I did a John's tour overnight camp here and it was a wonderful adventure. It wasn't what I expected but it was a lot of fun. My little tent was well set up and the meals were delicious. The unexpected parts? I was the only camper and there were torrential rains. The staff were very solicitous and made my trip truly memorable. I recommend the trip to solo travellers as there's a lovely blend of serene island life and people watching with each boat of day trippers. A wonderful holiday memory!

Came here with John tour and had lunch. Lunch was amazing. So much food!!! They also got us lounge coats for free as a part of lunch. We ordered cocktails, beer and soda. Kids had fun building sand castles on the beach.

Well worth doing seeing how it is the Guinness book of world records for the longest tram ride, stunning views on your way to the island. Highly recommend doing the buffet as well so many food choices it was unreal. The theme park water park also extremely nice as well and the beach beautiful beyond. Highly recommend would definitely do it again. Staff extremely friendly and helpful with all your questions and needs.

We spent a delightful afternoon at the Hon Thom Cable Car Terminal and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. We made the mistake of including this place in our island hopping tours whereas I feel it should be a full day spent here tour. The terminal is modern, clean, and efficiently run, offering comfortable waiting areas and great ocean views. The lunch buffet at Mango is mind boggling.They have a variety of cuisines meats, fruits, fresh juices and also a Goblet full of Beer free 😋 😀. The service staff at the restyrant and all over are courteous n helpful. Clean washrooms everywhere inspite of atleast 5 to 7k visitors a day The cable car journey itself was spectacular — smooth, scenic, and offering panoramic views of the islands and emerald-green waters below. The on-site cafés and shops added to the convenience, allowing us to relax and take in the surroundings. The staff were polite and attentive, ensuring a pleasant visit from start to finish. Overall, an unforgettable afternoon and one of the highlights of our trip to Phu Quoc!

Riding the Hon Thom Cable Car feels less like transportation and more like a quiet flight above paradise. It’s the kind of sight that makes you forget to pull out your phone. The cabins are modern, smooth, and surprisingly quiet. You can feel the breeze even when the door is closed, and for a moment, it’s just you, the sky, and the sea. The whole ride lasts around 15 minutes, but honestly, it feels both too short and perfectly long at the same time. At the end of the ride, Hon Thom Island opens up with beaches, water slides, and palm-lined paths. It’s clearly designed for tourists — beautiful but a bit commercial — yet still worth the trip for the view alone. One small minus: queues can get long at peak hours, and staff sometimes seem overwhelmed. But once you’re up there, none of that matters much.

We had a wonderful time visiting Thom Islet, also known as Hon Thom Island, part of the Sun World complex in Phu Quoc. There are many photo spots, beach clubs, and restaurants, all beautifully designed and managed. The staff are polite and professional, ensuring everything runs smoothly. It’s best to spend half a day to a full day here to really enjoy all the attractions. A great mix of adventure, leisure, and natural beauty — definitely a must-visit when in Phu Quoc!

The water park is a bit pricey, but totally worth it! There are plenty of slides and attractions, and the staff are very strict about safety rules, age limits, and proper swimwear. If your swim shorts have zippers, you won’t be allowed on certain slides — so keep that in mind. There’s a Starbucks right next to the park, though it’s also quite expensive and doesn’t have all the drinks you might expect. The nearby tuk-tuks are on the pricey side too. Access can be a little tricky, as there’s a pedestrian-only bridge, and you’ll need to find a place to park your scooter a bit further away. Despite that, the place is beautiful, peaceful, and very well kept — a lovely spot to spend the day and have fun in the water! 💦🌴☀️

This is sunworld's creation which has an 8 km long cable car. The scenery is beautiful and the ride was safe. It takes approx 20 mins to reach the other side which has water sports and restaurants / crafted beer outlets. Runs between 9am to 12noon and then 1.30pm to 5pm all days of the week. Tickets cost 300,000 VND per person which includes entry to Kiss of the bridge spot.

Our visit to sun World HonThom island was truly an unforgettable experience.This incredible attraction holds the record for being the world's longest cable car 🚠 nearly 8kms , streching over the turquoise sea that connects phu quoc to hon thom island. We booked our entry tickets through the klook app,which mad ethe entire process super convenient.All we had to do was scan the QR code at the entrance and we were good to go,no long queues or hassles.One can also get the entry tickets in the counters. The cable car journey takes around 20 minutes, and honestly, it’s a breathtaking ride. The sea view from above is absolutely unmatchable—crystal-clear waters, scattered fishing boats, and tiny islands below create a truly mesmerizing sight. It felt like floating through paradise, and we loved every bit of it. Once you reach the Hon Thom island ,you’re greeted with multiple photo points that are perfect for capturing those postcard-worthy moments. By default, your ticket also includes access to the two theme parks on the island ~one with water games and another with dry games. At the time of our visit, the dry games section was under renovation, so not many rides were open. However, we spent most of our time enjoying the water park, which had several fun slides and a relaxing lazy pool. The only downside was that there’s no lift access to the slides, so you’ll need to climb 100–200 steps for most rides, which can get quite tiring. Another disappointing part was the locker and shower facilities.The lockers cost 100000VND each ,which felt a bit expensive and the shower area wasn't very well maintained , cleanliness could be definitely improved. But all those minor inconveniences were forgotten when we took the cable car back during sunset. Watching the sun dip into the ocean, with speedboats and fishing boats returning to the mainland, was one of the most magical moments of our trip. The entire sky turned golden-orange, and the view from the moving cable car was simply spectacular. Don’t forget to claim your complimentary crafted beer (included with your ticket)—just ask any staff member, and they’ll guide you where to get it. And if you’re staying late, make sure to catch the “Kiss the Stars” bridge show (entry ticket required). It’s a stunning night spectacle worth seeing! Overall it was a perfect blend of adventure , natural and man made beauty with unforgettable memories. This is a gorgeous beach but not very big. In my opinion NOT the best in Phu Quoc and yes, it is full of trash! PQ island has a list of “ best beaches” but for some reason, the best ones I have found are the ones off the map that I accidently found exploring. The unknown beaches. This one was crowded and small. Took me 40 min both ways to walk it entirely. Again,I agree with other reviews that it is full of trash. Most public beaches in Vietnam are. The only clean areas belong to resorts but this beach has mostly beach clubs that only keep their spot clean. Others businesses don’t bother .The swings and decorative bridge to your left belong yo the beach club bar and you have to pay to take pictures there! You also have to pay for bathrooms and showers… what a joke! There is a Highland Coffee shop( popular coffee chain in Vietnam) right at the entrance!

The beach is absolutely stunning. White sand, amazing water, Beautiful clean nature.. I can spend hours here. One thing to be aware of- they gonna charge you 100k for bed even if you order to drink from the restaurant. It’s about 30 minutes drive from centre.

