From Periyar bus stand taken to jetty and carried out boat ride. One can purchase tickets at jetty itself if done earlier online. Excellent arrangements. One can opt for green walk also. Truly mesmerizing.

The Periyar National Park was very nice and calm & very nearby to my stay. The boat ride was amazing. Our guide on the boat explained everything really well. The environment is very well maintained and preseved by the locals. It is a tourist worthy place. It was a peaceful 1.5 hours on the waters.

My visit to Periyar National Park was an amazing experience. I went bamboo rafting, took a boat safari. Rafting program includes 7 km trek into the forest and the rafting. It's lasted about an hour for one way. Although animal sightings were few, the trek and overall natural beauty made it worthwhile. If you’re hoping for more wildlife, the best time to visit is between April and May the animals will more easily spotted.

We choosed Nature walk activity at 7:30 am. It was a beautiful journey inside the forest along the lake side with a guide. While walking we heard sounds of forest crickets, singing birds, and loud noises produced by apha male langurs jumping from trees to trees. We got lucky to catch a glimpse of rare black sloth bear and spotted many wild fauna in their habitat such as Sambar deer, nilgiri tahr, giant squirrel, nilgiri langurs, forest spiders, wood peckers, hornbill and king fishers. We also spotted pugmark of a tiger which was a thrilling experience as just to know that a tiger was there on the same path of ours just a few hrs back. We booked our tickets from tourist information centre located near bamboo grove and their ticket centre in Kumily. However, one can easily book tickets online. There are lots of activities they provide like bamboo rafting, trekking, different types of walk, safari, boating and many more. Private vehicles are not allowed inside the forest as the tourism here is restricted by the forest dept of the Kerala state govt. Cafes and canteen available ✔️ Restroom 🚻 available ✔️ Highly recommended to pre-book the tickets for any of your choice of activities. We really enjoyed this journey and found this an excellent option to get digital detox through this forest tranquility.

Absolutely beautiful. Huge lake spread across few hectairs, with dence forest trees leaning by its banks. Deers, Neel Gai, grazing the grasses. Very well maintained. The best time to visit is from October to February, when the weather is pleasant, cool, and the forest looks vibrant and green. We were lucky to spot elephants, deer, and several bird species during our visit — a perfect place for nature and wildlife lovers. The peaceful atmosphere and scenic beauty of the forest make it a must-visit in Kerala. Highly recommend taking the early morning Nature walk and Green walk for the best experience!

The beach has a nice and cool atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot to relax and unwind. The surroundings are calm and peaceful, perfect for spending some leisure time. There are many small shops nearby selling food, ice cream, juices, and snacks, so you’ll never run out of options to munch on. The play areas and leisure spaces are also well-maintained and neatly arranged, making it a good place for families and children. However, there’s a slight fishy smell in beach areas, which can be unpleasant at times. Apart from that, the beach itself is beautiful and offers a refreshing experience overall.

Visited Alappuzha Beach in the evening. It was a very active and lively beach. The weather was beautiful and pleasant when we visited. There are many coffee shops, cake shops,and restaurants located below the pine trees, creating a great vibe. You’ll need to park along the roadside under the N.H. overbridge.It’s a wonderful place to spend time with family and friends. oilet facilities are available, but they are not very clean. 🏖️ A truly beautiful beach with a refreshing atmosphere.

Gorgeous long beach on the Arabian sea... perfect for walking. Big waves. Lots of small stalls/shops along the way.. Jet skiing, quads and speed boat trips on beach.. very cheap approx €6 for jet skiing.

This is one of the most beautiful, serene and less crowded beach I have ever visited. The water is usually quite and it might surprise you with prettiest rainbow in the middle of nowhere as well. We also did a lot of shell hunting and found beautiful sea shells. There are beautiful cafes, small food joints along with the beach. You can visit with your family, friends and your partner and can enjoy the peaceful atmosphere around the beach. Make sure to not litter and be respectful and responsible towards the beach.

Visited at night — the beach was calm, breezy, and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing walk by the waves. However, there’s no proper parking facility, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, a nice spot to unwind! 🌊

A very relaxing place with a lovely sea breeze. The sunset here is amazing, and photos taken during that time come out beautifully. There are plenty of snack shops nearby, so it's convenient if you want a quick bite. It is also a good spot to bring kids and spend some peaceful time. We visited around 11:00 am. First buy a entry ticket at the parking area then wait for the forest bus to pick up and then the journey starts. Once you reach the forest you have to buy boating tickets for ride, if u don't want to ride then you can also visit surrounded areas of the lake by other ways like trekking or walking. We reached late and by the time there was no boat for the ride and the next ride was after one hour so it was not worth the ride. So we take pictures at the entry point of the lake and nearby surrounding areas.

