I went here as the first half of a sponsored day trip. I figured 90 min would be more than enought to see a temple. I was excited but didn't expect more than a quick appreciation for the culture a few pretty photos. I was quite wrong. This place was breatiful. Lots of color and sounds and walking (almost hiking, but no more than a mile to the top and back). This would be great for a photography enthusiast. I'm not much of a photographer. I actually try and avoid taking too many photos because I want to experience things first hand. However, that was not the case this time. I couldn't stop taking pictures. An hour is enough time if you're just gonna walk and look really quickly at everything. But I'd recommend at least two if you really wanna explore and take in the beauty. The shop was really great too. Not a lot of stuff and I don't think they take cards, but reasonable price for some really nice Korean-looking decor (I say Korean "looking" because I found a couple made in china stickers).

The area was beautiful and the monks were very nice. I would have liked to see more information on the history of some of the Buddha statues that were in the museum.

Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park

Mentioned on
2 lists
Water & Amusement Parks
Theme Parks
Yongin Dae Jang Geum Park is a renowned tourist destination in Korea that features outdoor film sets exhibiting buildings from the Samguk, Goryeo, and Joseon periods. It is known as the largest historical drama open set in Korea and offers visitors a chance to experience popular K-pop dances and choreography through its K-pop Dance Studio Class. This place is loved by those who have an interest in Korean history and drama.
This is a historical K-Drama and BTS fan's dream, or if you just like to visit sets. Booked this as part of the BTS ARMY tour to see where Yoongi (Agust D, Suga) filmed the MV for 'Daechwita.' Though I don't really watch sageuk shows, I am familiar with "Moon Embracing the Sun", which was filmed there. We had visited a palace the day before, so it was wild to see some of the exact type buildings used here. They did a great job in reproducing the buildings. And as we toured, we realized the 1 show we had seen, which ws historical had parts filmed here. It's owned by the channel MBC, who rents it out to others to film there. And of course, it was amazing to see where Yoongi filmed his MV - being the "king" and "boss" that he is. It's about 1.5-2 hrs outside of Seoul depending on traffic, so I think a tour is best. But if you're doing road trips, then once you get out of the city, it would be a nice drive. If you do the little tour where they drive you around on the cart, you'll be able to see the underground jail area, which we got to see. They still actively film here, but we're not filming this day. So if they are, areas could be closed off, but you might get to see areas like the marketplace set up for filming with goods and props, which would be neat.

An Unforgettable, Exclusive Glimpse into K-Drama Magic at MBC Studio! Our recent visit to the MBC Studio was an absolutely phenomenal experience – truly beyond expectations! What made it particularly special was the incredible stroke of luck: we had the entire bus to ourselves on the tour! This immediately set a wonderfully intimate and personal tone for the whole day. Upon arrival, we were thrilled to discover that the studio itself was not overcrowded at all. This rare tranquility allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in every exhibit and area without any rush. It was genuinely a dream for taking beautiful, unobstructed photos, capturing every detail of the sets and interactive displays. We have so many stunning shots to cherish! The absolute highlight, however, was witnessing the preparations for a new K-Drama firsthand. This was an incredible, exclusive insight that most visitors never get. Seeing the meticulous work, the sets being readied, and feeling the buzz of an upcoming production was genuinely thrilling and made the entire experience feel incredibly unique and privileged. For anyone who loves K-Drama or is simply curious about the magic behind the scenes, an MBC Studio tour is a must-do. But if you're lucky enough to experience it like we did – with a private feel and a peek at a new drama in the making – it's an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime adventure! I hope this review perfectly captures your wonderful experience!

Tricky to get here BUT not impossible. Take bus from Namby bus from Seoul for ₩5,600 then take a bus or a taxi ( taxi stop next to stop) . The location is breathtaking. The place has 2 cities: one town , other is a palace. You can take aa many pictures as you like. I was about 2.5 hrs here. There is a small cafe, and water/juice machines. Watch the weather. Make sure is sunny and if you can: come in Hanbok.
Lucky * — Google review
One of the highlights of my recent South Korea trip. The place is magical for me as a Kdrama fan. I felt like I was being transported inside a movie. I even liked it better than the palaces in Seoul. It was so easy to go here even on DIY
Kamille — Google review
If you're an Army like me and call Suga your bias, then this tour is a must! Daechwita was filmed here, as were many historical K-dramas. Our guide was super good and nice...so we learned a lot of background information.
Aingeal W — Google review
One of the most amazing places I have been. When visiting I just love to spend the whole day here walking and looking around. For someone who loves korean drama and history I really recommend visiting this place, it's a bit far from Seoul but so worth it.
Ique R — Google review
Its pretty far from Seoul, but the way to the destination itself is a good experience. The place itself is beautiful, it reminds me of good old day with Dae Jang Geum drama. And of course as a BTS Army, I came here to visit Daechwita shooting scene. The Park is so clean and refreshing. Such a pretty place.
Perdina S — Google review
So much fun exploring the sets of many historical K dramas, this place is really well built and you could easily spend 2-3hrs exploring all the sets and taking lots of pictures. You can even sit on the throne and see what it feels like to be a king

Oeam Folk Village

Mentioned on

Sights & Landmarks
Neighborhoods
Oeam Folk Village is a beautiful destination that showcases traditional Korean culture through its well-preserved stone huts and community-built canal system. Visitors can tour the old homes, some of which are still inhabited, and enjoy various food options such as coffee, Korean cuisine, and cafes. The village also features English, Korean, Chinese and Japanese signage along with demonstrations of traditional arts. It's a perfect spot for families or couples looking for a romantic stroll through a picturesque location similar to Princess Mononoke.
Our tour included a lesson in making chili paste which we got to take with us plus a lesson on making lotus wine, followed by a home cooked lunch. Our guide handled the translations. The local people were helpful and charming.
Lynn E — Google review
It's beautiful here ! People still live in most of the houses, so it is polite to walk and talk quietly. It wasn't very crowed when we went. It's set among rice fields and mountains, so very beautiful scenery .
Ondrea T — Google review
It was very very hot when I visited here last weekend. Trumpet creepers are very pretty. Standing still despite the hard rain. Plus lotus flowers also already bloomed. Not all but enough to take pretty pics.
Debs3012 — Google review
This place is awesome! Exactly what I was hoping for... very old well maintained homes that you can tour as well as homes that people live in. Some food vendors, coffee, traditional Korean food, cafes etc, sweet little old ladies selling goods. Signs in English & Korean also some Chinese and Japanese. They have people showing traditional arts. They weren't there when I went. It was romantic and pretty amd reminded me of princess mononoke:) good for kids or a date or just a stroll. It's pretty big actually. Def recommend 👌
Emily H — Google review
Lovely little village. Lotus flowers are quite the sight while in season. Be sure to take a bottle of water in summer. Does tend to get very muggy and bugs are no weaklings!

