We love walking through Martello Alley anytime we are in town. There are so many pieces of art to look at - at all different prices! The staff is always so kind here.

My favorite spot in the Kingston area. This is definitely a hidden gem worth checking out! If you love art or not it’s such a unique space with so much creativity from many different local artists! The owners are so kind and passionate about what they do which makes this place extra special.

Such a beautiful and unique place! My daughter and I spent the afternoon exploring and taking in the wonderful atmosphere of this little jewel. We will definitely be back next time we're in Kingston.

I don't know where to start with this review, I'm so amazed and intrigued with everything about this place and the people who work and display their talents here. I have never walked into an art studio and been more awestruck with so many vibrant pieces on display. No matter where I looked there were displayed exceptionally created works of art. I know I will be back to find something special for myself very soon. The staff are most knowledgeable and love to talk with meaning. This small review does nothing to show the strong impression they have left with me. Thank you again for a wonderful experience

Good Things 1. Great location, really close to downtown and the 1000 Islands and even ferries. 2. You can easily walk to a lot of nearby spots. 3. The housekeeping and room service staff were very nice and helpful. 4. One of the staff even brought me a duvet and set up the couch bed for me, which I really appreciated. Bad Things 1. The balcony and chairs were not clean at all. 2. We booked two rooms and asked to be on the same floor, but they didn’t arrange that. 3.The breakfast was too simple and not worth it. Better to skip it and grab something from a local café instead, especially if you’re young and want something better. 4. I couldn’t connect my phone to tv! They need new tvs, they are outdated.

This is a great location Easy to area to walk around Loved having a balcony. Stayed on the Riverview side on our way to Ottawa and the Harbor view on our way back to Toronto. Preferred the Riverview. Think it was a bit cheaper too. If one's preference is to look at the docked boats pick the Harborview Stayed 3 nights going and then 2 nights . The one disappointment was we left the sign out to please do the room and went out for the day. Left at 10 am and came back at 5pm. Room was not done. Sign still on the door. Just wondering why there are those signs if someone doesn't come. Really needed towels and garbage removed The breakfast offered is a plus.. Great choice of food and great staff working there in morning.

Excellent location with beautiful lake-view rooms and relaxing amenities. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the pool area was very pleasant. The bar was a highlight, especially the cozy tables with fire features. The downside was the restaurant: prices felt high and the food didn’t meet expectations for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, great stay for the views, pool, and bar; consider dining off-site for better value

We had a nice visit to Kingston on a late August day. We had a suite with a balcony and water view which was great. The room was clean and the view was stunning. We also had dinner at the Wharf and Feather restaurant out on the patio. The portions were quite tasty and large. We had the tuna tacos and fish and chips.

The hotel’s public reply to my earlier review is misleading. At check-in, we clearly informed the front desk that we did not use or need the car park. We never entered the carpark, which can be verified by CCTV footage. Yet, the hotel still charged us twice for parking (CAD 33.90 × 2) and later admitted the mistake in writing. They only refunded the charges after I escalated the case to IHG head office and posted two Google reviews — not before. Prior to that, all my emails and calls were ignored for weeks. Instead of taking full responsibility, the hotel’s public reply now tries to distract from their own admitted errors. They tried to imply that I was obliged to pay. This experience shows extremely poor communication and accountability. Guests should double-check all charges carefully.

The cleanliness of the room I was in wasn't up to 4 star standards. The sink has a buildup of grime under the lip. Just gross. There were fingerprints on the doors smudged and grimy. The bathroom was dusty and the door had not been cleaned in a while along with the dusting and cleaning in the washroom. The clean up staff were in the hall with a multitude of carts at 9am check out day. I found this not in keeping with a four star experience. The pool area has no wash up area. It has a shower area with no privacy at all. It is obvious that the vacuuming in the room was done overall with zero attention to detail. The sliding door had fingerprints on it. I was unpleasantly surprised to find that I got texts for unnecessary promotions at the hotel. I was also advised that parking is an add on costing $30 more per day. Front desk staff are very nice.

Nice downtown hotel with updated rooms with plenty of space, a mini fridge and a microwavd and a great location close to the cruises but since it's close to restaurants and bars, the noise levels were intense at times in the hotel and outside. The ac/heater is noisy when it kicks on and the pillows were way too soft. The parking pricing is ludicrous at $30/ night for hotel guests and $40/day for non guests. Service for check-in and checkout was simple and effortless.

Fabulous place to head up to watch the sunset. We went on the haunted walk at night which was relatively cool except we had a young person as part of the tour maybe 10 or 11 years old who didn't follow any of the rules repeatedly made noise and Flash their flashlight which really ruined the ambience and the parents weren't doing much about it. Lots of cool spiders though!

Good place for half day trip. Although, entry ticket is high compared to fort size and being national heritage size. Many restaurants inside the fort. Fort itself is well maintained and you can get free tour guide who explains different areas. Good collection of old guns, swords and some old cannons. Actors performing soldiers are very good and take their parts very active and seriously. They have good performances going on entire day which includes canon firing and gun firings. Overall good walk around the fort.

Amazing history and a wonderful tour! We watched the guards marching and rehearsing, and they demonstrated the use of musical instruments, signals, and drums — we even had a chance to play the drums ourselves. The guards also demonstrated the firing of guns. The fort has many rooms on display, and the gift shop offers freshly baked bread from an on‑site oven. It was a very educational and memorable experience!

Fort Henry was such a cool experience! The historic atmosphere, the costumed guides, and the live demonstrations (like the cannon firing and marching) really brought history to life. Great views over the lake and Kingston too. It’s fun for both adults and kids – especially the museum section and the tunnels. Totally worth the visit if you're anywhere near Kingston!

A fantastic experience that is well worth the visit. Tickets are a little pricy but its made up for with fantastic staff that are all very knowledgeable about the fort and the history of it plus the live drills they perform. On top of this the views offered from the fort are breathtaking. I'd argue this is thee place to visit for anything historical about Kingston if you only had one place you could visit, this would be the one I would choose hands down.

To be fair before I begin, when we visited we were in the middle of a crazy hot period in the summer (heat warnings were in place) and a lot of Fort Henry is open and exposed, so our enjoyment may have been muted a little bit. Aside from the heat however, the tour and experience was very satisfying. The guided tour was somewhat informative although our guide seemed a little newer as he didn’t have answers for all questions asked. The costumed staff were a nice touch, however more context on who they were or what their function was during the period was would have been nice. Bistro and shops seemed out of place and not fitting with the historical significance of the Fort which detracted from the visit. More information and context would have been nice.

This was first time back at Fort Henry since I was a kid back in 1996. The fort still looks the same. This was also my family’s first time visiting. We did the guided tour & the guide was a young lady who I can’t remember her name was so very knowledgeable, took time explaining everything in simple terms for the kids to understand. Only downside was the group was very large so it was a bit hard to hear her voice & see some of the places inside the fort. The canon firing was awesome to see & so was the other demonstrations & the final drum parade was amazing. One other thing the guide or the ticket agent didn’t mention was to stay off the canons so don’t climb on them or you will get yelled at by the staff as it happened to a few people.

Nice area to walk around and get a history lesson. Parking was a little confusing, didn’t really see the signs in front of the building until we were walking up.

Picture yourself enjoying this view on a breezy summer afternoon, walking around a cozy harbor. Seagulls flying, sailboats off in the distance, and plenty of space to enjoy your own experiance. Lots of history, the walking path is easy to negotiate, and a variety of parking is available. Truly a Hallmark experiance.

We have always loved the charming construction if Sackets Harbor but never took time to explore some of its unique historical sites. We were impressed by the guided walkway that led you on a self guided tour with beautifully detailed maps and signs about the historical facts of each location. There was a "secret" trail down one side that led to a hidden rocky beach and 'sea caves' as dubbed by my niece who enjoyed adventuring along the rocky outcroppings with the dogs looking for "treasure" haha. All of the monuments were thoughtfully plaved and respectful. The walkways made it an easy path for anyone who may struggle on more rigorous hikes. There were plenty of benches to stop a d admire the scenery and views of the lakes and islands. We just wish it hadn't been such a rainy day but we still enjoyed our spring explorations.

If you're looking for something to do and enjoy little bits of history knowledge or even just a nice scenic walk, this place is quite nice. I'm not huge into history but it was rather nice learning about all that happened right here! I'm a little bummed that we didn't look more at where horse island was but it was neat learning about all of it. It's a nice walking path around and the view on the water is lovely too! Stroller friendly!

