Very calm place. I just saw this beautiful monument standing and went in, it was hot outside but looked so beautiful we visited with our toddler. Inside its very airy and ventilated area. Felt very clean and peaceful immediately. We clicked few photos had some juice and went back to our journey after admiring the place.

Visiting Arthunkal Church was a truly peaceful and uplifting experience. The moment I stepped onto the church grounds, I felt a deep sense of calm and serenity. The beautiful architecture, especially the altar and the wooden carvings, left a lasting impression. The church is not only a place of devotion but also a space that welcomes everyone, regardless of background. I could feel the strong spiritual energy that so many people talk about. It's clear why this place is considered sacred and miraculous by many. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Kerala to stop by Arthunkal—even if you're not religious, the atmosphere alone is worth the visit.

One of the very few basilicas in India. It is an old catholic church which is a famous haunt of pilgrims from all over Kerala. The church is in the name of St Sebastian. It is believed that a European ship facing the imminent threat of shipwreck was miraculously saved near the place and a church was built there in memory of that miraculous divine intervention. The beautiful old church is still kept intact but a very large basilica was built beside it. Tens of thousands of pilgrims and tourists come to the basilica every year. There are beautiful statues and paintings showing the martyrdom of St Sebastian. There is a grotto in the shape of a ship.

Nice evening vibs ! Inside the temple, there are lot of painting on the outer walls. There is a nice carving in wooden and in stone & is AMAZING to visit in the evening because there is a Puja Aarti and drum sounds all around the temple. It is very big area, which is having outer border four doors out of which one is always closed and there is entry from three other doors.

Temple surrounding is huge... It's an ancient temple and our regular summer visit while on vacation here. There's paid parking lot which also has washrooms and clean-up room. Nearby guest house is there. Near Temple there's place to keep ur footwear There's one way around the temple. Weekends are crowded .. to avoid heat better make it early mornings

Cheeyappara Waterfalls is a stunning sight right along the Kochi–Munnar highway — you can’t miss it. The cascading water over the rocks looks beautiful, especially during or just after the monsoon. It’s a great roadside stop to take photos, enjoy some fresh air, and grab tea or snacks from the small stalls nearby. Parking can get busy on weekends, but the view is absolutely worth the quick break. A perfect start to your Munnar trip!

This waterfall falls on the way to Munnar from Kochi airport. Since we visited during May when it started raining we happen to catch a glimpse of this waterfall enroute. Not a great fan of crowded place but only the waterfall was good. Since it was afternoon when we visited this place, there were a lot of visitors around which made it very unpleasant experience for us. We just halted for 5 mins , clicked few pictures and we left the premises as soon as we can. Tip: try to visit this waterfall early morning so that the place is crowdless and the experience is great. I wouldn't recommend anyone to spend and time here.

Recently visited Munnar and Cheeyappara Waterfalls did not disappoint! 🌊 Stunning waterfall, lush green surroundings, and a peaceful atmosphere - perfect for a relaxing day out. The cascading water and scenic views are a treat for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

Cheeyappara Waterfalls, located along NH 85 (Kochi–Madurai Highway) near Chillithodu, is one of the most beautiful roadside waterfalls in Kerala. The best part is that you don’t need to take a long trek to enjoy it—the falls are clearly visible right from the highway, making it a perfect stop for travelers heading towards Munnar. From Kochi, it takes about 2–3 hours by road (around 48 km before Munnar), and from Munnar town, it’s just a 40–minute drive. Public buses and cabs regularly pass this route, so reaching here is very easy. The waterfall cascades down several rocky steps, creating a refreshing and picturesque view, especially during the monsoon season when it flows in full glory. Entry is completely free for everyone, and there are small shops nearby for tea, snacks, and souvenirs. A wonderful roadside attraction, Cheeyappara Waterfalls is definitely worth a visit on your Munnar trip!

Visited on Chingam (malayalam month 1st day) sunday, so there was huge rush Usually there's puja that starts from 7am & last till 8am so one might experience extreme weight time when visiting. There's 2-3 parking place but might be crowded if visiting during peak hours & weekend day's. Especially morning times. There's lot of history and temple is well maintained. Washroom aren't available.