The beach has potential, but there is an enormous amount of ocean trash everywhere and nobody cleans it. Based on the layers of trash, it’s a long-term problem that nobody is addressing. We decided to leave and go to Khem Beach instead — there are more people, but it’s much cleaner, with no trash at all.

Absolutely stunning beach comparable to Roatan in the Caribbean. Crystal clear water and white sand. Really pretty.

To get to the Sao Beach was a bit difficult for me find the right entrance. I would recommend you to drop the navigation pin to this Chezdugong restaurant, easy access, you can also rent a chair there (I paid 100k per person). Overall the beach is a bit crowded, lots of boats around, good to take pictures and water activities. In my experience I prefer Khem Beach, much beautiful and calm.

Great motorcycle, very friendly owner! I contacted them in advance to bring the motorcycle to the airport. As soon as I landed, I picked up the motor and rode it directly to the hotel in the south for check-in. It was very convenient to use for the past three days. I rode it to watch the sunset town and all the visit area, and I strongly recommend this shop to everyone. On the last day, the owner even came to my hotel to pick up the motor, making my itinerary very convenient！

It's absolutely brilliant, the service, bikes and people. We had 3 bikes, all nice looking Honda's. Half tank of petrol, helmets and rain covers for free. We rescheduled the return 2 times with them being always polite and flexible. 5 stars service - absolutely recommend it to anyone who want to rent a bike on Phu Quoc.

Perfect scooter rental. Incredible service, simple and fast. I chose this service based on Google reviews and I’m really not disappointed. Easy communication via WhatsApp, and he was able to deliver the scooter the next day (even the same day if needed). He came directly to my accommodation, showed me how the scooter worked, provided two helmets, and even accompanied me to an ATM for payment. Very competitive price for the service offert: 150,000 VND/day (600,000 VND for 4 days). For the return, he adapted to my plans: originally planned to meet at the port, but in the end, he met me at the airport at 5 AM without any issue. Smooth communication, perfect punctuality. After several scooter rentals in Asia, this was my best experience: simple, efficient, and hassle-free. Highly recommended, it allowed us to explore many parts of the island, including areas only accessible by scooter, which we truly enjoyed.

Got a NVX 155cc in perfect state and they delivered it to the airport. Vehicle working perfectly, tank half full when received, they don’t hold your passport as a deposit and the price is the best on the island. So far, the best rental place in Vietnam for me!

A lovely natural park about 9–10 km from Dương Đông town. The entrance ticket is only 30,000 VND, and the area is beautifully maintained with shady forest paths and peaceful surroundings. The stone trekking trail to the main waterfall takes about 15–20 minutes, passing mossy rocks, small streams, and wooden pavilions along the way. The waterfalls are refreshing and suitable for bathing, especially during the rainy season (May–September). Around the entrance, there are wooden-roofed traditional houses and impressive hand-carved furniture and sculptures that add a cultural touch to the park. Overall, Suối Tranh Waterfall is a perfect half-day getaway for anyone who loves nature, light trekking, and quiet green scenery away from the busy beaches.

A great spot to visit during or at the end of the rainy season (which typically lasts from May to October on Phu Quoc) if you’re looking to enjoy refreshing, cool freshwater. The waterfall itself isn’t as spectacular as some others in Southeast Asia, but it offers several pleasant spots where you can comfortably take a dip. The water is clear and refreshing, with plenty of fish swimming around. There’s also a restaurant and a few small attractions in a nicely landscaped park. For an entrance fee of 30,000 VND—including parking—it’s more than worth it. However, be aware: they charge the same entrance fee during the dry season, and you may end up walking all the way there only to find a completely dried-up riverbed.

Wow, I love nature, plants, flowers and trees. So I was just at the right place. Little hiking path with a waterfall. Really nice . They have some sort of bonsai’s but in much bigger pots ! They also have rest area with cantina selling water, beer and sodas. We hiked while it was about 30 degrees Celsius and it was humid as hell but loved it anyway.

At this time of the year, a really beautiful and strong waterfall. The hike up the stream is well maintained and no trash is laying around thanks to the many bin‘s along the way. The swim ag the top was lovely and refreshing! Parking lot available. The park and the garden are really beautiful, green and clean. Definitely worth a visit!!

Entry is well priced at 30,000d. Walk through gardens with animal statues and flowers. Gradual incline rock path to the waterfall. About 15-20 mins. Best to wear covered shoes. Gets more humid as you go further up into the foliage. Waterfall is small in comparison to others but a welcome cool relief after the walk. Toilets avail but be prepared with your own paper. Drinks and food for purchase on-site.

Accessible by the free Vinbus service (Bus route 20), it is around a 10mins short walk after alighting from the bus stop (KDL Suoi Tranh). Entrance fee is 30K per adult and 20K per child as of Oct 2025. The safari displays are eccentric yet traditional. The walk in to the waterfall is a gentle upward slope. Low to moderate level of fitness will get you there. A guide is not needed. Good sturdy footwear is recommended for the uneven stone pathway, although you’ll find tourists and foreigners wearing flip flops. Do mind your steps as the stone pathway is naturally covered with moss which can be quite slippery. Taking a dip to cool off in the stream after the walk is wonderful. Take note in the dry season there might not be much waterfall. There are many bins along the path so you can bring in snacks and drinks, including alcohol, and even have a picnic. Besides the drink shop onsite, there is a big clean toilet with basic shower facilities if you need.

Beautiful Park with a lot of artistic features. Animal meets nature meets culture. Then the waterfall was about 10 minute walk and it was so refreshing after a hot humid day around the park. I really recommend bringing your swim suit! November2025

We didn't reach the point on the map, but were 1 km to the south on the coast. It's just before some private territory with fish farm. The road is super bumpy and you need to drive very carefully. But the beach with stones in the water is still there. There are also very many interesting sea shells.

Decent Natural beach with not many people there, you‘ll basically have the Beach for your own. Since there are no hotels the beach is not cleaned which might result in trash being flushed to the Land, but it‘s not as bad as other Reviews state it. Regarding Navigation, simply follow the Street towards Chez Carole and then continue on the dirt road. You will come to a stop right in Front of a fenced private property but simply park your scooter there and continue on foot towards the beach.

A Private date on the beach & unforgettable experiences of us! In the Northern Phu Quoc lies a turquoise & tranquil bay named Half-moon Bay (or Vũng Bầu Bay) where you can freely enjoy kayaking with a very little chance of a crowdedness ahead. My partner & I experienced the route of 4 km long from Half-moon beach, passing by Fingernail Island before reaching Casuarina Beach for relaxing & drinking tropical coconut water then we continued to paddle back to the shore. When the sun came down on the water, we also finished the wonderful paddle which lasted around 3 hours of fun, chill & retreat. It followed by a romantic dinner right on the beach. We hope to share this exotic experience for those enthusisatic couples out there who are also seeking for private dates on the beach like we used to, it would be perfect!!! Unfortunately, as we’d like to enjoy the wholeness of us together while paddling, we didn’t bring the camera with us so these photos were taken before & after the paddle. :) Just ask google for #Half-moon Beach, #Vung Bau Bay and they will guide you there somehow.

