Decent waterfalls, near Corbett Museum. At the entry, there's a ticket counter, post which you can take your car inside the forest. There's a short hike post the parking, which although short, has a bunch of stairs, elders, be advised. The steps, carved of stone, are infused with algae and chances of slipping are prevalent. The place is really beautiful in monsoon. Throughout the hike they also have some adventure activities like sky cycling, ziplining etc, which were closed however citing rain (there wasn't any). I suppose it's up to their mood to close / open. There's also a small cafe and souvenir shop near the parking area, although there are very limited options.

I recently visited Corbett Falls, and it was a delightful experience! The ticket charge is 100 rupees per person, but it's free for kids, which is a nice bonus for families. The location is very convenient, situated on the road near the Girja Devi Temple, making it easy to access. There's ample parking space available, and you can drive your car up to 200 meters from the waterfall, which is quite convenient. The falls themselves are beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful atmosphere. The trek to the waterfall involves crossing a small wooden bridge, which adds to the charm of the experience. Along the way, you can spot small fishes in the clear waters, making it a fun adventure for kids. Speaking of kids, this spot is perfect for families! There is a kids' zone where children can play, and even some fun activities like sky cycling. The entire area is well-maintained and clean, making it a great place for kids to enjoy nature in a safe environment. The sound of the waterfall and the natural beauty of the surroundings make it an ideal spot for relaxation and photography. I am a nature enthusiast. The day i visited was rainy so the place was prettier than it usually would be as the lush green area around the waterfall was humid and was very pleasant. This is the only place you can visit while in Jim Corbett to be closer to nature other than safari.

This was very good experience. A must visit place while going towards Nainital after Jim Corbett. Entry fee is Rs 50 and Car fees is Rs 100. You have to take your vehicle with you for around a kilometer. The waterfall was great. Zip line and zip-cycling actvity was also there with extra charges. My son enjoyed the zip-line activity very much. A small canteen is also there.

Naina Devi Temple is a quiet and peaceful place with great mythological significance for Hindus. The temple management is very good, polite, and well-organized. We visited during the Nanda Devi festival, when the entire area was filled with vibrant energy and a lively fair (mela) was organized as part of the celebrations. During festivals, the temple timings are extended till 10 pm, allowing devotees more time for darshan. It is truly a must-visit place in Nainital, offering both spiritual serenity and cultural vibrance.

Well maintained zoo , if coming by foot be prepared for the good work out for legs. Tough for elderly people and heavy person. Very steep climb take car. Once you reach you have nice view of lake.

Zoo is located on a peak accessible only through shuttles operating infront of India hotel on mall road. There's lot of walking and steep accent there no caddy available, therefore I would suggest avoiding aged people OT people who are not comfortable with heavy cardio. Overall zoo have decent number of species and animals are quite active.

Frankly, the zoo is nice, if you like climbing hills. I found it strenuous. You have to walk uphill quite a lot to reach the tickets counter and then inside the zoo more climbing. I enjoyed watching the tigers, leopards and red pandas and some mountain goats and deers. But many of the cages were empty. Sometimes only after a steep climb to an enclosure you realise that there is nothing there. Still I liked what I saw though I was really tired with all that climbing up.

The Nainital Zoo is located at a very high point. From Mall Road, you can take a cab service that charges ₹70 per person and drops you near the entry area. After that, you still have to walk quite a bit uphill to reach the ticket counter, where the ticket price is ₹150 per person. Once you enter the zoo, you first get to see some beautiful birds, followed by the Bengal tiger and many other animals. Since the zoo is situated at a high altitude, you have to keep walking uphill inside as well. If you have elderly people with you, it’s better not to take them along due to the steep climb. Apart from that, the zoo is surrounded by nature and the peaceful environment really wins your heart.

Has a beautiful view of the Himalaya. On a clear day you would be able to see a almost a 360 degree view of the valley and range. Very close to the Chauli ki jali and Mukteshwara Dham Temple. Go there check out the view and just relax and soak in the beauty with a cup of warm coffee. I just wish we were there on a day with clear weather.

The area around this place has lot of attraction. The first is mukteshvar mahadev temple. It is at a height of 8200 feet. It's a very old and famous temple and visited by thousands of people. Next to it is chauli ki jaali which has a straight fall of 1000 ft. You can enjoy rope diving here.

