Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, is a central place of worship for Sikhs worldwide. The temple is made of white marble covered in gold leaf and is surrounded by the Amritsar Sarovar, with a causeway called the Guru's Bridge leading to its entrance. Inside, devotees can find the Guru Granth Sahib, the holy scripture of Sikhism.
Our family visited Sri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara during 21 to 23 October 2025 Dipawali holidays Darshan. We stayed at Sri Guru Arian Devji Niwas, near campus. Due to the blessings of God, we took Darshan for 3 consecutive days, in a calm, tranquil, pious, religious atmosphere. We got Langar prasad. Hundreds of Sikh community bhakts were voluntarily providing their valuable services happily. It has a clean, peaceful, serene, excellent infrastructure facilities coupled with best human resources serving the devotees.

The Shri Harmandir Sahib, popularly known as the Golden Temple, is a spiritual and cultural beacon for Sikhs worldwide. Located in Amritsar, Punjab, India, it's a masterpiece of Sikh architecture, blending Indian and Islamic styles. The temple's gleaming gold dome and intricate marble work create a breathtaking sight, especially when illuminated at night. The sacred Amrit Sarovar pool surrounds the temple, symbolizing spiritual growth. As the holiest gurmukhā gurudwārā, it houses the Guru Granth Sahib, Sikhism's holy scripture. The temple's four entrances signify equality and openness, welcoming people from all walks of life.

Beautiful, humbling place. There was so much to experience from the Golden temple to the jora service to the langar service to the gold sewa workshop. The museums on-site are also there to serve as a reminder of the resilience that Sikhs have had to have to survive and become a large community. There are many gurudwaras and soravars (lakes) on-site to take amrat as well. To be able to sit under the trees that some of the Gurus had done so was also wonderful. A beautiful place to visit.
Piyush P — Google review
Visiting Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as the Golden Temple, was a truly divine and peaceful experience. The moment you step inside, the positive energy of the place surrounds you completely. The sight of the golden structure reflecting on the holy water is absolutely breathtaking, it feels serene and spiritual in every sense. The seva done by volunteers, from helping visitors to preparing and serving food in the langar, is truly inspiring. The langar experience itself is something everyone should have at least once, pure, and full of devotion. The entire temple complex is extremely well-maintained, clean, and beautifully organized despite the huge crowds. The pathway around the sarovar is peaceful for sitting or walking, especially in the early morning or late evening when the lighting makes it look magical. Overall, Sri Harmandir Sahib is not just a religious place but a symbol of peace, equality, and faith. No matter what your background is, you’ll feel a deep sense of spirituality here. A must-visit place that truly touches the heart.
Abhisek P — Google review
Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar, originally built by Guru Ram Das Ji, is a full-on serenity powerhouse. The entire space operates like a high-efficiency ecosystem — calm energy, timeless architecture, and a 24/7 langar that serves thousands with seamless execution. Many devotees believe that with the Guru’s blessings, even the toughest illnesses can find relief and healing here. Stepping inside feels like your mind gets a hard reset — clarity, balance, and a sense of collective harmony all in one place.

Good experience ❤️‍🩹 15 sites Sri Harmandir Sahib, widely known as the Golden Temple, is the holiest Gurdwara and the most significant pilgrimage site in Sikhism. Located in the heart of Amritsar, Punjab, it is a symbol of human brotherhood and equality, welcoming people of all castes, creeds, and races. Key Details Name Origin: "Harmandir" means "Temple of God" (Hari = God, Mandir = Temple), while "Sahib" denotes respect. The main temple structure is connected to the shore by a causeway. A unique architectural feature is its four entrances, symbolizing that the path to God is open to everyone from all directions.

A divine place. I have almost zero knowledge of Sikhism. But when I stand in th3 queue for 4 hours that is when I felt the presence different energy. I have been to Kashi, Ujjain and every where u have to stand in queue. A lot of pushing touching, but here people are standing together with families but with pure energy and devotion to "Guru"🙏

Harike Wetland

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Nestled about 55 km south of Amritsar, Harike Wetland stands as the largest wetland in Northern India and a vital bird sanctuary. This stunning area is formed by the confluence of the Sutlej and Beas rivers, creating a vast lake that teems with diverse wildlife, including migratory birds, local fish species, and unique plant life. Nature enthusiasts can immerse themselves in its beauty through guided boat tours or tranquil lakeside walks.
First of all this location is not accurate. This place is named Harike Wetland but if you see the map clearly this location has no river or water source nearby which shows the location is inaccurate. Actually Harike wetland is approx 25 to 30km away from this location. This location misguided me too once but i changed location to Harike Bird Sanctuary. For easy and precise navigation i would suggest searching for Harike Barrage(Indira Gandhi Canal) or Gurudwara Nanaksar Sahib in Harike which is approx 300 mt away from Harike wetland or Bird sanctuary. You can start the journey to this sanctuary from that Gurudwara. Regarding this place, its beautiful natural wetland, winters are the best time to visit when birds from europe migrate to India.

