One of the Beautiful place in Lonavla. Must visit place. But you can not go near this Kune waterfalls why because it is under private property now. So we can see this from a distance at Khandala Monkey view point. The view is just Amazing. U can't get over from the view. You can find food stalls there and you can eat breakfast and lunch also.

There was nothing. Google map ended abruptly. Still we went ahead long in search of Kune Falls. There was a beautiful Jungle and some fields to watch. Locals said there is no such falls.

Good place to visit for fun and joy. Road towards waterfall is very raw and cars with low ground clearance may get damaged due to big rocks on the raw road. There are many waterfalls you can enjoy on the way.

The directions on google maps is wrong and the actual entrance is 4kms ahead. The path to the falls is also really bad and can only be trekked. Do not take your cars. Would not recommend.

Shaniwarwada located in kasba peth. you can reach here from deccan via pune station bus and also other transport available, this is the historic place in india from peshwekalin . one of the most famous kach mahal was present here , but now there is no kach mahal present here. not well managed but very cheerful place.

The place belongs to a rich heritage but nothing is left now. Only foundation is there what once used to be a 7 stories palace of the peshwas. It's the signature monument of the Pune city hence good of a visit. Once you should visit this. It's close on Mondays. There is light and sound show in the evening. The ticket for entry costa 25 rupees.

I had wanted to visit Dagdusheth Ganpati Mandir for a long time, and finally got the chance. Even though it was Diwali, the crowd was well-managed, and devotees were able to move around comfortably thanks to the efficient security personnel. One small improvement could be providing a tap or facility to wash hands, as we place our chappals on the stand with bare hands. Overall, the temple is well-organized, spiritually uplifting, and a must-visit for anyone coming to Pune.

It’s best to park your vehicle 500 meters to 1 km away and take a rickshaw to the temple. • You can choose a fast-track darshan pass for around ₹100 to directly go for darshan. There is also a regular darshan queue behind the temple where you can go without a pass. • Photography is not allowed inside the temple. If you wish to take pictures, you must visit the temple office and get proper permission first. • There is a shoe rack facility available where you can safely keep your footwear and get a token. Overall, a wonderful and peaceful darshan experience. Just be mindful about the approach road and parking, and everything else will be absolutely blissful. Visited Pu La Deshpande Garden (Yokohama Garden) on Sunday — it’s a really beautiful and well-maintained place. The staff around the park are polite and helpful. The ticket counter accepts both online and offline payments (₹5 per head), and there’s proper parking available too. The parking guy even said “thank you” after payment — which is honestly rare and quite nice to hear! 😄 One thing to note: sitting on the lawn is not allowed, though many people still sit there until the guards come with whistles to ask them to move. Overall, it’s a lovely garden to relax and take a walk in, but it does get a bit crowded, especially on weekends.

I visited this Garden in the month of October on saturday. This place is 2 kms from Sarasbaug lakshmi mata mandir. Plents of parking for 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler, fee 20 for 4 wheeler Entry fee 10 rupees each for phase 1 and phase 2. Phase 1 is neatly maintained and phase 2 not much to roam around. Nice seating arrangaments in this japanese style laid garden. Kids will enjoy. Eateries loacated outside of the gate kike chat, samosa and wadapav. Okay to visit once

A good place to spend couple of hours in the evening. Entry fee is Rs.5 per adult. Parking is as shown in image per hour. Enough place to park 2 wheelers, limited parking for 4 wheelers. Once entered into garden, there is no water to drink, no food or toilets, every facility is outside the entry point. Garden is well maintained because no one is allowed to enter grass or water. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to witness a rainbow due to fountain spray.

P. L. Deshpande Garden is a well-maintained and peaceful place with plenty of greenery and a small water body that adds to its charm. The garden is easily accessible by public transport and also has ample parking for cars and two-wheelers. The entry ticket is very affordable, just ₹5, making it perfect for a casual visit or evening walk. There’s also a play area for kids with swings and slides, but unfortunately, most of the slides are broken and out of shape. The area isn’t well maintained and lacks child-safe flooring, so it’s not ideal for small children. Overall, a great spot to relax and enjoy nature, but the play area definitely needs improvement.

The trek or road climb is fun and not too long. The view from the top is amazing, especially during monsoon when everything turns lush green. Clouds move around you, sometimes covering everything, and the wind feels like it can lift you up. It’s peaceful, refreshing, and worth the trip. Food stalls at the top serve authentic rural Maharashtrian food—pithla-bhakri, curd, kanda bhaji, and lime sharbat. After the climb, it tastes even better. It’s a perfect weekend spot for nature lovers, trekkers, history fans, or anyone needing a break from the city.

