It is better to purchase the VIP tickets online which opens 7 days before. It is being sold out immediately. Better to purchase at 12.01 am 7 days before. It costs Rs.500 per head. If you go by 7 am, you can come out in 2 hours after Darshan. Tuesdays and Saturdays, there will be huge rush. The temple is maintained privately, I believe. The most powerful Shakthi Peet. Must visit at least once.

Visiting Maa Kamakhya was a journey of spiritual awakening. Nestled in Simanchal Hills in Assam it is one of the important shakipeeths. You can either get general ticket which is a bit costly or you can get VIP tickets which are available at ₹501. You can get VIP tickets online as well but you have to book it in advance at least a week ago as they sell very fast. The worship items are sold at shops located outside the temple and you can also keep your shoes here. It took us 13 hours to worship Maa Kamakhya but it was totally worth it.

Its a very beautiful monastery. Very quiet and silent place for worshiping Lord Gautam Buddha. It has training and a learning center for studies on buddhism . Students from the age of 5 and above are allowed to take admission here and training.

This monastery located on the upper reaches of Bomdila is also known as Gentse Gaden Rabgyel Lling Monastery. It was built in 1965 by the 12th reincarnate of Tsona Gontse Rinpoche. Found the monastery to be very vibrant and active as it houses a large number of boys and young men who are being imparted training to become lamas. As this monastery is located on an elevated area, it offers an aerial view of Bomdila.

On the way back to Guwahati from Tawang, we decided to stay at Bomdila due low visibility on road. In the morning, we made a small detour to Bomdilla Monastery. Some festivals/ prayers were going on at the morning (8.30 AM). The students there offered us a local tibetan sweet delicacy made out of pasta and yak cheese. Then they offered us salty tea with yak milk. The experience was surreal.

Guide was very nice and helpful.

Serene, clean and quiet. 1 hour drive from Shillong. This is the only one open to tourists out of several other sacred forests through out Meghalaya. A local community group manages the tourist visits. An entry fee (for each person and car extra) with guide fee is charged. The guides are actually local boys who take a group for a half n hour trail. The ground in front of the forest is do clean that it looks like outside India.

This is just outside shillong city, not so far. A sacred place for the local Khasi community. The place is dedicated to their god Labasa...they used to seek permission for hunting through animal sacrifice for Labasa. The walking trail is really beautiful.... someone have to take a guide to enter to the forest area, the guide will describe about the khasi traditions, history and the monoliths situated inside the forest. There are full and half trek options. The place is very serene and quiet. Someone must not take anything outside the forest, whether its leaves or stones or rudraksh or flowers.

How to reach - You can hire a taxi or a rented 2 wheeler to reach. We went on Sunday and got mix response from locals regarding shared taxi/sumo. So better don't hope for it. Renting two wheeler is a better option if you are experienced rider. Average renting starts nearly 800 for a scooty. Bargaining is based in your skills. Good view and peaceful, better you take food and have a quality time there. Entry is 30rs per person, 350rs guide (half trek) mandatory, parking for 2 wheeler is 20rs. The half trekking is almost 30-40 mins total in and out. Nothing allowed to take out. Rudraksh can be bought at the counter or better say from the guides help desk. At the end they ask to donate some money voluntarily but if you don't want to be asked to so better don't go to them 😜. Rest the guide will tell you about sacred forest. Nothing exciting but can be visited if you have time.

The falls are named after a rock that once resembled an elephant, though it was destroyed in an earthquake many years ago. Visitors can descend through well-built steps that lead to three different levels of the falls — each offering its own unique view and charm. The lowest tier is the most picturesque, where the water gushes down dramatically, making it a favorite spot for photos. The area is well-maintained, with proper walkways, railings, and small shops near the entrance selling local crafts and snacks. The place is on the way to Mawphlang Sacred Forest. Approx 18km from Shillong. Its a nice spot. What all we can see and do 1. Entry fee - 100 per adult 2. 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler can be taken. 3. Refreshment and some locally made products can be bought from the shops at the entrance. 4. Three stage waterfalls is there. First is at the same level while for others you have to go down through stairs. 5. Garden on the other side of stage three water fall. 6. Bathing and Swimming is not at all allowed. 7. Average crowding.

