The ISKCON Temple in Coimbatore, located about 7 kilometers from the city center, spans an impressive 20,000 square feet. Also known as the Hare Krishna Movement, this serene and spiritual place is dedicated to spreading the teachings of Lord Krishna. Visitors can expect a peaceful atmosphere and the opportunity to engage in devotional activities such as chanting Mahamantra and exploring rare books on Bhagawat Puran.
Serene and well maintained Temple by Iskon. The Kirtans sung live are mesmerizing and recommended visit over weekends and festive days especially where you get to experience different aspects of the Gita / Krishna’s life…

Oasis in Desert, Only Hope In Society to Get Real Spiritual Knowledge and To Get Out Of This Material World , Thus Saving Ourselves From The Main Four Real Problems Of Life Which No One Except Srila Prabhupada, Founder Of Iskcon, Could Resolve.. These Problems Are Birth, Death', Old Age & Disease.. Unfortunately No One Cares About These Real Problems Of Life Thus Continue Coming To This Material World Of Miseries.. We have forgotten our original Identity That we are sons/ daughters of Lord Krsna & residents of Vaikuntha and unfortunately came here just for sense gratification.. Only Remedy to go back is to join such Iskcon centres near our home anywhere in world 🌎, Associate with devotees, Chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra, Take Krsna Prasad only, Read Scriptures and go back to our Original Home 🏡 In This Birth.. That Is Real Intelligence... Thanks To Iskcon, Thanks to Srila Prabhupada...

ISKCON Temple in Coimbatore is one of the most peaceful and spiritually uplifting places I have ever visited. The moment I stepped inside, I felt a wave of calmness and positivity. The temple is very well maintained, spotlessly clean, and radiates divine energy all around. What fascinated me the most was the 108 chanting mantra Mandapam – it is simply mesmerizing. Walking through it while chanting gives a unique spiritual experience that stays in your heart. The temple’s architecture is beautiful, the deities are adorned so gracefully, and the entire atmosphere makes you feel closer to Lord Krishna. I was fortunate to visit the temple during the Krishnaashtami festival, and it was an unforgettable experience. The temple was filled with devotion, vibrant decorations, bhajans, and celebrations that created an atmosphere of pure joy and spirituality. The energy of the devotees, the sound of kirtans, and the beautifully decorated idols of Lord Krishna made the festival truly divine. The prasadam served here is hygienic and tasty, and the staff and volunteers are humble, disciplined, and always helpful. Attending the bhajans and kirtans adds a soulful touch to the visit, making it much more than just a temple visit – it feels like a complete spiritual retreat. Overall, ISKCON Coimbatore is not just a place of worship but a space where you can experience peace, devotion, and inner bliss. I would highly recommend everyone to visit, especially during Krishnaashtami, to witness the temple’s beauty at its best.

The main temple is being constructed at an estimated cost of INR 25 crore. The dhyana mantapam or the meditation hall is now being used as the sanctum of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra. The temple provides food almost on all days. There is a goshala where cows are maintained. Well maintained. Once the temple construction is complete, it will be a large complex.

🙏🙏 Hare Krishna 🙏🙏 This is the first time I have visited the ISKCON Temple. It is peaceful place to visit and pray. It's not a big temple yet the place offers peace of mind as you sit on the floor in front of the Lord. We visited the temple on Saturday in the evening. After the aarti the devotees are offered prasadam. Sunday mornings and evenings the devotees gather to listen to the Bhagwat Geeta. Next to the temple is a gaushala. We could see many devotees visiting the temple to offer their prayers. This is a place where you can sit and spend quality time with yourself in the presence of the Lord. The place also offers a variety of books on Krishna and spirituality and other materials related to the prayer for the devotees. I also bought a few books on various topics to get connected to my inner self. Devotees planning to visit the temple, kindly check the timings online when the temple is open for darshan. 🙏🙏 Hare Krishna 🙏🙏

A huge complex run by the government to conduct trade fairs. There are several buildings inside and multiple events are organized. Very similar to the Chennai Trade Centre in Chennai, except that it is not as well kept. Ample car park which is free. Restrooms are available both inside and outside. When I visited, a saree fare was going on. Huge collection of sarees from various parts of the country.

Arulmigu Avinashi Lingeshwarar Temple (Tiruppukkozhiyur)

Mentioned on
1 list
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
The Arulmigu Avinashi Lingeshwarar Temple is a Hindu temple in the Kongu region, featuring stepped towers and carved stone pillars. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is an ancient temple with a 1000-2000 year old history and is the first temple in this region. The architecture of the temple is mesmerizing and it has well-maintained surroundings with plenty of parking space.
The most famous Ancient temple of Avinashi town dedicated to Sundarar comes under among 64 Nayanmar means followers of Lord Shiva. There is a shrine to Sundarar on the banks of the temple tank, and the bottom of the flagpost carries the image of the legend The "Muthalai Vaai Pillai" (crocodile mouth child) story at the Avinashi temple (also known as Avinashi Lingeshwarar Temple or Thiruppukkozhiyur) recounts how Saint Sundarar miraculously rescued a boy who had been swallowed by a crocodile in the temple tank. Two young boys were playing near a tank (Thamarai Kulam or lotus pond) near the temple when one of them was tragically swallowed by a crocodile. The parents of the boy, seeking help, approached the Saiva saint Sundarar, who was on his way to Tiruvanchikulam. Sundarar prayed to Lord Shiva, singing a verse ("ettraan marakken") and demanding that the boy be returned.Miraculously, the water in the tank gushed in, bringing the crocodile with it, and the crocodile spat out the boy, who was miraculously unharmed.

Good old temple. Parking is not a big deal, got ample space. There's no big rush except for festive days. Not a big temple complex as some of the photos might suggest, it's small and only takes 15 minutes to visit and leave. The temple hosts the 63 nayanmars alongside other deities inside the complex which is special. There are inscriptions on the outer wall of the temple, I suppose they are about the history of the temple but some of it has been plastered with cement during renovation. Clean and well maintained.
Vikas R — Google review
This ancient temple, steeped in history, offers a serene escape. The architecture reflects a timeless elegance, whispering stories of generations past. Intricate carvings adorn the sacred space, showcasing the devotion of artisans. A sense of peace pervades the air, inviting contemplation and reflection. The grounds are meticulously maintained, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere. Visiting this temple is a journey through time, connecting one to a rich heritage. The preservation of ancient traditions is evident in every detail. It is a place where reverence and tranquility intertwine.

Avinashi Lingeswarar temple is one of the ancient temples worshipped by the Great devotees, "Nayanmargal," Kumaragurubara swamigal. We felt ecstasy, and it is a pleasant, peaceful, dharsan. It's located in avinashi. A separate entry from the compound is provided for Amman. Normally, it is closed. One bajan hall and free lunch scheme are available outside the temple compound within the premises. After dharsan, at least a few minutes, everyone has to sit calm and meditate to realize the devine power.

