Beautiful lake close to Kamloops, easy lake access and boat dock for boats an kayaks. Big lake , downfall always someone driving to fast making huge waves close to SUP s and kayakers :( . One my fav places to spend the day .

Stayed at the provincial park campground. Very clean and relatively quiet. Roads in campground paved and each site is gravel. Has a wonderful playground for kids. Nice big campsites and lots of little trails. Lake is very nice and calm. Really enjoyed our stay!

Public place to have a good time with friends or family. The facilities are good except the washroom which wasn’t up to standard. It’s also free to use. The map may tell you it’s closed but you should find out yourself

Lac Le Jeune is a peaceful and pretty lake, located within a Provincial Park of the same name in British Columbia. Beautiful at Sunrise and Sunset, otherwise it is quite average. I am uploading two photos taken at Dawn.

Been here before and decided to bring our road trip to pass by here. Although online suggested buying tickets online, this place was not busy at all with zero line ups and ample parking. The airtram experience was great offering great views to and from its lower facility. This place features multiple exhibits, gift shop, gold panning station, cafe (reviewed separately), bridge, and fudge store that offers a decent experience to the average tourist. Compared to my previous experience, this place feels a little dead. Perhaps it's not the summer season yet, but I feel like the shops they had originally have turned to exhibits for the sake of cutting manpower costs. The gold panning station was kind of lacklustre without anyone teaching about the mechanics like before. Overall it's a solid 3 and very hard for me to place a 4 like before.

Spectacular views and a unique experience, but a few things to know before you go. Hell’s Gate is definitely worth a visit if you’re driving through the Fraser Canyon. The gondola ride across the canyon is short but breathtaking, and the views of the rushing Fraser River are stunning. The suspension bridge and historical displays add a nice touch, and the whole place feels like a piece of BC history. However, parking is very limited, so try to arrive early. The on-site restaurant has a very limited menu — mostly sandwiches (around $14), two soups, fries, and burgers. The food is overpriced and not very impressive. Also, the gift shop, while fun to browse, is quite expensive. Still, the scenery makes up for the downsides. If you manage your expectations for food and shopping, the overall experience is memorable and well worth it. Also there's only one bathroom at the bottom of the Canon

Been running since 1968 and well worth stopping and doing the tram. A good history lesson on it being part of the gold rush. Great gift shop and restaurant, staff are very friendly.

A great place to stop and stretch your legs on a long road trip and well worth the time spent. A great look into the history of the salmon runs on the river. There’s a great little ‘spooky’ self-guided tour and the suspension bridge was definitely a bit hair raising. Also, they have a penny crusher machine so make sure you have some loonies!

Skip it! Don’t waste your money here. They had the most unfriendly staff, if you can even find one. The place is like a ghost town. If I knew how rundown this place had gotten, I wouldn’t even pay $5 a person to get in let alone the hefty price of $37. Thank goodness my son under 5 still otherwise it’s $32 a kid! There are zero activities there, the “gold panning” is a disgrace - the water is a biohazard and there was barely any gravel let alone any “gold”. I feel offended for all the tourist that come here and think this place represents Canada in any way shape or form. Also, 1 single gum ball at the candy store was $23.09…. Excuse me whatttt?!?

I've been to hell's gate a number of times and it has a nice view of the Frazer river but there isn't really much to do once you've taken the airtram to the bottom. The gift store is lacking and doesn't have much things to offer but the fudge on the other had is really good. The tickets for hells gate are kind of expensive but understanding this place is more of a tourist attraction. 7/10

Super disappointing and limited experience. This is my Honest review with no filter or sugar coating. I would have given it one star but fell sorry because nature and surrounding elements are spectacular indeed. Where do we start with negatives?! First off the price set at $35 is not only steep but completely unjustified. I read a review before I went there that it’s very rundown and nothing really to do there. I didn’t believe it until I saw it with my own eyes. Once you get up across the river after a very. Beautiful but short tram ride you have a suspension bridge, a counter that was once a restaurant, a sad, overpriced and limited store, a small gallery history museum and a Fudge and candy store that sells terrible fudge by the way. The restaurant looks so run down that we didn’t order anything. They had 5-6 food choices on the menu and it’s an actual counter self serve cashier. The store sells some items and cheap souvenirs some you’d find in Vancouver aquarium and bc ferries but much more pricey. The sweet shop / ice cream fudge was a total joke. I got a sea salt and caramel. If you’ve never had a fudge in your life there is a small chance you might like it. It was salty like they dumped the salt and rolled it into a mushy paste with some hint of sweet caramel. I almost died in the first bite. The whole place seems unkept and rundown. It really is a shame because it is such a heritage site and deserves to shine. I imagine if a better owner take care of this place it could receive some boost and major upgrades.

Absolutely stunning🌟!! Beautiful mix of nature and history. It’s short walk from the parking lot (5mins). We visited over the weekend and it was pretty busy, parking gets full pretty fast but there’s plenty of parking alongside the road you can use, if you don’t mind walking a few extra meters!! Tunnels are extraordinary. Walk alongside the canyon, with rushing water - its just beautiful😍 Definitely check them out while they are still Open!!

Beautiful place. Wonderful nature with peaceful sound of the clear water. We could enter three tunnels, or actually 2,5; Halfway the last tunnel was a wall built, with a note with the message repairs are needed on the tunnels so we couldn't go further. Despite it was very worth the (15-20 minute?) stop. It was a very little walk of approximately 5 minutes. (Would have been possible/ accessible with wheelchair I guess.)

Absolutely gorgeous, it was amazing how the tunnels turn around to fabulous views. It's a nice walk towards the entrance and get dark, better to have some form touch or mobile flash would do. The bridges are quite the catch with the view. There are more tunnels and could walk down the way. Definitely a place to visit!

Made a pit stop here on route from Vancouver to Sun Peaks and I’m so glad that we did. The tunnels are incredible. I’ve never seen anything quite like it before. The views are amazing. I highly recommend visiting this place from some unique sights and amazing pictures.

The nature here is absolutely beautiful, and it’s a very interesting historical place. This is a great destination for anyone who loves the rich history of our province. I just have a couple of small suggestions: 1. On weekends, it’s really difficult to find parking — there clearly aren’t enough spots, and there are a lot of tourists. 2. There isn’t much historical information available on-site, so I often had to use Google Search to learn more about the place. Other than that, it’s definitely worth visiting!

Finally revisited the Othello tunnels since their full re-opening, the restoration crews did a great job. It may only be a short portion of the historic kettle valley railway, but it's beautiful, the tunnels are a little spooky, and everything feels very safe. Don't forget your flashlight, or the flashlight on your phone.

Visiting this place is like a small lottery — sometimes you get to see it, sometimes you don’t. Very unexpectedly. Our group tried twice. The second time we even called ahead, and they confirmed the Tunnels were open. We drove more than 150 km — only to find them closed. Why? For how long? Nobody could answer. I hope you’ll be luckier. From the parking lot, it’s just a 12-minute walk along a wide, flat road, comfortable even for seniors and children. On the bright side, the road to this location is very picturesque, which helps soften the disappointment. And by the way, you can also visit the famous Bridal Falls, just 42 km away.

bridal Falls comes up in things to see in the area and we have noticed it used in some Canadian filmed shows so decided to explore. We went on a misty morning on a Wednesday in December thinking we’d be the only tourist types going in the rain but there were small groups of people coming and going. There really isn’t anywhere to park but a road edge and it is a fairly steep hike for 15 minutes up to the falls. Very scenic area and a beautiful falls.

Went there in the morning for a short walk during weekend with friends. Better be there early on weekends to get parking spot. Trails available and going up to the right you will able to see the amazing Bridal Veil Falls. Their Picnic area, tables and pit washrooms are better than Shannon Falls. Although these parks have their own must see great views. Dog friendly on leash park and trail but didn’t see any playground for children.