Simple, accessible, but not a very “natural” waterfall experience Elephant Falls is one of the easiest tourist spots to visit in Shillong. The waterfall has three levels, but honestly, it doesn’t fully feel like a natural, untouched waterfall because of the heavy tourist infrastructure around it. Still, it’s pleasant and good for quick sightseeing. What to know: 1. It doesn’t look like a raw natural falls — more like a landscaped tourist spot. 2. It can be crowded at times, especially on weekends. 3. Toilets are available right before the entrance, which is convenient. 4. Tickets are minimal, good for budget travellers. 5. The steps are easy, well-maintained, and not tiring at all — suitable for all age groups.

This is a must go destination while travelling in Shillong. The local Khasi name of the falls is Ka Kshaid Lai, which literally means waterfalls with three stages. You can not see all three stages together but you have to go down through stairs to visit each stage ......all three stages are very beautiful. The largest one is the third and lowest stage. This area also have plenty of parking and good food options. Also good for buying souvenirs.

Elephant Falls is an okay-type waterfall - not particularly impressive compared to many others. I've seen far more beautiful waterfalls in Sikkim, and most of them don't even charge a visiting fee. Here, they take ₹100 per person just to enter, which feels unreasonable for what the place offers. On top of that, you need to pay for parking even if you leave your motorcycle on the roadside. Overall, the experience felt more like a money-making setup than a genuine tourist attraction.

Indeed an elephant, This elephant falls has 3 falls, first at the top, then the mid- layer and then you land to the bottom. You need to trek for 15-20mins, the stairs are proper so won't be a difficult trek, it would be total of 150-200 steps. If you plan to visit elephant falls, please wear proper shoe as sandals might slip, rest everything is perfect 🙂

Your entry to Meghalaya when you drive into Shillong from Guwahati. It is a sports complex which has been developer around a man made lake fed by rainwater. Plenty of parking, great views, decent washrooms and the speed boat experience was excellent and felt safe as well. Charging an entry fee seems excessive if a person is boating then perhaps it could be refunded( because it is quite high 50 pp, while boating is 200). Lovely clean air and clear skies make a very good experience.

Borapani Lake, also known as Umiam Lake, is an amazing place is located just about 15 km before reaching Shillong from Guwahati, Assam. The hilly place is very nice.

Once part of the state of Assam, this man made lake was included into Meghalaya when 3 southern districts of Assam were made part of the newly formed state. A place of unparalleled natural beauty and bio-diversity. MTDC has built a resort "Orchid Lake resort" on the banks.

Water is pretty. Boating was quite expensive. The boat guy did not behaved well tho, we asked him to slow down a bit cuz the boat was literally jumping and we couldn’t balance well. He did not respond , it was like he was pretty annoyed from the start. He did not slow down and when we asked him to slow down the second time he replied ‘its like this only’. It was only one round for 8min after paying 600 for 3 people. There is no good eatery inside. I’d give my experience 7.5/10.

Before reaching the lake entrance, there’s a lovely little viewpoint worth stopping for. You’ll find some fast food stalls there too - nothing fancy, but great for a quick bite with a view. Whether you’re into photography, nature, or just a bit of soul-soothing stillness, Umiam Lake is a must. A gentle reminder of how spectacular simplicity can be.

Don Bosco museum offers many displays. It's multi floor building. It's a lot of knowledge and great collection of North East heritage. Most recommended place to visit in shillong. Entry fee to museum 100 /- for adults, 50/- for children upto 5th STD. Camera fee 100. There are 7 floors and last floor has sky walk. Amazing experience.

My wife and I visited the museum in Oct 2025. At first we were really concerned how we would be able to climb th 7 storeys but soon after entering a staff member kindly directed us to a lift that took us to the top sky walk and we could enjoy all floors (a MUST visit) strolling down. A men's or Ladies toilet on every single floor makes it Senior friendly. The collection is a comprehensive and superb one. We came back knowing a lot about all 7 North East (sister) States! Highly recommend a visit.

