One of the most beautiful spots I’ve seen in India. The place is nice , calm, cool and soothing. Excellent place to click photographs. Sufficient parking space is available. Tickets are around Rs. 20 per person. Looks like they are planning many new attractions here, as there’s plenty of construction going on. Best time to visit would be when they open the nearby dam, and the waterfall is in full flow.

I visited during dasara holidays and it was not very crowded, which made the experience peaceful and enjoyable. The falls looked beautiful and the weather was pleasant. There are some construction works going on near the view points and entrance, but it didn't affect the overall experience much. A great place to enjoy nature and relax.

Entry fees is 20 rupees. The experience is of a lifetime. We went during Monsoon on July’25. We were thrilled to see the sceneric beauty. It feels like milk is gushing down from the waterfalls more than water. India’s biggest waterfall is absolutely an eye soother. The ghat roads leading to jog falls, the Shimoga district, the road exiting Shimoga and going towards kumta all are satisfying. ❤️🧿❤️

Unchalli Waterfall is absolutely breathtaking! The view of the water cascading down from such a great height into the lush green valley is mesmerizing. Awesome Falls near Nilkund Village Plan your visit after October, once the monsoon ends. During the monsoon season, it gets very foggy and you may not be able to see the waterfall clearly — the view appears for only a few seconds every 10 minutes or so, so you’ll need to wait patiently. The waterfall is about a 700-meter trek from the parking area. It’s formed by the Aghanashini River and offers an amazing view. To get the best view of the falls, you’ll need to climb down around 90–100 steps

Had an amazing experience visiting this place with my family during the month of December 2024.We reached in the morning around 11:30 am and had to walk a bit to reach the visiting points.This place can be improved a lot.If you would like to see a beautiful waterfall with less crowd,then this is a must visit place.

The whole area feels like a mini Goa but quieter, making it great for those who prefer a more peaceful atmosphere. A few quick tips: • No water sports here, so it’s more about peace than thrill. • Trekking shoes or slippers with grip help if you explore nearby spots. • Visit during early morning or evening for the best light and fewer people. A wonderful beach for families to enjoy some fun times here. The entrance has a bit of stairs to walk down which can be cumbersome when exiting when you have to climb those same stairs, especially with the sun shining. All in all a beautiful beach. Do visit to experience it yourself.

The most lively beach in Gokarna. The boating from there was top notch. Also the walk to the end of beach along with slight drizzle was amazing. Highly recommended.

It is probably the best beach in Gokarna. There are 5-6 total beaches there which can be accessed both through the roads or hiking the hills. Have been to this place twice and it feels really good to be there. Car parking is an issue there as the number of visitors are gradually increasing in Gokarna. Do visit Mahabaleshwar temple whenever you go there.

It is such a beautiful stretch that sets the tone before you even reach the beach. The road is lined with greenery on both sides, with small cafes and local shops adding a cozy vibe. It’s well connected, easy to navigate, and gives you that relaxed, holiday feeling right away. A perfect prelude to the calm and charm of Kudle Beach itself!

We went to this temple on the Sep 28th 2025. Since it was a weekend it was crowded and there was heavy downpour. The roof needs a renovation and most of the devotees were drenched. Once you are inside, the roofing is good and barely any water is seen leaking. They have a strict dressing policy, please ensure to adhere to it. The queues can stretch long but it's a moving crowd and we got darshan in about 30-40mins. The roads leading to and away from the temple are very narrow, so plan your conveyance accordingly. There are several shops in and around the temple. In monsoon it's best you carry a raincoat(u can get this nearby shop for about 100). Umbrella's won't help you a bit during this season. This temple is a must visit if you are gokarna. Recommended.

I recently visited the temple during dasara and had a great spiritual experience. I was able to do sparsha darshan in the morning, which was very special and peaceful. Though it was a festival weekend, the early morning hours were relatively calm and well managed. The temple atmosphere is divine and the ancient architecture adds to its spiritual charm.