Another beach where your entrance is blocked by security guards. There's some real estate development ongoing, which would explain it. We drove in with our scooter, and a security guard was literally chasing us, honking all the way. That's pretty much all the fun there is to be had on this beach. It's a shame the island's beaches are closed off, there's a lot of natural beauty here but annoying visitors by keeping then out of most of the coastline certainly won't help make a success of these investments. You do need people to want to come back and tell others to come here...

We arrived around 10am in the morning and we had the beach all by ourselves. A bit of bumpy roads but least of an issue compared to nusa penida. Wear a mask and don’t wear white! You will thank me for that later. Bike parking is free. Beach is about 100-200m walk from there. It’s truly a hidden gem with clear water and peaceful surroundings. Do bring your own drinks and food as there isn’t any stall around. Please keep this beautiful beach clean! We left about 12pm and saw a lot of locals coming in for lunch break.

Following the dirt road on a scooter is fun. The beach, where we were is long and in principle empty. There was no sign of infrastructure i.e. huts, bars, benches etc., just the sandy beach. At some point along the dirt road further north we had to turn around as a big excavator blocked the way. Even the scooter could not pass. Following another road under construction it was a, in a way, to see the forrest being destroyed on such scale.

Great stay. The reservation comes with airport transfer services and breakfast, both important as you are kind of far from many things. Safari is great and you can easily spend the whole morning there so make use the shuttle service from the hotel lobby (30-minute interval). Breakfast has a good spread and of reasonably good quality. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious. Apart from the distance from the town and other attractions, if you intend to spend most of your time at and around the resort, this is a pretty good option. Might try my luck at the nearby casino.

Truly a slice of paradise! We booked an ocean view room for 2 weeks and the view is truly breathtaking. Looking for a beach front resort with an amazing pool and this resort delivers. Set away from the busy tourist areas, but close enough to visit by bus or taxi. The food service was amazing, local and international cuisine buffets that change daily. However for us, what made this resort standout is the Vinpearls staff, from the moment you arrive into the beautiful lobby, you are greeted by the lovely staff. Special thanks the man that cooked delicious pastas each night, sorry I didn’t get his name, Trân at the breakfast Pho station, welcoming us each morning. The absolute best hostess, morning or night with her beautiful smile and warm conversation is Nguyen Thi Linh Dan. Duc Tri (Galvin) a gentleman and genuinely friendly food and beverage person who we were able to chat to in English. The cleaning staff refreshed our room daily. Bella from management was also so attentive to our needs and request. We look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful hotel and gardens, lovely comfortable beds, amazing breakfast! The check in smooth, but overwhelming, no information given about different areas, locations, spa, restaurants etc. Drinks too expensive!! Wine the same price as we pay in the UK, small pours, and lack of variety (when we had dinner in the Beach Cafe they actually had NO white wine to offer). Cocktails didn't pack a punch. This led us to spend our money outside of the resort, which was a shame as the terrace and cafe were lovely. Please, this is a beach resort!! More sun beds needed!!!!! We never once managed to sit around the pool as not enough places. The only way to enjoy the beach was for one of us to go down early 6:30 am to sit on a sun bed until the other one got up. This meant we could never breakfast together. We don't think it's right to put towels on sunbeds (in some cases all day) and leave them empty. Your hotel has so much to offer, but we wouldn't recommend to our English friends and family for the reasons mentioned above.

I believe most of the positive reviews are not genuine. This hotel is far away from a western standard 5 stars (you could get a hint from the price). The only reason we stayed here was to be able to use the golf but you can just walk in from any other hotel. Compared to other hotels we’ve visited during our Vietnam trip the staff is nowhere near as nice and helpful and barely speaks any English. This hotel is catered for rude and obnoxious Russians (but so is this whole island) who run to reserve their sunbeds at 7am. Therefore there were no available sunbeds if you came later, both at the pool and beach. But also that’s the hotel’s fault for allowing that. Nor are drinks brought to your sunbed. Sadly these were the last few days in Vietnam and this hotel ruined it. The only thing we enjoyed was the bar at sunset. My advice spend a few dollars more and go somewhere else.

Having a good experience so far in Vinpearl Resort&spa Staffs are kind. room is clean room condition and reasonable price ! I highly recommend this resort if you are intend to visiting the north of Phu Quoc. 1. reasonable price 2. easy to reach out the market by a car in 5min. 3. working fast 4. good room service but the breakfast is little bit simple.

The food at Vinpearl Phu Quoc was absolutely wonderful! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the breakfast buffet to the evening dinners, the variety and quality were impressive. A truly delightful dining experience that made our stay even more memorable!

The hotel is nice, with a good beach and great facilities. However, the service could be improved — the staff were a bit slow. We also tried the dinner buffet; it was okay, but not impressive. What surprised us is that drinks are not included. I understand alcoholic beverages being extra, but not even soft drinks like cola or juice are provided. This definitely doesn’t feel like the standard of a 5-star hotel

It’s a great zoo for families, kids, and solo travelers. I’d recommend going early in the morning to avoid the heat. you can pay and take buggy to go around if you are not used to walk. There’s a wide variety of species. The highlight was definitely the AC safari bus drive through, were we will be taken close to giraffes, tigers, deer, zebras, lions, and even rhinos was incredible.Enjoyed the animal show and African dance performance. My favorite is giraffe feeding🤩 and chilled out at giraffe restaurant.

Nice safari and zoo. A bit smaller than I expected. The restaurants are fairly priced but the souvenirs are a bit pricey. The animals are diverse and look healthy. The care takers are all around the place and you see the hardwork they put in for the welfare of the animals and the visitors. The line to the safari bus was a bit long compared to the amount of people. But mostly a good experience.