This is a must visit in Shillong with a ticket cost of just 20 rupees per head, I highly recommend to explore this place in order to understand the cultures and heritage of all the North Eastern States We went there with minimal knowledge and we got to experience most of the cultures. Also would recommend taking an option to click pictures. It’ll help you in making memories We took many pictures and had really fun at the view point as well. Spare at-least 2-3 hrs It’s air conditioned and well maintained, The staff is friendly too and there’s a store with lot of options to buy from.

It's a well maintained museum and the skywalk gives a vast panoramic view of the Shillong town. It's a must visit if you're in Shillong. The ticket is cheap with extra charges for mobiles and cameras. The museum beautifully showcases the rich cultural heritage of the Seven Sister states and one brother Sikkim. Each floor is dedicated to different aspects of tribal life, their belongings and how they manage their livelihood. One can understand the difference between the cultures of the seven states in a very lucid way.

It is a historical place from which the name of the city “Tezpur” derived. It is said that this is place where the daughter of King Banasura was kept isolated. Later the war between Lord Krishna and Lord Shiva took place, which led the name of the place. Anirudha, the grandson of Lord Krishna was being attracted by the Prince Usha, got married later. King Banasura (who was the devotee of Lord Shiva) arrested him on hearing this news. It led the war between Banasura and Krishna. However being the devotee of Shiva, Lord Shiva came to rescue and it was place of blood when the war had started between Lord Shiva and Lord Krishna. Lord Vishnu came to end this war later. The entry fee is Rs 30 for adults and Rs 10 for minors. However, there is no maintenance, no proper description neither clean properly. The authority should take action to keep the sentiments and mythological beliefs intact. It has a watch tower from where the city and the surroundings, including majestic view of River Bramhaputra can be seen. But still need proper maintenance!

An absolutely wonderful experience! Kaziranga National Orchid and Biodiversity Park has the largest collection of orchid varieties in the world, and it’s truly mesmerizing to see. The instructors were extremely passionate and explained each variety with great clarity, you can really feel their love for what they do. All the staff were polite, friendly, and deeply committed to their work. We also got to watch some of the local Assamese dance performances they were preparing, which were amazing! The park itself is rich in flora, and the environment feels so alive. Don’t miss trying the traditional Assamese thali at the park, it was spectacular, with at least 16 delicious items. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kaziranga ,a must-visit spot that beautifully showcases Assam’s natural and cultural heritage.

Don't skip this on your way to the Kaziranga safari adventure. It only takes a few hours on your way to the park, and it is a good cultural experience of the people in the region, and the orchid garden is quite lovely. You will see so many variants of native and non-native orchids, and learn how they grow and thrive. There are a few other agricultural and cultural displays (traditional dancing, rice/miller education etc) you can see as well.

Lovely place, one must visit to see variety of orchids, medicinal plants, bamboo plants, museum along with cultural activities continuously going on. Staff is well versed and explains the details of each activity which includes uses of different plants and how orchids grow. Variety of food is also available.

A beautiful Orchid largest in India. Very rare orchids, dance programs, bamboo garden, so many attractions. Worth seeing.

One of the few things you can do apart from safariy it is a really cool place with a lot to do, we think 3 hours should be enough, we went to see the orchids, amazing musical instruments museum, cactus greenhouse, some medicinal herbs selling point we didn't have time for, a really nice bamboo park, a restaurant. They perform dances on stage, I think they do it all day round, we came there just after the morning safari and saw it at least twice, so it's hard to miss it.

Do visit the upper temple area first before going towards the areas of the three pagodas. You can't enter them but they are really visually quite aesthetically pleasing. Budget about 2-3 hours.

Site very unique in Dali, the 3 Pagodas are really a testimony of the Buddhist past of the City. They are the only ancient monuments of the site, dating back to the 9th century and surviving the earthquakes of the region. The other buildings/temples have been rebuilt/ realized by the government.

