(Translated by Google) We were in the park recently. Unfortunately, a lot of things here have already been destroyed, which made me very sad. The park itself as a piece of art was very interesting to me, but unfortunately time has not been kind to it. Throughout the park there were security guards who greeted us as they passed by on scooters. (At first I thought he would want to ask for payment, but no one asked for anything. They only warned me that I should be careful when taking it up the wall, since there were no railings.) In general, the impressions were only positive. I don’t know anything about his fate, but I hope he will be restored. A few words about Little Red Riding Hood and the clown from the movie “It” in the ditch under the bridge.... I’ll be dreaming about you for a long time 😂 In general, in the absence of more attractions in cities, this place is a must-visit (since it won’t last long.) )

Van Thuy Tu Temple

Place of worship
Sights & Landmarks
Van Thuy Tu Temple, located in Duc Thang Ward - Phan Thiet City, is a significant spiritual site for locals and a popular tourist destination. The temple is dedicated to the Nam Hai deity, revered by fishermen as their guardian god at sea. Dating back to 1762, it houses over 100 whale skeletons, including a remarkable 22-meter long one believed to be the largest in Southeast Asia.
Its a nice place to come if you want to see the whale, if you're in the city its worth coming to see its quite a small place so you wont be in long.
L R — Google review
Temple built to worship whales. Tour guide can give you details on the history, its included with the ticket, but its only in Vietnamese.
Francis S — Google review
Very interesting, we went with a guide who was able to tell us about the folk beliefs and traditions behind this temple. Otherwise it is an intact whale skeleton which is also impressive.

Good local story, but will mostly take 5 to 10 mins so plan visit to make it efficient with other stops

Interesting visit. Good exhibit. But recommend visiting the temple and seeing the many bones of whales at the back of temple shrine. Worth a look, only about half hour for visit all up.
Michaelm M — Google review
Might as well to drop by if you are already on phản thiết . Ticket is 15,000 vnđ .to get in you would see the big whale bones in the exhibition room .behind it there is a temple that the serve the god and goddess that fishermen worship to. It’s small but it’s something to see in phản thiết
Chi Y — Google review
Whale !!! This is about the Bone of the whale. Apparently, long time ago, whales are worshipped as god of the sea. The fisherman has legend about it. This place used to be next to the beach but now, because the city is over-populated to the point of "invading" the beach, it is in some small roads. The bone looks amazing, giving the feel of something enormous, powerful and mysterious for its sea characteristic. Downside is that they only exhibit the biggest here. One biggest bone. One.

Museums
The Ho Chi Minh Museum is a must-visit for those interested in Vietnamese history. It showcases exhibits and memorabilia chronicling the life and legacy of the renowned Vietnamese Communist leader, Hồ Chí Minh, as well as his pivotal role in the 1945 revolution. The museum also features archaeological finds from excavations near Phan Thiet. While some visitors noted limited English explanations, many appreciated the overall experience and found it to be an interesting and insightful sightseeing opportunity.
A well-curated museum highlighting Ho Chi Minh’s pivotal role in Vietnam’s reunification. It provides deep insights into his leadership and legacy, showcasing why he is so highly revered.
Norbi — Google review
It feels like nobody visits this place and it looks abandoned. Entrance is free and you have a few floors to walk around mostly featuring only pictures. Not really enjoyable to watch them in the dark and they don't turn the lights on. Half of the explosions lack any translation at all. Probably might take a look if you have no other stuff to do, but I won't recommend you to travel here on purpose.
Ilya L — Google review
The enterence is free. Three floors. But, looks like the workers do not care about people who wants to learn about their history. All windows are closed, no AC, no air at all. 3rd floor has no light. So, if you care, you need to use the flashlight on your phone. Vietnamese "care" and "hospitality" at one place.

Lotte Mart Phan Thiết stands out as a contemporary shopping hub in the heart of Phan Thiết, blending convenience with variety. Open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, this supermarket and shopping mall caters to both locals and visitors alike. While it may not have the bustling charm of traditional markets like the Central Market, Lotte Mart offers an extensive selection ranging from groceries to electronics.
Went here to buy some new and yummy snacks. Also checked out the rest of this place. They have a cinema, restaurants and get sell cothing, shoes, housewares and a lot more. Free garage parking with security. Very clean and well organized. Highly recommended

They have almost everything you would need. There are many options and campaigns going on. It was pity that Pizza Hut was gone but they have other restaurants as well. On the 4th floor you can find bakery and some pizza. This is a good place for shopping especially for foreigners.

Another fully loaded shopping trip Hubby found his favourite kings coffee Money well spent Variety of items Fresh food, drinks, snacks, alcohol, tea and coffee There was heaps more but didn't take photos of everything
Tarah S — Google review
You can find everything you need here: restaurants, cafés, a pharmacy, three ATMs, a large supermarket that also sells clothing and shoes, a home repair shop, and an electronics store. There’s even an indoor playground for kids on the 5th floor. The facility also features modern lockers with facial recognition for added convenience.
Vicky N — Google review
Cleanliness, lot of good foreign products, lot of parking spaces for cars. Lots of good deals are going on. Cashiers are friendly and polite, but not the bodyguard at the parking lot. He was rude and talking with bad attitude.
Ilovemyfurbabies ( — Google review
I dont know why they are allowed to ask for my passport-Lotte is not a country.
Joe S — Google review
Pretty small shopping mall. There is only one ATM on the ground floor and it did not work when I visited. On the fifth storey you can find the food court and it is small as well with only a few stands. I ordered a plate of fried rice with fried chicken thigh and surprisingly the chicken thigh bone was damn black as it had been frozen for too long and they still sold it for me. Never come back again to this food court. The supermarket on the third and fourth stories is abundant with different items. It can satisfy most of your demands. The bakery on the ground storey served different kinds of cakes and biscuits with acceptable level. If you wanna have some sweets you can come and visit. Price basically is cheaper than in SG.

Po Sah Inu Cham Towers

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Po Sah Inu Cham Towers, a 1000-year-old site, were built by the Champa people in the 8th century to worship Hindu deities like Lord Shiva and Agni. The towers offer stunning hilltop views of the valley and sea. Despite their crumbling state, they are recognized as a national architectural and artistic site. Visitors are drawn to its unique and mysterious architecture, consisting of two pointed towers and a third adjoining building.
Smaller than Mỹ Sơn complex, bigger than Nha Trang Po Nagar but not so well cared for. Buying an entrance ticket for 15.000 VNĐ you get a combo of beautiful path to the hill overlooking the lagune, gift shop run by Cham ethnic minority, Cham Hindu temples (2-3 buildings) dedicated to princess, to Shiva, and then the monument in the memory of the liberation forces attack on a French garrison in 1947, capturing 35 French troops and one machine gun. Further to the cliff there is a small tower standing, the remains of a French house once owned by Bảo Đại, the last emperor of Vietnam.
Evgenia M — Google review
The Po Sah Inu Cham Towers in Mui Ne offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s ancient Cham civilization. Located on a hill, these towers date back to the 9th century and are dedicated to Hindu gods, showcasing the intricate architecture and artistry of the Champa Kingdom. Though smaller and less crowded than other Cham sites, the towers’ red brick structure and detailed carvings make it a peaceful and historically rich destination. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including Mui Ne’s coastline, while exploring the serene grounds. While the site is relatively quiet and not heavily commercialized, it provides a unique opportunity to immerse in Vietnam’s cultural heritage. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the site in a more tranquil setting. Entry ticket per person is 15000 VNĐ

Interesting place with some history. For the best photo, just before car park there is a sign on the right leading to some steps - go up about 50 metres and you will see an arch with a beautiful view of the towers.
Edward T — Google review
Interesting place to spend an hour or two with snack, choices, clothing, and other souvenirs as well as silk scarves
Mr R — Google review
We came here with nice weather, an old monk(I presume) walked with us and invited us into the temple, the old one. I believe it’s a place can find some peaceful atmosphere, we just occasionally find this spot on the way we back to Ho Chi Minh city. With reasonable price to get in, and not so many tourists here. Only issue is they need to put some more resources in the maintenance.