There is lot of eateries for small snacks neare stairs and at the top. Small reasturants where you can enjoy home made lunch made by local people. Food Not too expensive. Enjoyable place. You can take your own food also. Better to carry water.

I’ve been to Sinhgad Fort twice once in winter and once during the monsoon and both visits were unforgettable. The views are absolutely stunning! During the rains, the entire place turns magical with fog rolling in, clouds blanketing the mountains, and the fresh green grass swaying beautifully in the wind. One of the best spots near Pune to enjoy nature, weather, and peaceful views. A must-visit!

- I visited Sinhagad in November and it was really an awesome experience. - There are PMT buses after every 1 hour from Shaniwarwada to Sinhagad [convenient to take before 1pm]. - Two wheelers also available for a day to ride nearby area. - Make sure to meet the locals, eat the food on Sinhgad and feel the power of Maratha on fort. - Very beautifull and easy fort to climb and convenient for children also.

Th trek up Sinhagad Fort through th Sahyadri Hills is breathtaking, w stunning views at every turn. try to visit early morning or on a weekday to avoid crowds, carry H²O, & wear comfortable 👟 for th trek. Parking can get busy on weekends, but th food & views make it completely worth it!

The first trek of my life....the view after climbing the stairs for nearly 3 hours was worth it. There is a lord Shiva temple alongside the Samadi of Shivaji Maharaj. It was pure bliss...peace at its best. Simply put the trek was amazing. The best time to start is early morning. The sunrise is worth watching

Had a fabulous experience visiting the fort. Appreciate the Chhatrapati Shivaji maharaj for his historical places among the Raigadh fort. About staying experience at private hotel was worse, the local people have made rooms on their roof and charging with very heavy cost so better to plan like that u can reach at early morning and go by night. For a ticket I started waiting in s queue in the early morning at 5am and the counter opened at 7pm so there is no arrangements for seating or coupons systems. Online tickets are consumed very fast so difficult to get it. Government must give more focus on improvement.

Great place for trecking and scenic views mixed with historical architecture. You can get a cable car in case you dont wanna treck 2000+ steps. Please visit during winter or spring for best scenic views. In summer waterfalls dry up and during rainy season clouds could hinder visibility as was the case with me. Try to reach the place as early as possible in the morning as the night travel could be very risky on the road full of valleys.

Overall, Rajgad Fort is a perfect place for history lovers, trekkers, and nature enthusiasts. Visiting it feels like going back into the glorious Maratha era.

There are 2 ways to go to Rajgad fort 1) drive to the place, and 2) trek If one has time and wants some real adventure, I would suggest trek. Difficulty level is moderate but it’s fun. Will take 1.5-2 hrs to reach to the fort

The Baneshwar Temple is a historical and beautiful temple located at Nasarapur @35km away from Pune and @3km away from the NH4 highway. The temple surroundings are maintained neat and clean with spacious free parking. You can see number of Turtles and Colourful fishes in the small pond. There is a beautiful garden which is open from morning till evening 5:30pm only. One has to buy tickets to enter and enjoy themselves in the garden.

Lord shiva temple is especially famous for new weds coming here to seek a blissful life. The turmeric powder holi is a unique tradition of this temple where all devotees offer turmeric powder to lord shiva and also pour turmeric in the air. You will have to cross hundred stairs to reach to this ancient temple but it's totally worth. The energy and vibes at the top are simply amazing.

I recently visited Khandoba temple at Jejuri as Khandoba is out deity and we often visit this place to take blessings , this time I went with my father and we decided to take steps to climb up the fort as kid I visited but this time it was bit difficult for my father as he is 60+ now but it took us like 30 min to climb up we took breaks to have water in between but when we reached up it was all worth it despite Sunday the number of visitors were less , we got the darshan and then we proceeded back to pune , only issue is that you will find rikshaws easily , and food availability is less like less options are there .

Visited Temple on Sunday. There was rush but however darshan was done within 15 minutes. There were 2 parkings. One with 200m away from temple.Rs 50 parking fee for four wheeler. Prasad was good. Pooja thali was for Rs 60.

