Visitors can bathe in the natural pools found in the upper part of the river near the falls. For the adventurous, there's a trek down to the base of the falls, though it can be slippery. The dense forest surrounding the falls offers a chance to experience spellbinding natural beauty. The area is also popular for birdwatching. Also famous being known as "Bahubali Falls" as clippings of Blockbuster flick "Bahubali" was shot here. It is also being featured in lot of Bollywood movies. PS:- Athirappilly Falls is a majestic sight! The water plunges from a height of 80 feet, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Highly recommended for visiting.

Great place to visit. Do visit there once. Initially when we reached there the water was low. But as time went the water raised. It was great. We were washed by the water hitting the stones. The scenes there was wonderful. There was so much crowd that time. We can buy the tickets and have to walk somtime to reach the top of the waterfalls. There are shops at the top. You can have tea or icecreams. Then on the right side there is a way to the view from the bottom of waterfalls. The way is somewhat adventurous. It will be difficult for people with joint issues. You have to walk down the road. The way to top is wheelchair accessible.

Beautiful place. A must-visit. I recommend going during the monsoon to see the waterfall in its full flow — it’s often called the Niagara Falls of India. Make sure to wear good anti-skid shoes, and be prepared for about 30 minutes of descending steps to reach the falls. During the monsoon season, it won’t be possible to get close to the waterfall due to the strong flow.

Beautiful place in the lap of nature. Must visit. Best time to visit is during rainy season . But going down nearer to the waterfalls is bit difficult.

We took a detour from Kochi to Munnar and visited these beautiful waterfall. Word has it that certain scenes from the movie Baahubali were shot here. It's a short walk up from the roadhead - at the fork in the trail the left fork takes one to the top of the waterfall and the right fork leads one down a winding set stony steps and then a field of large rocks to the base of these wonderful waterfall. Well worth the detour to spend a couple of hours here!! There is a small fee one must pay to visit the falls. There is parking by the side of the road, but spotty cell signal.

The food, stay and the hospitality by the tribal people was awesome. The only place we had issues with the guide. Better to plan in Feb or March as you can see many animals due to summer. Kudos to the food preparation

A guest house inside a deep forest maintained by kerela eco tourism. You can spot deers peacocks and sometimes elephants near this stay. The overall experience is amazing. But only drawback was even if drinking and smoking is banned here few tourist were drinking and smoking and created lot of chaos there. That ruined the place. Do not do that

Very peaceful, beautiful and an important place in the film history perspective. Better to visit in monsoon or the winter season, else the scorching sun will not allow your sense of relaxation to exist. Tender coconut is a bit costly, wondered why the land of coconut has become like this. There are other places better than this nearby. Need atleast two days to completely experience this out.

Aliyar Dam is in Tamil Nadu but it is part of the Parambikkulam-Aliyar Project. The dam is a good tourist destination. You can spend some time on the dam viewing the deep blue water in the reservoir and the surrounding hills. It is an excellent spot for photos. Usually there are several tourists on the dam. If you go there in the evening you will love the dam and the surroundings in the fading light.

One of my favourite dams in Tamil Nadu is this one. ​I love this place for its serene and nature-bound atmosphere. The dam offers a fantastic view of Valparai and other mountains. ​Don't miss the stunning view from atop the dam. Be sure to walk the full length to witness more scenic views of the bridge, the flowing water, and the surrounding mountains. The entire area seems to be covered with coconut trees. ​The small entry fee is well worth it to enjoy the beauty of the place. It's especially beautiful to visit on non-summer days. You'll find many small eateries outside the dam. ​This is a place you shouldn't miss when you're in Pollachi.

Aliyar Dam is a charming location surrounded by Annamali Hills with wonderful natural views. It is located between Pollachi and Valparai. The dam's location amidst the Western Ghats provides a stunning backdrop, and the surrounding hills and reservoir offer picturesque views. Mango orchid and coconut trees on the one side and hills and water on the other side. Absolute beauty. Entry fee is 5 ₹ person and 20₹ to carry mobile phones inside. Note they don’t accept UPI at the counter , so carry cash. Inside the premises they have various play stations - swings toy trains and many other kids play games - few of them are paid entry. You have to walk to the top of the damn via stairs - close to 100 steps .

