The Koshi River, also called the Sapta Koshi for its seven major tributaries. This is one of the largest rivers in Nepal, originating in the Himalayas, it flows southward, cutting through the Mahabharat Range and the Churia Hills before entering the Terai plains. The Koshi is significant for its immense water volume and its role in irrigation, hydropower generation, and supporting diverse ecosystems, including the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve. However, its volatile nature, particularly during monsoon seasons, has earned it the moniker "Sorrow of Bihar" in India due to frequent devastating floods.

I traveled by bike to the Koshi River, and it was an incredible experience. The journey was thrilling, with scenic landscapes, fresh air, and the excitement of the open road. Riding alongside the river, I felt a deep sense of peace as I took in the vast expanse of water and the surrounding natural beauty. Watching the sunset over the river made the trip even more memorable, making it a truly refreshing and unforgettable adventure.

The Kosi River near Mathura is a peaceful and scenic spot that offers a refreshing break from the hustle of city life. Surrounded by natural beauty and a calm atmosphere, it's a perfect place to relax, take a quiet walk, or simply sit and enjoy the flowing water. I visited during the early morning hours, and the experience was magical – the soft sounds of the river, cool breeze, and the golden sunrise reflecting off the water created a serene setting that felt almost spiritual. It's also a nice stop for those traveling between Delhi and Agra. If you're into photography or nature, you’ll appreciate the picturesque views, especially during the monsoon when the river is fuller and the surroundings are lush and green. While it's not a major tourist destination, that’s part of its charm – it remains relatively untouched and peaceful. Just make sure to keep the place clean and respect the natural environment. Highly recommend for a short visit if you're passing through the area or exploring the Mathura region.

Binsar zero point

Nature & Parks
Mountains
Pure nature in its full bloom among thick oak forest. Pin drop silence with gentle breeze and birds chirping in the background. A small hike of short trail of about 2 kms from Tourist Rest House, Binsar leads to the zero point. Beauty of nature on the way is pure bliss. Small benches on regular interval invite you for a small break. View of the valley downward awestruck you. It's reminds you of the nature that was pure and pristine few decades back.
Last P — Google review
Binsar Zero Point is the highest point of the Binsar Wildlife, from where one can savour a 360-degree view of the Himalayan beauties namely Kedarnath, Shivling, Trishul and the group of Nanda Devi peaks. Entire trail is beautiful, many birds can see from there. 2 km trail gives you serenity. If you stay in Binsar, must do this trail at morning.
SAIKAT M — Google review
A beautiful point giving a valley view along with mountains all around. If it’s cloudy you will literally feel like walking on the clouds and see them below your eyeline. Majestic place to say the least !
Sahil C — Google review
Binsar is a beautiful area about 30km from Almora with an average height of 2412 metres. It is made of a series of ridges and gorges. Binsar used to be summer capital of Chand kings. It was later on established as a sanctuary for the conservation and protection of Oak forests. It has over 200 species of bird. However, when we visited Binsar in February last year, we did not have much luck with seeing these birds, possibly because in winters they had migrated elsewhere.
Vijay J — Google review
Ticket price - 250 per car. 200 per person. The fees goes to the forest department while the road is maintained by pwd. As on December 2024, the 10km road to the trek start point is in horrible condition and sedans and low ground clearance vehicles should avoid it. There are half foot craters with mud and I saw cars with broken bumpers. 200mm ground clearance is recommended minimum. The trek itself took around 20 mins one way and it easy . Carry water as there is no water source on the way. The view from here on a clear day is amazing with all peaks visible.
Soikat P — Google review
Beautiful trek to the breathtaking view. Jungle feels too quiet even after so many calls from the birds. Trek is 2 kms but easy level. Must visit place.
Gaurav M — Google review
Avoid visiting this place or taking hotel at the top of zero point. The road are such pathetic you will end up telling why did we choose this place. Bikers who love off-roading will definitely love this place but make sure you have a good riding skills. They have ticket of rupees 200per head and Rs250 of car. And there is nothing much at Zero point. The road to zero point is definitely not to travel after 3PM(much recommended) because travelling during dark is very very risky with no light no fencing at the sides and no proper roads might put life in danger.
Tanay C — Google review
Absolutely over rated. It's a good hike and view but you can get it anywhere in and around Binsar. No need to make an effort to do this trail. If you are there it's okay to trek but then there are so many trails everywhere. In fact staying inside the forest is also not necessary. The views are better from Dinapani or Kasardevi.

