By far the smallest of the 3 monasteries on the Route of the Cloisters. The highlight of the entire route was the Pharmacy and its audiovisual presentation. If you arrive for the 13:30 (last) time slot in the morning you don't have to be part of a guided tour - we had the monastery to ourselves after the 13:00 tour left. Special thanks to the very nice lady at the ticket desk and shop for the information and opening the pharmacy for us

A small monastery for women that is quite intimate. Nice altarpiece in tge main church but without a doubt, the highlight is the pharmacy, very informative and genuine. A special thanks to the young lady who opened it only for us as we were not part of a guided tour. As others have suggested, I would start the "Ruta de Cistres" here as the other two are much grander in scale. As an aside, the pueblo is kept immaculate.

We were unable to see the monastery from the inside as it was closed but the outside and surrounding village were nice to see and wander through. If you are in the area, it is a nice building to see but I wouldn't necessarily recommend making a special trip

Nice monastery of the so-called Cistercian triangle though it is certainly the smallest and most modest of the three. It was nice though to have a tour just for myself which may also have been influenced by the pandemical situation. As often in Spain the tourist staff spoke only Catalan and Spanish. I found it much more surprising that the films who made up more than half of the tour we’re also in no other language offered than the two mentioned before. It would be much more attractive for foreign visitors If the films would be dubbed at least in English. If your time is limited I would first visit Poblet, then Santes Creus and Valldonga at last. Or for dramaturgical reasons the other way around.

This place was incredible! Such a treat to see this rock art, and the interpretation center is state of the art including a fun VR experience. Sadly we were the only visitors but it was nice to have the personal tour and no rush. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere but absolutely worth the drive.

We arrived on the off chance on a Sunday about an hour before chiding and were warnly welcomed by the lady on the desk. My partner was disabled and she made every accommodation posd8ble to make our visit enjoyable. We were the only visitors, and she gave us a wonderful tour of the site and put up with our barrage of questions. The site is amazing and awe-inspiring. I am an archaeologist with a particular interest in European Cave and rock art, and I learned a lot from site and from the knowledge of the staff. Thank you for making this so memorable

We expected a dry experience, focused on a few cave paintings. BEWARE! This is NOT what you will get here! The staff, exquisite, friendly, helpful, despite our lack of decent Castilian, went out of their way to make our experience unique. The staff immersed us, in their passion, of this incredible site, used for thousands of years by differing groups, as a place to express the individuality and artistry of people 10,000, 12,000 years ago. It is a true insight into the skill and eloquence of our forbears. THIS SITE IS NOT TO BE MISSED! Now, that is the review for the centre and the cave paintings…but there is more, much more… For the entry price of €4, you get this experience, with a highly skilled, knowledgeable local guide, steeped in the minutiae of every aspect of the incredible history of this site. Then there is the Virtual Reality presentation. This was my first. Be prepared to have your limits of perception BLOWN APART. If you love gaming, history, geography…this is utterly incredible. I have flown a thousand meters over medieval castles, ridden a rocky magic carpet 10,000 years ago in the distant past…the programmers of this VR experience are the best in the game, and the staff the most gentle, helping us through the most immersive experience of my life. Yes, it is that good. Look at my other reviews - I do not normally gush. We advised them to up the entrance fee. €4 is simply not enough. Five stars. If I could give 10, I would. How this experience is out here in El Cogul is beyond my understanding. Go, and enjoy. It is perfection.

If you're into prehistoric art, it's a must see. The lady who runs it is extremely knowledgeable about the art and does an excellent explanation in English. I really enjoyed talking with her. The art itself is incredible. When you think ho long it's been sitting on this exposed rock wall, it's amazing there's anything left to see. A very worthwhile spot to visit.

We had a wonderful and engaging excursion led by Xavi, one of the owners. We really enjoyed the personal yet highly knowledgeable guided tour, with the highlight being the tasting of some truly excellent wines. Thank you very much! We’re looking forward to enjoying the wines back home.

Fantastic tour and tasting. Interactive tour through the winery with tastings throughout. The wines are very good and they are experimenting in some interesting ways. The customer service and flexibility in language (English) was awesome. What a beautiful bodega with strong leadership and solid wines. Highly recommend a visit!

