Very nice open access and free botanical garden with some unique plants and well maintained. It has some nice water features with a bridge and even some aquatic animals such as fish and turtles. Wonderful way to get out of the city air and off the concrete streets. It would be nice if there were some benches or chairs available to sit down and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and fresh air.

Very nice place for visit

Enjoyable hike over what was once a vast salt field. It's also a bird habitat and you can hear tweeting and quacking as you walk on the trail. There so many tall pampas grass and other plants and trees. We started our hike from Incheon Park and ended at Sorae Port. It was a good 3hour or so of walking but it was relaxing and enjoyable. There are some rest areas along the way with benches to sit on. They also built gazebos and an observation deck. As you get closer to the information building, theres several windmills great for photos.

This place is huge and offers some fun activities for children. There's even a small indoor pool and sand area, making it a great spot to bring your kids during the summer. I visited in the afternoon when it was hot and humid, so I’d recommend coming in the evening instead—bicycling around the area is especially enjoyable. I also saw a few people with professional cameras taking sunset photos here. When I checked Naver Maps, it said I’d need to walk about 40 minutes after getting off the bus, but that wasn’t the case—it was actually just a short 5-minute walk.

Incheon Grand Park is the largest urban park in Incheon, South Korea. This is another great park with something for everyone. Walking paths, mountain hiking trails, beautiful gardens including the biggest rock garden I have experienced. Clean bathrooms throughout the park. Lots of food options, playgrounds, outdoor concert venues, lots of great picnic areas, day tent locations. There is so much to see and do here, you could easily spend a couple of days if you’re an outdoors person. Monday is not the best day to visit because a lot of stuff is closed. We spent about six hours and feel we need another full day for mountain hiking. South Gate is on the train line. If you have only an hour or so - nice walking path around the lake.

If you plan to come here by public transportation, I recommend that you come by subway and enter by South Gate, grab a map then walk around the park, then leave at Main Gate by bus because South Gate is near subway station and Main Gate is near bus station. This park is huge, so be well prepared that you have to walk a lot. We were here just walking around (not do trekking) and it took us 8.2km (around 2.5 hours) but we still miss some places. They also provide bicycles for rent.

Wow, the park is huge. It has a small lake with visible wildlife. Has a small greenhouse for tropical and desert plants. It wpuld have been grander at the peak of its autumn colors. Nonetheless a pleasant visit.

Really big, clean, and beautiful park. Easily accessible through the Incheon Grand Park train station. You'll be entering through the South Entrance. Depending on the season, many flowers can be seen blooming as well as cherry blossoms. It's a huge place and to properly explore everywhere, might take at least half a day to a full day. The entrance to Incheon Zoo is also by the south entrance. There are a few shops selling snacks and drinks. There are bike rentals. There are camping areas. There's a mountain hiking area too. Overall, very comfortable, beautiful, family-friendly, and easily accessible. But you'd be hard pressed to find a rubbish bin around though.

Unable to read hangul nor understand the local, rely heavily on provided map/my bad didnt go and check out the information counter but just to lazy to go and ask and then only walk arnd. Love this place! My wife and I came here after our engagement party as we loved every bit of it!! And it was one of the first places we brought our firstborn to when we visited Korea~ Our son, who's about 21 months old had a hard time paying attention to the animals, but there's so much to see, and lots of fun ways to engage with the animals here! We'll definitely bring him back once he's a little older :)

They have a nice selection of aquatic animals and even some other animals like ringtailed lemurs and some farm animals on the roof. Many different species are sharing an exhibit. For most animals they also have some info in English, not for all though. Tickets are not that cheap but when they are taking good care of their animals that is no problem. But do they take good care of the animals? Most living spaces are small, some even really small. Some animals show obvious signs of stress, like the penguins.

A medium-sized aquarium with a good assortment of marine life. It's well laid out and there's enough space to move around even if it's crowded. There's also a jungle exhibit and a small petting/feeding. They have synchronized swimming events every hour which are fun to watch. The tickets are expensive and so is everything inside so buy discounted tickets online and bring your own food/drinks for the kids.

Good place to visit once. 10 minutes walk from nearby Subway station Juyeop exit 2. Children will enjoy a lot. There is a magic show as well for all.

I visited on Saturday and it was very crowded. Hat is mandatory to enter any pool, and the life vest is mandatory to enter the wave pool and the lazy river. I had to buy them on-site. I recommend bringing them as they were not cheap. Facilities were not that clean, and the indoor pool was stuffy.

Are you watching Love Alarm on Netflix right now? Yep, this is where they shot the skating scenes! There are 2 parks - the snow park and the water park. We were only able to visit the snow park due to limited time. Me and my family went here last June 2018. We had so, so, so much fun!! Helmets and thermal jackets are provided, pick a color! It must be worn before entering the ice for safety. The park is kid and adult friendly. This is our first time skating! Well with sleds, we hope to try the skates soon haha. The entire place is a fortress, with lot of shops, cafés, boutiques, and restaurants around.