Run and get the ticket!!! This is definitely a must-do in Phu Quoc! I booked the combo ticket (entrance + zoo tram + F&B) through Klook. Let’s start with the staff- everyone was amazing and super friendly! They were so helpful and really went above and beyond. Some staff don’t speak much English, so learning a few Vietnamese phrases or using Google Translate will definitely make your visit smoother. When we took the bus to see the lions, zebras, and other animals, one of the staff asked me to do a quick web review (I think it’s only in Vietnamese, not 100% sure), and I got a food coupon for the elephants in return. We had so much fun feeding them! The place was super clean and enjoyable! We had such a great time exploring all the different areas of the zoo. However, the food at the Giraffe Restaurant was a bit meh, it was dry and not served hot, so I wasn’t a big fan. But honestly, the amazing view of the giraffes kind of made up for it! There are multiple buses to get you to the zoo and it is for free so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT :)

A moderate sized park with diverse wildlife exhibits. There is a bird show in the morning at 10:00 am and another one at 2:00 pm. I would recommend for you to reach 15 - 20 mins earlier at the amphitheater and settle at a good spot for the show. If you want to experience the show and record it find a spot at the center or if you want to get up-close with some hornbills the fly in from left and right top corner stairs of the amphitheater. The show showcased some amazing birds like rhino hornbill, great hornbill and ostriches. After the show there are lots of animal enclosures to explore. If you are with elderly people or infants you can opt the buggy service for 1,00,000 VND. But the buggy doesn't stop at the enclosures instead the just drive buy the enclosures so you cannot get a up-close encounter with the animals. At the end of the park there is a bus safari which goes through different gates which holds tigers, lions, bears, rhino, giraffes, zebra and many other herbivores. But the bus as well doesn't stop next to the animals for you to observe theme properly. They just drive by each gates without giving you a proper chance to observe the animals especially if there is a long queue at the bus station. Yes of course you have to wait in a long queue for your turn at the bus station unless you have a express pass. There is also a bird aviary and a giraffe restaurant where you can feed the giraffes. Overall a good place for kids and sub adults to enjoy up-close with various animals.

Great little zoo with a Safari and Tram service. Many animals and opportunities to feed some and get up close and personal. The giraffe cafe was amazing. Only complaint would be the wait for the Safari bus. It was very long in that line today. And the staff at the Giraffe cafe were not cleaning the tables to make room for new guests. But overall we had a great time. Friendly staff and easy to get around.

Visited on a Thursday morning,and crowds were present. It was a relatively huge zoo,with reasonable species enclosures,but some enclosures were empty or was on renovation. Biggest area was the open enclosure,where visitors would need to take a tour bus to see the animals roaming freely. Was nice,but not an eye-opener. Food quality and price-wise at the restaurants were still acceptable. Nevertheless,a zoo is still interesting for all,and also good for walking and exploring. Entry ticket is also reasonable.

Great place to bring children and family. We came here as a couple so we went through it pretty quickly but if you take your time you could spend a whole day here. Admission is about USD23 per person which is pretty affordable. If there are lots of people I suggest using the VIP buggy which you have to pay more but worth it if you want to skip the queue!

The Pepper Farm is a wonderful place to visit! We were given a really interesting tour of the farm, and our guide spoke excellent English. You can learn a lot about pepper and other plants that grow in their garden and are used in the kitchen — which is why it’s definitely worth having a meal there too. We started with delicious coffee and enjoyed a refreshing drink after the tour. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and they made sure to provide vegetarian food upon request. It’s such a relaxed and welcoming place — we felt very comfortable there. I can highly recommend a visit! They also offer a cooking class, which sounded great, but unfortunately we didn’t have time to join.

We did the tour including food which was a super delicious 3 course menu of papaya salad, a choice of main dish (pork, chicken or tuna) and banana cake for 280k per person. The tour took about 30 minutes and was held by the farmer himself who could speak very good English. He explained to us everything about pepper but also about all other plants on their farm. We tried, tasted and smelled so many different things. It was great! Before we had a yummy Welcome Drink, tried different types of pepper with mango and gad pepper tea after the tour. I would also recommend going for the food. It was sooo good and all spices, leaves and stuff came right from the garden. We loved it. Everyone was super nice!

It was an impromptu trip and I only texted them that morning that we wanted to go visit. Lucky thing no appointment needed. We reached there n was received by a very friendly guide who spoke good English. Took us around the area n gave us a quick but informative and fun tour. Quizzed us on our knowledge of plants which made it more interactive. Gave us leaves from different plants to smell. Ended the tour with the most delicious meal! My gal said it was the best meal shes had so far in Vietnam. We had purple rice, papaya salad, claypot pork with ginger and pepper. Dessert was a delicious banana pancake. When we were about to leave, it started pouring heavily. The guide was v kind to shelter us to our taxi with their umbrellas. Left in a rush so did not say thank u to him properly. Thank u Thanh! The property provides its own tour of the farm, so visitors can just go there and choose between two options without making a reservation. I learned so much about the pepper grown there as well as the vegetables and fruit that they also grown on the property. The welcome drink and pepper tasting was fun, and the guide had us taste random crops from the farm. Very immersive tour. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy learning about food and where it comes from!

Highly recommend this farm. We took tour. For starter we received good drink. Tour was about 30 min walk in need CE garden in friendly atmosphere. The tour guide spoke English very well. After that we bought few products for souvenirs.

The tour costs currently 110k per person, including a nice welcome drink, 30min english guide through the farm and tasting their products. I really enjoyed and recommend doing it at least once when you are in Phu Quoc.

We visited this Pepper Farm while staying in Ong Lang. You are offered a tour of the gardens which comes with a drink beforehand and a chance to sample some of the produce. The tour is interesting, you find out about the way they grow, pick and process the pepper but also many other herbs and fruits. Well worth the effort.

Great location, beach chairs to relax and swings in the water to play. Beach relatively clean here and shallow water, perfect for families with kids. Prices a bit high (we paid 100k for vegetarian fried rice), otherwise great.

If you are visiting Kep you should make time to spend a day or longer here. So relaxing. Chill out in a hammock, swim, eat wonderful meals and take a walk around the island like we did. Next time we will take an extended break and stay in one of the cute bungalows. Such a special place. These places really do exist.

This place is such a paradise to visit, this beach spot. Mostly, people come here to relax and have a picnic. There are also some stalls where we can rent the cottage that allows us to rest and sit with enjoying the food there, also we can swim in the water. I love the atmosphere with trees and nature around, with fresh air and nice sand.

Not really ... but yes, it is the best beach in Kep (due to nothing there). I've expected quiet island with clean beaches and place to snorkel. Nothing of it. The only usable beach is where you land by boat. This one is nice sandy beach and good for swimming in the sea. There is nothing there for snorkeling. Other beaches (counterclockwise from main where you land): - "Small" or "Stone" beach: well, fishermen are occupying this one and heavy diggers and trucks are leveling ground for construction site, - nice sandy beach full of trash as usually in Cambodia and heavy diggers and trucks are leveling ground for construction site, - "Coral" beach: it's algae farm now. Next is stony, shallow and mangrove seashore with humps of muddy dead algae. Be warned: I've not gone far on the remote beaches but have seen many dead sea urchin shells. Walk around the island: skip it. Unless you are true dedicated nature lover ... Nothing there and path is not maintained and overgrown in few parts. It's leading partially through bushes & mangroves (shoes and long trousers recommended) and through wet smelly humps (like mud) of rotting algae on "Coral Beach" (algae farm bay - you have to stump upon coral to find it under the water if there is any). I wish I know it before so I just spend a chill out day on beach where boats are landing.

