Good Hindu Ancient Temple. Religious valuable place. We have visited Tulsishyam Springs many times but last we visited this when we had gone to Junagadh Gir Forest and on our way back we went to Tulsishyam springs again. This place is very famous for the hot springs in the state.Tulshi Shyaam is located on the Dhari-Una roadside in the Gir forest surroundings. This is a historical and also a peaceful place located amongst natural environment and in a small but dense forest.There are 3 hot water springs at the location with the 1st one filled with hot water, the second one filled with more hot water and the third water spring was having hot boiling water. The water is full of natural sulphur and saying goes if you take a deep full body in the water In the Indian Puranas these are refened to as 'Taptodak' .Legend says that Lord Krishna eliminated the demon called Tul and so the place is associated with his name along with that of Krishna as Shyam and is thus called Tulsishyam. You can also visit a 700 years old The Rukmani Devi Temple nearby Tulsi Shyaam. it has over 452 steps to temple so its difficult for elders.Private and state transport buses are available to reach here. If you want to stay overnight, you can stay in government guest house. Food is also available there. You should be in your room before 9 am and after 6 pm as its a forest and wild animals like lions etc roaming around. Tulsishyam Temple History The Tulsishyam Temple is located in the centre of Gir, 30 km from Una District. The Tulsishyam temple in the village of the same name is dedicated to Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna. Located in the idyllic surroundings of the Sasan Gir reserve forest, Tulsishyam is about 30 km from Una. It is believed Lord Krishna killed a demon called Tul at this place. The temple is about seven hundred years old, but the enshrined Murti is said to be nearly 3,000 years old. The temple is on the top of a small hill, with 100 steps leading up to it. Tulsishyam Temple Hot Water Springs One interesting feature here is the hot springs. These are in three sections, with hot water at increasing temperatures. The third kund is at its boiling point. The Kunds are known as ‘Taptodak’. The waters are said to have curative properties. Adjacent to this hot water spring is the ancient Tulsi-Rukmini Temple. Devotees can visit Rukmani Devi Temple, located on a small hill with around 100 steps to climb opposite Tulsi Shyam Temple and Mahaprabhuji Bethak near the temple. Dharmashala and Bhojanalaya are available at Tulsi Shyam to facilitate devotees. Many times, lions and other wild animals are moving around this temple and on the road, so it is not advisable to drive during the night.

The beach is really nice and clean but when I was travelling I saw lot of industrial factories near by so I would suggest enjoy the beach view and rides without entering the water as it can harm your skin. Views are really awesome food options also available.

Last Sunday when I visited it was too crowded. Look like a fair, there are lot of activities like camel riding, horse riding and bike riding. Children like to play with sand. And most interesting thing on the beach is view of sunset. Its so peaceful to see sunset. better than Dummas beach.

Early mornings are preferred to make the most out of this experience. It's less crowded, clean and an apt space for people who have a love for slow life. The earlier you can go, the longer you can enjoy without the scorching sun heat and the waves are really apt in the morning if you plan to go further in the sea.

Great place to visit with friends & family...can do a day picnic too.

i just visited this auspicious highly spiritual place of jain temple , it was truly satisfying experience , with blessings . if one sits inside the temple and do meditation its amazing experience , vibes are too good , you will have unparalleled feelings , one should try once at-least to be here . its about 3500 steps to climb but god gives energy to everyone and no-one is turned back in between .

Palitana is the world's only mountain that has more than 900 temples. Temples as well as whole mountain is considered the most sacred pilgrimage place by the jain community, being world's largest temple complex. From the foot of the hill to the top there are about 3,800 stone steps to facilitate climbing. Not just the temples on the hill are sacred, but as per Jain scriptures entire hill is sacred right from top to bottom. The journey is arduous. For those unable or unaccustomed to the strain, sling chairs are available for bargain. Food mist neither be eaten nor carried on the way. The descent must begin before it is evening, for no soul can remain atop the sacred Mountain during the night. Palitana is the first city in the world to be legally vegetarian. It has outlawed, or made illegal, the buying and selling of meat, fish and eggs and also related jobs or work, such as fishing and penning 'food animals'. Must visit.