A water park and a shopping mall next to each other. In summertime it will probably be packed. Right now it wasn't crowded at all. Decent shopping. Zara and H&M. Some other shops. Bot as crowded as western dome.

The place is quite small for only one indoor floor and one outdoor floor with 3 slides. Outdoor floor is opened at 11:00am. People are not too many, so the waiting time is fine around 15-20mins. Tickets were cheaper if bought online. Half day here is fine.

I thought sledding for hours and hours would get old but it was actually fun. You can choose between a guided slope you slide down with a partner or a solo freestyle slope. Climbing the many stairs to switch between the two, then waiting in line eats up a lot of time, but the exhilarating trip downhill makes it all worth it. When it does start to wear a little thin, there are several picture zones, a cafeteria with tasty fries and the whole indoor ice rink where you can skate, jump on a trampoline or have real dogs pull you around on a sled (kinda weird but they looked healthy enough).

So many ppl here today, Friday. Arrived here at 11 pm. I bought ticket from tmon. Pls remember and be careful, I asked the staff there and I clearly said I bought ticket from tmon, but she said I must get waiting number and must get the entrance ticket from the locket! It was very fun and beautiful experience. Variety of flowers and beautiful arrangements. So many photo zones...you can just enjoy Ilsan lake park even without the flower festival. Entry fee was very reasonable and worth every penny. 👍❤️

The park was huge, 22k steps was how much we walked. Not as many tulips as was the Taean tulips festival that we went also. But one could strolled along the lake and enjoy the sunny and cooling weather. Plenty of foods stalls and toilets around.

I'm glad I came here at the right time of the year. They have the World Flower Exhibition, and I spent around four hours inside, enjoying every single part of the event. I think it's worth visiting at least once—you'll fall in love with it! The ticket price is reasonable compared to others, and I even got a discount because I used my public transportation card to get here. The lake is a bit outside of Seoul, and the journey took over an hour. I also took some time to walk along the lake—such a great spot for a medium-length walk! In the summer, they have a musical fountain show at night. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Came during May where the roses bloom and surprisingly there’s really a lot to see than I imagined. Could spent half a day just walking here looking at all the flowers and view. There’s even a place where it looked like mini Nami Island !

There is a greenhouse fpr the cactus plants. In the lake there are Koi fish you can admire and take photos of. Waterfall south rast side of the park. Water fountain in the center of the lake. Plenty of shaded trees for hot summer days, gazebos, benches, swings and open grass space you can lay around and admire the nature and people watch. Highly recommended park 😎👍

The only reason I visited this lake again to see the pretty hydrangeas. As you see, I visited here a bit late, the hydrangeas already burnt? by the hot 🌞. Besides the pretty hydrangeas, there are many other photo spots as well. If you plan to go here, better arrive before 12pm, otherwise, you're gonna find line of cars waiting to enter the parking lot. Very good museum with lots of information and artefacts from the Korean war. Very detailed displays which helped me understand the war better. Lots of exhibits and interactive things to entertain all ages. Very modern, clean and informative. Highly recommend visiting if you want to learn about the war

Incredibly well done memorial that might as well be called the Korean War Museum as it covers the entirety of conflicts on the Korean peninsula from prehistory to modern day. Huge facility with lots to explore from memorials to explanations of the history to tanks and airplanes on display! I foolishly only planned an hour here and actually had to come back a second time for a couple more hours and still didn't see it all! Free entrance as well, so really a must do for anyone interested in the military history of Korea. Also has free lockers for baggage of all sizes which was a bonus.

Worth a visit if you are in Seoul, especially if you’re American. There is the memorial and a museum which describes the Korean War and other past wars in Korea. I learnt a lot. They have a large display of old military tanks, aircraft and boats and this was well worth seeing. No entrance fee.

There is so much to see and eat. Just be aware that it's more of a flea market feel here. Not that they sell used goods, but it's low prices and quantity you will find here, not trendy fashions or recognizable brands. In addition to the many stalls at street level, there are shops upstairs and an endless catacomb of micro stalls underground, many of which probably cater to locals.

Plenty of things to look on as its a combination of clothing/food and souvenirs shops with some of the famous brands you can find it here like Supreme/adidas and etc as they sell the replicas here (iykwim). The shoes and other accessories are fantastic and varies. The souveniors shops also is more affordable compare to myeondong ones. Its just some of the elderly locals doesnt want to entertain you and giving out a different pricing by seeing what type of people are you. Other than that a goos spot to get a mix of everything here

Big market with plenty of shopping choices. Ladies’ accessories are plentiful for selection. Good place to grab Korean souvenirs and gifts to bring home. Do watch some shops that blatantly changed prices (eg the red ginseng), pretty dishonest. Will advise to buy from shops with clear display of prices.