Today my partner and I went on a double date with our mutual friends to the Windward Restaurant (the restaurant attached to the casino). I’m new to the area, so it’s only my second time dining at the Windward. The prices are super fair for the food quality and portion size. They have a moderate selection of food with lots of comfort food choices. Their selection includes pizza, pasta, sandwiches, burgers, salads, appies, and a few other items. They have a large selection of cocktails as well. Additionally, our server Mark W. was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, and had great timing. He would check in with us at all the right moments without feeling overbearing. Overall, I would say this restaurant is a hidden gem and a must try if you’re visiting Gananoque, ON.

To: Management, Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands Subject: Formal Complaint – Unacceptable and Unprofessional Experience on July 20, 2025 Dear Shorelines Casino Management, I’m writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment with the unacceptable level of service I received during my visit to your Gananoque location on the evening of July 20, 2025. I have been a loyal patron of your casino since the day it opened. Over the years, I’ve witnessed a steady decline in both the professionalism of your staff and the overall customer experience — but what happened during my most recent visit crossed a line I never thought I’d see in an established gaming facility. At around 7:30 p.m., I approached the cashier’s cage to cash out $125 in chips. I waited for over 12 minutes with absolutely no staff in sight. Eventually, I noticed a sign saying someone would return at 7:45 p.m. — meaning a single guest, at the end of their evening, is expected to wait 15 minutes (or longer) just to cash out. This is not a corner store — it’s a casino. And leaving a cashier’s cage unattended during operating hours is not only unprofessional, it’s absurd. When I flagged down a manager — a woman with dark hair and heavily tattooed arms — her response was equally appalling. Rather than apologizing or making any effort to assist, she became defensive and dismissive, telling me the cashier was on her 15-minute break and that they “don’t have the staff.” I told her I had already been waiting nearly 20 minutes, and that this was simply unacceptable — to which she offered no solution, no accountability, and certainly no professionalism. Let me be clear: it is not the customer’s responsibility to adjust to your staffing shortages. And it is not acceptable for a guest to wait half an hour to cash out, only to be met with attitude and excuses from a manager. If this is how your leadership handles a simple service breakdown, it’s no wonder the experience at this casino has deteriorated so badly. The message this sends is loud and clear — your staff’s time matters, but your guests’ time does not. That is a fatal flaw in any service industry, let alone one that relies on customer loyalty. After decades of visiting your casino, I will not be returning. I hope you take this feedback seriously, because what I experienced was not just poor service — it was a complete failure of basic operational and managerial competence. 0/10 D-

I recently visited this casino, and I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience. The security guards, Jay and Nicole, were extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of ensuring guest safety or providing assistance, they seemed more interested in trolling guests and making snarky comments. What’s worse is how contradictory their behavior was to the casino’s own policies, which are clearly posted on the signboard at the bottom of the front desk. The board states that guests will be treated with respect and that all concerns will be handled professionally. Yet, Jay and Nicole did the exact opposite — dismissive, rude, and completely lacking in customer service skills. When I tried to address the issue or speak with a manager, I was met with attitude and zero accountability. It’s disappointing to see employees who act above the rules the casino itself claims to enforce. If management truly cares about their reputation, they should retrain their staff or reconsider who represents their brand at the front line. Until that happens, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere — and I suggest others do the same.

Went here with a friend and the vibe isn't what it used to be. They seem to be missing key features to attract people. Before there were buffets available, more tables open and when it has more patrons, the place becomes more upbeat. We went to one in Ottawa and it was night and day in comparison.

Had a wonderful dinner and gambled! Walked out with extra money and a very full satisfied tummy! Spent the night in our rv, very quiet area. Thanks for a terrific evening😊

a terrific casino and entertainment center. it's always a good time. the staff are super friendly and courteous. the place is always neat and tidy. the security team keeps everything in order. a great vibe here. we had our emotional support dog and she respected the place while being quiet and sitting or laying down

A completely controlled casino, with zero chance of winning on slot machines (bonuses don't even pay you half of what you've bet) or on tables (the machine that shuffles and deals the cards), plus very few tables open (only one table for 3 players playing doubles) and stifling heat inside. It's supposed to be on the highway and a pleasant stop, but it’s a complete disaster experience.

Get back to nature park You feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. Best park store I have ever been in has everything you need even fishing rods. Very clean park that gets you back to nature. Had a no hydro site 129 that back on to a pond it was very wide and private. The beach is back to nature not man made with sand all over. You think you are in the middle of nowhere Can’t wait to go back. Best fishing I have ever had. All fish went back in. My shoe is a size 12.5

We have frequented many of Ontario’s Provincial Parks over the years, as do many of our friends and family, but no one had any experience with Murphy’s Point Provincial Park so we arrived not knowing what to expect. The park is gorgeous to hike and bike around. There are countless places to paddle, and every campground had nice forest coverage. We ended up meeting the Warden after a minor after-hours arrival issue (resolved) and he was so helpful and interesting to talk to; a tremendous representative of the park. We would definitely go again. One pro-tip though: Many of the sites were small, had significant slope, boulders, and/or roots, which would make pitching a tent or tents difficult. When searching for reservations, list your equipment (1 tent, 2 tents, RV, etc) as being bigger than what you actually intend to bring so that you end up with a campsite that will better meet your needs.

Murphy's Point Provincial Park is a lovely park in Eastern Ontario, only a short drive from Perth or Kingston. The trails are lovely, with easy walking with some designated safe for biking. Three main attractions are within the park; The Silver Queen Mine, the McParlan House, and the Lally Homestead. All have easy access trails with no additional entrance fees. The Silver Queen Mine is a mica and apatite mine. The entrance is gated. Guided tours are held during the peak summer months. The Lally Homestead and McParlan House are self-guided. Canoeing and kayaking is excellent. The main route starts at the main beach or boat launch and takes paddlers through Hoggs Bay, Big Rideau Lake, Noble Bay, Loon Lake and back to the starting point. There are two portages with easy walking. Swimming is excellent too at the main beach or even the hike-in beach. The Park Store is well equipped with essentials. The comfort stations are clean and have showers with ample hot water. There are coin-op washing machines on-site. Staff are super-friendly and welcoming. If you are a birder, you are in luck. In the campground you will see several Red-Bellied Woodpeckers, a variety of warblers and Scarlet Tanagers, even the Towhee can be found here. One can easily find the Grey Rat Snake too. We had an excellent 4 day vacation here!

The sites are spaced out great, ample room between most sites which is nice for privacy. The boat launch was perfect for setting off on your paddle board or kayak with access to Big Rideau Lake, Hoggs Bay, and also Nobles Bay. Nice hiking trails, the washrooms would benefit from more frequent cleaning as other campers don’t seem to respect the communal use but that’s an issue at most car camping sites. Overall would recommend camping here.

We took a Prolite Profil into Fallows campground, I'd recommend a 4x4 since there's one really steep hill that my Caravan almost didn't crest. Good thing the soil was dry 😬. Bring lots of deet bug repellent and check for ticks. On a clear night, you can faintly see the milky way; in early July, you'll need to stay up until after midnight to see it (look east). We also saw a deer just a couple of meters from our spot at night. Lots of other wildlife to observe! Also, the water at the beach glimmers because of the mica. Quite a sight to behold!

Loved the campsite! We visited in early fall last year, and the Silver Queen Mill was a fantastic addition that really enhanced the whole camping experience.

Was a great part to spend a night camping! We unfortunately got rained out, and we’re unable to do the cave tour, and I recommend you take a look at if your site has good drainage, or if it is downhill! Luckily, we woke up just before the rain started to hit, And packed up before our site was a tad bit flooded. With that being said, we really loved doing the trail the day before! We can’t wait to come back and get a more dry experience!

Gorgeous gorgeous boats – the place defies words. If you like boats, it's a must see! Took us about three hours - do the La Duchesse houseboat tour...she's pretty special and only adds $3.00! 🙂

We stopped at the Antique Boat Museum, a sprawling complex featuring everything from small leisure vessels to impressive speedboats. The speedboat building was a definite highlight. ​We opted for the river ride (an added fee) aboard a Hacker Craft, which lasted about 45 minutes. Though the water was a little choppy and windy on the day we went, it was still nice and relaxing. Our captain shared some local history along the way. While the weather is out of the operator's control, this ride would be even better on a calmer, less windy day. Be sure to check the forecast, as the river ride is seasonal.

For boating enthusiasts, this is a must-do when the 1000 Islands area. On a recent visit, I was offered a fabulous ride on a late model Hackercraft piloted by Captain Mike. The tour was scenic and informative, at a cost of only $25 per person!! Their displays of historic vessels document a historic period of recreational boat development, featuring extensive inventory of classic wooden boats, including world famous racers, and Iconic builds like the 48 foot Hutchinson “Pardon Me”. The gift shop features apparel, books, posters, caps, has something for every enthusiast!