PWD Inspection House

Road construction company
Sights & Landmarks
Architectural Buildings
Nestled in the picturesque Mukteshwar, the PWD Inspection House is a heritage gem that offers an enchanting stay steeped in history. Once frequented by the legendary Jim Corbett during his quest to hunt a notorious man-eater back in 1929, this charming bungalow has been transformed into a delightful guest house managed by KMVN.
This heritage property has been taken over by KMVN few years back, so now any body can book it. Legendary Jim Corbett stayed here when he came to kill the man-eater of Uttarakhand. That was 1929, almost 100 years back. This makes the stay in the PWD GH more exciting. Mukteshwar has its own beauty. But this guest house is even more beautiful. It feels heavenly. Very close to Delhi, about 8 hours drive including break for food etc. Due to this reason it remains booked for the entire year. Avoid holiday seasons and weekends when there is extra rush. Now let's talk about the property and beauty of nature. It's a very old building made from wood. With old styled wooden sloping roof, extended box glass window, full wooden walls you have modern day beds, toilet, furniture. You will feel very relaxed and comfortable. Glass window gives a near 180 degree view of the himalayan ice caps. There is a lawn in front of the guest house which offers unobstructed view of the snow clad mountains. We stayed there for 3 nights and didn't do any sight seeing. All that we went there for was in front of us. You will never get bored of looking at the snow clad mountain range. Food is good. Staff is helpful. KMVN tourist lodge is located across the road. It's a modern day building but does not offer same view. However, the kitchen and dining hall is there. So you have to walk about 100 meters up the slope or about 30 steep steps to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure that you book room no 4 here. It's the best.
Bhaskar B — Google review
Has a beautiful view of the Himalaya. On a clear day you would be able to see a almost a 360 degree view of the valley and range. Very close to the Chauli ki jali and Mukteshwara Dham Temple. Go there check out the view and just relax and soak in the beauty with a cup of warm coffee. I just wish we were there on a day with clear weather.
Jo P — Google review
The area around this place has lot of attraction. The first is mukteshvar mahadev temple. It is at a height of 8200 feet. It's a very old and famous temple and visited by thousands of people. Next to it is chauli ki jaali which has a straight fall of 1000 ft. You can enjoy rope diving here.
Charan B — Google review
Complete with scenic views of the sunrise across the Himalayas, the Mukteshwar Inspection Bungalow near the temple offers accommodation for a serene holiday.
Anshul G — Google review
A small treak from chauli ki jali leads you to pwd inspection house and it’s beautiful since the local people had tried to keep it clean. There is also an public convenience (sulabh restrooms) available (payments to be done ) they water is scarce so most of time no waters in restrooms. Must watch for the seven peaks watch.
Shipra V — Google review
Heritage Hotel with amazing views. The bungalow is old fashioned which was once a heritage site. Now it is run by KMVN as a hotel. The luxury rooms are well kept and the staff is courteous. Breakfast and Dinner are included in room tariff. The food is delicious and home-style. There is a nice lawn/garden. The view is amazing. Mornings are very special very bird chirping and the scenic beauty of sunrise hitting the top of snow bounded mountains. Just grab a cup of tea and enjoy a nature.
Pushp K — Google review
This is a must visit attraction of Mukteshwar which shouldn't be missed . The history of this banglow is directly related to Jim Corbett himself . And one can stay in the property too having prior booking . The Himalayan peaks are very clearly visible from here till Nepal . Such beauty isn't visible from Any point . The height of this place is around 7500 feet . Nanda devi peaks and almora are in straight line of sight . The details of all the visible peaks are also mentioned from the view point which is very educative for young kids .
Jeevan T — Google review
The inspection bungalow is famous for its view of the mountain ranges. It is one of the places to visit for the view of mountain ranges and if you are lucky with the weather (no cloudy day) then you can cherish the amazing view of Trishul, Nanda ghunti, and even panchahuli peaks. So this place has no parking lot as such you have to park your vehicle outside the gate of the bungalow on the road itself. Then you can enter the bungalow and reach towards the open ground with wooden sitting benches and a table. And the viewpoint from where you can click the photographs and cherish the majestic view of peaks. The garden is well maintained and planted with so many beautiful Dahlia and gladiolus flowers. So this place also provides or serves you as a guest house, if you want to stay there you can book rooms from the kmvn website. And if you are not staying here then you can also come to this place just to admire the view with a cup of chai and coffee and pakoras. Yes, they also have a little canteen so they serve as per their menu. We enjoyed our view with chai and pakoras do visit this place and admire the majestic view.

Mukteshwar Dham Temple

Mentioned on

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Mukteshwar Dham Temple is a must-visit iconic place in Mukteshwar, located about 40 km from Nainital. The temple, with its historical significance linked to the Pandavas from the Mahabharata, sits amidst beautiful deodar forests and offers a pleasant climate throughout the year. Visitors can enjoy not only the spiritual experience of the ancient Shiva temple but also breathtaking views after a short climb.
Mukteshwar Dham is a serene and spiritually uplifting destination nestled in the hills of Uttarakhand. It is also one of the Shakti Peeth. Beyond its spiritual importance, the temple also offers panoramic views of the surrounding valleys — a true visual treat. To reach the main shrine, you’ll need to climb a decent number of stairs, but the journey is worth it. During peak times, there are arrangements like scooty or bike rides available for those who prefer not to walk. On regular days, cars can comfortably reach up to the temple’s entrance. Mukteshwar Dham is a must-visit.
Akankcha G — Google review
Peaceful and Divine Experience at Mukteshwar Dham Temple Mukteshwar Dham Temple is a must-visit spiritual spot in Mukteshwar and is considered to be one of the Shaktipeeths, which makes it even more sacred. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple has a strong spiritual aura that instantly fills you with peace and positivity. To reach the temple, you need to climb a series of stairs from the main road, and the short ascent feels refreshing amidst the natural surroundings. Once at the top, the atmosphere is serene and divine. Apart from its religious significance, the temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas – truly mesmerizing and soul-soothing.
Manan A — Google review
Ancient and tranquil temple dedicated to Lord Shiva with stunning Himalayan views. A peaceful spiritual experience reached by a scenic uphill climb. Highly recommended for devotees and nature lovers
Arya N — Google review
“Mukteshwar Dham is one of the most peaceful and divine temples I have ever visited. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple is situated on a hilltop and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. The atmosphere here is calm, spiritual and full of positive energy. The temple is clean, well-maintained and perfect for meditation and prayers. Early morning darshan is especially blissful. A must-visit place in Mukteshwar for devotees as well as nature lovers.”
Ravindra P — Google review
Great holy temple of Lord Shiva. Around 350 yrs old. We need to ascend some 136 steps but the temple and view from top is worth it. Chauli ki jaali too is near by to this place.
Anurag S — Google review
A serene temple with breathtaking views—but be prepared for a bit of a hike! Mukteshwar Dham Temple is truly a peaceful and spiritually uplifting place, perched right at the top of Mukteshwar. The view from up there is absolutely stunning—calm, serene, and perfect for some quiet reflection. The temple itself has a divine energy, and even though it can get a bit crowded, the overall experience is still incredibly soothing. That said, one thing to be aware of is the parking situation. Cops won’t allow you to drive all the way up to avoid traffic jams, so you’ll have to park about 1.5 km before the temple. From there, you have two choices: either enjoy a moderately steep uphill walk or hop on a scooter offered by local riders, which usually costs ₹50–₹100 for the ride to the top. The walk can be a bit of a challenge, especially for elderly people or those not used to walking uphill, so plan accordingly. Despite this small inconvenience, the view and the temple make it absolutely worth the effort.
Butterchicken1410 — Google review
Holi place in Nainital district of Uttarakhand about 57 kilometers drive from Nainital city. Temple of Mukeshwar Mahadev. Excellent view of snow peaks from Mukteshwar. Many luxury hotels are available there. There was apple orchards on the way. Temple is situated at the top of Mukteshwar.
Anindya P — Google review
If possible, AVOID going to the temple on weekends, especially during peak season. The cab-wallahs will not tell you that the cabs will be stopped about 2 kms before the temple, and then you will either have to walk all the way through a nightmarish traffic or hire a two-wheeler to cover that distance. You will end up paying 2500/- to the cab-wallah (from Kasiyalekh) and then either walk 2 kms (one way) to the temple or pay another 200/- to the two-wheeler-wallah (for one person) for riding one way. So, if you are a group of 4, you will have to shell out another 1600/- if you choose to take the two-wheeler ride for all, both ways. The locals exploit the situation, but the administration is not bothered. If you choose to go in a self driven vehicle, be prepared to get mad. If you are only 2 in a group, a better way would be to hire a two-wheeler to the temple from Kasiyalekh instead of going there in a four- wheeler. But, we were told that on weekdays the situation is not so bad. We visited this place on Saturday, 21 June 2025. I tried to find some peace, serenity, and calmness at the temple but failed miserably. The covered concrete steps to the temple are a recent construction (although it has definitely ruined the beauty of the natural surroundings of the temple). Before, it used to be a hike to the temple through the jungle around.

