Waterfalls
Pha Suam Waterfall is a beautiful natural spot where you can spend the afternoon cooling off and immersing yourself in the stunning surroundings. The waterfall may have low water flow, but it still offers a nice experience. It's recommended to pair a visit here with nearby attractions if you have a couple of hours. While there is no entry fee, finding the waterfall might be a bit tricky, but following the sound of water will lead you there.
What a great view , i really liked it , it's not a busy waterfall and sometimes you can enjoy it alone ..
KHALID A — Google review
Beautiful - came just at the start of rainy season so didn’t get to see the waterfall if full action spilling over all the sides but never the less beautiful! No entry fee here with directions to get to the waterfall being a little difficult (just follow the sound of the water not the signs) be careful I got bit by about 5 hornet wasps here !!! OUCH! If you are time poor it’s not as impressive as the East waterfalls!
Sophie C — Google review
Beautiful place! Not busy. Local people was excited to see tourists. There is no resort or Restaurant, everything is abandoned. Anyway is a great adventure, not hard to find but no letters, just following Google Maps to arrive
Emilia R — Google review
Nice waterfall, not too spectacular. The whole place seems abandoned
Maciej S — Google review
The place is dead. There seemed to be a resort but just left ruins. Still a cool place and just a tiny waterfall. Big broken bridge too, i still like it there, but no shops or anything no more just nature.
Niko E — Google review
The road to visit is rough.Regular cars are not allowed in. The waterfall is small because there is no water. There are few tourists.I recommend you to visit during the rainy season.
갓바위 — Google review
Amazing place to visit. Not very big and not very much to see but it still a ice experience to walk trought the Bamboo bridge than just look around then wall back on the metal bridge and take pictures of the Bamboo bridge haha After your walk go and eat some local food at the market. Take care of the spiders hanging around.
Humanizer — Google review
I have inserted a picture of the current water flow. Sign at entrance said the flow was low, but my friends and I had no problem with the amount of water that was flowing. It was quite nice. I wouldn’t drive more than 20-30 minutes for this waterfall alone, however, if you have a couple hours, I would pair it with the lake and fish cave that you also get access too. All for 100 baht, that is not a bad deal if you have transportation to move you around.

Tad Fane Resort

Resort hotel
Nature & Parks
Tad Fane Resort is a humble hotel nestled in the rainforest, offering rustic rooms with balconies, a restaurant, and a bar. The resort provides access to Tad Yuang Waterfall and other hidden falls, where visitors can enjoy stunning vistas from viewing platforms and swim in the pools. Despite experiencing slower business, the exemplary hospitality of the staff ensures a memorable experience. Additionally, guests can partake in activities such as ziplining for an extra charge.
I only vist the viewpoint to see the water fall. The waterfall is nice as show in picture. This is the place when you do zipline. Entrance fee and parking fee will be applied for a visit
Nicha T — Google review
Bad place. Don’t go. Very expensive place! Not nice people. Very touristic and will not help at all. If you order tea with the breakfast, they don’t understand. Wauw. Breakfast was without eggs. The pancake WITH banana was WITHOUT banana. 😤 The walls in the bungalow has a lot moisture, sink and the tap was leaking. Location is nice but you pay a lot for it.
Laura Z — Google review
Went for the zipline over the waterfall. Very average food at almost double the of most places. Wouldn't recommend eating or staying at the resort just enjoy the view and zipline if you can afford it as its over 1 million kip with the video which isn't done professionally I over priced but as a one off treat its still worth it just check what the weather as during the rain you will struggle to see the waterfall due to the mist.
Michael G — Google review
The accommodation has a top location, but is not worth your money. The resort is located inside the touristic waterfall-area. Manager was unfriendly to us. Room with fan was 400.000 kip. I think that is overpriced when the bathroom is old and full of ants, bedroom is small, ventilator works half and there is nothing extra such as a fridge. I don’t recommend this accommodation!
Marlien S — Google review
The place is absolutely beautiful. But the staff didn't seem to be so welcoming to international visitors - it may just be that many seem not to speak English. The rooms were around 400,000 per night. Not so expensive given the location, but it did not feel welcoming so I didn't go to check the rooms and didn't stay here so not sure on the room quality. One thing I don't like is that you have to pay the parking fees even if you are just going in briefly to check out the rooms. It means you may end up paying twice if you go to find somewhere else to stay rather than visiting with your bags. That said, the view from of the waterfall from the view point in the resort is really beautiful! You should definitely take a look at that, but maybe stay elsewhere!
Angie — Google review
The place is nice and peaceful, the room is typical nothing special. The price is worth to pay for the atmosphere and include breakfast. And entrance fee with parking fee you can return the receipts and get the money back when you check out. Early in the morning and evening is really beautiful and quiet to sit and enjoy the place. Recommend to try.
Pasan S — Google review
Stayed here overnight, simple, rustic bungalows that were above expectations given the location! A little on the small side if a twin share but certainly manageable. Quiet, cool and peaceful after the hordes of day troopers have left! The restaurant was fine, western and Laos options - not particularly creative but decent enough. They are extending the restaurant for the day trippers so expect it to get more crowded during the day... I would certainly return to stay again.
Dean C — Google review
3.5 stars. The main reason to eat there is for the amazing view over the waterfalls. We ordered the green curry and panang curry. Green Curry was pretty spicy, the panang curry quite oily and salty. But for a quick lunch it does the trick. Prices reasonable considering the location - 60,000 kip per dish.

Tad Yeung Waterfall

Mentioned on

National park
Nature & Parks
Waterfalls
Tad Gneuang Waterfall is a stunning twin waterfall located in a rugged jungle setting. Visitors can enjoy the picturesque sight of the water cascading over rocks from a bridge at the top, and then descend down stairs for an up-close experience of the powerful water drop-off. The site offers amenities such as parking, a cafe, and souvenir shops. While the trail and stairs may be slippery in rainy weather, reaching the base of the waterfall rewards visitors with an incredibly beautiful view.
There are walking trails at the top of the falls with some short bridges to let you access more of the area. While the first bridge seems a bit dodgy, it's quite sturdy. The trail down to the base is steep and you have to duck down as there are trees growing across the trails. It's a beautiful and peaceful place. There are stalls at the top selling all kinds of local wares and foods.
Sam K — Google review
This medium-sized waterfall is a must-visit! You can feel the freshness, beauty, and peace of nature, but unfortunately, you can’t swim in it. There’s a cute little pavilion that makes for a great photo spot. The way down is a bit steep, and you’ll have to bend down a few times because of the trees along the way. Inside the park, you’ll find restaurants, ice cream, and water for sale. The path is beautifully decorated, and there are clean bathrooms. There’s a dirt parking lot. The waterfall is pretty close to the parking lot. There’s a small entrance fee to get into the park.
Prachyan S — Google review
Such an incredible waterfall. The nature around it is breathtaking it feels like you’re in a dream. During the rainy season, the waterfall is full and powerful , making it even more magical. I even saw a fox there it felt like a scene from a fairytale.☀️💦
Za Z — Google review
I finally visited one of Laos’s most famous waterfalls from my bucket list. Going in the rainy season was amazing surrounded by green mountains, water, and fog. The entrance fee was 50,000 Kip, a bit pricey but the view was worth it. I also got to learn some local culture and take lots of beautiful photos. Definitely coming back with my family next time.
Rith P — Google review
Great place to visit you need to be fit if you want to walk down the track to the lower viewing platform the track is vrey steep and narrow but well worth the trek. Plenty of sights from the top wirh good coffee shops and restaurants also lots of souvenir shops. Worth a visit.
Stuart W — Google review
Beautiful and huge, so much water power that it is windy and rains from under. Much better than Tad Fane, but still overpriced, with the amount of money they make on entry fees + parking fees the infrastructure should be so much better. Also, the scooters parking area it's all mud.
Federico R — Google review
Very pretty and relatively high waterfall, you can walk down the stairs close to the water.
Artur P — Google review

