Table land is the second highest asian plateu in India . From this place we can see the views of following places - 1. Pandavgad , Wai and nearby villages ( previously known as Viratnagari as per Indian Mythology )at the eastern part of plateu 2.Kamalgad at the western part of plateu 3.Dhom dam at the western part of plateu Table land is the great place for people who enjoy long walk, running, playing ground sports. Table land turns more beautiful from 20 September to 11 October every year as this is flowering period of many wild flowering plants found in western ghats .

"We visited this place for the first time and weren’t sure how much area there was to explore. At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. If you enjoy horse riding, you can try it—but it’s quite expensive and not really necessary. The natural beauty here is excellent, especially at Table Point. 6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

Visited yesterday.This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

The lake itself looks nice from a distance, but it’s extremely crowded, especially on weekends. You often have to wait for hours just to get a boat ride, and the entrance area gets very chaotic. During the rainy season, the place becomes filthy and muddy, and the hygiene is below average. The nearby horse stand adds to the mess — the area is dirty and full of people constantly chasing you for rides. They charge around ₹200 for just 500 meters, which is absolutely not worth it. Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.

It is one of the most scenic attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Great for boat rides while watching the sunset. We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

Amazing journey, must visit in monsoon. But avoid night driving, visibility is very low in night. Can't see even 20 meter ahead. Otherwise it's just like experiencing heaven in monsoon.

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

We went to Pratapgad Fort with family. There is no ticket for anyone. It has historic significance. This fort was made by Shivaji when he was 16years old and it was the most smaller fort built by Shivaji. This fort has one ambey bhawani mandir and shivling and hanuman temple which has historical importance. There is also Afzal Khan grave . While you visit take guide he will explain you everything.

It is easily walkable, making the trek accessible for most visitors, and the views from the top are simply crazy—truly panoramic and breathtaking. The atmosphere inside the fort is palpable; everyone can feel a strong, positive energy during the walk. ​However, prospective visitors should plan ahead for a few logistical issues. There is a possibility of traffic jams on the road leading up to the fort, and finding parking during peak hours can be quite difficult. Additionally, be mindful of the resident monkeys, who can be a nuisance if you are carrying food items. Come prepared, and you will have a wonderful, energizing experience!

Its well maintained and worth every step. Its easily walkable and view is crazy. There's not ample space for parking so adjust accordingly. It gets very foogy by the evening and advised to carry a torch or phone with sufficient battery as there are no street lights and power cuts are frequent. Visited Temple on Sunday. There was rush but however darshan was done within 15 minutes. There were 2 parkings. One with 200m away from temple.Rs 50 parking fee for four wheeler. Prasad was good. Pooja thali was for Rs 60.

We recently visited Mayureshwar Ganpati Mandir at Morgaon, and honestly, it was such a peaceful and divine experience. We reached early in the morning around 5:30 AM, so luckily there was no waiting at all - we got direct darshan without any crowd. The atmosphere at that time was so calm - the sound of bells, a gentle breeze, and that early morning silence just made everything feel so spiritual. The temple is clean and beautifully maintained, and the Ganpati idol looks truly divine. There are a few shops outside for prasad & flowers but they were closed since we reached very early in the morning ... Parking space is also available, and tea stalls were open at that time, early in the morning.... If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely suggest going early morning for a peaceful and fulfilling darshan. Truly a beautiful and soul-soothing experience! 🙏✨

I visited the temple on Tuesday and had a wonderful experience. The darshan of Ganeshji was truly divine and peaceful. What made it even better was that there was no rush or crowd, which allowed me to spend some serene time in devotion and soak in the spiritual atmosphere.

One off the Ganapati temple from Shree Ashtavinayak. Its based in Morgaon, the temple has great history. Temple is built in ancient times but is still in great condition, many pilgrims visit here daily. Lot of shops nearby temple. Its well maintained.

