Perfect Picnic Spot with Stunning Views🏖️ Visited Deception Pass State Park yesterday and had such a lovely time! We brought along some tea and enjoyed a peaceful picnic on a bench right in front of the beach the view was absolutely breathtaking. After that, we went for a walk and took in the scenic beauty all around. The fresh air, water views, and surrounding greenery made it such a refreshing experience. It was also wonderful to spend time here with family and our dog, it’s a very pet-friendly spot. The park is well-maintained and perfect for a relaxing day trip. Highly recommend visiting for anyone looking to enjoy nature, have a picnic, or just slow down and take in some beautiful views.

My wife and I had a fantastic camping trip at Deception Pass State Park! We stayed in our trailer at site #318, which had a 30-amp hookup and was easy to access. The site was clean, quiet, and surrounded by beautiful trees — a great balance of privacy and nature. The campground itself was peaceful and well-maintained, with plenty of room to walk and explore. We really appreciated how quiet it was in the evenings — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. Overall, a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back again!

Deception Pass State Park is one of the most spectacular places in Washington State. From hiking trails through lush forests to watching the powerful waters under the bridge, every corner is picture-perfect. Families and pet owners will love it here. Entry is affordable at $10 per day or $30 for the annual pass. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Pacific Northwest.

Beautiful park, second time being here. Outstanding views where you can see seals, fish, and sometimes the brave human in a kayak. You can park and then walk on the bridge. Note, don’t be alarmed when the bridge vibrates when the cars onboard onto it, it’s normal and safe. Do pay attention but have fun.

Clean restrooms at Rosario Beach section and at the pull off for walking across the bridge. There’s a ton of short trails to check out so I’ll definitely stop by again next time I’m in the area 😊 It was extremely nice to be able to cross the road by going under the bridge. There’s a lot of traffic.

If you love a great short hike we awesome views, this is a killer spot. Competitive parking, bit there are spots and pull offs on both sides of the bridge. Traffic drives fast. Be careful.

I spent a week up at Deception Pass State. The Park is beautiful with a lot of privacy and space between campsites and there are great hiking trails to enjoy. Friends with us enjoyed biking and kayaking as well. The forest was awesome with old growth cedars, sooo many ferns, and a variety of mushrooms. The Park is dog-friendly with dogs on leash. The only reason I did not give this Park 5-stars was because of the noise from the naval jets (the base is close by on Whidbey Island).

Fort Worden State Park is a fantastic place that truly has it all. It’s a perfect spot for anyone whether you're a history buff, an outdoor enthusiast, or just looking for a great family outing with amazing wildlife. What really stands out is the history. You don't just read about the past here; you get to walk right through it. The old forts and battle stations are incredible to explore, giving you a real, hands-on feel for what life was like back then. It's a powerful and unforgettable experience to stand in those massive concrete structures and imagine the soldiers who once manned them. But the park isn't just about history. There's so much to do outside. You can rent a kayak to paddle the shoreline, go for a hike, or overnight camping. It’s also great place to ride a bike and explore the grounds. And at the end of the day, the sunsets are absolutely stunning the perfect way to wind down. Plus, the park is super clean, with well-kept bathrooms, and it's just a short distance from Port Townsend. It’s the kind of place you can visit again and again and always find something new to explore.

If you’re in Port Townsend and into history this is the place for you. There’s a trail that you can walk around. A light house that you can explore. A small aquarium and a museum store. You can camp on the grounds, lay on the beach. Although I’m not sure about going into the water. It is cold!

Lovely place. I go here whenever I can, it's charming and vast. Bicycling, strolling the cats, walking, reading, Journaling, deer watching, exploring, watching boats. Cable House is a treasure. Have yet to visit Taps, the Theater or the coffee vendor. Somethings to look forward to.

Step back into history to see these very authentic grounds. Some have been multi purposed for various entities, however the period architecture is well worth admiring. Continue on to the lighthouse to complete your visit or just enjoy a nice stroll through the grounds, perfect place to unwind.

We drove through Fort Worden park and down to the beach. All the historic buildings and bunkers are so interesting to see. The grounds are well maintained. Beautiful views all around. Down at the beach, you will find free, well maintained restrooms. There is plenty of parking with several trails down to the beach. I really loved it and want to return when I can spend more time at the beach. There is a historic lighthouse and some charming building. We saw lots of birds and even some deer grazing on the grass. I could have spent more time here, but we were just passing through. It was not very crowded on a June day when I visited.

Really had a great day here. Collected many rocks and shells. Lighthouse was beautiful and historic. Most clean restrooms of any beach I have ever seen. Thank you to those responsible!

Only had time to do a quick drive through before we had to be somewhere else, but buildings, area and light house were pretty awesome. Would love to go back again and all around, go into museum, etc.

This was honestly one of the most overrated experiences imaginable. Although I’ve heard people say it might have been better years ago, in its current state it’s awful. The tour started with a short video about the founder of Boeing, which was actually very interesting. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. From there, we boarded a bus to the factory, only to go down one set of stairs, then another, and stand in line multiple times before finally taking an elevator up to the viewing area. When we got there, absolutely nothing was happening in the factory. Our tour guide seemed incredibly discombobulated, barely offered any real explanations, and came across as both uninformative and a bit on the creepy side. I honestly thought this was just the beginning of the tour, but it turns out that was it—we immediately went back down the elevator, back on the bus, where we got a bunch of useless information that didn’t add much of anything. We ended up right back at the gift shop, which made the whole thing feel like it was designed more to sell merchandise than to actually show or teach us anything meaningful. We also visited the museum afterwards, which was just as underwhelming. There wasn't much going on, and you'd think we'd at least be able to sit in a cockpit or get close to an aircraft, but even that was missing. Honestly, they should rethink everything about this tour from the ground up-especially considering the price they're charging, not to mention the extra cost of getting there and back. Just a side note, there is a rooftop where you could watch the shared runway, which would be fun. But unfortunately, when we were there, it was not very active. Overall, a huge disappointment. Save your time and money.

One of the things I really appreciated was how accommodating they were for disabled visitors, making sure everyone could enjoy the tour comfortably. Parking is free on-site, another big plus. The on-site canteen served great food at reasonable prices, with plenty of vegetarian options available, which was perfect for our needs. It’s important to note that the tour does not take you onto the actual manufacturing floor itself, so you’re observing mostly from designated balconies and open areas rather than walking alongside the assembly lines. That said, it’s still incredible to see several planes at different stages of construction. Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or not, if you are anywhere near Seattle and like planes this tour is a must-do. Whenever we see an airplane and wonder how these huge things get build — the Boeing Factory Tour is your answer, and it’s really awesome. We recently visited the Boeing future of flight museum and also took the Boeing factory tour. It was an amazing experience. The guides are super friendly and shared lot of cool facts and interesting stuff. Although the no-photos rule is a bummer, but honestly, it helped us experience this instead of getting distracted with your phone. We have to leave our phones, cameras and bags either in our cars or store it in an onsite locker. This tour is watching a presentation, then taking a tour bus, then a little bit of walking, a little bit of jaw-dropping “wow,” and a lot of “I can’t believe they actually build these things here.” I would recommend booking the tickets in advance , the tour usually takes an hour and half and takes you inside the world’s largest building by volume, where Boeing assembles their popular models like 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner. This is the location where most of the Boeing 747s ( Queen of the skies) were built and took off from. Walking along the elevated platforms gives us an incredible overhead view of these aircraft in different stages of construction. The overall tour was very well organized, ran smoothly and on time and moved at a good pace. After the tour you can also visit the future of flight museum, it has many interesting exhibits and STEM related activities. The Boeing store has variety of merchandise and clothing that are reasonably priced, it’s a good place to buy gifts and souvenirs for family members. They also have a decent cafeteria where we can enjoy some food and snacks . We really had a unique and memorable experience. This is a fun experience for all. It is totally worth it !

The tour is more about the manufacturing process and facilities. It is very interesting to see the largest building and the system. Inside the centre there is a small movie theatre and some models for display. It’s very interesting to watch planes flying around and landing from the deck. There are gift shop and snacks centre as well. Washrooms are good.

Oh wow - this is awesome for aviation freaks! Honestly: We were a group of 5 boys and we did our trip from Europe to Seattle (via. Vancouver) in Oct.2025 just because of this: Boeing production visit in Seattle, WA I would do it again!! We did the 90‘ tour and the museum downstairs and don‘t forget the terrasse upstaires! Just awesome!

If you're interested in aviation, this 80-minute airplane manufacturer tour is an absolute must-do – it's truly the best of its kind. The amount of information and history you absorb is impressive. A standout moment for me was learning that every single one of the 1,574 Boeing 747s ever produced originated at this very facility and was then transported across the bridge we drove over for its paint job. That detail evoked such wonderful nostalgia for the 'Queen of the Skies.' While Boeing has faced its share of issues, the enduring legacy and widespread affection for the 747 are undeniable; it's a truly remarkable and successful aircraft.