Chauli Ki Jali is a popular hiking spot and scenic overlook located high atop a cliff with a sheer drop and a historic temple, Mukteshwar. It offers picturesque views of the mountains and the Kumaon Valley. Visitors can walk along the rocky path next to the temple to reach a cluster of cliffs where they can spend time observing Himalayan eagles, trying adventure sports like zip-lining, rock-climbing, and rappelling.

Breathtaking Views at Chauli ki Jali, Mukteshwar! Chauli ki Jali is one of the most stunning viewpoints in Mukteshwar. Perched on a cliffside near the Mukteshwar Temple, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and deep valleys below. The experience of standing at the edge and watching the vast landscapes is absolutely thrilling and unforgettable. The place is also known for its mythological and historical significance, which adds to its charm. It’s a great spot for nature lovers, photographers, and adventure seekers, and the unique rock formations make it even more fascinating. Whether you go for the mesmerizing sunrise/sunset views or just to soak in the natural beauty, Chauli ki Jali is a place you simply cannot miss while visiting Mukteshwar.
Manan A — Google review
Chauli Ki Jali, located behind the Mukteshwar Temple in Uttarakhand, is one of the most beautiful and adventurous viewpoints in the region. Perched at an altitude of about 2,500 meters, it offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan ranges and the deep valleys below. The site is famous for its naturally formed rock wall with holes (“Jali” means net or lattice), which adds a unique charm to the spot. According to local legends, Goddess Kali fought a demon here, and the marks on the rocks are believed to be from that battle. It’s also a popular destination for adventure lovers who enjoy rock climbing and rappelling. The combination of spiritual significance, natural beauty, and thrilling experiences makes Chauli Ki Jali a must-visit spot in Mukteshwar.

Rahul V — Google review
If you already went to places like waichin valley, Tosh, munsyari, ladakh etc. this one may not impress you. However, sunset from the cliff is impressive and now the zipline is also added (fare 500 pp). Walking distance (5 minutes) from Mukteshwar mahadev mandir.
Ashish K — Google review
This place is situated just beside the Mukteshwar Dham Temple. There is walkway just beside the entry of the temple that leads you to this place. On the entry to the walkway, you have small open shops and eateries where you can munch on Samosa, Kachori, Fruit Chat, Rajma Chawal, Dal Chawal and much more. You need to walk around 500 mts before you reach this place and once you reach there are more eateries. There are even two ziplines if you are someone who loves thrill. The place is now heavily commercialized and that's my first complain with this scenic place. Chauli ki Jhali is essentially a mountain cliff which gives you breath-taking views of Himalayas and there is no wonder this place is so popular but due to heavy commercialization the place is very dirty and too crowded. You can spend good 15-20 mins here taking back the mesmerizing views the place has to offer. Also dno't forget to click some pics on the first cliff just when you enter the area. That spot is a good one. Totally recommened and more so in off season.

Jhula Devi Temple, situated in the Kumaon Himalayan range in Uttrakhand, is a sacred 8th-century temple dedicated to Goddess Durga. The temple is famous for its numerous hanging bells and is believed to fulfill wishes of the devotees. According to legend, it was built to protect locals from wild animal attacks. The area around the temple also offers a variety of vegetarian dishes and is known for its apple orchards at Chaubatia Gardens.
Very nice place, situated in the hills of Ranikhet nearby military area. Photography is generally prohibited outside the temple but no restrictions within the temple. Good to see an uncountable number of locks hanging around the temple(as a result of people getting their wishes fulfilled) ❤️

Another must visit temple for any devout hindu visiting Ranikhet & it has a huge reverence. Visit, seek a manokamna & upon realisation of your wish revisit and tie a temple bell on the temple premises. It's very nice!!
Aditya S — Google review
The architecture isn't spectacular, but it's antiquity dates back 700 years according to local lore. The current structure, of course, is more recent in origin and dates to the last century. It's quaintness lies in its thousands of bells, big and small, along the walls of the temples and inside, donated by grateful worshippers. People come here to get their new vehicles blessed!

The experience was wonderful! The place has an incredible sense of peace and tranquility. Although this temple is often associated with Ranikhet, it’s actually located quite far from there — in a serene, isolated spot right beside the Army Jat Regiment check post. Just 3–4 km from the temple, you can also explore a beautiful garden in choubatia, which is said to be the second largest of its kind in Asia.

While the architecture of Jhula Devi Temple may not be grand or ornate, its antiquity and spiritual significance make it one of Ranikhet’s most cherished landmarks. According to local lore, the temple’s origins date back nearly 700 years, though the current structure was built in the last century. What truly makes this temple special are the thousands of brass bells — big and small — adorning its walls and ceilings. Each bell has been offered by a devotee in gratitude, symbolizing wishes fulfilled and prayers answered. The gentle sound of the bells swaying in the mountain breeze gives the temple a truly divine and peaceful aura. 🔔🌿 It’s a tradition among locals and travelers to visit the temple to seek blessings for new vehicles, symbolizing safety and good fortune. The energy here feels both sacred and timeless — a blend of faith, history, and the mountain spirit of Kumaon. If you’re in Ranikhet, Jhula Devi Temple is not just a place to visit — it’s a place to feel. 🙏

A distance of 7 km from Ranikhet, near Chaubatia, amidst stunning natural setting, one can easily spot Jhula Devi Temple, an 8th Century ancient Hindu Shrine dedicated to Jhula Devi... another form of Devi Durga. As the idol of Ma Durga ( presiding deity) is sitting on a Jhula, this temple is famous as Jhula Devi Temple. Every year, thousand of devotees offered their prayers to Jhula Devi. People believed this temple as wishfulfilling temple. One someone's wish being fulfilled, he offered small bells to Jhula Devi...so there is thousands of bells. A peaceful experience awaits anyone who wishes to visit Baba Haidakhan Temple in Ranikhet. It's quaint, clean and generally not busy. Huge campus which is well laid out and has beautiful statues of Bhagwan Shi Hanuman & Nandi. On a clear day you would be delighted with the views of the snow peaks from there. It's the trishul peaks of Nanda Parbat. There's also charitable shop on premises which has a good selection of kurtas & brass items. Pricing is decent.