The Mercure French Village is a beautiful hotel and a lovely place to stay. We really appreciated having direct access to the park, and our room was modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and always helpful, which made the stay even better. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of foods. The only downside for me was the smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom but overall we truly enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful trip here with my family. However, there were a few issues regarding our room. Fortunately, a very helpful staff member assisted us. Her name is SUNI. She enthusiastically advised me on the room options, pricing, and the services available, which made my trip much smoother. Due to the unexpected nature of my work, I had to leave the hotel before I could thank her in person. Please help convey my gratitude to Ms. SUNI. Thank you to everyone for making my vacation even more wonderful. See you!
Chung L — Google review
I came back here after a year, this time with my family on my birthday. The weather in November up here is quite harsh in my opinion =))) so my experience wasn’t exactly perfect. The food didn’t suit my taste, the room was noisy because of the neighbors, and the interior and architecture seem to have deteriorated. These issues were already present the first time I visited in May 2024, but they still haven’t been improved. Perhaps the only thing that really impressed me was the customer service. A family member of mine had dinner here and ended up with food poisoning. Fortunately, a staff member named SUNI and the medical team quickly came to help and were extremely attentive. Luckily, my family member is okay now. I hope that next time I come, the hotel will still be operating and will have renovated the rooms so the trip can be more enjoyable. You should visit here in spring or summer for a better experience, as winter can be quite rough

Outstanding. I travelled with 2 elderlies, one not too mobile. They had wheelchairs waiting for us and helping us with luggage. If we had any concerns, they fixed it straight away. They communicated really well. I read all sorts of reviews re confusing check in ..as soon as u get there, look for a mercure staff in uniform and they would take care of you I read that the rooms had thin walls...true but probably as the neighbours were walking past but never lasting more than 1 min Breakfast..good selection and farah was so kind to my mum as she was patient with howshe wanted her coffee Dinner buffet...good price and quality..even juice and water were inc Maison du roi..great food To finish it, we forgot a handbag in the room and contacted them while we were on the cable car....they r bringing it down as I am writing the review. What can I say...memorable and super pleasant stay. Looks chaotic but they somehow have it worked out really well. Thank u mercure staff We would be back soon with friends and the rest of the family

We are satisfied with the services of Mercure Hotel. Seamless checked-in and great selection of food inside the French Village. We are also grateful to the very attentive Ms Miyeon Nga of F&B during the breakfast service. The services of the Mercure Hotel staff made our visit memorable and enjoyable.

Ms. Fo Quynh Stella was very nice and provided very good service and she is very helpful. Was amazing idea to stay in this hotel while we had a beautiful day and night at bana hills.

First time staying at Mercure French Village. I love the design of the hotel; it makes me feel like I am in the middle of a French city. I really appreciate the excellent service from Lucia. She added me on WhatsApp and promptly replied to all of my requests. During our trip to Ba Na Hills, there were many things I didn’t understand, and she assisted me by answering all my questions. I am truly grateful to her. We also had the chance to have dinner at L’ETable! The food was amazing, and the service from Mira was exceptional. She took great care of us during dinner at L’ETable and also during breakfast. We were really happy with her service. **Things to Improve:** This time, our room had a cleanliness issue, which I hope the hotel can improve. **Tips for Travelers:** If you book a stay at Hotel Mercure French Village, there is a dedicated area for you to drop off your car and check in. They can sell you discounted cable car and Ba Na Hills tickets, so you won’t have to queue with other travelers. There is a specific cable car reserved just for hotel guests. Also, the next day, from 06:00–06:05 am, 06:30–06:35 am, and 07:00–07:05 am, the hotel offers an early cable car service to the Golden Bridge exclusively for hotel guests. This allows you to escape the crowds and take photos in peace.

Nature & Parks
Set amid lush greenery, this popular park features a wave pool, lazy river, slides & hot springs.
I was able to enter without waiting at all! The park is quite spacious, but there are staff members along the way who kindly guide you, so you never get lost. Towels are not provided, so make sure to bring your own. It was super fun because there was almost no waiting time for the attractions — I could enjoy them one after another! The park wasn’t crowded, so I could move around comfortably. I highly recommend playing in the water park zone and finishing your day with a relaxing hot spring bath. There’s a dragon-shaped attraction in the main zone that seems to operate for only about an hour between 1 and 2 p.m., and it’s incredibly fun — definitely a must-try! Highly recommended!

We stayed here for a night at the hotel. The room was good, the staff was friendly. My boyfriend was even brought a small cake in honor of his birthday. That was very nice. Overall the place is nice, located amongst picturesque mountains. Large swimming pools where you can take a refreshing dip. For hot springs, however, it is better to come not in hot weather. All in all it's pretty good, but I would like to enjoy the sounds of nature. Instead of this, from everywhere you can hear only music from speakers and something incomprehensible in Vietnamese. It's not appropriate at all! It was impossible to relax because of this, so it was very noisy. And also on the territory there was construction, which also very much interfered with the enjoyment of nature. I liked the bird park. BUT!!! Please do not keep the birds on a chain!!! They also want to move freely!

It is a huge place with free buggy car and no need to wait for a long time because they always ready and most of the staff there speaks English. They have a lot of pool, but one of them isn't operating during my visit. Definitely a cool place to go with family, they have a lot of food area with affordable prices. Buying ticket in advance is very recommended. Be cautious with which special bath you choose because some of the ticket don't inclusive all in. It's a bit confusing with so many type of bath, but you'll enjoy all the relaxation bath there including the hot springs bath. I just wish they would give easier zonation so I didnt have to be confused with all the area mapping. Overall a good place to relaxing onsen but if you're with kids the water park, jurassic park would be nice area for them.

The place is good for people less than 90 kilograms. The ticket price is available in door. You can reach by taxi. I prefer if you can ride motorbike it’s better and you will enjoy the landscape.

Looking for a place to relax and have some fun in Da Nang? Than Tai Hot Spring Park is a great choice. Not only can you soak in the healthy hot mineral water, but you can also do a bunch of other cool stuff like slide down the lazy river or use the sauna. With the awesome scenery and tons of different things to do, it’s a perfect spot for a day of relaxing and having a good time.

Hi everyone, we visited this place recently as a group, our experience was great, the place is big, many activities to take part in but take note most of them are for children, this place is not mainly aimed at adults but families, both on land and water activities, very nice place for children, we loved the different baths available cold, warm, hot, and the mud bath especially, worth your visit there, not sure if you are going to go here more then one time, the food was acceptable but not the most tasty in my opinion, as expected from buffet made for so many customers, views are nice just check the pictures before going

Expensive shd follow sunworld Danang downtown. Entry shd be free and charge separately for all the shows and events separately which will attract more reasonable crowd.

Wouldn’t recommend people to go unless you’re like a hot springs fan. Our tour guide left us there from 10am to 2.30pm and thank goodness i signed up for the spa which was okay. Wouldn’t spend that money for stuff like this honestly. You have to pay extra for the spa and the mud bath. Hot springs are divided into a few sections but they are all situated at the same spot. Was kind of clean and they provide slippers if you don’t wanna wear yours. Locker room was pretty far away from these places. Didn’t go to the water park and bird park but if you wanna go to these places they have a driver to pick you up which will save you a lot of time. Remember to get your own waterproof phone bag if u wanna come because they don’t have a place for you to leave your stuff close to the places with water. Only place to keep your stuff is the locker room. Buffet in the restaurant wasn’t really good but it’s far away so it’s hard to get food elsewhere. Wouldn’t come back here again honestly. Places i visited: Spa (8/10) Sauna (7.5/10) hot springs (7.5/10) restaurant for lunch (6/10)

Historical landmark
Sights & Landmarks
My Son is a captivating historical site located in the serene Duy Phu Commune of Quang Nam Province, approximately 69 km southwest of Danang. This UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases the remnants of Hindu temples built between the 4th and 14th centuries, characterized by stunning red brick structures adorned with intricate carvings. Once an imperial city during the Cham dynasty, My Son served as a significant cultural and religious hub for this ancient civilization.
Highly recommend adding this to your Vietnam itinerary! The site is beautiful and has so much history. You are able to walk around and go inside many of the buildings. There are three sites to visit and there is a pavilion which has a show a couple times a day. There is also a small restaurant on the property.
Meganlynne18 — Google review
We visited very early today (~7AM) and we were the first guests to enter the area which was very nice. Overall we had a nice morning there and the temples, altars and other Chamba buildings were very interesting. Can highly recommend to do the tour with a guide.
Michael S — Google review
Nice historic site made of ancient ruined Hindu temples easily accessible from Danang and Hoi An. We visited in low rainy season and were the only visitors on site which was quite spectacular in many ways ! If you feel like walking a bit, it is only a 2-km walk from the entrance to the site and quite a lovely journey. There is a 15-minute traditional show at the end of the tour to close the visit. First show of the day this time of year was at 9:45am. Therefore all tourist buses and groups are not aiming to arrive on site before 8:30-9:00. I did not feel it was so impressive but definitely a nice and interesting visit.
Gilles P — Google review
Was very nice. There is shows and you can just walk imdividually if you feel like. There is also tours if you like that. Entry is 150 k Dong. It is so well maintained and definitely worth a visit. The Temples are impressive.