The Three Pagoda is located at north west of Dali Ancient Town. After visiting ancient town, can take 3 wheels scooter from ancient town to Three Pagoda, fare is about RMB15 and journey is less than 20mins. The Three Pagoda compound is very big and spacious. Walking up from main entrance to last building in a row will took about 2 to 3 hrs. Recommend to visit Three Pagoda whenever comes to Dali.

Wry peaceful place to see all 3 Pagodas (40m and 70m). Very nice garden area. Large Pagoda from Tang Dinasty 9th century and the small pagodas from early 14th century.

The entrance fee of 75 RMB is a bit steep to see the 3 pagodas. There are also a number of Chinese temples to visit. It can be quite sunny so remember to wear a hat and covered clothing.

A stunning succession of multiple gorgeous temples that only starts with the three pagodas, just keep on going up the hill. Can easily spend a whole day exploring. There’s a Buddhist vegan (蔡) restaurant on the premises to keep you fed whilst doing that. Free entrance for foreigners.

Beautiful lake with mountains in the backdrop. There is an ecological corridor along the lake where you can walk/run/cycle, motorised vehicles are mostly prohibited. Good place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.

Taken on 21 Oct 2025. Temp about 15-23 degree. Cloudy and occasional rain. The scenic was amazing, very tranquil and clean. Many people rented buggies or bicycles to travel around the lake. We stayed at the west side of erhai lake, loved our room so much!

Erhai Lake. Very beautiful lake. Against the winter blue sky, the view is just like in New zealands lake. U can spend few hours here if u decide to rent bike and circle the lake. Otherwise less 1 hour is enough for photo taking and appreciating the nature. Caution : Public toilets here have NO DOORS . So do settle ur business before or after going here

Erhai Lake is the second largest freshwater lake in Yunnan Province. Erhai is shaped as an ear is a plateau lake and near to Cangshan Mountains. Other than the lake, there is an old town located on the west shore and Wase Village on the east shore.

Lovely lake. Took a full day to go around with a guide/driver - stopped at a few towns and points of interest. Some spots were rather touristy - a rather curated experience. Would have preferred to be able to explore at our own pace with independence to go off the beaten track.

The lakeshore can be explored by hiking. Highlights include Erhai Park and the Butterfly Springs on the Western bank. Islands on the lake – including Guanyin Ge, Jinsuo Island (金梭岛; 'Golden Shuttle Island'), Nanzhao Folklore Island (南诏风情岛) and Xiaoputuo Island (小普陀) – are also available for visits. The lake is an important food source for the local people (Bais), who are famous for their fishing method: their trained cormorants catch fish and return them to fishmongers. The birds are prevented from swallowing their fish by rings fixed around their neck.

Slightly disappointing. Just the same trashy overpriced souvenirs and pushy sellers. The surrounding streets are actually more beautiful and more interesting than the so-called "famous" Foreigner Street.

Until 2000 had this street been the Centers of Hippies. Today is it a nice Touristic place with more than 100 Shops and Restaurants. Extremly nice also in the evening. It’s a very nice and Peaceful Shopping area.

There is no foreigners at Foreigners Street. In fact, all the action now concentrated at Red Dragon Well and the adjacent Dragon Well Stream Lane Walking Street and over there is much picturesque. The Foreigners Street has the East and West sections. If you see the mountains, that is the west. Activities are more towards that section up too Po Ai Road.

The city was beautiful but really crowded at night. The 同质化/homogenisation of shops targeted at tourists was really serious and this place felt increasingly commercialized. You feel such a sense of deja Vu every 100 meters, and of course the loudspeakers blaring do not help.

I really enjoyed my visit here. The effort out into making this a tourist friendly location is pretty incredible. I went during golden week and it was BUSY lol very beautiful architecture all around and so much delicious food

A small ancient city in Dali. Worth to have a walk, do some souvenir shopping. There are many foods stalls, as well as cloths stalls. Coffee and tea lover can buy some stock here. Just, the toilet are not in good condition. It is open for public, but not well maintain. So, finish up your private business before come here

The Dali Ancient Town is almost same as Lijiang Ancient Town. All the buildings and architectures are very unique. The walking ways are wider compared to that of Lijiang.

It is a large city and so many things to see. Ascend to top of the gate to have a beautiful view.

