Water is the soul of this space. The garden is famed for its numerous fountains, which are supplied from the nearby Fateh Sagar Lake (and later merged into the Bari by Maharana Fateh Singh). These fountains operate without pumps, using a complex hydrostatic pressure system, a testament to 18th century's engineering. ​Ornamental details are delicate and abundant. Stone carved chhatris feature beautiful floral motifs and repetitive arches, as seen in the dark, richly sculpted archways and canopies. Saheliyon ki bari - A huge and majestic garden located near the banks of Fateh sagar lake, was built by Maharana Sangram Sinh for the royal ladies. He presented this garden to his queen. The queen was accompanied by 48 maids in her wedding. To offer all of them pleasurable moments away from the political environment, this garden was made. This patterned garden used to be the popular relaxing spot of the royal ladies. It has many sections, fountains, lotus pool and marble elephants. Currently, the fountains are managey electronically. But in the old times, this was managed by the vacuum. The garden is very well maintained and full of greenery. There is a nominal entry fees. Must recommend everyone to visit.

Amazing Gardens and fountains built over 200 years ago. Some of the fountains and sprinklers are in wrought iron and imported from Liverpool back then. Some marble fountains are actually marvel fountains with water moving through hollow legs or elephants and out their trunks or through hollow pillars and out the pergola. All of this is using gravity and there are no pumps to keep the water the moving - the water comes from the Fatehsagar lake which is 80 - 90 mts higher than the gardens and the height of the fountain therefore depends on the level of water in the lake. Amazing engineering.......

Visited this garden in Udaipur, entry ticket is ₹30 per person. It’s nicely maintained with clean toilets and even fresh drinking water available at the entry, which is great. The garden itself is good, but since I went during the daytime, the harsh sun made it difficult to enjoy fully. They definitely need more big trees for shade to make the experience more comfortable. The only parts I truly loved were the Savan Bhado and Bin Badal Barsat spots inside the garden - those were beautiful!

Jagdish temple is one of the architecturally and artistically significant temples of North India. It was built by Maharana Jagat Singh-l in 1652 A.D. An inscription placed therein gives detailed information about Guhil rulers and the temple. It is nice historical temple of lord Vishnu in udaipur. Temple is situated in old city. You can reach this temple easily by bike, Taxi or car. I visited at around 9:00 in morning, so crowd is less. But with time crowd getting more and more. Whenever you visit udaipur, I suggest start you journey from here by taking blessings of Bhagwan Vishnu.

Very long queue both for tickets and entry. Online option is not easily found on the web. Some of the performances were good but some very average, specially the duet snake dance performers, they were both doing their own thing ,no co-ordination and appeared to be very casual. The group dances were good. Overall seemed a little like a tourist trap

Bagore ki haveli offers you 2 kinds of experiences, one is the rich history through its museum and the beautiful view and sunset that you can catch from it's jharokhaas and windows. And the other one is ofcourse the dharohar dance show that you cannot miss at any cost. Book the tickets beforehand and buy another ticket for your camera as it's worth it. I went there thrice, and each time it had something new to offer.

Bagore Ki Haveli is a beautifully maintained heritage haveli located near Gangaur Ghat on Lake Pichola. The entry ticket is ₹60, which makes it a very budget-friendly attraction. You can explore the entire haveli in about 30–45 minutes. Inside, you’ll see old Rajasthani rooms, colorful glasswork, jharokhas, traditional costumes, utensils, masks, turbans, and artwork, which show how people lived in the old Mewar period. It’s also a great place for photography, with beautiful courtyards and mirror work. If you want to watch the traditional folk dance and puppet show, there is a separate ticket for the Dharohar Cultural Show held in the evening. The folk dance, music, and puppet performance offer a wonderful glimpse into Rajasthan’s cultural traditions. Bagore Ki Haveli was built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the prime minister of Mewar. Later, it was used by members of the royal family, including Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore. The haveli has more than 100 rooms, courtyards, and beautifully carved balconies. After years of neglect, it was restored by the West Zone Cultural Centre, which turned it into a museum showcasing Mewar’s heritage. A nice, peaceful heritage spot with affordable entry, perfect for a short visit. Great for learning about old Rajasthani culture and also for enjoying the evening folk dance show.

I visited Bagore ki Haveli museum yesterday and it was brilliant. Previously a guest house and a government office, this is now converted into a cultural center and museum. Entry to the venue is ticketed and foreigner tickets cost INR150 and can be bought at the gates.