A great little morning trip out of Hoi An. Very interesting site in a really lovely location. Come with a guide and you’ll learn a lot. We did an early morning guided tour from Hoi An, arriving at My Son at 6.30am and it was perfect time, so quiet and you got to have a really open and comfortable experience.
Emily M — Google review
Visiting My Son was an unforgettable experience! The site is incredibly atmospheric, surrounded by lush greenery, and the ancient temples and ruins are absolutely fascinating. Walking through the area really gives you a sense of the history and culture of the Champa Kingdom. We were amazed by the architecture and the peacefulness of the site. It’s less crowded than other tourist spots, which makes it even more special to explore at your own pace. A visit to My Son is a must for anyone traveling to Vietnam, both for history lovers and anyone who enjoys beautiful, serene landscapes.
Mathilde B — Google review
Mesmerizing historical site, featuring ancient Cham temples set amidst lush, green landscapes. The intricate stone carvings and ruins reflect a rich cultural heritage and impressive architectural skill. Walking through the sanctuary feels like stepping back in time. Guided tours enhance understanding, though it can get hot, so bring water and sun protection. A must-visit for history enthusiasts and culture lovers exploring Vietnam.
LEVI S — Google review
Beautiful place, although brickwork looks slightly dated and in need of some maintenance. All jokes aside, this Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is an incredible UNESCO world heritage site that is definitely worth it if you are in the region. There is so much to see when walking amongst these ruins that would have been a prominent religious place in their day. The carvings, sculptures, and feeling of walking up stairs and through chambers that people worshipped in centuries ago is a timeless reminder of our human spirit. Logistically, We rode a scooter there from Hoi An, sweated through our clothes in the heat, then had coconut coffees. Magical.

Laguna is a stunning golf course. I would recommend any golf enthusiast to try it out. I am my friends were blown away by the landscape. The course isn't the toughest, and the caddies were helpful. The food was generally good at the clubhouse, too. My only gripe was about some of the policies and other customers. I didn't feel the need to deduct a star, but it needed to be noted. There is a policy of no driving the golf cart on the fairway. However, a team of locals behind us were allowed to. We were told one of them had an injury, but then why was he on the course? Also, another group we ran across were quite impolite an uncivilised. Not exactly the course's problem, but it did give some wrong impression

Spectacular in every way. Awesome hold course. Great layout. Greens could have been better but they have just been sanded. I highly recommend.
Patrick O — Google review
Couple of things that really wet a bad tone here... 1. Driving range charge for balls .. at a place like this that is ridiculous. 2. Caddie made me wait until exactly my tee time although I was a 1 ball and teeing off first at 6am 3. Water is charged at $7 usd a bottle... 4. Course condition is horrific, ground staff everywhere blowing non existent leaves whilst the greens die from compaction. The head greenskeeper should be fired immediately. The course layout is great but the condition combined with the cost makes it a hard no from me. I will not be back.
Mike H — Google review
In the condition we played on it’s a 1 star. T box to fairway 8/10 condition, around the greens 4/10 and putting greens1/10. Course should be more forthcoming about the greens rather than hiding behind fancy promo names why there are specials. Very disappointed as we spent over an hour driving each way to course after flying to Danang . Yes, discounted but if we had known how bad the greens are we would not have played here.
Laura T — Google review
80 mins drive from Danang and gota cross 2 mountains before to reach this course. Nice course layout and terrain. But green very bad condition. Also very slow play and every shot waited for 5 to 10 mins ... 6 over hours to complete 18 holes. Marshals should look at the pace of play. Course layout and terrain 4.5/5 The green and pace of play were bad and therefore I am giving a 3 stars
Adeline N — Google review
I and the most wonderful tome yesterday at this great course. I first saw a picture of the 9th hole in a magazine years ago and that made me always want to go. It lived up to my expectations and more. The service is outstanding and the owners should be very proud of all of the staff, from the greeters, to the girls in the shop, the people in the bar and restaurant and the people in the locker room. The groundstaff working hard were all friendly along with the caddies and course Marshall.. the staff here are ALL Outstanding and wonderful. The course itself is either my favourite or 2nd favourite in Vietnam, its very close. The design is fantastic, even hole is different. I absolutely loved it.

Lang Co Beach

Lang Co Beach is a popular tourist destination located in a fishing village. It offers beautiful sandy shores and clean waters, making it an ideal spot for a refreshing getaway. While the beach lacks some facilities and activities, there are excellent restaurants nearby offering fresh seafood. The surrounding tropical scenery and translucent sea create a dream-like atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. Access to the beach is through the road of a resort, but the journey itself is scenic and worth experiencing.
If you love tourist traps this ins't the place for you, this is an authentic Vietnamese beach/fishing village. The south side of the beach was clean, quiet and tranquil. There are touristy food and drink options to the north although there are plenty of local options in the village. Bring a blanket and buy your drinks in one of the local shops in the village.
Christopher Q — Google review
Cute beach for taking photos but not very clean. Limited options for food and drinks. Da Nang and Hoi An have better beach options, if you have been there already don’t bother stopping here.
M. P — Google review
This is fairly quiet beach when we visited today at 11am. Barely six people were swimming here despite a massive beach. Lots of fresh seafood restaurants line the beach. Unfortunately there are some uncared for trash that line the beach but if you ignore that, the water is very pleasant to swim in.

The beach is surrounded by private properties, so to visit, you have to go through the road of a resort. But the road to get there is beautiful.

Lăng Cô Bay, situated between Da Nang and Huế, is one of Vietnam’s most scenic coastal treasures. With its sweeping crescent of white sand, calm turquoise waters, and lush mountains rising in the background, the bay offers a landscape of remarkable harmony and serenity. Its unspoiled charm and peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal retreat for travelers looking to slow down and connect with nature. For photographers, Lăng Cô Bay provides endless inspiration. From the Hải Vân Pass, the bay unfolds in stunning panoramic views that capture the meeting point of sea, sky, and mountains. On the shoreline, traditional fishing boats, stilt houses, and local life add cultural depth to wide-angle landscapes and storytelling shots. Early mornings and late afternoons offer the most atmospheric light, perfect for capturing the bay in soft golden tones. Beyond its beauty, Lăng Cô is also famous for its fresh seafood, served in local restaurants that overlook the water. This adds a culinary dimension to the experience and creates additional opportunities for cultural photography. Calm, authentic, and photogenic, Lăng Cô Bay is more than just a stop between two cities—it is a destination in its own right, where Vietnam’s central coast reveals its most tranquil side.