Previously visited in 2017 but failed to write a review. Back then had a great time learning about the history of flight, with some amazing facts, like the many bakeries inside the factory, Peet's Coffee shops (Starbucks lost the account because they wanted their huge banner with their name on it), flower shops, multiple restaurants, gym, massage parlor, medical bays, postal services - it's a small city in there. The Everett factory employs 30,000 people alone, with other branches internationally. This factory is hailed as the world's largest building in the world by volume, and touring it again was fascinating, although I will say our guide in 2017 was more entertaining and was a better storyteller. I actually learned a lot on my own online reading the history of the place than on this recent tour, but it was still pretty neat to see a working factory building enormous airplanes. PARKING: Free parking in the large open-air lot. LOCKERS: you cannot take your phone or purse on the factory tour, there are some clear lockers outside you can put your things in. If you have a large backpack, there are large lockers, but it was annoying to see someone put a tiny purse in the largest locker when there were smaller sized lockers available, but you know, people. Lockers were free of charge. COURSE OF THE TOUR: You watch a video before you walk out of the theater, then onto a tour bus. You have to be able to get on/off the bus stairs, it's not a wheelchair-friendly tour. The bus takes you to a hangar, where you take an elevator down into the depths to the miles of tunnels, then back up to the factory, where you can watch planes being built in sections. After the tour, the bus takes you back to the main entrance. Tour lasts about 90 minutes, if even. The nice thing about the tour is even if you are last off the bus or at the end of the crowd, the order gets reversed when you get onto an elevator, then you get out first, so even if you are in the back of the pack, you will always get to see the planes or be near the guide as the groups are pretty small, about 15. Get there on time, pronto. Not a minute late. They are not kidding. We got there right on the minute, then they turned the lights off in the theater and we were stumbling around in the dark trying to find our seats. COST/BOOKING: Make reservations online through their website or call them. If you don't book in advance, the tour may be sold out as it's pretty popular - it's possible to change your time if you call in person, like we did. Our price with a discount/promo was $33.00 a person as of May 2025. We didn't need to tip our guide as we weren't allowed to bring our purses (whoohoo - I say whoohoo because we were tipped to death on our cruise out of Seattle, so pretty much broke). SHOPPING: gift shop with all sorts of airplane-related things, including Lego sets. IS IT WORTHY OF A REPEAT VISIT? Since I've been there twice, I'd say no, but if you are taking out-of-towners or people who have not been there before, or someone who loves planes or factories, then yes. If you get a good guide like I did in 2017 it makes you want to go back (as I have, thinking it would be the same) but on this tour, not so much but still a unique tour nonetheless.

The route to get to the location is lushes green, full of stunning trees and more when you get there. Enjoy!!!

An incredible bang for the effort! Paved walkway to the upper decks with accessible parking, both free and paid parking. If you want to go closer. You can hike to the bottom or park in the lower parking lot to see the lower falls. They were raging hard when I was there!

This is a very beautiful waterfall. The view is stunning. There is both free and paid parking. ADA parking is all free, and there are avcessible ramps. Drones are not allowed, but there are plenty of photo opportunities. I highly recommend it for kids and families. There are also rest rooms and some nice walking trails.

Snoqualmie Falls is a stunning and easily accessible waterfall, perfect for anyone looking for natural beauty without a long hike. It’s only about an hour’s drive from Seattle, and you can enjoy an incredible view right from the main viewpoint. The area is very visitor-friendly, with a café, a gift shop, and both free and paid parking options. For those who want to explore more, there are walking paths and a trail that leads down closer to the river. Restrooms are available on-site. Highly recommended for a quick getaway, family trip.

We drove up there at night, and it was really pretty. The white falls were very visible against the darkness around it, and the lights around the Lodge helped with that.

The view is very nice. There are enough spaces to park. The fall is impressive, and we can see rainbow. The trail is interesting with different plants. The trees are interesting. Nice trip. There are some introductions of the hydropower system and the history of Indian culture.

Very cool attraction and the staff moves people on and off the elevators very efficiently. We happen to go on a beautiful afternoon at 5:30pm and saw a gorgeous sunset. It you have a fear of heights, this may not be for you. The elevator and floors at the top are glass! The view of Mt. Rainier was spectacular.

As someone who used the military discount, my ticket was $44, which made the admission a little more manageable compared to the standard price. Once you get to the top, the views are absolutely incredible—you can see the whole city, Mt. Rainier, and Puget Sound on a clear day. That said, it can get pretty crowded at the observation deck, so be prepared for some waiting and limited space during busy times. Visiting the Space Needle in Seattle was an incredible experience and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. We came on a foggy day, but the views were still amazing the skyline, the water, and all the buildings looked unreal from the top. The rotating glass floor is something you have to try. Standing on it and looking straight down is a feeling you can’t get anywhere else. The Space Needle is clean, well-run, and worth the price for anyone visiting Seattle. The staff was friendly, the lines moved fast, and the entire observation deck felt modern and safe. Whether it’s your first time in Seattle or you’ve lived here your whole life, the Space Needle gives you a completely different view of the city. If you’re looking for top things to do in Seattle, the Space Needle is absolutely a must-see. The views, the height, the rotating floor, and the photos you can take here are unbeatable. Our pictures came out beautiful even with the clouds and the whole experience makes you understand why this is one of the most famous attractions in Washington. Highly recommend visiting if you want stunning Seattle views, amazing photos, and a unique experience you won’t get anywhere else.

We had a very fun time going up. The view is spectacular. We talked about going up the newer, taller observation deck, but it was sold out, so we did the Space Needle. I was glad we did, it's set apart from the other tall buildings so I think you probably get a more interesting view. Plus it's iconic. I thought the rotating floor was fun. I would recommend reserving a time slot in advance. We went during the week in the morning and it wasn't too busy.

We checked this place out for sunset recently and had a great visit. The timeline of events leading up to the opening of the Space Needle as you wait in line for the elevator is pretty cool. The elevator ride to the top is quick, but offers great views. The employee riding with us was informative and funny. The views from the top are spectacular. We unfortunately didn’t have the best view of Mt. Rainier on this visit, but you could see a silhouette in the distance. It was a beautiful sunset that day and well worth the trip. Highly recommend.

We were a party of 4 adults and visited on a Thursday morning at 11 am. We all had a great experience and enjoyed our visit . Everyone should go once. They offer a military discount , but those tickets can only be purchased in person. The process to buy tickets and enter is easy. Grounds and interior spotless. The elevator ride to the top of the Space Needle is so fast we really didn’t see the city as we rode up. I felt there were too many people in the elevator at once. The views are spectacular and lots of seating inside and outdoors. There is a casual cafe and bar at the top. There’s not anything to do except walk around, look at the views, take pictures, buy snacks and drinks. We were done with our visit in 45 minutes , but stretched it to 90 minutes by buying drinks and sitting down and talking. There is a very expensive Resturant ($100 per person) at the top and we’d like to visit that at night on a special occasion. The gift shop is very nice .

The Space Needle is an absolute must-visit landmark in Seattle! The views from the top are breathtaking—you can see Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, the downtown skyline, and even the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges on a clear day. The glass floors and floor-to-ceiling windows make the experience feel modern and thrilling, and the rotating glass floor adds a really unique touch. The elevators are fast, the staff are friendly, and the exhibits inside give a great bit of history about the 1962 World’s Fair. It can get crowded, so it’s best to go early or at sunset for the best views and photos. A little pricey, but totally worth it for such an iconic Seattle experience!

We visited Chihuly Garden and Glass right after our trip up the Seattle Space Needle, and the convenience can't be beaten. The two attractions are located very close to each other, making it a perfect combo for a day at the Seattle Center. From the moment we stepped inside, I was totally astonished. The artwork displayed, made entirely from glass, is beyond impressive. The vibrant colors, the organic shapes, the dramatic lighting, and the massive, complex formations all combined to form a constant "wow" factor in every single room. It feels like walking through a magical, otherworldly garden. Be aware that it is a compact museum, so I can easily imagine how crowded the indoor galleries can get during peak busy seasons. We were there in October and found the conditions perfect—the crowds were manageable and the weather was ideal. Speaking of weather, the outdoor garden area is absolutely beautiful, with the glass sculptures intertwined with natural foliage. However, I do think anyone visiting in the summer might have a hard time enduring the heat there, as it's quite exposed. Our autumn visit provided the perfect climate to enjoy both the intricate indoor exhibits and the beautiful garden setting at a leisurely pace. A must-see for art lovers, but timing your visit can make all the difference.

It took us less than an hour to walk through, but every display was stunning and full of detail. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. The air felt spotless and there was no dust on or around the glass pieces, which was amazing to see. Outside, there was live glass blowing, and they were making vases while explaining the process. It was fascinating to watch, and the artists were great at interacting with the audience and answering questions. Overall, it was a short visit but very memorable and worth seeing.

This is a must stop when you’re in Seattle. You see some beautiful amazing glass art and there’s a beautiful garden outside that you can relax and enjoy. The garden is unique because it’s a combination of nature with glass art. I also truly enjoyed seeing the art made live. The artist was also explained the process, which was very educational. The souvenirs at the gift shop are beautiful but overpriced. I am so glad we just went before the time on our ticket because the glasshouse was closing at the time of our reservation due to a private event. They did not tell us this when we were purchasing the tickets online and I believe we paid the same price. Thankfully, we got there early and was able to see it. We also enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar there, where the service was great. This is definitely a great museum to see when you’re in Seattle.

