Sights & Landmarks
Coro Field is a new Japanese-style organic agro-tourism site located in Suan Phueng, Ratchaburi Province. It is minimalist in style and offers visitors the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the natural beauty of the area. There are also workshops for family with kids that offer them a chance to create their own plants with stones provided. The cafe serves imported melon juice as well as other fruit juices.
The day we visited there was no electricity, so the cafe was not open. On the way back we did buy some pieces of melon and a slushie. It was delicious. If we ever come back again, I certainly will visit the cafe again.

Good farm style cafe with focus on melon and sweet potatoes. Many DIY options for kids and garden to wander around. Worth stopping for good dessert too.
Petch M — Google review
Good location, about 15 km from resort places. Very sweet and fresh melon. Variety menus, pizzas, lasagna, salads, fruit smoothies, pastas, and good desserts from melon. Recommend for family with little kids. Farm was closed, not allowed to visit.

This is a Japanese conservation themed cafe. The menu consist mainly of Melon themed drinks and dessert. The atmosphere of the cafe is calming and super cozy. Suitable for couples going for tea. There is also freshly cut melons for sale as well. The melons are sweet and fragrant. Good place to visit.
Choong C — Google review
Great roadside stop!!!! Enjoy some delicious refreshing frozen yogurt and the food is very good too. Stroll the farm field area and enjoy. We came for the melon and sweet potato frozen yogurt. However we also ended up buying some fresh mulberry and other items at their store. I highly recommend giving this place a try!!!

This place is 150km or 2 hrs drive from Bangkok in the Ratchaburi province. The farm claimed to be practising organic method of farming. The main fruit cultivated here are the Japanese Tomi melon and the tomatoes. This place has also a market selling the fruits as well as the products made from the fruits such as melon jam, tea, sauces, drinks like melon shake melon ice cream etc. They also sell the mascot of the farm. There’s the bakery/cafe where you can have your meals. If you are interested to plant mini tree in a glass it, they have such facilities too. Overall a nice place to visit. I enjoyed their ice cream. Unfortunately, the farm planting the melon was closed temporarily for maintenance when I was there.
Kelly C — Google review
The place is family friendly. The kids can enjoy marking farm crafts such as make their own plants bottle or shopping bag. Harvest melons and enjoy a melon meal. Really very good for photo taking. Food their is organic and really yummy. Even my eight months son take a lot of cut melons. I think we can go back their when the sweet melon are at the season of harvest.

Damnoen Saduak Floating Market

Mentioned on
+65 other lists
Floating market
Nature & Parks
The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a historic and bustling marketplace where vendors sell their goods from wooden boats. Visitors can take a local long-tail boat to explore the market and shop for souvenirs. The market is known for its unique feature of being situated along a railway, where vendors and customers make way for passing trains before resuming business as usual.
What a wonderful experience we had. I had wanted to experience a floating market and we took the opportunity to come to the oldest one. My 91 year old father was heading back to the States and we took him here along with the the railway market. It was a fun and exciting experience.
Jeff H — Google review
A lively and colorful market with a great atmosphere and plenty of photo opportunities. It’s quite touristy, but still an interesting experience to see the traditional floating stalls and local products. Best to visit early in the morning before it gets too crowded. Overall, worth seeing at least once for the unique setting and local charm.
Nicolas — Google review
4th October 2025: Mildly interesting experience, there are far better markets in the streets. We went as part of a tour. I wouldnt want to go out of my way to visit this place, as its a pure tourist trap. We did go at the start of the season so it wasn't too busy. Boats seem to steer you to their preferred vendor, and everything is alike. Still each to their own, and a different experience.
Alan H — Google review
Visiting the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The small boat cruise takes you along a lively waterway lined with countless shops selling a wide variety of local goods, souvenirs, and Thai delicacies. It’s fascinating to see how vendors sell directly from their boats, creating a vibrant atmosphere that perfectly captures the charm of Thailand’s traditional floating markets. The entire experience feels authentic and distinct — gliding through narrow canals surrounded by colorful stalls and local life. There are plenty of snacks and desserts to try along the way, including mangies, sticky rice, and other traditional Thai treats that make the ride even more enjoyable. For those looking for something unusual, you can even take a picture with a snake handled by locals offering photo opportunities. And if you’re lucky, your boat driver might take you a little farther from the main market area, where you can spot a wild monitor lizard resting near the water — a surprising and exciting highlight of the trip. Overall, Damnoen Saduak Floating Market offers a fun, scenic, and culture-filled experience that’s great for tourists who want to see a different side of Thailand’s local life. It’s definitely a must-visit for those who enjoy sightseeing, trying local food, and discovering the country’s traditional market culture in a picturesque floating setting.
Christoffer B — Google review
This is the original floating market that is a couple of hours south west of Bangkok. Worth a visit if you have a day or two in Bangkok with nothing much planned. Probably best planned as a day trip paired with the Maeklong Railway Market. There are good and souvenir shops that aren't on boats as well so there is a variety of choices.
Chris K — Google review
This place is full of traditional charm. I really enjoyed the local meals and bought many souvenirs. The water area could be cleaner to make it more attractive and eco-friendly. I’ll definitely bring my friends here — it’s one of the best places to visit in Bangkok!
Min W — Google review
Colorful floating market with many boats selling local food, fruits, and souvenirs. Interesting place to visit if it's the first time for you. Best to go early before it gets crowded. 800 baht for row boat 2 person.🙂
Thi L — Google review
A famous and picturesque floating market. It’s worth experiencing to appreciate how trade used to take place in this area in ancient times. There are some amazing boats—especially the ones selling fruit—but most of the prices are inflated, and many of the items for sale can be found in any souvenir shop.

Tiger World Thailand

Mentioned on
1 list
Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Tiger World, a zoo that opened in 2013, offers visitors the unique opportunity to interact with hand-reared rescue tigers. Various packages are available for feeding and spending time with the tigers, including inside their cages. The friendly staff provides clear instructions and takes many photos to capture memorable moments. However, the small size of the zoo and lack of adequate shade or trees may pose discomfort for both visitors and tigers during hot weather.
A 2 hour drive from Bangkok, it’s must go place for those who love to get close to a tiger. It’s super safe clean and importantly these cats are well trained from the cubs. For kids they have tiger cubs as well. Once in a life time experience for those watched these magnificent animals in Discovery & Nat Geo.
Balaji S — Google review
Look, I had a great experience with the tigers. My friend and I went and loved seeing/interacting with the tigers. The staff feeds them chicken the whole time during the shoot and distracts the tigers behind the camera using props & they were kind staff. Didn’t seem like the tigers were sedated (but with saying that, all the tiger tourist attractions places say they don’t sedate but really do) so I’m not entirely sure as I’m not a tiger/vet expert and don’t know signs of sedation… but the tigers were quite active so I think that says something, and I personally think the salivation is from them being fed.. just like how dog drools when foods around. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because I was quite sad with how small the enclosures are for these beautiful creatures, and most were locked in small cells, did make me quite sad walking past them. I asked if they take the tigers to a more bigger area someplace else where we couldn’t see that had more trees and room for them to roam around, but they said no. They have 21 tigers at the facility. Many tigers but small enclosures. Other than that, tigers definitely weren’t chained from what I could see and I didn’t see any “abuse” whilst I was there. I tried my best to find the most ethical tiger place in Bangkok, and after a bit of research tiger world Thailand seemed like the better one. I’m just glad they’re not chained, drugged up where they could barely walk and not being abused like other places. Just giving an honest review.

I cannot put into words how amazing this place is! We did the Premium Gold Package. They picked us up from our Hotel in bangkok. They gave us SO MUCH time with the Tigers. The staff was VERY sincere. The Tigers look happy, and healthy!!!. I could go on and on. Literally a once in a lifetime experience! The Photographer is so amazing, and professional. My girlfriend, and I felt very safe! I Literally can not speak highly enough about this place 10 out of 10 recommend! Don't miss out!

5 stars!! This was an amazing experience! The tigers are very well cared for and they make sure you are safe the entire time. They capture amazing photos for you!
Crystal A — Google review
Absolutely reasonable prices. The establishment is very clear with their policies on how to safely interact with the tigers. Also, there are 3 employees feeding the tiger bites of raw chicken the whole time you are in there - safe to say that tiger is distracted. They have a very professional photographer included to take pictures. He has a nice camera and he also clips your phone to a camera mount to record you while he takes the photos. We got the standard package - three poses for each of 3 different positions (9 different photo scenes). The photographer takes a lot of photos at each position and transfers all the stills to your phone at the end (included in the base price). They also have a high quality printer to print you a letter sized photo and frame it. For our package, one framed print was also included. At no time was there sales pitches, which was very nice. We had a ton of fun chilling with these tigers!!

