Must visit Fort in Maharashtra. The boat will drop you at the entrance. The boats have a schedule where they pick you up after 45 minutes. So you get to see the important points quickly before returning. We didn't get food and water from the fort. We can see two fresh water lakes in the middle of the salty sea.

Very nice way to spend half a day, immersed in the history of the fort. The boatmen extort money, but if you can overlook that, then it's worth the info the give.

An incredible slice of Indian history still remaining in an iconic condition well worth a visit by boat , for about an hour onshore. The skill and craftsmanship are classically inspiring . Get someone to guide your visit or at least find out more about the long history of this Island fortress , there was an original tunnel connection under the seabed back to the mainland as a last ditch escape route for the people . Ferry tickets and fort visitation are separate tickets but well worth it for such a rare piece of history . Sailing over and back by boat was very chilled out 😎

The sand on this is soft as silk. Although you'll find shells and corals if you move towards the shore. A lane of huts setup around the beach where you can relax, enjoy the sea view while you're on the net hammock swing, enjoy the fish or local cuisine which is prepared by local women's and served with love.

Lovely beach, filled with white sands glowing sky amidst dark blue Arabian Sea. From Nagaon it took about an hour to reach Kashid city. Beach has parking place. As you take a turn and enter Kashid, you get to view the beach surrounded by black stones. There are camel and horse rides organised in the beach, while motor rides and bullock horse rides are popular. Surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, mangroves this beach is popular for sunset. There are shops for shoppers and street food for foodies. A beach not to miss visiting from Alibaug.

Decent beach as compared to Revdanda or others around.. Good white sand and fairly neat. Some water sports also available here.

The beach was very clean and well-maintained, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. If you’re planning to visit Alibaug, I personally recommend going to Kashid Beach — it’s much better than the other beaches nearby.

Very good to spend with friends and family. It seems like personal beach. But I like to request the local shops and tourist not to litter beaches. Use dustbin. It's pathetic if you all be so careless about each and every places.

Amada serving amazing pizzas. Red bonnet serving fab burgers. Thali, buffet and jain food is also available. Locker facility available inside the park for your belongings. For water park dry fit attire is necessary.One can change once they r done with the rides. After 6 pm when the rides are closed there is a carnival in the premises. Also the park looks beautiful after sunset because of the lighting and fountains.

The kids (and adults!) loved the rides. We had a blast getting soaked on the water flume, taking a spin on the classic carousel, and getting competitive on the indoor shooting ride. As evening fell, the park completely transformed with beautiful lights, making the whole place feel truly magical, especially the area around the lake. However, we need to share a very important tip. Our visit coincided with the peak Diwali festival break, and we weren't the only ones with the idea! The park was packed with families, which created a fantastic, festive atmosphere but also meant one thing: a huge rush. This led to a massive number of people in the queues and, as you'd expect, very long waiting times for all the popular rides. We still managed to have a great time and make wonderful memories (the pictures prove it!), but the waiting definitely took up a big part of our day. So, here is our number one piece of advice for anyone planning to visit Imagica during a busy period like Diwali, a long weekend, or any school holiday: It is highly advised to book the Express tickets. It might cost extra, but it will save you hours of standing in line and let you enjoy far more of the amazing attractions the park has to offer. Overall, a fantastic park for family fun, but plan smart during the holidays!

