The White Desert of Kutch is a popular tourist destination in India, known for its vast expanse of white salt desert that becomes visible after monsoon season. The area is particularly popular during sunrise and sunset. Despite its remote location, the desert attracts thousands of domestic tourists every day during peak season. Despite the crowds, the magnanimous size of the desert makes it a soothing and beautiful experience. The cool weather in November only adds to its allure.
A truly mesmerizing and one-of-a-kind experience! The vast expanse of the white salt desert under the open sky is breathtaking, especially during sunset and full moon nights. The Rann Utsav adds vibrant cultural charm with music, food, and crafts. A must-visit for nature lovers and those seeking unique landscapes.
Yogi V — Google review
The Rann of Kutch, located in Gujarat, India, is one of the world’s largest salt deserts. Famous for its breathtaking white landscapes, it transforms into a cultural wonderland during the annual Rann Utsav, showcasing Gujarati art, music, dance, and cuisine. Visitors can enjoy stunning sunsets, moonlit nights over the white sands, and the warm hospitality of local villages. A must-visit destination for nature lovers, photographers, and culture enthusiasts alike.
Ashish D — Google review
A surreal place that hits you the moment you step onto that endless white stretch 🤍✨ The silence, the breeze, and that shimmering glow under the sun make it feel like you’ve landed somewhere completely unreal — one of the rarest landscapes you’ll ever get to experience. The best time to visit is definitely during winters — Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and early Feb ❄️ That’s when the weather stays pleasant and the salt flats look their absolute best. These months also happen to be the peak season, so expect more crowds, higher demand for stays, and busy evenings, especially during festivals and long weekends. Facilities in and around the area are quite good — clean pathways, viewing points, rest areas, and plenty of options for food, stay, and shopping 🛖🌙 Everything is organised well enough for families, groups, and even solo travellers. Overall, it’s a magical experience — a place that feels peaceful, vast, and unforgettable, and something you should visit at least once in your lifetime ❤️🤍✨
Bhadra M — Google review
The place is beautiful, however due to rains, there is still water and uou can't see the white Rann of salt yet. Nevertheless, beautiful view during full moonlight
Sachiien A — Google review
We visited on 25th Nov 2025. Full of water.. no white dessert due to late monsoon itseems. Not sure why the govt still charging 140rs for each person. 10rs is also a waste. There is work going on still. Plan your visit accordingly
Sindhuja R — Google review
Way better than jaisalmer, please visit White run. You can enjoy plus knowledge and also remembered till death, mesmerising view and also very knowledgeable for astrologers.
CHIRAG R — Google review
We visit here nov 25 last week. There is no white sand for us due to water. Maybe in Dec it's is good time to visit.
Yogesh P — Google review
The endless stretch of white salt under the open sky is surreal and mesmerizing. Whether you visit during sunrise, sunset, or on a full moon night, the desert glows with a beauty that words can’t fully capture. I visited during the Rann Utsav, and the whole setup was vibrant, cultural programs, handicrafts, local food, camel rides, and traditional Kutchi music made it a complete cultural experience. The tent city is well-organized and gives you a mix of luxury and authenticity. If you're a nature lover, photographer, or just someone seeking a peaceful yet unforgettable trip, this place is a must-visit. The Rann of Kutch stays in your heart long after you’ve left.

One of the best place in Morbi to hangout. I would strongly suggest to visit this place when you are in the city. There is a safe and enough place for parking.
Sunny V — Google review
As one enters Morbi swaying pylons of the suspension bridge and the beatific riverfront is a nostalgic reminder of Victorian London. Located 64 km from Rajkot is the town of Morbi with its quaint cobbled alleyways and buildings reminiscent of 19th century Europe. Morbi’s former ruler Sir Waghji inspired by Colonial influences designed a technologically planned and versatile city. The visitor is welcomed into the city through a grand suspension bridge, an artistic and technological marvel of that period. European influence in town planning further contributed to a central square known as the Green Chowk, approachable by three gates each designed in its own inimitable style incorporating both Rajput and Italian elements.

