Interesting place, beautiful scenery, lost of colorful light. Would be packing lots of tourist in traveling season
C Q — Google review
An interesting place to visit with access by boat or by foot. There are stalactite and stalagmite formations throughout the caves which are beautifully lit up. Some resemble animals and are named as such. Sometimes referred to as Swift caves as well as Swallow caves, the place was once the place where nests were harvested for bird's nest soup. At the entrance to the caves are the names of the intrepid climbers who once had to scale the high cliffs to collect the nests. Nowadays, while the birds still nest in the caves, collecting the nests, hanging signs and climbing is very much put on for the tourists. Each August 8th, 9th and 10th the “Bird Nest Festival” is held. Some local people will climb up the precipitous cliffs to fetch nests. During the three days, many people gather here to attend the risky but exciting event. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Silver Waterfall Sa Pa

Mentioned on
93 lists

Waterfalls
Silver Waterfall is a must-see natural beauty spot in Sapa, Vietnam. Located 14km from Sapa on the winding O Qui Ho Pass, it offers a stunning view of the cascading waterfall running down from Lo Sui Tong mountain peak. The best way to experience its beauty is by trekking up 300 steps to a bridge that provides a captivating panoramic view of the waterfall and surrounding mountains.
Great view once you climb the steep pathway with stairs. Once up the top, you cross the bridge and walk down the other side. It's very picturesque and worth stopping. $10,000vnd per person entry. It's July. it's the wet season now, so the waterfall is flowing fast.
Raelene G — Google review
Quick break enjoy the water, bird, leave, and wind sound Plenty of stairs, proper stairs, and the fence, the gap between each stair is perfect, making the walk enjoyable, you know some waterfalls have no convenience gap making your knees not happy, but this one is NICE Nice way to have a short break here Thank you
Yoga B — Google review
The waterfall is beautiful and definitely worth a short stop. It’s only about a 15–20 minute walk round-trip from the main road. The path includes a short stair climb, a small bridge, and then a descent back toward the road. At the entrance there is a small fee: 30k VND for adults and 10k VND for children. If you arrive after 16:30, entry is free. A quick, easy, and enjoyable visit! 🌿💧
Rave G — Google review
The waterfall emerges from a steep mountain gorge, with water perpetually descending into a rocky basin below. This constant flow generates a resonant acoustic effect, contributing to the area’s immersive natural ambiance. We totally enjoyed the easy walk up and down the guided steps with handrails for closer look at the waterfall. The whole area is clean and maintained. Minimal entrance fee for visitors. This waterfall about 12-15km from Sapa town. We took Grab and the waterfall is right by the mountain roads. Pools in this waterfall tended to be yellow, akin to rust. Not sure if this is due to the natural mineral content, or due to concreate and rebar being incorporated to stabilize the route of the river. Some pipes were also evident. Not sure, but it could be one of the sources of the water supply for the town. Tap water in the town tastes somewhat metallic.
JR F — Google review
30k entry fee - worth it! Really nice waterfall, the steps aren’t too difficult to climb up and it doesn’t go very far up so don’t be put off. There are 2 or 3 sheltered stops on the way up to take nice photos on.
Leo G — Google review
The walk up to the Silver Waterfall was quick and easy, the road was well built and the view was even better than expected. It surrounded by green mountain and there are multiple resting areas along the way. Entrance cost 20 vnd, child under 6 entering free
Shai P — Google review
Entrance fee VND 20K. 200 hundred steps up and down. Magnificent waterfall but can't go higher. 30 mins or less is sufficient.
Shirley T — Google review
We came by motorcycle. Approximately 25mins from SaPa town. The view is majestic. They have plenty seats to enjoy the view. We paid a fee for 2 pax, can't recall how much. If you bring extra clothes, you can dip your feet or get a quick splash. The staircase is proper & safe.