A must-visit near Amritsar!

About 55 km south of Amritsar, Harike is India’s largest wetland and a designated bird sanctuary. Created by the confluence of the Sutlej and Beas rivers, the vast lake supports abundant wildlife—migratory waterfowl, local fish species, and endemic flora. Visitors explore via guided boat rides and lakeside paths. It’s a paradise for birdwatchers, nature lovers and photographers, especially in winter when Siberian ducks, pelicans and cranes flock here. The landscape blends serenity with biodiversity, making it a major eco-tourism site near Amritsar.

During the winter months, it transforms into a hotspot for bird enthusiasts, drawing Siberian ducks, pelicans, and cranes. Very large area, I learned different topics of science there and also understand the basic structure and functioning of human body. It takes 5-6 hours to see all the things. Different topics are- Climate change, Laser show, Flight Simulator, Dome theatre and many more.

Nice place to visit. Particularly interesting for children. It is costly in terms of tickets and entertainement. But with the various activities, toy train, boating, shows, huge area, dinosaur park and children enjoyment, with paying the price. Some area was closed today but enough for the day. Normally they ask for package, you can take package which usually costs lower. There are many scenic area, if you like photography then I believe you should plan according for the day light or Sun light directions for best shots.

Set in a sprawling campus, the Pushpa Gujral Science City near Kapurthala is a beautiful place intended to kindle or stoke a scientific bent of mind in young and old alike. Don't miss the Sports Science Centre; it is indeed one of a kind. The Dino Park is interesting. There is enough to keep curious kids interested, especially the Fun and Games oriented exhibits and installations. This place can take an entire day, so plan accordingly.

A beautiful and peaceful temple with divine vibes. The place is very well maintained and the replicas of Amarnath and Vaishno Devi caves are impressive. Perfect for spiritual visits and family outings. Must visit during Navratri!
Rahul K — Google review
Devotion and Architecture: Nestled in Arya Nagar, Jalandhar, is a beautiful temple complex that serves as a spiritual haven. The serene environment, punctuated by the soothing sounds of bells and hymns, offers a welcome respite. The temple's landscape is dotted with various shrines dedicated to different deities, creating a harmonious and inclusive atmosphere for all visitors. The architectural style is a fascinating mix of traditional and contemporary elements. While the main structures have the classic tiered domes and spires typical of North Indian temple architecture, there are also modern, clean lines and polished marble surfaces that lend the complex a pristine look. A prominent feature is the impressive golden dome, which is a modern addition but reflects the traditional pyramidal shape of temple shikhara. Among the various deities enshrined here, a large statue of Lord Hanuman stands prominently, representing strength and devotion. The temple's interior is equally beautiful, with intricate carvings on the pillars and altars. The use of white marble gives the space a sense of purity and calm, enhancing the spiritual experience for all who enter. This temple complex is not just a place of worship but a cultural and architectural landmark. It beautifully merges ancient religious traditions with modern design, creating a space that is both historically significant and relevant to contemporary spiritual life. It's a place where you can find peace and feel a deep sense of connection.
Rizwan U — Google review
Very nice experience at the spiritual place. We stayed at the dharamshala inside the temple premises. For 900 rupees per day, we were given a big room with AC and geyser in the bathroom. Rooms were clean compared to other dharamshalas. It takes around 90 minutes to fully cover all places inside the temple. Mornings and evenings are the best time to visit the temple. It's a bit crowded in the evening. Staying in Dharamshala was a great experience as we can visit the temple any number of times effortlessly. The management personnel were very helpful.

Nakodar. Na koi Aisa Dar. It’s a very divine and a peaceful shrine of Dera Baba Murad Shah Ji and Baba Laddi Shah Ji. One can come and have some peace here. The Dargah premise is very massive in size and it’s so beautiful. The role of management is commendable as the Dargah and its inner surroundings are very clean and very well maintained. Also, don’t forget to buy most famous Besan Barfi from here. It’s so tasty, less sugary and the quality is just awesome. Washrooms are so hygienic and tidy just like International Airports or Shopping Malls. Here, no one runs behind you to make you pay for Dharshan and getting blessings of Nakodar Darbar. The pond behind this Dargah is one of the most cleaned and beautiful pond I have ever seen in my life. The water is so clean and the palm trees surrounding it is just so scenic and amazing. This is a divine place. Please do come and get all your pains and sufferings removed at Darbar. Highly recommended👍👍👍👍🙏👌👌🤎🤎Jai Mastan Di.

