Fun tour with informative tour guide. It's definitely worth checking out if interested in the history of the man made cave. Wish there was better light in some locations of cave as I tripped over a metal chain. Other than that my little family had a fun experience!

I enjoyed this tour. It's not a natural cave but rather a penstock tunnel. Worth seeing, and you get a nice impression of the lock. Great to pair with a cruise on the canal. Tour guy was extremely friendly and nice. Management seemed to have an odd vibe. But highly recommend.

We are visiting from MD and saw this Halloween Lantern evening tour, it was alot of fun in spite of the cold, rainy weather. The guide was funny and knowledgeable, and recognized the need to get us out of the rain and cold as soon as she could into the cave, yet still give all of the information she was supposed to. My only wish is that there was just a little more light to actually see the inside of the cave, and cut back on the fog machines because we could barely see enough to walk safely. It was still lots of fun and I appreciated them giving us the option to take the tour scheduled before the one we had tickets for. This is a family friendly tour, but I would like to put out there that there are quite a few steps to climb and alot of walking and needing to keep pace with your group. If you have any health issues, take that into consideration for your own comfort. Also, be sure to tip these guys and gals. Our poor guide was soaked and freezing and still kept going with a sense of humor.

This was an amazing experience. From learning about Lockport's early history to traversing the underground water tunnels. Our guide for the trip was Tony. He made the tour very interactive and injected humor into his repertoire of facts and historical deeds. I highly recommend this tour if you love history or the old lore surrounding the Erie canal. Very well done.

Lots of history to learn and very cool sights to see. Start off walking along the canal to the cave entrance. Into the cave walking and then to the boat ride at the end. With all a lot of stops as the guide tells the history. Kyle was great! Definitely a must go and also can see all the canal locks and history after the tour.

A beautiful old carousel by the lake! The kids had a great time and it felt like stepping back in time for just five cents. Some of the original animals are still there. We also enjoyed the beach. The water was nice and the kids had lots of fun! Only challenge is getting a parking nearby.

Located in Lakeside Park ( willows in the Breeze...yes, that Park) Ride for only 5 cents, if you don't have a Nickel a larger donation is always appreciated. Great Park, take a stroll on the Pier or play in the sand on the beach.

The carousel is right by the beach, surrounded by trees and picnic areas, so it’s easy to make a whole family outing of it. The music and hand-carved horses give it a nostalgic feel, and it’s always well maintained thanks to the city and volunteers. Parking is available nearby, and washrooms are close by in the park. It’s busiest on sunny weekends, but the line moves quickly. Whether you’re visiting with kids or just want a bit of old-fashioned fun, this is a must-see stop in Port Dalhousie — timeless, affordable, and full of heart.

This carrousel I believe is the oldest one in the country. It is iconic and a wonderful piece of history still cost only a nickel and it’s situated at Lakeside Park the popular Rush song it talks about Lakeside Park, beautiful beach, and park and a lot of amenities around there from dining to exploring solid five out of five in Port falhousie would highly recommend once you’re finished navigating around the park you can walk the pier to have a great vantage point of some of the best sunsets around. Great place to visit whether you are a local or a tourist.!

I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.

We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.

While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

We went to the buffet dinner for $55/person. Expensive but beautiful view, food not so good. The rolls were rock hard, the steak/beef was dry and chewy, the chicken had a strange texture. The desserts were basic and slightly bland. The food was very disappointing especially for the cost. We couldn’t get out fast enough. I think we ate about $5 worth of food. None of us finished our plates. I didn’t want to complain because the help was very nice and sweet and I know they didn’t cook it. I would never go to the buffet ever again there but would try the other restaurant instead. The view on the observation deck was amazing! Really fun for the whole family.

How can you describe a revolving restaurant hundreds of feet up in the air with breathtaking views of Niagara Falls?!?! Outstanding service and food for a relatively good price. This is an experience NOT to be missed in Niagara Falls! My dinner companion and I were blown away!!!!

At the top of Skylon Tower, you’ll be treated to spectacular views of Niagara Falls! The breathtaking scenery, combined with the sound of the falls and a gentle breeze, creates an unforgettable experience!! Additionally, you’ll learn about the daring individuals who have attempted to cross the falls and witness the various vehicles they used beyond the barrels, including kayaks and a massive steel ball.

Absolutely stunning, i highly recommend visiting once in your life time. We went during a weekday in September and it was not very crowded. Pretty east walk from one side of the falls to the other (about 30-45 min at a very leisurely pace and stopping for photos.)

This was a bucket list adventure and it was absolutely amazing! The falls are so beautiful and powerful. The scenery is incredible in the park, especially in the fall. We did a boat ride to the falls and we could feel the water spraying up on us as it hit the water below. Of course Canada is just on the opposite bank.

I've seen the falls a few times now, but this was the first time seeing them outside of winter. Waterfalls are mesmerising any season, and autumn is no exception. Incredible sights, beautiful views, absolutely recommend visiting them at least once in your life.

Amazing place. So clean, so beautiful, with the falls accessible day or night. To access the closer parts, like the boat or the tunnel, you'll have to buy a ticket. Our group booked via the hotel. You pay more, but the tour guide/ driver reduces all stress and offers an in depth historical tour to boot. The falls themselves are so beautiful, majestic in size and yet so calming. Nature the way God intended. Incredible views, and the USA side more relaxed compared to the Canadian side. The view of the falls better from Canada overall, but you get up closer from the USA side. Weekends much busier than week days, but worth it no matter what day you choose. All hotels are within 10 minutes walk, so don't worry what one you choose. Free fireworks show at 10pm every night, lasting between 5 and 8 minutes. Spectacular place.

It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at Niagara Falls, and since it was the end of the season, the streets were almost empty. Only a few people, including me, could be seen around the state park or walking along the city roads. The view of Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting the Shoreline Trail either early in the morning or in the evening.

The Cave of the Winds is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny for this experience. You will get wet. Very wet. Bring water shoes. It starts with a gallery with some history of the Cave and Goat Island. This is followed by a short movie which helps you understand more history of the industries in the past. Then the main event, down to the Decks. The elevators are smaller but it is worth it. You are literally in the flow of both water falls. Just increible. The Hurricane Deck the best part. Go in and get wet. It is safe and the water is super clean. Bicycle racks nearby. Paid parking in effect. Tram stops out front. Get tickets in packages to save money. The path below has been recently repaved and decks have been repaired (Oct 2025). Overall the decks are in very good shape. Free clean washrooms at the top. It can be very busy during the peak season. Do not climb over the barriers. You're a goner. No Free WiFi.

One of best experience in my life! We got very wet because we went all the way to the end. But it was worth it. When else can you experience this? If you go here, go under the waterfall! Gather your courage and go! If it's very windy, wait for the wind to change! Wear non-slip slippers and short clothes so you don't get too wet. It's a wonderful, wonderful experience.

What a cool experience seeing the falls up close! Prepare to get very wet! Even more so than the Maid of the Mist ride! Take your time and be careful walking! Lots of opportunities for great pictures here!

100% a great experience. We loved it!!! We weren’t prepared for how wet we would get but it was worth it. A couple of tips. I brought some sandals in a back pack and that was so nice because my wives shoes got soaked. The poncho they give you is sufficient for keeping you dry unless you have long pants and shoes on. I had shorts on and the bottom half of my shorts got wet. We just paid right at the entrance. It was easy. They take you through a museum that tells you about the history of the falls and you watch a short movie then they take you down the elevator to the walk path. It really didn’t take to long to go through the line and be on the path. You will love it just go.

This is one of the most amazing places in the world! I love those spot! It was and continues being a great part of my love story. It is a magical site that I fully recommend to anyone! Just bear mind that it is definitely better to visit it during weekdays as it is way too crowded during the weekend, which means finding a parking spot may be challenging and the wait times for the attractions may be long and too hot if you visit during the summer!

I went on Journey on the Falls on a hot Thursday morning and there wasn’t a wait or any crowds in the tunnels or the elevators. It was interesting to get up close to the falls, especially the tunnel area with a bigger area near the top. I didn’t feel the price fully justified the experience. You won’t get very soaked unless it’s windy, so no need to fuss over a poncho. Overall, still fun, but if you’re on a budget, it’s okay to skip and prioritize the boat tour.