It’s such a quiet, natural, peaceful place to relax for one or two day. You can have a good seafood there or pack by yourself. At 10pm, there will be electricity cut off if you do not pay a bit more. It is also good while electricity cut off at night to see the view of the clear sky and listen to the sea waving sound. In the evening, you can enjoy with the stunning view of the sunset. In the morning, you can take a walk to another part to explore more. It is not really clean but it is a good walk. You spend 25$ for a boat going and coming back. It is until 4pm only. If you take the boat to the island almost at 4pm, you have to stay there one night so you can come back tomorrow.

This statue is quite outstanding and stands out well. It symbolise the famous flower sea crabs in Kep but unfortunately no more and what's left are baby and small ones. There are few mobile stalls set up along the pathway here selling bbq shrimps and squids but no crabs.

...not much to see in the area surrounding the statue, but still worth a visit. There are numerous dilapidated houses in the surrounding forest. The French wanted to build a new residence here.

Riding down from Kampot. Half journey road condition is bad with potholes. Beach is not suitable for swimming. It's just a place to enjoy the sea breeze. Nearby Hill, there are some cafes with an awesome view of the horizon. The weekends are fully packed with locals coming in drove to enjoy a whole day lazing around in rented huts with hammocks. Seafood was famous among the locals coming from nearby towns.

As you can see by the picture, it was high tide when we stopped here. It was very exciting as the sea was gun-metal grey and impressive in strength. It had been a usual, muggy hot and humid day, so I took great delight in being sprayed as the waves crashed against the ballasts lining the beach. It didn't look like it was possible to swim anywhere near there as it was too rough and the sandy beach had all but disappeared.

A huge statue of a giant crab on the Kep beach, Waterfront, Kep, Cambodia offers a beautiful sightseeing and the symbolic of Kep City. It’s the photo spot and famous place for people to enjoy fresh crab at the beach or they buy at the crab market. There were few small restaurants and eateries which offers delicious sea foods, drinks and beer. A perfect place to witness a beautiful and mesmerizing view of sunset during evening.

Kep is synonymous with crab, so it is only fitting that it has a giant statue paying tribute to the crustacean. It should come as no surprise then that the Kep Crab Statue is a local landmark that depicts a blue swimmer crab. Cambodians flock from far and wide to devour this local delicacy that can be found in abundance at the crab market down the road. It’s hard to miss the crab statue. If you continue on the road past Kep Beach you will pass by the crab statue standing proudly in the sea. Nothing quite says “Kep” like crab, so it is a popular spot for taking selfies. Join in the action, pull over and start snapping.

This statue is erected as a representation of the famous indigenous Blue Swimmer crab which is found in the beach-side waters of Kep. From here,these are even sent out to high quality dining restaurants in the capital,Phnom Penh. One can also buy them at the crab market,just after they are caught.Direct from the sea to the plate.

Nice quaint little beach with great cheap seafood all around. hammocks, umbrellas, chairs, inner tubes. life vests available for rent for a few dollars. Clean and nice. Not very busy when we were there on Saturday and Sunday. I recommend this place.

I visited the beach on a rainy day. The sea was murky with big waves. The sky was filled with dark grey clouds, heavy with rain. Perhaps when the dry season comes around, the beach will look picture perfect. Nevertheless, there were many visitors enjoying the bracing winds.

Highly recommend visiting this beach! It seemed like they had just put down fresh sand but we loved it here. We spent a few hours under one of the umbrellas and ordered beers from the kiosk close by. The sunset was insane and it was so quiet for a beautiful beach. The staff were trying to pick up the rubbish and keep it clean, a lovely spot to relax!

Everything around beach is being destroyed. All 100+ years old chestnut trees - cut down. A huge hotel complex will be built there for next several years. Expect big trucks, dust and dirt, construction noise. Who needs beautiful nature when you can sell your country for casinos, right?

Had a great 10km run at Kep National Park. The road is in good condition, surrounded by nature with fresh air all around. The views are beautiful, and I even caught the sunrise — a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommend for runners and nature lovers!

This is a really beautiful park with an 8 km paved loop that is easy to access through two entrances. There is a ranger at the entrance, and the $1 fee per person is definitely worth it. We first entered from the left side of the park and started walking towards inland, then continued onto the so-called Jungle Route (I think?). The trail quickly turned into a steep climb where we had to hold onto trees and plants to make our way up. It felt adventurous, but after a while the path became harder and harder to follow until it almost disappeared completely. At that point we decided to turn back, which was not easy, especially going down, it was quite a tricky descent. Back on the main paved path, we continued on the standard route towards Sunset Rock Viewpoint. This part was much easier and absolutely worth it. The view was stunning, and it felt like a rewarding end to the walk. Overall, the park offers both adventurous trails and accessible routes, making it a great place to explore. Sunset Rock is highly recommended. It would get 5 stars if all the paths were kept well and marked.

Very easy hike on a paved path. It’s not a complete loop as it exits out into a street that requires you to walk around the coast along Kep Beach and around to get back to the starting point.

Beautiful garden to visit, it was just a few of butterfly when we went there because they had an issue with cocoon. But the place is really beautiful, and the inside net garden is magical. The road is ok in scooter to go.

From my experience use to come in the butterfly garden, sometimes we have visited there during rainy weather and the butterflies cannot come out to fly for us to see because they are afraid of the rain and their wings getting wet will be died so they keep stay under the tree leafs also now there not so much of the butterfly because the people live around there they spray the grass by very strong chemicals that spray fly into the garden so why that no have so much butterfly But I still want to visit because there nice garden and quiet 🥰🥰🥰

Me and my girlfriend came up here in the afternoon one day. Slightly difficult to get to, you can’t follow google maps as this does not show the correct road, there are other reviews we followed which got us here. We were on bikes and the dirt road was a bit difficult but worth it! Not sure why others reviews say they didn’t see any butterflies, we saw loads! Got a few photos of some of the ones on show but there are loads more here. Entry is $1. The actual butterfly part is fairly small but we just took our time and sat down a few times. You can also wander around the gardens. We were probably here an hour or so. Worth it for the dollar!

The Butterfly Garden was not open today. Maybe because of the low season, maybe closed forever? It was kind of cool to walk around the abandoned place, but sadly not many butterflies. If you plan to walk over there, starting from Led Zep Café, expect a very steep path with ropes to hold on to.

GET TO THE BUTTERLY GARDEN BY BIKE (Google Maps Fix) First, don't follow the directions given by Maps. I've tried to fix it in Maps, but Google has no information for the road (Maps screenshot 1). That road will take you to the exit gate of the national park. There is no way in from there. In fact, the concrete national park road won't go past Kep Butterfly Garden either, even if you take the entrance road anticlockwise (Maps screenshot 2). What you want to do is follow the route in Maps screenshot 3. Instead of taking a left towards the national park, carry on straight for about 1 km. Next, take a left at the small sign for the butterfly garden (photo 1 and 2, Maps screenshot 4). Carry on along this gravel road. When you come to fork in the road, go left. You'll know you're close when you see the sign for the butterfly garden next to the Keo Organic Farm (photo 3). Take the left and carry on for about 100m - 200m. Can't miss it from there.