We had an amazing experience on the walk and wine (short route)! There was chance for a private wine tasting in the vineyard followed by a tour of the cellers and more exceptional wine tasting. A beautiful place to visit. Easy to find the car park. Scan for an excellent free audio guide at the shop and then an instructive introductory video. The on-site cafe was also a pleasant surprise with fresh pastries. The audio guide gave enough information but not too much. (There was always an option for more detail.) A very pleasant couple of hours but could have easily spent more time.

We accidentally visited the monastery, but were amazed by the beauty and monumental details of this place. We even got to attend a service in the church. Highly recommended!

Very nice Monastery. Plenty of parking space. Discounts for students, not for ICOM members. The ticket lady had not a very friendly attitude for someone who works with people every day but other than that the rest of the staff very kind.

A must visit if in the area. Tickets were bought prior and it comes with access to an audio book. We went first thing on a Sunday which was really peaceful and with not many people around.

Santes Creus is an absolute insider tip and a must for monastery visitors, although it is currently being restored but is still beautifully situated in the countryside and not overcrowded and has super German audio explanations

Second of the monasteries on the Ruta de Cistres. The monastery is impressive in its architecture but not as intimate as its "little sister" nor as grand as the older brother. We avoided the tedious guided tour but not, unfortunately, the far more tedious audio visual explanation of the lifestyle of the Cistercian monks which lasted 30 minutes. If we were unaware of their lifestyle, I doubt we would be visiting in the first place! Worth the visit though. My advice would be to park minutes from the entrance NOT at the car park 10 minutes down the hill.

Part of 3 UNESCO World Heritage, the scenic route with video and explanation are of a very good quality. It’s obviously a must see if you are traveling in the area. You can buy a combined ticket with the 3 sites. This ticket is working for 2 years. There is a pause at noon on each site so it is recommended to visit them on two days. A good pretext to stop in on of the good restaurants near Valls (for a Calçotada for exemple).

Beautiful, peaceful place, very much worth the 5 EUR entry ticket. There is also ample parking space.

What an amazing place to visit. Rich in history and not well known. The ruins are beautifully preserved. A lot of restoration work is carried out. Entry fee is only 5 euros. The charterhouse was founded in 1194 and Escaladei was the first Carthusian Monastery on the peninsula. I really loved the arch at the entrance, it’s gorgeous. The square with the fountain in the middle is also stunning. If you in the area you should not miss it.

The place is quite far away from anywhere and you must access it through curly mountain roads, yet worth it and recommended if you combine the visit with a wine tasting and lunch in the Scala Dei cellars!

So this place is very out of the way, great if you want to visit somewhere less touristic. Entry fee is €5. The good: The restored cloister, they did a good job on it, it looks well, although parts of it were boarded up which didn't look good. The monk's cell, they restored one of them so you can get an idea of how they lived, you could see the living areas and a small cloister with plants, it was really quiet and I liked imagining how they lived. The bad: A lack of history, there are some information panels but I would have liked some more historical background. It looks a bit like a building site, I wish there were more open spaces open to the public instead of wired fences. Some of the buildings were renovated a bit, basically just a roof, they seemed very bare on the inside, no info, furniture or details. I recommend this place if you are in the area and looking for something to do

We visited Cartoixa d'Escaladei in late January 2023. We were surprised to find tour buses as we'd thought we were the only visitors in the region. There were about hundred or so tourists there. The ruins were much more extensive than I’d realized, and I hadn’t expected the renovation work that was in progress. They had restored some monk cells to give a sense of the monk’s everyday life: cloistered, i.e. no talking. They each had a small garden in which to grow flowers. I liked the desks with a view and the amazing history.

You need a car to get here. During our visit, theres a restoration going on. It was less touristy, so we could really enjoy the place. Hope to come back here again once everything is restored and no construction going on. The visit is still worth it.

Worth the visit- These old ruins were very cool. The drive up was just magical and serene. It’s about €3.50 to enter and you are free to walk around, check it out and take photos. There are informative panels all over explaining what happened to this monastery and showing you where things used to be. Definitely a cool experience and would highly suggest it!

