We love it here Went today after not going for a few years. Caught myself saying to my daughter who was 2 when we first went… why did we wait so long to come again (now 9) We saw SO many birds. 2 bird nests I have never seen before. Hand fed red winged black birds and chickadees with the provided seed $2 a bag. DO NOT BRING your own seed or food for birds. Gift shop is adorable. Picked up some bird colouring books and paint by numbers on our way out. Make a day of it and hit up Emma Leah farms and westham island herb farm on your way home. We will be back soon for some birding !!!! Thanks

Very cool place for bird lovers. Might be hot walking in the sun so recommend bringing umbrellas or hats. Requires parking reservation for the 2 hour stay, on their website. Saw beautiful herons and little birds are likely to feed off seeds from hands! Very well kept sanctuary considering how many birds live there.

Absolutely love this Sanctuary. There are cranes, ducks, grease, and tons of other birds. A lot of birds here are very friendly and will eat out of your hand. Nice trial walks. $8 per person and I am usually there for 2-3 hours!

Fantastic spot to visit if you have access to a car, absolute gem of a bird sanctuary with knowledgeable staff and community. Worthwhile way to spend an afternoon in the late summer and I can only imagine how incredible it would be to visit in the Spring!

Such a peaceful spot! We saw lots of ducks and even a few sandhill cranes wandering around. Feeding the ducks was a fun highlight. The trails are easy and perfect for a relaxing stroll. Great way to unwind and enjoy nature. Can’t wait for fall/winter time when the vegetation not so dense

I think this was good value for the money. It's just a bit out of the way to access. I'm not a bird watcher, but there were certainly plenty to see. They may be a bit too accustomed to humans though lol. The trails are well maintained and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the view or watch the birds along the way. There is a tower and several blinds along the way. There are picnic tables and washrooms near the parking. It took us about 2 hours to circumnavigate the area and also wander through the middle a bit. There is plenty of parking, although you do need a reservation. They don't kick you out after your 2 hour block - I think it's just an arrival window - and they are strict on not letting you in before that time starts. We went during summer and we may return again during another season to see different birds.

We had a great experience at the bird park. Plenty of birds to view. Make sure you carry pumpkin seeds to feed birds - it's a great experience. Also make sure to carry binoculars, a bag pack, lots of water/snacks and be prepared for a beautiful walk around the reef.

Busy, but very efficient ferry dock for BC ferries and others to go to islands, such as Vancouver Island. Little marketplace with food outlets and shopping vendors. It's great to have a bite to eat before docking.

Fantastic way to transport car $80 over from Vancouver to Victoria. On time, nice big clean boat, and with a cafeteria on board. Amazing views throughout the ship of the journey. Attraction in itself. Buy tickets in advance, they do fill up, especially when going with a car.

I was in Vancouver last week and decided to take the ferry to Victoria Island. We purchased ticket ahead of time and arrived with our car. It was a very smooth and fast process, you check in at the toll station and you show your boarding pass. They will assign you a lane and you go to the lane and wait for the boarding process. Surprisingly the process was very fast and efficient. They loaded over 200 cars and truck under 10-15 min. Once inside you can turn off your car and go up in the deck. They have nice sitting area, work stations, coffee shop and you can go outside and enjoy the beautiful view. It was a pleasant experience.

We got there just less than an hour from the next ferry to leave for Victoria. We paid at the entrance booth to the ferry terminal. The price for the car and two people was very reasonable. No need to book ahead. There was no extra charge for making the reservation. We got the line to go to and we drove there and placed our car next in line. It seems people get out of their cars and go shopping and eating at the enclosed mall. The building was great! Wonderful quality shops and many nice priced places to eat. Then, off to the car and enjoyed our hour and 30 minute trip. The ferry was pleasant and the view was very nice, Great experience!

BC Ferries are well-organized, speedy and clean. Booking our tickets online proved to be a wise decision, as it spared us any delays upon entering the terminal. Our ferry departed on schedule, and the boarding process was smooth and hassle-free. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking in every direction. Regrettably, the prices are notably steep. Nevertheless, the ferry journey itself was a delightful experience. Brace yourself for the wind on the ferry deck. We captured so many pictures. I thoroughly enjoy boarding the ferry at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.

Arrived 1:10 early and they said do we want to go on the earlier boat, yes please. Restaurant closed on Sunday but vending machines. Boat really smooth and the views are amazing of the little islands to Vancouver Swartz Bay. Tip make your way to the sun terrace at the top it’s the warmest and best views.

I Love the ferry terminal. Washrooms are always clean. Instructions are which line up to get in are clear. I think there is lots to enjoy as a casual user. Just be sure to get a reservation as sometimes the ferry can be very busy and it does get boring to have to wait a sailing or two….

Awesome totem poles that are free to view and take pictures. They have a boundary, so no one is permitted to go directly in contact with these statues. As a result, they're well kept and maintained here. There is a parking lot and a gift shop nearby. Lots of warning signs around the area about wild animals. Wide and clear walkways and paths to go on. It wasn't busy at all when we visited on a weekend afternoon. I recommend coming to see the Brockton Point Totem pole amongst other landmarks at Stanley park. It makes for a great walk along the coast line to see Vancouver!

Such a great attraction this is! Family friendly, informative and absolutely stunning views. We loved the information cards placed right by the view. Children enjoyed this experience more than the adults. The staff were very well trained, they kept the facility spotless and well organized.

First time visit here as visited Vancouver couple times. Great view for 360 degree view of all the directions of the city, in a sunny day. Drawback is they will close before sunset, so you cannot come for a night view. But probably they are worried about the safety in downtown for that.

That was sooo exciting when you go up in the very quick glass elevator about 130 meters high, or actually 168 meters above sea level! You can see all of Vancouver’s attractions from above. Inside, there are pictures of different Vancouver spots with their history, and there’s even a QR code you can scan to listen to the guide. Highly recommend it!

We didn’t get time to go to grouse mountain so decided to do the lookout. Cost is approx $44 for two. It was ok. Not much atmosphere at the top but there are markers for each site/building etc. it was cool being in the elevator outside. I wouldn’t say it’s a must do.