The safari lasts for one and a half hours and provides an amazing opportunity to see wildlife along the lake's banks. To access the boat safari, I took a bus from the city, where there is excellent paid parking available. This was very convenient for me, as I traveled from Bangalore in my own vehicle. The parking area is spacious and very safe. The ticket counter for the bus, which takes you to the starting point of the boat safari, is located at the end of the parking lot. The bus journey took about half an hour. There are various time slots available for the boat safari, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. I chose the 1:45 PM to 3:15 PM slot. All the staff involved in the management were very helpful and humble, enhancing the overall experience. After finishing the boat ride, the return bus took us back to the same parking lot, and we did not need to buy bus tickets again. I forgot to carry binoculars, but if you want to watch the wildlife closely, it's a must-have. Photography enthusiasts should definitely bring zoom cameras. I visited in October, and the weather was pleasant, making the experience even more enjoyable. Periyar Boat Safari is a must-visit for nature lovers, offering a blend of adventure and serenity.

This lake is inside the national park . The ticket price is 250 each for boat in this park and lake visit. The bus will take you from tickets counter to the park and then the ticket for boat ride. There is cafeteria and complex too. It’s an 1.5 hour boat ride and the way is too beautiful. If you are lucky then you will watch birds and animals there drinking water at the bank of the lake. Also camping and staying available there . We had morning batch boat and the views are too good .

A very good place to visit if you are in thekkady. Plan your day accordingly because there are lots of thing to do here Periyar lake boating is common here and if your are planning to do it kindly book you ticket in advance no offline ticket is possible here . It's a boat ride for 3 hours on Periyar Lake in the Periyar National Park. Upward journey takes 1.5 hrs and downward journey takes 1.5 hrs. You can find some wild animals like sambars, elephants, tigers (if you are lucky enough). You will certainly find the Sambars as they are more in number. We had found 4 cute Cubs but from a long distance, watched them on Binocular. The ticket price is ₹255 which is very reasonable price for 3 hrs ride.

We stayed one week and it was wonderful. Too bad there are very big waves so it's not easy to swim. The beach is clean.. not 100% but clean. There was a big procession and thousands of people left there garbage but the next morning it was clean.

A beautiful and clean beach with a calm atmosphere. Marari Beach is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. It’s not very crowded, and you can walk peacefully along the shore. The beach is well kept, and the coconut trees add to its charm. A great place to unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of Kerala.

Beach is quiet neat but you cannot bathe here as the waters are aggressive and the shore is deep just may be dip your foot. The major concern here are the dogs in large nos. So be careful carry a stick or something for safety.

Very good and decent beach, has very little crowd and peaceful. Difficult to change dress so better not to make any swimming unless you made prior arrangements. Small shops are available for cool drinks and soda. People there will charge 100/- for 2 chairs and umbrella to rest for some time.

A peaceful and memorable visit to Madurai Meenakshi Temple I recently visited the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple and it was a beautiful experience. The temple is grand and full of history, with amazing carvings and colorful towers. At the moment, the towers are under renovation and painting work is going on, so most of them are covered. Still, the temple’s beauty and energy can be felt everywhere. Inside, the atmosphere is calm and spiritual. The darshan of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareswarar felt very peaceful. Even though it was crowded, everything was fairly well organized. One thing to be careful about — there are a lot of people outside trying to mislead visitors, especially auto drivers and some shopkeepers. They might say there’s no cloakroom inside, but don’t believe that. There are official cloakrooms near all four temple towers where you can safely keep your slippers and mobile phones. This place is awesome. A lot of spiritual values with history. Located in between City. Market, shops, restaurant near by. Special Darshan can be available with 100 rs ticket for both temple inside the campus. Free darshan takes more time than usual. Now painting work is going on. And maybe it will six months atleast so now people not able to see it's beautiful architecture from outside. Mobile, Smart watch, earbuds etc not allowed inside temple. U can kept it in claok room with reasonable price less than 20rs accordingly. No special dress code required for this temple. Nearest junction is madurai and auto available easily or u can go by walk.