What a place! I grew up on Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire, when there were wooden boats everywhere. Big and small, fast and slow. Walking into the Antique Boat Museum was a trip down memory lane. We expected to spend an hour there. We stayed for over four. The variety of boats and engines and gear is mind blowing. I have never experienced a finer collection of antique boats anywhere. The multiple buildings of the museum are expansive, clean and bright. The virtual boat ride is notable. Seeing so many wooden boats in the water under the shed is really special too. Gives you the opportunity to see the boats as the are supposed to look. That is floating. There must be over 100 canoes from birch bark on up. Something incredible is the race boat building. Boats from the beginning until they stopped using wood. You can see the evolution of race boat design from the dozens of relics they have displayed. If you have even a flicker of interest in classic boats, go visit this place. You can even sign up for a ride in one of the beautiful woiden runabouts they have.

A must when visiting Clayton. My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to this quaint little town. This was definitely a highlight. We made the last river boat tour and the weather was perfect. The river boat can only take 6 passengers and tour is 45mins long. It’s a fast, smooth ride! The museum was nice with multiple areas to explore. We called ahead and the staff was able to accommodate us with a La Duchesse tour. Highly recommend doing this as it’s one of a kind!

This is the type of place you can spend hours reading and viewing. It is overwhelming how much info there is, exhibits, and just content to read about. If you are into the trades of boat building, boating in general, boat racing, canoes, or just general history this is a no brainer to visit. Recommended to stop in and a great job by the staff!

Fantastic museum showing the history of wooden boat building. Many finding example examples to admire. spend the extra three dollars and take the tour of the bolt house boat. It’s well worth the time and money.

Visited mid-week so was very calm and pleasant. The heat kept most animals in the shade staying cool, but some were active nonetheless. Never seen a black bear so close, and one of the zookeepers was playing with the wolves. He'd run back and forth by the cage and they would watch him and do it too! And the otters....! I could watch them play all day. They actually seemed to ham it up for a camera, lol. Can't wait to come back here!!!

Fun little zoo. My wife and I were visiting with no kids. Keep in mind Its a small zoo. While you wont see any monkeys, camals, giraffes, hippos and animals like that, you will see Bobcats, wolverines, bears, elk, goats, eagles, and some reptiles. Admission was only $12 which I felt was fair for what it is, and was well kept and we enjoyed the walk. Deducting a star due to the butterfly house (didnt actually see any butterflies in there) and the petting zoo being closed. Wasn't a huge deal for us, but I could see it being disappointing for families with children. We didnt check out the park that its actually surrounded by, but looks like you could spend a nice day there and I noticed walking paths and playgrounds.

Small but we knew that. A gorgeous day. Very well kept up. Wish all the animals had companions. Took our time. 2 hrs seeing all the local animals. Sci tech bldg was cool. My hand magnet was off the chart! What does that mean..lol! Always see and learn something different. Always buy a gift for the kids and donated. Thank you. Great, friendly staff. Prayers for the sweet animals that we saw. Not the best pics but I tried.

We enjoyed walking around here very much and seeing the local animals of the state. My favorite would be the Wolverine and the otters. Canadian Lynx were great too.

We’ve been members at Zoo New York for two years now and between the zoo itself and all the events they have it’s well worth the price if you live in Watertown and have young kids. We come at least once a week most of the year. My only complaint is that the Halloween things they put up for most of October are way too scary for young kids. I just wish that it were at least set up in a way that you could avoid the spooky things when walking around the zoo, especially since it seems to me that most zoo attendees have pretty young kids.

This little zoo and science center in Watertown, NY, is an absolute gem! People can be unfair expecting a big-city zoo, but this place has a calm, pleasant atmosphere that’s perfect for families. The kids love visiting the science center, and the butterfly garden was a delightful addition. The wolverine was an adorable little show-off, and the otters were playful and engaging. We also never miss a game at the giant chess set—it’s always a hit with the kids. It’s not huge and doesn’t have many exotic animals, but it’s educational, welcoming, and easy to explore at a comfortable pace. Many of the animals are rescues—injured or unable to survive in the wild—so every visit has a meaningful side. There’s also a playground, and we stumbled upon a black currant bush—such a fun little find, and the currants were delicious! Just across the parking lot is a pool and splash pad, with another playground and a city overlook up the hill. It’s the perfect spot for a full day of family adventures. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Watertown!

Cute zoo, but more then half the exhibits were empty. I still think it is worth going and supporting. The grounds were also kept very nice.

We just absolutely love the burrville cider mill decided to come over here this morning everything is always so awesome and fresh best donuts In the world best apple cider in the world everyone should go here. Just absolutely everybody for everything they have, everything you could ever want from all kinds of apples, apple, cider, cheese, curd, homemade, everything, pies, cookies, cakes, candies and cute gifts of all kinds. This place is so great.

They make the best cider in the north country and their cider donuts are exceptional! The store itself has so much to offer and the waterfall out back is beautiful! We local Northerners look forward to their opening every year and they are always busy, especially weekends. If you’re in the area during the fall I highly recommend this as a place to visit. You won’t be disappointed.

My daughter and I had the opportunity to visit here this weekend and when I tell you this was the best Apple Cider and Slushy I have ever had it’s an understatement. The fudge and doughnuts are great too! Definitely worth the visit. The view out back is beautiful too

Cute place but it's really just a gift shop. I expected to see cider being made but there's nothing to see but the waterfall. Our family of 9 bought several donuts and other treats only to stand outside and eat them near the parking lot. We saw several places that there could be picnic tables. Don't know why there aren't any.

If you’re a native of Watertown, you know this is the best cider on doughnuts on the planet. Amazing family run business. The best part of fall is visiting the cider mill.

We had a beautiful day for a boat ride to Boldt Castle, and it did not disappoint! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Castle itself is breathtaking — it’s been preserved in pristine condition. I didn’t see a speck of dust or dirt anywhere. It was so nice to explore at our own pace with the self-guided tour. Tip: Once you pass through Customs but before your ticket is scanned, grab one of the program guides available in both English and French — it really helps you navigate and learn about each area. The Gift Shop is also a must-visit for a great selection of souvenirs. Walking through the Castle was a humbling experience. It’s incredible to see the love George Boldt had for his wife, Louise — keep an eye out for the heart motifs throughout the décor. Wherever he could, he included them, and it adds a really touching layer to the visit. This tour is best suited for adults or interested young adults. There isn’t much to engage children under 13. Overall, I highly recommend making time for this excursion. It’s a perfect blend of history, romance, and stunning views.

When you go online to buy the tickets the very short ferry from the yacht house (where you park the car) to go to Boldt Castle (which is on its own island) is free. Do not be scammed by hotel people saying you can get a discount if you buy the tour. Unless you want to do a tour of the other island and go up and down the water. Otherwise the $32 entrance fee to the castle includes the yacht house, the ferry and the castle. All self guided. Download app to listen. The upper level still are not complete, but renovations are planned. The low levels and some rooms on the second level are renovated and looked really nice reflecting the actual blueprint. The grounds are gorgeous flowers everywhere, and beautiful colorful plants. Every window you look out of in the castle you can see a view of the water, which is amazing. You do get to go to the unfinished upper levels just to see what things look like, but really not much there. A small gift shop on the second floor… relatively moderately priced items. A nice way to spend the afternoon. I think the entire thing took maybe around two hours. Parking is also free. You do have to walk on gravel from the parking lot to the yacht house. So if you have walking disabilities, please note that it’s at least six 700 yards away. You can buy tickets online and save the QR code for each ticket purchased. The little fairy that goes back-and-forth from the castle comes every 15 minutes. When you’re at the actual castle, there’s a very small store that sells things like hotdogs/hamburgers if you are hungry. A very lovely home and will definitely be returning in the future to see what other renovations they have.

We visited Boldt Castle and the Boldt Yacht House on June 29, 2025, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the views of the St. Lawrence River from the castle are absolutely stunning. We took our time exploring each floor, and the restored rooms and historical displays gave us a fascinating look into the Boldt family’s story and the castle’s unique history. The Yacht House was a surprise highlight – the collection of historic boats and the architecture itself were impressive, and the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable, answering our questions with genuine enthusiasm. We enjoyed walking around the docks and seeing the craftsmanship of the old wooden boats up close. There is plenty of space to wander, take photos, and enjoy the river breeze. It never felt crowded, and we appreciated the relaxing pace. The ferry ride to and from the castle was smooth and added to the experience with scenic views of the islands. If you are in the Thousand Islands area, Boldt Castle and the Yacht House are must-see attractions that offer a perfect mix of history, architecture, and natural beauty. Highly recommend spending a few hours here to take it all in.

It was so beautiful!! The staff were extremely nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. We even came upon a proposal at the shell fountain and she said yes! They looked so happy. The boat ride is very short and the docks easy to navigate. The paths are kept clear of debris and the map was easy to follow. I would highly recommend!!!

