The park features artificial lakes with swan boats, as well as various rides and a hotel for those looking to extend their stay. The cable car ride was awesome. Great views. vdn1,500,00, au$9.00, worth every cent. Cheers.

Did not stay at the hotel or amusement park. Just took the cable car up to the common area for the views and some ice coffee. Cable car is 100k per person, not entirely worth it as the area you can visit is limited to the coffee shop. Great views of the city and the beach though.

Neat place and lots to see! Make sure to plan your visit on a weekend, as weekdays feel like a ghost town. I would have loved to experience it in full operation, but even quieter days offer an interesting visit. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want a unique experience.
Fred M — Google review
Didn't go near the animals as it didnt sound very pleasant to go and see. So quiet which was good as we didnt have to wait for any of the rides etc. Rides were super fun! Plenty of choices and things to see and do here!
Claudia C — Google review
We only caught the cable car up to look at the view over Vung Tau. I cannot comment on the park itself. Lovely spit with binoculars for you to view into the distance, heaps of seating area, food and drink k available etc. Cable car was 100,000vnd each, so cheap.
Steve H — Google review
If you're looking for quaint, family entertainment with fantastic views at a cheap price tag, then Ho May Park is for you. It doesn't compare to a Western park but it also costs a whole lot less. A few rides weren't operating, and some were temporarily closed for lunch! The highlight for us was the cable car ride, the Alpine Coaster, Zipline, the 7D experience and the animal park (they were very well looked after). We had a really enjoyable day out.
Karen G — Google review
I bought tickets for my family, 500k/adult but they weren’t worth. 70-80% of outdoor games are downgraded, outdated and unsuitable for whom are over 85kg or under 14 years old. However, sightseeing from the top of Ho May is quite interesting and breathtaking. I think it’s worth paying visiting tickets only, not full package. And you should bring your food along because the restaurants don’t cook well.

Really needs some renovations. It's a good place to spend an afternoon but the bathrooms in particular are quite dirty and smelly..

Outdoor Activities
Front Beach in Vung Tau is a lively and bustling area with a compact stretch of sandy shoreline, boats dotting the waters, and a popular adjacent park and boardwalk. It offers a mix of natural beauty with mountains and rivers, as well as the activity of fishing boats docking after their day's work. The park area along the beach features shady rows of coconut trees where visitors can relax, connect with nature, and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze.
This is not a great beach because this area is a parking area for local fisherman ships, but it’s still a great spot to take a walk and chill.

Unique place in Vung Tau on the water. Beach is very nice but super small as far as beach going. However, would recommend to stop by and enjoy it as waters are calm and there is large swimming area to enjoy. Beach is connected with a park with lots benches , pretty close to food establishments, and there are showers available as well. Very nice place which gets busy in the afternoons with locals enjoying it and the water.

Nice to walk during night time. Peacefull & full of sea atmosphere.

A quite nice beach that people can swim and have a walk along the hall. But keep the beach tidy and clean especially the plastic rubbish.

The area is visually nice but there is absolutely nothing going on i. this part of town. Had some bad experiences in coffee shops here. Not very friendly...

Front Beach is one of my favourite spots on Vung Tau Island. The French had a more romantic name for this idyllic small beach, Coconut Bay. Early mornings are special. Take your camera. The small fishing boats have returned from the night's fishing, and you will see the wives and family helping load the night's catch onto motorcycles, to rush them to the morning fish markets. Take plenty of photos, but do not get in the way. Evenings on the beach are more relaxed and Front Beach becomes the typical tropical beach. Fishermen slowly prepare for another night at sea. Once the sun has set, and most people have left, you might be lucky enough to watch the owl couple hunt on the waterline.

Nice area with a quaint beach and green, clean park. Front Beach was significantly cleaner than Back Beach when I visited on February 10, 2024. If you also want to get away from the worst of the wind and waves, Front Beach sits back enough in a cove to not be nearly as affected as Back Beach is in those conditions. Very small sandy area at high tide but still several families out and enjoying it. The park around Front Beach is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for picnics.