This small town is well maintained historical site, many people still leave in those houses so you can see how Korean country town people leave now & old days. You can wondering around street of the folk village and see many beautiful houses & gardens, some of the houses are open for Han-ok stay & cultural experience programs including natural dyeing, Han-ji(Korean paper) crafts, rice cake making & many others.

Packed for a festival, but that also meant extra vendors. Good thing the police helped out with traffic. Nice views, plaques full of info, and friendly staff. Usually quiet, so parking is usually not a problem.

It's the best South Korea premium outlet featuring 100+ brands. Most of them are international ones that you could find your time spending here is not enough! In winter, it is good to come to buy thick clothes and jackets. This is our 4th time here, and we shall be here often.
Boss L — Google review
Yeoju Premium Outlets is one of South Korea’s top outlet malls, located about an hour from Seoul. With over 270 stores, it offers luxury brands like Gucci, Burberry, Prada, and Moncler, along with great discounts on fashion, sports, and lifestyle items. The open-air, European-inspired layout makes for a pleasant stroll, and I really liked the art installations and sculptures scattered around. There are also a few Starbucks locations on-site, perfect for resting and recharging between shopping sprees, along with other cafes and dining spots. Getting There: Direct shuttle buses from Seoul (Dong Seoul Bus Terminal, Jamsil area) make it easy and convenient to visit. Pro Tip: Visit on a weekday for fewer crowds. If you’re looking for premium shopping, relaxing spaces, and good deals, this outlet is worth the trip!
C — Google review
We joined Klook tour to Yeoju outlet on a Sunday which took about 1hr 15min. We were given only 5 hrs to shop at this huge outlet so we only managed to cover the East block. But we bought so many things at great discounted prices! There is a food court there selling Jap/Korean/fast food too.
Irene L — Google review
A lovely outdoor premium outlet area with various big brands lined up. Has a well designed food hall with various cuisines. Spacious and calm. Lots of parking. Takes about 1.5 hours to drive from Seoul. Do research on the shops available before coming.

Independence Hall of Korea

History museum
Museums
Independence Hall of Korea is a museum that showcases Korean history and the country's independence movements under Japan's colonization. The exhibits are well curated and presented in both Korean and English. Visitors can also experience a 4D theater. Entry to the museum is free, and there is ample parking space available for up to 2,000 vehicles.
This was a great park and museum, very well done, informative and entertaining! This monument to independence was a great reminder of what the independence of a nation can and does mean! Coming from a country myself where our Independence is celebrated fervently, I am happy to see how proud and meaningful it is to South Korea as well! The exhibits were well thought out, cleverly done in places, and take you linearly through the independence movement and history of the great nation of South Korea! Kudos to the designers with interactive, educational, and historically significant moments captured vividly, expressing the emotion involved with the strife associated with gaining one's own independence for their nation! Kids and adults alike can learn and be taken aback by the spectacle of what it means to be FREE!
Bill B — Google review
It is the great place to learn about the history of Korea as well as getting the national pride as a Korean. Also, it has the wonderful nature to look around. Recommend to visit here with kids.
Gatsby — Google review
The Independence Hall of Korea stands as a poignant testament to the nation's tumultuous history, particularly during the period of Japanese colonial rule. Located in Cheonan, this museum meticulously chronicles Korea's arduous journey to independence, showcasing a rich array of artifacts and exhibits. The carefully curated displays offer a profound insight into the sacrifices and resilience of those who fought for freedom. The architectural grandeur of the hall adds a solemnity that complements the gravity of the historical narrative. For visitors seeking a profound understanding of Korea's struggle for independence, this museum stands as an indispensable educational and emotional experience.
Ajleeblog — Google review
The Independence Hall of Korea looks mesmerizing and ecstatically beautiful the day we went there. It was totally covered with snow. No matter how far your eyesight 👁️ goes , you will see only snow, snow and snow. For a moment i felt like i am in some kind of snow festival area. The place is quite and calming. Mountains and trees were covered with snow. Now I have a habit of searching about places and researching about them before i go there. I see the reviews and the pictures and everything so that my money, time and energy doesn’t go to waste. So I searched about this place and i saw a couple of pictures and the place seems to me beautiful but the pictures are of different season and there’s no winter pictures, so at first i was scared whether we should go there or not in winter but i am glad we made the decision of taking the risk of going there. To my amazement we did right. It was beautiful! Now coming to the inside of the Hall there are a number of halls, it was a huge complex so we were able to see only 6 halls. The pictures and videos you can watch below👇🏻 The place has a huge parking lot with 2000-3000 korean won. And the entrance fee to the Hall is free free free😎
Sofia S — Google review
Really nice experience for my history loving child. You need some few hours to actually look through. We did not have much time and couldn't really look everything we wanted. Has plenty of fun activities so the kids can get engaged here and there. Warning- it is farther than you think from the parking. Lol * it is free but there's minimal parking fee.(something like 2 dollars i believe)
NYattitude E — Google review
there is a suitable place to go with family. very suitable for children. I came here on spring. there were some people camping there. many children playing kites, roller skates, scooters, playing bubble, and others. there is a fish pond. the fish are many and very big. there is minimarket (emart) , lotteria , several cafes, there is also a traditional hawker shop called 호두 과자 (hodu gwaja). there is also a museum that will display photos of ancient heroes. 독립 기념관 opens at 9.30 and closes at 18.00.

Muryeongwangneung Tomb of King Muryeong is an ancient royal tomb dating back to the 6th century, boasting impressive design and a treasure trove that includes gold crowns. Located in Gongju, this site offers visitors a unique experience with two main attractions. The Woongjin Baekje History Museum showcases artifacts from the tomb, including a fascinating model of the royal tomb itself.
Very educational place I highly recommend that you come to visit!

