A must visit when visiting the peloponnese, has so much history and great things too see. I went because my wife is really into old things but as a neutral I found the place fascinating with information boards all around the site telling you what each rock was and what it was for. The tickets are well priced for what's included and will take up 3 hours or more of your day. There's also plenty of shaded areas as it does get hot in the sun.

Splendid! Such a beautiful place. The ancient site is very impressive and the museum is worth visiting. Arrive early to avoid the crowd(the tourist and school buses starts rolling in around 11am) and allow yourself a couple of hours as it is big. Entry is €20 per person, but every 1st Sunday of the month is free! 😉

Very interesting to see, where the Olympics originated (both the historical site itself as the two museums) One about the history of the site, the other one about the history of the (old) Olympic Games. With one ticket you can visit all three locations. It is a walkable distance from each other. As for the archaeological site... amazing!!!

this is a massive area of archeological exploration. it is the home of the worlds first stadium dedicated to athletic competition. the start line is still there. it boasts large training areas, roman baths and temples. the area is relatively flat and easy to negotiate. this multiple acre dig really gives the visitor a feeling of what their lives were like. the museum has an amazing number of relics from the grounds. this is apparently the site of the olympic games. our guide the importance of these games in opening the doors to peace.

Amazing to walk through so much history - having a guide to explain the finer details was extremely helpful. The size of the site & all of the various buildings across Greek & Roman history was fascinating. Worth the bus trip.

We spent hours here. It's absolutely amazing. We first came on the August full moon but due to local fires it was closed. We spent 3-4 hours in the 2 museums and we had about an our in the archaeological site, we could have done with at least another 30 minutes at least. It really is impressive and a must for visiting. The ticket for the 2 museums and site costs 20 euro per person. Children were free. You can purchase your tickets at all 3 places and where ever you buy it that's where you have to enter first.

Wow first time here . Wasn't that busy we had 2 hours to walk around where the first Olympics were held. A lot of bits and pieces marble. The museum was cool alot of artifacts and info.

Very nice, spacious and clean sandy beach. Water is crystal clear and it's shallow for like 20 meters. The only downside was the parasols; they're rather small and don't have great coverage. However the beach is pretty cheap -100 TL for a couple of beds and a parasol - so it's definitely worth it.

This is our first trip to İztuzu Beach by car, and the journey is quite long. The breathtaking views on the drive to the beach make it worthwhile. The parking lot costs ₺200, and payment is required upon entry. They also provide changing rooms and restrooms. There is a restaurant and tanning area where you can pay ₺165 per person or ₺350 for two wooden sun loungers, or choose a free one on the sand. The beach was extremely crowded. The only thing you have to do when you go swimming in the sea, all you have to do is walk far enough until the water is deep enough. İztuzu Beach is absolutely stunning; unfortunately, we did not get to see any turtles, but we had an enjoyable time. I recommend it purely for the experience.

İztuzu Plajı is one of the most beautiful and unique beaches in Turkey. The sand is golden, the water is shallow and warm, and the scenery is amazing with mountains on one side and the river delta on the other. What makes it special is that it’s also a protected nesting area for Caretta Caretta turtles, so it feels like you’re visiting both a beach and a natural reserve. There are no big hotels or loud music, which keeps it peaceful. Best to bring your own snacks and water, and respect the turtle areas. Truly a natural paradise!

One of my favourite in Turkey. Perfectly clean, wise, and beautiful. Dalyan in general is a magic place for a vacation. You can get there by the boat, or by the bus service. It takes around 30 minutes, both ways are enjoyable though, views etc. A lot of empty space, if you walk a little far from the sun lounges. Sandy clean beach, warm clean sea, perfect

I liked this beach a lot. The fee is not that much (2€ per car, no matter how many people are inside it), there are public toilets and showers (with cold, salty water) and the beach is clean. The water doesn't get deep enough for swimming for more than 50meters which makes it ideally for kids. You can also visit the Turtle Hospital (which is located close to the entrance). There is also shadow under some pine trees, but if you arrive after 10am most probably you will find it already occupied. At times it gets very windy. The restaurant inside has reasonable prices.

Enjoyed the trip by boat all the way to the mud and thermal water park. Mythologically, It is been said that the river is filled by tears of a prince whose love left him for his brother. On the mountains there, they crafted their Graves.

Extraordinarily picturesque beach! A few restaurants there and a small free zone. There are less big rocks in the water on the left side. The bid ones on the right side make it sometimes hard to walk in the water. Great depth, making it suitable for snorkelling. Crystal clear water and clean beach.

Paradise.. nothing less can be said for this dreamy hidden gem in the bay. We took the hiking trail from Faliraki to the bay. The view was breathtaking, the trail - kind of challenging, at times very narrow. Still saw many ppl were coming from there. The water was crystal, the rocks in the sea created so beautiful sceneries. The place is not very big, but sunbeds and umbrellas were placed all over it. However, you will get one if you go there earlier (we went there around 9 and there were plenty, by 10:30-11 most were taken). The cost is 30 euro for 2x sunbeds + umbrella, and I think 15 euro for 1x sunbed. There are a lot of rocks to the back of the beach and so many people were laying on them.

What a clear sea, it’s amazing, here is in the my top 3 beach. Only negative side is very expensive sunbed. 2 bed & 1 umbrella is 30 €, but it’s not including anything. You can bring drink and food if you like, otherwise there is a chill restaurant. We came around 9 am, we picked up last beds, so need to come early. Don’t afraid to be late, there is many place to lay down with towel.

Not a beach, just some paid 30€ umbrellas on the rocks where you'll have a hard time getting in the water. Which is dirty, overcrowded and really of no use. Time to time boats unload people making it even worse, but they're probably having a better time than people on land. Ladiko is one * better but still bad. These places are probably great off season when the money-making machine is gone. In high season they're only good to look at from afar. Water seems clean but on the rocks there's all kind of trash.

This place is so neat! Tickets are 20Euro or about $23 USD. Get there as early as you can, it gets crowded fast. Amazing restored rooms and furniture and so much to learn and see. It is an impressive building and beautifully decorated. There is a wonderful museum at the end to view as well.