Jesus Christ Statue

Monuments & Statues
Perched on Mount Nhỏ, the Jesus Christ Statue in Vung Tau is a towering 32-meter structure, making it the largest of its kind in Asia. Visitors can reach the statue by climbing 800 steps or taking a motorbike taxi. The statue offers stunning panoramic views of Vung Tau's beaches and is often included in city tours.
🌟 Christ the King Statue - Vũng Tàu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An iconic spiritual and scenic landmark! The climb to the top is worth every step — around 800 stairs, but shaded by trees and with rest stops along the way. Once you reach the statue, you're rewarded with incredible panoramic views of the ocean and the city below. The statue itself is majestic, standing 32 meters tall, with arms outstretched. If you're appropriately dressed (long pants and covered shoulders), you can go inside the statue and climb a narrow spiral staircase up to the arms — a unique experience with unforgettable photo ops. 💡 Tips: Dress modestly to enter the statue. Bring water for the hike. Best to go early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat. Free entry, but donations welcome. A must-visit in Vũng Tàu whether you're spiritual or just love nature, views, and history.
Shanky B — Google review
Sort of a replica of the one in Rio. Been there as well few years back. So I must say that this is a good replica, actually. Nice climb through the stairs. Good exercise, if you love activity tourism. On a hot day though, it'll make you sweaty. So be prepared. I went on breezy day, with great weather. Great views along the climb and from the base level of the statue. The strong wind enhanced the views with more waves in the ocean and more wavering trees. You can go to the top of the statue for a 360° view as well. But that you are not allowed, if you're wearing shorts. Clean washrooms. No tickets required. Not for the elderly, small children and people who can't climb stairs.
Avilash G — Google review
It’s free, so that’s always good. You can make your own donation if you like. The hike up is easy. Much harder on a hotter day of course. But it’s safe and there are railings and paved steps all the way. Many viewpoints to stop and take photos or a break etc. one advice please wear pants and appropriate clothing. I was denied entry into the statue because I wore shorts. Even it seems if it’s not short shorts. There’s also a place you can pray, it wasn’t crowded. A lot of older people and families came than backpackers or young people, Gen Z’s etc. Again it’s free so come.
Marcus I — Google review
I visited the Christ the King Statue on Núi Nhỏ (Small Mountain) in Vũng Tàu, and overall it was a very peaceful and meaningful experience — but a few things could be better maintained. What’s great: • The statue is 32 m tall, with arms spanning around 18.3–18.4 m, making it one of the largest Jesus statues in Asia. • To get there, you climb about 800+ stone steps through a lush, shaded path. • Inside the statue, there is a spiral staircase of 133 steps that takes you up to the shoulders, offering a bird’s-eye view of Vũng Tàu and the coastline. • Under the base of the statue, there’s a historic area with old cannons from colonial times, which adds a nice historical layer to the spiritual visit. • The spot is very serene — a great place for reflection, photos, and enjoying panoramic sea views. What could be improved: • While the lower path and surrounding area are clean and well-kept, the top of the statue (near the arms) seemed less maintained. Some parts look worn, and I think they should invest more in restoration or upkeep. • The climb is not easy: some stairs are very narrow, so it can be a bit challenging, especially for people not used to steep or tight staircases. Tips if you go: • Wear comfortable shoes and take your time walking up — there are resting spots along the way. • Try to go on a weekday or early morning to avoid crowds. • Bring water or take advantage of rest stops, especially if you’re planning to climb all the way inside to the arms. Overall: A very worthwhile visit — spiritually uplifting with beautiful views. But I hope the management gives more attention to maintaining the upper part of the statue.
Baljeet S — Google review
Visited on 20 August late morning as part of my Vung Tau tour. Took around 800 steps to climb up to see the Jesus Christ Statue. Great workout, spent around 20 minutes to climb up. It is very narrow to climb up the shoulders of the statue, might be tough for those who are a bit bigger size. Need to take off your shoes before climbing up, they will give you a locker to keep your shoes.
Vincent T — Google review
Wow…I was honestly expecting a small statue, but this is a towering colossus on top of the mountain! It’s definitely worth making the trip for this. Not only is it quite a sight to behold, but you can also go inside of the monument and climb a staircase all the way to the top for arguably the best view of Vung Tau. There are a fair bit of stairs up to the monument and then also inside of it, but anyone in decent physical shape should be fine. One quick note: Google maps doesn’t recognize the staircase as a legitimate route. As such, if you try to get walking directions to here, the only route it presents to you is to hike the mountain that the monuments sits atop, approaching from the rear and snaking your way slowly up the mountain. That path is fine, but be aware that if you start at the official Jesus Christ Statue Entrance (easily found on Google maps), you can just take a series of staircases directly up to the monument. Additional note in case you do take the mountain (maybe more of a hill) hiking path like I did : for some reason, after you reach the top, they have the path blocked by several signs saying that they are doing construction work and you cannot go further. I was a bit disheartened, but since there’s no actual fence blocking the sides, I slipped through to see if the construction warning was legitimate. As soon as I went around the sign, I was at the main staircase leading up to the Jesus Christ Statue, with many tourists all around coming from the official entrance. Meaning that the sign is completely false…they tell you not to go beyond, but immediately past the sign is a public area allowed to be accessed by everyone 😂 I feel like they may have done construction many years ago and just forgot to remove the signs. Either way, I’ve included and image of them below for all of those accessing via the mountain: just go around the left side and you will be fine.
Michael M — Google review
Beware!! Cover your shoulders and knees before entering or else they make you pay for a whole new outfit. You don’t have to pay for entry. Bring a hat. There are shops to buy drinks, ice cream and souvenirs. The top was worth the climb of 1,000 stairs in 35 degree heat.
Katrina K — Google review
Free to enter Intermediate hike, steps are very forgiving and many rest spots but combined with hot weather is challenging. make sure to have good sun protection and water. Make sure to go to toilet at bottom as there is no other toilets! Also, you may go to the Jesus statue but you will be refused entry inside of statue, as women have to wear pants, men may wear shorts as long as it fully covers knees.

Hòn Bà is a charming uninhabited island in Vung Tau, featuring a hilltop Buddhist temple, rocky beach, and breathtaking scenic views. Visitors can embark on a boat trip during high tide or take an adventurous walk through the strait during low tide to reach the island. The pristine and romantic beauty of nature on Hòn Bà makes it a new must-see tourist attraction.
Interesting experience when walking on the road of stones. I didn't plan to visit but luckily came nearby for the sunrise, as you can only see the road when the tide is going down. You are welcome here but better to dress modestly, and bow as a greeting.
Tâm N — Google review
Can be viewed from Cap Saint-Jacques lookout point or north along the coast from there. During low tide you can also walk out to the little island. Quite beautiful when it’s surrounded by water at high tide.
Anna R — Google review
There is a stone path that appears after low tide and it depend on how lucky you are. Such a wonderful experience!
Tran H — Google review
The hon ba island looks like a stingray, I guess going at the island really depends on the water tide and current as you get trappes in the island. If you will go in thr island make sure to walk along the shores and not on the pavement walkway, the walkway goes up. From the back beach; just walk on the shore until you reach the island, from the front beach you could walk along the walkway but it will be too far so just get a ride to the back beach.

Specialty Museums
The Worldwide Arms Museum in Vung Tau, Vietnam is a remarkable private collection of military arms, uniforms, and paraphernalia from various historical periods and global regions. The museum showcases about 2,500 authentic artifacts from conflicts worldwide, including exhibits dedicated to the Vietnam War, French Colonial period, Chinese history, European wars, and Zulu warfare. British expat Robert Taylor spent 50 years amassing this extensive collection which forms the basis of the largest private weapons museum in Asia.
A very well presented museum of the history of military uniforms and weapons. One of the best I have ever seen. It was my second visit, and I still enjoy every moment. And I will definitely visit it again when I next visit Vung Tau. My favourite section is the Australian area. But to be honest I enjoy the whole museum.
Michaelm M — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous and priceless! This is by far the best and most satisfied museum I have ever been to nationwide. They offer a range of services beyond the tour around a museum built around a very intriguing concept, and the way they have a French colonial house as the front adds to the immersion. All in all a must-visit in Vũng Tàu

A worth-visit museum in Vung Tau. The collection is stunning to see. There'a guide for each section, but I hope they speak slower and give guests more time for a closer look.
Salem S — Google review
My 9 year old son loved the world war 2 guns, I enjoyed the American civil war section and Vung Tau war photos. If you like military history, definitely visit!
Eric A — Google review
World of Arms Museum was an interesting excursion with a wide collection spanning many years. It would be great if they included more exhibits on major local conflicts. I would have especially loved more on the Vietnam War, similar to the experience at the Independence Palace tour in Siagon. Still worth a visit for history enthusiasts. A lot of great information to take in.
Fred M — Google review
Exceptional Collection for Enthusiasts. This museum boasts an truly extensive global collection of arms and military uniforms. The displays offer a captivating look at military history from around the world. It is highly recommended as a fascinating and deeply interesting place to visit, especially for anyone with a keen enthusiasm for historical weaponry and military culture.
Ankeet P — Google review
It was a nice and educational experience for both kids and adults. Our family had a great time exploring and learning how it was before in European countries. How they communicate and survive during the war, different armours and clothing used to protect them. We had the chance to meet the owner, he was so nice and friendly like his staff.