A small treak from chauli ki jali leads you to pwd inspection house and it’s beautiful since the local people had tried to keep it clean. There is also an public convenience (sulabh restrooms) available (payments to be done ) they water is scarce so most of time no waters in restrooms. Must watch for the seven peaks watch.

Heritage Hotel with amazing views. The bungalow is old fashioned which was once a heritage site. Now it is run by KMVN as a hotel. The luxury rooms are well kept and the staff is courteous. Breakfast and Dinner are included in room tariff. The food is delicious and home-style. There is a nice lawn/garden. The view is amazing. Mornings are very special very bird chirping and the scenic beauty of sunrise hitting the top of snow bounded mountains. Just grab a cup of tea and enjoy a nature.

This is a must visit attraction of Mukteshwar which shouldn't be missed . The history of this banglow is directly related to Jim Corbett himself . And one can stay in the property too having prior booking . The Himalayan peaks are very clearly visible from here till Nepal . Such beauty isn't visible from Any point . The height of this place is around 7500 feet . Nanda devi peaks and almora are in straight line of sight . The details of all the visible peaks are also mentioned from the view point which is very educative for young kids .

The inspection bungalow is famous for its view of the mountain ranges. It is one of the places to visit for the view of mountain ranges and if you are lucky with the weather (no cloudy day) then you can cherish the amazing view of Trishul, Nanda ghunti, and even panchahuli peaks. So this place has no parking lot as such you have to park your vehicle outside the gate of the bungalow on the road itself. Then you can enter the bungalow and reach towards the open ground with wooden sitting benches and a table. And the viewpoint from where you can click the photographs and cherish the majestic view of peaks. The garden is well maintained and planted with so many beautiful Dahlia and gladiolus flowers. So this place also provides or serves you as a guest house, if you want to stay there you can book rooms from the kmvn website. And if you are not staying here then you can also come to this place just to admire the view with a cup of chai and coffee and pakoras. Yes, they also have a little canteen so they serve as per their menu. We enjoyed our view with chai and pakoras do visit this place and admire the majestic view.

It's scenic and I think the only most visited place and attraction in Mukhteshwar, overcrowded no parking at all in season. Long traffic for cars.

If you already went to places like waichin valley, Tosh, munsyari, ladakh etc. this one may not impress you. However, sunset from the cliff is impressive and now the zipline is also added (fare 500 pp). Walking distance (5 minutes) from Mukteshwar mahadev mandir.

This place is situated just beside the Mukteshwar Dham Temple. There is walkway just beside the entry of the temple that leads you to this place. On the entry to the walkway, you have small open shops and eateries where you can munch on Samosa, Kachori, Fruit Chat, Rajma Chawal, Dal Chawal and much more. You need to walk around 500 mts before you reach this place and once you reach there are more eateries. There are even two ziplines if you are someone who loves thrill. The place is now heavily commercialized and that's my first complain with this scenic place. Chauli ki Jhali is essentially a mountain cliff which gives you breath-taking views of Himalayas and there is no wonder this place is so popular but due to heavy commercialization the place is very dirty and too crowded. You can spend good 15-20 mins here taking back the mesmerizing views the place has to offer. Also dno't forget to click some pics on the first cliff just when you enter the area. That spot is a good one. Totally recommened and more so in off season.

Great holy temple of Lord Shiva. Around 350 yrs old. We need to ascend some 136 steps but the temple and view from top is worth it. Chauli ki jaali too is near by to this place.

A serene temple with breathtaking views—but be prepared for a bit of a hike! Mukteshwar Dham Temple is truly a peaceful and spiritually uplifting place, perched right at the top of Mukteshwar. The view from up there is absolutely stunning—calm, serene, and perfect for some quiet reflection. The temple itself has a divine energy, and even though it can get a bit crowded, the overall experience is still incredibly soothing. That said, one thing to be aware of is the parking situation. Cops won’t allow you to drive all the way up to avoid traffic jams, so you’ll have to park about 1.5 km before the temple. From there, you have two choices: either enjoy a moderately steep uphill walk or hop on a scooter offered by local riders, which usually costs ₹50–₹100 for the ride to the top. The walk can be a bit of a challenge, especially for elderly people or those not used to walking uphill, so plan accordingly. Despite this small inconvenience, the view and the temple make it absolutely worth the effort.