A must on any trip to Seoul. Spectacular views. Be prepared for crowds on the weekends. On previous trips I’ve walked up - cable car is fun but huge queue & a long wait if you do that. This time I cycled up - steep … thank goodness for e-bikes! Don’t miss the small plaque & marker on the top … often overlooked but it’s the geographic center of the city, very cool.

Must visit! It’s so scenic, especially with autumn colors. One gets beautiful Birds Eye view of the city and there are lot of cultural activities. Keeps one busy and entertained. Plenty of buses to take one around. It was lot walking, including some steep but worth every step.

Namsan Tower is another attraction I visited during my business trip. You have two options to get to the top of the mountain: by bus or on foot. I recommend taking the bus up and walking down — it’s easier and more enjoyable that way. Once you reach the top, the view is absolutely breathtaking! You can see the entire city from above, and the scenery is stunning. Don’t forget to check out the love locks area — it’s beautiful and very romantic.

Great views of the city. Recommended to Come here at night. The lights shining on the tower gives it a mystical feel and look. The deck offers great views of the night skyline! The is a mall under the tower A but there is nothing to shout about. No crowds and no vibes. A place that is to be visited only once.

Purchased gondola ride to the tower. To buypass the ticket line purchase ahead from an online retailer. The gondola queue was long but worth the wait. Just missed the sunset but still got some beautiful scenery around the tower. The view is stunning from the top.

N Seoul Tower is a great place to visit when in Seoul great 360 views over the city and if you like a bit of romance you can lock your love up here. Don’t worry if you don’t have a lock with you can buy them up the tower. They have lots of shops for coffee food drinks while you enjoying the view. You can get the cable car 🚠 that cost 15000 Kyen for both ways and it runs very 10 mins , or you can hike all the way up.

We took a cable car up to the top and the view is great. I think for 2 people it cost 34K won. There are restaurants at the tower and snack shops. There are all sorts of touristy knick knacks you can buy at the gift shop. The only downside to the view is the smog which was pretty thick when we went. I'm assuming that might be the notm,however it was still a nice view of the sunset.

Awesome in the center of Seoul! Very nice weather, good environment(really less car), local food markets(Bought really sweet green grape). Artificial stream all the way down to Dongdaemun area. If you want to, get a free automobile bus!

A leisurely stroll from the big artificial falls down several blocks lets you see people relaxing with families and friends, enjoying the simplest joys of life. There is the open Seoul Outdoor Library, with chairs on both banks on one section of Cheonggyecheon. Life is a bliss!

Beautiful stream to get away from overcrowding in the heart of Seoul. Bring your lunch and sit by the stream and do little picnic. Do some people watch, there are some birds like herons, egress and ducks there, too. In my opinion this maybe the best investment that Seoul has.made for the locals and tourists. Very very highly recommended visit 👌

This beautiful ~11km long stream and walkway in downtown Seoul is an urban oasis! Loved sitting sitting by the stream and walking along it! Thank you, Seoul, for rebuilding and maintaining this place of calm and an inviting place for the community in the middle of the city.

This very unique plaza runs east and west in the center of several districts in Seoul. Entry into the area is a ramp down or stairs along the length of the attractive. Several over-hangs can provide shade and several visitors had their feet in the water. Would recommend this area for light meal, quiet social visit, or some peaceful meditation.

Its a paradise for people looking to buy any type of skincare products, cosmetics etc. There are nice food stalls all along myeongdong street. The underground market is also worth exploring. There's also a church on one end of the shopping street.

Another Tourist trap with a huge crowd that blocks one to move from shops to shops. I believe there is nothing cheap here because it is definately a touristic area. There is always a huge crowd will welcome you here. Non of the shops are cheap. You can find same products for cheaper at anywhere. Same shops have more that 3 filiales so you feel like you passed from the same street again. But that is not he case. Good thing is that is is safe even there is so many people. You can find variety of restaurants and street food, massage shops, cosmetics shops, Michelin certified restaurants etc. But i do not recommend you to shop here, just go to see as an experience. It is vibrant Athmosphere especially in nice weather.

Go at night so you get the lights and enjoy the atmosphere. Lots of street foods from vendors, once you've seen one street full you'll notice they repeat. Same with shops. But nice to snack and walk and soak it all up. Get out at myendong exit 9 or 10.

Good but overly touristy for me. I managed to get the photos I wanted and scooted out of the crossed place. Can’t say much. Beautiful buildings externally but not much in terms of design. Unlike other Asian countries whose palaces display thier grandeur through intrinsic design.