We traveled by bus from Union bus station to Niagara falls bus station, around 43 CAN/adult. There, we bought another ticket to the falls which was about 10 minutes far by that bus. The scene was breathtaking, especially that it was snowing. We walked around for an hour, took amazing pictures and had some coffee in the adjacent cafe, then came back the same way It is a must experience for those who visit Toronto, and it deserves the effort done to reach the location

A lovely activity where you can see the waterfalls up close from below, making them even more spectacular. Definitely 5 stars for that. However, since it's really just a tunnel with 3 exits, it's over very quickly. For just 15 minutes of fun, I think the price is a bit too high. I'd recommend the boat tour and the Power Station instead.

Behind the falls was great. I'd say the viewing platform was the best part, as the portholes inside the tunnels, while interesting, were not worth the short-ish lineup. They were basically bored-out squares that had a seemingly solid block of water in front of them, so there wasn't much to see, but that's not their fault, haha.

It’s a really nice Tour to see behind this giant masses of water running down the cliff, make sure you do it when it’s warm because there will be water all arround you. They provide coats that you don’t get wet, the tour it self is not guided I believe and you need aprox 30mins to get it done. Make sure you buy tickets in advance because the lines can get long on a busy day

Such a nice trail, mostly paved. At one point you can take a ferry and join the Niagara trail too. We have done lots of variations of this. There are lots of places to stop and park. Highly recommended.

Great place for any age!! The trail is a great place to go on a nice day out!! The old canal also has some trails you can explore that bring you along a really historic area!! Love going here to relax and just go for a peaceful walk! Great place for a bike ride to the pth is all paved and ready to go! The Welland Canal is a ship canal in Ontario, Canada, connecting Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. It forms a key section of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Great Lakes Waterway. Traversing the Niagara Peninsula from Port Weller in St. Catharines to Port Colborne, it enables ships to ascend and descend the Niagara Escarpment and bypass Niagara Falls. It is the fourth canal connecting these waterways; three smaller predecessors also bore the same name. The Welland Canal eclipsed other, narrower canals in the region, such as the Trent-Severn Waterway and, significantly, the Erie Canal (which linked the Atlantic and Lake Erie via New York City and Buffalo, New York) by providing a shorter, more direct connection to Lake Erie. What an incredible place for a hike or especially a bike ride! I’ve done the entire welland in Canal. There are so many different things to see. It’s so wonderful and it’s paved all the way. It’s pretty cool watching the big ships come down the canal.

These canals are always interesting. Such a great idea of moving ships up or down. Nice to walk around when it's not that busy and watch the ships pass.

We had no GPS but we drove around till we found it and it was so cool. A ship was going through.

Severely lacking improvements. Used to go there a lot in the 90s as a child and it was kept better overall and my biggest complaint is the robbery on concessions. $23 for a slice of pizza and a water (small bottle). $11 for a small ice cream (normal size Dip N Dots). Same price for the custard (small). $11 for a pretzel (that's it) just a pretzel. The prices are just outrageous!!!! The ride times are extremely short (about 2 minutes) I guess it keeps the lines shorter that way (who knows but all the rides were extremely short). I went on a Thursday and noticed a lot of rides were closed along with many of the overpriced games. Lack of staff? Saving money by reducing staffing until the weekend? Who knows. All I can say is this- They have taken the famous Big Ferris Wheel out and didn't invest in anything to replace it with, just the slabs of concrete bases it used to sit on. It's actually sad. Nothing new as far as rides have been added in a very long time (since the Super man Ride of Steel)? Seems like the management have given up and at this point are trying to milk customers for everything it's worth in concessions before selling out to another company. Sad, a real shame.

Overall we had a great time, unfortunately the water park was closed but it was the end of August. Rides were great, something for everyone. Lines were reasonable and vary throughout the day. Food options were limited and grossly overpriced. Tables were sticky and not clean, roof water dripping on the table (lost a star easily for this alone). The paid go-karts were boringly slow, definitely the slowest I’ve ever experienced (lost .5 star). Staff were pleasant. We all look forward to our next year’s visit when the waterpark is open!

We were just at the park camping this weekend. We went right when it opened at 11 to go to Rde is Steel. But it didn’t open until around 11:30. Not impressed. Then a couple of the main rollercoasters were closed for the season? We brought our own food. But I can see why people were complaining the food prices were high. Our camp site and the laser show at the end of the day were both great!

First time here. Was decent experience.Staff was friendly.Had to go through security search was odd we dont do that in Canada.The biggest complaint was getting season passes there was not goid information regarding id n such after buying passes. We had to make 2nd trip back to our motel in Attica paid extra for this. Other then that was good experience. Food was bit pricey so we bought the day food upgrade.Since we do not drive made it difficult to get back n forth from Attica. Totally enjoyed my 4 days there.I will find six flags locations to go to there are easier when person doesn't drive.

It was ok! It has been many years since I have visited and it seems like it has gone downhill but we had a good time. The cost for everything is very high! One thing that was concerning, a child was not tall enough for the rollercoaster and was still let on. The worker was trying to do the right thing but other patrons were yelling to let her on and unfortunately the pressure must have got the best of her because the child was let on the ride. That was absolutely not ok. I have lost a child and it's not something you ever want to experience. I wouldn't trust the attendants to make sure your child is safe to go on the ride.

Went on free Thursday in October was great weather not hot or cold was plenty of people for a weekday. Got to see the baby red panda were so cute .We had a burger at the burger restaurant was very good weird the pop was more than the burger! Spent couple of hours there got to see everything loved the polar bear and giraffes and the rainforest.

This zoo may be small in size but it is really nice. They have so many cool animals like Hyenas, Snow Monkeys, Seals, Polar Bears and of course Buffalo, as well as so much more. The Hyena I saw was so cute. Also apparently I went there while they were celebrating their 150th anniversary so there were a bunch of big light up displays and animal figures. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. It is a lot of fun.

A wonderful zoo with friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. The zoo is very easy to navigate and isn't so large that you feel like you can't see everything in a timely manner. My wife and I purchased the giraffe encounter and that was just the icing on the cake. I would highly encourage you to look at and purchase an encounter to get a behind the scenes look that you can't get otherwise.

Very skimpy on animals. Good for a nice walk on a good day. I hope they turn it into an animal rescue site and rehab . We don't really need to cage more wild animals but great if born in captivity or a rescue. I understand the eagles can't fly doe to injury, the animals there are well taken care of and look really healthy.

Waste of money. This was the worst zoo I have ever been to $60 plus for 3 people plus parking! 0 out of 10 do not recommend. The animals looked like they were unalived. The lions looked half starved. The animals barely moved. The polar bear which was the highlight of the visit looked miserable sitting in dry dirt. No water in sight or anything for the poor guy. This place makes me see while animals should not be in cages. They did not look happy at all. I wished I could have saved them from their despair. Poor things. Do better for the animals. Also they were decorating but not decorating. Just had junk laying everywhere in piles even blocking walk ways. Very unprofessional and unpleasant in my opinion. Awful place 😖

Once again a visit for the 'Zoomagination'. 🎊 This event never disappoints. Best viewed in the later evening hours, but come early enough to check out a show. 👍 Easy walking,🚶‍♂️ but a bit of it to do, to see all the displays. Most of the animals are asleep, or the areas are closed, so not an extra distraction. Light displays are spectacular and well done, with some being interactive. Great for all ages! Don't miss this amazing event ❤️ while its here! Run, don't walk! 😉

Our first trip to the Buffalo Zoo as we were passing through the area was great. A smaller zoo but with plenty of animals to see. It is an older zoo, 150 years old, and some areas are very dated, but you can see they are working to update all the areas. They were setting up for the Zoo Lantern Festival that looks like it is going to be amazing. We spent about 4 hours at the zoo and still didn't get to everything. I guess it just means another trip back when we are passing through Buffalo again.

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.

We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.

Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!

The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.

What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.

Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

We visited the Martin House on our way to Niagara Falls. The architecture is beautiful, and the history behind it is fascinating. It even inspired us to visit Paris to see the original piece of the Statue of Victory.

Came early for dinner but didn't want the buffet so ordered from the bar. Bar staff is great but they were overwhelmed with drink and food orders. We ordered at 5:30 and waited over an hour for our food. Another table waited 2 hours. We spoke with a female manager about our experience. Her response was that the customers are very happy with the buffet. Unfortunately the regular bar patrons are not happy but that didn't seem to matter. We later spoke with Rob, he was extremely understanding, listened very patiently and did what he could to take care of one of the tables that still hadn't gotten their order after 2 hrs. He is an asset to Delaware North as well as the bar tender, Rich, who was also very helpful and did his best given the situation. This is a good example for how to handle a negative situation. Well done Rob and Rich!

Great place to meet up with friends. Friendly bartenders and great service. Restaurant is clean with a good selection of menu options. Quick service area accommodates all your snacking needs. Local bands on the weekends play a variety of genres making it the perfect place to go on those rainy weekend nights!

Hamburg Gaming is a wonderful, clean, safe, fun casino. It is one of our most favorite casino's to visit and we live 90 minutes away. Love to play here every chance we get.

Erie County Fair - I forgot how great the stunt artists are!! Go. See. These. Shows!! The Red Trouser Show (hilarious and great acrobatic stunts). Also the Ultimate Stunt Circus - I realized a few times that my mouth was hanging open as I'm watching. These are impressive, Nationwide shows in our little neck of the woods! Some party of my WNY brain wants to discount the fact that they are coming here like a grade school project, but ALL of these acts are Great! Don't miss the Yummy Goodness here. Will Will was the nice guy up front when you enter and my mom didn't have her ID so I have he let her wait right with him and told me don't worry just go to the car and get her info. Very nice man and the money guy with the glasses it was very nice and funny especially I told him not to tell my wife I took some money out of the ATM and he just left and then my wife had to cash in her winnings and I said you didn't tell her did you? Nice man

It needs to be a little updated staff was friendly but they didn't have drinks excessible or easy to get to also. There wasn't many wait staff but A-OK casino. I do recommend this for my friends and I will be back. Oh yes You're also as a live band there which was a decent Band.

Great visit! Very rich with culture and good people! Ive been there since i was (5) at art shows. The art is top notch and well worth seeing and buying.

This was our first visit to the Chautauqua Institute. We went for Week 3 and joined some of our friends from California for the week. We had no idea what to expect - and even after the first few days, we were still taking it all in. This gated community has a rich past with hundreds of historic buildings and homes right next to Chautauqua Lake. We enjoyed a lot of the activities that week - from lectures and concerts at the Amphitheater to plays at the theatre to a steamship tour around the lake on the Chautauqua Belle. We looked forward to our morning walks along the lake and up and down the streets to look at the lovely homes. The only thing we didn't like was the hotel we stayed at - the Spencer Hotel & Spa (which I also reviewed). We've already reserved our room for next year at the Athenaeum Hotel.

Beautiful place with good acoustics for shows. Parking is $20 and quite far away but a shuttle is available.

An artsy, upscale, well-maintained and self-contained village in the countryside beside Ch. Lake. Many activities available in the busy summer season, but we appreciated quiet walks on uncrowded paths in the fall off-season. Very leashed-dog-friendly. Leisurely 12 mph speed limit is not always adhered to in the off season.

Last weekend I was the guest of a friend at the Chautauqua Institution to hear conservative pundit Jason Riley, who is originally from Buffalo, went to my Alma mater - University of Buffalo, sits on the Editorial Board of the Wall Street Journal and is a Fox News contributor. I told him before he signed my book, that I disagreed with him on somethings, Jason's response, ".. are you sure you want me to sign your book?". It's been a quite a few years since I've been back, but the place looks the same. What's different, I got the impression that some people felt that they didn't have the freedom to have, or hear certain thoughts in certain venues on the facility grounds. A week later, a world famous author who I've met before, did security for, Salman Rushie, that has spoken in Buffalo was attacked in the very venue that I enjoyed a religious service. The irony, his intended conversation was to talk about freedom of speech in the United States of America. Our country, unfortunately, is so polarized presently, that it's almost impossible for people to just listen to one another. I was invited out to dinner recently, place of my choice, I picked Hutch's. I was told we couldn't go there because the owner supported Trump and gun rights advocates. What does that have to do with a good steak? If the person is not preaching hate, nor advocating violence , people have the right to believe in what they want as long as it doesn't infringe on your personal rights. If we can't have a coffee, or medium steak and sensible conversation- agreeing to be disagreeable, nothing but problems lies ahead for our country🇺🇸

Very grateful to have had the opportunity of attending this program. As a student of the program though, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the housing given to us. Prior to writing this review I found a bee walking across the floor of my dorm, despite the windows being sealed shut. This prompted me to question the insulation of the dorms, considering I've found numerous other bugs and spiders. Furthermore, we paid an $800 fee for the air conditioning to be installed this year, of which we were the first year to have this privilege. However, the AC broke three times within the first two weeks of my stay here, and remained broken for days at a time. Good luck doing laundry here! There are 4 washers and 4 dryers for the ballet, art, orchestra, and opera programs. Totally unreasonable. The dryer also doesn't work and I've had to dry my clothes three times just to get them at least damp. (Each cycle costs a dollar btw) So in total I spent $21 alone on laundry which is frustrating as a college student who is trying to save money. Also, the food within the institution and in the dorm dining hall are nothing exceptional. I ended up spending a lot of money on eating out at restaurants because the dining hall made me sick at times. And if you would like to doordash, you can't without looking for your driver for ten minutes because of how strict the gate pass policy is. Highly recommend coming here with a car if you are a student. Was also disappointed with how the musicians were treated during the ballet and opera cycles. We were cramped into a tight makeshift "pit" because the real pit had flooded this winter?? So instead we risked banging our tens of thousands of dollar instruments against each other for the sake of an opera cycle which was thrown together on a whim. Another great feature about this institution is nothing is open after 11 pm! And there is no food to be found after 10 pm. The food itself is ridiculously expensive for what it is. The coffee gazebo is extremely mid and costs at least $9 for a latte that is 3/4 milk and 1/4 espresso. Really liked the instruction and learned a lot here, just really disappointed with how they treat the students. Multiple students had injuries here with how much they treat us like workhorses.

We were pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful surroundings of this quaint village. The grounds are exquisitely maintained. We were at the pavilion to see the Jurassic Park movie with an orchestra. The pavilion is very nice. It’s quite a walk to get to the Pavilion from parking so be prepared. The walk is beautiful. It feels like you’re walking in an old time village from yesteryear. Next time we will take more time to explore. We will definitely visit again.

Great experience if you have the chance to go. It brought back my childhood. There was so much history there. You were able to tough items that other famous actors have touched, like the Studio A door that many famouse actors have passed through and there is a sign that tells you who the actors were.

So much to see! The first part of the museum tells the stories of Lucy and Desi as real people. Their family backgrounds, how they met, how their careers evolved. The second part focuses on their I Love Lucy lives. You learn about technical innovations and Desilu Productions. All done really well. You should allow at least 2.5 hours and maybe a little longer to view everything. One of my favorite things was the reproduction of the living room and kitchen set.

We visited the museum on a Saturday in September. We bought tickets online the night before. You can buy a combo pass for this and the comedy center. We did that and I think it was $43/person for both. I had to select a time online and we arrived before that and did not have to wait. The museum is well done. There is a lot to see and a lot of information about Lucy’s childhood and history, Desi’s childhood and history and their relationship and achievements as a couple. We learned a lot. There is a photo opportunity inside at one of the sets. That was $10 and there is a photographer there to take the photo for you. We don’t do that but saw others doing it. The tour is in two separate buildings but they are close together. Once you go through the one, you just go out on the sidewalk and walk a few steps to the next building. There were no stairs involved. The staff member at check in was friendly. I think we spent about 2 hours here. There is a gift shop in both buildings. We had an enjoyable time.

