It was my first time at a hot spring resort in China and I was blown away at the services and attitude of the people here. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful and the festive ambiance was amazing. There's one part of a building that's dedicated to catering to an all-you-can-eat festival style that's a definite must go! They have a karaoke bar that's opened until 2:30 am and although the selection for English songs isn't much, they do have some of the older English songs if you're into oldies. You're in luck if you know Mandarin or Cantonese! The karaoke staff were extremely friendly and amazing and I definitely think they're one of the hardest workers in this resort. The hot springs itself is amazing and the temperature is just right! The mood is fantastic and I really don't know what else I could say about this place that could show how much fun this place is. I would recommend staying for 2 days and 2 nights to be able to relax and enjoy everything.

Many different types of hot baths and other facilities to enjoy with. There is a basketball court nearby and the staffs are so nice and willing to lend us a ball, as the ball should belong to some staffs instead of the hotel. Despite the place being seemingly far from urban area, it is a fun and interesting place to visit overall.

This is a very interesting hot spring resort to stay for a day or two. They have a fun buffet with a whole street of food and snacks, once you pay for buffet place, all the food on that street is free. Their breakfast buffet and the restaurants are very good as well. The only problem is that it could be hard for foreign people to make a resevration there, their English website is not working. The resort package in ctrip is hard to understand for what the package was included.

I really enjoyed the time we spent here. This place is deceptively large. You really can spend >4 hrs if you wanted to have a thorough slow stroll around the place. Everything was pretty well kept, just don't expect any of the shopping and bling you have come to expect of China's large format shopping centres.

The front temple gate is probably the largest one (or the 4th in the world as heard). Clean and nicely designed, the park has half area in lake and long path to the temple tower and mountain in the back. Typically the playground around the huge gate are pretty much all for dancing people. For quiet and peaceful energy, walk further to inner gardens, bridges, and forest.

Here is my home town and I back once a year . It’s my favorite park in Shunde , Government operates it quite well, every season we can see different view , suit for the whole family spend time in the weekend for outdoor , or for evening walking after dinner, and for photography event. It’s a awesome place !

They have also preserved some old houses and some scholar's works. The goldfish in the pond are huge while the turtles are active.

Really worth the trip heading there and paying the tickets. I went during weekday, Monday. There literally few people there which made it easy for pictures and peace to take pictures and many more. Highly recommend to check it out. Lots of places to sit and rest. Lots of check points for cold ice creams or drinks and trash bins are in every corner.

Been here last August 2023, the garden was awesome. It feels like you travel back in time due to old Chinese architectures. Inside have souvenir shops so you dont need to go outside to buy gifts. Dont mind fixers outside who will offer you various things or services. But overall, I highly recommend it.

Sacred Heart Cathedral is the largest Gothic cathedral in China and over a 100 years old. Pretty impressive from the outside, up against the grey and the drab of modernity.....perhaps. Funny to see such a lovely Church in Communist China, and curious to see how the locals react - mostly with selfies and interest. Big crowds on the weekends - can go in and have a look - inside its ok, nothing amazing, the real draw is from outside. Worth a look.

I went there to attend Holy Mass last October 6, 2024 with our eldest sister as my guide. We attended the 3pm English Mass. Solemn, though acoustics is raspy. We can't clearly hear the Priest and readers' voice. Lots of local (Chinese tourists) there also. Some usually attend mass to experience it. Some insist to partake in the Holy Communion for the same reason which isn't allowed. Good thing, Parish staff are there to check among the tourists who are not Catholics. Some tourists are still hard-headed though. Aesthetics - wise, I am impressed by its exteriors and interiors. Amazing to note that it is one of the few Gothic styled church buildings built entirely with granite. If given another time to visit, I would love to do some en-plein air painting on site - if the parish admin allows.

The cathedral was nice, aka the Notre Dame of Guangzhou (similarly to that in Ho Chi Minh City) with the same architectural style. Unfortunately, on the day of our visit, the Cathedral was closed to the public for some private events and so we could not stand outside to take photos and read the intro from the information plagues. And along the section of the cathedral was small square with 2 rows of shophouses and cafes and right next was a long stretch of shophouses selling dried foods, toys and stationery which was very crowded, noisy and full of vibes but within the cathedral area, it was quiet and peaceful, what a contrast, all within 100-120m of distance!