Beautiful waterfalls conveniently near highway 1. The short hike is worth it. But i hope they place more direction signs. It may be a short trail, but we still got a bit lost as there were 2 intertwined trails. Parking can be full, so a little bit of patience is needed even on a not so busy day.

Are you getting sleepy on a long commute? If yes, then here is a quick little hike to get the blood flowing and wake you up. Trail will take you about 15 minutes hike to the top, and the waterfall waters are good for a quick cold shower (if you choose to ignore the signs and hike the rest of the way up). It is worth a stop 100%

The trails and paths are extremely well maintained and clearly marked. The viewing area at the waterfall has a taped off area to prevent people from climbing up to the falls, but someone cut the tape. Beautiful picnic spots near the parking area with plenty of restrooms close by. The picnic tables are right next to a small stream which is incredibly peaceful to listen to. I would imagine the place gets very busy in the sunny months though. This was an amazing morning trip from Abbotsford.

Wonderful place for a short (uphill) hike to the falls. There are two trails up -- one is steeper and shorter. We took that one up and then the longer, less steep one back (has some stairs). Other trails as well for longer hikes.

the walk is steep in some places, but not incredibly difficult if you have no physical barriers. Some slopes are about 30*+ and you feel it. The view is worth it. There are two paths up, the short one from the parking lot has the steepest slopes. The other one has some stairs to help.

The view is underrated during Summer for the ski area and can’t justify the beauty in Winter season, but it is worth a visit. Most parts of the roads uphill are winery, so it requires good driving skills. Chains are needed for Winter.

Epic mountain with tons of snow during the season! ❄️🏂 No frills, just pure skiing and snowboarding fun. The terrain is insane — great for advanced riders but still has chill runs too 🎿🔥 Vibes are super local and laid-back, no resort crowds 🙌 If you love powder, Mt. Baker delivers. 💯🌨️

I’ve been coming here for multiple years now, the skiing here is great, with great views at the top of the lifts. And food at the lodges is good.

Great destination for hiking, camping, and snowshoes. You can ski, too. And they all come with great views if Baker, Shuksan, ridges, lakes, and (in season) fall colors of blueberry and Sumac.

Road is a little rough, but my '98 Jetta made it no problem. Great little lake to walk around, can't wait to see it after it snows!

Amazing mountain that has soenthing for everyone. From painters caught up in the beautiful landscape to skiers and hikers looking to push the limit. The views here are breathtaking

There is 350m elevation to get to the suspension bridge but nice views from there. Suspension bridge is exciting and offers nice place to take photographs. Slightly challenging for those who’ve leg injury or mobility issues. Lots of parking but can get full during summer.

Cascade Falls is a must-visit spot, perfect for a quick and refreshing getaway. Located just a short distance away, I never imagined I could reach such a stunning waterfall so easily. The walk to the falls is gentle and accessible for everyone, making it an ideal destination for all ages.

A beautiful oasis just 1-2 hours outside of Vancouver! Cascade Falls is absolutely stunning, and the short hike to the suspension bridge is both fun and scenic. It’s a great spot to cool off on a hot day, with crystal-clear pools perfect for swimming and refreshing cool water. Just a heads-up—make sure to bring bug spray, especially if you’re planning to stay later in the day. Enjoy!

Loved this spot! A very short toddler friendly hike up to the waterfall. There is a bit of an incline but very manageable for kids 2+, just hold their hands. There are some stairs along the way as well but doesn't take more than 15 mins if you're walking slowly. You can take some great pictures at the waterfall and the bridge. At the base, if you go right, there are a couple of sheltered tables for a picnic and then in the same area you can get right into the water flowing from the waterfall.

This waterfalls is always a refreshing sight. I saw it on Fall and Summer time. The picnic area is tiny but the river below is a lovely spot to go for a quick dip. The restroom could get a little bit of cleaning.

A beautiful hidden gems, a great place to take a day trip You can take a short hike to the falls which is spectacular, a wonderful suspension bridge along the route. There is a nice size parking lot, a few picnic tables! A great place for a picnic!!

I really enjoyed the place — the park is fantastic! It’s a great space for both adults and children to spend time, relax, enjoy the fresh air, and unwind. That said, there were a couple of things that slightly took away from the overall experience. First, the staff. I wish they were more friendly and engaged. It was rare to see anyone smile or show interest. It often felt like the younger staff members saw themselves as being “in charge” and behaved in a somewhat condescending or superior way. That kind of attitude isn’t very welcoming and doesn’t encourage return visits. If the staff were more open and positive in their interactions, I would happily give this place five stars. Secondly, the food at the food court was underwhelming. Some of the vegetables looked like they had wilted long before they made it to my plate. The tomatoes, for example, were completely inedible — I couldn’t even manage to eat them. On a positive note, though, the poutine was delicious — so thank you for that!

A excellent Waterpark located just a hour across the Canadian boarder from Washington State. The Staff was outstanding, very helpful and and friendly. A great variety of water slides. Lots of splash areas for the young ones. The area was so clean. There is plenty of parking ( They do charge a fee) really enjoyed everything they offered

Fun-Filled Family Day at Cultus Lake Waterpark! We visited Cultus Lake Waterpark last Saturday with the whole family, and it was an absolute blast! The kids (and adults!) had an unforgettable time. The park offers a fantastic variety of rides suitable for both children and adults, ensuring everyone finds something to enjoy. The highlight of our day was the colossal canyon - grabbing a four-person tube and navigating the twists and turns was thrilling and had us all laughing like crazy! There are plenty of picnic table areas throughout the park, perfect for setting up a home base to relax and eat. We also loved discovering the hot tubs scattered around—see if you can find them all for a relaxing break between rides! A few things to note: There’s a bag check at the entrance, and open bottles will be emptied, so plan accordingly. Also, once you enter, there’s no re-entry, so make sure to bring all your essentials with you. Overall, Cultus Lake Waterpark is a fantastic spot for a family outing. With exciting rides, great amenities, and plenty of fun, we can’t wait to return!

Cultus Lake Waterpark is considered as one of the best in British Columbia. It's only a couple of hours away from Downtown Vancouver or about an hour away from Surrey. The drive to this place is wonderful. The rides are amazing and for most rides you don't need to be a swimmer. There are lifeguards watching you from everywhere so you're pretty safe. Beware: some rides do need you to be an expert swimmer. Please buy your tickets in advance as on weekends they are mostly sold out. You can carry your tents, umbrellas, mats, wagons full of food and drinks, etc. They have a ground which can be used for having a picnic. You can get lockers there to store valuable belongings. As for parking, you get two options - free parking at the back of the park (unsupervised), and paid parking ($10 for the day) in front of the park. You can check their website for all the good things you get. It's well written over there. A must go with friends or with family.

The park has a great, fun, and family-friendly atmosphere. Lots of slides and activities for kids, and the whole place is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and make you feel safe. ✅ Pros: • A wide variety of slides for all ages • Clean, family-oriented environment • Helpful and polite staff ❌ Main downside: They don’t limit ticket sales, so it gets overcrowded. We had to spend most of our day standing in long lines. It would be much better if they controlled the number of visitors.

Fantastic park! Layout makes everything accessible. Also a ton of fun slides/rides for teens and adults. Since it was a bit cloudy, it wasn't as busy as I feel it would be if it was sunny. We were able to get a covered table and that made a different compared to being on the grass (as we didn't prepare for that). Staff was friendly and helpful. I honestly enjoyed all the slides and raft rides. Price was $40 CAD (I'm from California) and I felt that was about right. Food is always pricey, but there is an option to bring in sealed food. I did buy "Valley of fries" which was like $12. Also there is a coffee/expresso/frappe' bar too. Valley of Fear, Speed Slide and Freefall were awesome. Again, honestly impressed with all the slides. And if it is a bit cold at 1st, there are hot tubs dotted throughout the park! My kids enjoyed immensely.