One of the most beautiful palace I have ever visited. It's very magnificent and well maintained. The museum has lot of information. The weapons used during those days, the paintings, dress and culture all are very well preserved. It's a must visit place. There are authorised guides at the entrance please hire one for 500 to get the detailed information about the palace. Do not exit from the exit gate which you will need to pay 50 more and have to take a boat ride which is way expensive instead exit from the entry gate where there are lot of shopping options. There are is also authentic Rajasthani Thali available inside the palace which is good and reasonable.

You can also see the rounded view of lake. The boating in the lake is beautiful and peache of mind. It's best for photography. The night view is totally best. So I visited the Monsoon Palace recently, and honestly, it’s one of those places that’s more about the view than the palace itself. It’s located on a high hill a bit outside the main city, and once you reach the top, you can literally see all of Udaipur — the lakes, City Palace, and everything else. The view is amazing, especially around sunset or during monsoon when it’s cloudy. Getting there is a bit of a ride though. The road is quite steep and curvy, and it takes around 15–25 minutes to reach the top if you’re going by car or scooty. The entry fee is ₹170 per person, and they also charge ₹300 for cars and ₹70 for two-wheelers. There’s a cab service from the base too, around ₹120 per person if you don’t want to drive up yourself. Once you’re at the top, there’s a small parking area, and you have to walk for about 5 minutes to reach the palace. There’s a small café near the palace that sells basic snacks like samosas, puffs, tea, and cold drinks — nothing fancy but it’s good enough if you just want a quick bite or some water. The palace itself is okay-ish, not very grand or well-maintained, but that’s not really the main attraction. The views from up there totally steal the show. You can see the whole city spread out below — it’s especially beautiful during sunset. Overall, I’d say it’s worth going once, mainly for the views and the drive. Don’t expect a super fancy palace, but if you enjoy scenic spots, it’s a nice little trip.

I visited on a weekday, so there was hardly any crowd and no waiting time to enter. The atmosphere was very spiritual and calming. Everything was well organized, and the locals were helpful. Got peace! One of the best temple of god vishnu! One will enjoy free lazer show at 7:30 pm everyday. And enjoy gods aarti at 8:15 pm. Located at highway.

The icon is very beautiful. Carved over a thousand years ago, it seems to exude a unique aura. The architecture of the temple dates back to seventh century with renovations in eleventh and fifteenth century according to historical data. Surrounded by hills the town is pleasant to walk around.

Visitors appreciate the organized nature of darshan, allowing for a smooth and respectful experience. No photography allowed in darshan area. You can click picture outside of temple.

Tirupati Rushivan was, in one word, a ‘fine’ experience. It is definitely a good pick for children, offering a variety of activities to keep them entertained. However, the afternoon heat makes it quite difficult for them to play comfortably, as the scorching sun can be overwhelming. The rides, unfortunately, felt too basic for adults while at the same time appearing somewhat risky for children. A more balanced selection of attractions would greatly improve the experience, catering to both age groups in a safer and more engaging manner. One of the highlights, however, was the beautiful display of bougainvillaea. The vibrant, colourful flowers added a charming touch to the surroundings, making for a delightful visual treat. On the downside, the washroom facilities were absolutely dreadful. This is an area that certainly needs urgent improvement to enhance visitors' overall comfort.

Had an amazing time here! The place is packed with thrilling activities and fun for all ages. The adventure park had various activities (Go Karting, Dash Car, Mary Go Round, Roller Coaster, Frizbee, Garden Area etc which is perfect for anyone looking for a bit of adrenaline. The staff were friendly and made sure we felt safe and confident during every activity. The water park was just as fantastic. Donot expect it to be as big as other dedicated Water parks but a descent amount of rides that made it easy to spend the whole day here. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and there were plenty of shaded areas to relax when we needed a break. Food options were good — lots of variety and pretty reasonably priced for a park. The Food service was kind of less good but the food was actually good. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Will suggest visiting once ! Just keep in mind that this place is CASH ONLY. (They have option of online payment but only upto 50% of the cost)

This location is undoubtedly good spot to explore during the monsoon season. The natural beauty is breathtaking, with lush greenery enveloping the entire area, offering a refreshing escape from city life. Do carry an ample supply of drinking water and food, as there are no shops or refreshment stalls available in the vicinity. The area is largely untouched and remote, which adds to its charm but also calls for basic preparation. Be prepared for a moderate trek of approximately 3-4 kilometers. The walk through nature is truly rejuvenating, though certain sections of the path can become quite slippery due to rain, so proper footwear is strongly recommended. A camel ride is available near the entry point and adds a unique, enjoyable element to the visit especially for families or those looking for something different.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) Visited Zanzari Waterfall during the rainy season and it was a beautiful experience 🌿💦 The walk to reach the waterfall is quite long, but if you don’t want to walk much, you can also take a camel ride – I paid ₹400 for 2 people. The place feels very refreshing and peaceful once you reach the falls. 👉 Best time to visit: Rainy season 👉 Things to keep in mind: Be ready for a bit of walking, carry water, and wear comfortable shoes.