This is absolutely a fantastic place to walk and get away from the city. There are nicely lined walking areas, very clean. Nice to take a book there and relax, watch locals, kids running around, maybe have a snack. Sometimes you find students who like to speak English. I found people super nice and friendly. Get away from the buzz and enjoy s lazy afternoon in this park. I should think this is a nice place for lovers.

I loved visiting this park! I wish I had allotted more time to spend here, it was super difficult to get around the park, but beautiful. The 5 rams statue, temples and ponds were so nice. There was so much to do and see. It's very well manicured. I wish the country had better animal laws/programs, I got into an argument with a man over a cat (someone translated) and there was no where for me to take the cat which still bothers me. I didn't hold that against the rating however.

The mosque is very fascinating place especially on Fridays. It was named after a great sahabah of the prophet Saa'd Bn Abi Waqas. After the Jumaat Prayer there is usually congregational dhikr. On Fridays, the Road to the mosques is usually filled up with Halal food vendors in various cuisine and flavours.

Best stadium you can get in China, with steep stand very close to action. Nice brand of football that most neutral fans would love to see.

A well maintained zoo with clean washrooms, numerous eateries, and facilities. They have a safari on wheels, a cable car that takes you across the zoo, and some live shows and parades too. The animals looked well taken care of, and it surely was an impressive zoo. Unfortunately, there aren't many options for vegetarians when it comes to lunch. Also, you aren't allowed to carry food inside, so plan accordingly. The pandas were super adorable, and it was overall a wonderful experience.

A very big park, clean and lots of toilets too. Unfortunately, we dont have sufficent time to cover the whole place even though we spend 3 hours there. Animals are happy, environment is great for them too. The safari houses so many koalas ( even more than in Sydney Zoo) that are active though is the begining of winter. Great experience and wish we have more time there.

We went there on a weekday, book our ticket via Trip and easy redeem through counter using passport. This Zoo is enormous and from what i saw..the animals are well taken care off, their exact animal habitat. There is cable car and train in the zoo too.

It takes a long time to reach the mountain top. Make sure you carry snacks with you and water bottle. Sometimes you may not find a place to buy water or any snacks. It's better to carry something with you. Also if you forget to get anything from home there's lot of shop which serves food at the beginning itself, make sure to fill your bag there. Since it's inside the park the things might be a little expensive. There are few stalls where they sell goodies. Also there are lot of activities available. There's bungee, there is zip line which said to be one of Chinas longest zip line, the price for it was 300 RMB. While descending take the cable car, it's around 25RMB. The feeling is surreal. also if your a student ask for any discount available. The journey is definitely worth it and I would love to do it again.

Stunning experience! The mountain is more like a huge hill, not a steek climb, though the walks are long which make them tiring (be prepared). Luckily there's cable lifts and mini buses that take you to different stops. Here and there you have beautiful temples where you can see the Chinese worship the different Buddha's; you smell the smoke sticks and hear the singing and drum bells. There are restaurants at the top, though there are no English menu's and the staff doesn't speak English neither (have a list of translations with you or find a bilingual guide in the environment). Toilets are available everywhere. There's kids playgrounds and a parrot paradise (caged). Timings and pricing: Climb to top: 90 minutes walk / 7 minutes cable (25 yuan up, 20 yuan down) Top to nearest temple: 15 minutes walk Bus: 10 yuan pp Chow mein: 25 yuan

A fairly large mountain that'll keep you occupied the entire day. Great for hiking, sightseeing or a casual stroll. The price of admission is $5 RMB/CNY. There are restaurants and stores located throughout the mountain so there is no need to worry about food or water, but feel free to bring your own. If you ever get tired or just want to, you can take the cableway or sightseeing tour up/down the mountain. My favorite part of the entire mountain would definitely be the pond filled with goldfishes.