My whole experience of visiting Geongbokgung Palace was the beauty of fall leaves and then women from all around the world flaunting their beautiful hanboks clicking pictures all around the palace premises. Disappointed that I did not get a chance to watch the change of guards as our guide did not add it to the itinerary. The palace is beautiful and every nook and corner has its own beauty.

We had free entry because of some national festival. Great and imposing architecture / you will have to be there in person to savour the size and grandeur of the palace. It is HUGE. The grounds are large. There is even a museum shop for drinks, and some gifts. You should visit that. Lots of opportunities to take selfies and wefies. You will see many tourists wearing the traditional costumes. A must-go for all visitors to Seoul. Highly recommended! Thumbs up!

We did it all: dressed in traditional garb, traipsed through the palace grounds, watched a 15th century changing of the guard reenactment, scheduled a tour, did a photo shoot... . If you do wear hanboks, the entry fee is waived. Ultimately, an enchanting experience. There are loads of hanbok stores to choose from so check out as many as you can before committing (as designs and quality vary).

A must see location if you are visiting Seoul. Lines moved very quickly, we used the National Folk Museum entrance and there was hardly any lines there. Once inside you can just go left from the entrance and walk around to the Palace.

This palace is huge. Free entry if you are wearing Hanbok. Lots of tourists wear hanbok so you don't won't feel out of place wearing one. There are two changing of the guards ceremonies to see. Many good photo spots.

This is one of the most memorable place I’ve been in Seoul. The Village is really nice and Clean. The designs are superb. I love how the government protect and preserve the historic structures in there country. I was there during summer time. Although it’s hot and humid but it was so worth it to see those beautiful things.

Super cool spot to come to(especially if you want to see a scene from kpop demon hunters lol, my wife is a fan). Only thing is it is a bit busier than I was expecting and there is really only one cool main road. There are a few cool side streets but since there is just one main then all the people gather in there. Still very worth visiting though and crowds broke enough for us to get some pics.

Traditional Hanok Village. A lot of the houses are newly renovated with a traditional Hanok vibe. It's very photogenic. Recommend going right when they open since it can get crowded (but not too early as they are close to public before the road are open for public access). A traditional Korean village with some modern touches. A very eclectic selection of shops, not your typical tourist shops selling tacky sovenirs. There are many side streets worth exploring. Be prepared to walk a lot! This place is just next to the main palace, so it attracts spillover crowd. Be respectful of some places - they are actually residences. So do keep your volume down!

Interesting historical cultural village where you can see old privately owned homes from the outside. If you know south Australia, and you know Hahndorf, then this is the korean version albeit better in a historical sense. What is the same is the touristy vibe with the trinkety shops set up in some of the homes. The observatory near the top was good, the rest, not so much. Worth checking out because you came all the way to korea but really just a lot of old historical houses which for the most part you only see from the outside.

Very chill hike and great view to see old traditional architecture of Korea. The garden is also pretty to see. Very beautiful and peaceful.

The palace is truly amazing, situated in a calm section of the city and with some beautiful architectural highlights. During Golden Week, entry was granted free of charge, even for those not wearing the traditional attire. Unfortunately, the secret garden still required a ticket and was completely sold out for the day. I likely would have enjoyed the location more were it not for the throngs of people.

This palace wasn’t as busy as Gyeongbokgung palace at least when we went. It is a beautiful palace ground with lots of places to take pictures. There is another section which requires another ticket that was really nice. The path along the lake was nice and peaceful. Definitely recommend a visit here if you have the time

Changdeokgung (Korean: 창덕궁; Hanja: 昌德宮) is a former royal palace in Seoul, South Korea. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Historic Site of South Korea, it is among the best preserved of all Korean palaces. It and its neighboring palace Changgyeonggung have together been called the "East Palace". Changdeokgung was established in 1405. It was the second palace to be established in Seoul, after Joseon's official main palace Gyeongbokgung. Despite Gyeongbokgung's legally superior status, a majority of kings preferred to reside in Changdeokgung instead. In 1592, amidst the Imjin War, Changdeokgung and all the other palaces in the city were completely destroyed. After the war, due to budgetary constraints, Gyeongbokgung was not repaired, while Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung were. This effectively made Changdeokgung Joseon's main palace for several centuries. In the late 19th century, under the reign of the penultimate Korean monarch Gojong, Gyeongbokgung was rebuilt and the royal family moved out of Changdeokgung and into Gyeongbokgung, although they would again move to another palace Deoksugung in 1897. In 1907, Gojong was forced by Japan to abdicate, and his son and final Korean monarch Sunjong ascended the throne and made Changdeokgung his official palace. In 1910, Japan colonized Korea, and proceeded to heavily alter the palace. The Korean royal family continued to reside in the palace even after the 1945 liberation of Korea and into the late 20th century. Changdeokgung is now a major tourist attraction. In 1997, it was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The palace's Secret Garden [ko], long beloved by Korean monarchs, are now mostly available to the public, with some sections requiring tours to be booked.