Serene Hindu temple complex on hill featuring a garden & large Dwajasthambam (flagstaff).
A beautiful and serene temple having a peaceful ambiance, well managed by KG mills company. The deity inside is exactly the same as that of Tirupati Balaji, Andhra Pradesh. Inside there is a Goshala. There will be a crowd always and it takes a little bit of wait to get Darshan. The main deity and sanctum santorum is accessed by climbing stairs from the ground. There is a counter for selling Temple ladoos and another counter for serving temple prasadam. There are another numerous counters for selling Pooja items and Trigger branded jeans, shirts, tshirts etc. (Oct 2025)

Then tirupati is a Hindu, Perumal temple is nearly maintained by a private organization. Located in sirumugai road at a distance of 36 km from Gandhipuram and takes 55 minutes depending on traffic. On the leftside of the road a board is kept by highways tamil nadu in front of the temple. Please, refer the board for entry (there's an error in showing the entrance by Google map). At the entrance itself they collect the cell, camera to maintain the silence at the temple venue. Taking photos on the premises is not allowed. A peaceful, silent and devotional scenario for pleasant prayers. Some factory outlets and small sales counters and tea stall are available. Toilets, urinals and closets are maintained neatly. Good parking space is available. They charge Rs.50 for "laddu", nice. Suggestion to the sales counter : laddu is dry on the outer, please, check it. There's a cow shelter and sells "panjakavyam" @ Rs 100 per liter.

A very calm and cozy private temple with a view of serene nature with a view of pure positivity. Mobile 📱 phones are not allowed inside the temple and there is a safe deposit for the mobile phones. Delicious Laddus for the cost of ₹50 each is available here. Apart from the temple there are lot of dress shops at cheaper price rate. Ample parking space for four wheelers, even to accommodate vans and buses are available. A small eatery, bakery and provision store is located with the temple premises, for the convenience of the devotees.

Visitors can also reach the temple by car or bike via a road with nine hairpin bends. Those coming by bus need to get off at Chennimalai town and take the temple bus available at the foothills.
Had a truly divine day here. The hilltop setting is peaceful and we were delighted to see many peacocks around the premises—made the visit feel extra special. Do be a little careful with the monkeys though; keep food and bags secure. Beyond the main sanctum, there are two smaller temples a short, walkable distance away. The stroll is pleasant and worth it for the serene vibe and views. Facilities were clean, the staff were courteous, and the overall atmosphere was calm and devotional. If you can, try visiting early morning or around sunset for cooler weather and beautiful light. A wonderful place for darshan and a quiet escape from the bustle. 🙏🦚🐒

If you are planning to visit via public transport from erode there is direct bus. If not there is a bus from kangayam to perundurai vice versa. More than 1200 steps. There is also bus facility available for top but atleast 15 members should opt for that to use bus facility. If you are lucky you can see peacock.

A Divine Hilltop Experience. I lamped 108 Diyas 🪔 for Lord murugan as i have taken a Vow to him. A peaceful miracle that one must visit. The temple is believed to be over 1,000 years old, with origins dating back to the Chola period, built by Sivalaya Cholan of the Kongu Chola dynasty. Whether you are seeking spiritual solace, architectural beauty, or a memorable family outing, Chennimalai Murugan Temple is a must-visit spot. The temple trust provides handy bus services up the hill, making it accessible to all age groups. The temple is also clean and well maintained with Rest room facilities.

Nestled atop Thindal Malai hill, the temple offers "a serene atmosphere" and "panoramic views of Erode" . The temple is accessible by climbing roughly 120 steps, or via a well-paved road for vehicles . Ample parking is available, though there is a fee, and some small shops at the base offer flowers and other items . Located approximately 6–8 km from Erode city center, it’s well-connected via buses and road networks . Festivals & Special Highlights The temple car (golden chariot) is run on certain occasions—such as Fridays—and can be witnessed by paying a donation (e.g., ₹1,500) . Thindal Murugan Kovil is truly a divine and spiritually uplifting place dedicated to Lord Murugan, the embodiment of wisdom, courage, and victory. The temple is situated on a small hill, giving devotees a serene atmosphere away from the noise of the city. Climbing up and having darshan itself feels like a blessing, as the cool breeze and peaceful surroundings fill the mind with positivity and devotion. The idol of Lord Murugan here is majestic and radiates divine energy. The temple is well-maintained, with clean premises and organized darshan, allowing devotees to worship peacefully. The chanting of mantras and the sound of temple bells create an aura of spirituality that deeply touches the soul. One of the highlights is the panoramic view from the top of the hill, which adds to the beauty and sanctity of the temple. Visiting during early mornings or evenings gives a blissful experience, especially when the temple lights shine across the city. Festivals, particularly Thaipusam and Panguni Uthiram, are celebrated with grandeur, attracting devotees from far and wide. The spiritual vibrations during these times are indescribable and must be experienced in person. Overall, Thindal Murugan Kovil is not just a temple but a divine destination where one feels closer to Lord Murugan. A must-visit for anyone seeking blessings, peace of mind, and spiritual upliftment... #Haromhara

Thindal Murugan Temple in Thindal, Erode, Tamil Nadu, is a very peaceful and beautiful place to visit. The temple is built on a small hill and offers a lovely view of Erode city. Climbing up is easy, and the cool breeze makes it a pleasant experience. The main deity, Lord Murugan, looks divine and powerful, bringing peace and positivity to everyone who visits. The temple is clean and well maintained, and the priests are kind and helpful. When I visited, some construction work was going on, which shows that the temple is being improved for devotees. There is car parking available, but it is limited, so visiting early or on weekdays is better. The temple is near a busy traffic area, but it’s easy to reach, and there is a bus stop nearby for those using public transport. The morning and evening atmosphere is very calm and spiritual with beautiful chants. Overall, a must-visit temple in Erode for peace, devotion, and blessings.

Beautiful and peaceful Murugan temple on a small hill in Erode. The temple offers a very calm and divine atmosphere, especially during early mornings and evenings. Climbing the steps is easy and gives a great view of the city from the top. The place is always clean and well-maintained. There's enough parking space for both two-wheelers and cars. Special occasions like Thai Poosam or Panguni Uthiram are celebrated very nicely here. The golden chariot (Thanga Ther) procession in the evening is a must-see. Overall, it's a perfect place to visit with family and spend some quiet time in prayer and peace.

The temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan and is known for its peaceful ambiance, well-maintained premises, and beautiful architecture. The climb to the temple is manageable, and the cool breeze adds to the experience. The priests are friendly and perform rituals with great devotion. Hilltop Hindu temple featuring a colourful tower & ornate stone carvings, plus panoramic city views.
Fantastic place to visit. I love this 💕 due to its location and the architecture brilliance. This temple is located on a hill top with good roads but narrow roads. They charge you ₹30 for cars and ₹20 for bikes. Lengthy vehicles are not allowed so try to use cars or bikes. There is a lot of parking space available in the open parking place so be mindful about the time of visit. This temple is open until 2:00 pm in the afternoon and reopens after 4:00 pm. There is not much of a crowd and it will take approx. 1 hour to complete the entire temple visit. Unless there are any pooja ongoing. A special Q was available at a cost of ₹25 but still free Q itself is a better option to live with. Take some food if required as you won't find many options on the hill top. No monkey menace when we visited so I hope nothing to worry about monkeys. Refer the images for more information. Must visit places at least once if you get a chance to go around this place.

