Tam Thanh Mural Village is an interesting yet somewhat neglected destination. Located between the river and the sea, the village is easily accessible by car, but it remains quiet due to the fact that most locals are fishermen who spend their time at sea. This creates a peaceful but somewhat deserted atmosphere. Walking around, you can see colorful murals on the walls of houses, though many of them have faded over time. The natural scenery is beautiful, with the contrast of the ocean and the tranquil river, but unfortunately, the beach is littered with trash, which takes away from its charm. One of the good things about visiting Tam Thanh is that you don’t need to buy any tickets or book in advance. However, aside from taking photos and enjoying the quiet surroundings, there isn’t much else to do. If you’re looking for a well-maintained tourist attraction, this might not be the place for you. But if you appreciate off-the-beaten-path experiences and local life, it could still be worth a visit.

This place is uniquely painted village in Vietnam. The painting project is co-started by the cooporation between Vietnamese government and a Korean university. Since its completion, the village has become a famous tourist attraction where you could find a lot of photogenic scenes, local activities and nice natural landscapes only found on middle Vietnam.

A very nice, lovely, quiet and beautiful little fishing village by the sea. White sand and fishing boat laying in wait between the trips. Not very much tourists as there are not many hotels but homestays. Cute wall paintings along the main road running through the village. This is ideal place for those who want a a real hide away.

This village was designated by the government to be an area of art. They got artists to paint murals on the walls of the fishing village. The village runs along one road for just over a kilometre. The paintings are just impressive and are of many different themes. It was an absolute pleasure to visit this little off the beaten track place and see it before it becomes over commercialised with tourists, which is sadly happening in Vietnam today.

Lovely little village where the homes and fences have been painted with various scenes. Murals are very artistic. The beach area is relatively clean and virtually empty. There were a few touts but no hard sell, or pressure, a simple shake of the head and no thanks and off they happily went. Can also walk down to the fish farms. Not really geared for tourism and that was the best part.

We did a 6-hour trip to Tam Thanh village, it was awesome! We park our bike for 5,000, walk through the village to find the paintings, some on hidden wall behind, some on those walls in small alley, so it was really fun. lunch for 20,000 per person, noodle or steam rice with side dishes, which can be found on the main street, pretty cheap! We had sugar cane juice, while h can be found anywhere. Long clean sandy beach, very quiet. On the way to Tam Thanh, just after the Waterpark, we found magnificent white sand dunes, perfect pho photoshoots! Highly recommend!

Truly devastating place. The Museum and documentary we saw in the museum depict just the horrendous tragedies that the United States did to innocent Vietnamese civilians. We meet with a survivor of this massacre and his story was devastating. Walking through the re creation of some of the buildings is truly heartbreaking to see a whole village just get wiped out in a matter of hours. The place is truly sad and shows you the horrors of War and why we need peace in this world. Also if you are in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) visit the War Remnants Museum as it tells you about more on this massacre and also other war crimes.

Everybody visiting Vietnam should spend an afternoon walking round the gardens and museum to reflect on the tragedy of this war crime. An incredibly moving experience which I am very grateful to be able to visit. Very informative and a must-see to understand the impact of America’s War on Vietnam.

Staff were friendly, and price was reasonable, around 20k + 5k parking. If you have extra time, I also highly recommend seeing the nearby Chùa Minh Ðức, a beautiful towering Buddha statue and temple on top of a hill.

Very good museum, preserving the memory of this terrible event. There is a 30 minute documentary, as well as many artifacts in the museum and a garden. Must visit for anyone in the area, especially Americans, so we can learn from history, instead of repeating it.

A historic memorial and museums space and garden to be visit for everyone who find his way to Quang Ngai. Be aware that the local people are still traumatized when they get in touch to western tourists.

For me it was an emotional place. Its so sad how barbaric humans can be, and continue to be to one another. It's well worth a visit.

Nice quiet resort right on the beach! We visited in low season so we almost had the place to ourselves. Clean room, hot water and 1 min to the beach, smart TVs would be a nice but the location makes up for it.

Room was very noisy with nearby AC on and off all night. Shower has no curtain so water goes all over the floor and down the sides of the bath causing a mouldy smell. Room AC was barely adequate. Breakfast pretty basic.

Fine for overnight- on a lovely beach with great views. Rather small and dark bungalow with a faintly musty smell. Hair dryer came close to melting and then died. Sitting on a terrace having coffee and a rat comes wandering by! Faded grandeur.

