Triveni Sangam Atithigruh is a guest house located near the Triveni Ghat and Bhalika Tirth, making it convenient for visitors to explore these sacred sites. The guest house offers comfortable rooms within walking distance of various attractions. However, some guests have noted issues with bathroom maintenance and hot water availability, so it's advisable to inquire about these amenities before booking during colder months. The Triveni Sangam itself holds great religious significance for Hindu rituals after death.
Triveni Sangam in Somnath is a sacred spot where three holy rivers Hiran, Kapila, and the mystical Saraswati merge into the Arabian Sea. The peaceful waves, soft breeze, and spiritual atmosphere make it a perfect place for reflection and prayer. Many devotees take a holy dip here before visiting the Somnath temple. The view during sunrise or sunset is truly magical. It’s not just a place it’s a feeling of calm and divine connection. 🌊🙏

A place needs to be cleaned and make it enjoyable. Evening with bhajan and chanting makes it so memorable moments and divine experiences.

No maintanence, no cleanliness, bathroom is also dirty, washbasen is leaking, room had a weird smell. Room charge is very high, could have got any decent hotel in this price only reason we choose this as it's near triveni sangam but completely disappointed.
Ashwani S — Google review
There is no extra facilities like they handover room keys to you after that no room services like water bottal. If you want extra bed then you have to collect from another room by your self....clining wise is good....bt staff is very casual.....

Somnath Temple, located in Gujarat, is a revered Chalukya-style temple and is believed to be the first among the 12 jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. The town surrounding the temple is steeped in mythology and religion, offering a spiritual environment with numerous other temples, beaches, museums, and attractions. Despite its tumultuous history of depredations and destructions, this indestructible temple stands firm on the western coast of India.
The New Somnath Temple is an architectural marvel and holds immense spiritual importance as it is considered the first among the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Located right beside the Arabian Sea, the temple offers a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere that instantly brings peace to the mind. During festival seasons, the temple attracts a massive crowd, so it’s best to plan your visit on weekdays or during the off-season for a more comfortable experience. Security checks are very strict here, and visitors are required to deposit their mobile phones and wallets in the lockers available outside. There are plenty of shoe houses to keep your footwear safely. The temple complex is beautifully maintained, and the recently developed sea corridor is a wonderful addition you can take a peaceful walk along it or even hire a cycle to enjoy the scenic coastal view. Overall, it’s a divine and well-organized place that every devotee must visit at least once.

Har Har Mahadev...🙏 What an absolutely mesmerizing experience! Somnath Temple isn't just a place of worship—it's a living testament to India's ancient heritage and unyielding spirit. Perched on the shores of the Arabian Sea, this iconic Jyotirlinga shrine radiates an aura of divine serenity and architectural grandeur that leaves you spellbound from the moment you arrive. The temple's white marble facade gleams under the sun, with intricate carvings that tell stories of devotion and resilience. Rebuilt multiple times after historical invasions, it stands tall as a symbol of rebirth—truly inspiring. As I stepped inside during the evening aarti, the rhythmic chants, flickering lamps, and the distant crash of waves created a symphony that touched the soul. The energy here is palpable; it's like time stands still, connecting you to centuries of pilgrims who walked these paths before. Practical perks: Easy access with ample parking, clean facilities, and guided tours available. Don't miss the sound-and-light show at night—it's magical! Whether you're a devotee seeking blessings or a traveler chasing history, Somnath delivers pure bliss. Highly recommend; it's a must-visit that deserves every star and more. Jai Somnath! 🙏

Somnath Temple is a divine and peaceful place filled with spiritual energy. The architecture is stunning, and the sea beside the temple makes the atmosphere even more serene. The evening aarti is a truly mesmerizing experience and not to be missed. However, it can get quite crowded, especially during weekends and festivals so it’s best to visit early in the morning. Phones, bags, and other belongings are not allowed inside and must be kept in the locker area. Only a small purse or wallet is permitted. The management and cleanliness are excellent, making it a must-visit for every devotee and traveler.

Somnath Temple is an architectural marvel and a deeply revered pilgrimage site, considered the first among the twelve Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva in Hinduism. Located on the western coast of Gujarat, the temple overlooks the majestic Arabian Sea, offering a truly ethereal atmosphere for devotees and visitors alike. 🙏🏼

Visited Somnath Temple on a weekday afternoon, and despite the strong sun and long travel, the experience was absolutely worth it. The approach to the temple is very organised. Parking is available around five minutes from the entrance, and the temple provides free counters to deposit bags and cameras separately, which is convenient and secure. Phones are not allowed inside the main temple area, so visitors should be prepared for that. After the security screening (with separate lines for men and women), there are dedicated golf carts available for senior citizens or anyone who needs assistance, which is very helpful because the temple is around 800–900 metres from the screening point. Washrooms are inside the premises, so it’s best to freshen up after crossing the security check. The moment you enter the temple complex, the atmosphere changes completely. The place feels calm, powerful, and spiritually uplifting. Sitting inside for a few minutes, listening to chants and feeling the breeze from the Arabian Sea, is a beautiful experience. The temple itself is grand, very well maintained, and located right on the seashore, making it one of the most scenic temple visits one can have. It’s good to spend some time walking around the temple surroundings. After returning, all deposited items were handed back safely, which reflects good management. Coming again for the evening Aarti is highly recommended. Arriving around 6:15–6:30 PM gives enough time to witness the stunning sunset over the Arabian Sea before the Aarti begins at 7 PM. The temple looks spectacular with its evening lighting. Since personal phones are not allowed inside, the temple has official photographers who can take pictures and provide either printed copies or send high-quality images on WhatsApp for ₹100–₹200. This is helpful for anyone who wants a memory from inside. Security at the temple is tight but smooth for visitors, and even with a rush during Aarti, everything is well coordinated. For photos of the temple from outside, the nearby road along the boundary gives great angles with the sea in the background.

Somnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva in India, is located on the beautiful western coast of Gujarat. The temple is truly magnificent, and the Shiva Lingam here is one of the largest I have ever seen. The darshan was an amazing and deeply spiritual experience — truly something to cherish once in a lifetime. The temple surroundings are very well maintained. Visiting in the evening is highly recommended to enjoy the spectacular light and sound show, which starts at 7:45 PM inside the temple. Tickets can be purchased from within the temple premises. Please note that no electronic items are allowed inside, but free slipper and bag counters are available for convenience. It’s best to avoid weekends and festival days, as the rush can be very heavy. A must-visit place to seek the blessings of Mahadev with your family or loved ones.

Nestled within the enchanting Sasan-Gir National Park, Kamleshwar Dam is a stunning water body that captivates visitors with its natural beauty. This picturesque dam not only serves as a vital water source but also acts as a sanctuary for crocodiles and various bird species, making it an essential stop for nature enthusiasts. The panoramic views of the Hiran River from this location are simply breathtaking.
Beautiful dam which is covered during the safari at Route 3. A lovely beautiful dam with a great view and a lot of crocodiles inside this dam. I also spotted a crocodile near the bank of this river so the driver and guide will warn you not to go near the river as it could be very dangerous. If you are lucky then you may also sight a lion walking on the bank of this dam but very rarely. Overall a lovely place

One of the most beautiful site in Gir Forest. It is a Natural reservoir and water source situated in between dense forest area of Sasan Gir. However it is not open for Public, one should have a permit from the concerned authority to get through this place. Dont miss the opportunity if you get a chance.
Ashif G — Google review
Kamleshwar Dam, also known as Hiran-I Dam, is a significant water reservoir located in Gir National Park, Gujarat, India. The dam is situated on the Hiran River and was completed in 1959 for irrigation purposes. With a height of approximately 25 meters and a length of 1304 meters, the dam creates a substantial reservoir with a surface area of 8 square kilometers. The dam is a popular spot for wildlife enthusiasts and birdwatchers, as it attracts a variety of bird species and is home to mugger crocodiles. The surrounding landscape offers stunning views, making it an ideal location for nature lovers and photographers. The dam's proximity to Gir National Park, which is home to Asiatic lions, leopards, and other wildlife, adds to its appeal. Visitors can enjoy the scenic views, spot wildlife, and explore the surrounding area. The dam is open from 6 am to 6 pm, except on Sundays, and there are no entry fees. The dam's significance extends beyond its natural beauty, as it plays a crucial role in the ecosystem of Gir National Park. The reservoir provides a habitat for various aquatic species, and the surrounding landscape supports a diverse range of flora and fauna. The dam's construction has also helped to regulate the water flow in the Hiran River, which has a positive impact on the local environment. For those interested in exploring the area, Kamleshwar Dam is an excellent starting point. The dam is located near the Gir Jungle Safari, which offers visitors the opportunity to spot Asiatic lions and other wildlife in their natural habitat. Additionally, the nearby Somnath Temple and Uparkot Fort are worth visiting for their historical and cultural significance. It comes under the protected zone of Forests and you need to get prior permission to access the dam. The criteria for getting permission is either you are a certified wildlife photographer, doing research on topics like lions, botany etc areas with valid proof.

Prit S — Google review
Lovely place. Scenic beauty. Panoramic view. Amidst the Sasan gir national park. Climb up the nearby watchtower to have a wonderful view of the area. Tourists can get down off their vehicle here. If you are lucky you will see lions here. If have little patience, you can see crocodiles gliding in the water. Best time is post monsoon. Great green cover over the ground to sooth your eyes and emotion However, make sure of timings before visit and follow the rules. For photo clickers, surely you will get many wonderful clicks

The GIR LION safari Devariya was an unforgettable experience. The morning safari offered the best chance to spot the majestic Asiatic lions in their natural habitat. We were fortunate to see several prides lounging amidst the dry deciduous forests. Besides the lions, we also encountered other fascinating creatures like leopards, hyenas, deer, and even a playful fox. The dense vegetation and rugged terrain added to the thrill of the adventure. While the safari can be bumpy, the excitement of witnessing these magnificent animals in the wild makes it all worthwhile.

Not very great experience. Firstly, website to book tickets is quite confusing. What appears to be a official government site turned out to be an agent. Full payment was made online, however at the check in counter they were insisting for a partial payment. Only when the so called agent turned up everything got sorted. Counter service wasn't friendly and the guide wasn't very polite. Devalia Safari Park is a large fenced area where animals are kept. If you are lucky you could see lions. We were in the last morning slot so we only managed to see lions at a distance resting under the tree. To the best of my understanding there are 3 different safari parks in the Gir region. 1) Devalia 2) Gir 3) Ambardi If I have to visit again, I would give Devalia a miss and try the others.

Have gone to Devaliya park. Gir is closed during monsoon season. We started our journey from Junagadh and our auto driver took us through a nice village side road . Weather was good and cloudy. Map showed 1.5 hrs but road conditions are not good . It took us almost 2.5hrs . We had a online ticket done so didnt have to wait much in counter line. Though my ticket was for 4 to 4.30 i didnt have to wait and got seat at 3.15 wala bus. It was suppose to be a 30 mins ride in bus for which we paid 150 rs per person. For jeep u need to pay around 4k. We saw 4 lioness, peacock, leopard in captivity, black buck deer. It felt The trip ended as soon as it started . If u r taking the bus may be buy 2 to 3 slots over the day. The park has food area , super expensive souvenirs shops.

