Though a bit down a bumpy road from Kamloops, the trip is worth it. With roots as a working ranch, the Western theme fits right in. The whites, pinot noir were a delight and loved the 2018 Rose. Nice outdoor seating with great views. Bring a picnic in season.

Down the road from the impressive and imposing Monte Creek is another winery proving that Climate Change is greatly expanding the potential of British Columbia to sow grapes. This is Harper’s Trail, and I must first thank them for even being open on a chilly March afternoon. Another winery whose name escapes me (obviously) had yet to open for the season. Unlike Monte, Harper’s Trail was unknown to me. I had not seen or even heard of them before. I appreciate their use of traditional grape varietals, proving their sustainability at this latitude. And given the human race has ignorantly walked past the tipping point to stop global warming, this sustainability will be easier in a region growing each year. Yes, hundreds of millions of lives are in danger across the world given our irresponsibility towards manmade climate change, but at least we’ll be able to grow grapes in Alaska eventually. The winery itself is unpretentious and effective, a pastoral country theme with exposed natural wood all around. The view from outside is almost ominous, with distant mountains and massive empty blank fields. I enjoyed the wine as well, especially given they’re reasonably priced. There’s even a fantastic picnic area I wish we could have taken advantage of. Not only that, but my girlfriend got her bead (long story, she’s obsessed). Harper’s Trail is cozy, comfortable, and welcoming, and I recommend visiting Harper’s Trail after Monte, only because Monte can be a little overwhelming

We attended one of the music and wine events here this past summer. Really nice location, great music and delicious wine. We paired with our own picnic food so that was pretty good too :) surprised to hear that they are selling... ? hopefully the new owners will maintain the high standards.

Delicious wines and a beautiful location. You must try their Chardonnay if you were previously not a big fan. To be honest, all their wines are surprisingly phenomenal.

Winery with some history to it in Kamloops. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Found all the wines to be very crisp. Large fields surrounding the building are beautiful, however the building is very uninteresting.

Excellent bridge lookout and walking trail in heart of Golden. There is no entrance fee. Ample parking space there is public washroom and a nice icream shop near it. There are lots of resting bench and nice trail along side the river on both sidefor walking, running, jogging or biking. Pets are allowed but on leash. The main entrance is well made lots of flowers and water fountain. The trail is not paved but stroller and wheelchair friendly. Over all its a highly recommended attraction if you are in Golden. Beautiful pedestrian bridge. So authentic! The river has a sublime turquoise color. There are trails along the river with beautiful trees and flowers.

A nice place to relax, with the river bubbling underneath. There are quite a few benches around, all donated. The day we were there, there was a steady stream of pedestrians but definitely not overcrowded.

Lovely way to spend your morning having coffee on a beautiful sunny cool morning in Golden British Columbia. But I like the most is that they offer RV parking in the CP parking lot a very short walk to the river

The structure feels both grand and calming. Whether you're pausing mid-bridge to take in the turquoise water or simply soaking up the mountain air, it’s a moment worth savouring. The surrounding Rotary trails make it easy to extend your walk and explore more of Golden’s charm.

Of you need to cross the river from Golden then this is the place of your walking out on your bike. Lots of room to navigate. Does a great job getting you safely and confidently over the river. The tour was a highlight of our trip. Leo is a fantastic story teller and educator and is incredibly knowledgeable about the bison, the wilderness and their history. The tour is well worth it!

We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights. Everything is off grid but Leo, the host, had made it very cosy. The bed in the loft was comfortable and warm, the kitchen was basic but adequate. The evening fire next to the Creek was very relaxing. However the star of the show is Chester Jr and his harem of female Buffalo. How majestic they were. Leo's tour was extremely informative and the whole ranch was a peaceful haven to relax and forget the busy outside world. My only tip would be to bring slippers!!!

The Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch is such a special hidden gem in the Canadian Rockies. Leo shared his story while teaching us so much about the animals he loves. The tour was such a fun, authentic experience, and we would recommend it to anyone in the area!

Our family had such a lovely time at the Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch. It was easy to find, a short drive from our rented cabin in Golden. Leo's talk about his herd was really interesting. We learned a lot of cool new facts about buffalo and it was easy to get caught up in Leo's passion and commitment to caring for not only his herd, but all wildlife and the environment that sustains us all. We'd seen buffalo before, but it was pretty amazing to be able to stand so near them and observe their behaviors after learning a bit about them.

The tour was great! Leo's explanation on his life with wildlife and in the wilderness and his way to his own Buffalo ranch were really interesting. And obviously he shared a lot of interesting knowledge on Buffalo or "Bison Bison Bison". Seeing his buffalo was amazing. The friction fire demonstration was the most skilled bushcraft demonstration ive ever seen.

This tour is a must if wildlife is your thing, there is no other place to meet and see up close to these magnificent animals besides animals you could find in the Rockies. This tour will introduce you their relationship: the rancher owner,Leo and his bisons, plus, many stories will be told and life of these animals.

This is a brilliant place to stay. Leo is kind and thoughtful and he has put so much thought into the cabins. It’s in a beautiful location and immediatly feels restful. Don’t miss the buffalo tour - it’s fascinating .

Really nice place. All their wolves are rescued. Flora (one of their wolves) is basically a dog/wolf, super cute and well behaved, we were lucky enough to see her come back from her walk

5 minute stop at best for steep price of $60 for family of 4. Would not recommend unless you want to see 4 wolves behind a cage. They have total 6 wolves but all behind cage and can’t get near to get a good view. No tour no anything else. Go if you want to waste money. I personally love wolves and have been to other places but this was total waste. If the money is going towards the wolves I’ll feel like I donated something but I’m not sure how it’s used. Don’t waste your time and money. If you like wolves go somewhere else. This felt like a very sad zoo experience.

Lovely little afternoon with our toddler and a chance to get up close to some beautiful wolves. The staff seemed very caring about the animals and very informative about them. We learned a lot. It’s not a big set up but sometimes it’s nice to just sit and take in the animals and go without the bells and whistles. Our toddler had a great time.

I had an incredible experience at the Northern Lights Wolf Sanctuary in Golden. The passion and knowledge of the staff truly shine through every part of the visit. It’s clear how deeply they care about the wolves and their mission to educate the public about these animals. A special thank you for the opportunity to see and learn about Flora—absolutely stunning and full of personality. It was both humbling and inspiring to witness her presence up close. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication, hospitality, and for the important work you do. I left with a much greater appreciation for wolves and the wild spaces they depend on. Highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone visiting the area.

I loved visiting so much. A very educational and incredible experience. You can tell they love the wolves of BC and want to protect them. Lots of info about culling and unsafe practices by the government I had no idea about! I loved having the chance to interact with Flora as well. @katjaspov for more of my favourite places 🥰

Visited last year. Paid I think $15 each entry (me & 1 friend). Had seen online that they have tours/speeches every hour to talk about the wolves. When we visited in May we were just given a piece of paper to read. When I asked about the talk they do they said they only do that on days when it was busy. There was at least 10 people there at that time. For $150 an hour seems they could do a 10 minute talk. My friend didn’t want to read the double paged A4 paper so she thought it was very cruel they were just in cages. I read the paper which did explain they go on massive walks off leash each day. So I then went and asked some questions which was great and interesting hearing the answers from the staff. Just wish they actually did a 10 minute talk every hour on the hour no matter how many guests. As I did kind of feel like I’d just paid to see some wolves sleeping in small ish cages

Waste of money....! Paid 70 for a family and was expecting a little thru the trail but it ended before it started 🤣 Its great appericiation for them for running that place but it should be free to watch as of its selection, We watch more wildlife on the road rather than paying them and watching 4 sick sleeping wolves in cages..! Wildlife should be left in wild place and not to be put into cages and run as a penny business for human greed..! Lady there was giving huge lecture about human destruction over forests and when i see the wolves, that was miserable.