Đình Thắng Tam is an ancient shrine that houses three relics of great significance: Thang Tam Shrine, Ngu Hanh temple, and Ca Ong mausoleum. Built in 1802 during the reign of King Minh Mang, this shrine was initially constructed as leaf-walled thatched houses. The highlight of the shrine is the whale temple, which holds a fascinating tale about how whales saved the locals.
An amazing collection of shrines well worth going in to take a look
Seán B — Google review
Đình Thắng Tam is a historic temple in Vung Tau dedicated to local deities, including the Whale God, which fishermen traditionally worship for protection at sea. While it holds cultural and spiritual significance, I didn’t find it particularly impressive. The architecture is simple with some traditional carvings, and the temple serves as a venue for local festivals. It’s worth a quick visit if you’re nearby, but it may not stand out as a must-see attraction.
Laiju L — Google review
Visited on 20 August morning as part of my tour from Saigon. Learnt about how whales supported residents in fishing. Saw a large model of whale at their main door. When I visited, there were other tours and tourists who were present there as well.

Whale temple was ok, very small so will take last than 10mins. They have the bones of the whale (apparently 18m long).

Small and colourful museum. Rather accessible. You will meet friendly and welcoming staff when going there. I would recommend to look for some info about the museum and why the whale is so worshipped there. And yes, the visit will take max 10-15 min. The entrance is free.

The Monument for War Heroes in Vung Tau stands as a powerful tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of those who fought in Vietnam’s conflicts. Photographers visiting this site will find a striking composition of bold architectural lines combined with lush surrounding greenery, creating a solemn yet inspiring atmosphere. The monument’s clean, modern design contrasts beautifully with the natural backdrop and the expansive sky, offering excellent opportunities for wide-angle shots that convey both scale and emotion. Early morning or late afternoon light enhances the textures of the stone and casts dramatic shadows, perfect for black-and-white or color photography. Beyond its visual appeal, the site invites reflection and respect, making it a meaningful stop for travelers and photographers alike in Vung Tau.

The Monument is located in the city center, a symbol of profound historical and cultural values, closely associated with the revolutionary tradition and heroic sacrifices of previous generations. ⭐️Historical and cultural values: The work is a symbol of gratitude to those who fell for national independence. It has become a "red address" in educating patriotic traditions, helping the younger generation better understand the history of struggle of Vung Tau and the whole country. At the same time, this is also a highlight in the cultural and spiritual life of local people. ⭐️Role in community life: the monument is also a place for community activities, a stopover for visitors when exploring the coastal city. Many tourists to Vung Tau have chosen the monument as a place to visit to learn more about their history

Back Beach, also known as Bai Sau, is a popular destination in Vung Tau known for its stunning landscape and clear blue waters. It offers a cleaner and more serene environment compared to the city's front beach, attracting both tourists and locals for swimming and relaxation. With its three-kilometer-long crescent of golden sand, shallow waters, and gentle waves suitable for all ages, visitors can enjoy various water activities or simply unwind on the shore.
Very much a local's family beach that comes alive late in the afternoons to stand around in the shallow water. Much beachside construction of modern design huge honeycomb type shelters. Also major winding pathway & roadway sidewalk paving.

About 2km of frontage under construction currently west end is clear and usable...dangerous rip currents here so going beyond waist deep is not recommended at this date and time
Stephen B — Google review
The area is still under heavy development so it ain't the most beautiful or calm but it's pretty aesthetic nonetheless and will be great once construction is completed (which it is for the most part). Right now, not much going during day time.
Riog N — Google review
Currently under massive construction. There are no restaurants or food, only a few vendors selling snacks and drinks. At the entrance are water closets and showers. The beach is very walkable, extending 2 kms to the right and several kms to the left. The waves are not large but there is a tremendous amount of garbage on the beach, especially at the high water mark. No efforts are made to clean the beach however after the construction is done next year I'm sure they'll send out cleanup crews. Sadly, there are also numerous tarballs on the beach from the oil rigs off the coast.

The sea view is acceptable, and it is the closest beach to Ho Chi Minh City. Both times I visited this place were for team-building activities. Next time, I should come here purely for sightseeing.

Had a wonder day trip to Vung Tau. Hope the beach (under construction and full of rubbish now) is open soon! This place is just a short trip from Ho Chi Minh City, is a lovely coastal escape! Our family really enjoyed the relaxed vibe. The beaches, especially Back Beach is well loved by locals, seems great for swimming and building sandcastles (but might not appeal to tourist) with gentle waves for the kids. We loved exploring the Christ the King statue, try climbing up for incredible views – quite a workout, but worth it! There are also plenty of delicious seafood spots. It's a wonderful blend of beach relaxation and interesting sights for everyone.

Located in Phuoc Tan Village, Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai province, Vietnam, Sân Golf Long Thành is a 36-hole golf course spread over 350 hectares. It is known for its immaculately maintained courses - the Hill and Coral - which are popular among locals. The club boasts an elaborate clubhouse and luxurious locker rooms.
Three of us played a game here on 6 Jan. The course is well maintained and the cabbies are quite good in reading lines.

Long Thanh Golf Course offers views of both the lake and the hills. I opted for Hill Golf Course, and the playing experience there is distinct from other courses. The quality of the grass and the management are commendable. Due to its popularity, it's advisable to book in advance to secure a favorable tee time. Membership grants you priority booking. Overall, the experience was excellent. However, on the day I played, I had a negative encounter with a caddy who seemed unfocused and was pressuring golfers to make poor decisions. Despite this, the course itself is beautiful, and I hope for a better caddy experience on my next visit. The golf course is conveniently located about a one-hour drive from Saigon. It's definitely worth a visit.