It is believed that pilgrimage should start and end here Architecture & Ambience The temple is built in black stone with a distinctive Nagarkhana (music gallery) at the entrance. Surrounded by four gates in the shape of a peacock (hence the name Mayureshwar). The main sanctum is calm, with the idol facing north, which is rare in Ganpati temples. The idol is considered Swayambhu (self-manifested), adorned with a Nag (serpent) and a diamond in the navel. Experience Spiritual Vibe: Very serene and deeply devotional atmosphere. Crowd: Moderate on weekdays, heavy during weekends and Ganesh Chaturthi. Darshan Time: Quick on normal days (10-15 minutes), but expect queues during festivals. Cleanliness: Overall good, maintained by the trust. Facilities Parking: Available near the temple. Food: Small eateries and prasad shops nearby. We visited Shri Mayureshwar temple in the early evening and had a great experience. less crowd and amazing atmosphere. Darshan of Ganesh Ji was divine and peaceful.

Lord shiva temple is especially famous for new weds coming here to seek a blissful life. The turmeric powder holi is a unique tradition of this temple where all devotees offer turmeric powder to lord shiva and also pour turmeric in the air. You will have to cross hundred stairs to reach to this ancient temple but it's totally worth. The energy and vibes at the top are simply amazing.

"Jejuri Khandoba Temple is truly a divine and spiritual place. Located on a hilltop, it requires climbing around 400-450 steps, but the journey itself feels very peaceful and energizing. The view from the top is beautiful, and the temple atmosphere is filled with positivity.

I recently visited Khandoba temple at Jejuri as Khandoba is out deity and we often visit this place to take blessings , this time I went with my father and we decided to take steps to climb up the fort as kid I visited but this time it was bit difficult for my father as he is 60+ now but it took us like 30 min to climb up we took breaks to have water in between but when we reached up it was all worth it despite Sunday the number of visitors were less , we got the darshan and then we proceeded back to pune , only issue is that you will find rikshaws easily , and food availability is less like less options are there .

The Baneshwar Temple is a historical and beautiful temple located at Nasarapur @35km away from Pune and @3km away from the NH4 highway. The temple surroundings are maintained neat and clean with spacious free parking. You can see number of Turtles and Colourful fishes in the small pond. There is a beautiful garden which is open from morning till evening 5:30pm only. One has to buy tickets to enter and enjoy themselves in the garden.

There are 2 ways to go to Rajgad fort 1) drive to the place, and 2) trek If one has time and wants some real adventure, I would suggest trek. Difficulty level is moderate but it’s fun. Will take 1.5-2 hrs to reach to the fort

The first trek of my life....the view after climbing the stairs for nearly 3 hours was worth it. There is a lord Shiva temple alongside the Samadi of Shivaji Maharaj. It was pure bliss...peace at its best. Simply put the trek was amazing. The best time to start is early morning. The sunrise is worth watching

Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

This is a well known fort for the Great Maratha Hindu king Sri Chatrapati Shiva Maharaj from where he had ruled the kingdom. At present some part of the fort still available in good shape.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.

The trek or road climb is fun and not too long. The view from the top is amazing, especially during monsoon when everything turns lush green. Clouds move around you, sometimes covering everything, and the wind feels like it can lift you up. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and worth the trip. Food stalls at the top serve authentic rural Maharashtrian food—pithla-bhakri, curd, kanda bhaji, and lime sharbat. After the climb, it tastes even better. - I visited Sinhagad in November and it was really an awesome experience. - There are PMT buses after every 1 hour from Shaniwarwada to Sinhagad [convenient to take before 1pm]. - Two wheelers also available for a day to ride nearby area. - Make sure to meet the locals, eat the food on Sinhgad and feel the power of Maratha on fort. - Very beautifull and easy fort to climb and convenient for children also.

Even though it was Diwali, the crowd was well-managed, and devotees were able to move around comfortably thanks to the efficient security personnel. One small improvement could be providing a tap or facility to wash hands, as we place our chappals on the stand with bare hands. The mandir is really peaceful, and we'll culture, I'll recommend to buy VIP pass, which only costs 100/- , which will directly bow you to the entrence of ganesh idol.

It’s a famous one of the Ashta-Vinayaka (Among 8 Main Ganapati Mandir) situated at Ranjangoan. The Mandir is small but the surrounding area is specious. Lots of small temples are situated inside the Mandir itself. The Entrance is amazing. There is no rush during weekdays. But lots of waiting during weekends and Sankashti.

A highly revered temple of Ganesh. It is one of the ashtavinayak temples. It is right on main road and quite crowded. There are lot of puja item shops on way to temple. Parking space is available but due to large crowd it is usually occupied. In Temple just before entering garbhagrih there is a large gold plate which has Ganapati Atharvashirsh engraved on it.