Aliyar Dam, located a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Coimbatore city, is a scenic spot that’s perfect for tourists and nature enthusiasts. The combination of the serene dam waters, lush greenery, and towering mountains creates a picturesque setting that’s ideal for relaxing and clicking beautiful photos. The entry fee is quite affordable, just ₹5 per person for access to the garden attached to the dam. If you plan to take pictures using your mobile, there’s an additional ₹20 photography fee. The garden is well-maintained with smaller fountains adding to its charm. After exploring the garden, you can climb the stairs to get closer to the dam. One side of the dam is bordered by the scenic garden, while the other side is flanked by magnificent mountains, making it an incredible sight. Outside the garden, you’ll find some small vendors selling fruits and snacks, although they tend to charge slightly more as it’s a tourist area. However, during my visit, I didn’t see any vendors inside the garden itself. There are also a few shops near the entrance where you can grab some food. For families with children, the kids’ play area inside the garden is a thoughtful addition. If visiting during the daytime, especially in hot weather, it’s advisable to carry water bottles and a cap to stay comfortable. The best time to visit is in the evening when the weather is cooler and the views are even more magical. Parking facilities are available outside the garden, making it convenient for those arriving in private vehicles.

Trekking through Chinnar forest is some experience we will never forget. Don’t book this one for animal sightings, but for a peaceful walk through the jungle, you can watch a variety of birds though. The first visit was a trek to Vashyappara Peak. The second visit was to stay in the Pampar log house and have a couple trekking through the forest. The bath we had in the Pampar River was so refreshing.

I recently visited Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, and it was such a refreshing experience. 🌿✨ Located on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu, the whole place feels untouched, raw, and very close to nature. The drive itself was scenic — hills, forests, and fresh air everywhere. Once inside, the sanctuary offered a mix of wildlife, trekking, and peaceful landscapes. I spotted deer, monkeys, peacocks, and even rare birds. Though spotting elephants and leopards depends on your luck, the thrill of waiting quietly in the forest itself is worth it. 🐒🦌🦜 What I loved most: The guided trekking experience was safe, informative, and gave us a deeper connection with the forest. The watchtowers gave a panoramic view of the entire forest and surrounding hills. The rivers and waterfalls added a calm vibe, perfect for photography and relaxation. Facilities are basic — don’t expect luxury. It’s more about experiencing nature in its raw form. Food and stay options nearby are limited, so plan accordingly. Overall, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary is a must-visit for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone who wants a break from busy life. It gives you that true forest experience is calm, wild, and unforgettable. 🌳🌊✨

Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary stands out as a unique, unspoiled destination—definitely a must-do for serious nature lovers visiting Kerala. We opted for the guided wildlife trekking tour, The absolute highlight, however, was the trek up to the waterfall. The hike itself was beautiful, winding through dense, cool forest trails. When we finally arrived, the view was breathtaking.

Excellent tourist destination. Chinnar is on Kochi-Dhanushkodi National Highway. It is adjacent to the Tamil Nadu border. Chinnar is extremely good as a birding spot. You can also get some wild animals like sambar deer, barking deer, elephants, spotted deer, Malabar giant squirrel and the rare species called grizzled squirrel. There is trekking facility throughout the day. You will get tickets from the ticket counter and a guide will accompany you throughout the trekking. You can opt for a two hour trekking or a three hour trekking. You can also opt for a short walk to the watch tower. There are different kinds of accommodation arranged by the Forest Department.

Visited Palakkad Fort on a holiday and it was almost empty except for a few workers. The calm and peaceful atmosphere made it a relaxing stop. Don’t expect an overwhelming or grand experience, but it’s definitely worth visiting for its historical significance. A quiet place to walk around and soak in a bit of heritage.

Palakkad Fort (also known as Tipu’s Fort) is one of the most well-preserved historical forts in Kerala, India. 🏰 Overview Location: Palakkad town, Kerala Built by: Hyder Ali, ruler of Mysore Year: Around 1766 CE Main Purpose: To strengthen military defence between Kerala and Tamil Nadu and to control the Palakkad Gap (a key mountain pass through the Western Ghats). 📜 History The fort was originally built by Hyder Ali of Mysore. Later, it was captured by the British East India Company in 1768, briefly retaken by Tipu Sultan, and then permanently taken over by the British in the late 18th century. During British rule, it served as a military base and later as a administrative center. 🧱 Architecture Constructed mainly using laterite stones, a common building material in Kerala. The fort has thick walls, wide bastions, and a moat surrounding it. Inside, you can find: Hanuman (Anjaneya) Temple Sub-jail (used during British period) Children’s park Museum (run by the Archaeological Survey of India)

The place has a big parking area and no waiting time. Tickets can be booked online to save money, and children below 15 years get free entry. Overall, it’s a good experience for families. However, one concern is that some couples behave inappropriately in public areas, which can make visitors uncomfortable. It would be great if the management ensured better monitoring to maintain a family-friendly environment.