Nice beach, not much garbage, the water is okay but not that clear. Lots of people here swimming and picnicking with family and friends. There are activities like zumba held at the beach. There are also people doing watersport activities like surfing. It's a very happening place and a good place for recreation especially in the evening.

It’s opposite to Sea Link hotel so many people know this beach and go to there to swim, take photos or take a rest relax with the sound of the sea. Discovering the Charm of Phan Thiet: A Hidden Gem in Vietnam Nestled along the coast of Southern Vietnam lies the quaint city of Phan Thiet. While often overshadowed by its popular neighbors like Nha Trang and Da Lat, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore the beauty of Vietnam. With its stunning beaches, rich cultural heritage, and delicious cuisine, Phan Thiet is the perfect destination for travelers seeking an authentic and off-the-beaten-path experience. One of the main draws of Phan Thiet is its beautiful beaches, which stretch for miles along the coast. The most famous of these is Mui Ne Beach, which is known for its clear waters and towering sand dunes. Visitors can go swimming, sunbathing, or take part in water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing. Another popular spot is Hon Rom Beach, which is a quieter and more secluded option. Here, you can relax and unwind in the shade of palm trees while enjoying the stunning views of the South China Sea. Aside from its natural beauty, Phan Thiet is also rich in cultural heritage. The city is home to many historic landmarks and attractions, such as the Po Shanu Cham Towers, which date back to the 8th century. These towers are a testament to the influence of the Cham people, who once ruled over this region. Visitors can also explore the Van Thuy Tu Temple, which is dedicated to the worship of whales and is a unique example of Vietnamese religious culture. Finally, no visit to Phan Thiet would be complete without sampling the local cuisine. Seafood is the main staple here, with dishes such as banh canh cha ca (fish cake noodle soup) and banh xeo (Vietnamese-style crepes) being popular options. Another local specialty is the bánh căn, which is a type of mini pancake made with rice flour and topped with various ingredients such as shrimp, squid, and green onion. These dishes are typically served at street vendors or small restaurants, giving visitors an authentic taste of local Vietnamese cuisine. In conclusion, Phan Thiet is a hidden gem in Vietnam that offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience. Points of Interest & Landmarks
Đồi Cát Đỏ, also known as the Red Sand Dunes, is a striking dune system located near the sea in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. These dunes offer a unique experience with activities such as sand sledding and breathtaking views of the sunset. Situated just a few kilometers from the city center, they are easily accessible on foot or by tour.
Very pretty! If you’re not doing the jeep tour, go during the day and it’s basically empty! We took some awesome photos.
Nilou K — Google review
The white sand dunes are definitely cool to see, and the scenery is quite unique. However, the visit is fairly quick unless you opt for activities like riding an ATV or taking a jeep tour—these are fun but can get pricey. Besides these activities, there isn’t much else to do in the area. It’s a great experience to try at least once for the views and adventure, but it’s not something I’d feel the need to revisit. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, though!
Andrei F — Google review
Red Sand Dunes. Whoever named this place clearly lost a fight with a Crayola box. Spoiler: it’s not that red. It’s more like “slightly dirty orange” or “did someone spill paprika on the beige dunes.” If you came here expecting Mars, congrats, you just landed in your neighbor’s cat litter tray after taco night. What’s actually here? Sand. Shocking, I know. A few locals selling drinks and snacks because, let’s be honest, they know you’ll cave once the sun starts deep-frying your soul. That’s it. No ATVs, no cinematic vistas, just a sandy hill and your own bad life choices. But here’s the plot twist: it’s free. And that alone makes it superior to White Sand Dunes, where you pay actual dongs just to get sunburned and robbed by gravity. Here, you just stroll in, sink into sand that looks like it gave up trying to be red, and pretend you’re cultured while sweating through your clothes. So yeah, Red Sand Dunes: still boring, still sand, but at least your wallet survives. Call it the Costco sample version of tourist traps—cheap, slightly disappointing, but somehow better than the overpriced full product.
Wade W — Google review
There are not only here to play the sand dune. this is just one of it. My driver bring here when I say I want to go to sand dune but so at first we just want to take photo and leave to the ATV place but after we takephotos. there was a local girl offering us to play the sandboarding and my friend want to play it since the price they offer is 50k/board so we think wejust want to rent for 2 board only and just take turns to play. we need to walk few minutes to arrive at place where not so many people and play there. thegirl offer to take our pictures and record videos of us playing that sandboarding. After the session end, she ask for tips and we agree to give tip100k. my friend already give 100k to her but she ask for another 100k to give to her mum. we pissed off because its too much as we are not that rich to givetip 200k easily! but because most of us are soft hearted so we give 50k more to her. that’s all. So moral of the story, if they offer to take your picture, just say no if don’t want to pay tips at the end of the game. if you want to play ATV, you need to go to other place, not here. Family had a blast! Best to go early morning when its not hot and less crowded. Free to wonder around, 50k for sled, and great scenery for desert and ocean view
James N — Google review
Very pretty but wait till you’re at the top to hire a sand board and make sure you have enough to tip the woman or she won’t like you.

Must go for sunset!!! If you get there around 5pm, it's still empty enough to enjoy it without the herds of tourists that come past 5.30pm.

Nice place and sliding but when I tipped 40k for 10 minutes (which I think is ok for Vietnam) he got angry and yelled at me to give him more. So just go alone and don’t use any service of local people as it will destroy your experience of this place.

Red Sand Dunes

I will share it at the next review.

Mui Ne Beach is a popular destination for travelers looking to relax in hotels or resorts with private beaches and swimming pools. Visitors can explore the natural beauty of the area, including the red and white dunes, tranquil fishing villages, and local markets. The Bay Mui Ne offers beachfront accommodations with easy access to attractions like Long Beach Pearl Museum and Tropical Minigolf. Guests can enjoy amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi, tour assistance, and on-site dining options.
It's a mix of both clean and not so clean beaches. Most resort adjoining the beach have maintained well. The open places are more occupied by the local fishermen. All in all a good walk during evening to enjoy the weather..

We are there to celebrate my birthday last nov. 28 we stay at Meraki Oasis Hotel who has this very beautiful infinity pool. The wave is very high and strong during that time so I dont recommend swimming on the beach. So many local seafood restaurant. This place is very accessible from HCMC so if you want to escape the bustle of the city come in this tranquil beach place.

Beach is more or less gone - there are some parts of sand at some resorts and at the western end (Kite surfing school) and at Papa Kite school, where I got my birthday Kite day! (great) The water is green brownish (5.Dec) the clouds are grey...