The temple is beautifully maintained, and the priests perform every ritual with great devotion. I felt a strong spiritual connection as if the Goddess herself was guiding and protecting me. It is believed that Bhagavathi here cures mental and physical ailments, and I truly felt her healing presence. If you are seeking blessings, inner peace, or spiritual strength – this temple is a must-visit. More than just a pilgrimage, it felt like a divine calling. I left the temple with a peaceful heart and renewed spirit.

Such a powerful temple, really loved the place. I reached around 6 AM, and all facilities like dormitory, bathroom, restroom and cloak room are available just nearby. Mobile phones you can keep in silent mode. From 7 to 8 AM, poojai will be going on, so you will have to wait around one hour in the queue.

Dwarapalakas are at the entrance of sanctum sanctorum. In sanctum sanctorum Sree Bhagavathi Amman is about 7 feet tall with 4 hands. The upper hands holds shankha and chalra and lower hands are in abhaya varada hastam. Idol of Mahavishnu made out of Saligrama is on the same pedestal along with Bhagavathi Amman and so the Deity is called Ammenarayana, Devinarayana, Lakshminarayana and Bhadrenarayana also. Along with Lakshmi & Narayana there are idols of Brahma, Siva, Ganapati (Ganesh), Subramanya, and Sastha on the same pedestal. In the thiruchuttambalam /outer praharam Kizhukkavu Bhagavathy temple, Sastha, Siva, Ganapati, Nagas and Kshetrapalakas and other Upa-Devas. Keelakarai Bhagavathy/ Keezhkkavu Bhagavathi Amman temple is about 200 meters from the main temple. Ayyappan temple on the way to the Keelakarai Bhagavathy Amman Temple. ARCHITECTURE The temple consists of sanctum sanctorum, ardha mandapam, Namaskara mandapam, Nalammbalam, thiruchuttambalam. Sanctum sanctorum is square in plan on a pada bandha adhistanam. The temple was constructed with stone from adhistanam to parastaram. A two tier nagara/ pyramidal Kerala style vimanam is on the sanctum sanctorum. The namaskara mandapam is with an elevated level platform and pyramidal vimanam. HISTORY AND INSCRIPTIONS It is believed the original temple belongs to 10th century CE, constructed during Chera period. Since the temple was built with wood, the temple underwent many renovations. The temple received contributions from, Cheras, Pandyas, Venadu, Travancore Kings, etc. KIZHUKKAVU TEMPLE On the eastern side of the temple pond stands the Kizhukkavu temple.The temple faces west (faces Chottanikara Bhagavathi temple). It is believed that the presiding deity was installed by Vilwamangalam Swamiyar. After the Athazha pooja (main pooja in the evening), the chief priest of the principal deity comes to Kizhukkavu to perform the famous and great pooja "ValiyaGuruthy" (great Sacrifice). The Guruthy is prepared in 12 cauldrons (huge vessel) and is performed at about 8.45 p.m every night. Those who witness the guruthy performance, which itself is awe inspiring and prolonged ceremony, finds it an experience which is indescribable. Being present here during Valiya guruthy on Fridays permanently cures women suffering from mental abnormalities like schizophrenia. An ancient 'Pala' tree standing on the northeastern side of the sanctum sanctorum is covered with long iron nails hammered on by haunted victims with their foreheads.

The Kerala Folklore Museum has an impressive and diverse collection that gives you a glimpse into Kerala’s culture and heritage. However, the space felt a little cluttered and tightly packed, which made it slightly overwhelming at times, with some of the displays feeling repetitive. The staff were courteous, though the focus seemed more on sales than on guiding visitors through the exhibits. Overall, it’s an interesting stop if you’re keen on history and art, but the presentation could be improved for a more enjoyable experience.

