Kuldiha wildlife sanctuary is approximately 30 km away from Panchalingeswar in Odisha. Visited recently at the time of Holi. Great experience with feeling of jungle without the usual crowd of tourists. Personal vehicles are allowed inside sanctuary but you need a local guide as many areas in the forest are declared as core area & no entry zone. Guide has to be arranged from Balasore or Panchalingeswar, not provided by forest Dept. Spotted many giant squirrels playing in the trees. This jungle is natural habitat of giant squirrels. Lot of birds to excite all nature lovers. Lucky to spot a Crested serpant eagle. One can stay deep inside the jungle in spacious tents at Rissia Nature camp. Books is online. Best time to see animals is early morning and afternoon till sunset. Entry time 7 AM onwards, exit time 5 PM.

Very very very exciting place. It's start from panchalingeswar. Have to go by foot upward by 30 to 40 minutes to reached the view place. It's a combined experience of walk through jangle and climb a hill. Artificial sound less place and with various natural sounds different types of trees surrounded by you and narrow hilly road will just charming u along the journey. After the end of journey at the view point all the hard work u have done will come to a loving conclusion.

The forest 🌳 covers a huge area with pleasant greenery and handful of wildlife like colourful giant squirrels, dear, elephant 🐘, peacocks, few kind of birds 🐦, colourful wild hens etc. One would be spellbound by the scenic beauty of the Rishiya Dam especially during sun set. I would love to go back there again....

All the old residents and devotees of India Baripada who have faith in Maa Ambika, everyone says to Goddess Ambika that Mata Ambika is very old means she has not even been born. Meaning his generation after generation his father is older than him. His father was the king who was ruling in Maharaja Mayurbhanj. The king of Mayurbhanj had come to Mata Rani and built a temple and established it there. Since then it has been about one and a half hundred and two hundred years to worship here. Here all the devotees would have accomplished all the work by calling the goddess with reverence.

The location is the best and undoubtedly the rooms are filled with royalty and are equally huge but when it comes to maintenance,it's pathetic and especially if you're opting of an extra bed, you'll find mice under the sofa cum bed all day. The food is good but they'll forget to provide your complimentary water bottles but bill you for extra bottles. Please go through the bill thoroughly.

Short review: You'll have a negative experience, opt for literally any other place. Long review: Let's talk about the good things first: People of the service industry are very good and well natured. The rooms are visually pretty, if you don't plan on staying there. Bathroom is also good. Onto the long list of bad things: The managerial staff's behaviour is appalling, but not more than the absolute irresponsibility of the owners. The food options were criminally limited, and the three days we stayed were full of potatoes and a couple of disastrous food items. The "complimentary breakfast" isn't really complimentary when half the things don't arrive on time, or when they get over. The 2 ACs in our suite were damaged. One had water falling from it, the other one's flap was damaged. The most unnerving part of the stay is the lack of wifi. There is no wifi, even though my phone could detect some 2-3 routers in the property. The owners living upstairs have their wifis, but the same courtesy has not been extended to guests paying unnecessarily extra amount of money to stay in the property. The behaviour of the temple staff on property was mean spirited as well. We had problems after problems, and not once did the owners deem it polite or courteous to address anything. There aren't enough things to visit near the rajbari anyway, so I advice you to choose another place. Overpriced and basically a scam. They took even the gst amount when we booked, but our stay was after the gst rules had changed. We had to argue for half an hour before they agreed to return the extra gst amount.

We had originally booked a 3-night stay in December last year, which we unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute due to a friend's emergency surgery. At the time, we were informed that while a refund could not be issued, our booking amount would be kept open and could be used for a future stay, subject to availability. However, when we called on 16th June to rebook for the first weekend of September, we were told that no rooms were available due to "peak season" and that it was too late to book. This was quite surprising — over two and a half months in advance hardly qualifies as a last-minute request, and the first weekend of September, three weeks before the Puja holidays, being labeled as peak season seems questionable. Frankly, it feels like if we hadn’t already paid, availability would not have been an issue. We are disappointed by how this has been handled. We expected a more reasonable and accommodating approach, especially under the circumstances. The person who responded to my call today said that the policy of availing the alternative dates before April was communicated to us. That is not true. Nothing about availing the dates before April was told, and as the whatsapp communication attached shows - no reply was given nor any policy regarding re-booking before April was messaged. It would not have been possible though, because the person who underwent the surgery has very recently recovered and is fit to travel. But such haughty people in hospitality service is not concerned about that of course - as long as they get to keep the money and can stick to their policy.