Beach experience was ok, water was semi clean, and the fresh seafood was delicious. Wasn’t crowded which was perfect, was very quiet and peaceful overall
James N — Google review
Stunning beautiful beach, but you can't swim. The undercurrent is so strong that just having a paddle in the water nearly takes your feet from under you. You can't sunbathe it's impossible. The wind is around 34 knts constant. The best conditions for surfing, etc. I'm not sure if the wind ever actually dies down.
Diane L — Google review
Very beautiful view 😍😍 I like it but it is not thing there that much. It is very peaceful 🤤

Dirty, a lot of dead fish & squid thrown out of the sea (I don’t know what’s causing this). Only good for kitesurfing. The sunset spot is more for swimming.
Julia K — Google review
April 2024. I couldn’t be more disappointed. It has nothing in common with the photos. Not a single palm tree. The beach is full of rubbish. It is free but simply not maintained. Next to it there are some abandoned resorts. In about 5 minutes walk you may settle on private resort beaches where there is no trash on the sand but still some in the water.

Pongour Waterfall

Nature & Parks
Pongour Waterfall, often celebrated as the Seven-Level Waterfall, is a breathtaking natural wonder located approximately 50 kilometers from Da Lat in Lam Dong. This stunning cascade features multiple tiers of water flowing gracefully over rocky formations, creating a picturesque scene that’s perfect for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike. Surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and equipped with kiosks for refreshments, visitors can enjoy picnics while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere.
I’m giving this place a 5-star with mixed feelings hoping that people will ready my review and more visitors come here in the future to drive change. The waterfalls are stunning especially during the tail of the rainy season…really a gorgeous sight. The “park” around it? My goodness…a post apocalyptic movie wouldn’t have had a better script…abandoned buildings, pieces of garbage by terrible tourists on the short path towards the waterfalls and “employees” that are busy singing karaoke rather than making a bit of an effort to keep this paradise clean. This place deserves much more than being exploited by bad tourists for a few nice selfies.
Marco R — Google review
Very peaceful place. You can't swim here and there's a bit of a trash issue but very much worth the visit to hang out here a few hours.
Joren — Google review
The waterfall was more beautiful than i thought and the countryside around it's very nice but the park is not well kept and that it's clear by witnessing the amount of trash you can find around the waterfall, really a sad and disgusting view in such a natural landscape. There are various bars but i guess none of the personnel cares about that ugly problem...It would take literally one or even half day to clean it well if all those people working there would team together. I really don't understand why many vietnamese people really do not care about keeping clean their land and even their national treasures, it is a huge problem that vietnamese society should address as soon as possible. It's often difficult to find a trash bin even in very touristy places and one of the photos below says it all.
AD — Google review
Absolutely the most scenic and majestic series of waterfalls near Da Lat. A must visit.
Vinay D — Google review
My family and I are very lucky to visit this waterfall on a sunny morning during the rainy season. It's truly a magnificent sight. The water was so clear that it looks like silver was floating down from the cliff. Such a beautiful gift from nature. There were a few groups (tours, couples) but thankfully it wasn't terribly crowded. However, we were sad to see piles of garbage scattering around everywhere in the area. A quick look at the review section shows that this situation has been highlighted for years but there's no change in sight. We tried talking to the staff about this issue but they simply told us their hands are tied...
Tam N — Google review
This is a huge and wide waterfall that is most majestic during the wetter season. As this waterfall is quite far from Dalat, best to visit it when going or coming from the airport, perhaps packaged it with airport transfer or include it as part of a day tour with hired driver.
Alice C — Google review
Worth the 90 minute ride from Da Lat. Reached 3 minutes before closing time and paid a 70k entrance fee to ride my bike right up to the waterfall. Place was almost deserted at 5pm but absolutely spectacular after the afternoon showers. Pretty cold on the way back in the dark but at least the roads were paved. Pack a raincoat and jacket if riding down
Dayrius J — Google review
This waterfall is very big and so powerful with panoramic view of water coming down from tge rocky cliff, esp. end of rainy season( mid october )it’s clear sky and strong flow of water so it’s not allowed to swim there. From parking lot, the way down to the waterfall is very shady and full with flower garden.

Very fun experience!!! Finally got to do train street. I had a glass of red wine. Got some amazing pictures/videos. The lady was very helpful taking pictures of me and my boyfriend. Good atmosphere. Handy tip! My boyfriend ordered a Hanoi beer. If you keep the bottle top and lay it onto train track before the train comes. It flattens the top making a souvenir

One of biggest main markets in Thanh Hoa city. Good place for tranditional garment and textile lovers. This market is focus on clothing, sewing , fixing and accessories for fashion in this city. The fresh food and delifood here has good quality. Snacks and desserts shops has fairy good taste and. leaniness. Closing time is quite soon. Highly reccomend visit at morning time and after 3pm.
Nicole P — Google review
Train Street in Hanoi (Southern section) is definitely an experience and worth checking out at least once. In just an hour, we saw three trains pass by—each with plenty of carriages and very close to where we were sitting. It gets crowded, though less so than the main northern stretch, and food and drinks are a bit overpriced, as expected in a touristy spot. You do need to stay seated and alert, as the train comes through fast and close. A unique, exciting place for a quick visit and some great photos and videos
John W — Google review
A must-visit experience in Hanoi. You can contact any cafe to know the train timing and book a nice seat to have the experience. Trains run too close to you and please take necessary precautions for safety. The place is easily accessible by Grab and has no restrictions like the one in the North.
Deepak K — Google review
I’m so glad I decided to go to the southern part of train street. It was much less crowded. Don’t let the first restaurant pull you in. Keep walking until you get closer to the curve in the tracks. It makes for a much better photo op. The servers of all the restaurants were great about taking pictures and helping to pose people. I was really surprised by just how close the train gets. It definitely gets your adrenaline pumping
Katie F — Google review
Must-see, must-do experience. It is unique in its own way to sit down for a coffee or a beer and watch a regular passenger train run less than an arm's length away. When we visited the best time to be there was 7pm as before 7 and 8 the were 3 trains passing by.
Daniel N — Google review
So much fun. Definitely a unique experience you can only get here in Hanoi. It is a must visit and try when you are traveling to Hanoi.

A good place to enter the Train Street to avoid crowds. No police checks, some cafe owners are pushy but you can easily chose where you want to sit.

Prenn Waterfall, located in the town of Ban Nam, Lam Ha ward, 25km from Dalat city to the southwest, is a beautiful natural attraction. The waterfall is over 30m high and about 15m wide with deep caves behind it. It offers an authentic charm and beauty that attracts tourists who want to explore Da Lat's natural form.
Water looked kind of murky but it was cool overall. You have to walk a little to the waterfall. the route isn't fully paved so be aware your shoes might get wet getting there.
Chris Z — Google review
Prenn Waterfall is still there but it has been included as a small part of Prenn Tea Resort. Not that interesting to look at as you can't do much there. Just to alert those who are going here - There are no more animals here, which is a good thing. However, you are better off going to another nearby waterfall called Datanla f u want to see one, and play some thrill rides as well.
Fir S — Google review
The waterfall is nice butnot that impressive and is part of a pricey resort... that was completly empty! Very overpriced just to see the waterfall. You can also climb 636 steps+ to get to a small temple that seems to have been built by the Tea Resort... does not look or feel genuine. The resort looks nice and is in a nice setting by the forest and the mountain. Lots of grandiose settings and a large pool. Many activities possible for people staying at the resort.
Josée C — Google review
Da Lat is a great city with lots of tourist things to see and do. However the waterfalls experience are sadly not worth the price anymore. We went by this place with the sim of visiting, we looked at the overly complicated pricing menu and just gave up. The waterfalls should be changed back to their original natural beauty, not now be part of a kids adventure tourist theme park. Definitely not worth the money which is why we did not go in 😢
Edward T — Google review
Do not enter! As with many other waterfalls around Dalat, this is a kind of amusement park. Only combi tickets are sold for VND 220,000, visiting only the waterfall (did cost VND 50,000) is no longer possible. It's a shame!
Erik — Google review
Absolutely atrocious prices 440,000 for entrance ticket to their park and the waterfall. Don't bother. Arrived at 11am and there were only two cars and no motorbikes parked up... Guess everyone hates it too! Haha Go to Datanla waterfall instead, wayyyy better and cheaper and looks more impressive too.
R. T — Google review
Aside from its far distance from the city, waterfall is not that impressive. In addition, service is terrible and staff are not friendly and cannot speak good English. You should not waste your time coming here when visiting Dalat.
Ray M — Google review
Entrance fee is high, and not worth it just to see the waterfall (which has been ruined by tacky statues). If you're interested in going to the little water park they have there, maybe it's worth it? But overall I was unimpressed.