Fansipan, the highest peak in Indochina, is a major attraction in Sapa. The area offers multi-day hiking tours and a cable car ride to the top where a pyramid sculpture awaits. Visitors can also enjoy stunning sights such as Silver Waterfall, Ham Rong Mountain, and terraced rice fields while learning about the unique traditions and rich culture of ethnic groups like HMong, Red Dao, and Tay.
Absolutely awesome and beautiful, must visit if you are in Sapa, lots of steps if you want to walk, we took the funicular up to the summit and explored on the way back down which was quite comfortable, very expensive for coffee and snacks etc
J G — Google review
Excellent experience and very well managed attraction. Weather clears up and becomes overcast by the minute some days so don't worry if it's misty as it might clear up. Go with the combo tickets that get you all the cable cars and funiculars so you're not exhausted.
Mike X — Google review
Wow! Amazing! Excellent! Still in awe and very greatful that i had the chance to visit this place. I am really amazed how they were able to build this place. From the Sapa sun plaza station, to the monobrail, to the cable car up to the very end. Views, people, experience are all 10 stars. We also bought the package with buffet food via klook so everything is included. Really great experience! Will be back definitely. Just be mindful of weather. Make sure to check ahead of time. If it is foggy, you won''t see anything at all. You must be ready and prepared to be able to go up. Oxygen level here are very low and can be tiring and hard to breathe when walking and going up.
HoodlumHavoc G — Google review
Can be very crowded with tourists as people tend to push each other when boarding the cable car which annoyed me. It's better to go when it's not foggy as during my visit I can't have a nice clear view. Stairs can be steep and strenuous for some. Be prepared to stop by tourists that are busy with photo taking. I think this place can be a bit overrated but I quite like the beautiful garden before going into the cable car station
Steph — Google review
Amazing place to visit. I hiked all the way up, and wow… it’s a lot of stairs. You need to be in decent shape because the stair part is definitely the hardest. I would have preferred a normal mountain trail, but there’s only one way up, so you just have to take it as it is. I did the hike with a guide and a group, but honestly, I don’t think it was worth it. The guide doesn’t really do anything besides walk with you and give you a very basic lunch at the second camp, you can bring something much better yourself. The trail is super clear anyway. There’s only one main path, so you’re not going to get lost. And if you ever feel unsure, just follow the electric line. Before the first camp, there are two small paths, but look for the knife marks on the trees, that’s the correct one. Going up took me about 6 hours including breaks and a 1-hour lunch. Going down is actually pretty easy if you don’t rush, and it takes around 4 hours. You really don’t need the cable car. Just make sure you bring a light because it gets dark around 5 PM. If you start at 7 AM, you should be back around 6 PM. And one more thing, arrange a driver or have your scooter ready. When you finish the hike, there’s no one around 😅.
KARIMI K — Google review
Very good experience that go up to above the cloud, nice view and good whether with sun light and only 9' degrees, enjoy the moment on top, but the only thing is people mountain people sea, and the train and cable car for transportation to go up make us Q for very long, otherwise overall quite a enjoyable moment
Avien T — Google review
A magical place built in the mountains from Sapa. Great place to visit Buy tickets online to save a lot of waiting around. Best to go earlier in the day as well.
Shaun C — Google review
5 stars for the „view“ (if u have good weather), the landscape atmosphere at the summit. 0 stars for everything else. This is commercialization at its finest. From the first to the last second, it's all about selling and make money. It's set up like Ikea in europe. Once you're inside, you have to follow the paths and there are no shortcuts. The Wow Pass for €16 at least prevents long queues at the individual rides. We started at the bottom on a Saturday around 10:30 a.m., because at 8:30/9:00 it was full of people. We thought we had waited for the first bus rush. But that was stupid of us. Next point the cable car close in two days for maintenance. Unfortunately this info was not posted very well. The better time to go up is 2:30 p.m. or shortly before the last train goes up. When it's busy, you end up in long queues at several points, so that a good hour and a half or more can pass without you even getting on the cable car. It's a bad Disneyland at 3000m. :( it’s a shame. The weather itself was not good. A lots of clouds. But this is part of the game on mountains ;) We book the tickets before online @ klook