If you want to enjoy bathing in sea water, this will be the best option in India, even better than Goa and Puri sea beach. water is very clear and not so deep ideal for people of all age. For only sight seeing, better go to Om beach. But water will be dirty there.

Gokarna Main Beach is a peaceful and beautiful spot, especially in the mornings when it’s not crowded. The water is clean and the weather pleasant, making it a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Perfect for those looking for a quiet beach experience with good vibes and fewer tourists.

1) Long beach where you find some crowd. 2) Though the beach is not super clean, it is well maintained as per my opinion. 3) One can see 4 to 5 waves coming up one on another at this beach in morning hours. 4) Ample 4 wheeler parking is available. But still you may find difficulty in finding place to park your vehicle. 5) Approach roads are very narrow and you may have to drive through thousands of people walking on these narrow roads.

It was a beautiful beach yes. But out of the 3 beaches I visited (Om, Kudle and Main) I will prefer the other two over this. We started the trek towards Kudle beach from here.

It is a very clean & long beach. There is a little crowd at the entry point however if one ventures further in, the beach is peaceful and secluded. The trafic is also well managed by the local Police.

We visited on weekend. This place was not crowded at that time in Oct end. We did trek in the beach but don’t do trekking in the evening after 5 pm because at that time waves are so high. And u cannot go from one beach to another by trekking.

You must visit this if you are around this place. The temple features rare Kaavi murals—an extinct art form of coastal Karnataka involving red-pigmented plaster over a white base, engraved to reveal intricate designs. Inside, a central courtyard surrounded by cloisters displays images of deities from Hindu epics. Shri Marikamba Devi was installed in 1689 A.D. Sirsi was then a tiny village. The deity which is said to have been found in a local tank was installed here through the efforts of the Nandikeshwarmath Swamiji with the consent of Sadashiva Raya II of Sonda Dynasty, a sub-Kingdom under the famous Vijayanagar Empire. Since then Shri “Devi” has become the popular ‘Grama Devata’. Till recently the administration of the temple was looked after by the elders of the town. But from 1955 A.D. the temple is being administrated by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES comprising of 5 members. The trustees are nominated by the District Judge once in five years. Shri Marikamba is the Mother Divine like Kali of Bengal, Ambaji of Rajasthan and Ambabhavani of Maharashtra. She is Mother in love. She subdues the wicked and protects the Virtuous. It is a fact that all the wishes of her devotees are fulfilled only by their prayers. The annual Chief festivals are ‘Jayanti’, ‘Navaratri’ and ‘Kartheeka’ Illuminations, and bi-annual car festival. Temple is very well managed by the authorities. It has good parking facility, huge entrance and a systematic entry and exits that doesn’t crowd the place. Temple has beautiful paintings inside and goddess is in glory inside the temple. I loved the temple red colour theme. There is Anna prasada for lunch till 2pm.

A place where you don't get a mobile network but it is worth visiting. The rocks were amazing. You will love driving here, make sure your car is powerful. There are some nominal entry fees. You won't get food here so carry your own. You can enjoy it outside.

Surreal experience! It’s truly a must-visit place. The caves are mesmerizing, and the route that takes you there is calming and scenic. The Shiva temple is swayambhu, and the walk from the caves is actually a parikrama to the temple. Droplets of water naturally cascade from the rocks onto the Shivling, making it a one-of-a-kind experience. The light filtering through the rock formations in the caves creates a dramatic and cinematic effect.

Road via Mattighatta road(vaddi) is better as walk to Caves is easy and short. Even for senior citizens this route is better. Carry ☔ and water. There is tea shop just at entry point of trek. U get Maggi and other beverages /edibles items. Place is wonderful

The legend of Yana Caves in Uttara Kannada, Karnataka, is deeply intertwined with the story of Bhasmasura and Mohini. Yana is famous for these two massive rock outcrops known as the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara and the Mohini Shikhara Yana is also well known as a pilgrimage center because of the cave temple below the Bhairaveshwara Shikhara where a Swayambhu ("self-manifested", or "that which is created by its own accord") linga has been formed. Water drips from the roof over the Linga, adding to the sanctity of the place. Yana Rocks made up of limestone . It is near to Sirsi Kumata highway. Vehicle not going near to Rock.. A single lane road was constructed in the thick forest which reduces the trek-length 1.0 kilometres .