Nestled on a hill with stunning mountain views, Truc Lam Buddhist Monastery in Dalat offers a serene escape for those seeking tranquility and spiritual enlightenment. Surrounded by picturesque gardens and located near Tuyen Lam Lake, the monastery provides a peaceful setting for meditation and self-reflection. Visitors can also take a scenic cable car ride from Robin Hill to the monastery, enjoying panoramic views of lush valleys and pine-covered hills along the way.
This is one amazing and out of the world experience. It’s a must visit if you’re in dalat. You’ll experience real bliss and peace. The shrine as well as the flower gardens are magnificent and peaceful. The occasional chimes in the background feels really good A good place to sit and forget the busy life . The shrine has a beautiful life size of Buddha. A very picturesque place
Manish T — Google review
Nice place. The monastery is located on Truc Lam Yen Tu Street, on the top of Phuong Hoang Mountain. About 5 kilometers south of the center of Dalat, it is an ideal location for visitors to come and explore. Truc Lam Zen Monastery also has an outstanding view of Tuyen Lam Lake - the most beautiful lake in Dalat, as it stands next to the lake and is surrounded by hills and forests. Truc Lam Zen Monastery’s opening hours are from 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM. It is also open for people who want to stay here and learn about Buddhism. You can ask the monks or nuns here to be allowed to stay. Initiated by the Vietnamese government in an effort to restore and promote the teachings of Zen Buddhism and Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen School, Truc Lam Zen Monastery was built from 1993 to 1994 by Zen Master Thich Thanh Tu. This pagoda has harmoniously combined different Zen schools in the world with Vietnamese culture into Vietnamese Zen.
Lukas — Google review
So beautiful and peaceful. I cried so many times. I’m thankful for the opportunity to experience the beauty of Truc Lam monastery. I visited on a spiritual and healing journey. Lots of tourists here for photo ops. The grounds ate big enough to escape them for solitude, if you desire.
Mommy P — Google review
Lots of people even on a weekday but still felt peaceful as the space is big enough. The temple itself there is nothing much to see. The garden is well maintained and very nice landscape. Spent about 30mins here. If entrance is not free I don't think it's worth a visit. After visiting the temple, I walked to nearby Tuyen lam lake. If you go to see the lake first, it is not recommended to come here as it will be a uphill walk.
Pauline L — Google review
The Bamboo Forest has a stunning view of Tuyen Lam Lake—widely regarded as the most beautiful lake in Dalat. Nestled beside the lake and surrounded by rolling hills and forests provides a peaceful retreat in nature. Admission to the temple is free. While the Dalat cable car is the most scenic way to get there, you can also drive, as there is a parking area nearby. For the best experience, consider renting a motorbike or hiring a car with a driver for the day, allowing you to explore the picturesque surroundings of the lake after visiting the monastery.
Cheiro T — Google review
Monastery was beautiful with incredible nature and bonsais surrounding it. My wife and I were able to do some pretty good birding around the monastery, seeing bulbuls, spider hunters, laughingthrushes, doves, drongos, mynas.
Kevin Z — Google review
Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Da Lat is a peaceful spot that blends nature and spirituality beautifully. Perched on a hill overlooking Tuyen Lam Lake, the monastery has wide courtyards, colorful gardens, and traditional Vietnamese pagoda-style architecture that feels calm and inviting. Walking around, you’ll notice the quiet atmosphere—it’s less about sightseeing and more about slowing down, breathing, and taking in the scenery. The view of the lake and pine-covered hills makes the whole place even more relaxing. It’s easy to get here by cable car or road, and it’s a good stop whether you’re looking for a cultural experience or just a serene break from Da Lat’s busy center.

Datanla Waterfall, located in Dalat, Vietnam, is a bustling and popular spot known for its series of small waterfalls and various activities. It offers a range of attractions such as a roller coaster, cable car, hiking trails, abseiling, rafting, and free jumping. The entrance area is touristy and developed with a packed car park, queues at the ticket office, and a busy restaurant. The waterfall has multiple levels with different activities available at each level.
This was my second time in Da Lat but my first visit to Datanla, and I truly enjoyed it! The scenery is relaxing, and the sound and view of the waterfalls were amazing. I also tried the alpine coaster, which was so much fun and made the experience even more memorable. There were quite a lot of tourists during my visit, but it was still very enjoyable overall. I recommend booking your tickets online in advance—it makes entry hassle-free and very convenient.
MA R — Google review
Nice place not too far from the city center for a bit of trekking—lol. I visited Datanla Waterfall, and at the time, they were offering a Zipline + Coaster combo for 1 million VND per person. Not exactly cheap, but a fun experience overall. The zipline route is 1.5 km in total. The first stretch is 1 km, then you walk about 500 meters to the second zipline, which takes you to Waterfall 3. The coaster starts and ends at Waterfall 3 or Parking area. If you want to visit Waterfalls 1 and 2, you’ll need to hike uphill a bit. They’re not super close, but not too far either. After exploring, you can walk back to the Coaster at Waterfall 3. With the combo, you can use coaster to go up (parking area), then if you still want to use the coaster to go down, can exchange the, kind of, receipt to another coaster ticket for free (round trip). By the way, you can ride the coaster alone, which is a nice option if you prefer a solo experience. Be aware there’s another zipline and coaster option with a shorter distance which is cheaper and you may access from the main entrance. Staff are friendly. NOTE: if you want to actually see the waterfalls in their full beauty, don’t go during dry season - you will need a bit of rain for the best views (“water-fall”).
Ngoc H — Google review
What an adventure we had at Datanla Falls, its not only about the natural beauty but also the thrill of getting there. If you’re taking the Alpine Coaster, I recommend opting for the long track it’s worth it. You pass through beautiful forested slopes and end up right at one of the most scenic waterfalls in Da Lat. We had a blast on it and was so much fun. The views along the way are fantastic and the coaster adds a layer of excitement to the experience. There are two main falls to see the second one (reachable via a shorter coaster ride or walk) features a huge King Kong statue which makes for a fun and unexpected photo stop. From there, you’ll find a mix of scenic bridges, wooden walkways, and tropical gardens that offer fantastic photo angles. The first falls are more natural and powerful, with rock platforms and small viewing terraces perfect for photos or a short rest. There’s a clear path with steps surrounded by lush greenery, making the walk very enjoyable. Both sites are clean, accessible, and well maintained. You can easily spend a few hours here if you include both falls and the coaster ride. A great mix of nature and fun definitely worth adding to your Da Lat trip. To get to the waterfall and back you need to ride the alpine coaster which cost 250k Dong per person. It is suitable and safe even for elderly. The waterfall is well maintained and have bathroom there. (They also have zipline at the waterfall)
Tommy C — Google review
My son and I purchased an adventurous package deal for 1 million and 50K VND/person (= to 40 USD), which included 1500 meters of alpine zip lining, a twisty roller coaster ride, and an admission to the upper and lower of the Datanla Water Falls. It was worthwhile and fun.
Marcus L — Google review
Datanla is one of those places that pretends to be about “nature” but actually runs on the good old pay-to-play model. You want to see the waterfall? Too bad, there’s no hiking in like a normal person. You either strap yourself to a zip line or hop on the gravity-powered toboggan. Nature with microtransactions. We chose the toboggan, 250k dongs per person. Picture a rollercoaster where you’re the operator, except you only control the brake. That’s it. Go fast, go slow, pray the guy in front doesn’t slam on his brakes because there are signs everywhere screaming “No stopping, no phones, no filming.” For once, nobody acted like a jerk, so the ride was smooth and genuinely fun. The zip line? Looks like the discount version of every travel influencer’s drone footage. You’ll scream, you’ll dangle, and you’ll pay for it. The third option, the high rope course, doesn’t even lead to the waterfall. That’s just the bonus level where you wobble on ropes in a wedgie harness designed to make you question your life choices. And the big reward at the end—the waterfall? Totally okay. It’s water falling. Nothing epic, nothing terrible. Just wet gravity. Verdict: if you’ve ever dreamed of being your own rollercoaster driver, take the toboggan. Otherwise, skip the whole thing and spend your dongs on cold beer and street food that doesn’t require a seat belt.
Wade W — Google review
Datanla Waterfall is one of Da Lat’s popular attractions, and it offers more than just a scenic waterfall. The highlight here is the alpine coaster that takes you down through the forest to reach the falls—fun, a little thrilling, and suitable for families. Once at the waterfall, the view is quite beautiful, with the sound of rushing water echoing through the greenery. The area is developed for tourism, so you’ll also find cable cars, adventure games, and walking trails if you want to spend more time. It can get busy, especially on weekends, but the organization is decent, so you won’t feel too overwhelmed. Overall, it’s a mix of natural beauty and outdoor activities—ideal if you want both sightseeing and a bit of adventure in Da Lat.
Jay Z — Google review
I loved the coaster ride to the bottom of the waterfalls. And the falls were stunning. Additional activities available include ziplining and rapelling (I did neither activity, but it sure was fun to watch).