Such beautiful view and this place is for those people who likes to track because you have to travel by walk approximately 2/2.5 km from vehicle parking and as per name waterfall was not so much big but i think this was a peaceful location to enjoy. A very peaceful and enjoyable place for one day trip, can spend the whole day in the nature then go there, just don’t go very near to the waterfall as there have been many accidents in the past where people have lost their lives. But if you stay safely then its a very good place to be at. Loved the vibe also you can get Maggie there as well. Village people will be there selling Maggie and tea. Avoid taking the camle ride coz it’s not that far from the parking lot.

I recently visited Bliss Water Park in Mehsana, and it was a day filled with both excitement and disappointment. The park itself is well-maintained and offers a good variety of rides. The wave pool is one of the major highlights — it’s clean, spacious, and gives you the real thrill of ocean waves. Another attraction that stood out was the Crazy River ride, which was total fun and perfect for families and friends looking for an exciting splash. However, my experience was ruined by the food. I had a meal from one of their food stalls, and it was a big letdown. The quality and hygiene seemed questionable. Unfortunately, just a few hours after eating, I started feeling uneasy and later suffered from food poisoning, which spoiled the rest of my trip and the following day as well. While the rides and water attractions are top-notch and worth the visit, the management seriously needs to improve the food quality and hygiene standards. I would recommend bringing your own food if possible or eating outside the park. Overall, Bliss Water Park is great for fun and adventure but fails when it comes to food safety.

The park can easily house 2500 to 3000 people. We went there on a day which was a public holiday, but since there was long weekend, the number of people rhat arrived was less. It is a good water park with around 9-10 rides. Crazy river was one of the best rides. They have a separate children's area. Parking is free. We went there when there was an offer and got food inclusive at 900/-. 200/- was locker charge. 30/- was the charge of 1 photo(soft copy). It has around 9 to 10 big rides. You can easily do all of them without the express ticket. They allow it regular people and one express person. 8:1 ratio. So no real use of express ticket. Also in express ticket only a few Tower rides and crazy river is covered. Children will love the experience.

Had a fantastic time at the water park! The ticket price was totally worth it, especially with lunch included — the food was delicious, fresh, and way better than expected. What truly impressed me was their focus on safety and comfort. The security guards were actively monitoring the gents-only area, ensuring that families could enjoy the pool without any discomfort. There was a well-managed separation between the family zone and the gents’ section, all within the same pool, which made it comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. Nice water activities but there are no lift to climb the high towers that makes you tired soon. Overall great water park in terms of safety, security and enjoyment. Too much rush on weekends so it’s better if u can visit on weekdays. Including food is also of good quality and great taste. We were unable to do all the rides due to rush and towers without lift to climb and timings of river is also very tough to catch, so if you wish to go through the river you need to plan accordingly and wait for some time.

Better experience than other waterpark, specially food is too good and free cool drinking water arrangements everywhere in water park. Best place to get best experience for rides and swimming. Credit goes to good management. Everything is best, one business idea is there of photography in wave pool. Few photographer take photos in camera and ask to take photos from studio which charged INR 30 per photos and it's mandatory to take all photos which is drawback with loosing one star, there should be option to choose photos from taken photos and pay for only choosen photos, everything else is best. 👌🏻

Bliss Aqua Waterpark is a great stop if you're heading towards Ahmedabad from Jodhpur it’s located around 10 km before Mehsana city, right off the highway. Just note that it’s on the opposite side, so you’ll need to take a U-turn about 200 meters ahead. The park has free parking, but the parking area is a bit far (around 200 meters from the entrance), so it’s better to drop your family at the gate first and then park the car. Entry opens at 10 AM. Tickets are available right at the main gate ₹899 for adults and ₹600 for kids below 4 feet. The best part? All tickets include coupons for a free unlimited lunch buffet. The food was decent we had puri, chana masala, rice, dal, and aamras. Just a heads-up, the dal is quite sweet (classic Gujarat style), but everything was fresh and filling. Now coming to the main attraction the rides. There are tons of options for both kids and adults. Many of the adult slides are designed for 2 people, a few for 3–4 people, and some are for solo riders. I’d definitely recommend visiting in a group of at least 2 to make the most of the multi-person slides. The slides are thrilling and on par with what you'd expect in big parks like Imagica. The wave pool is also quite good and adds to the fun.