This has been on our list of places to see for a few years now. My wife and I are both fans of Lucy, and thought a stop on our way to see friends in Buffalo was just the right time, and we are so glad we did. Rememinising about the old "I Love Lucy Show", and learning things about how it came to be and behind the scenes stuff was so much fun. After the actual tour in the building, we went to the cemetery to visit her grave and pay our respects. It was a nice afternoon remembering a television icon, who changes the landscape of broadcasting forever!

Neat place for those who recall I Love Lucy or who love Lucille Ball or Desi Arnaz. Lots of memorabilia and a few videos that add to them. You can see most of the museum in an hour to an hour and a half and including the attached Desilu next door. Street parking is possible when we were there on a Thursday in the Fall and it was free for up to two hours. Some streets have meters though.

We had a quick stop before heading home. Beautiful park! Definitely want to come back and explore when we have more time. There are 6 different beaches entrances, 3 different piers, ferry rides and even a park. Beautiful!

Presque Isle State Park is an absolute gem along Lake Erie! The park is beautifully maintained, with clean restrooms, plenty of walking and biking trails, and several gorgeous beaches to choose from. Beach 6 and Beach 8 are the most popular, offering calm lakeshore waters perfect for families and a relaxing swim. My favorite is Beach 10 — the water there is crystal clear with open waves, giving it a more adventurous and refreshing feel. It’s a fantastic spot to just sit back, enjoy the breeze, and watch the waves roll in. Best of all, entry to the park is completely free! I highly recommend bringing your own food and turning it into a picnic — it’s the perfect way to spend a day by the beach.

Presque Isle was magnificent! I’m sure it’s super packed on the summer, but ours was a fall visit and while it was busy, it was not too bad! Great foot and bike paths. Lots of beach area, the water was great and the lighthouse didn’t disappoint even though it was closed. This was recommended from a friend and I’m so glad we went! Definitely worth the trip if you are within an hour or two drive.

This is seriously one of those places you visit and cznt wait to come too. Super safe, there's always rangers/ law enforcement driving around. Clean, with lots of garbage cans and restroom areas. I grew up around Lake Erie and I still get pleasantly surprised at how clear the water is at these beaches. Great place to grab Primanti Brothers and spend the afternoon.

I suggest everyone go! Beautiful views, nice beaches, clean, and a lot of areas for parking and easy access. Nice drive, beautiful fall colors, and lots of small things to do. Playgrounds, bathrooms, and parking all year. We were able to get out and in easily. Found lots of seashells and my littles had a blast. Take extra clothes, kids don't care if its cold!

It is absolutely beautiful here. I love view. It's nice sand to walk in, we had a great time! Free to go, and you can rent boats. I think they are pet friendly as well. I didn't go anywhere other than the beach area, so I'm not sure about restrooms, picnic areas, or playground.

The water was very shallow at beach 7, only up to hip height on an adult. We considered bringing floats but I was glad we didn't. I don't know for sure but we saw nobody using them &after being told we couldn't pass a pool football in the water I doubt floats would be allowed. Not the lake adventure we're used to &not what we were looking for. Beautiful area &you can see through the water all the way out to the buoy perimeter.

My family's first trip to Waldameer Park in Lake Erie, PA was surprisingly enjoyable. I got discounted tickets from my local township municipal building. The combo ticket for the water and amusement park was just $42. I was a bit let down that the park operates entirely cashless. When I got there, there was plenty of parking available. I have to admit, I wasn't too confident in the bag check-in process for entering the water park. It seemed like visitors' bags weren't checked thoroughly because I spotted someone in the wave pool area casually sipping from a slightly hidden glass mini bottle of vodka while lounging on a chair. I went on a less busy weekday, so the lines for slides and rides were minimal. The prices at the concession stands were quite reasonable! The park was well-kept, but the yellow jacket problem was pretty intense! The concession stand in the water park had only 2 registers open, even though it could handle a lot more customers to avoid long lines during the midday rush. All in all, the park is really nice and has a little something for everyone!

Waldameer has always been our favorite park. Family friendly, always clean and rides are well maintained. This Family owned park is a one of a kind experience. Lots of newer rides, plus some nostalgic favorites! I absolutely adore Waldameer🥰

Great park enjoyed a Sunday with family and all the grandchildren. We did water park and rides then back to water park and more rides. Food was good and park was clean. It was very busy but was a hot day. We had a good day. Would come again.

If you get the chance, GO! Bring your own cooler in, $40 for an adult person , free parking. We had a great time even though it was 95 degrees 💕 There's a white sand beach on Lake Erie and a casino as well

Great amusement park! Lines weren't long even on a beautiful Sunday in the summer. Fun assortment of rides, dog (and cat!) friendly with dog water fountains. Every vendor we asked for ice to put in our dog's water bowl were so kind and friendly. A good time for all ages!

We had a fantastic family day at Waldameer, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and family-friendly amusement park that doesn’t feel like a chaotic mega-resort. We didn’t do the water park this time around, just stuck to the dry rides, and it was more than enough for a full day of fun. Our kids (ranging in age from toddler to tween) all had a blast. The ride selection is surprisingly diverse for a smaller park—plenty of options for younger kids, some decent thrills for the older ones, and even a few rides we could all enjoy together. The park feels nostalgic in the best way—clean, safe, and not overly commercialized. You can actually relax and enjoy yourself without being bombarded by ads and upcharges at every turn. One of the things we appreciated most was how accessible and accommodating the park was for our whole crew. Grandma came along with us but didn’t plan on riding anything. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that non-riders don’t need to pay admission, which is a huge plus. She got to walk around with us, take pictures, enjoy the scenery, and even sneak in some snacks here and there—all without feeling like she was paying just to be a spectator. That’s something most theme parks wouldn’t allow, and it made a big difference for us. The park is really well laid out, with plenty of shade, benches, and places to rest—great for grandparents or anyone who needs a break from the sun. Lines were reasonable, staff were friendly, and it was easy to navigate with our group. We didn’t eat much at the park, but there were plenty of food stands around with fair prices (again, a nice change from most parks). And being able to bring your own food or leave and come back with your hand stamp is a huge bonus for families trying to stick to a budget. Overall, Waldameer is the kind of place that feels like it was designed with families in mind. It’s charming without trying too hard, affordable without cutting corners, and just an all-around great day for kids and adults alike. We’ll absolutely be back—and maybe next time we’ll try out the water park too!

This is an great park for younger kids or individuals who enjoy smaller rides. The price is great for the combo ticket and the waterpark was really enjoyable for adults and kids alike. The park is small but the layout is confusing. I noticed that the ride operators and lifeguards were not fully attentive. The wait time for rides can be super long even if the line doesn’t look that long. The employees are slow to get everyone on and off the rides. It is cool that you can enter the park without a ticket and even choose to pay per ride. We got food at the food stand near the wave pool and the wait was 30 minutes long even though there were only 5 people in front of me. The flow was awful but the food was decent. We encountered a few rude guests but nothing too major. I would probably return but I preferred the waterpark over the normal park.

The entire staff is beyond exceptional, absolutely five stars.When it comes to the staff. We have stayed here before and we're seeing all the little improvements that they keep doing to keep this place fresh and relevant. The rooms are gorgeous and very clean. We are already planning our next.Trip here. We enjoyed many of the amenities, especially the indoor outdoor hot tug, the pool, the fitness room, the golf course. We came off-season. So many attractions are only available on the weekend. Like the spa, the adventure line.

What a fantastic place this is. It’s a time capsule from days that are unfortunately long gone. The property is aged but well kept. The food at Bistro 210 was really great (we had the brisket reuben), and the bar has great atmosphere, and really cool layout. It is a beautiful property tucked away in the farmlands. Plenty for everyone to do. My wife and I were there for an overnight. We ended up staying and walking around the property for a few hours after. Such a cool vibe. We live 5 hours away in Michigan, and we will be back for a long week for sure. We had a great stay.