Today, we had so much fun with wine tour from Salvador. Right from the start, we were welcomed so warmly. Salvador is full of humor, information and enthusiasm, and it was amazing to see how proud he is of the winery his family has built. It was fascinating to learn about their organic and sustainable approach to winemaking, and the wines themselves were absolutely amazing. The surroundings were beautiful, but what really made it special was how small-scale and personal it felt. Because it was a quieter time of year, it ended up being just the two of us with Salvador. There was no rush at all, which made the experience feel extra special and unforgettable. We would recommend this experience to everyone! Thank you so much Salvador!

What a gem !! Salvador & his family have been here 4 generations in Poboleda. 15€ for a tour of the vines, wine making facility, cellar & tasting. The best 15€ you will ever spend. You do need to know some Spanish. The history of this area is incredible. We bought a couple bottles only since we were leaving Spain soon. The 100% Garnatxa Negra blew my mind. So smooth & flavorful without being heavy handed. A remarkable wine (30€). People who live in Poboleda said the 100% Cariñena was even better (36€). Salvador & his wife are gracious hosts. You can see the passion for wine they have. It’s in their blood. Gracias Salvador. Espero volver a verte un día.

This heroic wine cellar is dedicated to produce certified organic wine… We had an amazing time, a lovely afternoon and an exquisite wine tasting with Conchita and Salvador, that showed us the fruit of their hard labour and love!!! Muchas Gracias a ambos!! Estuvimos muy a gusto!!

I had a chance to visit the cellars of Burgos Porta and while you need to speak either French or Catalan, the owner was great. He walked us through the fields, showed us the underground water system for watering the vines. Finally he brought us to the expansive cave where he stores his wine. We did buy and the prices were great.

We are just now enjoying a bottle from this winery after having visited back in December. Lovely wine (some of our favorite in the area) and the bodega is family run. It was a very welcoming experience and we recommend!

Salvador is the best! He is so personable! And very passionate about his wine! He speaks broken English and I speak even less Spanish. But somehow we communicated very well. Just proves that the language of wine and nature is universal. He was delightful. It is definitely off the beaten path. But so so worth the trek! Go to this winery!

This is a small winery making very good ecological wine. The tour was led by the owner, a very nice and friendly man who showed us some of the vines, explained the different grape varieties used, the slate they grow in, and took us through the process of making the wine. We also got to try some of the wines they make. I have visited several wineries, and this was I think the most interesting visit. Getting to the winery is a bit tricky and involves some very narrow streets.

Nice triumphal arc middle of the moderd road on top of ancient via Augusta. Well worth stopping. No good parking and road crossing bit dangerous.

Not great, but interesting. There are many other arcs close, in the same Catalunya area that have more panache and provide the viewer more awesomeness and thought inducing inspiration. Quick photo and that's it... to the next adventure!

Jordi and the Divinssi team are true professionals in every sense of the word. Our tour in early November was a real treat! We had the luxury of touring the winery and the fields, with a tasting in the fields. Jordi retrieved us from town and drove us out to the vineyard in his vehicle. We talked and laughed our whole way to the vines. Once in the vineyards he pointed out the different varieties that had gone into each of the four wines we tasted. Our tasting included tasty items from the local villages (incl. ibérico ham, fuet sausage, 2 local cheeses, olives, bread, and the most amazing almonds we have ever eaten). If you are reading this review to the end, then you need to go discover the Priorat wines - and speak with Jordi!

From moment one, Jordi makes you feel welcome. The ‘tasting room’ is the best one yet…..the wines are exclusive and yummy. The view is outstanding. This is truly a unique experience. If Jordi is available (most months of the year), wear sensible shoes & show up! Enjoy.

A Magical Wine Tasting Experience at Sunset We visited with a group of 18 and had an unforgettable evening. The setting was stunning — overlooking the vineyard at sunset — and the wines were excellent. Jordy was a great host: friendly, informative, and passionate. A perfect mix of nature, wine, and warm hospitality!

We had an amazing tour with Jordi. All was taken care of and the wines and nibbles tasted great. We learned a lot, he really knows how to make it a great experience adjusted to what you know so far about wines. Very recommended!