It's a very peaceful garden and very less crowded. There is a yoga space, open gym, a kid play area, relaxing benches, and unique designed lane. There is a beautiful marble statue showcasing the connection of Yoga and nature. It's really eye catching. Enough parking space outside the entry. You will definitely enjoy being here. Must visit.

I spent hours exploring and learning about its history - it’s amazing to think about how it was constructed so many centuries ago! Definitely a must-visit if you're in the Gandhinagar area. Whether you're a history buff or just someone who appreciates beautiful architecture, Adalaj Ni Vav is a place you can’t miss. Would love to return again soon!

A very fine example of craftsmanship in stone and the art of building Step wells. Structure is well preserved and offers a glimpse of architectural mastery of the age. It is a five storied structure with intricate carvings adoring the walls and ceilings. At the ground level structure is protected by a thick boundary wall and there are steps in multiple directions to get into the well.

The Adalaj Stepwell (Rudabai Stepwell) is a magnificent five-story architectural marvel built in 1499, which holds the poignant history of Queen Rudabai who ensured its completion after her husband's death before tragically ending her own life. The well's intricate carvings, including detailed ornamentation and mythological scenes across its galleries, showcase exquisite craftsmanship and create a truly atmospheric subterranean space. One of the cleanest and well-maintained places I have been to. I had an industrial visit here. This ashram shows the life of Gandhi in an extensive way. Lot of trees in the premises. Must-visit.

Nestled on the banks of the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad (with a wide access now created from the Sabarmati Riverfront project), the Sabarmati Ashram stands as a pillar of India’s freedom movement and the personal abode of Mahatma Gandhi from 1917 to 1930. Founded by Gandhi, the ashram served not only as his residence but as the nerve-centre of the Non-Violent Civil Disobedience Campaigns, including the 1930 Salt March. The simple, humble buildings and open spaces reflect Gandhi’s ideals of truth, simplicity, self-reliance and community life. A standout architectural element of the ashram is its museum complex – the Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya – designed by legendary architect Charles Correa and completed in 1963. Correa imbued the museum with a vernacular modernism: modular 6 m × 6 m units arranged around courtyards and water-bodies, brick piers, stone floors, tiled roofs and wooden louvre screens all deliberate to reflect ‘swadeshi’ materials and climatic responsiveness. The museum architecture draws inspiration from the layout of village houses in Gujarat’s Banni region and is designed for incremental growth, symbolic of a ‘living institution’. In recent years, the ashram has entered a major new phase: the central and Gujarat governments have rolled out a masterplan for a ₹1,200 crore redevelopment project that will expand the ashram precinct from the current 5 acres to around 55 acres, encompassing 36 existing buildings for conservation, restoration or redevelopment. The plan includes new visitor-orientated amenities such as an orientation centre, interactive workshops on charkha spinning, handmade paper, cotton weaving, a library and archives, and multilingual interpretive exhibits. Together, the ashram’s historic legacy, Correa’s architecture and the sweeping redevelopment project combine to make Sabarmati Ashram not just a preserved heritage site but an evolving memorial that aims to communicate Gandhi’s values to future generations in a holistic, immersive way.

This is my second visit after fifteen years. During my first visit I spent about three hours at the place going through each and every display. On the River front things were not so well organised. Now the place looks aged and lacks maintenance. The river front is now totally revamped and looks very inviting. Construction work for the new museum has started and may be, after couple of years it will again be a place to visit.

Absolutely loved it. The lake is very beautiful and amazing. It has few entry points but not all of them have parking option available. There are so many activities to do in the lake. Lots of food options. Lots of amazing activities. The train is very amazing, it gives you a one round about tour of a lake. In addition with that, it has flower garden, fishes to see and joy to experience.

This is a very good place. The people come there to eat. The scenery there is very nice. I like it there a lot. There is a ride here. I also play with the children. There is an old tarin here. I sit in it and go around the whole Kakaria. This is a good one.