Imagicaa really a place where dream come true. This Independence Day our family was lucky to witness great celebrations at Imagicaa. Great attractions are Nitro ride, Gold rush, Deep Space, Xbox motion theatre, Rajasaurus. The atmosphere was electrifying over there. On 15th August 2025, we completed all rides. Only two rides were not functioning. Mr. India and I for India shows were excellent. They have done a great work. Children enjoyed a lot over there. In the evening the fountain and laser shows made everyone cheering. Overall it was a very exciting experience. The park was neat and clean. There was drinking water facility at many places. Variety of tasty items were sold. My advice to first time visitors is to study the map of Imagicaa properly and click the photograph of time table of all rides properly. Enter the park after having brunch so you don't need to worry about food over there. You have to walk or you can hire a golf car for the park. Golf car can be bit costly. Mirror maze, Glow Imagicaa, Trampoline park, House of Stars, Projecto were added attractions but they charged additionally. Even there is Snow Park but it costed additionaly. So on the first day only focus on Theme Park and it's ride. The park was open till 8:00p.m. and many rides were fuctional till late. Aqua imagicaa also requires one full day. So if you want to enjoy everything fully, you will require 3 days over there. Novatel Hotel over there provides great packages for stay and entry to the park. Go to their website study properly and then enjoy the park. Don't forget that you have to walk a lot if you want to enjoy. Kids also like small small attractions like bikes, London type bus and various other segments for them.

My food package included Lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Your food voucher will contain the list of restaurants where you will be served food. I prefer buy the food voucher otherwise everything is very expensive.Here's more detailed classification:- (1)Lunch:- For lunch I went to Zooballoo's Buffeteria. It is near Alibaba aur Chalis Chor. They had a proper Buffet. I waited 17 minutes to get in . It is build near that Castle sort of structure. Roberto's Food Court also serves lunch I am not sure whether it serves in buffet style or select meal combos. (2) Evening Snacks:- For Evening Snacks I went to Roberto's Food Court,they had some select snacks of which you had to select one,there was also the option of beverages. Roberto's Food Court is near the lake,in front of it is the Arrmada restaurant. Armada restaurant is a ship-like structure restaurant. There was no waiting time there. (3)Dinner:- For Dinner i went to Red Bonnet American Diner Restaurant. It is near Nitro. Nitro is a roller coaster ride the big one. Roberto's also serves dinner but is is select meal combos no buffet, we were told that Zeze Grill was also serving dinner,but we were not able to find that probably because the Theme park is so huge. In Red Bonnet restaurant we had 2 options,veg or non veg. Each meal had a burger + Fries + Drink (Pepsi). There was no waiting time in the restaurant. The Rides:- I did the following rides:- (1)Nitro Roller Coaster:- I had to wait in line for around an hour. The ride lasts just 1 minute or less, but worth it. The ride has 6 rows,4 people per row,so accordingly 24 people per ride. When you will be exiting the roller coaster you can also buy some souvenirs or buy the picture taken from the cameras installed in the ride. They also have the facility of keeping your bags and other valuables at a storage space once you finish you can collect them back. (2) Alibaba aur Chalis Chor:- I had to wait for around 55 minutes,the rude lasted 7 minutes. But I felt it was not worth it. Inside the lines they have ac and ventilation but quite uneven,the room felt suffocating,I even saw a person faint. In this ride there will be automatic driving cars with capacity of 4 people,2 people front row,2 people back row. Each person will get a gun pre attached in the car,you have to point that gun to the chalias chor throughout the tunnel. Be careful it's a laser gun. At the end when you exit you can buy souvenirs there also. (3)Mr India The Ride:- I had to wait for like 35 minutes or something. Inside the theatre type of area there will be like around 8-10 cars,their position fixed,in that each car has 4 rows and can seat like 4 people per row. Here again you can keep your bags and other valuables before the ride. The ride lasts around 10-15 minutes. It's a 4D sort of ride. (4) Mermaid Show:- I had to wait like 10-15 minutes,the show lasts around 10 minutes or something. There is no seating inside,so if you want to sit you will have no choice other than to sit on floor. It's an atrium sort of room,where like a planetarium the show will run. (5) Bhangarh Fort:- I did not fully attend this time,but at first they had a 10 minutes short preview of history of Bhangarh Fort,in an animated movie,than there is some ride or i don't know exactly. There was no waiting time outside this activity. (6)Tea Cup Ride:- I had to wait just 3-4 minutes. The ride lasts around 5 minutes. . (C) Shopping:- As I mentioned there are some souvenir shops at the end of some rides. There is a shop called English Bakery where you can buy souvenirs plus there is a counter where you can buy some snacks also. Recommendations:- (1)Try to come at the earliest because there are long queues at ticket counter. (2)You can buy food voucher while buying ticket at the park or you can buy food voucher later on,I suggest buy voucher when buying ticket .

