Saputara Lake, located right at the centre of Saputara in Gujarat, is a large and charming waterbody that forms the heart of this hill station. Its vast size and calm waters create a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to begin or end your sightseeing trip. Being centrally located, it’s easy to reach from anywhere in town and often becomes the most photographed place for visitors. The surrounding landscape is excellent, with lush green hills, neatly kept walkways, and a refreshing natural vibe all around. I visited during the monsoon season, and the view of the lake was simply awesome—it was surrounded by drifting clouds, giving it a magical and almost dreamlike appeal. The gentle breeze, combined with the scenic backdrop, made it a truly memorable experience. While the lake is peaceful on most days, it can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so planning your visit accordingly is a good idea. Whether you’re boating, strolling along the shore, or simply sitting and enjoying the view, the calmness of the place is best enjoyed when it’s less busy. One of the most enchanting aspects of Saputara Lake is its night view. The shimmering reflections of lights on the water, combined with the cool evening air, make it a must-see after sunset. A night stroll by the lake is the perfect way to wrap up your day in Saputara. Visit in Night and Day time both.
RANJAN K — Google review
Saputara Lake is naturally beautiful, but the overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The place was very crowded, and it felt like there was hardly any space to relax or take in the view peacefully. On top of that, almost everything around the lake was costly—food stalls, boating tickets, even basic things like parking. The crowd and high prices really took away from the charm of the lake. It could be a nice spot if managed better, but right now it feels more commercial than relaxing.
Dipak S — Google review
Nice place to hang out. There are too many nearby places to visit. Also number of sports activities are also available. You need at least 2-3 days to explore and enjoy at saputara.

🌄 Lake + Garden + Boating ⛵ ✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗 🌄 At sunset, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting ✨, and you'll find the lake view to be particularly captivating. It's a great time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. 🌌
Ghanshyam P — Google review
Saputara Lake is one of the most peaceful and scenic attractions in Saputara. Surrounded by green hills and a calm environment, it is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is clean and well-maintained, and boating here is a wonderful experience, especially in the evening when the cool breeze and sunset create a beautiful view. There are also food stalls and small shops nearby, which add to the charm without disturbing the natural beauty. It is a great place for family outings, photography, or just spending quiet time with friends. Visiting Saputara is incomplete without enjoying the serenity of this lake.”
Shubhankar S — Google review
Pleasant view but boating experience was not good for solo person. But with a family of 4 or 6 will get a good condition paddle boat to enjoy the ride in Lake. Activities near Lake are good and variety of food options available.

A great place to spend time experiencing the mesmerizing view of sunset. The people from different places, the chaat and food, the view, it's an amazing combination. Just a small hurdle is to get your car on top of there at the parking spot. Reach there before 5:30-6:00 pm is all I should suggest.

The point is located at an altitude of approximately 1220 meters above sea level and offers a panoramic view of the Dang forest and the winding roads that lead to the hill station. The best time to visit Sunset Point is during the late afternoon when the sun is about to set. The view of the orange sun setting behind the hills is truly spectacular and is sure to leave you mesmerized. The serene atmosphere and cool breeze make it a perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of sightseeing. There are a few small shops and vendors selling snacks and beverages near the Sunset Point, so you can enjoy some refreshments while taking in the view. Additionally, there are a few benches and seating areas where you can sit and enjoy the view at your leisure. Overall, the Sunset Point in Saputara is a must-visit attraction for anyone traveling to this beautiful hill station. The stunning view of the sunset and the tranquil surroundings make it a perfect place to unwind and relax in the midst of nature.

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

Gargoti - The Gem & Mineral Museum, Nashik

Specialty Museums
Excellent museum. Very close from Nashik. In city of Sinnar but one should definitely visit it when around this place. They have many varieties of stones collected from mostly Maharashtra, but also India and other countries. As a matter of fact, also from moon, Mars and asteroid. The guide gave good information and that told how it is maintained and how different patterns are recognized. Lots of shapes n colors and sizes for the stones. Even the idols made of these stones. This was a very good place. Even good for school picnics
Amit K — Google review
Wonderful collection of real stones...greatly preserved and placed...located in bit outskirts location with less parking space however place is ample for same. Entry ticket 200Rs per person. U need to remove shoes and then go. Entry and main hall neat clean and well lit. Collection is really good. Free guide also there. Toilets free and clean. Shopping place also there.

A Fascinating World of Minerals and Wonders My visit to Gargoti Museum was truly an eye-opening experience! I never expected to see such an incredible collection of minerals, crystals, and gemstones all in one place. The museum showcases nature’s artistry in the most beautiful way — from sparkling geodes and colorful stones to rare mineral formations found only in India. The presentation is very well-organized, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the origins and significance of different exhibits . It’s a perfect spot for anyone who loves geology, art, or simply discovering something unique.
Pranav B — Google review
A Hidden Gem for Nature and Geology Enthusiasts! If you’re around Nashik, the [name of the museum, if known] is a must-visit. This unique museum showcases an incredible collection of natural minerals in their raw and stunning forms—Quartz, Apophyllite, Stilbite, Citrine, Fossils, and many more. It’s both educational and visually captivating—an amazing experience, especially for kids. A perfect blend of science and nature that sparks curiosity at any age!

One of the best thing of the India Tour did this time.... A amazing exorbitant and a Must to visit ....a museum of gems, stones, minerals, crystals I was fortunate to meet the Foubder and his motivation and inspiration is amazing. The guide explains very in detail about enach of the collection. A must to visit Place when , you Visit Nashik, Shirdi, Trimbakeshwar or Shanishinganapur. 5 stars are less for this amazing Museum.
Rakesh S — Google review
Ticket price is little costly as compared to Nashik place. The Gargoti Museum houses the largest & the finest collection of Indian Indian zeolite minerals and crystals in the world. It is divided into two galleries namely Deccan Plateau Gallery and Prestige Gallery. There are 2 floors in the museum and has vast collection of minerals and crystals. It is located 32 km from Nashik on Nashik-Shirdi highway in a town named Sinnar.[3] The museum's displays include:[4] Natural Crystals Zeolites, Minerals Gem Stones Precious Stones & Metals Semi-Precious Stones & Metals Fossils Statues Handicrafts Secondly avoid purchasing anything from here if you don't have subject knowledge because you might feels certain things are too much costly.
Ankur S — Google review
I visited this museum 2 years ago and i was amazed to see that there are so many gems , stones and minerals of various shapes and with their natural colours which is beyond our imagination, they have well preserved it and I recommend if anyone is visiting Nashik please go to see this amazing museum.

Sula Vineyards, located in Nashik, about 180 kilometers northeast of Mumbai, is a renowned winery celebrated for its diverse grape wine varietals such as Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, and Zinfandel. What began as a modest 30-acre estate has now expanded to cover nearly 1800 acres across Nashik and Karnataka. This expansive estate welcomes visitors every day of the year to indulge in wine tasting and vineyard tours.
Sula Vineyards is such a fun and chill place to hang out. The lights and colorful chairs make the vibe really cool at night. Food and wine together taste just perfect here. It’s a nice spot whether you’re with friends or family. The wine truck and gift shop add a quirky touch. Truly a place where you feel the Sula life!
Madhav P — Google review
I recently visited Sula Vineyards with my family 🍇👫, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience even though none of us are wine drinkers 🚫🍷. Many people think Sula is only about wine tasting, but that’s not true — there’s plenty to enjoy without touching a wine glass. The lush green vineyards 🌿, open landscapes 🏞️, and calm ambience ✨ make it an excellent spot for a relaxing getaway. The property is very well-maintained, with lots of open spaces to walk around, click photos 📸🌸, and simply enjoy the fresh air. It truly feels like an escape from the busy city life. The entry fee is ₹1000 per person on weekends and ₹600 on weekdays 💰. The good part is that you get coupons of the same value, which can be redeemed inside at the restaurant or café 🍴. We used ours for food, and while the taste and quality were excellent 😋, the food items are a little on the expensive side 💸. Still, it balances out since the entry fee coupons cover a good part of the cost. Since we didn’t opt for wine tasting, our time was spent exploring the vineyard, enjoying the atmosphere, and relaxing over a family meal. The only drawback was that service can be a bit slow ⏳, and yes, prices are slightly premium. In short: Even if you don’t drink, Sula is still a beautiful, family-friendly place to visit — peaceful, scenic, and a memorable outing! 💫😊
Kanthak B — Google review
Visited today on 6th October 25. Very very beautiful place to visit. May be no 1 place to visit in Nashik. Makes the Wine Capital of India earn its name. The place is very clean and well maintained. The prices is ₹1000 per head on weekends and 600 on weekdaysfor entry. One can expend this rs 600 in restaurant or wine tasting vum factory visit. The tour is really good and the tasting is fun with well learned guide. 7 types of wines given for tasting.