5 Stars – Incredible Experience at Tiger World! 🐅🌟 Visiting Tiger World was truly an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Their customer service was absolutely top-notch – friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about what they do. What really stood out to us was how well they care for their tigers. It’s clear that the animals are not just well looked after, but truly loved. The staff were knowledgeable and took the time to share interesting facts, answer our questions, and explain how they ensure the health, safety, and happiness of each tiger. They also went above and beyond to make sure our visit was special. Whether it was taking extra time for photos, helping us feel safe and comfortable, or just sharing their love for these majestic animals, they exceeded all expectations. You can tell Tiger World is run by people who truly care about both their animals and their guests. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable wildlife experience!
Priscila M — Google review
This was a bucket list for me. Phenomenal experience. The tigers are well taken care of. They say they don't sedate them so I'm just believing what they say. It didn't seem like they do though. They raised then from cubs. Nonetheless the workers were polite and very helpful with posing. 10/10 I recommend.

So much to see away from City. Took boat ride saw fireflies, it costs 1hr 100baht .Tourists area ,prices are slightly higher.
Sandie D — Google review
The pre-Covid bustling narrow walkways along the canal of Amphawa are (almost) empty. This “floating market” was very popular to weekend crowds from Bangkok, with lots of cute little cafe’s and art shops lining the canal. But, according to the owner of the little resort we stayed, it is this Bangkok crowd that is now staying away. A bit of a chicken and egg story. No shops no tourists & no tourists no shops. It is still fairly busy in the narrow street starting from the temple, going across the walkway bridge to the narrow street on the south side of the canal, but that part does not have the bustling evening floating market vibe. Foreign tourist are still there, but mostly from China.
Peter Z — Google review
Once upon a time, here thrived a vibrant floating market. Nowadays, it's transformed into a serene riverside marketplace, where the sight of boats peddling wares is scarce. ⚠️ Note: This market operates exclusively on weekends, in the afternoons and evenings. Visiting during weekdays or mornings is futile. Weekend mornings are tranquil, as vendors prepare their stalls for the bustling afternoon crowds. Catering primarily to locals, this market offers a refreshing escape from touristy hubs, albeit with minimal foreign visitors. Don't anticipate a bustling river scene; instead, explore the myriad of shops lining the area's shores. The absence of tourists also reflects in the pricing, where a satisfying meal can be enjoyed for 40 to 50 baht. While an authentic experience, this market appears to be gradually fading into obscurity. ℹ️ For more captivating photos and videos of our adventures, follow us on Instagram and TikTok at @theworldchasers. Not a bad place to chill but it a half floating market where the some vendors are floating and the visitors are on land. It is more like a night market. Do not be misled by the name. Visited the vendor in the picture, ordered Pad Thai, pleasantly surprised at the taste for the low cost.
Gezhi W — Google review
Not too crowded on weekdays! Chill place to walk around, their food is average for me but some of them taste great like Kyua Tew Ruea aroi mak ! People there are so friendly!

Very interesting night market. Seems to be very safe. Spend a couple of hours walking around. Excellent street food vendors with very reasonable prices. We ate maybe at 15 different places trying all kinds of local Thai food. Definitely worth the visit.

We arrived about 13:00 on a Wednesday, and we were disappointed to find the floating market was completely closed, no boats, and many stores around it were also closed.

Stopped here for a short snack and to watch the tourists. Food is average and nothing special. Prices are around 40 for each, sticky rice is 50. One woman is singing the menu to get attention. Pad Thai was ready immediately, the dumplings took 10 minutes.

Avoid at all cost, better still avoid this restaurant due to the service. 1. Mama Fried (tasteless and noodle overcooked), 2. Tofu Soup (pork still raw when served) 3. Pork noodle (edible if add more chilli powder) 4. Tomyam Gong Noodle (edible with fish sauce) 5. Omelette (tasteless but edible)

Tham Khao Luang is a temple-like cave nestled in the mountain, accessible by either walk or drive. The cave boasts several Buddhist symbols and a reclining Buddha, with natural light pits and artificial lighting providing a serene ambiance. Visitors need to park at the nearby temple for free and pay an entrance fee of 10 baht per person plus ride ticket fee of 15 baht regardless of nationality.
A nice cave to visit. The way down is steep. I would say it's like walking down a four storey building. If you are not in good health, it may not be a good idea to visit. The cave is safe. It is big inside. A few bats are perched on the ceiling. There is a gift shop, restaurant, and beverages available onsite. Parking may be a challenge during busy days.

A beautiful and peaceful cave with many Buddha statues inside. The best part is the sunlight that shines through the top of the cave — it looks amazing and great for photos! The cave is clean and quiet. It’s a good place to visit if you want something calm and special. Just be careful with the monkeys outside — don’t bring food or they might come close. Only 2 hours from Bangkok, easy for a short trip. Worth a visit! 📍Free entry | 📷 Best time: Morning (for sunlight) |

It's nice, when you like caves and Buddha's. The cave itself has mostly one relatively big "room" with a nice hole in the ceiling, where the sun shines through. It's a pretty sight. Aside from that there are a lot of Buddha statues in the cave. All around it is not super special, but since it is only 10 Baht, and really not far from the centre of Phetchaburi, I think you should give it a try, when you are around. Oh there are apes here, too.
Robin H — Google review
If you ask me whether it’s worth travelling for 3 hours from Bangkok to this cave I think it’s not worth it at all. Probably I have seen nicer and more majestic cave, but anyhow for those who still wish to come here can always do so as this is based on my personal view. In the morning I took grab from the hotel to Mo Chit 2 / Chatuchak bus station. Went to the ticket counter to enquire for the bus ticket. From Mo Chit / Chatuchak bus station to Phetchaburi bus station and the ticket price is 246 baht. Ticket counter will require you show them your passport if you are a foreigner. Return from Petchaburi bus station to Mo Chit 2 / Chatuchak bus station is cheaper at 140 baht. Entrance fee to the cave is only 10 baht.

Tham Khao Luang is a hidden historic cave that beautifully blends natural wonder with cultural and spiritual significance. Located in the hills of Phetchaburi, the cave houses a serene temple filled with Buddha statues, including a large reclining Buddha, all illuminated by natural light streaming through a large cave’s opening above. It’s a peaceful spot that appeals to a wide range of visitors — whether you're drawn by the natural cave formations, the historic royal connections, or the spiritual atmosphere. The site is well-maintained, and the walk down into the cave is manageable for most visitors. Highly recommended for those looking to explore a lesser-known but deeply meaningful destination in Thailand.

Phra Nakhon Khiri Historical Park, also known as Khao Wang, is a historic palace complex completed in 1860 and situated on three elevated peaks. It was built by King Mongkut as a retreat from Bangkok and features a mix of European, Thai, and Chinese architectural styles. Today, it houses a national museum with royal belongings.
I liked this place a lot! One of the best locations I visited so far, at least for me. It is a former kings palace with a nice garden and a stupa and a buddhistic temple all in one area. The ticket is 200 Baht, which is fine for the amount of things you get to see. You are not allowed to take pictures inside the palace though, but in my eyes that is no problem, since the outside was far more picturesque. For the temple you need to wear appropriate clothes, but they give you some for free, should you need them. The garden is green and has all sorts of animals/insects, foremost the apes, of course. You need to be a bit careful, since they might try to steal your food or your drinks, but they did not harm me or were aggressive in any way. Just hold your food/drinks tight. From the three elevated places here you will have an excellent view of the city and the surrounding lands.

We haven't visited this historical park in years and we were blown away by how organized this park has become. Theres even the slow cable cars to take visitor to the top of the moutain. Theres staff at every corner of the park to provide information and history behind the late King rama IV and V summer palace. We didn't have the chance to visit and explore all the building but will ensure to do so next time

I’m not sure why I’ve never heard of this place before it was so interesting! I took my Thai friends and they had not heard of it either, but we were all pleasantly surprised. If you like photos there’s so many photogenic spots. If you like hiking it’s a great walk around with a cool view. If you like history it’s very interesting with a lot of preserved items and areas. There’s something for everyone and the look out with the building in the back is just so beautiful! We hate monkeys, but they didn’t bother us, just know there are several on the grounds. There’s also some great local restaurants in the town if you need a bite after.

A nice place to visit if you are into sightseeing. Tickets for thai are 80 baht and 280 for foreigners. They have the old house of the king that you can enter. They will give you a plastic bg to put your ahoes inside. You are not allowed to take pictures inside the rooms so you will have to vist by yourself.

Wow, what an amazing place. The climb and ascent are a bit difficult, but the place is amazingly beautiful and worth a visit. Keep in mind that the tour will take two hours, but it is totally worth it. In addition, there are monkeys everywhere, and the monkeys from the compound to the environment are crazy. Worth a stop and a visit

This is where Siamese Kings (Rama) 4 and 5 had a vacation palace. Please be aware the entrance fee is actually 200 ThB and not the 40 ThB the official website claims. There is no video or photography allowed inside the palace and plenty of staff inside to enforce it. If you are a common tourist, probably not worth the price. But if you are a historical buff then maybe. Also it is a long walk 300 meters to the museum. But they do have a cable car for a small fee for those who cannot walk. I would have given this place 3 stars but only gave two just because of some of the aggressive monkeys on the walk to the museum. Suggest carrying a long stick to keep the monkeys at bay.