GO!(Big C) Supermarket Da Nang is a massive shopping complex in the heart of downtown Da Nang, spanning three floors. The first floor boasts an array of cosmetics, jewelry, and branded clothing counters. On the second floor, visitors can explore a food department store while the third floor houses home appliances and entertainment options like a small cinema and video game city.
It has pretty much everything you need. There are a couple of restaurants inside, lots of clothing stores, and places to buy shoes, including Skechers and other sportswear brands. The grocery section is spread over two floors, so you’ll find a huge range of options. It’s definitely cheaper than buying from convenience stores, and the variety is much better. You can also find stores like Watson’s (or something similar) for all your beauty needs, plus clothes, shoes, and pretty much everything else you might need. It’s a bit packed, but many of the stores inside accept card payments, which is convenient. They even have arcade machines and claw machines, though the claw machines seem impossible to win, which is kind of funny. Overall, if you need to buy groceries or just want to shop for other things, it is the best place to go.
Rhealaine S — Google review
Great store with everything you can possibly need, even souvenirs to bring back home. It is however annoying when you are trying to shop and you have aggressive sales people in every isle trying to pressure you to buy certain things. I just want to shop in peace without being bothered. There is nothing more annoying than having someone stand 2 inches from you for 10 minutes when you clearly tell them you don’t need their help. This and the fact that this store is so packed really tarnished my experience. I have had a few unfriendly cashiers as well which is not my general experience in Vietnam. Aside from that, great bakery.

A Comprehensive Shopping Experience - One-stop shop: This store offers a wide range of products, including coffee, snacks, fresh produce, dried foodstuff, fruits, flowers, shoes, and bags. - Supermarket spread over two floors: With a vast selection of products, you'll find everything you need under one roof. - Food Court: Enjoy a variety of dining options in the on-site Food Court. Highlights - Durian purchase: We bought durian and were pleased with the quality and taste. - Cinema and amusement park: The top floor features entertainment options, including a cinema and amusement park. - Local favorite: We noticed that the store seems to attract more locals than tourists. Shopping Experience - Impressive organization: The store has a well-organized layout, making it easy to navigate. - Price-labelled products: No need for bargaining, as all products have clear price labels. - Convenient shopping: With its comprehensive selection and organized layout, this store offers a convenient shopping experience.
Fu S — Google review
I had a frustrating experience here because of their unfair bag policy. Many shoppers with big backpacks and shoulder bags were allowed to enter, but I was stopped for carrying a simple plastic bag. This makes no sense since a plastic bag is transparent and easy to see into, while backpacks can actually hide items. What made it worse is that I was already inside and had to go back out, leave my bag in the deposit area, take a number, and then later walk back again to claim it. Such an unnecessary hassle ruined the whole shopping experience, and I ended up not buying what I came for. The store itself is fine in terms of products, but I can't recommend it because of the inconsistent and inconvenient rules.
Arvin M — Google review
Largest hypermarket in Da Nang, Vietnam and many locals and tourists go to this place to shop. Seems that it's the cheapest supermarket in Da Nang. However I think the nearby Con Market has better prices. Oh well, at least it's air conditiond and it accept credit cards. Verdict: Con Market is cheaper. But if you want more comfortable shopping experience, then Go Danang it is.

Eating at GoMart in Da Nang is truly a treat. Nothing compares to the pleasure of dining here at GoMart in Dalat. Value for money, all the food, desserts, bread, and movies. Isn't this truly a paradise for the common people? I've had to avoid weekends and public holidays when they're so crowded. I hope more multi-cultural spaces like this open up, and I hope the staff service improves.

This two-level supermarket offers a wide range of products — local, Korean, and some international items. They even sell durians. Inside, there’s a small food court where I saw locals dining. It’s a great place to buy souvenirs such as local coffee, snacks, and more. If you’re paying by card, use the self-service kiosk at the far left of the cashier area to avoid the long queues.

Nestled in the heart of Da Nang, Con Market is a vibrant and historic marketplace that has been captivating visitors since 1940. This sprawling hub spans an impressive 14,000 square meters and features thousands of vendors offering everything from fresh produce to unique clothing and household items.
Con Market is a vibrant explosion of local culture! The endless stalls are packed with souvenirs, quirky tees, and handmade bags—so much to see (but so hard to choose the perfect tee with all the crowds!). The energy here is electric, with tiny restaurants tucked in every corner serving up delicious street food. It’s chaotic in the best way, though definitely not for the claustrophobic! A must-visit for authentic Da Nang vibes—just come early to beat the rush!
Tere W — Google review
I’m not sure what I ate but I ate a bunch of the food served at the market. One was in the dedicated area for food, and the other was a street stall set up in the middle of the market around 4/5pm. It was so delicious I would’ve ordered more had I not already been so full from my meals in the day. This is a wonderful place to get your souvenirs, I got coconut crackers (20k vnd vs 33k vnd in supermarket) and the TOP mango gummies (20k vnd for 100g). It is much more affordable than the supermarket that is nearby.

Con Market in Da Nang is such an iconic spot to explore! It’s packed with local energy and has a huge variety of authentic Central Vietnamese food — from noodles and snacks to fresh fruit and desserts. You can find a bit of everything here, making it a great place to experience real local flavors. It can get a bit crowded and busy, but that’s part of the charm. A must-visit for food lovers looking for an authentic Da Nang experience!

Con Market is a must-visit if you want a true taste of local life. It’s a bustling, energetic market that sells just about everything — food, clothing, household items, handmade goods, and so much more. We even found second-hand clothing for as low as 20,000 VND, which is amazing. Inside the market, we had the best smoothie — a mix of avocado and mango — incredibly fresh and creamy. They had plenty of other smoothie options too, all made right in front of you. If you love authentic markets, great bargains, and local flavor, Con Market is absolutely worth the visit.

Hidden gem for tourists. My parents came here years ago to purchase items and they’re at a very affordable price. Came here with them again this trip and I really enjoyed browsing the stalls. It’s a good mix of locals and tourists who shop here. Depending on when you come, it can get crowded. We highly recommend this stall (see photo) to anyone who’s looking to purchase items. Very friendly, gave us very decent prices and even helped us pick new snacks we didn’t know about. We bought so much stuff for a very reasonable price. The owner’s daughter was running the shop while we were there. She is very friendly and pleasant and made our experience delightful. We went back again to buy more things from this stall 😊
Rachelle 刘 — Google review
Definitely more of a local market than a tourist market. Very narrow passages but easy enough to navigate and worth the visit. Clothes, shoes, toiletries, jewellery, food, produce, homewards... All are available at this bustling market.
Harold J — Google review
Interesting local market with a food court with great avocado drink and very very local. Did not buy any clothes as Han Market was more trendy and better quality but bought some local produce here.