Smaller resort so a lot less to do. If I was there for mountain biking or snowboarding I would probably give it a higher rating. I was there for an event and there was not much to do besides the event I went for. The gondola was closed, so that didn't help either. I could not find a pool and for the hot tub you had to book a time to go in, this was very strange, I could understand this maybe during COVID but on the regular. Hot tubs are for relaxing not a scheduled time in my opinion. The views are amazing, the food was decent. I was lucky enough to see Boo the Grizzly bear half way up the mountain. That was easily the best part of the resort. The mosquitoes are next level bad, if you go there in the summer just take a shower in bug spray before going outside, I went through almost a whole can over the weekend and walked out with about a dozen or so bites, way better then my friends who had forgot big spray for an afternoon and got dozens of bites each in a few hours. Again big spray, lots of it is a must. Overall worth a visit if you are in Golden or passing through for a night just don't expect it to have the amenities of a bigger resort. Last off the website does say this as well but there is no A/C, I didn't find this a problem but if A/C is a must for you, then keep looking for a different place. Don't think you will just keep the patio door open to cool off the room either, again the mosquitoes are next level and they will get past the screens.

The resort is great for biking and hiking . Winter sports should be excellent. However the chairlift only opens 0945 to 3.30 so if you are hiking high you would have a time restriction if you used the lift . This may mean you miss seeing the bear enclosure. The chairlift does need more time especially in summer when the Gondola is not operational. However the views are stunning

Some of the best and most memorable skiing I’ve ever done happened on this hill. Amazing hill, lodges, and people. Please put this hill on your bucket list!

Boo the Bear is adorable. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The kicking horse websites and organization is poor. The website says the chair lift doesn't start till 10. But also the tour starts at 10. But also the tour starts at 10:30. Very confusing. We arrived at 09:45 and bought a ticket and took a chair lift at 09:50. We arrived at the top at 10:13 and had already missed the start of the tour. Show up early and hope the lift is running, I guess! The tour actually ran from 10-past 11:30. It was fantastic but this place makes it hard to plan your day!

Great place to visit as we were staying just down the road in an Airbnb. Be aware that in summer (we visited in September), the shops and lift do not operate on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The area however is very beautiful, even if you don't go in the ski season.

I love Kicking Horse ♥️ It has a great vibe. Terrain is for advance riders and skiers, a lot of fun runs. It's definitely the steepest mountain I've ever been. I spend 3 amazing days exploring and having the most fun!

We wanted to ride the gondola up to the mountain top restaurant for lunch. It was closed for maintenance. We had a coffee and ice cream while watching the ski lifts take bikers up and they rode the bikes back down the mountain.

Rogers Pass Discovery is an excellent rest stop with breathtaking views. The gift shop staff are warm and welcoming, and the washrooms are impressively clean. A must-stop spot for travelers!

An excellent place to stop and stretch your legs. The original visitor center is temporarily closed. However, adjacent buildings house restrooms that are clean. The temporary gift shop is very limited, but it's available. This has to be one of the most beautiful settings for area, visitor center.

Good for a quick stop, stretching and washroom break. Take some photos. Thanks goodness we stop by as just ahead there's two cop with photo radar!!

Good spot to watch mountain! The main building is in the progress for maintenance, but still have simple info office for visitors. Not so many gifts available for selecting.

Friendly staff, really clean restrooms! Gift shop is currently *really* limited, because they're undergoing construction on the original visitor center. Lots of good information on local hiking and activities.

Clean washrooms were much appreciated. However, as of today, August 13, the center was closed — it seems for renovations. Our toddler was excited to explore it while stretching his legs, but maybe next time. Gift shop was open.

Although the drinking and restroom facilities are readily available, the information center was not open until past 9:30 AM.

Easily accessible place right off the highway. Initially we were confused since the first spot to enter the path indicated it was closed but then to the left further in the parking we found the start of the boardwalk. It used to be a loop but due to the conditions in the forest, part of the boardwalk collapsed. Unfortunately people were stepped off the boardwalk to take photos near dome trees close to it. Signs indicated that is not allowed but some people are clueless. I visited it in mid-July so it’s busier than expected. The signs along the path offer a lot of information regarding fauna and flora. Highly recommend!

This trail is on the way from Calgary to Vancouver. We found it when looking for a washroom. It takes only about 15 minutes to walk. Very easy, good for parents too. You can see old forest and big trees. Bring bear spray. A nice stop to rest during a long trip.

Sep-2025: Second time coming here and it’s as beautiful as before! They did a lot of maintenance like installing brand new boards in most of the trail. Small part of the trail still closed for repair but you can still enjoy the beautiful giant cedars! There are plenty of parking and washrooms. Definitely worth a stop!

Magical and peaceful walk through ancient giants We stopped at the Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail just off the Trans-Canada Highway, and it was absolutely worth it. The boardwalk is short (about 500 m) but incredibly scenic—you're surrounded by massive, old-growth western red cedars that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The trail is well-maintained and easy for all ages—no hiking experience needed. It’s shaded, quiet, and full of earthy smells and birdsong. There are also little signs along the way that share interesting info about the forest and how old some of these trees are. It’s a quick stop (15–30 minutes), but it really leaves an impression. Perfect if you're passing through Revelstoke and want a break from the road.

Great stop for break on a road trip. Decent amount of good parking for rvs, trailers and cars. Clean washrooms and numerous picnic tables. Nice boardwalk around the big trees and good break from the traffic. No services here other than washrooms.

It was amazing to see Giant Cedars again. Half of the pass is closed , due to fire in 2021 but you can see enough to be amazed. We spent 20 minutes taking pictures of a mushroom 🍄 great walk, but have good shoes it is slippery

You can find the Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail about 30 kilometers from Revelstoke, B.C. The walk is about half a kilometer and takes you right into the heart of the forest in Mount Revelstoke National Park. Some of the trees found in the Giant Cedars Boardwalk Trail are at least 500 years old. This is such a beautiful location. I really recommend this place.

Be prepared for cooler temps than down in the town of Revelstoke. Many gorgeous trails criss-crossing the top of the mountain. Picnic tables and pit toilets. Amazing wildflowers when we went in mid August. You cannot drive the last 1km, but the road is still available to walk up. My husband went up and said the view was fantastic. Even if you just stay near the parking lot it is still gorgeous and there are many trails to explore.

Fairly simple trails at the top of Mount Revelstoke that could be completed in ~4-5 hours. The trail is well maintained, but could get muddy under sub-optimal weather conditions. I had a great hike despite the rapid-changing weather conditions. The views at Jade Lake was a bit anti-climatic. If you aren't intenting to camp, stopping at the ridge between Miller and Jade lakes is sufficient. The ridge had by far the best view of the trail.

Beautiful mountain and park! You can drive almost right up to the summit (short, but fairly strenuous walk to the summit from parking lot). Unfortunately was hazy from wildfires when we visited, but it must be one of the most spectacular places imaginable on a clear day. We found a rare BC lizard on the mountain, couldn’t find the salamanders. Come for the views! Note there are also trails down the mountain at lower elevations with spectacular forests.

Stunning place. A little busy and had to line up at the park entrance to go up the mountain. It was about 45-60 min wait in the mid to late afternoon. When we got to the top it was nice and cool on a hot summers day.

We did a fantastic half day hike from about 2/3 of the way up to the top of the mountain. I highly recommend not driving all the way up - there are some really beautiful trails and very helpful park staff eager to help anyone with questions. Highly recommend!