China was my least favorite experience. Mainly because if the extreme culture shock. They don’t speak English and although they are trying to get more English speaking tourist in non-Americanized principalities; they’re nowhere there. Ok so no English anywhere. I get in line to purchase tickets the ticket lady says something in Mandarin and leaves. People leave the line but I decide to wait. Let me share what I did like about the Baiyan Mountains. It was gorgeous. I really enjoyed the parts and the sculptures. The ponds and the flower gardens. There were also traditional ornaments around the park. There were a lot of people at the park and while I did get a lot of looks no one bothered or harassed me. Obviously I stuck out like a sore thumb. This Chinese guy behind me steps out of line to read something on the board I presume. When the lady returns he tries to bust in front of me. I don’t have to speak another language to kill that which is what I did. Because I was press for time I thought taking the trolly up the mountain would be the best option. Waited 45 minutes for one of the trolleys to come back. It then went to a drop point and because NOTHING is in any other language than Mandarin, I had no idea what to do so I just got off. This is where my troubles began. There are not good directions in any language in the park. I got completely lost. I ended up leaving out an entrance I didn’t come through. I recommend going with a Chinese tour guide to enjoy the park. Otherwise go with at least 8 hours to get lost and be completely confused.

It’s more like a hill than a mountain since it’s not very elevated. Don’t expect to see snow. It’s a nice natural surrounding to have a hike but there’s almost nothing else. Some shops and eating places at the top so you won’t go hungry or thirsty.

A very magnificent view at the top, overseeing the the city of Guangzhou. We had buffet dinner at the rotating restaurant while overlooking the city. A good spread of variety however doesn’t match up to the price you pay. Nonetheless, an attraction worth going.

This building is one of the highest TV tower in the world with 604 metres tall. There is nothing around it, not suitable for Sightseeing at the round, if you would like to get in and go up to it so you will have to pay about 200 Yuan for a person during 1 hour at dinner time, it would be fantastic and you will see the view of all the city.

Beautiful place. One can have a view of the city from the Top. I went upto 107th floor and it was awesome feeling at such height. This tower has the height ever bubble tram and free fall at the top which costs an extra ticket. A must visit place whenever you're in Guangzhou, China.

A hidden jewel in Macau, stories had it that for 5 centuries, the A-Ma Temple in other parts of the world this diety is known as Ma Choa a toist diety had clung to the rocky slope of Macau where the shrine stands. A fragrant scent of incense and smells of ancient stone filles the air. Before venturing to the neon decor and the blistering sights of casinos, there was this: the salty breath of the South China Sea mingling with sandalwood smoke, a sanctuary built by grateful fishermen for the protector the honour as the goddess of the sea. Sunlight, filtered through banyan trees, dapples the granite flagstones. Worn steps lead past ornate pavilions with upturned roofs, their ceramic figures frozen in silent drama. The air is thick with devotion; the soft chime of a bell, the rustle of prayer slips tied with red string, the murmur of a name repeated—A-Ma, A-Ma. Here, hope is a tangible thing. It rises in coiled incense spirals towards the carved granite cliffs. It rests in the cupped hands of an old woman, her prayers as steady as the tides. This is not just a monument, but a living heart. It is the soul of Macau itself—resilient, enduring, and forever watching over the water, a serene guardian amid the modern city's roar. Macau Tower is absolutely breathtaking! The 360° panoramic view of the city is simply mesmerizing — from the glittering skyline to the serene waters, every angle is picture-perfect. As a bit of a daredevil myself, I loved the thrilling activities they offer — from the skywalk to the bungee jump, it’s an adrenaline rush like no other. Whether you’re there for the views, the adventure, or both, Macau Tower is a must-visit experience that will leave you in awe.

That's THE place with the most iconic view of Macau. Absolutely worth a visit albeit a little hard to get to. The entrance to the tower can be reached via the Macau Tower building through an underground passage. To this Macau Tower building, in turn, you also get via another underground passage. The tower itself provides besides the obligatory (and high-priced) restauration also some thrills: you either walk around the outside of the upper tower platform at 233 meters, do a bungee jump, or the opposite by climbing to the towers peak. All of theese activities are also quite pricey but really worth the money from my point of view.