It's just a shame that these buildings were all destroyed with the Japanese invasion and it's so important and great that Korea is still working on restoring everything as best as possible. The palace is build a little closer together than at Gyeongbokgung Palace. The only thing I could critique is that the government should be paying a little more attention when including fire extinguishers or fuseboxes and maybe try to blend them in a little more. They often break the immersion and the view of the otherwise beautiful palace.

JUST WOW. We visited this UNESCO World Heritage site last November 18, 2025 - and we didn’t regret a thing. Everything is preserved, from the architectural designs of their villages and the nature hidden in the secret garden. How can I not fall in love with this masterpiece? God loves us all, but how come it’s different in South Korea? Kidding aside, it’s a gift from the mighty creator. We will surely come back! 🥹😇🌸🍁

This is an awesome theme park for a fun day out. It's a bit like a mix of Disneyland and an indoor park, so it’s great no matter the weather. The rides are thrilling, and the parades are really well-done. The Magic Island part outside is super cool with the castle. It's a perfect place for families or anyone who just wants to have a blast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Overall, we had a great experience at Lotte World Theme Park. My son is still a little young and couldn’t meet the height requirements for some of the bigger rides, but I was impressed that the park has plenty of similar attractions designed for younger children. It really caters to all ages, so no one feels left out. The park itself is huge—between the indoor Adventure section and the outdoor Magic Island, there’s more than enough to keep a family entertained. Realistically, a visit here will take up your entire day, so plan accordingly. Even though we couldn’t try everything this time, we still enjoyed the variety of rides, the family-friendly atmosphere, and the overall energy of the park. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in Seoul with kids!

We came here for a full day of fun. The place was crowded for a weekday. Lots of children running around. We enjoyed the parade even though it was a bit short. Make sure you download the app to see how long the wait times are. We also did the pixie magic dress up which was pricey but cute. Lots of people also dressing up

For K-drama fan, it was a must for us to experience it. We even decided to rent school uniform to elevate our experience. Booked our tickets through Klook. We got lucky as it wasn’t so crowded. Enjoyed going through the park for three (3) hours. Have been to 5 Disney/Disney world, this was as not big but the atmosphere was great. Highly recommended to visit when you’re in Seoul.

Highly disappointed, it was sadly a big waste of time. Most of the cool rides are closed without any explanation (yes stuff can happen and for safety reasons obviously it should be closed, but I don't believe that at least 5 things don't work at the same time). They clearly sell way more tickets than the capacity allows it. Very greedy. The waiting times go up to 1-2 hours, and honestly if the ride is super cool, maybe I would even wait 1 hour, but I can't, because surprise, they closed "at the moment". I came with low expectations because not every theme park has a high budget and advanced technology, which is understandable, but honestly this is a big nothing. Not to mention, that beside regular ticket, so many attractions require additional fee. Wherever you look, they ask for a fee.

Very interesting starting point for DMZ tours. The facilities are clean, there are several meal/snack/drink options to choose from before heading out on the tour bus (we were on one of the first tour busses for the day, the 0920 bus) There are a few monuments/items that have fascinating historical significance, I would highly encourage you to check them out (our tour guide gave us an excellent mini-lesson on them, 11/10! Shout out to Vincent 🙌)

Close to the DMZ, this national park is full of history. Ideally it would be better if you came here with a tour group so the guide can explain to you in details how were the Koreans affected by the war and how conditions were for females back then. If you came here on your on, it is hard to feel what the Koreans went through without someone sharing.

Heading to the DMZ, I stopped here to switch vehicles as you can only go to the DMZ with the branded buses. I had thr privilege of seeing the Imjingak Tourist centre and had fun while I got my ticket. Watched a short video on the Korean/Japanese war with the Turtle ship.

Educational. My tour guide Denis from PJK Tours did an excellent job of ensuring his group were well informed when walking around these memorial grounds.

A wonderful place to get some fresh air near Seoul. In season, you will have a difficulty parking unless you come earlier. You will see river views around here. And the lotus corn dog is a well known snack in this place. They have hot spicy or non spicy. They use the different sausages according to your option. Lots of bugs are there as it is by the River...

Cycling to or past this place allowed me to discover a foggy, surreal side of this place once I arrived there at 4 AM. Beautiful place to go out and enjoy fresh air outside of Seoul.