The Vancouver Lookout definitely lives up to its name—you get a mostly great panoramic view of the entire city. It’s a beautiful way to get your bearings and take in the skyline, mountains, and water all at once. That said, the ticket prices are pretty steep for what is essentially a quick experience. I give them bonus points for the thoughtful touch of having stepstools for little kids so they can actually enjoy the view too. I’ve done it once and it was lovely—but at that price point, I don’t feel the need to do it again. Worth checking off your list, but maybe not a repeat visit.

Canada Place is iconic and you’ll see the seaplanes, cruise ships and famed whale statue and Olympic Cauldron. Perfect place to walk along the harbor, shop and enjoy the many restaurants. It’s usually busy given that it is by the convention center and many cruise ships dock in the area. There is also a very fun ride, FlyOver Canada that will make you feel that you are actually flying, suspended in air with an aerial and jaw dropping views of Canada. Nice activity if it’s a rainy day.

Last week was my first cruise and was pleasantly surprised how easy and efficient it was at Canada Place to drop off our luggage and proceed to get on board our ship. We walked by the day before our ship left to get a lay of the land (walking down toward the luggage drop off) and ended up taking an Uber the day of (overpackers, lol) and got down to the drop off very quickly.

A beautiful building and a must see place when visiting Vancouver. There is a hotel, convention center and other things but we go there for the beautiful views. There is a cruise ship terminal and you might see a ship docked there. You can see north and west Vancouver. There is port nearby that you can see ships being unloaded. There are benches around and the walk is beautiful by the water. The views of the city during daylight and at night are amazing. There are restaurants if you need to eat.

Visited the Flyover Canada and did the Iceland Flyover. The ride cost about 32CAD discounted for BC residents. There is a short 6 minutes show before the ride.. I did not find the intermission show interesting at all. It seems they tried to make it kids friendly but even the kids doesn’t look interested. The storyline feels disconnected. After the intermission, visitors are led to the room with the rides. It was not a full room, there were vacant sits. The actual probably took amount 10 minutes (maybe less?). The show was interesting and I enjoyed it, although thee are a lot of room for improvements. It s supposed to be a sensory ride but it was missing the sensory effects. The mist was very milk and almost nothing, would also be nice if there will be strong cold or hot air, or some fragrance. The entire experience including intermission was about less than 30 minutes ( maybe about 20) which was quite an expensive for the price. Although I enjoyed the experience, I don’t think it’s worth the price. If you are tight on budget, I would not recommend this ride. This is expensive if doing it with family. Video recording was not allowed inside so I was not able to record the experience.

Had a wonderful time visiting the Flyover. All the team members are friendly and professional. We did both offerings- Canada and Iceland.It's really amazing to feel like you're soaring through the sky! If you arrive early there's a snack shop and gift shop. Great selection to choose from too. There's also a pic you can purchase to commemorate your visit. Try it next time you are at Canada place. BTW, if you need assistance with accessibility you can easily be accommodated. There's elevators if you have trouble with climbing stairs.

I recently went to FlyOver Canada in Vancouver, and honestly, it was absolutely stunning and mesmerizing. The ride itself feels incredibly real, you really get the sensation of flying over some of Canada’s most breathtaking landscapes, like the Rockies and the vast wilderness. The visuals are spectacular, and the effects like mist, wind, and even scents totally make the experience feel immersive and unforgettable. It’s the kind of adventure that’s great for all ages and really shows off the beauty of Canada from a unique perspective. One thing I noticed though is that the pre-show introduction could be handled better. Everyone ended up standing around, which made it tough to see the screen if you’re seated and especially if you’re disabled, you don’t get the best visibility unless you’re right up front. It was a bit frustrating and could be more organized to make sure everyone can see comfortably. But once the actual ride started, all those little issues disappeared. The flight was mesmerizing and completely captivating from start to finish. I highly recommend taking some pictures after the ride at the gift shop to remember the experience. Overall, it was unforgettable and definitely worth doing if you are visiting Vancouver. It’s a perfect mix of technology and storytelling that really brings Canada to life in the most incredible way.

My boyfriend and I did the Awaken Canada and Flyover Iceland experiences and absolutely loved them. We are from Toronto and really hope to see this come to us! Highly recommend you check this out. Get your tickets online before you go, they are cheaper and you can pick your time. Be prepared there is quite a wait time before you get to the actual flyover portion, however let yourself enjoy the full experience not just the main event!

We recently drove through Moran State Park to check it out for future visits, and it’s absolutely beautiful! The park sits right along the water and is incredibly lush and scenic. While there are no electrical hookups (which means we wouldn’t bring our RV), it’s perfect for tent camping or bringing our truck. We like to scope out parks ahead of time, and this one offers plenty of great sites to choose from, with four different camping areas. The park also has an awesome spot where you can rent kayaks and canoes, plus a designated swimming area with a beach. There are lots of amenities, and the restrooms were clean and well-kept throughout the park. A couple of tips: definitely book your campsite well in advance since this is a popular state park, and don’t forget to reserve your ferry tickets to Orcas Island both ways—especially on weekends, as the waits can be long. We’ll definitely be coming back here for camping and exploring more of what this amazing park has to offer!

I’m an Orcas resident, since 2014 — Moran embodies my sense of Orcas. We humans are the visitors in this natural setting where deer, birds, and critters of many types THRIVE. PLEASE be EASY and QUIET without leaving garbage so that we humans do not harm or disrupt. If you’ve read this far I will share a locally known very special place. Just before entering the park from the north, Rosario Rd goes Right, West. If you take it, in ~1/2 mile Palisades Dr. goes off downhill to the left. to a parking lot on the edge of the park. Park there and follow the trail at the edge of the parking lot ~1/4 mile to the right to a magnificent lagoon. Many people hang there by a prominent rock dabbling their toes in the shallow water and swimming. Another 1/4 mile along the path takes one to the wonderful bridge that is visible from the main Cascade Lake picnic area across the lake. My pics taken from the lagoon in May 2025.

An absolute favorite for good ole woods on the lake camping! Campgrounds have so much variety in shade, waterfront options, RV hookups, walk-in, and group sites. Their bathrooms and showers are well maintained, and the public use areas are always kept up as well. They staff a little snack shack where you can find limited swim gear and accessories, plus impressive snacks, coffee, ice cream, candy, etc. The lake is a non-motorized boat lake, but they rent out water toys or bring your own float islands and paddleboards. Mt. Constitution is also found within the park and is a must visit! Views into Canada and over the WA coast are to die for on a clear day. Whether you're visiting just for the day or longer, Moran State Park is an oasis worth experiencing!