Best time to visit will be during 5 or 6 AM in the morning,so that you can finish darshan in less than 30mins ,it gets crowded later in the day . The people there are incredibly pure and kind-hearted. Their warmth and the way they treat visitors stood out to me—they genuinely make you feel respected and welcomed. Before entering the temple, there are a few important rules to follow. You must remove your shoes, and bags have to be deposited at the designated counters. Shoe storage is available for free at specific counters, which is very convenient. Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the temple premises, and you cannot leave your phone inside your bag. There is a special counter meant only for mobile phones, where they charge ₹5 per phone. So if you are planning to visit, it’s best to come hands-free or carry only what’s necessary so you can enter peacefully and enjoy the temple without any hassle. We just made it in time for the Kathakali show here, and I’m so glad we didn’t miss it. The makeup starts at 4:30 PM, and they do it right on stage so the audience can see the whole transformation — honestly, that itself felt like part of the show. The theatre is calm and welcoming, with devotional music and even a nice fragrance around, which made the experience feel special. Before the main performance, they explained the grammar of Kathakali — the expressions, eye movements, and hand gestures — and it was absolutely fascinating. The actual play started at 6 PM, and I was blown away — the makeup, the live instruments, the narration-singing, everything came together beautifully. You can really feel the love for culture in every detail. They also have a small shop at the back with souvenirs like oils, magnets, and antiques. Overall, it’s one of those experiences that stays with you — I’d definitely watch it again.

Fantastic experience at the Kathakali Centre. The staff are caring and committed to preserving the deep artistic heritage of Kerala, showcasing the various traditional artisans with respect and love. You see a small glimpse of performances, guaranteed to inspire you to seek out the full day long performances in the future. We watched an hour long Kathakali show, and a short demonstation of Kalari as well, both were fascinating in their own ways. I wish the centre a lot of success!! Please do visit and support the arts and culture of Kerala!

After 6 month wait, finally we could make it last week. We witnessed the Kathakali performance (including makeup) and Kalaripayatu(martial arts). Excellent performance by the artists in both shows. Good seating arrangements, light and sound. Ease of contacting and booking, courteous hosting and punctuality. Please make it day wise schedule because we wanted to watch classical dance as well but it was on a different day.

Its a must watch experience!!!! If you go early you can get a good spot near the stage where the artist do an interactive performance! All their efforts are so worth every penny. Absolutely loved it💚

It is a Must visit place in Kochi. A unique and good experience along the side of the coast. The fisherman will do a lot of fishing on the sea shore. The mechanism is quite simple yet thoughtful. A few places give a demonstration about how it's done, we got a chance to see the entire mechanism because we had joined a bigger group. Lots of variety of fishes are available of various sizes. You can also purchase along the side and get it cooked in your stay if they allow.

Great place for viewing Arabian sea. You can watch the ships entering and leaving channel. Lot of food joints in around the Bay. Fresh seafood restaurants are there

If you are looking for a sunset backed pic of the Chinese fishing nets, try to reach before 6pm (check local timing for sunset). We unfortunately reached just after sunset but luckily still got some okay pics. There are many shops where you can check out fresh catch and ask for it to be prepared right in front of you. I am sure it will be pricey but should be okay for a one time experience. There is a sunset view point a little ahead of the Chinese fishing nets which you should visit. The ferry is awesome from Marine Drive (High Court Junction) which costs just 40 bucks. AC ferry which is very well maintained

We visited tea gardens during our trip from munnar to Thekkady. Tea garden owner charged Rs. 50/- for per person visit for that. Although it's nothing in front of scenic beauty. Must visits the tea gardens. Kalari kshetra We visited the show in the evening. It's live show of traditional warriors and their war heads. We enjoyed it very much, All the warriors performances were very wonderful and Commendable. Must visit

We spent several very interesting hours watching the process to give everyone their cup of tea! Firstly there is a film which gives the background history. The set up which is a village of workers and includes hospital, Nursery, school and housing. A job for life ! The tea gardens are all around, miles and miles of small hills covered in tea. It is a very skilful job knowing which leaf to take. We went around the factory seeing the processes involved. The staff showing us fiercely proud. At the end we had a cup of tea of course and just like theme parks the obligatory shop on the way out!