Nestled on the SherKaDandahill hilltop in Nainital City, Uttarakhand, G B Pant High Altitude Zoo is a 4.592-hectare zoo that sits at an elevation of about 2100 meters. Established in 1980 and opened to the public in 1995, this zoo is managed by Bharat Ratna G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo Management Society.
G B Pant High Altitude Zoo is an absolute must-visit and genuinely worth the entry fee! This beautifully maintained zoo offers a fantastic experience. The main attractions definitely delivered, especially getting to see the magnificent Royal Bengal Tiger and those incredibly cute Red Pandas up close. They also have an impressive array of Leopards, along with several species of Himalayan goats and sheep, like the striking Blue Sheep. While not huge, its mountain setting means sloped paths, which adds to the unique high-altitude feel, though elderly visitors might find it a bit challenging. I spent a relaxed 2-3 hours exploring everything thoroughly. A fantastic day out!

Well maintained zoo , if coming by foot be prepared for the good work out for legs. Tough for elderly people and heavy person. Very steep climb take car. Once you reach you have nice view of lake.

Zoo is located on a peak accessible only through shuttles operating infront of India hotel on mall road. There's lot of walking and steep accent there no caddy available, therefore I would suggest avoiding aged people OT people who are not comfortable with heavy cardio. Overall zoo have decent number of species and animals are quite active.
Nishant B — Google review
Frankly, the zoo is nice, if you like climbing hills. I found it strenuous. You have to walk uphill quite a lot to reach the tickets counter and then inside the zoo more climbing. I enjoyed watching the tigers, leopards and red pandas and some mountain goats and deers. But many of the cages were empty. Sometimes only after a steep climb to an enclosure you realise that there is nothing there. Still I liked what I saw though I was really tired with all that climbing up.

Pt. G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo, Nainital – A Unique Hillside Experience The Nainital Zoo is located on a scenic hilltop, accessible only via shuttle services operating in front of Hotel India on Mall Road. 🚐 The route is quite steep, and there’s a fair bit of walking involved — so it may not be suitable for elderly visitors or anyone uncomfortable with heavy uphill walks (no caddies or private vehicles allowed). Once you reach the top, you’ll find a well-maintained zoo with a decent variety of animals and birds — from Himalayan bears and leopards to barking deer and colorful pheasants. The enclosures are clean, and most animals appear active and healthy. 🦌🐆 The fresh mountain air and peaceful surroundings make the visit enjoyable and educational, especially for families and children. Just remember to wear comfortable shoes and carry water for the climb!

A great place to connect with nature and unwind. Highly recommended! 😊 What to Expect: - A variety of animals, including Bengal tigers, leopards, red pandas, Himalayan black bears, and several bird species Tips and Reviews: - Be prepared for a steep climb to reach the zoo - Wear comfortable walking shoes, as there's a lot of walking involved. - You can encounter with Langoors on the way from the cab dropping point to the ticket counter. Ticket Price - INR 150 / person Route - Cab is available from the Church area at the Mall road. Cab cost - INR 70/ person. Cafeteria: Available inside the Zoo
Travel D — Google review
The Nainital Zoo is located at a very high point. From Mall Road, you can take a cab service that charges ₹70 per person and drops you near the entry area. After that, you still have to walk quite a bit uphill to reach the ticket counter, where the ticket price is ₹150 per person. Once you enter the zoo, you first get to see some beautiful birds, followed by the Bengal tiger and many other animals. Since the zoo is situated at a high altitude, you have to keep walking uphill inside as well. If you have elderly people with you, it’s better not to take them along due to the steep climb. Apart from that, the zoo is surrounded by nature and the peaceful environment really wins your heart.

SATYAPRAKASH S — Google review
Naini Lake, the heart and soul of Nainital, is a breathtaking natural freshwater body nestled amidst seven lush hills in the Kumaon Himalayas. Its distinctive mango or crescent shape and tranquil, shimmering waters immediately capture the visitor’s eye, making it the focal point of this popular hill station. The Scenic Splendour and Ambiance The sheer beauty of the lake is undeniable. Surrounded by the colonial-era architecture of Mallital (north side) and Tallital (south side), the panorama is stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset. . The hills—capped with pine, deodar, and oak trees—provide a majestic backdrop, creating a cool, peaceful atmosphere that is a much-needed escape from city life. Walking along the Mall Road promenade that runs parallel to the lake is a favored activity, allowing tourists to soak in the beauty and the bustling yet relaxed town culture. Tourist Experience and Activities The main draw of Naini Lake is, without a doubt, boating. Visitors have the choice of various watercraft: Row Boats: Typically charged for a half-round or full-round, these are popular for a relaxed ride, as a boatman rows for you. A half-round usually costs around ₹160 and a full round ₹210 (prices are approximate and can vary). Paddle Boats: Ideal for couples or those who enjoy a bit of light exercise, charges are generally around ₹210 per hour. Boating hours are typically from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the early morning and late evening offering the most photogenic light and serene experience. Beyond boating, the lake acts as a hub for other attractions, including the nearby Naina Devi Temple, one of the 51 Shakti Peeths, lending the area a profound religious and historical significance. A cable car ride near the lake offers a panoramic bird's-eye view of the emerald-green waters and the surrounding peaks. Mythology and Historical Context The lake’s mystique is deepened by its mythological roots. It is believed to be the site where the eye ( Nain ) of Goddess Sati fell after her immolation, giving the lake its name (Naini-tal, or 'lake of the eye'). This legend solidifies the area's sanctity. Historically, the town was 'discovered' by the British in 1841 by P. Barron, who was so taken by the spot that he established a European colony here, turning it into the summer seat of the North-Western Provinces, adding a distinct colonial charm to the lakefront. The Downside While breathtaking, the lake's overwhelming popularity means the area, especially Mall Road, can get severely crowded during peak tourist season and holidays. This can detract from the intended 'peaceful' experience. Furthermore, like many heavily visited sites, concerns about cleanliness and water quality are sometimes raised, highlighting the need for stricter environmental protection and maintenance to preserve its natural beauty. In conclusion, Naini Lake is an essential destination that fully lives up to its reputation as a stunning Himalayan lake resort. Its blend of scenic beauty, engaging activities, and deep-rooted mythology makes it an unforgettable experience, provided visitors are prepared to navigate the crowds during high season.