Such an amazing waterpark!! The best I’ve been to in BC. It’s got a whole bunch of slides ranging from easy to difficult, and ones for all ages. The lineups aren’t terrible, they seem to cap attendance at the right number to keep everything flowing smoothly in the park. There is food available and it’s not too expensive. I recommend the fish and chips, it is excellent! Don’t fear if it’s raining, you will still have a blast at the waterpark because the lines will be shorter, and there are hot tubs everywhere. I’ve been here on a rainy day before and it was one of my favourite days in the park. You can’t beat a sunny day though, even with the longer lines! Highly recommend checking out this waterpark, you will not be disappointed!

This is now by far my favorite Washington waterfall. Amazing! The amount of water coming down and another river joining it is incredible to watch. The drive is long from Olympia, but worth it at least once. There are snakes in the area, but we didn't see any. All snakes west of the cascades are non- venomous. In Washington state, the only venomous snake is the Western Rattlesnake, also known as the Northern Pacific Rattlesnake. It is primarily found in the eastern part of the state, east of the Cascade Mountains. There's plenty of parking of everyone parks next to each other.

You drive down a windy gravel road to an open gravel parking lot. The walk down is only like a minute from the parking lot. The falls is beautiful and fenced in from the cliff. No restrooms available.

SPECTACULAR!!! I first went to Racehorse falls which isn't too far away and I thought it was my favorite Until I saw Nooksack....WOW I first climbed under the bridge and down some big rocks which put me on Top of the falls which was an Amazing perspective. If it had been wet the rocks would have been dangerous and slippery but luckily I was there on a dry day. Just around the corner you can see the falls falling. So very beautiful. And I also liked that there was no hiking needed. Highly recommend these falls.

Easy to get to and pretty but the very tall fencing takes away from the glory of it all. I understand it's necessary for safety purposes but it does take away from the beauty.

This is my favorite spot to escape from reality and enjoy nature, I've also siphoned gallons of water from the falls and its the most refreshing water I've ever had.

The village store is such a fascinating business to go to. I just wish I knew about it sooner because they have been in business for almost 40 years. They have a great variety of different candy, tea and even baked goods such as scones and pies to serve. They have some unique sweets like Cotton Candy Dr. Pepper, Reese’s Wafer bars, Karameller Swedish Candy and Candy Rock Sticks. They even sell a unique selection of beer; however, you can only have it when you are dining in their store. The interior countenance of the store is very old-fashioned yet appealing. There was an old but working fireplace, these historic industrial coffee makers and a lot of other old knick-knacks on display. The people who worked there were very pleasant and helpful too. I did not take any pictures or videos of the inside of the village store, out of respect for the owners and workers there. I would very much love to pay my patronage to the Clayburn Village Store again soon. For those of you that have not been there yet, go check it out.

The owners Trish and Bryan are kind , caring people who run a special shop . I’m never disappointed with their selection of British food and treats galore. Their home baked specialty pasties etc. are the best , their soups so tasty and made from the best local ingredients …. We’re so lucky to have them here !

A not to be missed experience. I especially enjoyed meeting and talking with Brian one of the store owners. Not only does he have extensive knowledge of the products in the store but he is so passionate about what he does. Walking around the store packed with items which in some cases are only available in this store, is an absolute joy. Products include British chocolates and candies, Chutneys, Jams, sauces etc.

What a spot! This place has everything for the sweet tooth in the family as well as some delicious savory fresh baked goods. The owners are incredibly welcoming and happy to have a chat to get to know you and tell you about the amazing history of this store. Its the true centre piece of Clayburn Village and its an amazing piece of community.

A small shop at the back of a residential house selling body care and facial care products made with essential oils. Good quality, wonderful scent, and reasonable price. The owner Sue is very nice and showed me how she organized her work. Decor is cozy and romantic. Highly recommend. This shop only opens Saturday in Abbortsford.

Nice to visit here!!! But you definitely need to bring your own car here!!! 🚗🚙🚘🚖 (If you want to hike this mountain!!!) and please do not visit there till autumn - early summer!!! It is pretty snowy and cold in the top part of the mountain!!! (You can also die sir… if you disobey my advices and quotes..) (Because I experienced it…)

One of my favourite Park. This park is huge. They have a lot of entrances. Some on the left some on right. There are forest, river, big lake, small peace lake, mountains… in the park. Make sure come earlier as so many things to do and see. Enjoy the nature in Golden Ears.

Great place for a quick hike and great trails too! It is very beautiful place, quite occupied, family friendly and fun trails to the creek. It will take all about 3 hours to explore the trail to the creek and back, especially if you stopped here and there to admire views and side locations to sit. But be careful cause your phone signal will be off if you are at the north beach or go up the trail. You can find camping sites, bathrooms are well distributed,

BC at its finest, this is an amazing park. It’s got it all. From a pristine lake to waterfalls and hiking trails for all. I can’t say enough about this great park and definitely recommend coming here if you can. Lots has been written about this park, so skip the words and come to this place and experience nature at its finest.

Beautiful provincial park however it is extremely busy. During camping seasons you must buy a camping spot within the literal second the tickets go online or you are screwed. Not to mention you need day passes for certain days during the summer and winter which I find ridiculous. It is also an extremely busy park in general and you will have a hard time finding a nice secluded spot with no people unless you really hike. That being said this park is truly beautiful with amazing waterfalls and lakes with gorgeous surrounding by mountains and forests.

We camped at the Gold Creek campground the week after the long weekend. The park rangers are incredibly helpful, and they maintain the park beautifully. While we camped, I saw them clean the bathrooms 2-3 times a day, checking campsites to be sure there were no squatters, and enforcing the day pass rule so the park wasn’t over crowded. Overall it was a wonderful stay and beautiful weather.

Gorgeous urban nature park with a 2.17 km paved pathway around a stunning man made lake complete with sizeable fountain. For bird enthusiasts, various water fowl and marsh birds can be heard and spotted, such as the red winged black bird. You might even spot a painted turtle sunning themselves! There are 3 playground areas, a water park, outdoor pool, picnic areas and baseball diamond. Plenty of open and shaded spots with park benches available, including a small floating dock for fishermen or anyone wanting to enjoy the lake breeze.

This is a great place to hang out with friends and family on a nice sunny day. Me and my husband usually come here for an after dinner walk. We love how relaxed and serene the atmosphere here. Bicycles are allowed here, pets on a leash are allowed except by the playground area. Washrooms are available and picnic tables are all over the place as well as benches. It’s a good 30-45 minute walk if you do the full circle. I like the bridge area the most especially during sunset. Also, I have seen a few men fishing by the dock and I have asked them what fishes are usually caught and they said it’s mostly trouts here. So, if you like to fish you can try it here. A lot of geese all over the place so watch out for land mines! Lol! Parking may be a challenge during peak hours. This place is friendly to all ages, wheelchair and stroller accessible!

The park is beautiful, well maintained and has a lot of nature. It is family and pet friendly. It has public bathrooms. It is a good place to practice many different sports including jogging and running. Also good for a picnic or to enjoy good time outside with family, pets and friends. The only thing preventing it to be 5 stars is that it does not have lights enough to enjoy it when it is dark.

Fairly nice park with pretty views. Paths are paved. Lots of parks along the loop, with playgrounds, washrooms, benches, and parking. Also a place to fish aswell as a boat ramp. Expect to see lots of ducks, birds and squirrels. Sadly a lot of homeless hanging out and camping in the area. Was approached multiple times while walking the loop which made me a bit uncomfortable as a young woman. Maybe not the best place to walk alone.

EDIT- this should be called Goose Lake, the park is just ripe with goose droppings. They’ve covered the walkways, paths, all the fields. It’s just absolutely disgusting! Other than that I could be beautiful park for humans but the geese have overtaken!!! My dog loves to go for walks around the lake but right now he doesn’t even want to walk the pathways and just directs to the sidewalk outside the park!