The Chihuly Garden and Glass is absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful and unique attractions in Seattle! Every exhibit is a masterpiece of color, light, and imagination. The glass sculptures are breathtaking, from the intricate indoor installations to the vibrant pieces displayed among the gardens. The Glasshouse itself, with its massive hanging sculpture and view of the Space Needle through the glass ceiling, is simply spectacular. The layout is easy to navigate, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the gift shop is filled with beautiful keepsakes. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for something inspiring and peaceful, this is a must-see experience that captures the creativity and magic of Dale Chihuly’s work.

This place is absolutely stunning. We bought a combined ticket to visit the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, which worked really well. The glass artwork is incredible - so intricate, colourful and creative. The exhibition showcases the unique style of Dale Chihuly, with both indoor galleries and outdoor garden installations that make it a truly immersive experience. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art and design.

Don’t miss!!!! What a stunning museum. The art is vibrant and mesmerizing. Video was worth watching to learn more about Chuhily’s methods, history and passion for glass blowing. Take your time and wander through. The shop is delightful. Bought a piece woot!

Amazing pieces. Seattle location has been on my list after visiting the St Pete location. The glass house and garden was gorgeous as well and enjoyed watching his work in the theatre. I watched the live glass blowing as well and it was so fun to watch. The bar was so cute with all his collections showcased. My only thing was I paid $20 for what tasted like a $6 happy hour premade margarita. Cocktail bars are cheaper and they are handcrafted. Regardless, the bartender and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend checking this museum out

I am shocked by the sheer amount of single use plastic being sold on board your ferries. What a negligent display of cognitive dissonance. By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish—and yet for your water-dependent business you profit off of…all this?? We can and must do better. You could start by switching to aluminum canned water (infinitely recyclable) and phasing out single use plastics like these, completely. Your customer base is a captive audience—give them better, more dignified options. No more polluting the very ecosystems you operate within. Thank you for considering my feedback.

Great way to explore, drive onto Ferries and go check out the islands, also if you’re lucky you can see orca’s.

We really enjoy the Alki bakery items and soft pretzels offered on the ferries! For me, a good IPA is so good with the pretzels. The hot dogs and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good, too. Staff are also friendly and provide good service. Thanks and keep it up!

Disappointed in the front staff experience. During my recent ferry trip, the older white woman working at the front with the tickets was extremely unprofessional. She addressed my partner with friendliness — calling him “babe” — but said absolutely nothing to me, even though I was standing right there. It felt dismissive and low-key disrespectful. It’s 2025, and basic courtesy shouldn’t be selective based on who you are. Do better. This kind of behavior makes women feel invisible and uncomfortable — especially in mixed-race couples. I expected more.

The staff who help cars load on our ferries surely deserve a hearty shout out. They are incredibly effective at non verbal communicating: signaling clearly and emphatically what we need to do, especially those of us who are new to riding ferries. They give you plenty of heads up to get back to your car. Though a little extra time is always advisable if you’re on a particularly large ferry and don’t know the layout. A great place to visit but I skipped the food experience because of the lines! I loved walking through the alleys and especially the flowers! The market was buzzing with food, culture and my favorite sight: seafood! Everybody seemed nice and know customer service! Not too expensive while I was browsing and the walk to the overlook way was a plus! I loved that while you walk to the market you can see through the lake!

We were visiting Seattle from Nashville for business and had a few free hours to be tourists. Several people suggested we check out Pike Place Fish Market, and it was an amazing experience! The weather was fantastic, and the atmosphere felt a bit like a lively, open-air flea market — full of unique shops and friendly vendors. Everyone we met was so kind and welcoming. We sampled honey, jellies, olive oils, fruits, and even fish! Everything was so fresh and delicious. We couldn’t resist buying several of the local goodies to take home. The hot cider was especially good and perfect for sipping as we wandered through the market. We even got to experience them yelling and throwing fish around which I suppose is special to the market. If you’re visiting Seattle, we definitely recommend stopping by Pike Place Market. It was the perfect way to spend a few free hours and made our short trip feel extra special!

Great show. Brought king crabs legs with them shipped to California for overnight ship so perfectly. I purchased on Tuesday noon and Box arrived Wednesday 10AM next business day $69 cost for overnight shipping and crabs $99 per pound. I got 2 kind of crabs $380 for 4 pound. Amazing staff all of them super nice and friendly. Very good experience. If you guys want to ships crabs or seafood for your family you can try. Highly recommended and I definitely come back.

A unique experience in an iconic location, the sights, smells and overall vibe was outstanding. As a tourist you get a rare opportunity to feel local while walking through the market with all the hustle and bustle. Definitely worth the stop, though I would highly recommend using the restroom either before or after visiting Pikes Place as the lines to enter the few public restrooms were insanely long.

This was a very cool attraction in Seattle! It’s very packed but I loved the smell of fresh produce and sea food. Lots of places to see around the market with plenty of vendors to check out. There’s also a little alley directly next to the market where people have been putting up gum on the walls for year. It’s another popular attraction in the area and the city makes sure to keep it checked before it gets too messy! If you’re visiting Seattle I would recommend this market for sure in your itinerary.

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma is a unique experience! One of the highlights is watching glassblowing in action inside the Hot Shop. The demonstrations are narrated by an emcee, with plenty of explanations and even some Q&A, so you actually learn while being entertained. They also feature stunning works by Dale Chihuly, which are worth the trip on their own. Admission is $22, and the gift shop is full of gorgeous glass blown pieces that make great souvenirs. If you’re short on time, this is a doable stop, it’s a relatively small museum and you can probably breeze through the exhibits in about an hour or two. Don’t miss the outdoor glass sculptures, which is a prominent piece of outdoor art at the Museum of Glass. They’re striking and make for a great photo op with the waterfront in the background

Fabulous glass museum with reasonable parking right underneath the museum. Loved the hot shop demo though could have used better narration. Exhibits were small though super high quality and well curated. The design of the building with all the light coming in added to an awesome experience. Liked the fountain outside. Well worth waking up the steps to visit the bridge of glass across to Union Station which is now a courthouse with beautiful Chihuly pieces. It’s free to get into Union station after showing your ID. Museum of Glass is well worth a visit and has fabulous pieces and a great gift shop. The alley exhibit with kids pieces is so worth a visit as well.

I just visited the Museum of Glass, and wow, it completely exceeded my expectations! Everyone always talks about the Hot Shop, and now I totally get it. Watching those glassblowers work was absolutely mesmerizing – seeing them transform molten glass with such precision and artistry was truly incredible. I could have spent hours just captivated by that. Beyond the demonstrations, the entire museum is a feast for the eyes. The current exhibitions were fantastic, showcasing such a diverse range of contemporary glass art from various artists. I particularly loved how the light played off the pieces, creating these ever-changing reflections. And the building itself, with its unique cone structure and the beautiful Chihuly Bridge of Glass, is an artwork in its own right. It’s such a well-designed space that really complements the art. Plus, I found the interactive elements and educational displays surprisingly engaging. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone, whether you're an art enthusiast or just looking for something fascinating and visually stunning to do.

We were concerned that the museum would be as nice because of the art fest but even with loads of people there it didn't feel crowded. We enjoyed the glass blowing exhibition. Loved walking the bridge and enjoying the Chihuly pieces enclosed across the highway. The galleries were filled with amazing sculptures and vases. Just beautiful!

This was a great place to go to. We popped into the show room to watch some art being created. It was really hot and it was a hot day in June. We walked the gallery and enjoyed the art work. The cafe food was a bit pricey. We decided to eat somewhere else. Nice clean, and quiet The kids were not so entertained.

Good variety of artists, and quite a few pieces that I genuinely liked! The hallway to the restrooms featured works prompted by kid's sketched proposals, and it was delightful! Parking was ok too.

Stunning stand alone mountain! The height and massiveness is quite something. You can also see other mountain ranges if you choose to hike. We visited in June and the rangers recommended to hike Alta Vista only. The snow was plenty and just started to melt - but nothing dangerous on that trail. The Skyline trail, on the other hand, is not advised. If you are looking for free camping spots take the Skate Creek Road Turnoff to NF-52. Continue that road until you see signs that you are allowed for dispersed camping. There are plenty of spots but our favorite is shared here. Just be prepared for mosquitos. Do not show up Friday evening or late weekend or you'll have to wait in line to enter the national park.

Absolutely stunning, must do activity if you’re visiting Seattle or Washington state in general. There are so many wonderful trails to take throughout the mountain but my recommendation is the sky ridge trail. Breathtaking views that are always treat for your eyes and calms your mind.

Absolutely stunning views. This is a very popular location so plan to come early and expect to see other people. I enjoyed the Skyline Loop, Golden Gate, part of Carter’s Falls Trail, and part of Twin Firs Trail.

Went on an adventure and had to check this place out, it was having earthquake swarms at the time 7/13/25 . Absolutely beautiful mountain and hard to believe it's a sleeping Volcano.. definitely worth checking out for yourself if you're in the area.. It's amazing how it just towers above everything else in the skyline..

Absolutely FANTASTIC directions and a totally AMAZING park!! If you've never been, you should definitely take a road trip.. see America in all of it's beauty.. and take on Mt. Ranier! There are breathtaking views along the route, from the entrance all the way up to the parking area at the base of the volcano. Parking can be a little tedious, but if you're patient (as we were) a space will open up. There's also parking along the road allowed in areas. At the main parking area on the Skyline trail side, there are bathrooms and a gift shop available. If you decide to hike up the trails, be prepared! Some of the inclines are a little steep and the air gets a bit thin. Take your time, enjoy the natural beauty, and sip on some water that you'll have to take along. There are a few benches to rest on along the trail. Mount Ranier offers some truly amazing, beautiful, and breathtaking views that seem to go on for forever.