Dimna Lake is a serene spot surrounded by lush hills, perfect for relaxation and picnics. The best time to visit is winter and post-monsoon when the water level is high. Summer is less appealing due to heat, but mornings and evenings remain pleasant.

I believe we came to visit in wrong season because water level was very low and can see the ground in some places. Assuming this winter and post monsoon season might be the best time to come here. However, the place is a beauty nonetheless. The seasonal shortcomings failed to fade the charm of this lake. Even though created artificially as part of some industrial requirements however, nature took it upon itself to beautify it.

Very nice and huge zoo and a great experience for kids. Can spend all the day. Ideal time to see animals in 11 am to 4 pm, post which they go to their cage for food. It's better if you can walk and roam , they also have boogie cars inside , 400 rupees per car for 8 seats.

Tata Zoological Park is a small but very beautiful and well-maintained zoo in Jamshedpur. The place is clean, peaceful, and perfect for a short nature outing. The animals here look really healthy and well cared for — you can tell by just looking at them that the staff takes great care of their health and surroundings. 🐯🦓 We visited almost near closing time, so many animals had already gone back to their cages for feeding, but it was still a lovely experience. There’s also a good arrangement for visitors who prefer not to walk — 7-seater electric cars are available to take you around the zoo, which is a great facility for families and elderly people. 🚗🌿 Overall, it’s a cute and calm zoo, great for kids, families, and animal lovers. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Jamshedpur! 💚

The park was just average. in my honest opinion not well maintained the animals are not that healthy or energetic. Lots of people are eating outside food in the park and thrashes are thrown carelessly. getting vehicle tours is a long and time taking process but the drivers are good and very helpful. the fees are affordable.

Such a disappointed visit !!! Since the animals were aggressive the safari’s are closed for the time being. The museum was also closed. They allowed to take our car inside and the fees for car was 600/- and then per person 10/-. The only thing we are supposed to do was go till the top of the mountain to see the temple and the view from there, which we didn’t proceed after travelling few kilometres inside. Types of Deers kind of became sight of sore eyes 👀. Parking space available and small food and drinks shop is also there. I could see samosa and some other fried items were also there. Lavatories are available too.

We spontaneously planned a weekend road trip from Kolkata to Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary. We left Kolkata on a Saturday morning at 6:30 AM and arrived around 2:00 PM, including a few stops along the way. Our breaks included Kolaghat and the Jharkhand border, where we had lunch at Delhi Darbar Dhaba. 1) Accommodation Since it was a last-minute plan, we booked a mud house online a week in advance for ₹600. Upon arrival, we paid an additional ₹900 for the room and a ₹600 car access fee for the sanctuary, which was valid until the next day. 2)Food We had a delicious dinner at the JH Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary Research Development Center campus, where the bamboo houses are located. The meal was truly tasty, consisting of chicken curry, vegetable curry, and aloo choka. 3) Exploring Dalma On our first day, we explored the local areas and Chandil Dam, where we enjoyed boating. The next morning, we drove to the hilltop. You can take your car all the way to the top, where you'll find a watchtower and temples dedicated to Hanuman Ji and Shiva Ji. The views made it feel like we were in a North Bengal hill station! After returning to the mud house, we checked out and headed to Dimna Lake. This was our enjoyable 2-day, 1-night trip. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is a great option for a weekend road trip!