Gir Safari has it's own name in wild life safari. We my family i visited there, it was awesome. First, you don't need to book online tickets as it was available offline without any waiting period. Mode:-( Bus/Jeep) With my opinion Bus is much better than Jeep safari as AC is available in bus and cost in Bus per person was 190/- where Jeep safari price was 3,000/- approx. We choosed Bus. Because they ensured for 100% lion sighting and we saw. Food:- Food options are available inside it. Staff behaviour:- The driver assigned to us was a local of Sasan village. His behaviour was really good. We cooperated him and in return he allow us to watch more than the time limit. Really salute for good staff of Gujarat Tourism. Conclusion. Hard recommend place.

Gir Safari is one of the most sought-after wildlife adventures in India. It is a thrilling experience that allows you to witness the majestic Asiatic lions in their natural habitat. Located in the state of Gujarat, Gir National Park is spread over an area of 1,412 square kilometers and is home to more than 600 species of plants and animals. The Gir Safari offers an opportunity to explore the beautiful and diverse terrain of Gir National Park on an open jeep, accompanied by a trained guide. The safari takes you through the dense forests, deciduous trees, open grasslands, and rocky hills, where you can spot a variety of wildlife including the Asiatic lion, Indian leopard, sloth bear, sambar deer, spotted deer, wild boar, and many more. The safari also provides a chance to witness the rare and endangered birds that inhabit the park, including the white-backed and long-billed vultures, Indian eagle-owl, and Indian pitta. You will get to experience the thrill of being in close proximity to these animals and birds, and observe their natural behavior in the wild. To make the most out of your Gir Safari experience, it is recommended to book your tickets in advance.

A sort of protected sanctuary where you will be guaranteed a lion or a leopard sighting along with other animals. Very well coordinated. Bus services are good. U will although miss the feeling of watching the big cat in proper Jungle. The facilities like souvenir shop and kids play area along with canteen are good.

Madhavpur Beach, located on the Porbandar Veraval highway, is a pristine and tranquil destination in Gujarat. The beach boasts clean shores and clear waters, perfect for nature lovers seeking relaxation. It is renowned for its stunning views and crystal-clear water that allows visibility of the seabed. Madhavpur Ghed, a culturally significant village nearby, is believed to be where Lord Krishna married Rukmini according to folklore.
So far one of the best beach I have visited in Gujarat. Very neat and clean - less crowded as well. Visited during high tide so waves were dangerous, couldn’t go into the sea. One of the best parts of visiting Madhavpur Beach is its less-crowded vibe, making it ideal for families, solo travelers, and couples looking to spend quality time by the sea. 🌞🏖️ The beach is clean, safe, and lined with coconut trees, giving it a truly tropical feel. Apart from relaxing walks and picnics, the sunset views here are breathtaking — a picture-perfect moment you’ll cherish forever. 🌅📸 The beach is also steeped in mythological significance, as it’s believed to be the place where Lord Krishna married Rukmini. 🕉️🌺 I highly recommend adding Madhavpur Beach to your travel plans — it’s the best spot to unwind, soak in nature’s beauty, and connect with the cultural heritage of Gujarat. 🏖️✨🌼

Madhavpur beach is one of the craziest beach anyone would ever witness. Ocean waves here can sometimes be very scary, powerful and huge. Very beautiful place, a good break spot when you’re on the way to Somanath temple. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL ON THE SEA SHORE.

Madhavpur Beach, located on Gujarat’s Arabian Sea coast near Porbandar, is renowned for its clean sands, turquoise waters, and tranquil surroundings, with swaying coconut palms lining the shore. The beach holds mythological significance as the believed site of Lord Krishna’s marriage to Rukmini, and visitors can enjoy activities like camel rides, boating, and beach scootering, though swimming is generally discouraged due to strong tides. With its serene ambiance, natural beauty, and minimal commercialization, Madhavpur Beach offers a peaceful and picturesque getaway, especially between November and March for the safest experience

Best beach for enjoying with family and friends. Not available Parking facility, You have to park on road. Lot of food stalls available. Not for Bath in sea due to very high tides in alltime.

This beach is one of the most peaceful and well-maintained spots I’ve visited. The moment you step onto the sand, there’s a calming vibe that instantly makes you feel relaxed. The beach is clean and inviting, making it perfect for families, solo travelers, or couples looking to unwind. The sand is soft and well-kept, great for barefoot walks or just lying down and soaking up the sun. The water is clear and beautiful, with gentle waves that are ideal for swimming or simply splashing around near the shore. Whether you're looking to enjoy a morning walk along the coast or just sit back and watch the sunset, this beach offers a naturally calming atmosphere. There’s enough space to enjoy without feeling crowded. People around are generally respectful and keep the vibe quiet and pleasant. I noticed the beach was being maintained regularly, which really enhances the overall experience. There are basic facilities nearby like seating areas, clean public restrooms, and a few stalls selling refreshments like coconut water, tea, and snacks. Nothing feels over-commercialized, and that’s what keeps the charm of this place alive. The best part? You can just sit for hours doing nothing—and it still feels like time well spent. The combination of natural beauty, peaceful surroundings, and proper upkeep makes this beach a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I need a break from the busy city life.