Our visit to Devinssi Winery was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived at the Pi dels Llops in Gratallops, we were greeted warmly by Jordi, who made us feel right at home. The experience began with a scenic and informative journey through the beautiful vineyards, where Jordi expertly guided us in his van. As we drove through the picturesque landscape, he shared fascinating details about the origins and age of the vines, as well as the unique characteristics of the different plots. It was a truly enriching experience that deepened our appreciation for the winemaking process. After our vineyard tour, we returned to Gratallops to the wine house for the much-anticipated tasting. The food plate, which consisted of locally produced delicacies, was simply delicious and complemented the wines perfectly. We had the pleasure of tasting four wines in total: three outstanding reds—Nas de les Valls, Il Lia, and Rocapoll—and a refreshing mineral white, Diviño. Each wine was unique and showcased the distinct terroir of the region. The visit concluded with a tour of the cellar, where the wines are aged and bottled. We left with some of our favorite wines in hand, feeling grateful for such a memorable experience. Thank you, Jordi, for an unforgettable day!

My daughter and I had the most fabulous day and evening with the Cellar Devinssi! We started out with a tour of their vineyard and cellar. We continued our visit with a wonderful tasting of their fabulous wines! Earlier we had contacted Jordi about staying at their newly finished apartment for the evening and it was wonderful! Everything was clean, great bed, bathroom, and easy walk to a great dinner that evening. We had a great stay and would love to return! If you are looking to stay in the area, this was a magical day and stay that a highly recommend !!

My wife and I visited in June and Jordi took us up for a sunset wine tasting with appetizers. Beautiful views and Jordi highlighted his wines, tasting notes and the history of the local vines. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Day Out at the Water Park We had a fab day out—our kids absolutely loved it! We chose to go on a slightly cloudy day, which worked out perfectly for our youngest (age 5), as it made the heat more bearable. As expected during peak season, the queues were long—around 60 minutes for the popular attractions—but that’s to be expected in August. The park itself was very clean and well-maintained, with plenty of facilities including toilets, lockers, and lots of food and drink options. For lunch, we spent €85 for our family of five. That included 3 junior meals (pizza, chips, pudding, and a drink) and 2 adult meals (fish & chips, and chicken & chips). Food was decent, and service was efficient. Overall, a great family day out. The kids had a blast and will definitely sleep well tonight.

Amazing amusement park! Would definitely go back sometime. The best advice is to buy express pass, as the waiting time for each attraction is between 40-60 minutes. We have visited the park on 16th October and it was so so crowded

PortAventura is full of variety and well worth the visit — but a little planning makes the day smoother with a tip. Bring a refillable bottle, as there are fountains around the park to top up. You’ll need at least 5–6 hours to cover the rides, especially with waiting times. The Express Pass really depends on when you go — we visited on a Tuesday at the end of September and rarely waited more than 30 minutes, though some rides did creep up to 50+ minutes at peak times. A good tip is to go for rides during or just after typical lunch hours, when queues are often much shorter.

Love this theme park . One of the best actual themed parks I've been too . The rides are all amazing. Although have to say was a bit disappointed with uncharted...it could have been so much better. The AR mine train was amazing with the serpents flying over your head. Not been here for 10 years and didn't see many changes or new rides since last time. But still great and my 5 time here

Fantastic Port Aventura World This park has incredible rides, we loved it with my son. Our favourite was Furious Baco ! It was the 1st of January this year, so was not too crowded and a FANTASTIC way for us to begin the year. We will back we loved this park!

Great place with many joyful experiences. There are thrills for all desires. Definitely advise to visit if you like rollercoasters and other exciting experiences. Best to go there in off-season when kids are back to school to avoid long queues. If attending during holiday breaks definitely think about express pass to enjoy there rides and not standing in wait.

Parking was 12 euros. Toilets aren't too far away from each other. Food is very expensive, 12 eur for a hotdog. Park is really big, it takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the opposite side of the park, loads of different themes which is very exciting to look at! Ferrari land has HUGE lines, highly recommend getting pass ticket for the main ride since we waited for almost 5 hours... Overall, the park is really nice and there's much to see x)

Place to be absolutely avoided Very dirty in common areas, toilets areas as well as attractions, with serious risks of getting skin irritation as happened to me ... I unfortunately visited this park this July and it was a carnage. Uncontrolled number of people made the situatuin very caothic. Queues of a minimum of over one hour for each attraction with several blockages and slowdowns due also to the poor preparation of the young and inexperienced staff. Dirty everywhere and unpleasent discussions with other visitors standing to grab your chair or sunbed as soon you get up or, simply because insufficient in numbers compared with the uncontrolled number of people admitted. All of this at the "cheapest " price of 47 Euro ,if you cannot book online in advance for chhosing a fix date, plus 15 Euros for parking and 8 Euros for a small locker.....More than adventure an unpleasent disadventure .....

