The Tower of Pisa, also known as Torre Pendente di Pisa, is a stunning 14th-century structure in Italy that has gained worldwide fame for its distinctive lean. The tower originally leaned at a dramatic angle of 5.5 degrees but extensive restoration work has reduced the lean to less than 4.0 degrees.
This was an amazing experience as one of the marvels of the world. To see this building leaning in its original form after centuries as it stands. The site has been well preserved. The line to go up the top was relatively short for an attraction in Italy. During the winter when I came the weather is cool in the morning but perfect by midday especially to stand in lines.
Cheryl J — Google review
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is one of the most iconic and fascinating landmarks in the world a true symbol of Italy’s charm and history. Seeing it in person is an incredible experience; its famous tilt is even more striking and impressive than photos can capture. The white marble gleams beautifully under the sun, and the detailed Romanesque architecture is simply stunning. Climbing to the top is an unforgettable experience. As you ascend the spiral staircase, you can actually feel the tower’s tilt, which adds a sense of adventure and wonder. Once at the top, the panoramic view of Pisa and the surrounding Tuscan landscape is breathtaking. The tower is part of the Piazza dei Miracoli (Square of Miracles), surrounded by other magnificent monuments like the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Baptistery, all of which are worth exploring. The area has a lively, joyful atmosphere with cafés, souvenir shops, and green lawns perfect for photos and relaxing. Whether you come for history, architecture, or just the fun of taking the classic “holding up the tower” photo, the Leaning Tower of Pisa never disappoints. It’s a place full of charm, beauty, and a sense of wonder that makes every visit truly special.
Lg G — Google review
Iconic, Beautiful, and Worth the Hype (Visited in September 2025) I visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa in September 2025, and it was every bit as impressive as I hoped. Seeing it in person — slightly tilted yet perfectly balanced — was surreal. The weather was warm and sunny, perfect for walking around the Piazza dei Miracoli and taking photos without feeling rushed. Climbing the tower was an unforgettable experience. The marble steps are worn and slanted from centuries of use, and as you ascend, you can actually feel the lean — it’s both thrilling and slightly dizzying! The view from the top is absolutely worth it, offering panoramic views of Pisa and the surrounding Tuscan landscape. The area can be busy with tourists, but if you go early in the morning or later in the afternoon, it’s much quieter. The cathedral and baptistery nearby are also stunning and definitely worth exploring. Overall: A must-see once in your lifetime. The Leaning Tower of Pisa isn’t just a famous landmark — it’s a masterpiece of history, architecture, and human perseverance.
Fav M — Google review
Pisa is a charming and historic city that truly captures the spirit of Italy. Famous for its iconic Leaning Tower, the city offers much more than just that – beautiful architecture, cozy streets, and a relaxing atmosphere. Walking around the Piazza dei Miracoli feels like stepping into a living museum, surrounded by stunning buildings and rich history. The locals are friendly, the food is delicious, and there’s a lovely mix of culture and calmness throughout the city. Whether you come for sightseeing, photography, or simply to enjoy authentic Italian vibes, Pisa is definitely worth visiting. A small city with a big heart — unforgettable and full of beauty! 🇮🇹✨
Nika S — Google review
Before I went to visit, I thought it would be overrated, old and uninteresting, but when I got there, I was completely wowed! The tower and surrounding buildings have been maintained in such a pristine way that they look like they were built last week. For a building that is over 850 years old, it sure has aged well. The scale and lean of the tower is unbelievable and cannot be felt from pictures. This is a must visit when you are in Italy. It is truly a majestic sight.
M4l2K T — Google review
The Leaning Tower of Pisa is an absolute blast to visit! Seeing it in person is way more impressive than any photo, and the tilt is even more dramatic up close. The best part? Getting creative with photos! We had so much fun “holding it up,” pretending to push it over, leaning against it, or even putting it in an ice cream cone — endless silly opportunities for memories and laughs. The surrounding Piazza dei Miracoli is beautiful too, with the cathedral and baptistery making the perfect backdrop. Even just walking around and soaking in the architecture is a treat. Tip: bring your camera and a playful attitude — it’s all about the fun angles and perspective tricks. Crowds can get busy, so a little patience helps to get your perfect shot. Visiting the Leaning Tower isn’t just sightseeing — it’s a joyful, hands-on experience that’s perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves a little photo fun. Definitely one of the most memorable stops in Italy!
Chen Z — Google review
Iconic- such an amazing view. I loved this place but so crowded. I would recommend visiting the museum next to the tower of Pisa to get an amazing view with minimal people spoiling your photos. Also there is a restaurant in this museum and you get a stunning view. Recommend climbing the tower of Pisa that was amazing make sure you are willing to climb as can be tiring. Trainers recommended for the climb.
J — Google review
Had a lovely time here. The tower itself has a beautiful view when you're at the top. The steps are slippery tho so be careful aspecially when walking back down. The cathedral is gorgeous also on the inside. We bought tickets that included entree to all buildings and museums and also walked the walls of pisa all the way (which was quite long). Definitely recommend visiting and also going inside.

Cattedrale di Pisa, also known as the Cathedral of Pisa or Santa Maria Assunta, is a grand marble-striped cathedral famous for its ornate Romanesque bronze doors and a carved 1300s pulpit. Initially built as the freestanding bell tower for the nearby Duomo di Pisa, it began to lean due to unstable soil during construction in the 12th century.
After visiting Cathedral of Florence i was very surprised by interior decoration here. Very rich and beautiful in comparison to Florence. Spent more than 40min here to admire every detail. Paintings, statues, woodwork, mosaics, frescos, everything in superb condition like it wasn't build 900 years ago. Very pleasant surprise. It was beautifully restored in 2018.

Obviously I don't need to give you introduction to the place. There is dress code girls take a scarf with you to cover your shoulders or thighs. It is important to dress appropriately for a visit to a church, with rules against shorts and bare shoulders.

Stunning architecture and artwork in every single corner of this Cathedral, it truly feels like a holy place. Tickets to enter are free you need to go to ticket office to get them, not directly at the cathedral entrance. A must see if you are visiting the tower of Pisa is just beautiful.

A beautiful beautiful beautiful place! A must go if u visit pisa city. It is even better than the famous leaning tower. An old monument preserved in history. It takes you to a different era altogether. Great architecture. Very well maintained.