Visited out of curiosity and aesthetics, but it seems dusty due to lot of old art and crafts lying in that small space. Someone with dust allergy can avoid. Its a 3 floor building having collection of art, craft by historical artists. Paintings were only replicas not original. They even exhibit and sell some of the items. A tourist who came in asked about a krishna idol made of sandalwood. She replied that its just ₹1.95 lakh.. 😅🥹🥹 Charged ₹200 for entry & extra ₹100 for taking camera. There is parking. Just a 2 min walk will show vidya vihar road where u can find Mohanlal sir name on board of colony..

Amazing artifacts preserved by one person Mr. George J. Thaliath. The place has a wonderful collection, mostly idols and sculptures, along with many other fascinating items. I visited on a Thursday around 12 to 1 PM, and it wasn’t crowded at all. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art, culture, and history. You can also check out the Folklore Museum, it’s a great experience!

The Indian Folklore Museum in Kochi, tucked within Kerala Folklore Theatre, is a three-storey treasure trove of 4,000+ tribal and folk artifacts. Carved wooden masks, Kathakali costumes, shadow puppets, and ancient musical instruments vividly animate Kerala's oral traditions and rituals. Housed in a stunning 19th-century teak-meranti palace with intricate rosewood ceilings—architecture alone justifies the visit. The only negative point is that it is crammed with too many artefacts making it hard to walk around when there are many people visiting the place.

This is a private museum, which is run by a family trust near to Thevara. This is 3 story building, where a lot of exhibits and artefacts are placed. Even though they are telling that there are 45,000 items inside the museum, most of them are same. You can see the same things multiple times in different floors. Mostly the items are of ideals from temples exhibited here. You can see a lot of things which you can’t see in this era at temples.. even though there are a lot of items, the way they have kept is not so professional way as most of the items are almost like dumped on the floors and on the shelves They charge ₹200 per person and additional hundred rupees, even if you take photos on mobile. This seems to be bit exorbitant price. There are some items for sale as well.

One full day is not sufficient to view all the artifacts preserved here. The collection is so huge. The museum which is a private property is well maintained, beautiful and gives very good vibes. The only con is the Rs 200 per head, which is quite pricey.

The Paradesi Synagogue (also called the Mattancherry Synagogue) was first built in 1568 by Sephardic Jews (exiled from Spain and Portugal) on land granted by the Raja of Cochin. It has endured adversity: destroyed by the Portuguese in 1662, but rebuilt under Dutch rule shortly after. Over the years, it has become the only active synagogue in Kochi (“Jew Town”) out of originally several. It’s not just a place of worship — it’s a living monument to the Jewish presence in Kerala, preserving a rare architectural and cultural legacy. The synagogue is a whitewashed building with a pitched clay-tiled roof — designed to handle Kerala’s heavy monsoons. Clock Tower: One of the most distinctive features is its square, three-story clock tower, added in the mid-1700s by Ezekiel Rahabi. Each of its four faces has clock dials in different numeral systems: Hebrew, Roman, Malayalam, and Arabic. Floor Tiles: The interior floor is laid with hand-painted Chinese porcelain tiles, imported in the 1760s. Each tile is different — no two are alike. Ceiling: The tray ceiling features square panels with lotus patterns, reflecting a blend of local Kerala aesthetics. Bimah / Tebah: In the center, there is a lyre-shaped tebah (or bimah) made of brass-railed structure, raised and very elegant. Women’s Gallery: There is a second tebah on the upper gallery (for women), supported on brass columns. Ark (Heckal): The ark is carved from teak, housing ancient Torah scrolls. We just made it in time for the Kathakali show here, and I’m so glad we didn’t miss it. The makeup starts at 4:30 PM, and they do it right on stage so the audience can see the whole transformation — honestly, that itself felt like part of the show. The theatre is calm and welcoming, with devotional music and even a nice fragrance around, which made the experience feel special. Before the main performance, they explained the grammar of Kathakali — the expressions, eye movements, and hand gestures — and it was absolutely fascinating. The actual play started at 6 PM, and I was blown away — the makeup, the live instruments, the narration-singing, everything came together beautifully. You can really feel the love for culture in every detail. They also have a small shop at the back with souvenirs like oils, magnets, and antiques. Overall, it’s one of those experiences that stays with you — I’d definitely watch it again.