Not just a medieval palace, a real voyage in time. We visited the Palace of the Grand Master on a Sunday morning and it seems like we got there before the crowds. We had plenty of time to visit every room and also the opportunity to snap a lot of pictures without too many people around. First things first, the Palace is in pristine condition. I was expecting a nice place but this visit totally blew our minds. It's big, and I mean BIG. Lots of history, stunning architecture, and even more. There are a few places you visit where you feel like words aren't enough to describe, this is one of them. It seems like every room we visited brought a new dimension to the history of the place and wowed us with mosaics, furniture, views or just absolute grandeur. We were lucky enough to visit during a museum day so we got the chance to visit for free, but to be honest, it's totally worth the regular price ice of admission. Take the time to stop by the windows and take a look outside, views are amazing at almost all of them.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful palace. It is huge and absolutely stunning and gives a real insight into the Rhodes of yesteryear. We found it fascinating, the architecture, statues, rooms, mosaic floors are awe inspiring and the audiovisual elements really brought it to life. Stop off for a coffee at the lovely coffee shop within the courtyard and enjoyed a lovely coffee. If you are visiting Rhodes this is a must see!

Fantastic - really worth a visit. The architecture of the Palace is wonderful. All of the artifacts inside the museum are well preserved, and the various rooms are terrific to see. It was not overly busy when we went and the tickets were ~€20, but worth it.

I went on the castle walls and honestly for 5 euro it was a lot of fun! It's a nice walk and you get a nice view of the town. I will say that there are no benches or shade so it can be intense in the heat so ensure you have water.

Lovely for a swim but lots of stones so u will need beach shoes. No sun beds or loungers. Just bring ur Towel and sit on sand. There is a little bit with a rail that has man made hard floor under sea to get into sea to avoid the stones

Very nice place to wait for a ferry. Bathrooms are super clean! See a bunny or two while you are there.

Very nice well designed place with whatever a sailor can need such as warm water, every time clean big spaced toilets with hair dryer. Good shopping area with many cafes restaurants and sailing shops, a very close super market just next to marine, close to heart of Marmaris just a few minutes walk you are in castle historic area and bar streets.

It used to be very nice and friendly, in the last two years prices have become unreasonable. Let me explain: first of all is very noisy at night (both from night clubs but also fron other boats partying) but the worst thing is the high speed powerboats entering or leaving the marina. So once in while unexpected waves come out of the blue caused by tenders. Additionally the behavior of certain staff + the refusal to speak English is funny when working in tourism! There is a rule in marketing called "willingness to pay", i don't mind the higher cost BUT downgrading the quality of your services is serious.

The marina is impeccably clean and well run, the town has everything you cod need to refit your boat with. Most of the mariners speak good English and are very helpful and the technical support is also readily available. It is also a very safe and secure marina with someone attentively patroling on a tender through the night .

Came here mid November we were fortunate enough to have lovely weather for a couple days, the beach is clean and if you sit near one the the restaurants or bars they allow you to use the Sun Loungers and give you free WiFi providing you purchase a drink from them.

The sand is brown ,it's kind of dry clay in most of the parts, don't expect white fine sand. The sea is brown as well, if you go to the deep part it can be a little bit more clear. If you want to go snorkeling ,that's isn't the beach ,go to Turunç, Turunç is amazing. Marmaris beach facilities are spectacular, showers everywhere, places to get changed and toilets. Amazing facilities.

A sandy beach stretches on the part of the coast of Marmaris and belongs to the municipality, it is crowded most of the time in the morning and evening, there are public sanitary facilities and places for changing clothes, as well as places for bathing and washing the body after going to the sea. There is a nearby park that has children's games.

Parked in the new carpark along the front, lots of space and walked the whole length of marmaris, there was a kite festival so they were everywhere. Wandered back along the pazar area which has lots of little shops, lovely afternoon

Most people friendly and salt of the earth. Couldn’t do enough for you. Any time of the day or night, there would be shops open. Some phenomenal evenings, breakfasts and lunches at The Majestic by the beautiful flower lined and walkbridge connected Canal. Surprisingly though, prices were similar to Sydney, Aus. prices or a little cheaper. It wasn’t as cheap as I had expected for such a small town. Overall, my experience in Içmeler was fondly memorable! Worth the trip.

A nice beach in the centre of icmeler. It was empty in October so Marmaris is better if you want a more lively atmosphere, however if you want some peace and quiet this is the place to go. I’d imagine it’s quite different in the middle of the summer!

Pleasant little town. We walked here from our hotel in Marmaris. Took just under an hour. Bars and shops aplenty. Water taxi to take you to and from Marmaris is a nice and fairly inexpensive form of travel if don't want to walk.

Sunbeds free of you buy drinks / for from the bars. Didn't get hassle once we got a bed and service was great

Great beach probably the best we visited in Rhodes,5 euro s bus from Rhodes town . Only 2 buses a day to get there and back . The sea was very calm and clear .It wasn't the cleanest beach I've visited in Greece.20 Euros for 2 sunbeds and a umbrella.

Amazing beach, clean water, sandy beach. We spend whole afternoon there. Would highly recommend if you have family, as the water is very calm.

The beach is golden sand, easy to come, more then enough parking, sunbeds and restaurants. Price for 2 sun beds and sun umbrella is for 25e, and is expensive, but at least here you will not regret too much for taking it. It's little tricky if too windy, as it will be sharp on your legs, but you will not feel hot weather, and will get sunbeds burn as you will forget that is still sunny. For us it was only this beach that we came back also for more times to enjoy it.

Lovely small beach between rock and sea. Plenty of sun beds available. We found a place with €15/day for two. Changing cabin, beach showers and tarvernas available. Very quiet and calm atmosphere, while we were there. Free parking in the area.

Kameiros was one of the major cities of the island, the other two being Lindos and Ialyssos, and all of three being of Dorian (a major ancient Greek tribe) origin, whose coalition built the city of Rhodes in the late 5th century BC, a polis that evolved into a major regional player in the ancient world. Though the building of Rhodes naturally shifted much of the interest of the local population there, the city of Kameiros remained in use for approximately another millenia. Its disuse after that and its distance from urban centers that evolved significantly in the following ages left it considerably well preserved. The outline of the city and most of its buildings is quite discernable. Thus, though not even nearly as spectacular as Lindos, it is well worth a visit. The ascent is much less tiresome, the ruins are impressive, and the view is wonderful.

Even after a thousand years, you'll find fascinating remains of a sophisticated culture here. This place is huge, with many spots to explore. It's truly breathtaking what the people of Rhodes were able to accomplish so many years ago. The entrance fee was €10, but considering what you'll see, it's reasonable. Parking was free.

Site was nearly empty 2 hours before closing, it has a bit of an incline but easily walkable and plenty of signs around to explain what parts of the city you’re looking at. Convenient free parking lot on site available. There is toilets and a little cafe on site as well.

One of the best sites I’ve ever been. And I’ve been to many, because I’m an ancient historian. ;) Love how you could see the layout of the town and how the cisterns worked back in the day. The view is stunning. Must see when you’re in Rhodes. Very friendly people who work there as well.