If you are staying few days around, then you must visit it along with the 2 other parks (portaventura world and ferrari land). However, if you are visiting just for one day, I would suggest just going to Portaventura world instead. We stayed at one of the portavenrura hotels nearby for 3 days to be able to discover all 3 parks (portaventura world, portaventura aquatic park and ferrari land). We spent one day in this caribe aquatic park.

I’m visiting this park every year in the last 10 years. The kids love the place . I’ve decided to give the place minimum score because it doesn’t care about the guest . 2025 is almost 2015 , very little in places shadows . The sun is killing in Spain . And the place doesn’t care about his guests health . The food . I understand it should be expensive as they do the maximum to take any penny they can . Fat food, almost nothing healthy . So above fun , take care of your guests . Put many umbrellas so people can hide from the sun, and sell healthy food.

We were absolutely delighted with our visit to the water park! Since we only had one day, we decided to purchase VIP tickets — and it turned out to be the best choice. They were worth every penny: the VIP lines were minimal, while the regular ticket lines stretched far beyond the designated areas. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy more attractions without wasting time in queues and fully immerse ourselves in the experience. The atmosphere was fantastic, everything was clean, and the staff was polite and well-organized. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially if your time is limited or if you want to spend the day in maximum comfort.

The worst aqua park I ever been, and I've been in all over the World, from Turkey, UAE to Australia... Not many slides and pools, but the worst of all is that it is too much crowded, there is 3 times more people than capacity! For every slide waiting is more than an hour, some even 2... If you want to eat, more than 1 hour waiting and count minimum 100€ for 4 persons with 1 drink. My advice, if you want to go anyway, buy extra pass and than there is 0 mins waiting.. If you enter at 11am, don't count you will get any sunbeds, it's completely full! Locker rooms also waiting time around 30 minutes and it is 8€ for small and 11€ for bigger bags! Better go once again to PortAventura World and Ferrari World.

Came to the park just with my two kids 12 and 10 in on a Thursday in the May school holiday. Being a single parent, I was quite concerned about the logistics of keeping valuables safe while also enjoying the park with the kids. However, the lockers are quite straightforward - once paid, you get a printout with a locker allocation and a six digit pin. I managed to remember this which meant I could put everything in the locker. I would say these are good for one medium sized rucksack and a few other extras. We got to the park from the Barcelona-Salou train, that gets in a 10 and had bought tickets in advance at the train station - would recommend this or alternatively on line as there are queues for on-site ticket purchasing. The park opened at 11, and there was only a short queue once we got through the bag check zone (that is for all three parks). The water park is great and, at this time of year, it was not very busy - we easily got a lounger under the shaded area and the weather was perfect for us. The slides are great and the queues were minimal throughout the day. The green and blue Barracudas are great (green one is better) and so is El Torrente, which is a big dinghy that can hold up to four each time. Many say the lifeguards blow whistles too much but as long as you know what to do it is fine. As my sunglasses are prescription, it was slightly annoying not being able to wear them on the lazy river or Bahama Beach but I coped. Didn't try the food but had a couple of beers and ice creams. Took a large bottle of water in. In all, would say this is a great time to visit this park. I suspect that in the summer this would not get 5 stars as I expect queues would be much larger and weather too hot!

We had fun at this water park, we got there at opening time on a Monday and it was already very busy and we had to queue for lockers (expensive!). If we were to go again we maybe wouldn't bother with a locker and would leave our things on a sunbed instead as most people seemed to be doing. We had to queue for some slides but we didn't think it was too bad. We spent all day there and went on all of the slides we wanted to and some twice. I do think there must be a more efficient system for the rings though, having to queue to get one then queue again for the slide wasn't ideal. The food was okay, they had veggie hotdogs which were good. You get a reusable cup if you buy a drink. There's no photographers so you won't get a souvenir photo.