It was an amazing experience. It is easily accessible as it is just along the highway which makes it convenient to reach. The only downside is the huge line just for hardly 1 min of darshan which is a problem for almost all the temples so can't complain about it. The atmosphere is good, you can also sit for hours in the garden area as it is peaceful and calm.

Evening Aarati timing is at 6.15 pm . Just go in between 6-6:15 pm to attend the Arati . Once Arati has been started they are not allowing any person at that time to go inside This temple also have “Annakshtra” for 50 rupees for one person .

Prati Shirdi is a peaceful and clean temple near Pune, made just like the original Shirdi Sai Baba temple. It’s a great place to feel calm and spiritual. The darshan is smooth, and the temple is well-maintained. You can also enjoy prasad and there’s parking available. A nice weekend visit for Sai Baba devotees and families.

Extremely peaceful Darshan. After chatting with the staff there it was understood that the place isn’t heavily crowded as it used to be before Covid. My family and I got the Darshan in seconds from entering the main pratima building. Ladoo Prasad made from Govardhan ghee was also nice.

Tiger Point in Lonavala is a calm and peaceful spot, perfect for spending some relaxing time. The view is truly enjoyable, especially when it’s cloudy or raining. On a sunny day, it might feel a bit uncomfortable due to the heat and sweat, but otherwise it’s a great experience. There is ample parking space available, and plenty of local shops around offering tea, coffee, maggi, fruits, and other snacks. A nice place to stop by if you’re visiting Lonavala.

Absolutely ridiculous experience. You have to climb all the way up from Lonavla city just to see this view. The view is lovely but not as worth it to come. This place must be crowded in the monsoons due to waterfalls but I think it would not be great to visit in monsoons as well. I did not get why this is called as the lions point. Seriously! The worst part is that the staff took ₹50/- for parking. We just stayed for around 5 min but still. They should keep a time limit of the parking of vehicles. Had a wonderful visit to Lion’s Point & Tiger’s Point, Lonavala. The rainy weather added a magical touch to the surroundings—misty hills, cool breeze, and lush greenery all around. The environment was extremely pleasing and refreshing, making it a perfect monsoon getaway. Highly recommended for nature lovers and photographers!

One of the best point to visit at Lonavala. Just take care of your belongings and loved while having food from Cow. Plan in day light for see clearly surroundings views.

1. Don't trust shopkeeper they charge you 8 times the normal rate while billing ( ask before purchase) 2. Even bone fire was charged for 1400₹. 3. Views are awesome (both tiger and lion point) 4. Must visit place in pune

Both Lion and Tiger points view are really too good and names are due shape of mountains resemble animal in valley. But the view point is little dirty and area is fenced. Just 5 minit is enough to see. May be more attractive in early mornings.

The caves are around 30 minutes drive from Lonavala, and you can go all the way up to the starting point in your own car. Once you reach, there are steps that take you up to the caves, and the climb is manageable. The main cave is impressive with its large pillars and old Buddhist architecture—perfect for photography and for people who enjoy historical sites. However, there are a few issues you should be aware of: Parking is not well managed. There is some confusion, and it feels like they only focus on collecting money rather than providing proper service. No proper receipt is given, which does not feel professional. Extra Gram Panchayat Toll – ₹50 You must pay an additional toll before entering the zone. Again, the road is not in good condition despite charging the toll. Road Quality The road leading to the caves is not well maintained, which can make the drive a bit uncomfortable. Parking Area Even after paying, the parking area is not organized or properly maintained. Apart from these issues, the overall experience of visiting the caves is wonderful. The historical value, the peaceful atmosphere, and the beauty of the ancient carvings make it a must-visit destination if you are in or around Lonavala.

We stayed overnight near Karla Caves and visited early the next morning, 9 o’clock is opening time — the perfect way to enjoy this ancient site without the usual crowd. The short trek to the caves is easy, around 350 stone steps surrounded by lush green hills and fresh morning air. At the top, the magnificent Chaitya Hall welcomes you — one of the largest and most impressive rock-cut prayer halls in India, dating back to the 2nd century BCE. The wooden arch inside, still intact after centuries, adds a rare charm to the stone-carved space. As sunlight filters through the arched entrance, it creates a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The caves were really nice! We visited the first floor, which was great. The area on the right-hand side was restricted due to heavy leakage. The main attraction, located just behind the Ekvira Temple, is peaceful and definitely worth a visit. Entry fees 25 for indians.