Cable Car Station – Sun World Fansipan Legend

Mentioned on

Mountain cable car
Transportation
Ga cáp treo SUN WORLD FANSIPAN LEGEND is a cultural and religious tourism area situated on the peak of Fansipan, the highest in Indochina. It boasts a modern cable car system that allows visitors to conquer the peak in just 15 minutes. The site features unique architectural works such as pagodas and Buddha statues. Nestled within the Hoang Lien Mountain Range, it offers leisure activities, attractions, and comfortable lodging.
We had a wonderful experience taking the cable car up Fansipan! We purchased our tickets directly from our hotel (KK Sapa) reception at the same price as the official counters, which was very convenient. The journey involves three sets of tickets: first a funicular that takes you to the cable car station, then the main cable car ride with stunning views, and finally, once you’re near the top, another funicular to reach the summit. I would highly recommend getting the full set — climbing all the steps to the peak can be quite challenging, especially for older visitors or anyone not used to strenuous activity. A tip: depending on the weather, make sure to bring a jacket — it can get quite chilly at the top even when it’s warm down in Sapa. Overall, a must-do experience if you’re visiting Sapa!
Kyle F — Google review
Been on several cable cars in the past, but not one could compare to the fansipan legend cable car. Your cable car travelling through valleys and going up to a misty cloud hidden peaks evokes images of wuxia novels and the journey to immortality past human concerns. Watching yourself rise above visible signs of human habitation, roads, and cities is a philosophical experience in itself, and the descent is also equally fascinating. For our less fantastically inclined friends, the distance covered and time spent on the ride is much higher than most cable cars. The cable car goes much faster than initially apparent as well. Even as you watch the way you zip from one pylon to the other, watching the incoming cable car makes the speed which both cable cars are actually travelling easier to see. We shared our cable car with a party of Vietnamese elders doing some sort of pilgrimage, the peak seems to be a significant Buddhist destination, and I can see why

The sunworld fanspian legend is truly one of Vietnam's produest achievements .a seamless blend of breathtaking natural beauty andworld class engineering.Built by the renowned austrian ropeway company Doppelmayr in collaboration with the sun world group ,the cable car system 🚠 here is one of its kind , gracefully gliding through the stunning fansipan mountain range ,the roof of Indochina. The journey begins at the sun plaza (sapa station),where a monorail takes you from Sapa town to Muong Hoa Station. This short ride is nothing short of magical passing through lush valleys and offering panoramic views of terraced fields and misty mountain peaks.Once you arrive a short 300 meters walk awaits you, but it's filled with charm.Along the way, you’ll find beautiful photo points, including the Love Garden and Animal Garden, as well as vibrant traditional dance performances that add a cultural touch to the experience. Tourists can even join in these dances, creating unforgettable memories. From Haong Lien station the real adventure begins .The cable car 🚠 journey streching over 6kms is a breathtaking ride through the clouds. As you ascend, you’ll be treated to incredible views of the lush green Hoang Lien Son forest, cascading waterfalls, and drifting fog that creates a dreamlike atmosphere. It’s a sight that stays in your heart forever. After this scenic journey, you’ll reach the Pagoda and Cultural~Spiritual Complex, often referred to as Point 2. Here, you can stop for a delicious meal at one of the restaurants overlooking the mountains, while soaking in the serene surroundings. The majestic Buddha statue, elegant pagodas, and peaceful gardens make this a place of spiritual calm and beauty. To reach the fanspian Indochina peak (3.143 meters) the highest point in Vietnam you cns either climb the stone steps or take the Tram. The tram ride is simply spectacular, gliding through the mist and offering stunning views of the mountain temples. Once you reach the summit, the views are beyond words, an ocean of clouds rolling over the rugged peaks of Sa Pa. Standing here feels like standing above the world. On your way down, take time to explore the Buddha Temple and Pagoda complex, and don’t miss tasting Sa Pa’s famous cinnamon cake before heading back via the tram and cable car. Overall the sunworld fanspian legend experience is truly a once in a lifetime journey .a perfect combination of nature, culture and innovation. From start to finish, every moment fills you with awe. You’ll fall deeply in love with the Fansipan Legend mountains, the engineering marvel of the cable car, and the serene charm of Sa Pa.

This is one of the most memorable and magnificent cable car rides I ever had. The station is just beautiful and looks picture perfect. The ride provides you with the views of rice terrace gardens , lush gree. Valleys and mountain vistas. You can also spot some waterfalls and distant landscapes. Overall it is a magical cable car ride. If you are a one family and want to sit together, you can inform at the start of the ride. They shall arrange for the same.