⚠️ Disappointing Experience at Alibag Beach Our visit to Alibag Beach was quite disappointing. The place was extremely crowded, with food stalls, rides, and people everywhere — it felt chaotic, and there was barely any space to relax or enjoy the beach. The parking situation was terrible, and there seemed to be no proper crowd management or supervision by the authorities. Even though the area has been recently renovated, the beach was littered with food waste and not maintained well. Overall, it’s not a place I would recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful or clean beach experience. There are much better, quieter beaches nearby like Nandgaon or Kashid that offer a more relaxing atmosphere. 🌊🚫

Beautiful beach, lots of water activities. We tried the speed boat and enjoyed it! It was quite crowded when we visited. We also went at night and loved the cold breeze. You can walk to Kolaba Fort during low tide (7 am to 1 pm), but we missed it.

Visited Varsoli Beach in Alibaug recently with my cousins. There’s ample parking and plenty of fun beach and water activities. If you prefer a quieter spot, just walk a little ahead for a peaceful, less crowded stretch of beach. Perfect for a relaxing day !

Varsoli is an ideal destination for those seeking a peaceful vacation that still offers a range of activities and culinary delights. The main attraction of Varsoli is its clean, white, and flat sandy beach. There are plenty of resorts and homestays available in and around Varsoli, making it a perfect getaway for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts alike.

Excellent beach other than Kashid. The water however does not seem very inviting for a dip. Not very clean as compared to Kashid. Long beach with lots of white sand and breeze. Lots of activities to do like Cycling, banana boat and other water sports. Ends of the beach offer an amazing strech of sand for a quiet walk by the sea. Almost completed my step count on the beach :) The food on the shacks and shops near by is amazing too. We tucked in to some great Prawns and Surmai fry at a good price. Saw some kind of a snake on the beach too !

They own this spacious hall .it is very nicely maintained.Total surrounding of temple and village is covered with lush greenery.Whole area is very neat and clean.A beautiful river is very neatly and cleanly maintained.Prices of hall for any function is minimal.You can opt for accommodation in the hotels build by Temple authority and these Hotels are very much reasonable also they have multiple accomodation options.Climate here is really pleasant.

Shri vighneshwar Ganesh temple ozar is situated near the banks of kukadi river. A very peaceful, beautiful and refreshing temple. You can also visit Lenyadri one more Ashtvinayak which is about 15 kms from ozar near Junnar

Vighnaharta Bappa was a great dharshan. Cleaning was well maintained during pandemic as well social distancing norms. It is great to visit during off season since there will be less crowding.

Charlotte Lake & Lord’s View Point are next to each other. It’s known for the pretty sunsets, there are small stores close by that sell snacks and tea. It’s a small hike for 15min from the main path. It is super safe both at day and night to walk through the forest. I would recommend this place if you’re at Matheran for visit.

It's a must-visit if you're heading to this beautiful hill station. This serene spot lets you sit quietly by the lake, absorb the tranquility, and truly feel connected to nature. To reach the lake, you'll need to trek a bit through the forest — a refreshing and adventurous experience. While horse rides are also available, the walk through the woods is something you shouldn’t miss. ⚠️ A word of caution: During the monsoon, the path can get slippery, and accidents have happened in the past — so please be careful if you’re visiting during the rains.

This lake is a good place to visit in Matheran. The walkway to the lake is quite scenic. The lake is artificial and small but there is a nice view of landscape on the other side.