You can avoid Treck if you go from Gokarna side after Yana cave you can go for Vibhuti waterfall both just take 6,7 hours so go early and experience awesome trills

I have visited the Sahasralingeshwara Temple near Sirsi twice, and each time has been a deeply spiritual experience. Nestled on the serene banks of the Shalmala River, this sacred site is truly unique, with thousands of Shiva Lingas carved on the rocks. Built under the patronage of King Sadashivarayavarma (1678–1718), the place beautifully reflects the devotion and craftsmanship of that era. Walking along the riverbed, the sight of countless Shivalingas accompanied by carved Nandis creates an atmosphere of divine energy and timeless heritage. The calm flow of the river adds to the temple’s tranquility, making it not just a religious site but also a peaceful retreat for the soul. Each of my visits here has left me with a sense of awe and spiritual fulfillment, as the energy of the place feels constant and eternal.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature! Really peaceful spot surrounded by trees and a beautiful river view. The stairs take you right down close to the water ane shivalimgas, and the whole vibe is super calming. Perfect for a short walk, some quiet time, or just soaking in the natural beauty. Just a heads-up: try not to visit during the rainy season — the steps can get slippery and the water level rises, which makes it a bit tricky to explore safely.

Lingas r beautiful although we could see only few as river was full of water. Don't forget to visit the hanging bridge. Staff there is helpful. Public toilet available but not very clean esp for females.

A divine and peaceful place surrounded by nature! Sahasralinga is truly a hidden gem near Sirsi. The riverbed is filled with beautifully carved Shiva Lingas and Nandi statues, all set against the serene flow of the Shalmala River. It’s a spiritually uplifting experience to see the natural jalabhisheka as the river flows over the Lingas. Best time to visit is post-monsoon or during winter when the water level is low and you can see most of the carvings clearly. The surroundings are calm and green, perfect for a peaceful getaway or family trip. No entry fee, but it’s important to keep the place clean and respect the sanctity. Highly recommend visiting during Maha Shivaratri for a more vibrant atmosphere!

Karwar Beach used to feel like an everyday childhood escape, but now it’s littered with garbage and surrounded by mess. The play area also needs serious attention, with rusted and damaged equipment in need of repair and improvement.

The beach is naturally serene and calm. Not crowded and can walk peacefully. It's dark sanded and has a rustic look. Landscapes are awesome with hills in background. It's just a few minutes detour from NH66 towards Mangalore side. Local government really need to work on the cleanliness side and need to build more facilities and a good toilet. Didn't find any good food stall or restaurant closeby. Dogs and cows wandering in the beach even at late night. Lot of littering all around the beach. Parking space is ample.

It’s a great place to visit. It’s a very small theme based museum. It’s a navy ship INS Chapal and a cargo plane. Only navy ship is converted into museum where you can go inside seeing all the inner things like how to cabins were made,how the staff operated, how the places and engines are designed and assembled. Everything being kept in its original form that’s why it became rotten. But worth visiting. It’s lies somewhere between Gokarna and Goa route(may be I am not correct) Entry fees only 20rs per person. Must visit once.

50 Rs. Entry ticket per head. Could have been managed better by the Karnataka Tourism Board. Since, I have been to the naval museum at Vizag, this feels a little less. The caretaker at the entrance of the Karwar tupalov aircraft museum is very passionate about his job and knowledgeable about the exhibits and enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge with visitors. I hope the government provided better guided facilities to the visitors here since the entry is ticketed.

