All-inclusive resort offering eclectic rooms & villas, plus a bar, an indoor pool & a spa.
We had attended a weeding in December 2024 with approximately 150 guests and were amazed about the resort. What an experience!!! The "bungalow tents" are very spacious and offer everything you need. The food was outstanding while we were offered both North Indian and South Indian options at all times. The employees were very courteous and we felt like home!

The resort had a fantastic pool area with plenty of sun loungers. We also enjoyed the live music at the bar in the evening." * Food and Dining: Feedback on the quality, variety, and price of food and beverage options is important. * Example: "The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of fresh and tasty options.

We stayed in two different types of rooms and especially loved the cave room during our vacation. The food was delicious, and the hospitality was excellent. I really enjoyed my time here with my family

A wide variety of villas and suites to choose from. We've stayed in their Villa Suite as well as the Mudvilla. Both exceptionally well maintained and luxurious. The mudvilla in particular is something offbeat and gives a rustic and village vibe. Indoor pool is nicely maintained. Even the Game Room is very well equipped with top notch facilities for indoor and outdoor sports.Prices maybe a bit on the higher side, but totally worth the luxurious stay you're getting in return.

A Wonderful Stay with the Perfect Pool Room! We had an amazing experience at Tathastu Luxury Resorts in Satpura! The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury and nature, making it an ideal getaway. We stayed in a pool room, and it was absolutely fantastic—spacious, beautifully designed, and offering complete privacy.

We had a personal butler , Basant who was too good with his service. The rooms were very spacious and the food excellent. Overall a great place to recommend to anyone.they hv their branches in Tadoba, Bhandargarv and Satpura.shd soon try them too.

Great place for weekend leisure. This place takes two hours to reach from Nagpur but provides a peaceful environment away from urban hassles. Food is also good with both north indian and south indian dishes available. Enough variety to choose between vegetarian and non vegetarian food items. Being close to nature you need to be vigilant about snakes but I didn't see any. They have good sports options for outdoor activities. Tiger reserves visit is a must and you can see wild animals including tigers if you are lucky enough. However weekends may be a little crowded but still manageable to spend good time. In summer outdoor activities are difficult so it is better to avoid traveling here. Cost is ok but you cannot say budget friendly.

Guests rave about their experiences in the spacious Machaan rooms, which are elevated wooden accommodations that provide comfort and cleanliness amidst lush surroundings. The resort's team, led by the amiable Raju, ensures a warm welcome and exceptional service throughout your stay.
Amazing experience at Tiger n Woods Resort! The staff is incredibly polite and always greets you with a smile, which instantly makes you feel welcome. The food is simple yet absolutely delicious—comforting and satisfying after a day of adventure. One thoughtful touch is the breakfast basket they pack for guests heading out on the early morning safari. It's well put together and adds to the overall great experience. Highly recommended for anyone heading to Pench!

Service, Hospitality, Food, Manager, Staff, Pricing everything is good. The only and Main problem is the Property Rooms, Infrastructure, Bugs, Flies, Lizards, Equipments, Locks. They really need to work on these areas to match up. I didn't want to give this review since the people were really good and loved talking and being with them but then I also want them to work hard to enhance and take the advantage of the big area that too in the deepest buffer location.

The food quality was delicious, well balanced cooked foods. The resort kitchen headed by shubham deshmukh and his staff were outstanding. We stayed one night in Royal deluxe suite with attached plunge pool one night in machan both experience was thrilling.

Very cosy and serene place away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The host Mr. Raju Podiyal and associated staff are very courteous. Food quality is quite good, except that sweets need to improvised. Bonfire arrangment is available. Karaoke system is also available for musical, vocal singing sessions during evening near the garden area. However, the existing Karaoke System is not satisfactory and gets disconnected frequently, much to the disappointment of singers and audience. A new better quality Karaoke System has been purchased immediately, conveyed the same to Mr. Raju Podiyal. Can plan for another visit.