The fort is small but beautiful and beautifully maintained by ASI, there is nothing to see much but it's a quiet place in the middle of the city. Ample car and two wheeler parking is available in the fort premises. Fort is surrendered by water.

The Adiyogi area of Isha Yoga centre is about a km from parking area. This is a very impressive giant sized statue on a large platform. There is a Shiv Linga in the forecourt area of this statue where visitors can offer Jal abhishek amidst continuous chanting. A good arrangement ! But the walk from parking to the adi Yogi arena can be a challenging one for senior citizens & children during mornings & summer times as it's a wide open area without any trees/shade. So beware of this aspect & go prepared with sunglasses, Caps etc.

Well, big land converted to a religious place having Lor Shiva's statue 🙏 but other than the statue, it is just a place where you can enjoy some food, have shower, and see bullock cart. Lastly a Dome, also called Dhyanlinga where you can sit and meditate. It can also be done at home for people who don't know. There is bullock cart in 50° degrees carrying passengers from one place to the other. I mean we have battery cars and golf cars but they love animals and want them to know that they are loved deeply. Lets make these poor animals carry 9 people at once under the 50° degree sun. Touche! Tradition can be supported with technology too, we don't need to harm animals this way. We could barely walk in the sun and these poor animals were carrying so many people. God forgive these people who are doing this to animals 🙏 BATH FACILITY - We had shower in the morning so we didn't go shower here. I mean it's not elixir otherwise we would have definitely. DHYANLINGA - the road (walk only) leads to dhyanlinga but when its nearly 50° degrees, it makes it difficult to walk barefoot on the UNEVEN and hot surface. They could have put Carpet on the foor covering uneven surface but i guess they were short of funds and also they wanted you to feel the culture. You are going to feel that culture the next day too when your feet hurts. There were old people walking slowly and some of them were pouring water on the floor to walk on that hot surface. It was 3PM and Carpet is a must for people who aren't used to walking on the uneven hot surface. Finally when you reach dhyanlinga, they will force you to sit inside dome and meditate. We recently had an accident and couldn't sit on floot so they forced us to sit on the chair. We didn't want to be rude so we sat for 2 minutes. There was a small baby crying very softly and these CARETAKERS asked the lady to get out pointing finger as if she made a huge mistake. If they can't respect humanity, what good will come of anything they practice in life. We saw that and immediately stood up. 2 of them tried blocking our way. Well, just to be clear, We bow to God only and there was no God here. We are not slaves they need to get this to their heads. We left instantly without responding to them. By the way, the best feeling was when we bought 3 packets of biscuits and made the dog eat. He was very happy and kept coming back to give his love. That was the only good feeling we got. We made sure the dog wasn't hungry anymore and then left back for the hotel. Canteens are everywhere so don't worry if you miss one. There are more on the way. Also phones were not allowed but we noticed some of them carrying it quietly with them. The deposit box is safe. They take your photo and phone number. So nothing to worry about.

The Government Botanical Gardens in Ooty is a breathtakingly beautiful and impeccably maintained garden that is an absolute must-visit. There may be a traffic near view point on week end we have to wait near 15 mins, but after that we can see the full beauty of the ooty view. We can cover almost full of the area from here. Stunning view is there try to be visit on sunny day otherwise mist may hide the view. Entry fee will be collected at the entry for vehicle and we have to pay 20 rs per head we can pay through UPI also. Many shops available there we can purchase small things. Restroom available here.

This peak offers a complete view of valley.There are snack outlets and even a having parlour.The entry ticket is 10₹. One can even buy sweaters and shawl and even hats. One weekends the place becomes highly crowded

This is a really good view spot in Ooty and a must visit, it is the tallest point in the Nilgiris. The experience was decent, first you are supposed to buy a ticket, but before you get in line for the ticket, you have to enter the market, which had clothes and souvenirs. There are may cameramen present there who will click and print photos on the spot. There is also a watchtower, which you can climb up to get a better view from the Peak. The road leading up to this peak is also scenic, with tall trees.