The thali was good however there was no fresh safed makhan or makki ka roti or even gulab jamun. The chai was poor because there was no option for no sugar the ladies who made the parantha were never listening to my grandmother who is seventy years old and kept giving her rotis not fresh tawa ka parantha. And the dancing was great however the music is deafening. However the kulfi, dhai Bhalla were amazing, the magic show was great however the chuski was too sweet, I would not recommend bringing the elderly to eat the snacks as it was way too sweet. In the whole Havel was good however this rangale punjab was poor as they didn’t have that many Punjabi food

Great place to enjoy evening. Staff is very nice and food at stalls and main room was awesome. Everything we tasted was superb. It’s an entertainment for family of all ages. Only problem was with astrologer who seems to be a fraud….. used a same old story which frauds use to extract money from you by scaring you. Locatuon is good right at the highway. Inside atmosphere is good but areawise is not so big. Cultural programme is great. Punjab old cluture is displayed everywhere which is good to see if you have come for the first time Inside a big restaurant is there which is included in the entry ticket but frankly I didnt like the food inside and the biggest reason is - We had so many small meals/ food around the restaurant ( stalls everywhere like chaat, candys, ice cream etc) inside and we got full and there is no place left for the dinner. We suggest you to have the fresh baked roti with makkahn and chutney stall and enjoy other small meals ( chaat, pani puri, candys, ice cream kulfi, aam panna jaggery tea etc.), for diner you can opt after sometime post your digestion. Evrything is included in the entry ticket. Overall I feel the entry ticket 1000 is over priced as the place is not so big and also the food option is limited. One time visit is good.

My recent visit to Gurudwara Nanaksar Kaleeran Sahib was a deeply spiritual and peaceful experience. Surrounded by lush green fields and calm countryside air, this sacred place holds a unique aura of serenity and divine connection. As soon as I stepped inside the Gurudwara premises, I felt an overwhelming sense of calmness and purity. The melodious kirtan (hymns) being sung by the ragis created an atmosphere that touched the soul and helped quiet the mind. The architecture of the Gurudwara is beautiful — simple yet grand, reflecting traditional Sikh design with its white marble and golden dome. The premises were immaculately clean and well-maintained, showing the dedication of the sewadars who serve here with true devotion. The experience was further elevated when I received the Hukamnama Sahib, the divine order of the day, which felt personally guiding and deeply meaningful. I’ve attached the image of the Hukamnama as a cherished reminder of the spiritual wisdom received that day. The Langar (community meal), as always, was a symbol of equality and kindness — prepared and served with love, reminding us of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings of seva (selfless service) and vand chakna (sharing with others). Overall, my visit to Nanaksar Kaleeran Sahib was more than just a trip — it was a soulful experience that renewed faith, brought peace, and filled the heart with gratitude. A truly divine place that every devotee should visit. 🙏✨ #GurudwaraNanaksarKaleeran #Hukamnama #Faith #Peace #Sikhism #Seva #SpiritualJourney

The Gurudwara was established by Baba Nand Singh Ji for the social welfare of the Sikh community. They wanted to spread the message of our all 10 Guru's through our Holy book Gurugarnth Sahib. Moreover, whenever you will visit here you will find artificial Tigers & Lions everywhere, the reason behind the wild animals used to come here to listen the Gurubani and train frequently stopped nearby railways line without any stopage ( locals beliefs). Mesmerizing...!!

Hardy’s World is a delightful escape for anyone looking to beat the heat or simply have a day filled with fun and adventure. Nestled on the outskirts of Ludhiana, this water and amusement park offers a lively mix of attractions that cater to both thrill-seekers and families with young kids. The water park section is a refreshing highlight, with wave pools, splash zones, and twisting water slides that offer just the right amount of adrenaline without being overwhelming. It’s especially enjoyable during the scorching summer months when the cool water and vibrant energy make it feel like a mini vacation. On the amusement side, the rides range from classic favorites like the roller coaster and giant wheel to more kid-friendly options that keep the little ones engaged. The park’s atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed, with decent food options scattered throughout—think chaat, ice cream, and quick bites that keep you fueled for the day. While it may not match the scale or polish of international parks, there’s a certain charm in its local flavor, friendly staff, and affordable pricing that makes it accessible for most. Cleanliness and maintenance could use a bit more consistency, but the overall experience still feels worthwhile. Whether you’re visiting with family, friends, or just want a break from the everyday grind, Hardy’s World provides a satisfying dose of joy, laughter, and splashy memories that stick with you long after you’ve dried off. It’s not perfect, but it sure knows how to show you a good time.

Best time to visit is during day in winters and evenings in summers. General cleanliness of the park is good. It's a good place to bring kids as the park holds good amount of playbees for them (on a payment though) . Best amongst them is the rent a bicycle, where one can hire a bike for self and the kids too and ride it on the bike track inside the park. There is a place which houses the eats, reasonably priced (vegetarian only). Hygiene along with taste including variety would be rated at 7/10.