Theme Parks
When exploring Da Nang, Vietnam, a visit to Asia Park is an experience that shouldn't be overlooked. This modern amusement park boasts a stunning Ferris wheel that offers breathtaking views of the city skyline, especially enchanting at night. While it may not be the largest theme park in Southeast Asia, its charm lies in its unique themed areas inspired by various Asian countries and thrilling rides. Visitors often find themselves pleasantly surprised by the fun atmosphere and friendly staff.
Great theme park! Went on a Monday afternoon which was pretty quiet..no long queues and lots of space to walk around and take photos. Great food and drink stalls around to keep you going all evening. Toilets are super clean and fresh too!
Asmeet P — Google review
Pretty decent park – especially if you’re not a fan of crowds. There were literally no lines at all – it felt like we had the whole park to ourselves. On every ride, it was either just a couple of other people or no one else at all. Most of the attractions were closed, but honestly, we went there mainly for one thing – The Queen Cobra. And it didn’t disappoint – super thrilling, a bit scary in a good way, and definitely worth it. There are more rides available for kids, and I think they’d enjoy the park more overall. If you’re planning to go on the Ferris wheel, do it after sunset or around golden hour – the city views are way better with the lights on or with the sun going down. The park itself is really beautiful, clean, and well-designed – definitely some cool spots to take photos or just walk around. But don’t expect to spend a whole day there – 2 to 4 hours tops is more than enough, especially since a lot of stuff isn’t operating. Important tip: bring cash. None of the food or shops inside the park accept cards, which was a bit inconvenient. All in all, it’s a nice park, more suited for families with kids, but I’d still recommend getting the ticket with rides – even if it’s just for the Queen Cobra. Totally worth it for that one ride alone.
JOKER'S — Google review
Fantastic little find, so bright and colourful. My little boy (7) had a blast. You are not allowed to take water or food in but it is not expensive in the park. Bottled water and fizzy pop is around 20k VND, snacks are sold around the park too which are equally inexpensive. We paid for the unlimited tickets at 250k VND for each adult and 125k VND for kiddo - which in comparison to UK theme parks is really cheap. I'm not convinced we kicked the butt out of the 'unlimited' rides but we certainly had a good time. Highly recommended!
Hannah M — Google review
Da Nang Downtown was temporarily closed during our visit, so we couldn’t go inside — but we still stopped to take photos outside. The exterior is modern and stylish, making it a nice backdrop for pictures. Hopefully, next time we visit, it’ll be open so we can experience more of what it has to offer.
Cyril T — Google review
Downtown Đà Nẵng was absolute value for money! The price we paid was more than fair considering how brilliant the rides were. It was lovely being able to stroll around in the evening when it’s cooler — the atmosphere really comes alive after dark. The view from the Sun Wheel is pretty sweet and gives a great perspective of the city lights. And don’t miss the Queen Cobra — hands down one of the best rides I’ve ever been on! Highly recommended for thrill-seekers and families alike.
Regan R — Google review
very fun experience, incredibly good value if you purchase the combo, you can go on as many rides as you like, and don't have to wait long. beautiful views of Danang from the sun wheel, friendly staff. what impressed us the most is it got rained out the first day and they allowed us to come back the next day free of charge, which I thought was very generous.
Anni C — Google review
I honestly don't understand why everyone doesn't visit this park. The structures, monuments, and grounds are all fantastic and very well-maintained, and the best part is that you can get in for free if you just want to walk around and explore all the areas. However, it's worth paying for the pass and enjoying the rides. The views of the city from the Ferris wheel at night are spectacular. If you go with kids, they'll have a blast. And like everything in Vietnam, it's incredibly cheap: for less than $10, you can spend a great afternoon and support the upkeep of this beautiful place.
Laura O — Google review
Some rides show open at the entrance but not actually operating, I hv ridden every single rides that open, there’s no line but hv to wait for more than 5 people to operate the rides, most are short ride but fun cant compared with other famous theme parks but compared with its price much reasonable. the park is not that vast but the rides are quite far from each other. Park open at 4 pm. recommended visiting around sunset. 3/5 for this park.

A good collections of stone artifacts, which gives good information about the long history of pre historic Vietnam. A large museum spread across 2 floors. It can be quite warm if visiting on a sunny hot day. Bring fan and water to keep yourself cool.

One of the best musems we found in Vietnam. The amount of excavation present here is truly outstanding. It speaks volumes on the rich Hindu presence in this region in the past. Being a Hindu myself I feel immensely proud and surprised to understand how ancient this religion actually is.

Most of the artifacts from My Son Sanctuary have been relocated here, and their long history is truly impressive. It’s amazing how well the ancient sandstone bricks have been preserved. The entrance fee is reasonable, and I highly recommend visiting if you have time or are interested in historical artifacts.

This museum offers a breathtaking glimpse into Champa culture, featuring over 400 artifacts on display. Each piece tells a story, showcasing the artistry and heritage of this fascinating civilization. While the museum is definitely worth a visit, it lacks air conditioning, relying instead on a few fans for ventilation, which can make it warm during hotter months. I recommend visiting around 3:30 PM when the temperature is more manageable. Overall, the museum provides a rich and educational experience that is not to be missed for anyone interested in Champa history.

the Champa Sculpture Museum is a gem for anyone curious about Central Vietnam’s history and art. The museum itself is beautiful—creamy-yellow colonial buildings, leafy courtyards with frangipani, and calm galleries that feel like a sanctuary from the city buzz. Inside, the collection is outstanding. You’ll see exquisitely carved sandstone sculptures from ancient Champa sites like Mỹ Sơn, Trà Kiệu, Đồng Dương, and Tháp Mẫm. Highlights include graceful apsaras and dancers, majestic images of Shiva and Ganesha, delicate lintels and pedestals, and the symbolic linga–yoni altars. The carvings are full of movement and detail—flowing jewelry, expressive faces, and swirling floral motifs—and the lighting does a great job of revealing their texture. I appreciated how the galleries are laid out by region/period, which makes the story of Cham culture easy to follow. Labels are clear (with English and Vietnamese), and many rooms have maps or context about trade routes, religion, and daily life. Staff are polite and helpful, and the vibe is peaceful—perfect for slowing down and really looking. The little garden courtyards, with statues set among trees, are lovely spots to pause for photos.

My husband and I had a full body massage yesterday one for 90 minutes and one for 60 minutes. After my body massage i also had facial massage with mask. All of the services i availed were excellent. I go for massages whenever I travel around Southeast Asia, and this place offers one of the best I've tried. Their service is impeccable. Drinks and a snack are served before the massage, and the same are served with dessert after. The massage itself is customised according to how you like it, with a simple and concise drawing for you to mark out areas of focus before the massage begins. Make an appointment so that you won't be disappointed. A 6-star rating if I could give one!

The Marble Mountains, located in Ngu Hanh Son near Da Nang, are a stunning network of five marble hills that offer a unique blend of natural beauty and rich history. Visitors can explore numerous caves and intricate temples while enjoying breathtaking views from various lookout points. The mountains present an accessible adventure; while climbing to the summit can be challenging, there’s also an elevator for those who prefer a more leisurely ascent.
I did enjoyed it. Easy to spend 1h there. Loved the caves, obviously the mains one, but also tiny Van Thong cave (if you up for tiny places and a bit of scrambling - this is good place). Entrance to mountain 40k, if you want a lift thats 15k more - there is no many stairs to climb at gate 2 up and then anyway plenty of steps. If you entering at gate 1- thats definitely much more steps up. Am phu cave definitely worth visiting, but it extra 20k

Visiting these mounzains was such an amazing experience! From the moment you step inside, you can feel how ancient and powerful this place is. The formations are absolutely stunning, and the caves themselves are enormous, much larger than I expected. Walking through them feels like exploring another world hidden beneath the surface. Everything is beautifully lit, making it easy to take in all the incredible details. The entrance fee is only 40K VND, which is really affordable for such a memorable and breathtaking adventure. I’d definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the area, it’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression!

If you are planning to visit De Nang don't miss out this place. There were 2 options to reach mountain top one by taking elevator till 5th floor and then walk or else by trekking or walking via mountain stairs. If you taking elevator you have to pay more but for trekking it's free. There was a entry charge for the mountain. Follow the map and then you reach different view points, temple, caves etc. It was a good experience. Keep a water bottle and soft towel with you as Vietnam is famous for its extreme hot climate.

High & breathtaking ❤️ a long lift from the bottom to the top you would enjoy magnificent views of the mountain below. The place is well worth of travel with the bridge and all the activities. Get your walking shoes on because you will be walking a lot if you want to see all the beautiful things they have created. There are also many rides... Which I missed some of them 😂 well worth the investment of time and money to see this place if you are in the area 🌟

This is a must go place for any tourist travelling to da nang. Best to go early as this place opens at 7am. There is lot of walking up the stairs. So carry water and be prepared to explore the pagodas and mesmerizing caves. Also donot miss the highest point of the peak here which gives a beautiful view of the city and the sea
Arijit S — Google review
The views from the top are beautiful, even in a bit of rain, and the climb through the caves and pagodas is interesting without being too exhausting. The area feels peaceful and well-maintained, and there’s plenty to explore — temples, statues, and little pathways that make you feel like you’re discovering hidden spots. It’s a nice mix of nature and culture, and much more relaxing and enjoyable than the crowded tourist traps. Definitely a spot I’d recommend if you’re in the area
Irina A — Google review
Marble Mountains was a great experience. The entrance ticket is only 40,000 VND, and the elevator is very convenient — 15,000 VND per ride (30,000 VND round-trip). I spent about 1.5–2 hours exploring the caves, pagodas and viewpoints. Everything is well-organized, and the views over Da Nang are fantastic. Definitely worth visiting while in the area.
Tiberiu I — Google review
The Ngu Hanh Son (five elements mountains) OR Marble Mountains, are actually a cluster of FIVE marble and limestone hills, located in Da Nang, Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: Kim (metal), Thuy (water), Moc (wood), Hoa (fire) and Tho (earth). All 5 have cave entrances, tunnels and Buddhist sancturies. It is still possible to climb to the summit of Mount Thuy, (the only mountain accessible for visitors) a 156 steps distance, which gives great views from its summit. The mountains were in fact close to American Marble Mountain Air Facility, during the Vietnam War. Those days, the Marble Mountains contained a secret hospital for the Vietcong. The Marble Mountains are home to several Buddhist and Hindu grottoes too including Huyen Khong and Tang Chon, and many Hindu and Buddhist sanctuaries like the temples of Tam Thai, Tu Tam, Linh Ung, and the pagoda of Pho Dong. The sanctuaries feature statues and depictions of religious scenes, carved out of the marble itself. Even though one loves every bit of this Earth's geography and has the best in mind to preserve its nature, it was still fascinating to note, as to how anyone or for that matter, people generally, can make use of natural elements in such a perfect way. Carving or chipping out marble must have been extremely, mind and time consuming, and that to do so, without faults? ... amazing.