Fantastic experience at the Kathakali Centre. The staff are caring and committed to preserving the deep artistic heritage of Kerala, showcasing the various traditional artisans with respect and love. After 6 month wait, finally we could make it last week. We witnessed the Kathakali performance (including makeup) and Kalaripayatu(martial arts). Excellent performance by the artists in both shows. Good seating arrangements, light and sound. Ease of contacting and booking, courteous hosting and punctuality. Please make it day wise schedule because we wanted to watch classical dance as well but it was on a different day.

Its a must watch experience!!!! If you go early you can get a good spot near the stage where the artist do an interactive performance! All their efforts are so worth every penny. Absolutely loved it💚

It is a Must visit place in Kochi. A unique and good experience along the side of the coast. The fisherman will do a lot of fishing on the sea shore. The mechanism is quite simple yet thoughtful. A few places give a demonstration about how it's done, we got a chance to see the entire mechanism because we had joined a bigger group. Lots of variety of fishes are available of various sizes. You can also purchase along the side and get it cooked in your stay if they allow.

I am sure it will be pricey but should be okay for a one time experience. There is a sunset view point a little ahead of the Chinese fishing nets which you should visit. The ferry is awesome from Marine Drive (High Court Junction) which costs just 40 bucks. AC ferry which is very well maintained

We went to this centre to see the elephants with our family. We could tell it was a great place for children to spent time in. It's a govt funded training centre for rescue elephants. The place was very quiet with lots of beautiful trees and their canopy protecting from the heat. We went their in an afternoon and it was like trekking. We had to walk through the forest like place with a pavement road in the middle and after awhile we could see some areas with protected deers and elephants. It's a great place to spent time in if you want to relax with nature and hear the birds flying through the thick trees. We can also see some areas of a lake where the elephant bathe most days. There are bamboo seats everywhere to sit and look at the greenery. We also saw some tree houses . It's a great place to enjoy nature and get some fresh air.

Kodanad elephant park is situated near Perumbavoor on the banks of Periyar River in Ernakulam district .It's one of the famous elephant training centres in Kerala Located at the distance of 45 km towards the north east of Kochiit's a place where the newly captured elephants are kept for training. Earlier, elephants were captured in the Malayattoor forests and trained at Kodanad. Though capturing Elephants are banned now and Kodanadjust become the training centre for elephants. There are many walkways beside the river that give pleasant experience to the visitors. There is a small wildlife park at the centre which is a home of deer and other wildlife.

You have to walk down the road. The way to top is wheelchair accessible.

When I walked into Paliam Palace, it felt like stepping into another era. This wasn’t just the home of the Paliath Achans, the hereditary prime ministers of the Kochi Rajas—it was a seat of power, diplomacy, and influence in Kerala’s history. What struck me first was the architecture. The nalukettu design, with its central courtyard, sloping tiled roofs, and beautifully carved woodwork, has a charm that no modern building can match. You can almost picture the Achans walking through those corridors, discussing matters of state with the kings of Kochi. The palace has a unique story even in recent times. It was a private property until 2014, when the Government of Kerala took it over and began preserving it as a heritage museum. Then came the 2018 floods—the palace was submerged in water, and the damage was heartbreaking. Standing there, knowing that the same rooms I was in had once been filled with floodwaters, gave me a strange mix of sadness and respect. Sadness for the loss, but respect for how well the palace has endured and been brought back to life. Interestingly, not all of Paliam’s heritage has turned into a museum. Some other nalukettu houses nearby are still private homes, with families living in them. That contrast made the experience even more real—it’s not just history frozen in glass cases, it’s a legacy that still breathes. The ticket price is just ₹55 per person, and honestly, it feels like a gift. The guides inside are the true highlight. Their storytelling is so vivid that the palace comes alive in front of you. I loved how they explained not only the history of the Achans but also small details about the rooms, the architecture, and even the lifestyle of those times. Without them, it would have been just a building—but with their explanations, it became a journey into the past. As I left, I felt grateful that places like Paliam Palace are being preserved. It’s not just worth visiting—it’s worth remembering. If you have even the slightest interest in Kerala’s history, culture, or architecture, this is one place you should not miss.