Phra Nakhon Khiri or Khao Wang was originally a palace of King Rama IV. It is located at Klong Krachang Sub-district, Mueang District, Phetchaburi Province. It is situated on top of three consecutive peaks, with the highest peak being 95 meters high. It was originally called “Khao Samon” (Khao Saman). On the eastern shoulder of the mountain is a temple named “Wat Samon”. In 1861, he named it Khao Maha Sawan, which was later changed to Khao Mahaisawan. King Rama IV ordered the construction of a palace on Khao Mahaisawan in 1859. Chao Phraya Si Suriyawong (Chuang Bunnag), who was later granted the title of Somdet Chao Phraya Borom Maha Si Suriyawong, was the supervisor of the construction, and Phra Phetphisai Srisawat (Thuan Bunnag) was the supervisor. When construction was complete, he named it “Phra Nakhon Khiri”. King Rama IV was very fond of the beautiful weather and scenery of Phetchaburi. He had resided at Phra Nakhon Khiri many times throughout his reign. During the reign of King Chulalongkorn, he ordered the renovation of Phra Nakhon Khiri to be used as a place to receive royal guests from Germany. After the reign of King Chulalongkorn, no monarch had resided at Phra Nakhon Khiri again. Until the reign of the present King, he had the idea to restore and renovate. The Fine Arts Department announced the registration of Phra Nakhon Khiri as an important national ancient site, carried out the renovation of various royal buildings, and announced the establishment of the Phra Nakhon Khiri National Museum on August 27, 1979 as a memorial museum. All royal utensils received back from the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Ministry of Interior were registered as antiques, conserved, and displayed inside the Phetphumiphairot Throne Hall and the Pramot Mahaisawan Throne Hall. .......... • Ticket 200 baht • Cable Car 50 baht up & 50 baht down(you can choose to walk up or down the hill without cable car) # There're many wild monkeys around the park. Please keep your food inside your bag. # No camera is allowed inside the Museum(Here I've uploaded some of the interior pictures from their official website. You can also buy their book at the information center.) * Overall worthy for a visit because the real beauty of the scenery is what the camera or pictures couldn't capture. You need to see it through your own eyes.

Nice cable car ride up to the historical residence of king Rama. A look into the past to see how they lived, well preserved furniture and home, a good day out😊

Phra Ram Ratchaniwet (Wang Ban Puen) is a former royal palace in Phetchaburi, Thailand, which now operates as a museum under the Royal Thai Army. The palace was commissioned by King Rama V in 1910 but was never seen by the king himself due to his early passing. Designed in European style by a German architect, it served as a retreat during the monsoon season.
Entry is free. The double spiral staircase, the upper staircase hall, and the dining room are worth travelling a long distance just to see. They blew my mind. What an awful pity this palace isn't better furnished and that the demesne/grounds has been utterly destroyed by the dreadful bland concrete buildings all around it. Without a doubt, this was one of the main things I enjoyed visiting in this beautiful city.
Finbarr M — Google review
This former palace is unfurnished, except the Dinning Hall downstairs and the Study Room upstairs. There are signs indicating which room is which but you will have to use your imagination to guess how beautiful this residence might have been in the past.

We went there on the way we leave Hua Hin to the north, it’s worthy to visit if you’re nearby, we were the only visitors in the morning! No entry fee and no photos inside the building!

Royal mansion built by Rama V, well worth a visit. Entrance is free, but the mansion is inside a military base, just leave your driving license as a deposit in exchange for a parking pass. Careful when using Google Maps to navigate, it may direct you to a small street on the opposite side of the canal. navigate to the entrance at this marker instead: https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZGuGo4LCgxy1BEph6

A very interesting palace built for Rama 5 in 1915 by a German architect. The interior and exterior is all of German style. You can go inside and walk around and see the king’s and queen’s bedrooms and the prince’s and princess’s bedrooms the toilets and king’s office. Great place for a quick stop off.
Kevin G — Google review
Considering this 110-year-old palace was by turns used as a barracks and a school, it has been well restored. The combination of German architecture and art deco interior are interesting and in places beautiful, though the cherubs on the staircase look a tad malevolent. Sadly, photography indoors is now forbidden.
Alasdair F — Google review
This is commonly known as Ban Puen Palace, and is a former royal palace. Now it serves as a museum and is operated by the Royal Thai Army. It is free admission. Very elegant, 20th century European-style palace, with beautiful furniture and decoration throughout. Outdoor gardens are very well-maintained as well. Historical events are listed in many areas, but some are written only in Thai language. You must go through the gate manned by an Army soldier, and leave your ID/passport in exchange for a parking permit. No photos are allowed inside the building, and the washrooms are outside in a separate building. (I recommend bringing your own tissues, as they do not provide them)

Fisherman's Resort Haad Chao Samran is a well-maintained lodging with a beachfront restaurant and bar, along with an infinity pool and spa. The resort offers direct access to a clean beach, two beautiful pools on-site, and delicious breakfast buffet options. Guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere and friendly staff while being within walking distance of the lively village with its small restaurants and food stalls.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The bungalows are spacious, very clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant serves decent food, and the beach is clean, perfect for long walks. They also offer an external laundry service at a reasonable price. The nearest 7-Eleven is about a 10-minute walk away. The resort and area is very quite. Nothing much going on there. Exactly what we were looking for. Thank you! If we had one suggestion, it would be to offer motorcycle rentals, so guests can explore the surrounding areas on their own.

The service is epic. 5 star kind of service. However, the water in the room isn’t hot… the temperature is like the water in the pool. But the room is tidy. And the pool, there isn’t food or drinks served by the pool, it seems like the facilities in the pool area is outdated too. The breakfast selection is very limited; not sure if it’s because of the low season. Overall it’s a nice weekend getaway but next time I would probably go to huahin and pay a much more to enjoy the better facilities there. The highlight is the service at the reception at the restaurant.

Had a lovely 3-night stay here recently. Great deal for a villa, which was more than ample for me and my partner. Very clean. Comfy bed. Powerful air-con! Stocked with plenty of bottled water. Breakfast was good and dinner was excellent. We sat on the deck overlooking the beach and sea. It was magic. Service was friendly all around. there are other restaurants and a 7-11 within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommend.
Tommy S — Google review
The room was pleasant , comfortable and clean. The staff was nice, friendly and generally service-minded. The breakfast was satisfying. The small restaurant adjoining the beach had a nice peaceful ambience to it. Food offerings are rather limited. Somewhat disappointing was the corkage charge - THB500 - which costed more than the duty free wine I brought along. So, I ended up going to a very impressive and reasonably priced restaurant less than a kilometer away, and spending only about THB1,000 for a sumptuous fresh and delicious seafood dinner for two - with no corkage charges. Maybe the management has its reasons, but i feel the management could increase sales (accommodation and food) by not charging or minimally charging hotel guests.

What a wonderful place off the beaten tracks. If you are looking for a peaceful environment, this is it. Well maintained classic Thai hotel in a garden setting. Just sit back, relax and watch the tees and birds. Nothing much around, but perfect to wind down.

I've been considering visiting for many many years but always visited Hua Hin to entertain my kids, but as they are now adults, we finally visited and I now wish the wife and I had visited years ago. Haad Chao Samran is a lovely beach area with a selection of hotels. I'd be surprised if there's better than this one. Lovely villa bungalows. Quiet and private with good facilities. The villas and the landscaping reminded me of Samui. Ate dinner in the hotel twice, food was very decent. Had a lovely time and hope to visit again (probably when the awful Rama 2 roadworks are completed).

I must say, it is a really nice, quiet and relaxing resort. The room that we stayed in was Garden Villa. It was super comfortable, with a bed , pillows , shower, and toilet. The aircon works so well. Even it was so so hot outside. It cools the room so fast. The swimming pool was calm and relaxing. The beach was so clean and wide. We like this place. Hopefully, we will be back again soon. Ps. There are many restaurants around too.

Kaeng Krachan National Park, established in 1981, covers a vast 2,914 square kilometers of forested land and is home to diverse wildlife and rivers. The River Phet originates from this park and flows into the Gulf of Thailand at Baan Laem. The park has multiple entrances that are quite far apart from each other. It's recommended to navigate to Ban Krang Camp for a more beautiful experience rather than the touristy headquarters area.
An awesome national park which is not far from Bangkok. There are many kinds of wild animals here including black panthers, leopards, elephants, ant eaters, etc. Of course, we haven’t seen those animals why we did hiking on the natural trail here. However we saw some foot prints though. We love the trail here because we have to walk across the stream several times. It is really fresh and nice. I wear a pair of water hiking shoes which is very practical for a trail like this. This trail is only 2.5 kilometers. We start from the tourist center at Baan krang (บ้านกร่าง) and finish at stream 1 (ลำธาร1). Our driver will drive there and wait for us. The minivan could not go further because the car will need to run across the stream. Only SUVs or trucks could go. There is no phone signal here, not from True. Dtac or even AIS. So it is not possible to call our driver at all. We just have to finish the trail. There are many beautiful butterflies here. Many signs tell all drivers to drive slowly and please avoid killing these butterflies. We visit here around the end of July. We enjoy our hike very much. It is not difficult at all. No steep path , just flat trail.