Visited March 2019. I just had to see this place. I'm not a Jain, btw. The thought of climbing 3346 steps was a challenge of sorts. And something to brag about later ;-) . Managed to do it in about two and half hours. The climb up is really something. The temples on top are really beautiful - worth the effort. And the atmosphere ... you just have to experience it. No photography allowed on top. This is something worth doing. See attached pics of the climb up.

Cannot share the experience on a review however you need to visit here to experience it. It a very Holy and divine place it a must visit for any Jain people in the world. Just for those who are not Jain this Derasar is open for everyone but you need to maintain a decent attire and eating or drinking any thing apart from water is strictly not allowed during you climb or once you reach up.Just approximately 3600 steps to climb depends on your speed but takes around 2hr one way to reach up. You can start as early as 4am in morning as Derasar opens by 6 am in summer. Beaware about those doliwalas and other helpers would not recommend you to hire any of those. Please not Photography inside or near Derasar premises is strictly prohibited.

I am no one to describe or rate this place. Google has less stars to rate this place. Just sharing my experience and little insights: Most recognised Teerth among all the Jains in the world. It is first of the only two vegetarians city in the world. The temple hill has around 3500+ stairs to reach to the peak where Idol of First Jain Teerthankar Bhagwan Shri Aadinath is present in the main Temple along with so many Temples and idols. You cannot remove your attention from the Aadinath dada Idol once you are there, you feel so light and might get so many goose bumps until you are in the vicinity of the main temple. The place is very peaceful, millions of devotees visits every year, On the occasion of Akshay tritiya so many devotees come to break their year long fast (Varshi tapka parna) from all over the country.

You’ll need to walk about 500 meters from the mainland to reach this temple, but it’s totally worth it. The temple has five Shivlings where abhishek is performed, and there’s usually a pandit sitting there for guidance and blessings. The scenery around is really nice — we even caught a few tiny fish nearby! Tips: Be careful while walking, as there can be bits of glass on the path. Try to walk on dry sand if possible for an easier and safer walk. A calm, spiritual spot with a lovely natural vibe — definitely worth visiting.

Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in the Sea: This small temple, with a Shivling, submerges under sea water during high tide and reappears during low tide. It was our first time witnessing sea water slowly rising, gradually covering the Shivling and eventually reaching the shore—about 750 meters to 1 km away. Visiting this place at the right time is a must to truly experience its uniqueness. We reached at the perfect time—2:45 PM. By 3:00 PM, we noticed the water level beginning to rise, slowly filling the area. Around 3:20 PM, people started warning everyone to return to the shore. While walking back, we saw that nearly a quarter of the path was already submerged—the dry path we had used just minutes ago was now under water. Words can’t do full justice—this is something that must be experienced in person.

Very long back in time, pandavas killed their brothers in a battle and due to that got brahmahathi dosha, to nullify the dosha, they implanted 5 lingas and worshipped. Here sea water recede at a particular time and reveal the lingas. We have to dredge some time to reach the lingas. In the evening water closes the view of lingas. This natural process, happening in the kuch area is utilised by the ethereals. Nice place for a spiritual experience.

The Nishkalank Mahadev Temple in Bhavnagar is a unique sea temple located about one kilometer into the Arabian Sea, off the coast of Koliyak Beach. I had visited 2 days before around 7.30 PM. It was a good divine experience .Before visit kindly go through the time chart. So that you can save more time. Those who are come from outside GJ, if you want stay for early morning or late night visit one resort(Sanvi)is there from walkable distance. Kindly take you torch light in night visit as no lighting facility on pathway. Pandit will be there in both day and night for the puja.