Pench National Park

National park
Nature & Parks
The Pench River winds through this protected national park with tigers, elephants, gaur & leopards.
It’s very skeptic experience… Not much of animals were there to be seen… Due to its vast area, only 5% can be converted in 4 hours… though not much of bad kind of experience… but yes it’s very good to have a day out of our concrete jungle to nature…soothingly good
Amit K — Google review
Absolutely amazing experience.. Park was so beautiful and green. However did not see a Tiger but saw a Leopard.. Pench is the land of The Jungle Book and is famous for Mowgli and its Bagheera (Black Leopard). The black leopard is actually present in the Park but is very hard to spot… Amazing Pench!!!!
Anshuman J — Google review
Pench National Park, located on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, is one of the most beautiful and wildlife-rich forests in India. I recently visited, and it was an unforgettable experience! The jungle safari through the dense forest was thrilling—we spotted deer, langurs, wild boars, and a variety of birds. Though we didn’t see a tiger, the excitement of the search was worth it! The park is well-organized with trained guides and naturalists who share interesting facts about flora and fauna. The landscape is straight out of a nature documentary, with open meadows, teak forests, and riverbanks. This park is also known for inspiring Rudyard Kipling’s "The Jungle Book", which makes it even more special for literature and wildlife lovers. Facilities at the entry gates are good, and there are plenty of eco-resorts nearby. Perfect for families, photographers, adventure seekers, and nature lovers. Highly recommended for a peaceful and adventurous wildlife getaway in central India.

Entered from Turia Gate. Safari Starts at 6.45 AM after official formalities. The Safari lasts for about 4.30 hours. There are several interesting points near the Pench river. Scenery is eyegasmic. Many birds. If you are after Tiger Sighting ONLY, you may be disappointed. But if tiger is just one of the options and you are willing to enjoy every bit of jungle, then you will be a satisfied visitor. There is one ALIKATTAS restaurant which serves Aloo bonda for ₹20 each and Tea ₹25. This basically provides a place to have your own breakfast and use washroom. I saw regular animals like dear, jackals, Peacocks etc. But I enjoyed the scenery, the birds chirping etc.

Pench National Park – Where Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Roars to Life Ah, Pench! Not just a national park, but a real-life, roarin’, prowlin’, leaf-cracklin’ tribute to The Jungle Book. Located on the southern edge of Madhya Pradesh (and spilling charmingly into Maharashtra like a leopard crossing state lines), the Pench National Park is where Mowgli may not greet you personally, but the whispers of Shere Khan and Baloo are very much alive in the breeze. Into the Heart of the Jungle…Literally This park, covering over 750 square kilometers, is named after the Pench River, which snakes its way through the park like nature’s own zipline. It’s an absolute stunner of a landscape — rolling hills, open meadows, teak forests, and plenty of water bodies where animals gather like it’s Saturday night at the jungle pub. But let’s get to the main event — the Big Cat. Pench is tiger territory, and while spotting one is never guaranteed (they’re not exactly into scheduled performances), your chances here are delightfully high. Add to that a supporting cast of leopards, wild dogs (dholes), gaurs, jackals, sloth bears, and over 285 species of birds — and you’ve got yourself an animal kingdom that's part documentary, part safari thriller. Did You Know? * BBC’s “Spy in the Jungle” was filmed here using hidden cameras and elephant-cams to give us intimate glimpses into tiger cub lives. * Pench inspired Rudyard Kipling’s "The Jungle Book", though technically he never visited it. But let’s not ruin the magic. * It’s a part of India’s famed Project Tiger since 1992 and is now one of the most successful tiger habitats in central India. Wild Review: The jeep safari? Bumpy but thrilling. The guides? Encyclopedias with binoculars. The forest? Whispers, roars, and sudden rustles. The tiger? Well, let’s just say he knows you're there... even if you don’t spot him. And when you do, trust me, you forget to blink. Pench is where you don’t just watch nature — you feel stalked by it, in the best possible way. A must-visit if you like your holidays with a side of adrenaline and a soundtrack of cicadas and growls.