The Tea Museum in Munnar offers a nice overview of the region’s tea history, with vintage machines, old photographs, and a short processing demo. The live tea-making session and tasting were the most engaging parts. That said, the video presentation felt a bit outdated, and the overall experience was more educational than exciting. A former Tata group owned factory/museum dedicated to rich history of beginning of tea plantation era and story of bringing eucalyptus tree in the Munnar valley. Located within 10 km radius of munnar city. Must visit place if you want to know about the history of tea plantation, settlement of Tamil people in Malayalam speaking state. The stuff of bygone era beautifully preserved. Also one can witness making of ctc tea from raw tea leaves excellently demonstrated and told. Also came to know about difference of white leaves, first flush etc. Truly knowledgeable journey. There is shop also adjacent the tea factory where one can purchase tea at reasonable price of his choice.

Its location is beautiful as it is situated in the valley of tea plantation but I was not too impressed with their management. First the tickets can only be bought by cash was a bit of a hassles for us. Inside it was crowded and we were rushed in all the rooms where antiques were, later a huge crowd were given the demo which was a bit difficult to follow from distance among the crowd. I would recommend to find other private tours which we did later and it was a short group and more detailed one.

It's about 1 hour to reach there on foot from the Munnar town market like me in a muddy and gloomy rainy day, but could have been a way shorter time if it was a good sunny weather! On the way, there were only private tour cars and 🛺 auto rickshaws, which threw water splash all over me unfortunately, which i believe they didn't mean, but it was what it was. All my clothes and shoes were soaking wet reaching there and back to my hotel in the town on foot since I was already soaked. One good side is not about the tes museum, the tea plantation along was gorgeous and enjoyed breaking some time to capture the moments! The tea museum is quite small in size and just ok for one time visit, nothing special! There is a equally as big as a gift shop right next to it. One mystery thing is that I couldn't locate any toilet facility in there where i was hoping to clean up my muddy shoes, perhaps I couldn't find one.

The water body is well maintained, pollution free. there are different varieties of boat rides. Speed boat gives an awesome adventurous feel, a must try. If you lucky can see elephants and bison come to the dam territory to drink water. good place to enjoy and have fun. Tickets can be booked online which is preferable rather than buying tickets over the counter which leads to wait time.

It’s a nice scenic place with a beautiful dam surrounded by greenery. The water looks clean, and you can even enjoy boating here it costs around ₹400 for 30 minutes. There’s also horse riding available, and you can get your photos clicked with a professional camera for about ₹100 per big photo. Apart from that, there are small shops, street food stalls, and a few local items to explore. Overall, it’s a good place for a one-time visit and to spend a relaxed day outdoors.

Construction of this concrete dam commenced in 1949, just a few years following India's independence. Mattupetty Dam was completed and opened to the public in 1953, within a span of five years. A visit to Mattupetty Dam presents breathtaking views of a serene lake, enveloped by verdant landscapes and mist-shrouded hills. The peaceful ambiance makes it an ideal location for relaxation and immersion in nature. This area is a paradise for nature enthusiasts, offering opportunities for boating and other water-based activities. Pedal boats, speedboats, and rowboats are available, providing an enjoyable experience for families, couples, friends, and adventure seekers alike. However, the heavy traffic in and around the dam can be a source of inconvenience. The area can become quite congested, often resulting in traffic delays. The presence of large buses navigating the single-lane road across the dam can contribute to traffic congestion, particularly during peak seasons. Nevertheless, by venturing a short distance away from the crowded areas, one can discover a peaceful atmosphere, escaping the chaos and fully appreciating the dam's scenic beauty.

Dam not big in size with free entry and small market for shopping, completed in 1953 for hydroelectricity purposes, is set amid lush mountains and dense foliage of eucalyptus trees. If you're lucky, you can see different wildlife species at Mattupetty Dam such as elephants, bison, deer and birds. You can also visit the nearby Eravikulam National Park or Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary for more wildlife spotting opportunities.

The dam itself has a narrow road with two way movement of vehicles and tourists + those visiting passing through. The parking lot is prone to puddles of water with light rain. The reservoir (lake) is picturesque, particularly when the mist is descending. There's boating for those who are interested. Is it a must-see? Perhaps a bit underwhelming for many, but you need to pass this place to visit Echo Point and other attractions further away.

Good for clicking pictures. Goodviewpointt. Boating present at the dam. We could not go inside due to traffic jams and the place was too crowded. We had a lot of time constraints, too. You can enjoy the view along the bridge. The lake is surrounded by tall trees.

One among the finest beaches nearby Kochi (Cochin). The sandy beach and great sunset views would give you memorable moments. There are foods and souvenirs available here but there is a good scope for improvement.