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Paliyam Palace in North Paravoor, and it was a truly enriching experience. If you're someone who enjoys culture, heritage, and architecture, this place is a must-visit gem tucked away in Kerala. The ticket was quite reasonable — just ₹160 for 3 people, which gives access to both the main palace and the nalukettu (traditional quadrangle-style ancestral home). Upon entry, we were shown a short video presentation, which helped us understand the historical importance of the Paliyam family, their connection to the Cochin royal family, and their influential role in Kerala's political and cultural landscape. This context really helped us appreciate everything we saw inside. Photography is not allowed inside the palace, which actually adds to the sanctity and quietness of the environment. The place feels very serene and steeped in history, as if time slows down once you walk through the gates. One fascinating part of the palace is the Sapramanchakattil — a special cot made entirely of medicinal woods, used by the palace members for their health and well-being. It’s a rare and thoughtful aspect of traditional living that shows how wellness was woven into everyday life. The architecture of the palace is truly remarkable – intricately carved wooden ceilings, traditional tiled roofs, and unique design elements that reflect the craftsmanship of a bygone era. We even saw a specially designed toilet structure placed outside the main palace, which was fascinating in terms of ancient hygiene planning. There’s also a photo gallery featuring portraits and historical moments of key Paliyam family members, which gives a face and personality to the names we hear in Kerala’s history. Overall, Paliyam Palace is a quiet yet powerful place to experience Kerala’s aristocratic heritage, and a perfect spot for a half-day cultural trip if you're in or around North Paravoor. I highly recommend it to history buffs, students, and anyone looking to explore Kerala beyond its beaches and backwaters.

It's a one of a kind park with no cages shut. All the animals walk freely in the park, except of course the fishes. The trees are also unique with many of them made accessible for easier climbing. All of this was made possible because of one person, Mr. Varkey Veliyath who made all of this in his backyard. None of the birds, chickens, and rabbits seemed to be terrified of humans, which shows the love and care he has poured in. It was good to talk to him as well. Would definitely recommend a short visit.

Kauthuka park is a one of its kind places where you can visit in kerala. This is a miniature wildlife sanctuary where it has preserved culture and animals/birds/fishes It has a tree house which structure is made up of living trees and here, the trees which do actually walk on its own There is mother whom you meet who has adopted children who are other than its own (not talking about the humans 😏) Owner of this park has a big heart, he is so generous that he put extra effort for our group photo to make our experience memorable. We came across Kauthuka Park while traveling from Kochi to Guruvayoor and decided to stop by since we had some time to spare. With no expectations going in, we were pleasantly surprised by the experience — it was well worth the visit! The park is a 1-acre biological wonderland located right behind Mr. Varkey’s home, lovingly maintained by him and his wife. They personally take care of all the animals and plants, and it really shows in how clean, peaceful, and vibrant the place is. It’s a unique spot where you can see a variety of pets, birds, and plants, and get a glimpse into the harmony of nature. We spent about 45 minutes here, and it was a refreshing and heartwarming break in our journey. Highly recommended for families, nature lovers, or anyone passing by!

An excellent venture by a single person! The love of nature and the care of animals and birds can be felt. The atmosphere is so warm and positive ! The location on Google map is 500M away but the sign board will take you to the place; this is to avoid getting rerouted through pocket roads and mud roads(as per the owner).

Located near the Vadakumnathan temple, where the famous thrissur pooram festival happens. Temple is dedicated to Bhagavathy amman. There is a strict dress code for men in this temple. Men are not allowed to wear shirt and baniyan, also pants/ trousers are not allowed. Men should be bare chested and wear a veshti alone. But ladies don’t have a strict dress code. Temple area is very nicely maintained.