Visited on weekday late morning Not much of crowd. So dharisanam was peaceful Reaching the hill top was Quick and easy if you have 4 wheeler or 2 wheeler Parking space is available in plenty. Not much of waiting time anywhere But it could change on weekends or auspicious days. The new white reflective paint on the outer walkway area is a blessing saves us from the hot surface while walking Temple and the hill top view is so peaceful best time would be morning before 9 and evening from 5 so you can avoid the scorching heat. Monkeys are there and they look for food People are still feeding monkeys thinking they are being kind but actually they are making their life miserable it's very sad to see their condition.

The Arthanareeswarar temple in Tiruchengode, Namakkal district, is indeed a highly significant and renowned hill temple in the Kongu region of Tamil Nadu. Its unique aspect lies in its presiding deity, Arthanareeswarar, a combined form of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, depicting half male and half female. This representation symbolizes the ultimate unity of masculine and feminine energies, the inseparability of Shiva and Shakti, and the concept of balance and equality in the universe. The temple is considered one of the oldest in the region, with inscriptions on its walls suggesting it might be around 2000 years old. It is also one of the 276 Paadal Petra Sthalams, highly revered Shiva temples glorified in the Thevaram hymns composed by the Saivite saints, notably Thirugnanasambanthar. The temple is open from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and then from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The hill road to reach the temple is accessible only until 5:45 PM; after that, vehicle entry is restricted. Sometimes, the free queue for darshan gets jammed because devotees at the front spend a long time praying before the deity, which can inconvenience others and prevent them from spending sufficient time inside the shrine.

Wonderful experience in travel to the temple towards the hill track and return. Waiting for a hour for Swamy Daridhan due to Swami Alangaaram. One of my best experiences in my pilgrimage tour.

The temple’s up on a hill, and the whole place feels really calm and peaceful — it’s got that quiet, spiritual vibe. We didn’t have to wait at all, which was nice. Just a quick heads-up: there are monkeys everywhere — outside, inside, all over — so keep an eye on your stuff! Parking’s easy, and they only charge ₹20 for cars. This temple is mainly known for rituals related to Rahu-Ketu dosha, so a lot of people come specifically for that. Overall a must visit temple if you’re around Coimbatore, Erode or on the way.

I recently visited Arthanareeswarar Temple in Thiruchengode and felt a deep sense of peace. The hilltop location, ancient architecture, and powerful deity make it a special place. The steps are a bit challenging but worth it for the serene darshan and breathtaking views. A must-visit temple in Tamil Nadu.”

A very good temple, i love it! Peaceful and very powerful. Must visit place. If you have own vehicle , you have a good road and ample parking space on hills. Also you have temple buses which takes you from city to hill top. If you want to see Nagaraja (photo i have attached) then you have small road which reaches to that place directly from city(please do ask the locals they will help you)

1008 Shiva & Rajarajeshwari Temple Salem

Mentioned on

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
The 1008 Shiva Temple in Salem is a Hindu temple complex dedicated to Shiva, featuring an array of 1008 identical Nandi statues carved from stone. The main highway runs close by, but the temple can only be reached at the top of the hill. In addition to the impressive lingas and nandis, there are also other allied group temples such as Perumal Temple.
Nestled in the serene surroundings of Ariyanoor, near Salem, the 1008 Lingam Temple offers an ideal escape for those seeking peace, silence, and spiritual rejuvenation. Surrounded by lush greenery and well-maintained natural beauty, this sacred site invites visitors into a tranquil journey of devotion and inner calm. The walk to the top of the mountain is both refreshing and reflective, with every curve of the pathway lined with Shiv Lingas and Nandi statues. Along the way, you’ll encounter various deities that enrich the spiritual atmosphere — from Lord Ganesha welcoming you at the entrance, to temples dedicated to Lord Rama, Jai Hanuman, Lord Shiva with Subramanyam, and the powerful Shakthi Devi. The entire trail is embraced by green plants and tall trees, adding to the sense of serenity. At the summit, a majestic 17-meter statue of Sri Umayambigai Sametha Sri Arunachala Sundareswara overlooks the hills, offering not just panoramic views but a deeply calming presence. The peaceful ambiance and sacred energy make this temple a perfect destination for those wishing to disconnect from the chaos and reconnect with their inner self.
Pranurish Z — Google review
About the temple It’s a relatively modern temple (built around 2010) under the care of the Vinayaka Mission. It has 1008 Shiva lingams arranged such that 1007 surround a central lingam, with a statue of Nandi in front. On the hilltop, the main shrine houses Sri Umaiyambigai Samedha Sri Arunachala Sundareswara. The temple is located on Salem’s bypass road, in Ariyanoor, about 14 km from Salem city centre. Timings There is some variation in reported timings. Here are the credible ones: According to Salem district’s official temple list: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm, and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tamil Nadu Tourism brochure also lists the same timings: 7:30 am–12:30 pm & 4:00 pm–8:00 pm Some sources say it opens from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm (for general viewing) One devotional blog suggests 5:00 am to 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm From TripAdvisor Q&A: for main deity pooja, best between 9:00 am–11:00 am and 5:00 pm–8:00 pm Given these, the official timings (7:30 am–12:30 pm, 4:00 pm–8:00 pm) seem most reliable. Best time to visit Morning (soon after opening) is ideal: cooler, quieter, less crowded. Evening is also pleasant, especially during dusk, when the light and surroundings are serene. The winter months (November to February) are often recommended as the best time to visit (milder weather) Avoid midday in hot months, as heat and direct sun may make the walk up less comfortable

A Serene and Divine Discovery in Salem !! I truly regret having missed this divine place during my previous travels through Salem. This is a serene and peaceful location, nestled amidst nature and adorned with numerous Shiva Lingas, offering a truly calming and spiritually enriching experience. The temple provides convenient car parking with two options. You can either park at the bottom and enjoy a peaceful walk up the small hill, or take the Vinayaka Missions entrance to drive directly to the top. I highly recommend starting from the bottom, parking your vehicle, and beginning your ascent from the Vinayagar shrine. This place is a beautiful confluence of faiths, featuring shrines for all in one location. The atmosphere is incredibly calm and divine, filling you with a sense of tranquility and good vibes. When you're traveling through Salem, I urge you to take the time to visit this spot. You will be pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking views and the powerful, positive energy of the place.

A serene spiritual experience perched on a hill, this temple features an enchanting walkway lined with 1008 Shiva lingams and Nandi statues. The complex is clean, well-maintained, and offers beautiful views of the surrounding greenery. The ascent is pleasant whether you walk or drive, and the inner sanctum has a powerful aura. Some visitors note minor upkeep issues, but overall it’s a must-visit for those seeking peace and devotion.
Shivani P — Google review
Peaceful, unique, and beautifully laid out. Walking the pathway past row after row of Shiva lingams with a majestic central sanctum feels meditative—even on a busy day. The campus is clean, signage is clear, and darshan usually moves smoothly. Families and seniors will appreciate the benches and shaded stretches; kids get excited spotting the numbered lingams. What I liked: calm priests, tidy prakarams, and the satisfying “parikrama” loop where you can complete a quiet round of prayer without jostle. Plenty of photo-worthy angles in the open courtyard (avoid the sanctum for photos). Good to know: mornings and late evenings are cooler; afternoons can be hot in the open areas—carry water. Parking is straightforward near the entrance. Dress modestly, and keep small change/UPI handy for archana/prasadam. Tip: do one slow clockwise round touching each pillar/lingam cluster with your right hand—it turns the visit into a mindful walk. Secret tip: after the main darshan, stand a few minutes at the far end of the courtyard and look back toward the central shrine—the symmetry of the 1008 lingams lining up to the sanctum is the most serene frame of the temple. 🙏

1008 Lingam Temple near Salem is a must-visit when traveling from Chennai to Coimbatore or Ooty. It’s a really big temple — walking inside itself takes more than 30 minutes. The unique part is that it’s a drive-in temple, you can take your vehicle inside and go around for darshan. Very peaceful, clean, and well maintained with a beautiful hill view.”