It's a great day hike to see the beauty of the area. Lots of high incline steps, so not recommended for people with movement issues. The only reason I have it a 4 instead of a 5 is I go on these hikes to enjoy nature and the silence of the trees and occasional bird. Thie descent was littered with poles of loudspeakers telling me the rules and fines if I didn't comply. Signs would be just as effective and not nearly as annoying.

RMB 6 for train from 五一station Bought the entrance ticket at information center. Bus ride, cable car ride, electrical car ride, walk and cable car ride back to town in the cultural village. Not a normal tourist spot but we had a great time for 6 hours

Nice view of the city but there's a lot of walking involved, You are going to spend a few hours for this place whether you like it or not, its all across the hill. Lots of shops and temples on different levels. Perfectly nice place to spend a day of you weekend.

Just passing by on our way for having lunch close to the area. We had homemade hand pulled noodles. It was so delicious and it's good to warm your body in this cold weather.

Not quite the Skansen it purports to be, this place, however, has enough redeeming qualities for a half-a-day visit. It’s also much smaller than it claims to be to its perfectly walkable.

Entrance ticket 90¥ if you want to watch the dance and performance you must buy ticket all in 190¥ and it’s not worth it. Because inside the ethnic area just showed up all the traditional house of all ethnic in Yunnan.

An incredible park. It's amazing to see such a thriving ecosystem in the middle of a modern city like Kunming. The amount of flowers and trees blooming in spring is incredible. There is over 100 species of birds living in this park, including some exotic ones. I didn't see many types but I suspect in the morning it would be easier. One of my favourite places in Kunming, really enjoyed it.

Very Nice spot on Ile in the Green lake. surrounded by very nice ponds. The park had been established in the early 1900 alongside the Military Academy.

A park that feels alive — not with rollercoasters, but with retirees, lovers, and ducks who clearly run the place. Everywhere you look, someone’s stretching, strolling, or feeding the local feathered mafia. Food stalls tempt you from every corner, game stalls try to rob you politely, and the ducks waddle around judging everyone’s life choices. It’s noisy, charming, and somehow relaxing. 5/5. For the ducks. Always for the ducks.

If you are coming from Kunming , you would need to take a bus (25 RMB , 1 hr) from Kunming eastern bus station (located at Kunming east coach subway station) to Yiliang county bus station first , followed by taking bus 21 (10 RMB, 1 hr 10 min) to Jiu Xiang cave ticketing office. The ticketing office is 5 km away from the actual cave itself. At the ticketing office , you are expected to buy a trip package that include some activities such as watching a 10 min video and a boat ride to bring you to the cave and back. As such , if you only wish to visit the cave directly, there is no transportation to bring you over. It is almost impossible to find a car by ride-hailing as well. Hence, it is important to plan your time so that you enough time to do the whole trip package if you do not have your own transportation. There is a ticketing office here as well but they only sell the entrance ticket (60 RMB) and a chair-lift ride (30 RMB) to return back here. The cave itself is large and there are coloured lights to beautify the rocks. There are also some sections showing the prehistoric time on earth and another about the mythical aspect of the cave but you would need to pay (30 RMB each) if you wish to visit them. There is also a sedan chair service offered if your legs are getting tired for a fee. There are also some souvenir shops and eateries in the cave complex. There is also a fun slide (30 RMB) to go to the lower levels of the cave when you reach the upper levels. The floor is wet as the water drips from the rocks above so do be careful. The duration to tour the cave would be about 2 to 3 hours. You would need to climb up some steps at the end of the walk in the cave followed by taking a chair-lift ride back to the ticketing office.

It was an amazing experience visiting this treasure from mother nature. First of all, we began with a short boat ride at the bottom of the canyon. Then we walked through naturally carved caves and admired at the stalactites. It's enormous inside and you find river through the caves and water dribbling through the rocks and even giant waterfalls inside. The final cable ride that took us a out of the caves was an unforgettable experience as the view was stunning. Beware, it's gonna be long day with a lot of stairs. The walk took us 2-3 hours in total.