A beautiful park to visit! Well worth the long trip up to the top of the mountain to see the amazing view and glorious mountain Flora and Fauna! Loved it!

The drive up to the top is spectacular! We did this drive in mid July and the wildflowers lining the road were beautiful. There were many hikes available along the way up, it was not congested with tourists, and parking was available in the middle of the day at the top. There was also a free shuttle up and down for those not able to make the short uphill hike to the summit. I would highly recommend this park and the sky meadow parkway for anyone who would like to enjoy the Canadian Rockies without crowds and with light to no hiking.

The new mini suspension bridge offers great views. Gravel trails make it tough for strollers. Pipe Mountain Coaster was fun with a short wait. I gave it 3 stars. There isn’t much for a family looking to sightsee.

Great time on the pipe coaster and the new suspension bridge is a nice and easy 0.5km hike from the upper gondola. The restaurant at the top has good food and amazing views. Buy the 3-attraction Adventure Pass online the day before for best value, you can then do the suspension bridge and both of the pipe coaster tracks.

Beautiful resort with lots of activities to have fun. Mountain coaster, Gondola, Mountain biking, hiking, swimming pool, hot tubs, saunas and great restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation here. Only negative is the noise from construction of a new building that starts at 7am until 5pm. When you get a room, ask them to be sure to give you a room away from that area. We couldn't have our door open or sit on the balcony because the noise was too loud.

Visited while passing through from Kamloops to Canmore. We were looking for a way to appreciate the mountains and this did not disappoint. We didn’t have a ton of time as it was a long driving day, but we took the gondola to the top and walked the High Line trail. It has a fantastic viewing platform and suspension bridge. All the staff we interacted with were so kind and welcoming. I would suggest buying tickets online prior to as there was a 10% savings on the admission we missed out on by buying ours at the counter upon arrival.

My husband and I had an amazing time at Revelstoke Mountain Resort! The gondola ride offered stunning views of the mountains and valley, and the mountain coaster was absolutely thrilling — fast, fun, and safe for everyone. The area is clean, well-organized, and surrounded by beautiful nature. A perfect place to enjoy adventure and relaxation in one spot.

First time visiting this place and we came from Edmonton. We purchased the 3 adventure pass cause I wanted to try the sightseeing, the coaster ride and the aerial place. The view was nice and cold, took a lot of pictures there. The coaster ride was nice actually, and apparently track 1 is best (you’ll just have to find out why) and the aerial was fun and tiring. Will definitely come back cause I haven’t really explored the small commons there

The pipe Coaster was a major highlight of our road trip. The gondal right to the top of the mountain was very scenic and felt like an additional experience on top of the coaster. Staff prioritized safety which was highly appreciated. My suggestion if you are going with a group is to put the faster riders (or who you think will be faster) and have them go first. Or when the light turns green for you to go, wait another minute. That way the person in front won't slow you down. Highly recommend this experience.

A must-visit for history and train lovers! The Revelstoke Railway Museum is a fascinating stop that brings the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway to life. It does an excellent job showcasing the monumental effort behind the construction and operation of the CPR through Western Canada’s rugged mountain regions. From vintage locomotives and railcars to detailed exhibits and historical artifacts, there’s so much to explore. One of the highlights is the locomotive simulator, which gives you a hands-on experience of driving a train — just bring a $2 coin to try it out! Whether you're a train enthusiast or just curious about Canada's railway history, this museum is absolutely worth the visit when you're in Revelstoke.

I’m not a great train lover but this museum was fabulous - lots of information about the building of the CP Railroad through the Canadian Rockies. There are old carriages to sit in and see the menus travellers of yesterday enjoyed. Plenty of videos to sit down and enjoy of the railroad from when you need a break from reading. Excellent and I’d revisit.

The museum tells the many stories of the Canadian Pacific railway in western Canada's mountains. Since opening in 1993, the museum has entertained hundreds of thousands of visitors. The many exhibits cover a variety of different aspects of the railway system. According to the museum, the average visit lasts about an hour and a half. We were there for 3 hours. The museum is wheelchair accessible, with ramps and an elevator to move between galleries. However, the heritage vehicles are not wheelchair accessible. The outdoor yard is partially paved and a covered gazebo is available. There are very clean restroom facilities inside the museum.

Excellent compact railway museum with an excellent telling of the history about Canadian Pacific railway. The mainline runs by the museum and carries freight trains. Remember to take a CAD2 coin to go on the simulator. The staff will exchange for a note if you’re not carrying change. The museum continues outside with locomotives and caboose (guard’s van) and has a decent souvenir shop.

I was surprised that there was so much to see! Enjoyed learning about the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway and Revelstoke's place in railway history. I especially enjoyed the models, which helped me understand the complexity of what it meant to build the railway

What a great little museum in the middle of Revelstoke! Very interesting to walk around, even inside one of the trains and outside too. One of the best museums we visited in Western Canada

Excellent museum. Plenty of history of the track through the Rockies. The carriages for passengers are a must to see. I especially loved the toilet. Make sure you do the outside as well.

What a great place to roam around. We are seniors And had a great time. We did take the nature walk and that was quite the trek. What goes down must come up. The whole forest is beautiful laid out. We took about 2 hours to go through the forest. At the end there is a duck pond and a fish pond and you can buy food for both

Almost 40 and this place was still magical. The staff are so lovely! Tall gorgeous cedars everywhere and tucked in amongst the beauty is little things from your childhood, every story I had heard growing up was infront of me. It was nostalgic and stunning, the detail that goes into this place is next level. There is a salmon run in the fall, you can walk the boardwalk trail and watch them swim down stream. They have a duck and rainbow trout pond you can buy food in the gift shop for them, the ducks will eat out of your hand! The trout are pigs and entertaining to watch! The nature walk is beautiful but up hill and not super awesome for a prairie chicken like me but was worth it for the pictures! The bathrooms were cleaner than most indoor places and they were outside and had running water! There is an adventure place within it for kids as well but even if you just do the enchanted forest you will be amazed! Highly recommend, this was by far the best thing on our trip itinerary! The gift shop was also reasonably priced, not a thing often seen in BC. Lots of trinkets and tshirts to look through!

Our visit to the Enchanted Forest was absolutely wonderful! It truly brought back so many childhood memories—walking through fairy tale displays, climbing treehouses, and exploring whimsical paths made us feel like kids again. There was so much to see and do, and every corner was filled with charm and creativity. We had so much fun taking pictures, discovering hidden spots, and just enjoying the nostalgic atmosphere. It’s a perfect place for both kids and adults to experience a bit of magic. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relive some childhood joy or just have a fun and unique day out!

We stopped at the Enchanted Forest in Revelstoke with our kids and they absolutely loved it! Walking through the forest full of fairy-tale houses, giant mushrooms, and storybook characters was pure magic for them. It’s such a fun and unique place for families, with so many little details that kept the kids excited the whole way through. A perfect stop to stretch your legs and make some wonderful memories!

Take your kids! It's such a magical place full of fairy tale characters in the forest. There is also a cute little pond with ducks and fish that the kids can feed. Absolutely loved it, will be stopping here regularly. Even if you dont have children, it's such a whimsical walk, there is also a nature path that is gorgeous.

This is such a cute roadside attraction. They bring childhood stories to life and most of the houses and such are interactive. There’s a 3 story tree house you can go up. The staff are so friendly and welcoming as well. Cute little gift shop at the end if you chose to or you can bypass that straight out. Takes about an hour to go through.