Nice view with good food from 365 cafe. But the staffs are not friendly. We went there 30 pax for lunch. Restaurant is always busy and staffs are rushing to finish the food. Only few minutes they didn’t give us to pack things to leave. They come & shout to leave.

I visited the Ruins of St. Paul’s on a Wednesday morning, and even then it was already quite crowded with tourists. The site itself is iconic and definitely worth visiting at least once if you’re in Macau. The stone façade is beautifully preserved and stands out against the blue sky, making it a great photo spot. The surrounding area is lively, with lots of souvenir shops and food stalls to explore after your visit. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere felt vibrant and full of history. A must-see landmark that captures both the cultural and colonial heritage of Macau.

The Ruins of St. Paul’s is one of the best spots to visit in Macau. Even though only the front wall remains, it looks amazing and full of history. A delighful place to bask in Macau's history and sample its' gastronomic offerings The ruins of St Paul Cathedral is one of the destinations that make Macau's colonial history so palpable. Towering over the old historic quater, the religious place makes visitors feel the portugese influence had on Macanese culture. Walkways to the church are lined with "colononial european designed paths" with rows of pre-colonial style townhouses and shophouses. A lot of the vendors offer free tastes of biscuits, meat jerky, almond cookies and other portugese snacks. You can actually skip dinner or lunch if you go here before mealtime because of the continuous flow of free food samples. Overall, it was a great experience for my family and I. We had the perfect day of food, history and bonding at the Ruins of St. Paul. This is a must go for anyone visiting Macau. * there are a lot of eateries and convenience stores along the side streets *a couple of other churches that offer mass service are also situated around the area * some botiques of known brands can be found in this area too, nike, adidas,giordano etc * 5 stars for koi kei egg tarts. You can find their stalls on the path up tp the ruins.

This front of the building is beautiful, but the area is very very busy most of the day. If you want a clean image. I would suggest going after 10pm or just as the sun rises. Group tours are continuously arriving, and they make a lot of noise.

Many may say there is nothing much but we can see the government is trying to provide visitors with a fruitful and memorable experience by providing many posters talking about the history plus some exhibitions. It is worth going to take some photos and a walk down the shopping alley.

This iconic hotel was built in 1970. Today it is visible from the Macau Tower and stands tall amongst the other newer casinos. It is in need of updating and smells old inside. The staff are dressed in uniforms that look like bellhops. Worth a visit.

My mobile data got used up since this was the only place that is near, I tried to connect to their wifi and it was fast. Went inside the casino which was full of people playing. In their lobby there were art displayed. I really like the architectural design of the place.

The world's largest casino. 5 times bigger than the Las Vegas Venetian 🤯. Surely worth a visit to see the opulence and take a gamble if you are in Macao. No free alcoholic drinks for gamblers like in Vegas though. Managed to win and quit while ahead. You could easily spend a long time walking through the massive interconnected casinos!

My family and I spent an hour here just to try our luck at the slot machine and experience the casino. The place was humongous. The architecture and details were patterened after venice giving a european feel of the place. Despite the ultra luxurious design of the place, I was not comfortable to be in a place where people literally squander their money away. Honestly, the experience was so-so. Good for taking a few pics and seeing what the casino scene was all about. I saw a couple of friends fighting over what I can assume to be a money issue. Security was fast to act and escorted them away. Overall, if you are a casino goer, you will love it here. Otherwise, id just wander outside the casino to enjoy their replica of the venice canals.

I'm not an English-speaking traveler, but I still want to try a different style of commenting. The grammar might be off, and the meaning might be unclear, but let me give it a try! The most captivating part of The Venetian Macao for me was the shopping arcade, beautifully designed with a strong Venetian atmosphere. Walking through the mall felt almost like stepping onto the streets of Europe. The sky-themed ceiling is incredibly realistic, with lighting that mimics natural daylight and shifting shadows, making you slow down and take it all in. The artificial canal and gondola rides are iconic features, and the detailed building facades along the walkways make it a fantastic place for photos. There’s a wide range of shops—from luxury boutiques to everyday brands—and the layout is easy to navigate, making it a pleasant place to wander around. Even if you’re just here for shopping, the immersive, European-style ambiance makes it a great spot for strolling, taking pictures, and simply spending a relaxing afternoon. Although I haven’t stayed at the hotel yet, the shopping area alone is genuinely worth experiencing.