Dwajasthambam (Gold plated – Gold about 10 kgs), balipeedam and a 13 stages deepasthambam/ metal lamp are in front of the temple. Dwarapalakis are on both side walls of the entrance gopuram. In sanctum sanctorum the old idol of the Goddess Paramekkavu Bhagavathy was a wooden idol (daru silpa). A Panchaloka Vigraha was installed latter. Bas-reliefs of Durga, Aman, Arjuna on a Charriot from the epic Mahabharata, Maha Vishnu’s Ananta Sayanam are on the front wall of sanctum sanctorum. In sanctum Bhagavathy is in a sitting posture with right leg folded and left leg is hanging. Sree Bhagavathy is with 8 hands holding various weapons, like Silambu, sickle, Trishul, emathandu, Sword, Snake, kai vattala, etc. Vinayagar, Saptamatrikas, Shiva as Veerabhadra, Nagars, Brahma Rakshasa and Melakavu Bhagavathy (Originally this was the place where animals are sacrificed. After the ban of animal sacrifice, this Mela Bhagavathy temple was constructed) are in this temple. ARCHITECTURE The temple consists of Sree kovil, namaskara mandapam, nalambalam with entrance / exist on the 4 cordinal directions, pradakshinapatha, and thriuchuttambalam. The Sree kovil is rectangular in plan on an adhistanam. The namaskara mandapam is in front of sree Kovil. The temple walls are built with laterite stone plastered with mud and lime. A Kerala style guttur tiled roof pyramidal vimana is on the adhistanam. The Sree kovil walls are with mural paintings.

For Anna Prashan ticket they will allow Parents & kids only. If other they have to take special tickets. These tickets will be available inside the temple only. Special lane will be there to get these tickets and queue will start inside the dwajasthambam. Note: Avoid on Special day especially with kids.it will take 4 hours for Sarva darshan. Rather than simply resting, we longed for an experience that could blend relaxation with spiritual nourishment. Guruvayur Temple, one of the most revered shrines of Lord Krishna, immediately came to mind. The temple was just 95 kilometers away from Cochin, a drive of about 2 hours and 40 minutes through the heart of Kerala’s lush landscapes and vibrant villages. The thought of leaving behind the busy city streets of Cochin and immersing ourselves in the serene, devotional atmosphere of Guruvayur felt like the perfect way to celebrate the successful near-completion of our project. More than a break, it was a pilgrimage—an opportunity to seek divine blessings for the journey completed, and for the many yet to come.

Story behind Mammiyur which is interesting. The legendary history extends to the consecration of the famous Sree Guruvayur Temple - It was the final phase of Dwaparayuga. The great Deluge has submerged Sree Krishna's abode Dwaraka and the Lord, as a playful child, was frolicking on a banyan leaf tossed about by the surging waters. Devaguru Brihaspathi and wind god Vayu stumble upon him where upon the Lord himself handed over to them the idol of the Supreme Lord that he has been worshipping at Dwaraka, with instructions to have it installed and consecrated at an appropriate spot on earth. Guru and Vayu then descended on the banks of a sprawing lake Rudratheertha rendered holy by Lord Shiva who has been doing penance there for ages. Realizing the purpose of the visit Lord Shiva suggested the consecration there itself on the bank of Rudratheertha and obligingly moved over to a near by location on the other side of the Rudhra theertha. The place where Guru and Vayu consecrated the idol of Lord Krishna became GURUVAYOOR and the site that Lord Shiva chose for himself and his consort Sree Parvathy became Mahimayur, mahima evolving out of the status bestowed on Lord Shiva for voluntarily relinquishing his initial abode to accommodate Lord Krishna. Currently, some renovation and maintenance works are going on, but darshan is still smooth and well managed. The temple premises are clean, and the staff and devotees maintain good discipline. It’s believed that a visit to Guruvayur Temple is complete only after visiting Mammiyoor, so this is definitely a must-visit for devotees.