Highly recommended for casual hikes. Trails were generally accessible in summer, and great for hikes or jogs. Difficult to get parking if you get here by late mornings, but the trails were not too overcrowded. Longest hikes are still manageable for a day hike, just bring enough water to hydrate. Fantastic views with fresh air. Would return if nearby, and worth the drive if you can spend a full day hiking. Food is expensive at the tourist centre and edible if you're starving, so best to pack your own healthy food along.

Absolutely beautiful. The Visitor Center has basic amenities, and theres a restaurant & coffee stand as well. You can walk/hike as far as you want, path is clearly paved and is suitable for all ages, depending on where you stop. Would definitely recommend visiting!

Beautiful waterfalls and views are amazing. I went on a very rainy Saturday in November. Multnomah Falls was very busy and you had to pay to park. The rest of the falls had very few people around them and plenty of parking.

Absolutely stunning. Recommend going earlier in the morning to avoid the crowds. Especially if you plan on going on the hikes, the trails can be quiet narrow and points without guard rails on the hike to the lookout point. Bring non slip shoes, the trails can be slippery with the moisture and leave litter.

Totally worth it! However parking was at a premium! We finally found parking at the Horsetail Waterfall. This is an easier and shorter hike. Very enjoyable. Stunning views!

Wahclella Falls Trail was a fantastic easier hike. Pretty rocky with some cliffs and a few steep sections but overall not bad. Multnomah falls were definitely worth checking out too, Great accessibility there.

Amazing hike with beautiful views! This was a steep hike with sort of a paved walk way. There were 2 routes we saw up top, but considering this was an unplanned hike we stayed on the paved side and made it to the top of the waterfall! It rained a bit and that made the ground bit slippery if you aren't wearing the right shoes. P.S. don't forget to bring your water!!

It's one of the most filmographic and mystical places I've ever seen. You absolutely must see it. There are many waterfalls in this area, but the weather here is incredible. Inside, there's a lovely gift shop and a small area for coffee and other things. There's a 0.2-mile path leading to the bridge. But there are also routes for longer walks. But I want to warn you about parking. Finding a parking spot in the parking area right in front of the waterfall is very, very difficult. I thought I wouldn't be able to stop, but on the map, I saw a parking lot across the road, so I went there. But you have to drive 5 miles :)) This park is large and free. After parking, you can access it immediately by crossing an underpass.

What a beautiful place. The hike up to the top was great. *Be aware of the possibility of slipping on the trail. You should wear good outdoor shoes. Other people made it up with regular shoes. *Dogs are allowed on the trail🙌🏽 To end the hike, you will have coffee and or food available. Or before you start. Overall we had a great time. Side note: For those who visit, you should be cognizant of others trying to get through the bridge. It is a beautiful site for photos, but you shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes due to the cluster of people. Maybe take a few and come back. Ok enjoy.

Seeing the falls in all their might after two days of rain was an awe-inspiring experience. I would recommend doing the 5.5 mile loop that invludes several smaller falls up the mountain.

Great place to stop for a break or to enjoy a nature walk. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop before or after your walk and a gift shop. Walk is no more than a mile to enjoy the water fall. There is a longer hike if you want more adventure.

The sheer power and beauty of the water cascading down are mesmerizing. It is overwhelmingly considered a stunning, must-see natural wonder that lives up to its iconic status. The awe-inspiring 620-foot, two-tiered cascade and its lush Pacific Northwest surroundings are often described as picturesque and majestic. The view from the primary viewing area, a short, flat walk from the parking lot, offers the best overall photo opportunity of the entire falls and the iconic Benson Footbridge. This makes it accessible for all mobility levels. The location right off Interstate 84 (I-84) makes it an easy day trip from Portland, which is about a 30-35 minute drive away. The historic Multnomah Falls Lodge at the base provides restrooms, a gift shop, a snack bar, and a restaurant, making it a convenient stop. Wear appropriate footwear with good traction, as the paved trails can be steep, wet, and uneven. Bringing a windbreaker or rain jacket is also a good idea due to the constant mist near the falls. It's a must-see if you ever get the chance to visit!

1 hour away from portland this is a great spot for a quick hike and to experience nature. Just don't stop at the bridge (where most of the tourist stops) but go beyond to the very top.

It is peaceful and beautiful to walk in nature. I learned there is a 9-11 tribute rose. The variety is amazing. I came in late October when the smell wasn't so strong. Many flowers were hanging on their last breath. But it was a nice cloudy day and I enjoyed walked the park alone. They have a few trails you can walk but I wasn't properly dressed. Had I known I would have brought running shoes.

We had such an amazing time walking around and seeing/smelling the Rose Test Garden! I highly recommend timing your visit so you can join the free tour that begins at the gift shop. It is really lovely and points out historical facts about the garden and the different roses there. The gift shop is small, but has some great things in there. You'll do quite a bit of walking in the Rose Test Garden, so make sure you're wearing comfortable shoes! Parking can be tricky, but be patient and a spot will open up.

first time visit with my friends and we really enjoyed our time- i think we just walked around smelling and admiring the roses for at least an hour and a half. i had no idea there were so many kinds of roses. it is so well maintained and beautiful with a rich history and a staple of portland. please visit! be sure to check if you will be there when the roses are blooming. we were there in early october and there were still plenty of beautiful roses to see

What an incredible garden to stroll around and be amazed at the variety of roses with every turn. I went 10/28/25, so it was fall season and the leaves on the trees brought magic to this oasis on top of the hill. I spent more time venturing over to the Sacajawea Statue, Lewis & Clark column, then over to Coming of the White Man Statue and through the Holocaust area. If you are looking for a place of solitude and serene views, then check this park out.

Went exploring and car across this place. It was amazing. The flowers were still in bloom even though we went pretty late in the season. Very clean and it smelled so wonderful. Will definitely be making this one of my regular walks

Wow. I’ve been to quite a few rose gardens and none are this large. Even in late Oct there were still lots of blooms. I can’t imagine the smell in summer. Plan for at least an hour if you want to see the whole thing. We loved stopping and smelling the roses 🥰

This place was great and so pretty. Out of the hundreds, I mean hundreds of roses I saw there wasn't one blue one....a bit disappointed. Lol Steady amount of people enjoying the day. Parking I'd say wasn't hard to find but it wasn't easy either. Nice day people can be the all day. The parking price wasn't bad in my opinion, considering where I come from and pay to park. Well kept up and beautiful.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful. Very well maintained and clean, including the restrooms. There are many photo ops all around the grounds with a fantastic view of Portland with Mt. Hood in the background. There are memberships available for single and multiple on line and at the window and gift shop. If you purchase from the gift shop your entry fee is refunded and it affords you entry for a year and a 20% discount in the gift shop. It's definitely worth the trip. My only issue was with the parking. Not great but there is a free shuttle that goes around.

Fantastic visit to this Japanese garden. Our first time visiting Oregon from the UK and thiz was high one our list of things to see - and it didnt disappoint. The planting, pathways and structures looked fantastic. It was busy but not overly so and everything was well maintained. Food in the cafe was great as well. Plenty of nearby car parking and short queues to enter.

This is such an amazing and magical place. We visited during the fall and were blessed with beautiful fall foliage. Be sure to get the earliest timed entry tickets and arrive 30 minutes before opening to ensure you get parking. The first 5 minutes is a slight incline, but the rest of the gardens are relatively flat. Go, you won’t be disappointed. Are,sure you get timed entry

Breathtaking Gardens, But Be Prepared for the Wait We visited the Portland Japanese Garden about a week ago—absolutely stunning this time of year. The colors were unreal, and we couldn’t have timed our visit better. Every turn of the path was like stepping into a painting: moss-covered stones, fiery red maples, and soft autumn light filtering through the trees. Unfortunately, our experience started off on the wrong foot. We had an 11:15 a.m. tour booked and arrived an hour early, paid for parking, and went to get our tickets—only to be told there was a two-hour wait to enter. The website hadn’t mentioned this possibility, so our only choices were to wait around for two hours or leave, come back later, and pay for parking again. The staff seemed well-prepared for this kind of situation, which tells me it’s a common issue, but it would make a huge difference if visitors were better informed ahead of time. Thankfully, our visit happened on a Bank of America “Museums on Us” day, so admission was free, which softened the blow. Once inside, the frustration faded away—these gardens truly deserve five stars. But the lack of clear communication at the start left a disappointing first impression. Go for the beauty, but plan ahead for crowds and wait times.

Second time visiting the Japanese Gardens and was just as blown away by it's beauty, as was the first time. 1 almost didn't get the chance to visit, however, I thought I would walk around before catching my flight back to SoCal. It was a Sunday and arrived right before opening and there was already a massive line to get in. You can get tickets beforehand and 1 highly recommend doing so because it fills up quickly! Since was pressed for time, I decided to purchase a membership and bypass the 2.5 hour wait time and 1 am so glad 1 did! (Quick side-note if you have a membership you can access the gardens at 8 a.m., 2 hours before the general public and for the photographers out there this is an ideal time to capture images without having volumes of people walking into your frame...additionally tripods are allowed for a minimal cost). Walking around the gardens is absolutely breathtaking and especially going in the fall when the autumn colors are in full swing! You can literally spend a good half day here as there is so much to take in and 1 do recommend allowing for at least a few hours at a minimum.