The caves are of Buddhist monastery. There’s also a temple of Ekvira Ai temple which is popular among the local public. Hence the place remains very crowded. The Chaitya graha is the only place which has marvellous rock cut arts. Outside this the Ashoka pillar gives you a clue of the age of the caves. Due to too much of crowd place is not well kept. It’s also slowly crumbling

One of the Beautiful place in Lonavla. Must visit place. But you can not go near this Kune waterfalls why because it is under private property now. So we can see this from a distance at Khandala Monkey view point. The view is just Amazing. U can't get over from the view. You can find food stalls there and you can eat breakfast and lunch also.

There was nothing. Google map ended abruptly. Still we went ahead long in search of Kune Falls. There was a beautiful Jungle and some fields to watch. Locals said there is no such falls.

Good place to visit for fun and joy. Road towards waterfall is very raw and cars with low ground clearance may get damaged due to big rocks on the raw road. There are many waterfalls you can enjoy on the way.

The directions on google maps is wrong and the actual entrance is 4kms ahead. The path to the falls is also really bad and can only be trekked. Do not take your cars. Would not recommend.

No proper location and way to visit June falls, we searched way around 30min but the location ended in centre road.. I suggest for 4 wheelers who planning to visit please don’t visit instead of this please visit bhusi dam No way for 4 wheelers

Here all the big infrastructure is owned by Vighnaharta Ganpati temple authority. They own this spacious hall .it is very nicely maintained.Total surrounding of temple and village is covered with lush greenery.Whole area is very neat and clean.A beautiful river is very neatly and cleanly maintained.Prices of hall for any function is minimal.You can opt for accommodation in the hotels build by Temple authority and these Hotels are very much reasonable also they have multiple accomodation options.Climate here is really pleasant.

Shri vighneshwar Ganesh temple ozar is situated near the banks of kukadi river. A very peaceful, beautiful and refreshing temple. You can also visit Lenyadri one more Ashtvinayak which is about 15 kms from ozar near Junnar

Vighnaharta Bappa was a great dharshan. Cleaning was well maintained during pandemic as well social distancing norms. It is great to visit during off season since there will be less crowding.

Visited this place on 16th March 2022 Interesting it was not at all crowded ...... Locals told that , this was because COVID -19 pandemic ..... Shivneri Fort is located nearby this temple ....U can consider this while planning your trip to Ozor ganpati......

Monsoon beauty in Western Ghat, particularly in Malshej, is unbeatable. Clouds, fog, rain, and waterfalls, everything is endlessly. The Govt of Maharashtra provides good parking spaces and beautify water sources and waterfall areas so visitors can enjoy maximum. Hot Maggi, tea, and corn will add cherry on the ice.

This place should be on must visit list in monsoon if you are exploring western ghats. Going here is easy, as for most of the part road conditions are very good. You can come by car, 2 wheeler etc. In ghat section roads are narrow so expect some traffic during monsoon season. Also there is possibility of land slide etc. There are multiple waterfall points in the ghat area where government has build staircase , protective structures to access it easily. Make sure while you park your vehicle, you are not blocking on going traffic. I have seen people doing it. Be a responsible citizen. Same thing go for plastic and other garbage. In monsoon and winter expect lot of foggy weather which limits visibility so be careful. Most of the people I see go till ghat and return if they are coming from pune-nashik highway. I would highly recommend to go down till ghat ends, you will see amazing views.

What a place friends, it is heaven, I went there recently and enjoyed it a lot, I will say one thing that don't go from the check post before the ghat, go through the village, it is a great village, it is off-road but it is a lot of fun, it is 5km It falls far away it was a lot of fun

One of the coolest and awesome place in Maharashtra, this place have very scenic and beautiful view. But this place is very dangerous and thrilling too, it have accident prone area and one must be cautious world travelling at this place. In rainy season its completely covered in dense fog. Also there lots of waterfalls nearby this area and somewhere in mid of Highway waterfalls directly from the mountains on road.