It's worth climbing hundreds of step to see all this amazing scenery.

We had Starbucks coffee inside the lion cave. The information sign posted wasn't helpful and we had difficulty locating our next stop after our coffee break. At the beautiful twin waterfalls, a photographer was there to take your photograph. Like most places in China, you then have to pay for the photo if you like it. The last stretch was more than 300 steps of uphill climb, which can be tiring for some. They have sedan chairs for hire at 30 yuan if you need help. Then you take a cable car to exit the park.

Thousands steps to finish this cave,quite good. On the exit,u'll find fruit sellers, and it's a 'must try'. They sells many kinds of fruit,so fresh and not expensive. On the exit,u may also take cable car.

A rockscave place that located at Jiuxiang, which had been in a movie call The Legend (神话) act by Jackie Chan. There was a huge waterfall that made me impress and the rocks cave have lots of different shape and size that through by water, oxygen and time. Known as the "museum of karst caves", Jiuxiang boasts more than 100 karst caves and is the largest cave group system in China

This is the smaller stone forest ("Naigu"), not the famous big one. Which means we were almost alone there. There are several cool trails. We actually got a bit lost, so it is not that small at all! There is a lot to discover and it was beautiful. A hidden gem 😍 Tickets can be bought at the entrance. We went there and back with a Didi, no problem at all.

Excellent experience and very well managed attraction. Weather clears up and becomes overcast by the minute some days so don't worry if it's misty as it might clear up. Go with the combo tickets that get you all the cable cars and funiculars so you're not exhausted.

Wow! Amazing! Excellent! Still in awe and very greatful that i had the chance to visit this place. I am really amazed how they were able to build this place. From the Sapa sun plaza station, to the monobrail, to the cable car up to the very end. Views, people, experience are all 10 stars. We also bought the package with buffet food via klook so everything is included. Really great experience! Will be back definitely. Just be mindful of weather. Make sure to check ahead of time. If it is foggy, you won''t see anything at all. You must be ready and prepared to be able to go up. Oxygen level here are very low and can be tiring and hard to breathe when walking and going up.

Can be very crowded with tourists as people tend to push each other when boarding the cable car which annoyed me. It's better to go when it's not foggy as during my visit I can't have a nice clear view. Stairs can be steep and strenuous for some. Be prepared to stop by tourists that are busy with photo taking. I think this place can be a bit overrated but I quite like the beautiful garden before going into the cable car station

Amazing place to visit. I hiked all the way up, and wow… it’s a lot of stairs. You need to be in decent shape because the stair part is definitely the hardest. I would have preferred a normal mountain trail, but there’s only one way up, so you just have to take it as it is. I did the hike with a guide and a group, but honestly, I don’t think it was worth it. The guide doesn’t really do anything besides walk with you and give you a very basic lunch at the second camp, you can bring something much better yourself. The trail is super clear anyway. There’s only one main path, so you’re not going to get lost. And if you ever feel unsure, just follow the electric line. Before the first camp, there are two small paths, but look for the knife marks on the trees, that’s the correct one. Going up took me about 6 hours including breaks and a 1-hour lunch. Going down is actually pretty easy if you don’t rush, and it takes around 4 hours. You really don’t need the cable car. Just make sure you bring a light because it gets dark around 5 PM. If you start at 7 AM, you should be back around 6 PM. And one more thing, arrange a driver or have your scooter ready. When you finish the hike, there’s no one around 😅.

Very good experience that go up to above the cloud, nice view and good whether with sun light and only 9' degrees, enjoy the moment on top, but the only thing is people mountain people sea, and the train and cable car for transportation to go up make us Q for very long, otherwise overall quite a enjoyable moment