Holi place in Nainital district of Uttarakhand about 57 kilometers drive from Nainital city. Temple of Mukeshwar Mahadev. Excellent view of snow peaks from Mukteshwar. Many luxury hotels are available there. There was apple orchards on the way. Temple is situated at the top of Mukteshwar.

If possible, AVOID going to the temple on weekends, especially during peak season. The cab-wallahs will not tell you that the cabs will be stopped about 2 kms before the temple, and then you will either have to walk all the way through a nightmarish traffic or hire a two-wheeler to cover that distance. You will end up paying 2500/- to the cab-wallah (from Kasiyalekh) and then either walk 2 kms (one way) to the temple or pay another 200/- to the two-wheeler-wallah (for one person) for riding one way. So, if you are a group of 4, you will have to shell out another 1600/- if you choose to take the two-wheeler ride for all, both ways. The locals exploit the situation, but the administration is not bothered. If you choose to go in a self driven vehicle, be prepared to get mad. If you are only 2 in a group, a better way would be to hire a two-wheeler to the temple from Kasiyalekh instead of going there in a four- wheeler. But, we were told that on weekdays the situation is not so bad. We visited this place on Saturday, 21 June 2025. I tried to find some peace, serenity, and calmness at the temple but failed miserably. The covered concrete steps to the temple are a recent construction (although it has definitely ruined the beauty of the natural surroundings of the temple). Before, it used to be a hike to the temple through the jungle around.

This Aashram is situated 9 km from Lohaghat. Roads are narrow and with beautiful view. This place has morning and afternoon visit times and closed for a couple of hours for lunch. Beautiful view, Aashram hospital with free treatment, meditation room, Museum, lake, organic farming, Library. You can spend hours sitting and appreciating this place. No canteen, food stalls nearby. Booking for these ashram can be done via their website. Absolutely in love with this place.

Simply divine! This ashrama was the dream project of Swami Vivekananda. He himself stayed here. Over a century, it has remained the secluded spot for serious spiritual aspirants associated with Ramakrishna Movement. Stunning views of Himalayan peaks like Nandadevi, Nandakot, Trishul during the months of January - March delight the hearts of monks and devotees. The main building and Prabuddha Bharata buildings are of immense historical importance. No personality worship here, just the contemplation of Impersonal Absolute Self/Brahman. A must visit for all.

Very close to Champawat, about 21 km. Located in a perfect, well maintained, green place and developed vastly for the good of the people around. Advaita Ashrama, is a branch of the Ramakrishna Math, founded during 1899 at the behest of Vivekananda, by his disciples James and Charlotte Sevier. It is completely dedicated to the study and practice of Advaita Vedanta. No idol worshipping here, NONE what so ever. Initially when I had started visiting this place about 15 years ago, the flowers bloomed happily in front of the few meditative rooms. A nursery was there to provide to those, who were fascinated with the 'hard-to-find-elsewhere' plants which included to a few types of cactus, but no longer so. I had also managed to click a barricaded fantastic, out of the world , printing machine from olden days ( which has disappeared since).... and am trying to find the picture of it somewhere in my photo logs if possible. A hospital has now come up to look after the plight of quiet a few attendees and visitors, to care for there ailments. I have not only been fascinated with Shri Vivekanand's works and life but am equally fascinated to visit this place off and on, just to breath in the purity.

An average place for a day out with family. There are not many swings and activities to do, and the already existing ones do not work all(some are out of order). Cleanliness is good and well maintained. The food in the canteen is great, the tea is top notch. Overall it's a pretty decent place to take your family out.

I would like to start by saying the guy sitting at the ticket counter at the entry is extremely rude and no sense to talk with anyone. No sense to talk to women leave alone the men. Else it has been a good experience since it was a weekday so no rush at all so you can enjoy all the rides without any wait. There are many rides inside the water park although they need a lot of cleaning and hygiene. Another big scope of improvement is they do not accept upi inside the park for lockers or towels or for changing room only cash. The changing room needs a lot of cleaning and some water pressure for shower. Parking space was ample, there was lifeguards at most of the rides. The wave park was good but it was on for only once at around 3, if you are late then you'll miss that. No food points inside the water park but outside the park there was rides, park for kids and food points also. Overall a positive experience

This amusement park is a popular spot for weekend fun in Bareilly, as it's the only one in the city. While it can get a bit crowded on weekends, it offers a decent range of facilities. However, the water park section is disappointing, with dirty water and poor maintenance. Though people, including kids, do enjoy swimming, the pools often smell bad and seem to lack proper cleaning.