When the sun sets in Hoi An, the vibrant Hoi An Night Market comes to life, transforming Nguyen Hoang Street into a bustling hub of activity. This enchanting market is a must-visit for anyone exploring the historic town, offering an array of street food delights, unique souvenirs, and stylish clothing. As you wander through this lively atmosphere illuminated by colorful silk lanterns reminiscent of a European Christmas market, you'll find yourself immersed in local culture.
The Hội An Night Market is one of the most beautiful and atmospheric spots in Central Vietnam, just a short drive from Đà Nẵng. In the evening, the entire market street comes alive with the glow of hundreds of colorful lanterns. The lantern-lit ambiance gives the area a magical charm, perfect for strolling, taking photos, and soaking up the unique charm of Hội An. The market itself is vibrant and diverse, with a wide variety of shops and stalls lining the street. You’ll find everything from handmade lanterns, souvenirs, and local handicrafts to jewelry, clothes, and small trinkets that make for perfect keepsakes. Many vendors also sell delicious street food and snacks, giving you the chance to try authentic flavors while exploring. What makes the market special is not just the shopping, but the overall vibe. The boat ride was fun, best done at night. Cost us 170,000 for a boat for 2 people. Tried charging us 50,000 per lantern, once we said no, offered us 2 lanterns for 20,000 🫠 -Boat ride itself was around 20 minutes , scenery is great with all the street lanterns and other boats. The night market itself was like any other standard night market, nothing very special about it. However, some vendors promoted that they would not hassle customers to buy which was a nice touch 🙂

Hoi An Night Market is a must-visit! The vibrant atmosphere, colorful lanterns, and variety of local street food make it a perfect evening spot. Great place to shop for souvenirs, handmade crafts, and try Vietnamese snacks. It’s lively but not overwhelming — a memorable cultural experience in the heart of Hoi An.

Hoi An's night view was absolutely stunning! The boat ride was an amazing experience, with its aesthetic beauty leaving a lasting impression. Ticketing was hassle-free, with tickets available within minutes. However, Fabric shop prices were steep, being about three times the original price. There was lantern making classes as well .The only downside was the overwhelming crowd, even on weekdays - I can only imagine how busy it gets on weekends! On the bright side, the numerous eating joints near the lake added to the picturesque scenery, making it a truly memorable experience.

Hoi An Night Market :) A place full of big, beautiful things! I sent my wish into the sky — for peace of mind and good health for me and my family. That’s all I really need :) As long as my heart is calm and my family stays healthy, everything else can be enjoyed, learned, and achieved along the way. I just hope to become a better version of myself than yesterday, and to stay away from the foolishness of chasing unhappiness by comparing myself to others. -BOFF

Exploring the Hoi An Night Market is a wonderful experience. Walking through the vibrant lantern lit street is amazing and magical. It is lively atmosphere, with a mix of modern and traditional. Enjoyed exploring the different colorful stalls, sharpening my bargaining skills, trying out delicious street foods. It's about feeling the warmth and charm of the locals.

Beautiful at night with the lights and hustle and bustle of the crowds. It started raining heavily so I bought a cheap umbrella (left mine at the hotel,) but still a great experience. Lots of shops and restaurants, a fun place to walk around.

Hoi An is a must visit as it's only 40 minutes away from Danang. It's like walking through a place in history. If you don't like the noise of the bars and restaurants, you can walk further inside where you will find many great shops. We bought a whole bunch of lanterns to bring back home.

In the heart of Hoi An stands The Old House of Phung Hung, a well-preserved 18th-century merchant's residence that offers a glimpse into traditional Vietnamese architecture and the lifestyle of affluent merchant families. This historic home, once belonging to a family selling spices, silk, and chinaware, boasts original furnishings and ornate decorations.
A Special Experience at Phung Hung Ancient House I had the opportunity to visit Phung Hung Ancient House on the exact day they held their Lunar New Year offering ceremony. This is one of the most beautiful and historically significant ancient houses in Hoi An, preserving many traditional architectural and cultural elements. What made my visit special was witnessing the family's New Year ritual. The air was filled with the delicate scent of agarwood incense, its sacred smoke rising in accordance with Vietnamese customs. The atmosphere felt warm, serene, and deeply spiritual. Additionally, I learned about the house's history, its unique blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architecture, and the fascinating stories of the Phung Hung family. It was a memorable experience that gave me a deeper appreciation of Hoi An’s cultural heritage. If you ever have the chance, I highly recommend visiting and immersing yourself in this special ambiance!

When you're in Hoi An, you shouldn't miss this old house right next to the Japanese Bridge and the Hoi An Book Shop. It was probably built in the early 1800s, and its most unique feature is the two-story covered atrium, which might have been influenced by Japanese design. You can buy a ticket to go inside and check out the whole place.
Do C — Google review
Stopped off here as it was recommended by tours and Google. However, it's just an old house that has been converted into shops, and they are just trying to sell you things -which is all too common in the town. The house itself was nice to look around, but it can be done in around 2 minutes, if you look up information online - be around 5 minutes. I'd give this a miss and go to see the assembly halls, much more history and nicely decorated too 🙂
Aidan M — Google review
Pretty old house! We came there during a rain and we could enjoy the view from the balcony during night time!
Stefano S — Google review
No description on the history of the house. The setup is very haphazard and instead of focusing on highlighting the antiques in the house, there are strangely placed goods for sale. Unfortunate situation for a historic property.
Jennifer F — Google review
My first negative experience as a tourist in Vietnam; not massively negative but leaving an unpleasant feeling. We were not made to feel welcome - indeed one member of staff was talking to the woman showing us table cloths, looking at my wife and I not in a friendly way, while laughing. Enough to activate my paranoid fantasies, which is not a good feeling to associate with a place.
Tim — Google review
Phung Hung ancient house was included in the last part of Monkey Mountain – Marble Mountains – Coconut Jungle – Hoi An City Full-day tour, wherein our tour guide walked us through the old town , JApanese and chinese influenced towns. Wonderfully maintained, and gives a sneak peak at the history and past.

It’s not a historical visit. It’s only a shop where they pretend everything is local made by the family. Every item was found all across the country. Don’t waste your time and money. Extremely dissapointed. You basically pay the entrance for a shop.