During the peak season, photo points are a little crowded and sometimes you need to be patient for your view to be ‘people free’, but all your waiting time is worth those beautiful, dreamy and wallpaper pictures. Very beautiful view point in Matheran. Huge open space for you to sit, relax, spend some time with yourself or family/ friends, absorb the atmosphere (take tons of pictures if you wish to!). On one side you have the beautiful landscape of hills and plateau and on the other side you have a beautiful waterfall! There’s a long fence on the right, however there is a point where the fence is broken and one can just hop over and walk to the edge of the ledge for an adrenaline rush (although not advisable)!

Growing up in Bombay- I frequented this place and it's got a special place in my heart- not to mention we share a birthday. This is an iconic structure that has not changed. Now visiting it as a tourist from overseas, it still captires the charm and innocence as I see families, children and young couples take selfies, chaiwallahs selling hot sweet tea and instant photographers offering the ultimate background of the Taj hotel or the gateway. Do partake of the boat ride- the diesel run bimoy ride will take out out a kilometre and back a hundred years. And the pigeons- every Victorian building attracts pigeons. Best tiem to visit is at sunrise when the city is still asleep.

The area is lively yet not overwhelming — people are enjoying the view, clicking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere. Right across from the Gateway stands the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which adds to the charm of the place. The view of this grand hotel alongside the Gateway is picture-perfect, especially as the sun starts to set and the lights slowly illuminate the surroundings. Everything about my visit felt just right — the clean promenade, the vibrant energy of visitors, and the rich history all around. It’s a spot where you can pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the beauty and spirit of Mumbai. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city for the first time.

Really one of the best places i have been to in Mumbai. This looks like really time travel experience. This building is soo beautifully done and looks really you are standing in history. Also good work my Mumbai people and the CST workers for keeping is clean and well maintaining it.

The last station of central line. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus station has many stalls for refreshment and also it has to ticket vending machines on both exits. The public toilet has air conditioning. The station sees most crowd than any railway station in entire mumbai and the closest competition is Churchgate station.

I visited in the morning, and the serene atmosphere with fewer crowds made it a calm and relaxing experience. However, note that the slides and rides are not operational in the morning; they open in the evening, making it the ideal time to enjoy these attractions. The entry fee is an affordable ₹50 per person, though additional charges apply for each ride. The park's main highlight is the well-crafted replicas of the Seven Wonders, offering excellent photo opportunities. Spacious and lush with greenery, the park also features attractions like a toy train, an amphitheater, and numerous rides.

I recently visited Wonder Park in Navi Mumbai and would say it is an average place overall. The park has some greenery and a few attractions mainly for children, like swings and a small toy train. However, apart from these, there isn’t much that makes it stand out. When I visited, most of the rides were closed due to rain, which was a bit disappointing and made the visit less enjoyable. This park can be considered for a one-time visit, especially if you are going with kids just for their time-pass. Children may enjoy the small rides and open space. But if you are looking for mental peace, relaxation, or a unique experience, you may not find it here. The overall maintenance and attractions could definitely be improved to make the park more appealing.

We visited this park in October end for the first time and instantly loved it. It is perfect for kids with different amusement rides and a toy train ride. Only 1 ride has an age limit of 16 years upwards, the toy train is open to all ages and the others are between 4 and 16 only. The park also has a Fountain Light show in the late evening, which you can enjoy from an amphitheater. The area is huge and there is enough for kids to enjoy. The park has miniatures of the Wonders of the World spread across the park.

Visited Wonders Park last weekend with my family and overall, it was a fun and relaxing outing! The highlight is definitely the replicas of the Seven Wonders of the World—really well-made and great for photos. The park is huge, green, and surprisingly well maintained for the ticket price. toy train ride gives a nice tour of the park. There are other rides too like bumper cars and a small Ferris wheel—good for kids but not high-thrill. There’s a jogging track, big chess board, and plenty of space to walk around or just sit and enjoy. The evening musical fountain show was a nice bonus! Simple but charming. One small downside: it gets crowded after 5 PM and the food stalls were a bit slow. So I'd recommend visiting in the early evening on a weekday if you want a peaceful time. Great for: families, kids, couples, morning walks Could improve: staff availability at food stalls and ride queues on weekends