This water park has wrong informations written on their official website.They charge too much for this small water park.Thwy charge seperately for shoe stand,locker, seperate charge for costumes,mobile phones and everything else they charge seperately after giving ticket price.The water park is very small with limited rides.Dry park is too old and with most of the rides non functional.I had a bad experience here although I was with my friends so I enjoyed the time.

This mall offers a great shopping and movie experience, with a wide selection of brand stores available. However, I'm giving it 3 stars due to some maintenance issues. 1. One escalator in every pair is often out of order. 2. The UPI payment option for parking never seems to work when I try to use it. Improved maintenance could help attract a better crowd.

Good multiple Shopping place with full amenities and branded quality items. Weekend time with kids is best in all respects. Food court items are bit expensive but hygienic and quite tasty. Eco tourism huts are very nice well located across huge water reservoir but two issues which you have to keep in mind before booking it. First no private vehicle allowed therefore you to visit with safari vehicle only and once dropped there you cannot move. Second if booking in winter months be careful as no fire policy and after 5 pm you are just forced to remain inside room as outside very cold and with out fire you can not stay long

Overpriced, overhyped, averagely maintained, good ambiance during safari, staff guides drivers of safari are cooperative and try their best to make your experience good.. nothing else there except safari.... Calling it a beach is totally unjustified....it's not even a clean water body...

An awesome weekend getaway. One should book the forest resort and stay overnight. Watching the sunset and sunrise should not be missed. Staying amidst dense forest gives a different level of experience. Food and facilities are nice. Early morning one can see crocodiles on the beach. Deers come and drink water. Book Forest safari in advance and if luck favours you, you can see tiger. We saw a tiger, bear, rare owl, rare barking deer , many peacocks and deers. Forest safari is amazing. A must go to place.

Chuka Beach It is situated between Sharda dam and canal. It is a beautiful tourist destination with one bamboo hut, one tree house and four Thara huts. Best time to visit Chuka beach is between the month of October and April.

Cool place to enjoy. But don't come on humid and hot weather.

Aahhhaaaa....my first stay in a tree house. Thrilling and tiring experience (stair climbing). At present only tree house is available for booking. Rest of the rooms are under renovation. I have uploaded the pics of the rooms still under renovation. Following are the pros and cons of the tree house stay. Pros - Newly renovated. Mobile Network coverage avlb for airtel, jio and idea (declaring the ones that I have tested). The package includes breakfast for two and two bottles of water. Good homely food (non spicy veg food). AC and geyser available. Bamboo furnishing Mr Dharampal looks after the rooms. He is polite, courteous and helpful. Cons- The room and washroom is toooooo small. The stairs are steep and spacing between the steps is more so its very difficult for elderly ppl and kids to climb. Water drips down the stairs and it's a risk for ppl to fall down. Many rats are there in the tree house, they have cut our bag also. The bedsheets and towels were washed but with stains they need to be replaced. Too many cane chairs make the room non movable. Electricity is avlb thru generator after sunset till 2200h during winters. Only packaged water is avlb at the canteen. Any additional eateries needs to be prebooked even milk for kids. Room cleaning is limited due to many stairs.

We visited Shuklaphanta National Park on April 22, 2025, and enjoyed an incredible four-hour jeep safari from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The experience was truly memorable and full of adventure, as we spent the entire time deep inside the jungle. The park was alive with wildlife, and we were fortunate to see many groups of peacocks, including a stunning display of a male peacock dancing right in front of us, creating a magical moment. Throughout the safari, we encountered a variety of deer species, including both spotted and spotless deer, as well as several beautiful barasinghas (swamp deer). We also spotted a couple of Nilgai, adding to the excitement. One of the highlights was coming across fresh tiger footprints on our trail, although we weren’t lucky enough to spot the tiger itself. Rhinoceroses and wild elephants are also commonly seen in the park, but this time, they remained elusive. Despite missing out on a few big sightings, the safari offered a wonderful opportunity to witness the rich biodiversity and natural beauty of Shuklaphanta. It was a thrilling and peaceful experience that left us eager to return and explore even more of this stunning national park.