We recently visited Mayureshwar Ganpati Mandir at Morgaon, and honestly, it was such a peaceful and divine experience. We reached early in the morning around 5:30 AM, so luckily there was no waiting at all - we got direct darshan without any crowd. The atmosphere at that time was so calm - the sound of bells, a gentle breeze, and that early morning silence just made everything feel so spiritual. The temple is clean and beautifully maintained, and the Ganpati idol looks truly divine. There are a few shops outside for prasad & flowers but they were closed since we reached very early in the morning ... Parking space is also available, and tea stalls were open at that time, early in the morning.... If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely suggest going early morning for a peaceful and fulfilling darshan. Truly a beautiful and soul-soothing experience! 🙏✨

One off the Ganapati temple from Shree Ashtavinayak. Its based in Morgaon, the temple has great history. Temple is built in ancient times but is still in great condition, many pilgrims visit here daily. Lot of shops nearby temple. Its well maintained.

We went to Pratapgad Fort with family. There is no ticket for anyone. It has historic significance. This fort was made by Shivaji when he was 16years old and it was the most smaller fort built by Shivaji. This fort has one ambey bhawani mandir and shivling and hanuman temple which has historical importance. There is also Afzal Khan grave . While you visit take guide he will explain you everything.

Its well maintained and worth every step. Its easily walkable and view is crazy. There's not ample space for parking so adjust accordingly. It gets very foogy by the evening and advised to carry a torch or phone with sufficient battery as there are no street lights and power cuts are frequent. We went to Mahabaleshwar hoping to enjoy the rainy season. Packed all our rain gear, umbrellas, jackets, even plastic covers for bags. But as soon as we reached… the rain just disappeared! Not even a single drop! It was like the rain said, “Okay, my job is done. You guys take care now.” Instead, we were welcomed by thick clouds everywhere. Couldn’t see much ahead while driving – the fog was like “peekaboo!” every few minutes. But honestly, the cloudy weather made the whole place look magical. The valleys, trees, and hills covered in clouds looked straight out of a movie scene. We missed the rain, but the cool weather and peaceful vibes made up for it. Sitting on a hilltop with hot chai and roasted corn in that fog… pure bliss. It felt like the clouds came just to give us a cozy hug. So yeah, Mahabaleshwar didn’t give us rain, but it gave us something better — quiet, calm, and some unforgettable views. Highly recommend going there if you want a break from all the city noise. Just… don’t chase the rain. It’s faster than it looks!

Amazing journey, must visit in monsoon. But avoid night driving, visibility is very low in night. Can't see even 20 meter ahead. Otherwise it's just like experiencing heaven in monsoon.

Visit during monsoon. When we visited there were rains but not heavy downpours. It should be drizzling not heavy rains, if there is heavy rain then the entire place is covered in fog, it would be difficult to drive in the fog in the hill station and also some view points will be closed. Hotels, restaurants and taxi service , bus services are available within Mahabaleshwar and to reach as well multiple bus or cab services available. Weekends will be too crowded, There are 3 temples at the hill top and they are a must visit.

Visited yesterday.This is one the best places in mahabaleshwar. Need to pay entry fees to start journey before this point. After this you need to pay 50/- for parking. Try to visit this place in evening to get a good view of sunset. You can take horse ride, boat ride, game shows, activity games and some tasty food items. Try to take horse ride with photoshoot. . Main market and mapro garden is near from this. Good place for spending time. Boating charge 600 for 4 person for 30min.

The lake itself looks nice from a distance, but it’s extremely crowded, especially on weekends. You often have to wait for hours just to get a boat ride, and the entrance area gets very chaotic. During the rainy season, the place becomes filthy and muddy, and the hygiene is below average. The nearby horse stand adds to the mess — the area is dirty and full of people constantly chasing you for rides. They charge around ₹200 for just 500 meters, which is absolutely not worth it. Parking is another headache — very congested and disorganized. Overall, this is just one of those places you visit once to tick it off your list, not for the experience itself.

It is one of the most scenic attractions in Mahabaleshwar. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills. Great for boat rides while watching the sunset. We went during May end , so the evening breeze by the lake was so soothing. Gets extremely crowded during peak tourist season. There are ample parking spots, but due to the rush of tourists, it is very difficult to find a parking spot nearby. I have seen families walk a considerable distance from their parking area to reach the lake. It all depends upon whether you get a parking or not , if you have a driver, they may drop you at a distance. Apart from this, the lake vicinity has different activities like boat riding , horse riding, etc, and way too many fast food joints selling all kinds of food and drinks. There are fruit vendors , toy vendors , and so many shop keepers all around. If you just want to sit by the lake and watch the sunset amidst all the cacophony , come a bit early and sit a little away from the main entrance point.