Into the Wild – My First Jungle Safari Experience Let me take you on a journey—not just any trip, but a dive into a completely different world. A world where humans are only guests, and the jungle rules in all its raw, untamed glory. This was my very first experience witnessing wild animals in their own home—the dense, mysterious jungle. Our group of 10 adventurers set out from Mumbai towards Nagpur, eager and curious. Three safaris awaited us: one through the lush greens of Turiya Gate (nestled on the Madhya Pradesh-Maharashtra border) and two more via Khursapar Gate in Maharashtra. These two gates may belong to different states, but they open into the same vast stretch of wilderness—untouched, majestic, and brimming with life. Our first safari was in the late afternoon—anticipation ran high, eyes scanning every rustle in the bush. While tigers played hide-and-seek, revealing only glimpses of their tails and backs through our binoculars, we were still enchanted by other creatures: elegant deer prancing through the foliage, curious langurs leaping between branches, the powerful Indian Gaur, and a stately Sambhar deer, quietly grazing. Some moments were too distant for our cameras, but vivid in our minds. As we divided into two gypsies—five explorers each—our convoys merged with a line of others at the gate, engines humming with excitement. A safari typically lasts 3–4 hours in the afternoon and up to 5 in the cool stillness of early morning. And let me tell you: patience is your greatest ally here. While deer and langurs greet you early, spotting a tiger is a true test of will—and luck. Our second safari began in the magical hush of dawn. At 5:30 AM, we set off toward Khursapar Gate. After over two hours of searching and holding our breath at every sound, we spotted a tiger’s face—but once again, it was only through our binoculars, far away and teasingly brief. But then came the third safari—the one that turned everything around. At 3 PM, as the golden light of afternoon began to spill through the canopy, we returned to Khursapar. There, by an artificial water pond, she waited—Tigress B2. Majestic, calm, and powerful. As if that wasn’t enough, her cubs began to appear one by one, walking slowly toward her. We didn’t need binoculars this time—this was up close, heart-pounding, eyes-wide-open magic. We watched, awestruck, as all five tigers—mother and her four cubs—chilled in the water, basking in the sun like royalty. As sunset approached, they began to move—time to head home. And just then, right near our path, they crossed the jungle road in front of us. That moment—five wild tigers walking into the twilight, just meters away—was the closest, most thrilling encounter I’ve ever had. Our guide quickly fired a burst of shots, capturing what felt like a once-in-a-lifetime scene. In our earlier safaris, we followed fresh tiger paw prints, reading the jungle like a storybook written in dust and leaves. We also learned to trust the jungle’s own warning system—sharp alarm calls by deer and monkeys that signalled a tiger’s presence. It was wild intuition at work, and our guide explained it all with wonder and respect. And yes—we even paused mid-safari for breakfast under towering trees, sipping hot tea as the forest whispered around us. That’s something no five-star hotel can ever match. Thinking of Going on a Safari? Here’s What You Need to Know: • Book in advance, especially in summer (or post-monsoon October)—your chances of spotting tigers are much higher. • Bring a DSLR or long-range camera—some gates like Khursapar don’t allow phones out during the safari (they’ll be locked until you return). • Rent binoculars—they’re game-changers for distant sightings and are available at the gate. • Go for at least 3 safaris—don’t put all your hopes in just one! • Avoid plastic—only glass or steel bottles are allowed inside. Most hotels provide this. If the jungle calls you, don’t ignore it.

Not at all recommended for this place. And Better book offline, For Permit pricing is 1200 Guide 480 And Vehicle charges it is 3000 , Total 4700 for 6 people. If u book online it is 7500 and weekends it is 8500. Even after paying all this , U barely see Deers that's it.... And visible Tigers will be 3 and that to depends on luck people say. Badal Bhoi Tribal Museum

Museum
Specialty Museums
It shows the culture of tribal. Visit to understand their culture at Badal bhoi Tribal museum Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. Best thing is just a minimal charges (5 rupee) as entry fee.
Abhay P — Google review
The Tribal Museum in Chhindwara is one of the finest cultural landmarks of Madhya Pradesh and deserves to be far more widely known. Visiting it is like stepping into a living storybook that celebrates the identity, traditions, and everyday life of the tribal communities of this region. Every gallery is thoughtfully arranged, and each display feels like a window into a unique world. What impressed me most was the sheer variety of exhibits. The museum showcases ornaments, tools, musical instruments, traditional costumes, and beautifully crafted household items that tell the story of how tribes lived, celebrated, and expressed themselves. The dioramas and life-size models are outstanding, creating a sense of immersion that goes beyond ordinary displays. They don’t just show artifacts; they recreate whole scenes, making it easy for children and adults alike to understand and connect with the exhibits. The architecture of the building is equally remarkable, blending modern design with earthy, tribal-inspired elements. It sets the tone even before you enter. Inside, the atmosphere is calm, clean, and well maintained, which makes spending time here comfortable and enriching. The staff members are polite, helpful, and often willing to explain details, which makes the experience even more meaningful. What makes this museum special is not only its preservation of culture but its celebration of it. The museum shines a respectful spotlight on communities whose traditions are deeply rooted yet often overlooked. It’s a rare opportunity to see how art, daily life, and spiritual beliefs intertwine in tribal culture. Whether you are a student, a history enthusiast, a family traveler, or simply curious about local heritage, this museum is a must-visit. You leave with knowledge, admiration, and genuine respect for the diversity that makes India so unique