Amazing theme park one of a kind. Very spacious clean and organised. Get ready for long queues depends the days and times but worth the wait. Gates just open 16:30 and close late time enough to enjoy all the rides Me and my family enjoy a lot here... I would recommend a visit definitely

I think most people will be visiting Ferrari Land purely for "The Red one", other than this ride we only went on 3 others as the park was only open 1700-2200. The Red one was great....the others not so much. But please near in mind we are seasoned Theme park visitors.....had we never had be on "soaring" we maybe would have appreciated "Flying dream" however with a 1hr 45 min wait we didn't. Racing legends seemed to be operating at Limited capacity and the "water jets" weren't working. We entered the park from Portaventura as hotel guests and queued for 30 mins, we then went straight to "The Red one" and queued for around 30 mins. The queues after that were over 2 hours. We ate at "Pit stop" the food was as expected for pizza, chips etc however the service was extremely slow. If you are willing to pay entry for 1 ride then its a good ride, generally the park isn't thay great, small and gift shops are crazy expensive.

Amazing experience, would need a couple of days to do all rides as times were avg 1.5hrs. Museum had lots of interesting facts. Photo opportunities for all the family, in a road car and f1 car. Absolutely adore this place. Bought the 3 day 3 park tickets. Bought fast passes for the 5 ride pack and it was so good. The Ferrari ride is amazing. I went on it twice and was gutted I had to leave. Highly recommend this park. If you’re scared of rides or feel uneasy going on the red force ride GO ON IT!!!! You won’t regret it and it’s unbelievable.

If you are a F1 Ferrari team fan you will love this place! To see a real racing car, experience of driving a simulation of F1 race or adrenalin rush in a Red Force rollercoster is a lifetime memory! Even the children can ride in small cars and also try F1 simulator. Everything is amazing wherever you look. Highly recommended to any F1 fan.

A very nice destination for car enthusiasts , Ferrari’s all over the place! The Gallery is awesome, the store is modest the rollercoaster is wonderful. The Enzo Ferrari 3d video and simulator is unbelievable! They needed to add serious toys for big boys like me such as having a test drive with instructor on the circuit.

The queue for a simple kids car ride wasn't too long in length but has taken well over 2hrs. This place is good if you like to queue nine hours for 2 adult and 2 kids rides.Wasted a day of my life here.

I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.

Clean ! This was my first impression,the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.

Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.

This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.

A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.

Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.

It was a nice waterpark. With nice slides for bigger kids and awesome Pools for the smaller kids. Waiting lines for the slides were very long. And you do not know how long it takes before its your turn. At the 'oval-slide' a slide for families where you go in a little boat for 4, we waited 1,5h in line and the slide took not even 30 secconds.

The beach consists completely of sand, there are public facilities like toilets and showers to cleanse yourself from the sea water and sand. Water is scarce so you can only use it to rinse yourself. Sea is nice and shallow at the coast. it takes a lot of meters before it becomes deeper which is very child friendly. Depending on the weather, the sea tends to be wavy. Overall a nice beach with a large coastline.

Can hire the beach seating equipment for Euro 18 and has adjacent streets full of bars,restaurants and shops for tourists. Weekends get crowded due to the popularity of this beach in Salou.

Avoid avoid avoid. Horrendous in August, sea is packed, beach is packed, can't get anywhere near the front to sit. Can't let the kids (who are old enough) swim on their own because you can't see them. Can't go in altogether as Salou is bad for pickpockets and robberies so you absolutely cannot leave anything valuable on your sunbed/towel. There was turd floating round in the sea. Based on what we have seen here, we would never return to Salou for either a holiday or beach day. La Pineda beach right round the corner is AMAZING ❤️☀️

Nice beach, busy though so get there early e.g. 10am ish if you want sunbeds. We bought 3 beds and a parasol and it was 40€ which I thought was quite expensive. You do get a free small beer from the beach bar for each sunbed bought.

If visiting Miravet definitely worthwhile the visit. Most of it is in ruins but still a interesting visit and definitely worth the € 5,- entrance. The walk up is fantastic and very scenic but heavy uphill if one not in good shape or difficulties in walking.

Wonderful views, odd parking guide. There was a guy in the middle of the road denying access with a car saying it's only 12 mins walk (is not). It's a steep hike to the top and there is quite a big parking place next to the castle anyway. We returned later and went with a car which was the better choice to be able to enjoy the castle too. The castle is under renovations so entrance was only 3 euros because not all places were open.