Arunachaleshwara Temple has impressive scale and architecture, spiritual significance as one of the Pancha Bhoota Sthalam (Agni or fire), and the importance of the Girivalam (circumambulation of the Annamalai hill). It has a powerful, spiritual atmosphere, noting that the temple can be very crowded, especially during festivals or special events like Karthigai Deepam or full moon days., but also that early morning visits offer a more serene experience. Commonly mentioned engineering marvels of the temple, such as the massive stone construction and the mysterious shadow of the vimana and the spiritual energy of the place. You can pre-book just before 2-3 hours for darshan and can be booked both online and offline to avoid the long queues for darshan. Puja items are sold around the temple area.

Visited on week end. Too much crowded. Took around 5 hours to take the darshan. Finding car parking was difficult. Finally could able to park with the help of a auto drive around 800 meters away from Raja gopuram basically it's one of the entrance. Parking fee was Rs 80. I am not sure if this parking was really run by temple authority because it dint look so. Better to take Rs 50 entrance ticket to save some time. I was not aware that there is such facility. After the darshan we can buy sweet pongal and pulihogre for Rs. 10 each. Temple also sells laddus and other items priced Rs. 50 each.

Visited here during Pournami and did the Giripradakshina at night, starting around 12 AM and completing it by 6 AM. The crowd was massive, so after finishing the walk we took some rest in the morning as darshan was difficult due to the rush. Later in the afternoon, around 2 PM, we went for darshan and were able to complete it in just 30 minutes. The experience was peaceful and truly blissful — we really loved the place. Arulmigu Annamalaiyar (Arunachaleswarar) Temple in Tiruvannamalai is a major South Indian Shiva temple located at the foot of the sacred Arunachala Hill. Built by the early Cholas in the 9th century and expanded by later dynasties, it stands as a grand example of Dravidian architecture with many gopurams, mandapams, shrines, and temple tanks. The temple’s spiritual significance is highlighted in texts like Arunachala Puranam and Tiruppugazh, and Lord Shiva is believed to have manifested here as a self-born lingam under a magizha tree. Many saints, including Ramana Maharshi and Seshadri Swamigal, attained samadhi here. I visited today along with my friend, and the darshan was amazing. We spent nearly an hour in the temple after the darshan, and it filled us with a lot of positive energy. Please note: On Pradosham and auspicious days, the temple becomes highly crowded, and waiting time for darshan can range from 3 to more than 6 hours. Parking is also difficult, and you may have to park far from the temple and walk or take auto. If visiting with senior citizens, plan accordingly. Buying special dharshan ticket for Rs 50/- will help.. To avoid crowds, visit on non-festival days, non-auspicious days, and weekdays.

We visited Wonderla on Diwali, and while the experience was fantastic, be warned: the crowd was very high. The Good: The overall vibe is excellent, and the cleanliness and maintenance across the park are top-notch. The staff deserve a special mention; their response and behavior were very good, and they were professional and polite, even on a busy day. Must-Try Rides & Attractions: The variety of rides is superb! We loved the water section, especially the Rain Dance, Wave Pool, Mammoth, and all the water slides. For thrill-seekers, the Recoil coaster is a masterpiece. My personal favorites were Mission Interstellar and Recoil—they are must-do experiences! (A bonus: they provide videos and photos for some rides to capture the memories.) Important Tips for Visitors: Evening Highlight (Must Wait!): Be sure to stay until the end of the day for the incredible dance and music show! It’s the perfect, energetic finish to a thrilling day. Crowd Warning: I do not recommend visiting on weekends or major holidays like Diwali/Christmas unless you are prepared for extreme queues. Fast Track is Mandatory: If you must visit on a busy day, I strongly recommend getting the Fast Track tickets as they are the only way to avoid ridiculously long waiting times and enjoy all the rides. Food Costs: Be aware that the food and beverages inside the park are definitely on the higher side. Overall, Wonderla offers a fantastic, clean, and fun experience, provided you manage the crowds wisely!

One of the best amusement parks in the country. Some rides are really high on thrill and adrenaline rush, especially their roller coaster- recoil, the twister, maverik etc. You must not miss the newly added adventure ride- Interstellar which is an experience in itself. The giant wheel at the 13th floor gives the best view of the park and the city. The waterpark isn’t great but has some good water slides and rides you can try. For extra fun you can try the rain dance shows, & especially the wave pool with the dj is so much fun. The best part is they hae made a division in the pool with 2 sides, one for family, couple, women; and other for only men. The crew keeps a check that everyone follows the rules properly and behaves. Some things to keep in mind. Some rides can have queues in rush time, but its doable; as the fastrack tickets are double the cost and not worth it as you can still do all rides without it, just make sure you reach before noon and are there till atleast 6pm. Noone specifically checked the costume for waterpark, but carry appropriate material clothes to enjoy the most, or you’ll have t o buy them at 350 bucks. The locker costs 350 rs, with an additional 50 bucks of the magnetic key watch band. There are multiple food joints and options to eat from. You’ll also find souvenir shops. Wait till post the sunset to see the beauty of the park in lights. You can take certain buses plying to and back from the park to city. Overall its a great experience and a must go to atleast once if you are adventurous soul.

Fantastic Experience at Bangalore Amusement Park! I had an absolutely amazing time at Bangalore Amusement Park! The place is beautifully maintained, clean, and filled with thrilling rides for all age groups. From roller coasters to water rides, every attraction was well-managed and safe. The staff were courteous, helpful, and ensured everyone had a great experience. The food court had plenty of delicious options, and the overall ambiance made it a perfect day out with family and friends. The park is vibrant, fun, and definitely worth visiting again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excitement and entertainment in Bangalore! 🎢🎡🎠

Check offers before Booking! This place is really good for a day outing, don't start from the first ride, watch YouTube videos to see which one you don't wanna miss and be in queue for those in the start. First of all reach the place by 10 am to be aware of what to do, and how to go ahead. Normal queue Wait time is 30-70 minutes on each ride after 11:30. So decide wisely don't waste your time on not so worthy rides. We included three meals, it was a good decision so we didn't waste time deciding, what to eat. My recommendations at least include noon meal, so you can enjoy it and during the evening it will be your wish for what you wanna eat after rides. Take the longest hours, it's hardly the matter of 100-200/- rs but then after dinner also you may be able to do some fun rides if not water rides. Take the locker in advance or one of you may end up just looking after your stuff. Wear water rides approved clothing from the start , so you don't waste time changing clothes again and again. Wear rubber slippers/ crocs, it's easy for you to move around.