Historical site and rich in information. Plenty of parking site. Bring an umbrella in case you come mid day because the walk around the tomb ( outdoor) can be tense.
Fiona M — Google review
Nice place for walking and visiting historical objects. The exhibition of royal tombs is pretty interesting.
Denis — Google review
Nothing to see. Only replicas of tombs made of fake bricks. Same goes for the statues. Imagine you travel 10000 km to go to Rome and you get to see a colosseum made of lego bricks. Honestly I don't know why any tour should waste an hour here.
Sirvano — Google review
I enjoyed my time exploring this museum. It's a good place to learn about the Baekje dynasty and see the actual artifacts saved from that era. The entire landscape also offers visitors an opportunity to take long walks across the hilly platform.

Gongju Gongsanseong Fortress

Mentioned on

Sights & Landmarks
Historic Sites
Gongju Gongsanseong Fortress is an ancient fortress of the Baekje Kingdom, situated on a wooded site with stunning views of the river and Gongju city. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers re-enactments of guard protection, illuminated outer walls at night, and several distinct buildings for visitors to explore. The location also provides ample opportunities for hiking and scenic photo opportunities across the river.
The fortress is a remarkable historical site spread across acres of land, carefully preserved by Gongju City. We visited without knowing much beforehand, expecting to see an intact fort or palace; but instead found the remains of where the palace once stood. The site features informative markers and artifacts that have been excavated over time. Walking along the fortress walls was a highlight, especially when we reached a viewpoint overlooking all of Gongju. >> Overall, it was a really pleasant and enriching experience.
Chetan K — Google review
A must-visit place if you are traveling to Gongju. It is a historical site of Baekje, and you can enjoy a wide-open view while walking along the castle walls. It is also good for a walk. It is worth a visit.
Jung-Woo C — Google review
I went one evening with family and it was lovely. It was a little quiet but well worth visiting for the views of the river and the lights shining on the water. The architecture was well preserved and there was a performance going on. I would certainly recommend to visit if you are in the area and would definitely return during the day to take some better photos.
Martin S — Google review
A walk along the castle walls offers a truly special experience. I recommend visiting in the fall, but the spring cherry blossom season is also said to be beautiful. It was the second capital of the ancient Baekje period. As a result of the relocation of the first capital, it was designed specifically for defense. Be careful of steep slopes and slippery spots along the walk, as you may fall. The paths within the castle walls are wide and safe.
Jamse Y — Google review
The Gongsanseong Fortess is a great place to walk and explore nature. It was both a royal palace and a defensive facility during the Baekje period. If you're interested in history, this fortress from the Baekje Kingdom is worth visiting it. I went on a really hot August day, so I couldn't explore it due to weather conditions. However, I enjoyed every minute of it. It is open until 6 p.m.

A UNESCO heritage site, this ancient fortress involves plenty of steps and walking. It's a great place to visit for both sightseeing and some walking exercise.

Quite a nice place to take a stroll! The fall foliage in particular made it even nicer to enjoy and a good place for pictures. Great for families as well as it's a wide open space with lots of space for kids to run or maybe even have a picnic. Great views of the nearby river and across the river also has a park with flowers worth checking out.

Sangdang Sanseong Fortress

Mentioned on
1 list
Castle
Sights & Landmarks
Sangdang Sanseong Fortress is an ancient compound nestled in the mountainous landscape, featuring stunning gardens, a serene lake and fortified walls that offer panoramic views of the city. This architectural marvel can be reached by embarking on an enjoyable 3.4 km hike from Cheongjuland that takes around 30-40 minutes to complete. While the initial kilometer of the trek may be relatively steep, it eventually leads to a normal walking path spanning 2-3 km.
It's a nice scenic hike. Nothing spectacular, but nice enough to see the view of the city. It took roughly an hour to go around depending on how many stops you make. Definitely wear runners and active wear as I did not do that. Make sure to stay away during the rainy season as it can get dangerous.
Jenny Y — Google review
Loved the place, but wear comfortable shoes because you will walk a lot.
Burcu K — Google review
The parking lot is not that big but this place is big for every one to sit on the mat enjoying the day. Some ppl even bring tent. Maybe it is forbiden here to cook here but you can just bring food and eat it here. As you can see from the picture, fall folliage is so pretty. It is red on the one side and yellow on the other side. Although the gingko leaves are 50%left, some trees even left 10~20% leaves only. Autumn is really perfect time to have a picnic.
Debs3012 — Google review

Can’t believe these hot springs are FREE! We went on a Sunday morning and wasn’t too busy. Make sure to wash your feet before you put them in and wash afterwards. Definitely worth a visit to relax. 2 different section. One pictured and the other is a little further down with different style pools

Wow, a public & free hot foot spa in Korea? Unbelievable. I've never seen anything like this before in South Korea. If you're in Daejeon and nearby this place, definitely consider visiting it. Especially when the weather is cold The instruction on how to use this foot spa is available in English, and is pretty common sense. Let's all practice basic manners and keep this place clean

What a great thing to have. If you're nearby, I definitely recommend spending some time here. The water is so hot, I only managed 10 minutes! They have a great set-up going on, there's even an air compressor to dry your feet.

Definitely a place you must visit in daejeon, particularly when it is cold. It is a great neighborhood to have a Sunday evening stroll alone or with your family & friends.

Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to dip my feet in because of limited space. I could read the faces of people's who were enjoying hot spring. I saw a book shelf with free books to read and relex. Kids were also enjoying with parents. Worthy visit.

Very interesting way to relax during such cold weather. Mostly locals and some walk by foreigners soak their foots. Soak about 20-30mins depending on your own like

This is an area in Daejeon that is famois for the hot spas. In this park like area one can relax with uour feet in the hot spring water. It os also free. They call it a foot massage but no one touches your feet, they are messaged by the water! I also recommend that you walk around in the area and if you wish for a hot bath go to the YouSong Hotel. It is close to this area and lust ask as all in the area know of this famous hotel.

Hanbat Arboretum, located in the heart of Daejeon's urban center, is a sprawling man-made arboretum that offers a diverse collection of trees and plants. Spanning 371,000 square meters, it features 19 theme gardens showcasing 1,787 plant species. The arboretum serves as an educational space for youth and a tranquil green oasis for city dwellers. Visitors can explore pathways, play areas, and a large pond while enjoying the lush surroundings.
Beautiful park with natural and well manicured sections. When I went in the afternoon at the beginning of September there were maybe a couple of dozen people in the entire park, so it was possible to really take in the natural sounds of the birds and nature. The smell of the forested areas was amazing. Best of all, there is no entrance fee. I didn't go inside any of the exhibits since many seemed closed at the time.