DY Patil Stadium is one of the best venues in India — spacious, and very well maintained. The view from almost every seat is great, and the sound system during matches or concerts is top-notch. The crowd energy here is unbeatable! A must-visit for cricket fans, and the vibe during live events is absolutely electric

I recently visited DY Patil Stadium to watch the India vs Australia Women’s semifinal, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was electric, and the crowd’s energy made the match even more exciting. The stadium is well-maintained, seating arrangements are comfortable, and the view from almost every section is great. The facilities were clean, and the staff were quite helpful in guiding people to their seats. The only area that could improve is the food queue management during breaks, but overall, it was a memorable day watching top-quality cricket in such a fantastic venue.

An amazing experience at DY Patil Stadium! Went here for the Women’s Cricket Worldcup Finals and the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The stadium is huge, well-maintained, and the view from every stand is fantastic. The crowd energy made the match even more special! The facilities were clean, security and entry were well managed, and the sound system was great. A perfect place to enjoy live sports, can’t wait to visit again for the next match!

Watching the India Women vs Australia Women semifinal at DY Patil Stadium was an electrifying experience, offering both high-level cricket and a pulsating stadium atmosphere. DY Patil’s amenities stood out for their cleanliness and accessibility. Restrooms were regularly maintained even during peak crowd times, and food stalls offered a range of snacks—from classic stadium fare like popcorn and samosas to more elaborate options like wraps and biryani. Quick service ensured minimal time away from the live action. Security was efficient, with smooth entry and exit processes.

It was a great experience watching the match at this stadium! The atmosphere and crowd energy were amazing. However, food and soft drinks are quite expensive inside. Also, they don’t allow bags, coins in pockets, or even flag sticks — not even cardboard or paper ones — so plan accordingly. If you get seats in F or G Block, there’s a good chance you’ll appear on live TV during the match!

The stadium is located in Nerul. Easily accessible by road as next to puna highway. Nearest to Sanpada or nerul station. Have nice seating areas 360 view and airy. Washrooms are available only at base. Had opportunity to watch many shows and matches..nearby by hotels and motels available. This place should be on must visit list in monsoon if you are exploring western ghats. Going here is easy, as for most of the part road conditions are very good. You can come by car, 2 wheeler etc. In ghat section roads are narrow so expect some traffic during monsoon season. Also there is possibility of land slide etc. There are multiple waterfall points in the ghat area where government has build staircase , protective structures to access it easily. Make sure while you park your vehicle, you are not blocking on going traffic. I have seen people doing it. Be a responsible citizen. Same thing go for plastic and other garbage. In monsoon and winter expect lot of foggy weather which limits visibility so be careful. Most of the people I see go till ghat and return if they are coming from pune-nashik highway. I would highly recommend to go down till ghat ends, you will see amazing views.

I frequently stopped at different spots just to soak in the breathtaking scenery. The mall is big and has a great variety of brands, making it a nice place to visit and have fun. However, cleanliness is a major issue—cockroaches can be seen everywhere, even in the food court. There are no proper dustbins for waste disposal, and the washrooms are extremely dirty. No hand wash was provided, the flush wasn’t working, and the smell was unbearable. While the shopping experience is good, the management seriously needs to improve hygiene and maintenance.