Nestled amidst lush greenery, Girnar is a revered mountain that serves as a significant pilgrimage site for both Hindus and Jains. This sacred destination boasts an impressive array of temples scattered throughout its forested slopes. The journey to the summit is not for the faint-hearted; it involves ascending approximately 10,000 stone steps, which can take around 5-6 hours to conquer.
Har har mahadev 🚩🚩🚩 This is one of the best trekking experiences I have mixed with a religious experience. Around 6 am in the morning , this temple is covered in fog and it feels something out of this world. Carry some energy powder and warm clothes. Warm up your body well and then start to climb. Also please help in keeping the place clean ❤️🚩

Best place for tourism. There are 10,000 steps for go up & 10,000 step for come to the base. If you are a hill and forest lover, you will love it. Because the greenery of the hill is next level. You can see thousands of trees, flowers and various plants from the hill. When reached to the top of the mountain, it feel like you are above the clouds. In some areas of the heels, It feels like you are between clouds. That was wonderful experience for me and I got precious memories of my life.

Visited Shri Guru Dattatreya Sansthan at Girnar today, and it was an incredible spiritual experience. This temple is dedicated to Lord Dattatreya, who is considered the embodiment of the divine trinity—Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva. The temple is situated atop Girnar Mountain, a place of immense historical and religious significance. It is believed that saints and ascetics meditated here for centuries, making it one of the most revered Datta Kshetras in India. The climb to the temple is challenging but rewarding, offering breathtaking views along the way. At the top, the atmosphere is serene, and the temple itself reflects traditional Hindu architecture. Devotees come here to meditate, seek blessings, and experience spiritual peace. Shri Guru Dattatreya Sansthan is not just a temple, it’s a journey through history, devotion, and nature. Uparkot Fort

Uparkot Fort, a magnificent relic of history dating back to around 319 BC, stands as a testament to the architectural prowess of its time. Originally constructed by the Mauryan emperor Chandragupta, this fort has been expanded over centuries and features impressive ramparts that soar up to 20 meters high. It has withstood numerous sieges—legend even tells of a remarkable 12-year siege!
Very beautifully renovated. The famous place of Junagadh. A historically important place in the history of Junagadh. Newly renovated fort is now equipped with modern amenities like e scooter, e cart, etc. Renovated with Audio guide, many information boards, etc. Location is perfect for any visitor who can easily view panoramic view of Girnar and mountain range.
Aditya D — Google review
When I look at these ancient structures on the map — the palaces, houses, deep stepwells carved by hand into the mountains without any modern materials like cement — I am filled with awe. Our ancestors built such magnificent architecture with sheer intelligence, effort, and vision. The forts standing tall on hilltops, with their perfect security systems, showcase brilliant planning and craftsmanship. It’s a salute to that era, to the people who built such wonders. Their legacy is not just beautiful — it’s something today’s world should learn from. We must respect and preserve our rich culture and history, and carry its essence forward with pride."
Shailesh R — Google review
While Uparkot Fort is undeniably a significant historical landmark with a rich past, a visit here offers a mixed experience. The fort's sheer size and its impressive structures, such as the ancient Buddhist caves and the remarkable step-wells, are a testament to its long history. The breathtaking views from the top are a major highlight. However, despite recent renovations, some areas still show a lack of maintenance, and the overall experience could be improved with more detailed information boards and better directional signage. The entry fee might seem a bit high to some for a government-run monument, and the lack of proper parking for four-wheelers can be an inconvenience. It's a place that holds immense historical value, but visitors should manage their expectations regarding the facilities and upkeep.
Parth B — Google review
Uparkot Fort is truly a gem of Junagadh! The fort is full of history, with ancient walls, beautiful stepwells like Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuvo, and old Buddhist caves that show the rich culture of the past. The view from the top is breathtaking and gives a great look over the whole city. The place is peaceful and perfect for anyone who loves history, architecture, and photography. It’s a great spot to explore with family or friends. Only suggestion — the management could improve cleanliness and provide more information boards about the monuments. But overall, it’s a must-visit attraction in Junagadh! If you want to go there to see the fort , start at 7 in the morning If you go there, take a car because there is a lot of walking here. The facilities there are good, there is a water machine everywhere, there is a toilet and bathroom, and if you have difficulty walking, you can go there safely.
Raj S — Google review
This historical site is a must-visit. The explanations at each point are informative. Allocate 2-3 hours to explore the entire fort. Note that outside food is not allowed, but there's an on-site restaurant, albeit with slightly higher rates. Visitors can opt for a cycle ride or EV car to navigate the points within the fort. Additionally, the Buddhist cave requires a separate ticket, which can only be purchased online. Overall, a good experience.
Manish J — Google review
A truly remarkable fort with over 2000 years of history. Uparkot was first built by Chandragupta Maurya around 319 BC and later ruled by the Chudasamas, Mughals and the Nawabs of Junagadh. The fort has witnessed many battles and long sieges, which shows its great strategic importance in Saurashtra’s history. Inside the fort, you can explore the ancient Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuvo stepwells, both carved deep into solid rock, and the Buddhist caves dating back to the 2nd–3rd century. The huge old cannons on the walls and the Nawabi Pond with its waterworks also reflect the engineering brilliance of that era. What makes Uparkot special is not just the structures but the stories they hold. From the top of the fort, the panoramic view of Junagadh is stunning. It’s a perfect place for history lovers, explorers and anyone who enjoys heritage sites. A must visit that brings alive the glorious past of Junagadh.
Saurabh S — Google review