Sula Vineyards is an absolutely nashik to-do destination, especially if you visit during the late afternoon or evening. We visited on a sunny October evening, and the atmosphere was perfect. The sun setting over the vineyards cast a beautiful golden glow, making for incredible photos and a wonderfully relaxing experience. The expansive grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a tranquil escape from the city hustle. We ordered food bites and enjoyed on the patio overlooking the rows of grapes. The energy in the evening is perfect—lively enough to feel festive, but peaceful enough to enjoy the view and conversation. Whether you're a serious wine enthusiast or just looking for a beautiful spot to unwind and watch the sunset, Sula provides a top-notch experience. Highly recommended for a romantic evening or a chill gathering with friends
Sourabh Y — Google review
We visited Sula Vineyards on a public holiday, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience! On weekends and public holidays, the entry fee is ₹1000 per person, while on weekdays it’s ₹700, which you can fully redeem for food, shopping, or wine tasting—like a prepaid coupon. The property is absolutely stunning, perfect for clicking beautiful pictures amidst the vineyards. We started our visit with a photo session and then headed for lunch. The food was good, though a bit on the expensive side. Post lunch, we opted for the wine tasting and tour (₹700 per person). The tour started with a short video and a factory walkthrough, where the process was explained in detail by their knowledgeable guide. This was followed by a tasting session of six different wines, one after another, which really helped us decide which wine to buy. Overall, Sula Vineyards is a must-visit place, whether with friends or family. It offers a perfect mix of scenic beauty, good food, and a delightful wine-tasting experience.
Pooja R — Google review
Visited Sula Vineyards and tasted 6 types of wines — the place was amazing and the overall experience was superb! 🍷 The ambiance and staff were great. However, there’s a small issue with their pricing. They provide ₹1000 worth of coupons (₹200 x 5), but for the vineyard factory visit and wine tasting ticket (₹700), only ₹600 can be redeemed, and ₹100 has to be paid extra. They don’t actually provide ₹100 coupons, which feels a bit misleading in their marketing. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful place and definitely worth visiting once!
ASWANTH S — Google review
Good place to unwind for people travelling to Nashik. Photography points are adequate. The wine tour is good and tasting is a personal choice, since wine is an acquired taste. Their dessert wine Moscato is quite fruity and tastes good. Cover charges are Rs. 1000 on weekends and 600 on weekdays. Wine tasting is Rs. 600 inclusive of tour, only winery tour is 200/- In house restaurants are good but a bit on the pricier side.
ADITYA B — Google review
If you're in Nashik, a visit to Sula Vineyard is an experience you just can't miss. The place has a vibe that instantly makes you feel like you've stepped into a different world - calm, green, and full of life. The entry fee is ₹600 per person, and the best part is that you can fully redeem it at the restaurant, wine shop, or for wine tasting. In fact, Sula proudly says that for many visitors, their first-ever wine tasting happens right here. Walking through the vineyard feels exciting at every step from the giant wine bottle installations and the upside-down wine pyramid, to the quirky cycles and the beautiful grape farms, it's a place where you'll keep wanting to take pictures. The wine shop is airy and well set up, while the restaurant upstairs is the perfect spot to sit back with a glass of wine. We tried their pizza with wine in the afternoon, and with the vineyard view stretching out in front of us, it felt refreshing and peaceful. Overall, Sula Vineyard is more than just about wine - it's about the whole atmosphere, the views, and the experience. Whether you're here for food, photos, or your first glass of wine, it's a place that will leave you smiling

Sights & Landmarks
Shree Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling Mandir is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the god Shiva, featuring a sacred pond believed to be the origin of the Godavari River. The temple is set in a picturesque area surrounded by lush greenery and clouds, offering a mesmerizing experience for visitors. It provides well-organized waiting areas with amenities such as drinking water and restrooms, ensuring that even long queues are manageable.
Went for a weekend ride from Mumbai. To have a blessings from him. This place holds a divine energy. It was a surreal feeling when you see him with your own eyes. I went on Sunday so I was waiting for 4 hrs in queue. Although, there is a special pass entry available to save your time and have a quick darshan. The place and market area seems to be always busy. Overall best experience. Recommended to everyone to feel the energy. Also this place is located in a hilly area surrounded by greenery, dam & mountains from all over the side. So riding till this place through the mountains, forests and passing by small beautiful village makes your journey most scenic and beautiful. Definately enjoyed the climate. Accomodations are available from reasonable to luxury rates as it is one of the Jyotirlinga. One of the best getaway place to take a break from city life and feel the slow living life of villages.

My visit to Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra was a truly spiritual and memorable experience. The temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, and its divine atmosphere fills every visitor with peace and devotion. The moment I entered the temple premises, I felt a deep sense of calmness and positivity. The architecture of the temple is ancient and beautifully carved from black stone, reflecting India’s rich heritage and devotion toward Lord Shiva. The surroundings of the temple are clean and well-organized. The management and security arrangements are good, ensuring that devotees can have darshan smoothly. The queue system is maintained properly, and volunteers are always available to guide visitors. The priests perform the rituals with great sincerity, and one can easily participate in puja or abhishek if desired. The sound of bells and chants creates a peaceful and divine atmosphere inside the temple. Outside the temple, there are many shops selling flowers, prasad, and religious items. The local people are polite and helpful. The natural beauty around Trimbakeshwar, especially the nearby hills and the origin of the sacred Godavari River, adds to the spiritual charm of the place. Overall, Trimbakeshwar Temple, Nashik is a must-visit destination for devotees and tourists alike. It offers not only a strong spiritual experience but also peace, positivity, and a glimpse into India’s deep cultural and religious roots.

Trimbakeshwar Temple in Nashik is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, making it a cornerstone of Shaivite pilgrimage. Surrounded by the Brahmagiri hills and the origin point of the sacred Godavari River, the temple offers a deeply spiritual and scenic experience. 🌄 Highlights of the Experience: Sacred Jyotirlinga: The temple houses a unique linga representing the Trimurti—Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh—symbolizing cosmic unity. Mythological Legacy: Associated with sage Gautama Maharishi and the descent of the Godavari, the temple is steeped in ancient lore. Architectural Beauty: Built in black stone in the Hemadpanthi style, the temple features intricate carvings and a serene courtyard. Rituals and Pujas: Known for powerful ceremonies like Kaal Sarp Dosh Puja, Narayan Nagbali, and Tripindi Shradh, performed by learned priests. Atmosphere: The air is thick with devotion, chants, and the scent of incense, creating a meditative ambiance. Surroundings: The Brahmagiri hills offer trekking opportunities and panoramic views, enhancing the spiritual journey. Accessibility: Well-connected by road from Nashik, with ample accommodation options nearby. 🕉️ Mood and Legacy: Visiting Trimbakeshwar feels like stepping into a timeless realm where mythology, nature, and devotion converge. The temple doesn’t just offer darshan—it invites introspection and renewal. Whether you're a pilgrim or a seeker of peace, Trimbakeshwar leaves a lasting imprint on the soul.