The garden is beautiful and very well maintained, you can see various flowers and butterflies, as well as caterpillars and hatching. Worth the trip and the $1 entrance fee.

The Butterfly Garden is not particularly special, but it is interesting to see how the butterflies are raised in their cocoons. There is also a small covered area, nicely arranged, where you can spot some butterflies. The variety is limited, but it’s still a pleasant activity and a nice change of pace while in Kep. Be aware that Google Maps shows the wrong route. Make sure to check other Google reviews for the correct directions, otherwise it can be hard to find. The road goes quite a way up the hill, so it takes a bit of effort to get there. Entrance is $1, as they ask for a small donation. Not a must-see, but worth a short visit

The views here are stunning! They couldn’t be any better. As a photographer, I found it incredibly rewarding to capture the breathtaking scenery of the hills. I would definitely come back to enjoy the tranquil views. Since I visited on a weekday, it was quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of nature. With monkeys everywhere too!

Beautiful view along the road to this Bokor Hill Station. The weather is so cold compared to other spot on the mountain. It’s really strong wind and so cold. Get your jacket on. The most beautiful view place of the bokor mountain where you can see down to the bottom.

Really indifferent about this. 8 years ago it was a derelict building which you could walk into which had its own charm. It was a fortress for the Khmer Rouge and was abandoned after Vietnam drove them off. Now it’s been sorta redeveloped but it doesn’t have that same charm.

Cool to see in the misty rain but would like to visit again when there is less clouds to see the old building in all its glory. I’m also sure the views will be amazing

Bokor Mountain is very beautiful. We saw the scene of the clouds and fog. Across the way is Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. I came with my parents and was very impressed. It is very quiet here. There are many monkeys on the mountain. Our driver and guide were very good.

There is no possibility to walk to the end of the waterfall. So the photo’s you see on the wallboards are not reflecting the reality you can see as hiker. Besides that, the place was very outdated. It’s also sad to see in a way, because it looks like nobody is interested anymore in the waterfalls.

around one hour drive from Kampot on bikes on tarmac road the whole route. Once you enter the park there are km markers (where the monkeys sit waiting for fruity donations) starting at 1km and up to 30km at the Bokor Inn just before the old church and Bokor Palace. The road in is quite a nice twisty turning road. Be aware it can be really chilly with a side wind blowing; a windcheater would be most useful. At the top the Bokor Palace appears derelict from the outside but a palatial hotel inside, if only it was open. Apparently it is open to book, but the only staff we saw were working out of the back entrance feeding the Palm Production film crew. The views across the plains out to the Kampot Special Development Zone and the sea were impressive, if not very windy. Behind the palace below the water tower (where the detritus from the film crews meals were dumped) we found an abandoned house (you need to be intrepid to reach it) which has some worrying signs of a rapid exit and maybe even bullet marks on the walls. We didn't inspect the church due to the aforementioned filming, nor the Bokor Inn hotel, or other hotels and development along the road side near the top..We passed some dusty and heavy construction equipment on the route up as well as some strange security guarding side roads to the park. It was the wrong time of year to search out the waterfalls. Horrid how the locals stop on the side of the road for a break and leave bags of plastic rubbish in their wake. It was a fun trip, despite the rubbish and the wind. I would like to go back to investigate inside the Palace building

Great place for a quick stop and walk around, this Catholic Church built around 1920 by the French to give religious support to the nearby for hotel. From here you need to walk up to the top of the hill where there are awesome views of the plateau below the sea and the Vietnamese island in the far distance. You can also see the accommodation for the casino from the back. A common place for wedding photos.

Catholic Church is one of the oldest churches in kmapot, it’s almost 100 years old church. There not only for the warship but also the best place that we can see sunset by the backside of the church, with beautiful scenery and views from the part of the ocean.

Great little day trip up the mountain from Kampot. There is an abandoned 19th century catholic church set atop Bokor mountain. Would recommend it for photography enthusiasts, travellers or if old abandoned buildings are your thing ⛪️

We visited the church as a part of a general Bokor Mountain tour. The clouds rolled over the church giving it an erie feeling. While the architecture is impressive the history of the french development of Bokor and the fighting between Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge where the church was used as a shelter adds to the interest. Climb a little.further up the hill behind the church and you will be afforded a great view of the countryside and the old casino. The orange lichen covering the church and some graffiti inside the church adds to th e spooky feel of the place. Definearlybworth a visit for those with an interest in history

A truly magical place! Wat Sampov Pram offers breathtaking views from the Bokor Mountain, with a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. It pagoda is beautiful. The view of the cliff side out to the ocean is incredible. There is such a sense of age and neglect, but that only makes it more fascinating. I wouldn't miss this for anything.

A cool place to visit when it’s misty. I’m sure the views would be spectacular if the cloud had lifted.

According to my guide, this location is called the 5 ships temple because of the 5 nearby rocks that resemble the shape of a ship. The temple structure is built from stonework quarried from the surrounding sandstone terrain. A nice view of the lower landscape. Safe travels, Mega.

It's chill, cool, and cold!! The view on the top is great. The air is so fresh a d relaxing. You just need to walk around a bit. It's a historical place to check out when you get are in Kampot. It's an old pagoda.

Cool place to go, especially in the morning/early midday as there is a lot of fog rising up the mountain. Gives a magnificent view over the jungle and region of kampot. The buildings have a nice flair.

Strange place, national park but covered in building sites and huge casino, it looked like there were plans for housing probably not for Khmer people. Large chunks of forest cut down and the earth leveled so some gray buildings could shoot up. When you got away from that is was nice and the way up was really cool. There are monkeys and monkeys are always bonus is my book. But it was hard the overlook the scheme going on behind this national park. Sadly just another place in Cambodia, that could have been🦧

A beautiful mountainous national park situated outside Kampot. Lots of cool building and monuments to see on the hill. The rainy season misty rain makes it feel a bit eerie. Keep an eye out for the monkeys.

Beautiful Natural mountain in Kampot. We went on a rainy day so the weather was good and cold along the way. I would recommend to bring lunch with you. There is mart and restaurants available but it’s seem pricey.

It is best to visit during the cold season, which lasts from November to January, especially if your children enjoy cold weather. Many monkeys along the way, from the bottom to the top of the mountain, may appreciate it if you bring them some bananas.

Cool park with a lot of different to see, but these things are quite far from each other so you either need a driver or drive on your own. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction , so for big parts it feels like you are in a construction site, not a national park. So this destroys a lot og the national park feeling!

It's unbelievable that this place has the status of a national park... Yes, there are some remnants of the forest, there is a beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand, there is a lovely waterfall. There is also massive environmental devastation, logging, industry, casino and other huge Chinese investments, mostly abandoned. It breaks your heart when you look at this destructive "development". This place has nothing to do with a national park in the European sense. It's a waste of time and nerves to see this place.

