NO GO For dinner. We ordered 2 veg starters , 2non veg(they skipped 1). The size of the veg starter is designed for 2-3 people. The chicken starter dish was dry, had to request for sauces 3nos. times before I got it.. The mocktail choice needs adjustments, some are impractical to consume. Doubt you guys will last for long sans fine tuning.. Luckily the server forgot to get us one dish and we were happy to have left the place earlier than expected

I recently visited Inorbit Mall, Vashi, and it was a fantastic experience! The mall is a perfect spot for shopping, dining, and spending quality time with friends or family. The first thing I noticed was its spacious layout and peaceful atmosphere, which makes walking around really enjoyable. The interiors are clean, modern, and well-maintained, giving the whole place a refreshing vibe. There are plenty of branded stores to shop from, and the food court offers a wide variety from street-style snacks to popular outlets like KFC and Starbucks. One of the highlights for me was the peaceful walking path outside the mall, where I also came across a small artificial waterfall, a beautiful and calming spot to relax. The mall is well-connected, located right near Vashi station, and provides good parking facilities along with clean and hygienic washrooms, which add to the overall convenience.
Shubham M — Google review
My visit to Inorbit Mall, Vashi was a vibrant and visually delightful experience, especially because the entire mall was beautifully decorated with lights and themed elements. The moment I entered, I was greeted by bright, colorful lighting that instantly lifted the mood. The decorations were thoughtfully designed and placed across every corner of the mall—from the entrance and atrium to the walkways and seating areas. Whether it was festive season décor or a special theme, the combination of lights, props, and creative designs made the mall feel lively and inviting. The central area looked especially stunning, with hanging lights, artistic displays, and photo-friendly setups that attracted many visitors. Families, kids, and friends were happily taking pictures and enjoying the ambiance. The theme extended throughout the mall, creating a continuous experience rather than just a single decorative spot. Each floor had its own charm, and the blend of lights with music created a cheerful atmosphere. Walking around Inorbit felt refreshing, with shops also participating by adding their own decorations and displays. The food court area looked warm and welcoming, filled with lights and festive touches that made dining even more enjoyable. I appreciated how well the mall maintained cleanliness and organized crowd movement despite the large number of visitors. Overall, my visit to Inorbit Mall, Vashi was memorable because of the stunning decorations and the lively theme that transformed the entire mall into a glowing, festive space. It was the perfect place to relax, shop, enjoy food, and soak in the beautifully lit atmosphere.

The mall is within walking distance from Vashi station and is accessible via private cars and autorickshaws. It has various outlets, with the food court on the top floor. The food court's seating area can get bustling during peak meal/snack hours, making it a challenge to find a place to sit and eat. The washroom (we visited the one on the 1st floor) is clean and fairly well-maintained. The security personnel are courteous. In addition to escalators, the mall also has an elevator. Overall, it is a modestly well-maintained place that offers diverse shopping and dining options.
Amaritpal K — Google review
Very convenient: just outside Vashi railway station, which makes it easy to reach by train + road. Parking is available (basement/underground) – users report that parking is fairly adequate for the area. --- 🛍 Shopping & Retail Experience What stands out: A wide variety of brand stores: from fashion (Puma, Levi's), jewellery (Tanishq, Nakshatra) to lifestyle and books. Spacious interior, clean layout, good signage and mall amenities (e.g., maps, elevators/escalators) making it comfortable for a full-day outing. Free WiFi and other facilities listed in mall info. What could improve / note: Some reviewers mention that during weekdays the footfall is lower (shops may feel less lively) – so for the best experience, weekends or peak hours might feel more energetic. With so many brands and floors, it can feel large and getting around might take time if you’re in a hurry. --- 🍴 Dining, Entertainment & Facilities The food court is rated as one of the strong points: many eateries, fast-food chains (McDonald’s, KFC), cafés (Starbucks), as well as full-service dining and themed restaurants. Good for families, groups or a casual meet-up: the mall has entertainment zones / gaming areas as well. Clean and hygienic washrooms, polite security/staff reported by many users. --- ✅ What I Especially Liked Very good one-stop destination: shopping + dining + entertainment all under one roof, which is ideal if you are spending an afternoon or evening out. Excellent location and accessibility – being right by the station helps. Broad retail mix from budget to premium, which works well for different kinds of shoppers. Dining variety and comfort: especially useful when with family or friends. Maintained cleanliness and facilities in general. --- 👎 Areas for Improvement During peak times (weekends / evenings) the food court can get crowded; finding a table might take time. Some of the lesser-frequented brand stores / floors might feel quiet especially on non-peak days, so the “buzz” may vary. If you drive, parking might get full during busy hours; arriving earlier helps. For very luxury-oriented shoppers, while good, it may not match some of the newer ultra-premium malls in terms of latest flagship stores.
Mayur A — Google review
A fantastic place for shopping, dining, and chilling with friends or family! I visited recently and loved the spacious layout, peaceful vibe, and the variety of branded stores. The mall has a clean and modern look, and the food court offers great options—from street-style snacks to big names like KFC and Starbucks. One of the highlights for me was the peaceful walking path outside the mall, and I even saw a small artificial waterfall—beautiful and calming. It’s well-connected, right near Vashi station, with good parking and clean washrooms. If you're in Navi Mumbai, this mall is definitely worth a visit for a complete day-out experience! #inorbit mall #mall #mumbai

Charlotte Lake, also known as Sharlott Lake, is a serene reservoir located 2 kilometers from Matheran Railway Station in Maharashtra. It is a popular tourist destination and a must-visit spot in the best hill station of Maharashtra. The lake is at its fullest during the monsoon season, offering a picturesque view with its small dam and waterfalls. Surrounded by lush green forests, it provides an ideal setting for nature enthusiasts, peace seekers, and bird watchers.
This is probably the best place to spend time with the company of calmness in Matheran. To reach Charlotte Lake, it would require a little trekking following the trail in the wild. The lake is beautiful, totally worth the little trek to reach there. It feels peaceful to sit by the lake especially when you've got good company along with you. It's definitely a must visit place in Matheran.