Seen better days, odd smell, tired restaurant. And a decent sized rat was the most interesting thing in the shop. Nevertheless a fun little stop on way north and an excellent supper at nearby chau Me beach

worst experience of staying in a hotel in my life! first of all, they gave us an old small room near the main road with a dirty pool outside that barely is worth 300k, but they will charge you for 800k. we stayed there for a few hours then at midnight they came to our room and threw us out of the hotel because instead of passports we showed them our residency cards and they didn't know what this is! so we slept a night outside on the beach. and the worst part is they charged us for this service! unbelievable! please don't waste your time and money in this place. especially if you are foreigners.

This resort is the worst resort I have ever been to. It is more like a motel. The beds were lumpy, the highway is right next to all rooms so all night you would hear trucks driving by honking their horns and the food at the restaurant gave my boyfriend Food poisoning. And the resort still expected us to pay for it. I tried to explain that due to how sick we both were I was not going to pay for the food, but their English was so bad she kept saying "no, sorry". And would call the manager saying the same thing afterwards. There was also a wedding next door which played the loudest music all night long. And the beach was dirty, with no chairs or umbrellas. The pool had bugs in it. The restaurants service was horrible. We waited over 15 minutes to get our order taken. And I had to ask for the bill three times. They do not serve ice with the sodas only a cup. And the table clothes were dirty probably from the previous meal eaten on them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Especially not at the crazy prices they charge.

We didnt actually stay here. We stopped in on the motor bike because of the spectacular view and beachfront. It was one of the cleanest beaches we have seen in VN and the food we ordered in the restaurant was quite good and generous in portion size. If you have time or are travelling by i would definitely reccomend stopping.

Stunning place about history of Tay Son dynasty

King Quang Trung is my biggest hero, so visiting his museum is my purpose of the trip to Bình Định. The museum was built right on his original house location, in which a tamarine tree and a well are still alive since his time. It may take you the whole morning or afternnon to finish the museum.

beautiful small cham temple at the top of a hill overlooking the farmlands. go early in the morning around 7 when they open to avoid the heat and especially a lot people, or late evening before they close. must visit if you’re in quy nhon or on your way from/to the airport. 15k/pp admission fee. you can also rent simple ao dais for the photos.

A bit far from the city center of Quy Nhon, but totally recommended if you rent a motorcycle to visit this place, free parking n lots of parking space. You either pay to ask the locals to bring you to the top of the hill to see 2-tower Cham temple, or you can climb as it's not that high, about 10 to 15 mns walk. On top of the hill, it's really beautiful with red brick Champa temple as one has to admire its peak civilization that has lost n buried in its history.

Banh It Tower is one of the relics with similarities in the Cham Pa tower relics. Moving here from the city center is quite far, if you are a person who studies archeology, history, admire ancient architecture, this is a suitable relic. You can visit and walk around here within 30 minutes. For me, this is a beautiful and historically significant tourist destination.

Worth the 20km drive from Quy Nhon City! It was such a very great experience. One thing I'd like to highlight tho, is that you might want to bring some water and some extra cash. It's a nice place for photos during high noon but it surely is very hot up there on top. Since it's very far from the city, not much people visits the place. Highly recommend you should try this when you visit QuyNhon.

It was super hot when we went since it’s deep inland. Highly recommend taking the bike ride up if weather is super hot. This place has a good amount of information about the site but could be much more informative. There are four different remaining buildings on site and they seemed to be renovated externally. Inside the main building there are people’s names carved into the bricks which ruined part of the experience and the historical significance of the site. One of the temple toward the bottom has become a cave for the bats. It was very interesting to see but that the same time ruined the importance of the place. It would have been much more enjoyable if there were more shades and more historical information along the way about the people, the area, and the reasons for these temples in that location.

This temple about 40 minutes from Quy Nhon by scooter is definitely worth the trip. It’s pretty impressive and has an interesting history. Not many people visit, so it’s nice and calm. The view is really good with lots of nature around. Good spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.

If you like old historical sites this is a good place to go. Built between the 10th and 12 century.

Very big zoo. The compounds for the various animals are very big, giving the animals plenty of room to wander. You can be lazy and get a mini bus aaround, but the walk is very easy and you can see more. There a a couple of refreshment stops around the park selling much needed drinks and ice creams. The ducks and swans looked a bit uninteresting at first. As we approached there were 3 swans over the other side of the lake,and by the time they swam over to us, there was about 30.