I loved this park, I went with my partner and my 7-month-old baby, we did the complete circuit, we were able to see many animals and plants, and the view of the lake is very beautiful. I recommend it

Beautiful park with a 2.5 km looped walking trail around the lake. You can see Mt Baker in the distance and there are benches and picnic tables around the park where you can sit and enjoy the view. There are parking lots scattered in different parts of the park and a big playground for kids next to each lot. Very clean and close to residential neighbourhoods. This is a beautiful park to visit for families, friends, and lovers.

This is a beautiful park with well-manicured trails, a picnic area, a playground, and plenty of open space to walk around. We visited on a weekend and it was fairly busy, so if you’re looking for total solitude you may want to choose another spot. That said, it still felt peaceful and relaxing, with lots of room to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We’d definitely come back again for another visit.

This is amazing park with many trails where you can go for a walk, jogging or cycling. There are multiple and different parking stalls on different areas. And absolutely a beautiful waterfall and lakes around the park. Many areas for pets with leash and without leash area. Other spots for a birthday party and BBQ. Don’t hesitate on visiting this place you will absolutely enjoy it.

Was a quick hike, absolutely beautiful in the fall. We got wet from the rain, but it was easy to get to. We will visit again and explore more of the trail another time!

Amazing and cute little park! The falls are beautiful, with the amenities of a small city park (playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, bathrooms, off-leash dog areas, etc.) but with trails that feel like you're out in the middle of the woods. Waterfalls and small creek are very charming. The pools made by the dams are picturesque. Love that the waterfalls and stone bridge is so close to the parking lot.

I visited on a sunlit afternoon and enjoyed how easy the main loop is: short paved paths lead to several small cascades and a charming stone bridge that makes for a great photo stop. Trails range from stroller-friendly to slightly rougher forest paths, so wear supportive shoes if you want to explore beyond the falls. There are picnic tables, playgrounds, and a trout hatchery that kids loved. Parking is usually fine on weekdays but fills fast on weekends, so come early for easier spots.

This beautiful park feels much more remote than the few minutes it takes to get here from downtown Mount Vernon. There are pros and cons to visiting, however. Pros: As a biology student researching fungi, this park is a true delight in terms of finding unique specimen. As you can tell from photos, I've found a plethora of different species of fungus, slime molds, and native plants. It's a pretty quiet park, also, so you're surrounded by the sounds of birds, wind in the trees, and the few small brooks you'll come across. It's also advantageous that there are parking lots both at the top and bottom, so you can start either place. The trails are winding, and though there are few maps of them, they each run into each other, and it's easy to find your way back no matter. The views from both the bridge and the gazebo at the top are gorgeous scenes of the Skagit Valley, so even if you start at the bottom, making your way to the top is more than worth it. Cons: There are regular enough bear sightings that it's definitely important to keep your eyes peeled and carry bear mace, if you can. This park also contains trails specifically for mountain biking and are labeled as such for the safety of bikers and hikers, but that doesn't seem to keep the bikers to those specific trails. You'll find mountain bikers on any trail, and they don't always slow down and do always expect hikers to get out of the way, even on pedestrian trails. I recommend limiting headphone use to one ear or not at all if you use them hiking, so you can listen for oncoming traffic. The park is dog friendly, which is a major bonus, but requires dogs to be on leash. The con here is that many don't respect the leash rule, which can be frustrating to those walking with nervous or reactive pups. All of that said, this is a lovely park, and most people you run across are friendly. If you run across me staring at logs or photographing mushrooms, feel free to say hi!

It's exactly 1.5 miles up if you take the paved path. Beautiful scenery and always clean, and they have a nice port a potty halfway up. I like that they also have trails for bikes or if you want more of a hike!

Hidden in plain sight on a hillock overlooking Mount Vernon, this bike and h8mer-feirndly county park is simply fabulous. Even if you and the kids are not ready for a radical hike, you can drive to the very top, have a picnic lunch, then walka short ways to an observation platform 100ft above the receding hillside that offers a stunning northward view.

Love how they have 2 look outs places overlooking the Skagit Valley, many trails and not far from. I-5!

Endless trails with varying difficulty levels, plenty of biking areas, amazing views, even a dark and light side of the mountain depending on the time of day! Whether you feel like a cool, relaxing, shady hike or a beautiful sun-soaked walk through the forest, Little Mountain is the place to go!

Lovely set of trails! Saw a few regular hikers who were very friendly and full of information. Beautiful greenery, sweet bird music, and some pretty butterflies to round out the trip. Will be back!

I visited Seattle Premium Outlets, and while some stores had decent deals, others felt like total rip-offs. In a few places, the price tags were clearly manipulated — they claimed 40% off, but when I peeled back the sticker, the original price underneath was actually much lower. Total price inflation 🙃… That said, if you look carefully, you can still find extra discounts here and there. So with a bit of smart shopping, you can walk away with good deals. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a light trip when you need a change of scenery.

Visiting Seattle Premium Outlets was a pleasant surprise during my trip. As someone in my early 50s who appreciates good value without unnecessary hassle, this place checked all the boxes. The layout is easy to navigate, and the walkways are wide enough that it never felt crowded, even on a busy afternoon. The store selection is excellent — plenty of well-known brands, good discounts, and helpful staff in most shops. I especially appreciated that many stores had clear signage and organized sections, which made browsing simple and efficient. Parking was straightforward, and I liked that there were food options nearby when I needed a short break. The overall atmosphere felt clean, safe, and comfortable for visitors of all ages. If you’re visiting the Seattle area and enjoy outlet shopping, this spot is definitely worth a stop. The deals were solid, and the experience was smooth from start to finish.

The outlet mall wasn’t that big or special. It had some brand-name stores, but the prices weren’t very low. The food court also wasn’t great — just overpriced. I personally didn’t enjoy it and didn’t end up buying anything here.

Best Shopping Center around. Lots of variety including premium and popular branded clothing stores. The restrooms are maintained well. Lots of parking spaces even in busy days. I live 7 minutes away from here and I find it always worth visiting.

Popular open-air mall for discounted fashion. Great selection of many name brands. Extremely crowded, especially during the holiday season. Nevertheless the mall is very clean and tidy despite the traffic. Be prepared to get rained on since the mall is only partially covered. The food court is very small and offers little selection. Awesome holiday light show across the street.

I’ve been coming here for years. Decent outdoor outlet mall. Canadians are getting a real financial spanking with the exchange rate right now. I found a work blazer and charged the car so overall it was a fairly successful visit on our way home from Seattle.

Tulalip casinos Asian fare restaurant. I like that the menu is simple 2 page. I think for that reason, the dishes here are always consistently good quality. When I do come eat here, I do recommend the steamed halibut with ginger and soy sauce . Today we had other dishes. No complaints.

We used to love and enjoy Journeys East for their Asian cuisine, especially the high-quality (and reasonably priced) sushi. Sadly, things have changed! They've swapped out real crab in their rolls for imitation, prices have gone up, and some beloved dishes like the lobster roll and scallops with veggies are gone. Plus, the wait times are consistently 30-60+ minutes. It's a real disappointment as it's no longer the enjoyable experience it once was!

This was one of the several eateries inside the casino. It was my first time eating here as my friend had been here before. Food: 3/5 - We shared the fried rice and Pad Thai noodles. I rated the fried rice with chicken 4/5 as it was a decent portion with lots of ingredients. The Pad Thai shrimp was barely a 3/5. There was a weird vinegar taste in the noodles. It was the first time I had red cabbage served with Pad Thai noodles. The portion was smaller. It’s great that they have a menu at the front entrance. Where do I start? Well, My server was great, but the food just unbelievable ZERO flavor, the chicken fried rice had boiled pieces of chicken and the rice was just flavorless. The sweet and sour Pork had the same problem, no flavor, showered with a bunch no love seasoning...give me my money back! Please make an effort to put more flavor in the meat and food. Please make it better, I will comeback in few weeks !