Superb place in Pisa, Italy. The city is beautiful and have wonderful stores for shopping. There are eating places and restaurants at every corner. It’s just 1 hour train from Florence. Entire city of Pisa is walkable.

It was a mesmerizing experience witnessing every extricate details of the Cathedral. The view from the outside is as great as the view from the inside.

A truly impressive cathedral — one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen from the inside! It’s absolutely worth going inside; the architecture and atmosphere are breathtaking.

While in Pisa to see the Leaning Tower we went inside Cattedrale di Pisa. The beauty of design shows throughout the church. I lit a candle for a Catholic friend and walked around looking at all of the fine details. During our visit we could see the roof being replaced. Definitely a place you should stop and view if and when you make it to Pisa.

The building was amazing but everything else lacked in excitement. There was only one fountain open to obtain water to drink. Nothing else was open. I was under tge influence that there was access to the hot springs for wading but that wasn't the case. I did catch a local orchestra practicing. Honestly, that was the highlight of that visit
Jedaiah H — Google review
The Piazza of miracles' is indeed filled with miracles of architecture. We visited them all. Get a full ticket from the Sinopie Museum. It will give you a set time for the Leaning Tower on day of purchase, while you have a year to visit all other locations! If you include a separately charged wall access from the corner tower, there are 7 things to visit.

Piazza del Duomo is one of the most breathtaking squares in the world — a true masterpiece of harmony, art, and faith. Surrounded by the Cathedral, Baptistery, Leaning Tower, and Camposanto, every corner shines with elegance and history. The white marble buildings glowing under the Tuscan sun create an almost dreamlike scene. Standing here feels like being inside a living work of art — peaceful, majestic, and timeless. Absolutely magnificent and unforgettable!

This something This place is simply spectacular. The architecture is massive and incredibly impressive—pictures don't do it justice. Inside, it’s a masterpiece of art and history, packed with stunning stained glass and biblical details. My top recommendation: definitely buy the ticket to go up to the top. Walking around the exterior and seeing the views from above is the highlight of the trip. Totally worth the wait!

This is how beautiful it can be in Pisa, this small fantastic cosy city with it’s unbeatable charm. I walked the street and tje wall, everything was almost as a dream, I met fantastic people, I saw buildings that almost made me faint, it was like I was hit by Stendahls Syndrome. Pisa is a MUST city and the Tower area is the symbol of great architecture with classical style and grace. I’ll ne back!

It's true you can't go far in Italy without running into history and this is no exception. Using viator, ITaly, lime (scooter rental), the world is your oyster. In your typical basilica, cathedral or place of worship related to Catholicism. The walls will be lined with this stations of the cross, not the duomo. It's its walls were lined with apostles and followers of Jesus. Make sure you catch the show output at noon. The bells ring the mechanical figures put on a lovely show in the piazza. If you're interested, pay a visit to the museum located on-site as well as the cript.

Located in the Square of Miracles, Battistero di San Giovanni is a stunning medieval baptistery that often goes unnoticed next to its towering neighbors. This round building boasts an impressive interior with a baptism font at its center and offers a unique vantage point from its top floor overlooking the cathedral. Constructed in the 12th century in Romanesque style, it features Gothic and Renaissance influences as well.
It was my first time visiting the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and I honestly didn’t expect it to be so impressive. It was much bigger than I imagined, and the whole experience felt magical. Seeing it in real life is truly something special—it’s definitely a must-see! The atmosphere around the tower is lively and full of charm. A unique landmark that leaves a lasting impression
Darmoul D — Google review
Such a beautiful place. We were lucky that the choir began singing while we were on the upper level and the acoustics were incredible. The sound seemed to come from every direction at once. The building is well maintained and the crowds not bad at all. Don't just come to see the tower. This chapel is a must visit
Gary G — Google review
A beautifully designed baptistery with impressive acoustics and elegant Romanesque-Gothic architecture. The interior is simple yet majestic, and the echo demonstration is a lovely highlight for visitors.
Theeraphat P — Google review
Didn't have a time for visit this place but from pictures i saw it seems quite empty inside and very simple. From outside its quite impressive though, 55 m high and 107 m in circumference, one of the largest in the World. Echo inside is very unique and its worth to hear the crew demonstration of this exquisite acoustic every 30min.
Tomi V — Google review
Visiting the Battistero di San Giovanni was an unforgettable experience that left me in awe of its rich history and breathtaking architecture. The intricate details of the interior, from the gilded ceiling to the marble columns, showcase centuries of artistry and devotion. Standing beneath the frescoes, I felt a deep connection to the cultural and spiritual heritage that this place represents. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere inside remained reverent and inspiring, offering a true sense of serenity. This landmark is not only a masterpiece of design but also a living testament to Florence’s enduring legacy

The Baptistery of Saint John (Italian: Battistero di San Giovanni) is a baptistery in Piazza dei Miracoli in Pisa. It is an outstanding monument of Italian Romanesque and Gothic architecture and sculpture. Construction began in 1152 and was completed in 1363. Chronologically, it is a later structure than the Pisa Cathedral and an earlier one than the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Guliola L — Google review
It was a great place to see along with the rest of the monuments in the plaza. Fair warning, beware of the people selling things that are not at a stand. If the police are walking around they will hide what they are selling and close their bags and head the opposite direction. It is really comical. The building itself has a lot of history and the inside is beautiful.

A historical and beautiful bridge right on the side of the road in the mountains. If you're in or around Lucca and planning to see some mountains and nature, I'd recommend having a quick stop at Ponte della Maddalena. Parking is easy on the east/right side of the Bridge. Not too crowded when visiting in the middle of the day. If you're also looking for a pitstop or a quick lunch, three small osterias/restaurants are right next to the bridge.
Frederik H — Google review
The Devil’s Bridge is an absolute marvel of architecture — a structure that feels both timeless and awe-inspiring. The craftsmanship is remarkable, and standing on it, you can’t help but admire the ingenuity that went into building something so bold in such a dramatic setting. What makes it truly special, though, is the feeling when you reach the top. The view opens up around you, and for a moment it’s as if you’re standing at the very top of the world. There’s a mix of exhilaration and serenity that makes the experience unforgettable. Whether you’re drawn by history, architecture, or simply the promise of a breathtaking view, the Devil’s Bridge delivers on all fronts. It’s one of those rare places where the journey up is just as memorable as the sight from the top.