A few minutes away from Ooty centre, it's worth visiting. At Doddabetta checkpoint, around Rs 50-60 deducted for car entry. Entrance fee is Rs 10. Have to walk a couple of steps to go to the viewing point. There's a small watch tower. There's also a few steps leading down to another viewpoint. Overall, amidst the hills of Ooty and Doddabetta, the views are scenic and serene.

One of the great spots to experience Ooty . I wanted to see sunrise but looks like they allow only after 8 am & they follow stringent timelines on open n close so don’t bother visiting after or before official time . They are many good scenic spot while climbing the peak as well .

The safari is well-managed, giving a good chance to spot elephants, deer, bison, peacocks, and if lucky, the majestic tiger or leopard. The forest feels untouched and peaceful. Afternoon safari 2.30 pm trip. In matter of 1 & half hrs we got to see the wilderness of Bandipur... Kind of okay...got to see spotted deers, langurs, elephants.... Was hoping for better experience... anyway let's see...

Bandipur Tiger Reserve forest is a lush green thick forest shutter to numerous number of birds and animals. This road leads to Ooty, Tamil Nadu. This natural forest is a treat to watch. WE spotted lot of Deers. If you are lucky you can see Elephants, Peacocks, Tigers also. This forest is a land of lot of tigers. If you want a rich wild life experience Bandipur Tiger Reserve is a perfect getaway. Monsoon Season will be the best time to visit.

Pls pick camper or gypsy don't go for bus safari , they won't take you many places , the moment the bus starts from ticker counter that timings starts which does not make any sense , from ticket counter to safari road it will take 30 mins , so in ( Bus safari )90 mins 30 mins is wasted , better choose to camper or gypsy , mainly to spot tiger you need a sheer luck but however even they wont put any efforts on that.

Better you buy tickets online so you will have separate counter for buying tickets even if you buy online you need to get that from counter with vehicle number and seat number try to reach there 35-40 minutes before

Not a falls person but this made me one. It was majestic, spectacular and huge. We had to climb down steep steps of 1100 steps to get down there. Getting up again might be difficult. But it's worth the trip. Literally the best falls in Tamil Nadu imo.

If you’re not used to long treks, take it slow and carry enough water. Once you reach the bottom, the sight of the “powerful waterfall” makes every step worth it! The pool at the base is perfect for a refreshing dip, though the currents can be strong, so caution is needed. The untouched beauty of the place makes it feel like a secret escape from the world. The best place for one day trip from bangalore. It’s full of thrilling and I have visited many times . But this time I didn’t get chance to go inside Bec water was too much so they had closed it . Best place to visit with family and friends.

It is a fantastic ride of around one and a half hours from bangalore. Marvelous road with smart turns and curves. Bikers can enjoy it. Stay is not so cheap but can be negotiated. Don't go for oil massage if you are alone as yours belongings can be stolen.

I visited the ashram roughly after 5 years or so. This time I found quite a considerable number of visitors, more so youngsters or families with kids, which was surprising for a weekday after noon. The solitude atmosphere was no longer seen inside the ashram. But it was very noteworthy that despite the presence of so much crowd, there was comparatively very little noise. However, parking has become quite difficult. The area outside the ashram has been totally taken over by auto rickshaws and some of them even blocking the way.

One of the best places to visit . I am requesting each and every person who is visiting Arunachalam please visit this ashram also. No photos and videos are allowed inside the ashram . But while going to the hilltop we can take but be cautious with the monkey. But one small issue is there if you drop the slippers in the ramana maharshi ashram when you climb the hilltop then You must get down again to take the slippers but if you go from the backside of the ashram then you can climb the temple with the slippers under get back from the other side of the mountain to the temple.

The entire temple complex is spacious and well-organized, with good crowd management even on weekends. The darshan feels very divine, and the pradakshina path around the temple is calming. The temple is clean, and facilities like drinking water and resting areas are maintained well. Best to visit early morning or evening for a more peaceful experience. A truly sacred and must-visit temple. Divine time to visit is during full moon days and suggested to visit early morning. Be carefull of your belongings and pickpockets. Enough restaurants, drinking water, wahsroom facilities are available throuvh out Girivalam path. Auto facility available for Girivalam.