Really enjoyed the experience. Butterflies were great. I wanted to do more hiking but realised the hiking and waterfalls you need to go further up for and you can't just do it without the proper vehicle so if you want to hike, make sure you make arrangements to go up further into the park, get permits and probably stay overnight in the park. Maybe that's just my experience or I didn't do enough homework prior to the trip but it wasn't as easy or permissible as I expected. You'll probably need a guide and to hire a 4 x 4 if you don't already have one. But well worth it. Butterflies, monkeys, bird life that we saw was worth it. The lake was magnificent! So scenic. Great place to explore. So much to see

Enjoyed the walk. It can get quite hard as some spots require climbing over rocks with the aid of built-in ropes. The first levels are an easy walk, and the further levels are more difficult. Good small waterfalls to see, lots of fish and butterfly's along the way.

Pansook Food and Farm is a delightful destination for animal lovers, offering the opportunity to interact with ponies, rabbits, sheep, and fish. The whimsical buildings give the place a fairy tale-like atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy feeding the animals and even try their hand at archery. The entry fee is quite affordable and includes access to the farm's shaded paths.
Love this place. It gathered farm, restaurant & huge souvenir shop. You can spend few hours there. 50 baht for adults, 30 baht for kids for farm entrance fee. There has rabbits, ponies & sheeps.

This was our first time visiting 1000 Sook Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. When we arrived, there were three tour buses unloading, so it was a bit of organized chaos at first. However, once the groups moved on, the atmosphere became peaceful and enjoyable. The farm is incredibly photogenic, with hundreds of Instagram-worthy spots throughout the grounds. Everything was immaculately clean, and the animals looked healthy and well cared for. From petting zoos and archery to carnival-style games, there was truly something for everyone. This place would also be a stunning venue for a wedding or any special event. A really nice surprise was when we were leaving—they had already printed and framed photos of us enjoying the park, available for just 150 baht. A thoughtful touch that made the experience even more memorable. We had a late lunch at the restaurant, and the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and cooked to order. Before heading out, we browsed the souvenir and bakery shop. The selection was impressive, and the custard was unbelievably good. Prices were fair and appropriate for the quality. Overall, 1000 Sook Farm delivered a fantastic experience. We’re already looking forward to returning with friends and family

A convenient stop for souvenirs after visiting Hua Hin or Cha-am, offering a wide selection of souvenirs, local snacks, and decorative items from various regions. Clear prices on every items. While prices may be slightly higher than local markets, they are reasonable considering the convenience and variety. Very clean restrooms, a lot of parking, and several restaurants on-site. During peak hours, especially midday, the parking lot may get busy but helpful staff are on hand to direct traffic and assist with parking, It’s an ideal place to rest and shop before continuing to BKK 14/05/2025

Variety of food, nice taste, moderate prices, good service. The restaurant was busy during lunch time but the staff were helpful and attentive. The shop sells local food products. The receipt from restaurant or shop can exchange for entrance tickets to the farm (200 baht purchase of = 1 free ticket). Walking in the farm with the roof along the path really helped getting away from the sun. And so it was so hot. Highly recommend.

While they could benefit from more training in product knowledge and English language skills, we appreciated their efforts to provide top-notch service.

Clean, plenty of chairs and shade, limited but affordable food options, fun for little and big kids. Lockers available. Cabanas can be rented for 2,000 baht per day; I think they have AC and TV! Bring your own towels but no outside food or drink. Pricey but worth it. Residents qualify for a discount.

I had a pleasant stay here, the staff are kind and helpful. They listen to your request, even though I think that they need more training in their product knowledge and English but I know they are trying to give their best service. I love their interior, so pretty and colorful. They also have common room to grab coffee, tea or hot chocolate for free and a cozy playroom. There are no international chanel available, so watching TV is not an option if you can't understand Thai. Everything else is as good as I expected.

We only visited the water park which I did enjoy very much. However the for how much I enjoyed the park the down side was there rules on food and drink, we had a bag check which solo reason was to look for food and drink. This would not be a problem but once we were in the park most western food such as burgers and pizza was not available. I don't have a problem if you have food and drink for us in the park but when you don't there is no reason not to let us take it in. Furthermore we had to buy a towel but the quality was very poor, I wish there has been better quality towels as would be happy to buy on as a memory for our holiday.

We had a wonderful and memorable stay here. It's really heart warming when we first stepped in to our room as it was decorated with balloons and "Happy Birthday" banner and also birthday present 😍 **We were here to celebrate my daughter's 15th birthday and we did leave a note upon booking. Room was great! Clean, spacious and cozy.Easy excess to Santorini Theme Park & Water park. My children truly enjoyed it very much and hoping to come back again. Disadvantage : no food after 6:30pm, not even the hotel will provide u food. However, there's a nice restaurant which is about 3km away from hotel and taxi charges for 2ways @ 300Tbh. Another choice would be, packet some food at the theme park before they close.

The only cons of Place was completely outskirts, very hard to get any convince store and food outside, and very hard to get Grabs! Hotel rated as 3 stars, but everything they perform, to be fair I rate them 4 stars !! For those who prepare to visit nearby Camel Republic, Swiss Sheep Farm and Premium Outlet altogether, can stay here for a night is the ideal proposal! Breakfast got Vegetarian option for Vegetarians!

I edited my review to a 5 Star because of the staffs consolidated efforts and tenacity to right things by improving on their services and professional ethics. For that I am indeed impressed. Most important thing about Hospitality Business is that there’s always room for improvement and even though small in stature compared to other 5 Stars Hotels, the Santorini staffs’ efforts alone can stand toe to toe with numerous 5 stars Hotels; any day! Keep up the Good Work!

Camel Republic is a Moroccan-themed amusement park and zoo located in Cha-am. The attraction offers various rides, animal encounters, and a 4D theater for visitors to enjoy. Although not particularly geared towards adults, children are sure to have a great time with the available activities such as bumper cars, boats, zip line, camel ride and Dino cars. In addition to the rides there is also a small petting zoo where visitors can feed different types of animals.
Very good zoo at cha am. The Google map score is quite low so I had low expectations about here. Here ticket is only 80 baht. And inside have so many kind of animals. All the feeding needs to pay extra fee or buying coupons. Some are expensive if you want to ride horse or camel. Normal feeding price is acceptable. The equipment is old and little bit. Would say here it’s worth to come on the way to Hua Hin. And here is not crowded so won’t feel uncomfortable. It will be better they provide a map because here is quite big so may miss some zone.
Gene — Google review
It’s a good place, but it could be so much better! The atmosphere feels a bit lifeless — there’s no music, no lively or entertaining staff (though they are kind). What’s missing is the fun, color, and spirit that make a place feel alive. There aren't many visitors, probably because it lacks entertainment and energy. It needs to be managed by dynamic people who know how to create a joyful experience — not just for the visitors, but also for the animals. What both people and animals need is simple: happiness.
Adrien B — Google review
Absolutely spectacular! Camel Republic is one of those rare places where you don’t just look at the animals — you actually connect with them. Feeding camels, alpacas, and other animals straight from your hand, gently petting them and feeling that instant bond is pure magic. The entire park is beautifully kept, the animals look healthy and happy, and the experience is both relaxing and unforgettable. It’s not just a visit — it’s a genuine moment of joy and harmony with nature. A must‑do in Hua Hin, especially if you want memories that stay with you long after the trip. Five stars without a doubt!

I love this place! I brought my daughter to Camel Republic because she loves animals. Here, she had the opportunity to get really close to different animals, interact with them, and feed them. This is an experience she can't find in books in my country. The entrance fee is very affordable, and the staff are polite and helpful. We visited on a weekday, which might be why the park was so quiet. Unfortunately, we visited not long after the rain stopped, so we didn't get a chance to ride on a camel. Overall, it was a fun and educational experience.

A lovely place to spend your time with, especially if you have kids. There were some fun activities to do, alongside cute animals. However, I found it’s strange to call this place a camel republic but kept all the camels in the back where it was uneasy to find

Recommend for everyone especially children. There are many cute animal that we can feed and touch them. Stuff are kind. Place is clean and lots of trees.

The place is looking nice outside. We didn’t enter because staff told us that inside is like a zoo. So, we weren’t interested in walking in the zoo. They got a cute cafe outside as well as a ride on carousel (about 80 baht)

I came here for the capybaras and it was worth it.You have to pay for the entrance tickets and an additional fee for visiting the capybaras as you have to pay for food to feed them. The animals condition is not great though and this can be said for almost all of them. You can spend a lot of time there but if you love animals you might feel hurt seeing them in a state like this.If you want a ride on the attractions you also have to pay extra. The place is directed at children and families so you should expect that when going. The staff is very kind and helpful and you can even get umbrellas for free when it rains.I would recommend to go on a cloudy day as it might be too hot otherwise

Swiss Sheep Farm is a family-friendly destination featuring an array of adorable animals such as sheep, rabbits, and horses. The attraction offers unique photo opportunities with quirky displays. However, it's recommended to avoid visiting during midday when temperatures can be high. Visitors are provided with a small bundle of grass to interact with the animals, making for a fun experience for both children and adults alike.
very nice place to feed sheep, goats, ostriches, ponies, deer, giraffes, llamas, etc. and to take lots of selfies towards the different decorations. then cool off with an ice cream. large free parking. reduction for residents.