A very strange national park, lots of monkeys on the way, no views due to haze and clouds, there are some temples and old ruins to look round.

This was an amazing tour. The family were so nice and knew a lot about the pepper and other things that grow here. Can definitely recommend

Small and authentic farm where everything— from pepper to jackfruits and mangoes — is grown organically, and where the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had the chance to get a very informative tour of the farm and taste the different types of equally delicious peppers before the start of our cooking class. Our chef was absolutely lovely and taught us how to prepare delicious chicken curry, lok lak and chek ktis. There’s also a variety of products available in their shop, and you can relax in their many hammocks. An absolute must-see!

Excellent! You get a free tour with tasting when you arrive. Our guide was really friendly and funny! You aren’t pressured into buying anything at the end either although we did but some of the rum and fresh pepper

Today I had the pleasure of a private tour of the farm, guided in very friendly and fluent English. Afterwards, we enjoyed a pepper tasting, accompanied by many personal stories and fascinating bits of history. The whole experience felt wonderfully relaxed and authentic. On site, there is also a restaurant and the chance to buy local products. The pepper itself is absolutely delicious – for me, the green pepper was the clear highlight. There’s even the opportunity to join a cooking class, which makes the visit all the more special.

Very interesting farm. They gave the visitors free tour of the pepper farm and the fruit farm. We are allowed to eat the fruits too for free. Mangoes, rambutan. Superb! As an indonesian, i approve. You can also purchase different peppers there. The peppers do taste better, maybe because of organic? Enjoy! Please purchase to support the local farm. Oh, the ride to the place was also very interesting. We had so much fun driving the motorbike and enjoyed the villages around. Very recommend if you are in town! Ps: if you worry about not having international license, we didn't see any police stop. Heck, kids are driving here. :))

Less touristy pepper farm in a beautiful area. Here, you can take a free guided tour of the farm and learn about the history of pepper cultivation in Cambodia, as well as the various types of pepper grown on the farm. You get to taste different peppers. In addition, the farm offers a range of souvenirs and gift items for sale. Loved my visit and can recommend it to everyone.

We really enjoyed our trip out here and the drive is really pretty. Very easy to get to by motorbike. The people are really friendly and welcoming- they offer lemongrass and pepper tea upon arrival which was very good. The tour was informative and the guide spoke good English. We were also excited to buy some organic pepper and tea to bring back home.

There was a buffet available for 3$ when we were there on a Sunday, really good food and plenty. There are free toilets for all visitors. The waterfall had only little water and you can only look from the top. If you drive a little further there is a strawberry farm.

Visited after some heavy rain showers in the preceding days meaning that the waterfall was flowing well. No obvious ways to get to the bottom but from the top you can see the power of the river. There is a small entrance fee of 2000 Riel but that includes a small bottle of water. There is also a restaurant on site

*I would recommend going there for a clean toilet* Entry was 2,000 rial/ 0.5 USD, with a complementary small bottle of water For the waterfall itself we didn’t manage to climb down because of the bad weather so I can’t speak for all. The river is okay and has signs saying ‘don’t visit the waterfalls’ apparently 😂😂😂😂

Small waterfall, good for a picture or 2. Buffet was alright for $3. If you are up the tree anyway it's worth checking out. 2,000 to get in but can redeem for bottled water.

Upon checking the reviews on Google Maps, we initially thought we could swim here. We paid 2000 riel, or $0.50, but could only view the waterfall, as swimming was not possible due to the strong current. We asked the staff if swimming was ever allowed, and they informed us that it is prohibited in all seasons due to numerous deaths. They should have made this clear beforehand. Additionally, they shouldn’t charge for access, as it’s a natural site. If swimming were permitted, a fee would be justified for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. Nevertheless, the waterfall views were truly spectacular.

Not much to see or do, only a small viewing space for the waterfall. There's a large restaurant you can eat at and it's 2,000KHR to view the waterfall. I would suggest skipping it, unless you plan on eating. Plenty of parking and space outside to sit with your own food.

We came here as part of a day tour around Kampot & were really impressed by the free tour offered here (highlight was sampling at the end!). Our guide was very knowledgeable with great English & we didn't feel pushed to purchase products or anything at the end which we really appreciated. Highly recommend trying the ice-cream at the Spice Bar after the tour :)

We had a really lovely visit to The Plantation near Kampot. Our guide Veha was excellent – he spoke with real passion and knowledge, making the tour both interesting and personal. We enjoyed tasting different types of pepper and local spices. And,.. and the pepper coffee and pepper vanilla ice cream were simply fantastic. A beautiful place, very much worth a visit.

I was there on a tour from "Getyourguide", it was approximately 1.5h long. Local staff and guide speak English very well and can explain all the processes on the plantation in a very detailed way. I was happy to find out that plantation supports local community and school, people who worked there were truly happy about working conditions. The plantation itself is an amazing place, like taken directly from a movie, surrounded by rich green landscapes. There's a store inside, offering a variety of over 100 spices, you can try most of them before purchase.

A wonderful place to visit. Make sure to take the free farm tour and tasting. It takes approximately 1hr and you learn all about how they grow and make pepper and also get to taste many different types. They’re also a company giving back to the community. Entry is free which is good and the products in the shop are not too expensive. A top attraction in Kampot

I really enjoyed tasting, understanding, and learning how pepper grows there. There was a variety of pepper mostly grown in Kampot, but some was brought from other provinces in Cambodia and/or other countries. They also provided a free tour of the farm with an English or French-speaking tour guide. Everything here is worth the time to come and check out. They also sell their peppers, teas, and other products that they grow there. I highly recommend the butterfly herbal tea as shown in the picture. 5/5, definitely I would come back.

I had a really good time here! Love that they’re doing donation-based tours where you can see the pepper plants, hear about the history and taste different kinds. Also tried pepper ice cream and beer at the restaurant. It was a bit expensive, but tasted very good!

Wow such an incredible place. We were t sure what to expect with this but it was such a great morning. Lots of things to do including a botanical garden, a shop and a lovely cafe as well as a free guided tour of the pepper fields.

Stopped here hoping to see some rapids but in January and it seems the river has been dammed further up or maybe it's just dry season. It was a nice five minute rest stop in the shade from the afternoon sun and was quite calming and picturesque but not the experience and swimming hole we were hoping for. There were a few locals at the waters edge, washing or cooling off, but then one of them pulled rubbish out of the water bed. The car park is generally as dirty as the river. No special reason to visit unless the rains come back to fill the rapids. The nature opposite seemed quite unspoiled but the bridge across was closed up. (the photos were strategically taken to show the best side, sorry).

Just a river with rocks. Splish. Splash. Splush. Sit and watch locals try to swim. $2 to enter the area. I can make better rapids in the shower. Only $1 if you want to see....