It’s a good garden and well maintained. The Japanese theme has been carefully curated and does match actual Japanese gardens we’ve seen quite well. Truly could be a thoughtful and quiet place for people. The buildings and facilities match in well. Good use of wood in the architecture. The only thing that put us off was the price. Did feel steep for adults. The area can feel quite small and constraining when a large number of people visit. Yes they try to manage a steady throughput but it has its busy areas.

A beautiful place with amazing history. Amazing bonsai. Fantastic water features. Lovely resting places. Clean. Peaceful. Definitely recommend getting the membership. With a membership you can go before and after public hours. Visit during special moments, or get notified of special moments. The staff are friendly. The location is reasonably handicap accessible for the most part. Near the International Rose Test Gardens; an awesome duo trip if you have time. Nice little cafe with fancy treats and tea. Nifty place to stop after walking around. The gift shop is cute. The art galleries and learning experiences are really fun as well.

Very well done flight museum! Definitely rivals the one in DC. Fantastic collection including the Spruce Goose, SR-71, F117, F-14, F-15, and many many more. We took 2-1/2 hours but felt slightly rushed to see everything. I recommend reserving a tour if you want to see the whole Goose, otherwise you just get to see the main level from the platform. My only critique is about half of the kids displays were out of order. I know it's a funding issue, but it's what allows the little breaks for the kids so the adults can experience the main points the museum has to offer.

I went about an hour before closing and it was more than enough time to see both the aviation and space museum. The tour guides were helpful and they will help you free of charge. It’s well kept as well and really cool. Plenty of parking and it’s a good walk between the two museums. Definitely recommend! Don’t go when there’s an air show across the street tho it added a couple hours to my trip lol.

We had the best time ever. All of the staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful and we learned a ton! The biggest shout out to the volunteer Sylvia, who went out of her way to ensure my kids had a blast. I highly recommend to any and all ages, you will leave knowing more about aviation than when you arrived.

One of my favorite museums I’ve visited. The goose was huge, every plane has interesting information about it, including how it was sourced which I found interesting. The info was very well curated and topical, with relevant ties to oregon when topical. Lots of friendly staff/volunteers around. The blackbird was also very cool to see. I would say 2 hours for the air section and 2 hours for the space section if you want to read everything. But could probably see everything in an hour if youre just peeking around and not reading much. Highly recommend though!

If you’re an aviation lover, this place is literally meant for you. Also, if you even have to ask or think about going to this place, they have the freaking spruce goose on display. It’s crazy to see how massive it is in person. Also, in the other building, they have an SR 71, F117 nighthawk and so many other cool planes on display. As an adult, I was a child admiring history, aviation, and so many cool airplanes all around. I highly highly recommend going out to this facility.

A nice afternoon with a really impressive collection of aircraft and memorabilia. There are tours of the inside of the Spruce goose which is actually made of birch but those are timed so that takes a little planning but if you are ok just seeing the rest it’s really a wonderful few hours! Play structure for the grand boy, theatre for 3D movies and flight sims for people e with a hardy constitution 😃

Always an amazing time walking through the aviation and space history! The volunteers are kind and interestes! They are knowledgeable and want to share stories! Such an amazing place and I hope that the nearby hotel will bring even more people to the museums!

Beautiful place! I like the hiking trails and lodge and nature gift shop. There’s a lot of waterfalls to see and lots miles of hiking available. Beautiful year-round. I like the winter best for the ice blast look from the waterfalls. Fall is wonderful as well.

This is a magnificent state park. With a variety of trails and plenty to see, this is a destination for the entire family. Whether it’s rainy or sunny the trails are perfect for an outing of any length. They are bathrooms in the park is clean and well-maintained. Parking can be a little tough so be patient.

First time at the Silver Falls State Park and I'm definitely going back. This park is huge and filled with waterfalls. And the hiking paths are well defined and well maintained. You do pay for parking but once you start your hike you will understand why. Bring a water bottle I originally was going to hike 2 miles I ended up doing 6 miles. Totally worth it.

An absolute gem that needs to be reserved until the end of time. We went in late October to see the colors and it was amazing. Wind storm was coming in and they were promptly working to clear the roads. The rain and wind gave us the chance to have south falls to ourselves and we captured some amazing images. Truly breathtaking scenery. Only my second visit and there is never enough time. South falls is definitely the prime waterfall experience any traveler could be seeking.

Crater Lake National Park is beautiful. The day I went to there with my family was a little crowded, but I suspect it probably gets worse on the weekend and around holidays. It is unfortunate that the Park Service has had to reduce staff at National Parks. I feel for the struggles this causes in maintaining, securing, and supporting the parks. There is a lot of parking, but it was almost all full when we were there. This particular park will be having a lot of renovation over the next few years until 2029 so we wanted to go before it got even more complicated.

Beautiful and unique place. When we arrived the foggy weather blocked our view of the lake. Important to note that even if the clouds are low it doesn't mean the whole lake is covered. We continued to drive and eventually found a great spot with perfect view.

Not easy to find. It has a sign of park store but I didn’t see any sign of visitor center. It feels like the parking is competitive at the beginning when you enter rim village but it has more parking space inside. It has shades and rest area beside the visitor center and water fountains at the other side. Overall, I would give 5 stars.

Crater Lake is a beautiful place to visit in Summer. But with a pet dog, it’s not a good choice to arrange the visit. We could only visit the paved area around Rim Village visitor center. Next time, hope we could return here in Winter to explore a different sightseeing of snow covered Crater Lake.

Amazing views of the lake from Rim Village. There is a overlook semi enclosed a short walk down from the main walkway along the rim. Great info plaques and views there.

A couple of helpful staff members inside answered questions about trails and whether we could get an official Crater Lake brochure. If you are curious, the funding to print those no longer exists. The other bummer about this visitor center is they were out of the artistic postcard featuring Crater Lake and only had ones with a guy on a bicycle. Annie's Creek gift shop had the good one.

Small visitor center with your usual visitor center items and stamps! Park rangers were friendly and amazing view points right outside the center. If it’s crowded it is tough to look around as it’s a small center.

Watched Into the Woods today and loved it. Beautiful production and acting of the cast was amazing. Came all the way from Sacramento to watch the show and loved every single minute of it.

Awesome stay at Chateau Herbe! Saw two fantastic plays at OSF as well. Ashland never disappoints!

Better than any local theater you'll ever be. These are Broadway performances and huge productions. You've got to get the chance to go and see this if you like live theater in any way. My husband and I visit Ashland a couple of times a year and always make seeing a play a must. This time we saw Shane (the fighting scenes were fantastic), The Merry Wives of Windsor (hilarious and delightfully cringey), and Quixote Nuevo (hands down the best show I’ve ever seen)—and we were absolutely blown away! Every production was incredible, and the theaters were beautiful and so comfortable. Truly an unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to return!

This place is so much fun, especially if you’re really into theater! I completely fell in love with it and highly recommend watching a play or show at night — when the lights come on, everything just comes to life. The actors are incredible — I had never seen a play before, but after my first one here, I absolutely fell in love. Even if you don’t fully understand Shakespeare or the old folklore language, you’ll still get it through the actors’ amazing expressions. I couldn’t believe how beautiful it all was — I was truly astonished! The only thing I’d say is that the concession stand prices are a bit high, so I recommend bringing your own water. Other than that, I adore this place — I’d go every day if I could!

Watched the Importance of being Earnest there. We had a great time! It’s surprisingly chilly inside so take a jacket with you.

Fantastic theatre in a beautiful setting. Three stages presenting a range of productions from Shakespeare to cutting edge modern playwrights. Some of the best acting and directing we have seen in the world (Shakespeare here is done better than productions we have seen at The Globe in London.) Even more amazing it that as the plays are done in repertory so you see the range of the talent of the extraordinary actors who come from all over the nation to perorm here. The town is a beautiful place to visit with excellent restaurants and accommodations in addition to a variety of outdoor activity options in the nearby forests and valleys.

Wonderful urban Park in the small town of Ashland. There are features of a typical park like grassy areas, picnic tables, and a playground. There are also multiple paths along the creek as well as some that go up the hill into a sunny Oak covered slope. There is even a free Japanese garden. Watch out you may lose cell phone service in the valley.

One of my favorite places to go to when I wind up in Southern Oregon. It is so peaceful, calming, relaxing and refreshing. It's just a great park to be in, and it's safe. Sometimes there is deer walking and eating about, and often times there are musicians performing their music, lots of space for walking, running, hiking and picnicking, it's an extremely pleasant place /park to be. Located in downtown Ashland, OR and within walking distance of shops, eateries and performance centers, it really is a nice park to have in that area.

Gorgeous any time of the year. The trail through the park has wood chips and is a good route for a fairly easy hike. The Japanese Garden, the creek, the duck ponds, and the foliage year-round is stunning. One of my favorite places to be!

Great park and beautiful walking trail along the creek, a must during the Fall. Parking can be a challenge during the weekends but you can find small parking lots along Granite St. they’re a little less crowded because everyone is mostly focused on the park’s main entrance.