Aaina Mahal Bhuj

Nestled in the heart of Kutch, Aaina Mahal, or the Palace of Mirrors, is a stunning 18th-century palace that showcases an exquisite blend of art and architecture. Constructed under the reign of Rao Lakhpatji in 1752, this opulent structure boasts intricate mirror work and lavish decorations featuring precious stones and elaborate chandeliers. The palace's interior dazzles with its Hall of Mirrors, where reflections create a mesmerizing visual experience.
Despite the extensive damage caused by the Kutch earthquake, the Aina Palace is a living symbol of Bhuj's identity and its wonderful art. Built during the time of Maharaja Lakhpatji, this palace is truly unforgettable. Amazing Mirror Work: The name of the palace itself is 'Aina' and its main attraction is its main hall, which is studded with mirrors. As soon as you enter the room, it feels like you see your reflection in hundreds of mirrors, which creates a magical scene. The design and craftsmanship of this room is such that at night, when you light a lamp, the entire room is illuminated. Influence of European Art: This palace has been built by the craftsmen of Kutch adopting the European style. Here you will find Dutch clocks, glass brought from Venice, and old remnants of electrical systems, which show the international connections of the kings of Kutch. Current Experience: A part of the palace was damaged after the earthquake, but the beauty of the part that is open is as captivating as ever. My Experience: A visit to this palace will give you a glimpse of Kutch's rich past. The glitter of the mirrors and the collection of royal objects is amazing. It is nice to sit here in peace and think about the hard work of the artists at one time. Tip: Don't miss the Prague Palace, located right next to the Iina Palace, which is a magnificent example of Italian style. Allocate at least 2-3 hours to see both the palaces together.
Parth S — Google review
Aina Mahal in Bhuj is a beautiful palace with stunning mirror work and intricate designs. The architecture is unique, and the collection of antiques, paintings, and chandeliers is impressive. It gives a glimpse into the rich history and royal lifestyle of Kutch. The palace is well-maintained and a must-visit for history and art lovers.
Saurabh S — Google review
This ancient palace showcases the royal living of the past, with beautiful architecture and stunning mirror work. Walking through its halls, you can almost feel the grandeur of the royal era. The designs, ornate rooms, and historical significance make it a must-visit destination. There’s two palace at one place one is aaina mehel and there’s another one. There’s no photography allowed inside aaina mehel. Overall a great place to witness ancient royal living and experience Gujarat's rich cultural heritage.
Jay S — Google review
"This is a heritage building and it needs to be maintained. We could only see a few rooms and articles, but we wanted to explore more. Unfortunately, the condition of the building was very poor… the Queen’s palace (Rani Mahal) was almost completely in ruins. It felt very disheartening, but the time spent there was still very pleasant."
Sunita S — Google review
Aaina Mahal is a unique heritage spot with beautiful glasswork and a rich glimpse of Kutch’s royal history. The architecture is impressive, but a few areas could be better maintained and brighter for viewing the details. Overall, it’s worth a quick visit, and with improved upkeep it can be an even better experience.
Vaibhav S — Google review
A stunning old palace in Bhuj filled with mirrors, intricate artwork and beautiful detailing. The moment you step inside, the vintage charm hits you — it truly feels like stepping back in time 🏛️✨. The halls are decorated with reflective walls, delicate carvings and royal-era displays that are maintained quite well. Each corner has something eye-catching, making it great for photography 📸🌟. The small museum sections give a decent glimpse into the region’s history and artistry. The layout is simple to follow and the staff guides you politely whenever needed 🎧📝. Outside areas are peaceful too, with enough space to walk around and admire the architecture. Ticketing is quick, and the place stays reasonably clean despite the footfall 🌤️🪟. A lovely heritage spot in Bhuj that’s perfect for anyone who enjoys old-world craftsmanship and quiet cultural spaces 🧿✨.

I visited Prag Mahal today with my family, and it was an incredible experience. This stunning 19th-century palace, built in an Italian-Gothic architectural style, stands as a testament to Bhuj’s rich history. The intricate carvings, grand chandeliers, and the towering clock tower offer a glimpse into the opulence of the bygone era. "The Kutch Museum is a hidden gem for anyone interested in the rich history and culture of the Kutch region. The collection is impressive—ranging from ancient artifacts, traditional textiles, and tribal crafts to coins, sculptures, and musical instruments. The section on the Kutchi script and local communities was especially fascinating. The building itself is a beautiful piece of colonial-era architecture, adding to the experience. It's a peaceful, informative place and a must-visit for history and culture lovers. Just make sure to check the timings before you go, as they can vary."
A C — Google review
A compact, well-laid out local history museum right opposite Hamirsar Lake — easy to spot and walkable from central Bhuj. 📍 Founded in 1877, it’s actually the oldest museum in Gujarat and houses a wide range of regional artefacts — coins, inscriptions, tribal textiles and traditional crafts. 🏺 Visitor practicals: typical opening hours are around 10:00–13:00 and 14:30–17:30; it’s usually closed on Wednesdays and some public holidays, so plan accordingly. 🕰️ Entry is very inexpensive for locals (small nominal fee) and higher for foreigners; there may be a separate camera/photography charge — keep some cash handy. 💸📸 Displays are informative rather than flashy — great if you want a focused, quiet look at Kutch’s history and tribal art. Expect a 30–60 minute visit unless you’re into details. 🧭🏺
Bhadra M — Google review
Straightforward Review – One-Time Visit Only This is an old office, probably built during a king’s era. Inside, they’ve kept a few items—portraits from the royal period, some stones, coins, swords, and basic displays across the ground and first floor. Honestly, there isn’t much to see. The entry fee is just ₹5, so for a one-time visit, it’s fine. A small but important point: the security staff here are women, and while security is necessary, security and politeness are not enemies. Being respectful doesn’t reduce safety. A bit of politeness from their side would make the experience much better for visitors. Overall, nothing great, nothing terrible—just a basic place you can see once because the entry fee is minimal.
Krishika H — Google review
Fantastic place to learn about the rich and varied history of Rann of Kutch. The entire place is superbly curated and maintained. The staff is warm, kind and courteous. We loved our history lessons here filled with artefacts from the years gone by.a must visit place for every history lover. 100% recommended.
Nishant J — Google review
It was founded by Maharao Khengarji in the year 1877. The museum consists of the region’s delightful diversity in craft and local living with inscriptions of Kshatrapa back to the one A.D. along with coines [Kori- A kutch local currency] as well as scripts [Having gujarati alphabets]. Other than that, there's an anthropological section, archaeological section, textiles section, weapons section, music instruments section, shipping section, and stuffed animals section. More particularly, there's a section devoted to the tribal community where one can see ancient artifacts, folk arts, and crafts and information about tribal people, who are a major part of Kutch's history and culture. Visiting Hours for tourists: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM & 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM, Closed on Wednesday and Public Holidays. Having ticket charges of Rs 5/- . Parking is somewhat difficult to get in nearby areas.