Great variety of animals, friendly staff, place was a bit run down. Animals seemed well-fed as they weren't aggressive when we fed them at all. Worth a visit, spending 1-2 hours depending on how long you'd like to spend feeding animals. Many spot for those who like taking pictures. Have entrance fee and got some animals food, can buy more food once you are inside the farm. 20 bath/bag of carrots.

Can come visit with kid. Have lot animal. Just the servises very bad. we paid for photo frame. Ready feel No respect tourist at all. The manner need more improvement.
Bill C — Google review
This place has great potential, however the animals are kept in harsh conditions and it's quite heartbreaking so I can only give two stars. On google maps, pictures look great but once we are inside, the zoo looks like an abandonned place and is quite depressing. If you care for animals well-being I would recommend not supporting this animal cruaulty business

It's a good place to visit with kids. It is actually a mini zoo. There is a entrance fee, but the real money you spent for food to feed to the animals. Our daughter enjoyed it a lot and we saw happy faces troughout our visit.

The place is good and very nice. Especially for the kids. They can ride the horse, feed the sheep and enjoy with the view. The restaurant is not that good however, but we don't care much for restaurant. But if some one who come I would recommend in a not sunny day cos every thing is open shade here and it's seems a very hot day

pwd and kid stroller friendly. place is clean and well maintained. good attraction for kids and adults. lot of places to take pictures and live interactions with farm animals. afternoon visit when sun is not too high is better if you dont want too much sun exposure. pics were take. around 530pm-630pm.

It can be rather hot, avoid mid noon. A nice place for children and family to take some nice photos. You get a small bundle of grass to feed the animals to have some interaction with them. Allow for an hour or so for this place. I hope this place will survive the pandemic, as it would be a pity if it had to close down.

Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand (WFFT) is a sprawling conservation and animal rescue center located 45km west of Hua Hin. The facility houses over 500 animals, including elephants, monkeys, jungle cats, bears, tigers, gibbons, macaques, loris and birds. It also operates an elephant rescue program where the elephants live chain-free for the rest of their lives. Visitors can take full-access tours to learn about the animals and their rescue histories.
Incredible Full-Day Experience at the Elephant Sanctuary We opted for the full-day experience and are so glad we did. From start to finish, the day was incredibly well-organized and meaningful. Our guide spoke perfect English and took the time to answer every question with care and detail. The experience began with a short but powerful video explaining the sanctuary’s purpose. It’s heartbreaking to hear the stories and see footage of how these amazing animals were mistreated in the past—but it’s also inspiring to learn how the sanctuary is changing their lives for the better. The rest of the day is spent meeting and interacting with these same elephants in a peaceful, respectful environment where they are clearly well cared for and happy. It’s moving to see them living freely and naturally. Highly, highly recommend this experience to anyone who cares about animals or wants to learn more about ethical wildlife tourism. Truly unforgettable.

I volunteered here for 2 weeks, which frankly wasn’t long enough! I loved every minute of my experience here. The staff are so helpful and accommodating especially Jam, Fifa and Faii on the wildlife project. There was rarely a dull moment as Jam kept everyone’s spirits up! The days are long and the work is hard, but it’s so worth it! The animals here are so well cared for and it’s a privilege to be a small part of their journey. The house dogs around the volunteer accommodation are also so sweet! I honestly can’t say thank you enough to everyone at WFFT. Such a special place!!

It was an absolutely fantastic, impressive, informative day. It is absolutely essential to make a reservation if you want to visit — otherwise, you won’t see any animals, and walk-ins are not possible. We booked five days in advance and there was only one slot left for the entire week. This is clearly explained on their website, so anyone who takes the time to read it will know. People who don’t check and then complain (as some reviewers here do) really have only themselves to blame. Signage could be better: when you arrive at the entrance, follow the small signs to the lodge, which can be easily overseen. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the reserve entrance. We had to ask several staff members along the way before we found it. Once there, everything was perfectly organized, and they were expecting us. The lodge has a terrace with a restaurant and a small kiosk selling snacks and drinks at normal, reasonable prices — not the tourist-gouging you see elsewhere. From the terrace, you can already see the first elephants up close. One thing that baffled me: despite clear signs and repeated instructions, some people still tried to feed the elephants whatever they had, even holding small children or babies over the wall. Some did it again the moment the park rangers turned their backs after warning them. If anything happens, it will of course be “the bad elephants.” Personally, I’d kick such people out without warning. Also clearly stated on the website: all tours are in English. We booked the full-day tour, with little children; it was easy enough to translate for the little ones. After a short introduction to the park, we set off in open buses to see various rescue areas — monkeys, several species of deer, bears, tortoises, and more. Each animal comes with its rescue story. Many are not native to Thailand and cannot be released back into the wild, so they live here in large enclosures. The monkeys and gibbons go through several stages: quarantine cages, socialization with other monkeys, and finally release onto a large, natural island in the reserve as the last step before reintroduction to the wild. There are parts where you have to walk through the grounds, so bring water and insect repellent — again, all explained on the website, so no excuses for later complaints. The website also mentions that this is temple ground and temple-appropriate clothing is required — however, in reality, regular clothing was fine and there was no dress code enforced. Lunch was a small buffet with rice, chicken skewers, and Thai curry — not a huge selection, but tasty, fresh, and more than enough. In the afternoon, we visited the big cats’ enclosures — the tigers are truly impressive — and saw more elephants. The day ended with feeding two blind elephants, who rely on humans to bring them fruit. Overall, it was incredibly moving to see the animals so close. The park even has a modern animal hospital and two very modern animal ambulance cars. The staff are clearly dedicated, and the grounds are well maintained. The tour guides were more than happy to answer all our questions. We felt far more comfortable here than at the many other “attractions” where you can ride elephants in chains or pet sedated tigers. Here, you get the feeling that animal welfare is genuinely the priority — and we were more than happy to pay the slightly higher price for that.

Wonderful way to support these animals who desperately need our support. This an emotional place. It’s a place that shows us how cruel some humans can be. The group of people who are working, volunteering here have big hearts. If you’re here on vacation, please take the time to spend half a day or the full day here. It’s worth it! These animals still have so much love and affection to share with us, even though they had unbearable experiences in the past with humans.
Ruchira F — Google review
If you are anywhere near the area, this is an absolute must visit. It is a true rescue, rehabilitation, and (whenever possible) release operation. If you are looking for animal interactions, you shouldn't be, and, apart from feeding the elephants, won't get it here. As our guide said, "we are here for the animals, not them for us". It is a thoroughly enjoyable and educational experience. We did the full day tour, which included a lovely lunch, which we would recommend. A half day is also offered. These guys do absolutely amazing work and deserve to be supported.

Samnaksong Tham Laplae, also known as Lub Lae Cave, is a sacred place located in Nong Phlap village, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The cave features stunning stalagmites and stalactites that create a serene atmosphere. Visitors can embark on a self-guided exploration after making a donation at the monastery and receiving a torch.
Amazing Cave that we had to ourselves. The dirt track up to the entrance is manageable with a normal car, but needs careful driving in parts. There is a community building near the entrance where you can get torches. The cave is easily accessible, but can be slippery inside. It is very impressive and full of varied rock formations, and bats. Great fun to explore.
Chris B — Google review
There is a pretty good dirt road leading to the cave. I came here at 8:00 am on Saturday and the caretaker gave me a flashlight. The cave itself is large and branched with many bats. I didn't find the cave very interesting, but maybe for beginners it will be different.
Oleg D — Google review
Very long cave. Well lighted. No guide needed nor available. Many bats flying. Good cave to explore.
Mikko — Google review
Also known as Lub Lae Cave. A trip up a one lane, rocky dirt road leads you to the 'Monastery' where you make a donation & are given a torch to explore on your own. You could spend anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour underground, dependant on your tolerance of bats, the heat & enclosed spaces. You can walk the well defined trail or crawl though tiny spaces to reach on amazing cavern. You will generally have the caves to yourself as it is not designed as a tourist attration
Glen W — Google review
It is a beautiful cave! There are lot of Bats flying within the Cave! However, it will be good to have better lighting that highlights those beautiful location or object that is extraordinary!!
Seow T — Google review
The route itself is already a journey. Around October you will cross large fields of pineapples. When you arrive you are greeted by a friendly man who will give you a torch for free. The cave is pretty deep but not cold. Don't be afraid of the bats and insects living in the cave they won't harm you. In the cave the path is clearly visible and easy to follow.
Jeroen S — Google review
The man working here (not the monk), who is middle aged with white hair was really rude to me. Further, he doesn’t suggest you make a donation. He demands, after giving you a torch you don’t need. When I arrived he gave me a flashlight, told me the cave was up the hill, and shouted “do not touch ANYTHING!” as if I am some naughty child. Explored the cave, it’s fine - however many of the lightbulbs have died. I left and asked the man (in Thai) where the toilets are. He proceeds to shout at me in Thai, saying the toilets are at the back, and not to leave the door open when I’m finished. I don’t get why he’s so angry at me. I asked him and he’s shouting at me saying he doesn’t like foreigners, we are all the same and we don’t treat the area with respect. Really disappointed with how he spoke to me. I’ve lived in Thailand for half a year and never had anyone speak to me like this. I asked him what I did to offend him and he couldn’t explain himself, just that he doesn’t like foreigner. I told him I know how to be respectful at a Buddhist site, and he shouts “well I don’t know, and storms off”