Nestled near Nainital Lake, the Shree Maa Naina Devi Temple is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi and is known for its colorful shrines and associated mythological stories. Visitors can also enjoy a cable car ride to Snow View observation point for stunning vistas of the town and surrounding mountains, including Nanda Devi, the highest peak in Uttarakhand.
🛕 Naina Devi Temple, Nainital – A Divine Presence Beyond Words I recently visited Naina Devi Temple in Nainital, and I can confidently say—this is not just a temple, it's a powerful spiritual experience that stays with you long after you leave. Right from the moment you step through the entrance arch, there’s something in the air—peace, divinity, and a sense of stillness that instantly calms your heart. The temple is located at the northern end of Naini Lake, and as you climb the short steps, you’re greeted by bells, incense, and the soft chants that echo around the space. Honestly, I didn’t take any photos or videos—not because I forgot, but because I couldn’t. Sometimes, there are places where your phone automatically takes a backseat. I felt so connected and in the moment that capturing it digitally didn’t even cross my mind. You have to go and feel it yourself. Important Note (Real Info Alert!) Don't trust Google Maps for the timings—it’s outdated or just plain wrong. 🕔 The temple opens at 5:00 AM with the morning aarti 🕖 Closes by 7:00 PM sharp — after which the main gates are closed, and no one is allowed in. I saw many people disappointed who came relying on online timings. So, plan accordingly. Inside, the temple is simple yet soul-touching. The main deity, Goddess Naina Devi, is beautifully adorned, and the energy inside the sanctum is intense. There’s also a Hanumanji and Ganeshji murti beside, with hundreds of bells tied by devotees. Offerings like prasad and flowers are available just outside, and the pandas (priests) are polite—not pushy. Other Info: The view of the Naini Lake from the temple compound is stunning—especially around sunset. It gets a bit crowded on weekends and during aarti hours. Shoes must be left outside (there's a counter). Prasad is simple, fresh, and blessed (I took some home for family). Final Words: If you’re in Nainital, don’t miss this temple. Not for the photos, not for sightseeing, but for the calm, the blessings, and the rare feeling of stillness it gives you. Naina Devi isn’t just a place, she’s a presence.

Naina Devi Temple is a quiet and peaceful place with great mythological significance for Hindus. The temple management is very good, polite, and well-organized. We visited during the Nanda Devi festival, when the entire area was filled with vibrant energy and a lively fair (mela) was organized as part of the celebrations. During festivals, the temple timings are extended till 10 pm, allowing devotees more time for darshan. The place is well maintained but the people here are so misogynistic. Even the local people outside University while passing through the university road eve tease female students, click pictures of them and even ogle at them. The authority only restricts the movement of girls and judge the girl victims whenever any case of eve teasing or harassment comes up. You can't expect justice here at the very least but if u just want to enjoy the nature, you come definitely visit. The professors are good too.

Corbett Falls is a picturesque waterfall located in a forested area, easily accessible by both car and foot. While Corbett National Park is known for its natural beauty and wildlife, the park offers various activities beyond safaris and nature experiences. Visitors can enjoy mountain biking, photography, yoga, and naturopathy treatments. The highlight of the park includes a visit to Corbett Falls and the Kosi River behind VANYA RESORT in Jim Corbett due to their stunning beauty.
You pay entry fee and car parking fee and have fun.It has waterfall, small streams, swimming pool and scenic beauty. Also you get to have adventures like aircycling and others.Worth the visit.

Decent waterfalls, near Corbett Museum. At the entry, there's a ticket counter, post which you can take your car inside the forest. There's a short hike post the parking, which although short, has a bunch of stairs, elders, be advised. The steps, carved of stone, are infused with algae and chances of slipping are prevalent. The place is really beautiful in monsoon. Throughout the hike they also have some adventure activities like sky cycling, ziplining etc, which were closed however citing rain (there wasn't any). I suppose it's up to their mood to close / open. There's also a small cafe and souvenir shop near the parking area, although there are very limited options.

I recently visited Corbett Falls, and it was a delightful experience! The ticket charge is 100 rupees per person, but it's free for kids, which is a nice bonus for families. The location is very convenient, situated on the road near the Girja Devi Temple, making it easy to access. There's ample parking space available, and you can drive your car up to 200 meters from the waterfall, which is quite convenient. The falls themselves are beautiful, surrounded by lush greenery and offering a peaceful atmosphere. The trek to the waterfall involves crossing a small wooden bridge, which adds to the charm of the experience. Along the way, you can spot small fishes in the clear waters, making it a fun adventure for kids. Speaking of kids, this spot is perfect for families! There is a kids' zone where children can play, and even some fun activities like sky cycling. The entire area is well-maintained and clean, making it a great place for kids to enjoy nature in a safe environment. The sound of the waterfall and the natural beauty of the surroundings make it an ideal spot for relaxation and photography. Overall, Corbett Falls is a fantastic destination for families, nature lovers, and those looking to enjoy a peaceful day out. The combination of scenic beauty, ease of access, and fun activities for kids makes it a place worth visiting if you're in the area.

1. Little hectic to get parking even though they have parking place. 2. From main entrance to waterfall is quite long so suggest you to go in two/four wheeler rather than walk. 3. Good jungle atmosphere. 4. Plenty of food option available but little costly than normal ( ex - 1 lemonade glass = 60₹ ) 5. Man made marble pool around the waterfall. 6. Thats it go and explore more !
Tushar G — Google review
I am a nature enthusiast. The day i visited was rainy so the place was prettier than it usually would be as the lush green area around the waterfall was humid and was very pleasant. This is the only place you can visit while in Jim Corbett to be closer to nature other than safari.
Prachi K — Google review
This was very good experience. A must visit place while going towards Nainital after Jim Corbett. Entry fee is Rs 50 and Car fees is Rs 100. You have to take your vehicle with you for around a kilometer. The waterfall was great. Zip line and zip-cycling actvity was also there with extra charges. My son enjoyed the zip-line activity very much. A small canteen is also there.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Girija Devi Temple is a quaint and serene temple located on a hilltop overlooking the Kosi River. Accessible by a pedestrian river footbridge, it sits amidst scenic forested surroundings, offering a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Despite its small size, the temple's serene ambiance and decked up idol of Devi make it a compelling destination for visitors.
This temple is available in a beautiful location near Dhikuli. It is a riversideview where you can enjoy swimming as well, being careful with children. Established 8-10 km from Ramnagar town, this temple is quite old and famous. You need to climb around 50-60 stairs to go there. After that you can enjoy the riverside view and click some really wonderful pictures. 4 KM away there is the Dhangarhi museum, which is a bonus for kids. Both places are must visit if you are going to Ramnagar or Jim Corbett National Park.