My visit to Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga was spiritually satisfying, and the darshanam experience itself was quite good. The highlight of the temple is its stunning Hemadpanti architecture from the Balaji Baji Rao period of the Maratha Empire, which gives the entire place a historic and divine charm. The ancient stone structure and peaceful atmosphere inside the sanctum make the visit truly memorable. However, the development around the temple definitely needs improvement. One noticeable inconvenience is the long distance between the donation (special darshan) ticket counter and the main temple entrance. This walk can be tiring, especially for elderly devotees, and better planning would help ease the process. In terms of waiting time, free darshan on Mondays takes around 3 hours, which is expected due to the heavy rush. If you choose the ₹200 donation/special darshan, the waiting time reduces to about 1 hour, making it a more manageable option for many visitors. The main drawback is the lack of cleanliness in the surroundings within roughly 100 meters of the temple. The area could be much cleaner and better maintained, especially considering the significance of the shrine and the steady flow of devotees. Despite these issues, the overall experience was positive. The divine atmosphere and historic beauty of the temple make it worth visiting, and with a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

Visiting Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling in Nashik was an unforgettable spiritual experience. The temple holds immense significance as one of the 12 Jyotirlingas, and you can truly feel the divine energy the moment you enter the premises. The ancient architecture, the rhythmic chants, and the overall atmosphere create a powerful sense of devotion. Despite the crowds, the management is fairly organized, and the darshan line moves smoothly. The priests are helpful and guide you properly during the rituals. The surroundings are scenic, with lush greenery and the sacred Godavari River origin nearby, which adds even more beauty to the visit. Early morning darshan is especially peaceful and gives you the best experience. If you’re in or around Nashik, Trimbakeshwar is a must-visit not just for religious reasons, but for the calmness and spiritual connection the place naturally brings. 🙏

Trimbakeshwar Temple is a very beautiful and peaceful place. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, which is located in Nashik, Maharashtra. When I went there, I felt a different kind of positive energy. The temple area is clean, and the environment is full of devotion. I waited for almost 5 hours for darshan, but when I finally saw Lord Shiva’s Jyotirlinga, all the tiredness disappeared. It was such a powerful and emotional moment that I will never forget in my life. The sound of “Har Har Mahadev” everywhere fills your heart with peace. People are very calm and respectful inside the temple. The priests guide nicely, and everything is well managed. Behind the temple, there is a small river, and the view there is just amazing. The water is so clear and peaceful. You can feed the fish, and when you sit near the river, your mind becomes completely calm. The mountains around the place make it even more beautiful. It is truly a place where you can feel peace, faith, and positivity together. A must-visit place for everyone who believes in God and inner peace. 🙏 Har Har Mahadev! 🙏

Visiting Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is a truly spiritual and unforgettable experience. The moment you enter the temple premises, you feel a deep sense of peace and devotion. The ancient architecture, sacred environment, and the powerful energy of the Jyotirlinga create a divine atmosphere that touches the heart. The temple is well-maintained, and the arrangements for darshan are smooth and organised. Surrounded by the scenic mountains of Trimbak, the natural beauty adds to the serenity of the place. The vibes are pure, calming, and spiritually uplifting. A visit to Trimbakeshwar not only brings you closer to Lord Shiva but also leaves you with a sense of inner peace and positivity. A must-visit destination for every devotee and spiritual seeker. Highly recommended for a soulful and divine experience. 🙏✨

I recently visited Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling for the second time, after my first visit around 7 years ago. Earlier, touching the Shivaling was allowed, but now it is not permitted. This time, I reached the temple around 7:45 AM and planned to take the fast-darshan ticket, but the counter closed at 8:00 AM, so I couldn’t buy it. We then joined the normal line, which took around 4 hours to complete the darshan and come out. The management has provided good facilities throughout the line, including seating areas, drinking water, a baby feeding room, and washrooms. Mobile phones are allowed, and many people were taking photos inside, although security guards were stopping them as photography is not permitted.

This was our first visit to the place. We heard through our one of our friends. We stayed for 2 nights. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The view to the lake was the best part. Mornings and evenings were very pleasant. Obviously the harvesting season was over however it was still worth the stay. The team restaurant manager - Firoz and his team - Akram, Haq and the chef's too were great. Great service and brilliant food. The menu is small but precise. The wine tour along with Sanket was great too. Would surely come during the monsoons.

We stayed as a group off 11 people. And everyone loved it! The staff were very welcoming and both the dinner and breakfast were fantastic. We are very thankful to the wine maker who stayed longer than usual to provide us with a wine tour as we arrived later than expected. Very informative and interesting to hear of the introduction of wine integrating into India's culture. We would highly recommend as a lovely stay off. Thank you to all the staff for having us.

We came here for lunch. Chipotle chicken (starter), Penne Rose pasta (pink sauce) and Orange Mojito are really delicious. But, pizza is really bad. We had bad experience of pizza with size and taste. Don’t order spinach cigars also. The place is also peaceful but many house flies which ruined the experience. SULA and Soma are way better than this place. It is very far from city and the road is not well constructed. Limited slots for wine tours and tasting. Either call them before hand or don’t waste your time, fuel and efforts. Dessert wine was also not available. Asked to contact after a month.

Vallonné Vineyards: An Underrated Boutique Gem with Breathtaking Views! Seeking a vineyard experience led me to the stunning and, frankly, underrated boutique hotel, Vallonné Vineyards, and it turned out to be the best decision! The property is absolutely beautiful. We snagged a lake-facing room, and the view was breathtaking, easily the highlight of the stay. The room itself was cozy and cute, perfect for unwinding. The staff here deserve immense praise. They are super friendly, always smiling, and genuinely make you feel like family. Kudos to the entire team for their impeccable hospitality! The food was another huge win. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with a rich and fabulous spread. Dining outdoors with that morning view during breakfast was a dream. A special mention: we craved kanda bhajiya, and the generous chef and staff not only catered to our out-of-the-blue request but delivered one of the best bhajiyas we have ever had! Seriously, Chef, thank you! Finally, the wines and the tour were excellent. We loved learning about the winemaking process, and they clearly craft lovely wines that cater to every taste. I absolutely, highly recommend Vallonné Vineyards. If you need a beautiful, relaxing, and delicious getaway, make the most of it right here!

A Scenic and Flavourful Escape at Vallonné Vineyards Our visit to Vallonné Vineyards, nestled amidst the tranquil Sahyadri hills near Nashik, was nothing short of spectacular. This boutique vineyard beautifully combines nature, wine, and gourmet dining, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a relaxed yet indulgent experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with breathtaking views of the backwaters of the Mukhne Dam, lush green slopes, and endless vineyards stretching into the horizon. The setting is serene, romantic, and almost meditative — perfect for slow, soulful moments. We started with a guided wine tasting, which was both informative and delightful. Their selection of wines — especially the Rosé and Anokhee Syrah — was top-notch. You could taste the care and craftsmanship in every sip. The team was passionate and knowledgeable, walking us through the process and flavour profiles with genuine enthusiasm. The restaurant, Malaka Spice at Vallonné, was a pleasant surprise. Serving Pan-Asian cuisine with a twist, every dish was beautifully plated and packed with flavour. We tried the Thai curry, stir-fried noodles, and a lovely grilled fish — each dish perfectly complemented by our wine selections. Dining here, overlooking the vineyards and water, felt like being in a European countryside estate. The property also offers charming boutique rooms, ideal for a romantic getaway or a peaceful retreat. We didn’t stay overnight this time, but it’s on our list for the next visit. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast, a foodie, or someone who simply appreciates beautiful landscapes, Vallonné Vineyards delivers a complete experience. It’s a hidden gem where every element — wine, food, views, and hospitality — comes together seamlessly. Highly recommended for couples, small groups, or solo travellers looking to sip and unwind in style.

Monsoon beauty in Western Ghat, particularly in Malshej, is unbeatable. Clouds, fog, rain, and waterfalls, everything is endlessly. The Govt of Maharashtra provides good parking spaces and beautify water sources and waterfall areas so visitors can enjoy maximum. Hot Maggi, tea, and corn will add cherry on the ice.

This place should be on must visit list in monsoon if you are exploring western ghats. Going here is easy, as for most of the part road conditions are very good. You can come by car, 2 wheeler etc. In ghat section roads are narrow so expect some traffic during monsoon season. Also there is possibility of land slide etc. There are multiple waterfall points in the ghat area where government has build staircase , protective structures to access it easily. Make sure while you park your vehicle, you are not blocking on going traffic. I have seen people doing it. Be a responsible citizen. Same thing go for plastic and other garbage. In monsoon and winter expect lot of foggy weather which limits visibility so be careful. Most of the people I see go till ghat and return if they are coming from pune-nashik highway. I would highly recommend to go down till ghat ends, you will see amazing views.

What a place friends, it is heaven, I went there recently and enjoyed it a lot, I will say one thing that don't go from the check post before the ghat, go through the village, it is a great village, it is off-road but it is a lot of fun, it is 5km It falls far away it was a lot of fun

One of the coolest and awesome place in Maharashtra, this place have very scenic and beautiful view. But this place is very dangerous and thrilling too, it have accident prone area and one must be cautious world travelling at this place. In rainy season its completely covered in dense fog. Also there lots of waterfalls nearby this area and somewhere in mid of Highway waterfalls directly from the mountains on road.