Very peaceful and divine place. Arunachaleswarar Temple in Tiruvannamalai is truly powerful — Lord Shiva’s presence can be felt everywhere. The Girivalam (Giripradakshina) around the holy Arunachala hill is around 14 km — a wonderful spiritual walk filled with devotion and positive energy. Best time is early morning or full moon days. Arunachaleshwara Temple has impressive scale and architecture, spiritual significance as one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalam (Agni or fire), and the importance of the Girivalam (circumambulation of the Annamalai hill). It has a powerful, spiritual atmosphere, noting that the temple can be very crowded, especially during festivals or special events like Karthigai Deepam or full moon days., but also that early morning visits offer a more serene experience. Commonly mentioned engineering marvels of the temple, such as the massive stone construction and the mysterious shadow of the vimana and the spiritual energy of the place. You can pre-book just before 2-3 hours for darshan and can be booked both online and offline to avoid the long queues for darshan. Puja items are sold around the temple area.

Visited on week end. Too much crowded. Took around 5 hours to take the darshan. Finding car parking was difficult. Finally could able to park with the help of a auto drive around 800 meters away from Raja gopuram basically it's one of the entrance. Parking fee was Rs 80. I am not sure if this parking was really run by temple authority because it dint look so. Better to take Rs 50 entrance ticket to save some time. I was not aware that there is such facility. After the darshan we can buy sweet pongal and pulihogre for Rs. 10 each. Temple also sells laddus and other items priced Rs. 50 each.

Visited here during Pournami and did the Giripradakshina at night, starting around 12 AM and completing it by 6 AM. The crowd was massive, so after finishing the walk we took some rest in the morning as darshan was difficult due to the rush. Later in the afternoon, around 2 PM, we went for darshan and were able to complete it in just 30 minutes. The experience was peaceful and truly blissful — we really loved the place. Arulmigu Annamalaiyar (Arunachaleswarar) Temple in Tiruvannamalai is a major South Indian Shiva temple located at the foot of the sacred Arunachala Hill. Built by the early Cholas in the 9th century and expanded by later dynasties, it stands as a grand example of Dravidian architecture with many gopurams, mandapams, shrines, and temple tanks. The temple’s spiritual significance is highlighted in texts like Arunachala Puranam and Tiruppugazh, and Lord Shiva is believed to have manifested here as a self-born lingam under a magizha tree. Many saints, including Ramana Maharshi and Seshadri Swamigal, attained samadhi here. I visited today along with my friend, and the darshan was amazing. We spent nearly an hour in the temple after the darshan, and it filled us with a lot of positive energy. Please note: On Pradosham and auspicious days, the temple becomes highly crowded, and waiting time for darshan can range from 3 to more than 6 hours. Parking is also difficult, and you may have to park far from the temple and walk or take auto. If visiting with senior citizens, plan accordingly. Buying special dharshan ticket for Rs 50/- will help.. To avoid crowds, visit on non-festival days, non-auspicious days, and weekdays.

It is a very spiritual and peaceful place. A very good temple to visit with family and friends. The atmosphere is divine and gives a positive energy. Some suggestions for improvement: Currently, the entry fees are accepted only in cash. It would be better if they start accepting UPI or digital payments, as it is convenient for many visitors. Also, they often ask for exact change, which is difficult sometimes. In case of emergencies, it would be good if the management allows devotees to exit easily. For example, one parent’s kid was crying but they did not allow them to leave quickly and insisted on following the full queue. Since they are collecting entry fees, they should provide better services and facilities for devotees. Some of the management staff have a rude attitude, which can be improved to make devotees feel more welcomed. Overall, it is a must-visit spiritual place, but these small improvements can make the experience even better.

Heard about this place a lot so went on 5th oct 25 with family. The parking area was covered but still slushy due to overnight rains. We had to wade through the slush. Though entry fee was rupees 20 but no staff was available hence we entered free. The temple was maintained well. The siva lingams were placed in a orderly manner and pathway was built to access all the lingams. On the biggest lingam honeybees have built their honeycomb. Photo attached. Anyone can keep a lingam in their name after paying rupees 8000 for small one, 35000 for a bigger one and more than a lac for giant size siva lingam. A small pooja will be conducted then a space is allotted for your lingam. Drawback was they do not accept gpay or credit card or debit card only cash. This issue needs to be addressed by the temple authorities. They should not expect devotees to bring this much amount of cash. Infact for using toilet facilities the person collects rupees 5 per head via gpay though the toilet was nasty. The authorities must reign up the contractor. Overall a must visit place but take good amount of cash if you want to keep a lingam there.