First disappointment is when the online price shows 6euro, but the at the cashiers its now 10 euro. While its an important site I'm not sure there's enought added value for the new fee. Little more remains than ruins of lower walls of buildings. its an impressive location with ocean view and the complex gives a good overall idea of the spread of the ancient village. I would have expected a small museum that demonstrated in 3D what the structures looked like and any of the decorative element. If you've seen the major sites and have extra time, you could come here and spend half an hour walking around.

Perfect archeological site with a walk around the entire excavation, focus is on the site and nothing else - just as it should be. Small café and plenty of parking onsite although it was very quiet late September.

The chapel or monastery was cool. There were two small museums that together cost 1.5 euros to enter. It seemed that not many opted to enter the museums when we were there. The museums were a bit underwhelming but I'm still glad to have seen it.

We visited the monastery as part of a boat trip to the island. It was a short stop, but very beautiful and peaceful. An added bonus of being able to watch sea turtles made it all the more worthwhile.

A must see if you're traveling to Symi. Easy to reach in every vehicle(seen a lot of bikers on the way)via a very good asphalted road that offers you the opportunity to take some pitoresque photos.

Sacred monastery where we celebrated a millstone birthday for my father in law. Sure, it was 100 degrees that day and we were staying on the other side of the island, but we made the pilgrimage to give thanks and again acknowledge that everything we have is gifted from and for the glory of God! Παναγιά μαζί μας!

This monastery was a very important place for me to visit. And I am so glad I did it’s so beautiful and a peaceful place

Good bus trip from Symi port,book through Dodekanisos ferry from Rhodes town. 20 minutes each way and you have 1hr to visit which was enough to walk around and have a drink the cafe next door.

Very quiet area, church looks simple on the outside but deceptive, it’s incredible inside, the most detailed church I’ve seen in Greece, literally everything was detailed, little cafe available nearby and a bakery where they make delicious goods. This was included on a symi island tour and I thought it was worth it

Lovely service here all staff members are kind and friendly happy to go above and beyond this was meant to me a lovely getaway for my and my partner are 1st holiday together away in the middle of no where was told there will be entertainment here as we arrived there was no entertainment the rooms aren’t what they look like we will both won’t be coming back here it’s are 1st time and last night we come along with the room not being cleaned enough walked into the bathroom as previous person has left stuff on the walls(snobs) all dried and all the mirrors and shower was stinking no entertainment or anything only music nothing in the description on us viewing the hotel before booking was here what a big let down on are first holiday together

This hotel is classed as all inclusive. If you go please bring lots of money to eat out because the food is disgusting full of flies and cold and the same nearly every day I would not give it to a dog. The only good this is the beach is right outside. Don’t expect to get wifi in your room. Only accessible by the pool or the lobby and it is terrible. The bathroom sink leaking water all over the floor as well.

I come here every year. Just had my 4th holiday here. Amazing service as usual from all the staff, Roger Metin oruno furkhan ahmed bedir on the bar and all the boys in the restaurant. Lovely food, good variety, rooms lovely and cleaned every day, entertainment almost every night which was brilliant as always. And yes I’ll be back again next May, look forward to seeing it. Highly recommend my favourite hotel and resort.

Awful experience. HOTEL AND MINDSET OF STAFF LOCKED IN ANOTHER CENTURY. Very basic old run down hotel. Only Turkish food. NO food labels. Pool tiny. NO AIR CONDITIONING IN 50 -55%DEGREE HEAT. He was told to stay away from me. Crazy. My bag and personal belongings stolen Staff orginally refused to check CTV. Very traumatic experience However there were some very kind members of staff Jasmine maid, Ikle reception 2 of ladies and guys who took me pice station and manager Sadik was helpful, letting me use his phone. Bar staff lovely. Only basic drinks, no snack bar, no ice cream or lollies Still trying to wrap my head around the whole experience.

Where do I start …The hotel is very basic ,we had no WiFi ,shower door and it was dirty and beds were like rocks.The food was disgusting barely edible and no staff members spoke English.There was no activities or entertainment.The only saving grace was the beach and weather even though people fight over sun-beds and if you didn’t want that needed to pay extra for them.Turkey is beautiful but don’t go near this hotel

We booked a room one month in advanced, for 3 people. When we arrived we were told that the reservation got mixed up and that we would stay at another hotel . They didn’t give our money back and refused to take any responsibility for their mistake . We got to the other hotel and it was much smaller and the rooms were tiny . The bathroom wasn’t even a proper bathroom. The only accommodation we got was that we could eat and use the pool at the other hotel but that was it .

Beautiful location. A lot of the structures are intact and well preserved it was difficult to get there without a guide, taxi or tour group, so it can be pricey. The ancient library is a major highlight and they do live reacting of Roman guards. Lots of history. There is a small bathroom and market stand will snacks and food around the midway point of the walk. When we went (end of June) it was 103 degrees F° with no shade. We spent about an hour and a half walking through but needed to leave due to the heat. Would love to walk around more. Important: bring good hiking shoes that grip, the marble floors are polished and slippery. We had hiking boots and sandals and still slipped a few times, but our friends with simple sneakers had to walk very slowly and carefully to avoid falling down.

Ephesus is located in Anatolia, near the modern town of Selçuk, in the İzmir Province of western Turkey. It is world famous. It was designed not only to store scrolls and books—holding an estimated 12,000 manuscripts at its peak—but also to serve as a monumental tomb for Celsus, whose sarcophagus lies in a crypt beneath its main floor. Mark Anthony walked here long ago and households thrived and m markets prospered.

*Echoes of the Apostles and Empire* Standing in the Great Theatre of Ephesus is like standing in history itself. With a capacity of over 25,000 seats, this awe-inspiring structure was the largest theatre in ancient Asia Minor and still dominates the site with its grandeur. Built during the Hellenistic period and later expanded by the Romans, it hosted dramas, political events, and gladiator fights. For Christians, this theatre holds profound significance. According to Acts 19, the Apostle Paul’s preaching led many Ephesians to abandon idol worship, especially that of the goddess Artemis. This angered local silversmiths who made shrines for Artemis, causing a riot. The mob dragged Paul's companions into this very theatre, and for two hours the crowd shouted, "Great is Artemis of the Ephesians!" Knowing this brings the stones to life with spiritual history. Unfortunately, during our recent visit, the theatre was under restoration, so we weren’t able to go inside. Still, seeing it from the outside was deeply moving. One unexpected highlight was meeting the famous local cat “Garfield,” who’s become something of a mascot at the theatre. We took so many fun photos with him—it truly made the visit even more memorable. Believed to be the largest in the ancient world: could host up to 25,000 seated spectators. Initially used for drama, in Roman times gladiatorial combats were also held on its stage. Elton John performed a special, solo concert at the Great Theater on July 17, 2001.