The Warship & Aircraft museum at the Karwar beach is a special thing. We are allowed to get the glimpse of a decommissioned missile launcher ship of Indian Navy, the INS Chapal. Along with that the anti submarine aircraft Tuplev T-142M is also on display. After watching the amazing machines from inside and outside, one is filled with pride about the skills and hardwork that our soldiers put in for our safety. Photography is allowed on the deck and inside the ship but not inside the plane. AC are installed inside to make our experience more comfortable. A must watch if you go to Karwar. ₹ 50 are charged as ticket fee per person. The museum is open daily from 9.30 to 12.30 and then from 14.00 to 17.00

It's a wonderful experience to see this 2 different war heroes.The complex wiring and control rooms on the ship and jet reveal intense engineering effort. A truly powerful and unforgettable visit. The cockpit view is amazing. Highly recommended.!

It was one of the best experiences to spend quality time with my family, surrounded by nature and enjoying traditional food. I especially loved the mud kitchen items prepared in the old style from our UK side — I’m a big fan! The food was completely tasty, healthy, and reminded us of our roots. The entrance games were on another level, and I had so much fun playing with my little and younger brother. It created beautiful memories for all of us. I sincerely request Agadi Thota to make mud kitchen items available either online or offline, so more people can use them, as they are really good for health. Nowadays, in Dharwad city, I only come across matka water, but not such authentic items. Agadi Thota is a perfect destination to enjoy the real rural beauty and culture of North Karnataka. The farm is well maintained, calm and quiet in lush green surroundings. The activities provided are enjoyable for all age groups. From bullock cart ride, pottery making, boating, rain dance and many others. But mind you they only provide the structure you have to do everything yourself. But the best part is the food of North Karnataka served during entire day..it’s simply awesome..fresh, tasty ,homely and unlimited also.. The staff is very warm and makes sure that whoever comes there have a great time. The concept of organic farming and showing people how to do such type of farming in a very sustainable manner is really appreciated. It’s not about visiting, it can be called as an complete cultural exposure. I would say family outing, school outing or if you are just bored from the life going around. If you are anywhere near Karnataka u must visit this place!

We were searching for some view point and visited this place randomly. Really amazing to see and fantastic view. Only thing is photography not allowed inside premis. You can get some photos outside. Best view point i ever visited, soothing cold air and fog passes through you, we visited after noon so couldn't see much fog, morning is best time to visit. Do carry any ID proof as they will ask in checkpost. Must visit place.

However, to access this beautiful destination, it's essential to obtain permission from KPCL (Karnataka Power Corporation Limited) in Ambikanagar, Dandeli. Once permission is granted, you'll be rewarded with a mesmerizing viewpoint of River Kali as it flows through a deep V-shaped gorge. The river gracefully curves around 90 degrees first towards the right and then towards the left, creating a truly awe-inspiring sight that showcases the raw power and beauty of nature.

I visited here on 20-Apr-2025. Serene place. Parking available. 80 rupees per person. There is a small stall where you can get water and other stuff. From parking to the view point there are steps, climbing upstairs will be a little breathtaking so do have water in hand. One of the best places to visit in Dandeli. Some people do park their vehicle at the ticked counter and tend to walk, trust me it’s doing to be tiring better take your vehicle till the parking place.

“A river cuts through rock, not because of its power, but because of its persistence."... ............ Exploring Karnataka....at Dandeli...... The famous monolithic granite.....Syntheri Rock..... At a distance of 31 km from Dandeli and 16 km from Ulavi, Syntheri Rock is monolithic granite structure with a height of 300 feet, which is located in the dense forests of Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the top Dandeli tourist places to visit. Syntheri Rock is a huge, massive limestone rock formed due to volcanic eruptions some million years ago. It is named after an English lady called Ms. Cinthera who is believed to have discovered this place in 20th century. River Kaneri passes along the side of this rock. Owing to the flow of the river from the vicinity, erosion has resulted in the rocks getting hollowed. The corners of this rock cave are inhabited by numerous pigeons and honeybees. Entry to the venue is controlled by forest department. The site can be reached either by jeep or by walk through the dense forest from the entrance. At the entrance visitors need to pay nominal entry fee and vehicles can go up to the parking area from where visitors need to climb down to reach the base. There is a 15-20 minute walk from the vehicle parking to the rock. A flight of 200 odd steps downwards lead you to the base. The steps are very steep and various types of rocks found in the forest are displayed along the steps.