I recently went to Wonderla Bengaluru, and honestly, it was an amazing experience! One of the best amusement parks I’ve ever been to. The place is super clean, well maintained, and packed with rides that’ll give you both adrenaline rush and pure fun. The new Mission Interstellar ride totally blew my mind! It’s India’s first space themed ride and the huge screen makes you feel like you’re actually floating in space definitely a must-try. Apart from that, the high thrill rides like Recoil were just insane. The water park section was also great the slides, the wave pool, the lazy river everything was just perfect for cooling off and chilling. The staff were polite and helpful throughout the day, and the locker and changing facilities were neat and clean. I also liked the food options inside decent variety and not too overpriced, which was nice. Overall, I had an absolute blast here! Whether you’re going with friends, family, or your partner, Wonderla guarantees a full day of fun, thrill, and amazing memories. Totally worth it! 🙌

We recently visited *Wonderla Bangalore* with a group of four friends on a **Sunday weekend**, and it was an amazing experience! Since Wonderla was celebrating its **20th anniversary**, they had a special **Buy 2 Get 2 Free offer**, so the crowd was quite full — but the fun was totally worth it! The park is **very clean, green, and peaceful**, with a lot of energy and excitement all around. We enjoyed both **dry rides and water games** — each one gave us a thrill! The **rain dance** and **Rizal Coaster** were especially unforgettable and gave us real goosebumps. There are **lockers available**, and **drinking water** is easily accessible throughout the park, which is really convenient. Coming to **food**, the options are good and available at **reasonable prices**. Just one suggestion — avoid eating and then going for active water rides immediately, as it might cause a bit of discomfort. For **timings**: * Monday to Friday: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM * Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM In the **evening**, the **lighting and night atmosphere** make the place even more beautiful. **How to reach:** Reaching Wonderla is easy. The best way is to take the **metro to Challaghatta (last station)**, and from there, you can easily book a **cab or bike**. The route from Challaghatta is smooth and traffic-free, just about **7 km away**. Overall, it’s a **perfect destination to visit with friends or family**, especially in groups — the fun multiplies! If you love adventure, water rides, and vibrant energy, **Wonderla Bangalore is a must-visit!** 🎢💦🎉

This was my 3rd visit but first time with family and kids. Beautiful park, everyone should visit for fun. Weather was supportive so you could enjoy water games. There's new addition to the park - Mission Interstellar. It was mind blowing. Never experienced before. For all games there's 25% of people with Fast track priority passes are sent in. With Halloween passes, all land games can be played even between 7 pm to 10 pm while games for regular passes are closed by 6 pm. Park timings on weekends is 11 am to 7 pm. Everything is fine except Food. Its totally SCAM. If you buy buffet online vs offline, the prices are different. If you buy Buffet lunch at entrance is 419 while online and inside its 500+. Any food like Fried rice or Noodles with non/veg manchurian and large coke combination is 410/- when you can buy Buffet for same price. The quality of food is pathetic. After spending good time, we felt disappointed with food quality with menu options and with exorbitant prices. I have provided same feedback to ground staff to improve food. Hence reduced the overall ratings.

When we were planning a fun trip for our school children on the occasion of Children’s Day, the first place that came to our minds was Wonderla - a place we knew would bring them the most joy. Since our students come from the ashrama and study in a government-aided school, we reached out to Wonderla to request their support in making this day special. The Wonderla management responded with immense kindness. They wholeheartedly accepted our request and made it possible for more than 45 students to enjoy a fully sponsored day at the park. The children got to experience all the dry rides and water games, enjoying every moment with excitement and laughter. The team ensured personal care throughout the day, organised fun games exclusively for our kids, and treated them to delicious food - making the entire experience unforgettable. We, the teachers of Mahila Mandali Vidya Samaste Kannada Primary, extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Wonderla team for embracing our children with so much love and warmth. The joy, laughter, and memories you created for them will always be cherished. Your generous gesture will forever remain close to our hearts.

Bannerughatta Biological Park

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Bannerghatta Zoo, located near Bangalore, Karnataka, is a vast national reserve that offers a perfect dose of awe-inspiring moments for animal lovers. Established in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974, it has become famous for its close proximity to the city limits and serves as a biological and conservation reserve for animals. The park features a zoo, safari park, butterfly conservatory, animal rescue center, pet corner, aquarium, snake house and ancient temples for worship.
I visited Bannerghatta National Park about a month ago, and it turned out to be a really enjoyable experience. The place has a nice mix of things to do — the zoo, the butterfly park, and of course, the safari. The safari was the highlight for me. We got surprisingly close views of lions, tigers, bears, and herbivores in spacious enclosures that actually feel pretty close to their natural habitat. It’s exciting without being rushed, and you really get good photo moments. The butterfly park is calm and colorful — a perfect little break after the safari. The zoo is quite large with a good variety of animals and birds, though a few enclosures could definitely use better maintenance. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this place for families, kids, or anyone who wants a quick nature-and-wildlife getaway near the city. Just reach early, carry water, and keep a little patience — it makes the whole experience so much better.

A Great Day Out, But With Key Areas for Improvement Bannerghatta Biological Park offers a genuinely wonderful experience for wildlife lovers, making it a fantastic destination for a day trip. The park is vast, and many of the naturalized habitats for the local species are impressive and well-maintained. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, contributing to an overall positive atmosphere. However, a couple of significant issues prevented me from rating this as a perfect five-star experience. Firstly, I was disappointed that some of the highly anticipated major animals, notably the Lion and the Orangutan, were either absent or could not be found in their areas during our visit. This was a notable letdown for key species that many visitors hope to see. More importantly, I observed certain welfare concerns that I hope the park management addresses. Several animals appeared to be kept alone or with a very limited number of mates, which seemed sparse given their social nature. In a few cases, the enclosures seemed smaller than ideal, and I witnessed some animals exhibiting repetitive, stereotypic behaviors (pacing back and forth). This gave the distinct impression that they might be bored, stressed, or depressed due to the lack of space or social stimulation. Ensuring that all animals have adequate companionship and spacious, enriching enclosures is crucial for a park of this stature. Despite these issues, the overall variety of species and the natural beauty of the environment are undeniable. If the park could improve its exhibit list consistency and significantly upgrade the size and social conditions of the enclosures I mentioned, it would easily earn five stars.

Last week, I visited the Biological Zoo with my family. It was a very exciting and memorable trip. We saw many animals like lions, tigers, elephants, deer, giraffes and colorful birds. The best part of our visit was the safari. It was really thrilling to see the wild animals moving freely in the open area. We saw lions and tigers very closely from the safari bus and it felt like a real jungle adventure. The zoo was clean and well maintained. The staff guided us properly and we enjoyed taking many photos and videos together. It was a fun and educational experience for the whole family. I would love to visit again, especially for the safari ride.

Bannerghatta Biological Park is a great place for a family day out. The zoo is well-maintained, with a good variety of animals like lions, tigers, elephants, and reptiles. The safari experience is the highlight — you get to see animals roaming freely in a natural habitat, which feels exciting and safe. Better to pre book tge tickets through online from their official page. Also suggest to visit morning first slot.Walkways are clean, and there are plenty of resting spots and food stalls. Weekends can be crowded, so visiting early morning is best. Overall, a wonderful and educational place for kids and adults.