This lake is very beautiful. It would have been much better if there was no rain and fog. Boat ride was thrilling and the fun filled horse riding with my son. Plenty of stalls for street food like corn, tea, etc…

Table land is the second highest asian plateu in India . From this place we can see the views of following places - 1. Pandavgad , Wai and nearby villages ( previously known as Viratnagari as per Indian Mythology )at the eastern part of plateu 2.Kamalgad at the western part of plateu 3.Dhom dam at the western part of plateu Table land is the great place for people who enjoy long walk, running, playing ground sports. Table land turns more beautiful from 20 September to 11 October every year as this is flowering period of many wild flowering plants found in western ghats .

At the entrance, horse riders offered to take us to 10–12 points, but honestly, only 2–3 of them are major spots that you can easily walk to within 1–2 km. 6 kms valley having historic relation with mahabharat. Where it is believed Pandavas spent their exile here. Pandavas footprints, caves, devils kitchen is here many movie shots were taken here. It's long plateau. Asias 2nd highest Volcanic Plateau. U cannot walk full plateau there are horses and carts which costs around 1400 to roam everywhere and they explain you story. Best to visit during sunset 🌇

One of the best places to visit during the rainy season. Do not go for any guide or so just travel by urself they will only give information on which movie was shot where and which battle was fought and etc. If horse riding available go for it and bargain for it without fail, for 9 spots go for as low as 1200-1500. You will get some picturesque views if you travelling on low rainy days. Do not spend 20 rs on pandav caves, not worth it it's just a simple shiv bhagwan statue without any lights in cave. Note: from June horse riding is banned for three months due to the rainy season.

Absolute picturesque. It has 9 points to visit. Ghodawalas will approach you right outside, you can either take a horse or walk on your own. If you take a horse then try to bargain cause they charge 3600Rs which is super expensive and not justified at all. We bargained to get the horse at 1300 for 6 points and rest 3 points we walked.

The place is beautiful. There is some parking space 2-3 km before the lake, because the place gets too crowded especially around monsoons. The water is clean, but not as clean as 15 years before when I used to visit weekly. They're diverting the excess dam water by Making some artificial waterfall ish thing over here. I gave some अर्घ्य to the setting sun over here. Amazing. Let me know your comments, experiences about this place.

I visited the Kaas Plateau end of October. The flowering season was almost over, but i was not an inch disappointed. The valley is magical with the clouds streaming through it. It was truly a splendid experience, i will cherish for the rest of my life. The walk to the Kumudini lake with bring forth a freshness you have never felt earlier. Must visit if you are in Maharashtra.

A must visit World Heritage site..! I visited in second week of September. Drive on ghat road is very scenic. Stay overnight to enjoy the calmness and feel those energetic vibes of nature ir can be done in a day as well. Booked morning slot of 7 to 11 and reached parking area. Ample parking and food options both veg and non veg. Takes around 2 hours to roam around and admire the nature.

We went there on the last day of the season after most flowers have withered, yet the place was heavenly. The crowd was almost non existent. The meadows were carpeted golden yellow. The staff was very cooperative and the facilities were good . A bus picks you up from the parking lot to the gates , from where an electric buggy drops you off inside . Here you are free to walk around and enjoy the park . The breeze was cooled and the the park was a lush green which made it a beautiful experience.

It's good, it's a land of 10 Sq Km. Having 800+ species of plants , different types of flowering plants are covered in huge areas. The plateau is formed by volcanic rock. The best time to visit this area is from post June to the mid September to experience nature. We visited in mid October and found a few flowers. We can call it wild plants. Visitors who stay past 4:30 p.m. often have a better chance of spotting wild animals, as many species become more active during the late afternoon.

Kaas is hilly village located 23 km away from satara town. Bus and private car and bike services connectivity are available. The riding.experiance to this village was mesmerizing natural seenic views to till reach this village. Kaas pather or kaas plateau is awesome ecosystem regconised by UNESCO world heritage site. They charged repuess 50 per head. Rest room is available. Small eataries shop are there.

One of giant waterfalls on shayari forest range . The route was quite amazing to ride since lot of view points through the falls road. Entry fee rupees 50 per head. Parking and rest room facilities are available. You can do small trek to view this gigantic waterfall. The view was stunned visulas that fals flow through valley. Currently water flow is just okay. Monsoon is Perfect time.