What a Nice gem Ashland have. Miles of trails to be with nature yet you’re still in the city . Beautiful fall colors at its peak during my visit .

Absolutely beautiful and a must-see. True wonder of nature! We went and walked on the Grove of Titans trail, which is about two miles total. They ask that you stay on the trail (because your footsteps can damage the forest floor) and there are some raised metal walkways because of this. Though there’s a lot of roads and trails, it’s still a good idea to be prepared. There are countless areas where there’s no service, roads are dirt and are extremely narrow (but there are turnouts/shoulder areas where you can pass). BRING WATER AND SNACKS! It costs $8 per car if you park within fee areas. The parking lot by the Grove of Titans trailhead was free, and there’s a restroom there as well. Absolutely amazing. Even within five minutes of our hike, a deer walked across the pathway. Didn’t seem to mind humans. It’s worth a visit! Also, if you get the chance, visit the Smith River — the water looks like glass.

Absolutely surreal and euphoric! Walking among these ancient redwoods feels like stepping into another world. The towering trees, peaceful trails, and crystal clear Smith River make it a truly magical experience. Far less crowded than other parks; pure bliss.

Amazing in every way. I recommend doing the Boy Scout Tree trail first. It’s the longest, but well worth it. The trail has tons of roots and hiking boots would be preferable. The Boy Scout tree is easy to miss since it is off the trail. It’s on the right side of the trail before you get to the waterfall.

Lovely park. Great walking trails. Clean park and friendly checkin at the kiosk. It loses a star because the bathrooms and showers are gross. Shower takes 4 quarters for 2 min. of water. There is no change machine like there is at other State parks. The drain was clogged/slow and water filled up the entire changing area. Very muddy and dirty showers and bathroom stalls.

The drive into the park on Howland Hill Road, right up close and through the redwoods, is one of the best forest drives that exists. It becomes one lane at times, meaning you will need to coordinate if other cars are coming, but it is worth it as it is as it is close to the trees as you will ever get in car and helps preserves the immensity of the forest around you. Visit the park as early as possible to avoid seeing other cars and hikers. We went right at sunup and were one of the only ones there. We hiked the Grove of the Titans and Stout Grove and it is impossible to explain how amazing these old growth redwoods are to someone who hasn't seen them. Pictures can't really do them justice as they can't capture the feeling they invoke when you are really confronted with how massive they are. The park is well kept and the hikes we did were well marked and very peaceful in the early morning. The trails and drive out did get much busier with people and cars as the morning wore on. I thought the additions of the metal platforms and bridges on some of the trails was useful and did not take away from the surrounding nature. If they help preserve the undergrowth, I'm all for them. All in all, a great park to see the redwoods which should be on everyone's list of things to do.

Must see! Truly one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever been. The Redwoods are absolutely massive, and no photo can capture how incredible they are in person.

My mother and I visited in December, where we lucked out all week with little to no rain. This forest was the most magical I'd ever been in. Highly suggest entering off of Howland Hill Rd in the early morning. We were the only ones around for miles and the misty morning made us think we had entered another realm. I think about this day quite often and can't wait to take my daughter and husband one day.

The Trees of Mystery in Klamath is the perfect place to experience the Redwoods if you or your loved ones are not able to hike the area. Whether due a physical challenge, logistical confusion, or financial impediment. The trail is easy, the stairs and steeper areas are only a few steps in length so it's an easy breezy "walk in a park". The rope bridges are a cool engineering feat. Crossing them requires some faith in math, science, and good workmanship. The height of the bridges can feel dizzying, but what a rush - taking that first step on to a suspended rope bridge, then putting one foot in front of the other and making your way from one side to the other. I drove a long way for that and couldn't be happier that I did. I was a little skeptical about spending money for a "Tree Park" when there are miles and miles of Redwood forest surrounding you in that area of the area/state/continent/world. But I had visited when I was a kid in the late 70s. I was thrilled to get a GIANT yellow "TREES OF MYSTERY" sticker. I thought it was so cool but I couldn't tell you why! I took it with me as our family moved all over the world. For years it decorated my bedroom pushpin wallboard, and I remembered the giant Babe and Paul carvings. But the park didn't have the rope trail or the gondolas when I last visited and the tickets were SUPER reasonable. Almost like they WANT to teach people about the redwoods not just profit from it. So I had to go back and see how the old park was doing. It was worth every dollar. The price included the short gondola ride up the hillside AND the rope tree trail section. The gondola windows are pretty old and weathered so they're pretty difficult to see out, but you do get to go to a tree top deck. There are amazing views of the tree tops the hillside, and the ocean - and a great perspective on just how super-tall these trees grow. Don't leave without going into the gift shop and checking out the Native American history/anthropology museum. It's an enormous collection. Many items that I've never seen before. Building tools, household items, clothing, hunting equipment...a great way to immerse yourself in what life might have been like for long ago inhabitants of the coastal forest area. I took waaasy too long picking out another ridiculous looking sticker from the gift shop but my campervan has a little sticker wall and it seemed like something I had to do. If you've got an hour or two, take the time to stop here!! I planned my road trip around it.... WHAT CAN I SAY? I'M A FAN!

Spent several hours wandering around this amazing property. The trees do not disappoint. The sky bridge was great, made me a little dizzy but definitely worth it. The tram offered good views. I would reccomend taking it back down rather than the mile long hike as it was very steep and slippery. Don't skip the museum, the amount and types of artifacts is definitely worth the time.

Fun Place. The sky tram was closed, but the tree canopy trail was super fun. Lots of cool trees and carved wood figures throughout the park. The giant Paul Bunyan and Babe the blue Ox were awesome. Cool place overall. Fun experience.

We loved our time at Trees of Mystery! The $30 pp seemed steep, but it really includes everything in the park and you can stay as long as you’d like. We saw pretty much everything in a couple hours, including the gondola and bridges. We loved the stories and history on the trees, and the Paul Bunyan carvings were fun. Lots of photo ops and I’d say very kid friendly. I appreciate that we didn’t have to sit in the gondola with strangers and just enjoyed it by ourselves. Huge beautiful old trees to appreciate. It wasn’t too busy on a Monday morning.

As a family we have passed by too many times to count, usually stopping for a photo op with Paul Bunyan & Babe. On this pass we decided to stop and finally do the Trees of Mystery and we are so glad we did! It was pouring rain when we arrived then stopped abruptly and stayed at bay until we finished our tour, it was our lucky day! The trail through the forest is absolutely stunning and will take your breath away so many times! The Canopy Trail, up in the trees and across rope bridges was a special experience and completely unexpected! We stood on each platform and just marveled at the views and the forest below. There's also a little nature center to learn more, several special trees including the Brotherhood tree and Cathedral tree with most everything labeled nicely with some also having a bit of the history. The Skytrail gondola ride leads to breathtaking views and the opportunity for a rougher hike for the adventurous! Then, just when we thought we were done, the carved sculptures started and kept us giggling all the way to the end! This tour is a must for anybody passing by!

Great time, loved the gondola and sky walk. Interesting info. Nice walk through forested areas, nice little shop that had decent prices. Overall was very enjoyable. Would recommend it.

There is so many wonderful things to do as a a family here. There is the sky walk , interpretive trails, and the sky trail ride that takes you to the top of the mountain for a spectacular view of the area. The walk through the attraction is mostly uphill but offered seating areas to rest. If you are wheelchair-bound or have severe mobility issues I do not recommend the trail through, however they do have a shuttle that will take you to the sky Trail so you can still enjoy some of the attractions. It took us about an hour and a half to get through . It was really fun and we would go again.

Beautiful place to just sit and relax. The river flowing below has a wide bank and feels magical with the water stream resembling raindrops on the surface. It's pretty cool on a summer evening. Lots of people (not overcrowded) and friendly families around. The car park is extremely close, so it's not much of a hassle to walk it up.

Do visit this place if you visit Redding. The whole bridge is lit up at night making it a surreal experience. They also have bikes and scooters that you can rent. Bike rentals felt cheaper than the scooters. Many scenic trails besides the river. So take your time and have fun exploring the place. Sunday they had the farmers market setup.

This cool, architectural wonder in Redding is at Turtle Bay Exploration Park is super cool. Use the QR code at the beginning for an audio guided tour with lots of cool information as you walk across. On the other side is an Arboretum and Botanical garden. The audio tour says that the bridge is lit up at night... how cool is that!

The Sundial Bridge is a beautiful spot with a great view of the water. It’s a relaxing place to walk, and there’s plenty for kids to enjoy. The nearby museum and park make it even better, offering both fun and learning opportunities. A wonderful place for a family outing. After parking there is a nice river and picnic area as well but it’s not clean space while I visited,this area isn’t connected to the bridge so not to worry!

A must visit place in Redding CA. The city has done an amazing job if constructing a unique educational piece of marvel. Enjoy the gorgeous views of sunset over Sacramento river. The majestic size of sundial is a landmark if Redding.

The Redding Sundial Bridge is a magnificent engineering masterpiece. It is the largest working sundial in the world that is most accurate during the solstices and its shadow accurately tracks time daily from approximately 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The Sundial Bridge was designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava. The walkway has stunning views of the Sacramento River with all its wildlife and spectacular scenic views of the mountains.