What a beautiful place, this forest seems like wonderland. The thought behind the creator for this shows a lot of creativity. They have turned things into beautiful leaves of art, tiny little sculptures ,homes ,and if you enter those homes then beddings and other little things. Good place to take your kids to. Highly recommend visiting this for once. You can see this within an hours time. On road and good enough parking space.

We had a great stay at Crazy Creek resort! The cabin accommodations exceeded our expectations, very clean and good use of space. Our unit had a small Kitchenette and breakfast bar, all equipped with the appliances needed - perfect for 2 people. Large windows provided lots of natural light and view of the gorgeous scenery and mountains. Large covered patio with picnic bench was perfect for lunch, evening dinner/ relaxing. We appreciated the private campfire pit. We hiked the surrounding area, eagle river and suspension bridge - not too far or strenuous, easy moderate walk, great for families. The hot pools were nice and offered different temperatures and a cold plunge, we enjoyed the adult quiet hour at night. The highway is very close by, but the noise wasn’t bothersome. Units were almost soundproof- very quiet at night. We will definitely come back again!

This was my first time at this resort and I had an INCREDIBLE experience! The resort was extremely beautiful and well-kept, staff was so friendly, and the overall experience was amazing. My favourite part was the hot pools which were great both during the day and at night. I also loved how many dog-friendly activities there were. It's a great spot for a couples getaway; I don't have kids but it was clear there's lots to do for kids and families as well. I will 100% be back again!

We had such a great time at Crazy Creek Resort! Our campsite was super spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We loved using the hot pools and the cold plunge—it was the perfect way to unwind. Our daughter and I had so much fun picking huckleberries right on the property, and the pump track was a huge hit too—we spent lots of time doing sweet tricks and enjoying the space. The whole resort is clean, well-maintained, and clearly run by people who care. It’s a great base for exploring the area, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!

First time to Crazy Creek and we will definitely be back! Our room was spacious with comfortable beds and cute decor. The staff were really friendly and the entire resort was really clean. We walked to the beach and saw the spawning salmon which was fun. The suspension bridge was unfortunately closed for the season but we will have to do thst next time we come. Only 30 minutes from Revelstoke which makes it a great location.

It’s long been on our bucket list to visit Crazy Creek Hot Pools Resort. We finally made it there, with our friends Susan and Mike. We enjoyed 2-nights in one of the newer 2-bedroom cabins, enjoyed the hot pools multiple times, dipped our feet into the cold plunge, and relaxed by the fire table on our deck. We also walked over the suspension bridge and went up and down approximately 230 steps to view the waterfalls from multiple viewing platforms. Our dogs had a staycation with Nana and Grandpa, but the cabins are dog-friendly and we would likely take them with us next time. There’s plenty of campsites also for camping and RVs. Plus there’s a nice walking trail around the property. We enjoyed our time here and will plan to visit again in the future.

Staff is always so welcoming and helpful, the pools are always very good for my physical health (hot and cold plunge) and we love having a firepit right outside our cabin door. This Thanksgiving weekend was no different than any other stay. The staff were so helpful. I kindly asked if frying pans should be in the rooms and mentioned that we didn't have one and by the time we got back to our cabin there were frying pans sitting outside our door. thank you for always being a wonderful weekend for my wife and I.

Beautiful spot with great amenities. We had a tough time getting our tent stakes into the ground because it was incredibly rocky ground, but other than that, fantastic. I will mention, the train came past and you could hear it on the tracks, as well as noise from the highway, but there were no train whistles at night and we didn't find it disruptive to our sleep. Clean facilities, great hot pools, and lots to do in the area. Great walking paths to the ruins of the old town that was here as well. We're considering coming back to check out the cabins next time, they looked really nice.

We stopped by on Monday for ice cream and really liked the place and atmosphere. Our toddler was quite entertained by the various tractors he could sit on and the baby cows he could watch. There was a lineup, but it only took about 10 minutes—so not too long. The staff was great and friendly, especially considering how busy they were. The ice cream was okay; lots of choices, we tried Sea Salt Caramel Cheesecake and Wild Berries. They were nice and creamy, which was great, but not very flavourful—even though cherry usually is. They also sell milk products, including milk and cheese. We didn’t have a chance to try them.

Stopped here on the way from Revelstoke — definitely worth it! The place was quite busy, and we waited about 10 minutes in line, but the huge selection of ice cream made from fresh farm milk was worth it. They also offer lactose-free options and refreshing sorbets, which is a big plus. The whole spot has a Dutch theme, with shelves full of waffles, chocolate, and cookies, along with their own dairy products straight from the farm. The property is large and well set up, with gazebos, washrooms, a store, and even a barn where you can see the cows. A fun stop for families and ice cream lovers alike!

We have been stopping by D Dutchmen for years. It's worth taking a break here from the drive to have some delicious ice cream. This is no tourist trap. The ice cream and sorbet are excellent here. My kids look forward to this stop on our way to the Okanagan. The washrooms are clean and another reason to stop by. If you feel up to it, pop across the street to Fruit World for some healthy snacks for the road.

I definitely recommend making a detour to D Dutchmen Dairy for their fresh, creamy ice cream. You can grab a pint or even a tub to take home. The ice cream is rich, full of flavor, and has that heavy cream taste that makes it stand out exactly how I like it. It does get very busy, so be prepared to wait in line, but it’s absolutely worth it once you get that first scoop. A true local gem and a must-stop when passing through Sicamous.

Great choice of ice cream! You can also find a variety of farm-made cheeses, milks, and fresh cream. There are even some lovely Dutch souvenirs such as ceramic tulips, kitchen towels, and, of course, authentic Dutch waffles.When my daughter accidentally dropped her ice cream at the cashier while we were paying, the cashier—before she even started to cry—immediately said they would bring her a new portion. That was such a kind gesture, and I’m very grateful for it. A public washroom is available, and there’s also a play area for children.

Dutchmen Dairy in Sicamous was a notable stop on our drive to Revelstoke. I had two scoops of ice cream, and the sea salt caramel cheesecake flavor was fantastic—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. They boast a wide variety of ice cream flavors, which is a major draw. However, on our return trip, I tried the Oreo and mango flavors, and both were a big disappointment. Not only did they lack the distinct Oreo and mango tastes I expected, but they oddly tasted the same, which was a real letdown. The place has a family-friendly atmosphere, with a nice seating area, a small play space for kids, and a barn where you can see cows and goats, which my family enjoyed. That said, the shop gets very crowded, and parking is a hassle. Hygiene was also an issue—there was a fly buzzing around, and the ice cream cones were left exposed without covers. Worst of all, stepping outside hits you with a strong smell of cow patties from the barn right behind the store, making it tough to enjoy your ice cream. Pricing for the scoops is fair: $5.25 for one giant scoop, $6.50 for two scoops, and $8.00 for three scoops. However, a waffle cone costs an extra $1.00, and a bowl adds $0.25, which feels a bit much for basic add-ons. The ice cream quality (when the flavor delivers) and family-friendly vibe are highlights, but the disappointing flavors, hygiene concerns, and overpowering barn smell really detracted from the experience. I’d recommend it for the standout flavors and kid-friendly activities, but they need to improve cleanliness, flavor consistency, and the odor issue.

An all-in-one stop for everyone. Family-run with a welcoming feel, great products and incredible up-close (no cost) experience of the ‘farm’. The ice cream, milk, cheese, butter, etc. is just an added bonus. Our kids loved coming ans it became a daily stop on our holiday.