Beautiful park with lots to do! You have the lake below Mount Constitution with rentals and food and a beach like atmosphere. You can go out Mount Constitution for trails or a big bike slog uphill. The views from the top of Mount Constitution are lovely. The whole area is great and it’s easy enough to ride an e-bike on the hills that go up and down.

We did the full Mt. Constitution hike loop: Cascade Lake, Powerline Trail, around the back to Twin Lakes, then up to the summit and back down. 10 miles, 3200 vertical. Had it to ourselves. Fantastic.

We were visiting BC from the Prairies, so a gondola ride was a must! Picking one was tricky though — they all seemed a bit overpriced. We ended up choosing Grouse Mountain because of their discounted evening ticket, which felt like a good way to experience the views without breaking the bank. As expected, most of the daytime activities were closed by then, but they looked fun and worth checking out if you come earlier in the day. The ride up on the smaller gondola was smooth and enjoyable. The ride down on the larger Skyride, however, was a bit of a letdown — it was crowded, and we had to wait quite a while for it to fill before it departed. That said, the evening walk around the top was beautiful. There was lots to see, and we were lucky enough to spot deer just roaming around — and the bears were super cool to see up close! Even without all the attractions running, it was a great experience overall. Worth it for the views and wildlife alone.

Grouse Mountain was such a great experience! The Skyride up is amazing — the view of Vancouver and the ocean is unreal. There was also a really fun show that made the visit even better. I saw the grizzly bears, walked the trails, and just enjoyed the fresh air. Everything felt so peaceful and beautiful. Totally worth the trip, and I’d definitely go again!

Grouse Mountain was a great disappointment to me. I was expecting breathtaking mountain scenery like what you see in Banff Alberta but to be fair the weather wasn’t great that day- it was rainy and foggy the whole time, which really limited the views. To be honest, I didn't feel like I got to experience the mountain's natural beauty, I don’t even think there was any mountain The Gondola ride was just there never got a chance to experience lumberjack show, the wildlife viewing was limited to just 2 grizzly bears. Considering the high price point, I felt like It didn’t worth the hype. Maybe I will have to visit when the weather is better to appreciate this place.

I visited Grouse Mountain National Park recently, and it turned into quite an unexpected adventure. The day started with an unplanned downpour, heavy rain combined with poor visibility and strong winds meant most of the attractions were closed. Honestly, they should have halted ticket sales on a day like this, because literally everything was shut except for a few core offerings. When I arrived, only the gondola was operational, which thankfully gave some beautiful views despite the fog. The main restaurant was open, and I did get to see the bears in their enclosure, which was a highlight. The rest of the activities and shows — the lumberjack show stage, zipline, hiking trails, scenic viewpoints, wildlife talks, and chairlifts were closed due to weather conditions. Even the secondary eateries and shops were shuttered. One important tip: check the weather forecast before visiting. Grouse Mountain offers a range of outdoor experiences, but rain and wind can shut down almost all of them. On a clear day, you can easily spend 3–4 hours exploring everything from hiking trails to ziplining, grizzly bear viewing, dining, and panoramic mountain scenery. I just wish they had been more upfront about the closures instead of charging full price. Parking isn’t free, so plan for that in your budget. Even with the closures and weather challenges, riding the gondola up and seeing the bears made it a memorable trip. On a sunny day, I’m sure it would be absolutely spectacular. ** They have Starbucks on site ** During rain, Gondola glass gets foggy and drops don’t slide down - there’s literally no visibility to the scenery outside.

Great moderate hike. It’s essentially a couple miles of stairs but that makes for a great workout. I drank a couple bottles of water (1.5 l). I saw a guy who looked in distress and gave him some water. There’s also a water station in the gondola center. Very nice views on top. It’s a one way hike. You have to take a different route down or the gondola down. You can get gondola tickets at a discount online. Nice views on top. There’s also a couple of bears you can check out and a zip line. Best to make an appointment for the zip line.

had a great time at grouse mountain. We did the grouse grind (as a beginner took 1h50min). then we ate at the top, walked around, saw the bears and lumberjack show, it was amazing! I was glad the gondola ticket was not too expensive, only $20 per adult (download ticket). I would recommend and would go back here!

It is a beautiful spot when the weather is good. Great street music going on, a lot of happy people enjoying the walk. I highly recommend it. Keep two hours min. Add more time for eating out as a lot of options for dinner there.

A place to walk, chill, make your mind in peace . White rock pier is a place full of positivity , serenity . One can go there and sit for some time and take a small walk on the pier. Enjoy the beauty ,nature,water, seagulls chirping , sea shore sound. There are enormous restaurants where you can eat and see sunset peacefully. Easily accessible by car till that point . Less walk for seniors and kids too . One can easily take small bus too to reach till that point .

My absolute favourite place in Vancouver. The most satisfying walk is walking through the promenade and the pier. This place always has something fun to offer .. be it sea festival or some rockband playing some beautiful music. Best place for families to come and enjoy some fresh breeze

An incredible adventure! Walk the prominade, the pier and stroll the beach. Observe the starfish on the U.S - Canada marker. Visit the amazing icecream shops and many restaurants with huge platters of fish & chips. White Rock is definitely worth the visit. You won't be disappointed.

This was our destination when we went ebiking this weekend with my son. The scenery was breathtaking and relaxing. Very nice to visit specially in the early morning where there is less people around.

White Rock Pier is a 470-metre-long (1,540 ft) pier in White Rock, British Columbia. Originally built in 1914, it was a dock for steamships that arrived when the Great Northern Railway began operation. On December 20, 2018, the pier was severely damaged during a wind storm. The pier was repaired and reopened in 2019. 🤍

Lafarge Lake Park is like the central park of our city. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy nature, and spend quality time with family and friends. A true gem in the heart of the community!

I love taking a stroll around the park especially seeing the changes every season. It’s great that there is something for everyone to do. Two ice cream shops/cafes now. Plus free wifi!

Having grown up when Lafarge Lake was little more than a former gravel pit filled with water, I can't help but be impressed by the fantastic job the City has done with this park. Loads of amenities and plenty of room to wander, play, explore, and relax. Always a lovely visit!