**Hanbat Arboretum: A Nature Lover's Paradise!** This place is incredible! From the moment you enter, you're greeted by a beautiful rhythmic fountain and cooling showers. There's even a coffee shop, convenience store, and restaurant for refreshments. It's all kids friendly. For the active crowd: There's a huge paved cycling path with bikes you can rent. Lovely, shaded pedestrian walkways for walking or jogging. Feeling studious? Check out their well-stocked library, perfect for learning about plants and animals. Traveling with kids? They have a dedicated play area to keep them entertained in the library. The jewel in the crown: The arboretum itself boasts a variety of stunning flora and fauna (though I didn't explore the paid ticketed section). Beyond the plants: There's a beautiful natural pond teeming with colorful fish you can feed with bread. Relaxing walking paths with bridges offer scenic views. The atmosphere: Lush trees, calming birdsong, and the gentle sounds of a flowing stream create a truly peaceful environment. Comfortable benches are perfect for a moment of quiet reflection or conversation with loved ones. Heads up for nature enthusiasts: You may spot a snake warning sign in one of the thicket areas. These signs are just a safety precaution to let visitors know that snakes might be present in that area, but they don't roam. Hanbat Bridge: Relaxing walking paths with bridges offer scenic views, including the meticulously designed pedestrian bridge connecting the arboretum to the Hanbat Tower – a true engineering and colorful masterpiece! Overall: This arboretum is a masterpiece! The design and execution are top-notch. I could easily visit here countless times and never get tired of it. **Highly recommend!**

Wow- what a beautiful place. It’s a smaller version of the New York botanical garden but has a lot to see and do! As you enter there are a couple buildings on the right which you can enter. One is a green house and the other is insect research facility with an area with some live animals. (Lizards, bugs, fish). There is also a beautiful cafe on the rooftop of one of the buildings. It’s called the healing cafe. The rooftop has a lot of flowers and small birds and good drinks and snacks. As you go further in, you get to the gardens which are quite expansive and have various different areas. There is a lookout, two large ponds, meditation areas, senses garden and even a large field for kids to run around and play. You could spend many hours here. We stayed for about 2 as we walked through and had coffee at the cafe. Best of all - ITS FREE TO ENTER!!

Thos is a great place to excape the hussel of the day. It is located near the Daejeon Art Museum and is a beautifully landscaped park area with a variety of habitats. There are open lawn areas, ponds, streams and pavilions where one can sit down and watch the surprising amount of wildlife in this hidden enclave. I recommend it as a place to go and enjoy the boardwalks that lead to unexpected scenes. The only negative for me was a little traffic noise in the northern reaches of the park. Daejeon spent allot of effort to make a special location for getting away from the crowds for a few hours or even the whole day as the opening times are long, especially in the summer. Look at the enclosed photos for more information and come and enjoy.

Beopjusa Temple

Beopsang Buddhist temple founded by a monk, Uisin, in the 6th century & including over 60 buildings.
It is a good place for healing. You can see the 3 each giant stone at the left side of this temple. Also in the middle of the temple, You can see the giant Buddha statue. This statue used to be formed a cement material. But after the time pass cement had a crack and moss problem. So They changed a cement to bronze and bronze to gilt bronze.

Beobjusa is one of those places where you start off thinking, “Let’s just take a few photos,” and 10,000 photos later you realize your storage is full. The temple buildings are beautiful, calm, ancient, and surprisingly photogenic (even my camera got zen). The huge Buddha statue looks like it’s silently judging your life choices but in a loving way. And the flower arrangements made everything look amazing. There are little shops around selling snacks, teas, and souvenirs, and the people are so kind it’s impossible not to smile back. Definitely wear comfy shoes, enlightenment comes with stairs! This place is perfect for nature lovers, history fans, and anyone who needs a break from city chaos or too many notifications.

Very cool temple with the biggest Buddha Statue in Korea! Also normally the monks hit this big gong only once every day at 5pm. We had the „luck“ to be there at the same time as about 200 british jamboree children and every one of them who liked got to hit the gong! So we got to experience the gong not only once but about a hundred times while we were there! Kinda annoying but fun at the same time. >ㅇ<

Andong Hahoe Folk Village is a charming riverside village that offers a glimpse into traditional Korean culture during the Joseon Dynasty. Designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site, it is renowned for its traditional mask-making and other crafts. To avoid crowds, it's best to visit during off-peak times and explore the bucolic countryside setting.
Gorgeous traditional village! Definitely worth a visit to see this window into Korean culture. The mask dance performance at 2-3pm is also a must-see. Caught a taxi from Andong Bus Terminal for 27900 won. Although it’s more expensive than the 210 bus, catching a taxi only takes about 20-30 minutes compared to the hour plus on the bus. Stayed overnight at Jisan House Hanok. Really enjoyed this experience. It was a beautiful Hanok surrounded by green mountains. The host even provided rice cakes and coffee for breakfast and helped us call a taxi in the morning.

Amazing to see in person. Nice to walk around and see the different buildings. Incredible that people actually live there. Shuttle bus there and back was a bit too crowded for my liking, but the ride is short…3 min. Well worth the visit.
Cedric C — Google review
Must visit this historical village!!! Getting a car is much easier to approach but there’s local bus to this village.(210 bus, 30 minutes) And if you arrive in Andong station or bus terminal before noon, you would be able to visit Byounsan Seowon(Check time table!!) first then visit this village. For me, renting a bike is better to look around than walking. (Plus you can save time if you don’t have a car!)
Jiin K — Google review
Definitely worth the visit. It is a living traditional korean village. Very historical and fun place to walk around. Loved the mask and shaman history. Made me.feel like we (humanity) were all connected. Highly recommend visiting.