Shree Ishwariya Mahadev Mandir is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located near Ishwariya Park in Rajkot, Gujarat. This temple stands as a spiritual sanctuary and is known for its serene ambiance and religious significance, attracting devotees throughout the year, especially during important festivals such as Mahashivaratri. The temple is situated approximately 7 kilometers from Rajkot Junction, along the Rajkot-Jamnagar Highway in the village of Madhapar near Rajkot. It is easily accessible by cab, auto-rickshaw, or local transport, making it a favored religious spot for locals and visitors alike. The main deity of the temple is a "Swayambhu" Shiva lingam—meaning a self-manifested lingam believed to have appeared naturally rather than installed by human hands—which adds to the temple’s sanctity. Architecturally, Shree Ishwariya Mahadev Mandir presents a blend of traditional elements and intricate craftsmanship. The temple complex goes beyond its spiritual functions to offer a peaceful and pleasant natural environment. Visitors often speak of the tranquil atmosphere that makes it ideal for meditation, prayer, and spending quiet moments away from the city’s bustle. Adjacent to the temple is Ishwariya Park, developed by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation in 2008. Spanning around 77 acres, the park features lush green lawns, well-laid walking tracks, sculptures of animals such as giraffes, owls, snakes, monkeys, and rabbits, adding a fun and educational dimension for children. The park’s large lake offers boating especially during the winter months when water levels are high, enhancing the visitor experience with natural beauty and recreational opportunities. Ishwariya Park also includes several amenities such as a golf course, children’s play areas, and a musical water fountain that attracts visitors in the evenings. The combination of a spiritual venue like Shree Ishwariya Mahadev Mandir alongside an expansive recreational park makes this area a holistic space for both devotional and leisure activities. The temple and the park together create a perfect outing destination for families and individuals seeking a blend of culture, nature, and spirituality. The presence of food stalls and nearby eateries serving authentic Kathiyawadi cuisine adds to the cultural immersion and convenience for visitors. Visiting the temple during festivals such as Mahashivaratri brings a vibrant atmosphere with special rituals and celebrations where devotees gather in large numbers to offer prayers, attend cultural programs, and participate in communal feasts.

The stadium looks great. But the traffic management is the worst I have seen. The seats are covered with bird poop. They don’t clean. The roads entering to the stadium and parking lots are unpaved. It creates breathing problems and congestion. Entering at the gate created a stampede. They have one of the worst management. After the game the worst traffic nightmare comes. See the photos and videos below. Do not come here if you’re not a local resident.

Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, a modern, solar-powered venue, offers a vibrant cricket experience with a 28,000-seat capacity. Its batsman-friendly pitch ensures high-scoring games, though chasing can be tough later. The stadium boasts excellent facilities, including a Lord’s-inspired media box, ample parking, and convenient access.A great spot for cricket fans despite minor issues.
Tarang P — Google review
A land of 30 acres was sanctioned in 2004 near the Jamnagar highway to build this state-of-the-art cricket stadium. The construction began in 2006 and almost 75 crores was spent. The media box at the venue resembles the one at Lord's and also for the spectators to move freely, there are several aisles between the seats. It also caters as a sporting complex to various other sports like badminton, volleyball and basketball.
Admission — Google review
This stadium is a must-visit for any cricket fan. The parking area is very poor. The best thing is free jio wifi available with high speed. Seat cleanliness is not good but comfortable for seating.
Harshil P — Google review
The atmosphere during matches is electric, and the comfortable seating allows you to enjoy the match from anywhere. If you're seated near the boundaries, you can see all the cricketers clearly. The venue features two big screens, enhancing the viewing experience. However, there is no water facility available, so you’ll need to go downstairs to purchase it. Food and soft drinks are available from various vendors, but expect to pay a premium price. Overall, it's a great place to enjoy a match with its vibrant atmosphere and comfortable seating.
Riddhi T — Google review
Amazing stadium to enjoy cricket games. It’s not too big or too small so you can blindly take any seat and will still be able to enjoy the game. Cleanliness was below par and has margin for improvement. Food and drinks are available along with vendors selling ice cream and chips inside stadium too. I would recommend this stadium and will definitely come back for future matches.

Crystal Mall is an enchanting destination with impeccable interior design and illumination. The captivating interiors are truly mesmerizing, especially the expansive and breathtaking waiting area. While the bathroom was satisfactory, it lacked partition between two toilets. The theater boasts comfortable and remarkable seats, delivering exceptional movie and video quality complemented by impressive sound systems. However, the air conditioning in the waiting area needs improvement as it pales in comparison to the cinema hall's superior cooling system.