I went to Sabarmati Riverfront early in the morning during my exam days, and it turned out to be a very relaxing experience. The place is calm, the sound of the river waves is very soothing, and the cool morning breeze makes it even better. Ahmedabad can be quite hot, so visiting this place in the morning felt really peaceful. There’s a metro station around 2 km away, so it’s also easy to reach. The main riverfront area is open 24/7, but if you want to visit the Atal Bridge or garden area, they open after 9 AM. There are trees all around, and you can even find bicycles nearby to ride, though they are a bit costly. Still, it’s a good experience, especially for visitors from outside the city. Overall, a great spot for a quiet walk or just to sit and relax in the fresh air.

The riverfront is very beautiful and it is very peaceful during non-peak hours. I visited during early morning hours and I saw people cycling and jogging on the promenade. The river was very calm and greenery was lush. The infrastructure developed by the government there is very well maintained. The walking space is huge and very picturesque. The long riverfront offers ample space to exercise, cycle, run and walk. The place is also clean and not littered by plastic. I also saw a river cleaning boat gathering trash that was thrown in river during early hours.

Every year Kite festival is organized at this place during 14-January week. It's runs for 4 days approximately. During day there are people from different countries participating their kite flying skill. During evening there is cultural programs. Parking is not available at this event place. Laden is 2-3km far near the flower park. Is wish a visit. There's food court, wash rooms and drinking water facility.

The place is very beautiful with a proper cleanliness maintained throughout. Here their was few public entertainment thing here like the bicycle ride and other things. The river is also very neat and clean. The police persons also take rounds continuously through the river front for security. 0

Slightly remote place, on the way to bhavnagar from ahmedabad. There is less public transportation means. Very nice place to feel the ancient history, no entry fees for visiting the site. Lothal museum is under construction about 5 km from the site.

It’s amazing to see how advanced people were thousands of years ago — with a proper dockyard, drainage system, and town planning. The museum nearby showcases pottery, seals, and artifacts that give you a real sense of life during that time. The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a day trip from Ahmedabad. If you love history, archaeology, or just want to explore India’s ancient roots, Lothal is definitely worth visiting.

The Harappa civilization site at Lothal is a very beautiful place. It exudes a sense of peace, and the cool breeze makes you wonder why the people of Lothal chose to live here—perhaps it was because of this serene environment and pleasant climate. Although the structures are very old, their condition is gradually deteriorating because visitors enter the ruins, causing damage. In its current open state, it seems like the Archaeological Survey of India is not actively preserving it. The cemetery appears almost lost, with no accessible path to reach it. Overall, the site is very enriching for history enthusiasts, while others may see it as just a casual visit. However, you can truly appreciate that the people of that era had knowledge of science and mathematics. The government should take action to protect and preserve this heritage site.

Visiting lothal on weekends specially on early morning drives is recommended. I have visited yhe site at post monsoon so the dockyard is full of water giving real vibe. The location shows there is a museum is permenent closed. If you have prior knowledge of this site then this visit could be the most interesting. Otherwise you real roam around and exit.

Best time to visit this place is during winters. You will be able to sit and experience the thousands of years of history here. A must visit for history enthusiast. Currently the archeological musuem is under construction. There is no information when it will open again, therefore you won't be able see the artifacts that have been found here. But the site is open and you can definitely visit it.

Visited Lothal with family and really enjoyed the experience. The place gives a simple but amazing glimpse into one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Seeing the ancient dockyard and town layout felt like stepping back in time. Display photos of interesting artifacts explains things nicely. The area is peaceful, clean, and easy to explore. Carry water and a cap because the sun likes to attend the tour too. Great spot for a short, educational family trip. Perfect for anyone curious about old Indian history in a calm setting.

I have been visiting Salangpur Hanumanji Mandir for almost 25 years now and have witnessed its amazing transformation — from a small temple to a grand tirtha sthaan. The growth in the last 5–7 years is truly remarkable. The new dharamshala, with 952 rooms, is incredible — it feels like a 5-star hotel with all modern amenities. The new bhojanshala is outstanding too, with an impressive capacity and excellent management. As for the temple, there are no words — simply divine. Every visit feels special, and the murti of Hanumanji astonishes me every single time. All this is possible only because of Hanumanji’s grace and blessings on everyone who visits. Jai Shree Ram! 🙏

One of the best temple adjacent to BAPS swaminarayan temple dedicated to God Hanuman. It has a neat and clean surrounding and a devine feeling. Ample parking is available near temple and also many food outlets. It is also known as Kashtbhanjan temple. It's near Botad in Saurashtra and a popular destination among devotees. It has several good guest houses surrounded by temple with a Gaushala.

