Many old statues can't be find anymore. These days the garden lacks upkeep and maintenance. Hope to see its stunning glory back.

Choti baradari gardens is a place in front of Baradari palace which was residence of Emperor Rajinder Singh. He brought rare species of trees and flowers from different places and planted them in this garden. The big fruit trees the Fern House and the Rock Garden shows his interest towards nature

Very faithful and peaceful and beautiful palace. Spiritual healing and peace are the properties of the Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib, one of the most revered Gurudwaras in Punjab. Located in Lehal, a part of Patiala, it is famous for its curing properties for any ailments that anyone may be suffering from. Visitors have faith in abluting in the holy water of the pond here, because of its healing qualities. Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib's origin is tied to a villager named Bhag Ram from Lehal, who sought the blessings of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to end a mysterious plague afflicting the area. In January 1672, the Guru visited Lehal, spending time by the village pond, preaching and meditating under a banyan tree. His presence and meditation led to the plague's eradication. Consequently, the site where Guru Ji meditated came to be known as Dukhnivaran, meaning "the end of all sufferings", and this name was given to the Gurudwara. Between 1748 and 1782, Raja Amar Singh of Patiala established a garden in honour of Guru Tegh Bahadur's special visit, entrusting its care to Nihang Sikhs. Court records from 1870 mention a garden belonging to the Guru and a well, used by the Nihangs. In 1920, plans to build a railway line threatened the banyan tree where Guru Tegh Bahadur had sat, but workers refused to cut it down. Consequently, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh cancelled the project. Although a Gurudwara had not yet been built, a committee was formed in 1930 to raise funds and begin construction. Twelve years later, in 1942, the building was completed under the supervision of Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, a devout Sikh. True to its name, Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib is believed to alleviate grief for those who visit with a pure heart and offer sincere prayers.

I visited Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh early morning recently, and it was a refreshing experience! This man-made lake, built in 1958 by Le Corbusier’s team, is a serene spot with calm waters reflecting the Shivalik hills. The early morning vibe was magical—cool air, chirping birds, and a stunning sunrise painting the sky. The walking path was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and I loved watching locals jogging and practicing yoga. The nearby café served tasty snacks, adding to the charm. However, some areas had litter, which slightly detracted from the beauty. Also, more benches would’ve been nice for resting. Despite these, Sukhna Lake’s tranquility and scenic views make it a lovely spot to start the day in Chandigarh.

Rose is one of the best attractions in Chandigarh. If you like roses and greenery you must visit this place. Although Chandigarh is very green but this place an its own vibe.

We went in November but there were almost no Rose's flowering. So better visit in February. But very nice garden to sit and relax.

It is a very nice and big garden where you can easily spend 2 to 3 hours. Childrens play area are also there. There are lots of varities of roses from all over the world. You can scan their QR code and know more information about them. Better to visit in winters as roses are more blossoms in that season.

Online on the place's overview there were pictures of swimming pool but on booking even the best room here that is the super deluxe room, we did not get access to swimming pool. They said it is not a part of this property. They also said that the swimming pool is present only in moksha that is a 5 star place. And that we cannot have access to that even after paying. Scam!

I booked the rooms through Goibobo.. stay was very comfortable. Food was really nice and overall hospitality was really good. It is very huge property. Weather was too good. View was really awesome. The only thing missing was swimming pool..

They didn't let us eat because we reached there by car and not by ropeway. Even after requesting them to let us atleast eat something because we have been traveling for last 3 hours they refused and asked us to go immediately. Apparently their ropeway business is more important than the customers. A very very very bad experience.

We had booked valley view room with balcony to enjoy the scenery. But we were unable to do so because of the monkey menice. There were monkeys all the time in the balcony making it inaccessible for us. And to further add to nuisance they even littered the balcony and most of our time was spent in shooing them away from inside the room. Once they even tried to enter the room and take away eatables. All the hotel staff did was give us a stick and we had to stay on high alert the entire time. Poor maintainence by the hotel. This is not what were there for.