Love ordering family style here! Started with Vietnamese Spring Rolls with shrimp and peanut dipping sauce, came with 4pcs. Also ordered a California Roll for the sushi-lite kids at the table. Fried rice combo style is a must! Flavors are clean and lite, ready for you to add shoyu to your liking. Pad thai with chicken also had tofu in it which was a nice surprise. Beef broccoli with the choice of Chinese style or regular broccoli- we went the Chinese route of course and didnt disappoint. Ginger chicken (dark meat only) was delicious, loved how the ginger flavor was just right and not overbearing or undetectable. Oh and my favorite, a side of bok choy! Service was fast enough to stop in for a quick bite in between games, yet fully top notch to reserve for a special occassion - as we did for my birthday! Don't forget your players card for a discount on the bill!

Been here many times but first time writing a review of this restaurant. Probably everyone knows this is a very popular place. The food is absolutely great. Would recommend the combo fried rice and Bo Luc lac… Sushi is also great too. There is no complaint except for the long line wait and a limited amount of staff working

This restaurant is good. If you’re looking for sushi, they are not serving it right now. I was dissatisfied with the karaage but only because I have high expectations. The staff was friendly though so it made up for the food. I recommend the honey walnut shrimp or the chicken chow Mein.

This was honestly one of the most overrated experiences imaginable. Although I’ve heard people say it might have been better years ago, in its current state it’s awful. The tour started with a short video about the founder of Boeing, which was actually very interesting. Unfortunately, that was the highlight. From there, we boarded a bus to the factory, only to go down one set of stairs, then another, and stand in line multiple times before finally taking an elevator up to the viewing area. When we got there, absolutely nothing was happening in the factory. Our tour guide seemed incredibly discombobulated, barely offered any real explanations, and came across as both uninformative and a bit on the creepy side. I honestly thought this was just the beginning of the tour, but it turns out that was it—we immediately went back down the elevator, back on the bus, where we got a bunch of useless information that didn’t add much of anything. We ended up right back at the gift shop, which made the whole thing feel like it was designed more to sell merchandise than to actually show or teach us anything meaningful. We also visited the museum afterwards, which was just as underwhelming. There wasn't much going on, and you'd think we'd at least be able to sit in a cockpit or get close to an aircraft, but even that was missing. Honestly, they should rethink everything about this tour from the ground up-especially considering the price they're charging, not to mention the extra cost of getting there and back. Just a side note, there is a rooftop where you could watch the shared runway, which would be fun. But unfortunately, when we were there, it was not very active. Overall, a huge disappointment. Save your time and money.

Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or not, if you are anywhere near Seattle and like planes this tour is a must-do. Whenever we see an airplane and wonder how these huge things get build — the Boeing Factory Tour is your answer, and it’s really awesome. We recently visited the Boeing future of flight museum and also took the Boeing factory tour. It was an amazing experience. The guides are super friendly and shared lot of cool facts and interesting stuff. Although the no-photos rule is a bummer, but honestly, it helped us experience this instead of getting distracted with your phone. We have to leave our phones, cameras and bags either in our cars or store it in an onsite locker. This tour is watching a presentation, then taking a tour bus, then a little bit of walking, a little bit of jaw-dropping “wow,” and a lot of “I can’t believe they actually build these things here.” I would recommend booking the tickets in advance , the tour usually takes an hour and half and takes you inside the world’s largest building by volume, where Boeing assembles their popular models like 747, 767, 777, and 787 Dreamliner. This is the location where most of the Boeing 747s ( Queen of the skies) were built and took off from. Walking along the elevated platforms gives us an incredible overhead view of these aircraft in different stages of construction. The overall tour was very well organized, ran smoothly and on time and moved at a good pace. After the tour you can also visit the future of flight museum, it has many interesting exhibits and STEM related activities. The Boeing store has variety of merchandise and clothing that are reasonably priced, it’s a good place to buy gifts and souvenirs for family members. They also have a decent cafeteria where we can enjoy some food and snacks . We really had a unique and memorable experience. This is a fun experience for all. It is totally worth it !

The tour is more about the manufacturing process and facilities. It is very interesting to see the largest building and the system. Inside the centre there is a small movie theatre and some models for display. It’s very interesting to watch planes flying around and landing from the deck. There are gift shop and snacks centre as well. Washrooms are good.

Oh wow - this is awesome for aviation freaks! Honestly: We were a group of 5 boys and we did our trip from Europe to Seattle (via. Vancouver) in Oct.2025 just because of this: Boeing production visit in Seattle, WA I would do it again!! We did the 90‘ tour and the museum downstairs and don‘t forget the terrasse upstaires! Just awesome!

If you're interested in aviation, this 80-minute airplane manufacturer tour is an absolute must-do – it's truly the best of its kind. The amount of information and history you absorb is impressive. A standout moment for me was learning that every single one of the 1,574 Boeing 747s ever produced originated at this very facility and was then transported across the bridge we drove over for its paint job. That detail evoked such wonderful nostalgia for the 'Queen of the Skies.' While Boeing has faced its share of issues, the enduring legacy and widespread affection for the 747 are undeniable; it's a truly remarkable and successful aircraft.

Previously visited in 2017 but failed to write a review. Back then had a great time learning about the history of flight, with some amazing facts, like the many bakeries inside the factory, Peet's Coffee shops (Starbucks lost the account because they wanted their huge banner with their name on it), flower shops, multiple restaurants, gym, massage parlor, medical bays, postal services - it's a small city in there. The Everett factory employs 30,000 people alone, with other branches internationally. This factory is hailed as the world's largest building in the world by volume, and touring it again was fascinating, although I will say our guide in 2017 was more entertaining and was a better storyteller. I actually learned a lot on my own online reading the history of the place than on this recent tour, but it was still pretty neat to see a working factory building enormous airplanes. PARKING: Free parking in the large open-air lot. LOCKERS: you cannot take your phone or purse on the factory tour, there are some clear lockers outside you can put your things in. If you have a large backpack, there are large lockers, but it was annoying to see someone put a tiny purse in the largest locker when there were smaller sized lockers available, but you know, people. Lockers were free of charge. COURSE OF THE TOUR: You watch a video before you walk out of the theater, then onto a tour bus. You have to be able to get on/off the bus stairs, it's not a wheelchair-friendly tour. The bus takes you to a hangar, where you take an elevator down into the depths to the miles of tunnels, then back up to the factory, where you can watch planes being built in sections. After the tour, the bus takes you back to the main entrance. Tour lasts about 90 minutes, if even. The nice thing about the tour is even if you are last off the bus or at the end of the crowd, the order gets reversed when you get onto an elevator, then you get out first, so even if you are in the back of the pack, you will always get to see the planes or be near the guide as the groups are pretty small, about 15. Get there on time, pronto. Not a minute late. They are not kidding. We got there right on the minute, then they turned the lights off in the theater and we were stumbling around in the dark trying to find our seats. COST/BOOKING: Make reservations online through their website or call them. If you don't book in advance, the tour may be sold out as it's pretty popular - it's possible to change your time if you call in person, like we did. Our price with a discount/promo was $33.00 a person as of May 2025. We didn't need to tip our guide as we weren't allowed to bring our purses (whoohoo - I say whoohoo because we were tipped to death on our cruise out of Seattle, so pretty much broke). SHOPPING: gift shop with all sorts of airplane-related things, including Lego sets. IS IT WORTHY OF A REPEAT VISIT? Since I've been there twice, I'd say no, but if you are taking out-of-towners or people who have not been there before, or someone who loves planes or factories, then yes. If you get a good guide like I did in 2017 it makes you want to go back (as I have, thinking it would be the same) but on this tour, not so much but still a unique tour nonetheless.

Probably the best WWII aircraft / equipment (and *the* best free admission) museum I've ever been to. For a museum with free admission, both the variety and preservation level of the machines there are just astounding. If you're in the Seattle area, you owe yourself a visit. And please give yourself plenty of time, they close at 4pm!