Jatashankar Temple, Pachmari

Mentioned on

Hindu temple
Nature & Parks
Caverns & Caves
Jatashankar Temple is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site located in Pachmarhi, known for its natural cave shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple features stalagmites that are revered as naturally formed lingams, with one of them resembling the matted hair of Lord Shiva. Situated deep within a hill and surrounded by boulders, the temple offers visitors the opportunity to explore loosely set boulders and warm and cool pools formed by natural streams.
Visiting Jatashankar Temple is a really unique experience. The temple is located right beneath a huge mountain, and it feels quite amazing to be standing under such a massive rock formation. It gives you a crazy perspective of the sheer size of the mountain above. Adding to the atmosphere is the presence of flowing water at the site. The combination of the towering mountain and the natural water makes this temple a memorable place to visit. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth seeing just for its incredible natural setting.
Sagnik B — Google review
We considered going here out of utter devotion and believe me it gives nothing less. The place is hauntingly beautiful, surrounded by serene huge mountains and quite a walk of like a kms. Up and down the hill. Just before reaching the place of worship there are quite many stairs to go down. So beautiful careful with elders and kids there. Easy to get lost so do move in groups together. They have good parking space around so not an issue there.
Sneha B — Google review
The Jatashankara temple, located deep inside the Panchmari Tiger Reserve, is one of the most fascinating and spiritually significant places I have ever visited. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and holds many mythological stories and local beliefs that make it truly special. To reach the temple, one has to descend many stairs, as the temple lies within a natural cave, embraced by rocky hills and flowing spring water. The atmosphere inside is cool, calm and naturally wet, giving it a very peaceful and spiritual feel. Around the temple, you'll find many small shops selling Ayurvedic products, including Shilajit and local herbs. However, I personally chose not to buy them, as I wasn't sure about their authenticity. A fun fact -- if you climb those stairs daily, you'll surely loose weight and body pain, thanks to the steep descent and ascent ! Overall, Jatashankar Temple is must-visit spot in Panchmari for both devotees and nature lovers. The combination of mythology, natural beauty and spiritual peace makes it truly unforgettable experience.
Pinakinath B — Google review
Beautiful natural place surrounded by rocks and greenery. The steps down to the temple let you enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the wonders of nature. A must-visit for nature lovers!
Anandhan S — Google review
One of the main tourist points of Panchmarhi, a must visit. Also it is advisable to hire a guide here ( Charges ₹150-200 for a group), as the guide will tell you the story of the place and will also show u many hidden beauties of the place, which one may miss without someone's guidance. Further itvis advisable to not take small kids / Senior citizens and people with some serious health ailments as one has to go deep inside the valley crossing a long path and 150 steps and then come back. Ultimate beautiful natural place with many stories attached. Please visit.
SAURABH S — Google review
Jatashankar Temple, Pachmarhi, is a serene and spiritual destination nestled within a natural cave, approximately 1.5 km from the main bus stand. The temple is renowned for its limestone cave formations, including stalactites and stalagmites that resemble Lord Shiva's matted hair, earning it the name 'Jatashankar' . According to legend, it is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva concealed himself from the wrath of Bhasmasura . Visitors can explore the cave's cool interior, which houses 108 naturally formed lingams, and admire the ceiling's formation resembling the hundred-headed serpent, Seshnag . The cave also features two ponds fed by springs—one with cold water and another with hot water .

One of the most sacred and visited temples in Pachmarhi, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is situated on the Chauragarh hilltop (1,330 m above sea level), surrounded by the Satpura ranges. To reach the shrine, devotees climb nearly 1,300 steps through scenic forests and rocky paths. The temple is famous for thousands of trishuls (tridents) offered by devotees as a symbol of faith. From the top, visitors get breathtaking panoramic views of the Pachmarhi valley and mountains. Best time to visit is during Shivratri festival or in the cool months (October–March).