Very nice amusement park with lots of rides for kids and adults. They start at 4pm and is open all days in the week. There are some 4d show and horror house which is generally operational on weekends or when there are many people to attend. The entry ticket is 17₹ for kids and 34₹ for adults, however there are combo package available at the ticket counter which includes 10-12 rides at apprx. 200₹. Or else u can chose and pay for each ride inside (they are reasonable between 17-30₹ per ride).

Perfect place for kids to enjoy. This place has many rides which kids like a lot and many of these are suitable for adults as well. There are rides packages available at entrance at nominal cost like Rs 200 or so for 10-12 rides else one can also pay for individual rides at multiple counters present inside the premises as well. The place is majorly clean and toilet and water facility are available. Some options for Snacks icecreams etc are also available. One can find free Parking on main road outside. During late evening times the crowd is too much so one has to wait in long queues for his/ her turn for each ride. Overall nice breakout place for couple of hours.

It's is one of the best museum of Gujarat, to understand the global culture. However its in narrow area, parking is also little problem. Worth to visit. Spare 1-2 hours.

A unique museum!! It's a rare opportunity to see a Dolls museum, here in Rajkot. Good to visit with children. The museum is situated on 2&3 rd floors. The lift was not working when we reached there. We had to climb steps. It was built by an ex Rotary president of Rajkot for his daughter. He wrote mails to Rotary branches of the world and hence many international branches sent dolls representing their country and regions. It takes around 1 hour to see all the exhibits. The rooms are air conditioned. The tickets cost ₹30 per adult and ₹15 per child. It costs another ₹125 if you want to click photos. The dolls represent their country's costume and culture. Children can spend good time there. However make sure they have emptied their bladder before. Because the toilet here is a medieval era one, on the ground floor. I wish the Rotary club would pay attention and renovate the toilet as kids come to this place.

A total different experience. Must visit, just 30₹ pp entry fees. This museum is surely made due to low and attraction towards dolls by rotary club. Definitely not a commercial thought process. Much appreciate the concept. They have 2 floors of museum, soveniour shop inside and collection of 1800+ different dolls from approx. 108 countries. Totally different and unique experience. Worth visiting. Please note its closed on Monday.

It’s been great to see a father’s commitment to her daughter for building such a dolls museum because he wasn’t able to make her daughter saw museum in Delhi. Many activities are going on here with just deposit and if full attendance then they refund full amount. Really well preserved all dolls in museum and one Zebra ride kind of activity is great for kids.

Best place for tourism. There are 10,000 steps for go up & 10,000 step for come to the base. If you are a hill and forest lover, you will love it. Because the greenery of the hill is next level. You can see thousands of trees, flowers and various plants from the hill. When reached to the top of the mountain, it feel like you are above the clouds. In some areas of the heels, It feels like you are between clouds. That was wonderful experience for me and I got precious memories of my life.

We visited the zoo on a Thursday and were impressed by the variety of animals, especially the dancing peacock. The safari was well-organized and enjoyable. Only few food options are there It would be more helpful if have more food options available, but overall, it was a great day out and I would definitely recommend it to families with young children.

I visited here with my family. This zoo is very big and comfortable place for birds and animals. Trusts are always taken care of this animals as well as birds and snks. Howevere, this zoo is very useful to know about animals, birds and other wild animals. This is well maintained place 👏 👌 🙌 👍 😀 must visit.

I was impressed by the variety of animals at this zoo. Some exhibits seemed a little less maintained than others, but generally it was consistent. The lions and tigers are definitely the star attractions. The only thing that was fairly appalling was just how much more expensive it is for foreigners. I understand that tourists can pay more, but it was about an 8x-10x difference in price. AND they also charge if you happen to have a good camera, which I did, so I had to go back to the car to leave it there. 😒

The oldest zoo in India. Spread over 200 acres. Tickets cost quite less. 20 for adult and 10 for kids up to 12. Has a lot of animals & birds. Their stars are the Lion, Lioness and Tiger. They also have bison, zebras, deer, hyenas, hippos. Birds range from small parrots and parakeets to eagles, owls, to flamingos, ostriches and emus. For another 100 you can take a golf cart, but it's better to walk and see the animals at your speed. Golf cart just zips thru and back in 25 min, not worth the money. They have a small safari inside the zoo. It costs 100 separately. Some Lions, Tigers (esp white tiger), bears are moved there and not available to view in the zoo. The landscaping is really good, need to appreciate the effort. Warning: DO NOT ENTER THE TOILET. It is so bad that it's like it had never been been cleaned since inauguration. I was almost fainting when I got out. So much for the oldest zoo. They can make it chargeable or increase ticket cost by 5rs and clean it.