Nestled in the heart of Junagadh, Gujarat, Sakkarbaug Zoological Park is a historical gem that has been captivating visitors since its inception in 1863. Originally established as a small menagerie for the Nawab of Junagadh, this sprawling 200-hectare wildlife sanctuary has evolved into one of the region's most cherished attractions.
We recently visited Junagadh Zoo, and it was a great experience. There is a golf cart facility available, so we toured the entire zoo in about half an hour and saw all the animals comfortably. If you want to visit the zoo quickly and comfortably, then taking a golf cart is a very convenient option. However, if you want to visit the zoo on foot, it will take you about one and a half hours, but the good thing is that most of the animals can be seen in one area. It is a different fun to visit Junagadh Zoo with children and family

I visited here with my family. This zoo is very big and comfortable place for birds and animals. Trusts are always taken care of this animals as well as birds and snks. Howevere, this zoo is very useful to know about animals, birds and other wild animals. This is well maintained place 👏 👌 🙌 👍 😀 must visit.
Bhargini S — Google review
I was impressed by the variety of animals at this zoo. Some exhibits seemed a little less maintained than others, but generally it was consistent. The lions and tigers are definitely the star attractions. The only thing that was fairly appalling was just how much more expensive it is for foreigners. I understand that tourists can pay more, but it was about an 8x-10x difference in price. AND they also charge if you happen to have a good camera, which I did, so I had to go back to the car to leave it there. 😒
Felipe L — Google review
The oldest zoo in India. Spread over 200 acres. Tickets cost quite less. 20 for adult and 10 for kids up to 12. Has a lot of animals & birds. Their stars are the Lion, Lioness and Tiger. They also have bison, zebras, deer, hyenas, hippos. Birds range from small parrots and parakeets to eagles, owls, to flamingos, ostriches and emus. For another 100 you can take a golf cart, but it's better to walk and see the animals at your speed. Golf cart just zips thru and back in 25 min, not worth the money. They have a small safari inside the zoo. It costs 100 separately. Some Lions, Tigers (esp white tiger), bears are moved there and not available to view in the zoo. The landscaping is really good, need to appreciate the effort. Warning: DO NOT ENTER THE TOILET. It is so bad that it's like it had never been been cleaned since inauguration. I was almost fainting when I got out. So much for the oldest zoo. They can make it chargeable or increase ticket cost by 5rs and clean it.
Sreeganesh ( — Google review
Multiple varieties of Animal species are present. The numbers are huge and very satisfying. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the Zoo is not up to the mark. Especially the living conditions of the animals, it's really painful to watch them stay in very dirty cages which are not maintained from the inside.

The Khambhalida Buddhist Caves are a hidden gem nestled at the foot of small hillocks by a spring. Carved out of limestone rocks, these caves consist of three main chambers, with the central one housing the stupa known as chaitya cave. The site also features two sculptures of Bodhisattva flanking the entrance to the chaitya cave. Despite being an archaeological site in Gujarat, it has been neglected and lacks proper management and promotion for tourism.
Buddhist caves of khambhalida is an archaeological site in Gujarat. There are only 2 caves but the entire lime stone 🪨 structure depict it's gravity itself. You can see the carving in the caves that is the main attraction 🧲 of the caves But do not worry, now the place is well developed with many sitting area under natural shade of trees 🌴 as well good management for parking 🅿️ and bird 🐦 feeding. And no ticket 🎟️ charges to visit. PS: best time to visit this place is in monsoon. there I river flowing behind the caves.

This place has potential to be developed as a major tourist attraction for it’s historical significance and Gujarat tourism must make efforts to publicize it on their web site and also transport arrangements from Rajkot airport. It is so great to see the history of old Tibetan / Jain monks from 4th century making this place for meditation.

too long journey, to see just ruins of ancient heritage site very pity for the archaeological dept, govt of India and local people.. who are happy by not conserving, this very much important part of our rich history.. still its aura is amazing, nearby river and jungle is serene to feel the aura roads are good to reach till the gate, ample parking space, not maintained toilets are rusted n not cleaned. tickets or entry pass not needed, it's free. 15 to 20 minutes enough to see the site no food or water available in and around some lovebirds wandering around, as it is a lonely place..

10minutes from Khambhalida Temple these Buddhist caves are a hidden gem. This is a very small part of what could have been a bigger residence or meditation cave for Buddhist Monks in the ancient era. The cave is not open for exploration but this is a must visit if you are a history buff. Also, the natural environment makes a perfect opt for a photoshooot. Shree Ghela Somnath Mahadev Mandir is a less popular but historically significant temple in Gujarat. It holds the Shiva Linga that was brought here from Somnath during an attack by Ghori, with Minaldevi and Ghelo Vanoyo risking their lives to protect it. The temple is about 40 minutes away from Gadhada and offers food, stay facilities, and parking for devotees.
Which we know by the name of Mahadev, that is Bholiyanath, that is Ghela Somnath Mahadev, which is located in Jasdan taluka. This is the Shankar Bhagwan temple, which we know by the name of Ghela Somnath. On the circumambulation path of Ghela Somnath temple, the names of the twelve Jyotirlingas and information about them are given. When you enter the temple, a garden has also been made on its left side in the name of the martyred soldier. What else can I say where there is real Somnath Mahadev and also Ghela Somnath, to whom you can get whatever you wish for.A photo of the history of Ghela Somnath has also been added to the review.