Their calm and fun energy made the day feel smooth and stress-free—even when the weather decided to throw us a curveball! When the skies opened up with rain and even hail, they didn’t miss a beat. They jumped into action with their side-by-side, making sure everyone and everything stayed on track. They even went the extra mile to dry off all the ceremony chairs before guests arrived—truly above and beyond. And the venue itself? Absolutely breathtaking. The space was not only beautifully maintained but also offered stunning views in every direction. It’s hard to put into words just how special it felt to be surrounded by that kind of natural beauty while celebrating such an important day. We’re so grateful to Nicola, Chris, and the whole team for helping make our wedding unforgettable. Instead of going to Whistler, like I typically do, I decided to come in inland for a one week mountain biking trip. Though it was cold and rainy Silverstar mountain bike park is very impressive and easy to get around. The lines are short and all of the food and services is in one place. My only complaint is that all of the blue trails seem to be flow and there wasn’t enough just plain old old-school riding, but that might just be me looking for that. It was really nice to be able to park and just go and ride and eat something and do it all without wondering where to go .

It is situated in such a great spot! Great view! If you are lucky you will see wild animals roaming around. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great option for big families or a large group( 10-12). Service is great! Loved my stay here! My whole family had a joyous stay. I will definitely be back!

Have been coming out downhill biking here for a lot of years, very progressive park with something for everyone and well maintained, frequently changing things up rebuilding trails and building new ones, lift ticket prices aren't terrible compared to some resorts, ride cards nice for shorter trips especially having the extended play option. Have stayed in most of the accommodations, camped at the hill lots, nothing fancy just a parking lot but has power when we slug the travel trailer up or just standard with our rooftop tent, access to full facilities including showers. Couple fun pubs for some evening entertainment.

Amazing mtb riding. Not busy, tons of riding for everyone. Great facilities in the village. Lovely staff and a chill vibe. The trails were a bit rough because we were late in the season. Didn't put us off and rode till the body said no more ! Awesome place

Great bike park, fantastic experience on the mountain. The kids are really levelling up with the progression through the blues and blacks. Rental shop killed the experience unfortunately. My son is just outgrowing his 20 inch commencal, and the bigger features on pipe dream required a 24” full suspension. Day 1, rental bike and setup was great. Day 2, we rented the same bike, but it was not setup at all. We took 3 trips to the shop to attempt corrections. Bike continued to bottom out hard on the rear, no matter the corrections the shop made. Consider also that we only rode 7 laps of the park in a full day, so 3 trips to the shop is pretty frustrating. Day 3 when we picked up the bike I was told that there was nothing wrong on Day 2, and that I should stop messing with the suspension settings, as I was adjusting things backwards. At no time did I adjust anything, so this was pretty disheartening to hear, as it sounded like the shop believed it was my fault? Lesson learned, while the rental bikes are high quality, the service department, and rental department are not. No offers of a discounted rental on the second or third day, nothing was done to make it right. Knocked down my 5 star experience to a 3, at best. ***update*** The rental shop has been in contact, and has made everything right, even offering a refund for the rental. I trust the experience will be far better moving forward. Excellent customer service team, and perhaps just a bad day from an employee. Well done SIlverstar team.

Great place to ride downhill mtn bike. Smooth flowy trails for intermediate riders. Also prefer to ride at resorts that have a chairlift for riders instead of a gondola.

Neat place with lots of random stuff but main reason to stop are the pies! We stopped years ago and had the best pecan pie we've ever had. Glad to see the pies are still just as good. Got a fresh one to finish on the trip and a frozen one to take home.

Log Burn 1912 is a hidden gem with a warm and rustic vibe. From the moment you step in, you feel welcomed—the décor is charming, the staff are friendly, and the service is fast. The food and drinks are excellent, made with care and full of flavor. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a casual day out or a cozy gathering with friends and family. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a memorable spot to unwind!

Such a fun stop — and the BEST snacks! Log Barn is a hidden gem! We had the best time exploring the quirky displays, feeding the goats, and soaking in the peaceful country vibes. But let’s talk about the snacks — absolutely unbeatable! From the softest donuts to the most delicious pies, beef jerky, and fudge… we left with bags full of goodies (and zero regrets). Everything felt homemade and full of love. Highly recommend making a stop here — 5 stars all the way!

Had the best time here with my cousin and friend. We’re visiting from Los Angeles and loved the rustic charm of this place! So glad we stopped by on our way to Banff National Park! Definitely must try their fresh pies, buttery fudge, artisan cheeses, and their famous smoky Mennonite sausage. Outside, snap photos with life-size dinosaurs and soak in stunning BC countryside views. Whether it’s ice cream, local gifts, or a taste of rural Canada. We got to feed the goats and saw horses and bunnies too! Highly recommend! 😊

We had a wonderful experience here in a week! Where to even start? We'd been told about Log Barn 1912, but pictures just don't do it justice. Watching the goats meander up and down was a huge hit with everyone. And the statues! It’s this whole wild collection of creatures, including a lion and what looked like a dragon. It's so creative and unexpected. But the real magic for us was inside. We're big fans of good food, and the sausage and homemade desserts were the real deal. We grabbed a bunch of different items for dinner and a snack for the road, including some of their smoked cheeses, and everything was just delicious. You can really tell that they take pride in what they make. This place is a feast for the senses, and it's clear they've put so much thought into creating a unique experience. It’s like a road trip stop that felt more like a destination, and we were so glad we took the time to explore every corner. We'll be back for more of those wonderful pastries, for sure:))

Whether it's sunny or rainy, this place is definitely full of charm. Whenever passing by, one can't help but stop to admire it, feed sheep and chickens, buy ice cream to eat, and purchase hot dogs. It is an indispensable stop on a long journey

Great place for learning and fun for the entire family. Nice restaurant with good homemade bread and soups. Very helpful staff and clean bathrooms. So much to see and kids love the kids museum!! Gold panning was fun for all!

Great place to tour old buildings, relax in the gardens and go to the restaurant. It took us about 2 hours to go through all the buildings on site. After we went to the restaurant on site. Wasn’t too pleased with the meal. We got the salmon and vegetables which was the menu special which was $20. Very tasty but serving was small for the price. Also ordered the harvest sandwich which comes with ham and chicken with tomato and cheese and lettuce. The ham was not ready so substituted with roasted beef. The bread was a tad dry and was falling apart. Not happy with the overall meal. I gave a 5 star rating as the village was great but would give a 3 star for the restaurant

What a fun stop to make in Salmon arm, very kid friendly and welcoming. We got a village tour and tour of the heritage Haney house. We enjoyed the Spring of Heather tea garden as well

We went to the Cowboy Campfire Show with Rob Dinwoodie, Kevin, Dixon and the Cowboy poet and author Ken Mather. A great experience for all. They had everyone involved from the steer roping to singing. Such a perfect venue for evenings like that. I hope that they will be back next year. On top of all of that, the hamburgers were very tasty. Thanks so much to everyone.

Fantastic museum/heritage site/ghost town. My 8 and 3 year old had a fantastic time seeing all the old buildings and artifacts. We took one of the tours of the town and the guide was knowledgeable, my family really enjoyed it. Everything was extremely clean and well kept. We’ve been to Salmon Arm many times and I wish someone would have told us about this sooner. If you enjoy the Three Valley Gap Ghost town, this should be added too your holiday itinerary.

We attended the Murder Mystery Wedding Edition. It was so much fun. Moving from scene to scene was different than normal plays and much nicer than just sitting in one place for the whole show. The actors were great and did a good job. The meal was wonderful and plentiful. We sure would go to another of these.