Close to Jamshedpur, the Dalma Sanctuary is the best elephant habitat in Jharkhand. The pachyderms love to spend their summer here. Unlike Palamau that usually reels under a scorching sun, it continues to be pleasant at Dalma with temperatures mostly under 300C. Elephants migrate to this sanctuary because of the availability of water during summer. The next best choice for getting the closest possible. January To December 9:00am To 5:00pm.

If you like thrilling then visit during monsoon but that time safari remain close you can visit only Dalma hill top, Oct is the best time if you like safari and want to see wild elephant.

Peaceful in greenery around. It's a different experience which one should experience specially the jungle safari. Better to take guide and do the safari in their designated safari jeeps. As they know the spots where you can get to watch the elephants and other animals and birds. Going by your own vehicle for the safari will be costing @ 600/ per vehicle and then tickets for individuals. The best is the Hill top here where you can enjoy the Sunset.

My visit to Dassam Falls was an amazing experience. The surroundings are very clean, the views are stunning, and nature is truly beautiful. There are many shops selling packed food items, but I was happy to see no wrappers or litter nearby — the place is well maintained. A perfect spot to enjoy nature peacefully!

Impressive waterfall on Kanchi river at just about 40 kms from Ranchi. Definitely in the second league after the powerfull Arhirapally, Dudhsagar etc. One can go and enjoy near the river bank with water brushing the feet. Extremely enjoyable and relatively safe waterfall. Adequate care has been taken to construct viewing area and stairs with railing.

The Perva Ghagha Falls looks very beautiful, it seems as if we are in Switzerland, the blue water here is the center of very attractive, the water falling from the high rocks looks very attractive and the flowing rivers make the atmosphere here quite musical. Its main attraction is a statue of a chariot present in its premises 7 horses. This temple was built amazing and presently. This pond also serves as a sacred place for Chhathavratis.

Pahari mandir is one of the best spiritual place in Ranchi.This temple is on top of the hill,temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. location is very nice, the view is also very good.It takes 400 steps to reach the top of the temple.Amazing City view at the top.You all must go and see it once....

It's a nice place with majestic spiritual essence. Located at a distance of 4.5-5kms from Ranchi Railway Station. A Temple of Lord Shiva at the top of the Hill, also known as Pahari Baba. There are several steps to reach to the top. It's easy for young ones but tough for the elder peoples to go there. You can have a scenic view of the Town Ranchi from the top of the hill. If someone go to Pahari mandir feels the positive vibes.I  must appreciate the Architecture. Devotees must go . So many stall over there wherein one can find almost everything to worship lord Shiva. To tell you the truth, this temple is very beautiful. This is Mahadev ji's temple.To go to this temple, you have to climb a few steps. That means you have to go to the top of the mountain. You will get a very beautiful city view from here. You will get the most beautiful city view of the whole of Ranchi from this temple. If you don't believe it, then you can go here and see it. Visited Kanke Dam during my bike ride through Ranchi, and it instantly became one of those peaceful places you remember long after leaving. The road leading to the dam is smooth and scenic, with small local tea stalls along the way. I crashed at my friend’s place just beside kanke dam and just watched the sunset paint everything gold. The crowd is mixed — couples, locals on evening walks, and travellers looking for quiet corners. What makes Kanke Dam special is its simplicity — no flashy decorations, just raw, natural beauty. You’ll often see ducks gliding across the water and kids cycling near the edge. It’s a great spot for photography, calm reflection, or just unwinding after a long day. Tips: – Best time: Early morning or evening for soft light and cool breeze – Carry snacks if you plan to sit longer; limited stalls nearby – Respect the silence — it’s part of the charm 🌤️

Take the road from market side. You can do boating. Nice place to enjoy the sunset. After Evening, better to avoid the back side of rock garden which is the end part of kanke dam.

Evening view 🌅of this dam is very beautiful❤. There is little beautiful park ⚘️beside the dam and Rock garden is also near the dam. Must visit here at once with Freinds or family to enjoy the sunset🌅 and feel the cool air🏞. One thing is that there is need of some attention⚠️ to cleanliness🚮.Ovre all i have a good experience.