Mind-blowing. Hats off to the engineers and the team behind all the work that went into making this dream like experience a reality. If you visit vietnam and don't experience this, your trip is incomplete. I am still wondering the amount of effort that went into completing this project. You get to witness land, rail, air all kind of transport in one journey 🙏. The safety norms and staff are incredible. We travelled during the peak holiday season yet didn't face any problem. The fee is considerate. One should definitely carry warm clothes and good pair of shoes if you intend to trek to the top. There are many food stalls and drink stations so you need not worry about snacking.
TWINKLE M — Google review
Such a cool experience! This holds the world record for longest cable car ride and highest change in elevation for a cable car! CHECK THE WEATHER! Because the views can be insane from the top on a clear day, but if it’s really cloudy, you’ll be lucky to see your hand at the top! We went on a partly cloudy day and had partial views, but still so worth it! Once you get to the top via the cable car, you have the choice to climb the stairs the rest of the way or take a funicolare to the top. We did the stairs and it was great! Beware, it’s still about 30-45 mins of stairs and is a work out for sure, but it’s a really cool experience! Check it out if you’re in Sapa!
Weslie F — Google review
Spectacular views as long as the clouds don't roll in. Super high tech cable car system, clouds managed reasonably efficiently. Amazing photo opportunities, although nothing organic or historically interesting. Everything was built for the tourists.
Jonathan M — Google review
Loved this place, the topiary and landscaping was heavenly, the Succulents (Cacti) landscaping was simply mind-blowing, tastefully done, plenty of excellent and unique photo opportunities. The altitude and the pleasantly chill atmosphere was a delight. One word of advice - please visit on a sunny day to get the best of cable car experience and 600 steps climb (or train plus 300 steps) view from the top.

Quảng Trường Hồ Sa Pa, situated in the picturesque highlands of northern Vietnam, is a vibrant hub that captures the essence of local life. This lively square serves as a gathering spot for both locals and visitors, showcasing an array of cultural events, traditional dances, and mouthwatering street food. On weekends, it buzzes with activity as residents come together to relax or engage in sports like football and volleyball.
This is a free place to visit and would be stunning if not entirely covered in fog. We visited at the end of December 2024, and it was extremely cold for us—around 8-9°C (we’re tropical people, after all). Despite the chill, we noticed many locals jogging here, and the area was clean and well-maintained. The sight of trees hibernating during winter felt deeply sentimental to me, adding a unique charm to the experience.

This beautiful lake took my breath away~ it instantly brought back memories of my time in Europe. The serene water, scenic surroundings, and peaceful atmosphere reminded me of those charming lakeside spots I used to visit. It’s a hidden gem that feels both calming and familiar. A perfect place to relax, reflect, and enjoy nature’s beauty. There’s even residents jogging around.
Nïcölë H — Google review
This is the place to come for a run or a long walk. The entire path around the lake is walkable. The lake is good for escaping from the noisy city center. There is a narrow path following the shore of the lake and it tends to be less crowded than the main road.
Evgeny A — Google review
Relaxing walk around the lake, enjoyed the scenery of mountain views, peaceful and calm, few joggers and locals only since this was on weekday and off peak season. Breathing in fresh air and even saw butterflies fluttering about. Nice stroll until we reached Sapa Square

It has its charm! I think it would be more beautiful if they would maintain it well as it shows a beautiful facade of the mountain. 🌱💚💙

Embark on the Bac Ha Trekking Tour for an immersive experience in the stunning landscapes and vibrant markets of this region. Green Sapa Tour offers a 2-day trip that includes market visits, village exploration, a boat excursion, and sampling local cuisine. Additionally, half-day treks to villages like Ban Pho, Na Hoi, and Nam Mo are available at varying prices.
Bac Ha is a beautiful little town. If you have time and opportunity to drive around with motorbike, the area has lovely rice terraces and mountain view. The people are much nicer then in Sapa! This place is still not spoiled by tourism. And the prices are less. On the market you must negotiate the price. If you walk away you can arrange even third prise. ;) Enjoy the time there!
Virág D — Google review
It's so far from Sapa. I took local bus to come here and took me 3 hours and half. I really recommend to take tour from Sapa Lol. The market itself is not so big. But they sells so many kinds of things. The always try to overcharge for foreighner even for vietnamese who speak south vietnamese. You need hard negotiation to get normal price. It's anyway one of the communication with local people Lol and may become good memoriea though Lol. Anyway I recommend to have a pink Pho here. It was very nice. I don't guarantee how your stomach is going on though Lol. I was OK though Lol.