We stayed in Izmir and drove to it. It was roughly an hour to get to it. Very nice site and well preserved.

A must see. Our guide was very knowledgeable and made it easy to visualize how the residents lived. Very advanced facilities such as water pipes, tolet system etc. Make sure you arrive early. When our tour bus left the cars trying to enter was out of sight.

We did all the walking around in 3 hours but this will definitely depend on you. January is great as there are not many tourists and prices of hotels are cheaper.

The site is closed indeed, as they are actively building a new entrance pavilion (I have seen no restoration being done on the site itself). Still you can get a good view from behind the fence and you can also walk around the temple behind the fence - there is a paved path, getting views from several angles - it still gives an unforgettable grandeur impression. The security cameras on the perimeter make sure nobody scales the fence. The temple is so massive it’s surprising it has suffered such severe damage, but apparently a powerful earthquake has destroyed it in 7th century A.D.

I visited the Temple of Apollo in early September on a weekday, and it was a great, with hardly any other tourists. The quiet made it easy to take in the atmosphere. We skipped the headphone guide since there are plenty of well-written boards around the site. You’re free to walk right up the temple steps and wander around at your own pace, which I loved. The inner sanctum, where the oracle once spoke, still carries a strong presence. The acoustics there are striking; even a soft voice carries. If you’re after an authentic ancient site that hasn’t been overrun by crowds, this is a place I’d highly recommend. It feels both accessible and special.

Beautiful ruins. Little tip... Admission is only 6 euros per person so save yourself some money and dont buy a tour. It a 12 minute walk off the No.4 bus route. The same bus will take you to the Mavisehir Market. The bus is 25 lira each which is a bargain but it can get very very crammed.

It is a very very great historical place and it is in quite good situation and well preserved… Definitely recommend to visit it… We visited the Temple of Apollo and it was really really great due to the fact first of all that the facade lightings were very lovely and second it was marvellous to run away from day heat so by the evening visit you really can enjoy the the site in a more different way because the evening hours provides more cooler temperature and on the other hand it has also less crowded environment…

The Temple of Apollo in Didim is an absolute gem! From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by the awe-inspiring ruins. It wasn’t just a temple; it was home to one of the most famous oracles of the ancient Greek world, second only to Delphi. Pilgrims from across the Mediterranean traveled there to consult the oracle, making it a major spiritual and cultural hub. You should definitely visit this historical place.

Its a very pretty and popular place a lot to explore city centre the cost for a taxi to this place is 250tl. The ticket to go in is 300tl per person you can only pay in TL.

Beautiful and sacred holy ground. Be prepared to do a lot of walking as most vehicles are not permitted close to the entrance. We enjoyed seeing the home of the Virgin Mary. The wall of intentions was moving and special. We enjoyed walking the grounds and looking at the landscape. Recommend dressing modestly or you will need to wear a covering. Photography is not permitted in the house.

The House of the Virgin Mary is a very small site, and the entrance fee is 500 TL per person, which feels a bit steep given the size. Still, the place holds strong spiritual significance, and if you’re religiously inclined, you’ll probably appreciate the atmosphere and the peaceful surroundings. A warning about taxis: drivers will often try to charge €40–50 for the trip from Selçuk, which is outrageous. Don’t pay anything close to that. Around €20 total for a full car (up to four passengers) is more realistic. Always agree on the price before getting in. Overall, the visit is meaningful mainly from a religious or spiritual perspective. If that’s important to you, it’s worth seeing. If not, it’s more of an optional stop rather than a must-see.

In Meryemana, Turkiye, the Virgin Mary's House is located. Reverant, quiet, with a prayer wall we stood in a contemplative mode, remembering the struggles of Jesus and the prophecy that was to unfold. I thought of the pain Mary and her sisters endured, but still after all these years Mary provides love and forgiveness to all those in need. These prayers and requests were represent at the prayer wall at Mary's House. It was symbolic of the needs from people all over the world. One gentle man touched my heart so, as he went around retrieving prayer notes that had fallen off the wall. He tenderly returned each note from the ground to the wall. A qentle act of kindness. There are no photographs allowed in Mary's House but prayer candles may be purchased there. Worth the visit!

Mary lived in this house after death of Jesus Christ. The house has two small rooms. The environment is very peaceful here. You will need to walk 10 mins to reach the house. Because of queue you may get a few seconds only inside the house. Overall, a must visit place if you are in Izmir.

Is it actually Mary’s house or just a tourist trap? Jury is still out. Is it worth a visit for you to decide for yourself? Yup. They herd you through the house at a gallop so don’t expect to spend much time checking things out inside the house. Basically just a quick walk through of a tiny house. There’s a holy fountain and a wishing wall too. The whole site might take you 20 minutes to get through.

A must visit especially for Catholics. They say that this is more believable as the house of mother Mary because John the Baptist went to Ephesus, Turkey after Jesus died. And since Jesus entrusted Mary with John, it is believed that they both went together to Ephesus, Turkey and Mary spent her days in this place.

There was about a 30 minute wait to reach the house. As you reach the house there is an open air alter with priests leading mass. You would need to check the schedule if necessary. Our guide shared that only about 12-14% of the house found in the foundation is from an archeological dig. You walk thru 3 rooms that include religious pictures and statue. After you leave the house you come to 3 fountains that have been blessed. There is then a fence where people tie their prayers. At the end of the walkway are restrooms and a museum shop.where you can purchase blessed icons. Right outside the gates and at the entry are shops selling souvenirs, candy and food. To me this seems out of place at a religious place.

Since you can’t really drive all the way through the park I have to get a rating at three. Is our understanding that there is a military base at the end of the peninsula which overlooks Greece so they do not allow your access to that part of the pregnancy.

Rated as one of the top 10 beaches we found in an online article we decided to head along in the car. The park is separated into around 4 or 5 beach areas each with its own car park and its own access to the beach. Several have cafes serving soft drinks (non alcoholic) and snacks only in what I can only describe as an archaic fashion. With dirty sunbeds at a cost there are however, free to use picnic benches which I would highly recommend but seemingly a feature well recognised by the locals. If you're lucky enough to be traveling in a car then I'd recommend finding your own private beach!

I went to Dilek National Park on a weekday in May 2023 driving a motorbike. You can only enter from the north side of the peninsula for a ticket. There are a few beaches that you can visit and are not too far from the entrance. Beaches are beautiful and equipped with facilities for pic-nic, bars and plenty of toilets. At the time of my visit, none of the cafes/restaurants were open. Unfortunately the area that you can visit is quite limited compared to the extent of the peninsula, I wish I could visit more. Also, if you need info about the peninsula and trekking possibilities there isn’t much available and I recommend visiting the tourist information point in Kusadasi (opposite the port).