Lakhota Fort is a historic 19th-century fortress located on an island in the middle of Lakhota Lake in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India. The fort's architecture reflects a blend of Rajput and European styles and it was once the original seat of the Jamnagar ruler. Surrounding the fort is Ranmal Lake, adding to its picturesque setting.
"Uncovering History at Ranmal Fort, Jamnagar - A Hidden Gem!" Rating:_ 4/5 I recently had the privilege of visiting Ranmal Fort in Jamnagar, Gujarat, and it was a truly enriching experience. This 16th-century fort, built by the Jadeja dynasty, is a treasure trove of history and architecture. As I entered the fort, I was struck by its sheer size and grandeur. The fort's walls, though weathered by time, still exude a sense of majesty. The intricate carvings, ornate gates, and majestic towers left me awestruck. The fort's history is palpable in every nook and corner, with whispers of the past echoing through the empty corridors. The museum within the fort premises houses an impressive collection of artifacts, further enriching the experience. The entry fee is reasonable, with a Rs 10/person charge at the first gate and Rs 25/person for the museum. Although I couldn't experience the night light view of the palace due to my early departure, I've heard it's breathtaking. Overall, Ranmal Fort is a must-visit for travel enthusiasts and photographers. The peaceful atmosphere under the shades of the trees is a bonus. However, the lack of maintenance and signage made navigation a bit challenging. Note that photography is not allowed inside the museum.

Even though I m native to this place, considering my hometown this place has seen many good, better and best days as what it was earlier and what now it going be has rich history behind to it. This Fort which is build by royals also known as royal family of jamnagar [Jam Dynasty i.e. Jam Rawal] back in date of 8th Century to 18th Century it has historical background. Till date the galore of its significance of this place has adopt the great heritage symbol as well as historical antiques too In current the renovation and beautification of this place has brought the new definition and importance of the said place but the authentication of the place itself is compromised [Lime stone build] Nothing wrong in that the arrangement and maintenance has charm up like brightening star having its own glory. Although the new beautification is ought to be challenging but again it gain popularity, boosted tourism, cleanliness and management have been top notch from the time being Ranmal Fort has its own legacy and its still carrying on till the date now on too...

Nice and beautiful place. There is one museum also. Good for weekend fun with family. Cleanliness at some of the places is not good. Some of the staff are not cooperative & food inside is average.

The Lakhota Palace of Jamnagar is one of the main tourist attractions of Gujarat, which can not be missed during your travels in the state monuments. It is a small palace located on the island of Lahotah Lake. The beautiful Lakhota Palace was once home to the Maharaja of Nawanagar. It was built in the form of a fort, with a semi-circular fortress, tartets and pavilions, which. Contains guards featuring swords, muscat loops, and powder floss. One of the most fascinating of the rich. Past of royal India, Jamnagar's tour is definitely to be believed, if you are planning a trip to Gujarat. The former princely state of Jamnagar is still alive, excited about the standing time of prosperity as a silent witness to the prosperity of the era, which has a strong influence on the life of Jamnagar, but also includes the perfection of the province, which is still Very important for the city, Jamnagar The long list of different forts and monuments, perhaps, leads to the strange beauty of the Lakhota Palace, Jamnagar. The Lakhotha Palace is connected to the city of Jamnagar, which has a stone bridge with Bullstrad. Today the palace also has a small. museum. It exhibits sculptures from the 9th to the 18th. You will also find pottery here which has survived from medieval villages. Visitors can visit the Museum of Lakhata Palace of Jamnagar, every day, except on Wednesday.

If you ever find yourself in Jamnagar, Shri Bala Hanuman Sankirtan Temple is a place you simply cannot miss. Located right by the peaceful Ranmal Lake, the temple has a divine charm that touches your heart the moment you step in. What makes this temple truly special is the never-ending chanting of "Shri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram” that has been going on continuously for more than six decades. Devotees take turns in shifts to keep the chanting alive, and being in that atmosphere feels both powerful and calming at the same time. It's no surprise that this tradition has even earned recognition in the Guinness Book of World Records. The temple is very well maintained, clean, and welcoming, with the serene lake adding even more beauty to the surroundings. Whether you go for darshan, to sit in peace, or just to soak in the spiritual energy, you will surely leave with a sense of inner calm.

Although just a casual temple but the best part is that from last 60 years there have been jap going on of "Shree Ram Jai Ram Jai Jai Ram" non stop 24x7x365 and that too not by recording audio it is done by people. The temple trust has appointed people who works in shifts and common people can also join them. But being such a famous temple the washroom were filthy. The campus was not well maintained and cleaned.

I recently had the most calming and soul-soothing experience at the Dwarkadhish Temple. It is truly one of the most magnificent and spiritually enriching temples I’ve ever visited. Mobile phones are not allowed inside the temple, which only added to the sense of peace and presence. I was fortunate to visit last weekend when there was no crowd at all. I even had the rare opportunity to sit quietly inside for 15–20 minutes, completely immersed in the serenity and the sound of prayers. The temple is beautifully surrounded by the Arabian Sea, which adds to its divine charm. After stepping out, I spent hours by the shore, watching the waves and soaking in the tranquil energy. It was a deeply blissful and unforgettable experience.

The Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial, located 4 kilometers from Mandvi, is a tribute to the late freedom fighter Shri Shyamaji Krishna Varma. The memorial was a dream project of the former Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Narendra Modi. It houses an exact replica of India House in London, which was established by Shyamji himself.
One of the best memorials I have ever come across. It's beautifully built with very simple and streamlined story narration by the guides who ensure you know what you are viewing. Photography is not allowed inside (not by phone also). A must visit place and specially as a tribute to the great people who were instrumental to India's independence.

Well made, well maintained memorial. The complex has a replica of India House, London, which was the residence of Shyamji Krishna Varma. There is an auditorium on the ground floor of the building where they show visitors a 20 minute video detailing the life & activities of the man. But the best bit is the expansive uninterruping view of Mandvi beach from the 2nd floor. Do take advantage of the cafe & toilet facilities in the complex. This 450-acre palace is now a popular tourist attraction and royal family residence. The palace's stunning architecture, including red sandstone construction with intricate details and colored glass windows, has made it a sought-after filming location for Bollywood movies like Lagaan and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
Beautiful Heritage Palace by the Sea Vijay Vilas Palace is a stunning royal retreat near Mandvi beach — known for its grand architecture, lippan-style carvings, and panoramic sea views from the terrace. Visited this beautiful Vijay Vilas Palace during our school trip, and it was an amazing experience overall 🏰✨ The palace is a masterpiece of royal architecture — tall domes, artistic carvings, and intricate balconies that truly showcase the grandeur of Kutch’s royal heritage 👑🌴 The best part was climbing up to the top balcony, from where you get a stunning view of the Mandvi Beach and the vast Arabian Sea 🌊 — it’s absolutely picture-perfect 📸. Inside, we explored the royal rooms and saw antique furniture, photographs, and old artifacts — it really felt like stepping back into history 🕰️📜 The palace is well maintained, and the staff were polite and guided us properly throughout our visit. There’s also a small garden area and places to sit around, which made it a relaxing stop during the trip 🌿🙂. A few scenes of famous Bollywood movies were shot here too — which made it even more exciting for us students to see those real locations 🎬🎞️ --- Tip: 🎟️ Entry ticket is required (nominal). 👟 Wear comfortable footwear — a bit of walking & stairs. 🚌 Good parking space available for school / group buses. 📸 Great spot for group photos — don’t miss the terrace view! A perfect blend of history, architecture, and scenic beauty — a must-visit when in Mandvi or Kutch 🌅🏰✨

Vijay Vilas Mahal in Mandvi is not just a palace, but a wonderful combination of natural beauty and Rajput style architecture. The fact that this palace is located on the banks of the Rukmini River and close to the Arabian Sea increases its appeal manifold. Architecture: Due to its beauty, this palace has been filmed in many Bollywood films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Lagaan, which is a testament to the grandeur of the palace. Its design is in the Rajput style, in which beautiful lattice carvings, Bengali domes and stained glass windows are seen. The red stone of the palace looks very beautiful in the sunlight. Atmosphere and Peace: Since it is close to the sea, there is a cool breeze and a peaceful atmosphere. The pleasure of seeing the beautiful view of the sea and beach from the terrace of the palace is something else. This palace was the summer residence of the kings of Kutch, and was designed with comfort and luxury in mind. Maintenance: Despite the Kutch earthquake, the palace has been well maintained and the cleanliness of its premises is commendable. My experience: If you come to Kutch and want to enjoy history along with the beaches, then Vijay Vilas Palace is a must-see. I love watching the sunset here the most – the color of the sunlight falling on the red stone palace and the Arabian Sea in front... the view is amazing! This palace will make you feel royal and romantic. Tip: After visiting the palace, be sure to go to the nearby Mandvi beach and have a camel ride or have breakfast in the evening.

Narara Reef The only drawback is that the road leading towards Narara Reef is poorly maintained, so reaching the site is abit difficult. But once we reach the experience is totally worth it. A wonderful experience exploring the marine life at Narara Reef. We were amazed to see starfish, octopus, crabs, puffer fish, and beautiful sea grapes during the low tide walk. The place is a paradise for nature and sea lovers. Our guide Sabir explained everything very well and made the visit truly informative and enjoyable. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves marine adventures and wants to witness the beauty of nature up close! 🐙🐠🌾

Narara reef is a quite, peaceful and uncommon. You can see live sea life during low tide period such as aquatic organisms, plants and colourful sponges and corals, sea cucumber, sea grapes, sea brittle star fish, octopuses, Puffer fish, etc. It is a different type of experience to go walking inside the sea during low tide.

It was an amazing experience to see a ocean animals like puffer fish, octopus, corals, sea cucumber and crabs live. You may hold them in your hands, feel them how beautiful they are. This place is worth visiting with your family & friends. But you must know the timing of low tide then only u can see these ocean creatures. In high tide they are not visible. U have to walk up to 3 to 4 km in water. Best time is morning 7 o'clock at that time u can explore more. U can have picnic there with your friends & family.Water level just above your ankle. Must carry ur shoes to walk in the water. Kids have enjoyed a lot. For us also it was very new experience, never thought before of holding these creatures in our hands. It was just Wow....... Nature is Beautiful😍❤😍 love it.