Long Thanh Golf Course is absolutely stunning — one of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played on. ⛳️🌿 The layout is well-designed with scenic fairways, lush greens, and just the right level of challenge. The views are breathtaking and the whole experience is peaceful and enjoyable. The course is very well maintained, and the service from the staff was friendly and efficient. I truly love this course — can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended for golf lovers visiting Vietnam. 🏌️‍♀️✨
Ann P — Google review
Nice golf course with a really good layout. Lots of OB and hazards throughout, and the fairways are pretty narrow, so it’s definitely a challenging track that keeps you focused on every shot. The course is well maintained and the service is friendly and helpful. Only downside was that it was cart-path-only, which slowed the pace a bit. Overall, a great place to play if you enjoy a tougher, more strategic round. ⛳️
Pemba S — Google review
Long Thanh is always a solid golf choice. Both Hill and Lake courses are very well maintained, and they have totally different atmospheres. I can't say I am a huge fan of the clubhouse, though. It looks quite outdated and the restaurant food is pretty bad.
James B — Google review
What an incredible golfing experience. Staff and caddies were some of the best I’ve ever experienced. All the amenities were elite and restaurant was so good. Hire clubs were all new Titleist set from driver to wedge and Scotty Cameron putters. Would highly recommend for anyone who’s travelled to HCM!

Yes. Indeed this is one of the mist challenging golf course in HCM especially the Hill course. The fairway was tide enough to exercise some discipline and course management in order to shoot a good score. Caddy are well behaved and give proper guideline on the green.

Giang Dien Waterfall Eco Resort is a serene outdoor complex located away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh city. The engineered waterfall offers a natural landscape for various activities such as swimming, cycling, row boating, and zorbing. Visitors can also enjoy camping areas and local cuisine at the on-site restaurants. While there are no overnight accommodations available, it's an ideal spot for picnics and a break from city life.
it has been CLOSED since September 2025!!! We traveled there from Saigon and it was all for nothing because it’s closed. I wish they announced it somewhere so people don’t waste their time coming there. I was at the park in 2019 and I remember it was quite beautiful so I hope it will open again soon

We loved our stay although it could have been better if they have rooms or tents for overnight stay. Entrance was 100 for adults and 60 for children. We came for 2 days, had to go out for the night, stayed in an inn, and back the following day. It is inconvenient for guests that they couldn't accommodate for this situation despite they are equipped with spaces and facilities to serve. We were delighted that there were just a few people on the Friday when we arrived but it may be the cause for not having the bed spaces available. All in all, we really enjoyed the place. The place is clean, the guards are watchful, the people around are helpful and friendly except for when I had to contest with the guard at the pool for telling us that it was already treated despite it was a Saturday and it was only yet 3pm. He eventually let us swim, clearly lying to us.

Quiet place today. I think they are not ready to invest this time. However , it is nice views.

Good picnic area and you can swim in the pool but I don't think it worth the pricey ticket (70k entry ticket)

Went with a couple of friends and I think we were literally the only people there as it was midweek. Luckily it has been raining for a while, so the waterfall was in full flow. Mosquitoes made us leave early sadly.

Near HCM city (~ 1hour). Nothing to do there except taking photo or swimming. The place is suitable for group campaigns. Recommend not to visit there during rainy season as water has brown color and not clean.

Battlefields
Long Tan Cross is a memorial site in Vietnam that commemorates the Battle of Long Tan, a significant engagement during the Vietnam War. The site honors the Australian soldiers who lost their lives during this battle. Visitors need to notify the Dat Do District Peoples Committee in advance before visiting due to sensitivities associated with the memorial. The journey from Ho Chi Minh City to Long Tan Cross takes about 2 hours and offers peaceful countryside views with rubber trees and fruit gardens along the road.
This is a historic site for Australian and New Zealand servicemen. It is being maintained by expatriate aussies and RSL funds. I point to the interest engendered at Kokoda and the income generated by pilgrimages there. It really is a missed opportunity. Personally it was a moving experience with a fantastic local guide.
Mark B — Google review
Second time I've been there and it won't be the last, the diggers that fought and lost there lives need to be honoured. A very somber place a lone white cross amongst rubber trees and farmland. LEST WE FORGET.
David R — Google review
Long Tân Cross is a memorial located in a rubber plantation, where there was a battle between Australian troops and VC soldiers during the Vietnam War. On August 18, 1966, just over 100 Australian soldiers from the 6th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment (RAR) found themselves suddenly attacked by thousands of VC soldiers and North Vietnamese troops. Despite being surrounded and fighting in pouring rain, the Australians held their position for hours with support from artillery and last-minute air support from U.S. forces. By the end of the battle, the RAR had lost 18 soldiers, and 24 were wounded. On the other side, VC soldier casualties were estimated at over 245. To honor the fallen, three years later, Australian soldiers erected a memorial cross at the site in 1969, known as the Long Tân Cross. The original cross was removed for preservation and now is displayed at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra. The cross we will see is just a replica but still stands at the original site in Vietnam. The battle of Long Tân became a symbol of courage, teamwork, sacrifice, and survival under overwhelming numbers. It’s commemorated each year on the 18th of August with quiet, respectful ceremonies in Long Tân.

Absolutely loved this trek here. We arrived as a couple were leaving, we were there alone, no tourist buses. It was eerily quiet, then this couple came back, it was Jason, an ex Veteran who proceeded to give an awesome account of what happened there and how he maintains this memorial without funding or real acknowledgement from the Australian Government. Jason also supports funding for the underprivileged children for schooling and supplies. What a wonderful experience
Steve H — Google review
Went here on ANZAC day 2024. Was worried about access etc, but no worries. Australian consulate confirmed no permits needed now, but it remains private land. Very rough dirt road leads to the site and then a formed/paved footpath to the cross itself. Super easy access and the site seemed well maintained. Very memorable if you have a connection.
Cori B — Google review
Out of the way near Long Tan township, access via a gravel road. Worth a visit. Sacred place for Australians