A Must-Visit Ghat Road for Nature Lovers – Especially in Monsoon!🌦🌧 Malshej Ghat⛰️ is truly a paradise for nature lovers and an unforgettable ghat road journey. During the peak monsoon season, the beauty of this place is at its best. As I traveled through the ghat around 10 AM, the entire route was wrapped in fog🌫☁, creating a mystical and serene atmosphere. Riding a two-wheeler made the experience even more adventurous and thrilling. Along the way, I witnessed numerous small waterfalls cascading down the hillsides and stunning mountain views all around. I frequently stopped at different spots just to soak in the breathtaking scenery. At one spot, something magical happened—within just a few minutes, the thick fog suddenly cleared and revealing a fantastic view🏞. Moments like these make the journey truly unforgettable. Overall, it was a refreshing and memorable experience—perfect for anyone who enjoys nature, rain, and a bit of adventure. (31-July-2025)

It is also a great spot for photography, birdwatching, and enjoying nature at its best. The roads are well-maintained, but can get slippery in rains, so one needs to be careful. Overall, Malshej Ghat is a must-visit destination for nature lovers, especially during monsoon.”

A Refreshing Escape into Nature! Mahuli Fort trek was an incredible experience — lush greenery, misty trails, and scenic views made it totally worth it. Perfect for nature lovers and weekend adventurers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Moderate Trek with Mesmerizing Views The trek is moderately challenging, with rocky paths and dense forest, but the view from the top is breathtaking, especially during monsoon. Highly recommended for trekkers of all levels. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Trek Worth the Sweat! It’s a bit demanding if you’re a beginner, but the route is well-marked and rewarding. I recently visited Mhauli Fort, and I must say it was an incredible experience filled with natural beauty, historical richness, and just the right amount of adventure. The trek to the fort is medium to moderate in difficulty, making it suitable for both beginners with decent fitness levels and seasoned trekkers looking for a quick weekend adventure. The trail offers a perfect blend of rocky paths, forested stretches, and scenic viewpoints. It's not a commercial trek, which means the route is still raw and relatively untouched — adding to the charm and authenticity of the experience. What makes Mhauli Fort stand out is the serene environment and the lack of crowd. It’s peaceful, and you can truly connect with nature as you ascend. The sound of birds, the rustling leaves, and the occasional cool breeze make the climb enjoyable. There are patches where you need to be a bit careful due to loose rocks or slippery surfaces, especially during the monsoon, but overall, it's very manageable with proper footwear. Once at the top, you're rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and hills. The fort itself, though in ruins, speaks volumes of the region's historical significance. It's a great spot to just sit, reflect, and enjoy the vastness around you. If you're into photography, this place offers some incredible landscape shots, especially around sunrise or sunset. Pro Tips: Wear good trekking shoes for grip. Carry enough water and some snacks as there are no shops on the way. Start early to avoid trekking in the midday heat. A basic first aid kit is always a good idea. Overall, I’d rate this trek a solid 4.5/5 for its natural beauty, moderate challenge, and peaceful surroundings.

No worries more than 100 peoples go there daily in monsoon. History of place. Mahuli Fort, located near Asangaon in Maharashtra’s Thane district, is one of the most popular trekking destinations for adventure lovers and history enthusiasts. Nestled in the Sahyadri mountain ranges at an elevation of about 2,815 feet, the fort offers breathtaking panoramic views of lush green valleys, rocky pinnacles, and dense forests. Surrounded by the Tansa Wildlife Sanctuary, the trek to Mahuli is as much about natural beauty as it is about exploring history. The fort has deep historical significance, as it was once under the rule of the Mughals before being recaptured by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The remnants of fort walls, gateways, water cisterns, and caves still speak of its glorious past. For trekkers, the journey is moderately challenging, taking about 2–3 hours to ascend, making it suitable for both beginners and seasoned hikers. During the monsoon season, the trail transforms into a paradise, with waterfalls, mist-covered peaks, and a refreshing climate that enhances the trekking experience. What makes Mahuli Fort special is the sense of peace and adventure it offers. Away from the hustle of city life, it provides a perfect weekend getaway for nature lovers, trekkers, and photography enthusiasts. The sunrise and sunset views from the top are mesmerizing, making the climb completely worthwhile. Whether you visit for its historical charm, its natural beauty, or simply to test your trekking spirit, Mahuli Fort never fails to leave a lasting impression.

trekking and adventure, with stunning views of the Sahyadri mountains. The trek includes hiking through forests, tackling some steep patches, and rock climbing opportunities. Visitors can explore the fort's historic walls, temples, and watchtowers, with the option to stay overnight in the caves for exploring the higher pinnacles. The best time to visit is October to March for pleasant weather, though the monsoon offers a lush, vibrant experience with the caveat of challenging conditions.

Mahuli Fort is not for the faint-hearted — it demands good endurance, especially during the steep stretches. Make sure you’re well-prepared with enough water and snacks. It takes time to complete, so start early to avoid trekking in the dark. There are monkeys around the fort area, so keep your food and belongings safe. The base village is Shahapur, and the nearest railway station is Asangaon — from there, you can take a rickshaw or shared transport to the base. Overall, an adventurous trek with beautiful views and a solid test of stamina!

Govardhan Ecovillage, located in Vada, offers a serene retreat amidst nature. The polite staff addresses guests as 'Prabhuji' and the visit includes the opportunity to explore the Sri Sri Radha Vrindavanbehari temple and Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Temple, where visitors can enjoy bhajans. The scenic beauty of mountains, lakes, and greenery provides a peaceful atmosphere.
I recently visited Govardhan Ecovillage for the second time, and just like the first, it was a beautiful, soulful experience. My first visit was with my parents when we stayed at the Vrindavan Cottage, and I remember how peaceful and rejuvenating it felt. This time, we went with our entire family and chose to stay at the Madhuvan Hermitage, which came with air conditioning and an attached bathroom a perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. During our first visit, we had explored their spiritual tours, which were thoughtfully curated and left a deep impact. This time, we attended the evening Aarti and jaap (chants) meditation, both of which felt deeply grounding and peaceful. We also got the chance to witness the Yamuna Aarti, it was absolutely beautiful and soothing, a truly heart-touching experience. Govardhan Ecovillage has truly become one of our go-to destinations in Palghar. Surrounded by lush greenery and steeped in a spiritual atmosphere, it has a unique aura that immediately calms your senses. There are two restaurants inside the premises one near the Mandir and another closer to the stay area. Both offer delicious, freshly prepared meals, and everything is managed with great care and attention to detail. This time, our visit coincided with Ekadashi, so the meals were aligned with the Ekadashi menu. Since we had checked in advance, we were prepared for it. But for others planning a visit, I’d definitely recommend confirming the meal plan beforehand, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the Ekadashi dietary restrictions. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the staff was courteous and always ready to help. The energy of the place is incredibly grounding and spiritual, it truly offers a peaceful escape from the chaos of everyday life. This time, we also got a chance to enjoy the swimming pool, which is quite spacious and well-maintained. They follow specific time slots for pool access, so you may want to check in advance. During our last visit, we had tried the spa services, and that too was a lovely experience. Overall, every visit to Govardhan Ecovillage feels wholesome a perfect combination of comfort, spirituality, and connection with nature. Whether you’re going for a spiritual retreat or just a peaceful break, it’s a place that leaves you feeling centered and renewed. I’m already looking forward to going back again.

The 20 of us visited Govardhan Eco Village on Saturday.. it was ekadashi and we all had a blissful trip n darshan at the madanmohan ji temple of Shri Krishna. This place is well maintained and is a huge place filled with greenery. The forest walk was the best part of this village. Each section had tales and statues depicting Shri Krishna birth and all that he achieved or faced in his life. The prabhuji's act as a guide n share small stories n folk lore along the way at each important area there....its lush green and truly serene. Away from the hustle n bustle of our concrete jungle. The place has free prasad at lunch time at Lalita bhavan....and there is also a paid canteen area which has a wide variety of eatables .There's a gaushala.....farm produce being sold like honey..ghee. .turmeric...millets...and vegetables .....a nursery which sells wonderful plants too at reasonable rates......there are innumerableplants, trees n flowers n fruits in the forest.. .the people there are all cooperative and polite n very respectful.... ISKCON is maintaing this area well. There are also rooms available for people who wish to stay there over the week or weekend....it has a Satwik environment n Satwik meals too. The best was the Krishna chanting, n jaap.....n later after 6pm the Yamuna aarti ....... Only request is for the management there to make arrangements for taking visitors in the travel buggy/ cart especially senior citizens who cannot walk long distances n experience the eco village....as now the service is fr those who have rooms there....all of us enjoyed the trip n the amazing day we spent there.