It's a public park, located near the stadium. The entry to the park is free for the public, though parking of the vehicle next to the park is paid and limited. Best time to visit is during day in winters and evenings in summers. General cleanliness of the park is good. It's a good place to bring kids as the park holds good amount of playbees for them (on a payment though) . Best amongst them is the rent a bicycle, where one can hire a bike for self and the kids too and ride it on the bike track inside the park. There is a place which houses the eats, reasonably priced (vegetarian only). Hygiene along with taste including variety would be rated at 7/10.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji came to this place 4 times. After winning the Battle of Bhangani on his way back to Anandpur Sahib, via Gurdwara Sri Baoli Sahib Dhakauli and Gurdwara Sri Nadha Sahib Panchkula, Guru Gobind Singh arrived here. At the time a bhatha (kiln) was situated. It was burning at full capacity. Guru Ji asked the bhatha labourers about a place he could rest. Knowingly or unknowningly the labourers pointed towards the bhatha. Guru Ji directed his horse (Neela) to step on the extremely hot kiln. At once the bhatha cooled down and Guru Ji's horse hoof left a mark (a hoof print which can be seen at the Gurdwara). One of the labourers informed Chaudhary Nihang Khan, the owner of the bhatha, who was in his Qila at the time. He rushed to the bhatha and to his astonishment saw Guru Gobind Singh sitting on the bhatha. Chaudhary bowed his head in front of the Guru and asked for a pardon. Chaudhary then took Guru Ji to his fort. On the following day, Guru Gobind Singh and his Singhs proceeded to Anandpur. During Guru Gobind Singh's second visit, Guru Ji came to this place for the engagement of Alam Khan, Chaudary Nihang Khan's son. On Guru Gobind Singh's return from Kurukshetra, Guru Ji stopped here for his third visit. After Guru Gobind Singh left Anandpur for the final time, Guru stopped here for his forth and final visit. He asked Nihang Khan to look after Bhai Bachittar Singh as Bhai Ji had been mortally wounded. As a huge mughal force was chasing Guru Ji, he left. But before leaving, Guru Ji provided Nihang Khan with a Sri Sahib, a katar and a shield. The items can be viewed at the Gurdwara and Bhai Bachittar Singh's shastaars can be viewed at Gurdwara Sri Shaheed Ganj Bhai Bachittar Singh in Kotla Nihang, Ropar. Prakash Diwas of 1st, 5th and 10th Patshahi, Sangrand with Amrit Sanchar, Jor Mela from 1st Poh to 4th Poh and the anniversary of Baba Jiwan Singh Ji on 11th are organised here.

Gurudwara Sahib is situated in the village Kotla Nihang on the bank of the Sutlej river.3 km Rupnagar railway station.Guru Gobind Singh ji came here winning the battle of Bhangani.when Guru ji asked for a place to stay and rest,The labour working at the bhatta kiln,the pointed towards hot brick kiln(bhatta).ignorant labourers did not realised whom they were talking too.As soon as the horse of Guru ji stepped in the burning kiln it became cold.Chaudhary nihang khan the owner of the bhatta was informed about the incident,when he came there he saw Guru ji sitting on the bhatta.Chaudhary bowed his head in front of Guru ji and asked for pardon.A fair is held here on 11 bhadon (August) on the death anniversary of baba jivan singh ,besides a fair is held here on 2-4 poh (December) when large numbers of people visit the gurudwara.

Here you can see the memories of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Neela Ghoda. This is very neat and clean place managed by SGPC. Here you find restrooms also. This is located on road at Rupnagar, Punjab. This place is open for all, belonging from different communities. There is free food for every on as 'Langar'. A huge parking area, free parking. Quite peaceful and calm place.

I decided to visit with my family, and it turned out to be a wonderful choice. On arrival, I discovered that the complex houses the Virasat-e-Khalsa Museum along with a beautiful park that you can explore. The museum is vast and beautifully curated, providing an immersive experience into the rich history, culture, and sacrifices of our Gurus. The Virasat-e-Khalsa restaurant on-site serves simple yet delicious food at very reasonable prices. Very well designed, immersive galleries, informs about Sikhism in detailed narrative, impressive supporting visual narration. Iconic architecture by Moshe Safde and brilliant exhibits by NID. Ticketing could be improved, galleries could have more descriptions for further reference, sound from adjacent galleries distract.