5 stars for the „view“ (if u have good weather), the landscape atmosphere at the summit. 0 stars for everything else. This is commercialization at its finest. From the first to the last second, it's all about selling and make money. It's set up like Ikea in europe. Once you're inside, you have to follow the paths and there are no shortcuts. The Wow Pass for €16 at least prevents long queues at the individual rides. We started at the bottom on a Saturday around 10:30 a.m., because at 8:30/9:00 it was full of people. We thought we had waited for the first bus rush. But that was stupid of us. Next point the cable car close in two days for maintenance. Unfortunately this info was not posted very well. The better time to go up is 2:30 p.m. or shortly before the last train goes up. When it's busy, you end up in long queues at several points, so that a good hour and a half or more can pass without you even getting on the cable car. It's a bad Disneyland at 3000m. :( it’s a shame. The weather itself was not good. A lots of clouds. But this is part of the game on mountains ;) We book the tickets before online @ klook

Been on several cable cars in the past, but not one could compare to the fansipan legend cable car. Your cable car travelling through valleys and going up to a misty cloud hidden peaks evokes images of wuxia novels and the journey to immortality past human concerns. Watching yourself rise above visible signs of human habitation, roads, and cities is a philosophical experience in itself, and the descent is also equally fascinating. For our less fantastically inclined friends, the distance covered and time spent on the ride is much higher than most cable cars. The cable car goes much faster than initially apparent as well. Even as you watch the way you zip from one pylon to the other, watching the incoming cable car makes the speed which both cable cars are actually travelling easier to see. We shared our cable car with a party of Vietnamese elders doing some sort of pilgrimage, the peak seems to be a significant Buddhist destination, and I can see why

This is one of the most memorable and magnificent cable car rides I ever had. The station is just beautiful and looks picture perfect. The ride provides you with the views of rice terrace gardens , lush gree. Valleys and mountain vistas. You can also spot some waterfalls and distant landscapes. Overall it is a magical cable car ride. If you are a one family and want to sit together, you can inform at the start of the ride. They shall arrange for the same.

Mind-blowing. Hats off to the engineers and the team behind all the work that went into making this dream like experience a reality. If you visit vietnam and don't experience this, your trip is incomplete. I am still wondering the amount of effort that went into completing this project. You get to witness land, rail, air all kind of transport in one journey 🙏. The safety norms and staff are incredible. We travelled during the peak holiday season yet didn't face any problem. The fee is considerate. One should definitely carry warm clothes and good pair of shoes if you intend to trek to the top. There are many food stalls and drink stations so you need not worry about snacking.

Such a cool experience! This holds the world record for longest cable car ride and highest change in elevation for a cable car! CHECK THE WEATHER! Because the views can be insane from the top on a clear day, but if it’s really cloudy, you’ll be lucky to see your hand at the top! We went on a partly cloudy day and had partial views, but still so worth it! Once you get to the top via the cable car, you have the choice to climb the stairs the rest of the way or take a funicolare to the top. We did the stairs and it was great! Beware, it’s still about 30-45 mins of stairs and is a work out for sure, but it’s a really cool experience! Check it out if you’re in Sapa!

Spectacular views as long as the clouds don't roll in. Super high tech cable car system, clouds managed reasonably efficiently. Amazing photo opportunities, although nothing organic or historically interesting. Everything was built for the tourists.

Loved this place, the topiary and landscaping was heavenly, the Succulents (Cacti) landscaping was simply mind-blowing, tastefully done, plenty of excellent and unique photo opportunities. The altitude and the pleasantly chill atmosphere was a delight. One word of advice - please visit on a sunny day to get the best of cable car experience and 600 steps climb (or train plus 300 steps) view from the top.

Had a smooth and lovely trip to Taxua mountain. Great communication with Nghia who was able to get all the transport / guide / accommodation in proper order. One of The Most Memorable Parts of Our Trip! We absolutely LOVED this three day, two night trip with Nghia! We started from Hanoi and made our way up north to Mu Cang Chai. We spent the first day trekking to a tea farm up in the mountains and spent the first night at a homestay. We biked through rice fields, met locals and learned a lot about the community. We trekked up in Mu Chang Chai the second day via motorbike, walking and met locals, including our tour guide. As a traveler here, you need to be flexible and willing to experience the trip, even when the conditions aren't ideal. It rained some on the second day, and was very muddy, but I think that gave the day an even better memory. Our meals were also very yummy and we were able to experience all sorts of local delights.