This place is a gem , it's off the beaten track but well worth it !! The caves are well lit amd it's so quiet and peaceful - almost spooky ! With the odd sound of a bat or drip of water. The caves are stunning. When we arrived we were greeted by a man who gave us a torch each , we never had a guide like others ha e mentioned so we were left to our own devices. Defiantly worth a visit

Black Mountain Water Park in Hua Hin is a sprawling water recreation complex spread over 40,000 square meters, just 15 minutes from the town center. It offers an array of attractions including nine slides, a towering vertical slide tower, six pools (including a wave pool that creates the largest waves in Thailand), and a lazy river. The park also features dining facilities and operates with high safety standards and trained lifeguards.
Perfect spot for a relaxed family day - kids loved the safe water rides, we enjoyed the peaceful vibe and good food. Just make sure to arrange a ride back in advance, as taxis aren’t always eager to come here

We had a fantastic day out at the black mountain water park with our kids ages 11 and under. We went during the week so it was quiet with no waits for the rides. The park is a perfect size to feel relaxed and not frantic. There are lots of seating areas around the park. Also the restaurant is very well priced and the food is tasty. I recommend buying tickets online in advance as it is cheaper that way. Lockers are available free of charge with a 200baht deposit. Lastly, this place doesn’t have the bigger rides or more thrill seeking rides like vana nava but there’s more than enough to keep everyone happy. Oh and the wave pool was an absolute favourite.
Elisa O — Google review
My partner and our 3 kids (aged 1, 5, and 11 years old) visited this waterpark on a quiet, slightly rainy, Tuesday afternoon. The park is small but surprisingly there's plenty to do. There is a pool for younger children in the corner of the park which is great, along with the lazy river. Then there's the wave pool and of course the big slides which are for the older children. The restaurant food was not bad but could do with more variety. NOTE: Please be aware they the red and green coloured floor around the entire park is horrendously slippery when wet. Whoever decided this was a good idea was wrong and they need to replace it before someone is hurt, it's terrible, we had to keep to the none coloured part which is much safer to walk on. The toilets are also like an ice rink when wet. Worth the admission fee of about 1500 baht for all of us.
Daniel S — Google review
This place is magical. A fantastic water park that deserves more visitors. We were there during Thailand's low season, and there were maybe 20 visitors in total. Prices: We paid 800 baht for a round-trip tuk-tuk. I’m glad we booked the return trip as well—there was one tuk-tuk when we were ready to leave, and I think it was there to pick someone else up. The area is quite remote, so make sure you arrange your return in advance. Entrance fee: 600 baht for adults. In Thailand, you’re often considered an adult based on your height, so my 13-year-old was charged as an adult. We paid at the park. Lockers: 200 baht deposit, which you get back. Food: You need a food card, and you have to load money onto it. Any remaining balance is refunded when you return the card. Soda: 30 baht Burger: 200 baht (250 with cheese) Fries: 100 baht So a bit more expensive than in restaurants, but still very affordable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s located about 20 minutes outside the city center by tuk-tuk. Maintenance was surprisingly good, and everything was clean. This park is cheaper than the other one, and it has slides for kids, the cautious, and the daredevils. Wave pool with 10 minutes of waves and 30 minutes pause. There’s nothing to think about—set aside a full day here. We left at 3 PM because that’s when our tuk-tuk was coming back, but we really wished we could’ve stayed all day.

Ratchanee M — Google review
I have been bringing my child to this water park almost every week. While the park itself is enjoyable, I have some serious concerns. The front desk staff, especially those selling tickets, often seem unfriendly and curt in their communication. We usually visit on Saturdays to take advantage of the half-price promotion, and the prices themselves are reasonable—150 THB for children and 300 THB for adults. However, I strongly believe the park should define “child” tickets by age, not height. Some children are naturally taller because of their parents’ genetics, and it’s not their fault. It feels unfair when one child has to pay an adult price just because of height, while their friends pay less. If this height-based rule is strictly followed, does that mean a dwarf who doesn’t meet the height requirement would be charged a child ticket? This policy is honestly quite absurd. Also, if someone enters the park but doesn’t use any of the facilities, it would make much more sense to allow the entrance fee to be deducted from food or drink purchases inside. That would be a fairer and more customer-friendly approach. I’ve lived in Hua Hin for decades—I’m not a tourist. I’ve supported many local businesses over the years, but after this experience, I’m truly disappointed. As a regular customer, I expected better service and understanding. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit.

Tham Dao

Sights & Landmarks
Points of Interest & Landmarks
Tham Dao is an impressive destination situated approximately thirty minutes away from Hua Hin. It boasts of splendid limestone caverns adorned with stalagmites and stalactites, which have been naturally formed over time. Moreover, the entrance to the caves has been transformed into a petite temple.
This is a fantastic little adventure. Very few people come here and we had the place to ourselves. There is a donation box at the bottom of the steps near to the school, and when we put money in, a lady came out of the building and turned on the cave lights. Then there is an easy five minute climb up to the cave entrance. Even with the lights on, we still needed our phone torches to see where we were stepping. Inside the cave there is a network of passages and caverns with some surprisingly good rock formations. And it is up to you which parts you want to explore. One section of the cave has a low ceiling and there are many bats flying around. There is also a risky old wooden ladder that is now falling apart. One rung is broken and if another one breaks, then someone will either fall or get trapped! Have fun. Be careful.
Chris B — Google review
Such a peaceful temple! The cave beside it was super dark and full of bats (kind of thrilling haha). There were no other visitors when we went, so it felt really calm and almost mysterious. Perfect if you like quiet places away from crowds.
Michaella L — Google review
This place appeared to be abandoned. The property was not maintained. There were no peacocks around that I saw. There were some dogs around. It did see a Buddhist monk in one of the small huts that sit close to the mountain wall. Not sure if he lives on the premises. The lights were not on in the cave and we couldn’t figure out how to turn them on. The cave is very dark. Our cell phone lights were not enough. There are bats in the cave and the floor is covered in bat guano. I was excited to see the place upon reading the Google reviews but it turned out too be a bit sad looking.
Ruth L — Google review
These are pretty caves. No peacocks but no tourists either as it’s low season now. The caves were totally empty but for the flying bats. Perfect!!
Luc — Google review
Impressive dry cave, reasonable walk inside the mountain. Decent-size bats present in good numbers. Ground spiders also rather visible. Staff are pleasant, providing lights going in and water leaving. No charge but a donation is welcome, and only fair. Recommended. A little bit away from towns / highway, self-drive or taxi probably needed.
Jw D — Google review
Tham Dao Cave is a great kid-friendly attraction. The entrance welcomes you with beautiful peacocks, adding a touch of wonder. Inside, the sight of bats adds an element of intrigue. While cave formations create a fascinating natural spectacle, it's important to bring a flashlight for better exploration. The presence of Buddha statues adds a cultural dimension to the experience. Although bat guano might be present, it's a small price to pay for the overall adventure. Tham Dao Cave offers a unique and educational journey for the whole family.
ELKCAT A — Google review
Beautiful, deep cave which is really off the beaten path. It's a really nice place to visit and see why this cave is called Tham Dao (cave of the stars). You'll have to walk not too far upstairs to visit the cave. You'll first arrive in the big room with a Buddha statue and on the right, you can go into the cave a bit deeper. If you are afraid of bats, look out, because there are many of them in the barely lit cave. The cave will get smaller at that point and bats still might pass you. The cave goes on for a while until you reach another room which is super quiet. It's a really nice cave, but I have seen better ones.
Jonathan O — Google review
Very fascinating cave with lots of bats flying around you. No entry fee, not crowded. If you want to feel like batman, this is a must watch. The cave is very long and at some points up to ca. 10m high. There are several light spots to find your way and to highlight interesting sculptures from stalagmites. But you have to ask a monk to switch on the power before climbing the 100 steps. Thai for dummies: Dao (คาว) here means "star", not "turtle" (เต้า).

The foundation offers an ethical way for guests to interact with these majestic creatures, allowing them to walk alongside the elephants, feed them, and even shower them at the end of their visit.
If you want to see elephants, support this place! Do your research and do not go to alternative nearby spots. You can’t ride an elephant here, though no one needs nor should ride an elephant. The educational piece is great and the elephants are well looked after. There are four elephants, all either with health concerns or rescues. Yes they’re chained, but it’s necessary. They’re lined to reduce friction and they're given more freedom in the evenings. Nice venue with statues and the whole team was great, you can feel the love for these animals. Highly recommend.