Garjiya Devi Temple in Ramnagar is truly a hidden gem! The location is absolutely beautiful, and being right by the riverside adds a serene charm to the whole experience. It’s not just a spiritual place but also an awesome spot for a picnic with family and friends. However, one concern I had was the littering around the river. It takes away from the natural beauty and peaceful vibe of the area. I really hope visitors become more responsible, and some proper dustbins and awareness signs are put up. Also, having toilets easily accessible below the bridge would be a great help. It would ensure cleanliness in the temple premises and make the overall experience even better. Highly recommend visiting, but let’s all do our part to keep this place clean and beautiful!
Sunita R — Google review
This is a beautiful temple located by the riverside, surrounded by a serene and scenic environment. The location is excellent, and you can even take a bath or play in the river. To reach the Devi, you’ll need to climb some steep steps, but it’s truly worth it. An excellent place to visit, though weekends can get crowded.”
Sai R — Google review
A truly memorable moment at one of the best temples—beginning with divine darshan and receiving the sacred prashad. After offering prayers, sitting peacefully by the riverside brings unmatched calm. The crystal-clear water flows gently, so pure you can even drink it. A perfect blend of devotion and serenity.

Beautiful temple located near the riverside with amazing views all around. There are a couple of steep stairs to reach the temple and it can get crowded during the weekends.

I have visited this place during my visit to Ramnagar. I have not visited the temple inside so can't comment on it but it has big lines to go inside the temple. Beside that there is a beautiful river which is must visit place. There you can take bath in water and devour with Maggie and basic food which is really a good place for hangout with friends and family.
Apeksha D — Google review
Visiting the Girija Devi Temple🛕 was truly a peaceful and serene experience. Nestled amidst natural beauty, the temple offers a spiritual retreat like no other. Situated on top of a small hillock in the middle of the Kosi River, the temple’s unique location adds to its charm and sacred aura🏔️🏞️ To reach the temple, one must climb a steep staircase, which can be a bit challenging but ultimately rewarding. The panoramic view from the top, coupled with the divine atmosphere, makes the effort worthwhile. Devotees come here to seek the blessings of Devi Girija, and the temple exudes a strong sense of devotion and tranquility🌿🌷 ❗️During peak travel seasons and holidays, expect long queues and a fair amount of waiting. The narrow passage and steep steps can make the ascent difficult, especially for senior citizens or those with mobility issues. It's advisable to avoid the climb if you have any health concerns related to walking or climbing. 💫Overall, the Girija Devi Temple is a must-visit for spiritual seekers and those looking to experience natural beauty along with divinity. Just be prepared for a bit of a climb—and a truly rewarding experience at the top🌟

A decent place to spend some time though not comparable to water parks in Delhi NCR. Ample parking space is available. Children below 39 inches of height can enter free. Entry for adults is @600. You can hire swimming costumes/towels/lockers @100 each. Hardly anyone was there in a proper swimming costume. They have a small cafeteria inside.
Sandeep S — Google review
The place is nice but the pool depth is just around 3ft everywhere. While the kids will love it but as an adult you won't. You will hit the floor if you take the higher slide. Someone was telling me that the 5ft pool place was covered for some private function. This is unacceptable. Also signages are poorly placed. For family time this is a good place to hangout for 1-2 hours. Wave pool is just being operated for 10-15 mins. For waterpark entry 600 is being charged now and if you have someone who won't use the waterpark then entry would be 200 but they won't be allowed to enter the pool area.
Tapas P — Google review
Bad things are... you have to pay every corner of water park. You have to pay for costume. So if u want to go there buy Nylon tshirt & Bermuda. Even baby have to follow the dress code. You cant take outside food. There is no hanger in male/female changing room you have to put ur garments on floor. Good things are nice place to visit if you want to swim deep pool then dont go there....
Mohammad A — Google review
I visited this place back in 2016 with my friends. At that time, the ticket was ₹450 — it might have increased now. I was coming from Rampur when I saw this place and decided to visit. The area is quite large and perfect for kids, picnics, and various activities. There’s a spacious park, a stage where you can dance, and several facilities for physical activities. During the summer, the waterpark here gets really crowded, so plan your visit accordingly. Overall, it’s a great spot to spend time with friends and family. I would definitely recommend visiting at least once!

Nalli Pulao was good, I tried white chicken it was too rich with oil and the serving curtllary was plastic spoons in a hot dish, which is really dangerous for health. Do not expect a good sitting area while visiting this location.

One of the best place for couples for hanging out. There are entry fee that is Rs. 10 per person and 20 rs per vehicle. Vehicle parking space is enough for this park. There is no water facility inside the park. Some birds are also there and playing stuff is also available for kids. Entry gates are from all sides but only a main gate that is at Roorkee Road, is open for all.

A very good place to visit in meerut, having plenty of area to walk and sit. Well maintained parks, having flower plants , ducks, rabbits, and boat ride inside the park. Gandhi park have open gym for morning and evening exercises. We can see many of them walking around there. Also there is an old well which is moved from Delhi to meerut. Place to sit and relax, statues, children play area, Having coffee shops coffee ☕, ice-cream🍦 parlours 🍿🥧etc. Well crowded in festival times.actually the disappointing thing is lovers, if u are in single u feel alone because there are too many couples there👩‍❤️‍👨. I suggest to come in pair😉.
Bineesh B — Google review
Good place to visit with family also, as the biggest garden of the city, contains flowers, greenery, fountain with music, ducks, pigeons, rats, rabbits etc. Children park is also there with almost all kinds of swings (jhule). Peaceful as situated in cantonment. You can also have snacks items inside the garden. A small boating area (include ticket)is also good but need to be cleaned. They also have put some small charges (approx Rs 30) per person entry. Overall good experience of refreshment over the city rush.
Shubham J — Google review
Very well structured for civilians(neighborhood) , specially in the evening they spend time with nature because the garden is full of trees and open gym for children. The water shower (phabbara) attract the people. But if you are going there for something new you will get nothing but a water shower ( without any music just water flow) surrounded by many trees that you have seen in the park. In addition to every person have to give 20 rs per head charge without any receipt I think that is not reasonable. I spent half an hour in the park so the amount was high, if you spend a whole day then you can afford this money. So this is what I feel.