What didn’t work well: Parking charged at around ₹30/hour without designated slots or secure fencing. I had to park in mud and struggled to exit—a guard set the fee, but no proper system or shelter. The beach area is tight and congested, especially during evenings. Space to walk, sit, or play is limited. The shoreline has noticeably narrowed—sea erosion seems to have taken over the sand, reducing usable area. Waste and debris are common, especially after high tides. There’s no visible cleaning schedule or waste management system. Few signboards or markers to guide visitors on safe zones, entry points, or amenities. Numerous resorts and restaurants line the edge, but prices are high, making the experience feel more commercial than relaxing. Safety feels uneven—lifeguards are present only at the main beach, leaving parts of the shore less monitored. The narrow access roads are often crowded or uneven, making approach and exit difficult. Positive aspects to highlight: The location is scenic—where backwaters meet the sea; gentle tides often make it suitable for dolphin spotting. Early mornings and off-peak hours offer calm, peaceful views and a quieter stretch to enjoy. A few local vendors sell light bites such as fried banana or chilli—simple and tasty. Suggestions for improvement: Create organized, secure parking with shade or paved surfaces—and consider validating or waiving fees for visitors. Increase frequency of beach cleaning crews and establish designated waste bins to manage both tidal and on-site debris. Install clear signage and maps to guide visitors to access points, seating areas, restrooms, safety zones, and lifeguard-watched areas. Expand the beach footprint or undertake erosion control measures to restore walking and leisure space. Offer affordable lounge spaces or shaded seating for families and groups, separate from high-cost resorts. This lake is situated at a very high level from the sea. The climate is almost cool. We can enjoy it there by cycling, horse riding,pedestal boat services and beautiful flower gardens near this lake

I visited this lake and really liked the atmosphere. Boating and cycling were enjoyable, though it was quite crowded during the day. There’s also a market around the lake with souvenirs, food, and local chocolates. But for me, the best part was at night — the place becomes almost empty, and that’s when you can truly enjoy the cool breeze and the beauty of nature.

You can have tea or icecreams. Then on the right side there is a way to the view from the bottom of waterfalls. The way is somewhat adventurous. It will be difficult for people with joint issues. You have to walk down the road. The way to top is wheelchair accessible.

I recently visited the famous Brihadeeswarar Temple (Big Temple) in Thanjavur, and it was a truly memorable experience. The temple, built over 1,000 years ago by Raja Raja Chola I, is an outstanding example of ancient Tamil architecture and craftsmanship. The massive Nandi statue at the entrance immediately caught my attention — carved from a single stone, it is one of the largest and most beautifully detailed Nandis in India. The main temple tower (vimana) is also breathtaking, rising high with intricate carvings that tell stories from history and mythology. My visit to Brihadeeswara Temple in Thanjavur was an experience I’ll never forget. The moment I saw the towering vimana from a distance, I was completely awestruck. Standing in front of this thousand-year-old marvel, it’s hard not to feel amazed at what people achieved so many centuries ago without any modern technology. The temple is massive yet perfectly balanced, and every single carving tells a story from our history and faith. As I walked through the courtyard, I could feel the spiritual energy in the air. The stone floor, warm under the sun, seemed to carry centuries of prayers and footsteps. Despite the crowd, there was a calmness that made me want to stay longer. The Nandi statue, carved from a single stone, is unbelievably beautiful, and the details on the walls are so intricate that you can spend hours just admiring them. The temple is also very well maintained, with clean surroundings and helpful guides who share the fascinating history of Raja Raja Chola and the temple’s construction. Visiting at sunset made the place look even more divine — the golden light on the stones was simply magical. Brihadeeswara Temple isn’t just a monument; it’s a living piece of history and devotion. A must-visit for everyone who loves art, culture, and peace.

One of the most majestic and peaceful temples I’ve ever visited! The Brihadeeshwara Temple truly lives up to its name - grand, serene, and full of history. The Chola architecture is breathtaking, with intricate carvings and an atmosphere that feels timeless. I visited in the afternoon and stayed till evening. During the afternoon, the whole temple complex felt calm and soothing - I even took a short nap under the shade in the temple for a few hours and it was so relaxing. Later in the evening, when the temple lights came on, the entire structure glowed beautifully against the twilight sky. It was truly magical - the perfect blend of spirituality and artistry. A must-visit if you’re in or around Thanjavur. Make sure to stay till evening to see the temple illuminated - it’s an experience you’ll never forget. Auto easily available from bus stand and railway station also at cheaper price. Visit Thanjavur palace after this if u have sufficient time(only one hour is sufficient.) Two hour sufficient for temple darshan and photoshoot.