This place was so amazing. Every single staff member was so sweet. It was just breathtakingly beautiful!!! The gardens, the inside, the outside, you could easily spend an entire day here! My only complaint was that the gift shop was kinda lame. I definitely want to renew my vows here in a few years.

We visited Boldt Castle in the summer, and it was beautiful. We loved the landscaping and the architecture, but the true story behind the "home" was heartbreaking. Walking through the castle felt like trespassing in a shrine to a life that never got to be lived. If you're a Downton Abbey or Gilded Age fan, you don't want to miss this one!

Such an amazing piece of history to visit and story to learn. They have restored a good portion of the castle and other buildings and the grounds are also beautiful. What a wonderful way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon. We were lucky it was not too busy and were able to appreciate the beauty of Heart island. We did a 5-hour excursion from Rockport which included a 3 hour stop at the island. Well worth it!

Our visit to Mrs. McGarrigle's Fine Food Shop in Merrickville, Ontario, was a delightful experience. The shop is a treasure trove for anyone looking to indulge in quality goods. We picked up some British goodies, which brought a taste of home to our kitchen, along with a selection of beautifully crafted soaps, an apron, and a stylish tote bag. One of the standout aspects of this shop is the incredible selection of spices, oils, and vinegars—not to mention their impressive array of mustards. Each item is carefully curated, and it's clear that the shop takes pride in offering only the best to its customers. The name "Mrs. McGarrigle" sounds like a character straight out of a Harry Potter novel, and that would make sense given the magical experience this shop offers. On top of the great selection, the storekeeper is the nicest and most pleasant person you could hope to deal with, making the shopping experience even more enchanting.Whether you're looking for specialty foods, unique kitchen items, or just want to browse a charming store, Mrs. McGarrigle's is definitely worth a visit. It's a must-stop destination for anyone in Merrickville.

We wandered into this wonderful shop full of surprises. Oh the mustards are fantastic! and made local. Chocolates, teas snacks galore ! Its a must drop in while in Merrickville....

Very nice place for kids. Very interactive and lots of things to see for everyone. I personally love the otters and the beaver! There is also a free ropes course within the building. If you have little kids, an adult should be with them since they can't attach themselves by themselves. Make sure you aren't afraid of heights! The planetarium was also great and interesting for older age groups.

Nice place! But honestly, it’s a bit overrated. Sure, it’s not bad, and probably fun if your kids are under 5, but the price still feels quite high, especially for an adult ticket. On the bright side, the otters were super cute and active, and the beaver was really entertaining! Though I have to say, I felt a bit sorry for the beaver — its enclosure seemed cramped, with just a small pen and a tiny one-metre-by-one-metre pool. So yes, there are things to see, but I’d say it’s more of a one-time visit… or best if you’re five:)

This place is awesome!! I visited this weekend with my 4 children 15 to 6. They all had a blast. I myself was amazed and learned so many things. I love the hands on experience touching the stars and the shells and learning about them. There are games as well and presentations, a pirate ship, cord climbing etc. In the main entrance, there are multiple games for the children and a souvenir shop. Aquariums were fantastic with a wide variety of fish, shells, separate ones for otters, a beaver, turtles, a snake etc. Entrance was about 26$ per adult and 21$ for children 3 - 15 years old. Paid parking available underground or outdoor parking. Washrooms were clean. Staff was great and super patient and answered all our questions. I highly recommend this place! Definitely worth the visit!!

The Aquatarium at Tall Ships Landing offers a unique waterfront experience, nestled within a condo complex. While the admission fee of $26.25 for adults and $21.20 for children (3-17) is on the pricier side, a full-day pass allows for return visits, making the otter feeding a highly recommended way to maximize value. Younger visitors will find plenty to engage them, from a large ship climber and interactive water power displays to well-maintained aquariums showcasing local marine life and a supervised touch tank. Although the beaver feeding was a bit sleepy, the highlight for many, including myself, is the captivating river otter exhibit, featuring three to four playful residents. The gift shop offers standard souvenirs. Staff are notably friendly. While a pleasant visit, it didn't quite reach the heights of Ripley's Aquarium in Toronto. Several restaurants are conveniently located nearby.

Awesome aquarium and more! It's fishes aren't numerous but they have many other fun and interactive activities. From watching the beaver do tricks and eat to watching the Otters playing and get fed. There's an indoor suspended wood obstacle course, slide in a ship, target launchers, make a weather broadcast with costumes ans so much more! If you like drawing and technology, color in a robot and see it come to life on a big screen. You can touch some sea creatures, like star fish, sea slugs, crab, etc. A fun place for all ages!

It was so great, I almost want to gatekeep this little adventure spot! Visited with 4 and 1.5 year old kids. We went for the otters, and also loved the interactive water tables, Port of Johnstown exhibit, touch tank, animated sandbox, aquariums, and amazing staff. Before we'd even left, we were talking about getting membership to visit on repeat! Looking forward to visiting when the kids are older too so that they can enjoy the ropes course, green screen newsroom etc.

Super cool aquarium. Come through this town twice annually, wish I knew about it sooner. Otters were excited when people walked up to their enclosure, which was also very large and well made. Definitely worth a visit if you like fish and animals.

Visited this apple orchard recently and had such a great time! The place is well-maintained, with plenty of trees full of fresh, juicy apples to pick. The staff were welcoming and helpful, giving us tips on which areas had the best apples. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a family outing—kids especially loved running around and picking their own apples. They also had a little farm store with fresh cider, baked goods, and jams, which made the visit even better. Prices were reasonable, and the overall experience felt very authentic and fun. Definitely worth visiting during apple season, whether you’re going with family, friends, or even just for a relaxing day outdoors.

Mountain Apple Orchards 🍎 We had such a great family day at Mountain Apple Orchards with our two kids (11 and 4 years old). No tickets or reservations needed, which makes it really easy to plan a visit. The farm was absolutely packed today - almost every parking spot was full, but that just shows how popular this place is! The tractor ride was a big hit with our kids, they loved every minute of it. We originally came for Honeycrisp apples, but the trees were already picked clean since it was only the second day of the season. That tells you how much everyone loves this farm! Luckily, we were still able to buy Honeycrisps at the farm store, along with other varieties like McIntosh. The corn maze was another highlight — our kids had a blast, and even my husband turned into a big kid playing hide and seek with them. Such a fun memory. The farm store had lots of goodies like donuts and other treats, but the lineups were pretty long, so we decided to save that for next time. Overall, it was a really fun day out with the family. Yes, it was busy, but that’s part of the atmosphere during apple season. We’ll definitely be back again! 🍏🍎🍂

One of the absolute best things to do in Fall! Beautiful orchards, delicious apples, fun for the whole family. They have tractor rides, a large corn maze, and various other activities for kids. The mini donuts are delicious as well!

A great local business and operation! Tons of stuff for your kids to do, amazing warm apple cider (or cold), butter tarts, donuts made on the spot and other apple based products. There is no admission fee and you can walk the whole place or take a wagon ride to and from the orchard. There is a corn maze and a quiet, beautiful forest hiking trail. It was short, sweet and we highly recommend this location to anyone looking to do something during the September or fall weekends !

Great place to bring the kids. I took a group of seniors. Some used walkers and was easy to get around. Even have wheelchair accessible portable toilets. Loved the fresh cooked donuts.

Upon arriving there is a choice of plentiful free parking on either side of the road and no admission fees. Arrived hungry? No problem. There’s a sausage and hotdog stand as well, apple donuts that may be purchased, pies, cider, etc. It appears they have thought of everything. Well facilitated with outdoor washrooms and bags for pets poop. You can choose to walk to the orchards or wait for a free wagon ride to and from. On the way, you’ll pass a sheltered playground housing bails of hay the kids play on and past that will be a corn maze. There are benches along the way as well as more washrooms and dog bags. Lots of picnic tables at the food stand and closer to the wagon drop off. You can easily spend a couple of hours on a weekend outing. We go every year!

We love going to this orchard. It is a yearly tradition we started with our kids whe they were small. Now they are young adults and we keep going. Wagon ride is still fun. We bring a picnic lunch abd always buy the apple flavored doughnuts and the apple cider is a must

Upper Village Canada is truly a hidden gem. The neighborhood feels peaceful and welcoming, with clean streets and a calm atmosphere that makes it perfect for a relaxing walk. What I really enjoyed was the sense of community—people are friendly, and it feels safe and comfortable to spend time here. There are also some lovely spots to sit, enjoy the surroundings, and take in the charm of the area. It’s not overly crowded, which makes it even more enjoyable if you’re looking for a quiet place away from the hustle of the city. Overall, it’s a beautiful area that combines nature, comfort, and a warm atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend visiting or even considering it as a place to live.