The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram

The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram is a renowned golf course located in Vung Tau, Vietnam. Designed by Greg Norman, it takes advantage of the hilly seaside terrain and offers a natural links-style layout. Golfers can enjoy stunning views of the South China Sea and the Binh Chau-Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve while playing. The clubhouses are excellent, and its proximity to a beautiful beach adds to the overall experience.
⛳ The Bluffs Ho Tram – Vietnam One of the most stunning and challenging golf courses I’ve ever played! The Bluffs lives up to its reputation with dramatic uphill and downhill terrains, strong coastal winds, and breathtaking ocean views throughout the course. Every hole offers a different kind of challenge, keeping the game exciting from start to finish. It’s not just a round of golf — it’s an unforgettable experience for any golf lover. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a course that tests your skills while letting you soak in the natural beauty of Vietnam.
Ann P — Google review
What an incredible course, probably the best course I’ve played at in my limited experience, the caddies were highly knowledgeable and helpful and super friendly. The course itself is super challenging but just in impeccable condition. The club house and change rooms were so nice, and had amazing facilities. We also at dinner at the restaurant which was superb. We stayed at the holiday Inn across the road which was also amazing and incredible value.
Carlo C — Google review
Our group was really excited to play this famous Greg Norman–designed links course, and it definitely delivered a true links experience. The first day was extremely challenging with strong ocean-side winds. We played from the gold tees, and some of the par 3s were seriously long — one was 230 yards straight into the wind and another 240 yards with the wind. The layout itself is tough, with plenty of uphill and downhill shots, and the constant wind factor makes every hole a battle. The clubhouse is slightly smaller than what we’re used to at other major golf destinations, but overall still decent. We stayed at the InterContinental across the street, which was very convenient — just a quick 2-minute drive. Caddies were fine and helpful throughout the round. However, the biggest downside for us was the Marshall. On both days, he pushed our group to speed up even though the course wasn’t busy. We were a 4-ball and the group behind was a 3-ball, so naturally they’d move faster. Being rushed unnecessarily took away from the experience, especially when we were well within normal pace-of-play. Service overall was okay, but compared to other major golf destinations in the region — like Thailand or China — Vietnam still feels like it’s developing in terms of hospitality standards at the top tier. It’s a Greg Norman course with Greg Norman-level challenge, but the service didn’t quite match the same standard. Still, the course itself is stunning, memorable, and incredibly challenging. A great experience overall — just hope the service and pace-of-play management improves for international golfers.
Pemba S — Google review
One of the most challenging and beautifully designed golf courses in the South of Vietnam. You need to understand the terrains, the winds and the high grass to come up with your own game plan. Highly recommended!

My family's favorite golf court in the South of Vietnam. Only 2 and a half hour from the center of HCMC. Very classy design, nice ocean view, top caddie services (they always help to take good photos). Normally less booking on Wed & Tue so that I select this time to play.
Roselyn N — Google review
The course is well designed and well maintained. The strong wind and the blue waters of the sea in this coastal strip made this course one for the memories. We had our dinner at the restaurant in the club. The menu is typical of food options in restaurants at golf courses;good mixture of local and international food. The service standard of the staff in the golf course and the restaurant were very good. The wind and the beautiful surroundings have changed my prejudice on link courses. I had two fluke pars in the first nine and did not lose any balls; perhaps the main reason.
Sam — Google review
1st time visit for a golf tournament after it has been touted as no.1 golf course in Vietnam for 2025.To be no.1, it is not only the design or designer alone. It reminded me of the many Australian public golf courses with not much trees and shrubs except here you don't know which hole is which hole. There are no signages for hole numbers, distance, layout etc at each hole.Even the buggy track have no directional signs and you have to listen out to the caddies shouting behind you to turn or left or straight ahead. You totally lost your sense of direction. We couldn't find any memorable hole here too.Clubhouse is very small by international standard.Marshalls tend to chase you unnecessarily and there were no signages to tell you which hole is for our longest drive, NTP or HIO competition, they need to learn from better organiser. The journey from HCMC Airport took more than 3 hours. All in, it have so much room for improvements before we ever consider coming back as there are so many much much better golf courses in Vietnam and other nearby countries. It makes you wondered how it ever got rated no.1 in the first place.
Kay H — Google review
This is a great ! course. And very challenging. Well maintained. BUT it is very busy and the staff has issues handling the amount of people. On the second hole the Marshall told us to speed it up. We got paired with two people who were just not that good. Then they broke us into two groups, just to have our flight having to wait at every hole as the flight in front of us was actually even slower… when checking out we got charged for three bags of range balls, but we only got two at a range with nobody there… We had paid a LOT also for extras. And then to nickel and dime feels wrong. Again, great course and beautifully maintained. Just operations need to catch up.

The resort offers visitors the opportunity to relax and improve their wellness by soaking in the mineral-rich hot springs, enjoying mud baths, and experiencing the therapeutic properties of the natural hot water. Surrounded by virgin forests, this beautiful resort provides a peaceful escape from city life.
Location is a bit far 2.30 hrs away from ho chi minh city, but once you get there it's amazing, we spent all day trying various springs, like Japanese, Greek, Turkish , coffee bean and tea infused springs. They also have crocodiles which was amazing, you could feed them for a price which was pretty reasonable. Would definitely come again
Krazy3kid1 — Google review
This is my parents’ favorite resort. They're in their 60s and love the hot spring, which is believed to help with various ailments, especially back and muscle pain. I take them here several times a year, and we always stay overnight. My kids love it too. There’s a hot pool where most older guests like to relax, and a cooler pool that's perfect for children and younger visitors to swim in. The breakfast buffet is quite nice. Since the resort is somewhat secluded, we usually have dinner at the on-site restaurant as well—the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The resort also has separate pools and onsen areas for day visitors, but we've never tried them because they require an additional fee. One of my kids’ favorite activities is cooking eggs in a fun, egg-shaped structure where you lower a basket of eggs into hot water and wait about 15 minutes for them to cook. We’ve also gone crocodile fishing, fed wild animals, and taken a ride in an adorable horse-drawn carriage. Overall, this is a wonderful resort for families with young children and seniors.

Took about 4 hours on motorbike from HCM to Binh Chau. You can just buy entrance ticket to use all of the hot springs and mineral pools. For 580k it's worth every penny. To use the mud pools, you have to fork out a little more money. Wish they had explained that at the ticketing counter.