The place is located near manor, in lush green area developed in the surrounding. The rooms are quite well maintained with proper ambience. The room size is good enough apart from non ac room. The spiritual schedule is worth following. Golf carts are available to and fro from the rooms. Swimming pools is good and maintained but the changing rooms could be well maintained. 2 govindas restaurant are available one within the residential area and another near the main temple. The main temple is under construction with an upgradation process. A really worth experience at Govardhan ecovillage.

I was really looking forward to a peaceful and refreshing stay at Govardhan Eco Village, but unfortunately, my experience wasn’t as good as expected. Food was not available throughout the day, which was quite inconvenient. Also, for guests who regularly consume regular tea, it would be nice to have that option available — only herbal tea was served during my stay. What was most disappointing was how the staff woke us up abruptly for check-out, which completely disturbed our sleep. We were there to relax and unwind, but this really defeated the purpose of a peaceful getaway. Overall, the property and concept are good, but I hope the management pays attention to these small yet important details to improve the guest experience.

Kelwa Beach, also known as Kelva or Kelwe Beach, is a serene and pristine coastal destination located in Palghar district, Maharashtra. Spanning 8 kilometers (5 miles), this beach offers clean golden sands, clear waters, and a backdrop of casuarina trees. It's an ideal spot for leisure activities such as fishing and weekend getaways. The area also features a temple and the remains of two forts that add historical intrigue to the natural beauty.
Good for outdoor activities like football cricket. Great place to hangout with friends and families. Cleanest beach near Mumbai I have a request for everyone please don't litter here.

Good place to spend time, The beach is somewhat better than other.. If you are planning to visit the fort then you have to climb the walls as the entrance is closed. But it's a must visit place.

Kelwa Beach is beautiful and very clean. It’s peaceful since not many people visit,😍 making it perfect for a relaxing day or quality time with your partner 😅. There are also nearby hotels and restaurants that are budget-friendly, which makes the visit even more convenient. 🥰

On 4th October, 2025 it was less crowded. This is almost 40kms inside from Highway and road was not very good. Beach was clean i.e no plastic waste or bottles found. Washroom closed at 6pm. No facilities!

The beach is huge in length and size and we can experience a clean and beautiful air and atmosphere, the beach is not that busy and there are few crowds.Me and my friends visited during the rainy season the atmosphere was really great we experienced light rains and strong winds .One negative point is that the beach is not maintained and dirty. So if you want to calm yourself do visit the beach next time
Nirant P — Google review
Nice clean beach but i don't know why there is entry fees. On beach there were many activities were available like camel ride, rough terrain bike ride and horse cart ride. Near to beach there are many small outlet who sell eatables like vada pav bhaji pav, cold drink and water. All at nominal price.

Kelwa Beach provides a picturesque setting with its stunning sunset views, camel and horse rides, and abundant coconut trees. Winter is the recommended time to visit, but swimmers should be cautious due to the salty water. Proper eye protection and swimwear are essential, especially for children. Overall, it's a serene destination for those seeking relaxation and natural beauty, with precautions necessary for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Metro Junction Mall

Shopping
Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan has undergone significant improvements over the years, transforming into a lively shopping center with a vibrant outdoor plaza, a popular movie theater, and an array of dining options in its food court. The mall now boasts numerous branded and fashion clothing stores at reasonable prices, making it an ideal destination for shoppers. Its clean and well-maintained facilities create a pleasant atmosphere for visitors to enjoy their time spent with family and children.
Decent spot in Kalyan for entertainment. The mall is in good condition due to recent renovations and upgrades. Though, it is largely crowded during weekends, you would be lucky to get a seat in the food court. Many shops are present for fashion shopping with different deals and discounts all year. Foreign brands like Starbucks have recently opened as well, if one wants to visit. Overall a well maintained facility with higher degrees of cleanliness but can be improved.
Rohan S — Google review
The mall is big and has a great variety of brands, making it a nice place to visit and have fun. However, cleanliness is a major issue—cockroaches can be seen everywhere, even in the food court. There are no proper dustbins for waste disposal, and the washrooms are extremely dirty. No hand wash was provided, the flush wasn’t working, and the smell was unbearable. While the shopping experience is good, the management seriously needs to improve hygiene and maintenance.
Snehal K — Google review
A great place for shopping and leisure. The mall has a good mix of brands, a decent food court, and a multiplex for movies. It’s spacious and usually well-maintained. Gets a bit crowded on weekends, but overall a solid spot to hang out with family or friends.

Great place to hang out with friends as well as family, you can watch a movie or have fun in the zingeria play various games and have fun. The food in the mall is great as well you'll find many brands which you may love. you can shop various types of clothes and jewellery but the highlight is the ice creams on the 2nd floor. kids will enjoy more happy returns

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best malls in the area, offering a complete shopping and entertainment experience. It has a wide variety of stores like Westside, Pantaloons, Zudio, Yousta, Cotton Clutcher, Style Up, Trends, and many more – covering everything from trendy fashion to affordable daily wear and ethnic collections. Household shopping is easy with MR.DIY and Reliance Smart Bazaar, while the food court has great options like Haldiram’s and Shawarmaji for quick and tasty meals. The mall is spacious, with a good mix of budget-friendly and branded outlets, plus frequent discounts and offers across stores. While some shops could improve their inventory freshness, overall it’s a convenient place for shopping, dining, and spending time with family or friends.
Mahesh C — Google review
Metro junction mall in Kalyan is a popular retail chain that offers a great shopping experience for those looking to buy a variety of products at affordable prices. The store is spacious and well-organized, making it easy to navigate through different sections, including groceries, household items, apparel, and more. One of the best things about Metro juntion mall is its pricing. You can find a wide range of products, from daily essentials to special offers, at competitive prices. Whether it’s fresh produce, packaged goods, or cleaning supplies, Metro junction mall consistently provides good value for money, which is why it attracts a lot of shoppers. They often have discounts and bulk offers, making it a great place for budget-conscious buyers. The store is typically well-stocked, and I’ve always found the staff to be helpful when I need assistance. However, during peak hours, the store can get quite crowded, which might make shopping a bit less pleasant. The checkout lines can also get long, but this is to be expected at such a popular retail destination. Parking is available, but depending on the time of day, it might be a bit of a challenge to find a spot. Despite this, Metro juntion mall in Kalyan is a reliable option for quick, affordable shopping, and it’s one of my go-to places for daily essentials.
Manjit. G — Google review
Metro Junction Mall in Kalyan is one of the best places to spend time with friends and family. The mall is really big and shiny, with a lively atmosphere. It offers a wide variety of options — from food courts and restaurants to clothing stores and other shopping outlets, so there’s always something for everyone. The overall vibe is modern and enjoyable, making it a good spot not just for shopping, but also for hanging out. A little improvement in crowd management and maintenance would make it perfect, but overall, it’s a great place to visit.
S4NDESH D — Google review
Metro Junction Mall, Kalyan West is one of the biggest malls in the area and a popular hangout spot. It has a wide range of stores for shopping, a good selection of restaurants, and a multiplex for movies. The mall is spacious, well-maintained, and offers ample parking. Louisa Point, located 2 kilometers from Matheran's main market, is a popular lookout spot offering panoramic views of the Sahyadri range, Arabian Sea, waterfalls, valleys, and nearby villages. It is a favorite among hikers and photographers due to its majestic vistas of ancient forts like Prabal Fort and Vishalgad.
We visited Matheran in weekend and it was as expected crowded than weekdays. Everything is expensive over there starting from food to horse rides to handicrafts. You will get no network so carry cash with yourself. Try to walk and visit all the points rather than waiting for a horse ride. It's a wholesome experience. You will experience serenity, peace to the fullest. Loved it. A proper one day trip.
Juthika B — Google review
Louisa Point, situated in the serene hill station of Matheran, Maharashtra, India, is a popular vantage point offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and majestic mountains of the Western Ghats. Perched at an elevation of approximately 800 meters, it provides a tranquil escape and a feast for the eyes. Named after Lady Louisa, the wife of Lord Elphinstone, this point is a must-visit for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. On a clear day, one can witness the distant forts of Prabal and Vishalgad, and even catch a glimpse of the Mumbai skyline. The lush greenery, especially vibrant during the monsoon season, adds to the charm of the vista. Reaching Louisa Point involves a pleasant walk of about 1.5 kilometers from the main Matheran market, or a scenic horse ride. The journey through the dense forests is an experience in itself. The tranquility and the stunning views make Louisa Point a truly unforgettable spot in Matheran.
TripperHD V — Google review
Louisa Point is almost 1.5 km away from the marketplace and will take around 20 minutes to reach here on foot. If it's a clear sunny day, this place will offer you breathtaking views that will compel you to settle down here for a moment. This is a unique point in Matheran as it offers two different picturesque views. From one point, you can see the sky touching the mountains and a civilisation located far in a valley. If you visit during monsoon, you'll also be captivated by waterfalls. Another view is of Lake Charlotte that looks like a diamond necklace when seen from here. Louisa Point also offers a clear view of Prabal Fort. All these different views are intriguing and one can spend hours gazing at them. We sat there, soaked in the beauty of the place and relishing moments of silence. This place is known as a photographer's paradise in Matheran because it offers panoramic views of mountains, peaks, valleys, lake and waterfalls. In most of the travel portals, blogs and magazines, Matheran has been represented by using Louisa Point's pictures. During the peak season, photo points are a little crowded and sometimes you need to be patient for your view to be ‘people free’, but all your waiting time is worth those beautiful, dreamy and wallpaper pictures. Some people also stay at Louisa Point to watch the sunset.