Clean & Clear water... Early morning and evening is best for relaxing... Weekend more people visit there... It's Not so far Kampot town... You can ride a bike or motors . Good road to there

During the dried season, the water is less than normal, but still can swim and play in the river fall from mountain. Foods can be ordered through menu with fixed prices, there.

Magnificent mountain, with vertical cliffs. All caves free entrance , but there are kids who are trying to assist you for small tip. Several food stalls along the road. The road goes around the mountain and it's worth taking the loop as the mountain looks its best from bit afar, across the wet lands. There is a large water cave where you can swim. Popular for kids. Super easy accessible. Water looks transparent and clean and it is a nice temperature. 25m climb up and you can enter a magnificent dry cave with skylights. The cave seams to be maybe 30m tall? No protection seems to be in place so all stalactites and stalagmites are trashed. Instead there are many Buddha's all over the cave. Amazing view from the cave terrace. 100m south there is a much smaller dark cave also wet. No one visits that one. One annoyance ate kids who they to guide you to the cave, although it's super easy to find. Kids also propose to look after your vehicle when you are sightseeing. They basically want some tip. On the other hand, someone did construct stair and balustrade to the upper cave and also levelled the entrance into the wet cave, so I felt like I do want to somehow contribute. At the end I left some cash at the can next to one of Buddha's.

Definitely worth a visit. It is tucked away but easy to find. The community discovered the cave when some Vietnamese tourist came exploring. The community built some steps to help people access the caves and provide tours for a small tip. There is a great view in the cave they call the sun cave. We traversed the top to reach the other cave, but you can go down and take the other steps. At the bottom is another cave with a large pond of clear cool water.

Perfect place to watch the sunset. Dress respectfully, it's a religious site in addition to a natural wonder.

A very quiet and peaceful place. Takes a short hike up some stairs to get to the cave but it’s worth it and the view across the farmland is stunning too. Costs 5000 Riel to enter and there is an option of a guided tour through the caves but we did not take them up on that.

Came here to make the most of using the scooter I rented and got an unexpected but amazing adventure out of it! The road from Kampot to the cave is paved all the way except for the last couple hundred meters that is a sandy muddy bumpy road. If you don't wanna get the scooter dirty or scraped maybe park by the road and walk the rest, especially after heavy rain. Once you get on the dirt road take the second road to the right (on the left of the small canal) - do NOT continue along the road despite a big sign pointing in that direction! That is another cave shrine that isn't as interesting and an even longer bumpy ride away. After going down the road next to the canal you will soon see the sign and a house where you can park, get a drink or use the toilet or continue driving down the field road to the cave entrance. I decided to park by the house and walk the last few meters as there was a big puddle from the rain I didn't want to drive through. When I got there, a guy on a bike asked me if I wanted a guide and then walked with me to the cave guards who informed me that the entrance fee is 1$ (I paid via ABA). Pao, the guide, then walked up the stairs to the entrance with me, making a quick stop by a nice view where he offered to take a photo for me. The stairs aren't long but quite steep so take it slow. Once inside, he showed me some of the shrines where people leave offerings and told me about the customs and history of the cave. There are also some bats in the dark corners high up. Afterwards he told me that there are multiple ways to walk through the cave to the exit downhill and that one of them can only be taken when it hasn't rained too much and if you're not too big. That sounded exciting so Pao and I literally crawled and made our way through tunnels and corridors in complete darkness except for the bright flash light be brought, seeing many many bats and walking through caverns that are completely flooded during rainy season. It's definitely a challenging (downhill) climb with some potential drops at certain points but Pao ensured me no one died here before haha He has been in these caves and given tours since he was a teenager and you could really tell by how easily he traversed it and shone the light on particular spots where I was supposed to put my feet, hands or watch my head. It took probably 10-15 minutes before we crawled through a narrow opening and ended up downhill by the entrance where we had met. It was a crazy and fun experience and more than worth the 5$! The cave is small as well as the temple inside. But it does have a cool Indiana Jones feeling to it. Just be advised: if it has rained you will be suffering. It’s a muddy dirt road that is under water when it rains. I have seen people pushing tuktuks out of the dirt so if weather is not great maybe use a car to get here Entrance fee is 5000 KHR per person

The cave was very good and the guides were good. However, we had a young lad that we believe had a disability. He was very friendly and helpful throughout. Halfway through another guy took over and took us through the cave and again was very good. We then got to the end and the second guy asked to tip the guide and we didn’t have much left to spend so I gave them 11,000 to share and the second guy refused and said he wasn’t going to give the first lad anymore than 1,000. So we felt guilty and gave the other lad 10,000 which we couldn’t leave without tipping him to. So please remember to stick with 1 guide and don’t fall for this trick like we did as they know what they are doing which ruined it for us a little👍🏻

A nice cave, a little out the way with a small temple. There are locals that offer a cave tour as there's a way to get through the cave system and come out another exit. Entrance is $1 but they first attempted to charge me 10,000KHR. Parking is free. Lots of steps and no wait time.

One of the most underrated mountain and cave in Cambodia. Surrounded by fresh air and green scenery, the cave is full of intriguing stories and mysteries. It is small and not for those who enjoy deep exploration but worth a visit. If you’re a beginner cave explorer or unfamiliar with the terrain, you can even hire local kids to help guide you during your exploration.

MORNING WELL SPENT Nice place to come and sit with a drink. There is also boat hiring activities. You can 🚲 or 🛵 around the lake but sadly not a full circuit at some point you need to turn around and go back. Along the route there are many cafes and restaurants which take advantage of the views of the lake. Would be nice if there was a walking route around the lake but sadly not.

Admission fee required. BUT no ticket! No receipt! Only map ??? Foreigners are advised not to go there exclusively This is why some attractions in Vietnam are criticized.

It is an ideal place to watch the sunset. However, it is quite crowded here, so it is not suitable for those who like quiet. A note for those who want to come here is to dress a little warm because the area around the lake is quite cold. The way is easy to find and easy to go.

Tuyen Lam Lake is very beautiful, but this location (showing a waterfall and statues) is incorrect.

Its a nature park with waterfalls cascading down the hills. It was very pretty in the rain. There is a bridge with water flowing over them and you can walk over them. Just another place to visit, in case you are coming from the desert, worth a visit. You can also take a dip into the waterfall at various places. The choice of place gets better as you keep going up. The gradient and steps are made of stone and is fairly easy to negottiate.

After the cable car experience, I rode around Tuyen Lam Lake. Intended to look for lavender fields, but I was told that it was not yet the season. So I just enjoyed the scenery of the lake and the mountains .

The lakeside mountainous drive here alone is zenlike. Dalat seems to be full of these gorgeous scenic rides all throughout - this area is certainly worth the visit. Nearby coffee shops and golf course are also worth checking out.