The location is quite interesting to visit but there is not much things to do except for praying service (to expel bad luck and be blessed with good luck). It is more for spiritual purposes so if you wishes to do anything else, I would not recommend. Also beware of the messy snatching from local people who are fighting for providing car parking services - they even blocked me from driving inside the place. Mountains
Tà Cú Mountain, located in Vietnam, is a revered site for Buddhists and a paradise for hiking enthusiasts. The peak boasts the largest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia and offers both a challenging 2290-meter hiking trail and a more leisurely tram ride to the summit. As you ascend the mountain, you'll be surrounded by ancient trees and diverse ecological populations, creating a serene and meditative experience.
Very peaceful place filled with monks and dogs. Lots of amazing statues and pagodas at the top (Sleeping Buddha and many more). Parking and entrance are cheap, especially if you take the cable car only one way or not at all. We hiked to the top and took a cable car to get down. Amazing hike, quite hard in humid, hot weather + the trail doesn't always contain steps (some parts are pure jungle). Make sure you're healthy and bring a water bottle. :)

Beautiful place. You can either hike up the mountain (not an easy option) or take the cable car. We went with the cable car, which allowed us to take in and enjoy the stunning view!!! There is still a good climb and quite a lot of steps still to go even using the cable car but can take your time and take it all in. It is well worth a visit and the steps.
Carol S — Google review
Incredible trip to the pagoda which you can walk to if you feel adventurous (pronounced "suicidal") enough, or you can take the cable cars and choose to live... Seriously it is a trek and it is warm! After the cable cars there is still a bit of climbing to get to the temple and lots of stairs but once you arrive it is worth it! Other reviews mention rubbish laying around but I can honestly say that I didn't see any! Beautiful place
Graham S — Google review
This is a spiritual and tourist attraction. You can hike up the mountain (well-marked trail and not too difficult) or take the cable car to lead to the summit. There is a temple complex in the mountain with the longest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia. Beatiful landscape!

Great hike up, around more than 1 hour if you do a quick hike. Wonderful view when being on top and take the cable car downhill.

A place where you can experience spacious space, fresh air, ancient trees, beautiful scenery and many wonderful spiritual works of Asia. That is the value of visiting when passing by Binh Thuan province. During your visit, you should wear hats, sports shoes, or sandals with straps. Dress in polite and comfortable clothing that can absorb sweat well due to the steep and rugged terrain.
Bình Đ — Google review
I recently had the most incredible experience at Tà Cú Mountain in Hàm Thuận Nam, and I'm still buzzing from it. This place isn't just a destination; it's a journey for the soul, and it's easily one of the best experiences I've had in Vietnam. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the sheer beauty and tranquility. The cable car ride up was a highlight in itself, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the lush green landscape stretching all the way to the sea. As we ascended, the world below seemed to melt away, and a sense of calm washed over me. Once at the top, the atmosphere was magical. The air felt cleaner, and the scent of the forest was intoxicating. The main attraction, the reclining Buddha, is simply awe-inspiring. It's massive, but more than that, it's the peaceful and serene energy surrounding it that truly moved me. I spent a long time just sitting there, taking it all in, feeling a deep sense of peace and gratitude. But Tà Cú Mountain is more than just the Buddha statue. The pagoda complex is stunning, with intricate architecture and a quiet, reverent atmosphere. I took my time exploring the different temples, each one offering a unique glimpse into the spiritual heart of the mountain. The climb to the top, though a bit challenging, was well worth it for the stunning views and the feeling of accomplishment. What really made this experience a 5/5 for me was the overall feeling it left me with. It was deeply personal and emotional. Tà Cú Mountain felt like a spiritual retreat, a place to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life and reconnect with myself. It's a place that inspires introspection and a profound sense of wonder. If you're looking for a destination that offers more than just pretty scenery, but a genuine, heartfelt experience, then Tà Cú Mountain is it. It’s a place that will stay with you long after you've left, and I can't wait to go back.

Linh Son Truong Tho Pagoda is a serene and spiritual place located on top of Ta Cu mountain. It offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for a day trip while in Phan Tiet. You can choose to take the cable car or follow the hiking trail to reach the pagoda. Once there, you'll find various Buddhist monuments, including the famous almost 50-meter laying Buddha statue.
Very spiritual place with breathtaking views. Need to pay 50K VND to enter to Ta Cu mountain. (I’m not sure whether there is an another entrance that you don’t have to pay). Pagoda is on top of the hill. There are two options to climb the hill: you can take cable car or you can follow the hiking trail.

This place is beautiful, great place to spend half a day with your family if you go. You get a very nice view from the gondola ride up, lots of walking and steps but totally worth the view once you reach the top.
James N — Google review
Went during the midday on a cloudy day, it was relatively okay and not very hot, enough shade to explore the place. There is a parking lot that costs not much, forgot it. But keep the ticket because they recheck it after you leave. There is a package ticket and regular ticket. When asked what package includes, they told me the cable itself both ways. I know there is also a trail. Somewhere I read that it also includes some food but not sure. They gave us some drinks per person as well. Once you enter, right after the gate you can take a mini car instead of walking to the cables but I recommend to walk instead as there are small decorative parks along the way. Then you can go back on the car the same way. The cabins themselves feel relatively safe but it was so hot even though there are windows. Up on the hill, you will need to climb many stairs so wear comfy shoes. You can visit several temples too. There are many toilets and small stores to get drinks. The views were beautiful but nothing extraordinary. The toilets are very dirty but clean only at the entrance. Overall it’s clean until you look down the nature and behind buildings. It’s a huge trashcan and many forgotten how to use bins even though they are everywhere. Overall I liked the place and would recommend but without huge expectations.

Two weeks ago we walked up the mountain. There is a lot of rubbish at the place where the trail meets the cable car! There is also a lot of rubbish around the pagoda, which has been under construction for more than 8 years. There is rubbish around the plant ladder on the way to the Buddha statue! Workers of the place do not monitor the order of the adjacent territories. We left a donation. Hope they can allocate funds to clean up this beautiful park

It's a pagoda, just like any other's. When i was here, there are not much people come along, you can hear the sounds of nature, of course... i saw two monkeys, a little creepy, and tired of crawling on the stairs to the Buddha statues. when you're here, you are in peace, remember to bring an umbrella and sunscreen... It's hot and sunny... you should come here in the morning or afternoon, NOT at noon❌❌❌. And PLEASE help raise a BIT of money, a few dollars may be, not to much, to complete the builds of the pagoda...

Sora K — Google review
It's a pagoda, just like any other's. When i was here, there are not much people come along, you can hear the sounds of nature, of course... i saw two monkeys, a little creepy, and tired of crawling on the stairs to the Buddha statues. when you're here, you are in peace, remember to bring an umbrella and sunscreen... It's hot and sunny... you should come here in the morning or afternoon, NOT at noon❌❌❌. And PLEASE help raise a BIT of money, a few dollars may be, not to much, to complete the builds of the pagoda...