Very beautiful view point in Matheran. Huge open space for you to sit, relax, spend some time with yourself or family/ friends, absorb the atmosphere (take tons of pictures if you wish to!). On one side you have the beautiful landscape of hills and plateau and on the other side you have a beautiful waterfall! There’s a long fence on the right, however there is a point where the fence is broken and one can just hop over and walk to the edge of the ledge for an adrenaline rush (although not advisable)!

Louisa Point in Matheran is one of the most serene and picturesque viewpoints I’ve ever visited. Known for its panoramic views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and distant plains, it offers a truly refreshing experience for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts alike. The walk to reach Louisa Point is scenic, with red soil paths, lush greenery, and the occasional sight of local wildlife adding charm to the journey. Once you arrive, the view is absolutely worth it — you can see miles of rolling hills, dense forests, and sometimes even mist floating across the valleys, especially during the monsoon season. What makes Louisa Point special is the calm and peaceful atmosphere. Unlike some of the more crowded points in Matheran, here you can take your time, sit back, and enjoy the beauty of nature without feeling rushed. It’s perfect for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, or for anyone who simply wants to capture some incredible landscape photographs. The cool breeze, the rustling of leaves, and the quiet surroundings make it a rejuvenating experience. A small tip for visitors: carry water, wear comfortable shoes, and try visiting early in the morning or late afternoon for the best views and lighting for photography. Overall, Louisa Point is a hidden gem of Matheran and a must-visit spot for anyone exploring this beautiful hill station.

Charlotte Lake, also known as Sharlott Lake, is a serene reservoir located 2 kilometers from Matheran Railway Station in Maharashtra. It is a popular tourist destination and a must-visit spot in the best hill station of Maharashtra. The lake is at its fullest during the monsoon season, offering a picturesque view with its small dam and waterfalls. Surrounded by lush green forests, it provides an ideal setting for nature enthusiasts, peace seekers, and bird watchers.
This is probably the best place to spend time with the company of calmness in Matheran. To reach Charlotte Lake, it would require a little trekking following the trail in the wild. The lake is beautiful, totally worth the little trek to reach there. It feels peaceful to sit by the lake especially when you've got good company along with you. It's definitely a must visit place in Matheran.

Charlotte Lake & Lord’s View Point are next to each other. It’s known for the pretty sunsets, there are small stores close by that sell snacks and tea. It’s a small hike for 15min from the main path. It is super safe both at day and night to walk through the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re at Matheran for visit.

It's a must-visit if you're heading to this beautiful hill station. This serene spot lets you sit quietly by the lake, absorb the tranquility, and truly feel connected to nature. To reach the lake, you'll need to trek a bit through the forest — a refreshing and adventurous experience. While horse rides are also available, the walk through the woods is something you shouldn’t miss. ⚠️ A word of caution: During the monsoon, the path can get slippery, and accidents have happened in the past — so please be careful if you’re visiting during the rains.

Nature & Parks
Sanjay Gandhi National Park, formerly known as Borivali National Park, is a sprawling forested park located in Mumbai. It is one of the largest and most popular nature reserves in India. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including tigers and leopards. Visitors can explore the ancient Kanheri Caves within the park, which are Buddhist cave temples dating back to the first century BC.
Sanjay Gandhi National Park Visit We started 2025 with a trip to Sanjay Gandhi National Park on 1st January. The park opens at 8 AM, and although the ticket queue was long, it was worth the wait. Entry tickets were ₹110 per person, with car parking charged at ₹50 per hour. We walked about 7 km, taking in the serene beauty of this lush green haven in the heart of Mumbai. The experience was delightful, with scenic mountains, dense trees, playful monkeys, and deer adding to the charm. The butterfly garden was another highlight, with pretty butterflies fluttering all around. The tiger safari, bus fair at ₹136 per person, was an incredible adventure where we spotted tigers, cubs, and a lioness. Unfortunately, we missed the toy train ride as the lanes are currently under redevelopment, but we’ll be back to try it on our next visit. With so much left to explore, it’s clear the park can’t be fully covered in a single day. We’re already planning a revisit to experience more of this incredible destination. Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a perfect weekend escape, offering a blend of nature and adventure. A must-visit for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors!

Van- ₹1350 both ways for the group. Bus of BEST - ₹20 from each side per person. There are buggy's also which take u to safari ticket counter not to kanheri so make your decision wisely.Ticket- ₹50 per person one way. And the visiting ticket to kanheri cave-₹25 /person. Total 109 caves worth seeing marvellous views especially in monsoon season. Then comes Lion safari- 2 km from main entrance,Ticket -₹ 136 per person. Bus will take you around for safari in which you will see lions, lioness, tigers and yes with full precautions. Museums can also be your choice but the adventure doing things I have already mentioned. To my view go to kanheri caves first as it is 7km away from main entrance and then enjoy the other things. Sanjay Gandhi National Park is honestly one of my favorite places to take a break from Mumbai’s chaos. The moment you enter, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world — peaceful, green, and full of life. It’s hard to believe something this calm exists within the city. I visited early in the morning, and the air was fresh and cool. Walking through the forest trails with birds chirping all around was such a refreshing experience. I also rented a cycle and explored the park a bit deeper — totally worth it if you enjoy riding through nature. One of the highlights for me was the Kanheri Caves. Climbing up to the caves, with all the ancient carvings and the view of the forest from the top, felt like stepping into history. It’s both peaceful and awe-inspiring. What I love most about the park is how it balances natural beauty with easy access. Whether you're into trekking, cycling, photography, or just sitting quietly among trees, this place has something for everyone. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to nature. Highly recommend spending a few hours here — especially if you live in Mumbai and just need to breathe.
Aditya — Google review
It's nice but NOT a must place. There is a round trip trail which will be totaled around 14km. The highlight will be the caves. I have rented a bicycle at the entrance of the park- and I really recommend the bicycle option. I think the park opens around 8 and also the bicycle rental opens at 8am. You will need to deposit about 300rupi and leave an ID. Then the fee will be 80rupi for 2h. The road is mostly flat. You will need to park the bicycle and to walk about 1km to get to the cave site. There are many toilets around and small stands that sell drinks and fruits. What to bring: A lot of water Money ID (for bicycle) Cap and sports clothing (be ready to sweat) Cost The day I came it was a public holiday so entry was free. Bicycle 80rupi/2h Entrance to cave 300rupi (for foreigners)

Historical place
Nestled within the Sanjay Gandhi National Park in Mumbai, India, the Kanheri Caves are a remarkable testament to ancient Buddhist architecture and art. Carved by monks over 2,000 years ago, these 109 caves feature rock-hewn temples adorned with intricate sculptures, paintings of Buddha, and inscriptions dating from the 1st century BCE to the 10th century AD.
Kanheri Caves, situated at Borivali. The Caves carved from solid rocks, in the era 2nd BC to 11th BC. Somewhere when Samrat Ashoka wanted to spread the Buddhist Religion. There are 102 Caves situated at various levels. The Budh Stupas which are a common in Buddhist are seen at various levels. Once upon a time it was free to Public, but now they have started with entrance tickets. INR 103/- per person. For Senior Citizens the price is kept the same. A yearly pass for Senior Citizens is available only from Tuesdays to Fridays @ INR 41/-. The pass must be available on Sundays too. The ticket window opens at 8.00 a.m. only. They should make arrangements to start earliest by 7.00 a.m. Public can start by 7.00 a.m. and by the time Sun starts spreading its heat, people can start returning. The carvings are beautiful, it is difficult to understand how in those days people must have carved in the Rock? Drainage system, fresh water pockets all well thought and seen. The famous Buddhist Stupas are seen at various Caves. Few Caves are situated at an elevated levels. Sculptures are marvelous but few are damaged mat be by the Invaders in those times. Security is stationed at all levels. WashRoom facility is available. Even Canteen facility is available, picnic tables are layed for people to enjoy there breakfast or snacks. One should be careful of the Monkeys, they are spread in all the areas. It is mind boggling to see such architectural beauty of those times when proper instruments erre not available but still people have worked and have made such wonders. One has to see it physically to experience this fact. At each Cave an inscription is displayed, explaining the details of that particular Cave. Archeological Society has constructed few steps with railings for people to climb up the levels.