There are a lot of good things about Peek'n Peek. Then there are things that are aggravating. The aggravating things? The $30 resort fee. It is a rip off. We were asked if we were going to use the pool and amenities. We were not. The rooms are clean but extremely dated. The toilet is too close to the floor. The carpeting is clean but worn. I absolutely hate carpeting in hotel rooms. The good things? The staff is fantastic. Very polite and professional. The staff in the bar/restaurant are excellent. The food is outstanding. I just love the bar area. Very comfortable seating and good drinks. We were there for the, "Wrust party ever." It was an Octoberfest type party with beer samples, a lot of beer samples. Very fun. The large German band was outstanding. Just excellent. One huge problem? Not enough seating. We had to eat standing. There was enough seating for perhaps 30% of the people attending. That was a big drawback. It would have been nice if they had Octoberfest style tents in the back. I wasn't the only one complaining about it.

My daughter and I stayed for 2 nights for a mini spa vacation before going back to school. The Inn, spa and Adventure Park were understaffed - but they let us know in advance and modified our reservations with no added cost. We were not able to get pedicures so we brought all of the stuff with us to do them ourselves. We did a session in the salt therapy room, purchased some therapeutic bath salts for the jet tub in our room, ordered room service which was super fast and delicious and spent a spa evening in our room. The dry cranch chicken wings were amazing (we're from Buffalo NY and we are chicken wing fanatics)- very crispy, juicy and salty which is what we like. We ordered garlic butter on the side for the wings just to try too, and I put a little on the the brisket mac and cheese (which was already delicious) but I did really like the kick of flavor it added. The pool area(s) are awesome. The fitness center is a little outdated but far, far nicer with more equipment than most inns and hotels. The Adventure park was fun as well. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and very nice.

I attended an event at the Peak last Saturday. I must say that it was one of the best events I have attended this year! They did a fantastic job with the theme and festivities. I can't wait to attend next year's Wurst Party Ever! Special thanks to the staff members Victoria H, Brittany C, Frankie, and Haille for the professional services during our stay!

Did not stay over but went for Fall Fest. Omg how gorgeous it is there! The food at the festival was delicious, great band was playing, many wonderful vendors. Just a beautiful place to visit. And I rode the ski lift. Great views!!

Stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding. This comprises of doing the all the offered activities such as put put, rope courses etc etc. as well as dining in at the Bistro. We chose this facility as we have been a solid Patreon of the Ski slopes during the winter season for many years as well as playing many 18 holes at the Upper Course during the golfing season. However, Both my wife and I were very disappointed with the quality of the Presidential Suite (Tiffany Suite) during our stay to commemorate our wedding. The shower fixture needs major deep cleaning from all the calcium build up and the same goes to the shower glas enclosure. The most disappointing part is the jacuzzi which was the main reason we went for this particular suite. As soon as we turned on the jets, orange scum started coming out and floats to the top. We tried using towels to clean it up but ended up not being able to utilize the jacuzzi out of disgust. And here is the main kicker, we found a MUSHROOM 🍄 growing out of the grout line. I must not be alone when i say that we all much prefer a cherry on top... Hold the mushroom... We had notify the issue and was told a manager had been notified and they will get back to us the next day. Well, we waited until check out time and was not approached nor reached out by anyone. Very disappointed considering it cost almost $700 just for the room during our stay.

We had a wonderful experience. Even with different schools visiting the lines went quick. Everything was extremely clean. The only thing that I would say is that certain staff would let my daughter go down the sides by herself, as she is 48 in tall. However some staff when they switched over would not let her go without an adult. Other than that, there was so much to do. Not only is there a water park, but there's also an arcade. And there are lots of food courts and Quaker steak is attached to it. Play kids also love looking out over the balcony at the boogie board place and the wave pool. And they had so much fun at the boogie boards, and the instructors were so sweet. If they fell off too soon, the instructors would let them have another turn.

We had a great experience. A few things to keep in mind when visiting, take your own towels. It is a Cashless resort as well. Not a ton to do for your older kids/adults to do but still able to have some fun. The staircase for the water slides is a tight squeeze with inner tubes that all use the same stair case with 3 lines. All in all had a lovely experience, not enough lifeguards for all the areas. Definitely look for the best deals when going to enjoy the most for the least!

Found an amazing deal online! Included 4 passes for 2 days and an overnight stay! Staff was super friendly, facilities all very clean, kept the floors in bathrooms dry, and lots of places to sit. No long waits for slides and great kid area. Lifeguards watch and do their jobs. Arcade is huge. Only thing is food prices are a little steep.

Had a great time at Splash Lagoon with the family! It’s a classic indoor water park in Erie and perfect for kids and family members of all ages. Plenty of fun attractions, clean facilities, and a great way to spend the day together. Highly recommend for a family outing

Hotel GM offered only 5,000 points - no cleaning, no apology. Request: 1. Immediate health inspection 2. Force deep-clean or temporary shutdown 3. Public report so other families are warned

SENSORY DAY 2025 (Friday May 16th) We took advantage of sensory day at Splash Lagoon. They had a special rate for an overnight stay. We were able to stay overnight and 4 passes to the water park, plus we bought an extra pass because we are a family of 5. Check in day you can arrive as early at noon for the water park and 4pm for your hotel. Check.out day the Waterpark opens at 11am for hotel guests only and noon for everyone else, you are welcome to stay all day. Destiny, at the Wyndham front desk, was so professional and efficient. We got our wristbands and headed over to the Waterpark. We found the Waterpark to be so clean, the staff was plentiful and accommodating. This place is very well run. There are alot of lifeguards and they are very focused on the water and safety of the guests, but not rigid. The food at the café was about $12 per meal, burgers-pizza-hot dogs-fries-chicken tenders-ice cream. There is so much seating you will not have a problem finding a seat. Tables and chairs as well as pool chairs by the wave pool. There are bathrooms located throughout the park, changing areas, family changing as well. There are lockers to rent at a kiosk, very easy and affordable. **you do need your own towels, they do not provide them at this location ** The hotel was pretty nice for what we paid. Our room was on the 5th floor. We had 2 queen/full beds as well as a pull out. Plenty of pillows and towels. There is a jacuzzi tub that was big enough for me, my 8yo and 5yo to soak in together. We had a coffee table, and eating table, a desk, a swivel tv, a mini fridge and freezer, microwave and a small bar area with a coffee pot. Breakfast was your usual free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle makers, juice, fruit, breads. Lots of coffee. There was a ton of room to eat in the breakfast bar. The staff there were hustling and getting everything cleaned up as guests turned over. Overall, this was a great stay.

Took our kids there as a weekend getaway and they absolutely loved it! They are talking about making reservations again they had so much fun. Their favorite thing to do was the surf simulator, the staff there Saturday was great with kids encouraged them to do their best followed by high fives and the urge to try again! All staff seemed friendly, restrooms and changing rooms were very well maintained and clean, floors we're kept as dry as possible to prevent fall hazards. We will definitely be going again

Im not sure where to begin with all of the positive things about this amusement park honestly! It is very very clean! And I dont mean like your basic clean, I mean that there was not a SINGLE piece of garbage laying ANYWHERE the entire park. So, for the description of it, its not very large in comparison to other amusement parks. Its more like an extravagant carnival that stops through your town once a year. But not in a negative way by ANY means! Its wonderful! There are lots of games to play and win prizes, there are many many rides that are super exciting, and there is one roller coaster. They are all super fun and the wait time is minimal! I went during the end of the year so unfortunately for me the water park was closed 😭 i can't wait to go next year and see how that is!!!! They even have dippen dots here!!!🤤 there are many different types of food to choose from. There is a gift shop full of neat things as well! I easily spent 300 dollars in there. No regrets. There is also a section full of rides for smaller kids! There are in fact hight restrictions in that section tho! You CAN be too tall to ride them. But that is perfectly fine, let the little ones have something for themselves, you know? Honestly, all in all I give it a 10 out of 10. Its clean, fun, has MANY things to experience, oh and I forgot to mention that its not extremely expensive either!! We brought 6 people and it cost 30 dollars to get in because they were having a sale/deal. It was a score 😊 I have ADHD so its difficult for me to stay on point. Oh well. I think I mentioned everything! Im absolutely going again next year 😊

Del Grosso's was fun! We particularly enjoyed the wave pool and the lazy river. The water park has more for bigger kids than the regular park, in my opinion. It was great that there were next to no lines for the rides in the non water side. My child really enjoyed the Crazy Mouse. Recommend for a relaxing family outing.