Pumpkinferno at Upper Canada Village is such a fun fall experience! The pumpkin displays are incredibly detailed and creative — you can tell so much work goes into them. Walking through the village at night with all the glowing pumpkins feels magical and festive. It’s perfect for families, couples, or just a cozy fall outing. Definitely worth the drive and the ticket price! 🎃🍂 There’s a train ride for the family for additional 8$ per person. This event runs select nights from October 3 to November 1, 2025. So hurry up if you haven’t gone there yet. 🤩

I had a great time at the Pumpkin Festival! 🎃 The atmosphere was festive and family-friendly, with lots of creative pumpkin displays, delicious seasonal treats, and fun activities for all ages. The live music and food stalls added a nice touch, and it really felt like the perfect way to celebrate fall. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it got a bit crowded at peak hours, and did not felt like worth driving from Ottawa. Still, overall it was a wonderful experience — definitely worth visiting if you love autumn vibes and pumpkin everything!

I went with my daughter and her boyfriend. Line went pretty fast to get inside. It took about 45 minutes to walk through with enough time to take pictures. Found a lot of people don’t pay attention if someone is taking photos. A lot of great pumpkin carvings was very enjoyable.

Quite impressive and interesting! We loved to watch the blacksmith, cheese maker, tinmaker, shoemaker etc. at work and to see an historic sawmill in action. Just awesome! The horse-drawn carriage ride was for free and a nice way to get an overview of the area. We were happy that we've dicided to visit this place.

We LOVED the experience. This place takes you back in time, to the 1800s. People that work there were amazing. It felt good to be a bit disconnected from today’s society and see how people lived 200 years ago. The village is well managed and big enough you can easily spend half day just walking around.

Absolutely loved the cheese sticks and the ice cream! St-Albert Cheese Co-Op is such a fun and tasty stop. The cheese sticks were super fresh and full of flavor — definitely the best I’ve ever had. And the ice cream? Creamy, rich, and absolutely delicious. You can also watch the cheese-making process and shop for lots of local goodies. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!

Absolutely loved my visit to St-Albert Cheese Co-op. Their poutine is outstanding- served with generous portions of gravy and fresh cheese curds that squeak with every bite, a true sign of quality. The curds were incredibly fresh, and the entire dish was perfectly balanced. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite or taking a tour of the factory, this place is well worth the visit. Highly recommended for any cheese or poutine lover! They also have a gift shop and ice cream but I didn’t try any of those

If you are traveling between Ottawa and Montreal this is a must stop. It was great to see where the curds are made and how it is processed. A welcome stop off of the highway. The self guided tour is a nice touch since you can just come in and enjoy the entire facility. It is a cool spot with plenty to see inside and out, lots of seating and a very welcoming vibe. Good food, good ice cream, and a great market. The market was definitely my favorite spot with how many local goods they featured other than just their own dairy. The history of the place was fascinating and it was really great to actually watch the production floor putting out all of the delicious cheese. Of course, the highlight for our 4 year old daughter was the ice cream shop. Their service was super quick for food and ice cream.

Fries are unique, i liked them i see some didnt. Cheese too ofc. But i find it odd that you buy poutine from the poutine cheese people. And it barely has any cheese in it. I am here to buy a poutine with your cheese as the highlight not the minor/small component It shows frugality. Greed. Cheepness. Its very odd. Won't come back here. And won't buy your cheese at Costco again. When you go to factory locations of others brands for chocolate or other stuff. They are generous to reward yoy for driving an hour to visit them or more. Very dissapointing The gravy btw has a slightly bitterness to it. Like a bit overcooked. But this is personal preference and bias. Maybe that's the way it should taste here. So no problem. If the cheese was generous this would be a higher rating. Ciao

Best fresh burger! The cheese curds were fresh and delicious. Highly recommended. The ice cream was okay, but the gelato looked a bit melted

I've only been here once but it was obvious that St-Albert Cheese is an institution in eastern Ontario. Families flock here for dinner, long weekend trippers make this a dedicated pitstop, and folks looking for a cone after work are frequent. The vegetarian "Vegetastic" poutine (large) was massive and fantastic, as was the vanilla soft serve cone with butterscotch dip (large). Getting a bag of curds to-go was a must. Thank you St-Albert Cheese!

One word can describe the factory...YUM! My children and I love overseeing the factory in operation. Its all around just a wonderful visit and we also enjoy bringing some home with us.

Very nice beach monitor by life guards. Electric sites with asphalt roads, kept really clean. Plenty of trees and sun sites for RVs and tents. Good fishing spot too. Dump station is a bit inconvenient for the new camp area near the beach but not big deal to make a short detour on the way out.

Beach is clean nice and sandy. Wild life can seen very near to the campgrounds. Trails are easy and lots to see. Nearby nature centre. Eisenhower locks and Power Plant visitor centre. All are equally interesting to visit.

The Massena, NY one btw: Loved going here! So many things to do for free. Fun, learning center, live and stuffed animals, well maintained grounds, walking trails, beaches, picnic tables, a small gift shop/camping supplies, and a playground. You can even bring your dog. Come say hi to Jabba the Toad. I really enjoyed the large aquariums. They have touch and smell stations for kids along with an inside look to a bees hive. A LARGE chess board inside, various sitting areas, restrooms, and a water bottle refill station. Highly recommend

Beautiful beach ! I went in October on a Thursday morning - no charge to enter park . I arrived at 720am and all fields had a solid number of cars; still plenty of parking as there are 5 fields . I parked in field 5 with an extremely short walk to the beach . The beach itself was clean and well taken care of . Some fishermen present . Most people wearing masks . I felt safe and park rangers where frequently making their rounds . No bugs , very windy . got to see deer making their way to the water :-) . Found my first ever sand dollars !! Stunning rocks and plenty of shells as the tide rolls out . Water is dark brown looking . I didn’t have a chance to walk the nature trail / lighthouse but have heard good things . Tons of local there ; all extremely nice & welcoming. Beautiful drive in and out. Highly recommend .

Great post summer camping with only 12% of sites occupied. Beautiful weather w/ 70°s during the day and upper 40s at night. The site 55 that I was in had a side view of ships and barges going into and out of the lock from the west side. Lots of areas to hike, bike or run. Lots of water for boating,etc.

This is will be a long review about cabin 4. We stayed for a week over July 4th holiday. We are a family of 6 with four young boys. I'd say overall it was a fine cabin. Not necessarily clean but also not gross. I had to wipe down surfaces and clean the fridge before I felt comfortable but it was ok. Fridge, stove top (didn't use oven), and sink all worked well. Beds and bedrooms were great. Shelves and hangers and a rod for clothes, shelves by the beds. Bathroom was not great. Floor was peeling up and sink was old. Shower was small and leaked onto the floor but it did have great pressure and hot water! The water tasted awful in the cabin though, not sure why. All the windows had screens and worked very well. Bring fans for the summer!! It gets stuffy in there. I saw some cabins had window AC units too which I wish we had brought. The backyard was so huge it was kind of silly. Picnic table, fire ring with grate, and grill. There was a sewer access in our backyard that sometimes smells quite bad. Just a small view of the water, nothing spectacular especially since the dam was there so it wasn't very pretty. There was a bit of water access but again not much and the current was strong there. There was also a nightly skunk. We smelled it once and saw it twice around twilight which left us unable to enjoy being outside after dark! It was such a bummer. I saw no signs of mice in the cabin and we had only a few flies inside, no mosquitos at all really even outside. Where the cabins are you have to drive to everything within the park. The beach was nice though! Clean clear water, soft sand, plenty of lifeguards on duty who were attentive. It's a walk from the parking lot though which I did not like. Plenty of shade by the picnic tables and playground. The staff were all friendly enough and helpful. We rented a pontoon boat from the marina one day and that was excellent. The boat was brand new and beautiful. Barely used any gas but were out all day. Marina staff was very nice. Overall we had a fine experience at the park but I wouldn't say it was spectacular. Mostly because the views are so encroached on by the dams and the lock. But the water in the river is so clean and clear and it was a good time for our family. I would also say the unique things like the nature center and the lock center and lock really made it a more special trip for us.

Very friendly staff as always. Well maintained apart from a leaking shower hose in one of the bathrooms. The beach was pristine and better groomed than the bunkers at my golf club.

Nice casino. The table games are limited but at least they have some. Slot machines are spaced well and there are plenty throughout the gaming floor. They also have a bingo hall and a few places to eat so all in all it's a decent casino. There isn't much to choose from in the area so it's worth a visit.

Fun place to lose money. LOL Clean, smoke free casino. The games are newer and fun to play. The restaurants have pretty darn good food at reasonable prices. We go maybe once every month or so just for fun. Never come home flush with cash but always come home having had a great time and with a full belly!

Fantastic place to relax and play. Staff are all very professional, well trained and prompt to provide help or services. Several places to eat in-house and prices are much more reasonable than your average casino. If you get the chance to visit: do not miss out.