A great and ethical elephant sanctuary. They have 4 elephants and the activities you can do with them are awesome. No riding thankfully. But to walk, feed and bathe the elephants is a fantastic experience. It is slightly on the touristy side as they will offer you multiple opportunities to buy trinkets or donate, so bring extra cash and don't be stingy. The operation is efficient, easy to understand and fun. If you choose the walking activity (which I highly recommend) you'll have multiple opportunities to get photos. If you decide to view the temple on site, be sure to dress appropriately as it IS a working temple.

Having spent some time researching local elephant sanctuaries, this one seemed the most legitimate and it was. Other local companies are exploitative of the elephants, whereas these are rescue ones who are impeccably well cared for and loved by the volunteers and that comes across when you’re there. We paid for the walk with them and we walked with Song Gram, the teenage elephant who when you say thank you to her she toots her trunk! She’d been rescued from a circus near Bangkok and they were rehabilitating her and hope to release into the wild. The tour was excellent and they explained how they give them free time on the mountain and are only linked up for short periods, but the chain on the leg itself is plastic so won’t hurt. There’s a small gift shop there selling t shirts, key rings etc, or you can buy handmade jewellery from the mahouts (elephant carer) to supplement their income. Overall, I’d fully recommend this charity and heavily recommend researching the other local companies before going. There’s no need to ride an elephant.

A nice stop to get close and personal with rescue elephants without promoting irresponsible business. This small foundation, located on a thai chinese temple ground, only has 4 rescued elephants. The animals are well cared for by volunteers. Visitors are only allowed to have a short 20-min walk with a little feeding and showering interaction - with the option of an educational class (charged extra). The price to pay must be seen in my opinion as a donation to help the foundation maintain their rescued elephants rather than a ticket for an "elephants experience". Overall and after visiting many "elephants camps" in Thailand, we liked this place. The enthusiasm and passion of the volunteer we met gave us a positive feeling about the foundation and how they operate.

Love this place. Rescue centre for Elephants. No riding or tricks ,just good care for Elephants. Can walk with them , shower them and feed them. Staff are polite and friendly and don't try to sell you stuff. Runs on donations
Andrew W — Google review
It was a wonderful encounter with the elephants followed by education about the animals and their past. Yes, the elephants are often chained up, which is also explained on site and why this is the case. Of course, it would be best if all elephants lived in freedom, but unfortunately this is a utopia. You pay a fair entrance fee and then have the opportunity to donate and/or give tips on site. But you are not pressurised to do so. The entrance fee includes a bottle of water and an ice cream. Whether the Foundation makes a profit from this or not and whether the money goes entirely to animal welfare is, of course, not something you can know, but you have to decide whether you trust the honesty of the Foundation that this is true. The elephants are certainly much better off, even if they still live in captivity and are used as an attraction. But somehow the money for their expensive keeping has to come in. What really bothered me, however, was that the mahout advertised his bracelets as being "made from elephant teeth" on the card. In my opinion, that's a no-go. Apart from that, I can recommend the place and hope that the elephants continue to have a dignified and beautiful life.

This is a self funded , nonprofit organization, which rescued injured and unwanted elephants and treats them with food and shelter. The guide was quite knowledgeable and helpful. We fed bananas to the elephants and walked along with the elephant in the designated path . Later we bathed elephants. The cost is 800 Thai Bhat per person. The receptionist also offered us nice ice cream. We enjoyed our visit here
Samir S — Google review
Great experience! We came on Monday because there were English speaking volunteers but they ended up leaving at 12pm (we came around 3pm). But our guide was amazing, spoke great English and was very informative. We walked, fed and bathed the elephant. It was 800 Baht total per person. The elephants are all rescues and look to be taken care of well. They did not push for donations and did provide ice cream at the end. I would definitely recommend going here over other locations!

Outdoor Activities
Hua Hin Beach is a popular destination along the Gulf of Thailand, offering clear waters and soft, powdery sand. It's known for its unmatched Thai hospitality and a wide range of exciting activities. The area is not as crowded as other tourist spots, making it perfect for a leisurely day by the sea. Visitors can enjoy water sports like kiteboarding and kitesurfing due to consistent winds. The beach also boasts lovely beachfront hotels with direct access or public areas for relaxation.
Very nice beach with warm waters to swim. Small shops on the way to the beach. Kids and adults had a good time walking along the water and exploring small animals. There were plenty of horse-riding options available at a charge of 250-300 per horse.

Went here and it having food festival.. Berry crowded.. many food and drink stalls.. Music.. Water fountain and lights in the night.. I saw many family here also lovers.. Everyone relaxing and enjoying the views and vibes.. So happy to feel this beach with the festival U can find temples and monkeys too Aaaah elephant village too

This is one long beachfront for the numerous hotels and condos. Except for the northern tip there is basically no place to sit and enjoy. The white sand is mostly washed away. Dirty with plastics in many places. Jet skis drive very close to the coast making it dangerous to swim. A lot of horse handlers walk the beach looking for customers. Is a sad scene honestly.
Gregor H — Google review
This beach is nice but crowded. I rented a chair with umbrella roof for 100b. It started to rain and the umbrella roof didn’t help. I ordered a coconut smoothie for 70b. Both were expensive I thought. I’ll check out a different area of the beach next time.

This beach somehow disappointed me in every way. I did not expected this but yeah seems like very much under developed one Will update it as I am planning to visit again
Muhammad D — Google review
This is a long beach, so I'll focus on the northern end bounded by Hilton since that is my preferred part of the beach. The reason is simply the ability to get deck chairs, loungers and food brought to you without having to use one of the beachfront resorts. There's about 20 deck chair vendors and in low season, there's not really enough customers to go around. The food and drinks cover the standard Thai options. The food is pretty overpriced, but that's the price you pay for convenience. Some people mentioned clean water, but it didn't look clean to me. I was there during low season and there weren't that many beach activities other than horse riding. In the 7 days on the beach I saw one group take a banana boat ride and one jet ski ride, so the activities do run if there are enough people.

Have many rocks here but it's nice , the only place you can get shade if you get a table. Food good and beers around 70 bht for a small my club sandwich 200 bht , tables normal free if you order . Not bad. Can check out youtube video. @chilishot5760 .

Hua Hin Beach is a beautiful place to watch the sunrise. The beach faces east, so the sun rises directly over the sea. In the early morning, the sky changes color—orange, pink, and gold. The beach is quiet, with only a few people walking or monks collecting alms. The sand is soft, and the sound of waves is peaceful. It is a perfect time to relax and enjoy nature. A good spot to see the sunrise is in front of Centara Grand Beach Resort. This area has rocks and coconut trees, making the view more special. Another nice place is Khao Takiab Beach, which is quieter and has a clear view of the sunrise. If you visit Hua Hin, I recommend waking up early to see the sunrise. It is a peaceful and beautiful experience that you will remember.

What an amazing mall. You will find everything you need there. I wished I found it earlier! The Lotus supermarket inside is everything❤️. There are ATMs, banks, mobile shop and mobile fix stalls. All types of food and friendly staff. There is so much to do, buy and see... There is even a relaxing area with fishes and another area to charge your mobile and sit. Don't forget to visit the basement area, there are four floors in total (I think 🤔😅). There is a car park and lots of takeaways (KFC, McDonald's, Burger King, Pizza, Dunkin Donut etc.), other stall and shopping for wine, ice, home electricians, hand crafted good, natural body and health products, suitcases, clothing and beachwear. High Recommend, must visit❣️

Really well priced food court in yhe basement large meals from 45 baht. Fantastic variety of foods and vendors. The only issue is that there is a card system where by you add money to a card and use at the vendors ,this is a great idea but 50 percent of the vendors don't accept, only cash. The good thing is you can get unused cash back off your card. Overall a great experience.

Cicada Market is a vibrant weekend night market in Hua Hin, offering a wide array of art, clothing, decor, and handmade goods from local vendors. It serves as a platform for artists, designers, and creators to connect with tourists and the community through cultural integration. The market features contemporary art in various forms including handmade decorative items, fashion clothes, secondhand items, and innovative SME products. Visitors can also enjoy creative activities such as workshops, exhibitions, performances, dance shows and music.
Whilst the experience buying food was lacklustre, the kind of shopping you can do at cicada market was really unique! Many skilled craftsmen selling their crafts which you can bring home. Live music and magic show was also very lively, overall still enjoyed ourselves here :)

The market offers a variety of performances, as well as art and food for sale (though the taste might be a bit bland for a Thai like me). If you want to buy food, exchange your coupon first. I also recommend the massage shop at the very back. The masseuses are very skilled. I felt so comfortable that I fell asleep during the massage.

Cicada Market is a must-visit in Hua Hin. It's a fantastic night market with a wonderful atmosphere. It stands out from other markets because it's not just about shopping; it's a great spot for art and entertainment. The market has a wide variety of stalls, especially for handmade crafts, jewelry, artwork, home decor, and clothing. It's the perfect place to find unique, locally made souvenirs and gifts. There are also live performances and music, which really adds to the vibrant energy of the place. It's clear that many international tourists enjoy this market, which gives it a lively, multicultural feel. For food, there's a large food center where you need to purchase coupons before ordering, which makes the process smooth and easy. The food options are great and cater to different tastes. Parking is available across the street. While there's a fee, the lot is large. The overall landscape of the market is beautiful and well-maintained. If you're looking for a market with good food, beautiful art, and a lively vibe, Cicada Market is the place to be. Highly recommended.