Very clean, good amount of lifeguards. Wheel chair access. More kid friendly! Make sure you put your walking shoes on! No googles on slides either I didnt read that any where online but thats okay you stay on the tubs for the most part.

It's 38.00 for a all day ride and slide pass however between both parks there is not a lot to do. They dont have enough rides we had a hard time spending 5 hours there. We drove from Ohio and was a little disappointed. Now they do have a nice kitty land for littles but for older kids you have maybe 5 good rides out of the i think 8 rides. They seemed to be on top of their ride safety kicking ppl off rides that can't follow directions and would cause a potential accident. The park isn't bad but definitely wouldn't make the trip for 38.00 a person. If they had more rides for older kids absolutely! For what they have to offer their all day ride and slide passes should be 20.00 bucks because not many people could spend a whole day there with the same 8 rides same 3 water slides. They have a kids pool play area, a lazy river, and a wave pool and we maxed out a 5 hours that was 3 adults and a small child.

Took the grandkids, we all had a blast! We did rides on the amusement side first, then lunch & the Waterpark in the afternoon. They especially loved the wave pool. I love the lazy river. The staff is so amazing & friendly.. We're definitely doing it again next summer! At least twice!

Harvestfest is my favorite. The park is close to us and we often go throughout the summer... I don't love that they went cashless as I'd prefer to just give my kids $20 and call it a day.. so imagine my happiness when this sign was at the entrance last weekend.. CASH ONLY!

We decided to take a daytrip to the park which had been on our bucket list for awhile. It's a nice, small park with what I would call some "mini" rides, definitely geared more towards kids. We liked the fact that there was free admission if you were not riding since I cannot do rides that spin. The closest thing to a roller coaster is the wild mouse type ride. We were excited to try all of the food since we heard some of it was amazing. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The pizza was just ok, did not care for the potato salad, the pasta was overcooked and I'm guessing they use their jar sauce and the philly cheese steak barely had any cheese whiz on it. I will say, though, the food prices were very reasonable. It was to chilly to go to the water park which looked really fun. Tons of things to do there.

So freaking cool! We stumbled on Lincoln Caverns during a road trip and it ended up being one of the highlights of the trip. We were the only ones on the tour, which made it even better. The caverns are clean, well-maintained, and just fascinating to explore. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and even added some funny anecdotes along the way. Definitely worth a visit!

Awesome Experience !! Our guide , Matt, did Lincoln Caverns a great service in his representation for them. Very knowledgeable and informative. From the history of Lincoln Caverns down to it's many nuances of the different structures we were seeing. Answered all of our questions and yet kept the pace of the tour moving. Had a nice time touring the caverns. Our guide was Sylvia, she did an outstanding job and was very knowledgeable about the caverns and the formations. There is a nice gift shop and they have snack bar and restrooms. All of the employees seemed very pleasant. I will definitely recommend this place to visit if you are in the area. There are actually two caves to visit. Stop in, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

The tours move along quickly and wait times are short. We'll kept place clean and fun for the family. We traveled from Ohio to see it. Was not as big as I expected but still beautiful and amazing. The girls had fun and so did my boy.

Great little spot! We liked that there were two caverns to explore. Our guide, Jon, was very knowledgeable and interactive. He even got our kids involved. Great gift shop too! We'll be back I'm sure.

Made multiple trips back and forth from Delaware to Ohio, finally stopped and took a tour. FANTASTIC! Jen led the workshops beautifully. Soaked up the information and then took to the caves! Sadly, my wife and I can't recall our tour guides name (tall lanky kid with longer hair). He was absolutely wonderful and passionate about what he does and very informative. The trip sparked interest in seeing more. Wonderful gift shop too! Little bit of everything for everyone.

Worth your time! Our guide was outstanding. This is a fun cavern (there are actually 2) the history of how it was found and water levels over time are interesting! If it has been raining, a light rain jacket and shoes that can get wet would make you more comfortable. But not a big deal without either :) edited review to add that the gift shop is FULL of nicely labeled gems and so much more!

Very interesting place to visit. The museum was put together beautifully. The area was well maintained and had plenty of parking for cars and large vehicles. Be ready to walk up some steps to the top (118 exactly), but we'll worth it. There is a tram but isn't working at this time. They did offer a discount due to the tram not operating. If in the Altoona area , worth the look, especially when a train comes through.....

What a great place for a railfan - or engineere - to visit. Only had an hour but still saw four trains trundle by. The view from the observation area of the reservoir is spectacular. Will be back when we can spend the day. Only drawback was the funicular was not in operation this trip, so 194 steps up it was!

Informative museum and great views of Horseshoe Curve. 4 stars was only because the tram was inoperable and 194 stair steps could be daunting; otherwise a 5 star experience. We saw an Amtrak passenger train, 2 freight trains (different directions), and a 4 engine helper engine group on a beautiful sunny Friday morning.

Really cool place to visit, especially if a train comes along. We were lucky enough to see two trains at once, each going in different directions. The horseshoe curve means you can see the beginning and the end of the train, I believe about a mile long. And the trains blow their horn as they go by. There's also a nice little museum with the history of the area and the train tracks, and a gift shop. There are stairs to climb, but it wasn't difficult. There is a little tram with boxcars that goes up the hill but it was not operating when we were there.

Its really not that great of a paid experience! They should really use the money they make to cut the tree line down so you can actually see the the entire curve and fix the grounds up. Alot of the signs about the history need to be fixed. The museum was nice but thats about it. You can only see a small part of the curve because its blocked by trees and vegetation. So not worth the money. Also- the incline plane was shut down, which we did get a 20% discount for it not working but still 🙄 Climbing stairs to see 1/4 of the curve should be a free experience. Not worth almost $50 for a family of four. I mentioned this to the worker and she said the railroad company owns the land on the opposite sides of the curve and they are responsible for cutting that down and it hasn't been done in over 5 years. Still on grounds the trees could be trimmed. Save your money!

The machine that takes you up to see the train, was broke. And I can't walk up 200 steps to see it. They should probably put that on the website. And since I wasn't a paying customer, I couldn't use the restroom. And we were about 2 hrs from home. So I sat in the car and my husband went up. The pics were from down below. I don't think it's a big of deal then they make up on the website

Pretty cool place to stop. The museum is interesting abd it gives some history about the railroad. There is a nice view from the top of the stairs. It is a good place to watch trains.

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.

Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.

The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!

This is a beautiful park. It's clean and the staff were all friendly. Even the fans were kind and helpful. The surrounding area is nice and felt safe both before and after the game. There are a lot of great eateries and attractions around the stadium. The whole package makes for a great experience.

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

I’ve been to several large botanical gardens, but the Phipps absolutely blew me away! My dad and I spent several hours walking around and I left feeling inspired and having learned a lot. This is an absolute must-visit, even if you’re only in Pittsburgh for a day or two.

What a wonderful experience! We've been here many times through the years and its always enjoyable. The Fall flower show was especially beautiful, and a treat to stroll from one area to another. I look forward to the next time here. We did learn if you go first thing in the morning (9:30), parking is readily available.

The theme for the Phipps Conservatory's 2023 Winter Flower Show and Light Garden was: Garden Railroad: The miniature train ride was titled "Pennsylvania Through the Four Seasons." It was one of my most enjoyable rides, a reminder of winter 2023, and I'm looking forward to what the theme will be for winter 2025. It's a perfect place to share with family and friends, and if you want to enjoy a solo ride to reconnect with yourself, it's also a great place.

Historic, beautiful and uncommon would be a few words to describe this local gem. The staff is also notably friendly , knowledgeable and courteous. The views from the top are stunning. There are also a nice gift shop and evening restaurant at the summit.