Charlotte Lake & Lord’s View Point are next to each other. It’s known for the pretty sunsets, there are small stores close by that sell snacks and tea. It’s a small hike for 15min from the main path. It is super safe both at day and night to walk through the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re at Matheran for visit.
Jonah J — Google review
It's a must-visit if you're heading to this beautiful hill station. This serene spot lets you sit quietly by the lake, absorb the tranquility, and truly feel connected to nature. To reach the lake, you'll need to trek a bit through the forest — a refreshing and adventurous experience. While horse rides are also available, the walk through the woods is something you shouldn’t miss. ⚠️ A word of caution: During the monsoon, the path can get slippery, and accidents have happened in the past — so please be careful if you’re visiting during the rains.

Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Large amusement park with rides, water slides, restaurants & an indoor park with artificial snow.
Truly one of the best theme parks in India till date. I visited during the off-season, so there was hardly any crowd—which was a big plus! I got to enjoy some of the top rides like Nitro, Gold Rush, and Deep Space not just once, but two to three times without long waiting lines. These rides are a must-try if you love thrill and adventure. The morning parade brings the park to life with characters and music, and the evening light and water show is a perfect way to end the day—really well done and full of energy. The quality of food inside the park restaurants is also surprisingly good, with decent options for both kids and adults. Overall, it's a complete day of fun, adventure, and entertainment.

Imagica is located at khopoli (approx 2 hours drive from Pune). It has a Theme park and a water park . One day is sufficient to do either of the two. In case one plans to do both; 2 full days are required. The rides are amazing and fun with family/ friends. Tickets can be booked online / offline. There are eateries inside the park. Amada serving amazing pizzas. Red bonnet serving fab burgers. Thali, buffet and jain food is also available. Locker facility available inside the park for your belongings. For water park dry fit attire is necessary. One can change once they r done with the rides. After 6 pm when the rides are closed there is a carnival in the premises. Also the park looks beautiful after sunset because of the lighting and fountains.
Prachi T — Google review
Imagica truly feels magical the moment you enter. Kids and adults enjoy rides equally Water flume ride = guaranteed fun & getting soaked Classic carousel = perfect for kids Indoor shooting ride = friendly competition Evening lighting = breathtaking The lake area becomes a photo-perfect spot after sunset The park is beautifully maintained, vibrant, and designed for family fun. --- ⚠️ Important Note: Crowd & Waiting Time Because we went during the Diwali peak break, the park was fully packed. Popular rides had 60–120 minute waiting Long queues even at food counters Only limited rides could be covered in one day Conclusion: Holiday seasons, long weekends, and school breaks = heavy crowd. --- 🎟️ Most Important Tip: Book EXPRESS Tickets If you’re going during a busy period (Diwali, New Year, summer vacation, long weekends), Express Tickets are strongly recommended. Yes, they cost extra — but they: ✔️ Reduce waiting time by 70–80% ✔️ Let you enjoy more rides ✔️ Save energy (especially with kids) ✔️ Make the trip stress-free Honestly, during festive seasons, Express Pass is the smartest and most valuable choice. --- 🕒 Best Time to Visit Imagica ✔️ Best Days (Less Crowd) Weekdays Non-holiday periods April-end to early June (exam season) 2–3 days after festivals ✔️ Best Time to Reach Park opens at 10:00 AM Recommended arrival: 9:15–9:30 AM (for parking & security) ✔️ Start Your Day With These Rides (shorter lines in morning) Nitro Deep Space Rajasaurus Scream Machine ✔️ Evening Parade & lighting show around 6 PM Lake area is perfect for photos --- 🧭 Planning Tips Before You Go ✔️ Book tickets online 2–3 days earlier ✔️ Carry water bottles, cap, and power bank ✔️ For kids, a stroller is helpful ✔️ Carry a rain poncho in monsoon season ✔️ Outside food is not allowed, but food combos are available inside --- 🏁 Final Verdict — Should You Visit? Absolutely YES! Imagica is one of the best family theme parks in India with amazing rides, beautiful ambiance, and great entertainment. But remember: ✔️ Holiday Season = Heavy crowd ✔️ Express Ticket = Best investment ✔️ Weekdays = Best overall experience Plan smart, go early, and your Imagica trip will turn into an unforgettable memory for your family!

A Magical Day at Imagica, With a Word of Advice! Our family visited Adlabs Imagica on October 21st, and what a day it was! From the moment we walked in, the park felt vibrant. The kids (and adults!) loved the rides. We had a blast getting soaked on the water flume, taking a spin on the classic carousel, and getting competitive on the indoor shooting ride. As evening fell, the park completely transformed with beautiful lights, making the whole place feel truly magical, especially the area around the lake. However, we need to share a very important tip. Our visit coincided with the peak Diwali festival break, and we weren't the only ones with the idea! The park was packed with families, which created a fantastic, festive atmosphere but also meant one thing: a huge rush. This led to a massive number of people in the queues and, as you'd expect, very long waiting times for all the popular rides. We still managed to have a great time and make wonderful memories (the pictures prove it!), but the waiting definitely took up a big part of our day. So, here is our number one piece of advice for anyone planning to visit Imagica during a busy period like Diwali, a long weekend, or any school holiday: It is highly advised to book the Express tickets. It might cost extra, but it will save you hours of standing in line and let you enjoy far more of the amazing attractions the park has to offer. Overall, a fantastic park for family fun, but plan smart during the holidays!

Aqua Imagica is the perfect mix of thrill and fun! The high-speed slides, wave pool, and lazy river make the whole day exciting. The park is clean, well-organized, and the staff is very helpful. Imagica is a really good place to visit with friends and family. Wide variety of rides. Loved deep space ride, it's dark like space with starry ceiling and the speed of 200km/hour the twist and turns will surely challenge your brain equilibrium. Loved it the most. Then nitro roller coaster 160km/hour was amazing too. Gold rush with the speed of 80km/hour is at 3rd rank for me after Deep space and nitro. I for india, Mr india, salimghadh/ banghadh, were good too. Dead drop was a slight disappointing. Chota Bheem ride for kids, sloch monster were good for kids. Dancer / performer's were good treat. The water fountain show at the end of the day was soothing.

Food options are good and there are plenty of places to relax in between rides. A great place to enjoy with friends and family definitely worth the trip!