Nestled in the Apuan Alps of Tuscany, Antro del Corchia Levigliani is a captivating cave system renowned for its striking stalactites and dramatic lava formations. Accessible via a bus ride from the nearby ticket office, this off-the-beaten-path attraction offers guided tours lasting around 2-2.5 hours, providing an opportunity to explore its fascinating interior filled with intricate stalactites and serene lakes.
Beautiful cave. The tour guide always took the time to explain everything in English as well even though only me and my family didn't speak Italian. Make sure to bring a warm sweater and long pants!
Eszter B — Google review
If you want to visit the cave I would recommend to book the tour in advance or at least call them up the day before. We arrived to the town where the information desk was at 12:00 and were informed the last group had already left on the bus to see the cave at 11:00. For some reason, they had they last guided tour at 11am, which was extremely strange and there was no info on their website that said that prior reservation was required. It took us an hour to get to the place, so we were obviously a little disappointed. It could have been a great experience, but alas. Make your reservation ahead of time!
Eugenia — Google review
This is out of the beaten path attraction. You park near the ticket office and reach the cave by a bus (included in the tickets). You can only enter with a guided tour of about 2-2.5 hours. You can combine it with a 45 minute tour to the mercury mine nearby. Not all guides are fluent in English, but you can check this with the park by emails (and reserve a spot). There is a small kiosk at the cave entrance.
Hila — Google review
The guide knew was he was talking about. There is no more audioguide for non Italian speakers. The guide will do both language, which is a considerate and good thing. The downside is we sometimes couldn't hear because we were too far behind. There is not much time to appreciate the last part of the cave since we must follow the group. Overall it was still a nice experience
JC — Google review

An incredible geological formation that stands alone in the many valleys surrounding it. La Pietra di Bismantova is a must stop if you are exploring the Appenino Tosco Emiliano
Giulio A — Google review
A truely unusual piece of geology. The hike up is for nearly anyone (no wheelchairs or elderly). Rock climbers, take note. There are also 3 via ferrata. Charming rifugio (restaurant) at the base.
Eugenio F — Google review
What an amazing place. There is only a little difficulty to reach the top of the plateau because of the unstable path. There is a bar at the beginning of the mountain and restrooms also for people with handicap. You can reach the top both using the path and climbing the steep sloops if you have enough skills. As far I can see there is also a climbing school for novice. The effort in order to reach the top is repaid with the amazing POV. Try to believe.
Luca P — Google review
Huge recommendation for this place. Loved the view and the track to get on top (it's just "20" minutes and the only tough spot lasts for like 20 meters very close to the top). It's easy for adults and children.

Beautiful little spot, only takes 20 minutes to reach the top and once you do you can have a nice walk around the summit.

Really awesome castle!! Amazing panoramic view of Lerici and San Terenzo. A must visit if you are in Lerici!!

Great place, you can have a beautiful view over the sea and port. And, you can enjoy a cold glass of wife and a light snack on top.

Beautiful landmark of Lerici. Very nice views and nice areas of the fortress. There is no waiting to enter. However, the premises are empty and lack any interesting exhibition illustrating the origin and history of the fortress and the surrounding area. There are a few (3) screens, but they don't draw the eye.

Lerici is for sure one of the underated place of Italy. This is an fantastic place. Extremely beautiful and tourist friendly. The view from the castle is simply amazing and breathtaking. The port is filled with little boats. On the city streets you can find lots and lots of fantastic restaurants with authentic italian taste- family owned ones with care and love for food. Definitely recommend it. Bonus: the sand of the little beach is simply great.

Beautiful medival castle that sits on the top of the hill. Totally worth visiting if you are in Lerici. From there you have a stunning view of the city and overlooking the Gulf of Poets

Stunning views from the top galleries. Entrance is €5, there are QR codes for the Italian and English audio guide in every room (take your headphones with you). The only small disappointment was that there was no exhibition and all glass-boxes for the exhibits were empty.

Hiking Trails
The Sentiero Monterosso - Vernazza is a popular and picturesque hiking trail that connects the Cinque Terre, offering stunning ocean views and lush landscapes. One of its highlights is a famous lookout point near Vernazza, known for its Instagram-worthy scenery. While a Cinque Terre Trekking Card is required during the hiking season, it may not always be enforced.
It was absolutely beautiful. It did take 1-2 hours and the stairs are quite the workout. Definitely have to stop and catch your breath from how much you climb up and down but if you love a good hike with gorgeous views I definitely recommend this. Some of the pathway is pretty narrow so be careful! Also, if you hike when it's hot, bring a swimsuit and jump into the water at Vernazza or Monterosso, it feels MAGICAL.
Laura P — Google review
We walked from Vernazza to Monterosso. It took about an hour and a half. The first half hour, in particular, is quite tiring and challenging; you're walking uphill. There are beautiful views along the way. There's no way to refill your water bottle along the way, so stock up on water beforehand.
Mehmet A — Google review
Please take cat food with you - lots if possible!!!!!! There is a cat village and a designated area to leave food so people can feed them over time. It is up to us to feed these homeless cats. Walked this trail today and to my surprise, there was a few homeless cats who are in a small gated area with cat houses and a sign that states something along the lines of “homeless and unloved cats, please feed” …there was no food there and they looked quite skinny. If you are planning to walk this trail, please bring a bag of cat food, maybe some wet cans (not tin, they can cut their tongue on those), water… whatever you can. If I had known this going into the hike, I would’ve brought it. I’m not sure what the deal is with any caretakers for the cats but it would be nice to have a sign or something prior to starting the trail to let people know there are cats along the way, so people can purchase food before going up…. Lots of people were very upset to see the cats there with no food and there’s nothing to do about it at that point… it is mid-trail and nothing around. Otherwise, it is very uphill so be very prepared - but the sights are well worth it!
Kelsie G — Google review
Pro tip: apparently you need a Cinque Terre pass to enter but everyone was passing through just to check the views and then come back. This is where you'll take the best photo of Vernazza. The start is just on the side of a restaurant, to the left you'll see a narrow street.
Sidónio S — Google review
3.6 km, about 2h walk. It tooked us 2h15 with a big break at a bar about 1km away from Monterosso, the only one along the way. Lots of steps, but pretty easy to walk with good shoes... And the viens are so worth it !
Emma — Google review
This is a very strenuous trail with 800 ft of elevation. It was quite difficult with many stairs on both the accent a decent. We’re in our 30s and 40s and it took us about two hours with several stops for photos and the drink water. The terrain is treacherous at times. Make sure you wear the appropriate shoes with tread and waterproofing if possible as it is very muddy in some areas. The views and experience is absolutely worth it though!
Brianna M — Google review
Very beautiful hike. WARNING for anyone that wants to do this hike but isn’t a seasoned hiker: start from Vernazza and go towards Monterosso!! I started from Monterosso and it was a LOT of steep stairs & uphill. I read a review from someone on here who talked about having to climb up on all fours… while I didn’t get to that level I DEFINITELY was feeling that review to my core 😂😭 If I were to do it again, I would start from Vernazza. It’s doable both ways, but know that it will be more difficult if you start from Monterosso. The views will be beautiful & the same whichever town you start from. I had to take a lot of breaks, but many people (both old & young) did the same so I didn’t feel too left out. I recommend you do the hike early in the morning or towards late afternoon, that way you can have a little bit of a breeze and it’s not constantly hot. For reference, we did the hike with a lot of breezes and I STILL had my shirt drenched with sweat. If it is rainy, be careful!! Wear appropriate shoes for that. We did it while it was sunny & dry but there were many areas that were slip-potential. Also, you can access the viewpoint of the Vernazza background for picture-taking WITHOUT having to hike. I have included a picture so you know which viewpoint I’m talking about.
Deniz N — Google review
Beautiful hike! Definitely lots of stairs, which worked up quite a sweat in the heat. Views were totally worth it. Also, there was a small cat community (with little cat houses) that lives along the hike route close to Vernazza. A sign asks visitors to bring cat food/water because they have no owners. Really sweet cats!