Japanese Covered-Bridge

Sights & Landmarks
Chùa Cầu Phố cổ Hội An, also known as the Japanese Covered Bridge, is a significant landmark in Hoi An, Vietnam. This 18th-century wooden bridge showcases elaborate carvings and a pedestrian passageway. Originally built by the Japanese community to connect with the Chinese quarters, it has retained its ornate design over the centuries. The French made alterations for cars but the original arched shape was restored later on.
The Japanese Bridge, located in Hoi An Ancient Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the most fascinating cultural attractions in Vietnam. Built in the 17th century, this monument has witnessed many changes in the town. If you come to Hoi An, it is a must-visit. The Japanese Bridge is called Chua Cau Bridge in Vietnamese. It was built by Japanese merchants to connect with the Chinese neighborhood. It was built for communication and connections and has a very important meaning. The Japanese Bridge in Hoi An is considered a beautiful representation of the town’s long history. For centuries, this bridge has connected the past, present, and future. In 1719, Lord Nguyen Phuc Chu visited Hoi An and inscribed the name “Lai Vien Kieu” in three characters at the entrance of the bridge. This means “Lai Vien Kieu” in Vietnamese and “Bridge to Welcome Guests from Far Away” in English. Also, because this tower was mainly built by the Japanese, it was named the "Japanese Bridge" or "Japanese Covered Bridge." Although it is commonly called the "Japanese Bridge," it is a unique combination of Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese cultures in terms of building materials, design, patterns, and decorations. On February 17, 1990, this bridge was designated as a national historic and cultural heritage. There are a dog and a monkey at the entrance and exit of the bridge, respectively. These two statues symbolize the guardian deities of the bridge, as they symbolize protection and safety in Japanese culture. It is also said that these two statues mean that the construction began in the Year of the Monkey and was completed in the Year of the Dog. Various cafes and restaurants have been built on both sides of the street centered around the Japanese Bridge, utilizing old and quaint houses. The old cultural heritage of Hoi An (UNESCO World Heritage) and the appearance of the ancient city still remain along the street. There are many unique cafes and restaurants here. There are also many shops selling traditional specialties, handmade products, and souvenirs on the street. And there are various galleries of various genres gathered here. This street was also a place where trade between Vietnam and Japan was active in the 17th century. It is a place with many things to see, so I recommend you visit. Unlike the daytime, the nighttime scenery is also breathtakingly beautiful.
Danny H — Google review
It's a nice bridge but don't get your expectations too high! You'll enjoy taking pictures there if it's not too crowded. I think this place is more interesting if you are into historical stuff, the origin of the bridge, architecture, etc. Other that that... It's a bridge!
Dimitri S — Google review
Free to walk across the bridge and take as many photos as you would like. If you buy a ticket from the ticket office nearby (170,000) - you can enter here and numerous other historical sites in the town. However, there is not a lot to see inside just an information board about the bridge - a quick Google could save you the time. Took around 5-10 minutes for everything, and most tours will bring you here 🙂
Aidan M — Google review
This iconic landmark sits in the heart of Hoi An’s Old Town and offers both charm and history. Built in the late 16th century by Japanese traders, it connected their settlement with the Chinese quarter across the river and symbolized peace between the communities. It’s beautifully decorated and famously guarded by statues of dogs and monkeys at either end — symbolic of the years it began and was completed. The area can get quite busy, especially around lunchtime, late afternoon, and into the evening when the lighting is perfect for photos. Many visitors gather on the riverbank to capture the bridge in all its charm. Despite the crowds, it’s a must-visit while exploring the Old Town.
John W — Google review
The rich history of Hoi An is captured beautifully by this landmark bridge and the nearby Chinese temple, but the true charm of old Hoi An lies in the glorious street scene with shops, restaurants and coffee outlets galore, and as far as we could tell they’re all awesome. Each evening the locals put on events like the lantern parade on the river, and the spectacular Hoi An memories show which I personally cannot recommend highly enough.

If you’re visiting Hoi An, don’t miss this little gem! The whole town feels full of history and charm, and this shop fits right in. Khoi Khoi Design has so many beautiful handmade dresses — unique pieces for both adults and kids. The quality and design really stand out, and each piece feels one of a kind. The owner was so kind and patient, helping me find the perfect fit. I love that everything is locally made — such a meaningful souvenir to bring home. Definitely worth a visit if you have 2 days in Hoi An!

The Hoi An Covered Bridge is known a the tourist symbol of the Old Town. One of the highlights on Hoi An tourism with its quiet street scenery. The pagoda is designed with wood imbued with Japanese style with a graceful roof and the foundation is made of stone pillars.

Nestled in the heart of Hoi An's ancient Old Quarter, the Old House of Tan Ky is a beautifully preserved 18th-century merchant residence that offers visitors a glimpse into the past. This remarkable home showcases traditional architectural styles typical of Hoi An townhouses, featuring distinct sections for various functions. The front serves as a shop while the back connects to the river wharf, highlighting its historical role in trade.
Visited this historic house in Hoi An’s ancient town, filled with antiques and traditional furnishings. It’s incredible to see how well preserved it is, especially considering the regular flooding in the area. The markings on the wall showing previous flood levels were especially striking. Hard to believe the house has stood through it all.

Old House of Tan Ky in Hoi An was very crowded like the rest of the town. There was nothing much to see inside. If you have extra time, then you can visit. It’s a small traditional house, but not a must-visit.

If you're in Hoi An, you have to check out the Tan Ky House! It’s right on the Thu Bon River and is an awesome example of a classic Hoi An merchant's home. Even though it's been around for a while, the house still has this really unique vibe and some super cool stories. You'll get to see how the old merchants did business on the river, check out their unique pulley system, and just admire all the cool architecture. It’s a perfect place to really feel the history and see the true beauty of Hoi An.

Requires ticket to enter. We didn’t have any so donated some money at the entrance. This house is one of the oldest near the river and stood strong during many floods and the family still lives on upper floor and they only come here at 7pm. The place closes at 5pm anyway. The whole house is made of wood and there are many “mother of pearl” furnitures which are absolutely stunning! Must visit place if you are curious.
Rachitha K — Google review
Beautiful house with plenty of history behind, they slimed everything here is conserved from ancient times but I kind of and again kind of doubt I’m gonna have to trust, which is true this is a very beautiful and pleasant and most likely one of the most interesting places to visiting within ancient time Although not the best that comes with own preference, I do enjoy temples better and unfortunately capacity here should be controlled, they won’t do it, money is more important Shame
Marcos D — Google review
Great to see this old building, still lived in by the latest generation family. Free tour inside to tell you all about it but they will try and sell you souvenirs at the end. Tickets must be purchased elsewhere in the local ticket office.
Paul G — Google review
When you visit, wait for the tour guide in English, it will help you understand the house and its architecture better. You can also see the levels of water during the floods. The place is small and constantly full of tourist groups, which makes it difficult to walk around.
Eduarda — Google review
Charming old house - when we entered they offered an excellent free English guided tour of the house. This made the place just the more interesting! Downside is the small space and amount of people.

Hội Quán Phước Kiến, also known as the Fukian Assembly Hall, is a stunning place of worship in Hoi An, Vietnam. Originally built in the 17th century as an assembly hall for the Chinese community to gather and celebrate festivals, it was later transformed into a temple dedicated to Thien Hau, a sea goddess from Fujian province.
Opinion is my own, this is the most beautiful temple of this town. Absolutely gorgeous “building” with part of history behind not only pictures are amazing here but sitting there and enjoying a quiet time is priceless. You’ll get a “free” entry here if you’ve previously purchased a ticket to ancient town In my opinion this should be a must

We visited this Chinese temples in downtown Hoi An as part of our Old Town ticket. It was a unique experience to light large incense coils and wish for health and fortune for our family and friends. After the coils burn out, the staff apparently will burn the paper with our wishes, making them feel sacred. It was fascinating to see wishes from all over the world written in various languages. Overall, a beautiful and meaningful stop in Hoi An!

Went here as apart of our old town ticket, was great to look around and learn a little about assembly halls. Definitely a worthwhile experience when wandering around the town. This takes around 15-20 minutes to complete, there are also a couple of small shops selling cold drinks if needed.

A stunningly ornate and peaceful spot right in the heart of Hoi An Ancient Town. The intricate Chinese architecture, colourful tiled roofs, and detailed wood carvings are breathtaking. Built by 17th-century Fujian settlers, the hall is dedicated to Thien Hau, the Sea Goddess, and you can feel the spiritual atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The courtyards are filled with bonsai, incense, and traditional lanterns, making it a photographer’s dream. There’s a sense of history and cultural pride in every corner, and it’s well worth taking time to admire the craftsmanship. A must-visit if you want to explore the Chinese heritage of Hoi An.