Pawna Lake, a stunning artificial reservoir nestled in the heart of Maharashtra's Sahyadri mountain range, is an idyllic retreat for those looking to escape the chaos of urban life. Just a short drive from Pune and Mumbai, this serene lake is perfect for camping, picnics, and photography enthusiasts eager to capture its breathtaking views. The area also boasts nearby historical sites like fortress ruins that add a touch of adventure to your visit.
My friends and I visited this place recently. The first thing that you will notice once you are there is the beautiful water of the lake. The place was really quiet and filled with nice bird 🕊️ sounds. There are multiple camps set up at the side of the lake. At the camps there were many activities such as badminton, cricket, caram board, chess, archery, etc. also there were boat rides inside the lake. The sunset at the lake was a must watch thing. The only thing was the worst of the place was food as there were no food stalls and the camp we stayed in didn't provide us good food. Which was only bummer. Rest all was great. I would really recommend this place for couples, family and friends. Also it can be a good spot for a picnic. All and all had a great time. NOTE: Carry something dry to eat as there is no shop near the place of camp.

Best for Camp piece full place enjoy and relax. It is a very good place, you will get good roads to reach there, you may have to climb a little mountain, it is good for nature activities, you just have to find a good camp which is near the lake, you can also take a bath in it

Perfect place to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. Boating on the lake was an amazing experience — calm waters and breathtaking scenery all around. Pawna Lake: Beautiful, yes, but monsoon is the best time to visit! The water is a stunning blue from above, then silent and peaceful when you walk to the edge. 🌅 Sunset is a must-see! 🛶 Enjoy a boat ride or try kayaking. An unforgettable experience!

📍 Pawna Lake – Maharashtra’s Most Loved Camping Spot! ⛺🌌 If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside escape with starry nights, crackling bonfires, and pure mountain vibes — Pawna Lake is your perfect getaway. Just 2 hours from Pune and 3 hours from Mumbai, this serene lake is surrounded by forts, greenery, and scenic hills. 🏞️ I visited Pawna recently, and I can confidently say — it’s one of the best chill spots to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature or your people 🧘‍♂️✨ --- 🛏️ Camping Experience The best way to enjoy Pawna is to stay overnight in a tent. Most campsites offer a full package — including dinner, BBQ, breakfast, music, games, and sometimes kayaking or boating. 🔥 Imagine this: Bonfire + friends + music + stargazing + sound of water = perfect night vibes! Tents are usually lakeside and come with sleeping mats, pillows, and common clean washrooms. (Pro tip: Check reviews before booking!) --- 🍽️ Food & BBQ The typical dinner includes veg/non-veg thali with chapati, rice, dal, and sabji. Some camps offer BBQ starters like paneer tikka or chicken kababs. Nothing fancy — but fresh, local, and satisfying under the stars! 😋🌌 ☕ Don’t forget the evening tea and morning poha – simple but soulful. --- 🛶 Things to Do Around Pawna: ✔️ Chill by the lake with your feet in the water ✔️ Enjoy boating or kayaking at select camps ✔️ Play outdoor games – volleyball, cricket, archery ✔️ Visit nearby forts: Tung, Tikona, Lohagad, Visapur 🏯 ✔️ Ride around scenic roads for cool photo spots 📸 --- 🗺️ How to Reach: From Pune: Via Paud Road or Old Mumbai-Pune Highway From Mumbai: Via Lonavala (exit at Kamshet) 4-wheelers and bikes easily accessible. Roads are okay, but a bit patchy near the lake — drive slowly. --- 📝 My Tips: 🔹 Book a campsite with good reviews (some allow pets too!) 🔹 Carry warm clothes – it gets cold at night, even in summer 🔹 Don’t play loud music after 10 PM – respect the silence 🔹 Bring a power bank & flashlight 🔋 🔹 Avoid monsoon if you don’t like muddy areas --- 🔥 My Opinion: Pawna Lake is not just about water and tents — it’s an experience. You disconnect from the noise and connect with peace. Whether you're going with friends, your partner, or solo, the calm vibes and natural beauty leave you feeling refreshed.

This is one of most authentic South Indian/ Iyengar style temple in Pune. The aura and vibes are amazing in this temple. The puja style and philosophy followed is Pancharatra way of worshipping Lord Venkateswara. In the main temple we find Lord Venkateswara as the main deity with his consort Padmavati. Next to Venkateswara, we have the divine presence of Lakhmi Narasimha and Lakshmi Hayagreevaa. In the compound we also have sannidhi of Chakratalvaar / Lord Sudarshana, Lord Hanuman, Lord Sita Rama along with Lakshmana, Lord Ganesha and Godadevi. Priests conduct the puja in a very elaborate and follow every custom and paddathi according to our agama shastras. Very proud that our culture is being preserved and followed and passed on. We feel the absolute divine energy in this temple.

Wonderful beach, I went there with my family. There was no rush at all. It was a very clean beach. There were some food stalls. There were some rides I enjoyed a jet ski ride. But there was not a changing room. So, my concern is that they should provide at least a common changing room for females. Otherwise, the overall beach was nice. There was a temple also. One more thing, there are no life gaurds for safety. May they be available at season to season.

Harihareshwar Beach is one of those hidden gems on the Konkan coast that offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, spirituality, and tranquility. Whether you're looking to unwind, explore, or just escape the chaos of city life, this beach is a refreshing retreat. The beach is clean, uncrowded, and peaceful, especially compared to more commercialized destinations. The sound of the waves, the soft golden sand, and the view of the surrounding hills make it a perfect spot to relax and reflect. One of the unique aspects of Harihareshwar is its spiritual vibe, thanks to the Harihareshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located right next to the beach. The pradakshina path around the temple, which circles the rocky coastline, offers a scenic walk – best done during low tide. Sunrises and sunsets here are magical. There are also local homestays and small resorts nearby that offer a comfortable stay and homely food, giving you an authentic coastal experience.

Nestled atop a stunning hilltop plateau, Fort Raigad is an ancient marvel that beckons travelers with its rich history and breathtaking views. Once the capital of the Maratha kingdom under Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, this fort stands at an impressive altitude of around 2700 feet in the Western Ghats. Accessible via a single path, it features fascinating ruins of towers, temples, and reservoirs that tell tales of a bygone era.
Jay Shivrai 🙏🏻 Raigad Fort is one of the most iconic and historically important forts in Maharashtra. The place truly brings to life the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The fort is located on a hill surrounded by beautiful valleys, and the view from the top is simply breathtaking. You can either trek up or take the ropeway, which saves time and offers a great aerial view. The fort is well-maintained, and places like Jagdishwar Temple, Shivaji Maharaj’s Samadhi, and the royal court area are must-see spots. Every corner has a story connected to the Maratha Empire. It’s best to visit early in the morning or in winter to avoid the heat. Local guides are available and help you understand the fort’s history better. There are also small food stalls and a museum near the base that add to the overall experience. Overall, Raigad is not just a tourist spot but a proud reminder of our heritage. A must-visit for anyone who loves history, nature, and the spirit of Shivaji Maharaj.

