Fantastic place to visit. I love this 💕 due to its location and the architecture brilliance. This temple is located on a hill top with good roads but narrow roads. They charge you ₹30 for cars and ₹20 for bikes. Lengthy vehicles are not allowed so try to use cars or bikes. There is a lot of parking space available in the open parking place so be mindful about the time of visit. This temple is open until 2:00 pm in the afternoon and reopens after 4:00 pm. There is not much of a crowd and it will take approx. 1 hour to complete the entire temple visit. Unless there are any pooja ongoing. A special Q was available at a cost of ₹25 but still free Q itself is a better option to live with. Take some food if required as you won't find many options on the hill top. No monkey menace when we visited so I hope nothing to worry about monkeys. Refer the images for more information. Must visit places at least once if you get a chance to go around this place.

A beautiful temple. It may appear to be small but it's a big one and open type of temple. The line is quick and fast moving. You can literally see the god from any place you stand within the temple compound in front. They give vada as well after the darshan. Parking is there nearby at walkable distance in an open ground.

A beautiful monument and temple. Calm place, very close to hanuman temple. There are many great sculptures throughout the entire temple compound including the one inside the main temple. If you like historical, archeological and old temples then you'll definitely love it.

The water fall is very beautiful and high. There are 1200 steps one side to reach the base of the waterfall which is steep and tiring, but it’s worth it. Must visit spot when you are planning to track the amazing 70 hairpins of the Kolli hills.

It’s very calm and beautiful shiva temple located at kolli hills. The temple small and clean with lord shiva as the main deity surrounded by other deities. The temple is under the control of government. There was some work is going during our visit. The views from the temple are awesome and there is one small falls and Agatha Gangai falls at the straight bottom of the temple. Overall it’s definitely worth to visit there

Walking into the Thanjavur Maratha Palace felt like stepping back in time. The palace walls whisper stories of kings and scholars. Some parts are grand and well-preserved, others are in ruins but still charming with their faded frescoes, stone carvings and long corridors. The Darbar Hall, with its murals and portraits, catches your eye. The Saraswati Mahal Library, with its stacks of old manuscripts and books, gives a quiet, soulful vibe. The towers and observation points give you a bird’s eye view of the inner courtyards. You can almost imagine the royal processions, the court gatherings, the echo of footsteps in wide halls. It’s not polished like a modern museum — it has rough edges, and some decay — but that makes it feel real, alive, touched by centuries. Must-visit for lovers of history, art, and architecture.

One of the most awe-inspiring temples I’ve ever visited. The scale, the detail, the feeling of walking through centuries … The towering vimana (temple tower) is majestic, and the carvings on the walls and pillars tell stories in stone. Even in the heat, the cool interiors and the shades make it a comfortable walk. The Nandi statue is carved from a single rock, huge and elegant. The temple is well maintained, with good pathways, signage, and security. A must-visit for anyone coming to Tamil Nadu history, spirituality and architecture all together.

Recently visited the Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple. Wonderful experience. Mesmerizing idol of Lord Murugan. Surprisingly people weren't understanding when we asked the direction to Pazhamudircholai Murugan Temple. It's popularly known as Solaimalai Murugan Temple. The temple is located about 25 kilometres north of Madurai, atop a hill covered with dense forests. One of the six important abodes of the deity Murugan located in Tamil Nadu, it is close to the Alagar Perumal Temple. Around 3 kms from Alagar Kovil, there's a small ghat road to the top of hill. The road is excellent. Govt free bus service is available but one needs to wait in long queues. Many people come by walking. Roadside parking available on top of the hill. Temple will be open from morning 6am to evening 6 pm. No break in between. Darshan usually takes 1-2 hrs during weekends. There's Rs. 100 quick darshan service available which takes around 30 mins.

We had a divine experience while worshipping this Karpaga Vinayagar for the first time in our life. The temple is awesome and maintained well inside and outside. The Pond and the surrounding are beautiful. The Main Gopuram view was awesome to look at.

We went exactly at 4 PM in the evening, and that’s when the walkway opened, so it was free without any crowd. Lord Murugan is on top of the hill, but there are only a few steps, making it easy to climb. There are small shops around, and parking facilities are available.

The temple’s architecture is beautiful, with its long corridors and intricate pillars. The 22 well bath is something special: at each well, the attendants pour water over you from buckets, and each well is said to have a different taste and feel. The process is well-organized, though be prepared to get completely drenched, so dress accordingly.
