Absolutely great place to visit with lots of interesting exhibits and historical information. They also give free beers to paying visitors but the Q was quite long. The atmosphere was very boisterous and noisy with everyone enjoying themselves.

Not a fan of beer but Tsingtao Beer is so iconic, almost a synonym of Qingdao that I couldn't miss this museum. As its peak travel season now, tickets are in hot demand. The standard ticket includes entry to both Buildings A & B and 2 glasses of their beer. They also have tickets with escape game component. Building A is a showcase of the history and culture of the brewery, starting with its roots from Germany, established by the Germans in 1903. Building B is a showcase of the production facility. At the mid point of Building B is where I was served the first glass of Tsingtao Beer and a packet of their beer nuts. There's a cute interactive table in the middle where if you place your glass on it, it'll randomly match you with someone else who does the same across the table, with a message that says Cheers or Drink Up. At the end of Building B is their merchandise store, where I got a scoop of their 原浆啤酒 gelato (¥32, nice, I liked it). They also sell a wide range of merch here from tees to magnets, keychains, pin, to nuts, chips and of course their beer. As you exit the store, you enter their bar and restaurant where you pick up the 2nd glass of beer. Outside the museum there's also the 1903 Bakery, where they sell bread made with the same yeast used in their beer. Next to it is the same gelato ice cream (for those who want an ice cream without going into the museum). Overall I think this place has great potential to be really enjoyable but I must say amongst all the breweries I've visited, this is my least favourite. Purely because of the crowds. Despite the control on numbers with capped ticketing, the entire museum is filled with so many people it felt stuffy in the buildings, despite the air conditioning. It was hard to read the captions with people blocking your view constantly, not to mention even harder to take proper photos. There wasn't enough seating to properly enjoy my beer. But given how iconic the brand is, I don't know if you can truly say you've visited Qingdao if you didn't make it here.

Excellent variety of groceries (Level P1) with a tiny hint of European and North American traditional items. Liquors and tobacco are represented for 5-6 out of 10, but right in store. While being a landmark of Qingdao, during the day its just a monument. However, the area looks stunning at night - with the monument lit up and modern buildings in the background, the area deserves a handful of night view photos!

Would recommend to walk towards Luxun Park 鲁迅公园 and take photos of the Pier from afar with the waves in the background, and with much lesser people. If you are a beer lover, you are going to want to read this. The building at the end of the pier is the building printed on the label of the Qingdao beer bottles (or so I am told). After visiting the Qingdao beer museum our tour bus took us here and I have to say that I do not understand why this place only has a 3.9 star rating at the time I'm writing this. It is a bit crowded but views, the building and street food and performers are more than anyone could ask for. I will post some pictures of when I visited and hope the place is as beautiful and cool for you as it was for my group and I.

It's just a pier into the sea from the Taiping Road promenade. The pagoda temple at the end of the pier is empty n locked up. Plenty of speed boat and water ski scooter rides offered. The place is pretty popular with local tourists and the Prince Hotel nearby is suppose to serve a good breakfasts for its guests as well as other dining options.

I've visited the place in Jan/Feb 2017. It's a low season here this time of the year, but there were a lot of people on the pier, especially during the day. I personally enjoyed it more in the evening, as you can enjoy the night view of the city coast.

I like this place, nice views, you can ride bikes. There also RV camp, you can easily book RV for yourself or family, and you can even do BBQ here. Tiger Hill is one of Suzhou’s oldest historical sites, with over 2,500 years of history. Legend says that after King Helü was buried here, a white tiger appeared and guarded his tomb for three days, giving the hill its name. At the heart of the lush, peaceful complex stands the Huqiu Pagoda, a thousand-year-old tower from the Northern Song Dynasty, famously leaning about 2.3 degrees—often called the “Leaning Tower of China.” This seven-story pagoda, rising through the trees, perfectly blends ancient architecture, legends, and the timeless atmosphere that makes Suzhou so unique.

An exceptional experience at the Shanghai Audi International Circuit. The track is world-class, perfectly built for Formula 1, offering both thrilling racing action and an outstanding spectator experience. The organization was seamless, with clear signage, efficient entry, and easy access to various viewing areas.

tour was very nice and went to paddock, grandstands, briefing room etc. One thing missing is a track tour, like Daytona they should have trams that take you for a roundabout, but since they're resurfacing the track now maybe they will in the future. They also need to have an open merch store, and consistent schedules for tours and gokart track, which was supposed to open but never did. The AC was not on and inside it was sweltering and completely deserted with no resteraunt or anything open which is a missed opportunity. Overall it's a great and cheap way to see f1 track, but they need to capitalize on customer needs more.

Shanghai International Circuit for F1 race event. Consider taking the metro - “Shanghai Circuit” subway station on Line 11 as traffic to the circuit is narrow (1 way in and out) and very congested during these large events.

Very well built F1 track with huge grand stand and lots of facilities. If budget is a factor the best seats are at the K stand hairpin curve. I'd give it 5 stars if those were not occupied by the F1 race in Singapore.

Got the chance to come here for a VIP race in late 2016 and it was awesome. Got to head down to track level and eat some food with the racers. Wicked time. Headed up to the stands to see the beginning of the race and then when it started raining, headed inside to get warm. Awesome event!

Excellent views of most of the circuit, that itself provides plenty of on track action. My only gripe would be some escalators to at least get up a few levels of the very high grandstand, and some better food options, and maybe some beverage outlets in the grandstand itself (on a higher level)

I find park and historical places more fascinating after dark so if you are into that then book a night tour from the west gate which starts around 7:30. It was slow paced and a fun experience (by fun i mean if you enjoy silence, sounds of insects after dark and warm lights) There is a short opera styled musical with a light show (8/10) The guide was friendly and spoke enough english to enquire deeply about the history and significance of the space.