Balipeedam and Rishabam are in front of Shiva’s sannidhi and only balipeedam infront of Maha Vishnu sannidhis. In praharan Ganapati, Murugan and Ayyappan. The parivara deities’ sannidhis are in construction. ARCHITECTURE Both Shiva and Vishnu Temples are constructed in the same line facing east. A Rishabam and balipeedam are infront of the temple. Both temples are on adhistanam and temple was built like house with mangalore tiles roop. Thease two temples are again under a shed with metal truss.

Temple is under construction and we went by 11.05 AM but the sannadhi was closed but in internet it was mentioned as 12.30 PM. Very old architecture was missed out but the place has its own power and divinity.

Almost neat and clean but construction is going on inside the temple once it completed i hope it will be beautiful more than before ✨❤️

Miracle garden is only an art work structure situated inside kottakunnu park

Less area, but full of flowers and plants. well maintained and shaped plants. The mud house and ancient buildings are highlighted. We can spend some time there. One cafeteria also there will inside the garden.

Its a beautiful hilltop park for the entire family. Kids have many attractions like merry go round, toy trains, see-saw, slides, bouncing castles, 6D movie theatre, mirror maze, bumper cars etc. There's horror house, adventure activities like zip-line for adults and aquarium and plant nursery for the laid back people. There are widespread gardens where you can simply walk, or just sit and relax. There's a water fountain with laser show which is open on Saturdays and Sundays evening .

Use steps to reach there, the sides of that way are filled with different kinds of trees. You can feel the freshness of nature. If it's a nice breezy atmosphere you can stay at the top for hours. Enjoying the view of Malappuram city from the top.

Kottakkunnu is the one of the main tourist place in malappuram district... It's includes children park and amazing activities... There have ZIP LINE and ROPE CYCLING Big parking are... Ticket fee is 10/head Amazing children activities are available Inside of park many shops are available... But some shops are charging unreasonable prices for things.... Example if a drink have 40 rupees outside the park, but the shops in park was charged 60 rupees... Incase anyone want wheelchair... You can ask to securities... Then you can access for free... No charges applicable...

The place is serene. The authorities don't allow to take bath as in other falls. So don't plan to come here else check if they are allowing to reach the waters before Heading here

There's no waterflow and they wont inform you at the front reception. But there was a natural swimming pool and slide and we were happy and they said you cant bath there too because its FLASH FLOOD area.. Seriously disappointed..

I recently visited Adyanpara Waterfall, and honestly, it was a bit disappointing compared to how it used to be. The natural charm and flow of the old waterfall seem to be lost due to some recent changes. It feels like the essence of the original spot has been altered, and now, there's not much left to see or enjoy near the falls. However, on the brighter side, the children's park and play area on the other side are well maintained and offer a good time for families with kids. If you're visiting mainly for relaxation or fun with children, that part is definitely worth it. But if you're coming just for the waterfall experience, it might not live up to the memories or expectations.

Its a nice place for spending weekends. It's fun to bath, swim and have fun in the falls because there will be comparatively less crowd than other waterfalls. Its overall a nice place to be if you love nature.

Some shops tend to dispose of waste water and garbage carelessly, which affects the overall experience. Additionally, toilet facilities are quite limited, especially considering the large number of visitors the beach attracts. Overall, Kozhikode Beach is a great destination with amazing food options, but better waste management and improved sanitation facilities would make it even more enjoyable.

Our visit was on a rainy and windy afternoon so we could not spend much time. However we have been to the beach at different times and spend time. We enjoy the gigantic waves and the cool breeze. It is a beautiful beach and keep it clean as some areas were not. Sunsets and sunrise are amazing 🤩

I visited Kozhikode Beach early in the morning around 6 a.m. The place was full of life...many people were out for exercise, walking, sitting, and relaxing. Near the park area, some were practicing martial arts, others were playing football, and quite a few were just enjoying watching the activities. The atmosphere is vibrant and it’s a good spot to spend time. However, the beach is not at all hygienic. It is quite polluted, lacks proper walking paths, and is poorly maintained. With better cleanliness and care, Kozhikode Beach could truly become an excellent attraction for locals and visitors alike.