It was amazing experience we went in the noon at 2:30pm for safari and it was so lively experience and kid will really enjoy this. The safari takes 45min and its amazing experience and the zoo inside there are many caged animals snakes as well. Well maintained and hygienic. Be aware there are mosquitoes be cautioned while takings kids mainly

+ very well maintained + Safari in pre winter monsoon season was too good. All animals were in good mood and curious. Would suggest safari better than the zoo. Of course zoo is a must for reptiles, birds and other herbivores. + Animals well fed and taken care of. Would suggest visiting as soon as they open in the morning. Animals move to the shade in the afternoon.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting this biological park you’ve probably never seen so many animals in one place. The Bannerghatta Biological Park trail is about 2.2 km and takes at least 3 hours to complete. After that spend around 45 minutes at the Butterfly Park. It’s absolutely worth it with family or friends. There’s also a safari option though I didn’t opt for it you can check other reviews for that.
Chetan A — Google review
I recently visited Bannerghatta National Park, and honestly, it felt a bit overhyped. From the photos and reviews, I expected a proper wildlife experience, but in reality, it was more like an average zoo with a bus ride added in. We booked the safari bus since jeeps weren’t available, and that was fine — but the safari itself was quite disappointing. The entire 20–30 minute ride had barely 4–5 types of animals — deer, elephants, leopards, lions, and a small bear. It didn’t feel like we were in a natural habitat at all. The zones were just large fenced areas with a few animals each. For example, you start with deer and elephants, then after passing a gate you reach the leopard zone, where maybe 3–4 leopards can be seen resting near shelters. Same goes for lions and bears. It honestly felt like a zoo with a bus tour instead of walking. After the safari, we went to the zoo area, which was okay but again nothing great. There were only one or two animals of each species — a single giraffe, one tiger, one lion, etc. Variety was there, but it didn’t feel lively or well-maintained. The butterfly park was the best part of the entire visit. The entry fee was ₹50 per person, and it was worth it. The dome area filled with butterflies and greenery looked beautiful and peaceful — definitely the highlight of the day. Overall, Bannerghatta National Park is good for a one-time visit or a short family outing near Bangalore, but if you’re expecting a real safari or wildlife experience, you’ll probably be disappointed.

Nice place to visit. It is a place where you can feel the eternal peace. I visited during 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. and saw lighting, alongwith water sprayers. There is a small children park for sliding, swinging. You can sit, have snacks, can do shopping of Sri Sri branded products, and buy ayurvedic medicines with nadi pariksha. 3 to 4 hours is sufficient time to spend if you are going with with family.

HAPPINESS IS FREE. This is a factual review of my experience. First, I was treated with utmost love and respect and kindness by almost every staff member I met here (especially the ones serving the food!). The grounds are pretty, there is a large building being built and the traffic is not *too* loud. I was told I could stay in the accommodations for free and try a course, so I went to speak at the reception (I was also interested in volunteering). I had to fill out several forms and when I was done, I was informed the "Happiness course" was $440 USD. In the USA, that is a lot of money. In India, you could feed a family for a year. It's just a touristy cult/scam that I wouldn't ever return to or recommend to anyone.

Very nice place. We went here with team. The parking place is around 1km away from the spot. Need to walk through hills to teach the place. Kayaking and jumping around in the water was the most fun thing to do here. You will have to wear the life jacket through out though. Breakfast and lunch is alright. Good food. Over all very nice place for a team outing. They have the paintball too but the guns were out for repair that day. The place offers night camping too.

Very good place to spend a day's time with your team. You have to trek for 20 mins to reach the camp once vehicle is parked in the nearby village. The camp organizes a few team building activities and adventure activities like rope walking, kayaking and boating in manchanbele dam. But the fun part is that you are allowed to swim in the waters with a life jacket. They also serve decent Breakfast, lunch and tea/coffee snacks.

The main attraction of this place is water. been there for one day outing. Food is not at all good. But you will enjoy the day. Also location is beautiful 😍 .Rest room is too far and why there is no mirror?

Water sports activities are good but they have less boats now available and out of all boats few are not in good working condition, food was ok keeping in mind that place is far from normal living area, rappling was good, rope activities are also ok, staffs are polite, this place is mostly for adventure loving people rather than relax, dance, games(cricket, volleyball, paintball, etc) loving people. No paintball, and mud driving.

Nice place for team outing. Best part was swimming and kayaking in river. Other than that rope activities and team building activities were good. Food was ok. Avallaki in breakfast was smelly. Had to throw it as it is. Sambhar vada and idli was good. Reached there by private bus which we booked for our team. Bus was parked at some 1.5kms away from destination. Had to track to location from there. Since its an adventure camping zone so don't expect any air conditioning room or place to rest. Your whole day is going to be tiring. We started from Bangalore at 8 and reached there by 10.30. Evening we left at 5.30 and reached back by 8.30.

If your are ready for a 1km hike before you get to the place, then this place is for you. XtremeZone is not all that "Xtreme". The food was horrible. A local villager we talked to said that they prepare meals in a very unhygienic manner. The staff was somewhat helpful. The owners have no regards for customers though. Garden
Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bangalore is a historic and expansive garden that originated as a private royal garden spanning 40 acres. Initially designed in Mughal style, it was further developed by Tipu Sultan and later expanded by British and Indian horticulturists. The garden is renowned for its support of agriculture, conservation of plant species, and contribution to the advancement of cultivation.
Very nice Lalbagh is an absolute must-visit if you are in Bengaluru. It truly lives up to its name as the 'Lungs of the City.' The variety of trees and plants is staggering, and the layout is perfect for a long, relaxing walk. Highlights: The Glass House: It’s stunning architecture and makes for great photos. The Lake: Very peaceful to sit by, and I spotted quite a few birds. Cleanliness: The park is well-maintained despite being so popular. I recommend going early in the morning to beat the heat and the crowds. It’s a fantastic spot for photography or just disconnecting from the city traffic. Highly recommended!

A Calming Green Oasis in Bengaluru Lalbagh Botanical Garden offers a decent escape from the city hustle. I had an "OK" experience, largely thanks to the wonderfully calm and fresh environment. If you're looking for a spot with natural bird sounds to truly cool down and relax your mind, this place is highly recommended. It's a true "lung space" for Bengaluru. A major plus was the e-cycle ride, which is a fantastic way to cover the vast garden expanse. The rental seemed to have a flexible pricing, as I saw options for a short ride. I did a ride. We also caught the artificial waterfall near the lake, which operates on a fixed schedule. We saw it running from 6:00 PM to 6:15 PM. It adds a nice, serene touch to the lake area when it's on. My one major feeling was a slight lack of a "zoo" or large animal presence (apart from birds), which I missed—it felt more like a purely botanical experience rather than a nature park with diverse wildlife. However, for a botanical garden, all the basic amenities and facilities are well-maintained. Conclusion ; If you are in Bengaluru, it's definitely worth a visit for a peaceful, nature-filled break and a lovely walk or cycle ride.