A great big park for everyone. Lots of sport fields, playground, large big lawn, a big lake. It's very popular for the lafarge Lake lights Festival in Christmas. It also holds a lot of summer events too. The big stage by the lake is good for concerts and shows. The flat trail around the lake is good for a walk. Lots of parking is good for all events. But it will be not enough washroom when the events take place, more washrooms are really important too. There are also with a electrical scooter station in the park. It has free wifi.

Our family's one of the most favorite places for walk and outdoor play. I had taken my younger daughter there, when she was younger to play at the playground or in the spray park, now I take my grandchildren there. We enjoy each year the Christmas Decoration. Today, we walked in the beautiful garden, which had never been that beautiful before.

An extraordinary and amazing park in downtown of Coquitlam. This park is really enjoyable, with many different things and spots to visit. There are soccer fields, basketball, volleyball, water park, tennis court, baseball field, a huge and official running field, so many things. Large parking lot, public washrooms, some places to eat and do small snacks, spaces for a BBQ. For who likes run or walking, there are a lot of places to do around the park. I really recommend this place.

Sprawling paved paths around forested green swimming lake, showers to rinse off outside. There are several entrances, an expansive dog park, ample parking, and a tennis court. Very dog friendly, clean and they have a few trashcans about the trails.

Very fun Lake to take the family to. Hot days can be pretty crowded but you can usually find a small cove with privacy if you don’t want to be near crowds. It’s fun to walk around the entire lake, about 2.5 miles or so. Has some decent size hills. Also good fishing, I have not personally fished the lake but I often see people getting good catches. Great spot to walk, swim, kayak, fish....ya know, all that outdoorsy stuff. Nicely maintained.

This is a very well maintained Park with a pristine and serene Lake. There are 3 entrances ( i believe) to this park, each with its own parking lot and amenities (such as bathrooms, picnic area and playground). We love the bike trail that circles the entire Lake and connects to the mountain bike trails. And yes, you're allowed to ride an E-assist bike here, but please respect the speed limit of 15 mph.

I came here specifically for fishing and while there is a dock for fishing it's dilapidated. The benches are rotted and the deck isn't much better. Tons of swimmers, kayakers, and people just enjoying their day. Seems like it would be crazy busy in June while the college is still in term.

I spent a sunny morning walking the mostly flat lakeside loop and loved how everything feels compact and easy to use. The main trail is smooth and friendly for joggers, families with strollers, and dog walkers, while short side trails climb into quieter forested spots if you want birdwatching or a bit of solitude. There’s a small boat launch and plenty of picnic space, so bring a blanket and snacks; midweek parking is easy but weekends get busy. Wear comfortable shoes and a light layer for lake breezes.

This is a beautiful park with well-manicured trails, a picnic area, a playground, and plenty of open space to walk around. We visited on a weekend and it was fairly busy, so if you’re looking for total solitude you may want to choose another spot. That said, it still felt peaceful and relaxing, with lots of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We’d definitely come back again for another visit.

This is amazing park with many trails where you can go for a walk, jogging or cycling. There are multiple and different parking stalls on different areas. And absolutely a beautiful waterfall and lakes around the park. Many areas for pets with leash and without leash area. Other spots for a birthday party and BBQ. Don’t hesitate on visiting this place you will absolutely enjoy it.

Very cool park with ample parking, a playground for kids, paved walking paths for handicapped visitors, and several walking/hiking trails for more adventurers. There's also a fish hatchery there, not sure how active it is. Looking forward to returning in the near future.

Amazing and cute little park! The falls are beautiful, with the amenities of a small city park (playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, bathrooms, off-leash dog areas, etc.) but with trails that feel like you're out in the middle of the woods. Waterfalls and small creek are very charming. The pools made by the dams are picturesque. Love that the waterfalls and stone bridge is so close to the parking lot.

This site is incredibly well maintained and thoughtfully run. Whether you’re visiting with kids, friends, or just on your own, it’s a great stop for all ages. It offers a hands-on glimpse into early Canadian life. The staff and volunteers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. A must-visit if you’re exploring the area.

Wow, it was a great place to learn about Canada’s history. I was amazed this village is preserved for our next generations of Canadians… the one in the fur area was welcoming and she was amazing in explaining Canada’s history… she is awesome!!!!! Thank you so much for being so welcoming and explaining the history of how different furs impact our history….

Fort Langley National Historic Site 🇨🇦 is an absolute gem! Stepping inside feels like traveling back in time — the grounds are beautifully preserved, and the atmosphere is full of history and charm. From interactive exhibits to hands-on activities, there’s something for everyone, whether you’re a history buff or just looking for a fun family outing. It’s the perfect blend of entertainment and learning — a must-visit when exploring the Fraser Valley!

This is just a marvel to watch. The place has been preserved and takes to actual historic times. There's a small café that serves excellent summer beverages. We spent around 5 hours, still felt it's not enough to explore the whole place.

We absolutely enjoyed this space during our visit. Staff was friendly, helpful and the space was immaculate. And excellent way to spend a day out with the family. And I absolutely LOVED this café, I wish all Vancouver Cafés would start serving this level of healing yumminess.

Intricate stories at every stop provide a welcoming atmosphere for even the faintest of history buffs. Each building is a place bringing back a time in Canada's history in a fun, at times interactive way. Lots to see in every corner. Pull the handle on boxes to be surprised by artifacts. See what Blacksmiths, Traders, Stewards and many others used to do in a time far from the present. Live demonstrations and friendly interpreters make the experience immersive.

Visiting Fort Langley felt like traveling back in time. The well-kept historic site has interesting exhibits and helpful guides. It's a great place for history lovers and families.

Nice to visit here!!! But you definitely need to bring your own car here!!! 🚗🚙🚘🚖 (If you want to hike this mountain!!!) and please do not visit there till autumn - early summer!!! It is pretty snowy and cold in the top part of the mountain!!! (You can also die sir… if you disobey my advices and quotes..) (Because I experienced it…)

One of my favourite Park. This park is huge. They have a lot of entrances. Some on the left some on right. There are forest, river, big lake, small peace lake, mountains… in the park. Make sure come earlier as so many things to do and see. Enjoy the nature in Golden Ears.