Worthy of a one time visit only. Lots of various hindu deities within the complex, beside the 'koti' (meaning crore/ten million) shivlings spread across the place. Serene and peaceful yet this place is by no means a temple for offering prayers. It's clearly made out to be more of a tourist attraction. Starting from paid parking, entry fee of ₹20/- per person, directed visitors in a sequence to confront various hindu deities where the pujari's give you extra attention if one offers money. Better yet, these 'pujaris' coax every visiting individual to 'offer' money for 'blessings'. If one doesn't give/offer money, they grumble and show a care less attitude. Personally dissappointed and not likely to visit this place ever again. I reiterate, this place is more of a tourist attraction, not exactly a place of worship. Accordingly, go mentally prepared when visiting this place.

Temple is very good. Road is also nice to drive if you by Bangalore-Chennai expressway. The only thing which I did not like was at the entrance many transgenders who would demand money from everyone. Other thing is unnecessary forcing people through all the small temples in a queue. Rest all things are very nice and energy there is astonishing. Pujari told there was Brihma temple as well which is second only after Pushkar ji.

I had a wonderful experience visiting Kotilingeshwara Temple with my family. Being surrounded by countless Shiv lingas was truly mesmerizing and made me feel incredibly blessed. Kotilingeshwara Temple, located in Kamasandra near Kolar (about 90 km from Bangalore), is a unique and significant spiritual site. The name "Kotilingeshwara" translates to "Lord of a Crore (10 million) Lingas", symbolizing devotion and the massive scale of the temple's spiritual ambition. The main attraction is the 108-foot-tall Shiva Linga, one of the tallest in the world, accompanied by a 35-foot Nandi statue. Surrounding it are over 90 lakh (9 million) small Shivalingas, installed by devotees over the years. According to a priest there, around 10 lakh more need to be installed to reach the goal of 1 crore (10 million) Lingas, which is the temple's namesake and vision. The temple complex also houses shrines for many other deities such as Ganesha, Hanuman, Annapoorneshwari, Vishnu, and others, making it a multi-deity pilgrimage spot. That said, the experience feels over-commercialized. There's a mandatory ₹20 entrance fee, and almost every shrine has people expecting or insisting on donations, even for a simple darshan. Especially at the Annapoorneshwari shrine, visitors are pressured to donate ₹100 or ₹200 in exchange for a packet of vibhuti, which many may find forceful or inappropriate. Overall, it’s a fascinating temple to visit for its scale and symbolism, but be prepared for repeated donation requests and a very money-minded environment.

Recently visited the place early morning from Bangalore, the road is so good for a road trip. The timing of temple opening mentioned on google is wrong, it doesn’t open at 6 am it does at 7:30 am so plan your travel accordingly. There is ample parking space around the temple, footwear stands are available and some local shops around the temple. The entry ticket is Rs 20 per adult, kids below six years have free entry. The temple allows only traditional dress code for men and women, and phones are allowed inside the temple premises. There are many small temples inside of different deities along with all the lingams. There are many temple area is huge and takes at least an hour to visit fully. The views are mesmerising and definitely worth visiting at least once in your lifetime!

Worth visiting for Lakshmi’s blessings, but skip the ticket. 🙏🏻 It’s a beautiful temple and definitely worth visiting to receive the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. However, I don’t recommend buying the paid ticket — I got the ₹300 one and honestly, it wasn’t worth it. The free visit is more than enough to enjoy the temple. 🪷✨

Very beautiful temple with huge campus area. Temple is surrounded by trees. Place is very clean and clam. Mobiles are not allowed inside. There are specific slots for free darshan. Otherwise need to pay for darshan. I took Rs. 300 Darshan, in that they will allow to sit in front of God for sometime also they gave Prasad. Restaurant, Parking, Accomodation facilities are available.

This was the best temple I've ever seen, the temple is made up of full gold and if you enter in the temple taking 150rs ticket you can do abisheka for 70kg golden Lakshmi idol, i recommend to take 150rs ticket that is best, and temple is open from 8am for 150rs ticket for free entry from 10am

A peaceful and divine temple with beautiful traditional architecture. The main gopuram is currently under construction, and once completed, it will look even more majestic. There’s no luggage counter, so it’s better to avoid carrying bags. A must-visit place in Kanchipuram for its spiritual atmosphere and heritage beauty.