Cattedrale di Parma is a remarkable Romanesque cathedral featuring a vast interior adorned with art and crowned by a stunning frescoed cupola. The city of Parma exudes excellence through its charming streets, typical houses, and sunny squares. It boasts sumptuous palaces, fashionable shopping streets, and a ducal legacy that defines the Parmesan style.
Unbelievably beautiful church. The murals are STUNNING - I could have looked at them for hours. Correggio at his absolute best! The building itself is beautiful inside and out.

Hard to find anything for free nowadays! This church was unreal!! I have been to the Sistine Chapel and it was really nice but so crowded and honestly hard to see most of it with really long line ups. This place was painted at the same time in the 1500 and looks so perfect! All free with no lineups !! If you're looking for paintings and beautiful art then you have to make the trip to Parma , pulse the food is way better!!!!!

The Cattedrale di Parma is absolutely breathtaking. The artwork painted on the walls and ceilings is some of the most extraordinary we have ever seen anywhere in the world, and we have traveled all over Europe. Every detail is magnificent, and standing inside feels like stepping into a masterpiece. We are here in Parma from the US for a month and loving every moment of this city, but the cathedral is truly unforgettable and a must-see.

This cathedral wows you immediately as soon as you walk in. It’s magical, the pictures on the ceiling and walls, the marble work together with wood work in sculptures and inside balconies, simply incredible. No words to describe it, you must visit the Cathedral.
Naja — Google review
During my visit to the Cattedrale di Parma, I was awestruck by the stunning Romanesque architecture and the profound sense of history that envelops this magnificent cathedral. Situated in the heart of Parma, Italy, the cathedral is a testament to the artistic and architectural prowess of the late Renaissance period. The exterior of the cathedral is remarkable, with its intricate stonework and commanding presence. Upon entering, I was immediately captivated by the frescoes of Antonio da Correggio, particularly the dome fresco of the Assumption of the Virgin, which is a masterpiece of illusionistic painting. The ethereal quality of the artwork and the way it plays with light and perspective is truly a sight to behold. The interiors are equally impressive, with beautifully detailed sculptures and an impressive altar that speaks to the rich religious history of the cathedral. The grand organ, with its majestic sound, adds to the serene and spiritual atmosphere within.

The Baptistery of Parma is a stunning pink-marble octagonal structure adorned with medieval paintings and carvings, serving as a venue for baptisms. When visiting Parma, take the time to explore its historic center, where you can discover architectural marvels such as Palazzo della Pilotta, Duomo, Basilica of Santa Maria della Steccata, Farnese Theater, and National Gallery.
A Masterpiece of Romanesque-Gothic Fusion The Baptistery of Parma is an architectural and spiritual marvel. Designed by Benedetto Antelami and constructed in pink Verona marble, it glows warmly in the sun and feels almost alive. Step inside, and you're immersed in a world of sacred geometry, vivid medieval frescoes, and intricate bas-reliefs that narrate biblical scenes with astonishing detail and elegance. The dome is breathtaking — a soaring space that draws the eye and the spirit upward. If you love art, history, or just beautiful spaces, this is a must-see. It’s also quieter and more contemplative than many other Italian landmarks, which makes the experience even more personal and profound. Don’t miss the sculptures on the exterior — each one tells its own symbolic story. Buy a combo ticket with the nearby Cathedral and museum for the full Parma experience. But entrance is not free! Buy tickets cross the square in the museum

The Farnese Theater, located in Parma, Italy, is a remarkable wooden structure within the elegant Ducal Park. Commissioned by Prince Ranuccio I Farnese and designed by Giovanni Battista Aleotti, it was inaugurated in 1628 with a play accompanied by music from Claudio Monteverdi. Today, the theater is part of a cultural complex that includes the National Archaeological Museum and the Academy of Fine Arts of Parma.
Fantastic! Amazing! Not to be missed. A wooden theater inside a palace - hard to imagine without experiencing the location. If you can attend a production there, do! We visited during Verdi Festival in October and enjoyed a performance Monteverdi Madrigals. Another unforgettable night in Parma.
Penny P — Google review
Teatro Farnese is absolutely breathtaking; one of the most remarkable spaces I’ve ever stepped into. Built entirely of wood in the early 1600s, it feels like a time capsule of Baroque grandeur. The scale is massive, yet the warm tones of the timber give it an almost intimate atmosphere. Standing in the arena, you can feel the weight of history and spectacle that once unfolded here. It’s hard to believe it survived (and was rebuilt after WWII damage), but that only adds to its mystique. A must-see for lovers of architecture, theater, or anyone who appreciates the rare magic of a place that feels truly one of a kind.
E P — Google review
My wife and I spent a full month in Parma and out of everything we saw across Italy, Teatro Farnese was by far one of the most breathtaking places we visited. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time. The entire theater is made of wood and when the light shines through the upper windows it gives the space a warm golden glow that pictures can never capture. The history makes it even more special. It was built in the early 1600s for the Dukes of Parma and later destroyed during World War II. What you see today was carefully rebuilt using the same original design and materials. You can feel the care and craftsmanship that went into every detail. Standing in the center of the theater surrounded by rows of wood seating is a moment that stays with you. It is quiet and grand all at once and you can almost imagine the performances that once filled the space. If you are visiting Parma, do not miss it. Teatro Farnese is absolutely spectacular and one of the true treasures of Italy.