Only if you download the app and use headphone. --- It has a beautiful architecture but more than that Art Work inside, displaying whole history of Sikhi starting from its inception to 1948. Everything so beautifully designed, executed various pavilions, it is totally mesmerising. Artist put so much effort to connect all dots well. But sadly, lighting design is upto 5% thus absolutely flawed. Very first three story pavillion has day & night theme depicting 24 hours life in Punjab from rural to urban, from shop to home to all religious places but time for night is longer than the day thus you are unable to see the beauty and hard work out by artist/s and from behind guards keeps whistling, insisting you to keep moving (though it was not crowded at all!!)!! And this fault in lighting design is everywhere, less or more, you can't even read some display texts!! Ita worth visiting multiple times. Required time duration to complete it - 3-4 hours. Toilets - lavish and clean. Timing -1000 to 1630 (Monday Closed). Timing must be recieved, must be open ar 0900.

This museum represents the rich history of Sikhism. Architecture, paintings and arts... everything is wonderful... i visited this place in the month of dec 24 note- it's opening and closing timings are different in summer and winter.

It's a wonderful place, truly fitted to it's earned name the 8th wonder of india. The only limitation is that no photography allowed inside but that too is Ok considering it would increase the crowd

Its a beautiful place depicting the famous and fabulous culture of punjab... They charge you at the entry and then everything inside is free of cost..there are plenty of things to do inside... they have live dance performance also... Its a vast area..you will require a lot of time to visit every corner of this place..

The thali was good however there was no fresh safed makhan or makki ka roti or even gulab jamun. The chai was poor because there was no option for no sugar the ladies who made the parantha were never listening to my grandmother who is seventy years old and kept giving her rotis not fresh tawa ka parantha. And the dancing was great however the music is deafening. However the kulfi, dhai Bhalla were amazing, the magic show was great however the chuski was too sweet, I would not recommend bringing the elderly to eat the snacks as it was way too sweet. In the whole Havel was good however this rangale punjab was poor as they didn’t have that many Punjabi food

Great place to enjoy evening. Staff is very nice and food at stalls and main room was awesome. Everything we tasted was superb. It’s an entertainment for family of all ages. Only problem was with astrologer who seems to be a fraud….. used a same old story which frauds use to extract money from you by scaring you. We saw this in Chokhi Dhani Jaipur too but there the guy was good and gave us option.

Locatuon is good right at the highway. Inside atmosphere is good but areawise is not so big. Cultural programme is great. Punjab old cluture is displayed everywhere which is good to see if you have come for the first time Inside a big restaurant is there which is included in the entry ticket but frankly I didnt like the food inside and the biggest reason is - We had so many small meals/ food around the restaurant ( stalls everywhere like chaat, candys, ice cream etc) inside and we got full and there is no place left for the dinner. We suggest you to have the fresh baked roti with makkahn and chutney stall and enjoy other small meals ( chaat, pani puri, candys, ice cream kulfi, aam panna jaggery tea etc.), for diner you can opt after sometime post your digestion. Evrything is included in the entry ticket. Overall I feel the entry ticket 1000 is over priced as the place is not so big and also the food option is limited. One time visit is good.

Very nice experience at the spiritual place. We stayed at the dharamshala inside the temple premises. For 900 rupees per day, we were given a big room with AC and geyser in the bathroom. Rooms were clean compared to other dharamshalas. It takes around 90 minutes to fully cover all places inside the temple. Mornings and evenings are the best time to visit the temple. It's a bit crowded in the evening. Staying in Dharamshala was a great experience as we can visit the temple any number of times effortlessly. The management personnel were very helpful.

This place is made to understand the basic concepts of science in a very interesting way. You must visit there once at this place. Very large area, I learned different topics of science there and also understand the basic structure and functioning of human body. It takes 5-6 hours to see all the things. Different topics are- Climate change, Laser show, Flight Simulator, Dome theatre and many more.

Nice place to visit. Particularly interesting for children. It is costly in terms of tickets and entertainement. But with the various activities, toy train, boating, shows, huge area, dinosaur park and children enjoyment, with paying the price. Some area was closed today but enough for the day. Normally they ask for package, you can take package which usually costs lower. There are many scenic area, if you like photography then I believe you should plan according for the day light or Sun light directions for best shots.

Science city is place worth to visit with the students who have some knowledge of science. It’s green, large campus with various blocks on subjects like electricity, laser shows, astronomical block etc is worth visiting.