One of the divine abodes of Lord Shiva, which is one of the Panch Bhootha Sthalams representing the 5 elements. Temple space is very vast and there is a famous Mango tree inside the premises which is a must visit. The temple is under construction and hence many access points are restricted from public. Looking forward to visit the temple again after renovation(Dec 2nd week).

Visited on a busy Sunday, the Ekambarnathar Temple in Kanchipuram greets you with a lively, devotional energy that complements its deep sense of history. The complex feels expansive yet intimate in places, with shaded corridors and open courtyards that make it easy to move between shrines and admire details at a relaxed pace. However, the parking area is a mess and muddied. We did park some distance away due to roadblocks within the city, but there is ample place for cars to be accommodated adjacent to the temple itself. The temple is one of the "Pancha Bhoota Sthalas", representing the five elements of Earth, and is dedicated to Lord Shiva in the form of Ekambaranathar. A sacred mango tree is clearly noticed within the complex where Goddess Kamakshi (a form of Parvati) is said to have done her penance to win over Shiva in marriage. It is claimed that the four branches of the tree provide four differing varieties of mangoes in taste and shape with the tree itself being over 3500 years old. Architecturally, the complex showcases classic Dravidian architecture with towering gopurams, pillared halls, and richly carved mandapas. The site’s origins reach back many centuries, with major contributions from Pallava, Chola, and later dynasties; the complex spans a very large area and is among the most substantial temple precincts in the region. Take time to savour in the complex and the intricately carved pillars. Better infrastructure development around this would be helpful. The main entrance and gopuram has construction ongoing and thus not accessible.

We visited this temple on the Saturday evening. There was no rush at all. Temple entry is free & there weren't any special queue. The temple is magnificent and wonder of architecture. The temple is spread in large area. There is ample car parking space. The Shankaracharya Muth is very near to this temple. We felt a divine experience while visiting this temple.

Seeing Lord Venkateswara in person fills your heart with calmness and devotion. It’s a feeling that can’t be explained in words — truly divine. 🙏

A divine and peaceful experience! The management by TTD is truly impressive — from crowd control to cleanliness, everything is very well organized. The queue system is smooth, staff are helpful, and the temple premises are maintained beautifully. The darshan experience feels blessed and memorable every time. Accommodation, transport, and prasadam counters are clearly marked and easy to access. The spiritual atmosphere, chanting, and overall arrangements make the visit very comfortable for devotees.

The laddoo prasadam is another highlight, unique in taste and offered with great devotion. Overall, a visit to Tirumala is not just about darshan, but also about experiencing the blend of faith, tradition, and divinity in one of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations in India. The highlight here is the stunning lighting during the Brahmotsavam festival, which looks absolutely spectacular.

Visited Tirupati after many years with a lot of excitement, but the experience turned out very disappointing 👎👎 Even with reserved tickets, we had to wait more than 7 hours and got barely 5 seconds for darshan. It feels unfair for devotees who patiently wait for so long. A few issues we faced: • Plastic was everywhere despite “No Plastic” rules. • Dress code was not followed by many. • Food quality and hygiene were very poor - even simple canteens outside serve better. • Washrooms were untidy. • No proper guidance to reach allotted cottages. • Cottage/cleaning staff kept asking for money during checkout. The worst part was returning to our cottage after darshan and finding officials cutting trees and damaging the building area. The stairs became unsafe to use, and the staff showed no concern when we questioned it. Overall, what we hoped would be a memorable spiritual visit turned into a stressful experience. Truly disappointed, and I personally wouldn’t recommend visiting under such conditions.

Tirupati Temple is undoubtedly one of the most sacred and spiritually powerful places in India. The divine atmosphere and the feeling of being so close to Lord Venkateswara are truly beyond words. However, despite the spiritual bliss, the overall management experience could be much better. The temple premises are extremely crowded, and managing such a huge number of devotees clearly seems challenging. The queue system, especially during peak hours, often feels chaotic and tiring. People have to wait for long hours with very little information or guidance from staff. Another major issue is the lack of basic amenities, particularly food options for families with small children. Once you enter the long queue for darshan, it becomes almost impossible to find suitable food or milk for babies, which makes the wait even more difficult for parents. Cleanliness and crowd control also need more attention. With proper management and better facilities for devotees, the experience could be far more peaceful and comfortable. Overall, while the temple’s spiritual energy is unmatched, the administrative side needs significant improvement to match the devotion people bring here.