Very nice place for a day trip while in Phan Tiet, lovely view and a lot of Buddhist monuments. The most famous being the almost 50meter laying Buddah.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Kê Gà Lighthouse, also known as "The Gods Eye," is a stunning stone lighthouse perched on colorful rock formations overlooking the ocean and white beaches. Located about 30km south of Phan Thiet, this spectacular lighthouse dates back to the French era and stands at an impressive height of 64 meters. Accessible by hiring a boat operator, it sits on a rocky islet just off the shore and offers breathtaking views.
Unique spot near Mui Ne to visit . You can rent a roller to go there and rent a boat to go to the lighthouse , it’s very cheap , we pay about 10€ for 3 people . The island have only few visitors , so if you are lucky , you would be the only one there . So far away from the tourist spot .
Thao N — Google review
I had an amazing time at Mũi Kê Gà! The water was crystal clear, the sand was soft and clean, and the entire area felt safe and peaceful. Whether you’re looking to relax under the sun, take a refreshing swim, or go for a walk along the shoreline, this beach has it all. There were plenty of spots to set up a towel or umbrella, and the vibe was peaceful — not too crowded, even during peak hours. I also appreciated how clean the facilities were, and there were some great food vendors nearby offering everything from fresh seafood to cold drinks. Sunset here is absolutely stunning — definitely worth staying for. I’d highly recommend this beach to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway or a fun day trip with friends and family. Can’t wait to come back!
Nathan N — Google review
This spectacular lighthouse was built in the 19th century, French era. Many years ago, visitors still allowed to ascend the lighthouse, but I heard its nt allowed now. Seem like not many visitors, the beaches around this area were quiet and peaceful.

First time at Ke Ga lighthouse this past weekend + I was blown away by the white powered sand, sky blue clear water + gorgeous bay dotted with fishing boats. Best beach I have seen so far in this great country ❤️🇻🇳❤️ it’s only 4 hours away from HCMC. Will definitely go back. I wonder if I can camp on the beach 🏖 🤔

This place is simply amazing. No... No... No... You are gonna have some breathtaking moment near the KeGa lighthouse. It is located on the island which is 5 minutes away from the coast by boat. The island is beautiful itself. For me it was like I am the character of "The Lord of the Rings" movie. Great! 5 star in my opinion.

Really nice place of Phan Thiet city. Because it's far from city center, not so many people visit here. The boat will take you to the lighthouse, because the safety reason, you can't climb up to the top anymore. The beach is beautiful and not crowded like Mui Ne.
Ho T — Google review
Beautiful place with a lot of dragon fruit plantations. Here you can find a lot of beautiful beaches without any other tourists in sight . But still not so easy to go there as it is not a popular tourist destination. Perfect if you search for a lonely clean beach for away from mass tourism . If you are in Phan Thiet you can take a bus or taxi to go there . I Highly recommend this place if you like it quite.

Museums
The Ho Chi Minh Museum is a must-visit for those interested in Vietnamese history. It showcases exhibits and memorabilia chronicling the life and legacy of the renowned Vietnamese Communist leader, Hồ Chí Minh, as well as his pivotal role in the 1945 revolution. The museum also features archaeological finds from excavations near Phan Thiet. While some visitors noted limited English explanations, many appreciated the overall experience and found it to be an interesting and insightful sightseeing opportunity.
A well-curated museum highlighting Ho Chi Minh’s pivotal role in Vietnam’s reunification. It provides deep insights into his leadership and legacy, showcasing why he is so highly revered.

It feels like nobody visits this place and it looks abandoned. Entrance is free and you have a few floors to walk around mostly featuring only pictures. Not really enjoyable to watch them in the dark and they don't turn the lights on. Half of the explosions lack any translation at all. Probably might take a look if you have no other stuff to do, but I won't recommend you to travel here on purpose.
Ilya L — Google review
The enterence is free. Three floors. But, looks like the workers do not care about people who wants to learn about their history. All windows are closed, no AC, no air at all. 3rd floor has no light. So, if you care, you need to use the flashlight on your phone. Vietnamese "care" and "hospitality" at one place.

Van Thuy Tu Temple

Place of worship
Sights & Landmarks
Van Thuy Tu Temple, located in Duc Thang Ward - Phan Thiet City, is a significant spiritual site for locals and a popular tourist destination. The temple is dedicated to the Nam Hai deity, revered by fishermen as their guardian god at sea. Dating back to 1762, it houses over 100 whale skeletons, including a remarkable 22-meter long one believed to be the largest in Southeast Asia.
Its a nice place to come if you want to see the whale, if you're in the city its worth coming to see its quite a small place so you wont be in long.

Temple built to worship whales. Tour guide can give you details on the history, its included with the ticket, but its only in Vietnamese.

Very interesting, we went with a guide who was able to tell us about the folk beliefs and traditions behind this temple. Otherwise it is an intact whale skeleton which is also impressive.

Interesting visit. Good exhibit. But recommend visiting the temple and seeing the many bones of whales at the back of temple shrine. Worth a look, only about half hour for visit all up.
Michaelm M — Google review
Might as well to drop by if you are already on phản thiết . Ticket is 15,000 vnđ .to get in you would see the big whale bones in the exhibition room .behind it there is a temple that the serve the god and goddess that fishermen worship to. It’s small but it’s something to see in phản thiết
Chi Y — Google review
Whale !!! This is about the Bone of the whale. Apparently, long time ago, whales are worshipped as god of the sea. The fisherman has legend about it. This place used to be next to the beach but now, because the city is over-populated to the point of "invading" the beach, it is in some small roads. The bone looks amazing, giving the feel of something enormous, powerful and mysterious for its sea characteristic. Downside is that they only exhibit the biggest here. One biggest bone. One.

I am writing this review to commend the staff of Phòng Vé Tàu Cao Tốc Phú Qúy Express. During a turbulent journey, the cabin crew showed remarkable dedication by assisting passengers who were affected by the rough sea conditions. I highly recommend this company for future travel needs. The boat offers comfortable seating and bed options. It is advisable for inexperienced sea travelers to check water conditions and consider rescheduling their trip for a calmer day.
I'm leaving this review because the staff deserves it. We experienced choppy water on the way home and the cabin crew spent the entire time standing up in difficult conditions and helping passengers who got sea sick. I would definitely use this company in the future. The boat comes with nice seats and options for beds. My advice that I wish I knew was for people who are not experienced at sea is to check the water conditions and change your travel plans to a smooth day.