We just returned from a three-day stay at Akwesasne Hotel Casino. Originally, we booked for two nights but it was so enjoyable and relaxing that we decided to stay an extra night. We have been Marriott members for more than 30 years however our ADA room was nicer than any Marriott room. It was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Folks at the front desk were polite and cheerful as were the people who worked in the casino. We are supportive of the Native America community and spending time and money at the Mohawk Casino Resort was our pleasure.

Horrible place. If you book online, next thing you know you're stuck in a room at a tiny shack NEXT DOOR. One Google listing, for a casino hotel AND PLAYERS INN. ITS A DIFFERENT HOTEL, next door and not anything I was expecting. Want to use the nice pool at the casino you see in the photos? NOPE. Wanna come downstairs to play? NOPE. You'll be driving across a parking lot and no access to the amenities you see online. This is a HUGE SCAM. NO CLARITY ONLINE AND NO WAY TO CHANGE IT. Edit: I'll add, Let this review be a PSA. They know about this as an ongoing issue. They do nothing about this. The whole check in took almost 1 HOUR, and no resolution by the end of it.

Rooms very clean and elegant, if not simple. Had a fridge, no microwave for example,but shower and bed were great. Pillows had me, and my friends in another room, sleeping a bit hot, fyi. Toiletries felt nice 11a checkout was pretty strict, housekeeping was at my door by 11:02 as I was looking for my shoes :) they were polite and kind about it though. Casino itself was fun, and didn't have the depressing nature some can.

We visit this casino once a week. It is far for us to travel (200 km round trip), but we enjoy ourselves there. The people are friendly and there is a good selection of slot machines. They also have a lot of perks. They used to be open 24/7, which I prefer, but since Covid, they are short of staff and had to change their hours. Unfortunately, I have eaten in 3 of their restaurants, and I find that the food is never hot enough, especially their French fries, even when I specify that I wanted my fries hot. But I would recommend this casino.

I had been wanting to visit this brewery for a while and finally went and some things were great others a little disappointing. First off the most disappointing aspect is that the brewery was recently acquired by Steam Whistle so nothing is brewed on site anymore, it's all done in Toronto, so you can't see the brewing operation. They did however have 8 beers on tap including this time around the iconic Lugtread, a Lugtread light, a sour, a stout, a red and a few IPAs. All of them were quite good and you can order by the pint or sample in flights of 4. They had several of the bees in cans also so you can take some with you. They also serve snacks and food. They have nice Beau's schwag for sale too including Ts, caps, hoodies, beer glasses and mugs amongst other things. They had a few hot sauces made with their beer and the one we bought was amazing. On the cool side too now is part of the area has been taken over by Dunrobin distillery and you can try and buy their products on-site. They had vodkas, rhums, whiskeys, and gins, etc and the ones I tried were quite interesting. There is a small parking, clean washrooms and In the summer they make an outdoor terrace area.

Beau's is a perfect place to stop for lunch with plenty of interior and exterior seating. They offer limited sandwich options but there are extremely flavorful. A wide variety of uniquely named beers to drink onsite or bring home. A live band entertains some afternoons. You might get lucky and meet Magna, their sweet rescue dog.

Beau's has been my favourite brewery for the last decade. Finally experiencing the brewery in-person was an absolute pleasure. The bar staff were attentive and detailed in their description of the beers, making appropriate recommendations based on my stated preferences. The highlight of the day was tasting the beers which are not widely available (& not sold in any LCBO or Beer Store). I sampled a flight of 4 which included: Night Märzen, Double Juiced, Curse of Knowledge, and Gravity Well. My ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE was Curse of Knowledge. This is one of the best brews I have ever enjoyed! Beau's was unfortunately sold out of this brew (but I can understand why) so I purchased my go-to beer, Wonder Crush. Looking forward to finding an opportunity to go back to see if I can get my hands on some Curse of Knowledge. I highly recommend spending an afternoon at Beau's Brewery.

Came here on our way to Montreal to break up the drive a bit. What a cool stop off of the highway. The staff was very friendly and their outdoor patio is extremely inviting with the vines growing all over it. Our daughter loved the tractors and that she was allowed to play on them. Beer selection was pretty good, though I was hoping for something darker. Their artwork on the beer labels is pretty good, made it pretty tempting to buy a shirt. We got an amber and a Juiced AF. Both were quite good, perfect for the warm weather. I definitely would come back.

Awesome pit stop. Had some food like chips and sandwiches but maybe there is more on the menu. Patio was great. Nice facilities and staff too. Oh and Beaus on tap is 100 percent better than cans in store speaking personally. I can't explain it but their beer in house tastes so fresh.

Laura, their taproom manager was so friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and service oriented, she herself made the experience a 5 star one. The products are amazing. Beaus really worries about the quality of the beers they brew and are very cautious about how the whole process in their facilities. The brewery is impeccable, super clean. Their Halcyon Barrel aged beers are very creative and unique in taste. I am so happy I spent the afternoon at Beau's with my peeps. Definitely a top experience I cannot wait to repeat! Nice family ski area, with reasonable lift tickets. 1,200 vertical. Lift system is dated, but it helps keep the lift ticket prices down. Good snowmaking and grooming. Nothing challenging for advanced skiers, but it is just a fun area. Skiing the way it was meant to be and used to be, a throw back area and that is what I loved about it. I now ski the west, but Titus is like going back in a time machine to my roots in skiing and that is not a bad thing.

Great place for beginner to intermediate skiing / snowboarding! Good size mountain and lots of groomed trails. Not many natural bumps to jump off (my favorite), but the terrain park is great! Definitely worth the visit!

Area was wide and had plenty to do. Staff was friendly and terrain park was good. Wish lifts had rests for your feet but it's not too bad. Make sure to get a good look at the map as it tends to get flat here and there. Overall good I'd recommend.

Great beginner hill for the family. Tubing is great, but need to work out more access or an online reservation system.

Lots of nice trails. Lifts are a little rough and fast , staff was ok, but not so friendly as you would expect from the "most family friendly ski resort"

Brought the family up from Florida and had an awesome experience. Everyone was super kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Ski school was perfect for our kids who never skied before. Had them up and running in no time. We stopped at Whiteface the day before and it was beautiful but super crowded and busy. It would have been very difficult with 2 novices. Overall awesome experience at Titus, we would definitely come back.

We had a wonderful time at Kayak Safari in Huntingdon! It’s about 1.15h driving distance from Montreal. It’s located in one of Quebec’s oldest and most charming towns, and the drive from Montreal was scenic and relaxing lots of countryside, farms, and beautiful views along the way. The activity itself is perfect for outdoor lovers. The staff were super friendly and professional. They gave us all the info we needed and even pointed out some local attractions nearby. Reservation is required in advance , which you can do online or by calling them. The setup is simple: they drive you to the top of the river, and you paddle your way back down about 7 km. All safety gear is provided and included . The water is calm and flows at a steady, smooth pace—very safe for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a bit of light physical activity. Along the way, we saw birds, butterflies, and enjoyed the peaceful, clear water. The atmosphere is quiet and ambient perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. There’s plenty of parking on-site, and nearby you’ll find a great ice cream shop and even a couple of brewpubs to enjoy after your paddle. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Top notch! The staff, the location, the whole experience was amazing. Every single employee was polite, helpful, accommodating and so welcoming. Good place for a relaxed afternoon. The staff was efficient and kind. You can take your time to navigate, stop and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The river was a little bit low at the time we went and we got stuck on the rocks many times. An experience they definitely worth to try.

Good place with fantastic nature going down the river. Calm paddling on the lazy river helps you to relax and enjoy. Kayaks are stable, stuff explain everything before you go.

I use to come here every summer but it has been harder the last couple of years. Finally had a chance to return and the market has changed so much! I prefer what it was like before. More great antiques and less over priced junk.. and I noticed that there is a lot more newer crafty items than past years... Some of the crafty items are super original and really well made. I was truly impressed. Overall, if I compare it to the times I went a few years back, I was a little disappointed but over all I had a pretty decent time.

Nice place to visit on a Saturday and hunt for antiques, get some fresh veggies or even venture into trying delicious Ethiopian cuisine.

Love this market ! Great way to spend a day out of the city. If you enjoy antiques, vintage things, old kitchenware or furniture, handmade products, homemade food..or even dogs (cause they're everywhere♡)... The owners are amazing too. You will love the place! Found it by accident after having breakfast in the area (Cozy Cafe). Very large free market with some good deals. I would go again (and take more pictures).

Very nice place to go. The view is magnificent. You have lots of stuff to see if you want to go there for the first time. My suggestion, choose early morning because if not you'll suffer from heat. There are lots of nice things to see. The prices are mostly affordable and the people there are extremely nice and easygoing. You'll have fun there.