Strolling through the pathways, you can truly appreciate the care taken to maintain this natural beauty, offering a refreshing escape from the bustling city. Indeed, the entire property, both inside and out, is well-kept and maintained. The palace itself is clean and tidy, allowing visitors to comfortably explore the various rooms. The furniture and artifacts are thoughtfully preserved, giving a sense of the grandeur and daily life of the royal family. This dedication to maintenance ensures that the historical integrity of the palace is upheld for future generations to experience. The palace effectively showcases historical things from the previous King. You'll find personal belongings, royal documents, and furniture that belonged to Emperor Bao Dai and his family. From the King's office and bedrooms to the children's rooms and the queen's quarters, each space offers insights into their lives and the political events of the time. The exhibits are well-curated, providing valuable context to the historical significance of the palace and the Nguyen Dynasty. Beyond these points, Bao Dai Palace 3 offers several other notable features: Architectural Blend: The palace showcases a harmonious blend of French colonial and traditional Vietnamese architectural styles, reflecting the period in which it was built. Its art-deco charm is evident in its simple yet elegant lines and a flat roof system. Panoramic Views: Situated on a hill, the palace offers stunning panoramic views of Da Lat city and the surrounding pine forests. From the "Vong Nguyet Lau" (Moon Viewing Tower) on the second floor, you can imagine the royal family enjoying the tranquil scenery. Insight into Royal Life: The layout of the palace provides a comprehensive understanding of how the royal family lived and worked. You can see the reception rooms, dining areas, and private quarters, giving a vivid picture of their daily routines and official duties. Peaceful Ambiance: Despite being a popular tourist destination, the palace retains a peaceful and reflective atmosphere. The combination of historical significance and natural beauty makes it an ideal spot for a leisurely visit and contemplation. Cultural Significance: The palace served as a venue for important political events and diplomatic meetings during Emperor Bao Dai's reign, making it a significant site in Vietnamese history. In conclusion, Bao Dai Palace 3 is a highly recommended attraction in Da Lat for anyone interested in Vietnamese history, culture, and architecture. Its beautiful gardens, meticulous upkeep, and rich historical exhibits make for a truly insightful and memorable visit.

Visiting Bao Dai Palace in Da Lat was like stepping into a preserved chapter of Vietnam’s royal past. It was fascinating to walk through the home where Emperor Bao Dai and his family once lived, surrounded by pine forests and beautifully manicured gardens. The palace is well maintained and still holds much of its original charm. Inside, the rooms are decorated with the original 1930s–1940s furniture and layout, giving a glimpse into the royal lifestyle. You can explore two levels of the residence, including the reception areas, bedrooms, study rooms, and even the old bathroom and kitchen — all kept as they were when in use. The rooms are roped off but visible, and many have informative signs or portraits to give historical context. What stood out were the vibrant carpets, mid-century armchairs, and elegant views out to the lush gardens. Outside, the gardens are immaculately landscaped and full of bright flowers, trimmed hedges, and stone walkways — a peaceful place to slow down and take it all in. Set aside at least 60 to 90 minutes to explore properly. It’s not only a palace—it’s a time capsule, and definitely worth visiting while in Da Lat.

Many tourists visit here. Its worth visiting if you have spare time in Dalat. Yet if you are here for only a day or two, I recommend trying other places instead. I would say it is not something so unique or special relatively compared with places like the Crazy house etc.

Beautifully conserved palace in art deco style of the last emperor of Vietnam Well kept green grounds, a must visit if in Saigon.

I was taken here on a group tour. It's an ugly 1930's building with very tired, unremarkable interiors. Unless I missed it there's no historical or cultural significance whatsoever. So rather baffling that it's a tourist attraction. The best thing about this place was the cheesy instrumental covers of western pop songs playing on a speaker in front of the building. One to avoid - don't believe the propaganda in the other reviews.

Entrance with fee. Have to wear shoes covered upon entrance. It is a mansion, not really a palace. Have displayed cutletries, vases, etc. Have rooms of office, dining rooms, lounges etc. The surrounding area was well kept with pine trees, beautiful flowers, and greens. Very nice healthy environment

Although I don't really like the life of this last king of the Nguyen dynasty, this palace was well-preserved in very good condition. It showcased how luxury the Royal family's life used to be. Worth a try if you're interested in history.

Crazy House, also known as Hang Nga Guesthouse, is a must-see attraction in Da Lat. Designed by Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga, this offbeat guest house resembles a surreal fairy tale with its unique architecture reminiscent of a giant tree. The design draws inspiration from nature and has been compared to the styles of Antoni Gaudi and Salvador Dali. Visitors can spend about an hour exploring the complex, admiring the winding bridges and sculpted elements throughout.
Visited as guest for sightseeing. Amazing design with go-wild creativity. Feels like a playground. Entrance fee is 80k per adult. Recommended for one-two hours visit. Especially on a gloomy day. Btw though some reviews mentioned but I couldn't find its tickets on klook.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in the Bear Room. I was expecting this to be a rather unique stay but it far exceeded my expectations. It’s a very charming place to spend a few nights. The staff are very warm and welcoming, the room was very comfortable and the bear wasn’t even creepy to stare the room with at night - he was very cute around the clock! I knew to expect visitors passing by during the day and trying to get into the room and it didn’t bother us at all, it was part of the experience.