If you have a car or go by bus or taxi the beaches are a refreshing change from the resort complex! Relatively harmless boar roam around scavenging but only because idiots feed them and don't understand they'll keep coming!

This place is huge. One can find anything from printing service to suits and souvenirs. Of course there are a lot of restaurants and cafes. There is no need to visit every corner of it. Maybe just casually stroll and see where one is lead to.

Beautiful place, lots of stores to buy just about anything. Some are cheap and others expensive. Cool experience seeing the historical building and having a tasty Turkish coffee in the middle of the market. It’s closed on sundays. Free to walk around

A great place to walk around. We tried the mussels and rice. They were excellent. We also did the pickle juice which was also excellent. Lots and lots of interesting shops.

Unique bazaar as there is no goods and shops for tourists. Most of famous bazaar in Turkey is full of shops for tourist with expensive price. But here, most of customers are Izmir people. I like this bazaar. Merchants are friendly and kind! Visit here and feel some authentic turkey bazaar vibe!

Kemeralti bazaar is quite a busy place. You can find hundreds of things to buy from there as the prices are reasonably low. Make sure you have enough space in your suitcase before visiting the bazaar because there are too many souvenirs to buy. There are beautiful bags with Turkish embroidery patterns and praying beads and countless teas and coffees. There are numerous cafes to have a quick bite but they are all super busy. This bazaar is a must visit place.

The most beautiful island, if you like Greece it's a place you must go, still very authentic, lots of beautiful beaches, churches, historic places to visit, if you don't go you will never understand the peace it brings to the soul.

The pleasant atmosphere of the island sets you up for rest. There are places for quiet relaxation and fun, noisy recreation. A large selection of taverns and souvenirs. But the cats here are not fed or given water either How to change this???

I visit the island every year! It is a big island with lovely places full of restaurants and coffee! The beaches are lovely and you can still find beaches that don't charge the umbrella and the sunbeds on top of your order! Pythagoreio, Marathokabos, Kokkari, and psili Ammos are a few of the places you can visit!

While being over in Turkey we done the day visit to the Greek island Samos. We had a really nice day over on the island and would recommend going if you've got the chance. It's absolutely beautiful! The only thing I would say is make sure you know what you want to do before going and possibly think about hiring a motorbike or car for the day as some of the main attractions are more inland of the island. We visited a lovely little pizza restaurant just along down from the main square of the marina which I would also highly recommend, really reasonable priced and amazing food!

Very nice island. In September the water was too cold to really swim or dive, but the people are very nice and the prices are only high in Pythagoreo and Kampos, everywhere else it's pretty cheap. The highlight of the island is the village Manolates there you can also find the only museum of the island. You need a car to explore the island. Its big enough to keep you occupied for a couple of weeks, but nearly all churches are closed or in disrepair. Honest review: Its totally worth a visit and has its own charme, but don't expect too much.

Wonderful place. The locals are really friendly and the island is great for hiking. It has a bit more foliage than some of the smaller islands which makes for great shade when the sun's burning. There are a lot of affordable places to eat and quite some nice hotels (I stayed at Villa Maria). You can get around the island by car or bus (or walking but that takes a bit long if all you need are some tomatoes for dinner). If you intend to use the bus often, which is what I did, make sure to inquire about departure times with locals, as this appears to change often. *Sidenote: I added a photo of the bus schedule as for april 2022.

Big surprise! Green island with beautiful beaches and warm, crystal clear sea and a few attraction. For active people I highly recommend hiking to Seitani beach and swimming in potami waterfalls, for lazy days Livadaki beach is a must, you won’t be bored. The people are super friendly, kind and talkative. Food tasty and affordable. I would say the west side prefer meat, in the East sea food is more common. There is no clubs. A lot of elderly tourists mainly from Germany. The city of Samos and Karlovasi looks like abandoned with its damaged buildings in other hand Pitagorio is absolutely lovely. Rent a car is a need. Take your swimming shoes but can forget snorkling. Temperature in October still warm 23-28°, evenings are chill and windy. Overall It is nice place to visit and rest.

This UNESCO world heritage archaeological site is open to public and is setting for Greek mythology of the Trojan war. Excavation started in 1871 and you can see lot of ruins. If lucky you can see archaeological work in progress at sections of the site. Boardwalk access everywhere so makes walking easier but you need hat, sunscreen and comfy walk shoes. Have to pay fee to enter. At entrance there is replica of Trojan Horse. Local village goat seen wandering about ruins

Little remains of the actual buildings, but the historical and cultural significance of the location as well as the events that took place around it make up for the lack of structural integrity. Perhaps the most impressive is the entrance ramp which has been preserved in astonishingly solid shape. Also, for this who read and adore the Illiad, one can literally sense the spirit of the ancient battles amidst the ruins. With a hit of imagination, you can picture Agamemnon's army spread out across the surrounding plain as they plan and wage the attack on Troy.

I enjoyed Troy - but I only recommend going if you have an interest in the history and myths of Troy. The archaeological site itself is not the most impressive I’ve seen and it costs €27. It also does not take very long to explore. An hour is enough. For anyone trying to get the public mini bus there - as of writing this it goes from under the bridge if you search Troy Dolmus on google maps. It costs 100 lira and took about 45 minutes each way.

It was an honour to visit such an agent and historic place of a people and culture from so long ago. I really wished there were more bi-lingual translations of the text surrounding the site. Also better sign posting as I’m more of a visual person it was hard to see which versions of the city were specific to the corners of the site that we walked. The Trojan horse it self looked very commercial and ‘overly designed’ considering it was placed in the enter square of the old city.

Was quite cool. But… if you been to Roma. It’s a bit cliche. But this is 3000 BC. Still worth to go if you are not tired of 11+ hours same stay drive in the car. So simple high meat Shell gasoline test area foods. Not for foodies!

Another historical place in western Turkey. Walk through the ruins of this well known ancient city. You can barely imagine how it should have looked in the past times. In the far you can see the Dardanelles and can imagine the tale of Homers Iliad. Of course you will find the troyan horse. There is another horse in Canakkale, which is the original requisite from the movie 'Troy'.

The bay itself is beautiful. The beach would be beautiful if it wasn't so ram-packed with beach chairs and umbrellas. You can barely move. Also big boats come in and dump 100s of passengers into the bay. Taverna Leonidas is a lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch, and the archaeological site of Aliki is right next to the beach and worth a visit. Therefore I'd visit the beach if I were visiting the archaeological site, but wouldn't drive here just for the beach - there are better. Parking is up on the main road. There's a quieter beach behind on the others side of the peninsula, 2 min walk from here.

