I attended the mass on Sunday morning 8:15 am, a very quaint and quiet church amidst all the noisy tourist shuttling at the foot of the church. They conduct masses in English , Portuguese , mixed mass and even Marathi and Konkani. This structure still holds the history of the Portuguese invaders. There are multiple ways to getting to the church which i figured I wont tell here since tourists do tourist stuff! This church boasts friendly priests, short and sweet masses, and extremely kid friendly activities that the church is aiming to involve more. I pray this beautiful church continues holding its legacies for centuries to come.

Beautiful calm beach with less people. Clean shallow water. First time I'm seeing so many star fishes in my life. So was a memorable experience.

Colva beach is Nice and peaceful beach in South Goa. But somewhere beach is not maintained clean. Good for family. We can have drinks and good eateries here.

15 mins from the much hyped colva beach but this one is much cleaner and less crowded. It's a White sand beach. We spotted many starfishes, sea snails and small crabs on the beach. Beautiful place to enjoy sunset

Peaceful & Pristine! Varca Beach is one of the most beautiful and cleanest beaches in South Goa. Far from the usual crowd, it offers a serene and relaxing vibe. Perfect for long walks, peaceful sunsets, and quiet time by the sea. Highly recommended if you’re looking to escape the chaos and enjoy nature!

One of the best and most interesting places I have visited in Goa! If you love nature, plants, spices then this place is a must! We had a really nice and knowledgeable tour guide explaining and showing us everything. She answered to all our questions and was really delighted to show us around. After the tour in the "garden" we had a big buffet with really nice food. Also we could buy home made stuff and spices there, which was awesome for us tourists

Butterfly Beach in South Goa is truly a little slice of paradise! 🦋 Hidden away between lush green hills and crystal-clear blue waters, it feels like nature’s own secret getaway. The moment you arrive, whether by a thrilling boat ride from Palolem or a short forest trek, you can instantly feel the calmness and beauty of the place. The beach is quiet, clean, and surrounded by breathtaking scenery it almost feels untouched by the modern world. 🌿 I was amazed by how peaceful it was, with only the sounds of waves and birds filling the air. During sunset, the sky turns into shades of gold and pink, reflecting beautifully on the water it’s honestly one of the most magical sights I’ve ever seen in Goa. 🌅 There aren’t any shops or cafes nearby, so it’s a good idea to carry your own water and snacks, but that also keeps the beach pure and undisturbed. If you love nature, photography, or just want to escape the noisy beaches and spend some quiet time, Butterfly Beach is an absolute must-visit.

My favorite beach in India so far! Has everything.. sunset, backwaters, great food, nice shopping, water & adventure activities, mangrove boating etc and super calm waters.

A year ago, during my return from a college trip to Goa, we stopped by this incredible beach. It’s one of the cleanest beaches I’ve ever seen, with minimal crowds, making it a perfect spot to rest and unwind for a while. Although I didn’t personally try it, my classmates mentioned there’s a nearby hotel that serves good food. I’ll share some photos of the beach so you can get an idea and plan accordingly. As for activities, I didn’t notice any, like motorboats or other water sports, during my visit.

Visited the Warship Museum (INS Chapal) in Karwar – a unique experience inside a real Navy ship. You can explore cabins, weapons and get a feel of naval life. The view from the deck, especially near sunset, is beautiful.

I didn't stay there. We went for a day outing to see the Spices at the farm. It's a generation old forest, full off native Indian and some other spices. They serve a welcome drink and then give you a tour with all the information and history you need ! It's great. The food they serve is healthy and freshly made, must have that too after your tour. And they also have a souvenir shop where you can buy all the spices and different amazing products made out of them.

This is a fascinating destination for nature lovers, history lovers and the adventurers. As also those who are religious(primarily hindus) since they worship God in this temple. This monument has been declared to be of national importance. The journey to this location situated in the Mollem wildlife Sanctuary was breathtakingly beautiful with lush forests on both sides of the road. The road which connnects from the main road to the location was well maintained and was a pleasure to drive on. We started off from Mapusa and proceeded to Valpoi via Bicholim, proceeeded to Honda and took a right turn at Cotorem untill we reached a junction where we took a left turn. From here the temple is about 15 km. The road is straight and simple. The road is being widened at certain areas. If you continue going right for another 7 kms you ll reach Bondla Park and Zoo. It took us about 90 minutes or so to reach this destination. A charge of Rs 10 per person is charged by the Panchayat at the Mollem Sanctuary checkpost to take care of the Garbage as per their receipt. On the way there were ample opportunities to click beautiful pics with mother Nature. Upon arrival you are greeted with the locals selling fresh flowers to offer to the temple diety for 30 Rs a bunch. (Wrapped by a large leaf) an eco-sensitive move. There are a couple of eateries which serve you lime soda, softdrinks etc. Along with mirchi pav, kaapa, maggi noodles etc. There is a small bridge built over the stream and after a brief walk (100m) leads to the main temple arena. Chilled and hygienic drinking water is available. There is toilet facility. Car parking is ample but on weekends it could get a little crowded. In one corner of the area there this beautiful tree with Pajakta flowers(parijat) also known as night jasmine. It made a pretty sight. There is provision to light incense sticks. The structure of the temple is made up of Basalt rock and has multiple carvings which has been detailed by the ASI(Goa circle) in its information board at the entrance. This place would be worth visiting during rains however no swimming is permitted which can lead to fatalities. A warning board is seen to that effect. We were lucky to see small animals such as the cute monkeys who eat from your hand, monitor lizards and mongooses. we also saw a school, a health centre and a car workshop in this area. Looks like things are developing in this area. All in all this temple is a masterpiece of a carving dated to 12th or 13th sanctuary. While in Goa, put this destination on your travel list!

Such a beautiful creation by nature!! An adventurous drive by the jeep for almost an hour to the majestic Dudh Sagar waterfall. On the way it's a lush green rain forest with a few water crossings. The sight of the mighty waterfalls is so mesmerizing. Swimming at the bottom the waterfall is an amazing experience. Visiting this place is definitely worth it!!

One of the best and easiest trek. Start ny morning itself 12+12 kms trek thru forest, streams and tracks. Earlier trek till upper waterfalls now they stopped. Always book a guide, if going solo join a group.

Good place/ falls for a picnic with family. Suggestion: 1. Can't swim 2. No network 3. Carry some cash. 4. Carry your food. 5. Entry fee (50) per head.

An amazing place to view nature. To paraphrase Kuvembu , the river looks like a God's Signature among the infine sky and the green mountains from here. You need permission to go here and also try to go before 5pm.

One of best scenic waterfalls. I visited during the monsoon season. There are multiple viewpoints, all accessible by stairs. On the way to the highest viewpoint you can also see a small waterfall several kilometres away in the opposite direction of the Magog waterfalls.

What an amazing place of religious significance this is. Nestled deep in western ghat jungle, this place is an oasis The temple and mattha is very ancient and is a sacred pilgrimage for the madhava culture. Some parts of the temple premises were under construction so could not completely see it. There is a dharamshala for pilgrims to stay. The closest town is Sirsi which is 20 km away. This is a must visit place. If you travel this far, don't miss the Sodhe Sri Swarnavalli mattha... This is another beautiful temple.