The food was excellent — fresh, flavourful, and prepared with spices grown on the farm. Birding around the property was wonderful, with many species visible throughout the day. The night safari with owner of property Chinmay Tanshikar and Sahil the naturalist there ,was the highlight of our trip — we spotted a Slender Loris and five species of snakes, making it an unforgettable wildlife experience. A perfect destination for nature lovers looking for tranquillity, good food, and a touch of adventure.

We really enjoyed the trek and jungle safari – spotted some animals and got to experience the raw beauty of nature. What stood out most was the opportunity to learn about organic farming and sustainable practices – very insightful and inspiring. The owner and guide were wonderful hosts, making us feel at home with their warm hospitality and knowledge. We had a wonderful time here. Even the journey to the spice farm is magnificent. What we learned about spices here was very informative and interesting. We were able to marvel at the owner's ancient mud house and gained a fantastic insight into the beautiful natural surroundings. The thali, prepared with local ingredients, was delicious. The shop is also magnificent. For little money, you can get exclusive, high-quality products here: spices, honey, chocolate, and coffee varieties we had never seen before. We went to Tanshikar Farm House for a Day Package Tour. The farm is spread over 25 acres of land. During our tour, they showed us a variety of spices and trees. Ms. Roshani guided us around the farm and shared detailed information about the plants and their uses. She was very brilliant, knowledgeable, and cheerful. The food was delicious, especially the mackerel fry, which was amazing. We also saw a 200-year-old mud house and honeybee hives. In the end, we purchased some spices and honey from their sales counter. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience

We had planned a tour to this most talked Spice Plantation of South Goa near Netravali Wild life area. There is an important advice to whomsoever planning to visit this area is to Download the Offline Maps properly in advance because there is no network coverage available here, though they provide the Free WiFi service at their spice plantation area. We were greeted by Mrs. Tanshikar and were welcomed with warn Green Tea. After which our tour got started. Mrs. Tanshikar explained us every plant in detail according to us Language which was Marathi. Due to which our kids also related to the explanation and understood every aspects about this plantation. The have many plants and spices which they grow here and the do it by Organic Farming and avoid the use of Harmful Pesticides and fertilizers. We explored plants of Coffee, Coco beans, Vanilla, spices, Nuts, Cloves, cardamom, Elaichi, etc. we also saw their 250 years old House which is built by using Soil and Clay and woods. We also had done some Spices shopping while returning from the farm. They were generous enough for not charging any tickets of our children and enjoying their tour. We were charged 350 per head which we felt were ok, as we got to see so many rare plants which didn't saw earlier anywhere else. So I would recommend others to kindly plan your visit and do call them before visiting to confirm your time slot.

Has the most wonderful afternoon at this farm. The owner gave us a thorough, insightful and intelligent tour of his plantation and 3rd generation family home. Lunch was included and we came away feeling spiritually enlightened, more knowledgable and so glad we learned about the importance of organic farming and permaculture. They lure people in with positive reviews and photos of a different resort, but when we arrived, they shifted us to another property called *Wildernest* without any prior notice. When we questioned them, they gave a vague excuse, claiming they assign resorts based on "availability." Since we reached late at night, we had no choice but to stay. The resort we were sent to was poorly maintained, none of the promised activities were available, and the worst part — they served the *same food* for all three days! If you value your time and money, do not book this resort. It completely ruined our vacation experience.