The Phuc Kien (Fukien) Assembly Hall at 46 Tran Phu Street is dedicated to Thien Hau or Mazu, who is the goddess of the sea and the protector of sailors. The hall serves the Fukienese community, which is the largest ethnic Chinese group in Hoi An. You'll also find altars here for the 'Six Highly Esteemed Generals,' a group of men who fought against the new Qing dynasty during the end of the Ming dynasty. And women can pray to the Heavenly Midwives here for a safe and successful pregnancy.

Hainan Assembly Hall

Nestled in the heart of Hoi An, the Hainan Assembly Hall stands as a poignant tribute to history and culture. Established in 1851, this architectural gem commemorates 108 Chinese merchants who tragically lost their lives at sea due to a grave misunderstanding. The hall features beautifully designed gardens and striking pastel blue walls that invite visitors to explore its serene ambiance. Inside, you'll discover vibrant halls adorned with Buddhist figures and plaques honoring the fallen sailors, alongside exhibits reflecting traditional Chinese life.
Picture this: a historic site so charming it makes a Disney castle look like a garden shed. But the real kicker? The gate attendant. This bloke was so passionate about the place, he could’ve made a tax return sound exciting. He took us on a mini tour, and his enthusiasm was so over-the-top, it was like he’d just discovered the last piece of a 1,000-piece puzzle. His knowledge was impressive, and his storytelling? Let’s just say he could turn a history lesson into a blockbuster movie. If you’re in Hoi An, don’t just breeze past the Hainan Assembly Hall. Pop in, and if you’re lucky, you might get the tour of a lifetime from this incredibly passionate guide. It’s worth it just to see someone talk about ancient architecture with the kind of fervor usually reserved for winning the lottery.

This is one of the many assembly halls of Chinese origin in downtown Hoi An. These were the important places for the Chinese merchants to worship and base their activities in the 16th and 17th centuries. This is worth a visit and it will not take much time.
Reza N — Google review
This assembly hall was built back in 1875 (or maybe 1883) in memory of 108 local merchants who were killed at sea. They were murdered by a bunch of guys working for a corrupt naval commander. He had seized three merchant ships back in 1851 and then repainted them black to make it look like they had been captured from pirates. Luckily, one sailor survived and managed to get the whole story to Emperor Tu Duc. The emperor was so mad he ordered the officers responsible to be executed and gave all the stolen stuff back to the families of the victims. Later on, this hall was built in their honor, along with other similar halls in places like Da Nang.

Beautiful calmer community hall outside of the tourist "madness" in the old town, open until evening. It's worth a visit in my opinion. Just be careful and stay away from the snack vendor on the opposite side of the street. She tried to scam and charge us overpriced grilled rice paper (Banh trang nuong) just because I spoke a different Vietnamese accent, imagine what would happen to foreign tourist when she is not questioned? Best thing to do is to avoid places without listed price in Hoi An

Actually, I enjoyed this more than the Hokkian assembly hall. It is quiet and traditional. The gatekeeper, who thought us from same origin (yes and no, we are not from Hainan but a place nearby), showed us around with passion. It's apparent that this hall is built and decorated with overflowing nostalgia. It's an impressive and touching place to end our day in Hoi An here.

Came here on 6th august 2025 around 7.45am. And it was closed for some renovation work. When we peeped to see whether we are allowed inside, lady here shooed us off and closed the gate. We only peeped because the gate was open.

Nestled in the heart of Hoi An, the Precious Heritage Art Gallery Museum is a captivating tribute to Vietnam's rich tapestry of ethnic cultures, curated by the talented French photographer Rehahn. This enchanting museum spans two floors; the first showcases 200 stunning photographs that highlight the beauty and resilience of Vietnamese women and their children from various ethnic minorities.
A Hidden Cultural Treasure We stumbled upon this small museum by chance, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. The project showcased here is a profound tribute to Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups, capturing their traditions, expressions, and spirit through deeply moving photography. Every portrait reflects the photographer’s refined eye and emotional connection—his taste for photography is present in every detail, turning images into powerful stories. The sincerity of the people, the beauty of their culture, and the touching stories behind each photo moved me to tears. His work is not only deeply respected by local communities, but also offers invaluable insight for foreigners. Through his art and vision, we gain meaningful knowledge about Vietnam’s diverse heritage—something no guidebook can offer. A true hidden gem that speaks to the heart.

Precious Heritage Museum is a hidden gem in Hoi An. The stunning portraits, traditional costumes, and stories of Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups are beautifully presented and very moving. I especially enjoyed watching the video of Réhahn’s journey into remote mountain villages—taking time to build relationships so people felt comfortable before he photographed them. Admission is free, but the experience feels priceless. Unlike many museums, this one feels very personal, almost like walking through the photographer’s own journey across Vietnam. It’s inspiring, humbling, and unforgettable. An inspiring and memorable stop that I’d highly recommend.

My favorite activity during all of my 10 day stay in Hoi An was by far coming to this gem of a place, which I was so lucky to stumble upon. If you’re at all interested in the various ethnic groups and their villages throughout Vietnam this is a place that will provide rich clarity of their history, evolution and customs in an extraordinary way. Everything is presented through the eyes of a curious French photographer that stumbled upon some of the ethnic groups years ago during his early motorbike travels in Northern VN. He befriended some of the groups early on and ultimately reached out and met every single ethnic group in VN, some who are so remote and removed they rarely see anyone outside their tribe. He took pictures, learned the unique characteristics and customs for each group and in many cases had been gifted clothing that are now on display there. There is an incredible film that plays on loop that runs maybe 45 mins but some people seem to hang out there and continue loop after loop - like me :) because it’s just that interesting. He has books and prints of his photos for sale there. The photos are stunning and iconic. If you’re been fortunate enough to do the Ha Giang Loop, this museum is a must see. It’ll probably help to answer so many questions. And even if you haven’t, it’s so worthwhile, so rich. I believe it’s free to enter ( but please double check before you go!) 1000% recommend!

The most amazing Art Gallery & Museum of Vietnamese Ethnic People & Culture. A must visit if in Hoi An and not to be missed. Photos by one the the world's best Portrait Photographer's - Réhahn, are available to view and photo prints & books are available to purchase. Easy to spend an hour or more here reading the information & looking at photos and traditional costumes of Indigenous Ethnic groups in Vietnam. I must have spent ages here reading each of the background stories and looking at the related photos. Not to be missed if in Hoi An or Danang and surrounding areas!!

This is a beautiful mix of ethnographic studies and art gallery. Everything is beautifully presented and explained. The exhibits are genuine pieces and the film shows Réhahn's dedication to the preservation of ethnic traditions and culture. It really is worth a visit. We spent nearly three hours here and loved every moment.

This place is absolutely amazing! The vibrant photographs, traditional costumes, and powerful stories from Vietnam’s many ethnic groups make a huge impression. If you have the time, watch the videos they play. It was such a rich and inspiring experience. Honestly, everyone should check it out when they’re in Hoi An.

Intrusive, impressive - a must see in Hoi An to get a deeper understanding and, above all, appreciation for the diversity and richness that is Vietnam. Excellent documentary. Museum is free.

Chien Dan Cham Towers, located just outside Tam Ky City in Central Vietnam, are a fascinating relic from the Cham empire's reign. Dating back to the 10th and 11th centuries under King Harivarmadeva's rule, these three towers stand as a testament to an ancient civilization. Although some parts of the towers are broken, they offer a glimpse into history and are definitely worth a visit for those passing by. The entrance fee is minimal, making it accessible for all travelers.
Today we went to visit this temple, but it was closed and under restoration, but it is a unique temple for its history and the years it has since it dates back to the 10th century.

If you are in the area then it’s worth a quick look but there are better examples at My Son or in Cambodia.

Worth the stop if you are passing by. We got the entrance for free I think because there was no-one to give us a tour.

3 towers in a row. The top parts of them are broken. The ticket price is 20000 VND (less than 2 USD).

(Translated by Google) The old tree (other names: go tree, go wood/ sang tree…) is located very close to Ky Anh tunnel, a destination on the tour of this resistance base village. The space of bamboo hedges and fields is very beautiful, but unfortunately the local authorities have just built a lotus pond with concrete, destroying the natural landscape of the area.