This was a very spiritually uplifting Gurudwara to visit. The Gurudwara is very well managed and meticulously maintained. Everything was perfect. The upstairs of the Gurudwara has the Darbar hall as well as historic weapons of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji (Sri Sahib and Katar) while the downstairs has horse prints of Guru Sahib’s horse. The Gurudwara offers langar, a travellers hostel (200RS per night for very basic accommodation) as well as langar and free parking. A true blessing to visit.

Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji came to this place 4 times. After winning the Battle of Bhangani on his way back to Anandpur Sahib, via Gurdwara Sri Baoli Sahib Dhakauli and Gurdwara Sri Nadha Sahib Panchkula, Guru Gobind Singh arrived here. At the time a bhatha (kiln) was situated. It was burning at full capacity. Guru Ji asked the bhatha labourers about a place he could rest. Knowingly or unknowningly the labourers pointed towards the bhatha. Guru Ji directed his horse (Neela) to step on the extremely hot kiln. At once the bhatha cooled down and Guru Ji's horse hoof left a mark (a hoof print which can be seen at the Gurdwara). One of the labourers informed Chaudhary Nihang Khan, the owner of the bhatha, who was in his Qila at the time. He rushed to the bhatha and to his astonishment saw Guru Gobind Singh sitting on the bhatha. Chaudhary bowed his head in front of the Guru and asked for a pardon. Chaudhary then took Guru Ji to his fort. On the following day, Guru Gobind Singh and his Singhs proceeded to Anandpur. During Guru Gobind Singh's second visit, Guru Ji came to this place for the engagement of Alam Khan, Chaudary Nihang Khan's son. On Guru Gobind Singh's return from Kurukshetra, Guru Ji stopped here for his third visit. After Guru Gobind Singh left Anandpur for the final time, Guru stopped here for his forth and final visit. He asked Nihang Khan to look after Bhai Bachittar Singh as Bhai Ji had been mortally wounded. As a huge mughal force was chasing Guru Ji, he left. But before leaving, Guru Ji provided Nihang Khan with a Sri Sahib, a katar and a shield. The items can be viewed at the Gurdwara and Bhai Bachittar Singh's shastaars can be viewed at Gurdwara Sri Shaheed Ganj Bhai Bachittar Singh in Kotla Nihang, Ropar. Prakash Diwas of 1st, 5th and 10th Patshahi, Sangrand with Amrit Sanchar, Jor Mela from 1st Poh to 4th Poh and the anniversary of Baba Jiwan Singh Ji on 11th are organised here.

I visited Sukhna Lake in Chandigarh early morning recently, and it was a refreshing experience! This man-made lake, built in 1958 by Le Corbusier’s team, is a serene spot with calm waters reflecting the Shivalik hills. The early morning vibe was magical—cool air, chirping birds, and a stunning sunrise painting the sky. The walking path was perfect for a peaceful stroll, and I loved watching locals jogging and practicing yoga. The nearby café served tasty snacks, adding to the charm. However, some areas had litter, which slightly detracted from the beauty. Also, more benches would’ve been nice for resting. Despite these, Sukhna Lake’s tranquility and scenic views make it a lovely spot to start the day in Chandigarh.

A Serene Escape and the Jewel of Chandigarh! During my visit to Chandigarh for the ISRT meeting this September, a trip to Sukhna Lake was the perfect way to unwind. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the incredible sense of peace and tranquility. The lake itself is beautiful, with placid waters shimmering against the stunning backdrop of the distant Shivalik Hills. A leisurely stroll along the clean, wide promenade was so refreshing and offered a wonderful escape from the city's hustle. The atmosphere was calm and rejuvenating, and I could see why it's such a beloved spot for locals and tourists alike. Sukhna Lake is truly the jewel of Chandigarh. It was a highlight of my trip and is an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a moment of peace and natural beauty

I have been visiting this place and it remains an incredible destination to relax and reconnect with nature. Sukhna Lake, a serene reservoir at the foothills of the Shivalik Hills in the Himalayas, is an integral part of Chandigarh’s planned cityscape. Even today, it stands as one of India’s most famous artificial lakes and planned city, offering a tranquil experience with still waters. Nestled at the forefront of Sector 1, the lake is surrounded by lush forests and sits adjacent to the governor’s residences of both states. The morning sunshine here is truly mesmerizing, creating a magical aura for early risers. Joggers, walkers, and yoga enthusiasts find their perfect spot along the lake’s edge to embrace the refreshing start of the day.

Online on the place's overview there were pictures of swimming pool but on booking even the best room here that is the super deluxe room, we did not get access to swimming pool. They said it is not a part of this property. They also said that the swimming pool is present only in moksha that is a 5 star place. And that we cannot have access to that even after paying. Scam!

They didn't let us eat because we reached there by car and not by ropeway. Even after requesting them to let us atleast eat something because we have been traveling for last 3 hours they refused and asked us to go immediately. Apparently their ropeway business is more important than the customers. A very very very bad experience.