This resort is very good for families and couples. It is also good for students to enjoy your holidays. They provides good service and they have great hospitality service. We have enjoyed a lot in the resort. I had recently visited with my family of 12. Great service and rooms was clean and hygienic. They served hot 3 meals with veg and non veg food it was so tasty and yummy. Staff were friendly and polite. The adventure activities was good. Don't miss river rafting it's one of the most famous adventure activities in dandeli. It's was good and thrilling. We loved it. Highly recommended to visit a wonderful place. Thank you🙏

I had visiting in the resort for 2 days with my family. Resort was beautiful and amazing. It was located in the jungle and Surrounded by beautiful lush greenery and nature orintied. The cottage were clean and well Mentained. Food: They have buffet system with unlimited veg and non veg food. The quality of food is too good and tasty 😋. They served time to time hot food and service was too good. Staff's: The staff were friendly and helpful. Every staff went out if the way to make every guest feel comfortable. Mainly santosh sir helped a lot he arranged everything we need. His efforts made our visit even more memorable. Activities: There a lot of activities like archery, dartboard, caroom rain dance campfire and also they have a pool and baby pool also our children enjoyed all day in the pool. They will give 3 water sports activities in the package like kayaking, boating and zorbing it was good and thrilling we enjoyed a lot in the river. If u visit dandeli u must do water sports activities it was thrilling and wonderful ✨😍. Jungle Safari: they have jungle trekking option by walk in the morning only. And they will guide govt. Jungle zeep safari also it's cost 650/- pp. Sight seeing: near by sight seeing places like Disney park, crocodile park and moulangi eco park. Ambiance: if u are searching a resort in dandeli. I will truly say it is one of the best jungle resort in dandeli. highly recommended to visit everyone to visit this wonderful place.

Good place to spend some decent time with family. There is a place for kids to play also to excercise there are few equipments have been kept. Seperate section for girls and boys. There is a electrical vehicle facility available at just 20/- per person including up and down. There is a canteen with limited items. Taste wise it's good.

Unkal Lake Hubli: Perfect for Picnics & Peaceful Walks! Unkal Lake is a popular and well-maintained spot in Hubli, ideal for picnics, walks, and quality family time. The lake is large, complemented by a clean garden, playground, and walking pavements right at the entrance. Entry is a nominal ₹10 per person, and car parking is conveniently available in front. While the lake itself is well-maintained with regular de-weeding and attractive new fountains with lights, it's disheartening to see visitors still scattering garbage and plastic, despite efforts to keep it litter-free. A great place to relax, if visitors contribute to its cleanliness.

A great place to spend time with family and friends! The Unkal Lake and garder is the place where you can find real peace and happiness. The place is totally covered with greenery and we can see many view points there so that we can enjoy the lake view from there and can feel the atmosphere. The lake and garden is really wonderful but I suggest to maintain the Unkal Lake more as the water seems to be polluted, and also request each and everyone (including me) to maintain the place and follow the rules so that the lake and garden look better and it's our own responsibility to maintain our area and surroundings clean including public parks, gardens and more. My overall experience was pretty good and I really enjoyed a lot. Most recommended garden to visit for the one who are new to Hubballi, and i recommend those too who haven't visited this place. There are even many more kids playable area so that kids can enjoy and have fun. Best walking trails are available for morning and evening walks and you'll really enjoy it. Huge Parking facility is also available vehicle parking. Great place for walkers and jogger’s . We could only make 1/4th round of the entire lake . According to the security of the lake the entire periphery of the lake is about 6.5 kms . The lake closes at 07:00 pm . If you are planning to cover the entire round then have ample time before you take the full circle. The lake is just next to Hotel naveen . The pavement have been well laid . There are lights out along the track so that the move may be smooth . There is a sun set view point at the enterance at a heightened location . There is an eatery/restaurant at the entrance where you can grab snack before you set out for walking . Entrance fee is 10/- and parking fee is also 10/- . If you are in Hubballi and not sure where to go in the evening then this is a good place to explore .