Multiple varieties of Animal species are present. The numbers are huge and very satisfying. However, the cleanliness and maintenance of the Zoo is not up to the mark. Especially the living conditions of the animals, it's really painful to watch them stay in very dirty cages which are not maintained from the inside.

Our ancestors built such magnificent architecture with sheer intelligence, effort, and vision. The forts standing tall on hilltops, with their perfect security systems, showcase brilliant planning and craftsmanship. It’s a salute to that era, to the people who built such wonders. Their legacy is not just beautiful — it’s something today’s world should learn from. We must respect and preserve our rich culture and history, and carry its essence forward with pride."

The entry fee might seem a bit high to some for a government-run monument, and the lack of proper parking for four-wheelers can be an inconvenience. It's a place that holds immense historical value, but visitors should manage their expectations regarding the facilities and upkeep.

Uparkot Fort is truly a gem of Junagadh! The fort is full of history, with ancient walls, beautiful stepwells like Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuvo, and old Buddhist caves that show the rich culture of the past. The view from the top is breathtaking and gives a great look over the whole city. The place is peaceful and perfect for anyone who loves history, architecture, and photography. It’s a great spot to explore with family or friends. Only suggestion — the management could improve cleanliness and provide more information boards about the monuments. But overall, it’s a must-visit attraction in Junagadh! If you want to go there to see the fort , start at 7 in the morning If you go there, take a car because there is a lot of walking here. The facilities there are good, there is a water machine everywhere, there is a toilet and bathroom, and if you have difficulty walking, you can go there safely.

This historical site is a must-visit. The explanations at each point are informative. Allocate 2-3 hours to explore the entire fort. Note that outside food is not allowed, but there's an on-site restaurant, albeit with slightly higher rates. Visitors can opt for a cycle ride or EV car to navigate the points within the fort. Additionally, the Buddhist cave requires a separate ticket, which can only be purchased online. Overall, a good experience.

The fort has witnessed many battles and long sieges, which shows its great strategic importance in Saurashtra’s history. Inside the fort, you can explore the ancient Adi Kadi Vav and Navghan Kuvo stepwells, both carved deep into solid rock, and the Buddhist caves dating back to the 2nd–3rd century. The huge old cannons on the walls and the Nawabi Pond with its waterworks also reflect the engineering brilliance of that era. What makes Uparkot special is not just the structures but the stories they hold. From the top of the fort, the panoramic view of Junagadh is stunning. The moment you enter the forest, you feel the fresh air, the peace, and the thrill of knowing this is the only natural home of the Asiatic lion in the world. The landscape is stunning with thick forests, rivers, and open grasslands that make the safari feel like a real adventure. Even though we did not get to see the lion during our visit, the entire experience was still amazing. We saw plenty of deer, peacocks, monkeys, wild boars, and many beautiful birds. Watching these animals in their natural habitat makes you appreciate how well the forest is protected. The guides and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, always explaining interesting facts about the wildlife and the history of Gir. I would strongly recommend taking the early morning safari. The forest looks magical during sunrise and the chances of spotting a lion are much higher. It is also less hot, so the animals move around more freely. We left with great memories and a strong desire to come back again, because seeing the King of the Jungle is still on our list! Gir National Park is a place that reminds you how important wildlife conservation is. Even if you are unlucky with sightings, the beauty of the nature itself makes the trip totally worth it. Park has online and offline bookings for two types of gypsy safaris (max. 6-8 people) - a 3hr safari in Gir Sasan and 1 hr in Gir interpretation (Devaliya). There is also a safari in bus booking for 190 per person where lots of people travel together. This bus booking tour is of half n hour. The park doesn't operate full day. Mainly the timings are 6 am -11 am and then 3 pm - 6 pm. Thus there are 3 3hr safaris daily and close to 7-8 1hr safaris. We chose the 1 hr safari in Gir interpretation and shared our ride with 3 others. We saw lions, cheetah, peacock, black buck, Nil gaay, eagle, random birds, mongoose, deers. The staff says the best time to visit is early morning or late evening and there are close to 820 lions and 1200 cheetahs in the whole forest! Overall it was a good trip. Hoping to someday do the 3hr safari :)

Had an amazing experience at Gir Forest Safari! The moment we entered, we were lucky enough to spot two majestic lions almost instantly — such a thrilling and unforgettable sight! 🦁 After that, we also saw a leopard, many deer, monkeys, and beautiful birds all around. The forest is lush green, peaceful, and full of life. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helped us spot animals easily. Overall, it was an incredible adventure close to nature — a must-visit for every wildlife lover! 🌿🚙✨

So total 3 slot per day and each safari of 3hr daily. No plastic is allowed. No water bottles allowed. There is a place where ur guide can buy water bottles which need to be returned back. Once a lifetime opportunity.. Go in morning 6-9 and evening 3-6 which is best possible time to see lion.