In addition to the rides, there are multiple pools, an obstacle course, shops, and fast food restaurants on the premises. This entertainment complex offers lifestyle activities for all ages and has become a significant destination in Thailand's tourism map.
The garden is large, spacious, and safe, and has excellent service. There are people who take care of the service all the time. There are a lot of food for sale, but the price is quite high. But the food is delicious. Fun and thrilling rides But continue to play the rides, but it's a bit long because there are quite a lot of people. The bathroom is clean. Suitable for having fun with many friends or family.

Large and beautiful water park in Hua Hin which is a must visit if you are here on a family holiday. We were there when it opened at 11am and were there all day until 5pm. We booked a deal via trip.com for around 1200thb per person which included towel, locker, VR and buffet. I didn't try VR myself. But the feedback from the kids was that it was quite disappointing in terms of experience and the resolution of the technology itself. When it comes to the food, I thought the buffet was a good deal for the price we paid. With the buffet option you can get as much food, drinks and snacks as you want until an hour before closing time. It's not food you'll dream about afterwards. But it's totally fine. There is a lot of choice of food stations around the place. The prices seemed totally ok. We got there at 11am when it opened and it wasn't until 1200 that it was crowded. At 3-4 pm there were significantly fewer people. Missed more info about the place, especially regarding food and dining options in advance and on the website. So here they can definitely improve. Thats why I also took alot of images from the food menues around Vana Nada to help other in the same situation. Tip: check around on both trip.com, Klook for the best deal!

The overall experience is really good but let me get one point across first. I don't know for others, but for me I feel like the floor type they have is not barefoot friendly so keep that in mind. (They do have waterproof shoes for sale but those are extra expenses.) I also heard that booking beforehand could be cheaper but I don't know for sure. The buffet is also ok, it's not amazing but it's not bad either. But I suggest adding credits to your wristbands and buy food from the stalls. That way, it might not be better pound-for-pound but it's more convenient and there are more diverse options. (Not cheap but not too expensive). Plus point for how many life guards there are. I feel really safe and they have extra security compared to anywhere I've been to. All the rides are quite generic, like all other water parks in Thailand (you can just check that up). Very good hospitality as well, both from tourists and the staffs. Oh, last thing. There's also rock climbing but you will need a sneaker to play it. Checklist - Change of cloths. - Goggles if you want to swim. (Optional) - Towel (optional, can rent) - Shampoo and soap (optional, they have 2 in 1sin every shower room) - waterproof shoes (optional, they have for sale and if you are ok with barefoot then it's fine). - Money for food credits. And if you have glasses, put those in a locker room. Don't wear clothes that hasza zipper or a button at the back because you might not be able to play some rides. Have fun!

I really enjoyed this waterpark—it’s so much fun! There are plenty of rides and attractions, and the slides are long and super exciting. It’s a great place to spend the day, especially with friends. We had such a fun time there, and I’d definitely go back again!

If you have a family or just enjoy a good water park than this place is right up your alley. The wait times aren't that bad on weekdays and they have enough activities you wont get board. Lots of food options plus even a Vegan menu which was so nice.
Daniel L — Google review
Buy your tickets online (Trip.com or Agoda) — it’s about double the price if you buy at the entrance. Vana Nava Water Jungle is a medium-sized water park, nice enough for a half-day visit. The main restaurant (the one with burgers, fries, nuggets, salmon, etc.) was a big disappointment. What you get compared to the photos is nothing alike — the portions are ridiculously small. I had to order three meals at 300 THB each just to feel barely full. Definitely not great value, and a bit dishonest. Crowds were manageable during our visit, with a maximum wait time of about 30 minutes for the area where four slides share the same tower — although it gets messy there, with people practically stepping on each other. The VR experience didn’t look impressive, so we skipped it. The locker system with the wristband is basic but convenient. There are also a couple of climbing attractions located just to the left of the lockers and buffet restaurant, but unfortunately they were closed when we visited, which was disappointing. Overall, the park is average — nothing amazing. We’ve seen much better elsewhere, but in Thailand, especially Hua Hin, there’s not really any better option.
Mathieu C — Google review
We visited in June and it was really quiet. Service was friendly and the Park was clean. Food buffet was mediocre, but who comes here for food. We came to the Park without knowing how everything works and there was a few misunderstandings on our part. For example we didn't realise that we had to put money to our bracelet beforehand and caused a little confusion. It could have been communicated better by the Park, but the mistake was of course ours.

Nestled in the picturesque Hua Hin Hills, Monsoon Valley Vineyard is a surprising gem in Thailand's wine scene. Formerly known as Hua Hin Hills, this vineyard produces new latitude wines, defying traditional norms. The lush tropical paradise of Hua Hin Hills provides a stunning backdrop for over 250 acres of vineyards.
We fully enjoyed this vineyard trip! Starting from walking around the vineyard, we had a big rain shower to be soaking during our walk, but it was a great memory for us. The tapas and wine tasting experience was beyond amazing. Under viewing down the vineyard trip, we enjoyed 5 marriages between the dish and the pairing wine. I strongly recommend this experience for wine and food lovers, this is the must to do in Hua hin!

Food was fresh and tasty. Had the wine and tapas tasting. Definitely worth it. The ambience is cooling and different as there are not many vineyards in thailand. Staff was attentive and friendly. Maybe you could have a bigger play area for the kids and have a wine tasting fee that allows customers to taste any wine they choose to.

I attended a private theater night event with a 3-course wine pairing meal. It was an incredible experience. We were super lucky with the weather—cool and pleasant, making it a great time to sit in the middle of a vineyard. The food was exceptional, perfectly complementing the classic film Sideways, which delves into intriguing topics about wine. It was a truly memorable evening, and I was grateful for the invitation!

Arrived here on the 10am shuttle from the Monsoon Valley Wine Bar. Journey time approximately 45 minutes. At 11am the group of us were taken on a vineyard tour. English speaking guide and very knowledgeable. The tour lasted about 30 minutes and included in the price of the shuttle from the wine bar if I recall correctly. The views are beautiful and it is well worth seeing. After the vineyard tour a group of us were taken to the elephant 🐘 sanctuary where we were able to feed bananas to two male elephants (6yo 10yo). Didn't last long but still enjoyable and worth doing. Back to the restaurant where we had lunch and wine tasting with tapas. Sadly this is when the place let us down as the tapas did not arrive at the same time as they gave me the wines to taste. The cashew chicken is delicious. As were the tapas. On an aside the views from the toilets are worth seeing

Very good wine and food; with an excellent atmosphere. This is my second visit to the vineyard and noticed this time we pulled up to a booth which required each person pay a cash only 200 ThB fee before you can enter the parking lot. This voucher can be used toward any expense including wine, your meal, or items in the gift shop, etc. They do not have any sweet wine options to choose from, but my party liked the Signature Red wine. The food taste and presentation are very good. I gave the food 4 stars because I thought the amount of food on several plates were a bit sparse. I would have liked to see a slightly larger portion knowing the price paid ~370 ThB per plate. The cheesecake was one of the best I've had in Thailand so far. I am not a big wine person but I don't believe you would be disappointed with this place.

I was genuinely surprised to learn that Thailand produces wine—and even more delighted to discover this stunning vineyard! The setting is absolutely gorgeous: peaceful, scenic, and immaculately maintained. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel relaxed and connected to nature. Whether you're a wine lover or just looking for a unique and tranquil experience, I highly recommend a visit. This vineyard is a true hidden gem that showcases a different side of Thailand—one that’s elegant, serene, and full of pleasant surprises. Definitely worth a visit!

Let’s get the first problem over with John Monsoon, the dessert is awful. I ordered a berry pie and it’s just a shell with berry concentrate filled to the brim, and not even your wine could tune down this deadly sweetness. But apart from their food, I think the wine tastes great! It pairs well with the beautiful, mountain-stretching vineyard. The winetasting tour on the other hand doesn’t bode well with the time I went there. It’s said that the best time to take the tour is in February or March, so I couldn’t be bothered.

Not a great beach compared to phuket beaches, water recedes along way so you ll have to walk along way just to swim. Sand is a brown/Gray colour and not compelled to even get in the water . Restaurants along the shore are good but not much open before 12 pm. Lucky to be 2 stars Not going back.

Great beach. We were on the beach section associated with the Anantasila hotel, near to the harbour and rock. Soft sand, clean in the section we were in and the water was great for swimming (didn't spot any jelly fish). It was high tide and we originally went to Hua Hin beach (where there was no beach because the tide was so high and the waves were rough!). Much more sheltered here and a good section of beach even at the high tide. Service from the hotel was excellent (we paid 500THB for day pass and got loungers, could use the pool, showers, etc). You could try the other sections, which might be cheaper. Mix of people, relaxed atmosphere, lots of Europeans and also Thais. Yes there were two or three horses and later on there were some dogs but neither were intrusive at all.