I recently visited Sri Padmavati Ammavaari Temple at Tiruchanur, and it was a truly divine and memorable experience. The temple is very well maintained, and the entire premises are kept neat and clean. The queue arrangements are systematic, so even when there are many devotees, things move smoothly without confusion. The priests perform the poojas with great devotion, and the rituals are conducted in a traditional and disciplined way, which made the experience even more divine. I was also impressed with the temple’s surroundings and the beautiful gopuram and architecture, which reflect such rich culture and heritage. The prasadam was served fresh and was very tasty. Facilities like drinking water, rest areas, and prasadam counters were all available, making the visit very comfortable. The staff and volunteers were polite and helpful in guiding devotees, and I felt everything was well organized. The location is easy to reach from Tirupati, and parking was also convenient. Overall, my visit to Sri Padmavati Ammavaari Temple was peaceful, fulfilling, and filled with positive energy. It is a must-visit for anyone coming to Tirupati..

Visited the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple with family on a weekend 01.11.2025(Saturday) around 07:20 AM... We opted ticket for the INR 50 per person darshan. There was a short waiting time of about 20-30 minutes as the Aarti was in progress, but it was well managed. The darshan experience was smooth, with no crowd pushing or chaos, something that made the visit even more peaceful. Feeling truly blessed. 🙏 Only one disappointed. Proper Car parking is not available. Official temple parking should be allocated some space.🚗 Many parking lots collecting whatever they wish to charge. Anywhere in any street some person will come and give you Parking token. At the time of my visit in above mentioned date, a person in scooty token and charged rupees 70 for car.

Theres ₹50 & ₹200 ticket. ₹50 takes around 1-2 hrs and ₹200 around 1 hr.. General line has rush and more on weekends. No Phone or Bag allowed..keep it in free locker or paid locker near temple. There is direct bus from Tirupati Stn (near Vishnu Nivasam) for ₹20 ticket

Visited on 13th July 2025 A truly divine and peaceful experience at Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur. The temple was well-maintained and the darshan of Padmavati Amma was very blissful. The atmosphere was spiritual and calming, with proper arrangements for devotees. Even though it was slightly crowded, everything was managed smoothly by the staff and volunteers. Highly recommend visiting if you're in Tirupati – a must-visit temple full of positive energy and devotion.

From the moment you enter, you are constantly nudged towards donation counters, book stalls, and prasad shops rather than being allowed to quietly connect with the divine. The focus seems heavily tilted towards generating revenue, with too much emphasis on selling products and promoting programs. The peace and meditative environment I expected was often interrupted by announcements and sales-like approaches, which took away from the serenity of worship. Even darshan felt rushed, as though it was part of a transaction, not a soulful experience. The temple staff appeared more concerned with managing the flow of money and visitors rather than guiding them spiritually. For a place meant to uplift the soul, the commercialization was a big letdown. Though ISKCON has done great work globally, this particular branch in Tirupati felt more like a spiritual marketplace than a sanctuary. If you’re seeking a deep, divine connection, this may not fulfill your expectations.

We visited Sri Kalahasti Temple from Chennai, and it was a memorable experience. The temple is known for its historical and spiritual significance, especially famous for Rahu-Ketu poojas. It’s one of the most important Shiva temples in South India, with rich heritage and powerful spiritual energy. The drive from Chennai was smooth till Sullurpeta, with wide and well-maintained roads. After that, the road becomes narrow and supports two-way traffic, so a bit of caution is needed. That said, the route is scenic, clean, and visually refreshing — we truly enjoyed the journey. There’s paid parking available (₹60) near the temple. We were pleasantly surprised to find hot and tasty pongal served inside, which added to the overall comfort. The temple was very crowded as we visited on a Sunday. We opted for the ₹50 ticket, but still had to wait over 2 hours in the queue. Be prepared for long waiting times, especially during weekends or festival days. Mobile phones are strictly not allowed, and we had to store them in a locker facility (₹20 per phone) before entering the premises. Also, be aware of many random priests approaching for unofficial pujas and offerings outside and even inside the temple premises — kindly stay alert and follow the official counters only. Overall, a deeply spiritual experience — just plan ahead for the crowd and logistics!