Be careful — as you emerge from the metro, the first long queue is likely for the museum. You need to walk further down the alley and find the Ticket Office, where, to my surprise, they took cards, even foreign ones. This garden isn’t very big, and so it easily gets overcrowded during the weekends and especially during the summer holidays (even on weekdays). The garden itself loses novelty if you have seen Liu Yuan (Lingering Garden), which feels less crowded and hence more relaxed. My four star review could have been 5 had the environment been more relaxed like a Suzhou garden, and had I not seen Lingering Garden. But this is still a very fine specimen.

The crowd control could be better during weekends, and the museum café was a bit underwhelming. Still, Suzhou Museum is totally worth a visit if you're in town, especially for those who enjoy culture, design, and photography. You can combine your visit with nearby Humble Administrator's Garden where both are within walking distance!

Inside, the use of natural light is masterful, creating a contemplative atmosphere that highlights the exquisite collection of paintings, calligraphy, porcelain, and jade. Though the collections are wonderful—showcasing the rich history of the Wu region—it is the architecture that truly preserves the "touch of ancient China" while feeling utterly joyful, modern and fresh. During my visiting in mid-September it offered a quiet moment to appreciate this tranquillity, as I appreciate this piece of a true testament to the timeless elegance of Chinese aesthetics.

So hard to get tickets for this museum. You have to pre-book via their Mini Prog, opens 7 days prior at 8am. Tickets are snapped up in a few minutes! I tried for 19 Aug initially but didn't get it, made the mistake of not setting up my profile in advance so by the time I created my profile, the tickets are all gone. Learnt my mistake and managed to secure a ticket for 24 Aug morning. The entrance is conveniently located at Metro Line 6, Exit 2. Here, you can only enter during your ticket time slot, 11am to 12nn in my case. Got an audio guide for ¥30 (one of the last few as they have limited pieces). The main exhibit is just a small section on the 1st floor while there are other special exhibits within the building at additional cost. This is the most scenic museum I've been to in China. Truly 园林中的博物馆, very Suzhou. The exhibits however are nothing outstanding, perhaps just the 苏绣 section, a heritage, skillful, unique embroidery style founded here. The building itself is the highlight here. This is the work of the famous architect, 贝聿铭, the same man behind the glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum in Paris. The hexagonal windows throughout create such beautiful photos effortlessly. The outdoor garden area is where most gather and probably spent more time than in the museum itself. The route ends at the 太平天国忠王府. From the exit, one can walk to the Humble Administrator Garden and/or Ping Jiang Road. Overall, a good 2.5 hrs spent here. Not much in terms of artefacts but still worth a visit to see the beauty of this museum.

This is the perfect relaxing water town to explore leisurely - beautiful, serene, retains a sense of authenticity, lively yet not overwhelmingly crowded (unlike Suzhou’s famous waterside streets which are so crowded it’s impossible to enjoy). Tongli Town is compact and extremely conducive for exploration on foot. Allocated a full day for day trip from Shanghai. Explore and soak in the atmosphere leisurely (rather than squeezing in whirlwind stop) especially for families with small kids. Took an excellent boat ride, explored a old buildings/gardens, the famous bridges and take a simple but relaxing, pleasant lunch stop at one of the canal side restaurants to sample local cuisine and chat with friendly locals. Lots of quaint coffee shops around town. Ticket buying at tourist centre was quick and hassle free (free for seniors and kids below 1.4m) - tickets for accessing buildings / gardens. 25 min boat ride recommended - clean, well maintained boats, relaxing and nice way to see the town.

Amazing place

A great place to visit when in Shanghai - tourist friendly. We booked a guide to take us before heading to the airport and they took care of everything- tickets, transport and most importantly explaining to us the many special places. Rows of stalls offering snacks (many local cuisines) and souvenirs (including many antique shops and cat/dog cafes) on each side of the river banks. The boat ride (Additional fee) was great to orientate on arrival.

It was a very old town but lots to see if you enjoy cultural stuff. With the clear blue skies, you will be able to capture awesome pictures with the boat and water. A cafe is there too for you to cool down but it is quite expensive. Overall it is quite an experience 😀😀😀👍👍👍

Took the subway here from Huangpu District and it took about a little over an hour. Definitely worth the stop out here and to see Chinese cultural building rather than the modern setup they have now.

Recommend to visit at night time …colorful lighting the scenic grand canal. So many Chinese food stores for trying..yami 😋 good experience on the traditional boat along the canal then back by ancient car …immerse in the charm of Jiangnan. Easy to visit as it is in town .

On our way to Hangzhou we made a stopover and tour around Xitang Ancient Town. It was a long walk but very educational. There were a lot of local tourists and some who were having photoshoots in their traditional costumes. There were also food stalls along the way and a scenic boat ride for a fee. So many areas to take photos and sit. The place brings you back to old China. So beautiful! Toilets can be found nearby. The alleys have cobblestone path and a bit hard to walk on. We ended our walk at the South gate where we had lunch.

This place was wonderful! I spent 3 days staying in a very nice small hotel next to the water(about 30 usd a night). During the day you can walk around checking out the sights or stopping at a local coffee shop to relax. There's also restaurants and shopping you can do. At night you can also enjoy the night views or go enjoy the night life. They have several bars and night clubs if you are into that. Oh and they filmed Mission Impossible 3 here.. Cool!!