Unnecessary chaos. Animal welfare aside (and there are some really deplorable animal enclosures here), the guest experience was awful on a holiday weekend visit. Only one ticket booth open to buy tickets with no line control, just pushing and shoving to get to the front. The buggy service is where it gets annoying and dangerous. BEWARE: if you don't get back on a buggy by the elephant, you won't be able to get on. So you're left waiting or walking. We wasted 30 minutes hoping that someone would have the decency to send some empty buggies to the swan lake where a load of kids and old people were waiting. We called the hotline many times, but the buggies just came full and nobody wanted to get off because Vietnamese people are smart and realize if they get off, there's no getting back on. FLC should be ashamed of itself for advertising a world class park, and delivering a third world experience. This can be easily fixed with better staff training, queues, and obviously more buggies. Bottom Line: if you go on a regular day, it's probably okay, but still a pretty sad place to see animals. If you go on a busy day, you're in for a hellish experience. Be prepared to sweat and battle your way through...

Approx 3 km and 400 meters of elevation to reach the top. Some portions are very steep..once you get to the top, walk past the radar station and turn right into a very small narrow dirt path. You'll be able to sit on 2 large boulders to take an unblocked view of QN. No shops at the top and grab does not come fetch you from the top. Plan 40 minutes for descent. Grab is available at the bottom of the mountain, before the pumbaa coffeehouse.

I first visited this temple in 1968 while serving with the US Army. I was stationed in Quy Nhon. I went there often and it was at this temple that I began my conversion to Buddhism. I revisited it in 2015 after stumbling on it accidently.....or maybe no accident. This temple holds a very special place in my heart and soul.

A good little museum. Most labels in English too. Older history and more recent. A very enjoyable hour or two. Clean and well kept. One floor dedicated to Uncle Ho and recent Vietnamese history. Highly recommended and only 10k to get in.

Very interesting museum dealing with local artefacts from ancient times to modern. 10k to get in with most stuff on the ground floor and the second floor dedicated to Ho Chi Minh. A few war items and story board telling of the local resistance to the French and Americans. Definitely a place worthy of a visit.

Found ourselves in Quy Nhon on a cool cloudy day not suitable for the so went looking for other things. This museum is quite interesting and can occupy 90 minutes. Lots of exhibits relating to the American war. The propaganda aspect is certainly apparent but not surprising as Quy Nhon didn't fall until the last day of the war. The earlier history is also represented with a whole room dedicated to Cham artefacts. Upstairs is a whole room representing Bac Ho's history and relationship with the province of Binh Đinh. 10,000 vnd entry fee. Not sure if I would have visited if the weather was better but I'm glad that I did nonetheless.

For just 10,000VND for a ticket, this place quite a lot offer, from the champa era artefact exhibitions to the more modern era of the vietnam war. If you want to spend 1 hour, this is not a bad call

Peaceful place. Not a bright day but the beach still looks picnic/ browsing-inspired. The entrance belongs to a hospital, with Vietnamese Poet Han Mac Tu Memorial House and a short path leading to Quy Hoa Beach inside. Spot little Dom (Dot) doggy from a cute coconut and refreshment sales lady.

This is a relaxing and peaceful beach. I do not think it’s safe to bath here as the wave was a bit high at the time of my visit and no one seems to be monitoring here. But still, it’s a nice place beach to visit.

Really really good place for exploring central craft villages and traditional architecture... Nice and comfortable for stop by on the driving way.

The famous beach in “Dear brother” movie of Vietnam. It used to be a secluded public beach but now a private company buy it and build a high way all around. Buy a 20k/ticket and you can drive your bike to the trail. It takes 15 mins to get to the cliff and got the spectacular view.

Nice local beach that offers very long coastline. Very clean water, peaceful waves, clean sand beach with some rocks. Around evening time there are a lot of local seafood stalls showed up and offered great variety of very fresh seafood- look like an open wet m/flea market.

Wake up at 4:30 am, ride a motorbike 30km from Tuy Hoa city to Dai Lanh lighthouse. Ride a motorbike and watch the sunrise. When we arrived it was around 5:20 am but everyone had arrived very early. Entrance fee is 30k per person. Parking is 10k. After that, everyone walks about 15 minutes to the top of the lighthouse. The sea view from here is very beautiful....

Beautiful place, pretty crowded most of the time, but the view is quite stunning. Took a bit of trekking effort to get there, around 30-45' from the gate. Best time to go there are at dawn and dusk. You can capture some priceless moment during such time. Suitable for backpack travel and tourist of all kind. The camping beach is also a pleasant bonus for the view.

Is this the best beach ive been to? Yes absolutely. Serene and calm. The beach was comparatively empty and not many tourists come here. The sand was white and water blue. Its a 2 hours drive from nha trang and you can spend the whole day here. You can rent a bed and relax here all day.

Dốc Lết Beach is a wonderful site 50km away from Nha Trang city. It's covered with white sand and the waves are nice. November is a low season and you have almost all the beach for yourself. Going there from Nha Trang by local bus costs you only 60.000₫ the return ticket and the bus passes by Tran Phu street, which goes alongside the beach.