Such a beautiful beach! In the early morning (9 AM) it is not crowded, there is plenty of space where you can choose from. We chose a set of sunbeds which were 20€ per set, without anything included. But the staff there (a lady and a man) are very friendly, attentive. We ordered 2 coffees and a water and they were brought in less than 5 minutes. There are no waves, the water is clear and lean, perfect for kids and families. There are parking spaces along the main road, a couple of minutes apart from the beach.

To crowdedness for our taste. But other than that, water was perfect until tourist boats came with their garbage which ended up in water. You should definitely come early here in order to park your car. This is a beach for families with children, so if you are not fond of that, avoid it.

It has nice views but the space is not well maintained, i came back after 2 years and some informative panels are destroyed and vegetation can be irrigated maybe.

We visited Aliki Beach and chose to stay at the middle beach bar with the brown sunbeds. The price for two sunbeds and an umbrella is €20 , this is only for the sunbeds, and anything you order from the bar is not included in this price. The staff makes sure to inform you about this right from the beginning. The prices are very reasonable for a beach bar. Everything was great the staff were friendly, polite, very well organized, and they also speak English very well, which makes communication easy and pleasant. We definitely plan to return!

It is a wonderful beach with crystal clear water. There are many facilities in the beach with different prices, I recommend the place with the beige sunbeds ( the one next to the brown sunbeds). It had a minimum consumption amount of 30 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella without extra fees so it was great.

Excellent for kids, but expensive. First and second rows of sunbeads are minimum consumption 70eur in taverna, other rows were from 50eur, and it is always full. You need to park on the street, and there are a lot of car parks.

A must visit when visiting the peloponnese, has so much history and great things too see. I went because my wife is really into old things but as a neutral I found the place fascinating with information boards all around the site telling you what each rock was and what it was for. The tickets are well priced for what's included and will take up 3 hours or more of your day. There's also plenty of shaded areas as it does get hot in the sun.

Splendid! Such a beautiful place. The ancient site is very impressive and the museum is worth visiting. Arrive early to avoid the crowd(the tourist and school buses starts rolling in around 11am) and allow yourself a couple of hours as it is big. Entry is €20 per person, but every 1st Sunday of the month is free! 😉

Very interesting to see, where the Olympics originated (both the historical site itself as the two museums) One about the history of the site, the other one about the history of the (old) Olympic Games. With one ticket you can visit all three locations. It is a walkable distance from each other. As for the archaeological site... amazing!!!

this is a massive area of archeological exploration. it is the home of the worlds first stadium dedicated to athletic competition. the start line is still there. it boasts large training areas, roman baths and temples. the area is relatively flat and easy to negotiate. this multiple acre dig really gives the visitor a feeling of what their lives were like. the museum has an amazing number of relics from the grounds. this is apparently the site of the olympic games. our guide the importance of these games in opening the doors to peace.

Amazing to walk through so much history - having a guide to explain the finer details was extremely helpful. The size of the site & all of the various buildings across Greek & Roman history was fascinating. Worth the bus trip.

We spent hours here. It's absolutely amazing. We first came on the August full moon but due to local fires it was closed. We spent 3-4 hours in the 2 museums and we had about an our in the archaeological site, we could have done with at least another 30 minutes at least. It really is impressive and a must for visiting. The ticket for the 2 museums and site costs 20 euro per person. Children were free. You can purchase your tickets at all 3 places and where ever you buy it that's where you have to enter first.

Wow first time here . Wasn't that busy we had 2 hours to walk around where the first Olympics were held. A lot of bits and pieces marble. The museum was cool alot of artifacts and info.

Visited during the weekday; lots of buses with tourists from cruises. I recommend coming after 12pm as the groups left and also as it gets hotter outside you get a cool room to walk. The displays are typically well presented and annotated with brief useful descriptions.

Great collection, wonderfully displayed, excellent facilities. One can only begin to imagine the sheer volume of wealth, artifacts and other objects of artistic and material value that used to be here, the penultimate location of reverence in all the ancient Greek world. All the way through the Archaic, the Classical and the Hellenistic Period, which add up to more than half a millenia, the Hellenes accumulated offerings to Zeus, Hera and many other Gods in this holiest of locations. Even after eons of plundering, this site has offered us all these magnificent exhibits. Enjoy them!

Definitely worth a visit. We stayed at villa kriton so if you are still looking for a place I can recommend that. Free if you are under 25 and EU member. We didn’t buy the tickets before hand and just bought them at the museum. We recommend going a little later 5pm was perfect for us almost now people at the sight and the temperature was fine.

One of the most historically significant places in the world. If your into mythology or the Olympics or maybe just a history buff this is the place for you. Together with the site of old Olympia this stop is simply amazing. Much more still exists than I ever imagined after almost 3000 years. Highly recommended.

Part of archaeological site of olympia beautiful place. Shame a lot have been looted years ago. Would have been great if there was an audio devices to explain as its very difficult to get near some and read the information when someone parked in front of the object. I found more QR codes would have been useful to read it latter. Worth visit even if a lot of objects have been looted over the years of excavations. French, German archaeologist.

Learned a great amount of history about the origin of the Olympics. Had a tour guide and highly recommend using one or all you will be seeing are a bunch of ruins. The stories behind the ruins are needed. Also, was treated to a Greek lunch and entertaing dancing.

It’s a very beautiful modern building. The moment you enter you can tell that the exhibition is well organised. It’s a lot to look at but occasionally there are paragraphs on the wall about the time the artefacts are from. The translations are in Greek, English and German. It’s very educational and if you‘re visiting the archeological site the museum is a must! For example: The Nike statue. It stood in front of the Zeus temple and is now a part of the museum. It definitely is worth the experience and even if you‘re not a fan of history there’s just generally a lot to look at and it’s quite beautiful. I would recommend going at around 11 am because later in the day there‘ll be more visitors but I couldn’t complain.

Very clean hotel. Receptionist very helpful. Staff lovely in general. Excellent warm pool and another smaller one for kids although too deep really. Bar at the pool was great and there's another by the beach,again Excellent. Rooms are not overly sized but fine really and modern with a decent sized bathroom and balcony. Bad points : We were greeted on arrival with the climate charge which is now €5 instead of €3 per night. Then we were asked if we wanted air-conditioning on which was another €8 per night. As if that wasn't enough there's another €3 per night if you want the use of the safe !! So a ten night holiday had an extra charge of €160. Want to pay even more ? The parasols and sunbeds in the grounds of the hotel look lovely don't they? If you want to use them there's another €15 charge per day making a total of €310 added to your holiday. When I booked this hotel I assumed I booked a room and hotel with the use of what's in it! The sunbeds on the beach are €20 but to charge for them is acceptable and normal. Such a shame they feel they need to charge like that as the hotel is nice in a great location.