We visited this temple on the top of the Chauragadh mountain on last weekend. It took us to reach on the top in 2 hours at the temple on the top. While trekking you can see awesome sights surrounded by beautiful green mountains. Temple is well built with basic facilities. The iconic bunch of Trishuls standing looks so beautiful. Monkeys are everywhere you’ll see during trekking. Beware from the monkeys that aways trying to snatch your food. So, be careful don’t eat when monkeys are revolving around you. Always take a water bottle for drinking and snacks while trekking here. Locals are selling packages drinking bottles too in 2x price. Only, drawback is there is no public toilets we found. From bottom to the top while trekking. Drinking water is not available even a pipeline is going to the top of the temple. Tourists throw water bottles and snacks empty packets everywhere, cleanliness is lacking everywhere. Local authorities should have a look on this things too. Make this natural environment clean and garbage free. Overall, our experience was awesome. Trekking on the trails was fun there. We took so many photos while hiking.

Absolutely gorgeous view I went during September 2025 end. The trek is very tiring but the view is a must-watch. The trek begins with Gupt Mahadev, which I recommend you enjoy the way back. After the Gupt Mahadev, you have a 300 mtr. hike, then the first set of stairs 700mtr. or so, post which you have a round the hill walk, followed by steep 2 kms stairs. I recommend much hydration. The best time to start is at 5am. The highest peak in Panchmari, just wow.

One side 1700 stairs 4.5 km total walking root from bada mahdev parking area.in morning time if u go slow u reach in 2 hours..I prefer to early in morning...don take food with u... because of monkey try to take it from u... They are very hungry.... But they can't attack on u... Very Holy place...u get peace after reaching there...

You need some courage and fitness to get here. You have to cross 3/4 hills and climb around 2000 stairs. The scenic view and calmness of nature from above is worth all hardworking. Visit with friends and family.
Nayan B — Google review
Pachmarhi is a perfect platter for all the travel junkies that offer scenic landscapes, gushing waterfalls, pristine pools and lush green forests. Known for the mighty hills that surround the region, the town is filled with places that can easily take you away from your stressful lives and make your hard-to-get holidays a memorable one. Pachmarhi include the 'Pandavs Caves' believed to be built by the Pandavas who lived here along with their wife Draupadi during their exile, witness the gorgeous sunset at Dhoopgarh. Another point of interest is the stone-formed Jata Shankar cave, deriving its name from the peculiar rock formation that looks like the matted dreadlocks of Lord Shiva. As per folklore, it is where Lord Shiva was supposed to have hidden from the Demon Bhasmasur. Towards the end of the cave is a curious rock formation that looks like the taut hood of a cobra, locally believed to be the 'Sheshnag'.

Christ Church in Pachmarhi is a stunning church built by the British in 1875, showcasing a blend of European architectural styles with Irish, French, and British influences. The red sandstone structure stands out with its Gothic architecture and beautiful stained glass windows. The absence of supporting pillars adds to its allure. Surrounded by lush greenery, this colonial-era Protestant church exudes old-world charm with its tall spire and Belgian glass panes.
Christ church, Panchmari is around 150 years old. This is next to the MPT CLUB VIEW. We are lucky enough to visit inside the church even though it is a weekday. Beautiful place. Peaceful location. Must visit. Ideal place for photography.

Christ Church, also called the Protestant Church of Pachmarhi. This church, built in memories of British General Frankwod Morus by his friends, stands as a testament to the region's colonial past. Constructed in 1875, this Gothic-style church boasts a unique blend of Irish, French, and British architectural influences.

This is one of the old places of panchmani. Presently is not that one point where one can simply roam around and take photos. Looks like a private property. But I was really amazing beauty old infrastructure and a natural location and the nature around. One must definitely have a halt to find this place and get into that era where we never thought of. It is very close to the bison lodge. Happy travelling!!

Shri Panch Pandav Caves in Pachmarhi is a cluster of five hilltop caves, believed to have been carved over 1,000 years ago. The caves are associated with the Pandava brothers from the Mahabharata and are said to have been occupied by them during their exile. Historically, it is believed that these caves were chiselled out by Buddhist Monks for a monastery between the 6th and 10th century AD.
This place is one of the best selling points of Pachmarhi. This is the first in the 4 most point that one should cover as it is closed to the town and it's good to travel anytime of the day. Senior citizens and children have to be careful always as it is elevated. You will find plenty of eateries outside the park. Happy travelling!!!