The 4 days spent with the tour organized by Zonitrip were truly exceptional! We visited places that would otherwise have been impossible to visit independently. Everything organized to perfection, from the driver to the places to sleep, from meals with local food to overnight stays. A true immersion in Vietnamese culture and customs! Booked 1 day fanispan trekking for 2 pax with this company. guide and car picked us up at the hotel 7am, on time. guide and porter assigned to us named Susu/ Su was very good, took good care of us. Finished 12.2KM of trekking trail with good pace and sufficient rest stopps. Su also helped to carry 2 x 1.5L water, lunch, bananas and mandarin oranges. Pls tip ur porter/ guides generously, they work really hard.

We were in Yen Bai which is 3hours from Hanoi by bus. Nghia organised everything for us, as dropped us on the Highway at midnight to catch the bus to Sapa ! We were only four in our group, and we started to hike the first day and we slept in the base camp (2800m). Good atmosphere and good people over there ! The guide cooked a great meal for us and we spent good time drinking some local alcohol and beers (you can find beers in the hut but you have to bring your own alcohol wink emoticon The day after we started to hike around 6.30am for 2 hours until the top of the Fansipan. Unfortunately it was really cloudy, like almost every day so no regrets ! We decided to go down by the cable car (600 000 dng) cause of the rain. We had time to visit around Sapa and to meet some locals before to take the bus. The city is really nice even if it's extremely touristy... We went back in Yen Bai around 8pm and Nghia was waiting for us with her husband to dropped us at home. That was 2 really nice days ! Thank you so much for everything ! I highly recommend Zonitrip !

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark: This, according to an information area near the road, is the start point of the DONG VAN KARST PLATEAU. The main feature of the ride from here to Dong Van is the rugged karst (sedimentary limestone) terrain which route QL4C runs through, on the way to Don Van Township. The ride is quite spectacular with lots of small peaks (hills) covered with jagged limestone rocks. There’s a parking area just of route QL4C which has some information billboards and drink sellers. The side road which heads around the side of the hill goes through some spectacular terrain with excellent views of the landscape, across to the west. Take a short ride (2 km) up this side road to get some great photos. Safe travels, Mega.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark is a place you will definitely want to see and travel if you are in northern Vietnam.

Beautiful stop for the Ha Giang loop!

Loved travelling by those twists and turns. As soon as you go up the slope there are few sellers selling fruits and other things to eat. Also, there are children carrying flower baskets for tourists to take pics along with them for a fee. We didn't take any pictures with them, so don't know about the price.

Ba Be is a surprisingly low key tourist destination, a picture perfect mountain lake surrounded by gorgeous scenery. The main accommodation options are simple homestays in a small hilltribe village. It's a lovely place, but sadly, while the lake is nice to look at, there's not much to do, really. Boat trips are more geared towards domestic tour groups and quite pricey, and I didn't find any suitable place for a nice swim anywhere around.

Ba Bè lake is an autentic place in the north of Vietnam, nothing turistic at all! It's pretty wild there...and that makes this place even more beautiful! We stayed in a homestay in the middle of nowhere, so unreal! I have so many beautiful memories there...

This is the largest natural lake in North Vietnam situated in the remote mountains accessible by narrow and winding mountain roads Accommodation in this National Park is by way of numerous home stays. Our lodging is clean and food is good by local standards Boating facilities are available for a modest fee

Ba Be national park is huge natural reserve in North Vietnam. We were told it is more than 23000 hectares in size. One of the highlight is the Ba Be lake which is a natural lake amidst limestone cliffs. There are also few beautiful caves and waterfalls. So refreshing to go on a long boat ride on the lake. There are lot of trekking trails around Ba Be lake and these are a must do. There are also bicycle tours to go around the lake. The road is pretty good and hardly there is traffic. Visit the Ba Be tourism centre at the entrance of the national park to get more details.

Beautiful and peaceful piece of land in Northern Vietnam. Definitely one of the must sees while visiting this part of the country. Boat trip on the lake is a must and is one of the highlights of what you can do here besides kayaking, trekking or simply laying back and enjoying the nature. Multiple and welcoming homestays to choose from which will only elevate the experience higher.