It was quite crowded, with special prayers going on, but the atmosphere was very peaceful and filled with devotion. Such a worthy visit. Best temple to visit if you love ancient architecture. Best time to visit will be early in the morning and early in the evening before the temple closes, to avoid crowd. I was not able to get a Darshan because of the long que, even though it was disappointing, the exploration into the architecture made me compensate.

Well, big land converted to a religious place having Lor Shiva's statue 🙏 but other than the statue, it is just a place where you can enjoy some food, have shower, and see bullock cart. Lastly a Dome, also called Dhyanlinga where you can sit and meditate. It can also be done at home for people who don't know. Try this, go back home and close your eyes, empty your mind and call upon whoever you worship. God is within you. They have SAVE SOIL slogan and they love animals. There is bullock cart in 50° degrees carrying passengers from one place to the other. I mean we have battery cars and golf cars but they love animals and want them to know that they are loved deeply. Lets make these poor animals carry 9 people at once under the 50° degree sun. Touche! Tradition can be supported with technology too, we don't need to harm animals this way. We could barely walk in the sun and these poor animals were carrying so many people. God forgive these people who are doing this to animals 🙏 BATH FACILITY - We had shower in the morning so we didn't go shower here. I mean it's not elixir otherwise we would have definitely. DHYANLINGA - the road (walk only) leads to dhyanlinga but when its nearly 50° degrees, it makes it difficult to walk barefoot on the UNEVEN and hot surface. They could have put Carpet on the foor covering uneven surface but i guess they were short of funds and also they wanted you to feel the culture. You are going to feel that culture the next day too when your feet hurts. There were old people walking slowly and some of them were pouring water on the floor to walk on that hot surface. It was 3PM and Carpet is a must for people who aren't used to walking on the uneven hot surface. Finally when you reach dhyanlinga, they will force you to sit inside dome and meditate. We recently had an accident and couldn't sit on floot so they forced us to sit on the chair. We didn't want to be rude so we sat for 2 minutes. There was a small baby crying very softly and these CARETAKERS asked the lady to get out pointing finger as if she made a huge mistake. If they can't respect humanity, what good will come of anything they practice in life. We saw that and immediately stood up. 2 of them tried blocking our way. Well, just to be clear, We bow to God only and there was no God here. We are not slaves they need to get this to their heads. We left instantly without responding to them. By the way, the best feeling was when we bought 3 packets of biscuits and made the dog eat. He was very happy and kept coming back to give his love. That was the only good feeling we got. We made sure the dog wasn't hungry anymore and then left back for the hotel. Canteens are everywhere so don't worry if you miss one. There are more on the way. Also phones were not allowed but we noticed some of them carrying it quietly with them. The deposit box is safe. They take your photo and phone number. So nothing to worry about.

There may be a traffic near view point on week end we have to wait near 15 mins, but after that we can see the full beauty of the ooty view. We can cover almost full of the area from here. Stunning view is there try to be visit on sunny day otherwise mist may hide the view. Entry fee will be collected at the entry for vehicle and we have to pay 20 rs per head we can pay through UPI also. Many shops available there we can purchase small things. Restroom available here.

This peak offers a complete view of valley.There are snack outlets and even a having parlour.The entry ticket is 10₹. One can even buy sweaters and shawl and even hats. One weekends the place becomes highly crowded

This is a really good view spot in Ooty and a must visit, it is the tallest point in the Nilgiris. The experience was decent, first you are supposed to buy a ticket, but before you get in line for the ticket, you have to enter the market, which had clothes and souvenirs. There are may cameramen present there who will click and print photos on the spot. There is also a watchtower, which you can climb up to get a better view from the Peak. The road leading up to this peak is also scenic, with tall trees.

Afternoon safari 2.30 pm trip. In matter of 1 & half hrs we got to see the wilderness of Bandipur... Kind of okay...got to see spotted deers, langurs, elephants.... Was hoping for better experience... anyway let's see...