We had our wedding ceremony at R.J. Haney Heritage Village this fall and we could not have been happier with the venue. Tara was great to work with and got back to our questions quickly and always had answers. She was accommodating with our vision and worked with us to set up exactly what we wanted. Tara showed us multiple places we could perform the ceremony and when we picked one, she was able to organize what we were hoping for. The added benefit of set up and take down was so helpful to alleviate stress on the day and she they let us show up as early as we needed for rehearsal and on the day. The grounds were flawless and beautiful allowing so many great photos and our guests loved walking around the houses and buildings when my wife and I were busy. Everyone said how unique and beautiful our location was. I could not recommend R.J. Haney Heritage Village, Tara, and the rest of the people who helped out enough.

I’ve been to this hospital on many occasions and generally have had an alright experience. The nurses are wonderful! Today, however, was the 2nd time in a week that I have been in for throwing up blood (among other symptoms), the nurses were very clearly concerned about my well-being. The doctor, however, was very clearly in a rush. Literally ran in the room, spoke over me, didn’t listen to a word I said. Essentially told me to go see my family doctor and left. The absolute worst doctor experience I have ever had. I cried the entire way home. I’ve been having a TON of health related issues and have really been struggling. The nurses were so understanding and I could tell they were genuinely worried about me. The female doctor on staff today could not have cared less. I understand they are busy, but the least they can do is actually listen to what you’re saying after you’ve been sitting there for hours. The worst part is she claimed my bloodwork was all “completely fine”, but since getting home and looking at my results online, it seems there are a few abnormalities that could point to some serious issues. Definitely won’t be going back.

I needed antibiotic IV treatment from Friday until Tuesday over the August long weekend. The emergency department was slammed with ambulances & folks coming in needing urgent help. Sitting and watching the staff work through the full waiting rooms was really admirable. The doctors and nurses deserve all the credit in the world! They also deserve more understanding and empathy from patients in my opinion. Great job staff! You should be proud of all you do to help Salmon Arm in emergency situations! Thank you for all your help over the weekend, I truly appreciate it! Keep up the great work!

This hospital is very under staffed and because of that they are unorganized and unprofessional. They lost my father in-law in his own room and he missed his surgery. They then transferred him to another hospital without notifing family members, they were unable to even know where they sent him. We had to call hospitals in the area to find which ICU unit he was in. Run away from this hospital before you become a "salmon arm special" from their operating room. ☆☆☆Formal complaint has been submitted and elevated to executive level already.☆☆☆

TERRIBLE! this hospital has to be the worst one i’ve ever been too . Me and my boyfriend went two times first time we had to leave as we waited for 6 hrs and got no medical attention and i had to bandage him at home . And second time we waited at triage for 20 min before the lady even opened the window and attended to us . If i could give this hospital a zero star i would for staff and attentiveness. Terrible terrible .

My Familydoctor send me to the Hospital. I meet Dr. Gretchen Snyders, she was so lovely and so nice. I hope she will there more offen.

Worst place for any medical help, takes 4 to 5 hours as always to get helped by a nurse. Really worst place to be at if your Really sick and need help fast, they gonna make you wait for hours. This place is very understaffed and staff is very unprofessional and unorganized.

Had 3 ultrasounds here whilst pregnant with my second child. The techs and staff were so friendly and informative.

It's one of my favorite places in Salmon Arm. In the heart of Salmon Arm take a boardwalk stroll on the longest curved inland wharf in North America. The wharf is a great place to watch the local wildlife and take in the beautiful Shuswap Lake. Perfect plan to clear your mind and get some fresh air. This is such a beautiful location. I really recommend this place.

The Salmon Arm wharf was gorgeous. We went on BC Day, so it was pretty chill. We walked through downtown, but most stores were closed for the holiday. Which was actually kinda nice, lots of parking, and we window-shopped...lol. Some small restaurants were open. The buildings and planter boxes were beautiful and worth the walk. If you need a washroom, Askew grocery store has one! Askews was super cute and had lots of cool stuff, like organic products. I totally recommend walking around downtown Salmon Arm and down to the waterfront. It was a great day with beautiful surroundings!

A beautiful and peaceful lakeside walk! Visited Salmon Arm Wharf for the first time and absolutely loved it. The views of Shuswap Lake are stunning, especially at sunset, and the boardwalk is clean, spacious, and easy to walk. It’s the longest wooden wharf in North America, a great spot for photos, birdwatching (saw lots of Western Grebes), or just enjoying the calm. The nearby park adds to the relaxing vibe, with plenty of space to sit and take in the scenery. A must-visit if you're in the area — peaceful, scenic, and full of charm.

This is a gorgeous pier to go on a walk at and admire the sights. When I came, it was not busy at all. I wish I knew about this area sooner, so could have come more often.

Visit : July 3,2025 The walk there was amazing especially in good weather. There is a small takeout caffe or restaurant at the end of the Wharf which provides good food for reasonable prices. Huge paid parking available around the Wharf and if you’re in Salmon Arm then you must visit the Wharf.

Beautiful venue! We went there for a fundraiser/barn dance and had a wonderful time!! The band, Barney Bentall, Dustin Bentall and Trixie Bentall were outstanding, as usual. They played a 90 minute set of original music and some hits. They also stayed and played some fiddle music for the barn dance! The event was really well organized. Refreshments for purchase included non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, smokies and vegetarian smokies, and peach and blueberry pies.

I have to say that this summers show is absolutely BRILLIANT and hilarious...worth every moment to make the trip to Armstrong and see this show it is fun for all ages and takes Shakespeare to a whole new level. Excellent performance and exquisite use of current and music from different generations.THIS IS A MUST SEE THIS YEAR...there will be no regrets for this experience...and it truly is an experience. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time. Thank YOU Caravan for continuing to do such amazing work...Make this one of your summer plans and support such an amazing art. Myles

Cant speak for any other events they do, but the halloween walk with the mp3 players was incredibly boring. I find it hard to feel immersed with a pair of headphones on, you must go at a set pace which is up to interpretation, and the actors are not dynamic. They do the same thing in the same spot all night. Cool if youre 5 years old, thats about it.

Very well done, superb talent and production. I've been to several shows, always a great time. We're very lucky to have such a high quality, unique experience in our area. If you've never gone, you have to try it - you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended

Just no don't waste your money or your time, did the Halloween walk "labyrinth"... with headphone and an MP3 player. Walking at a pace that is up for interpretation. So nothing you were listening to made any sense. The people in front of us kept stopping to kiss and do whatever it was they were doing. First 5 to ten minutes you walk across an empty field. Then up into the edge of the forest. Bright white lights pointing into your face then some red ones I think we seen 5 maybe six actors at best. Not scary at all. I think maybe a young child might enjoy it. Its expensive and just not worth it.

Did the Labryinth Halloween walk and it was very underwhelming for the price. Nothing jumping out at you, nothing overly scary. The audio was alright but still not worth over $100.00 for two of us. We only saw about 4 actors throughout the 3km walk and didn’t jump once. This was our first time here and don’t think we’ll be back.

I usually go each year for the Walk Of Terror at Halloween. Its a great experience, really well done and well put together. This year's theme Labrinth did not disappoint.

We had a marvelous time on our Farm to Flask tasting. Our hostess was very gracious and well-informed. We learned a lot about the process of distilling fine spirits and bought four bottles to take with us. We were very impressed with how everything is sourced locally and how they have found a valuable use for "seconds" apples that are fine but aren't quite "cosmetically good enough" for store shelves. We were also impressed by how all byproducts of the process are composted or given to farmers to feed their animals. It is very impressive and the finished product is top quality.

Stopped here on a road trip through the Okanagan. Very nice tasting room in Vernon, friendly and knowledgeable staff and most importantly very tastey Whiskey. Left with the BLK BRBN Cask Strength but the rye and single malt were also very good.