Local market, can try local food with " thắng cố, xôi ngũ sắc, rượu ngô " , special market just only Sunday, the palce can go when you stay Sapa, can go by tourism for 1 day or you can go by bus 3 hours and stay 1 night on Saturday with night market
Xuân V — Google review
I actually wasn't so excited about this market. Yes it's colorful and yes is intended to the locals and less for tourists (Plus!), but it looks like other markets in the east. Add to it 3 hours drive per direction, and you get a Meh. So if you've been to a 3rd world market already and you're short on time - you can skip this one.
Shahaf M — Google review
Big Brocade market , big buffalo market and beautiful night market. And you can ride motobike to discover around there. There are many beautiful places with flowers garden and beautiful scenes
Quyen N — Google review
For sure it is a must to see while being in the North of Vietnam. It is only opened on Sundays in the morning. Be aware that you will see a lot of animals being killed and sold.
Lukasz G — Google review
Quite cool, people are much nicer in this part of country, but still once they see you are foreigner they do higher up the price triple or more to you.
Whellow T — Google review
Same purses, scarves and jewelry as other markets like Sapa, nothing very authentic (very touristy). Not worth 6 hours of riding in a bus to get to. If you go..avoid the meat market at all costs. I happened into it while looking at the colorful vegetables and street food (dead dogs on tables) 😢...walked up a hill to get away from it...came across where they sell puppies ...not sure if as pets or livestock. I love Vietnam and the people but this market is very confronting with the dog meat part of their culture.

Bac Ha Market, located in the Northwest of Vietnam, is a vibrant and bustling market that takes place every Sunday. The market starts early in the morning and is filled with a riot of colors as Flower Hmong women come to accessorize their beautifully dressed attire. This market features a cattle market, vegetable and meat stalls, wine vendors, and agricultural products.
Love this place. Yes I do enjoy all kinds of Markets, but Bac Ha on a Sunday is just something special. If you really into learning what's available, either you speak well Vietnamese or have a Vietnamese Person come with you and try to explain to you the many many new Forest Items they sell there. Truly fascinating.

Omg. What an experience. Loved our few hours here. First up. The people. I could sit and watch them for hours. So interesting. Great shopping here. Great prices. But be prepared to haggle. Starting point is usually under half what they first say. If you go on the Saturday you will see cows, water buffalo etc being sold.
Georgie F — Google review
We stopped Here as part of a day trip. Supposed to be the biggest market around and it's only on a Sunday. It was good to see how the locals trade but there were a few not so nice sights such as pigs in small cages, blood from slaughtered animals in buckets and on the road side and many other animals in small cages. But this is their way of life and it's why you travel to see other cultures and how they live. Also the local tribes are selling souvenirs and vegetables grown locally but a lot of it is very same same. Still a good experience and definitely worth it as part of the day out.
Robert S — Google review
This is Bac Ha Market for every Sunday. It is big and have many area ( Vegetables, animal ( Pig, dog, chicken bird ( Singing bird) Buffalo Market ( Buffalo, cow and horse in Market on Saturday morning in Bac Ha town).; food ( Hmong people, they happy to eat at the Market 😋 and many kind of food ( colorful sticky rice 🌾 from the leaf, sticky rice cake, noodles... Phở, Thắng Cố... And rice, corn right..). The ethnic go go market is the most is Hmong, then Tay, Nung, Phu La, Black Dao... Cloths... Many many ☺. So maybe spend at least 3 hours to discover all the place. Mr Huy Trung from Huy Trung Homestay ( Bac Ha).
Huy H — Google review
About 2.5 hrs from Sapa, only on early Sunday. It is a very local market, so don't expect as many tourist souvenirs as in Sapa or Hanoi. Worth 1 -2 hours walking around and people watching.
Joanne P — Google review
🌟🌟🌟🌟 Colorful and authentic cultural experience The Bac Ha Sunday Market offers a vibrant and authentic glimpse into the local culture of ethnic minority groups in northern Vietnam. It’s full of colors, traditional clothes, handmade goods, and local foods. A great place to take photos, try something new, and observe the local way of life. However, it can get quite crowded and touristy, especially after 9 AM. Some parts of the market feel more commercial than cultural, with aggressive selling at times. Still, it’s a worthwhile experience if you visit early and keep an open mind. Great for cultural exploration and photography lovers!
Tin T — Google review
Quite an experience visiting this weekly market. Long drive to get there but worth the visit. Large market spread over a large area selling just about everything! Lots of local produce, medicinal products, local ethnic outfits (being bought by local people, not just for tourists). Food and animal sections. Avoid the animal section if you would be upset by poor conditions for the animals.