A well preserved Hanok village, showing how the houses and streets were like back in the days. Some people are still living there so be considerate when exploring. The folk village is particularly famous for its mask performances, which is regarded as a UNESCO cultural heritage. However, it’s a little slow-paced for me and I only watched about 3/4 of it. To get here, one can either drive and then take a shuttle bus in, or take bus 210 from Andong bus terminal / Andong KTX station.
Hong W — Google review
very beautiful and super peaceful village. not so much wait for the shuttle but it was in may, week day. if you want to eat, only place where you can find food is near the ticket office, not in the village once you too the shuttle bus. you can go out and come back with the same tickets though and the shuttle takes max 15min (drive is very short but you need to wait either for the bus to be full to leave or wait to get a in)
Lily V — Google review
Although the actual village living area was quite small grouped into a compact neighborhood, it's features pretty much represented the quaint and pragmatic lifestyle of an old era. The location however is absolutely breathtaking, high up overlooking the reservoir and nestled within such colorful vegetation; one couldn't feel sorry for residents of yore lacking in many modern amenities bc they had this terrific vista to feed their soul. It seemed like a real healthy kind of living as well. No wonder Koreans are mostly slim and fit

Haeinsa Temple, situated in the Gaya Mountains, is a 9th-century Buddhist temple that houses over 80,000 wooden blocks with engraved Buddhist scriptures. The temple is located in Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do and can be easily accessed by car from Gwangyang within two hours. There are various restaurants and attractions available at Haeinsa Temple, along with breathtaking scenery.
4,000 won to enter with the car. Beautiful temple with a lot of different parts. You can see the archives via the holes in the wall but it's amazing to see. I parked just after the gate and did the 1,5 hours trek. It's really pretty and there is more to see if you are ready to go around like a temple on top of another mountain that are worse seeing.

This is a beautiful Buddhist temple. It is a very important temple in Korea. It was thankfully not bombed during the Korean War. Orders were given to a North Korean pilot to bomb the temple as it was believed UN troops were using the area, but fortunately the pilot knew the importance of this sacred temple and he only machine gunned along an outer perimeter and did not cause significant damage to the temple, but reported that he had bombed it. There is a river that runs along one side of the temple grounds. The tripitaka library is on the temple grounds. It is best to see the Tripitaka Library for information about the very famous library.
Hayes W — Google review
Visited this wonderful temple during our recent trip to South Korea. It is a very scenic 1 hour bus ride from the Seobu bus station (not from the Dongdaegu bus terminal) in the town of Daegu. There is a short uphill treck to this temple complex. Lucky for us, there were morning ceremonies taking place when we went, chanting, drum beating by a group of monks, and an aerial display of dogfight practice (with flares) by two sets of fighter jets up above our heads. This temple is a UNESCO World Heritage site. There is extensive online writeup - that is a must read - regarding the storage of the Buddhist Tripitaka. Buddhist religious scrolls on wooden boards. Very impressive!! There is also a temple stay provision for those so inclined to immerse themselves in the natural serenity for a longer time. A full day trip (longer if possible) will do justice. Note - while one can pay for the bus trip to Haeinsa Temple by card at the Seobu Bus Station - the return trip has no such flexibility. The return trip is only payable by cash on the bus. Lucky for me, there is an ATM that accepts global cards on the temple premises - where i had withdrawn some cash, prior to our return.
Pranay G — Google review
It’s a massive temple with an amazing UNESCO world heritage. Our guide monk made the concept of Buddhism and the temple’s history very easy to understand. We were also accompanied by a full-time English interpreter, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. While reaching the location can be quite challenging without a car, but still worth a visit for a temple stay if you’re spending quite a long time in Korea.
Moon C — Google review
Each and every Buddhist shrine in South Korea makes a stunning impression and literally transports you to a different dimension. Ancient Zen (Seon) monasteries are usually located in the mountains - in remote secluded areas, which are hard to access. I might have never reached Haeinsa if there hadn't been a cultural program called “Temple stay”, which exists for over fifteen years. Technically, it gives everyone an opportunity to try to live monastic lifestyle for a few days. Philosophically, it is a chance to learn about your true self, talk to your inner self. Haeinsa temple, situated in the Gaya mountains, often embraced with fog, is well-known for being home to "Tripitaka Koreana" - a complete collection of the Buddhist scriptures carved on more than 80,000 wooden blocks. It was here, where I did my "Temple stay". Once you sign up for the program, you have to follow a set routine. First 24 hours at the monastery might seem to pass slowly in the beginning, but soon they actually fly. A monk's day starts at 3.30 am with the tolling of a majestic bell. Visitors gather at the main hall for the morning ritual. The sound of the throbbing Dharma drum reverberates and wakes up even peaceful mountain peaks. There is a morning practice of 108 prostrations and one hour for meditation before having monastic meals at 6 am. There is a prayer at 10 am, lunch at 12 noon, dinner at 5 pm and night ritual at 6 pm. The rest of the hours can be spent walking around the back of the mountain, performing Zen meditation, or having conversations with monks. Along with the other participants I was invited for teatime with a monk. "At the temple, I hope, you will learn wisdom and life skills rather than intellectual knowledge about Buddhism", - he said.
Nataliia K — Google review
I stayed this temple for 3 days due to meditation program. It's bit far from Seoul, almost 5 hours and half. Donghwa Temple is a picturesque and serene complex that showcases ancient and reconstructed Buddhist temples. It boasts of multiple Buddha statues, including a massive one that adds to the scenic charm. Visitors can opt for temple stays and witness ongoing construction activities during certain periods. The temple is accessible by bus or taxi from EXCO Daegu and takes around 40 minutes or an hour respectively. This is a very beautiful temple in a spectacular setting. The giant Buddha is amazing and set off against the lush green trees. When the sky is bright blue the whole setting is gorgeous. The very short walk to the Buddha with the stream and waterfall is very relaxing.

No matter how much the civilization of the world has changed, the harmonized lines of the roof tiles of Donghwasa Temple and the lines of Palgong Mountain are still beautiful enough to take your breath away. Even a casual stroll in and around the temple will leave you feeling refreshed. But there's a thing you must be careful of. Do not visit Donghwasa Temple in October and November, when autumn is in full swing. You might have a feeling of being in heaven which can cause your mind to disembodied.
DK ( — Google review
I went there 17th of August ‘22. Bus 1 dropped me off at the main centre point. From there, it's about a 15 min walk. There is a tunnel you have to go through, but there is someone there where you have to buy tickets from (3000kw) for one access. It was there at 8 am, so it was quiet. People are already praying. When you turn right, you have to walk for just 5 min, and then you find the giant Buddha statue. One thing I love about Korea is not only at this place - clean toilets everywhere, more hygienic than my hostel 😂 and you can pay with your card if you want to buy a souvenir. Worth it. It takes approx. ~ 1.5 hours, so you can combine it with the cable cart.