The moment you start the climb, you can feel the history and the strength of this place. The views from the top are breathtaking — endless green valleys, cool breeze, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes the entire effort worth it. The fort is well-maintained, and the ropeway option makes it convenient for anyone who wants to save time or energy. The historical spots like the Queen’s Chamber, Jagdishwar Temple, and the Coronation Point of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj truly make you imagine how grand the fort must have been in its era. Overall, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone who loves trekking, history, and scenic landscapes. I’d definitely recommend Raigad Fort to every traveler exploring Maharashtra.

Don’t miss Jagadishwar Temple and Shivaji Maharaj’s samadhi point.Recommend carrying water, wearing good shoes, and visiting during monsoon or winter for the best experience. Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

This is a well known fort for the Great Maratha Hindu king Sri Chatrapati Shiva Maharaj from where he had ruled the kingdom. At present some part of the fort still available in good shape.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.

Rajgad Fort, a historical hilltop fortress located about 60 kilometers from Pune, is a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts and history buffs alike. Once the capital of the Maratha kingdom under Shivaji's rule for 26 years, this majestic fort offers stunning views and remnants of its glorious past, including palace ruins and ancient caves. Visiting Rajgad in the monsoon is like stepping into a mystical world—lush green hills, mist rolling over the ancient fort walls, and the entire landscape comes alive with a vibrant, divine energy. The fort’s massive stone walls and historical structures, surrounded by the monsoon-fed greenery, give a deep sense of connection to history and nature. Visiting the fort during the monsoon is a breathtaking experience—the hills turn lush green, mist drifts over the ancient ramparts, and the entire landscape feels alive with divine energy. The massive stone walls, bastions, and historic remnants echo the valor, wisdom, and spirit of the Maratha warriors. Rajgad is not just a destination for trekkers and history enthusiasts; it is a place that inspires a deep spiritual connection, reminding every visitor of the courage and vision that shaped the Maratha Empire. Jay Bhavani, Jay Shivray!

Rajgad should be the first in life at least once. Chhatrapati Shivarai spent 25 years of his life in this fort. While walking on the fort, we feel like Maharaj... Those walls, fortifications, machi all of them have been touched by Maharaj while walking around the fort. I traveled very happily for 12 hours continuously and was not tired at all, maybe it was the greatness of Maharaja's Rajgad that I didn't feel tired at all... The fun of staying at the fort was unique and the sunrise at Suvela Machi was the first or the world more beautiful than this. realize that nothing is
Viju M — Google review
Rajgad Fort is one of the most beautiful and historic forts in Maharashtra. It was the first capital of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Swarajya, which makes it very important in Maratha history. The fort is huge and spread out with strong walls, gates, and watch points. The view from the top is breathtaking – you can see lush green valleys, mountains, and nearby forts like Torna. The trekking experience is amazing but a bit challenging, especially in the rainy season when the fort is covered with fog and greenery. Carry enough water and snacks because the climb can take time. Overall, Rajgad Fort is a perfect place for history lovers, trekkers, and nature enthusiasts. Visiting it feels like going back into the glorious Maratha era.

Rajgad Fort is not just stones—it’s where Shivaji Maharaj lived, fought, and dreamed. The 3-4 hour trek through stunning Sahyadri hills made me feel the living spirit of our maharaj. Meeting a fellow trekker from Pune who shared the same love for this place made it even more special. Rajgad is our proud heritage, alive in every tree and rock. Everyone must visit to truly feel our history in their hearts.
Om K — Google review
There are 2 ways to go to Rajgad fort 1) drive to the place, and 2) trek If one has time and wants some real adventure, I would suggest trek. Difficulty level is moderate but it’s fun. Will take 1.5-2 hrs to reach to the fort

Murud Beach, situated in the Dapoli taluk of Ratnagiri, offers a picturesque setting for beach activities and stunning sunset views. The soft sand and gentle waves make it ideal for swimming and water sports such as parasailing, banana rides, and sofa rides. Visitors can also embark on early morning boat tours to catch glimpses of dolphins frolicking in the sea.
Best beach for stay, food and fun activities 🏖️

Beach is a perfect destination for families and kids. The beach is clean, peaceful, and less crowded, making it a great place to relax. Beach-facing stays are available, adding to the experience. The calm atmosphere and natural beauty make it an ideal getaway. Must visit with highly recommended!

Murud Beach is another wonderful coastal destination in the Raigad district of Maharashtra, India. This beach is known for its golden sands, gentle waves, and the historic Murud Janjira Fort situated just off the coast. Visitors can relax on the beach, take a boat ride to explore the fort, or indulge in water sports like parasailing and banana boat rides. It's a great place to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Arabian Sea.
Sweetie K — Google review
Murud Beach is perfect if you're looking for a mix of relaxation and activity. It’s a wide, sandy beach with enough space to walk, play, or just chill by the waves. The water is usually clean, and the beach is well-maintained, especially near the main entrance areas. You’ll find decent washroom facilities close to the parking zones — they’re usable, though not always spotless. Getting here is simple via road; it’s well-connected from Alibaug and nearby towns. For stays, there are plenty of hotels and homestays nearby, ranging from budget to premium. Evenings get a bit lively with stalls, horse rides, and families enjoying themselves, so it’s not too quiet — but not overly crowded either. If you're planning a short beach getaway, Murud won't disappoint.
Aadesh J — Google review
*Update : As tourism grows, ignorant tourists have started running the beach. Check my timelapse video to see the filth! Beautiful Beach with water sport activities available. This beach also is supposed to be the safest on the coast with no rocks and a long stretch which doesn't go deeper than 4 feet for quiet much distance. The village has its committee that cleans the beach regularly and thats why they charge daily toll to the tourists.
Nikhil G — Google review
Clean beach, happy to see people respecting hygiene and not littering everywhere. Crowded: there are more people here as compared to other beaches of Dapoli. Water sports: not much, the waves do not support surfing Rides : Camel, horse cart, banana rides, boat rides, speed boat available here with average safety and hygiene standards. Food: saw many restaurants around the beach. Not so great option for full course meal but tea and snacks options are available. Parking: saw people parking at the beach. To avoid hustle, we parked about 50 meters before the beach in a resort parking (charged 100 rs per car)

This place is very awesome. We went to this beach from our cottage on karde beach in about 10 minutes. In Dapoli this beach is more crowded than any other beaches. You can perform water activities here like para sailing, banana ride, sofa ride. We went to this place at evening to watch sunset and it was awesome view. You can have variety of snacks at this beach. We eated kokan special ukdiche Modak and ghawan chatney at nearby stall. One thing I observed here is local people are very polite and friendly.