We recently visited Ambaji Mata Temple, and it was a wonderful experience. The arrangements and management by the temple trust are excellent, allowing all devotees to have peaceful darshan. There is also a free parking facility near the temple, which is very convenient. However, some local people outside the temple stop visitors before entering the official parking area, saying “free parking here,” and later insist on buying prasad from them. I feel the temple trust should look into this issue. Apart from that, everything inside the temple is beautifully organized, and the overall experience was truly divine.

I visited my kuldevi mandir in Khodiyaar after many years and I was pleasantly surprised. They have made it a more better place n well organised.tjere is ample parking. There are shops selling pooja items on both the sides of the pathway leaving ample space for disciples to walk. It was quiet n peaceful. The Darshan was easy and no one was rushing us. We could spend some quiet time in the temple. I was happy to visit the Khodiyar ma mandir.

The most spiritual place of Khodiyar Mata in Bhavnagar. The place is located on outskirts of Bhavnagar in rajpara village. This hindu temple is very peacefull and it is in good maintained condition. Lot of people come here for darshan. There is taraniya dhara and seven sister' s gabbar there.

One of the best temple adjacent to BAPS swaminarayan temple dedicated to God Hanuman. It has a neat and clean surrounding and a devine feeling. Ample parking is available near temple and also many food outlets. It is also known as Kashtbhanjan temple. It's near Botad in Saurashtra and a popular destination among devotees. It has several good guest houses surrounded by temple with a Gaushala.

Slightly remote place, on the way to bhavnagar from ahmedabad. There is less public transportation means. Very nice place to feel the ancient history, no entry fees for visiting the site. Lothal museum is under construction about 5 km from the site.

Not much in terms of excavation, but a lovely place teeming with birds! Though a huge museum is coming up nearby. Worth a visit only if passing through nearby.

The Harappa civilization site at Lothal is a very beautiful place. It exudes a sense of peace, and the cool breeze makes you wonder why the people of Lothal chose to live here—perhaps it was because of this serene environment and pleasant climate. Although the structures are very old, their condition is gradually deteriorating because visitors enter the ruins, causing damage. In its current open state, it seems like the Archaeological Survey of India is not actively preserving it. The cemetery appears almost lost, with no accessible path to reach it. Overall, the site is very enriching for history enthusiasts, while others may see it as just a casual visit. However, you can truly appreciate that the people of that era had knowledge of science and mathematics. The government should take action to protect and preserve this heritage site.

Visiting lothal on weekends specially on early morning drives is recommended. I have visited yhe site at post monsoon so the dockyard is full of water giving real vibe. The location shows there is a museum is permenent closed. If you have prior knowledge of this site then this visit could be the most interesting. Otherwise you real roam around and exit.

Best time to visit this place is during winters. You will be able to sit and experience the thousands of years of history here. A must visit for history enthusiast. Currently the archeological musuem is under construction. There is no information when it will open again, therefore you won't be able see the artifacts that have been found here. But the site is open and you can definitely visit it.

Visited Lothal with family and really enjoyed the experience. The place gives a simple but amazing glimpse into one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Seeing the ancient dockyard and town layout felt like stepping back in time. Display photos of interesting artifacts explains things nicely. The area is peaceful, clean, and easy to explore. Carry water and a cap because the sun likes to attend the tour too. Great spot for a short, educational family trip. Perfect for anyone curious about old Indian history in a calm setting.

I visited the Amul Chocolate and Sweet House during my trip to Amul Foodland. I tried their samosa and also treated myself to some Amul ice cream. As always, Amul means excellent quality—no complaints at all. Both items were tasty, and I truly enjoyed the experience!

Absolutely loved it. The lake is very beautiful and amazing. It has few entry points but not all of them have parking option available. There are so many activities to do in the lake. Lots of food options. Lots of amazing activities. The train is very amazing, it gives you a one round about tour of a lake. In addition with that, it has flower garden, fishes to see and joy to experience.