A must visit tourist spot in Panchmarhi. You can spend 30-45 minutes here. Senior citizens and children might find a bit difficult as there are few steps to climb. Overall beautiful well maintained place with a history behind. Please visit.
Shapath P — Google review
The Pandava Caves in Panchmari derive their name from the five Pandavas -- Yudhishthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadeva -- the legendary sons of King Pandu from the Mahabharata. It is believed that the pandavas stayed here during their exile period, and thus the place itself is called Panchmari, meaning five shelters. The caves are simple in design, carved out of sandstone on a small hill. Some of them feature pillared Verandahs, and while most are plain, cave no. 2 stands out with its simple Chaitya-style motifs on the facade. The door-jamb of Cave no. 3 is also beautifully decorated, with a miniature deity figure carved at its base. Interestingly, an inscription reading "Utkirna Bhagavakena" has been found here, which means "created by Bhagavak". It suggests that the caves were made by a monk named Bhagavak, dating back to the Gupta period (4th-5th century A.D.). Hence, despite the mythological association with the Pandavas, these caves appear to have Buddhist origins. You can also see the remains of a brick structure on top of the hill rock, possibly part of an ancient monastery. Overall, the Pandava Caves are a fascinating blend of myth, history and archaeology -- a must visit spot in Panchmari for those interested in ancient Indian art and legends.

According to mythology Pandavas stayed there in caves. although all entry is prohibited inside of caves. But still gives a beautiful memory. From top of hill you will get all around top view of panchmarhi itself.

Pandav caves are among the most famous places in Pachmarhi, the place got its name because of these caves. The five Pandav brothers took refuge here during their exiles. Well maintained area, caves are covered with grills so you can’t go in. The park in front of the caves is also well maintained. The view from the top is beautiful.

Ratings: 🏞️ Scenery & Surroundings: 4.5/5 🕍 Historical Vibe: 4.5/5 📸 Photo Spots: 4/5 🚶‍♂️ Accessibility/Walk: 4/5 🧹 Cleanliness: 4/5 🧘 Peacefulness: 5/5 Pandav Caves is a calm and quiet spot with a really relaxing atmosphere. The caves are small but hold a lot of historical and mythological significance—locals say the Pandavas stayed here during their exile. Even if you're not too into history, the peaceful surroundings make it worth visiting. There’s greenery all around, and the path leading up is an easy walk. Once you’re at the caves, you can explore a bit, sit for a while, and just enjoy the silence. It’s a nice break from the usual crowded tourist spots. The area is generally clean and maintained decently, though it’s always better to visit early or on a weekday to avoid too many people. A good place for short visits, peaceful time, or even a little photography if you're into nature-meets-history kind of spots.

Handi Khoh, located in the Pachmarhi forest region, is a stunning clifftop destination offering breathtaking valley views and lush forests. This natural wonder features a deep gorge with rugged cliffs and a 300 ft waterfall. According to mythology, it is associated with Lord Shiva's defeat of the demon Bhasmasur. The trek to Handi Khoh is challenging but rewarding, providing an opportunity to appreciate the beauty of nature.
One of the best places to visit in Pachmarhi. This place is around 4-5 KM from the Pachmarhi bus stand. From here one can enjoy the view of Satpura hills. Small local shops present at this place which offers local foods, quick refreshers, maggie etc. If you're visiting this place, try not to throw waste anywhere. During my visit I saw multiple people throw waste anywhere.

One of the tourist points in Panchmarhi , not much to do here. There is a valley between two mountains and that is the view point. Sit and relax here here watching the view and enjoy some local food as many small eateries are here. Locals say that movie ASOKA was shot here.

Handi Khoh is essentially a viewpoint surrounded by trees. Its a natural setting where you can take in the scenery. You can take photos while sitting on horses. If you're looking for a quick stop to enjoy a view and perhaps capture a photo, this might be it.

This is one of the best places in Pachmarhi which could never be missed. Senior citizens please stay away from such places as these are dangerous to climb up and get down. Please be causes when you are working with your kids. Once you reach at the bottom you will find inner peace as mountains from both the sides are looking at each other and talking to you. Happy travelling!!!

Misty canyon viewpoint — perfect monsoon escape for slow rides, quiet reflection, and sweeping photo ops. The trail-edge lookout gives a dramatic view of the green gorge carved into the hills, with clouds hanging low and the air smelling of wet earth. Ideal for sunset or rainy-day visits; bring a light jacket and a camera.* 🌧️

Handi Khoh is a beautiful and must-see spot in Pachmarhi. It's a steep, steep gorge, measuring approximately \(300\) 10 feet deep, and is known as the "Grand Canyon of India." From here, you can see spectacular views of the Satpura Hills and dense forests. According to local legend, there was once a lake here, protected by a giant snake. When Lord Shiva's wrath destroyed it, the lake dried up and transformed into a pot-shaped chasm (handi), giving it its name.