Can't wait to go back. Today was my first time. I didn't get to see all the kiosks but what I saw I LOVED. This would be a 10 out of 5 stars. Get there early as parking fills up really fast. Wear proper shoes for walking. Bring lots of $$$ YOU won't regret it. There are bathrooms and out houses. Food, gems, and treasurers to be found. When your done take a scenic drive around Hudson qc. Beautiful!

My family and I had a great visit. We were happy to see a zoo, where animals were living in habitats very close to their natural environment. We were able to see a large amount of the animals on a very hot day. Some of the animals were trying to cool off in the shade and we were unable to see them. I am thankful that the zoo has the animals in habitats where they can avoid the rain and the sun if they need it. Great location I would go again. There are also a ton of swings obstacles and things for young kids to play while walking through the zoo. My kids absolutely loved seeing exhibits getting to climb a jungle Jim seeing exhibit getting to go on a swing seeing more exhibits than going through a maze.

This zoo is a well-maintained facility with a thriving ecosystem that prioritizes animal welfare. Many of the animals are rescued or adopted, and the zoo's location is both family-friendly and entertaining. The staff takes great care of the animals and wildlife, making it a must-visit destination.

This place is nice but i feel like some things need to be added to enhance the visitor experience. The one animal we really wanted to see that day was the bear, and unfortunately after around 30 mins of waiting we never saw one. I understand that this isn't a typical zoo but maybe giving out information to visitors about the times each animal is more likely to be visible would be nice. Or offering discounts when some animals don’t seem to be visible for a long time. At the end of the day, yes this zoo is not like other traditional zoos but visitors come mainly to see the animals. We didn’t see a couple more animals but oh well it’s okay. Once again this zoo lets the animals rest whenever they want so it’s okay to not see all animals but maybe having a schedule for the most probable times animals aren't asleep would be good. On another note, It’s one of the best kept animal places I've been to. They really seem to care for the animals. With all the play stations i feel like it’s perfect for families with kids. I personally didn't see one but maybe adding a cafe or a mini snack station would be nice for visitors, if there isn’t already one. Over all, it was nice to visit this place but once is enough. My favorite section was the reptile section. I have never seen so many different species of turtles in one place.

The Ecomuseum has the greatest staff with some beautiful wildlife and exhibits to see. It takes about an hour and a half to see all the exhibits, but my partner and I stayed longer as we doubled back to see some animals like the racoons, wolves, owls, otters, ravens, and lynx. I had no idea that racoons loved to snooze in trees so much! There is also an array of animals throughout the walk that you can see as well; there were cardinals, chickadees, juncos, swallows, and squirrels. This is a trail that you can free-roam, and going on a Saturday morning proved to be very quiet and peaceful. We met an employee on the trail named Natalia and her personality and kindness was greatly appreciated. She ended up sharing some information about local wildlife and the zoo itself before showing us the racoon exhibit. Natalia, along with the entire staff were so friendly and it really meant a lot to us. We can see from their attitude that they truly care for these animals. The exhibits themselves are also very spacious and open. All the wildlife here from what I understand are rescues, and it's comforting to know they're in good hands with a clean, open environment to safely habitate. The zoo also has demonstrations and sessions on specific days, so keep an eye out for that if you ever decide to take a trip there. There's plenty to do for children as there are multiple playground areas and the zoo makes it very easy to gain information and learn about the wildlife in Quebec. The kids who came across our path during our time here were very respectful of the animals, which is great to see as we need more of that. We didn't have as much time to take in the reptile and amphibian exhibit, but from the quick pass we made, they had some beautiful snakes, frogs, newts, salamanders, and turtles. Their gift shop was also very nice with an abundance of selection from clothing to jewelry, and books to art - a fantastic way to support the zoo and raise awareness about the wonders of nature and wildlife. This is an amazing place to visit and a very quick drive from downtown Montreal.

Visited Ecomuseum Zoo with my family. You can either buy a ticket on-site or from MTL passport. We bought MTL Summer 2025 passport for 2 adults and 3 kids. We just showed our MTL bar code at the reception entrance and we started our journey with my family. We were lucky to see Canada Lynx (sleeping when we saw), Fisher, American Black Bear 🐻 (video attached), Raccoon 🦝, White Tailed Deer 🦌, Common Raven 🐦‍⬛, Wild Turkey 🦃, some birds 🦢, Turtle 🐢 pond, Coyote, Golden Eagle 🦅 (video attached), Barred Owl 🦉, American Crow, Turkey Vulture (video attached) and North American River Otter 🦦 (video attached). My kids loved this zoo. Staffs were kind and helped with navigation of the zoo. They also have a gift shop to buy Ecomuseum zoo merchandise. Worth visiting this zoo with family during summer time.

Fun place to visit with kids. The enclosures are large and realistic to actual Quebec environments and the animals seem well treated, although you may have to look harder for them than at the typical zoo. Tickets are a bit pricey for the zoo's size but it remains worth a visit nonetheless.

A great zoo 30 min drive from downtown, the enclosures all seem fantastic. While many animals were asleep I still saw nearly all of them. Even saw the lynxs hunting. Worth the visit and support. Seems like a great spot to bring kids

easy and beautiful trails close to the river. the trails are relatively short, which can allow you to explore several/all of them in the same day. plenty of benches and picnic tables along the way. perfect place for a day in nature!

Amazing hiking, biking trails, paths are seperated upon entry, the noise from high way is drowned pretty quick as you walk closer to Wilson Falls, the views are breath-taking. Bring snacks, the walk can be as long or short as you like, we spent about 3 hours there, taking pictures, jumping on the rocks, having little snacks, they have proper washrooms in their welcoming centre with seating to relax and fresh drinking water. Picnic tables are scattered throughout the parc.

Very nice peaceful park. Lots of places to visit and see the falls. There is a great area with an obstacle course for kids to play in, or us adults to try and see how young we still feel. The Wood art is beautiful and so well done. I loved the 2 horses.

Absolutely great place for a hike; fresh air; safe; the info centre provides decent coffee, water n quick snacks bites. The walk and the views are good. There is even a small area for kids to play while waiting at the info centre/Cafe before the trails. 2-3 easy/medium trails; not too time consuming; not strenuous at all. Enjoyable with a set of friends n family. There is also tables at multiplr places along the path to have a picnic.

Having come here over the years, many changes have taken place...some charm (several added wooden scuplture crafts etc.) has gone away, however, no one can question the spectacular nature found at this very easily accessible park. Entrance fee ($11.50/person for non-residents ---updated in 2023) has increased considerably, however, it is still worth the visit. Would be nice if more picnic tables and benches were placed at areas that afford the best views. Always a great place to come to, especially in the Autumn.

About 35 minutes from Montreal, I had a great time hiking in the serene embrace of nature. The entrance fee is $11.50 per adult, and you can purchase it at the entrance. The trails were enjoyable, and the views were truly breathtaking. The sound of water flowing over the rocks is incredibly serene and relaxing. Tip: Bring some snacks and fluids for a perfect day out.

11.5 $ for adult Lot of car parking. You can spend about 3 hours easily. Get your food and spend time with your family. Directly accessible from the Car parking.

I’ve been coming to Spa Finlandais for years and I really do appreciate the new additions and upgrades, they’ve done a great job modernizing the space while keeping the relaxing vibe. That said, one thing that’s become an issue is the overbooking. It often feels overcrowded, especially during peak times, which takes away from the tranquil experience. They really need to consider capping the capacity or managing bookings more strategically. Another point is cleanliness,while the spa is generally well kept, having more staff dedicated to maintaining the common areas throughout the day would make a big difference especially the changing rooms. Lastly, the tea offered is a definitely a hit but the food options are quite limited and not the best in terms of quality. I’d love to see more variety and healthier, better prepared meals in the future. Still a beautiful spot, just hoping for a few improvements to bring it back to its full potential.

I absolutely love this spa! Toronto/Ontario needs to do better and incorporate more variety like this at the spas there! I love all the different styles of the rooms here, the Temazcal was my favourite! There’s just so many different sauna rooms, hot tubs, cold plunges, relaxing rooms with different themes! So worth it!