Enough parking space available for vehicles. Route is also scenic with windmills in hills and green trees in surroundings. Rajkumar College (known as RKC) is one of the oldest K-12 institutions in India. It was established in 1868 by the erstwhile Princes and Chiefs of Kathiawar. This institution constructed in the Indo Gothic style is spread around 25 acres and is difficult to miss if you are in Dr. Radhakrishnan road in Rajkot. While this institution was only meant for boys (read Princes) in the olden days it is currently a co-educational boarding and day school affiliated to the CBSE. I had an external view of this institution since this is a functioning school and not exactly a tourist location

Dear Public, It is with a mix of disappointment and determination that I address you regarding recent events involving Rajkumar College (RKC) in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. As some of you may know, I, H.H. Prince Manvendra, have recently received an invitation to an event at RKC, indicating that I could bring my husband, H.H. Prince deAndre, Duke of Hanumanteshwar, as my plus one. However, despite this indication on the invitation card, I have been informed that my husband would not be allowed to accompany me to the event. As of the writing of this letter, there has been no further information from RKC regarding this matter. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share my thoughts and intentions regarding the situation. In solidarity with my husband and in defense of the rights of all individuals, particularly those within the LGBTQIA+ community, I have made the decision not to attend the event. While this decision comes with a sense of sadness, it is also fueled by a deep-seated commitment to fighting for equality and inclusivity. As someone who has personally experienced discrimination and bias, I understand the importance of standing up against injustice and advocating for change. My absence from the event is not a sign of defeat but rather a reaffirmation of my dedication to championing the rights of all people, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. In India, discrimination against LGBTQIA+ individuals is unequivocally prohibited under the Constitution. Article 19 guarantees the right to freely express one's identity, and recent legal milestones have further advanced the rights of queer and transgender individuals. It is disheartening to witness discrimination persist within institutions like RKC, especially when they should serve as bastions of knowledge, respect, and dignity. I urge RKC and all educational institutions to reflect on their policies and practices, ensuring that they align with the principles of equality and respect enshrined in our Constitution. Let us strive together to create a society where every individual is valued, celebrated, and treated with the dignity they deserve. In solidarity and with unwavering resolve, H.R.H. Crown Prince Manvendra Singh Gohil of Rajpipla H.H Prince deAndre Duke of Hanumanteshwar

Established in 2001 by Deepak Agrawal, the museum aims to educate children about global cultures through an entertaining experience. It is a must visit and best place for kids to see different cultures around the world and that too under one roof. The Dolls Museum is one of it's kind with amazing dolls from around the world. A must visit place in Rajkot. The cultures of different countries are being reflected with the eye catchy doll setups. The place reflects different cultures from around 102+ country with 1600+ Dolls in museum. It's on 2nd and 3rd floor. There is a lift available. Monday is closed. The staff is also very well informed and they narrated us the complete story behind the set up of this museum. The main thing is no doll being purchased, but all dolls are being gifted by all rotary clubs around the world… The entry fee is Rs. 30 per person. There is extra Rs. 30 charge per camera if you want to take photographs. Cool place....

It's is one of the best museum of Gujarat, to understand the global culture. However its in narrow area, parking is also little problem. Worth to visit. Spare 1-2 hours.

A unique museum!! It's a rare opportunity to see a Dolls museum, here in Rajkot. Good to visit with children. The museum is situated on 2&3 rd floors. The lift was not working when we reached there. We had to climb steps. It was built by an ex Rotary president of Rajkot for his daughter. He wrote mails to Rotary branches of the world and hence many international branches sent dolls representing their country and regions. It takes around 1 hour to see all the exhibits. The rooms are air conditioned. The tickets cost ₹30 per adult and ₹15 per child. It costs another ₹125 if you want to click photos. The dolls represent their country's costume and culture. Children can spend good time there. However make sure they have emptied their bladder before. Because the toilet here is a medieval era one, on the ground floor. I wish the Rotary club would pay attention and renovate the toilet as kids come to this place.

In one word it is simply A Magical Journey Through Cultures! The Rotary International Dolls Museum in Rajkot is a fascinating wonderland for children of all ages: Over 1,600 dolls from 102+ countries, each showcased in traditional attire and set up with miniature scenes that let kids explore global cultures at a glance. Recognized in the Limca Book of Records for its unique and expansive collection. The displays include everything from folk dance dolls (like Bhangra and Dandiya) to Barbie and Einstein figurines, string/glove puppets, and even a rare Rocking Zebra—only one of five in the world! The themed showcases are beautifully lit and educational, with info about the country, culture, music, and costumes for each doll. Friendly and helpful staff guide visitors through the exhibits and share the fascinating stories behind many dolls. Includes interactive spaces like a cinema hall showing documentaries and cultural films, a Foreign Language Learning Centre, and a souvenir shop with stickers, postcards, and miniature flags. The Rotary International Dolls Museum is a safe, clean, and well‑maintained spot with plenty of visual stimulation and educational value. It’s perfect for a fun and cultural outing with kids. Every visit feels like a mini‑world tour where curious children can learn about cultures around the globe through beautiful doll displays. Note: Highly recommended Mainly for Kids.

A total different experience. Must visit, just 30₹ pp entry fees. This museum is surely made due to low and attraction towards dolls by rotary club. Definitely not a commercial thought process. Much appreciate the concept. They have 2 floors of museum, soveniour shop inside and collection of 1800+ different dolls from approx. 108 countries. Totally different and unique experience. Worth visiting. Please note its closed on Monday.
Sanjog K — Google review
It’s been great to see a father’s commitment to her daughter for building such a dolls museum because he wasn’t able to make her daughter saw museum in Delhi. Many activities are going on here with just deposit and if full attendance then they refund full amount. Really well preserved all dolls in museum and one Zebra ride kind of activity is great for kids.