Great place for a quick hike and great trails too! It is very beautiful place, quite occupied, family friendly and fun trails to the creek. It will take all about 3 hours to explore the trail to the creek and back, especially if you stopped here and there to admire views and side locations to sit. But be careful cause your phone signal will be off if you are at the north beach or go up the trail. You can find camping sites, bathrooms are well distributed,

BC at its finest, this is an amazing park. It’s got it all. From a pristine lake to waterfalls and hiking trails for all. I can’t say enough about this great park and definitely recommend coming here if you can. Lots has been written about this park, so skip the words and come to this place and experience nature at its finest.

Beautiful provincial park however it is extremely busy. During camping seasons you must buy a camping spot within the literal second the tickets go online or you are screwed. Not to mention you need day passes for certain days during the summer and winter which I find ridiculous. It is also an extremely busy park in general and you will have a hard time finding a nice secluded spot with no people unless you really hike. That being said this park is truly beautiful with amazing waterfalls and lakes with gorgeous surrounding by mountains and forests.

We camped at the Gold Creek campground the week after the long weekend. The park rangers are incredibly helpful, and they maintain the park beautifully. While we camped, I saw them clean the bathrooms 2-3 times a day, checking campsites to be sure there were no squatters, and enforcing the day pass rule so the park wasn’t over crowded. Overall it was a wonderful stay and beautiful weather.

Gorgeous urban nature park with a 2.17 km paved pathway around a stunning man made lake complete with sizeable fountain. For bird enthusiasts, various water fowl and marsh birds can be heard and spotted, such as the red winged black bird. You might even spot a painted turtle sunning themselves! There are 3 playground areas, a water park, outdoor pool, picnic areas and baseball diamond. Plenty of open and shaded spots with park benches available, including a small floating dock for fishermen or anyone wanting to enjoy the lake breeze.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family on a nice sunny day. Me and my husband usually come here for an after dinner walk. We love how relaxed and serene the atmosphere here. Bicycles are allowed here, pets on a leash are allowed except by the playground area. Washrooms are available and picnic tables are all over the place as well as benches. It’s a good 30-45 minute walk if you do the full circle. I like the bridge area the most especially during sunset. Also, I have seen a few men fishing by the dock and I have asked them what fishes are usually caught and they said it’s mostly trouts here. So, if you like to fish you can try it here. A lot of geese all over the place so watch out for land mines! Lol! Parking may be a challenge during peak hours. This place is friendly to all ages, wheelchair and stroller accessible!

The park is beautiful, well maintained and has a lot of nature. It is family and pet friendly. It has public bathrooms. It is a good place to practice many different sports including jogging and running. Also good for a picnic or to enjoy good time outside with family, pets and friends. The only thing preventing it to be 5 stars is that it does not have lights enough to enjoy it when it is dark.

Fairly nice park with pretty views. Paths are paved. Lots of parks along the loop, with playgrounds, washrooms, benches, and parking. Also a place to fish aswell as a boat ramp. Expect to see lots of ducks, birds and squirrels. Sadly a lot of homeless hanging out and camping in the area. Was approached multiple times while walking the loop which made me a bit uncomfortable as a young woman. Maybe not the best place to walk alone.

EDIT- this should be called Goose Lake, the park is just ripe with goose droppings. They’ve covered the walkways, paths, all the fields. It’s just absolutely disgusting! Other than that I could be beautiful park for humans but the geese have overtaken!!! My dog loves to go for walks around the lake but right now he doesn’t even want to walk the pathways and just directs to the sidewalk outside the park!

I loved this park, I went with my partner and my 7-month-old baby, we did the complete circuit, we were able to see many animals and plants, and the view of the lake is very beautiful. I recommend it

Beautiful park with a 2.5 km looped walking trail around the lake. You can see Mt Baker in the distance and there are benches and picnic tables around the park where you can sit and enjoy the view. There are parking lots scattered in different parts of the park and a big playground for kids next to each lot. Very clean and close to residential neighbourhoods. This is a beautiful park to visit for families, friends, and lovers.

The village store is such a fascinating business to go to. I just wish I knew about it sooner because they have been in business for almost 40 years. They have a great variety of different candy, tea and even baked goods such as scones and pies to serve. They have some unique sweets like Cotton Candy Dr. Pepper, Reese’s Wafer bars, Karameller Swedish Candy and Candy Rock Sticks. They even sell a unique selection of beer; however, you can only have it when you are dining in their store. The interior countenance of the store is very old-fashioned yet appealing. There was an old but working fireplace, these historic industrial coffee makers and a lot of other old knick-knacks on display. The people who worked there were very pleasant and helpful too. I did not take any pictures or videos of the inside of the village store, out of respect for the owners and workers there. I would very much love to pay my patronage to the Clayburn Village Store again soon. For those of you that have not been there yet, go check it out.

The owners Trish and Bryan are kind , caring people who run a special shop . I’m never disappointed with their selection of British food and treats galore. Their home baked specialty pasties etc. are the best , their soups so tasty and made from the best local ingredients …. We’re so lucky to have them here !

A not to be missed experience. I especially enjoyed meeting and talking with Brian one of the store owners. Not only does he have extensive knowledge of the products in the store but he is so passionate about what he does. Walking around the store packed with items which in some cases are only available in this store, is an absolute joy. Products include British chocolates and candies, Chutneys, Jams, sauces etc.

What a spot! This place has everything for the sweet tooth in the family as well as some delicious savory fresh baked goods. The owners are incredibly welcoming and happy to have a chat to get to know you and tell you about the amazing history of this store. Its the true centre piece of Clayburn Village and its an amazing piece of community.

A small shop at the back of a residential house selling body care and facial care products made with essential oils. Good quality, wonderful scent, and reasonable price. The owner Sue is very nice and showed me how she organized her work. Decor is cozy and romantic. Highly recommend. This shop only opens Saturday in Abbortsford.

There is 350m elevation to get to the suspension bridge but nice views from there. Suspension bridge is exciting and offers nice place to take photographs. Slightly challenging for those who’ve leg injury or mobility issues. Lots of parking but can get full during summer.

Cascade Falls is a must-visit spot, perfect for a quick and refreshing getaway. Located just a short distance away, I never imagined I could reach such a stunning waterfall so easily. The walk to the falls is gentle and accessible for everyone, making it an ideal destination for all ages.

A beautiful oasis just 1-2 hours outside of Vancouver! Cascade Falls is absolutely stunning, and the short hike to the suspension bridge is both fun and scenic. It’s a great spot to cool off on a hot day, with crystal-clear pools perfect for swimming and refreshing cool water. Just a heads-up—make sure to bring bug spray, especially if you’re planning to stay later in the day. Enjoy!