Seomun Market is a historic and expansive market that dates back to the end of the Joseon Dynasty. It boasts thousands of vendors selling a wide variety of goods, including food, clothing, linen, cotton, silk, satin, haberdashery, handicrafts, and silverware. Despite its growth over the years, the market still retains alley names that have been in use for centuries.
Great experience for a first-time visitor, people who work at maket are very friendly and enthusiastic. I always love to explore the local food and culture through the traditional market. If you like to be adventured, plan a half day at the traditional market. It's more fun to enjoy the trip :)

Loved visiting the traditional Korean Seomun market during our recent visit to Daegu. Enjoyed walking the streets and inside the market lined with local offerings of food, clothing, travel accessories and the friendly bustle of a local market. Took advantage of the local offerings of Tteokbokki and Hotteok - lip smacking good!! We also found a store selling local made candy and got a kilo of these little sugar delicacies - milk, pumpkin, peanut flavors, etc. The owner of the store topped off our purchase with a generous handful - on the house!! Worth visiting every nook and cranny of this wonderful market.

For a true Daegu local experience, this market is a must-visit location. There is a wholesale trade section for wet and dried seafood, a huge multi-level section for retail fashion clothings and kitchenware, an array of street food vendors, a section for popular local restaurants and the amazing list goes on… Expect heavy traffic in this area and suggest to arrive/depart by train. I tried to book a taxi via app and was unsuccessful at about 5pm.

We hit the weekend night market which is just good down the main street. Great food and some of the best street food we had in Korea was here. There was love music and places to eat the food you got from the vendors as well. Overall a fun experience and worth going to if there on a weekend evening. We all went in the day time to look around and buy a hanbok which there are many options. A very large market that we barely got to see when there was we ran out of time. Do watch some of the vendors give cheap wire underdress with the hanbok.

This market is the most famous in Daegu and for good reason! The street food is incredible and very affordable, not to mention the vast variety of independent stalls and crafts which are sold here! This place is very busy, so I would suggest going before or after lunch unless you are going to eat here! Easily accessible and a great local day in Daegu!

I stayed in a hotel at walking distance to Seomun market and incidentally explored it by searching on Google. It is a super large and vibrant traditional market. I bought some winter stuff at very good price. I surprisingly saw the dishes much like which we also had in my country (pork intestines tasting so good). In front of the market there are bus lines including no.2&3 connecting with the old village attraction. Worthy to experience!

Apsan Park, situated at the lower end of Daegu, is a picturesque parkland encompassing Apsan, Sanseongsan, and Daedeoksan mountains. It offers a variety of activities such as hiking trails, a cable car ride to an observatory with stunning panoramic views of the city. The park also features leisure facilities including archery, horseback riding, and swimming at the mountain's base.
Apsan Park is good. The cable car service is a tad bit slow but I am in no rush to enjoy nature's beauty. Amazing sight in the summer. Although I have to admit Palgongsan(Mt. Palgong is better than Apsan in terms of scenic views, amenities and services), it does not diminishes Apsan charm. It costs 9,500 Won for an adult round trip. There are alot of hiking trails to choose from if you are into trail-hiking. At Apsan Lookout Observatory, you will be able to have a birds eye view of Daegu city. Definitely worth visiting.

There is also a good amount of stairs near the top that make it even more tiring. The view is very well worth it when you make it to the top. I did the cable car back down. There is also a nice restaurant at the top that has an English menu.

This is a beautiful mountain which is easily accessible from most parts of Daegu! I really love visiting here during fall to see the beautiful colourful leaves, but it is a great place to visit all year round. Apsan is walkable if you like hiking and it has amazing beautiful night views, however if you are like me and enjoy taking the cable car then it is also possible for around 12,000 won! There is a restaurant and coffee shop at the top and a stunning view point!

(Translated by Google) The exact place I went to was Rainbow Hotel,, The entire area is filled with the same facilities. It's the same atmosphere wherever you go. Perhaps because it was vacation, the kids room was almost booked even though it was a weekday. I had no choice but to use a slightly oversized room. The price is a bit high compared to the facilities, but if you have a large family, It's a size and satisfaction that I think I'll use again. There are three large beds on the first floor and a large bed on the upper floor, so children can have fun, and the family bath is the size of a local public bathhouse. It's half the size. It's really big. Next time, I'll take my parents with me. The bathtub is so big that I want to bring my younger brother's family. Haha. It's just a local motel facility with a large public bath and a hot spring!!! Cooking is not possible, but there are many restaurants nearby. Historic Sites
The Tomb of King Muyeol of Silla is a historical site that holds great significance in Korean history. It is the final resting place of King Muyeol, who played a crucial role in unifying the Korean peninsula during the 7th century. The tomb complex also includes smaller tombs believed to be related to the king. Visitors can admire the cultural characteristics of Silla through the turtle tombstone, symbolizing confidence and purposeful movement.
I enjoyed this place wherein you can see tombs. They called this place Royal Tomb of King teajong Muyeol as you can see his tomb in the peak of the area. There are also three small tombs below the tomb of King Taejong Muyeol which is said to be related to the king. When we visit the place, there are also many tourists coming along to see the beauty of the place.

Our guide explained to us that the you can tell from the turtle tombstone cultural characteristics of Shilla. The turtle is crawling confidently with it's neck outstretched. The legs look as if it is crawling fast because you can count 5 toes on the front 2 feet whereas the back two feet only show 4 toes as they are dug into the ground while moving purposefully.
Heejin K — Google review
The tomb is taken care of well and it's nice to walk around but it'd be nice to be able to read more of the history. You're not really seeing anything more different than you do in the city for free. Behind the last tomb there is a gap in the fence that lets you go for a small walk into the national park. Don't get lost.

Interesting to see such a big tomb, you have to walk quite far tho.

Not many information was provided unless you know the meaning of this place prior to visit here. It is the tomb of King Muyeol in Silla dynasty. Cheonmachong, also known as the Heavenly Horse Tomb, is a famous Silla burial mound dating back to the 5th or 6th century. It was unearthed in 1973 and is one of the few tombs open to the public. The tomb is believed to belong to a high-class nobleman, although the owner's identity remains unconfirmed.
Great experience to be able to enter the tomb to see what inside actually looks like. A lot of artifacts were displayed inside. Strongly recommend you to visit. We were here around 7+pm still open. And during the day of our visit, admission was free for some reason.