Wonderful and quiet teatro farnese was beautiful welcoming . Between my broken Italian and little English from staff, we were shown the way around so as to not miss anything. Great two hours of wonderful architecture and paintings the library was one of the best I have seen. The grand wooden theatre is amazing you smell the wood as you approach. Wonderfully taken care of.
Allison E — Google review
the main masterpiece of Ranuccio's time is the Farnese Theatre. You will definitely not see anything like it anywhere else. A huge theatre from the beginning of the 17th century... made of wood! A unique landmark. In fact, there are similar theatres, the Olimpico in Vicenza and the Antica in Sabbioneta, the architect of Parma used them as models. But the theatre in Parma is larger.

Great musuem, so much to see. Many rooms and floors. Was a great addition to our day in Parma
Corey S — Google review
The most incredible theatre I have ever seen. It was renovated a few years ago in the early 2000. It's like ab old Roman theatre and the minute you walk in you will smell the aroma from all of the wooden beams that hold up and make up this incredible structure. The theatre is part of the greater Palazzo Della Pilotta complex. Your €16 ticket gives you access to the Library, Theatre, Archeological museum and the gallery. There are some great models on display as well as Roman ruins. Your theatre visit will likely be short like ours, 30 mins is all you need but it will leave you in awe. It was like stepping back in time on an old movie set. It really is remarkable. Highly recommended

Centuries-old, hilltop castle with history & archaeological displays, guided tours & valley views.
A beautifully preserved fortress perched high above the valley. From the Piazza, in front of the church in Bardi, one takes a walk down the quaint main street towards the castle. Once down the magnificent structure towers above. Keeping to the left, climb up, through the gates and onto the courtyard area. It affords wonderful views and also has exhibits of artefacts through the centuries. Well worth a visit.

Impressive medieval castle on a hilltop over a village. It's BIG and just after the holiday season it was almost deserted. We spent an hour or two roaming the ramparts, the many rooms (including a fascinating exhibition of 29th century socialist paintings) - and yes, the torture dungeon as well. We were pleasantly surprised to be left to roam the place on our own accord. The view of the valley from the ramparts is stunning.

It was a great opportunity to visit what still stands of an old castle. Tons of stairs to get to the top. Not a real lot to see. But glad I did it. Not for anyone with issues with heights. I was lucky to do this when no one else was in the building. If you are pressed for time may be worth just checking out the town instead.

Came here to spend a few hours, to see the castle and the other sights and some walk. The whole small medieval town is a sight for itself. We parked down in the village and walk the hill up to the castle. Beautiful buildings and architecture all the way up. And on top of course the castle, the tower and many other sights. As well as a small park with some nice views. The town dates back to the 8th Century, but it believed to be even older. The castle itself (the "Borgo") was build in 1342, while the nearby church "Santa Maria Assunta" dates back to the 11th Century. Then there's the Palazzo del Podestà and the Bell tower and other notable buildings up there in the castle area. It was also the filming location of "Ladyhawke" starring Matthew Broderick, Rutger Hauer and Michelle Pfeiffer. We came here on a sunday, there were some visitors, but we expected a lot more, free parking available down in the village as well. A really wonderful old town worth visiting. We didn't expect much, since we really didn't know much about the place, but were really impressed by this beautiful town.

The Museo del Violino, situated in Cremona, Italy, is a renowned destination for music aficionados and admirers of Italian artisanship. This esteemed museum pays homage to the history and craftsmanship of the violin, featuring an impressive assortment of vintage instruments crafted by master luthiers such as Antonio Stradivari and Giuseppe Guarneri del Gesu.
Best museum I’ve been so far, recommended whether or not you’re a string musician. Best value for money, you get to see priceless instruments right in front of you with only twelve euros. They also do recitals with one of Stradivari violins everyday at noon, the ticket only costs ten euros.

A small and specific museum dedicated to the art of Violin making and the history behind Cremona’s role in it. Specifically the Stradivarius lineage. Worth a trip to get away from the crowds and brands of Milan and explore.

A must! Highly underrated and very detailed museum with a great layout and tons of beautiful instruments to see for anyone who appreciates classical instruction or Stradivarius.

Beautiful place. I was impressed by the historical treasure they keep. It was a great pleasure to approach these masterpieces of the greatest violin makers.
Aneliya A — Google review
billion dollar collection of Strad and Avati violins. Nothing much to see if you don’t play the instrument. the audio guide refused to function in english and the staff is rather lackluster. But you go to Cremona to see Strad and Strad you definitely see and hear in this place

Definitely the highlight of my Italy vacation so far. Well worth it if you like violins. Straravari violins fascinate me so this was amazing!
Kevin M — Google review
Cannot say enough of our experience visiting the museum and Cremona. It was so insightful! My husband plays the violin and thoroughly enjoyed every part of the museum. We were sorry to miss a live recital which are only on weekends but the visit was still very worth it. One staff member by the name of Clara, was very nice and patient, she answered tons of questions and made our time there so enjoyable. We plan on coming back soon!!

Its striking facade showcases a blend of Romanesque, Gothic, and Baroque architectural elements, including a large rose window and statues of Saint Imerio, the Virgin Mary, and Saint Omobono. So because & so peaceful here. So glad we stopped in. Such a beautiful cathedral!
Irish L — Google review
One of the most beautiful Cathedrals I’ve had the opportunity to visit. Make sure you look up in every vestibule !
Simon B — Google review
It’s a lot of steps to go up the tower but there is something to see on each floor as well as to catch your breath. It is really worth paying to see the tower which includes access to the Baptist part. But the Tower makes you really look at the clock which is far, far advanced to anything we have still and it still works in part. Plus the great views of the city at the top. The cathedral itself is a must too including the crypt and really a great respite from the heat.
Angela L — Google review
Absolutely beautiful cathedral! The architecture is impressive from both outside and inside. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and highly decorated with paintings. It's definitely worth a visit if you're in Cremona.
Ar. R — Google review
A fantastic cathedral. We went to mass which was incredible with voices of the choir like angels. And what a beautiful church. The art is beautiful. Plan on at least an hour for a visit. Longer if you attend mass.
Harvey M — Google review
This place is wonderful, the Torrazzo is the 3rd tallest brickwork bell tower in the world, was constructed in 1309. the view from the tower is astonishing
Vlad M — Google review
Imposing and vast, much more than you might reckon for a relatively small city as Cremona. The inside is richly decorated (many reinassance artists contributed to its beautifully preserved frescoes) and the vault awe-inspiring. The church is free to visit - the rest of the complex, for example the bell tower, is not. Don't miss the floor mosaics in the crypt!

