A peaceful hill top temple. Calm and quiet atmosphere. The climb is not that difficult. There is plenty of parking space. The temple timing is from 9 am but you can climb to the top before that. The view from the top of temple is splendid. The architecture was stunning with intricate carving and peaceful atmosphere. It is a place where one can connect with nature, find peace. Temple is overall well maintained. Near the parking down, there is also a giant Anganeya statue which dominates the landscape.

A Peaceful and Stunning Experience at Marudhamalai Temple Visited Marudhamalai Temple and found it to be an incredibly peaceful and divine place, perfect for both devotees and tourists. The entire premises were well maintained, clean, and neatly arranged—credit goes to the temple authorities and the support of local people. We chose to walk up the steps to reach the temple, and although it was a long climb, the journey was worth every step. It became a beautiful experience, especially with my family. The sightseeing and the artistic wall paintings inside the temple were truly stunning—absolutely captivating. The vibrant colors and cultural richness made our visit feel very special. It was a colorful and spiritually uplifting day that we'll always remember.

Echanaari Vinayagar Temple in Coimbatore is a blessing. We visited during our trip to Valparai and were fortunate to attend the 6:30 pm pooja. The idol of Vinayagar is impressive, and the aarthi was a treat to witness. However, there was a bit of a rush, so if you're short on time or prefer less crowd, you might want to plan your visit accordingly. The pooja items outside the temple were overpriced; a coconut, two bananas, and no flowers cost ₹120, which seemed steep. Trustees to have temple own shop and provide reasonable price to devotees The temple atmosphere was serene, and the prashadam, Sakarai Pongal, was delicious. Parking was challenging due to the temple's location on the main road. Despite the pricing concerns, we'd recommend visiting with family and friends. Coimbatore residents are indeed lucky to have this temple nearby. Vinayagar Thunai! 🙏

The journey up is an experience on its own, with hairpin bends that provide a thrilling ascent through the mist-laden hills and dense greenery. Whether you're a road trip enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply in search of some peace, taking a break at this point down the road is worth it. It captures the beauty of Tamil Nadu’s hillscapes and provides an escape into nature's tranquility.

Visiting the Anamalai Tiger Reserve was an unforgettable experience, with its serene beauty, scenic views, and the chill climate making the long forest route truly delightful. The tranquility and natural charm of the reserve are unmatched, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers and adventurers alike. However, one challenge we faced during our journey stood out. The checkpost at the reserve closes at 6:00 PM and reopens at 6:00 AM for safety reasons, which is completely understandable. Unfortunately, we arrived at 3:00 AM on a two-wheeler after a long night ride to Valparai, and had to wait three hours for the checkpost to open. There isn’t any nearby facility for resting or sheltering during such times. As a prominent tourist destination, it would be immensely helpful if the authorities could provide a family rest area or at least a waiting shed near the checkpost. Such an addition would enhance the experience for visitors and make the wait more comfortable. Overall, the ride and the journey through the reserve were absolutely worth it. The enchanting views and peaceful ambiance left us in awe. Despite the minor inconvenience, I’d highly recommend the Anamalai Tiger Reserve for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of nature.

Best place for nature lovers. It was best part of my Kodai visit. It is part of the reserve forest and requires permit to enter, private cars are not allowed inside. You can park your car near the entrance at Moir Point and take forest jeep to reach the lake which is around 10km inside for around Rs.300. Also you can ask your hotel or taxi company for forest tour package which will cost around Rs.3000 to and from your hotel.

Arunachaleshwarar Temple, one of the sacred Pancha Bhoota Lingas, represents the element of fire (Agni). The temple is grand and showcases remarkable Dravidian architecture. Many devotees also undertake the holy Girivalam (circumambulation of the Arunachala hill), which is believed to bring spiritual purification and divine blessings. There are free entry and ₹50 special darshan options available. On a regular weekend, the darshan time can take around 2 to 3 hours. It costs ₹200 per person, and the staff will take photos and videos using your own phone.

Pillar Rock is breathtakingly beautiful! The towering rock formations and stunning views are simply mesmerizing. The scenic spot offers ample photo opportunities, and the surrounding landscape is perfect for a leisurely stroll. A must-visit destination for nature lovers and photographers. This lake is quite vast. Visitors with more energy can enjoy a pedal boat ride, while others can opt for a boat operated by an authorized person. Tickets can be purchased at the entrance. Around the lake, there is a scenic road where people can rent bicycles or enjoy a horse ride in the evening.

What a marvelous temple. We spent a couple of hours in and around the temple which was clean and well maintained. The day we visited was free from massive crowd and so had a peaceful devotional experience. The architecture was wonderful and the ancient sculptures were amazing. The lord himself was gigantic and mesmerizing! Must visit!

We had a divine experience while worshipping this Karpaga Vinayagar for the first time in our life. The temple is awesome and maintained well inside and outside. The Pond and the surrounding are beautiful. The Main Gopuram view was awesome to look at.

We went exactly at 4 PM in the evening, and that’s when the walkway opened, so it was free without any crowd. Lord Murugan is on top of the hill, but there are only a few steps, making it easy to climb. There are small shops around, and parking facilities are available.

It is an excellent beach resort. Just 50 metres from the beach. The resort has entertainment too Rooms are elegant and covered entirely by wood. Actually this cottage has four beds too. Innovatively, the TV is located in a separate annexe without disturbing the persons occupied the bed. The restaurant is too good in a thatched shed under the shadow of trees. Excellent ambience. In Ramnad, no other entertainment except this resort. Swimming pool is very big and we can go for a deep swim. The water falls is also there and children would love it. The room is designed round and covered by wood. Very nice . For a functions, it is a good place for conduct in a open lawn and umbrella type dinings are aso there. Room rent is affordable. Good place to spend with the family.