We had booked valley view room with balcony to enjoy the scenery. But we were unable to do so because of the monkey menice. There were monkeys all the time in the balcony making it inaccessible for us. And to further add to nuisance they even littered the balcony and most of our time was spent in shooing them away from inside the room. Once they even tried to enter the room and take away eatables. All the hotel staff did was give us a stick and we had to stay on high alert the entire time. Poor maintainence by the hotel. This is not what were there for.

The gurudwara has a large holy pond (sarovar), and it is believed that taking a dip in it can heal illnesses and remove pain. The building is beautiful and well-maintained. The atmosphere is calm and spiritual, and the sound of prayers (Gurbani) gives a feeling of peace. The langar (free community meal) is served to all visitors with love and respect, showing the true spirit of equality and service. Cleanliness is well taken care of, and the staff and volunteers are kind and helpful. There is enough space for parking, and it is easy for elderly people to move around. Overall, it is a must-visit place if you are in Patiala. It brings peace to the heart and mind.

A lovely Gurudwara with a wonderful belief attached to it linked to the 9th Guru - that those who visit, pray and take a dip in the pond with a pure heart can alleviate suffering.

Very faithful and peaceful and beautiful palace. Spiritual healing and peace are the properties of the Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib, one of the most revered Gurudwaras in Punjab. Located in Lehal, a part of Patiala, it is famous for its curing properties for any ailments that anyone may be suffering from. Visitors have faith in abluting in the holy water of the pond here, because of its healing qualities. Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib's origin is tied to a villager named Bhag Ram from Lehal, who sought the blessings of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji to end a mysterious plague afflicting the area. In January 1672, the Guru visited Lehal, spending time by the village pond, preaching and meditating under a banyan tree. His presence and meditation led to the plague's eradication. Consequently, the site where Guru Ji meditated came to be known as Dukhnivaran, meaning "the end of all sufferings", and this name was given to the Gurudwara. Between 1748 and 1782, Raja Amar Singh of Patiala established a garden in honour of Guru Tegh Bahadur's special visit, entrusting its care to Nihang Sikhs. Court records from 1870 mention a garden belonging to the Guru and a well, used by the Nihangs. In 1920, plans to build a railway line threatened the banyan tree where Guru Tegh Bahadur had sat, but workers refused to cut it down. Consequently, Maharaja Bhupinder Singh cancelled the project. Although a Gurudwara had not yet been built, a committee was formed in 1930 to raise funds and begin construction. Twelve years later, in 1942, the building was completed under the supervision of Maharaja Yadavindra Singh, a devout Sikh. True to its name, Gurudwara Dukhnivaran Sahib is believed to alleviate grief for those who visit with a pure heart and offer sincere prayers.

Gurdwara Shri Dukh Nivaran Sahib is not just a religious site; it's an oasis of profound peace and spiritual solace. From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere envelops you in a sense of calm and serenity. The architecture is stunningly beautiful, with the gleaming white marble and gold domes creating a majestic yet welcoming sight. The complex is incredibly well-maintained, with spotlessly clean premises and beautifully landscaped gardens that invite quiet contemplation. The highlight, as the name suggests ('Dukh Nivaran' meaning 'Eraser of Sorrows'), is the peaceful and uplifting energy of the main sanctum. Listening to the continuous recitation of Gurbani (Guru's hymns) is a heart-touching experience that feels truly liberating. The Langar (community kitchen) is run with immense dedication and selfless service (Seva). The food is simple, delicious, and served with so much love and warmth, embodying the core Sikh principle of equality and community. Whether you are seeking spiritual blessings, historical knowledge, or simply a quiet place to find inner peace, this Gurdwara is a must-visit. The volunteers and staff are helpful and humble. An absolutely unforgettable experience that stays with you long after you've left. Highly recommended for everyone.

“LUNGS OF PATIALA” This monicker perfectly describes Baradari Garden in Patiala. Huge open green, peaceful place for morning and evening walks. Added attraction is the chirping of birds which has just about gone extinct in our concrete jungle of the city. Hugely popular for songs and film shoots of Pollywood and Bollywood. You can find innumerable species of flora in the vast space. As the name suggests this garden had 12 entrances. Parking available at many entrances. Rides and games available for children. Hugely popular in Sunday’s’ and holidays. Open air gym is also very popular with all age groups. But it needs regular maintenance. Some of the equipment are not in proper working order. Cafeteria and clean toilets available. Must visit place in the summers. There is a marked difference in atmospheric temperature as you enter this garden

A must-visit for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and find peace. Perfect for a stroll, picnic, or simply soaking in the serenity."