OMG!! Where do I begin, it felt like the most underrated place in India! Had it been in some other country people would be going crazy. Please ensure you reach the place during low tide & have at least 2-3 hrs to explore. So we reached the counter, got our tickets & a guide (taking a local guide is must they charged us Rs 500 but rates are from Rs 300) & began our walk towards the reef, (do wear waterproof shoes as the path is slippery & you have to walk in water. They also provide shoes at ₹30), we saw so many marine life that we never knew existed like transparent prawns, joint animal, flatworm, octopus, puffer fish, oysters, crabs, live corals like moon coral, pineapple coral! It is an out of the world experience. This place is a must visit.

Bet Dwarka is a serene and sandy island that is considered part of the historic sacred city. It features temples, shrines, and offers a peaceful getaway for travelers. To reach Bet Dwarka, visitors can take a boat organized by Rahemat Cruise Seva from the Okha Jetty. The boat journey provides serene views of shore birds at the sandbars and the Arabian Sea on one side, with the Gulf of Kutch to the east.

Its located about 30 kms from Dwarkadheesh. Nearest train station is Okha. After reaching there you have to travel by boat. They charge Rs 20 per head one way. Most of time boat is kind of overloaded and not at all comfortable. Putting life jacket is mandatory else you may be fines rs 500 as fine. After about 20 minutes ride once you reach bank, you have to walk about 700 meters. That area is untidy. Temple is good. It remains closed between 1pm to 5pm. So when planning to go there, plan accordingly as journey to bet dwarka from dwarkadheesh takes about 1 hr 30 minutes including boat time.

This ranks among the best places I've visited, and like every spiritual site, it unfolds a story – the tale of friendship. Lord Krishna, the king of Dwarka, shared a bond with a less affluent friend, emphasizing that true richness lies in the heart. In Beyt Dwarka, the pandits and locals have been narrating this timeless friendship tale, serving as a reminder that bonds should be nurtured from the heart, regardless of worldly matters. This place, unlike a bustling city, experiences limited electricity, and darkness descends with the setting sun. It's advisable to leave before sunset for safety reasons. Having visited approximately two years ago, I must highlight the potential risks of traveling by boat on the sea route. Exercise caution to ensure boats don't overload, as there are no life jackets provided. Wishing all travelers a safe and enriching journey, may you receive abundant blessings from the divine.

One of the most beautiful and must visited place of Dwarka. On December 2022 the Bridge contraction on ongoing. So, we take the ferry from there. It was a lifetime experience for me to travel through blue water.

The place of Bet Dwarka is very nice. It is a different kind of fun to go there. The new bridge that has been built recently is also very nice. The view of the sea from there is also very nice. So you should definitely go there once. You can take fairy also for going other side, Just check the timing of the temple.

Visiting the temple is a great experience as we need to reach the temple via boat. There is a new bridge constructed however it’s not open for public yet. The temple is good. The boat experience even though it’s just 10 minutes each way is really good.

Must visit place to complete your Dwarkadhish circuit pilgrimage. It's rich history and culture is as interesting as the place. If possible go by road from Dwarka.
Ashwini P — Google review

The Rukmini Devi Mandir, located in Dwarka, Gujarat, India, is a 12th-century temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The temple's architecture showcases intricate stone carvings depicting human figures, elephants, and various gods and goddesses. Away from the city center, this spiritual destination offers a serene escape for reflection and prayer.
Beautiful Temple, But Needs Care Rukmani Mata Mandir is a beautiful example of ancient architecture. The carvings and design are really amazing. It shows the great art of old times. But the temple needs some repair and more care. The area around it also needs better cleaning, lights, and a bit of gardening to make it look nicer. The temple is made of sandstone, so if it’s not restored soon, we might lose its beautiful design. It’s a special place and deserves better maintenance.
Haripriya Y — Google review
The Rukmini Devi Mandir in Dwarka, Gujarat, is a beautiful temple dedicated to Goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. Located about 2 kilometers from the main Dwarkadhish Temple, it is an important pilgrimage site that reflects the divine love and separation of Krishna and Rukmini. According to legend, Rukmini Devi once angered the sage Durvasa by stepping ahead of him while serving food to Lord Krishna. The sage cursed her to live separately from Krishna, which is why her temple stands apart from the main Dwarkadhish Temple. This story gives the shrine a deep emotional and spiritual meaning for devotees. Architecturally, the Rukmini Mandir is a fine example of 12th-century craftsmanship, built in Nagara style with beautiful stone carvings depicting various deities and celestial beings. The sanctum houses a delicate idol of Goddess Rukmini, adorned with ornaments and bright clothing. The temple’s peaceful surroundings, detailed carvings, and rich mythology make it a must-visit spot for pilgrims visiting Dwarka. Many devotees believe that visiting both Dwarkadhish Temple and Rukmini Devi Mandir completes the spiritual journey and brings harmony and blessings to married life.
Rudesh K — Google review
According to legend, Sage Durvasa cursed Rukmini to live apart from Krishna after she drank water without offering it to him first. As a result, her temple stands at a distance from Krishna’s—symbolizing separation, but also her strength and meditative penance. Inside the sanctum, Rukmini is depicted holding Shankha, Chakra, Gada, and Padma, radiating divine energy. Devotees often perform jal daan (water offering), a unique ritual tied to the legend.