I recently visited this Korean garden and was impressed by its natural beauty. The landscape was thoughtfully designed and included traditional Korean elements such as a pond, pavilion, and various trees and plants. The garden was peaceful and provided a nice escape from the city. The only downside was that some areas were under construction, but I look forward to visiting again when it's fully completed. Overall, a lovely place to relax and appreciate nature.

Now it's 2022.. the place was free of entrance fee years ago.. but now your gonna have to pay 2000 won for adults and not sure but maybe 1000won for kids.. and for seniors I'm not sure too but maybe it's free and for people living in jangju area.. the place is so beautiful, these days some flowers are not yet totally bloom yet.. so your not so late to visit this beautiful place.. make sure to prepare some water and snacks because there are few stores around.. Enjoy..💜💜

We visited the Garden of Morning Calm as part of a tour package, and it turned out to be a very beautiful experience. The garden is well maintained and has several themed sections, each with its own charm. It is calm, quiet, and filled with lovely photo spots, making it a great place to enjoy nature. That said, I would recommend it only if you are already in the area. It does not feel worth traveling all the way from Seoul just for this. Also, accessibility is limited as the grounds are quite hilly, so be prepared to walk.

Our afternoon drive from Seoul to Gapyeong-eup was wonderfully enhanced by a stop at the Garden of Morning Calm. Although we arrived a bit late at 5pm, this turned out to be the perfect time to visit, with most of the day's crowds already gone. We had the spacious garden largely to ourselves, allowing us to fully immerse in its calm, peaceful, and truly mind-refreshing atmosphere. The garden is a masterpiece of landscape design, beautifully blending natural elements with artistic touches. We were captivated by the majestic thousand-year-old Millennium Juniper. The stunning variety of flowers and plants, and the serene water streams and ponds adorned with charming bridges and pavilions. The addition of unique structures like a chapel, a Western-style cottage, and Korean house added fascinating layers to our stroll. It was the perfect way to break up our journey, offering a moment of tranquility before we continued to our final destination. I highly recommend this beautiful garden for a visit.

Aahh… this one is definitely my favorite. Right at the entrance you’ll find food stalls selling Korean favorites like corn dogs, fish cakes, and more. The food was delicious, and the best part is that even though it’s a tourist spot in a remote area, the prices weren’t jacked up. Big plus! To be honest, at first I thought this garden would be just “meh” 😑 , the usual flowers, benches, fountains, and bridges. But I was wrong. The garden is massive, and what really took my breath away was the area where the garden meets the mountains. The view was stunning and the atmosphere instantly felt calm and serene. The name truly fits. This is a must visit in South Korea. We’ll definitely come back and spend more time here. Pro tip: Book this with the Nami Island tour on Klook for convenience. If you want to enjoy the garden longer, consider booking a private van so you can spend the whole afternoon there.

Wow!! Didn't know what to really expect, but this place was a little slice of heaven on earth! We booked a day tour from Seoul, and this was a stop along the tour. By far, out most favorite stop along the tour. Its pure tranquility, and serenity. You almost feel as thought you are in a different world. The gardens are stunning, and peaceful. We saw giant bunnies roaming around, also babies. Its definitely a place that will make you happy 🪷 hopefully, you can try and miss the crowds. Although, we went on a Sunday, which was crowded, but still managed to find plenty spots to relax in solitude, and just absorb the breathtaking gardens. Felt very fairytale like...wonderful place to take many pictures 🪷💫🍃

Took the tour back mid March of this year. It’s part of our Nami Island/Rail bike tour through Klook for $133.00. We got lucky and enjoyed the natural beauty of the garden in winter with snow-covered paths against the backdrop of Chungnyeongsan Mountain. We enjoyed some Korean snacks and hot cappuccino to compliment with the weather. Garden wasn’t in full bloom season and no early spring flowers during our visit but the snow made it unforgettable and rewarding experience. Highly recommend!

THIS. IS. MY. FAVORITE. Literally guys, this is the most MAGICAL view i've ever seen. I cant describe. From my trip in Korea this is my favorite! I went on late April and the cherry blossom was supposed be fallen off already, but i can still see it in this garden. I love it and i will comeback. Every corner of the garden is magical and i love it. Very aesthetic. You'll feel like youre inside of a book with historical theme. A lot of flowers, tulips, cherry blossoms etc. Very calming and clean.

We didn't know what to expect, but we were afraid of getting spirited away in this phantasmagorical nightmare filled with dilapidated sculptures, labyrinthine paths and exhibits not found on the map. Bizarre, scary. Lightly dystopian. The bibimbap at the café was very good though.