I am a resident of Jaipur and have been visiting lake for long walks ever since childhood. I have seen people from all walks of life come to lake for morning and evening walks. I like to walk the talk here with friends and family. The environment of the lake is very conducive for deep introspection. Watching the sunrise or sunset gives me an exhilarating experience and makes me feel one with God and Nature. Of late you can see the water shimmering like silver if you go around 5:30 or 6:00 pm and makes the whole area look so calm and serene and beautiful. At the other end of the lake there is now a Buddha Park with a very beautiful calm and serene statue of Lord Buddha in sitting pose. At the entrance you will find the lake club, restaurant, lots of vendors selling eatables, and a big play zone for kids where you can enjoy with kids. Also, there are ducks in the lake which you can feed or go for a boat ride. There are plenty of things to do here. It has become an activity centre for people. All in all an enjoyable experience.

We travelled on 11th Oct 2025. Jeep safari had just opened a day before after the monsoon break. It's recommended to start the journey early we started at 8 am . It is a one hour journey by jeep to the waterfall. You will be given 90 minutes at the waterfall. Additional time can be spent at additional charges. It is the best time to visit as waterfall is in full flow post monsoon. Jeep can accomodate 7 pax . 600 rs per person or 4200 per jeep. Forest check point charge 250 which includes life jacket charges. Pls do not litter this beautiful natural paradise.

A must visit place for people seeking some adventure. You have to reach Kolem by your convenience. Then you’ll have to book local jeep that will take you near the waterfall which would take around 45min. Then there’s 5-10 minutes of hiking and you’ll see the beauty of nature. That’ll cost around Rs 850/- including the forest charges which is 250 Rs. You’ll also get a life jacket that’s included in 850 Rs. You’ll also can also swim in the waterfall.

Good place for adventurous trip. You have option to go for hiking treking and jeep tour. It takes 45mins to go by jeep from the forest gate. Some places you cross the streams and full bumpy road for 45mins. You will be given 90 minutes to enjoy at the water falls. These jeep drivers charge waiting charges if you cross 90 mins. Avoid if elders with back pain. Also the water fall area doesn't have proper fencing support railing or any proper means to stand. Plenty of changing rooms but not maintained properly. You have a life guard near the water falls. Rocks are very skidy and be cautious.

Heavy Queue up to 3-4 hours for buying ticket, after ticket buy seat in their bolero around 45 min then you reach dudhsagar waterfall parking area… after that 10 min walking for dudhsagar waterfall, after seeing you feeling just wow… awesome location.. but time taken.

Writing down so that anyone who wants to go can have an easy trip. Things to note: You cannot take your personal vehicle after the ticket booking point in Kullem. No shops inside, so take your water bottles with you. The road is very very rocky. Anyone with back problems is adviced not to go. You will need to pay a maintanence fee, its about 220 per person. Carry cash, they do not accept any digital payments. Theres 3 ways to reach the actual falls. The first 2 options are a trek. You can trek from Kullem or Castle Rock. The trek from Castle Rock is almost a whole days worth trek and you will need a guide. The one from Kullem is about half a days worth. The roads to reach there are also very muddy mostly because of jeeps that keep crossing the road. I personally would not recommend the trek because it's not very scenic, the roads are bad to non existent and is dangerous in general, especially from Castle Rock. And you can't take a jeep back from there either because jeeps already have their passengers pre-booked from the ticket point. The only advantage of the trek is that you can stay at the falls as long as you want. The third way is to book a jeep. Best way imo. They run non stop from the ticket point. It's 500 person(on top the maintanence fee). They'll drop you at the final leg, from there you have to trek for 10mins. A very simple trek. You get 1.5 hours at the falls. Enough to see whatever the falls has to offer.

It’s an easy to moderate trek for around 11.5 kms one way…the view is not much what we expected but was okish. The guide will force you to take the train track route but please make sure you take the forest route for better view and experience.