Only INR 10 ticket price for return journey. Once you All have to must visit once in life. Difficulty for Heart petient and handicapped persons.

One of the best place in Morbi to hangout. I would strongly suggest to visit this place when you are in the city. There is a safe and enough place for parking.
Sunny V — Google review
As one enters Morbi swaying pylons of the suspension bridge and the beatific riverfront is a nostalgic reminder of Victorian London. Located 64 km from Rajkot is the town of Morbi with its quaint cobbled alleyways and buildings reminiscent of 19th century Europe. Morbi’s former ruler Sir Waghji inspired by Colonial influences designed a technologically planned and versatile city. The visitor is welcomed into the city through a grand suspension bridge, an artistic and technological marvel of that period. European influence in town planning further contributed to a central square known as the Green Chowk, approachable by three gates each designed in its own inimitable style incorporating both Rajput and Italian elements.

Nestled just fifteen kilometers east of Bhuj, the Living and Learning Design Centre (LLDC) is a captivating destination for anyone fascinated by the rich tapestry of Kutch's traditional crafts. This remarkable NGO-run museum serves as both an educational hub and a gallery, showcasing an impressive array of local handicrafts such as textiles, pottery, and woodworking. Visitors can explore well-curated galleries that highlight 42 unique embroidery styles from various communities like the Ahir, Maghwal, and Rabari.
If you want a sneak peak into the world of Kutch art and craft, then you should visit this museum. There are 3 galleries and you need at least an hour n half to see all the galleries. Very well planned museum. And it is completely guided. There is a cafeteria too.

A place made to appreciate and celebrate local embroidery skills. Exhibition is mainly that. Along with pottery and block printings etc. People who don’t have an eye to understand such art may find this walk through a bit boring. They can indulge in Hands on activities like block printing and pottery for fun. The building and the campus is designed beautifully. I found the building architecture more interesting. But tourist should visit once to understand the city and its people.

With my whole heart, I deeply appreciate the work that the LLDC Museum has put into creating this space. The level of research, documentation, and the intent behind building the museum is truly commendable. It’s clear that this institution is doing meaningful work, both for the city and for the preservation and promotion of the arts. The museum is beautifully maintained, and the exhibits are rich in culture and craftsmanship. Every gallery reflects thoughtfulness and a deep respect for the traditions it represents. The exhibition design is effortless and informative. The staff are also polite, efficient, and contribute to making the overall experience smooth and pleasant. This is a space that deserves recognition and support for the vital role it plays in preserving our artistic heritage. Thank you!

It is always soothing when you visit this place. The place is so serene, that one can have complete peace of mind and body just by visiting here. The modern infrastructure of this museum is amazing with all earthy colours surrounded by trees and water bodies. The art and handicraft collection they have and the way they preserve it is just incredible. One of the best events of LLDC is the Winter Festival celebration they conduct every year. Each working member of the LLDC team is friendly. They always give a very warm welcome.

By far the most beautiful textile, cultural heritage Museum I have ever been to. This is one of the main reasons to come to Bhuj.

The Living and Learning Design Centre (LLDC) in Bhuj is a wonderful museum dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich handicraft traditions of Kutch. It showcases beautiful textiles, embroidery, and artwork created by local artisans. With interactive exhibits and live demonstrations, it offers a deep insight into Kutch’s cultural heritage. During our visit they were hosting Winter Festival 2025, so they had few local music band performance as well. The entry fee is Rs. 100 and they have decent parking space.

Naam bade Darshan chote is apt for them. I went for learning Lippan art. They charged a huge amount as compared to the rest other artists teaching there in Bhuj. We didn’t mind in paying thinking it’s a great institution. But very bad experience. They just want to fill up their pockets only. I didn’t learn anything that was about the money I paid but even then I didn’t mind. I was supposed to make one frame there completely and one more they told me they will give me a whole kit for that. When I came to hotel later I found mirrors were all small and I will not be able to use it in one frame. Very miser staff n institution I will say. They say the mom goes to the person who teaches but I paid for the institute. The institute when they are running such workshop they should give proper kits with sufficient materials and also the level of training also needs to be professional. It’s a real shame first on Shrujan LLDC and then the staff. They talk too much about their institution but it’s not the same in the experience. They think they will become rich by extortion of money and it will help them then fine good for them. The institution is responsible and it’s shameful

A great place to go and learn about the arts in Kuchh area. The project is documenting various art forms especially related to garments and fabric decoration in a very time consuming and pains taking effort. The exhibits present there are amazing pieces of art. The project also offers a great opportunity for over 3000 artists to earn their livelihood. Overall, a great place to visit.

Great place to hangout with family. Good atmosphere, nicely developed, however they don't allow to go inside due to Corona and they charge 50 per head if they don't allow they should have admit for free. There’s a cafeteria inside which offers good food. There is clean washroom facility available inside. They organise laser show in the evening which attracts many people.

It's a great place to visit and I would you say, you must visit this place if you're traveling in Bhuj. This place shows our historical stories by different different 3D modal, statutes. The sound quality is great, and it gives goosebumps, hearing the historical stories. They have special night light shows. The best things to see is this night light show, which will held around 8:00 PM. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend but one should definitely attend the night light show. The guides and staffs are nice and provides all the knowledge about the place. This place is clean and atmosphere is amazing here. You need to get ticket for entry, they've two different tickets. One for garden and outside view, which includes tents and shops in which you can see and purchase handcrafted items. And another ticket includes entry inside bhavan and you can see shows, and our historical stories and statutes of Bharat Mata holding 4 lions. Mobile Phones, Cameras, water bottles, and other things are not allowed inside. You can only carry Purse with you when visiting Bhavan. They provide free service to carry your valuable items such as cameras and phones. Also you'll be given shoes socks and you've to wear shoe shocks inorder to maintain hygiene and cleanliness, which is great. This is very unique thing I've noticed, I've never seen this before. Also you can find a canteen inside, if you're planning to spend whole day or if you're hungry. Canteen has everything you need such as Gujarati dish, Punjabi Dish, and other things.