When booking tickets, people should carefully read the terms and conditions and ensure they can accept them to avoid force majeure situations. When traveling, it is best to pack neatly and wait patiently for your luggage as soon as you get off the train to get the correct one. I went to experience the Phu Quy train, the safety conditions inside the train are not too luxurious but enough to ensure safety. The train leaves on time. During the moving process, the staff was also very enthusiastic even though when the waves were big it was difficult to move up and down. Occasionally, if there is a guest on the train whose birthday is that day, the train will also give gifts, which I find very meaningful. I am reviewing this when I am planning to schedule my second trip to PQ. (Original) Những đánh giá 1 sao đa số là những hành khách không xem rõ quy định hoàn trả vé của bên bán. The Phu Quy Express train from Saigon to Con Dao is truly an extremely smooth experience, far from what you have heard. The train runs on time "like a nail", no worries about delays ruining your plans. Another big plus is the departure and arrival location. The train departs right in the center of Ho Chi Minh City and arrives in Con Dao right in the center, you don't need to spend extra money or time on a shuttle bus like when traveling by plane. Extremely convenient! The sleeping compartment is spacious and comfortable, allowing you to rest and regain strength after the journey. In particular, the train departs from Saigon at dawn and returns to Saigon at dusk, so you will be able to admire the extremely impressive scenery on both sides of the road. Traveling and sightseeing at the same time, what could be better! Oh, and the most important thing is the cost. The round-trip ticket price of Phu Quy Express is less than the one-way ticket price of a plane ticket! It is economical, has a different experience, and also allows you to see beautiful scenery. While it may not have the bustling charm of traditional markets like the Central Market, Lotte Mart offers an extensive selection ranging from groceries to electronics.

Pretty small shopping mall. There is only one ATM on the ground floor and it did not work when I visited. On the fifth storey you can find the food court and it is small as well with only a few stands. I ordered a plate of fried rice with fried chicken thigh and surprisingly the chicken thigh bone was damn black as it had been frozen for too long and they still sold it for me. Never come back again to this food court. The supermarket on the third and fourth stories is abundant with different items. It can satisfy most of your demands. The bakery on the ground storey served different kinds of cakes and biscuits with acceptable level. If you wanna have some sweets you can come and visit. Price basically is cheaper than in SG.

Po Sah Inu Cham Towers

Points of Interest & Landmarks
Po Sah Inu Cham Towers, a 1000-year-old site, were built by the Champa people in the 8th century to worship Hindu deities like Lord Shiva and Agni. The towers offer stunning hilltop views of the valley and sea. Despite their crumbling state, they are recognized as a national architectural and artistic site. Visitors are drawn to its unique and mysterious architecture, consisting of two pointed towers and a third adjoining building.
Smaller than Mỹ Sơn complex, bigger than Nha Trang Po Nagar but not so well cared for. Buying an entrance ticket for 15.000 VNĐ you get a combo of beautiful path to the hill overlooking the lagune, gift shop run by Cham ethnic minority, Cham Hindu temples (2-3 buildings) dedicated to princess, to Shiva, and then the monument in the memory of the liberation forces attack on a French garrison in 1947, capturing 35 French troops and one machine gun. Further to the cliff there is a small tower standing, the remains of a French house once owned by Bảo Đại, the last emperor of Vietnam.

The Po Sah Inu Cham Towers in Mui Ne offer a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s ancient Cham civilization. Located on a hill, these towers date back to the 9th century and are dedicated to Hindu gods, showcasing the intricate architecture and artistry of the Champa Kingdom. Though smaller and less crowded than other Cham sites, the towers’ red brick structure and detailed carvings make it a peaceful and historically rich destination. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding landscape, including Mui Ne’s coastline, while exploring the serene grounds. While the site is relatively quiet and not heavily commercialized, it provides a unique opportunity to immerse in Vietnam’s cultural heritage. The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and enjoy the site in a more tranquil setting. Entry ticket per person is 15000 VNĐ

We came here with nice weather, an old monk(I presume) walked with us and invited us into the temple, the old one. I believe it’s a place can find some peaceful atmosphere, we just occasionally find this spot on the way we back to Ho Chi Minh city. With reasonable price to get in, and not so many tourists here. Only issue is they need to put some more resources in the maintenance.

Red Canyon is a must-visit destination when in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet. Accessible by bus, the canyon offers a serene experience as you walk barefoot along the shallow and warm river for about 30 minutes until reaching a picturesque waterfall. The eroded white and red sand earth walls create stunning formations, providing plenty of photo opportunities. It's important to note that the entrance is at Vita Garden mini zoo, not at the fairy stream closer to town.
Red Canyon is a captivating hidden gem near Phan Thiet, Vietnam, known for its stunning red and orange rock formations that create a striking landscape. The journey to the canyon involves a delightful walk along a small river path, adding an adventurous touch to the experience. Nature trail walks like this are truly my favorite, and the best part is that there’s no entry fee, making it even more appealing! To reach this beautiful location, you’ll need to rent a jeep, as it’s included in the package that also covers visits to nearby fishing villages and various dunes. Each stop offers its own magical charm, making the entire experience unforgettable. As you explore the canyon, the vibrant cliffs and tranquil surroundings invite you to connect with nature. Don’t forget your camera—every angle presents a picturesque view! If you’re in the area, Red Canyon is a must-visit for anyone seeking adventure and natural beauty in Vietnam.

Nice to explore the little river and sighstseeing of the canyon wall. The “canyon” is not big. I say “canyon” because it is just a steep dune with erosion. At the start of the river there are some souvenir shops and a guy with a snake around his neck. He wants you to take a picture with it and pay 50k viet dong for it.
Joep U — Google review
I saw the trash at the start of the stream and turned back. I decided to wait at the café while my family went ahead. They said the first part of the stream smelled. The canyon itself wasn’t amazing. If you’ve got time, you’re welcome to visit here as it’s free. But I would definitely recommend a pedicure after 😬

Very interesting place. It is worth paying attention if you are vacationing in Mui Ne or Phan Thiet. We drove there from Keg to Phan Thiet for bus 1, then near Koop Market was transferred to bus 6 to Mui Ne and asked to stop us near the Red Canyon. We did not find the entrance immediately, we followed the tourists with another group. There it is necessary to go barefoot, very beautiful. Walk on a shallow and warm river for 30 minutes and at the end a waterfall. On the way you can buy ice cream and water. Entry there is a penny from the local residents, before it was free. The sand is very hot in the sun and there are small snakes, carefully!