Amazing National park ,we could not afford to do jeep Safari in order to see deer which is one of the most see deer in this National park is way far which is not really possible to get their by walking ,we were there for few hours where we didn't have enough budget for hire vehicle we hired a guide and walk around the closer route we really did enjoying our visit

Undoubtedly the best National Park of Nepal. Rich in natural resources and wildlife, there's plenty of things to do and see while you're here. Jeep Safari to the Grassland (the largest in Asia) is a must, and if you're lucky, you might spot some tigers too. Close to the national park is Mahakali bridge (1465M), the longest suspension bridge in Asia.

Awesome economical wild life zone. This is the best for catching a glimpse of wildlife. Zero poaching results in abundant wild life. Rhinos, deers, gators are abundant. Stay in local homestays and boost the economy. The jungle guest house is highly over priced.

We visited the sanctuary twice in the last two years. We stayed at Mr Fazlur Rahman's resort located just outside the sanctuary. Fantastic host, fantastic food. There were a lot of migratory birds in the lake including Common Coot, Red Crested Pochard, Gadwall, Ferrigeneous Pochard, Eurasian Wigeon. We also saw an osprey and plenty of serpent eagles. On our first visit we saw a huge male tiger while on our second visit we saw a tigress with her three adolescent cubs.

A good effort by government of India and also state government as they had maintained the wildlife sanctuary perfectly this wildlife sanctuary is a part of Dudhwa National Park and also very small as compared to Dudhwa that why we can see every animals easily most common of them are species of deer i saw every type of them and they were in large amount some about 80 to 90. And if you are lucky then there are 75% of chances of seeing the tiger as I too saw the tiger at last when wildlife sanctuary was going to close and if you are wanted to see the tiger and many more of animals the you must visit sanctuary in moth of April as weather at evening would be pleasant as animals would come out at evening to hunt of drink water. But you will not found rhinoceros and elephants there you would only found them in Dudhwa these are my review towards Kishanpur wildlife Sanctuary. Thank you

Best wild life sanctuary in UP must visit once

I would recommend visiting kishanpur wildlife sanctuary instead of dudhwa National park. I personally think kishanpur is underrated and the probability of sighting tigers is slightly higher than dudhwa. It is less expensive with a small crowd even if you don't get the chance to sight tigers but you will love the forest and silence.

It's lovely, beautiful, quiet jungle. Must visit.

Kishanpur is one of the hidden gems in UP for Tiger sightings. There are about 30+ tigers in this national park. We did 2 safaris during the weekend. Unfortunately, no tiger sighting but we had a great time with our host Nikhil from Rajwada Farms.

This temple is a holy site of Hardoi city. Here you will get to visit Shravan Devi Temple and Prahlad Kund The people of Hardoi have a lot of faith in this temple. Prahlad Kund built here looks great

Shravan Devi Mandir is near Sandi chingi in Hardoi. It's one of the Siddha Shaktipeeth. As per mythology, its the place, where the ear of devi has fallen. The place is of deep faith in the devotees of Mata Durga.

Jai Mata Di Nice Temple. Big campus. It is one of the Shaktipeeth. Main Temple is of Shravan devi. Very nice murti and 9 dev covered in parikrama. Along with Shravan devi there are other small temples of Kali maa, Shankar ji, Annapurna maa, Hanuman ji and all. There is main havan kund also. Outside Temple small shops are there to get prasad and mithai. Car parking can be find nearby outside.

If you are going to Lucknow, you should definitely go to Bada Imambara. Famously known as Nawabon ka Sheher, I think going to the very Iconic Bada Imambara area is a must. When you reach Bada Imambara, you can get a tuk-tuk or E-rickshaw, which take 100 rs for one ride around the entire area, including the Rumi Darwaza, Shahi Bawli, Clock Tower, Art Gallery in Chota Imambara and back to Bada Imambara where you can go inside and explore Bhool Bhulaiyan, another bouli and the amazing Nawabi architecture, which closely resembles Taj Mahal, in many aspects. You notice it instantly when you see it. The Tuktukwala or E-rickshaw driver also tells you the history of the places and attached stories of different places. And there is no time limit. All this for 100 rs, especially if you are a group of 4, is a very economical and value for money deal. Art Gallery in Chota Imambara is where you get ticket for both gallery and Imambara for Rs. 50 per person And it's the most amazing at evening after sun has set, with the lights. Just one thing to BEWARE of, do NOT buy chikken kari kurti or chikken embroidery clothing from where the E-rickshaw person takes you, you can get better deal and better stuff at other places in Lucknow. This is especially for the first timers.