This evocative monicker perfectly encapsulates the essence of Baradari Garden, a true gem located in the heart of Patiala. This expansive green oasis offers a serene and tranquil environment, making it an ideal spot for morning and evening walks. As you stroll through the lush pathways, you are greeted by the delightful chirping of birds, a sound that has become increasingly rare in our modern concrete jungle. This garden serves as a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Baradari Garden is not only a haven for nature lovers but also a popular destination for filmmakers, frequently hosting songs and film shoots from both Pollywood and Bollywood. The garden is home to a diverse array of flora, showcasing countless species that thrive in its vast expanse. True to its name, the garden boasts twelve entrances, making it easily accessible from various points. Ample parking is available at many of these entrances, ensuring convenience for visitors. Families will find plenty of entertainment options, as the garden features rides and games that are particularly popular on Sundays and holidays, drawing crowds of children eager for fun. For fitness enthusiasts, the open-air gym is a major attraction, catering to individuals of all age groups. However, it is worth noting that the gym equipment requires regular maintenance, as some pieces are not in optimal working condition. Visitors can also enjoy the on-site cafeteria and clean restroom facilities, adding to the overall experience. A visit to Baradari Garden during the summer months is highly recommended, as you will notice a significant drop in temperature as you step into this lush sanctuary, making it a perfect retreat from the heat

Shri Kali Devi Mandir, a Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Kali, was constructed by Sikh Maharaja Bhupinder Singh in 1936. It is a highly revered religious site that remains bustling throughout the day with devotees seeking blessings from Maa Kali and hoping for their wishes to be fulfilled. Situated in Patiala, this must-visit temple boasts of new infrastructure and a well-maintained parking area.
We visited the temple on a Sunday and believe me it was too crowded. We don't get to see the deity properly as the priests will literally push you away. Frankly speaking, cleanliness of the surroundings of the temple needs to be worked on...it was littered with garlands, wine bottles and Puja items. If these things are not allowed inside the temple..then it must be restricted.

Gurudwara Sri Manji (Baoli) Sahib Ji is a stunning Sikh temple adorned with gilded domes and intricately designed marble prayer halls, set within a spacious colonnaded courtyard. This sacred site marks the location where the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind, took refuge during his journey to meet Emperor Jahangir. Nestled along G.T.
The Gurudwara Manji Sahib was built on the site where the sixth Guru stayed during his visit to Ambala city. The main Gurudwara building is on G.T. Road (Shershah Suri Marg). Devotees come to this pilgrimage site to take a dip in the nearby pond. They also take nectar from the stepwell built by the sixth Guru during his stay here. Gurdwara Baoli Sahib or Gurdwara Manji Sahib – It is said that Guru Hargobind stayed here on his way to meet Emperor Jahangir. Villagers of nearby Khurrampur Majri complained of a chronic shortage of drinking water. The Guru encouraged them to dig a stepwell and ordered some of the Sikhs living there to help the villagers dig the stepwell and bridge it. On returning from Delhi, the Guru was happy to see that the work was completed. The Sikhs established a memorial platform, the Manji Sahib, at the place where the Guru lived near Baoli.

Very calm and serene place. Visited this place during my SSC exam. The place is beautiful especially at night. There's a pond behind the main Gurudwara which is lovely. They have good room facility to stay at night. Only 300 for a night. Rooms are spacious and they are also clean as well. Although the top most rooms can feel a little hot in summer. But it's the ideal place to stay if you are going for an exam.

Place is well maintained. It reminds the period of mahabharat war and when Arjun refused to fight against his relatives, Loard krishna told him to fight as his karma and not to seek the fate of war because everything that happens is as per the wishes of bhagvan krishna.

Brahma Sarovar, located in Thanesar, is a significant Hindu water pool surrounded by sculptures and temples. It is a historic site that has been mentioned by the 12th-century scholar Al Beruni in his memoirs about India. The sarovar attracts pilgrims, especially during solar eclipses when it is believed that taking a dip in its waters can absolve one of all sins.
A place with religious significance. It is believed that Lord Brahma performed a yajna here in which all demigods participated and since then this place is called Brahma Sarovar. A well maintained place. Lot of locals come here for morning and evening walks. There is a Hanuman ji temple outside the premise and Shiva temple inside along with Maa Katyayni temple and some other temples too. Very peaceful and serene place. In the evenings aarti is performed at the sarovar, just like Ganga aarti. We couldn’t attend the full aarti as a huge storm suddenly brewed up in Kurukshetra at the time of aarti. There are many incidents marked on the pillars which have sone relevance to Kurukshetra. I loved the place and it’s upkeep.