The museum and park of Sun Yat Sen memorial is a great and popular way to learn about the history of early China republic and Sun Yat sen himself and also looking at some cultural relics. There were many tour groups when we went on 19.4.2025 which crowded the photo spots, admission is free and there are shops near the entrances

An educational and historical place with plenty of information about the life of Dr Sun Yat Sen. There is also a reconstruction of his home where he was born.

One of the most important place in modern Chinese history, there are several exhibition halls here including Dr. Suen old house, neighbourhoods’s house as well as a huge exhibition hall. Apart from that, the museum also contains a demonstrating farm of the city of Zhongshan, showing how this industry developed in the city. It’s quite a good place to escape from city and its completely free entry.

This was a worthy visit, however on the day we attended we were not able to go into the Museum. This place is quite large so best to give it some time, can easily spend 3-4 hrs there.

Dr. Sun Yat Sen was a revolutionary ahead of his time: democracy activist, world traveler, and educated man. He is still well-known among Chinese the world over. His activities and life took him from China, to Honolulu for education, to the United States for a speaking tour, and also to Hong Kong and Macau. This museum is made of two parts: old folk structures from his youth and a modern building showing his community organizing during adulthood. Inside the folk houses: I learned that beds during his time didn't have mattresses or pillows-- one slept on a hard wooden bed with the head supported by a wooden or jade frame not much bigger than a chopstick holder. One of my favorite exhibits though was the bridal suite: two mannequins representing a newlywed husband and wife in red, and a sedan chair. There are also several display cases with models of what traditional Chinese feasts looked like, including winter festival, Ching Ming, wedding party, and Chinese New Year. Inside the exhibition building: photographs, newspapers, statues, and literature from Dr. Sun's activist years. A museum shop sold trinkets like pens andbkeychains; I bought a little flashlight using button batteries. I was disappointed to see the books were only in Chinese as I wanted to buy an English biography or memoir of his life.

Situated In Cuiheng Village, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, it is a memorial museum with the former residence of Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925) as the mainstay. A national AAAA tourist attraction, the museum was constructed in 1956, with an area of about 70,000 sqm, ti is composed of two exhibition halls – “Exhibition of Sun Yat -sen’s Life and Great Deeds” and “Exhibition of the Family Members and Descendants of Sun yat -sen”, in addition to the “Display Zone of Civilian Residences” and “Display zone of Agriculture”. In the surrounding areas of the museum, there are some important historical sites, such as the Feng’s Clan Shrine, Orchid Stream and the Ruijie Changgeng Memorial Arch-way where Sun Yat-sen once tried out dynamites.(copied from Google) I have been there 15/16 years ago. Lotus hill is located very near to Guangzhou city just a drive of 45 minutes, its a beautiful place with greenery flowers and lakes. There is also the gold statute of the Goddess of Mercy, which is the biggest in the world.lot of local people come here to offer prayer, its one of the best place spend a day in Guangzhou.

Really unprofessionally run golf club ,no one really speaks English and the whole time everyone is trying to scam money from you for services that aren’t really provided At one stage I was surrounded by 3 staff members demanding that I give them all the cash I had on me In the end I paid over $400 Australian dollars for a game of golf and to hire some clubs that looked like they came out of a thrift store at best as nothing matched I just had 11 random clubs in a bag with a broken Odessay putter and a caddy There is no ATM in the club and yiu can’t call a taxi to pick you up at the end either It was the worst golf experience I have ever had

I cant say I had a favourite for the day as all the sights had their own unique experience and I enjoyed each and every one of them. I really loved this old quarry and park - mostly because there was so many different things to see and experience, and it was nice to walk around on the hot day it was.