Free admission! Had a great afternoon wandering around inside - tons of space and historical planes and tanks (some are the last examples left in the world!) Greg was great and I had a good conversation with him - super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by if you have time.

We have passed by this gem many times traveling I-5 and not stopped, yet this time we said let's give it an hour and try it. IT WAS AMAZING. My husband has been to many air and war museums and this one had him in awe with quality and quantity of flyable planes from across the countries as well as the tanks and other land combat vehicles. The information and displays are well done and the care and pride of the foundation and volunteers shows through. AND IT IS FREE. Go see it.

This a must stop for the military and history enthusiast. I can’t say enough good things about this museum. The staff are friendly and very willing to answer questions. The thing that I liked most was how they had the history of planes tied right back to the pilot that flew it. It made the plane not just a piece of history, it makes the history of the plane personal. The museum is free admission

The route to get to the location is lushes green, full of stunning trees and more when you get there. Enjoy!!!

An incredible bang for the effort! Paved walkway to the upper decks with accessible parking, both free and paid parking. If you want to go closer. You can hike to the bottom or park in the lower parking lot to see the lower falls. They were raging hard when I was there!

This is a very beautiful waterfall. The view is stunning. There is both free and paid parking. ADA parking is all free, and there are avcessible ramps. Drones are not allowed, but there are plenty of photo opportunities. I highly recommend it for kids and families. There are also rest rooms and some nice walking trails.

Snoqualmie Falls is a stunning and easily accessible waterfall, perfect for anyone looking for natural beauty without a long hike. It’s only about an hour’s drive from Seattle, and you can enjoy an incredible view right from the main viewpoint. The area is very visitor-friendly, with a café, a gift shop, and both free and paid parking options. For those who want to explore more, there are walking paths and a trail that leads down closer to the river. Restrooms are available on-site. Highly recommended for a quick getaway, family trip.

We drove up there at night, and it was really pretty. The white falls were very visible against the darkness around it, and the lights around the Lodge helped with that.

The view is very nice. There are enough spaces to park. The fall is impressive, and we can see rainbow. The trail is interesting with different plants. The trees are interesting. Nice trip. There are some introductions of the hydropower system and the history of Indian culture.

Beautiful resort with amazing views! This property is absolutely gorgeous, with meticulous attention to detail in its design. They have a wide variety of all the newest slot games. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. This facility is spotlessly clean, ash trays on the casino floor are actually taken away after use, and a CLEAN one is put back in its place! The machines are cleaned frequently. The smoke-free section is large and FULL of games. 10 out 10 would definitely recommend!

Stayed here before and sure the rooms are nice, however this review is based solely on a service experience that I just received. I called the casinos guest services line because there isn’t a direct line to the hotel’s front desk. After being on hold for 15 minutes, I asked to be transferred to the front desk. The agent who answers the call says they’re not able to transfer me. I ask if they’d be able to help me check availability for today and also see if there would be any chance at getting an earlier check in; my friend I’m getting the room for has a baby and they didn’t want to come before having a room and area for the mom and baby to relax. The agent tells me this request can only be made in person. For anyone who doesn’t know, Snoqualmie hotel and casino is a destination that takes quite some time to drive to. I ask if I can just please be transferred to someone at the front desk as I have stayed at the hotel multiples already and have had my early check in request granted. They repeatedly tell me it’s not in their policy to let people talk to employees of the hotel. Basically just telling me they can’t help me and I’m unable to speak to anyone else who can. When asking for their name so I could write a comment card, they said their name was Mary. They would not give a last name or badge number because they said they’re also unable to give any of that info out. So whoever Mary is working the guest services desk at 9:30am on 11/7/25, I hope they teach you what actual customer service is. I would give negative stars instead of just one if it were possible.

The resort is new only open a few months, we stayed here as an anniversary get away. Our room was a deluxe king, beautiful to be expected, high end finishes & bedding. The spa & pool was also high end, very nice way to treat yourself. We dined in their steak house & was not disappointed, service, meal, all top tier. Our morning brunch at their cafe' had fresh pastries & a variety of drinks to choose from. We aren't much for gambling & weren't impressed by the casino itself. We look forward to coming back & catching a show & staying at the resort again soon.

Very nice casino and hotel. We also ate at Vista Prime Steaks & Seafood which was delicious. My only complaints about this hotel & casino is the service. The service is beyond slow and in some cases non existent. Nearly 2 hours for dining. 20 minutes for a latte with 1 person working and 10 people in line. Also, we ordered room service. Called 3 different times for silverware which we never received.

Close to Seattle. The new addition of the smoke-free room is fantastic. The staff are always kind,welcoming, and helpful- and they all seem happy to be there and enjoying each other's company- which says a lot about company culture. The entire place is clean, and comfortable. Ive enjoyed meals at the deli, the drip coffee, and falls buffet- all delicious! This place is a guaranteed fun time!

I absolutely love this place my best friend and I go there quite frequently. Their coffee is to die for I wish I knew who made my last one because it was phenomenal!! Sometimes we will throw a few bucks in the slots. And guess what? The house did not win! 😈

Had an AMAZING experience lunch here yesterday. Would highly recommend. Good was great and so was our host. I also saw goo goo dolls here and loved the venue. They were very organized getting people in and you could bring your own wine purchased onsite. No need a screw top…they have wine barrels with screws inside to help open your bottles. Food choices inside the concert were also great. Overall great venue to spend a couple of days.

I would like to guide you to this beautiful winery. Its been 25 years since I have been here. The fish ponds are empty and the peacocks are gone, however, more activity and people means change. There is a large concert area and a restaurant now...But... the charm remains. Picnic areas, shady tree covered chill out areas and community awaits you. Free to enter, free to park. You must try the wine, order a charcuterie board or put together your own from the little store. Worth the visit.

My absolute favorite outdoor concert venue in the Seattle area during the summer and cozy indoor wine tasting all year long. Amazing events + food, absolutely incredible wine and the best ambiance around!

My husband and I went in for their September Feature Flight and had a great experience. We enjoyed the wines and all of the knowledge that Emilie shared with us. Walking around the stunning grounds was an added bonus.

The Chateau Ste. Michelle Winery in Woodinville is a very large sprawling complex of buildings, open spaces and, the reason I went here, an outdoor concerts venue. I can't comment on the inside of the winery as I did not enter any buildings. The outdoor open space is beautiful and kept very well manicured. I went to the concert venue to see Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and Gin Blossoms play in the middle of August on a day when it was sunny and 89 degrees. There are two entry gates to access the concert venue. The north entry opens right up to the side and front of the stage. The south entry is a few minutes walk to get to the seating area. I went to the north gate entry. For parking, you have to get there when they open the lots up to get good parking. Ideally, you want to park close to the north entry gate. There is ADA parking close to the north gate. Most of the parking spaces are in full sun, so bring a car sun screen for your front window. I got there when the lots opened, so I parked very close to the entry gate and in the shade of a tree. After walking a short distance through the grounds, I waited in a very sunny and hot line to go through security when the gates opened which was about an hour of waiting. There is also an ADA line. Most people brought their short lawn chairs and sat in a shady grassy area where the line would enter. Event security is very helpful and answered all my questions happily as this was my first trip to the winery. There are also many police and bomb squad personnel around the crowd and winery for your safety. Once inside the amphitheater, you pass by the merchandise table to buy concert merch while all sizes of t-shirts and other merch are available; waiting until the end of the concert gives you limited merch to choose from as much merch has been sold by then. My seat was near the back of the reserved seats and came with a high back folding seat already in place and with a great view of the stage. Those who brought low back short lawn chairs sat in the grassy area behind the reserved seats. The venue only seats 4500 people so it is a great small place to watch a concert. Sealed outside water bottles are permitted through security and there are water filling station to refill your bottle when empty. No outside alcohol is allowed. Inside the concert area you can purchase the winery's vintages from tables that also open the bottle for you and supply plastic cups. There are food options available at the back of the concert area with stalls selling BBQ (delicious!), Mexican food (got a small bone in my beef taco), cold ice cream among a few other types of food. The sound system at the concert is very good and powerful; you can actually feel the bass booming through your chest! The concert was absolutely incredible sounding with great views of the raised stage. The slope of the amphitheater is gentle not steep. Buy the reserved seats if you can afford them unless you want to bring a small blanket and picnic basket of food with you sitting in the lawn area. Outside food is permitted through security for your culinary enjoyment. The whole venue is in full sun and can be quite hot until the sun goes down behind the trees. Because the concert area is so relatively small, this place is a great way to enjoy a concert by some big name artists every Summer. I highly recommend coming to watch a concert here.