Visited: November 2024 I'm an explorer who loves to visit historical and archaeological places, and Kanheri Caves was a real treat! Took a train to Borivali and then a shared auto for ₹25 to reach Sanjay Gandhi National Park. From there, I took the ₹20 shuttle bus that takes you straight to the caves. It’s amazing how such a peaceful and serene spot exists in the middle of Mumbai! The caves are well-maintained, and the history here is incredible. I was astonished by the big standing Buddha statue—it’s both impressive and calming. The ancient water management system carved into the stone is fascinating—stone channels and cisterns designed to collect and guide rainwater. It’s amazing how advanced the architecture was for its time. The ancient monk cells were another highlight—small, carved-out rooms where monks once lived and meditated. Walking through them, you really feel the quiet, spiritual atmosphere of the place. It’s like stepping back into a different time. I spent about 3 hours exploring every cave—be prepared for a lot of walking and stairs. Carry plenty of water, wear comfortable shoes, and take your time to appreciate the surroundings. There are plenty of shaded spots to rest, which definitely helps. A big thanks to the security guards—one of them saved me from an aggressive monkey and handed me his stick for protection. Beware of monkeys if you’re carrying food—they’re quick! Tip: Go early to avoid the heat, keep your food sealed, and enjoy the peaceful vibe of this historical escape. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Wonderful place to visit. From entrance you have to take government bus which is chargeable to reach the cave. A full day is required to understand each and every cave in detail. The security guards help us voluntarily in explaining the sculptures. Restroom and refreshment is available at the location.

Total 109 caves worth seeing marvellous views especially in monsoon season. Then comes Lion safari- 2 km from main entrance,Ticket -₹ 136 per person. Bus will take you around for safari in which you will see lions,lioness,tigers and yes with full precautions. Museums can also be your choice but the adventure doing things I have already mentioned. To my view go to kanheri caves first as it is 7km away from main entrance and then enjoy the other things. I bet you will not regret only take a local to borivali station and 1.4 km away there u are SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK.

Climbing up to the caves, with all the ancient carvings and the view of the forest from the top, felt like stepping into history. It’s both peaceful and awe-inspiring. What I love most about the park is how it balances natural beauty with easy access. Whether you're into trekking, cycling, photography, or just sitting quietly among trees, this place has something for everyone. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to nature. Highly recommend spending a few hours here — especially if you live in Mumbai and just need to breathe.

Upgraded the national park significantly. Last time I visited vehicles were allowed inside, but now none are allowed and the experience is much better with free roads to walk on, and less noise, pollution and more closer to nature Rental Cycles The shop is right after the gate, on the right hand side. The rental starts at 8am in the morning and is rented out pretty quickly. I went on Sunday and the rental cycles were rented out by 8:30am. The cost is very cheap (80 rs for 2 hours, and then 20 rs per 30 mins) as compared to rental outside the national park (300 for 4 hours minimum, and then 60-100 per hour) You also need to pay a higher ticket price if you bring outside cycles

I think EsselWorld is a great spot to spend your weekend rather than going outside Mumbai. It has a Bird park , Water Park and Peace Pagoda. And most importantly, Greenery everywhere. It is one of the best amusement park of India. The place contains the ride for children as well as for adults. One can spend a whole day here and have fun. The entry price is also fine but it doesn’t include all the rides, for some rides you will be charged at their respective counters. They have a theatre as well in the park. Their are two sections of the park one is the amusement and the other one is water. Regarding the price for the food it’s way too high and the outside food is not allowed which at last will help in increasing your budget. The place is good for friends family and children.

This is the excellent amazing place to enjoy with family. Rights in this park are amazing. I have not ever enjoy a rather than Essel World. There are 360 roller coaster, shot and drop, top spin and thunder rides are the best thrilling rides all over the India I will highly recommend if you want to spend some time for fun and relaxing with family. It's worth of it.

This is one of the best weekend gateway for family and friends. This place has all dry rides with great amusement. There are various rides which keeps you busy throughout the day in esselworld. The food is not so tasty here but can be managed in return for fun. Overall a great place to spend weekend.

Then u can start treking. Important notes: 1. Please wear full sleeve clothes, alots of mosquitos is present there. 2. Take atleast 2 water bottle per person, because no shop available on top. 3. U can drink water on top from waterfall but need to filter with clothes. 4. Please come before 6:30 pm, rikshaw change more after that. 5. Take rikshaw wala number for return trip to station. Feels like heaven on top. Its awesome and easy trek in monsoon. It took us 2.30 hr to climb up. Please carry your food with you. There is only 1 hotel at base. And food is ok.