Shri Baba Augharnath Shiv Mandir

Mentioned on
1 list
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Shri Baba Augharnath Shiv Mandir is a reconstructed Shiva temple and pilgrimage site in Meerut, known for its ornate gopura gates and mythological carvings. This Hindu temple holds both religious and historical significance, as it was the starting point of the great revolt for India's independence in 1857. Located in the Cantonment area of Meerut, this renowned temple is a popular tourist attraction.
It is said that the tree under which Mangal Pandey and his companions planned the revolt of 1857... Was in this temple's premise. But even if you ignore the historical significance of it, the temple in itself is a brilliant piece of architecture, covered in marble stone. Such a luxury it was to visit the temple.
Super P — Google review
Shri Baba Augharnath Shiv Mandir, also known as the Augharnath Temple, is a deeply spiritual and historically significant temple located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, this temple is not only a sacred religious site but also holds a unique place in India’s history, as it is associated with the First War of Independence in 1857. It's often referred to as the "Kali Paltan Mandir" due to its connection with the Indian sepoys of that era. The temple architecture is beautiful, combining spiritual ambiance with historical reverence. The Shivling inside the sanctum is powerful, and the daily aarti rituals, especially during early mornings and evenings, are truly divine. The energy here is peaceful and grounding—a perfect place for meditation or quiet prayer. The temple premises are clean and well-maintained, with facilities like shoe racks, drinking water, and seating areas for elderly visitors. Devotees from all over India visit this temple, especially during Mondays and Mahashivratri, when the temple is beautifully decorated and filled with devotional energy. Useful Tips for Visitors: Visit early in the morning for a peaceful darshan and to avoid crowds. Mondays are especially auspicious for Lord Shiva, but expect a larger crowd. Keep your footwear at the designated area; the staff ensures it is safe. Photography inside the temple sanctum is generally not allowed—be respectful of the rules. You can offer milk, belpatra, and flowers, which are easily available from stalls nearby. Try to visit the small museum adjacent to the temple to learn more about its connection to India’s freedom struggle. Parking is available nearby, but it can get crowded during festivals or weekends—plan accordingly. Overall, Shri Baba Augharnath Shiv Mandir is not just a place of worship, but a powerful spiritual and historical destination that leaves a lasting impression. Whether you're a devotee of Lord Shiva or a history enthusiast, this temple is a must-visit in Meerut. Har Har Mahadev! 🕉️🙏

The Kali Paltan Temple in Meerut is one of those rare places where history and spirituality meet perfectly. Known as one of the oldest temples in the city, it’s not just a religious spot but also a symbol of India’s first freedom struggle in 1857. The peaceful atmosphere, the divine energy of Maa Kali, and the old-world charm make it a must-visit for anyone coming to Meerut. The temple is well-maintained, easily accessible, and surrounded by small local shops selling flowers and prasad. Early morning and evening aarti are truly powerful moments the sound of the bells and chants just lift your spirit. If you’re visiting Meerut, don’t miss this temple. It’s not just about worship it’s about feeling the strength and spirit of our history.

Thus it still lacks in the availability of many big brands. Mall is hygienic and cleanliness level is up to the mark. It also has cinema inside and it has newly opened gaming arena for kids. This park is a serene escape with lush greenery with cleanliness, well-maintained paths, and a peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for walking, jogging, or relaxing. Great for families, with clean picnic areas and a playground. A must-visit for nature lovers. Visiting charges are 10Rs.
Mohit B — Google review
This park is one of the best places in Greater Noida, offering a peaceful escape with its long walking trails and abundant greenery. The variety of flowers and unique trees, some of which are rare and typically found in foreign regions or forests, is a great highlight. I appreciate that the park hosts events and invites special guests regularly, adding to its charm. It's a popular spot throughout the day where people come to relax and enjoy nature. While the small entrance fee of 10 Rs is reasonable, the park could benefit from more regular maintenance to keep it in top condition.

Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park is a large park . Good for Morning and evening walk. on weekends people enjoy picnic here, good place for family and kids. Lush Green Environment. a fairly large green area ☘️🌿🌱🍀. Good place for Joggers and Yoga enthusiasts. A pretty decent playground for kids and youngsters.
VICKY — Google review
The best place in Greater Noida imo. Nice and beautiful and it is so because it has a paid entry of Rs 10/-. That nominal amount keeps the place neat, green and appropriately occupied. I wish this place stays this beautiful forever and people of the region and this great country learn the civic sense needed to get rid of that nominal entry fee.

The Grand Venice Mall, also known as TGV mall, is an Italian-themed shopping center that aims to recreate the magic of Venice. With its Venetian-style architecture, canals, and gondola rides, it offers a unique experience for visitors. The mall features replicas of famous Venetian structures like the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Roman sculptures. It's not just a shopping destination but also an architectural delight and entertainment spot.
Great Experience. Amazing infrastructure, based on Italy theme. Too many shops and also a large food court to eat. Also, there is a game centre. Also, there is boating facility, which will cost you rs.300 per person on weekdays and rs.400 on weekends. Overall, a new and good experience.
ARJUN — Google review
The ambiance is uniquely calming and relaxing, thanks to the Venice theme. However, the mall is not well-maintained, with many areas showing neglect, and a large number of closed and empty stores make the atmosphere feel disappointingly deserted. Great concept, poor execution.
Prashant P — Google review
The Grand Venice Mall is praised for its unique Venetian-style architecture, including gondola rides on internal canals, a replica of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, and a vibrant atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the variety of shops, a large food court with diverse options, and entertainment such as movies and a live show. However, some downsides noted in reviews include the cost of the gondola ride, which is sometimes described as expensive for the duration, and the ongoing construction in some areas. Overall, it's considered a unique destination for a few hours of entertainment and shopping, though its appeal as a primary destination for serious shoppers is debated, especially for those in nearby Delhi. Positive aspects: Unique architecture: The mall is noted for its Venetian theme, including canals and gondola rides. Variety of options: Reviewers mention a good range of branded shops, a large food court, a movie hall, and other entertainment options. Atmosphere: Many find the ambiance to be aesthetically pleasing and a good place for family outings. Negative aspects: Cost: The gondola ride is frequently mentioned as being expensive for the short duration. Construction: Some parts of the mall are still under construction, which can be a drawback.
Ragib S — Google review
A unique Venice-themed mall with gondola rides, canals, and stunning architecture that really feels like Italy. Great for photos and a relaxed outing. Shops and food outlets are there, but on weekdays it feels quiet and less lively. Worth visiting for the experience more than shopping.
Shubhi A — Google review
The Grand Venice Mall is a beautiful place to visit with family or friends. The Venice-style design, gondola rides, and wide range of shops make it a fun and relaxing spot. Great for shopping, dining, and spending quality time together. Truly one of Noida’s best malls! 🌸
Satyaprakash ( — Google review
Visited this mall with great expectations but got really disappointed. The place looks very old and poorly maintained. Paint is coming off, cracks on the walls, and hardly any shops are open. Feels like no one is taking care of it anymore. From outside too it looks dull and worn out. Such a big mall but completely wasted potential.
Abhi A — Google review
The Grand Venice Mall in Greater Noida is a unique and visually stunning shopping destination that stands out for its Italian-inspired architecture. Modeled after the canals and landmarks of Venice, it offers a picturesque and immersive experience with gondola rides, ornate bridges, and grand facades that make it feel like a European escape in the heart of India. The mall houses a wide variety of retail outlets, including national and international brands, making it a convenient place for both shopping and entertainment. From fashion and electronics to cosmetics and lifestyle products, there's something for everyone. The food court is diverse, offering a range of cuisines—from Indian street food to global fast-food chains—catering to varied tastes. One of the highlights is the indoor entertainment zone, featuring attractions like Snow Mastiii (an indoor snow park), a gaming arcade, and a multiplex cinema, making it a great family-friendly destination. Cleanliness, security, and ample parking add to the convenience. However, some parts of the mall still feel underutilized or in development, which can slightly affect the overall experience. Despite that, The Grand Venice Mall remains a must-visit for its aesthetics and range of activities. Whether you're looking to shop, dine, or just enjoy the ambiance, it offers a memorable day out.