Le Vele Acquapark

Water park
Water & Amusement Parks
Le Vele Acquapark is a sprawling leisure complex featuring splash pools, inflatable boats, water slides, and outdoor dining. It is the second largest park of its kind in Italy and offers a wide variety of slides suitable for all ages, from calm to thrilling experiences. The park is known for its attentive staff, impeccable cleanliness, and well-managed queues. While the entrance fee may be slightly high, visitors find it justified by the overall quality of the experience.
This place is perfect. It is clean and modern as can be seen in the photos. All rides were working. Food was nice and normally priced but you can bring your own anyway. We didn't queue on any rides as the park was just opening for the season. Overall the best water park I've been to. Great value for money
David T — Google review
The water park is not bad, we have been going here for more than 4 years, but this year the fee has become too high! First you have to pay more than 20 euros for a ticket, then for a sun lounger (or you will be forced to stay on the wet grass), for a safe locker also 4 euro , for parking another 4 euros. if you need warm water in the shower or a hairdryer, there is also an additional charge for this. Add to all this cost the cost of water during the day, coffee, snacks and in the end - 100 euros per day per couple. As for me , it is too high price. Also notice that on the weekends there are long lines to get an inflatable ring for slides, have to wait about 20-30 minutes.
Ольга Т — Google review
It was nice, clean and prices as any other aquapark.. however there is very little for adults to do. This is child orioented and compared to other aqua parks in europe its small. But also price was ok in comparison
Linda S — Google review
Le Vele – Unfortunately, a huge disappointment!!! We visited Le Vele hoping for a fun family day, but it turned into a frustrating and unpleasant experience. The park was overcrowded with school trips and summer camps. Teenagers were left without supervision, cutting in lines, being loud and rude – and lifeguards did absolutely nothing to manage the chaos. To make things worse, both of my sons had their water shoes stolen. One pair was found in another area by chance, the other never recovered. The only positive moment came thanks to Veronika and Aurora from the reception, who were kind, understanding and helped by giving one of my sons a spare pair of flip-flops. We're very grateful to them! Overall, the park may look appealing online, but in reality it is poorly managed, lacks safety, and offers a stressful experience. Not recommended for families. There are much better water parks in the area.
Kinga — Google review
Staff is very friendly and nice. Park is great clean and no long lines to wait. Very cool slides.

I think this aquapark is so bad. Life guards don't care about ANY People in the pool. Nobody Cares about your items (somebody stole my slippers that are 60€). Huge line to the pool, and to the slides. And very expensive tickets.

Ponte Gobbo - Hunchbacked Bridge

Mentioned on

Hiking area
Ponte Gobbo, also known as the Hunchbacked Bridge, is a landmark bridge with a rich history dating back to Roman times. Rebuilt in the 17th century, it features an irregular up and down path and is characterized by its humpback structure supported by eleven stone arches of different height and width. This iconic bridge is a symbol of Bobbio town and is closely linked to the legend of Saint Columbanus and the Devil.
Not only have I been staying in Italy’s most beautiful village (2019). Bobbio is located in the heart of Val Trebbia, a valley described by Ernest Hemingway as "the most beautiful in the world". I discovered last night: “Historians have speculated that Bobbio was the town in which Leonardo da Vinci completed the Mona Lisa. Carla Glori in December 2011 has published her book Enigma Leonardo:decifrazioni e scoperte where the background of the portrait has been identified as the landscape of Bobbio.
Rob S — Google review
Really cool historic bridge with a stunning view. We parked outside the town, just next to the bridge. There's nothing much around, but it was worth the hour drive for us.
Miak O — Google review
Beautiful place, in fact the village has been awarded as the most beautiful village in Italy couple of years back. I fully agree with that! Since we went on Xmas day, there were literally nobody around. The drive through the hill (last 10-15mins of drive) is bit difficult since the width of the road is just enough for one vehicle. But with almost no traffic, seems to be ok. I love to visit the tourist places when it is empty, and I am glad I picked the Xmas day for the visit. There is a restaurant near this bridge, but was closed. The village also was very quite. Just my kind of place!

Amazing medieval bridge below which is an area of river perfect for swimming. Lots of families, my children had a great time swimming about looking at the fish. Some shade under the arches of the bridge, recommend taking a picnic.

Rivalta Castle, located just outside of Piacenza in the medieval hamlet of Rivalta-Trebbia, is a privately owned castle that offers tours of its historic rooms and artifacts. The castle, which has a history dating back 1500 years, sits on a large hill overlooking the Trebbia River and provides stunning views.
This hotel is very nice and worked well for us since we were traveling on a motorcycle. It rained for the few days we stayed so having the restaurant and lounge on site meant we didn't get wet trying to find a meal or a drink. You can tour the old castle but you will need to book in advance if you need an English guide. Tour packages start at 14 euro person and 35 euro for the English guide that lasts an hour and a half then the tours go up in price and substance after that. If there is one thing I did find quite disappointing was for the price we paid to stay the breakfast was very limited and plain. So if you want quaint and romantic this place is nice. If you're on a budget but are thinking of spending some extra cash to stay here I would say search around the area then come sightseeing. Safe Travels

Getting caught up on reviews/pics from out trip to Italy in May/June 2024. What an amazing castle! The owner/family still lives there, but has opened the castle for tours. The history of the castle goes back some 1500 years. It’s on a large hill overlooking the Trebbia River, in the province of Piacenza, Italy. Many of the rooms in the castle are “as is”… as they have been for centuries. So much history there, from prisoners to royal guests from all over Europe. It really is a very cool place to visit, good for families as well!
Jim N — Google review
Would be a great trip but if you are not Italian, the tour guides are extremely inhospitable and rude. They do not try to hide their xenophobia. In certain rooms they refuse to speak anything but Italian, and they will not make eye contact with anyone who does not. We were dismissed quickly and the visit was not worth the money. I agree with other reviews, the staff make this a must-miss and unpleasant experience.
Sara C — Google review
This could be a fantastic experience if only the (still living) descendants weren't so selfish and exclusive. For instance: you can't take photos inside the castle; wonder why? me too! Also, the rooms and most of the castle isn't true to its origin: it's rebuilt, not restored. Not recommended.