The Great preserved national park of asiatic lion.lions found only in India and Africa.The forest is about 1000 square km It is spread in four district of Gujarat . There is no tiger there the guide told us that the territory of lion tiger never exist because both are king of the forest .There are so many leopards. the territory of one line is about 40 square kilometres. Last 20 years number of lions increase from 600 to about 1000. In one territory two liones never leave together. When we saw two lions together the guide told us that their brothers and their age was about 10 to 12 years. After hunting deer or nilgai (blue colour cow) and eating about 25 kg of meat lion never eat for one weak. Dera robot 1000 lion 92000 deer and about70,000 nilgai. The forest is Savannah type forest having very tall grasses which we saw first time. For jungle safari always book your slot online. The total charges for 6 person of one Gypsy was about 4700Rs. The Safari starts from devaliya Park. But for Gypsy you have to go to Sasan head office of forest Department which is about 11 km from devaliya Park. Very thrilling experience. Booking of buses is available available in Devaliya park. There are two Safari one is about 1 hour anadar is about 3 hours in open jeep. We found leopards ,lions, dear nilgai in 1 hour Safari. Many people we meet not found lion, leopards in three hr Safari also bad luck. .

My experience at Git Safari was incredible! We enjoyed exciting bus rides and were fortunate enough to see lions and various other animals. It's truly one of the best places for a jungle safari!

Not very great experience. Firstly, website to book tickets is quite confusing. What appears to be a official government site turned out to be an agent. Full payment was made online, however at the check in counter they were insisting for a partial payment. Only when the so called agent turned up everything got sorted. Counter service wasn't friendly and the guide wasn't very polite. Devalia Safari Park is a large fenced area where animals are kept. If you are lucky you could see lions. We were in the last morning slot so we only managed to see lions at a distance resting under the tree. To the best of my understanding there are 3 different safari parks in the Gir region. 1) Devalia 2) Gir 3) Ambardi If I have to visit again, I would give Devalia a miss and try the others.

Have gone to Devaliya park. Gir is closed during monsoon season. We started our journey from Junagadh and our auto driver took us through a nice village side road . Weather was good and cloudy. Map showed 1.5 hrs but road conditions are not good . It took us almost 2.5hrs . We had a online ticket done so didnt have to wait much in counter line. Though my ticket was for 4 to 4.30 i didnt have to wait and got seat at 3.15 wala bus. It was suppose to be a 30 mins ride in bus for which we paid 150 rs per person. For jeep u need to pay around 4k. We saw 4 lioness, peacock, leopard in captivity, black buck deer. It felt The trip ended as soon as it started . If u r taking the bus may be buy 2 to 3 slots over the day. The park has food area , super expensive souvenirs shops.

Gir Safari has it's own name in wild life safari. We my family i visited there, it was awesome. First, you don't need to book online tickets as it was available offline without any waiting period. Mode:-( Bus/Jeep) With my opinion Bus is much better than Jeep safari as AC is available in bus and cost in Bus per person was 190/- where Jeep safari price was 3,000/- approx. We choosed Bus. Because they ensured for 100% lion sighting and we saw. Food:- Food options are available inside it. Staff behaviour:- The driver assigned to us was a local of Sasan village. His behaviour was really good. We cooperated him and in return he allow us to watch more than the time limit. Really salute for good staff of Gujarat Tourism. Conclusion. Hard recommend place.

A sort of protected sanctuary where you will be guaranteed a lion or a leopard sighting along with other animals. Very well coordinated. Bus services are good. U will although miss the feeling of watching the big cat in proper Jungle. The facilities like souvenir shop and kids play area along with canteen are good.

Madhavpur beach is one of the craziest beach anyone would ever witness. Ocean waves here can sometimes be very scary, powerful and huge. Very beautiful place, a good break spot when you’re on the way to Somanath temple. BUT BE VERY CAREFUL ON THE SEA SHORE.