This distillery was beautiful. The shop front looked nice and we were so glad to be able to stop by. We didn’t do any tastings because we were driving but would have loved to try some of what they had to offer someday. We got ourselves their small bottles of gin/vodka/whiskey as well as a cocktail smoker set. Can’t wait to try it out.

OkanaganSpirits Craft Distillery makes two bourbon style whiskeys that are at least equal but I believe superior to anything from Tennessee or Kentucky-BRBN and Whisky Hunter: Nectar of the Gods. If you are in Vernon or Kelowna, go for a tasting. If the B.C. government would do the right thing and rightfully provide B.C. distillers with the same support as BC wineries, you would be able to find these on B.C. Liquor Store shelves while they are empty of US whiskeys. We all need to advocate for 100% BC farm to bottle products.

We did a tour and a tasting of the distillery with Andrew, and it was fantastic. Excellent spirits and very informative. I would highly recommend coming here if you are even remotely interested in how spirits are made. All the staff are friendly and willing to answer questions. Thanks again Andrew for a great tour and tasting.

We had such a lovely time at Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery in Vernon. We did a tour with Andrew, who was amazing! The tour was the perfect balance of learning about the fascinating history of the distillery and tasting the whiskey. The whiskey choices were varied in flavour and the tasting did a good job of going through the different flavour profiles. The distillery is a welcoming space- I saw kid's toys and a lovely shop, so even if you yourself are not a whiskey fan, it's still a great experience!

Loved the experience and Steph. She made us feel right at home gave us some cocktail ideas and we came away with an assortment of sprints that we would not have tried or bought had it not been for her creativity. Thank you

What a cool little space! Tons of honey related products for sale and a really fun little learning space for kids. I really liked seeing the indoor hives and trying to find the queen bee. I also really liked the sample honey bar where you could get a sense of what all the different types of honey tasted like. highly recommend if you have even just a little sweet tooth.

We really loved this boutique honey farm. They have so many varieties of local honey and gifts to get as souvenirs! You get to taste honey!! It was a first time experience for us. Loved the entire vibe and atmosphere. A must visit for all those travelling as tourists to the area!!

Love this honey farm! Their honey shop was so fun. You‘ll find a wide variety of bee products, including honey honey, honey wines, beeswax candles, various skincare and wellness products. Don’t miss the generous honey tasting bar! They also have an educational area for kids, displaying some key appliances and even a large honeycomb. I highly recommend it to everyone visiting Vernon.

If you have kids this is a cool place to visit. They have activities for the kids. Their garden is just little niches surrounding the parking lot. There are bee hives around so bee aware lol 😆 the gift shop is definitely the highlight. They have everything from honey, tea, kit hen items, gifts etc. There is also a free meal tasting and a tasting area for the various flavors of honey they make. There is an indoor hive as well that you can see the hive and the girls working hard. See if you can spot the queen!

We visited the Planet Bee Honey Farm when we visited a friend for her graduation. We loved our time at the Farm. The bees were active and the flowers were beautiful and we got to experience it at its peak. The staff was very knowledgeable and had fun showing us where the queen bee was and explaining to us about the inner workings. I did the mead tasting and the women who led the tasting was also very knowledgeable and engaging. It tasted lovely and we left with a couple bottles. The honey tasting was also pretty cool and we brought a few jars home too. This was a really great experience and thing to do and we recommend it to all ages, families, girls trips and all!

Checked out Planet Bee Honey Farm. They have all things honey related. Mead bottles are $15.00 to $40.00. Loved that you can sample two dozen honey flavours; favourites were the chai, peach and iced glacé. The salad dressing/sauces/marinades were also tasty. - Mead tasting - complimentary tasting of four meads; Okanagan delight, melaina’s muse, ode to Odin and nectar of the sun. - Peach honey ($12.00 for 500g) - very peachy. Sweet Little Stop with Lots to See! Planet Bee Honey Farm is a great place for a quick and fun stop! We enjoyed exploring their mini garden filled with bee trivia—perfect for kids and adults alike. They have a lovely selection of gifts, souvenirs, and even honey wine to sample and bring home. It’s a charming spot to learn a little, shop a little, and enjoy the buzz of the bees. We had such a wonderful time at Davison Orchards — it’s truly one of the best family-friendly places to visit! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and ready to help. You can really feel that they love what they do and take pride in making visitors feel at home. The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and homemade. We especially loved the pies, apple juice, and farm-to-table meals at the café. You can tell everything is made with care using local ingredients. The farm animals were another highlight! The kids (and even us adults) had so much fun feeding and petting them. It’s such a great experience to get close to the animals and learn a bit about farm life. The views of the orchard and surrounding hills are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed exploring the farm market and picking up some local goodies to take home. Overall, Davison Orchards is a must-visit spot if you’re in Vernon or anywhere nearby. We visited this place over the summer, and it’s one of the best family-friendly place. The farm market and orchard are absolutely beautiful. The views of the orchard and surrounding areas were mesmerizing. We also enjoyed exploring the farm market and taking the tour — the guides were knowledgeable and very friendly. We got to pick some apples, which were juicy and delicious! Since it wasn’t the main picking season, we couldn’t do much picking, but we did get some fresh apple juice and sauces — everything was so flavorful and delicious.

We just visited Davison Orchards a few days ago for the first time. What an amazing place!! Our whole family enjoyed the 3 hours we spent there. From the amazing farm cafe, frozen apple juice, orchard tour and touring the grounds and markets. It is beautiful scenic place to visit. Highly recommend!!

Lovely place, plenty of activities for kids and adults, food is delicious but pricey. Atmosphere is amazing, tours and pick your own fruit is fun and must do activity. Personnel is friendly, the place is clean and we do visit this orchard every time we are in Vernon.it can get crowded on weekends and you might have challenging time findind parking. Overall I highly recommend it.

A bit of a drive to come here from Penticton but totally worth it, especially in fall season! Lots of photo opportunities, and lots of fresh produce to buy directly where it's grown. Huge store with all kinds of cute stuff for home and gifts that alone is worth visiting! Delicious ice cream where they blend actual fruit of your choice (blueberry was yum and a very generous portion!). And we got to see some farm animals! They offer tours around the orchards but the last one is at 4pm and we came at 5.

We had such an amazing time at Davison Orchards this fall! 🍂🎃 The pumpkin patch was absolutely beautiful — so many sizes and colors to choose from! The fall foliage around the farm made the whole place look magical and perfect for photos. 🍁✨ We enjoyed walking around, picking our pumpkins, and just soaking in the cozy autumn vibes. The staff were friendly and everything was well-organized. Definitely one of the best spots to experience the fall season — we’ll be back again next year! 🧡

We planned our holiday around visiting Davison Orchards. It is an amazing place, and fantastic if you have young kids. This was our second visit. The first was when our son was 6 and this time he is 13. We have such great memories of this place. If you go, definitely do the tractor train ride. You get to pick and eat the most current crop that is ready. The first time, we ate corn on the cob picked directly from the plant and it was amazing! This time we picked delicious apples. The tour guides are knowledgeable and very friendly. The frozen apple juice is delicious so we bought a big jug of it to take on our road trip. The sandwiches are delicious too and the peaches… I bought a big box to share with friends when we got home. We love this place!

It was an awesome experience! Perfect run for it being my first time on a white water raft, and the kids loved it. Dakota and the crew did a fantastic job! Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I went rafting with this company and had an absolutely amazing time! They truly do an incredible job. It was my first time ever going rafting, and I couldn’t have picked a better experience. The river was perfect for beginners; fun, friendly and not overwhelming but definitely not boring either. Bruce and Matt added just the right touch of spice to make it exciting without ever making us feel unsafe. They clearly love what they do and it shows. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a mix of fun, adventure, and great vibes!