It’s a scam, they charge so much and in return they don’t even take us properly inside forest. Other than elephant and deer you cant spot anything. Don’t waste your time. After changing so much for safari you even need to pay 60rs for parking

Bandipur Tiger Reserve forest is a lush green thick forest shutter to numerous number of birds and animals. This road leads to Ooty, Tamil Nadu. This natural forest is a treat to watch. WE spotted lot of Deers. If you are lucky you can see Elephants, Peacocks, Tigers also. This forest is a land of lot of tigers. If you want a rich wild life experience Bandipur Tiger Reserve is a perfect getaway. Monsoon Season will be the best time to visit.

Pls pick camper or gypsy don't go for bus safari , they won't take you many places , the moment the bus starts from ticker counter that timings starts which does not make any sense , from ticket counter to safari road it will take 30 mins , so in ( Bus safari )90 mins 30 mins is wasted , better choose to camper or gypsy , mainly to spot tiger you need a sheer luck but however even they wont put any efforts on that.

Better you buy tickets online so you will have separate counter for buying tickets even if you buy online you need to get that from counter with vehicle number and seat number try to reach there 35-40 minutes before

It's a fantastic adventure spot that's definitely a must-try for thrill-seekers and nature lovers alike!

My friend and i did the high rope and ATV, high rope was so adventurous . Staffs were guiding us through the entire task with encouragement. Would suggest this place to anyone visiting yercaud to give a try. Be sure to call up before going.

Defenetly not a choice if you are looking for more games, they have only very less games but more down in their website. The guy sitting in the reception billing section dint have patience to explain , he hardly responds.. The property is good, but only zip line game is kind of ok. Each game is being charged from Rs.400 to Rs.500

Very beautiful temple with huge campus area. Temple is surrounded by trees. Place is very clean and clam. Mobiles are not allowed inside. There are specific slots for free darshan. Otherwise need to pay for darshan. I took Rs. 300 Darshan, in that they will allow to sit in front of God for sometime also they gave Prasad. Restaurant, Parking, Accomodation facilities are available.

Visited the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple with family on a weekend 01.11.2025(Saturday) around 07:20 AM... We opted ticket for the INR 50 per person darshan. There was a short waiting time of about 20-30 minutes as the Aarti was in progress, but it was well managed. The darshan experience was smooth, with no crowd pushing or chaos, something that made the visit even more peaceful. Feeling truly blessed. 🙏 Only one disappointed. Proper Car parking is not available. Official temple parking should be allocated some space.🚗 Many parking lots collecting whatever they wish to charge. Anywhere in any street some person will come and give you Parking token. At the time of my visit in above mentioned date, a person in scooty token and charged rupees 70 for car.

Visited Tirupati after many years with a lot of excitement, but the experience turned out very disappointing 👎👎 Even with reserved tickets, we had to wait more than 7 hours and got barely 5 seconds for darshan. It feels unfair for devotees who patiently wait for so long. A few issues we faced: • Plastic was everywhere despite “No Plastic” rules. • Dress code was not followed by many. • Food quality and hygiene were very poor - even simple canteens outside serve better. • Washrooms were untidy. • No proper guidance to reach allotted cottages. • Cottage/cleaning staff kept asking for money during checkout. The worst part was returning to our cottage after darshan and finding officials cutting trees and damaging the building area. The stairs became unsafe to use, and the staff showed no concern when we questioned it. Overall, what we hoped would be a memorable spiritual visit turned into a stressful experience. Truly disappointed, and I personally wouldn’t recommend visiting under such conditions.

Sri Anantha Alwar is one of the only two bhaktas who could tie up the bhagawan Srikrishna Himself. Sri Yashoda is the other one. Sri Anantha Alwar's single minded bhakti is such that the God granted him the opportunity to raise a flower garden, weave garlands and offer to the God!! Even today, the garden is lively. Inside we can Sri Ramanuja pushkarani, the watertank that supplied water to the garden. Incidentally, Tirumala is known as pushpa Mandapam and Sri Anantha Alwar's garden upholds the name. Walk to the end of South mada Street two see the divine garden.

Amazing place for movie maniac as a persona can actually visit the the seta where the movies were shot. Blockbusters like Bahubali and Chennai Express and many more were shot over there. The Eco tour has a bird & butterfly park. It even has multiple fine dine restaurant and street food kiosks. All in all a great place to spend with family and friends for the entire day

Ramoji Film City is a Good place to visit with so much to explore and enjoy. The Eureka zone, Baahubali set, Japanese Garden, Hawa Mahal, European Streets, and Evening Parks are some of the best attractions to experience. It’s perfect for a full-day outing with family and kids. Though outside food isn’t allowed, water bottles and snacks inside are reasonably priced. However we had to wait around 30 minutes for food after 2 PM at the Baahubali set, so the food service could be improved. Management can review about the pricing - it feels slightly high, especially since lunch isn’t included in the package.