Avinash S — Google review
We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

Amazing journey, must visit in monsoon. But avoid night driving, visibility is very low in night. Can't see even 20 meter ahead. Otherwise it's just like experiencing heaven in monsoon.

The place is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Maharashtra. Surrounded by lush greenery, scenic valleys, and pleasant weather almost all year round, it’s perfect for a peaceful getaway. The viewpoints like Arthur’s Seat and Kate’s Point are stunning. However, weekends can get crowded and parking is sometimes a hassle. Still, a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers.

My recent trip to Mahabaleshwar was truly an unforgettable experience and easily one of the most refreshing holidays I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we arrived, the climate was absolutely perfect — cool, breezy, and soothing, just the way Mahabaleshwar is known for. The pleasant weather itself set the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Table Land, a vast stretch of flat plateau offering breathtaking views and a calm, open atmosphere. Standing there, surrounded by nature and fresh air, felt incredibly peaceful. We also spent time at Mapro Garden, which was vibrant, lively, and filled with the aroma of fresh strawberries. Their products, food court, and greenery added a fun and refreshing touch to the day. Exploring the Mahabaleshwar market was another memorable experience. From local snacks and fresh produce to handicrafts and souvenirs, the market had a charming, traditional vibe that made strolling through it truly enjoyable. The viewpoints were equally captivating. Parsi Point offered stunning valley views that felt almost surreal, while Elephant Head Point stood out with its unique natural rock formation and scenic beauty. Each spot had its own charm and added a different flavor to the trip. Overall, this holiday was the perfect mix of nature, sightseeing, relaxation, and pleasant weather. Every moment felt soothing, refreshing, and memorable. Mahabaleshwar truly gave us an all-in-one holiday experience that I would happily relive anytime. 🌄✨

The cool climate, lush greenery, and panoramic viewpoints like Arthur’s Seat, Elephant’s Head Point, and Wilson Point make it a must-visit destination. The strawberry farms are a sweet bonus—don’t miss trying the fresh strawberries with cream! The town also has some beautiful temples and the historic Pratapgad Fort nearby for those interested in culture and history. Roads are well maintained, though it can get crowded during peak season. Plenty of good food options and cozy stays. Overall, a perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy nature!

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

👌✨Mahabaleshwar – Monsoon Bliss in the Hills! I visited Mahabaleshwar during the monsoon season, and it was one of the most refreshing experiences ever! The lush green hills covered in mist, cool breezy weather, and light drizzles made every moment magical. The clean, fresh mountain air instantly lifts your mood. Street food like hot corn, vada pav, and fresh strawberries made the rainy weather even more enjoyable. Local people are warm, polite, and always ready to help. Driving through the winding ghats was thrilling with scenic valley views at every turn. Whether you're a nature lover, a couple looking for peace, or a photographer — this place has something for everyone. The sound of waterfalls, the foggy viewpoints, and the calm vibes offer pure peace of mind. Highly recommended for a monsoon getaway that’s full of nature, flavor, and soulful moments!...✨🎊

Visited yesterday. This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

Venna Lake is an ideal combination of nature, leisure, and light adventure, making it a must-see destination for families, couples, and solo visitors. There is no entry cost; you only pay for activities like as boats and rides. A tranquil lakeside surrounded by green hills, ideal for wandering, photography, and relaxing. Plenty of parking accessible near the entrance.

⭐ Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) Venna Lake, Panchgani is an average tourist spot — good for a one-time visit, but not something you’d want to return to. The lake itself looks nice from a distance, but it’s extremely crowded, especially on weekends. You often have to wait for hours just to get a boat ride, and the entrance area gets very chaotic. During the rainy season, the place becomes filthy and muddy, and the hygiene is below average. The nearby horse stand adds to the mess — the area is dirty and full of people constantly chasing you for rides. They charge around ₹200 for just 500 meters, which is absolutely not worth it. Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.
Ambkumar — Google review
It is one of the most scenic attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Great for boat rides while watching the sunset. We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

Pandavgad , Wai and nearby villages ( previously known as Viratnagari as per Indian Mythology )at the eastern part of plateu 2.Kamalgad at the western part of plateu 3.Dhom dam at the western part of plateu Table land is the great place for people who enjoy long walk, running, playing ground sports. Table land turns more beautiful from 20 September to 11 October every year as this is flowering period of many wild flowering plants found in western ghats .

"We visited this place for the first time and weren’t sure how much area there was to explore. At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. If you enjoy horse riding, you can try it—but it’s quite expensive and not really necessary. The natural beauty here is excellent, especially at Table Point. Sunrise and sunset views are truly worth it!"

6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Wonderful geological structure which encompasses so much beauty around it that people simply get attracted towards it to relish in the beauty of this flat land. Walk on the table land, ride the horse cart or horse back, appreciate the landforms, observe the flora and fauna, click some memorable pictures and be grateful and feel lucky that you visited such a wonderful natural formation...
ECLECTIC A — Google review
Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

Kaas Plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located in the Satara district of Maharashtra, is a stunning plateau formed from volcanic rocks. This picturesque destination is known for its vibrant wildflowers that bloom from September to October, creating a colorful carpet of natural beauty. The plateau receives heavy rainfall and gusty winds during the monsoon season, making it an ideal time to witness the breathtaking display of flowers. Many of these wildflowers are medicinal and unique to this area.
A must-visit natural wonder and a truly spectacular floral tapestry. A rare and precious ecological gem. Date of Visit: Mid-September (Peak Bloom Season) Purpose: Nature and Macro Photography The Experience: A Floral Masterpiece Kaas Plateau, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site, fully lives up to its title as the 'Valley of Flowers of Maharashtra.' The experience is genuinely breathtaking. The barren lateritic plateau, which is dry for most of the year, is magically carpeted by an astonishing variety of wildflowers during the short post-monsoon window. What Makes it Special: The Floral Diversity: It’s not just one color—the plateau shifts hues daily. We saw vast stretches of the delicate yellow Smithia (often called the 'Mickey Mouse flower'), vibrant purple-pink Impatiens, tiny white Eriocaulon, and even unique carnivorous plants like Drosera Indica. For nature lovers and botanists, it is an absolute treasure trove, home to over 850 species, many of which are endemic. The Ambiance: The cool, misty weather typical of the late monsoon season enhances the entire atmosphere. Walking on the designated trails through the rolling hills, with the Kaas Lake glittering in the distance, is an experience of profound peace and natural beauty. The Conservation Effort: The local authorities have done an excellent job of protecting this fragile ecosystem. The strict rules—staying only on marked trails and the mandatory online booking with visitor limits—are necessary and appreciated for preserving the environment.