✨️Beautiful experience✨️ A lot of people recommend me to try this spa location and didn't regret to finally give a try ! It's worth the trip to have a relaxing activity because this location offer several different kind of pool. From Antarctica cold pool to hot sauna, I had the opportunity to try them all during my few hours stay ! It's a clean well maintained place, they always make sure that it's all clean and there is no trash ❤️ I absolutely love the decor there, the beautiful fountains, the mini lake, the furniture / the swimming pool they had to offer and that each pool had different heat/cold 🫶 The food on the other hand, it taste average imo. For the price it costed, it's not something that I feel like it's worth to try. The pokebowl tuna taste ok, portion wise I feel like they weren't so generous barely had any fish or salad which was a bit of a bummer 🥲 The charcuterie plate was good, portion wise was ok 👍 The soup of the day was pretty delicious ❤️then the quiche was yummy, the pizza mageritha taste alright didn't had much cheese/ mostly felt like if I was eating bread than a pizza, the chicken sandwich was great but again wish had a bit more proteins in it 🥲 the salad & couscous was delicious ! Really like it!! 🥗 the tartelette lemon was a such nice light dessert 😋 The coffee, cocktails and tea was great ❤️ However, for the price we paid for , I don't think it's worth it personally. Overall, lovely activity to go at but the food is just average for me (*´･ω･) Will come back again for sure !! Mainly for the sauna & the spa 💧

My friend celebrated her birthday at Spa Finlandais and we had such a great time! Even though we didn’t arrive together, the receptionist somehow knew I was the guest my friend was waiting for — super attentive! Since it was her birthday, they even offered us complimentary robes, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa itself is really nice, with so many options and experiences inspired by different cultures. The staff were also really patient and understanding, even when things got a little loud (birthday energy 😅). They still managed to keep everything running smoothly and made us feel welcome the whole time. Thanks to the Spa Finlandais team for the amazing hospitality and helping make my friend’s birthday so special! 💆🏽‍♀️🎉

We really loved our experience at Spa Finlandais. It is more expensive compared to other spas in the Montreal area, but it has the largest selection of pools, saunas and relaxing rooms. Our favorite rooms were the eucalyptus steam rooms. The day beds by the main pool fill up at noon. We definitely recommend this spa.

Absolutely the best place to relax! We went during winter and had an nice experience. There are plenty of different areas (saunas, pools, quiet places) to enjoy and disconnect. Everything was clean and peaceful.

I visited Spa Le Finlandais today with my partner, and I left feeling deeply disappointed, frustrated, and honestly a bit ripped off. This was my first time, and it will without a doubt be my last. For a place that positions itself as a premium wellness destination, the experience was shockingly underwhelming and far below even basic expectations. Let’s start with parking. We arrived before 10 a.m., thinking we were early enough to avoid any hassle, but there were only a handful of parking spots on-site. All were already taken. We were forced to park nearly a 10-minute walk away, which would be mildly annoying at a shopping mall but is absolutely ridiculous for a spa that claims to offer relaxation. Not how you wants to begin a supposedly peaceful spa day. At reception, things went from inconvenient to outright cold. The hostess didn’t even look us in the eye. No greeting, no warmth, no directions, and certainly no welcome. Her tone was mechanical, as though she was reading off a script she didn’t care about. “Do you have a booking?” That was it. When we responded that we did, she simply asked if we needed towels and how we wanted to pay. She handed us our bracelets and that was the end of the interaction. No explanation about the facilities, no recommendations, no orientation. I’ve had more pleasant and helpful interactions renewing my driver’s license. I was genuinely shocked to find out that towels and bathrobes are not included in the price. For a spa, this felt cheap and unprofessional. These are not optional luxuries; they are basic necessities at any self-respecting spa. Charging extra for them felt like nickel-and-diming guests in a place that already commands premium pricing. We made our way to the outdoor area, hoping to salvage the experience with some fresh air and a snack. Unfortunately, the bar outside was closed. When I politely asked a staff member if it would open later in the day, he barely acknowledged me and simply said “No” before walking away. No further explanation, no alternative suggestion, just pure indifference. Now let’s talk about the actual spa facilities, which were in poor condition and frankly unhygienic. The baths had floating cups and a couple of them even masses of dead leafs and I spotted more than a few dead flies. Some pools had rusted bits on bars and else, which was just disturbing. The whole place felt neglected and poorly maintained, which is not only off-putting but unacceptable for a place that markets itself as a relaxation retreat. There was little ambiance, no sense of care, and certainly no attention to the customer experience. It felt more like a neglected public pool than a luxury spa. For the price they charge, you would expect at least the basics: cleanliness, hospitality, and a serene atmosphere. Sadly, none of those were delivered. To sum it up, Spa Le Finlandais failed on all fronts. Poor service, lack of amenities, dirty facilities, and an overall sense of indifference from the staff. I will not be returning, and I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing or high-quality spa experience

Parc Safari is an excellent option for families. The experience of coming into contact with animals is spectacular. You can feed and pet them from your car. Although I didn't go into that area, there is a water park for children. Unfortunately, the lion area was closed.

Having the opportunity to visit the park in Canada on my son's first birthday was a truly memorable experience. It was a wonderful combination of his two favorite things: animals and water. This visit was a great blessing for our son and our entire family. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive to our needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this park to everyone, and I am incredibly grateful to have experienced its true beauty. We were the last ones to depart that day.

It was a nice experience. It is 15% off if you enter after 14h but it closes at 17h. I think is better to visit it during the summer because they have a lot of water play infrastructures. The animals was diverse but not to many (especially the carnivores). I like it as an experience. I recomand it! I uploaded few of the animals, you can see more when you enter by car.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) Parc Safari is a nice place to visit and see some animals, but honestly, it is quite pricey for what you get. The experience is fun, especially for families, but I feel the value could be better. I bought our tickets online because I didn’t want to wait in line, and I paid the regular price since I knew we’d be arriving around 12:30. Unfortunately, there was a big accident on the way, and we ended up stuck in traffic for 2 hours. We only arrived around 14:00. Here’s the issue: Parc Safari offers 15% off tickets for customers who arrive after 14:00. Since I had purchased 4 tickets online, I asked if they could refund me the difference (almost $55) because we had less time to enjoy the park and clearly qualified for that discount. But they refused, saying because I purchased online, they couldn’t adjust the price. I don’t think that’s fair at all, considering it wasn’t my fault we arrived later. Also, buying tickets online doesn’t even save you time at the entrance—there’s no special line for online buyers, so you’ll wait either way. My recommendation: never buy your tickets online. If something unexpected happens, you’ll lose money, and you also miss out on possible discounts. The park itself is enjoyable, and we did still have a good time, but because of the price and the unfair ticket policy, I can only give 4 stars.

Fun interesting lots of walking. Animals were just chilling not much action. Sadly some animals were not available and half the water park was not open. Very tiring experience drive from Ottawa and spent entire day there. Still amazing place. Will try again next year.

Not much to do during winter, no animals Just visited it in the end of August, it was +13 and raining but we still saw everything. Really good place to visit with small kids during July-August. They also have waterslides and ice-cream. There is little beach with chairs and slides, tubes and swimming pools. Really nice place. Any malls have big enclosures and look clean and healthy. Volunteer told us about hawk from South America, she was very nice and knowledgeable, thank you. Really good place, looking forward to future visits.

We went on a pretty hot day. Family of 5! In a car! The parc safari was the PERFECT PLACE to hang out on a sweltering day. Spent 7 hours there and at their water park. Lots of food drinks gifts and knick knacks to be had. Well worth the drive from Thunder Bay! VERY VERY CLEAN!!

One of the most unforgettable experiences of my life! Skydiving from 13,500 feet at Parachute Montreal was absolutely incredible. The entire team was professional, friendly, and made me feel completely safe from start to finish. The instructors were experienced and explained everything clearly, which helped calm my nerves. The views were breathtaking, and the adrenaline rush was unreal. Their service is top-notch—100% recommended for anyone looking to try skydiving!

It was an amazing experiance. My instrutor was Charlie who cared a lot and provided me an enjoyable safe jump and landing. I strongly recommend everyone to try this and enjoy it. It was an incredible best moment of my life. I will see you guys again. Thanks with a warm hug. 🤗

I had a freaking amazing time here! It was the most thrilling exhilarating experience of my entire life and I owe it all to Parachutisme Adrénaline! A huge thanks to Lionel for being an amazing instructor for my first jump ever and making sure I felt safe and got the full experience! He even taught me how to fly the parachute! Major thanks to all the staff for being so warm and friendly! I will 100% be back next season! I’d literally give this place 10 stars if I could! :)

Amazing experience! First time doing a tandem jump, my mom and I chose the regular option and the free fall is so worth it. We did wait about 4 hours from the reservation time as mentioned on the site, but I'm glad the weather turned nice enough to be able to jump without cancellations. Huge thank you to Johan (hope the spelling is right) for being so friendly and making sure I was alright at all times, and to Ariel for making a great video despite my awkwardness 😅. Ready for round 2!

Most incredible experience of a lifetime!! I jumped with Yannick and could not have been more happy to have him!! Vincent was the videographer/photographer and I am so pleased with the results of the video and pictures. Definitely worth the $$$ for the whole video/picture package!!! How they do it and get the most amazing shots of the jump is beyond me!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I highly recommend them