Nice place to hang out with kids. There is a toy train ride which is a nice experience for kids. Multiple food restaurants and snacks sellers are there. We also visited 2 zoos in the same area. Recommend 5-6 hours time if you want to cover everything.

This is a very good place. The people come there to eat. The scenery there is very nice. I like it there a lot. There is a ride here. I also play with the children. There is an old tarin here. I sit in it and go around the whole Kakaria. This is a good one.

I went to Sabarmati Riverfront early in the morning during my exam days, and it turned out to be a very relaxing experience. The place is calm, the sound of the river waves is very soothing, and the cool morning breeze makes it even better. Ahmedabad can be quite hot, so visiting this place in the morning felt really peaceful. There’s a metro station around 2 km away, so it’s also easy to reach. The main riverfront area is open 24/7, but if you want to visit the Atal Bridge or garden area, they open after 9 AM. There are trees all around, and you can even find bicycles nearby to ride, though they are a bit costly. Still, it’s a good experience, especially for visitors from outside the city. Overall, a great spot for a quiet walk or just to sit and relax in the fresh air.

The riverfront is very beautiful and it is very peaceful during non-peak hours. I visited during early morning hours and I saw people cycling and jogging on the promenade. The river was very calm and greenery was lush. The infrastructure developed by the government there is very well maintained. The walking space is huge and very picturesque. The long riverfront offers ample space to exercise, cycle, run and walk. The place is also clean and not littered by plastic. I also saw a river cleaning boat gathering trash that was thrown in river during early hours.

Every year Kite festival is organized at this place during 14-January week. It's runs for 4 days approximately. During day there are people from different countries participating their kite flying skill. During evening there is cultural programs. Parking is not available at this event place. Laden is 2-3km far near the flower park. Is wish a visit. There's food court, wash rooms and drinking water facility.

The place is very beautiful with a proper cleanliness maintained throughout. Here their was few public entertainment thing here like the bicycle ride and other things. The river is also very neat and clean. The police persons also take rounds continuously through the river front for security. 0

Founded by Gandhi, the ashram served not only as his residence but as the nerve-centre of the Non-Violent Civil Disobedience Campaigns, including the 1930 Salt March. The simple, humble buildings and open spaces reflect Gandhi’s ideals of truth, simplicity, self-reliance and community life. A standout architectural element of the ashram is its museum complex – the Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya – designed by legendary architect Charles Correa and completed in 1963. Correa imbued the museum with a vernacular modernism: modular 6 m × 6 m units arranged around courtyards and water-bodies, brick piers, stone floors, tiled roofs and wooden louvre screens all deliberate to reflect ‘swadeshi’ materials and climatic responsiveness. This is my second visit after fifteen years. During my first visit I spent about three hours at the place going through each and every display. On the River front things were not so well organised. Now the place looks aged and lacks maintenance. The river front is now totally revamped and looks very inviting. Construction work for the new museum has started and may be, after couple of years it will again be a place to visit.

The carvings on the pillars and the walls. It can't be described. There is specific boards which explains the history of the monument. It will help the visitors to know and see the monument. The surroundings of the monument was little bit mess. There is cow dung every where ehich makes the visitors uncomfortable. To book the tickets its good to go through online.

The stepwell’s design is not only functional but also stunning, with layers that create an almost surreal vibe. I spent hours exploring and learning about its history - it’s amazing to think about how it was constructed so many centuries ago! Definitely a must-visit if you're in the Gandhinagar area. Whether you're a history buff or just someone who appreciates beautiful architecture, Adalaj Ni Vav is a place you can’t miss. Would love to return again soon!

A very fine example of craftsmanship in stone and the art of building Step wells. Structure is well preserved and offers a glimpse of architectural mastery of the age. It is a five storied structure with intricate carvings adoring the walls and ceilings. At the ground level structure is protected by a thick boundary wall and there are steps in multiple directions to get into the well.