The worst place I have been in Korea. The place is very poorly maintained. Although there are many theme areas. But really poor maintained and is so rundown. There is only one restaurant. I ordered the beef rib soup. The worst I ever have. Cold, 2big ribs with not much meat. Cost 17,000. I think I prefer to eat back in Seoul! And self-service There are a few cafes. Maybe it will be better to have some like grab in the cafes or if you wanna be there, eat before you go. The only place that was full of humans, was the pink theme pink mully grass with an artificially colored shocking pink sand slope. Anyway, the ticket and all the pay pay pay inside this area, simply not worth it. But because you want to post on social media coz’ of the shocking pink zone, Maybe… The management of this place should rethink how they should manage this place properly.

Not worth your time! I can't flush the toilet, the lights won't turn on, everything needs to have a ticket, I can't turn the sink on, and I should've lowered my expectations on the pink sand! There was so little pink sand!

We were in the area and had nothing to do so we stopped by here in Autumn 2023. The big attraction was a field of pink muhly which is a pink coloured grass. That part is quite beautiful, and possibly worth the 12,000 Won entry fee. Otherwise the gardens are not that impressive and overall theme is odd. We had our kids and there was just so many ways they squeeze more money out of you. Despite the entrance fee, everything else costs a lot of extra money and is not that great (big swing, sand slide that takes 1 second etc.)

There's more than 250 herbs here. It's also an amusement Park and place where there's lavendar, edibility garden, shops, rides and lots of pink things. Very picturesque

An interesting place to go if you have time to explore the area. Be sure to go to the spa and get some DIY projects. A good spot for families. Go in the evening so you can enjoy the lights more. The bakery and botanical garden was a huge favorite for our group.

This is a nice picturesque place located in the countryside of Seoul. We can reach here by monorail which departs in every 15 mins. It has stunning natural views. Some of the Korean drama took place here.

Was quite disappointed with it. Apart from this valley that many Korean drama took place, overall just like any park. And the ugliest are all the status that looks not so artistically blend. Different perception of what is called arts. Took the monorail to go up the hill. The experience wasn’t that fantastic. Firstly the Korean aunties were just too noisy in the capsule. Secondly, the capsule windows was darkened don’t have the natural sunlight so it defeat the purpose of viewing outside view nicely. Overall, one time experience is enough.

Nestled in the picturesque Seoul countryside, this is a lovely destination worth visiting. The tickets are reasonably priced, making it an accessible outing. One important consideration is the frequent monorail service - departing every 15 minutes. However, the monorail can become quite crowded during peak hours when group tours are prevalent. To ensure an enjoyable experience, I recommend planning your visit strategically and arriving early to avoid the busiest times on the monorail.

Very amazing place. Be awake you have to walk mountain veeeeery much but its really worth it the view is amazing if the fine dust is not too much also the water and the rocks are so amazing. You should not be scared of heights if you wanna go that stairs of the picture or you need to look at the handrail like me 😅

Excellent place to spend time with your friends and family. Offers a variety of activities at a pocket friendly prices. Monorail is an unique experience. Sanmaru Concert Hall will give you a glimpse of Korean Culture as well. There's an Astronomical observatory for kids. Sculpture park with nearly 30 sculptures made of granites are on display. Reaching this place is a bit difficult by public transport. All in all a very good place to spend a day.

My Delightful Bus Tour To Nami Island The bus picked me up from my hotel in Seoul for this full day adventure which included a stop at the Garden Of Morning Calm. This meticulously manicured garden was stunningly beautiful and relaxing at the same time.The tour guide and driver gave us a little briefing on the highlights and attractions upon arrival and set a time for return to the bus before he turned us loose. This is a thoroughly enjoyable place and can be a destination in it’s own right. Back on the bus for a short ride where we boarded a ferry for a short, scenic and fun cruise to Nami Island . Again a nice little briefing and return instructions. The island is an iconic location which can be seen in many Korean movies and TV shows. Rows of tall stately trees growing in a symmetrical and orderly manner must have been growing a very long time. They line both sides of roadways that I think of as inviting shady lanes. There are many landscape and flower features throughout the park. Photo enthusiasts will be well pleased. There are numerous food venues featuring tasty well prepared dishes. This complete tour was a pleasing and comforting experience from start to return.I would encourage everyone to visit here. I hope to return as well.

Nami Island is a beautiful and peaceful place to walk around. The autumn scenery was stunning with golden and red leaves everywhere. There are lots of photo spots, cute wooden sculptures and even rabbits around the park. It’s calm and relaxing, perfect for nature lovers. I recommend coming in the morning or late afternoon for the best light and cooler weather. 🇰🇷❤️

Nami Island is a memorable day trip while in South Korea. Never miss it! its better to join a group tour when travelling solo. it takes a half day to explore around the island. i visited during autumn and the place is full of magic because of the colorful foliage. take instagrammable pictures with the maple trees, meta sequioa, ginkgo trees around. although there are plenty of people roaming everywhere, you can still get great pictures and enjoy the island. there are plenty of shops and food options in the cafes/restaurants around.