There are Two ways to Explore the Mighty Falls, one in by Trek and other is Jeep safari which is 4200 per jeep (Rs.700/- per Head) if you are less then 7 you can share with others. By Trek is very difficult for Inexperience, its took 3 hours up and 3 hours down total of 6 Hours Walk. Forest Entry Ticket is Rs.250/- per person. Jeep Travel time is 45 Min up and 45 min Down. They Gave you 1.30 Hours for bath in Falls if waterflow is low. The 1.30 hours time is not enough for everyone because we cant get out of the falls due to its carry such joy and wild experience, they gave you life jackets so don't worry about if you not know to swim. Overall I highly recommend everyone must visit this Falls once you are in GOA. Timing 9.0 am to 3.0 pm. Checkpost is walkable from Kulem Railway Station, which is 30 min from Madgoan Junction.

This temple is located inside military campus… Small and nice Mahadev temple surrounded with greenery… there is a children’s park and a small zoo where one can find animals like deer, rabbits, tortoise etc… no charges… small kids really enjoy this place… toilets are also available in the premises… There is a big Shivaji statue… park is still being developed…

Military Mahadeva Temple is One of the city's oldest temples, this Shiva shrine is managed by the Indian Army and was inaugurated in 1955. The temple is open on all days from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. It has relaxing and peaceful settings makes the place worth a visit !!!

It's a beautiful temple. Well maintained. There is a garden inside the temple premises , and small rides are available too kids along with jumping castle , swing and sliders . Kids will enjoy as there is a small zoo kinda attached to temple compound where one can spot few deers , swans, turtles. Overall it's a good place for people of all ages. There is parking space for 2 and 4 wheeler and it's absolutely free .

Best place to go for a relaxed walk, quality time with family, kids love it. This was the must go destination for me as a child. Loved watching deer, rabbits, peacocks, emu. The temple was a must visit place. Going to the Krishna fountain to spot tortoises was the next best activity. It was very hard to get a chance to sit on the swings. I always preferred the slide.

Amazing place. The falls apparently will look better during rains. Other attractions include a Hoysala styled temple and the British era Gokak mills next to the falls.

Dajipur is very nice place for jungle safari. You can see गवा (big bull), the huge animal. Scenic beauty, stay in tents is lovely n wonderful experience. You can see many other wild animals, birds etc in this wildlife sanctuary.

Its more of nature trail than safari. You should plan to visit around morning time so that some of the animals could be seen. Don't go in afternoon you will hardly see any annimal. Its close during monsoon so don't plan visit during this time.

A dense forest reserved for bisons. This place opens at 6 am in the morning. The best time to start the safari is 6 am to 10 am as animals come to drink water so we can see them easily. There are shekarus in the forest which is state animal of maharashtra. We went in may still there were lush green trees. We took a jeep for 10 people which costed us ₹2000 and each persons ticket was ₹ 50 Must visit once. This forest is well resereved. There are towers on the main site points which are good photogenic and view from there is amazing. The guids are nice. they try their best so that we can see the animals. Even if we dont see any animal the road journey in the jungle is worth it. It is a 4 to 5 hrs journy so bring your own water bottle, caps, goggles, some snacks etc.

You cannot understand and enjoy this magnificent temple without a proper guide. Our guide Mr.Appu created that aura of the temple with his beautiful narration. Though it's a small temple..I would say one day is also very less to study n observe beauty of each pillars and stories of the each beautifully carved art. Only shocking observation is why Govt or Archeology society is not taking care and beautifying. These are just one of few left over beautiful art pieces by our ancestors , if we don't preserve this for our future generations..it will also go very soon. We need to give importance to glorify our History, keeping politics away. We traveled from Chikkodi to Narasobawadi and found it convenient using KSRTC buses. The journey took about an hour by public transport. We visited on a Thursday and were able to have darshan within 10–15 minutes, which was great. A delicious lunch was served at 12:30 PM

The facilities were top-notch, with a play area for kids, plenty of dining options, and ample parking. I loved browsing the stalls selling devotional items, souvenirs, and local treats like pedha and Basundi. The area's infrastructure is well-developed, with plenty of accommodation options and budget-friendly eats.