The Adalaj Stepwell (Rudabai Stepwell) is a magnificent five-story architectural marvel built in 1499, which holds the poignant history of Queen Rudabai who ensured its completion after her husband's death before tragically ending her own life. The well's intricate carvings, including detailed ornamentation and mythological scenes across its galleries, showcase exquisite craftsmanship and create a truly atmospheric subterranean space. Its stunning geometry and interplay of light and shadow make it a perfect, visually rich location for heritage photography.

It's a very peaceful garden and very less crowded. There is a yoga space, open gym, a kid play area, relaxing benches, and unique designed lane. There is a beautiful marble statue showcasing the connection of Yoga and nature. It's really eye catching. Enough parking space outside the entry. You will definitely enjoy being here. Must visit.

Tirupati Rushivan was, in one word, a ‘fine’ experience. It is definitely a good pick for children, offering a variety of activities to keep them entertained. However, the afternoon heat makes it quite difficult for them to play comfortably, as the scorching sun can be overwhelming. The rides, unfortunately, felt too basic for adults while at the same time appearing somewhat risky for children. A more balanced selection of attractions would greatly improve the experience, catering to both age groups in a safer and more engaging manner. One of the highlights, however, was the beautiful display of bougainvillaea. The vibrant, colourful flowers added a charming touch to the surroundings, making for a delightful visual treat. On the downside, the washroom facilities were absolutely dreadful. This is an area that certainly needs urgent improvement to enhance visitors' overall comfort.

Had an amazing time here! The place is packed with thrilling activities and fun for all ages. The adventure park had various activities (Go Karting, Dash Car, Mary Go Round, Roller Coaster, Frizbee, Garden Area etc which is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adrenaline. The staff were friendly and made sure we felt safe and confident during every activity. The water park was just as fantastic. Donot expect it to be as big as other dedicated Water parks but a descent amount of rides that made it easy to spend the whole day here. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of shaded areas to relax when we needed a break. Food options were good — lots of variety and pretty reasonably priced for a park. The Food service was kind of less good but the food was actually good. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Will suggest visiting once ! Just keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY. (They have option of online payment but only upto 50% of the cost)

It was my second visit to this place. Before years there was no proper parking facility. But now, a good parking infrastructure with electric vehicle charging facility is developed. Even cafeteria has been constructed. Overall a worthy place to visit.

An amazing monument built before 1000 years is a must visit place for everyone. This temple is a perfect example of extreme engineering and technology before 1k years. The entire campus kept neat and clean. The whole structure was built on sand stones and is located right on the tropic of cancer. Do understand the history of this temple with the help of registerd guide which was available there and will charge 500 Rs per group which is quite reasonable. Overall a must must visit place for every Indian.

Unfortunately, I could not wait for the late evening light-and-sound show as there was just too much time to wait, too much crowd and too much distance to cover back to Ahmedabad. Also, the weather was super hot! But the show, shot by a tourist is available on YouTube. It is one of the best shows at heritage sites. So, if you plan to visit Modhera, it will be beneficial to visit it around 5 pm giving you enough time to see the temple till the 7pm show. The Sarkari Archaeological Museum here is super sad though!

I recently visited Bliss Water Park in Mehsana, and it was a day filled with both excitement and disappointment. The park itself is well-maintained and offers a good variety of rides. The wave pool is one of the major highlights — it’s clean, spacious, and gives you the real thrill of ocean waves. Another attraction that stood out was the Crazy River ride, which was total fun and perfect for families and friends looking for an exciting splash. However, my experience was ruined by the food. I had a meal from one of their food stalls, and it was a big letdown. The quality and hygiene seemed questionable. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, I started feeling uneasy and later suffered from food poisoning, which spoiled the rest of my trip and the following day as well. While the rides and water attractions are top-notch and worth the visit, the management seriously needs to improve the food quality and hygiene standards. I would recommend bringing your own food if possible or eating outside the park. Overall, Bliss Water Park is great for fun and adventure but fails when it comes to food safety.