We had such an amazing time with Adam’s River Rafting! Our guide, Josh, was absolutely fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe and had fun the whole trip. I went with my mom, my two kids, and my two nieces, and it was the perfect mix of excitement and laughs for all ages. The scenery was gorgeous, the water was refreshing, and Josh kept the energy high while pointing out interesting sights along the way. This was such a memorable family experience, and we can’t wait to come back next summer! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, family-friendly adventure.

We had a group of 11 and were celebrating a birthday. What an amazing experience! Guides were fabulous and the pictures they captured were epic! Josh and Matt were great. They were full of knowledge and ensured everyone had a blast. Highly recommend this!

World class adventure , we are a family sitting on the front me I’m white my wife is Filipino at front and our son Daniel is 9 he is sitting front center. Professional safety standards the guide Bruce was amazing. Class 3 rapids was phenomenal. Learn rapids and have fun!

Josh, our guide was awesome. And Dave our bus driver was great and took some great photos. The rafting experience was totally awesome. We did a little cliff diving, swam in the rapids, got some great waves. It was well worth the time. Thank you Adams River Rafting crew.

Absolute blast with the family. The river is super warm for Canada and this is pretty tame compared to the Kicking Horse or other more intense options, so excellent for anyone that might be a bit apprehensive. Totally safe for kids and older folks. But it was super fun, there's time to swim, jumping off a little cliff, and even some first nations history. Good outfit. My kids loved it.

We saw lots of Chinook salmon today. More then I've ever seen in the river. No Sockeye though. They probably arrive later. The lady at the information booth was very friendly and helpful.

We were visiting family in Sun Peaks who been dog sledding last year and loved it. We went on the hour long tour and can say it was the highlight of our holiday. Chris collected us from the village and drove us up to the base. All of the dogs are clearly loved and well cared for and enjoy their work pulling the sleds. We had time to meet and stroke our sled team before the tour and then afterwards time to stroke all the dogs and meet the amazing litter of puppies - just adorable!! Travelling through the forest was simply breathtaking and we stopped at the lake for photos. Our guides Tempe and Andrew were friendly, informative and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend this experience - thank you all so much for such a special and unforgettable experience!

We had amazing experience with Mountain Man Dog Sled Adventures. Taryn made a last minute booking very easy. Chris was very friendly and knowledgeable. Liam made our sled ride enjoyable. The scenery was magnificent. But it’s the dogs that steal the show. They clearly love being on the trail and there was plenty of time to interact with them after. Meeting the puppies was also a highlight. We would recommend the experience. Chris and his team clearly love the dogs and the experiences they create for guests.

Joe took us on a fun Jeep tour through the Sun Peaks mountain range, including to McGillivray Lake, and a couple other lake spots. It was beautiful scenery the whole time, and we saw some wildlife on the drive! Joe is very knowledgeable about the area and can answer all your questions. And we appreciate Taryn's help to book us specially before the official tourism season begins - thank you!

Our dog sled expedition was absolutely incredible! The dogs were well-trained and full of energy, and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. The stunning winter landscapes made the ride feel like something out of a dream. Everything was well-organized. I booked the ‘ Into the Wild Dog Sled Tour’ for a unique birthday experience. This was a great experience! The dogs are so friendly and love what they do! The owners are really passionate about their dogs and ensure they are healthy and well looked after. A great company and experience overall!

The Monte Creek winery has a wonderful tasting room. The big glass windows really give it a nice atmosphere. The grounds are well manicured. The outdoor patio is a good size. Friendly and pleasant staff.

Awesome wines, beautiful views, and the food totally hit the spot. Everyone on the staff was friendly and made the whole experience even better. A good place to hang out with friends during summer time.

Mmmm, the wine, oh the wine! 4 healthy samples of your choice and a charcuterie board. We ended up taking 4 bottles home. Great selections and all flavourful and tasty. No bombs in our selection and some great stories behind them! Ask about “hands up” and you’ll see a movie in the making.

Plan your wedding here! Not only was it the absolute best spot for an knockout view, the shaded trees and stunning lawn made for a incredible setting for our wedding ceremony! Coordinating with the Event team was a breeze and every detail was taken care of. Our guests enjoyed a perfect afternoon and I couldn't ask for anything more!

I recently had my wedding ceremony at Monte Creek Winery and it was wonderful! They've had some turnover in event coordinators so I worked with a few different people throughout the planning process but they were all very helpful, responsive, and flexible with figuring out all the little details. The wedding was beautiful and everyone loved the wine selections for the cocktail hour. The Living Land Sparkling Rosé in particular was a big hit!

Went to the wine club pick up party last night. Have to say the staff and catering company did an amazing job. Amazing food by Sage & Plate and very friendly and courteous staff. And of course amazing wine. Great job Monte Creek Winery. Another happy member.

Visited in September. BC Wildlife Park was a sweet and memorable stop. Loved seeing the rescued animals—they looked safe and well cared for, which was really heartwarming. Owl Talk was a definite highlight! Getting up close to such a beautiful bird was amazing. The observation hive was super cool too. The spirit bear is the standout, but no luck spotting it this time. Still, a lovely visit overall.

We had such an amazing time at BC Wildlife Park. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better. Unfortunately, we missed the train ride, but there was still so much to see and enjoy. The park is very family-friendly, with great facilities for all ages. One highlight for me was seeing the cougar laying right at the gate, such a beautiful moment! Also, I absolutely loved the honey in the gift shop definitely worth picking up a jar.

We absolutely love the place. They only have rescued animals and the have signs telling you the story of each animal plus really interesting facts about that animal species. We went in a hot sunny summer day so recommend to bring a hat and a ton of sun screen. The splash zone they have was a blast that gave us some relief from the hot weather. We were able to see so many animals (recommend checking the feeding schedule), we love the bears they have in particular the white one which is only found in BC. They have some timings for you to go a pet some goats and sheep they have, they even provide brushes which are like a spa for the animals, they love to be pet and are super friendly and cute

A bit disappointed by the facilities. Needs renovations. The train 🚂 was not running unfortunately. Off season prices too expensive. When we arrived at 10:30am there was almost no animals out it felt very strange, like an abandoned old zoo. Later on we saw more but some of the cages were not looking very clean. The birds section was great. It is nice to have the story of the rescue of each animal. They definitely should replace most of the fences by glasses. Not that much of “wild” animal.

Visited BC Wildlife Park on Canada Day, and despite the hot weather, we had a wonderful time. We got to see a variety of animals, including the bear, which was a highlight. Though not as many animals as you'd expect from a zoo since this is wildlife refuge. The little train ride was a fun and relaxing way to explore the park, especially for kids. One of the best features on a hot day was the water sprinklers, the kids had a blast cooling off and running through them. The park is well laid out with shaded areas and great for families. A fun, educational, and refreshing day out, highly recommended!

This is such an extraordinary place to go. There's a vast amount of things to learn, and Animals to see. It took about an hour to walk around the park, but was very easy for me even with a bad hip. The grizzlys were super interactive as well. Definitely worth the drive. I'll be coming back with my kids.

We visited late on a hot July afternoon and only had 1.5 hrs to tour. As expected, it was hit and miss with seeing the animals in their enclosures, and at that time of day we had the park pretty much to ourselves. That said, everything appeared to be well laid out, well signed, and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the birds of prey exhibit, and noted there is a family farm where visitors can interact with farm animals. Judging from the sandwich board sign of the day’s activities it is better to arrive in the morning to take advantage of feedings and demonstrations.