Entry exit of mall was really confusing. No escalator was working. PVR was good. However exit stairs were not clean. You won't have to waste anytime in looking for it. It's super easy to locate and reach inside. The seats are pretty good and the price is also reasonable for both 2d and 3d. They also provide offers for meals in the theatre that's a plus point if you're really hungry and don't want to spend too much in popcorn. The waiting area is very spacious and well decorated for those photo lovers, lots of posters of upcoming movies

First Mall of Delhi , ANSAL PLAZA MALL , is located near Pari Chowk, Amit Nagar, Sadarpur, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India. When opened, Ansal Plaza was very popular among the shoppers and enjoyed the full success due to its Amphitheater, food court, and special offerings. Gradually it stopped attracting and inviting people when the new and bigger Malls started coming in the NCR with better amenities . It’s an example of very poor management and failure of management to adapt to changing customers preferences. Now the Mall is almost closed. Here ,in the case of Ansal Plaza Mall , The Darwin’s theory is 100% correct- Struggle for existence & Survival of fittest.
Umesh T — Google review
The existence of this mall raises questions, as it appears to be largely vacant. Shoppers are unlikely to find any useful goods or have substantial shopping options, and even when options are available, they are quite limited. The mall offers significant space, and management possesses the opportunity to implement changes relatively quickly, given its prime location.
Sahil V — Google review
This mall is just a big building with no actual humans in it. About 10-15 shops were there. The entrance is like a horror movie. The whole mall looks like it could turn into a horror movie anytime. Don’t recommend any girl to go there alone as it will scare you a lot.
वंshika A — Google review
High parking charges even there are only 5-10 shops Chroma is there No AC is working Only 5-10 people crowd in whole mall Location of McD will haunt you Don't go there alone especially girls Spas are there

This Plaza contains so many shops Like, Reliance digital, PVR, Chroma, McDonald's, Addidas, Allen Solly and many more .... for shopping, food and Entertainment. But this Place not open totally means lot's of shops are not opened yet and still in maintenance. But overall good you can here for timepass 😁😁 Thank you 🙏🙏..

Swarna Jayanti Park, also known as Smrithi Vatika, is a sprawling green oasis in Ghaziabad that spans an impressive 250 acres. This park is a delightful blend of tranquility and activity, featuring beautifully manicured lawns, jogging paths, and serene boating lakes. Visitors can enjoy the lush surroundings while indulging in picnics or engaging in outdoor exercises.
One of the best parks in Indirapuram Ghaziabad. Located at a very prominent location in Niti Khand 3. The entry fee is 10rs and free for children or senior citizens. A very big park is recommended for all age groups. Well maintained and beautiful. School picnics, family outings or kid friendliness are the main attractions. Ample parking space around the park. Entrance is available from two sides. Highly recommended to bring your kids.
Ashish R — Google review
Swarna Jayanti Park is a lovely place for a relaxing day out with family, friends, and kids. The entry fee is quite reasonable—₹10 for visitors aged 5 and above. The environment is peaceful and serene, making it ideal not only for picnics but also for morning walks, yoga sessions, and light sports activities for children. There are numerous huts throughout the park that offer shelter during rain, and security is well-maintained, which adds to the overall comfort and safety of visitors. Outside the park, you’ll find a variety of food courts and stalls, giving visitors plenty of options for snacks and meals after their visit. *Highlights* * Great for families, friends, and kids. * Entry fee: ₹10 for ages 5 and above. * Very peaceful and quiet environment. * Suitable for morning walks, yoga, and small kids’ sports. * Huts available for rain protection. * Good security presence. * Plenty of food options just outside the park. *Areas of Improvement:* * The boating area needs urgent repairs; many parts are broken. * Water in the boating lake is dirty, unhygienic, and the water level is quite low. * Cleanliness and general maintenance need improvement in multiple sections of the park. * Many benches are damaged and should be repaired or replaced. *Suggestions* Previously, the park had a well-maintained play area with swings and adventure activities for kids, free of cost. Unfortunately, this has now been taken over by a third-party vendor who charges separately for each activity. This change feels unfair, especially since visitors already pay an entry fee. It would be better to bring back free, standard playground equipment for children like before.

0. Parking is not owned by this park. Vehicle is parked on you own risk. But there's a private parking if you need to stay there for long. You can use it. (Parking charge is unavailable) 1. This is a beautiful place with greenery all around. 2. Safe place for picnic, walking, family and couples. 3. You can find an open gym inside for excercise. 4. You can find play way slides for kids (Maybe Chargeable) 5. Boating, waterfall are available. 6. A green beauty can be seen here during rainy weather. But, park surface is not walkable after rain. 7. Entry fees ₹10 per person. Location: Indrapuram Ghaziabad.

A fun and educational experience for kids and families! The dinosaur models are quite detailed and interactive, and the setup is engaging enough to spark curiosity in young minds. Great photo opportunities and a good mix of entertainment and learning. However, the space can get a bit crowded on weekends, and a few installations could use better maintenance. Overall, a unique and enjoyable visit for children interested in prehistoric creatures!

This beautiful Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna with Golden chariot on raised platform The architecture of Iskcon is amazing, the walls and ceilings are beautifully decorated. Lord Krishna and Radha images in white dress looks awesome and eye catching. Some other images of Raasleela also well displayed. They serve free scrumptious lunch prasadam to visitors every day from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. There is ample parking space. For the seniors wheel chairs as well as lifts are there. The temple itself is a true highlight, offering a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The accommodation provided is comfortable, with the rooms being well-kept and inviting. However, the bathroom facilities could benefit from more thorough cleaning and upkeep to match the overall quality of the stay. The lift service, operating from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM, is a convenient feature, though it's worth noting that guests will still need to navigate 4-5 steps even when using the lift. Dining at the Govind Restaurant was enjoyable, with the food being notably delicious and satisfying. Free parking is available directly in front of the temple along the road, adding convenience to the visit. The rooms are located approximately 80 meters from the temple's front gate, making it easy to access the temple on foot. Overall, the experience was quite positive, with the temple's ambiance and the quality of the food contributing to a memorable stay. Data as of February 27, 2023.