This place was one on my favorite spot in Vietnam, clearly they have a culture of sculptures (by the religion, art, etc) and this place I found it really unique. Be prepared to walk a lot and has so many stairs, so we spent a lot of time there. Even was turistic it felt really unique and was so cool the arquitect was a woman :) My friend and I enjoyed a lot our time there. This is a must if you’re in Dalat ! Probably I’ll get super early to avoid a large crowd. The only downside the staff were quite dismissive, you get use to the good hospitality in general in Vietnam and this place seems they are tired of tourist people, but we will give 5 stars anyway.
Emilia G — Google review
I visited not as a guest, but out of curiosity about this very impressive building and its structures. It turned out to be truly admirable — the creativity that must have gone into making it is mind-blowing. Although I thought it was great, it’s a shame that you can’t pay for tickets using a credit card or Apple Pay. It seems quite common here that only cash is accepted, which isn’t ideal for convenience.
Carl S — Google review
The name is on the lid, not the whole room, but ALL HOUSE WAS CRAZY!!! Amazing architecture done here and its a great experience to be able to wake up first thing in the morning and experience this while the sun is rising, without the crowd of tourists that arrive during the day. All staff were amazingly friendly/helpful/loved a chat. The only downside I can say is that the area gets swarmed by tourists during the day, but if you get out and explore the surroundings, it wont be an issue for you at all! 10/10.

We’ve been to this place 2. And loved it each time. It’s very qwerky- if you get vertigo you would not be able to enjoy it to the fullest. There are walkways across the tops of the building roofs. With concrete ropes to hold on to. There’s a room where the floor has a giant shark and a large octopus. It’s a lot of fun. Highly recommend.
Melissa S — Google review
The house was crazier than we had imagined! The older kids had a great time playing hide and seek, there is literally not a better place on earth to do this. Not suitable for those who cant climb stairs and small children (below 3yo) as the narrow windy staircases are not exactly standard step sized... and neither are the hand rails... We did not stay here. Too many stairs to get to your room, IMO.
Jessica L — Google review
Such an amazing history. The artist that created this place is amazing and truely inspiring. You may get a little lost and the stairs are high but if you take your time you will enjoy it. We spent about 1.5hrs there but could have spent 2 if it had not started to rain.

St. Nicholas Cathedral of Da Lat

Catholic cathedral
Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the heart of Da Lat, Vietnam, the Da Lat Diocese Cathedral, also known as St. Nicholas Cathedral or the Dalat Chicken Church due to its distinctive chicken-topped bell tower, is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture dating back to 1931. This historic church stands as one of the oldest Catholic structures in Vietnam and serves as the cathedral for the local bishop.
We walked past this church on a Sunday afternoon while a ceremony was taking place. Many locals from the city had gathered to join the service. ⛪ The atmosphere was calm, respectful, and truly heartwarming. 🌿 It turned out to be a very beautiful and meaningful place, both spiritually and architecturally.
K T — Google review
There are five masses every Sunday and I could not get inside since I believe they would only open for masses which is a bit of a pity since Cathedral are meant to open to public for prayers and so on. Its original name seems to be Saint Nicholas Cathedral. Long ago, there was a cemetery all around the edifice. It's likely to be replaced by many, many benches present outside the cathedral and other little buildings behind it. Would that be a way to give the deceased one a place to rest forever instead of the old cemetery mentioned above? I will gladly put the highest five stars when I would be able to go inside and get the beauty in front and above both my eyes. That's what the Bible says, always contemplate what will happen in front and above your eyes after all.
Guimo-D B — Google review
I visited Con Ga Church on Sunday afternoon, and it was quite crowded as a service was taking place. Despite the number of people, the atmosphere remained peaceful and solemn, creating a serene experience in the heart of the city. The church's Gothic architecture is impressive, with its tall bell tower and beautiful stained-glass windows. The spacious courtyard also offers a nice view of Da Lat. Since a service was in progress, I couldn't explore much inside, but I could still appreciate the sacred and historical ambiance of the place. For those who want a quieter visit, it might be better to come at a less busy time. Overall, it's a wonderful place to visit, combining architectural beauty with a tranquil atmosphere, even when crowded.
Lee L — Google review
The church in Da Lat can be said to be striking with its color too. In addition to its striking color, this church is still active. If we were there yesterday, we could only visit the outer area. But in the outer area, if we want to sit and pray, we can. Because there is a garden area that we can sit in. One of the places we can visit when we go to Da Lat.

I visited on Easter Sunday and saw a big mass happening and it was really special to witness. I heard this is one of the oldest and most iconic cathedrals in Da Lat, and it definitely has a historical charm. The architecture is stunning, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a lovely place to stop by, whether you’re religious or just love beautiful buildings. Worth a visit!

It’s a good idea to bring a snack and just spend the entire afternoon there and then head to the night market for dinner and some more fun.

The Dalat Market is an important place to visit in Dalat, Vietnam. It's a popular spot for shopping and also a great place to experience the culture and life of local residents. The market opens at 5 PM and closes at 9 PM, so it's best to visit during evening hours. If you're looking to bargain, be prepared - this is definitely not a market where prices are set in stone!
Very near Dalat Market, super crowded. They have colourful rainbow rice, yoghurt drink Sua Gao Quan, handsome man grilling sausage which we actually revisited!! I’m drooling doing this review almost a month later. So delicious….🤤
Kong S — Google review
Visiting Dalat Night Market was such a memorable experience – the cool weather, street food, and the sight of locals sitting along the roadside enjoying their meals gave us the real taste of Dalat life. We tried sticky rice with sausage, chicken floss, and lotus seeds – simple yet delicious comfort food. What made our visit extra special was the coincidence of a performance for Vietnam National Day 🎉🇻🇳. The steps in front of the market were filled with people, flags, music, and a festive atmosphere – truly a unique way to experience local culture. Beyond food, the market is also great for strolling, shopping for clothes, souvenirs, and flowers, or simply soaking up the lively evening vibe. 🌟 Tip: Wear warm clothes, bring cash, and come with an appetite – Dalat Night Market will not disappoint!

The Dalat Night Market is very lively and crowded. There are lots of food stalls, but many of them sell almost the same types of dishes and snacks. Besides food, you can also find clothes, puffer jackets, flowers, souvenirs, accessories, and local treats. It’s a nice place to walk around, enjoy the atmosphere, and try some street food, but don’t expect too much variety.

Loved this market! We have been visiting markets in Vietnam for several years and know that each market has its own vibe. We came 2 times. Once just to do a walk through (we did get a little lost), then to do a mini shop (those fabulous dried persimmons). The vendors were all very kind.

enjoyed the food but becareful of scammers we were scammed and was billed double the price. specifically for that picture of us sitting in the table and eating those we were charged 300k+ VND the i ask how much the noodles he said 100k i showed the price in the menu that shows 50k he said for small one but did not ask us if we want big or small.

This night market offers a variety of fruits, clothes, and snacks. However, the snack selection isn't very diverse. The prices are affordable, and you can easily find hot soy milk. It gets quite crowded on weekdays.

It's a huge market 24×7 it remains open. Shopping street is beautiful✨. Good eateries and fashion shops are here. Very interesting food with a variety of fruits... Very nice and I must recommend visiting once.