The park can easily house 2500 to 3000 people. We went there on a day which was a public holiday, but since there was long weekend, the number of people rhat arrived was less. It is a good water park with around 9-10 rides. Crazy river was one of the best rides. They have a separate children's area. Parking is free. We went there when there was an offer and got food inclusive at 900/-. 200/- was locker charge. 30/- was the charge of 1 photo(soft copy). It has around 9 to 10 big rides. You can easily do all of them without the express ticket. They allow it regular people and one express person. 8:1 ratio. So no real use of express ticket. Also in express ticket only a few Tower rides and crazy river is covered. Children will love the experience.

Had a fantastic time at the water park! The ticket price was totally worth it, especially with lunch included — the food was delicious, fresh, and way better than expected. What truly impressed me was their focus on safety and comfort. The security guards were actively monitoring the gents-only area, ensuring that families could enjoy the pool without any discomfort. There was a well-managed separation between the family zone and the gents’ section, all within the same pool, which made it comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Nice water activities but there are no lift to climb the high towers that makes you tired soon. Overall great water park in terms of safety, security and enjoyment. Too much rush on weekends so it’s better if u can visit on weekdays. Including food is also of good quality and great taste. We were unable to do all the rides due to rush and towers without lift to climb and timings of river is also very tough to catch, so if you wish to go through the river you need to plan accordingly and wait for some time.

Better experience than other waterpark, specially food is too good and free cool drinking water arrangements everywhere in water park. Best place to get best experience for rides and swimming. Credit goes to good management. Everything is best, one business idea is there of photography in wave pool. Few photographer take photos in camera and ask to take photos from studio which charged INR 30 per photos and it's mandatory to take all photos which is drawback with loosing one star, there should be option to choose photos from taken photos and pay for only choosen photos, everything else is best. 👌🏻

Bliss Aqua Waterpark is a great stop if you're heading towards Ahmedabad from Jodhpur it’s located around 10 km before Mehsana city, right off the highway. Just note that it’s on the opposite side, so you’ll need to take a U-turn about 200 meters ahead. The park has free parking, but the parking area is a bit far (around 200 meters from the entrance), so it’s better to drop your family at the gate first and then park the car. Entry opens at 10 AM. Tickets are available right at the main gate ₹899 for adults and ₹600 for kids below 4 feet. The best part? All tickets include coupons for a free unlimited lunch buffet. The food was decent we had puri, chana masala, rice, dal, and aamras. Just a heads-up, the dal is quite sweet (classic Gujarat style), but everything was fresh and filling. Now coming to the main attraction the rides. There are tons of options for both kids and adults. Many of the adult slides are designed for 2 people, a few for 3–4 people, and some are for solo riders. I’d definitely recommend visiting in a group of at least 2 to make the most of the multi-person slides. The slides are thrilling and on par with what you'd expect in big parks like Imagica. The wave pool is also quite good and adds to the fun.

We were lucky enough to see this wonderful museum, in Patan, where they tell the history and how the world famous patola sari's are made. There is a small entrance fee, and they take you through each and every process of how the wonderful, famous and costly patola saris are made. Once you finish going around, one can understand how much effort goes into making one patola saree and how time consuming it is to make one patola saree. The only negative we found was the entire presentation is in Hindi and they didn't allow us to take any photographs inside.

It is a very good museum and the information is given well and all the old things are kept very well.

It’s like a small museum. Good to know history of Patan Patola sarees. The design of the saree is put on the threads, vertical and horizontal. As the saree is weaved the design emerges from the thread. Very laborious and time consuming. They also have a piece of malmal, famous fabric that used to be weaved earlier in India. Story that weavers hands were cut so that it cannot be made again. The saree of that can be folded in a matchbox.