We did 7 days trip in north Vietnam with Zonitrip and we couldn't choose better! Our lovely guide Nghia took care of our trip so comprehensively we did not have to worry about anything. Both the guide and the driver were very friendly and professional! After the trip we know that we wouldn't experience even half of what we did without them - she showed us the most secluded paths, introduced to local people, showed the everyday life of Vietnamese people on the countryside (e.g. home fresh noodle manufacture, tea production in the backyard etc). Additionally we didn't know what to expect in Vietnam in terms of vegetarian food, but with Nghia it was no concern at all. Every meal was a feast! Plenty of delicious vegetarian options. Tuan is an amazing driver, very calm and patient. The car was comfortable, he stopped every time we asked, kept the car sparkling clear throughout the whole trip. At first we were a little bit unsure if a guided trip is for us, as we prefer to travel on our own. However it turned out to be simply amazing experience! She gave us as much privacy as we needed, while being around to share fascinating stories or just for a friendly chat. 5 five stars, no doubts!!!

🌸 Message of Appreciation for Our Guide, Ms. Nia Nghia (Zonitrip) 🌸 We are a group of seven friends who recently completed a Ha Giang Hiking Trip in Vietnam with Zonitrip, and we feel truly fortunate to have Ms. Nia Nghia as our guide. Nia is an exceptional guide — proactive, cheerful, and full of humor. She knows her job very well and always takes the initiative to check with locals whenever she’s unsure about something. Throughout our journey, she anticipated challenges ahead and was always there to lend a helping hand. Though petite in size, Nia is full of energy and enthusiasm, even after a long day of trekking! What impressed us most is her deep passion for her work. Along the way, she shared with great warmth and insight about the history, culture, and traditions of the different ethnic groups we encountered. Her passion and compassion made our trip not only fun but also meaningful. We are deeply grateful for her dedication and care. We will definitely return to Vietnam — and when we do, we’ll be sure to have Nia as our guide again! Highly recommended for anyone planning a Ha Giang adventure in Vietnam! 🇻🇳❤️

One of The Most Memorable Parts of Our Trip! We absolutely LOVED this three day, two night trip with Nghia! We started from Hanoi and made our way up north to Mu Cang Chai. We spent the first day trekking to a tea farm up in the mountains and spent the first night at a homestay. We biked through rice fields, met locals and learned a lot about the community. We trekked up in Mu Chang Chai the second day via motorbike, walking and met locals, including our tour guide. As a traveler here, you need to be flexible and willing to experience the trip, even when the conditions aren't ideal. It rained some on the second day, and was very muddy, but I think that gave the day an even better memory. Our meals were also very yummy and we were able to experience all sorts of local delights.

The 4 days spent with the tour organized by Zonitrip were truly exceptional! We visited places that would otherwise have been impossible to visit independently. Everything organized to perfection, from the driver to the places to sleep, from meals with local food to overnight stays. A true immersion in Vietnamese culture and customs! If you also add friendliness, fun and wonderful evenings together to all this, this is ZoniTrip! Great! Thanks for everything

“Very great trip to mount Fansipan !” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 5 days ago NEW Thanks Zonitrip for this great experience ! We climbed the mount Fansipan, the highest point in Vietnam. We were in Yen Bai which is 3hours from Hanoi by bus. Nghia organised everything for us, as dropped us on the Highway at midnight to catch the bus to Sapa ! We were only four in our group, and we started to hike the first day and we slept in the base camp (2800m). Good atmosphere and good people over there ! The guide cooked a great meal for us and we spent good time drinking some local alcohol and beers (you can find beers in the hut but you have to bring your own alcohol wink emoticon The day after we started to hike around 6.30am for 2 hours until the top of the Fansipan. Unfortunately it was really cloudy, like almost every day so no regrets ! We decided to go down by the cable car (600 000 dng) cause of the rain. We had time to visit around Sapa and to meet some locals before to take the bus. The city is really nice even if it's extremely touristy... We went back in Yen Bai around 8pm and Nghia was waiting for us with her husband to dropped us at home. That was 2 really nice days ! Thank you so much for everything ! I highly recommend Zonitrip !