We went to this night market after we had dinner at nearbyHalal restaurant there. We just walk for 350m until the roundabout. They sell plenty of things including cloth, food, souvenir, fruits and many more. There are sellers who sells in a shop, and there are alsosellers who sell things on the ground. About the price, most of it is reasonable and you still can ask for discounts but for me its already cheap. For instance, a cute sling bag only sells at 20kVND which less than USD1. Most seller is kind and didn’t force you to buy unlike at HCM. The market is soolong and you might need to spend few hours if you like shopping. Please be careful with pickpocket. I like the ambience in this night market because theyhave a big space and can cater many buyers at the same time. I didn’t try any food here because most of it is non halal and there are some food with weirdsmell that I never smell it before. There is a toilet inside the starbucks building. also there is a photo booth you can take pictures there with yourfriends. there is a stairs where you can while enjoy the night market scenery. there are also many hotels along the night market. highly recommended to come ifyou are first timer in dalat.

Xuan Huong Lake, a crescent-shaped reservoir built in 1919 and named after an anti-establishment poet, offers a romantic and nostalgic atmosphere surrounded by green pine trees. It is fed by the Cam Ly Stream and provides a peaceful escape in central Vietnam's tourist-centric city. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls along the 4.5-mile circumference trail, relax at nearby coffee shops, take pedal boats on the lake, or explore the area on tandem bicycles.
A peaceful, pleasant and very nice place to relax. People often come here to take photos or exercise, especially running around the lake. It can get a bit busy at times, though. There’re benches where you can sit and enjoy the view. Walking along the lake, you’ll occasionally find street vendors selling local Vietnamese desserts—usually around 20k each. Not exactly cheap, but it seems to be the standard price in the Dalat city center. There aren’t any gym equipment stations here —maybe they want to keep it a purely scenic and relaxing spot.

Xuan Huong Lake lies gently at the heart of Da Lat, like a soft ribbon draped across this dreamy city. In the early morning, the lake is calm like a mirror, reflecting the blue sky and whispering pine trees. The air is cool and fresh, carrying the delicate scent of grass and flowers – the signature charm of Da Lat. People often walk or ride bicycles around the lake, or simply sit quietly by the water, breathing in the peace of the moment. As the afternoon fades, the golden glow of sunset falls over the surface of the lake, creating a romantic and serene atmosphere. Xuan Huong Lake is not only beautiful – it’s a place where memories are made. Whether it’s a warm cup of soy milk shared with a friend, gentle laughter in the mist, or a quiet moment alone with your thoughts – it’s the kind of place that stays in your heart.

Walking along the lakebank in the early morning, you can really feel the calmness set in—it’s a great way to relieve stress. Highly recommended. However, please be careful not to stand too close to the edge. There have been accidents where people fell into the water and sadly lost their lives.

Such a pretty serene lake and must visit in Da Lat! It shows different shades of beauty in different time of the day.. We enjoyed early morning time more. If have enough time and staying in nearby accommodation, please take a walkaround the entire lake loop. Views are different from each side and breathtaking. We stayed few days for Christmas holiday and everyday used to spent good amount of time exploring different banks of it. At evening, hawker ladies sell bbq corns, shrimp, sweet potatoes which are delish. Can enjoy boat ride also. Current is really strong due to super windy weather, please be careful during boat ride

Sights & Landmarks
Nestled in the picturesque city of Dalat, Vietnam, the Dalat Railway Station stands as a testament to the region's French heritage. This historic station, dating back to 1932 and designed by renowned French architects Moncet and Reveron, is not only the oldest Indochinese station but also holds the distinction of being the highest in altitude within Vietnam at 1,500 meters above sea level.
Popular, a lot of local and international visitors. Bought tickets with return. Nice 30 min vintage train trip. Beautiful landscape with a lot of greenhouses. Manage your time at the destination point (Trai Mat Station) to visit some attractions - Linh Phuoc Temple, Arboretum Vuon Hoa Cam Tu Cau Moi or Cao Dai Temple of Da Lat. I would recommend 👌
VB A — Google review
The railway station is a charming spot to visit, though it has changed a bit since I was here two years ago. Back then, it was free and open to the public, but now there’s a small entrance fee, likely to help with maintenance and the lovely gardening. While there isn’t much to explore, it’s a great place for photos, especially with the vibrant flowers in the front and the iconic building in the background. Inside, you can check out the vintage train, which adds to the nostalgic vibe. There are also vendors selling handmade crafts, which makes for a nice touch. It’s a quick stop but worth visiting if you enjoy history and photo-worthy spots.
Jamie H — Google review
Would not waste time or money here unless you are a dressed up Vietnamese girl or bus tourist whose sole goal is to take innumerable selfies with the flowers out front. Literally any European train station is more architecturally impressive and better maintained. Station is gated off for entry without buying a ticket only to be granted access to go in.
Dasha P — Google review
If you take a private car to visit Chùa Linh Phước, the journey takes only about 10 minutes. However, we chose to travel by train, which took around 30 minutes. The experience was fantastic. The historic small railway station evokes memories of the colonial era. Today, the station is adorned with vibrant flowers, highly Instagrammable. While beautiful, the modern touches seem somewhat out of place compared to its old world charm.

Inside, there is exhibition about the past of railway station and audiovisual Display about train travel in vietnam. Further to the platform, there are bogies and train, transforming into cafe, icecream and sweet shop and there is a place to boarding tourist train which takes about1-2hours for RT trip.

Chùa Linh Phước is a renowned pagoda in Dalat, Vietnam, known for its stunning mosaic art created from shattered glass and pottery. It is a popular attraction along with the Truc Lam Zen Monastery, offering visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the tranquility and wisdom of Buddhism. The pagoda's intricate mosaic artwork captivates every visitor, while the monastery provides a serene environment for meditation and self-reflection.
No entry fee. Convenient to go by Grab or local trains. Unique Chinese temple with all the glass made decoration. Its style and colouring are liked the churches in Spain. Visitors can experience how the local worshippers admire their god via the decent and detail-minded statue. One of the 觀音 statue is made of fresh chrysanthemum flowers, very impressive. Don’t forget to visit the “18 levelled hell” inside the basement exhibition hall. Worthy to pay a visit.

Linh Phước Temple in Da Lat is one of the most striking and intricately designed temples I’ve ever visited. When we arrived, it was extremely busy, buses, motorbikes, and cars all trying to squeeze into the last available parking spots. Despite the crowd, the atmosphere remained peaceful and respectful. The temple is covered in vibrant, detailed mosaic artwork made from glass, pottery, and tiles, every surface is a visual feast. The grounds begin with a peaceful garden filled with flowers and fruit trees, followed by an area selling religious and gemstone items. We entered the main worship hall next (note: shoulders and knees must be covered and shoes removed). Inside stood a serene golden Buddha with a halo, surrounded by ornate pillars and wall murals. The bell tower is another highlight. Visitors can write wishes on slips of paper, attach them to the protective film wrapped around the bell, and ring it for good luckyI rang it twice, just in case! The most breathtaking part was the giant standing Buddha, surrounded by rows of golden statues across multiple levels. There’s even a towering Buddha statue made entirely from dried flowers. Linh Phước Temple is not just a place of worship, it’s a living masterpiece. Definitely worth the trip.

This is one of our Dalat must-go pagodas. It is a historic Buddhist temple famous for its unique mosaic architecture, created from thousands of broken ceramic pieces and colored glass. They also have the Guinness world record for the most chrysanthemum built Guan Yin statue. The majestic Guan Yin hall was grand and spectacular. We also visited their collection hall as well as the 18 Level of Hell. Highly recommend.