Since we were a big group and many things on our agenda, we did not get to visit all the tombs and saw just one which had all the jewelry. I beleive it was the first Korean archeology discovery not knowing who these jewellery belong too. The gardens looks beautiful, I wish I had time to just sit and stare and let me immagination run wild, wish I could roll down that hill.

It was a remarkable experience to explore one of the magnificent royal tombs of the Shila kingdom in Kyongju City. The tombs were filled with a wealth of artifacts and royal treasures, all meticulously preserved for visitors to admire. Although many of the treasures on display were replicas, their splendor was undeniable. The genuine artifacts are housed in the National Museum in Seoul, but this visit was an extraordinary and unforgettable experience.

Yeojwacheon River is a stunning tourist attraction, adorned with cherry blossom trees that bloom seasonally. The river banks are embellished with art pieces and street food vendors, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll. The entire city is awash with the beauty of these cherry blossoms, creating a romantic ambiance in the air. Despite its popularity amongst tourists, the weekend can be quite busy.
Visited 2 April 2025. Just as beautiful as when I visited the first time in 2019. Lovely long stream with cherry blossoms canopy and decorations. This time, we had time to eat from the stalls set up for the festival.
Snoop E — Google review
At around 3pm on 25 March, 2025, our party of 12 people came. We didn’t see any cherry blossoms. What we saw was one of our members helping an elderly with her cart crossing a bridge where we posed for a group photo, it was so heartwarming.
Peter C — Google review
Absolutely worth visiting in Jinhae at any time during the cherry blossom season (and quite honestly there’s no much in the area for food, cafes and bars/karaoke at any time of the year). We decided to stay in Jinhae to have more flexibility and peace about visiting the stream and the whole suburb is covered in cherry blossom trees! There were more people around during the day on tours, but the lights reflect off the flowers and stream’s water at night, so really night is a completely new experience alongside the street food and stalls. It’s day 1 of the festival today and we will be back for the flowers in full blossom one day. We loved it here!
Jason T — Google review
I visited during the cherry blossom festival this year with a tour group and I would highly recommend the tour for this because I primarily travel with the the subway and this allowed me to take their bus to this location and back to Busan. It was also a good mix of guided / planned time and wandering around to investigate whatever peaked my interest. I travel solo and the rest of the tour group provided social interaction for a day which I enjoyed. I booked it on the Klook site and the name of it was "Jinhae Pink Cherry Blossom Festival Tour from SEOUL / BUSAN". There was plenty to do at this destination, snacks, photo ops, drinks, and local restaurants.

The Most Beautiful Place on Earth – Yeojwacheon Cherry Blossom Festival in Jinhae I had the absolute privilege of visiting Yeojwacheon during Jinhae’s cherry blossom season, and I can say without exaggeration—it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. The entire stream was lined with endless rows of cherry blossoms, their petals dancing in the breeze like pink snow. The sight was breathtaking, something out of a dream or a movie scene. It’s no wonder people from all over the world found their way here. What amazed me the most was not just the scenery, but how international the atmosphere felt. I overheard languages from all over—English, Chinese, Japanese, French. It made me wonder: how did people from so many different countries hear about this hidden gem in Korea? It’s a testament to just how globally beloved the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival has become. The crowds were large, yet everyone seemed to be in a peaceful and joyful mood, taking in the natural beauty with wide eyes and camera phones constantly snapping. What’s even more remarkable is that it wasn’t just Yeojwacheon that was celebrating—the entire district of Jinhae felt like a massive, vibrant festival. Every street was decorated, food stalls were everywhere, local music filled the air, and people wore smiles that reflected the joy of spring. It felt like the whole city had come alive to celebrate the arrival of cherry blossoms. I’ve traveled to many places, but Jinhae during cherry blossom season is something else entirely. It’s not just a place to take pretty photos—it’s a place to feel wonder, to share beauty with strangers, and to be reminded of how magical nature can be. I can’t recommend it enough. If you ever get the chance, this is an experience you don’t want to miss.
Junghoon Y — Google review
Worth the travel and anticipation, everything was truly magical! 🌸🌸🌸 The Cherry Blossom Festival was an enchanting experience that beautifully captured the essence of spring. The trees were in full bloom, creating a breathtaking canopy of pink and white petals that seemed to stretch endlessly across the park. The atmosphere was vibrant yet peaceful,l everyone was coming together to celebrate the fleeting beauty of the blossoms. The sense of both locals and tourists were astounding. Everyone was in high spirits, sharing smiles and conversations with strangers, all united by the beauty of the blossoms. The festival did get quite crowded, especially in the afternoon, making it difficult to find a good spot for viewing the trees or participating in some of the activities. Arriving early is definitely recommended to fully enjoy the experience.

To anyone looking for a place to enjoy, relax and feel the spring vibe (especially for people living in a tropical country like me where there is only hot, hotter, and hottest type of weather), this river is the right one for you. We went there during the full bloom season of cherry blossoms and my experience is priceless. It was raining in the evening upon our arrival but it only added to the mood that I was feeling - excited. The river is a long one so make sure to see all the stops there and the food stalls around it sells tasty and affordable korean dishes. There are various coffee shops available too for any coffee lover out there so you won't have to worry about that. Make sure to come and visit this river of you happen to be in Jinhae and let me know what you felt.

I hiked 9km from Geumgang cable car station to Beomeosa temple in 3 hours. To get to Geumgang park, you can take line 1 metro to Dongnae+bus+walk or oncheonjang+walk. The cable car costs 6000 won one way or 9000 won return. It was snowing a bit and the ground was hard/frozen. The trail is a bit challenging but easy to find. The first 2km has not much view because it goes through the forest. There are a few spots which is rocky and a bit steep. The view starting from the second half of the trail is amazing! You can see 360 degree of Busan city, ocean and mountains. It is super windy and cold despite the sun. There are no tourist and only a few local hikers. When I get to the southern gate, there is an option to hike up to the highest peak or turn right to Beomeosa temple. From here, the descend to the temple took me 30 min and I find the rocky path very annoying.

It is a great place for half day hiking especially for family gathering. The trail is full of sign post and notice board to show the way. Before climb to the mountain top, there is a very large picnic area and shelter. The whole route is safe and good view on the rocky mountain top (801m high).