Excellent place to visit. Good waterfall in Sahyadri range near Satara. Walkways and stairs are well developed so you can have good views of waterfall. Entry fee is Rs 50 per person. If you want to see both falls you have to trek little more. Old age people who has difficulty in walking should avoid. Two water falls big and small. Big water fall can be seen from specially made overview platform. It's in valley and in rainy season you will enjoy this waterfall. Small water fall is from less height and you can go near falls. Cave behind waterfall is amazing. Enjoyed visit very much. Highly recommended during rainy season.

Has got a good view. There are multiple waterfalls there. The place is very neatly maintained. The washrooms are clean and also the surrounding.

There are 520 steps to climb to reach the cave temple. There a huge parking lot at the base of the steps. And a clean ladies & gents washroom near the entry gate. Lots of food & flower stalls all the way to the top. The Marleshwar waterfall clearly visible from the temple gallery. Temple closes by 7:30pm after which it gets very dark.

An divine place of lord shiva🐚🕉️ Must visit this temple in Shravan month as lots of devotees comes here. You will need to trek through steps. It’s an svayambhu shiv mandir inside an stone cave with only one entrance from which you will enter by bending. There is no light source inside cave only deep-jyoti makes light up this holy place. There are eternal vibes inside. Outside temple there’s big waterfall and multiple small water flows you can see. Be aware of monkeys.

I love this temple! Especially when you visit it during rainy season. The view with the waterfalls is breathtaking ! Inside the temple, there are no lights, its just the light of the lamps and the fragrance of the incense sticks which creates a serene atmosphere. Words fall short to describe it. You have to walk good amount of flight of stairs to reach to the top where the temple is. I visited the temple with my parents and siblings on a Monday morning but it wasn’t the month of Shravan so were lucky to skip the queue. Careful of the landslides and slippery surface/floor inside the temple!

The monsoon is the best time to visit, but the waterfall flows all year round, which is quite unique. ✔️ The climb has around 300–500 steps, but there are small stalls on the way for refreshments. ✔️ Be careful during monsoon as the steps can be slippery. ✔️ Please help in keeping the temple surroundings clean.

Ganapati Temple is regarded as the most beautiful temple in south Maharashtra. It is situated on the banks of river Krishna at Sangli. Thorle (elder) Chintamanrao Patwardhan consecrated the idol in 1843. The temple has been artistically built with black stone brought from Jyotibha hills. There is a platform, a hall and a 'Nagarkhana' inside the vast two acres complex of the temple. The entrance door has been carved out of different coloured natural wood. The idol of the Lord Ganapati is made of copper. The idol has been kept in a way that it is visible from any part of Ganapati Peth. It looks so beautiful when the silvery rays of evening sun brighten the face of the Ganapati idol. Ganapati festival is celebrated with great religious fervour for five days from Bhadrapad Shuddha Chaturthi. Sangli is well connected by air, train and road. Dharamshalas and small budgeted hotels at Sangli are available for accommodation.

-Get down at main entrance, we mistakenly had dropped down backside gate. -Senior citizens are allowed to sit in the entrance if any large queue was there. -Inside temple, womens are separately in queues to have Darshan as its Mahalaxmi Temple. -Drinking water facility available when you come out of Darshan. -Several shops available inside for shopping devotional items. -Peda Prasad nearby exit of Darshan is the cheap and best which was sold by local guys. -Also, Laddu Prasad sold by Temple committee. -Best part is free Bhojanalaya as like in Shirdi was available and taste was very good. (Variety Rice, sabhji, butter milk, sweet.) -Timing 12PM to 3PM -This is located in backside of temple which is of 50m distance from temple. -Free Tokens are given in main entrance and backside gate. -Volunteers/Members inside Bhojanalaya strictly instructs all devotees to not waste food. One should complete his/her food and allowed to get up for handwash. - Plates for children were asked there parents before giving in order avoid wastage of food. - But this Bhojanalaya is present in 1st floor, which is a very big minus point for those where not able to step up. - Footwears are to be kept outside Bhojanalaya.

Beautiful and very very old temple. Powerful vibes can be experienced. Crowded throughout the day. We had gone in the afternoon and early morning and both times the temple was crowded. We were blessed to have a security officer help us out of the blue as my mom couldnt stand and wait in the queue for long hours. Once inside you can feel the essence of an old temple and the idol is so so mesmerising! Truly blessed to have got a chance to visit the divine Mahalaxmi!