I had the chance to visit Brahma Sarovar in January this year, and it was truly a beautiful and peaceful experience. The place holds immense historical and spiritual significance, yet it’s surprisingly less known among tourists. The energy here is something you feel the moment you step in. Brahma Sarovar in Kurukshetra is an absolutely breathtaking place, blending natural beauty with spiritual tranquility. The vastness of the area is the first thing that strikes you—spanning across acres of land, it offers a serene and peaceful environment perfect for relaxation and reflection. The large ponds that fill the Sarovar are equally impressive, but dirty waters. One of the most memorable experiences here is the evening Aarti. The atmosphere during the Aarti is nothing short of magical—the sounds of devotional chants and the fragrance of incense fill the air, while the setting sun casts a golden hue over the entire area. It's a truly spiritual experience that brings a deep sense of peace to anyone who takes part in it. The sight of graceful swans gliding across the water adds an extra layer of charm to the place. Watching them move in harmony with the water is both mesmerizing and soothing. Whether you're a spiritual seeker, nature lover, or simply looking for a peaceful spot to unwind, Brahma Sarovar is the perfect destination. The combination of its natural beauty, spiritual energy, and the peaceful ambiance makes Brahma Sarovar a must-visit when in Kurukshetra. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a meaningful and peaceful experience!

The history of Kalandar Peer in Panipat revolves around the revered Sufi saint Sheikh Sharfuddin Bu Ali Shah Qalandar Panipati, also known as Bu Ali Qalandar. Here's a summary of his life and the history associated with his shrine: Life of Bu Ali Qalandar: * Birth: Estimates vary, with some accounts placing his birth around 1209 CE in Panipat, Haryana, India. However, an inscription on his tomb suggests his birthplace was Ganja in present-day Azerbaijan. * Lineage: His father, Sheikh Fakhar Uddin, was a renowned scholar and saint, believed to be a descendant of Imam Abu Hanifa. * Education: Bu Ali Qalandar completed his studies at a young age and taught near the Qutub Minar in Delhi for about 20 years. * Spiritual Journey: He is associated with the Chishti and Owaisi Sufi orders. Legends describe periods of intense devotion and spiritual experiences that led to him being bestowed the title "Bu Ali" (Fragrance of Ali). * Qalandar: He embraced the Qalandar way of life, a distinct branch of Sufism characterized by their detached and often wandering lifestyle. * Literary Work: He authored a collection of Persian poetry called "Diwan Hazrat Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Qalandar," a significant work in Sufi literature. * Demise: He passed away in Panipat around 1324 CE. The Dargah (Shrine): * Construction: The dargah, mosque, and enclosure at Kalandar Chowk in Panipat were built by Mahabat Khan, a general during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Jahangir. Mahabat Khan's own tomb is located adjacent to the saint's mausoleum. * Significance: The tomb of Bu Ali Shah Qalandar is a highly respected pilgrimage site for people of all faiths. It is seen as a symbol of faith, harmony, and integrity. * Features: The dargah complex also houses the tombs of Hakim Mukaram Khan and Maulana Altaf Hussain Ali, a prominent Urdu poet. The left wall of the mausoleum has a Qasida (panegyric) inscribed in blue and gold, written by Zahuri Neishabouri. * Urs Mela: An annual Urs Mela (fair) is held at the dargah, attracting devotees from across the country. * Qawwali: Regular Qawwali (Sufi devotional singing) festivals are organized at the shrine. * Syncretic Tradition: Every Thursday, people from various religions gather at the dargah to offer prayers, highlighting the syncretic traditions of the region. The dargah of Bu Ali Shah Qalandar stands as a testament to the saint's enduring legacy and continues to be a significant spiritual and cultural landmark in Panipat.

Peaceful serene spiritual and religious place. The tomb is around 700 years old and constructed by Mahabat Khan, a general in the service of Mughal emperor Jehangir, in the honor of the sufi saint of Chishti order. Devotees irrespective of caste and religion can be seen thronging to pay respect.

The Dargah of Hazrat Bu Ali Shah Qalandar in Panipat, Haryana, is a revered Sufi shrine dedicated to Shaykh Sharfuddin Bu Ali Qalandar Panipati (1209–1324 CE), a prominent saint of the Chishti order. Born in Panipat, he was a renowned scholar who taught near Delhi's Qutub Minar for two decades before embracing a life of spiritual devotion. His Persian poetry collection, Diwan Hazrat Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Qalandar, remains influential in Sufi literature. The mausoleum, constructed by Mughal general Mahabat Khan during Emperor Jahangir's reign, showcases exquisite Mughal architecture, including a blue and gold qasida (panegyric) inscribed by Persian poet Zahuri Neishabouri. Adjacent to the saint's tomb are the graves of Hakim Mukaram Khan and Urdu poet Maulana Altaf Hussain Hali. The shrine is a hub of interfaith harmony, attracting devotees from various religions, especially on Thursdays and during the annual Urs Mela, which features qawwali performances and communal meals. Located near Panipat Junction railway station, the dargah is easily accessible and stands as a testament to India's rich spiritual heritage. To delve deeper into the teachings and legacy of Hazrat Bu Ali Shah Qalandar, consider exploring his poetic works. The Deewan-e-Shah Bu Ali Qalandar is available in both hardbound and paperback editions, offering insights into his spiritual philosophy. For a broader perspective on Sufi traditions, We Are Lovers of the Qalandar provides a comprehensive overview. Hazrat Bu Ali Shah's Dargah is a very peaceful place in Panipat. It is a shrine place situated in heart of Panipat. It is easily accessible from Panipat bus stand and from so many major places in Panipat. One can go here for extreme peace of mind and happiness. Bu Ali Shah's Dargah is not much crowded like shrine places in Delhi especially Hazrat Nizamuddin Aulia Dargah and Qutubuddin Sahab Dargah. At Bu Ali Shah Dargah you feel the real peace of mind it is one of the best place far from city's Hustle Bustle life and stress. If you want some relaxation without hole in your pocket then it is the best religious place go here at least once in Life