I went for the wine tasting with a couple of friends. You can make a reservation or walk in if they have available spots. We did the Take Away Flights for $30. The service is great and you get to choose 4 selections from the menu. Here’s my perspective on the different wines we tasted. P.S., I don’t have any professional education with reviewing wines so take it with a grain of salt. 2019 Muscat Canelli - tastes sweet but not as sweet as a dessert wine 2023 Le Rose - tastes dry and watery 2024 Midsummer White - tastes like apricot and beer; too much hoops 2019 Canoe Chardonnay - very nice light Chardonnay; Chardonnay is a drier wine 2018 Cinsaut - my friend said it’s is a good mix of sweet and sour and the other one hated it because she doesn’t like red wine

Everything was well organized and felt so special. It’s the perfect place for a memorable outing with friends, whether you’re into wine, nature, or just soaking in good vibes. Road the trail from lake forest park to gasworks park. Awesome trail, paved, flat, beautiful scenery with lots of ebikes, bikes, dogwalkers, runners and walkers when the weather is nice.

Wow, that trail was incredible! We started at Log Boom Park and rode all the way to Gas Works Park on Lake Union. It was a 24-mile round trip, and it was such a lovely trail with amazing views. We’re definitely going back again! The only thing that bugged me was that a lot of people were walking or stopping on the right side of the trail, blocking the path for us. It would be great if everyone could be considerate and stay on the right side when going in the same direction as everyone else. It’s like driving people, haha!

Shady, paved, well-maintained trail for walkers, runners, and bikes. Well used but not worn. Easy access, no steep slopes.

Not a bad walk. Would be better if you had better views of the water and less traffic noise in parts but overall is an ok walk. May be better to cycle than walk to get to other parts of the trail faster.

The bikers who ride this trail are completely ignorant and negligent to anything but themselves. One woman today, literally ran into my wife as we walked along the sidewalk on 40th Ave because even though there is a stop sign on either side FOR THE BIKE TRAIL all of these entitled bikers choose to completely ignore them. I’ve witnessed numerous of them nearly struck by cars. Odd world we live in when people don’t care about endangering others or themselves.

The segment from Kenmore to Matthews beach is good for walking, running, or biking, as it's flat with minimal crossing streets. The views could be better (it's mostly people's backyards on this segment, to be honest), but it's still a good place for a long walk/ride/run. The trail supports about 3-4 people across, and traffic gets a little high on weekends, so if you go, be sure and mind your trail manners: Bikers - The speed limit is 15 mph and you have to yield to pedestrians. It is not uncommon to get buzzed by packs of road cyclists going way over 15. Runners - Stay to the right, even if the unofficial dirt path you want to run in is on the other side of the trail. I often see people running 2 wide on the left side just so 1 of them can be on the dirt and it creates lots of problems. Walkers - You have ultimate ROW, but please don't abuse it. If you want to stop and chat, move to the side so others can pass. Dog Walkers - Keep your pets close to you and on the right side of the trail if possible. I see near-collisions with dogs almost every time I go out. And please don't hang poop bags on fences.

The Bellevue Botanical Garden is a beautiful park filled with great plants and flowers. I particularly enjoyed the serene Japanese Garden, with its simple wooden structures. Even though there's a parking lot in the middle of the park, I opted to take the bus, which worked out perfectly. It was easy to get there after a stop at nearby supermarkets like Target and Trader Joe's. One of the best things about this park is its location. It's right next to downtown Bellevue, so you can easily walk to Bellevue Square to do some shopping after a relaxing time in the garden. The garden is quite large, and I didn't get a chance to see the entire east side. I only made it as far as the central parking lot before I decided to head back. There are many beautiful flowers and small, traditional buildings scattered throughout the park. The trails are well-marked, so you won't get lost. I especially recommend the Yao Garden, a small, tranquil space with a pond, and the maple leaf area, which would be stunning with red leaves in the autumn.

Visiting the Bellevue Botanical Garden felt like stepping into a hidden pocket of peace in the middle of the weekend rush. The best part? It’s completely free to enter. Parking can be a bit tricky—I went on a weekend and felt lucky snagging a very tight spot—but once you’re inside, it’s worth it. At noon, they offer free guided tours where volunteers walk you through the paths and share stories about the garden’s plants and history. The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the sound of a waterfall feature, setting the tone for the calmness ahead. Maps and brochures are available at the entrance, which makes it easy to wander without getting lost. Every corner has something blooming, but the showstopper for me was a giant red hibiscus—so large I had to stop and just take it in. Families strolled by with kids, enjoying the open space and time together, while others found quiet spots to reflect or take photos. For me, it was more than just looking at flowers; it was a place to slow down, think, and appreciate the little meaningful things life has to offer. I haven’t seen all of the garden yet, so I’ll definitely be back to explore more.

Such a beautiful and peaceful escape right in the heart of Bellevue! The gardens are perfectly maintained with vibrant flowers, lush greenery, and lovely walking trails. It’s a great place to unwind, take photos, or enjoy a quiet stroll surrounded by nature. The suspension bridge and seasonal blooms are must-sees! Free entry and parking make it even better. Highly recommend for families, couples, or anyone needing a nature break. 🌿🌸

This botanic garden has several different types of gardens. You can enjoy seasonal flowers, local plants, beautiful trees and little birds. There’s a cafe, benches you can sit down and rest. Also there’s clean bathroom and a lovely souvenir shop, plenty of parking space. Admission free.

Visited back in May of 2025 while waiting for our hotel room to open up. This is a fabulous place to spend some quality time if you like nature and plants and just being outdoors. We got there in the earlier morning hours as we wanted to be able to park, because I hear that parking can be tight during peak hours. The stroll around the garden was amazing and the place was a lot bigger than I thought it would be, our feet were getting tired so we turned back, otherwise, I could have stayed here for hours and hours. Free parking, donation at the door. Spectacular place! Will totally return in the future. Very nice grounds people and staff as well.

Easily walkable and beautifully landscaped, this Botanical Garden will surely give peace and joy. Walk through the winding paths, cross little streams, photograph flowers drooping under their own weight! Its gorgeous!

Beautiful place. No better way to clear your head than a walk through redwood trees. And just 10 minutes from downtown! There are benches and nested spaces all around. And a tiny bit of bird activity though I wasn't there at peak birding hour.

The memorial has been erected in the beginning of this massive graveyard as a tribute to the great guitarist. The memorial has pictures of the guitarist etched into stone, while a metal guitar has been placed right in the middle. The memorial is in a multi faith graveyard in the city of Renton. Free parking is available in the graveyard’s own car park. The memorial is only a few hundred feet walk from the car park and is visible from the car park.

From there, it’s just a short 2–3 minute walk to the site. The monument itself is impressive — large, clean, and beautifully maintained. You can walk inside the small dome, see the metal guitar sculpture, and admire the detailed engravings, portraits, and personal tributes left by fans from all over the world. A very nice, clean and quiet cemetery. We drove all the way from Texas and finally made it to see Hendrix Memorial. Its so worth the visit.

If you're in the neighborhood, you should definitely go see this memorial. Truly beautiful tribute to Jimi and his family too, as his folks are buried there as well.

It was a privilege to pay my respects to a man who's gifts have brought me so much joy over the years. I am glad he has such a place to rest.