Loved this spot! A very short toddler friendly hike up to the waterfall. There is a bit of an incline but very manageable for kids 2+, just hold their hands. There are some stairs along the way as well but doesn't take more than 15 mins if you're walking slowly. You can take some great pictures at the waterfall and the bridge. At the base, if you go right, there are a couple of sheltered tables for a picnic and then in the same area you can get right into the water flowing from the waterfall.

This waterfalls is always a refreshing sight. I saw it on Fall and Summer time. The picnic area is tiny but the river below is a lovely spot to go for a quick dip. The restroom could get a little bit of cleaning.

Nice, short walk to an absolutely beautiful waterfall. Great for the family to get some air and explore, totally worth a visit. No drones, no flippy floppys...doesn't say anything about pants though!

A beautiful hidden gems, a great place to take a day trip You can take a short hike to the falls which is spectacular, a wonderful suspension bridge along the route. There is a nice size parking lot, a few picnic tables! A great place for a picnic!!

I really enjoyed the place — the park is fantastic! It’s a great space for both adults and children to spend time, relax, enjoy the fresh air, and unwind. That said, there were a couple of things that slightly took away from the overall experience. First, the staff. I wish they were more friendly and engaged. It was rare to see anyone smile or show interest. It often felt like the younger staff members saw themselves as being “in charge” and behaved in a somewhat condescending or superior way. That kind of attitude isn’t very welcoming and doesn’t encourage return visits. If the staff were more open and positive in their interactions, I would happily give this place five stars. Secondly, the food at the food court was underwhelming. Some of the vegetables looked like they had wilted long before they made it to my plate. The tomatoes, for example, were completely inedible — I couldn’t even manage to eat them. On a positive note, though, the poutine was delicious — so thank you for that!

A excellent Waterpark located just a hour across the Canadian boarder from Washington State. The Staff was outstanding, very helpful and and friendly. A great variety of water slides. Lots of splash areas for the young ones. The area was so clean. There is plenty of parking ( They do charge a fee) really enjoyed everything they offered

Fun-Filled Family Day at Cultus Lake Waterpark! We visited Cultus Lake Waterpark last Saturday with the whole family, and it was an absolute blast! The kids (and adults!) had an unforgettable time. The park offers a fantastic variety of rides suitable for both children and adults, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy. The highlight of our day was the colossal canyon - grabbing a four-person tube and navigating the twists and turns was thrilling and had us all laughing like crazy! There are plenty of picnic table areas throughout the park, perfect for setting up a home base to relax and eat. We also loved discovering the hot tubs scattered around—see if you can find them all for a relaxing break between rides! A few things to note: There’s a bag check at the entrance, and open bottles will be emptied, so plan accordingly. Also, once you enter, there’s no re-entry, so make sure to bring all your essentials with you. Overall, Cultus Lake Waterpark is a fantastic spot for a family outing. With exciting rides, great amenities, and plenty of fun, we can’t wait to return!

Cultus Lake Waterpark is considered as one of the best in British Columbia. It's only a couple of hours away from Downtown Vancouver or about an hour away from Surrey. The drive to this place is wonderful. The rides are amazing and for most rides you don't need to be a swimmer. There are lifeguards watching you from everywhere so you're pretty safe. Beware: some rides do need you to be an expert swimmer. Please buy your tickets in advance as on weekends they are mostly sold out. You can carry your tents, umbrellas, mats, wagons full of food and drinks, etc. They have a ground which can be used for having a picnic. You can get lockers there to store valuable belongings. As for parking, you get two options - free parking at the back of the park (unsupervised), and paid parking ($10 for the day) in front of the park. You can check their website for all the good things you get. It's well written over there. A must go with friends or with family.

The park has a great, fun, and family-friendly atmosphere. Lots of slides and activities for kids, and the whole place is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and make you feel safe. ✅ Pros: • A wide variety of slides for all ages • Clean, family-oriented environment • Helpful and polite staff ❌ Main downside: They don’t limit ticket sales, so it gets overcrowded. We had to spend most of our day standing in long lines. It would be much better if they controlled the number of visitors.

Fantastic park! Layout makes everything accessible. Also a ton of fun slides/rides for teens and adults. Since it was a bit cloudy, it wasn't as busy as I feel it would be if it was sunny. We were able to get a covered table and that made a different compared to being on the grass (as we didn't prepare for that). Staff was friendly and helpful. I honestly enjoyed all the slides and raft rides. Price was $40 CAD (I'm from California) and I felt that was about right. Food is always pricey, but there is an option to bring in sealed food. I did buy "Valley of fries" which was like $12. Also there is a coffee/expresso/frappe' bar too. Valley of Fear, Speed Slide and Freefall were awesome. Again, honestly impressed with all the slides. And if it is a bit cold at 1st, there are hot tubs dotted throughout the park! My kids enjoyed immensely.

Such an amazing waterpark!! The best I’ve been to in BC. It’s got a whole bunch of slides ranging from easy to difficult, and ones for all ages. The lineups aren’t terrible, they seem to cap attendance at the right number to keep everything flowing smoothly in the park. There is food available and it’s not too expensive. I recommend the fish and chips, it is excellent! Don’t fear if it’s raining, you will still have a blast at the waterpark because the lines will be shorter, and there are hot tubs everywhere. I’ve been here on a rainy day before and it was one of my favourite days in the park. You can’t beat a sunny day though, even with the longer lines! Highly recommend checking out this waterpark, you will not be disappointed!

This is now by far my favorite Washington waterfall. Amazing! The amount of water coming down and another river joining it is incredible to watch. The drive is long from Olympia, but worth it at least once. There are snakes in the area, but we didn't see any. All snakes west of the cascades are non- venomous. In Washington state, the only venomous snake is the Western Rattlesnake, also known as the Northern Pacific Rattlesnake. It is primarily found in the eastern part of the state, east of the Cascade Mountains. There's plenty of parking of everyone parks next to each other.

You drive down a windy gravel road to an open gravel parking lot. The walk down is only like a minute from the parking lot. The falls is beautiful and fenced in from the cliff. No restrooms available.