It's very beautiful and ancient Jain tirth of Shree Ajitnath dada. It's built by kumarpal maharaja. All the idols in derasar are sampratikalin. Wonderful carvings at the top of the hill make it unique jain tirth. Prakshal timing is at 9:30 am. You can enjoy the early morning bhakti and sunrise view.

There is Dharamshala near the temple, it's good and the food is also good. Temple architecture is mesmerizing with huge pillars and a big Murti of God Ajithanth. One can go for derasar dwaar udgatan at 6:15am. You can go trekking to a nearby hill having 500 steps, small temple at top and watch sunrise and big rocks. Overall good experience

Honestly, I'm not into religion stuff but i kinda liked this temple. The experience to get there by car was so great because you can feel to really greens on the side of the rode. The temple situated between jungle and mountain.When you get there you can see the monkeys from the start,they are really friendly with everyone but you just need to feed them 🤣.

The best place to peacefully worship for Jains. It is not a picnic spot, no photos or videos allowed around the temple. Jains must have this temple on their bucket list. The receptionist wasn’t polite.

Sundha Mata temple is a nearly 900-year-old temple of Mother goddess Chamunda situated on a hilltop called Sundha, located at longitude 72.367°E and latitude 24.833°N, in Jalore District of Rajasthan, India. It is 64 km (40 mi) from Mount Abu and 20 km (12 mi) from the town of Bhinmal.[1] Geography At 1,220 m (4,000 ft) height in the Aravalli ranges on Sundha mountain there is a temple of thegoddess Chamunda Devi, worshipped as Sundha Matha by devotees. It is 105 km (65 mi) from district headquarters and 35 km (22 mi) from sub divisional Bhinmal. This place lies in Raniwara tehsil in the mid-east of Malwara to Jaswantpura Road near Dantlawas village. Many devotees from Gujarat and Rajasthan and the rest of India visit it. The environment here is fresh and attractive. The waterfalls flows year-round at the mountain. Many communities of different castes established community centres for devotees, and there are very good facilities to stay at the hilltop at night and worship Chamunda. Architecture Sundha Mata temple is made up of white marble, the pillars reminiscent of the art of Abu's Dilwara temples pillars. An idol of goddess Chamunda stands under the huge stone. Here Chamunda's head is worshipped. It is said that the trunk of mother Chamunda are established in Korta and legs in Sundarla Pal (Jalore). After the death of one of the Nath yogi Ajay Nath ji, no one was there to do the worship so Ram Nath ji (Aayas of Mengalwa that time) was taken there to take the responsibility. He also looked after land of "Sonani", "Dedol" ,"Mengalwa" and "Chitrodi". As the time passed, no one was there to do all the management, so a trust (Sundha Mata Trust) was created to look after temple and manage tourism. Shri Nath Ji Soni Sahib of Jaisalmer, the royal jewellers of the Jaisalmer State was also one of the prominent devotee of Sundhamata, another form of Chamunda Mata in Bhinmal, Jalore. This temple is 900 year old temple located at the top of the mountain sundha that’s why also know as sundha mata temple . It’s in jalore district of Rajasthan. A must visit place for trekking and nature lovers. You can see mountains, waterfalls and many other temples in between the way to the temple . One thing is that u should be aware of monkeys they will try to snatch your things . If u are not able to climb it by mountain so you can also take ropeway to the temple . If u are going by stairs then u will find many local shop to buy things . There will be a little bit crowded at temple . Sunrise and sunset view from the top is the best thing u will ever see . Don’t forget to climb sand dune that are at the back of the temple . From the top of the sand dune you will be able to see view of jungle and temple . I visited this temple in rainy season and on weekday

However it is littered with plastic and broken liquor bottles, need to search for clean patches.. local government should ensure cleanliness of the only sand patch they have to promote tourism. Will get rickshaws from the railway station area.

We visited while we were going back to ahmedabad from jaisalmer which is highly commercialised now at sam n way way crowded than badmer.... Is this the whole desert ? No its a small part of what is a rapidly diminishing sand dune. You can drive to the top or climb it. I did both. What the place is for sure is a great place to view the sunset.