Very beautiful bridge day and nite. The only down side was there isn't much other things to do around, which makes our driving distance of about 4 hours each way not really worth it. I'd say it's a great attraction if you live closer or if you are on the way to somewhere else on a road trip, or here for hiking or rafting. The hotel right next to it is not worth it's value. I would recommend to stay a little further and save some money. The only value of it was the walking distance to the bridge. (Star did not deduct for this cause the main review was for the attraction)

We visited the railway museum right when it opened and were warmly greeted by the staff as they opened the doors. The ticket prices are quite affordable, and the museum itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff and volunteers were friendly and knowledgeable — they took time to explain the history and details of the trains on display. The museum features a wide variety of train exhibits, and there’s even a dedicated floor for kids to play with model trains and watch them move around, which was a fun highlight. Parking is available either at metered street spots or in a nearby garage, which costs around $20 per day. Overall, it was an enjoyable and educational experience for both adults and kids.

When seeing a museum of mechanical engineering i absolutely believe the people that restored and continue to maintain these locomotives and cars are beyond expertise. The staff is absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable. Perfectly located in old sacramento for a whole day of fun.

Had a fantastic time at the California State Railroad Museum! As two adults, we weren’t sure what to expect, but we ended up having so much fun. The scavenger hunt was a great touch, and the exhibits are very interactive with full-size trains you can explore. The museum is well-maintained, with a lot to see and learn. Staff members are friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. A must-visit if you’re into museums or looking for a unique, engaging experience in Sacramento.

Went here on a Friday around 4pm not to crowed. Lots of history, great info, but you really need at least 2 hours not 1 hour we were speed walking, but still saw and read at least 85%. No senior or disabilities discount. May just have to go back.

Top notch experience for 1-90 years old. Real historic train carriages and locomotives on display with knowledgeable staff that will engage in interesting conversation. And that $12 per person fee is a steal which is less than half the price of nearly every museum nowadays! Second floor section is dedicated to model trains which brings smile to children. Highly recommended

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this winery! My husband and I joined the tour on October 16, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide, Gonzalo was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He shared so many great wine recommendations and stories that made the whole experience both educational and fun. We loved every tasting and ended up buying bunch of wines and joining the wine club because the wines were just that good! Thank you for creating such wonderful memories for us — we can’t wait to come back again someday. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

A fairytale winery come to life! Touring Castello di Amorosa was like stepping into another world — part medieval castle. The attention to detail in the architecture is breathtaking — from the stone towers and grand halls to the underground cellars that make you feel like you’re in Tuscany. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the winemaking process. The wines were exceptional — especially the reds and the late harvest wines — and the tasting experience felt both intimate and luxurious. You can tell every bottle is crafted with care and pride. Whether you’re a wine lover or just looking for an unforgettable experience, Castello di Amorosa is an absolute must-see. 🍷🏰

Castello di Amorosa is fun, unique, and full of interesting history — just be prepared for crowds. Our tour was excellent and our guide, Cynthia (Cindy), was the absolute best! She’s worked there forever, had tons of great information, and her humor made the whole experience even better. The tasting was delicious, and we loved getting to walk around the castle afterward to explore and take photos. It’s a beautiful property. One tip: have your reservation confirmation pulled up on your phone when you arrive at the gate. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and definitely worth a visit!

Castello di Amorosa winery is located in this beautiful castle that is supposedly, according to some ratings and a poster on the entrance, one of the top 10 castles in the world. It is a small castle but adds to the experience of wine tasting. The staff is mostly Italian. Our host, Julio, did a great job at explaining the wines and making suggestions. We liked their red blend and their cabs. Good experience.

Everyone told us to visit, though we were not anticipating being impressed with a "castle" built a few years ago. We had visited the sister winery, V. Sattui, which was amazing, and hoped for the best. "Everyone" was right! We were impressed with the beauty and architectural integrity of the structure and then wowed by the wine! Truly remarkable tasting of 5 wines and difficult to say what was our favorite!

The castle is absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos — such a unique setting! The variety of wines at the tasting was pretty good, and overall the wine was enjoyable, though there’s plenty of great wine to be found throughout the area. What I didn’t love was the tour — it felt rushed and not very engaging compared to others I’ve done. Since the castle was actually built in the early 2000s, it lacks real historical background, and the experience felt more focused on selling wine and memberships than on sharing any authentic wine history.

Wow, love this castle. Makes me I'm in England, Germany, or Italy. The grape juice the red and white one was so perfectly fruity and sweet and yummy. The tour is so much fun to explore with the family and friends. The scenic view is awesome especially the flowers and the grape vineyards. I would love to come back again.

Had a great experience at V. Sattui Winery! Our host was very knowledgeable and shared amazing stories that really enhanced the visit. The wines were excellent—some of the best we’ve tasted. The location is gorgeous, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy. Plus, their fine food market is impressive with a fantastic selection. Highly recommend stopping by!

Review for V. Sattui Winery - St. Helena, CA We had a wonderful experience wine tasting at V. Sattui Winery. The reservation process was simple and straightforward, and check-in at the front was quick and pleasant. We were seated right away at the Mercato Bar, where Jacob, our Bar Sommelier, made the experience exceptional. He was knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely welcoming, which set a great tone for our visit. The wines we sampled were delicious, and the cheeseboard was excellent -- especially the tiny yellow pickle peppers, which became my favorite item. The on-site market offers a great selection of snacks, and all of their wines are available for purchase to take home. This winery also has a beautiful outdoor area, making it perfect for a date or a picnic. The grounds are stunning, and the staff were consistently kind and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily return.

The staff knew their wines and made the experience feel personal, not just transactional. We sat outside, enjoyed the sun, and took in views that honestly look like a postcard. Between the atmosphere, the wine, and the setting, it’s one of those places you remember long after you leave. If you’re in Napa, don’t overthink it — this winery deserves a stop. One of the best visits we’ve had. 🍇🍷

Wine tasting made easy and affordable! Also a lot of fun when Bart and Eduardo team up to serve the customers. It’s difficult to find a place that offers such a wide range of grapes and varieties. The tasting customers sit around a large ring shaped bar. The premium tasting consists of five wines. There’s no rush and tasters have plenty of time to clear their pallet prior to moving to the next wine. We had a blast and suggest you give it a go.

We visited Sattui Winery in Napa and enjoyed the beautiful grounds and relaxed picnic area. The tasting experience was nice, with a good variety of wines to choose from. The deli had a great selection of cheeses and snacks to pair with the wine. However, it can get quite crowded, especially on weekends, and parking may be a bit tricky. Overall, it’s a charming place to spend an afternoon, especially if you enjoy casual outdoor wine tasting.

For the ones that believe in divine intervention, this review is for you. My husband and I decided to celebrate our 10 year anniversary at this winery. We had a tasting booked for 12 o’clock. The grounds were gorgeous and beautiful. It was a perfect day for wine tasting. Once we entered the tasting room, we were going to the bar to the To the right of the room, but something in my spirit told me to go all the way to the back bar, and that is when I was able to be served by Justin. His customer service was superb. For once in my life, I did not feel like I was a black woman in Napa standing out, but I just felt like I was an individual being taken care of the right way. Justin just made you feel important. I do not know what y’all pay Justin but he definitely deserves a raise. and this was my first time coming to the winery just an FYI!

Beautiful state park! $10 parking unless you park on the street out front and walk in. The waterfall left a lot to be desired in late October. But the general atmosphere was lovely. Especially if you like the wet, rainy weather. East Ridge Trail connector was closed when we were there so we ended up making the steep trek up Pool Ridge Trail. No dogs permitted on the trails and honestly, the drive in was the prettiest part. Still worth a visit!

We came all the way from San Diego - and this is what I would do before coming - First I would check the weather forecast and then come. We did not realize it was going to be raining 🌧️ but we came anyway. We did not have any rain atire but some cheap umbrellas ☔️ ( 👀😳) don’t make the mistake we made but come prepared. With the right shoes , clothes and good sturdy boots 🥾, and you will enjoy it ! We had the yearly pass so we got in quickly . We parked at the end and then walked. We got a little wet but we genuinely loved the entire experience. I went to the gift store and got a backpack pin and a coffee cup and a post card. The entire trip was nice! I would of loved it if the sun was out.

Loved it! The redwoods are out of this world! We visited Miur Woods over 20 years ago so decided to go here this time. It did not disappoint. We probably walked between 2-3 miles total with a little backtracking. It's all very flat except the little waterfall hike. It seems like it's always pretty damp in there so light breathable clothes are a good choice. We seen one woman in high heels but I would recommend good walking shoes. If you've never seen redwoods you have to put it on your list.

Very beautiful! Definitely go in a weekday. There is plenty of parking in the morning. $10 parking fee. Free parking on the outside of the parking lot. Bathrooms as well are pretty decent. Enjoy your hike to the smallest waterfall ever, hahaha. But the hike on the trails is WORTH IT! Definitely family friendly.

Amazing park! Friendly employees/rangers. Easy paths to walk (and harder ones if you're up for it!). We walked the main loop and saw the three highlighted trees, and then we hiked uphill about 15 minutes before we turned around. We went on a Thursday which seemed to be a good time. Not too crowded. We were there from about 10:30 to 1:30. They have many bathrooms and picnic tables which I really appreciated! Highly recommend!