Must visit if you are in Maharashtra.

A must visit World Heritage site..! I visited in second week of September. Drive on ghat road is very scenic. Stay overnight to enjoy the calmness and feel those energetic vibes of nature ir can be done in a day as well. Booked morning slot of 7 to 11 and reached parking area. Ample parking and food options both veg and non veg. Takes around 2 hours to roam around and admire the nature.

We went there on the last day of the season after most flowers have withered, yet the place was heavenly. The crowd was almost non existent. The meadows were carpeted golden yellow. The staff was very cooperative and the facilities were good . A bus picks you up from the parking lot to the gates , from where an electric buggy drops you off inside . Here you are free to walk around and enjoy the park . The breeze was cooled and the the park was a lush green which made it a beautiful experience.

It's good, it's a land of 10 Sq Km. Having 800+ species of plants , different types of flowering plants are covered in huge areas. The plateau is formed by volcanic rock. The best time to visit this area is from post June to the mid September to experience nature. We visited in mid October and found a few flowers. We can call it wild plants. Visitors who stay past 4:30 p.m. often have a better chance of spotting wild animals, as many species become more active during the late afternoon.

Ganpatipule Beach is a stunning destination that beautifully combines natural beauty with cultural significance. Nestled next to a revered Hindu temple, this white-sand beach offers visitors an array of activities, from thrilling water sports to leisurely strolls along the shore. The area is dotted with snack vendors, ensuring you can indulge in local treats while soaking up the sun. Accommodations near Ganpatipule Beach boast impressive amenities such as clean swimming pools and spacious rooms that are meticulously maintained.
Scenic and peaceful: The beach is noted for its clean, bright sand and the backdrop of lush green hills adjoining the sea — a refreshing escape from city bustle. Close to landmark: The famous Ganapatipule Temple (a self-manifested Ganesha shrine) is right near the beach, adding a cultural/spiritual layer to the outing. Good mix of relaxation + activity: You can lounge and soak up views, and there are also water sports / rides available for fun. What could be improved Crowds can build up, especially during festival times or peak season — if you want solitude, choose early morning or off-peak days. Swimming may require caution: Some sections have rip currents and sudden drop-offs, so keep an eye on safety. Being a popular destination, parts of the beach may have more commercial activity (food stalls, water-rides) which might detract slightly from a completely “untouched” feel. Tips for your visit Visit during morning or evening for best light, calmer crowds and soothing views. Bring footwear for walking on sand — midday sun can warm the sand significantly. If you plan on water sports, check pricing in advance and ensure the equipment looks well maintained. For a more relaxed vibe, explore slightly off-the-main-strip beach sections where there are fewer stalls. Don’t forget your camera! The juxtaposition of sea, sand, coconut palms and the temple makes some beautiful photo opportunities. --- Conclusion: If you’re looking for a beach in Maharashtra that offers natural beauty + a cultural twist + the chance for leisurely fun, Ganapatipule Beach is an excellent choice. Just pick your time wisely, respect the sea, and you’ll have a memorable visit.

Beach is not as clean as we expect, and that’s obvious due to crowd and number of stalls & local vendors. There are water sports activities also. But as you move ahead a bit towards MTDC that stretch of beach is so peaceful and relaxing but again it’s not that much clean and tourist friendly, you can walk or stay and relax post sunset.
Abhishek P — Google review
Ganpatipule Beach is one of the cleanest and most serene beaches I've seen! The beach is very clean and neat, and the rule of no entry after 9 PM helps maintain its pristine condition. I had the advantage of staying at the PWD Rest House, which had direct access to the beach, making my 2-day stay even more enjoyable. The stunning sunset views and peaceful atmosphere made it perfect for relaxation. A must-visit destination for anyone looking for a tranquil beach experience!
Sahil — Google review
One of the awesome and clean beaches. The shallow waters help to enjoy more. Less crowded and long beach is really good to enjoy with friends and family. You should never forget to witness the golden hours at the beach.
Pravash D — Google review
However, the experience is let down significantly by the lack of cleanliness, especially near the main temple and food stall area. The sand and the access paths have noticeable litter, which is disappointing for such a spiritual and naturally beautiful place. The facilities (like public restrooms, if available) could also use a major upgrade and better upkeep. Overall, it's a good destination for a pilgrimage or a short visit to enjoy the view and the unique temple, but don't expect a pristine, resort-style beach experience. It has incredible potential that is currently hampered by poor maintenance and waste management.
Shubham K — Google review