Great hotel!! I would rate it 4 stars instead of 3, breakfast is very extended, really nice staff. Sofia at the reception is a lovely warm welcoming person. The hotel is next to the beach which is sand beach so great. Really nice vibe, no music at the pool which we liked and no entertainment so a nice quiet hotel. Everything super clean! Only bed matrasses could be better, they were really hard.

Brilliant hotel right on the beach. Breakfast was a good spread. Pools are great, beach bar is good. Only thing that one needs to be aware of is that the airport is right behind the hotel over the road, so all day and up to about 10pm you have landing and taking off planes coming over super low.

I stayed at this hotel for just one night, and overall, it was a decent experience. One of the biggest advantages was its great location, especially for travelers — it’s very close to the airport, which made getting there super convenient. While you can hear the sound of planes taking off, I found it surprisingly non-disruptive and easy to tune out. However, the room was quite small, which could be uncomfortable for longer stays or if you’re traveling with a lot of luggage. For a short stay like mine, though, it was manageable and served its purpose well. If you’re looking for a place near the airport for a quick overnight stop, this hotel is a convenient and acceptable choice.

Staff is nice, breakfast is good and very close to one of the nicest beaches in Zakynthos, refresh every day. I recommend booking here!

Whilst we were holidaying in Kalamaki. We used this as a base for visiting the beach. Great food, great value, fantastic location, just an all round friendly place.

It would be nice place with easy access to the water but it’s full of drunk young polish and brits. There is tons of glass and trash that is not being cleaned. I would rather go to kalamaki

A lovely, long sandy beach lined with plenty of bars and restaurants along the way,perfect for a relaxing day by the sea. The water was shallow, clear, and great for swimming or just cooling off. We really enjoyed our trip here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful spot with good amenities nearby.

Busy yet lovely sandy beach. The sea is a few meters from your sunbed (should you wish to rent one... 10 for 2 and umbrella) and as smooth as a pond. The beach bars are reasonably priced for a snack. A view to enjoy and if you like planes, a good spot yo see them come in to land!!

We really enjoyed this beach overall. Water was clean and very shallow for kids to play. Beach was fairly clean from what we saw with many Restaurants and Beach Bars near by as well as some water activities for rent as well. We’d definitely return here again some day.

Laganas Beach is a wide sandy beach with shallow and clear waters, perfect for swimming and relaxing. The area is lively, with many bars, restaurants, and water sports options, so there is always something to do. It can get crowded, especially during peak season, but the atmosphere is fun and vibrant. A great spot if you enjoy long walks by the sea, good food nearby, and a mix of relaxation and entertainment.

The photos are taken after a storm. The beach is covered with sand and a few clams. You don't need special shoes for going into the sea as the first meters are with sand and clams, but after that it's only sand. There are multiple restaurant/beach clubs which offer sunbeds for 10 euro/person, drinks not included.

Clean and quiet beach. Sand! Not rocks. Chairs with umbrellas to let. Not much parking. The water is beautiful.

This is for the south nudist section of Scala around the large rocks. Mid Sept and and the beach was great. Late Sept 2025 and the beach was getting pretty well destroyed by the storm. Was small pebbles and loads of fish for snorkelling. Also easy to swim around to Spithi and Λουτράκι Παραλία FKK the next beach along which are both nudist. Spithi is not good but Λουτράκι Παραλία FKK is huge and great. Those are quite difficult to get to direct as the car parking is severely limited.

Long beach clear water stones and sand mostly stones. You'll need water shoes as its very stoney. But it's a beautiful beach we just laid our towel on stones and sat Dippin feet. Skala is a long beach so plenty of space you can hire deck chairs or sunbeds and umbrella if you wish. You can sit close to or far away from water sports the 1 place on beach for watersports is amazing and super friendly. No pressure from them either if u do sit close by.

Lovely beach, would recommend sea shoes as it stoney!! But once tour in its ok, it's also a bit of a drop off, 6 feet in and your chest deep. But still lovely

Beautiful beach with a relaxed vibe — I stayed at the 9 Musses Hotel beach, where a set (2 sunbeds and a large umbrella) goes for €12. The water was refreshing but not too cold, and while water shoes aren’t a must, they could come in handy since the beach is a mix of small rocks and sand. The beach bar menu had all the classics you’d expect, and I’d personally recommend the Margarita pizza — simple and tasty. Prices were very reasonable. It’s a great spot to spend the day soaking up the sun, and if you feel like grabbing dinner or going for a nice stroll, the charming town of Skala is just above the beach, offering a lovely walking area and plenty of restaurants to explore.

I loved ot!!! Nice, clean, long....enteance is nice...who likes snorkling it is greqt...there is lots of fishes...lots of bars if you like that and lots of place for intimacy if you are not for sunbeds and restaurants

Very very big and nice beach which honestly surprised me. Great water, sand is mixed (probably imported). Nearby hillside with parking is gorgeous with a really beautiful small city. Road from Argostoli to here is nicer and easier to drive then going to north or east side of island.

Very nice beach. If you’re lucky, you can spot plenty of fish. However, there are also quite a lot of wasps—more than you usually see on other beaches in Kefalonia. We had brought some fruit with us, but we couldn’t eat it because the wasps started gathering. I even got stung by one

I really enjoyed this place! The view is beautiful, the drink service is great, and the beach is perfect even for non-swimmers since the water isn’t steep. Many people mention the wasps, but they’re just part of nature — you get used to them after a while. The sunbeds are free as long as you order from Acron Bar. The staff never pressured us about how much to order, which made the experience even more relaxing. We simply chose the sunbeds we liked, ordered a few beers and cocktails, and enjoyed that perfect vacation feeling: sitting back with a book while someone brings you your favorite drinks. Prices seemed reasonable to us, though “high” and “low” can mean different things to different people, so it’s best to check the menu first. If the sea is calm, you’ll see plenty of fish gathering around you — they don’t bite or bother you, it’s just fun to watch them swim by. Another thing I loved is that it’s a stone beach rather than sand. You stay clean, with no sand sticking to your feet or ending up in the car or hotel room. Swimming shoes can make walking more comfortable, but they’re not absolutely necessary if you don’t mind going barefoot. All in all, it’s a lovely spot to relax, swim, and enjoy drinks by the sea. Highly recommend!