Visited: November 2024 I'm an explorer who loves to visit historical and archaeological places, and Kanheri Caves was a real treat! Took a train to Borivali and then a shared auto for ₹25 to reach Sanjay Gandhi National Park. From there, I took the ₹20 shuttle bus that takes you straight to the caves. It’s amazing how such a peaceful and serene spot exists in the middle of Mumbai! The caves are well-maintained, and the history here is incredible. I was astonished by the big standing Buddha statue—it’s both impressive and calming. The ancient water management system carved into the stone is fascinating—stone channels and cisterns designed to collect and guide rainwater. It’s amazing how advanced the architecture was for its time. The ancient monk cells were another highlight—small, carved-out rooms where monks once lived and meditated. Walking through them, you really feel the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of the place. It’s like stepping back into a different time. I spent about 3 hours exploring every cave—be prepared for a lot of walking and stairs. Carry plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and take your time to appreciate the surroundings. There are plenty of shaded spots to rest, which definitely helps. A big thanks to the security guards—one of them saved me from an aggressive monkey and handed me his stick for protection. Beware of monkeys if you’re carrying food—they’re quick! Tip: Go early to avoid the heat, keep your food sealed, and enjoy the peaceful vibe of this historical escape. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place to visit. From entrance you have to take government bus which is chargeable to reach the cave. A full day is required to understand each and every cave in detail. The security guards help us voluntarily in explaining the sculptures. Restroom and refreshment is available at the location.

Water Kingdom is a family-friendly water park that offers a variety of attractions for both kids and adults. As the oldest amusement park in its city, it is part of a twin theme park along with Essel World. The park features thrilling rides such as high-speed slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. It also boasts India's largest aqua play pool and ensures safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
Visited this place 4-5 times since 2010 to 2025, with family, friends and on a school trip. Had a lot of fun each and everytime. Not a lot has changed here, traditional slides. Every time I visited, there were 1-2 slides which were closed, but I am a wavepool person, so I don't really care about the slides. 😅 Staff is friendly, food options/outlets are good and have a variety. Food is costly though, so you need to plan your budget. One thing which can be improved on is the free water they provide, they can have disposable cups, so that hygiene is maintained and improve the quality of drinking water.

There is a shuttle service from parking to the Water Kingdom, which costs 1750rs per ticket. There are several food courts that are slightly more expensive, but the cuisine is of good quality. You also have kebab and beer counters. You can also plan Pagoda simply 5min drive likewise Gorai beach again 5min drive. Essel world is just beside water kingdom

Had a great time at Water Kingdom! Visited for just one day but made the most of it. The ferry ride was fun, and the slides were exciting and well-maintained. Perfect place to beat the heat and enjoy with friends or family. The staff was helpful, and the park was quite clean. Would definitely recommend for a fun water-filled day!

Visited Water Kingdom in Gorai on a weekday with family, and it turned out to be a great decision since the park was much less crowded. All the water slides were functional and well-maintained, which added to the fun. If you're driving, note that parking is available about 10 minutes away from the park and costs ₹150 for a four-wheeler. However, there's a convenient free shuttle bus service from the parking area to the entrance. Alternatively, if you're coming from Borivali, you can take the dedicated Water Kingdom ferry boats. For those riding two-wheelers, you can use the Gorai ferry service, which accommodates bikes. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, perfect for a relaxed family outing without the weekend rush.

Amazing experience. Visit in off seasons & avoid visiting on public holidays N weekends especially in peakseason. Wave pool 🌊 is amazing. Food is amazing only they have to work on expand/rise/put more rides in water park. Otherwise best experience for us.

It's one of good place to visit along with friends. Their rides like Adventures Amazonia, What-A-Coaster & wave pool are amazing. The only concerning point is their price of food which is way more costly as compare to normal hotel.

Amazing Water Park Experience!I I had a fantastic time at this water park! The rides were exciting, and there was something for everyone. The cleanliness was impressive, with spotless facilities throughout the park. Safety was clearly a priority, with lifeguards at every attraction. It's the perfect spot for a fun, safe, and relaxing day out. Highly recommend!

It has been a go-to destination for both locals and tourists, boasting the title of being the oldest and most popular amusement park in the city. The park constantly updates its offerings with new rides and attractions to keep visitors entertained.
Water Kingdom: A Splashing Good Time for the Whole Family We recently had a fantastic day out at Water Kingdom with our family of 20. From the moment we stepped into the park, we were greeted with a vibrant atmosphere and a wide range of exciting water rides. The kids had a blast on the thrilling slides, the lazy river, and the wave pool. There was something for everyone, regardless of age or level of adventure. The park was well-maintained and clean, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all. We also appreciated the ample seating areas and food options available within the park. I think EsselWorld is a great spot to spend your weekend rather than going outside Mumbai. It has a Bird park , Water Park and Peace Pagoda. And most importantly, Greenery everywhere. I have created a full video and uploaded it on my YouTube channel. Name : Discover India with Uttam. Easiest way to go there is 1. First reach to boriwali railway station 2. Take bus or Rickshaw (10-15 min from the station) 3. Ferry ride of 15 min ( 100 rs ticket return Journey) Peace Pagoda don't have an entry ticket. It is a beautiful hidden spot in Mumbai. If you are planing Bird park then please visit in Oct - Dec. Hope it helps

Families and kids love Rio Grande Train, Mirror Maze, and Monsters in the Mist. The park has something for everyone — from mild fun rides to heart-pounding roller coasters. Clean and Well-Maintained Environment Many visitors praise the park’s cleanliness and upkeep. The surroundings are neat, the rides are well-maintained, and safety measures are followed strictly. Perfect for Family Outings and School Trips EsselWorld is a favorite destination for family outings, school picnics, and group trips. The park’s layout, open spaces, and wide range of entertainment options make it a joyful experience for both children and adults. Beautiful Location and Vibe Located near Gorai Beach, reaching EsselWorld itself is fun — you can take a short and scenic ferry ride from Marve or Borivali. The park has a lively, colorful, and energetic atmosphere that adds to the overall fun. Good Food and Facilities The food courts offer plenty of options — from Indian snacks to multi-cuisine meals. Visitors appreciate the vegetarian food options, reasonable prices, and hygienic environment. Value for Money The ticket prices are considered reasonable for the experience you get. Combo packages with Water Kingdom offer even more fun for You said: And some pics ChatGPT said: Here are some photos of EsselWorld / Water Kingdom, Mumbai — shows rides, the entrance, people enjoying, the colourful vibe. If you want, I can send higher-resolution images or specific ones (like roller coasters, water rides, kids’ zone) for your post.

It is one of the best amusement park of India. The place contains the ride for children as well as for adults. One can spend a whole day here and have fun. The entry price is also fine but it doesn’t include all the rides, for some rides you will be charged at their respective counters. They have a theatre as well in the park. Their are two sections of the park one is the amusement and the other one is water. Regarding the price for the food it’s way too high and the outside food is not allowed which at last will help in increasing your budget. The place is good for friends family and children.

This is the excellent amazing place to enjoy with family. Rights in this park are amazing. I have not ever enjoy a rather than Essel World. There are 360 roller coaster, shot and drop, top spin and thunder rides are the best thrilling rides all over the India I will highly recommend if you want to spend some time for fun and relaxing with family. It's worth of it.