The Rukmini Temple in Dwarka, located about 2 km from the main Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to goddes Rukmini. There is story why Rukmini ia away from Dwarikadhesh. During the long journey, Rukmini grew intensely thirsty. Seeing her exhausted state, Krishna stopped the chariot and pressed his big toe into the earth. A spring of the holy Ganges water immediately emerged, forming a well to quench her thirst. Rukmini drank the water without first offering it to their guest, Sage Durvasa. The sage, observing this act of perceived impoliteness, became enraged. He cursed Rukmini to be separated from her beloved husband, Krishna, This is the reason Rukmini Temple is away from Sri krishna temple and they never meet. There is no cleanliness. They offer water as prasad nd say it's of the same we'll which Krishna is created which is 20 km away and brings water by tanker. But don't find space or water tanks to store water. Also how much water we'll has ia also a question mark.

Nice place and very less rush during parties time compared to Dwarka temple rush. Also you'll get lot of refreshment stalls outside of this temple coconut water, corn, etc. 🤩 🥥🌽

Rukmini Devi Temple, located about 2 km from Dwarkadhish Temple, is a serene and spiritually rich shrine dedicated to Goddess Rukmini, the beloved consort of Lord Krishna. The temple’s peaceful surroundings and ancient architectural charm make it a beautiful experience for pilgrims and travelers alike. The temple stands gracefully with intricate carvings that reflect ancient craftsmanship and devotion. Inside, the idol of Maa Rukmini is beautifully adorned, radiating divine grace and positivity. The priests explain the temple’s fascinating history and the story of why Rukmini is worshipped separately from Lord Krishna — adding depth and meaning to the visit. The area is clean and well-maintained, with ample space for devotees to sit, meditate, or offer prayers peacefully. Since it’s a bit away from the main city temple, it feels calm and less crowded, allowing visitors to connect spiritually.
Hardik P — Google review
Very nice temple. The priest explained the story behind the temple.the temple is believed to be over 2,500 years old, the current structure dates to the 12th century and is known for its intricate carvings. Its location, separate from the Dwarkadhish temple, is linked to a legend involving sage Durvasa's curse after Rukmini drank water before him. Here water is given as a prasd to all devotees.

Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Dwarka, the Shree Dwarkadhish Temple stands as a remarkable testament to Hindu devotion and architectural brilliance. Dating back to 400 BC, this temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna and features an impressive tiered main shrine crafted from pure white marble by the Birla family in 1970. Visitors are often captivated by its unique acoustics—clapping your hands once can produce echoes that resonate seven times!
The area near the temple is known for its beautiful sights, which can be very calming. It is believed that the place has a very positive and uplifting atmosphere. This can be a wonderful experience for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Sharing your photos can help others experience the beauty and atmosphere of the place as well. It is always a pleasure to share these types of experiences with others.

My visit to Dwarka Temple was unforgettable. As I walked towards the temple, the sound of the sea and the sight of the tall shikhara gave me goosebumps. Inside, the atmosphere was peaceful yet powerful. The evening aarti was the highlight hundreds of devotees singing together created pure magic. It’s one of those places where you truly feel close to God.
Nikunj S — Google review
Temple is good but isn't managed well! They should plan for proper queue system to ensure everyone gets to move freely and without any rush. A lot of pushing from the cops and fellow devotees makes it difficult for kids and aged devotees.
Sanjay K — Google review
The moment you enter the temple area, the atmosphere becomes peaceful and spiritual. The temple is grand, beautifully maintained, and full of positive energy. Even with people around, the place feels calm and welcoming. The approach to the temple is easy, with markets and small shops on both sides, giving a lively feeling of an old holy city. You can deposit phones and bags outside, and the process is well organised. It’s good to arrive a little early, especially during weekends or festival days, to avoid long queues. Inside the temple, the darshan is quick and well managed. Standing in front of Dwarkadhish (Lord Krishna) gives a feeling that’s difficult to describe—peaceful, powerful, and emotional at the same time. The carvings, the old architecture, and the chanting add to the beauty of the experience. After darshan, you can walk towards the Gomti River, which is just behind the temple. The view of the ghat and the sea breeze makes the visit even more special. If time allows, visiting again in the evening for Aarti is highly recommended.

A truly divine and spiritual experience at the Dwarkadhish Temple. The atmosphere is filled with devotion and peace. Mobile phones are not allowed inside, which helps maintain the sanctity and lets you fully immerse in the darshan. A must-visit for every devotee of Lord Krishna.