Visiting Ramoji Film City with my friends was absolutely epic and fully justifies its fantastic reputation. They have 2 package option AC/ Non-AC. Only difference in AC package it has buffet lunch included, and non-ac doesn't have dinner option one must pay for their own food. It is an full day activity so plan accordingly. We hit all the highlights, and the energy we got from the sheer number of things to do made the whole day fly by—we give the experience a huge thumbs up! The core of the day was the Studio Tour, which was far more impressive than just seeing static sets. Seeing the intricate details on the iconic streets, the massive temple facades, and the beautiful Indian and Japanese Gardens made for incredible photo opportunities for our group. The undeniable highlight of this section was the Bahubali Set. Walking through the gigantic Mahishmati kingdom was surreal; we spent ages exploring the throne room, the massive bells, and the various props, totally losing ourselves in the grandeur of that fictional world. For the adrenaline junkies in our group, the side trip to Sahas Adventure Land was a must. Tackling the ATV track was a blast—it was the perfect way to burn off some energy and enjoy some real speed and dirt-kicking fun, moving from the fantasy sets to a real-life action sequence. We made sure to catch a Live Show, which was the perfect moment to sit down and be entertained. The vibrant choreography and the stunt work were fantastic, adding that extra layer of cinematic excitement. And since we were there during the festival, the Carnival atmosphere topped everything off! The colorful parades, extended timings, and general festive buzz added so much energy and color to the end of our trip. Finally, the Bird Park and Butterfly Park were surprisingly beautiful and provided a wonderful, peaceful contrast to the high-energy sets and adventure sports. It was a serene way to wrap up the sightseeing before heading home. A quick tip for groups: The park is huge, so divide your time wisely! Start with the sets and adventure, and don't forget comfortable shoes. Ramoji is definitely a trip worth taking with your best friends—it’s non-stop fun from the moment you step off the bus!

I visited Golconda Fort , and it was a really good experience! It’s definitely one of the best historical places to visit in Hyderabad. The entry ticket costs just ₹25 per person, and there was no waiting time at all, which was great. The fort is huge, and as you climb up, you’ll come across Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas — both are beautiful spots that give you a glimpse into the royal architecture of the past. I got the chance to visit on a Saturday while in town for work and had a great time. The grounds are large and sprawling, and we easily spent about 2-3 hours exploring here. We arrived just before 11AM, and was not too crowded despite being a popular destination amongst tourists and locals alike. It definitely started ramping up as we were leaving, so it seems like morning hours may be the most peaceful. We chose not to hire one of the tour guides near the entrance and just explored on our own. I found the passageways and arches to be simultaneously maze-like and stunning. Although many parts of the fortress were in disrepair, it was exciting to imagine what daily life was like within these walls. While wandering around, I could visualize the ghosts of past millennia as their footsteps echoed through the magnificent stone walls and structures. After climbing to the top of the fort, we enjoyed the panoramic views of the city while dwelling in the strong, cool breeze, wicking away our sweat from the sunny day. People were genuinely curious to chat and take pictures together, and overall it was a very welcoming experience.

It’s crazy how they completely built it with marble. It looks stunning. Due to the marble, it feels colder inside and when you are roaming around. The view from there is also nice as you can see the whole Hyderabad city. You can also see the Buddha statue, Sagar Lake, etc. If you like architecture, definitely worth visiting

Beautiful temple with peaceful atmosphere and great city view! We visited Birla Mandir on a Saturday — it wasn’t very crowded, and we could enjoy the full view of Hyderabad from the top. The temple is truly beautiful and peaceful. We took an auto from the main road below; it cost ₹80, but the driver dropped us only near the gate, not up to the parking area. Phone keeping, footwear keeping, and bag keeping are all free, but when collecting our footwear, the person there asked for some money. Some renovation work was going on during our visit. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness of the toilets — much better than most public places in India! Photography and cameras are not allowed inside the temple. To reach the gate, you have to walk up a small road lined with shops from the main road below — it’s only about 200 to 250 meters, so it’s an easy walk even if you don’t have a vehicle. Overall, a must-visit place in Hyderabad for peace, spirituality, and a stunning city view.

The whole temple is carved out beside a rocky mountain completely made of white marble. It's a must visit when visiting Hyderabad.