Antisamos Beach is often promoted as one of the top ten beaches in the world. While it is undoubtedly beautiful, I personally wouldn’t place it among the world’s absolute best. It’s certainly worth a visit, but it didn’t leave a lasting impression strong enough to make me want to return. The beach features white pebbles, which give the water a striking turquoise-blue color, especially near the shore. However, just a few meters after entering the water, it drops off into deep sea quite abruptly, so most people stay and swim within the first 10 meters of the shoreline. Along the beach, there are several restaurants that advertise “free sunbeds and free parking.” This, however, comes with fine print — the sunbeds are only “free” if you spend a minimum of €30–€45, depending on the establishment. It’s important to ask for the exact conditions upfront to avoid surprises. There is also a section of the beach with paid sunbeds that cost €15–€20 per set, without any consumption required. And finally, there’s a public area where you can bring your own umbrella and towel, but keep in mind that the pebbles here are quite large and rough, which makes it less comfortable for lying down without proper padding. For those who enjoy watersports, the far end of the beach offers a variety of guided water sports activities, which adds some excitement to the overall experience. All in all, Antisamos Beach is lovely to see and worth visiting once, especially for the vivid water color and mountain backdrop. But with the crowds, pricing conditions, and lack of comfort in the public section, it doesn’t quite live up to the global hype in my view. At the end Of this review I must underline my nightmare of this beach- wasps, there are thousands of them and they are very annoying.

Very good value, great parking, super beach, clear calm water, free sun beds and great service. Two of us - 3 big beers, fanta and a small meal for 2 all for €45. Definitely the best beach we visited in the island.

The beach was amazing - the water crystal clear and sunbeds and changing facilities abound. There’s a restaurant that has a variety of foods and desserts and they bring it right to your sunbed. The road to get there is a spiral wind but definetly worth it. We spent a memorable day there and didn’t want to leave.

Amazing beach! Clear turquoise water, pebbles on the beach itself, breathtaking views both from the way to the beach and the water itself. Prices for bed rental were standard (15 euro for 2 beds and an umbrella). The cocktails at the beach bar were nice (if a bit pricey).

Drogati Cave offers a memorable experience that's worth the visit. The cave itself is impressive, a fascinating natural formation that provides a cool and unique environment to explore. It's a straightforward and enjoyable excursion. Adjacent to the cave is a restaurant with a pool, which makes for a convenient stop. The availability of these amenities allows for a simple day trip, where you can tour the cave and then relax nearby. The restaurant provides a place to eat and the pool is a good option for unwinding. It's a practical and easy way to combine two different activities in one location.

The Drogarati Caves in Kefalonia are truly impressive and worth a visit if you enjoy natural wonders and underground landscapes. Estimated to be over 150 million years old, the cave is filled with stalactites and stalagmites forming fascinating shapes. The atmosphere is cool and quiet, giving it a magical feel, and the size of the main chamber is surprising—it has even been used for concerts thanks to its incredible acoustics. The pathways are well marked and the visit is quite manageable, though you should be prepared for some steep steps when entering and exiting. A unique experience that adds something different to your time on the island.

On our second-to-last day in Kefalonia, we caught an extremely rainy day, so we decided to look for some indoor activities. That’s how we ended up visiting this cave — and even though it’s quite small, it has a certain charm and beauty to it. We really enjoyed the experience! 6€/pers.

Another of Kefalonias beautiful natural attractions There are quite a few steps to get down to the cave, and I'd say about 98% of the steps have railings, just stick to the correct side and you should have no problems getting up or down. The cave is huge and the acoustics are amazing, I was lucky that a tourist was singing at one point in the cave and I was so mesmerized that I forgot to record until the last 5 seconds of the song. Truly beautiful place and the cafe at the top serves a gorgeous iced coffee with ice cream.

The Drogarati Cave is a feature just outside Sami. It costs about €7 to enter. Visitors buy their tickets in a broad reception area and then follow a path down to the cave entrance. There was a sign saying no photographs, so I didn’t take any.. The cave is huge and there are concrete steps that lead visitors to points of interest and on a roundabout tour. It’s ~18°C inside. The steps are all covered in carpet to help visitors not slip. Nonetheless, we did spot one person go over. Lighting was good, but a bit harsh in places. The way back up to the surface seemed quite long, but the handrails helped. There was a good deal of puffing and panting from the older visitors when they reached the top. Car parking was provided by a neighbouring cafe, that had a pool and looked really good. Worth the visit, if you don’t mind steps.

It was ok. Not amazing and felt like I didn't learn anything. Spectacular formations though and the carpet on the wet floors were a great idea. Lights did seem to disoriente some people as they were shining where they needed to walk so I had to help guide someone. But I do understand it's to light up the cave for people to actually see stuff. Still I'd love to learn how this was discovered, what types of rock formations there are. Ik I can Google but still

It is a cave underground with stalgmites and stalactites. Need to go down on several steps which are quite steep. Old people and those with heart problems might have a problems walking these stairs down and up. Can get a walk in the cave and spend as much time as you like. In hot summer days is very refreshing and chilling to get inside. At the entrance there are caffes and souvenir shops, a free parking lot to park the car or the bus. 6€ is the fee for adults and 3€ for the children.

Easy to access huge car park area and beautiful turquoise sea. The best beach so far. There is a little canteen to buy some drinks or snacks. They are smiling and products aren’t too expensive, affordable.

Super nice! Water very clear and clean. There is park and quite a lot of shade if you want it. Very busy though - some beaches nearby were similar with fewer people if you are looking for a quieter spot

It's a very nice, beautiful beach with white pebbles. The road leading to it is pleasant and convenient, and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can also enjoy diving if the conditions are right, as long as there aren't any big waves that make the water very hazy.

From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by breathtaking natural beauty. The crystal-clear turquoise waters are incredibly inviting, perfect for swimming and snorkeling, with an abundance of fish to spot just a few feet from the shore. The pebbled beach is meticulously clean, and while comfortable for lounging, water shoes are a good idea for easy entry into the sea. The surrounding lush greenery and dramatic cliffs provide a stunning backdrop, making every view feel like a postcard. There's a small, charming beachside cantina that serves refreshing drinks and snacks, which is incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and the service was prompt. The facilities are basic but well-maintained, blending seamlessly with the natural environment.

Another stunning pebble beach ⛱️ 💙 Stunning and such a lovely place to sit, enjoy the sun, i did not go in for a swim but it is aperently lovey.

It is a beach with round stones located in a small bay, bordered by a natural amphitheater of rock slabs, with many pine trees that offer natural shade, the water full of fish is also here with shades of an unreal blue. The mountains in the background are on the neighboring island of Ithaca located 2 km away