Loved this place, found it very peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. This place is insanely beautiful and massive. It just keeps going and going. Thought we'd be able to see it all but ran out of time, maybe next time. It's a good waking place for all ages and tons to see and take in. Kids will probably like the fish they have there in the ponds. There are tons of cool bridges to cross over and paths that feel like you're in a whole other world. Truly is a work of art, and I'm thankful that this place is here. Grate place for portrait photos or nature photos. Loved being able to walk and explore at no cost. Cool that it doesn't cost any money.

Such a wonderful way to spend a few hours. Hard to believe this is a free (donations encouraged) City run park, bigger and with more trails than even the Japanese Garden within the Washington Park Arboretum. While there aren't too many flowers blooming in the fall, the changing leaves make for spectacular vista. So many ponds and bridges and little creek crossings make this place feel like your own personal hidden garden. Take some snacks and find one of the many picnic spots to relax for awhile. Highly recommend visiting!

The garden is stunning and beautiful. It's so much bigger than the Japanese garden in the Arboretum in Seattle and very well designed. The fall colors were in full show today and we were very glad we went. Even managed to get a nice shot of the iconic Japanese maple. Parking was slightly challenging but patience helped and by the time we left around 1:30 pm a lot more slots had opened up. Definitely worth a visit and please take the time to donate to ensure the organization can keep the garden accessible to the public.

It's a lovely park. If I lived closer, I'd visit more often. Not too big, but feels both spacious and intimate. So many beautiful areas to appreciate and photograph.

If I were a local here, I would definitely come every weekend. There’s so much to do, and the walks surrounded by greenery and fresh air are amazing. I can’t even imagine how beautiful it must be in the springtime.

The entire space is so thoughtfully designed, blending natural Pacific Northwest beauty with serene Japanese landscaping. Waterfalls, stone paths, wooden bridges… it’s like walking through a living painting. Perfect for quiet walks, photography, or just soaking in some peace. Free and unforgettable.

A small museum full of art from local artist’s. Extensive gift shop and some things to look at. Overall, I spent maybe an hour checking out all the art pieces with my friend. I like how it works on a donation bases! The photo is from the last time I visited and the exhibits have changed around some! Love this place! And like how it supports local artist, which is so important for the community!

I didn’t know what to expect from a small-town art museum, but Bainbridge Island Museum of Art was a really pleasant surprise. The space is modern, open, and free to enter — which already earns points. The exhibits focus on contemporary artists and themes like social justice, identity, and the environment. Some pieces were bold, some confusing, some really moving. There was also an interactive poster printing workshop when we visited, which made the whole experience feel alive and hands-on. It’s not a huge museum, but it packs personality. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re on the island.

This place is amazing. Everyone was so kind. This place was a true gem. It's near the water and close to the ferry. The paintings are made by local artists. You're supporting the community by going here. It was pretty quiet when I went and I was so grateful that this place was free. It has a calming atmosphere and I hope you get to visit this place.

Great little museum and is free. The art was beautiful. There is a place on museum to get snacks and drinks too if you need it.

This National Historic Site was a surprising pleasure! The knowledgeable scientists and historians, along with wonderful volunteers, present the history of this place over a thousand years. It's very accessible for children and there are age appropriate activities. There's even a playground and picnic tables for break time. The location serves the local community as well as the tourists and historians, even encouraging dog rangers.

It was a nice place to walk around and check out, but you have to buy passes to get into different sections of the fort. It was nice but not the coolest fort i have been to. I really liked the museum with the planes but I would have enjoyed to see the buildings, but it was closed when I was there so keep an eye on timing because it closes early on the weekend.

Very well preserved fort. Very interesting history and historical background and more sites in the area. Set near the Columbia River was used for fur trading in the 1825 by the Hudson’s Bay Company. The Native Americans Hawaiians(Kanaka) works and settlers.

September 2025 - This is a fort used by the Hudson Bay company for dealing with natives and others that brought animal pelts to it for processing and bailing, then shipping on the Columbia River to other locations. The 'fort' is part of the National Park Service (NPS) and you can use your NPS pass for entry. The visitor center has very helpful employees and should be the first place you stop. The fort itself is a goodly walk from the visitor center, and if you do not want to do the walk, there is parking at the fort itself. After parking there, you will find a path that leads through a garden area to the main entry where you purchase or show your entry tickets. Once in, you can walk to several buildings and peek in, some are open, some not. The far wall area has the fur bailing area and someone may be there to show you how it was done. Plan on about 2 hours to see each area, and then go to the air museum on the left side of the field, there is a path.

This was a great stop! We were pleasantly surprised at how much interaction there was and information. The airfield and fort were a please to visit. The interactive blacksmith and carpentry shop were fascinating.

It had been a while since I've been here, and I was delighted to find a beautiful exhibit of indigenous art and artifacts, a space for kids to enjoy coloring, and a delightful gift shop. I put my name on an email list so I know about events happening there.

It’s easy to access from Portland and Vancouver, and I’ve had clients travel from as far as Seattle to enjoy the unique charm here. Ample parking, peaceful surroundings, and a relaxed atmosphere make Fort Vancouver ideal for anyone looking to create beautiful memories, whether it’s for a photoshoot or just a day out. Highly recommended!

Great place to spend the time with kids. I visited it on weekend and it was a decent crowd especially at kids playground. Lots of greenery and shade. Super fun place

Beautiful little community park and children’s playground with nice tables and benches. The grass or lawn was nicely managed and clean. Dogs on leashes, babies in strollers. Would definitely come again with my kids, would bring a blanket or sheet, for sitting… sometimes the grass can be a little damp. Overall, nice people, nice views and well kept park!

The park is not very big but there is a playground in it and also a lot of seatings. You can find a couple of toilets right by the playgrounds. And also there is a very big tower clock here. Very fancy and classic. There are some coffee and chops on the north side of the playground where you can buy stuff and have a drink. The park location is very close to downtown Vancouver so you can literally walk there with your family and children so they can have some fun after touring the downtown.

This 5-acre park is the oldest public square in the state of Washington, and is located right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. You can pretty much walk anywhere downtown from here. The Vancouver waterfront is just a short walk away (just cross the street) along with Fort Vancouver, Pearson Air Field and Museum, the Discovery Loop, the Vancouver Land Bridge, restaurants and shopping galore; the entertainment is endless. I found the most interesting part about this park to be the clock tower, but you will also find the Slocum House, a beautiful gazebo, picnic shelter/stage, a Victorian rose garden (I will come back in Spring to see this in bloom, because I know it will be just stunning), a well maintained playground, seasonal water features, and a walking path around the park which includes several pieces of art among mature trees here as well, as you will see from my photos/videos. It is lined with benches, so you can sit and people watch, which is always fun to do when downtown in any big city. Also, many different events are held here, such as the Farmers Market (mid-March through October) and a variety of summer festivals. I definitely recommend checking this park out. With so much to do, seeing it is smack dab in the middle of everything, you can't go wrong.

I love the park it's unfortunate the area is going downhill. I was there with my two year old and we decided to take a break and have some snacks. Sitting on the bench by the climbing structure halfway through eating I noticed a bag with drug residue on the bench next to my son. I discarded it once I noticed it, just make sure you watch your kids extremely well because you don't know what they could pick up. Its a great park otherwise.

I had planned to take my two young children to this park while we stayed at the nearby Hilton. We got there a little later in the day than expected, a little before sunset and I didn’t exactly get a “safe for tourists with kids” vibe from the various groups of people in the park which was pretty disappointing.

Beautiful park. Serene but also bustling with people all around. There are people sitting, visiting with each other and kids playing. Visitors staying at the Hilton across the street enjoying the park as well. Plenty of shade if you want to feel the breeze and sun if you wanna feel the rays. On weekends in the summer, you can attend the farmers market, purchase all sorts of goodies and then enjoy lunch at the park.