Riding the plane is rather inexpensive. They run roughly every 15 minutes, although I wish hours of operation started earlier. Mountain bike trails are easily accessed from the top, ride bikes down and ride the plane back up. The bottom, however, requires you to carry your bike up through a very narrow passage and stairwell. If you are running bars over 700s, it's very tight, and difficult for children. I had to carry my bike up, then go back and carry my sons bike up. The trails are pretty technical and I wouldn't advise a novice, especially a novice child, ride them. The trails require ability to control your descent and handle tight turns. The lower section of trail is mich easier for a beginner.

Very cool experience with great views of the town below. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Finding the right place to park at the bottom is a bit of a challenge but certainly worth taking the time to do.

Great history behind the incline plane.

Don't fear it, it's really not a bad ride! Although this incline is steeper than the ones in Pittsburgh, it's a much smoother ride. I generally have weak knees if I'm even three stories high somewhere, but I was stepping out of my comfort zone to ride it and it wasn't bad at all! It was a very smooth ride and it even still transports vehicles both ways. I wish we'd have started at the bottom and put the car on to get to the top. The platform outside is a great view and from inside the gift shop you can see the mechanics of it (as pictured here).

This place is awesome and a must see, worth a day trip (but make sure it's during the open season). I live in Pittsburgh, a few blocks from the Duquesne Incline, which I ride often, and this one in Johnstown is a gem! It was closed when I visited and I absolutely will return when it's open. So, a little known day trip you can take, from Pittsburgh to Altoona, will allow you to see 5 inclines, 4 of which you can ride. The Duquesne and Monongahela inclines in Pittsburgh, Johnstown inclined plane, Allegheny Portage Railroad, then the mini incline at the Altoona Curve. Enjoy 😉.

The inclined plane is under construction so you currently can't ride it or get to the viewing balcony. I think you can possibly go into the restaurant at 4pm and after for a view of Johnstown.

Idlewild is an awesome park for families with young kids. The rides are geared towards children with several allowing toddlers to ride with an adult. It is a much better value for young families than parks like Hershey or Kings Dominion who have very small young kids section. The water park is awesome too! We spent half the day at just the Waterpark. Also, buy your tickets online in advance. The tickets at the gate are much more expensive!

My children and their spouses and my 6 grandchildren had a great time from opening to closing! We had so much fun last year that we made it part of our annual family vacation. Looking forward to next summer already! Very clean , well maintained park , including Soak Zone.

Went for our daughters early birthday 🎈🎂 present from her grandparents and she had a blast. The park is great for small kids!! Definitely recommend a wagon!!

Long lines for food (1 person working bbq shack and 1 hr wait, no trays, no silverware), rides closed due to staff shortage, maintenance, and removed (slides)... I used to love this place... going downhill fast... lack of maintenance and appearance. If due to lack of help, reduce ticket price or close when little help so people dont have to have a bad experience. We paid full price for 1/2 the experience. Maybe the owners and senior leaders should come thru when short staffed and see how they like the treatment. They wont... they want their full ticket price collected no matter the experience for the public. Was like this last year too... figured they fixed it up since.... Edit as the day goes on.. after the long wait, my BBQ sandwich was cold, as was mac n cheese and half ripe watermelon. Son bought the $25 unlimited refill souvenir cup only to find out it has a QR code and only gives a LIMITED # of refills. Caramel apple not available, as "apples aren't ripe yet".

I will start with what really ticked me off…. We were in the lazy river and just kept going around cause it was peaceful. My handicapped daughter cannot do much so we stayed. While we’re in there and it’s hot out 88 degrees they kicked everyone out and said they were closing it for about a half hour so everyone could take breaks. You don’t close a water attraction when there aren’t many for breaks, you swap out workers for breaks. It was closed for over an hour. I’ve never seen anything like that and I’ve been to many parks. So we had to go to the pirate play area and the worker complained at me for going down the little water slide with my daughter who doesn’t walk. I’m like she doesn’t walk he’s like I understand I’m like no you don’t. Next the only bathroom with a big changing table smelled like pee, it was all over the floor. I didn’t see anyone clean the bathrooms at all. The food was so expensive. I’m from Eastern PA and you guys are more expensive than them. Also closing at 7 is really early. Sesame place stays open later and that’s geared towards little kids. We would’ve went to Kennywood, but it was too hot. I love the big changing table. I love how you just check in with your tickets when you park. I love how the parking is right there. Some of the workers were really nice. The wait times for rides were next to nothing which was nice, but it was a Monday.

We have season passes and have been several times this year have had a great time the only thing I would ask you to change is when people are filling their cups can you please make sure there is ice there is never ice because the soda machines do not make ice someone has to fill it and it is always empty but other than that we have had the best time with our 5 grandkids there we will continue to come back

We love Idlewild! It is such a great park, and we have made so many fun memories there! For our family, the season passes; they are so worth it! You can go as often as you want in the summer and fall with most of the passes. Their payment plan system they have is great and can make it more affordable for families. Another little thing I wanted to mention. Sometimes we have people in our group that need a wheelchair, and I noticed this year they are offering mobility scooter rentals now, which is great!

Big thanks to those people who built this memorial place for those innocent victims.. I found myself so emotional and tears rolling down my eyes at the visitor center, learning more of what happened, listening to the audio recordings, seeing those found debris, and pictures of the victims and their information on that one unforgettable day.. They are the bravest heroes of the USA along with the others who helped 9/11 survivors... Don't ever forget them! 40 passengers and UA crew members + 1 unborn baby of the Flight 93. I honor them and may they rest in peace.. The Tower of Voices has a very beautiful structure. It wasn't windy that day, but I heard about 3 small chimes and it made me really happy and emotional. You can just even feel their presence there. Also a nice place to reflect and pray for them.. Thank you also to the 2 park staff who had a small talk with some people explaining more of what happened. They are very knowledgeable and nice. We also bought some souvenirs to help the park as well. Whenever you get the chance, please visit this memorial.

We were humbled by the care and attention to details that went into creating this monument to those to gave their lives to save others. This solemn graveyard speaks for those who met their fate on the clear September morning in the choice of materials and their arrangement and the surrounding gardens make for a peaceful respite. It was well worth the drive and an unforgettable experience.

An actual memorial that commemorates this dark time. It’s heavy but beautiful and heart wrenching. Please remember this is a place where our brave patriots lost their lives. This is hallowed ground and needs to be paid proper respect. Let’s Roll is forever etched in my heart.

Great memorial. Class of teenagers on school field trip while we were there. The teacher had them break up in groups and select a name off the memorial wall. They then had to look them up and tell the others about that person. Loved that the teacher made them see the names as real people. Cuddos to him! Have to admit we kind of followed them around. Learned things I didn't know.

Really enjoy visiting this memorial. They did an absolutely amazing job and made it non commercialized. We enjoyed every part of the exhibits. My only complaint is the fact that the sidewalks appear to be significantly damaged from snow removal. The wind chimes you mostly hear the clanking from the metal and not the tones. Will visit again.

Visited the Flight 93 National Memorial on a Wednesday in October—turns out the only thing open during a government shutdown is the wind! 🥶💨🧊 We braved the freezing temps and wind tunnel conditions to pay our respects at this powerful place. Couldn’t go inside the Visitor Center (thanks, shutdown 🙃🚪🔒), but we still saw the Tower of Voices (those wind chimes were working overtime! 🎶🌬️), the Wall of Names—each one a reminder of bravery and sacrifice 🕊️🙏—and the impact site marked by a giant boulder 🪨. Bonus: some local deer were hanging out, probably judging our choice of outerwear. 🦌🦌🧥 Shutdown or not, it was a moving experience. If you go, bring layers and your best windproof hat! 🧣🧤🧢 #Flight93 #Shanksville #WindyWithAChanceOfDeer

An amazing place to visit then pay your respects. I've never left for the dry eye. Take time to take in this amazing place couple things to keep in mind. If and when the president is coming to visit this location, the security is outstanding. Which means that you cannot get down to the lower section and the walk is locked. And normally there in the morning portion. So if you go around lunch time the parking is easier and you can take in everything without having a security issue. But if you are there when he is there, the tribute to the families is absolutely beautiful. Don't look at this as a vacation spot, or place to check off a bucket list. Look at this a place to thank God for the gifts that you have, the family is that you love that still with us. Antique pay respect to those who did lose their loved ones.