SPECTACULAR!!! I first went to Racehorse falls which isn't too far away and I thought it was my favorite Until I saw Nooksack....WOW I first climbed under the bridge and down some big rocks which put me on Top of the falls which was an Amazing perspective. If it had been wet the rocks would have been dangerous and slippery but luckily I was there on a dry day. Just around the corner you can see the falls falling. So very beautiful. And I also liked that there was no hiking needed. Highly recommend these falls.

Easy to get to and pretty but the very tall fencing takes away from the glory of it all. I understand it's necessary for safety purposes but it does take away from the beauty.

This is my favorite spot to escape from reality and enjoy nature, I've also siphoned gallons of water from the falls and its the most refreshing water I've ever had.

The view is underrated during Summer for the ski area and can’t justify the beauty in Winter season, but it is worth a visit. Most parts of the roads uphill are winery, so it requires good driving skills. Chains are needed for Winter.

Epic mountain with tons of snow during the season! ❄️🏂 No frills, just pure skiing and snowboarding fun. The terrain is insane — great for advanced riders but still has chill runs too 🎿🔥 Vibes are super local and laid-back, no resort crowds 🙌 If you love powder, Mt. Baker delivers. 💯🌨️

I’ve been coming here for multiple years now, the skiing here is great, with great views at the top of the lifts. And food at the lodges is good.

Great destination for hiking, camping, and snowshoes. You can ski, too. And they all come with great views if Baker, Shuksan, ridges, lakes, and (in season) fall colors of blueberry and Sumac.

Road is a little rough, but my '98 Jetta made it no problem. Great little lake to walk around, can't wait to see it after it snows!

Amazing mountain that has soenthing for everyone. From painters caught up in the beautiful landscape to skiers and hikers looking to push the limit. The views here are breathtaking

bridal Falls comes up in things to see in the area and we have noticed it used in some Canadian filmed shows so decided to explore. We went on a misty morning on a Wednesday in December thinking we’d be the only tourist types going in the rain but there were small groups of people coming and going. There really isn’t anywhere to park but a road edge and it is a fairly steep hike for 15 minutes up to the falls. Very scenic area and a beautiful falls.

Went there in the morning for a short walk during weekend with friends. Better be there early on weekends to get parking spot. Trails available and going up to the right you will able to see the amazing Bridal Veil Falls. Their Picnic area, tables and pit washrooms are better than Shannon Falls. Although these parks have their own must see great views. Dog friendly on leash park and trail but didn’t see any playground for children.

Beautiful waterfalls conveniently near highway 1. The short hike is worth it. But i hope they place more direction signs. It may be a short trail, but we still got a bit lost as there were 2 intertwined trails. Parking can be full, so a little bit of patience is needed even on a not so busy day.

Are you getting sleepy on a long commute? If yes, then here is a quick little hike to get the blood flowing and wake you up. Trail will take you about 15 minutes hike to the top, and the waterfall waters are good for a quick cold shower (if you choose to ignore the signs and hike the rest of the way up). It is worth a stop 100%

The trails and paths are extremely well maintained and clearly marked. The viewing area at the waterfall has a taped off area to prevent people from climbing up to the falls, but someone cut the tape. Beautiful picnic spots near the parking area with plenty of restrooms close by. The picnic tables are right next to a small stream which is incredibly peaceful to listen to. I would imagine the place gets very busy in the sunny months though. This was an amazing morning trip from Abbotsford.

Wonderful place for a short (uphill) hike to the falls. There are two trails up -- one is steeper and shorter. We took that one up and then the longer, less steep one back (has some stairs). Other trails as well for longer hikes.

the walk is steep in some places, but not incredibly difficult if you have no physical barriers. Some slopes are about 30*+ and you feel it. The view is worth it. There are two paths up, the short one from the parking lot has the steepest slopes. The other one has some stairs to help.

It is overall a great campsite, our site was spacious enough (some sites are too crowded/near each other) and well maintened. Not sure year round but there were a bit of bees. The water is clear and with some fish. The forest logging roads on the way is a beginners level and not much rocks but plenty of potholes. Easy camp within 2hrs from the lower mainland. Please be diligent in researching and booking campsites via the BC parks website.

INCREDIBLE, BEAUTIFUL hike. I do recommend being prepared. If you go early, there will be a lot of spider webs on the path. You need a stick. We didn't see a another human the entire hike. Very nice walk, easy difficulty. We saw the bear poop and knew he was around. We only had one can of Bubbly with us. We were city slickers not prepared at all. The threat of the bear is real.

Definitely enjoyed the campground, very clean. The park Rangers, we're constantly driving around, making sure that all the garbage cans recycling cans were all clean and emptied. Outhouses were clean. It's nice. Sandy beach area with lots of picnic tables. Make sure you bring extra tarps. In case it gets windy, so you can make a wind shelter. To block the wind

Hicks Lake is a hidden gem! The water is clean, calm, and surprisingly warm - perfect for swimming. It’s a great spot for kayaking, with a few small islands you can paddle to and relax on their quiet, scenic beaches. Peaceful and beautiful, it’s a perfect escape into nature.

Beautiful lake, very well kept! The drive up isn’t super rough either which was nice!

This lake is absolutely gorgeous. Warm water great for swimming. Lots of beaches and rock areas so there’s room for everyone. There are dog aloud areas and no dog allowed areas. Multiple bathrooms pick Nick tables and swimming areas. Great trails to walk and explore. Lots of free parking and wheelchair accessible. There is camping available as well. Great Lake to take the family to. Sun and shade areas. Lots of geese to enjoy but with that comes a lot of geese poop. The geese poop is the only downfall to this lake

Absolutely stunning🌟!! Beautiful mix of nature and history. It’s short walk from the parking lot (5mins). We visited over the weekend and it was pretty busy, parking gets full pretty fast but there’s plenty of parking alongside the road you can use, if you don’t mind walking a few extra meters!! Tunnels are extraordinary. Walk alongside the canyon, with rushing water - its just beautiful😍 Definitely check them out while they are still Open!!

Beautiful place. Wonderful nature with peaceful sound of the clear water. We could enter three tunnels, or actually 2,5; Halfway the last tunnel was a wall built, with a note with the message repairs are needed on the tunnels so we couldn't go further. Despite it was very worth the (15-20 minute?) stop. It was a very little walk of approximately 5 minutes. (Would have been possible/ accessible with wheelchair I guess.)