One of the beautiful, spectacular beach in Konkan region. Ganpatipule beach is a well maintained & facilitated beach with cleanliness & clear sea water, right at Shri Ganpatipule Mandir 🫧 . Enjoy your splash in the sea to get soothing massaging effect & experience relaxed body. Water is clean & clear, no crabs or any sea animal disturbance & it's neither crowdy. If you are visiting Ganpatipule Mandir, you have also arrived at adventurous beauty. Yes, beach has got many water activities like : 1. Family Dragon Ride - Easy 2. Bumper Ride - Mid thrill 3. Banana Ride - Thriller 4. Spinning Wheel Ride - Most thrilling 5. Jet Ski Water rides are also highly recommended as they are super fun & you get to see mesmerizing view of sea & greenish blue sea water as they take deep. Every ride is worth a penny. If you take entire package of rides, it would cost around ₹800, could be bargained more if you more folks. Single ride would cost ₹200 per person. Best time to visit is during early morning after 7 AM to enjoy cool sea water & it's view with water activities. Divine peace by the sea — A spiritual gem of Konkan The Ganpatipule Mandir is not just a temple; it’s an experience of devotion, serenity, and natural beauty beautifully woven together. Located right on the stunning Konkan coastline, this ancient temple of Lord Ganesha holds a divine energy that calms the heart the moment you step foot inside. The temple itself is unique — the self-manifested idol (Swayambhu Ganpati) faces the west, unlike most temples, and directly overlooks the vast Arabian Sea. The rhythmic sound of waves merges with the temple’s chants, creating an atmosphere that feels sacred and peaceful beyond words. Whether you visit early in the morning during aarti or in the evening at sunset, the energy here feels pure and powerful. The surroundings are breathtaking — golden sands, clear blue sea, and green hills in the backdrop make Ganpatipule not only a spiritual destination but also a natural paradise. The temple premises are well-maintained and very clean, with proper facilities for devotees. The management has done a commendable job preserving both its sanctity and cleanliness, even with large crowds during weekends and festivals. The road leading to the temple is scenic, and you’ll find small stalls offering modaks, coconuts, and souvenirs. The local people are warm and humble, always ready to help or share stories of the temple’s history. The nearby Ganpatipule Beach adds to the charm — it’s peaceful, safe, and perfect for a quiet walk after darshan. What makes this place truly special is the sense of calm and connection it offers. You don’t just visit Ganpatipule; you feel it — in the sound of the sea, in the faith of devotees, and in the presence of Lord Ganesha himself. A visit here is not just a religious trip but a soulful journey. Whether you seek blessings, peace, or just a break from the chaos of life, Ganpatipule Mandir is a must-visit spiritual haven of Maharashtra.

The Ganpatipule temple houses a Swayambhu (self-manifested) idol of Lord Ganesha, believed to have emerged naturally from the earth around four centuries ago. This Temple beautifully marries devotion, architecture, and nature. Whether you’re seeking spiritual peace, architectural beauty, or seaside tranquility, it invites you to immerse in its calm charm. Ideal for families, solo spiritual seekers, or anyone exploring the Konkan coast. ☘️

Shri Ganpatipule Mandir, one of the Ashtvinayak mandir🛕is right at the beach offering a beautifull sea beach view 🌊. It is fenced to avoid direct exit to beach, ensuring safety for kids. Outer mandir premise is peaceful & has good boundary seating, photography is allowed outside. Photography is not allowed, inside the mandir. Ganesh idol is of saffron colour & is midsized. Darshan was easy & it was less crowded during evening hours. Mandir also has got lighting in the evening. During my visit in Diwali, prasad facility was undergoing rework. Pathway to Mandir is well-managed. The initial footwear dropping area is slightly far & you may have to walk barefoot for 100 metres till the final entry.

Serene place and a must visit for Ganesh devotees. The USP of the place is its approximate to the beach. Cleanliness is priority. You can have prasad at 7:30 pm, and mandir closes at around 9:00 pm after aarti.

Nestled in the heart of Kolhapur, the Shri Ambabai Temple, also known as the Mahalaxmi Temple, is a stunning 12th-century Hindu shrine that captivates visitors with its intricate sculptures and rich history. Revered as one of the Shakti Peethas or Dakshin Kashi, this temple holds immense spiritual significance for devotees seeking liberation from desires or fulfillment of their wishes.
Beautiful and divine temple with rich history. The idol of Ambabai is mesmerizing and the atmosphere inside is very peaceful. Well-maintained and clean. Gets very crowded on weekends and festivals, so early morning darshan is best. Parking can be difficult near the temple. Overall, a must-visit spiritual place in Kolhapur.
Bharati G — Google review
-Get down at main entrance, we mistakenly had dropped down backside gate. -Senior citizens are allowed to sit in the entrance if any large queue was there. -Inside temple, womens are separately in queues to have Darshan as its Mahalaxmi Temple. -Drinking water facility available when you come out of Darshan. -Several shops available inside for shopping devotional items. -Peda Prasad nearby exit of Darshan is the cheap and best which was sold by local guys. -Also, Laddu Prasad sold by Temple committee. -Best part is free Bhojanalaya as like in Shirdi was available and taste was very good. (Variety Rice, sabhji, butter milk, sweet.) -Timing 12PM to 3PM -This is located in backside of temple which is of 50m distance from temple. -Free Tokens are given in main entrance and backside gate. -Volunteers/Members inside Bhojanalaya strictly instructs all devotees to not waste food. One should complete his/her food and allowed to get up for handwash. - Plates for children were asked there parents before giving in order avoid wastage of food. - But this Bhojanalaya is present in 1st floor, which is a very big minus point for those where not able to step up. - Footwears are to be kept outside Bhojanalaya.

Beautiful and very very old temple. Powerful vibes can be experienced. Crowded throughout the day. We had gone in the afternoon and early morning and both times the temple was crowded. We were blessed to have a security officer help us out of the blue as my mom couldnt stand and wait in the queue for long hours. Once inside you can feel the essence of an old temple and the idol is so so mesmerising! Truly blessed to have got a chance to visit the divine Mahalaxmi!

"The Mahalakshmi Ambabai Temple is one of the three and a half Shakti Peethas. 🛕 We reached the temple at 5:00 AM, and the early morning time, the pleasant atmosphere, and witnessing the goddess's worship and aarti made our hearts feel completely serene. 😊🌸 There is very little crowd at the temple in the morning, and this is when you get the good fortune of witnessing the goddess's worship and aarti. ☺️ Therefore, you should definitely visit the temple during the morning hours. 😊"

Sights & Landmarks
Sindhudurg Fort, located in Malvan, Maharashtra, is a 17th-century fortress accessible by ferry. The fort stands as a testament to the power of the Maratha empire and took around 30 years to be completed. Situated on a small island, it offers timed self-guided tours with sea views and is known for its historical significance. The fort's remarkable finesse and scenic location make it an enchanting attraction for tourists interested in India's rich history and historical monuments.
I visited this place with my mom last year, and despite the entry fees, the serene environment made it well worth the trip. The boat ride, however, is limited to 45 minutes, which can feel a bit rushed if you want to explore every nook and cranny of the fort. We did manage to visit the Shivaji temple, and the structure itself is truly incredible. If you're looking for peace and a glimpse into history, this place is definitely worth a visit!
Janhavi R — Google review
Sindhudurg Fort was built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to secure from attacks thru sea. It is a wonder on the sea. To visit the fort, it needs travelling in boat. Boats are plenty. It takes roughly 1.5 to 2 hrs to see the fort from inside. Very good guides are available on main fort gate. They give complete info with related history. Apart from huge construction, Shri Shivaji Maharaj temple, his foot print & hand print on the rocks, water supply arrangements, buruj (protection wall), etc are the attractions. There are food joints, clean toilets, sign boards etc inside. Newly installed idol of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is there in the sea water nearby. Outside, there is big parking area. One has to buy ferry boat ticket and then go. Normally there is heavy rush here. We were fortunate to experience calm and quiet surroundings.