Fort entrance, with nice views and partial reconsteuctions of the wall. There are access from the Beomeosa temple or the south gate (longer). Restrooms are available near the gate. Hikers and families will enjoy it. Moderate difficulty.

Great place for hiking, there are many ways can take, some easy some very hard, and many mountains connected, so if you have enough time you can take a long way and spend one day in the mountains.

Just behind Pusan National University there’s a really gorgeous mountain I’ve first heard about last week. Not only a mountain, there’s also the largest mountain fortress in the country - Geumjeongsanseong. If you look from above it kind of reminiscent of Hadrian’s wall, a string of square stone blocks stretching and curving along the mountain line. Really pretty!

Beomeosa Temple, located on the edge of Mt. Geumjeongsan, is a significant historical site in South Korea. Founded in 678 A.D. by master priest UiSang during the Silla dynasty, it has been rebuilt over the centuries and remains a pilgrimage site and Buddhist learning center offering temple stays. The temple is popular among worshipers, tourists, and hikers due to its scenic location and as a starting point for hiking trails around Mt.
Close to Busan - booked the experience Temple Stay and would recommend. Good food with services led by a monk with fluent English, plus a great tour guide of the temple included.

very quiet, well-maintained, and relaxing place, like most temples in Korea. The site is very easy to reach by public transport

Highly recommend visiting this 1,300-year-old ancient temple. It’s beautifully maintained and offers a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to unwind and take in the history.

The architecture is stunning: intricate woodwork, bright dancheong patterns, and centuries-old pagodas that somehow feel both grand and humble. Even with other visitors around, it never loses that sense of serenity. The views are also incredible. The temple sits high enough that you can see the forested hills rolling out below, especially if you take a short hike up behind the complex. It’s the perfect balance of culture and nature. Whether you’re into history, photography, or just looking for a peaceful place to recharge, Beomeosa Temple is a must-see in Busan. It’s not just a visit - it’s an experience that stays with you.

Beautiful and serene temple. The surrounding countryside was stunning with the autumn leaves. Be sure to walk back to the metro - it's an easy walk and the view is splendid.

Amazing temple on the top of a mountain near Busan city center. You can take a bus that leaves you at the door. Many buildings conform this temple that for sure will enjoy wandering around in the middle of nature. Highly recommended visit at anytime

Quite a big temple complex with multiple buildings (ci 10). Partially closed when people are meditating, but almost everything is accessible. There is also a nice little garden at the foot of the complex with memorial animals / plaques. Can easily spend 1-1.5 hours here. Little tourist shop sell statues and arm braces and such. I combined this with visit to seokbulsa temple, which in my view is much more impressive.

Easy inexpensive access from the city by subway and bus. Atmospheric peaceful visit in a snow storm. I think it's a must do on a visit to Busan.

Gimhae International Airport

Gimhae International Airport, which has been serving the Basan area since 1976, provides a convenient travel experience for visitors. The airport offers a variety of dining options and direct rail service, making it easily accessible by light rail connection. Travelers can reach Sasang Station in under 10 minutes via the light rail, providing seamless access to the subway line and Inter-city Seobu Bus Station. Clear directions and signage within the airport ensure smooth navigation for visitors.
On 21 March, 2025, our party of eight arrived here direct from Hong Kong. On passport control, waiting time was reasonable, and there was no need to show the e-confirmation of preregistration of the person. Green customs channel was friendly. On 27 March, 2025, our party of six returned (two members left earlier). Before checking in, we first went to the loss and found to pick up a lost smartphone of one member who left earlier; then, we did the tax refund registration at an e-kiosk. After checking in and while passing through security clearance, two bags of kimchi couldn’t be carried on board and we surrendered them. After security clearance, we went to a tax refund counter to get cash refund (in won, yen or US$) and then used some of the refund to buy kimchi again at Lotte Duty Free. We’re content.

Pretty crazy that an international airport in a first world country, like South Korea is only open for set times. definitely a first for me, My spouse and others had to sleep or wait outside the airport with mosquitoes. Especially for tourist who have certain allocated checkout times. Seen better in 3rd world countries.

Please take note that the Gimhae International Airport is not open 24 hours a day. It is closed at 11.00pm and reopens at 4.30am everyday. Passengers cannot sleep at the airport to catch an early morning flight. The best option would be to sleep in a hotel in Sasang, a nearby town, and take the first LRT train at 5.00am to the airport. Checking in and going through the security screening is smooth and efficiently done here.

I was genuinely surprised and disappointed by the experience at Busan’s Gimhae International Airport. The lines were extremely long and moved painfully slowly — from check-in to security to immigration. The entire process felt disorganized and inefficient, and it took far longer than it should have. For a country as developed and technologically advanced as South Korea, this level of service is far below expectations. There was little communication or guidance, and the lack of staff only made things worse. Travelers were visibly stressed and confused, and there didn’t seem to be any urgency to improve the flow. I sincerely suggest the airport authorities look to countries like Singapore as a benchmark. Despite handling a much larger volume of passengers, Singapore’s Changi Airport operates with such speed and efficiency that you almost never have to wait in line. It’s a world-class example that Gimhae Airport could learn a lot from. Busan deserves a better international gateway, one that truly reflects the modernity and efficiency South Korea is known for.

This is a far below normal standard airport. Upon arrival of three flights in the morning, there is only one single immigration counter open for foreign passports. Korean passports using the e-gates still enjoy another three manual counters for pretty much no crowd. End up waiting 1.5 hours for 30 pay ahead of me to be cleared. Plus point though, the airport is clean.
House M — Google review
Relatively small airport with one large duty free shop. There are several lounges, and it is clean. The gates are easy to find and there are lots of seats. One negative thing is that the security line requirements are a bit misleading. They told us we need to hand carry our battery packs, but they didn’t check that at security. Not sure what we were supposed to do, but it was fine.
Kat — Google review
Sure it might not be open 24hrs like almost every ither airport, but you know what? You can buy booze and food at street prices past the immigration terminal, and that's a massive win in my books. Probably my favourite airport.
Nicolas W — Google review
Arrival custom, absolutely chaos. No clear direction where to queue, everyone just squeeze each other and hope for best. All the officer sit there and do nothing to direct the chaos. Queuing for 2 or 3 or 4 hours is frustrating, but how about if visitor don't even know where the queue start?? So much for international airport in developed country, awesome.