Nami Island is truly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Even though we went during the coldest season — it was -12°C on the day we visited — it was still absolutely breathtaking. The snow-covered trees, peaceful paths, and calm atmosphere made it feel like a winter fairy tale. Despite the freezing weather, we loved every minute of walking around, taking photos, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. The island has such a charming and romantic feel, and it’s easy to see why it’s so famous. If you are visiting Korea, I highly recommend adding Nami Island to your list — winter or not, it’s a magical experience you won’t forget.

Escaping from Seoul for the weekend to Nami Island is a favorite pastime for those trapped in the metropolis. There is plenty of water, forests, fresh air, and places to walk. I decided to try it too. About 1.5 hours from the center and you are on the shore, from where the ferry departs for the island! Personally, I bought tickets through Trip.com, as it's cheaper. Nami Island is a place where you can just walk around, take beautiful photos, and eat at various restaurants. The picturesque views and peaceful atmosphere are relaxing and make you want to come back again, for example in winter. I will definitely come here in snowy weather.

Went on Memorial Day as part of day tour. I think it’s much easier to go as part of a tour package because you don’t have to figure out the train timings, you don’t have to worry about the county tourist bus timings or if there is space on the tourist bus at peak times. The only problem was the massive jam on Memorial Day. As it was a public holiday, many people also went to the rail park and we had to wait over an hour for our turn. But it is worth it. Very scenic, very relaxing. Although you have to cycle, track is mostly down sloping, so not much strength is needed and you can mostly let the bike meander down the rail track. Tunnels had music, bubbles and light, and they were a welcome respite from the heat. Highly recommended.

It is a very interesting place to go alone or with someone. The individual cars have an accelerator and a brake, so you can slow down to enjoy the scenery. There are carriages for two and four people. It is a nice experience although to get there from Seoul, there is a fast train that goes directly and passes only once a day, but you must have the ticket, otherwise, buying it at the terminal is impossible. The other option is taking 3 subway lines, one that is inside Seoul, and two more on the outskirts. Then, to go to the rail park, it is most convenient to walk, since the urban buses in that area pass approximately every hour and a half. Walking is about 1500 meters, so this last option is convenient. There are several circuits, we chose this one because the landscape seemed more varied to us.

This rail park is the closest to Nami Island so we came here right after. Love that the rail bikes are automated. Only one rider controls the bike, the other pedals are for fun! So just need to peddle a little to start the engine and then it will move on its own after. Lovely scenery. We were very intrigue by how they turn the bikes around. We had a short break of about 10min after the bikes were turned around. There is a little cafe there where we got coffee and hot chocolate to warm ourselves before the return journey. The bike has a cup holder for each rider so we can bring the drink along. The return journey even though on the same track, had a different view and feel as the sun is setting. Great experience.

Fun specially for the kids. Our visit was autumn and the view was stunningly good! Don't worry if you are not that fit, there is a motor in the railbike that will assist you in accelerating. I highly recommend this activity.

this was soooo fun! we booked tickets online but i think walk ins might be possible too as not all bikes were occupied. but it’s better to book online anyway. the route was about 30 min one way, with a short 10-15 min break before cycling back. the view was so scenic and the spring weather was perfect! it was so relaxing cycling, definitely would return :)

A geographically interesting area that seems to be quite a popular spot for kdrama filming. It has a nice pavilion perched on the hill side overlooking a river. A quick hike down to the pavilion from the entrance.

This is an amazing place where we can see 100 mil. years of geological history. It shows tremendous value in understanding the status of the past. It shows very diverse appearances according to the angle we look at. We may feel God's gentle touch on nature for us.

Great place to visit in Cheolwon. Don’t recommend on hot and humid days as it gets super sweaty. Recommend to wear comfortable shoes for a lot of walking and stairs. It’s shooting venue for a lot of historical dramas as well.

First time being here and I’m speechless with the beauty of it. From the pavilion to it’s very beautiful bawhi (rock) that form by the eruption since 100 millions years ago It’s a worth place to visit especially during the day. The place is all free to visit. But if you want to take a ship near the site, you need to pay around 6000won if im not mistaken hehe

It is a charming and beautiful place. But you have to stand in a long queue for a ticket. There was a crowd of people waiting to buy tickets. Since we went on a university trip, we didn't have to wait. The tickets were arranged by the university. Otherwise, you may have to wait for hours to get a ticket on weekend.

I visited here to join in DMZ Peace train music festival. My friend suggest me to ride on tourist boat. It cost about 6,600 won by card per person. The boat sailing about 15 mins and captain give touristic information during driving(But I think they do not able to operating English version). We could enjoy beautiful scenery on daytime before enjoy festival.