Absolutely gorgeous, it was amazing how the tunnels turn around to fabulous views. It's a nice walk towards the entrance and get dark, better to have some form touch or mobile flash would do. The bridges are quite the catch with the view. There are more tunnels and could walk down the way. Definitely a place to visit!

Made a pit stop here on route from Vancouver to Sun Peaks and I’m so glad that we did. The tunnels are incredible. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. The views are amazing. I highly recommend visiting this place from some unique sights and amazing pictures.

The nature here is absolutely beautiful, and it’s a very interesting historical place. This is a great destination for anyone who loves the rich history of our province. I just have a couple of small suggestions: 1. On weekends, it’s really difficult to find parking — there clearly aren’t enough spots, and there are a lot of tourists. 2. There isn’t much historical information available on-site, so I often had to use Google Search to learn more about the place. Other than that, it’s definitely worth visiting!

Finally revisited the Othello tunnels since their full re-opening, the restoration crews did a great job. It may only be a short portion of the historic kettle valley railway, but it's beautiful, the tunnels are a little spooky, and everything feels very safe. Don't forget your flashlight, or the flashlight on your phone.

Visiting this place is like a small lottery — sometimes you get to see it, sometimes you don’t. Very unexpectedly. Our group tried twice. The second time we even called ahead, and they confirmed the Tunnels were open. We drove more than 150 km — only to find them closed. Why? For how long? Nobody could answer. I hope you’ll be luckier. From the parking lot, it’s just a 12-minute walk along a wide, flat road, comfortable even for seniors and children. On the bright side, the road to this location is very picturesque, which helps soften the disappointment. And by the way, you can also visit the famous Bridal Falls, just 42 km away.

Been here before and decided to bring our road trip to pass by here. Although online suggested buying tickets online, this place was not busy at all with zero line ups and ample parking. The airtram experience was great offering great views to and from its lower facility. This place features multiple exhibits, gift shop, gold panning station, cafe (reviewed separately), bridge, and fudge store that offers a decent experience to the average tourist. Compared to my previous experience, this place feels a little dead. Perhaps it's not the summer season yet, but I feel like the shops they had originally have turned to exhibits for the sake of cutting manpower costs. The gold panning station was kind of lacklustre without anyone teaching about the mechanics like before. Overall it's a solid 3 and very hard for me to place a 4 like before.

Spectacular views and a unique experience, but a few things to know before you go. Hell’s Gate is definitely worth a visit if you’re driving through the Fraser Canyon. The gondola ride across the canyon is short but breathtaking, and the views of the rushing Fraser River are stunning. The suspension bridge and historical displays add a nice touch, and the whole place feels like a piece of BC history. However, parking is very limited, so try to arrive early. The on-site restaurant has a very limited menu — mostly sandwiches (around $14), two soups, fries, and burgers. The food is overpriced and not very impressive. Also, the gift shop, while fun to browse, is quite expensive. Still, the scenery makes up for the downsides. If you manage your expectations for food and shopping, the overall experience is memorable and well worth it. Also there's only one bathroom at the bottom of the Canon

Been running since 1968 and well worth stopping and doing the tram. A good history lesson on it being part of the gold rush. Great gift shop and restaurant, staff are very friendly.

A great place to stop and stretch your legs on a long road trip and well worth the time spent. A great look into the history of the salmon runs on the river. There’s a great little ‘spooky’ self-guided tour and the suspension bridge was definitely a bit hair raising. Also, they have a penny crusher machine so make sure you have some loonies!

Skip it! Don’t waste your money here. They had the most unfriendly staff, if you can even find one. The place is like a ghost town. If I knew how rundown this place had gotten, I wouldn’t even pay $5 a person to get in let alone the hefty price of $37. Thank goodness my son under 5 still otherwise it’s $32 a kid! There are zero activities there, the “gold panning” is a disgrace - the water is a biohazard and there was barely any gravel let alone any “gold”. I feel offended for all the tourist that come here and think this place represents Canada in any way shape or form. Also, 1 single gum ball at the candy store was $23.09…. Excuse me whatttt?!?

I've been to hell's gate a number of times and it has a nice view of the Frazer river but there isn't really much to do once you've taken the airtram to the bottom. The gift store is lacking and doesn't have much things to offer but the fudge on the other had is really good. The tickets for hells gate are kind of expensive but understanding this place is more of a tourist attraction. 7/10

Super disappointing and limited experience. This is my Honest review with no filter or sugar coating. I would have given it one star but fell sorry because nature and surrounding elements are spectacular indeed. Where do we start with negatives?! First off the price set at $35 is not only steep but completely unjustified. I read a review before I went there that it’s very rundown and nothing really to do there. I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Once you get up across the river after a very. Beautiful but short tram ride you have a suspension bridge, a counter that was once a restaurant, a sad, overpriced and limited store, a small gallery history museum and a Fudge and candy store that sells terrible fudge by the way. The restaurant looks so run down that we didn’t order anything. They had 5-6 food choices on the menu and it’s an actual counter self serve cashier. The store sells some items and cheap souvenirs some you’d find in Vancouver aquarium and bc ferries but much more pricey. The sweet shop / ice cream fudge was a total joke. I got a sea salt and caramel. If you’ve never had a fudge in your life there is a small chance you might like it. It was salty like they dumped the salt and rolled it into a mushy paste with some hint of sweet caramel. I almost died in the first bite. The whole place seems unkept and rundown. It really is a shame because it is such a heritage site and deserves to shine. I imagine if a better owner take care of this place it could receive some boost and major upgrades.

Beautiful lake close to Kamloops, easy lake access and boat dock for boats an kayaks. Big lake , downfall always someone driving to fast making huge waves close to SUP s and kayakers :( . One my fav places to spend the day .

Stayed at the provincial park campground. Very clean and relatively quiet. Roads in campground paved and each site is gravel. Has a wonderful playground for kids. Nice big campsites and lots of little trails. Lake is very nice and calm. Really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful. Nice level RV space. Toilets not very clean , but ...very very pretty and a kind young men at the gate.

Public place to have a good time with friends or family. The facilities are good except the washroom which wasn’t up to standard. It’s also free to use. The map may tell you it’s closed but you should find out yourself

Lac Le Jeune is a peaceful and pretty lake, located within a Provincial Park of the same name in British Columbia. Beautiful at Sunrise and Sunset, otherwise it is quite average. I am uploading two photos taken at Dawn.