When you are Lucknow, you will surely visit this place. This is just like Tajmahal in Agra. Nice place to visit but very crowded. Ticket price is ₹50, to cover all sites in this complex as well as Chhota Imambada. Guide will charge according to the number of people in your group. But remember, after the payment, you will be added to large heterogeneous group of visitors. You won't get personal attention. Guide will be already tired and you are least likely to enjoy.

Crazy crowds. Don't go inside the maze if you are claustrophobic or don't like crowds. The maze is nice and the view from top is good too. If you like these type of architectural places. You can just look from outside too and walk in the courtyard. Also, it will not feel any different than other similar buildings if you don't get a guide to tell you some of the facts around the building.

Loved the experience of going back to the Residency after 9 years again. The place has been maintained very well and kept clean. The ASI has also illuminated the buildings in the evening. The small museum is also informative about the history of the place. One must visit when in Lucknow.

Many of the buildings here are a testimony of the violence that occurred here. The site has been well maintained and has a nominal entry fee of 20rs. It was later handed over to the British and served as a residence to the British Resident General in Avadh (Oudh) - 18th & 19th Century.

Visited the Lucknow Zoo recently. Overall, it's a small but decent zoo with a fair collection of animals and a good layout. However, I was quite surprised by the lack of proper facilities, especially considering this is in the state capital. The park area is in poor condition and needs urgent attention. There’s very little for kids to explore and enjoy beyond the animals. The adventure zone is substandard, and most activities there are chargeable — even the most basic ones. Not all families can afford to pay extra for things that should ideally be free or included with the entry ticket. On top of that, the staff in the adventure zone were rude and unhelpful. On a positive note, the zoo train is fun and reasonably priced — definitely a highlight for children. Overall, an okay experience, but I sincerely urge the concerned authorities to improve the kids’ facilities and overall maintenance. For a zoo located in a state capital, expectations are naturally higher.

The museum is the only thing i found impressive. You can see a real egyptian mummy kept here and many more crazy stuff. Talking about the zoo, the authorities do not care about maintaining the things. The place where snakes are kept was in the same pity condition as it was 10 years back. I dont understand where all the money goes. Also the parking area condition is very bad they should definitely give it a makeover. Apart from the infra, the animals are quite decent in number. I think they have all the important ones which is a good thing. Also the toy train is very enjoyable, everyone should try it. Overall its a fun place to visit but you wont feel visiting it again unless you find a different group of people to go with because its not just about the place its about the people.

The premises are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with proper walking paths and shaded areas. First of all I want to request zoo administration to please focus on cleanliness of the premises. Very dirty and bad smell surroundings. Experience of toy train is very bad . On weekends and public holidays they sell more tickets than seats and public fight with each other for seat and no management or any queue. As well as train move so fast that we cannot enjoy or watch beautiful sights at last you have to walk out. You can not watch animals from 360 degree you have to wait animals to come out near barricade to watch out.

It is a very big park (memorial )made by Ms Mayawati when she was CM of UP. Entry ticket is priced at ₹ 25 per person. Contrary to facilities at other gardens, even Senior citizens have to buy tickets. Very large open areas so wouldn't be advisable to visit in the heat of the day due to lack of trees and Shade. The memorial is big and tastefully designed. The architecture is good, with several elephant statues adding to its uniqueness. Highlight of the park is its meticulously designed pathways and open space. Restrooms are available.

Structurally it's worth it... I mean it has been planned to present the values of Bhim Rao Ambedkar, but then this is where the praise stops. Instead of calling it a park, it should have been called as a recreation center for appreciating values of Baba Saheb. When it comes to calling it a park, there are no trees, just marble structures. Recommended to go in early morning before 10:30am or after 5:30pm Summer season it must be a heat factory. Basic entry ticket available

A great historical place, which unfortunately is severely underrated. This Parijat tree is deemed to be originated from Samudra-Manthan, which Pandavas have again brought back from heaven and planted by Arjun at current place during their exile. The tree remains green for 6 months and goes dry for next 6 months in the year. The place is easily approachable by own conveyance, however public transport can be time consuming. It worths visiting it, if you are nearby or on religious tour.