Mahabar sand dunes is not in large space but good to explore both in sunset and sunrise time. Its 1.5 km distance from Kushal vatika jain chitamani parshvnath temple and also one hotel Sanchel fort. It is away from city traffic and very peaceful spot for spending beautiful time with families and friends. No activities their as it remains peaceful. Enjoyed a lot in climbing sand dunes at sunset time and you can see the beautiful city in the shadow of sun , view is quite breathtaking and adorable.. A large area covered with Sand carpet formation leaves you unforgettable memories here. In the morning time you can visit from the top by car and get another view of sand dunes .

This group of Kiradu temples near Barmer is an example of art which will make people astonished. This is very old historical group of temples situated in Kiradu, Rajasthan founded by Parmar kingdom in the 11th century. It is surprising how they even exist today. Five temples still are there, biggest of them is Someswar temple. Some of the artwork is destroyed by attackers. Still what remains is amazing. It is not much famous and people don't visit this place. However this is worth visiting. Now Rajasthan Government is repairing these temples and creating connecting roads which will facilitate people to visit them. I request all to visit these temples.

Although it is not very famous it is quite a heaven for people who are interested in history , art and culture ,this place situated around 40 kms from Barmer. It's an archaeological site now which was inhabited around 800 years back. Since then it's much of a ruin only. There are many local and historical stories attached to this place. It's a must visit place if one's around Barmer. People go further to Rann of Ridhana from here which falls on the same route. So quite a few things can be covered once someone is on this route.

Old monuments, which are not properly protected. But you can see a good views here. Real nature beauty , Various type of sparrows, grey ,blue , I have seen and enjoyed their humming sound. And also you can see many peacocks are running around like their home and very beautiful place. And some hill and monuments are damaged and kept aside. You can spend your time evening 4 to 7 for better.

Great tents were provided for us. The cultural program was nice, and the food was good. However, we felt the cultural program could have been a bit more interesting, as we got bored in the middle. It could have been better managed and more engaging. The food was good, and the staff were well-behaved

The camp itself was good, the service and rooms met our expectations. but the big letdown was the traditional dance show. The dancers looked completely uninterested and seemed to just go through the motions. It was obvious they were just waiting for the end of the program so guests would join them on the floor and they could collect tips. that was the only time they showed any enthusiasm. The performance was so lackluster it ruined our evening. Even though they wore traditional clothes, we didn’t see any real traditional dance, just a few seconds of dancing followed by standing around or doing unrelated movements. It definitely didn’t feel authentic or enjoyable.​ ruined our evening. the owners should look into this matter.

If you’re visiting Jaisalmer, the Sam Dunes Desert is an absolute must-see! Located 45 km from the city, it offers an unforgettable desert experience. You can easily book a cab for a round trip, which costs around ₹2300. I highly recommend booking a desert camp in advance for a hassle-free stay. The Sunrise Desert Resort camp we stayed at was only about 10 km from the dunes, and they also arranged for our 4x4 Thar ride to the desert for ₹4500, though prices can be negotiated down from the initial ₹8000. The desert safari package includes a thrilling ride to the desert and offers a variety of activities such as parasailing, camel rides, and desert buggy rides. Keep in mind, though, that all activities are extra. Make sure to pack your own food and drinks, as there are no facilities available once you’re out in the desert. If you’re planning on driving there in your own vehicle, ensure it’s suitable for desert terrain to avoid any issues. Once in the desert, you’ll have about 30 minutes to explore, take photos, and enjoy the surroundings. There are photographers available to capture your moments, with photos and reels costing ₹20 and ₹50 respectively. Upon returning to your camp, a camel ride to the Sunset Point is included in the safari package (about 1.5 km). Be aware, though, that the camel handlers may try to sell you an additional ride into the desert for ₹1500. You can either take it or just enjoy the sunset from the point.