I definitely recommend visiting this place. Be advised there is basement floor (B1 and B2) to visit for free. The place is reachable by train which departs at 09:55. Make sure you buy one way ticket at the entrance because the train heading back down is only an hour apart and there usually is not any other train there. It takes 30 minutes to get there so you will roughly only have 15 ~ 20 minutes on site if you choose round trip. You will find Grab taxis around the Temple for your way back.
Tommy C — Google review
A very interesting and beautiful place. I definitely recommend visiting it and not necessarily as part of a tour. Free entrance. We went by taxi on our own. Beautiful and very atmospheric. Lots of statues. There is an opportunity to go down to hell. It is better to go in good weather.

Linh Phước Temple in Da Lat is one of the most striking temples I’ve visited in Vietnam. The entire complex is decorated with intricate mosaics made from broken ceramics, glass, and porcelain, giving it a colorful and almost surreal look. Every corner reveals another layer of detail, from the tall dragon statues to the stunning 49-meter tower. Inside, the main hall is filled with ornate statues and carvings, creating a spiritual yet visually overwhelming atmosphere. The temple also has a giant bell where visitors can write their wishes before ringing it, which feels both symbolic and memorable. It’s a bit outside the city center, but definitely worth the visit if you want to see something truly unique in Da Lat—both for its artistry and its spiritual significance.

Beautiful architecture- pictures said it all in the other comments What cannot be missed? Spend some time to go down to the basement, you’ll discover ‘HELL’, literally. Find the ‘Ox head and horse face’, the guardians of the underworld, and discover the eery world of the afterlife. No entrance fee. Free parking but do remember to take your bike before the parking locks at 17:30 😉

Valley of Love, located just 6 km from Dalat city in Vietnam, is a romantic park known for its whimsical art, ornate gardens, and a lake where visitors can ride swan-shaped boats. Surrounded by the charming Da Thien lake and endless pine forests, the valley offers a picturesque and poetic scenery that has made it a popular destination for marriage proposals and honeymoons.
Excellent peaceful park. There is an entrance fee. You should look at the map before exploring the area. You need to walk down to get a buggy. It will bring you around the area and have a stop at the miniature buildings in the world. The trees and flora are well kept and very beautiful. They even put animal sculptures along the areas. Awesome There is a museum with statues of famous people like trump, Beckham, mr bean etc

Very nice place and big. You have small buses to take you to the far places. Good experience. You have couple of options for the tickets. We took one that included the glass bridge and it cost us 400,000 dong.

Tucked away just about 5 km northeast of the city centre of Da Lat (7 Mai Anh Đào Street, Ward 8, Lâm Đồng Province), the Valley of Love is a dreamy, romantic landscape that blends natural beauty, historical intrigue and leisure activities — ideal for couples, families and those wanting a reflective escape. Originally in the 1930s the area was known by the French as “Vallée d’Amour” (“Valley of Love”), because French-colonial couples used to come here for weekend outings. During the reign of Emperor Bảo Đại it was briefly dubbed “Valley of Peace” (Hoa Bình Valley). In 1953, under the initiative of the then-town council chairman Nguyễn Vy, the name was officially changed to “Valley of Love” (Thung Lũng Tình Yêu) as part of a wider movement to replace French-language place names. The valley is nestled among pine-covered hills and, following a dam constructed in 1972, a lake called Đa Thiện Lake was created in the valley floor which enhanced the scenic effect of water + forest + hills. Walking in, you’ll notice the broad lawns, the lake with swan boat rides, and the iconic “Love Lock” bridge where couples affix padlocks as a symbol of enduring affection. On the hill side, the trail up to Vọng Cảnh Hill takes you through pine forest and flower fields; from the top you’ll get sweeping views of the valley and lake below. The gardens often include hydrangeas, lavender, maze-gardens and themed statues for photography. For the more active, there are horse-rides around the meadow, cable wires, paintball, zip-line games, team-building areas and more. The Valley of Love delivers a relaxed, slightly whimsical vibe: the cool climate of Da Lat (average ~18-21°C) fills the air, the pines give a soft rustle, the lake reflects cloud and tree. For honeymooners or couples it evokes a gentle romantic escape; for families or friends it offers enough variety of activities. That said, if you’re seeking deep wilderness or solitude, you might prefer some of Da Lat’s less-visited corners — this valley is a popular and therefore well-developed destination, not raw wilderness. Getting there: From the city centre it’s a short ride; follow Mai Anh Đào Street toward Ward 8. Best time: Because of its elevation and forest setting you’ll get comfortable weather year-round; flower seasons (e.g., mimosa bloom) offer extra charm. Entry cost: As of recent reports the adult ticket can run around VND 250,000 (includes some rides) though children/discounts vary — always good to check current rate. Visitors should allocate at least 2-3 hours to wander the grounds, take photos, possibly ride a swan boat, and relax on the hill vantage point. Consider visiting earlier in the day to avoid crowds and to enjoy the light on the lake. The Valley of Love is exactly what its name promises: a scenic, tranquil spot in Da Lat where nature, history and romance merge. It is charming without being overly extravagant, accessible yet substantive. Whether you’re on a romantic getaway, a family outing or simply want to escape the bustle for a while, it offers a memorable stop. If I had one small caveat: as it is popular, some areas can feel a bit commercialised — but its natural setting still holds firm. A very worthy addition to any Da Lat itinerary.

Beautiful, popular well developed historic attraction. The large territory. Minibuses 🚐 use to move and look around the Park. Everything is well organised. Souvenirs shops, cafes, toilets 🚻, rest areas. The longest glass bridge 🌉 in Dalat for additional fees. A lots of replicated well known buildings, monuments and statues constructed here. Fresh air. I would really recommend 👌

If you are a tourist, do you waste your time here, utterly pointless, no proper flowers or something to look. Despite of the rain they sold the ticket with the glass bridge, which is not safe when its heavily raining with lightning. It’s absolutely nothing to see 400k VDN.in vain

The ticket seller was a fraud. He told us that there is a zipline for children and also Marriott cars. After I entered, it became clear that children cannot play on the zipline and also children cannot play on the Marriott cars.

Depending on time of year it can be very touristy and people push in front when waiting for the free buses. A bit tacky but the drinks and food are priced well.

Lang Biang Peak is a towering mountain that offers breathtaking views of the scenic highlands. The summit can be accessed via a steep hiking trail or by hiring a jeep ride. Visitors must be careful while driving to the entrance, as there are digging paths along the road. Upon arrival, visitors can park their motorcycles at the entrance and pay an entrance fee plus Jeep fare for up to six people to reach the top.

The Valley of Love in Da Lat feels like a magical escape, a place that immediately fills you with warmth and joy. From the moment you step in, there’s a sense of excitement in the air, with bursts of color and whimsical sculptures creating an almost dreamlike atmosphere. Strolling through the valley, you can’t help but feel a little lighter, swept up by the romance and beauty surrounding you. The sparkling lake invites you to paddle along its calm waters, and as you drift, there’s a quiet peace that settles over you, matched only by the soft rustling of pine trees. Couples share laughter on cozy benches, families bond over photos, and friends walk along paths lined with heart-shaped flower beds, each soaking in the valley’s playful charm. Every corner of the Valley of Love offers a new surprise, from hidden nooks for quiet moments to open areas alive with color and life. By the time you leave, you feel recharged, as if you've experienced a little piece of paradise. This valley isn't just a place to visit; it’s a place to feel, enjoy, and remember.