Recently visited here — it’s a beautiful and refreshing place to connect with nature. The garden is huge, and it’s quite hard to cover the entire area within an hour. You’ll find ancient, massive trees and a wide variety of plant species, making it a paradise for nature lovers. The garden is well-maintained, with benches for sitting, trash bins placed throughout, and washroom and drinking water facilities available inside. There are also food stalls, a fountain area, and a poly house that add to the experience. The entry fee is ₹50 for adults and ₹20 for children. Plastic bottles are not allowed, which helps keep the place clean. I also visited the nursery, though it was closed due to a festive occasion. It’s a great spot for families, couples, or anyone looking for peace amidst greenery. The calm atmosphere and natural beauty truly make you feel one with nature. 🌿🌸

An Absolute Oasis of Tranquility and Beauty! Lalbagh Botanical Garden is more than just a garden; it's the green heart of Bangalore and a true breath of fresh air amidst the city's hustle. This is easily one of the most stunning botanical experiences I've ever had, deserving every one of its five stars. The sheer scale and diversity of the flora are breathtaking. You could spend hours wandering the perfectly manicured lawns and discovering exotic plant species. The iconic Glass House is a magnificent architectural marvel, especially when bathed in sunlight, and the massive Lalbagh Rock offers a fantastic view and a quiet spot for reflection. The maintenance is impeccable—everything is clean, well-labeled, and thoughtfully arranged. Whether you're a serious botanist, a photographer, or just someone looking for a peaceful escape, Lalbagh caters to all. It’s a perfect spot for morning walks, family picnics, or simply relaxing under the shade of ancient trees. Don't miss the flower shows if you time your visit right! Highly, highly recommended.

Lalbagh Botanical Garden is one of those rare places in Bangalore where time slows down and the city noise fades into the background. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed by lush greenery, towering trees, and beautifully maintained pathways that make every step feel refreshing. The star attraction, of course, is the iconic Glass House, which looks stunning whether you visit in the quiet mornings or during the flower shows. The variety of plants—from vibrant flowers to rare species—adds so much charm, and you can easily spend hours exploring different corners without even realizing it. What I love most is the peaceful vibe. Whether you're going for a morning walk, photography, or just a break from daily routine, Lalbagh never disappoints. The lake inside the garden is another calming spot, perfect for sitting by the water and watching birds. It can get slightly crowded on weekends, but the garden is big enough to always find a quiet nook for yourself. The entry fee is minimal, and the overall experience feels priceless compared to the serenity you get. Overall, Lalbagh Botanical Garden is a must-visit—beautiful, calming, and truly refreshing. A little green paradise right in the heart of Bangalore.

Cubbon Park, also known as Shri Chamarajendra Park, is a historic and expansive city park located in the heart of Bangalore. Established in 1870, it covers an impressive 300 acres of lush greenery and is often referred to as the "lungs of Bengaluru." The park features well-maintained walking paths, beautifully landscaped gardens, and play areas for visitors to enjoy.
This park is one of the most beautiful destinations to visit with family and friends. Spread across a vast area and shaded by thousands of lush green trees, it offers a refreshing escape from the city’s hustle and bustle. The serene environment makes it a perfect spot to spend an entire day relaxing and bonding with your loved ones. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities here — from playing outdoor games and indulging in painting to sitting under the trees with a good book. The cool breeze and natural beauty make it a perfect spot for morning or evening visits. Overall, it’s one of the best places in Bangalore to unwind and enjoy a bit of nature! 🌳✨

Recently, I visited Cubbon Park in Bangalore, and it turned out to be a refreshing escape from the city’s chaos. Spread across around 300 acres, this lush green paradise is truly the “lungs” of the city. The moment I entered, I was welcomed by tall trees, fresh air, and the sound of birds — a rare treat in a busy metro. The good part is definitely the peaceful atmosphere. You’ll see joggers, cyclists, families, and even pet lovers enjoying their time here. The park is clean and well-maintained, with plenty of benches to sit and relax. The State Central Library with its iconic red building inside the park adds a classic charm — perfect spot for photos. It’s also very safe and ideal for morning walks or evening strolls. However, there are a few downsides too. Parking can be a headache on weekends, and sometimes the park gets overcrowded. In a few corners, you might also spot people littering, which slightly ruins the beauty of the place. The park opens from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and I’d suggest the best time to visit is early morning between 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM — when it’s calm, less crowded, and the weather feels amazing. Overall, Cubbon Park is a must-visit for nature lovers, fitness enthusiasts, or anyone looking to take a break from Bangalore’s traffic and noise.

🌿 Sri Chamarajendra Park (Cubbon Park) – A Peaceful Morning Escape in the Heart of Bengaluru! 🌿 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I visited Sri Chamarajendra Park (ಶ್ರೀ ಚಾಮರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಉದ್ಯಾನವನ) early in the morning, and it was such a refreshing and peaceful experience. The air felt crisp, the surroundings were calm, and the chirping of birds created a serene atmosphere that made the walk truly rejuvenating. 🕊️ The park is beautifully maintained with lush green lawns, huge old trees providing shade, and wide walking trails perfect for a morning jog or stroll. 🌳 There were also a few playful and friendly dogs around, adding to the park’s lively charm. 🐶 What I loved most was how peaceful it felt despite being right in the center of the city — a perfect balance between nature and urban life. Whether you’re looking to start your day with some calm, spend quiet time amidst greenery, or just enjoy a slow walk with nature, Cubbon Park is the ideal spot. 🌸 ✅ Clean, spacious, pet-friendly, and full of positive energy — a must-visit for nature lovers in Bengaluru!

Such a peaceful place to spend your weekend with friends and family. You can see a lot of people there but still you will get that privacy for enjoying a good time with your baby or your loved ones. There are some do's and dont's mentioned in the front area like no outside food, no playing, no gathering of more than 20 people etc so read before you enter. No entrance fee. Paid parking is there.

The ISKCON temple in Bangalore, located in Rajaji Nagar, is a magnificent tribute to Lord Krishna. The temple was built on a 7-acre campus and took 6 years to complete. Designed by Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa, the architecture features a stunning 17-meter gold-plated flag post and 8.5-meter gold Kalash Shikaras. Situated on Hare Krishna Hill, the temple's Neo-Classical style blends modern amenities with traditional design.
ISKCON Temple in Bengaluru is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. The best part is the Harinaama Dwara — before entering the main temple, you take 108 steps, and before each step, you chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. It feels very pure and peaceful while doing that. Before entering the main temple of Shri Krishna, just take a moment to enjoy the breeze, calmness, and the amazing city view — it feels really soothing. The temple is clean and well managed with cloakrooms, shoe counters, and parking. There’s also a metro station that connects directly to the temple premises, which makes it easy to reach. While exiting, make sure to try the sweets — they’re very tasty and worth it. Overall, a wonderful and divine experience.