Breathtaking scenery and serene silence is the best way I can characterize this place. $10 gets you a pass to drive through the park. No time limit on parking from my understanding, so you will not feel rushed to get in and get out. There are multiple trail heads to explore. While most of them are relatively short, there really is no need to power through them as you'll have no shortage of natural beauty to stop and admire. Be careful of hornets while picnicking at one of the areas. They will swarm your food and your entire picnic spread.

Amazing experience. So much better than Muir Woods. The Armstrong tree is huuuuuuge and the quiet, secluded environment is so pleasant and relaxing. If you arrive at park early, no one is there. You can use the automated kiosk to get in and park almost next to the Armstrong and Parsons….the 1400 and 1300 year old 300+ feet Redwoods. There are decks for touching specific redwoods to feel the energy.

If you are in Santa Rosa and would like to be nostalgic, please visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum. There was over 200 cartoons to read, sculptures to take selfies with, and lots to learn. They even had cartoon strips as tiles in the bathroom, which was quite creative. There were interactive areas, such as a photo “booth” where you can be Lucy the psychiatrist and spin the wheel. Once you have laughed, chuckled, and snickered as much as you want. Stop by the gift shop and grab a postcard, pen or pencil, a cup, books, and much more. Enjoy 💕 No food or drinks. There are stairs to the second floor. Children are more than welcome.

This is a gorgeous museum, very well thought out and laid out for the maximum display of the history and passion of Charles Schulz. His creation of the Peanuts comic strip is such a great story and the museum tells it perfectly. There are some interactive exhibits, a lot of memorabilia, colorful displays and several videos running to tell his story. When going through the museum, there's an area with glass display cases and drawers underneath them that are all labeled, make sure you look in those, there's a ton of information and history. Upstairs is a studio for you to create your own comic strip, they have guest artists regularly, a giant gift shop full of Peanuts souvenirs and even a cute cafe. The tour is self guided and you can take as much time as you like. We're from the older generation so the Peanuts comic strip is super relevant for us and we ended up there a couple hours reading nearly everything! Upstairs in the gift shop is where the original museum is located and there's some fun history up there too.

A lovely experience for any peanuts, snoopy, or small museum lover! Showing just a few photos- this place was so charming. Lots of history, OG peanuts art and of course, photo opportunities! The museum staff are so lovely, and gifted me a bracelet. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in Cali!

This was an unexpected highlight of our trip! I honestly didn’t know a ton about Peanuts and went because my college age daughter wanted to go. It is such a well put together and loving tribute to a man that Santa Rosa clearly loved. A big, modern building with bright, vibrant displays. Worth a visit on your way through, great way to spend a couple hours!

08/02/25 This was our second time visiting the Charles M. Schulz Museum, and we loved it just as much as the first! There’s something really amazing about being surrounded by all the Peanuts art (regardless of it’s a copy or the original) and seeing the backstory on all Schulz’s characters. Overall, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center is fun, relaxing, and full of little details that make you smile. We’re glad we visited a second time and would definitely visit again! 🐶 🐾

It was so nostalgic being here. You get to learn a lot about Charles Schulz and his other interests besides comics. It was cool to see the books in other languages! I visited on a Monday when the museum opened at 11 AM and there were already a good amount of people there. It’s only $7 for ticket if you’re a student! So make sure to bring your student ID. The cafe and ice rink are right by the museum and are also a must-see.

I'm a big fan of Charles M. Schultz along with the Peanuts characters he created from the comic books including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy, Woodstock, and more. I just love this museum so much, even the mini museum inside the gift store across the way. It's an exciting place full of fun interesting facts about the cartoonist.

Sonoma Plaza is one of those rare places that feels both lively and peaceful at the same time. Surrounded by historic architecture, boutique shops, and incredible restaurants, it’s the perfect place to stroll, relax, and soak in the charm of wine country. The park at the center is beautifully maintained — great for families, couples, or just sitting with a coffee and watching the world go by. Whether you’re into wine tasting, art galleries, or simply enjoying a scenic afternoon, Sonoma Plaza is a must stop. There’s a timeless quality to the place that makes you want to linger. Highly recommended for both first-time visitors and locals rediscovering its magic.

Beautiful landscaped square with many shops and restaurants around it. Tuesday was market day with food stalls, local sellers and live music. Many people brought their own outdoor set up and picnic. Nice atmosphere

We have always loved coming here and through the years it has never changed. Boutique hotels, great wine and amazing food. It is great for a couples getaway and lots to do with kids also. The square is something you need to see. It is also rated in the top 10 Fourth of July fireworks displays in the country. We went last year and it was unbelievable.

Lots of spots to tuck into, shops, eateries, ice cream, wine tastings, liquor tastings and more. Very walkable. Sweet little square/park in the center. Lots of parking (3 hrs).

Great downtown area, very walkable with a unique variety of shops, restaurants and tasting rooms. Spent much more time in this concentrated area than anticipated. Great people, great experiences, great time.

This is such a nice place. I'm returning in two weeks. Places to stay like the Eldorado, where I stay and lots of restaurants and shops to keep you busy and the beautiful Sonoma square to enjoy

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is, overall, a nicely designed park that offers an interesting mix of thrill rides, family attractions, and animal exhibits – somewhere between a zoo and a theme park. 🎢🦓 The park is clean, well laid out, and has something for everyone. Up until about 5 PM, I had a really good time – great atmosphere, nice weather, and a fun day overall. One big plus was the Oktoberfest event that happened during my visit. 🍺 Of course, it doesn’t quite reach the level of a real German Oktoberfest, but I have to give them credit – they put a lot of effort into making it feel authentic with themed decorations, music, and matching food and beer. It was a really fun and well-done touch that added to the experience. 🎶🥨 And I say that as a German. Unfortunately, things went downhill later in the evening. I went across the street to check in at my hotel and tried to re-enter the park at 6:10 PM for the Halloween event, but was denied re-entry because of a park policy stating that guests can only re-enter until 6:00 PM. The park wasn’t even close to being full, so the rule felt unnecessary and inflexible. Even after speaking with a supervisor, there was no exception, no understanding, no real effort to help. That’s sadly the kind of poor customer service Six Flags is known for – sticking rigidly to rules instead of showing flexibility or basic guest consideration. It’s especially disappointing because I would have gladly spent more time (and money) in the park that evening, especially with the Halloween and Oktoberfest activities going on. On top of that, the ride operations were, as usual for Six Flags, very slow and inefficient – dispatches often took five to seven minutes per train, which kills the pacing of the day and causes unnecessary waits. Bottom line: A nice park overall, with an interesting mix of rides and animals and a well-organized Oktoberfest that showed real effort and heart. But the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. With better operations and a more guest-friendly attitude, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom could easily be a top-tier park – unfortunately, this visit left me with mixed feelings and just two stars.

Fright Fest was fun and the Halloween decorations were really good! They turned on fog machines as soon as it got dark and had scary characters walking around. My son had soo much fun it was like being in a real haunted graveyard. It was a long walk from the parking lot to get to entrance I suggest dropping people off by the front. They have great roller coasters. We rented a locker for $22 which was soo helpful. The average wait for all rides was 45 min to 2 hours so that was tough for a group of boys under 12 yo. If the lines were quicker I would give it 5/5. It's a long walk back to the parking lot.

I had a great time at Six Flags even though a lot of the reviews I see are negative. Good: - We got the FLASH Premium pass and it was absolutely the right call - we barely waited in line, and when the Batman ride opened at night we got on after about 15 min in line instead of 90 minutes - We went for the Fright Fest as well, and the mazes were well done! I liked the haunted mansion the best, club fear wasn't that great since it was very empty and not as many actors inside. The spooky vibes were great and the actors seemed to have a good time - My favorite rides were the Joker, Batman, and the Wonder Woman Lasso ride, that's definitely the longest ride. Superman was also high thrill. - The park wasn't super busy on a Saturday, and parking was easy as well. Very walkable - Dolphin show had cool tricks, but the talk track is definitely for kids Bad: - Food is really expensive, $20 for basically a single slice of pizza and salad - Gets really hot during the day, but cool during the night so bring layers Overall this was a really great experience and would come again

What a mighty park for its size! Good variety of roller coasters and friendly park staff. Lines are long as usual but if you can afford a flash pass it makes the day that much more enjoyable. The cool thing is they have a mini zoo in the back of the park. The animals were so cool to look at and offered a nice change to the loud and hectic front of the park.

Great park! Grab a flash pass if you're visiting for the day, they have some fantastic coasters that you'll want to ride multiple times! Scare Feat was meh, I wouldn't pay for any of the mazes again, but it was great to ride their iconic coasters at night.

It use.to be a great place for rides and animals, but it's depressing to see less animals and expensive to eat, perhaps they offer more over the summer. I went in late October, only offered the dolphin and walrus show, dolphin show was cute, the walrus show was boring. The aquarium is a joke, like 1 small shark, 1 or 2 nurse shark, a handful of big fish. The cheetahs were active though and plenty of them compared to other animals. A lunch of burger, fries and a drink for one person is 30! Funnel.fries were good but 17 bucks is crazy. They don't take cash

It's decent. Some rides gave me a headache and would not recommend. Food is decently price and around the same price you'd get at any other cedar fair parks. Their scare fest is really small and very wimpy than from what I've expected. But overall, their sea lion and dolphin shows were great!