D Y Patil Sports Stadium, designed by renowned architect Hafeez Contractor, is a top-notch venue that has hosted 3 IPL matches for the Mumbai Indians and the 2008 IPL Final. It's not just a cricket stadium; it also offers facilities like tennis courts, badminton courts, and an Olympic-sized swimming pool. The stadium hosts big international events and concerts in addition to sports games.
I watched the IND vs NZ Women’s match at DY Patil Stadium and it was my first ever live stadium experience. I must say, the stadium exceeded my expectations. The view of the ground from the seating area was excellent, and the arrangements were organized very well. The seats were comfortable and the stadium was very clean, including washrooms and common areas. The entry and exit process was smooth and hassle-free, without any crowd chaos. The overall vibe and crowd energy made the experience even better. Loved it and would definitely recommend attending a match here!
Ajinkya K — Google review
DY Patil Stadium is one of the best venues in India — spacious, and very well maintained. The view from almost every seat is great, and the sound system during matches or concerts is top-notch. The crowd energy here is unbeatable! A must-visit for cricket fans, and the vibe during live events is absolutely electric

I recently visited DY Patil Stadium to watch the India vs Australia Women’s semifinal, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was electric, and the crowd’s energy made the match even more exciting. The stadium is well-maintained, seating arrangements are comfortable, and the view from almost every section is great. The facilities were clean, and the staff were quite helpful in guiding people to their seats. The only area that could improve is the food queue management during breaks, but overall, it was a memorable day watching top-quality cricket in such a fantastic venue.

An amazing experience at DY Patil Stadium! Went here for the Women’s Cricket Worldcup Finals and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The stadium is huge, well-maintained, and the view from every stand is fantastic. The crowd energy made the match even more special! The facilities were clean, security and entry were well managed, and the sound system was great. A perfect place to enjoy live sports, can’t wait to visit again for the next match!
Saurabh M — Google review
Watching the India Women vs Australia Women semifinal at DY Patil Stadium was an electrifying experience, offering both high-level cricket and a pulsating stadium atmosphere. DY Patil’s amenities stood out for their cleanliness and accessibility. Restrooms were regularly maintained even during peak crowd times, and food stalls offered a range of snacks—from classic stadium fare like popcorn and samosas to more elaborate options like wraps and biryani. Quick service ensured minimal time away from the live action. Security was efficient, with smooth entry and exit processes.
Rushal K — Google review
It was a great experience watching the match at this stadium! The atmosphere and crowd energy were amazing. However, food and soft drinks are quite expensive inside. Also, they don’t allow bags, coins in pockets, or even flag sticks — not even cardboard or paper ones — so plan accordingly. If you get seats in F or G Block, there’s a good chance you’ll appear on live TV during the match!
Mukesh ( — Google review
The stadium is located in Nerul. Easily accessible by road as next to puna highway. Nearest to Sanpada or nerul station. Have nice seating areas 360 view and airy. Washrooms are available only at base. Had opportunity to watch many shows and matches..nearby by hotels and motels available. Check view in photos..d block and two levels are available for panaromic view. Keep following for more updates.
Devendra ( — Google review
Lovely experience at stadium. But few improvements needed: 1) some arrangement of transport for senior people 2) on1y 1 washroom operational. Long queue during matches. 3) some shades to avoid rains especially on way to gates

Theme park
Water & Amusement Parks
Large amusement park with rides, water slides, restaurants & an indoor park with artificial snow.
Truly one of the best theme parks in India till date. I visited during the off-season, so there was hardly any crowd—which was a big plus! I got to enjoy some of the top rides like Nitro, Gold Rush, and Deep Space not just once, but two to three times without long waiting lines. These rides are a must-try if you love thrill and adventure. The morning parade brings the park to life with characters and music, and the evening light and water show is a perfect way to end the day—really well done and full of energy. The quality of food inside the park restaurants is also surprisingly good, with decent options for both kids and adults. Overall, it's a complete day of fun, adventure, and entertainment.

In case one plans to do both; 2 full days are required. The rides are amazing and fun with family/ friends. Tickets can be booked online / offline. There are eateries inside the park. Amada serving amazing pizzas. Red bonnet serving fab burgers. Thali, buffet and jain food is also available. Locker facility available inside the park for your belongings. For water park dry fit attire is necessary. One can change once they r done with the rides. After 6 pm when the rides are closed there is a carnival in the premises. Also the park looks beautiful after sunset because of the lighting and fountains.

Imagica truly feels magical the moment you enter. Kids and adults enjoy rides equally Water flume ride = guaranteed fun & getting soaked Classic carousel = perfect for kids Indoor shooting ride = friendly competition Evening lighting = breathtaking The lake area becomes a photo-perfect spot after sunset The park is beautifully maintained, vibrant, and designed for family fun. --- ⚠️ Important Note: Crowd & Waiting Time Because we went during the Diwali peak break, the park was fully packed. Popular rides had 60–120 minute waiting Long queues even at food counters Only limited rides could be covered in one day Conclusion: Holiday seasons, long weekends, and school breaks = heavy crowd. --- 🎟️ Most Important Tip: Book EXPRESS Tickets If you’re going during a busy period (Diwali, New Year, summer vacation, long weekends), Express Tickets are strongly recommended. Yes, they cost extra — but they: ✔️ Reduce waiting time by 70–80% ✔️ Let you enjoy more rides ✔️ Save energy (especially with kids) ✔️ Make the trip stress-free Honestly, during festive seasons, Express Pass is the smartest and most valuable choice. --- 🕒 Best Time to Visit Imagica ✔️ Best Days (Less Crowd) Weekdays Non-holiday periods April-end to early June (exam season) 2–3 days after festivals ✔️ Best Time to Reach Park opens at 10:00 AM Recommended arrival: 9:15–9:30 AM (for parking & security) ✔️ Start Your Day With These Rides (shorter lines in morning) Nitro Deep Space Rajasaurus Scream Machine ✔️ Evening Parade & lighting show around 6 PM Lake area is perfect for photos --- 🧭 Planning Tips Before You Go ✔️ Book tickets online 2–3 days earlier ✔️ Carry water bottles, cap, and power bank ✔️ For kids, a stroller is helpful ✔️ Carry a rain poncho in monsoon season ✔️ Outside food is not allowed, but food combos are available inside --- 🏁 Final Verdict — Should You Visit? Absolutely YES! Imagica is one of the best family theme parks in India with amazing rides, beautiful ambiance, and great entertainment. But remember: ✔️ Holiday Season = Heavy crowd ✔️ Express Ticket = Best investment ✔️ Weekdays = Best overall experience Plan smart, go early, and your Imagica trip will turn into an unforgettable memory for your family!

A Magical Day at Imagica, With a Word of Advice! Our family visited Adlabs Imagica on October 21st, and what a day it was! From the moment we walked in, the park felt vibrant. The kids (and adults!) loved the rides. We had a blast getting soaked on the water flume, taking a spin on the classic carousel, and getting competitive on the indoor shooting ride. As evening fell, the park completely transformed with beautiful lights, making the whole place feel truly magical, especially the area around the lake. However, we need to share a very important tip. Our visit coincided with the peak Diwali festival break, and we weren't the only ones with the idea! The park was packed with families, which created a fantastic, festive atmosphere but also meant one thing: a huge rush. This led to a massive number of people in the queues and, as you'd expect, very long waiting times for all the popular rides. We still managed to have a great time and make wonderful memories (the pictures prove it!), but the waiting definitely took up a big part of our day. So, here is our number one piece of advice for anyone planning to visit Imagica during a busy period like Diwali, a long weekend, or any school holiday: It is highly advised to book the Express tickets. It might cost extra, but it will save you hours of standing in line and let you enjoy far more of the amazing attractions the park has to offer. Overall, a fantastic park for family fun, but plan smart during the holidays!

Imagica is a really good place to visit with friends and family. Wide variety of rides. Loved deep space ride, it's dark like space with starry ceiling and the speed of 200km/hour the twist and turns will surely challenge your brain equilibrium. Loved it the most. Then nitro roller coaster 160km/hour was amazing too. Gold rush with the speed of 80km/hour is at 3rd rank for me after Deep space and nitro. I for india, Mr india, salimghadh/ banghadh, were good too. Dead drop was a slight disappointing. Chota Bheem ride for kids, sloch monster were good for kids. Dancer / performer's were good treat. The water fountain show at the end of the day was soothing.