I’m from Tamil Nadu, and for almost 3 years I had a deep wish to visit the ISKCON Temple in Bangalore. Finally, life gave me the chance—and the moment I stepped in, it truly felt divine. The temple is beautiful, calm, and peaceful beyond words. The architecture, the chants, and the positive energy around make it a perfect place to find inner peace. The environment is very well maintained, and the devotees are humble and welcoming. You can feel a sense of calmness the moment you enter. It’s not just a temple—it’s an experience that touches your heart. 💫 Very beautiful and peaceful temple — everyone must visit this place at least once in their life. 🙏🤍😇

It was a truly mesmerising day when I decided to visit the ISKCON temple over the weekend. As I approached the temple, I could feel the spiritual energy enveloping the atmosphere, despite the crowd of devotees that had gathered. The intricate architecture of the white temple stood out beautifully against the blue sky, and the sounds of chanting filled the air, creating a serene yet lively ambience. Inside, the aroma of fresh flowers and incense wafted through the halls, enhancing the sacred experience. People of all ages were engaged in prayer and meditation, their faces reflecting a deep sense of peace and devotion. I found solace in the rhythmic chants and the uplifting energy that pervaded the space. The sense of community among the visitors was palpable, and I felt connected to something much larger than myself. It was a day filled with tranquillity and a profound sense of purity, making me grateful for the opportunity to be there.

Nice place to worship Lord Krishna. Very well connected with metro and Bengaluru buses. In temple, darshan facilities, food & water facilities are good. Overall very good arrangements, cleanliness and nice experience. Only thing is no special feeling. It's like visiting any other temple. Maybe because temple is surrounded by big buildings; so not giving that divine vibes where we tries to connect with God with peace.

I recently visited the ISKCON Temple in Bengaluru, and honestly, it left me feeling peaceful and refreshed in a way I didn’t expect. The moment you walk in, the calmness just hits you. The place is beautifully built, super clean, and has this soothing atmosphere that makes you slow down and breathe a little deeper. The sound of “Hare Krishna” chants playing continuously in the background creates such a positive vibe — it’s something you actually feel, not just hear. The evening aarti was easily the best part of my visit. Watching it in person, with the lights, music, and devotion in the air, felt incredibly grounding and comforting. The whole temple is very well managed, and the volunteers are genuinely kind and helpful — something you really appreciate when the place is this busy. There’s also a prasadam hall, a food court with really tasty sattvic food, and a nice little shop with books and souvenirs. Everything is neatly maintained and adds to the overall experience. If you’re in Bengaluru, I’d say this is definitely a place you shouldn’t miss. Whether you’re going for prayer, peace, or just to see something beautiful, you’ll walk out with a lighter heart and a calmer mind.

This place is serene and calm atmosphere to enlighten the spiritual experience within you. It is well connected with all public transport as it is located in the heart of the city. If you're driving a four wheeler then parking charges of 40 rupees collected. You shall easily spend an hour or three including the shopping of artifacts and other devotional items inside the temple premises. Multiple vaishnavaite deities are present here. Everything is maintained near and clean. An artificial waterfall and a lake add more charm to this place. This place is getting upgraded with more infrastructure as the construction is going on as well.

Wineries & Vineyards
Nestled at the foothills of Nandi Hills near Chikkaballapur, Grover Zampa Vineyards is a gem in India's wine landscape, established in 1988. This picturesque vineyard benefits from unique soil and climate conditions that nurture both local and international grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz. Visitors can embark on an enlightening tour led by knowledgeable guides who share insights into the intricate winemaking process.
Had a wonderful time at Grover Zampa Vineyards. If anyone is keen to learn the process of making wine, do visit. The tour included the process of wine making and tasting 6 different varieties of wine. Peaceful and calm place. 🍷

This place is situated near Nandi Hills. Great location and sceneries are really beautiful. We can do wine tasting here. If they have a system to check whether you are over 21+ for wine testing, it would have been a smooth process. Plan your visit during grapes season to see the grapes. Otherwise they will not allow. If you ask me the cost is more for just seeing the winery process. It is not a big area they are covering.

The food was excellent, perfectly complementing the wines. We absolutely loved the ambience—peaceful vineyard, a relaxed setting, and great hospitality. A must-visit for wine lovers and anyone looking for a perfect day out! 🍷✨

Shri Dakshina Kashi Vishwanatha Swamy Temple (Antaragange)

Hindu temple
Nature & Parks
Freshwater pool fed by an underground river network and found within a Hindu temple complex.
My visit to Shri Dakshina Kashi Vishwanatha Swamy Temple (Antaragange) was a memorable experience, with refreshing water features, a scenic ascent via steps lined with local food shops. The temple’s sacred pond, continuously fed by an underground spring emerging from a stone bull’s mouth, adds to its unique charm. Visitors can also explore the nearby caves and enjoy trekking opportunities, making it a perfect blend of spiritual and adventurous experiences. However, it’s advisable to be cautious of the numerous monkeys in the area and to secure belongings accordingly. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot for those seeking peace and natural beauty.❤️🧡
Goutham V — Google review
Visited the temple recently, the trek is a completely different part. The temple is uphill from the parking space, you have to climb steps to reach the temple. There are a lot of monkeys on the way eho take away stuff from your hand so be careful. The temple is serene and very peaceful the water from the nandi keeps flowing at a decent rate. It is a forest area and if you want to do the trek to antharagange hill you need to have prior online booking for the same. But yes can definitely just visit the temple spend time and enjoy, as that is accessible to everyone. Definitely worth visiting!

Had a wonderful experience here. The temple feels old and has great history. The trekking is easy to moderate. Views are good, you can shout from the top and hear your voice echo. It is good to take the guides to the caves, which are also splendid. It is advised not to go in monsoon. Overall this place is nice for a weekend adventure.

This is situated in Kolar, there are no entry fees for temple visit but if you wanted to do trekking then advance online booking you have to do. There is paid parking - For 2 Wheelers 20/- and for 4 wheelers 50/- (there is no time limit for parking and no additional charges). There are Steps while entering the temple and this is on top of the hill. "Be careful of Monkeys". They can snatch your bags or belongings. Monkeys are all from parking till the top of the hill. They will snatch your Prasadam outside of the temple darshana. You can feed some fruits or biscuits to monkeys but you must have a stick with you to protect your belongings from Monkeys. There are 2-3 street food stalls near parking. There is water falling all the time in the temple if you want to take that water to your home you have to carry your own empty bottles. Locals are taking that water. Shoes Stand is there on a hill a few steps before entering the temple. Not at all maintained.

Lord Shiva Temple and Antaragange cave trekking located in a same place. If people want to go for cave trekking they have to book the ticket in advance. Cost of 1 adult tickets comes closer to 490rs(Inc. GST) & kid ticket cost around 290. Trekking won't be a difficult, there's a 2 caves located, each cave we have to crawl(funny and amazing experience), small caves only hardly it'll take 30 minutes to complete the 2caves together. A place dedicated to Lord shiva with continuous flow of water from Nandi statue which is believed to originate from Kashi itself. Can have bath or carry that water in bottle with us. Monkeys are everywhere, so travel carefully. They will snatch anything from u. There are many stairs to reach the temple, may be more than 250. Stairs are comfortable to climb with resting places on either side. Temple place is peaceful, got darshana. Took us 45mins to complete our entire visit. Parking is available with 50rs charge for car. There is a gazebo and a government organised trekking zone for antargange caves in this place.

A beautiful place to visit and enjoy with children. The temple is at hill top and the path is having Nice views around. The temple deities Sri Viswanathar and Ammavaru are blessings to see and worshipped. Water is continuously pouring into the pond from hill top. Water falls can be enjoyed in rainy season. Trekking to the hill top caves is also there for enthusiasts. Lots of monkeys. Parking is at the downhill.