I cannot recommend this winery enough. The garden is beautiful, the staff are so welcoming and knowledgeable, and the wine of course is flavorful and diverse. I took the Gold tour with Sean and she was so flexible and personable. I thought the tour was well worth the price. Donna at the checkout was also amazing and super helpful. Thank you all for a lovely afternoon. We are already planning our next visit!

Enjoyed a lovely day at the Adams County Winery! The location stunning and well set up for a day outing. Their butterfly gardens surround a Pavillion and a lawn area with tables and umbrella. A stage is available for live music which we had on this visit. Today we enjoyed The Neil & Shannon trio who provided upbeat contemporary music spanning decades. Only drawback we had on our visit was the set up for food and wine. Walking a distance from the entertainment area you go to the store. All customers are asked to wait in line to purchase store products, glasses of wine, flights, tasting wines and Pizza or pretzel orders. My wait in line was for a pizza. I waited 10- 15 minutes in line to go to a register to pay for my pizza. Once I payed for the pizza, I was to go outside on the patio and show my receipt. I showed my receipt and the service person wrote another receipt with my order and a number on it and handed me a buzzer. 25 minutes later I got the pizza. Management really needs to get a POS system and when crowded (as it was when I was in line) open a register to take only food orders. Waiting on for a register which is occupied by wine buyers who want a tasting or who want to talk about wine, was frustrating when all you want to do is put in a pizza order (which you already know is going to take a while to make). If they streamlined this ordering system they would cut down on the wait time. The line would move faster and order would be placed with the kitchen at payment. They way it is now is very inefficient. Regardless of this, the pizza was delicious and although I missed 30 minutes of the music (which is why I came), I had a very good time. I took the pictures of the gardens while I waited for my pizza. I highly recommend this venue. Wine is good too.

Gorgeous location and great wine! Their Black Magic dessert wine is one of my all time favorites. Whenever I’m in the area I make sure to stock up on a few bottles for special occasions. My wife and I adore getting their wine flights to try new flavors.

We went and did a wine tour/tasting over the weekend. It was busy with people enjoying the pizza & wine flights. The tour was informative and Sean had a great personality. You got to choose 6 wines to taste. They were very good and left with a memorable wine glass. Take a tour/tasting and enjoy the afternoon on their patio.

Man them ladies in the bistro sure know how to create taste bud magic while serving it all up with a smile. Come grab yourself a pizza for yourself and don’t forget a cold bottle of 3 Ships To The Wind to pair it up!

Sean and Breanna were a delight to plan with and every time I came in to check on something all the employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. I loved that they wanted to sneak a peak of how we had decorated Rusty’s! Thank you all, it was the perfect space for our event.

Parking was fairly easy with plenty of parking spots(if you selected a your time online and just show up for your scheduled time) if not parking can be much harder. Once you arrive you check in at the gate and then the pavilion at the desk in the middle and they will get you in the next tour regardless of scheduled time. The type was about an hour and it feels very scripted to stay on time. But you have time to go through parts of the house and all of the ground on your own. We found the experience to be very good and run very smoothly. The audio devices were good so you could always hear your guide even if you couldn't see them. Give this review a like 👍❤️ now please. There is a building about the Kaufman's, if you don't know then go to that exhibit before or after your tour. There is is a gift shop with lots of stuff for your flw fix. Pro tip: Definitely but tickets online in advance for the best experience 💯

Book tickets ahead of time. Parking is easy, but you’ll need to wait for your scheduled entry. Restroom is available as well. It’s an easy walk around the site. I’ve always admired Frank Lloyd Wright’s work—Fallingwater is beautiful and unique, though it didn’t move me as much as some of his nearby designs. Still, worth visiting at least once for its remarkable setting and design.

Would have been 5 stars, but a third of the outdoor balconies are under renovation (new stucco and paint), detracting from FLW's elegant design. Didn't expect to need reservations during the fall shoulder season, but when we arrived at the gate we were told all tours were booked for the day! $20 per person to walk the grounds and the exterior of the buildings (there are two!) was well worth it, even though we didn't get to go inside.

Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius! I was fortunate enough to tour this on a ninth grade field trip; decades later privileged to revisit this architectural marvel. The harmony between nature and home, water actually runs through the home, with a pool, plunge pool, stairs that descend into the stream and of course, falling water. Step back in time to see how the ultra wealthy Kaufmann’s spent weekends or holidays outside of Pittsburgh. Original furnishings, appliances and priceless art await you as if you stepped back in time. The in-depth tour was exceptional; Ron C. and all the staff are rightfully passionate about the preservation and sharing of this one of a kind masterpiece! Recommend making reservations for tours well in advance. There is free dedicated parking. Please note the tours are not ADA friendly with uneven ground and narrow rock stairs.

So spectacular to see one of the most iconic homes ever built in person, again - the first time I was here was in June of 2020 and the health restrictions kept us from touring the inside, so this fall season view and inside tour of the magical Fallingwater masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright was all I'd hoped for and more! Frank's a family favorite, and I've toured many homes and displays of his work in NY, IL, VA, PA, OR, CA and AZ, but this one takes you to another place and time more distinctly. Hearing the little extra details of the family, their style, the furniture, the history from its construction to its endowment, and the maintenance of such a monstrous endeavor plus current renovations were all fascinating! The only thing that could possibly make it better was if it was a Bed & Breakfast and you could have your morning coffee with Frank and the owners themselves. To live in a FLW house must truly be a magical existence. I booked a tour, and recommend doing so in advance.

Stopped here while in the area. House and grounds tours were sold out so all we could do was the $20 property pass. It was well worth it. It was a beautiful day and we were able to follow the well marked paths, look in the windows and even walk on all the patios and porches of the home and carriage/guest house. The walk to the lookout is worth it as well. If you have any interest in FLW, or architecture, this is not to be missed.

We had a wonderful tour guide that provided information on this house & the that lived & vacation there. The house is amazing everything is be conserved to protect it for the future. The grounds were beautiful. Lots of trails to walk & explore. We tried but the rain wouldn’t cooperate. The have a nice cafe with drinks, bake goods & sandwiches.

This was an amazing experience for my wife and I. Plenty of visitors and lots of chances for we Louisiana natives to vist locals, and visitors from all over. Weather was really nice, colors have started, the river was awsome. The buckwheat festival was on going. We also ran across a young lady getting married in the middle of the river. She had on white mech wedding train that was as cute as it could be. Icecream, pizza, and sandwiches what more could you ask for. Visited a 84 yr young woman with a history from out of a Movie storyline.

It's one of best state parks I have visited. It has something for everybody to enjoy. I went on a weekday so it was easier to find parking spots. I love the cucumber falls, viewing rock, natural slides and ferncliff area. I unfortunately didn't have time to try water rafting and would definitely try it next time.

I visited Cucumber Falls and had a little adventure crossing the creek to get as close as possible to the falls. It had just rained, so the ground was pretty muddy and slippery—which definitely made things more exciting! The waterfall itself isn’t huge or particularly unique, but the experience was still really fun. The natural beauty of the area and the small challenge of getting to the best viewpoint made it a memorable stop. A great little adventure if you enjoy the outdoors!

Pretty. Me and my dog did Ferncliff Peninsula trails. Trails nicely maintained. I should have taken a pic of trail info at beginning of trail. I did make a wrong turn and ended up taking a little more hilly, longer walk, and rocky trail. It was not too busy when I started about 10 am but by time I got back to parking lot lots people around. Plus parking lot full. Still fun and definitely will go back. Penny gives it 5 paws!

We take a yearly visit. Beautiful. We normally come to see the foliage. There's so much to do we never have enough time. Dont forget to sit. Relax, and see what God blessed us with while your here.

A really beautiful park that we kind of stumbled on to. It has a great visitors center abd beautiful overlooks for anyone who can't hike. The town is small but cute.

This was just a quick drive thru on our way to falling water. Visited the natural slides and the walk along the river by the visitors center. Apparently cucumber falls was closed for some reason. The parking lot entrance was cordoned off.