They have a gentle walking trail with trees labeled and patches of butterflies. Passed by the bears they have - super loud. But they were safe. Keep going until the end! The treasure is there. Nature & Parks
Nestled in the misty and captivating landscape, Ba Vi National Park provides a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. The park features well-developed trails that lead to attractions such as the Ho Chi Minh Temple, the Ruins, and the Cactus Dome. It's an ideal spot for birdwatching and offers a great opportunity to immerse in nature.
I had the chance to visit there this summer. It’s a beautiful, peaceful, and quiet place. The temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius. The rooms are all surrounded by trees, offering a surprising view of the Red River in the morning.

We enjoyed our time in Ba Vi National Park . We hired a tour guide but that wasn’t necessary. You just need a way to get there. We just did the walks with the stairs (about 1200 on one side and about 650 on the other) so you can definitely get a great work out. There are several temples along the way up that are active. It’s so impressive how many people walk up to make offerings and pray.

Excellent day hike approximately 65 km from French Quarter in Hanoi. I enjoyed the clean air on a foggy morning. There were very few people and vehicles as I walked up the road and then took the trails to the old prison and the church ruins. It is a rain forest in parts... could hear the rain falling in the deep forest- but it was not raining on me - very peaceful. It was a slippery day and I was happy I brought some hiking sticks... definitely worth the trip 👌

Ba Vì National Park is an ideal destination for nature lovers and explorers. It offers a refreshing green space, fresh air, and a diverse ecosystem. Visitors can explore notable sites such as Thượng Temple, the Ancient Church, or conquer the Tản Viên Peak. Especially in late autumn, the blooming wild sunflowers make the landscape even more vibrant. However, the entrance fee does not quite match the deteriorating road conditions, as some areas have landslides and large sinkholes. Additionally, the shops around the area have very high prices, so visitors should prepare their supplies in advance to avoid buying them on-site.

It's national park in the mountain. There is the gate and ticket counter in the beginning. They charge 60K for entrance, and 10K for parking? at 1100m points? Anyway on the way of heading to the 1100m point, there are some view points. It's high enough to see all landview from the mountain. It's worth to come here even just driving. Anyway please be carefull. It was very cold on the top of the mountain. You should bring your jacket here. I visited May 2025. It was cold on top. By the way, there is a shop at the 1100m point, so good to have Hao Hao noodle there Lol.

The road access to the National Park is under construction, but if you go at lunchtime, when all the workers are eating or sleeping, there will be no delays. Beautiful place, I went there to get off the beaten track and not have to hear motorcycles and cars driving and Honking. ( it’s about an hour away from Hanoi. )

This is a lush, green nature reserve offering cool weather, scenic hiking trails, and rich biodiversity. Visitors can explore a variety of ecosystems, from tropical forests to higher-altitude environments. The park is home to ancient trees, rare plant species, and diverse wildlife. French Colonial Ruins: Scattered within Ba Vi National Park are ruins from the French colonial era, including old churches, villas, and resorts, which give the area a unique historical atmosphere. Temple of Tan Vien: Located near the top of the Ba Vi mountain, this temple is dedicated to one of Vietnam’s four immortals, Tan Vien (the God of the Mountain), making it a significant cultural and religious site.

(Translated by Google) Muong village is beautiful, the people are very friendly. The village has been doing community tourism since the late 20th century, so it's quite professional: hygiene, delicious cooking, and hospitable people. From here you can go to Thung Nai port to visit Hoa Binh lake (about 10km away), go mountain climbing, or pick oranges. The road from Hanoi is mainly highway, very convenient and smooth (Original) Bản Mường xinh xẻo, dân cư rất thân thiện.