Jurasik Park Inn

Water park
Outdoor Activities
Theme Parks
Zipline & Aerial Adventure Parks
I recently visited Jurassic Water Park in Sonipat with my group of friends, and it turned out to be one of the most enjoyable outings we’ve had in a long time. The park truly lives up to its name — the dinosaur-themed surroundings, lush greenery, and well-maintained rides make it a perfect getaway for both fun and relaxation. We spent the entire day there and didn’t feel bored even for a moment. The water slides and wave pool were the main highlights. Each ride offered a different thrill level, from high-speed slides for adventure lovers to gentle ones for those who just wanted to relax. The wave pool and rain dance area were also big hits with our group. The music and DJ added a lively vibe, and everyone enjoyed dancing under the sprinklers. One thing that stood out was the behavior of the staff — they were polite, friendly, and always ready to help. They ensured everyone’s safety and maintained cleanliness around the pools and sitting areas. The food court offered a decent variety of snacks and drinks at reasonable prices. Overall, our experience at Jurassic Water Park was fantastic. It’s a great destination for families, friends, or school groups looking to spend a fun-filled and refreshing day. We loved it and would definitely love to visit again!

Jurasik Park Inn – Honest Review I recently visited Jurasik Park Inn, and overall, it was a pretty average experience. Water rides were okay — nothing too exciting, and honestly, not well maintained. The pools were basic and lacked proper hygiene, which was a big letdown. We already had our own swimming shorts, but they still didn’t allow us entry without renting their own, which felt unnecessary and inconvenient. Food options were very limited, and whatever was available was overpriced for the quality. Definitely not value for money in that department. We bought our tickets via voucher deals at ₹650 per person, which was still manageable. But if we had paid the regular ₹999 per person, it would not have felt worth it at all. The parking area was spacious and well-managed — probably one of the few things that were truly good. Coming to safety and enjoyment — many rides seemed more risky than fun. Injuries felt more likely than thrills, and while the amusement rides were slightly better, some of them required extra charges, which was disappointing. In short, it’s an Average park — fine if you're getting a discounted deal and just want to spend a casual day out, but don’t expect anything too exciting or well-organized.

I had an amazing experience at Jurasik Park Inn. The amusement rides were thrilling and well-maintained, offering excitement for all age groups. The water park was equally impressive, with clean pools, exciting slides, and plenty of shaded areas to relax between rides. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable day full of fun and adventure!

It's good but hygiene can be maintain. There was foul smell in water and no wave in pool area. They have water park first and amusement park in in back side. After using water park you can't use amusement park rides so it will get waste. Limited rides. Time being ticket price is good. Rides are good!

Disappointing experience >Online tickets are useless, as we still have to take a counter ticket and entry bands and there is no seperate queue for those who have online tickets. >They don't even allow a water bottle inside..it's a full-on money making system inside. >It's a waste for a toddler parents. Because In kids slides adults are not allowed. And in adults slides kids are not allowed. >In the food area they have kept coolers.. Ofcourse because they are making money. But, in the waiting areas indoors/ outdoors...NO COOLERS..not even fan. > I was there till 3 pm, the rides for kids were not functional till that time. >The staff was not supportive and cooperative..at times they were rude too. > Child ticket is only applicable if a child is 4 feet or less. But if it's plus 1 or 2 inch, they will consider it under adult. Which is so foolish. > People from near by places can think of going to this place..but people travelling from noida/delhi and other far locations must think twice.

The MR. CHEF INTERNATIONAL fast food restaurant is a trendy and popular spot for people in the area. The eatery offers a wide variety of food, including sandwiches, momos, shakes, and other fast food items. It's also home to a standing-room-only kiosk that features amusement park attractions like rides and games. The prices are good, and the quantity is ample.
Nice place to go have some good time spend with your friends. You can shop here. Sit in pizza huts or McDonald or can go to scary house kr mirror maze. You can also go to adventure island. Boat riding is also available here (not sure about this as earlier it was available only to people in advanture island.)

Unique decoration.. though it gives good dining experience of plane the place is not that tidy. The food is average and service was too slow. I get my drinks only when my friends were about to finish their drinks after reminding them couple of times. We still enjoy coming here