Sindhudurg Fort is a true gem of Maharashtra’s heritage, built by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj right in the middle of the sea. The location itself is breathtaking — surrounded by blue waters, accessible by a short boat ride from Malvan. The fort’s massive stone walls, secret passages, and the temple dedicated to Shivaji Maharaj inside make it a fascinating experience for history lovers. You also get a stunning panoramic view of the Arabian Sea from the fort walls — perfect for photography. Don’t forget to explore the nearby Tarkarli beach and enjoy authentic Malvani seafood!

Recently we visited this place. This is the one of the oldest monument and pride of Maharashtra buit by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. It requires to go by boat which takes around 15-20 minutes and costs 100 rs per head. It takes around 2 hrs to visit whole fort. The fort is properly maintained and clean. Some temples, museums are also there. Washroom facility is provided which is very clean. You will get cold drinks and some food items stalls available there.

Please take help from the guide to understand historical details of the fort. They stay there and are the descendants of Maratha soliders who fought for us. Every rupees paid to them was worth. They deserve our respect for carrying on the Maratha legacy. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ki Jai!

Arambol Beach, located in the small village of Arambol in Goa, is a hidden gem waiting to be explored. This beach offers golden sands, gentle waves, and visitor facilities such as eateries and snack stands. Known for its lively flea market, hippie culture, and exciting nightlife, Arambol Beach also provides opportunities for adventure sports like paragliding and kitesurfing.
I really enjoyed my time at Arambol Beach in North Goa. It’s a peaceful and beautiful place with silver sand and some rocks. The beach is very green and relaxing. On weekends, I visited a busy market. If you like adventure, you can try paragliding. I also visited Paliem Lake at the end of the beach, which was really pretty. The Banyan Tree nearby is famous because The Beatles once meditated there. I would love to go back someday.

Arambol Beach is a vibrant, bohemian-style beach in North Goa, India, known for its golden sands, calm waters, and lively atmosphere popular with international tourists. Visitors can enjoy various activities, including paragliding, dolphin watching, swimming, and visiting the local market. The beach is also famous for its relaxed vibe, with yoga sessions, drum circles at sunset, beach shacks, live music, and a sweet water lake nearby
Arun — Google review
Arambol, located in the northernmost stretch before Querim Beach, is North Goa’s bohemian heartland, celebrated for its unique, laid-back vibe and arts scene. The main beach boasts a vast, golden stretch of sand with gentle slopes and negligible currents, making it exceptionally safe for swimming. It’s framed by low cliffs and lush greenery, providing a truly picturesque coastal escape. The beach's main draw lies just north: a picturesque path leads over the cliff to Kalacha Beach and the Arambol Sweet Water Lake. This shallow freshwater lagoon, fed by natural hot springs, sits right beside the Arabian Sea, offering a tranquil place to swim or enjoy therapeutic mud baths. The adjacent jungle trail also leads to the famous Banyan Tree, a hub for meditation and spiritual gatherings. Arambol comes alive with a thriving, upbeat culture, featuring daily sunset drum circles, lively markets, and numerous yoga retreats. The best time to immerse yourself in this atmosphere is from November to March, when the weather is cool and pleasant for outdoor activities, live music, and exploring the makeshift artisan stalls. This destination caters perfectly to backpackers, artists, and wellness seekers looking for an authentic, alternative Goan experience away from commercialized crowds. It is an ideal spot to relax, explore nature, and partake in unique community gatherings, distinguishing it from other nearby beaches.

Arambol Beach is more than just a destination—it’s an experience. Whether you're dancing at sunset, meditating by the lake, or sipping chai with fellow travelers, it offers a soulful escape from the ordinary. be it morning, noon or evening - food on the beach is the best. just be sure you don't engage with the walking vendors - they will sell you 20Rs items for 200Rs.😆

Very chill vibe with mutiple shack around (delicious food with soothing waves sound). I recommend sitting there have some food and enjoy the vibe.
Ankit K — Google review
Tucked between lush hills and the golden sands of Arambol Beach, the Sweet Water Lake is one of Goa’s most magical hidden gems. Surrounded by swaying coconut trees and a peaceful forest vibe, it’s the perfect spot for a quiet swim or just to float and unwind. The water is calm, clean, and surprisingly warm — with a gentle mix of fresh spring water flowing in. The walk to the lake from the beach is a mini adventure through rocky paths and quirky local stalls, which adds to its offbeat charm. Unlike crowded beaches, the lake offers a more relaxed, almost spiritual atmosphere. You’ll often find travelers doing yoga, meditating, or simply soaking in the calm — it’s a true escape from the usual tourist buzz. Rating: 5/5 💧 Clean, warm freshwater 🌴 Surrounded by nature 🚶‍♀️ Scenic walk to reach 🧘‍♀️ Perfect for peace, yoga, and floating therapy 📸 Highly Instagrammable

While this beach is fantastic, it has now become too crowded thanks to Instagram. Loads of uncles and staring boys. Not so couple friendly anymore.
Anshu K — Google review
Arambol beach is not as good as people say online. I visited Arambol Beach in July during the monsoon after seeing so many good reviews. But honestly, it was very disappointing. The beach is way up north, so it takes a long time to reach if you’re staying in Candolim area or Central Goa. The road to the beach is also in bad condition, full of potholes. For a state that depends so much on tourism, decent roads is a minimum requirement. They charge 100 rupees for car parking. I don’t mind paying, but the parking area should be proper. It was not well maintained at all. When I reached the beach, I was shocked. It was dirty. There were plastic bottles and trash. Tourists should act more responsibly, but it also seems like the local municipality doesn’t maintain it at all. Don’t trust the online reviews blindly. Not worth visiting this beach.