Nice place to spend time.. Canteen provides variety pf foods.. Shopping hits.. P.s. make sure to book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment on the days when museum tickets are houseful. Specifically when schools have holidays..

You should not forget to visit Bhujodi Craft Park while you’re in Bhuj. Not too far from the city, the Vande Mataram Craft Park is simply amazing. In my opinion, it’s one of the best tourist places not just in Gujarat but in India. Entry tickets are available near the main gate and the rates per person seem to be reasonable after the visit. There is so much to see and explore once you’re in. The entrance gate is a replica of India Gate and the decorative hut type ticket office itself tells you about the quality and importance of the place you are going to visit. The Radha Krishna temple near the entrance makes your day joyful. There is a round building in the premises which replicates our Parliament House. The Indian map with plants creeping on the walls is another attraction. Statues of Mahatma Gandhi with others going for Dandi March look natural and real. A big statue of Mahatma Gandhi sitting with his favourite Charkha is another noticeable feature. The lookalike Parliament building is in fact a museum. Unfortunately we couldn’t see it from inside as it was closed. There is another replica of Red Fort which has statues of Mahatma Gandhi along with other freedom fighters. Photos can be clicked sitting with these statues. Mahatma Gandhi’s struggle to free India and his work with other leaders are displayed here. Guides are available inside the museum to explain everything. As it was getting dark the lights were on and this made the whole place look like a dream. The fountains were looking great and were tempting tourists to click photos. The restaurant inside the building with yummy items is a great place to enjoy Chinese and Indian cuisine. The Bhungas and the beautiful well maintained garden all around the place are unimaginable. Neat and clean premises with large open area is good for children to enjoy their time. At last it was time for us to witness a more interesting event, the Laser Show. The tourists were requested to sit on the ground to watch the 30 minutes light show. It was all about our freedom fighters and the historical places of India. Great show which must be seen by all tourists. Photography is allowed inside the craft park and minimum time required to be spent is about 2 to 3 hours. Parking is available on one corner of the Bhujodi Craft Park. This place definitely raises our patriotic pride.

The White Desert of Kutch is a popular tourist destination in India, known for its vast expanse of white salt desert that becomes visible after monsoon season. The area is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset. Despite its remote location, the desert attracts thousands of domestic tourists every day during peak season. Despite the crowds, the magnanimous size of the desert makes it a soothing and beautiful experience. The cool weather in November only adds to its allure.
A truly mesmerizing and one-of-a-kind experience! The vast expanse of the white salt desert under the open sky is breathtaking, especially during sunset and full moon nights. The Rann Utsav adds vibrant cultural charm with music, food, and crafts. A must-visit for nature lovers and those seeking unique landscapes.

The Rann of Kutch, located in Gujarat, India, is one of the world’s largest salt deserts. Famous for its breathtaking white landscapes, it transforms into a cultural wonderland during the annual Rann Utsav, showcasing Gujarati art, music, dance, and cuisine. Visitors can enjoy stunning sunsets, moonlit nights over the white sands, and the warm hospitality of local villages. A must-visit destination for nature lovers, photographers, and culture enthusiasts alike.
Ashish D — Google review
A surreal place that hits you the moment you step onto that endless white stretch 🤍✨ The silence, the breeze, and that shimmering glow under the sun make it feel like you’ve landed somewhere completely unreal — one of the rarest landscapes you’ll ever get to experience. The best time to visit is definitely during winters — Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and early Feb ❄️ That’s when the weather stays pleasant and the salt flats look their absolute best. These months also happen to be the peak season, so expect more crowds, higher demand for stays, and busy evenings, especially during festivals and long weekends. Facilities in and around the area are quite good — clean pathways, viewing points, rest areas, and plenty of options for food, stay, and shopping 🛖🌙 Everything is organised well enough for families, groups, and even solo travellers. Overall, it’s a magical experience — a place that feels peaceful, vast, and unforgettable, and something you should visit at least once in your lifetime ❤️🤍✨

The place is beautiful, however due to rains, there is still water and uou can't see the white Rann of salt yet. Nevertheless, beautiful view during full moonlight

We visited on 25th Nov 2025. Full of water.. no white dessert due to late monsoon itseems. Not sure why the govt still charging 140rs for each person. 10rs is also a waste. There is work going on still. Plan your visit accordingly

We visit here nov 25 last week. There is no white sand for us due to water. Maybe in Dec it's is good time to visit.
Yogesh P — Google review
The endless stretch of white salt under the open sky is surreal and mesmerizing. Whether you visit during sunrise, sunset, or on a full moon night, the desert glows with a beauty that words can’t fully capture. I visited during the Rann Utsav, and the whole setup was vibrant, cultural programs, handicrafts, local food, camel rides, and traditional Kutchi music made it a complete cultural experience. The tent city is well-organized and gives you a mix of luxury and authenticity. If you're a nature lover, photographer, or just someone seeking a peaceful yet unforgettable trip, this place is a must-visit. The Rann of Kutch stays in your heart long after you’ve left.