Rocca Sforzesca di Soncino is a medieval military castle that has been preserved in its ancient glory. The castle features four stout towers, crenellations, moat and drawbridge, giving visitors a glimpse into the past when it was under siege by enemies of Milan's Sforza clan. While the inside of the manor is undergoing restoration, there are still plenty of opportunities to capture beautiful photos and explore the lower chambers, main tower, and walls.
Great castle, 7€ per adult to wander through the hallways, rooms, courtyard and raised walkways with nice views of the surrounding countryside. There's 2 small museums inside and tickets get you entrance to them and a few others around town. Not much explanation as to what many of the rooms and spaces were used for. One room has some furniture like a bedroom and the upper kitchen is labeled, but not much else. None of the information signs I noticed had English (not surprisingly) but there is cell reception for translate. Tickets are across from the entrance in the building with the wooden slats.
Richard — Google review
Although the inside of this great manor is going through a major restoration (late summer 2023) there are plenty of beautiful photos to shoot. Take your time to walk around the whole perimeter to enjoy the architecture of the massive wall surrounding the Castle. One major flaw is (IMO) the presence of a tennis court right NEXT to this beautiful ancient manor!! Still worth a visit though. Have fun.

Truly amazing place mostly unknown by tourists. Part of the itinerary of the city in a multi-entrance ticket costing only 7 Euros. Have fun visiting the entire castle. Added bonus: archeological museum inside documenting the evolution from Celtic to Roman to Medieval.

Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Lombardy, Castello di Chignolo Po stands as a stunning example of an 18th-century patrician residence, often referred to as 'the Versailles of Lombardy.' This enchanting castle serves not only as a museum showcasing the art and customs of its time but also offers visitors a glimpse into the opulent lives of Lombard and Venetian nobility.

Beautiful recovery of this castle by a private owner. 2 guided tours for medieval and baroque (in Italian only I think), 75 minutes by tour: better put a lunch break in between. The guides are fantastic and provide a very exhaustive explanation of the castle history. Worth the visit.

Nothing special. Private property, cannot go anywhere
Fabio S — Google review
An hour drive from MIlano for nothing, as we could not enter with our dog, as only small dogs are allowed. This vital piece of information is missing on the Castel's site and is not mentioned anywhere else. Shame, as small dogs are often much noisier and much worse behaving, than friendly and well trained bigger dogs. A policy in need of re-thinking or a statement on the site is due.

Zoo
Nature & Parks
Oasi di Sant'Alessio is a medieval castle grounds and naturalistic parkland that offers a unique experience for visitors. The park is known for its rich native wildlife and educational shows, making it a popular attraction in Sant'Alessio con Vialone. While the park has some issues with empty enclosures and few birds, the walk around it is still pleasant. One of the highlights is the hummingbird/butterfly house, where visitors can observe these fascinating creatures up close.
Nice environment to spend a day off with them homies! In my opinion 51€ for two adults, a child and an infant, it's quite high, but they have a lot of animals and the park it's quite big, so it's understandable! We enjoyed ourselves a lot!
Andreea C — Google review
A park with a huge potential but that unfortunately it's having some problems and this is something that you will notice during your visit. Hope that in a near future they will be able to solve them. There are many empty enclosures (some broken) and most of them with few birds. The park is in a nice environment and the walk around it is pleasant. The most interesting part is the hummingbird/butterfly house, where you can walk around hummingbirds.
Xavier B — Google review
A lovely concept, but the fact that the owner is running the place alone, and doesn't want help, has lead to several empty cages and poor conditions for some of the animals (dirty water for large birds that require changes daily). There are also several areas that seem to have been abandoned completely, and handrails that are completely detached due to a lack of upkeep. My advice is to hire more qualified hands that can help at least change water for these beautiful animals and give them at least a dignified life in captivity and invest in proper general maintenance.
Dmkng1289 — Google review
Nice for a saturday walk if it’s not too hot. Unfortunately I feel like the place is a bit sad as most attractions are closed or missing animals… and for the price it costs it’s def a bit too much. There should be more investment to improve it. Overall a nice thing to do with the kids around here as there aren’t so many options.

A magical place for children in the heart of Oasi Sant'Alessio. My a little baby and I loved it. Parco della Preistoria in Rivolta d'Adda (CR) offers a delightful experience for families with young children who are fascinated by dinosaurs. The park features lifelike dinosaur recreations along walking trails that wind through a forested area. Visitors can also enjoy a train ride around the park, with a stop at a playground halfway through the journey.
What a great experience! I took my two children and they both enjoyed the park. We took the train and got off at the half way point. The train ride is about 10/15 minutes and takes you around the park. At the half way point, there is a big playground and children had so much fun. We took a walk, explored the stops along the way and had a blast finding our way through the labyrinth. The walk is a bit tiring for children, but you can find places to stop along the way to take a break. You can also find a botanical garden, a small museum and restaurants/bar.

Prehistory park of over 100 hectares of forest which features 30 reconstructions of prehistoric animals (including prehistoric men), about a hundred animals in semi-freedom, a botanical itinerary with marked plants, natural environments (such as: a marsh, meadows, lakes, etc.), areas equipped for picnic, bars, playgrounds, a labyrinth, fossil exhibits, etc., all along a shaded path.
Maurizio M — Google review
Nice place for families. The park is an interesting experience if you have children. The tickets are not cheap and I would expect dinosaurs reproductions bigger than that.
Angelo A — Google review
Had a great day 4 hours walking around seeing all the dinosaurs and the live animals. Visited both bars, very friendly staff. Myself, my wife and our dog enjoyed ourselves.
David C — Google review
This park is lovely for a long Spring walk with young kids, especially if they are dinosaurs crazy. The reproductions are good (although not perfect) and they are well spaced out. The bar served good food (although mainly fried) and the service is very fast. The playground is nice and has plenty of benches for the tired parents to sit on. The entry price is a little steep for the local market and it's a shame it does NOT include a ride on the little road train. Foreign families would not find this price that high. Finally, the maze is simple but great for younger children, who will not get lost even if they enter on their own. A nice addition.