Don't miss the Sports Science Centre; it is indeed one of a kind. The Dino Park is interesting. There is enough to keep curious kids interested, especially the Fun and Games oriented exhibits and installations. This place can take an entire day, so plan accordingly.

To visit the dam you need to get a pass and register your entry. We went there on Sunday and there was no crowd at all. We had seen the dam from outside because we didn't have visiting passes. You can also visit a few popular temples near the place.

A big and spectacular dam. Ysu can drive beside the dam and see it's beauty, If want to go on the top of the dam then you need to take permission from the local authorities to visit. Photography is not allowed at the Dam but from distant you can take beautiful pictures of the dam, Like I have done. A devine place Nainadevi is also around 20 km from there.

The dam is spectacular. You need to take permits from the local authorities to visit. There is an office at the checkpoint for the same. Also, while the signboard are displayed on the route, it is somewhat tricky to find the correct route. It is better to confirm with the locals on major turns. Photography is not allowed at the Dam but there are a few locations before and after where beautiful pictures of the dam facade and the reservoir can be clicked. If you are also visiting Nainadevi (20 km / 30-35 minutes from there), it is better to start at the temple and view the dam on the way back as the time needed for the dam is not too much.

There are boating point in this area, but you have to drive for like 6 KM more to reach boating point. Don’t pay extra for boating. Private boats ask for like 600 to 800 per boat. Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏

Must go once and feel the devine power. Havan continue there non stop. I have seen approximately 10-15 shed dedicatily design for the Havan and all were occupied. There are so many counters for Havan inquiry Management: I have never suvh management and cleaningness so far anywhere. Too much clean to sit at any place and you would find clean. The office of महंत itself indicates that how the management is good there. Even there is coffee cafe inside temple and look so good. Each Temple management must visit once to learn how to organise. This temple is one of a kind. The moment I entered the temple, it felt like entering a fort, as you see lush green lawn ahead of you. (I have never seen such a sight in any other temple.) I really liked the fact that the govt. has preserved the original theme.

The atmosphere of the temple is really good. It's very old temple and build quality is extraordinary. The carvings on the walls are extraordinary. You should attend aarti in evening. I have attended that twice. There was a group young devotees singing bhajans once and they really made our experience to next level. There is a place where children can play and we can click pics of natural beauty.

On return from Dharamshala to Chandigarh we planned to visit Masroor Rock cut temple. It is a real wonder as temples are built on one Rock just as in Ellora. Though temples were affected by 1905 earthquake but one can see the temple. Restoration work is going on and idols have been kept for worship. However no one is allowed to offer money.

A monolithic rock cut temple of around eighth century. The place is not so popular among tourists. The architecture is wonderful and amazing. Although it was damaged by the 1905 earthquake, still what remains is awesome. A must visit for history lovers.

The visit to tea gardens was wonderful. We got a tour of tea processing facility which belonged to Himalayan Brew and also undertook tea tasting there.

This is not a correct pin . There is a small private tea garden with Dak Bunglow and one small one called Bundela tea estate.. There is no tourist Palampur tea garden per se.where one can experience tea making process etc. We kept looking for a gate or ticket entry and realized that all the touristy experiential social media posts about palampur tea gardens are at Wah Tea Estate which is 20 mins away from this point

A good place to enjoy serenity of nature on a river bank. It has a huge 35 acres area, and has various activities being offered for children and grown ups. As of now, some construction is still going on and internal train lines are being built. But I believe it’ll finish soon, and would definitely recommend to check the place out.

Good place but Road from main road to parking is bit cramp and sometimes its hard to give pass to upcoming vehicles, rest all is good so far, as a note , google location sometimes is wrong and confusing. Thx