By the mercy of Sri Dwarkadhisa, the waters of Gomati River are crystal clear, unlike many rivers around the world. When river waters are full, one can see clearly the river bed and one’s reflection. Since Gomati is a tidal river, its waters at times recede and other times are full. It is very auspicious to take bath at Gomati River. Gomati Sangam Ghat is the sacred place where Gomati River flows. This ghat can be reached by climbing down 56 steps from the Swarga Dwar of the Dwarkadhisa Temple. Gomati River meets the sea at the Chakratirtha Ghat. The Chakratirtha Ghat is famous for a wheel with white porous type stones, called as Dwarkashila or Chakrankitha.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a unique and peaceful Shiva temple located on a peninsula that extends into the ocean, offering stunning sunset views. One of my Favourite place where I feel peace and lost ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐this time I visiting early 3:30 at the temple I completely start getting feeling spiritual energies and power💫🚩📿 Ancient Origins: The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva, known here as Bhadkeshwar Mahadev. It is believed to be more than 5,000 years old and holds great spiritual significance for Shaivites as well as devotees of Lord Krishna. Location: The temple is built on a small hill-like structure that projects into the Arabian Sea. During high tide, the temple is surrounded by water, and in low tide, devotees can easily walk to it. Right now they have developed many facilities and kept relling around temple...IN THE END.....READ 👇🏻 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I always love visiting Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple 🙏. The location is absolutely divine, right by the sea 🌊, and during high tide the temple looks magical. Every time I go, it feels so peaceful and spiritual ✨. The area around the temple has really developed in recent years 👍 — you’ll find snacks 🍿🥤, clean drinking water 🚰, and even washrooms 🚻 which makes the visit comfortable. For families and kids, there are fun activities too like camel rides 🐪 and horse rides 🐎 right outside. It’s a perfect blend of spirituality and a refreshing outing. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Mandir 🕉️ is a very peaceful and spiritual place. The temple has a calm and relaxing atmosphere, and the location is beautiful with the Arabian Sea 🌊 all around. It feels very refreshing to sit here, enjoy the cool breeze 🌬️, and spend time in the peace of Mahadev ji 🙏. There is also a small mela-like vibe 🎪 around the temple, with many stalls and snacks 🍴 available to eat, which adds to the charm of the visit. It’s a nice place not just for darshan, but also to relax with family or friends while enjoying the sea view 🌅. One humble request to everyone visiting — please do not litter 🚮 or throw garbage around. Let’s keep this place clean and pavitra ✨, so that everyone can continue to enjoy its beauty and peace 🌸.

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is a peaceful and divine spot right by the Arabian Sea. The view of waves touching the temple during high tide feels truly magical. It’s one of those rare places where nature and spirituality meet perfectly. The sound of the sea and the cool breeze create a calming vibe, especially during sunrise or sunset. Though the temple is beautiful, the approach area could be cleaner and parking is limited during peak hours. Still, it’s a must-visit when in Dwarka — a perfect place to find peace away from the crowd. --- ✅ Pros Located beside the sea — scenic and photogenic views Peaceful and spiritual atmosphere Amazing sunrise & sunset experience Less crowded compared to Dwarkadhish Temple Great spot for meditation and photography --- ❌ Cons Cleanliness around the approach road needs improvement Path gets submerged during high tide — check timings Limited parking and no proper eateries nearby Few basic facilities like restrooms or benches

Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple: Where the Ocean Itself Worships Shiva!. A Divine Sunset Experience You Cannot Miss! If you are in Dwarka, this is where you go for the most unforgettable sunset and a truly unique spiritual experience. Bhadkeshwar Mahadev Temple is not built near the sea; it's built on it, perched on a rocky outcrop that makes it feel like a tiny, sacred island. The Phenomenon of the Sea Abhishekam The most captivating feature is the one that happens by nature: during the monsoon (typically June/July), the Arabian Sea itself rises to embrace and submerge the entire temple, performing a divine Abhishekam (ritual water offering) to the ancient Swayambhu (self-manifested) Shivalinga. This legend makes the temple feel ancient, mystical, and profoundly connected to the elemental forces. The Perfect Time to Visit Timing is everything here! You must check the low tide schedule to walk easily to the temple. * Sunset: Absolutely spectacular. The golden light reflecting off the crashing waves against the cliff face is a photographer's dream and a soul-soothing sight. * Low Tide: This is when the pathway is fully accessible, allowing you to peacefully make your way to the sanctum. Serenity on the Edge of the World The temple itself is small, simple, and incredibly peaceful. Surrounded by the roar of the ocean on three sides, the atmosphere is perfect for quiet meditation. The path leading out to the temple is an amazing walk, making you feel completely surrounded by the sea and sky. Conclusion: This is not just a place of worship; it’s a geographical wonder and a spiritual retreat rolled into one. Come for the Mahadev darshan, stay for the jaw-dropping sunset, and leave with a profound sense of peace. A Dwarka trip is incomplete without this sacred, seaside encounter! (Note: Always check local tide timings before your visit for safe and full accessibility to the temple platform.)

Felt deeply connected to Lord Shiva here. The temple’s beauty, surrounded by the ocean, fills your heart with devotion and peace. Standing there with waves touching the steps feels like nature itself is offering prayers. Truly a divine experience. Har Har Mahadev 🙏

A divine serene experience! Visited at sunset and instantly felt the divine aura there. It is also located at a very scenic location with the Arabian Sea surrounding it. It is not very crowded during early morning and evening hours. The top of the temple has a big Shivling which is visible from far off and is the highlight of the place.
Gunjan — Google review
Extraordinary temple. One of its own kind. This temple is located in the middle of the ocean. When there is a high tide, the water of the ocean enters the temple and consecrate the holy shiva-linga. In such conditions, you need to grab the chain while entering the temple to keep balance. This temple is popular among tourists for fabulous sunset. You can find this temple crowded at the time of sunset in the evening. This temple is recently renovated and expanded by authorities which was really required.