Ponte Coperto, also known as the Covered Bridge of Pavia, is a charming stone-arched bridge that spans the River Ticino. This historic bridge connects the city center with the Borgo Ticino district and features a covered walkway with a small chapel in its center. The bridge's unique structure consists of five arches and two portals at its ends.
Beautiful and fantastic place for quiet moments. The hike beside the river is a relaxing experience worthy to try. You can sit and have your meal on the river bank and enjoying the scenery around.

Scot S — Google review
A nice historical bridge that tells a story despite being rebuilt. The bridge is considered an icon of Pavia and still retains a charm across the river. There are viewing points along the 2-way bridge. In the middle of the bridge, there is a small chapel though it is not always open. Across the river, there is a statue on the left dedicated to the people (often, the ladies) who used to wash clothes along the river.
T K — Google review
The Bridge is well worth a visit it's unique I believe it's a rebuild as it was bombed during the 2nd WW but it's great to see lots of people socialising on it . I also like the sculpture of the Washer Woman dedicated to all the scrubbers who washed there laundry in the Ticcino River before the wonderful invention of the washing machine .
Amanda E — Google review
Really nice bridge to see. Not much to do around. Though I’d recommend making a picture at the statue of the guy with the cannon pointing towards the bridge/city. Nice spot

Ponte Coperto is very famous point for walking and enjoying peaceful nature around the Ticino river. It's very soothing and relaxing to walk around ponte after hectic daily routine.
Ehtisham B — Google review
When reading about Pavia, the Ponte Coperto is mentioned as one of its highlights. While it's definitely not something you see every day, it's also definitely not very picturesque. The bridge is still very much in use and only has narrow sidewalks. The amount of traffic crossing the bridge is huge, so it's a noisy and smelly experience crossing it on foot. View from the bridge is nice, but not spectacular. Been there, seen it, that's it.

Best time to visit: At dusk where one could enjoy the breeze and admire the sunset. You will find many vendors selling goods and wares. Italy with its great interest and passion for architecture and history has some of the world’s most interesting and ancient bridges. Water & Amusement Parks
Leolandia is a fantastic amusement park that offers a wide range of attractions for both kids and adults. Visitors can enjoy thrilling roller coasters, water rides, and miniature models of famous Italian landmarks. The park is well-maintained with plenty of dining options and restroom facilities. It's recommended to arrive early to avoid crowds, as the waiting times for rides are generally short.
This amusement park is ideal for younger children, offering plenty of gentle, less-scary rides. While the attractions aren’t as elaborate or themed as those at Gardaland or Movieland, they deliver classic amusement-park fun in a well-designed, well-maintained setting. Beyond the rides, the park includes a small farm, a reptile house and aquarium, “Mini-Italy,” and several cheerful playgrounds scattered around the grounds. Buying tickets online in advance will save you money.

Great place for younger children, height limits on some rides (105cm & 120cm) so worth keeping this in mind before you visit. Was a hot June day, plenty of wet areas to cool down but they are a bit manic so need to supervise young ones Bought our tickets in advance, and walked right in Food was responsibly priced, and the pizza I had was really good!
Adam B — Google review
Nice place for younger children that want to experience rides. However, we were bit disappointed about Thomas the train been on service on that day so we couldn't experience it. We were waiting for it and after asking to one of the staff members we discovered that wasn't operating. Was a quite day so we didn't experience any queue. I don' t think is worth waiting 45min or more for a ride on peak season. Overall was a nice experience, my son had so much fun and had the possibility to experience different rides that he never tried before

Definitely interesting if you have kids and a spare day near Milan, though underwhelming if you’ve been to other parcs in Europe/US. It’s really geared to young kids, teenagers and up would quickly get bored. The parc itself is small but spacious, and clean. The only downside is the access roads; whover design the last couple of kms of entrance to the olace must have truly hated the parc (or people in general). Expect to waste about 30’ sitting in the car from the moment you see the entrance sign at a distance till you actually cross it

Unfortunately they have beit's becoming a place where the crowds exceed the livability just to pursuit profit. The ambience is actually well done and plenty of services. But you'll easily spend more time queuing (average 20 mins) instead of enjoying carousel.

Faunistic Park Le Cornelle, located in Valbrembo, is a modern wildlife sanctuary that goes beyond the traditional concept of a zoo. Established in 1981 by Angelo Ferruccio Benedetti, this park focuses on the conservation of endangered species like the majestic white Bengal tiger within naturalistic habitats. Spanning an impressive 100,000 square meters, it houses a diverse array of mammals, birds, and reptiles from around the globe.

One if the best experiences we had as a family visiting Bergamo, its a must if you like animal parks. The animals was in great condition very clean in great areas and well taken care of.

We came on a rainy day but the place is so nice we didn't even notice. I saw some animals for the first time in my life that live in tropical areas. We had only one hour to visit but it was not enough to see everything. We will come back for sure.

Luckly found this zoo when trying to find things to do in the area while on holiday. What a surprise. Very cheap at €24 to get in and was huge. All animals were in good condition and the enclosure were top notch. So much to see and do while there. Definitely worth a visit. To get there we got a 2 buses and then walked about 20 mins. So not really easy accessible if dont have a car but is do able.

This is an amazing zoo! Good selection of animals. Lot of trees and plants. Clean spaces for animals. Great idea regarding safari train for kids and giraffe feeding. You will see more animals in state owned zoos but it is hard to beat the experience you can have here.

This is a really cool place! It’s a bit hard to reach from Bergamo if you don’t have a car, but not impossible. There’s quite a large variety of animals, some of them in really nice habitats (like the exotic birds). There are many restaurants and places where you can eat your own food, even some playgrounds for kids. There’s a train that takes you around the place and it costs €2. It was not very crowded when we arrived, but we visited on a Saturday at 5PM. By the way, the ticked is €18 if you arrive 3 hours before closing (and 3 hours is more than enough if you don’t have young children). Indeed, some spaces are small for the animals (like the elephants, rhinos, or the big cats) and they looked quite sad. Not necessarily not cared for, but a bit depressy. In my opinion, it’s a really cool place, with lots of animals and if you visit Bergamo, it’s definitely not to be missed!