Saurabh Kalia “Saurabh Van Vihar” Spans 35 Acres of park nestled against majestic Dhauladar Range in Palampur. Even on non-match days, the entry fee (₹30 via UPI) is totally worth it for the serenity and scenic beauty. The stands are colorful, the stadium is clean, and staff are generally polite and cooperative. However, visitors should stay alert outside the main gate. There are people pretending to represent resort or travel companies (often with names like Karma Group) with ID probably fake ID cards handing out scratch cards for tgeir 31st anniversary claiming “free prizes” or “holiday vouchers.” This is a misleading sales scam they invite you to a “presentation” that turns into a high-pressure attempt to sell costly vacation memberships. Many visitors have reported that these offers are fake, and the promised gifts are never delivered or come with hidden charges. Tourists often end up losing time and face unnecessary stress. It’s important that visitors do not share personal details or sign any forms from these individuals. Politely decline and walk away. Tourists have repeatedly faced such incidents near the stadium entrance. The HPCA authorities and local police should look into this matter to maintain the safe, welcoming environment that this world class venue deserves. Always a delight visit the holiness place. This time I also attended his lifelong ceremony with a bunch of tibetans and renowned scholars who happened to visit this ceremony and seek his blessings from all over the world. Such a delight to witness him and this ceremony in person and feel a surge of true spiritual energy, even with more than 1000 people around. I guess it's the holiness in Dharamshala effect.

Our family visited this Budhist Dalai Lama temple (also known as Theckchen Choeling Buddha Vihar) on 24 October 2025. There is no entry fees. There is a residential venue of Dalai Lama, in front of the temple complex. It has a Beautiful, calm, quiet, serene, religious atmosphere with excellent infrastructure for religious ceremony and meditation.

It is very beautiful temple of His Highness The 14 th Dalai Lama. He stays in the temple area and gives sermons to his disciples whenever he is in Mcleodgang. There is adequate security in the area and common people can see the temple with ease and comfort. You get spiritual experience whenever you visit this temple. There are statues of Tibetan Saints in the complex and one experiences utmost peace and tranquility in the temple. You can see The 14th Dalai Lama in the temple whenever he is in Mcleodganj and gives sermons. One must visit the temple whenever one visits Dharamshala.

Complex: The complex is located near McLeod Ganj and includes a main temple, a series of pools where visitors and monks bathe, and is situated on the path to the Bhagsunag Waterfall.

Amazing place to spend some alone time, and has an open swimming pool too, one can swim in the natural water directly flowing from the mountains.

The view from the temple is breathtaking. It's a small local temple. There is a pool,where devotees can take a bath. Small and quiet place to spend some time. There is a seperate place/shelf to keep one shoe.

Not a natural lake. Don't confuse yourself with Dal Lake that is in Kashmir and as it's not the original one it's also not very attractive. Too much to be honest, it smells awful as the source of water of this lake is a treatment plant. I visited in April and it was almost dry with no crowd at all. No need to go inside, you should click picture from outside and look for another destination.

I was quite disappointed with Dal Lake in McLeodganj. The river was completely dirty and mostly dried up, which made the area look neglected and uninviting. It felt almost like a banned, isolated spot, with dust and litter all around. Unfortunately, it was far from the serene and picturesque experience I had expected.

Pathetic place. Please waste time going here. There is no lake only muddy waters not worth it.

Worst experience, waisted my Rs.500 for cab. Lake was dry no crowd. Cab driver told us after we reached that the lake was under construction!

The waterfall was nice but for me the best part was the walk there. I walked a different way to most people, I came from upper Bhagsu and it took me through this beautiful trail on the edge of the mountain. Took me only 15 mins to get there. Also went to Shiva cafe which is 5 minutes higher than the waterfall, nice views up there and good food.

Bhagsu Nag Waterfall is a great place 100% a must-visit. It’s a short and easy trek. Try having Maggi during the trek; the views and the sound of the waterfall give you pure peace and a lovely vibe. Just feel it.

Nice up hill trekk for nearly 45 mins for me (out of breath due to physical reason). Once reached the place it was a lovely experience. See the water fall, clean water, small cafes. Enjoy tge place for 30 mins or more. Then start retracting.

Bhagsunag Waterfalls is a beautiful and refreshing spot located about a 15–20 minute walk from Bhagsunag Temple. The trek to the waterfall is simple and scenic, suitable for beginners and families. Very crowded place. A lot of public taking bath in the waterfall. Its not a peaceful place to visit. Although the sight is good from far away. A lot of shops to shop from. Local bags, key chains, clothes, shawls, jewellery.

While the waterfall itself isn’t particularly scenic, the pathway leading to it is beautiful. However, the trek may not be suitable for elderly visitors.

The Bhagsunath Waterfall trek is a bit challenging, but totally worth it! The cold water rushing through your body in winter is an unforgettable experience. A must-visit spot for nature lovers seeking adventure and beauty. Highly recommend!