In the midst of nature there lies this fall with immense natural beauty. Although not advisable for very small kids, Senior citizens and heart patients, as there are 400+ steps ro reach there and then come back. Be careful of monkeys and Bees ( rare instances). When u go down and i witness the flowing water in the lap of nature, it's a worth visit.

How to reach- buy advanced ticket and jipsy to reach there. With personal vehicle you have to park it and around 2km journey to be done by walk only. As Name bee fall came from there is huge amount of honey bee comb on trees around the waterfall. But the catch is that they didn’t harm to anyone. Better to visit in monsoon to get huge volume of water there. Greenery and vibes are strong. Don’t forgot to eat mangoes if going by walk in season. I went by walk which was great experience compare to jipsy guys.

Bee Falls (Jamuna Prapat) – Pachmarhi, Madhya Pradesh Overview: Bee Falls, also known locally as Jamuna Prapat, is one of the most popular and scenic waterfalls in Pachmarhi, often called the “Queen of Satpura.” The falls cascade down from about 35 meters (115 feet), creating a refreshing natural pool below — a favorite spot for tourists to bathe or simply enjoy the misty surroundings. Highlights: 💧 Natural Beauty: The fall flows through dense forest and rocky terrain, producing a soft humming sound — hence the name “Bee Falls.” 🌿 Viewpoints: A panoramic view of the Satpura hills and valleys can be seen from the top as well as from the base of the falls. 🚶 Trek & Access: Visitors must descend around 300–400 steps to reach the base. The trek is scenic but moderately steep, so comfortable footwear is recommended. 🏞️ Photography: One of the most photographed spots in Pachmarhi, especially in the monsoon and post-monsoon months (July–February). ☕ Nearby Attractions: A small tea stall and viewpoints are located near the parking area, providing an excellent rest stop after the climb. Visitor Tips: Best time to visit: July to February (avoid peak summer). Carry water and wear non-slip shoes. Avoid swimming directly under the strong current during monsoon. Entry fee: A nominal fee is charged as part of the Pachmarhi sightseeing circuit managed by the Forest Department through the permit issued at Bison lodge in the package.

No visitor can resist the temptation of the taking a bath in B Fall. Bathing pools here are very popular among the tourist of all age groups. A spectacular fall in the stream which provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. The bathing pools above the fall are very popular. Bee Falls, popularly known as Jamuna Prapat, is a beautiful waterfall that provides drinking water to Pachmarhi. It is one of the most scenic waterfalls of the town that flows into the valley, making a tranquillising sound. Tourists frequently visit the bathing pool, which is situated above the falls.
Shilpa P — Google review
I prefer the smaller waterfall before the main one, as it’s less crowded and much quieter. The main waterfall, on the other hand, tends to be overwhelmed with visitors, some of whom even bathe with soap and doing risky things which will cost their life. There was only one food stall available, and I noticed a lot of monkeys around. It's important to be cautious when eating, as they can easily snatch food right out of your hands.

Dhupgarh (Dhoopgarh), Pachmarhi’s highest peak and the best spot for sunrise and sunset views in Madhya Pradesh. Surrounded by the lush Satpura hills, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of valleys, cliffs, and dense forests. Many visitors consider it the most beautiful point in Pachmarhi. A must visit place if you're in Pachhmari. It's at the height of 4420ft from the sea level. The views from here are mesmerizing. You don't need to climb here, the safari vehicle (you have to book it from Bison lodge) will take you to the top and then you can roam around and have some pictures. While going up, you'll find an echo point where you can scream your name and in return you'll hear the same echo. Overall it's worth visiting. Note: People generally come here in the evening but I suggest you to cover this spot during the day itself (If you need to leave at the evening time for your home). Because, the rush in the evening is very high. Sunset, you can cover in the Pandav Caves. (Ask your driver for more information)

is the highest peak of the Satpura hill range and the view from the top can leave you awestruck. From the spiritual surroundings to the top view of the meandering streams, the peak offers views of the lesser Satpura ranges and Vindhya range. The rough scarps along with ravines and clefts give this plateau a heavenly look and this peak is still lesser-known among the many Pachmarhi tourist places. The serene ecosystem and the Dhupgarh Fall are few of the main attraction here.