Wow, Miravet Castle is like stepping into a medieval saga perched above the Ebro River! The views from the ramparts are absolutely jaw-dropping think endless rolling hills and the river winding like a silver ribbon below. I paid €5 for the ticket (totally worth it, students get it for €2!), and the climb up the tribute tower’s spiral staircase had my heart racing not just from the effort but those epic panoramas at the top. Insider tip: wear comfy shoes, the cobblestone path from the village is steep and slippery in spots. Oh, and did you know this Templar fortress was once a Moorish stronghold before the Knights transformed it in the 12th century? Save time for the pottery shops in Miravet’s old town they’re a hidden gem!

I loved this town! We drove to the castle, which was nice but not as nice as others in the area. But, the views were incredible! I loved the river going through the town. Our friends drove the car back down, and I went took the easy walking path through the trees. I wouldn't have wanted to walk up it, but down was easy. It empties into the town, and walked down through small streets to the river. The cute mouse house had to be noted! I hear you can kayak in the river but the current looked VERY strong, so I'm not sure it's something I'm able to do. People were swimming close to the shore though. There's a small cafe where you can eat, too. Certainly come check it out!

Highly ridiculous. I knew that prices had risen due to inflation, but the price to enter this castle is a crime. If you are a history lover and you like to see empty castles with only stone, this is an ideal place for you. I expected there to be materials typical of the century in which construction began. Honestly, in my opinion, it's not worth it. The views are not that pretty (although I have to say that when I took the view the day was cloudy). It only took us 20 minutes to see the entire castle. Very interesting building to visit some some 20 min drive away from Miravet. Outstanding architectural masterpiece for Gaudí enthusiasts. A historical cooperative for local Terra Alta wine making in traditional style. We took the visit with 2 wines for tasting + their olive oil. We visited this place as a group of four for €35, but only two of us were allowed to enter the museum. The museum itself is nice, but nothing special — you can see everything in about 10–15 minutes. After the museum, we were supposed to receive six glasses of wine (since we paid €15 for 2 glasses and €20 for 4 glasses). Instead, they just poured different wines into the same glass, which completely ruined the taste and aroma. I was visiting L’hospitalet early September’21, happened to find this awesome bar and it was Flamenco night. I had a such a wonderful time. Friendly staffs, variety of drinks, reasonable pricing, nice atmosphere infront of beach, perfect location for night out. They have live band every night from country to Flamingo… owner Monica was very kind and makes you feel at home. Highly recommend anyone who is visiting the area.

Beautiful place to visit, the geology is incredible. The access road is very steep and can be tricky but we did it in our campervan and it was fine. The water is not hot but we did have a very refreshing dip 🥶. Amazing views on the way there too!!

Landmark & Historical Castle This is the Spanish Mont Saint Michel, it is really nice to see and I believe unique in Spain. This Castle sits on the see and looks great from afar. In the town itself you can see a few narrow streets a few restaurants. We enjoyed wandering around here, and can only highly recommend visiting!

Enjoyable couple of hours. Large and steep steps in places. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful castle as seen in The Game of Thrones (GOT) Season 6. Well maintained with plenty of beautiful views of the city and beaches. Patking downtown is available. Nice walk up to the castle.

A stunning medieval castle with incredible views over the sea and the old town. Full of history, charm, and beautiful architecture – a must-see when visiting Peñíscola.

Amazing views to the sea, the pennisula, and the local beaches! The view is the best part of the experience, although, the castle does have a rich history, esp.the story of Pope Luna, and the castle garden was used in the shooting of A Game of Thrones. Sun block is recommended. ☀️🇪🇸🌅

If you’re already in Peñíscola and you’re already visiting the old town, it’s worth dropping by this house. It’s incredibly unique and quite beautiful. I wouldn’t go well out of my way to make a special trip strictly for this attraction.

Emblematic Peñiscola building that serves as a favorite picture taking spot--the history behind the house is fascinating with the husband redoing the exterior with shells in response to his wife's favorite pastime, collecting sea shells.

A must see if you and visit the castle area as it is close to it. It is also close to the Buceador. The seashell details are intricate amd beautiful.

I loved the originality of this house and the restuarant that is near by is really good, it has a nice view and affordable. Definitively what expected and a bit more.
