An unforgettable experience at Jungle Cat World! This place is absolutely amazing and brought so much joy to my son Samy, memories that will last a lifetime. Samy has a rare genetic disorder, and the generosity, kindness, and warmth shown by everyone here truly touched our hearts. A huge thank you to Candice, who made our Behind the Scenes experience so special ; her passion and care for the animals (and for people) shines through in everything she does. And to Kory, whose big heart and kindness in the office made us feel so welcome from the very start. The whole team is genuine, caring, and full of love for what they do. The Behind the Scenes experience was simply magical we got to feed lions, pet a wolf, hug a fox, and feed lemurs! My kids got plush animals from the souvenir shop that they’ve been hugging nonstop they’re already inseparable with them ❤️ We can’t recommend Jungle Cat World enough. It’s more than a zoo, it’s a place full of heart. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying at the on-site lodge, especially since guests can visit the park after hours and see how the animals are at night. A must-try for families and animal lovers! 🐾

We had such an amazing time, the behind the scenes experience was a dream come true! If you're looking for a fancy zoo, this is not the place for you. BUT if you are looking for a place where you can tell the people love their jobs and the animals they work with this is the place. You get up close with the animals without spending a fortune. You don't have to hope you will see the animals because they are right there, they even have animals just walking around like Mikey the donkey and beautiful peacocks. This place is definitely a hidden treasure. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a different kind of animal experience.

Had a blast with the kids! We got to watch the lions and wolves be fed, interact with the free roaming alpacas and donkey, and the bunnies were asking for pets. The peahen and chicks were shy but still came around. The playground was a lot of fun for the kids. The food there was good and well priced. I would highly suggest a visit.

Friendly, helpful staff and the zookeepers feeding the animals were informative and entertaining. They mentioned they act as a sanctuary to accept any animals which other zoos did not plan to have and cannot accommodate. Can bring in your own food and drinks hut don’t feed them to the animals. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. There are tiki umbrellas providing shade for the tables outside the restaurant. Also there are many tables and chairs in the area next to the restaurant in the covered area. Enclosed areas are small for the large lions, tigers, pumas, etc. but animals looked healthy. Peacocks, ducks, geese, alpacas roam free around the zoo. Can buy food to feed the birds and alpacas. Fun playground for kids with climbing structures, mountain with tunnels, slide and squeaky, vintage metal teeter totters.

This past weekend we visited Jungle Cat World for a behind the scenes experience. My father and son participated while my daughter and I followed along and explored the rest of the zoo. The staff were INCREDIBLE in making sure we felt welcomed and educated on the experience we had paid for. The tour guides were exceptional!! They helped to take a ton of photos so my dad and son have memories to share and show the rest of our family. It was so much fun, and a highly recommended gift to give someone!! We picked any 3 of the massive list of animals they had, and the staff were more than accommodating if we wanted to change our minds the day-of. We will definitely be back, especially for another behind the scenes.

In Toronto, the Zoo is one of the most visited attractions for tourists and locals alike, as its focus on entertaining children and young adults means it's always bustling. If you're planning a visit, I recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to avoid lines at the entrance. However, you can also try buying tickets at the door and get discounted tickets. The Zoo often hosts events at certain times of the year, such as this one for Halloween, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on their social media for more information on opening days. To get there, there's a shuttle service from Union Station and a bus that runs directly to the Zoo. If you're driving, they have private parking. For food, the park is very well-equipped, with plenty of snack bars, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a Tim Hortons. However, you can bring your own food, as the park has picnic tables. The park has excellent facilities for visitors with disabilities, with paved streets without potholes, access ramps, staff support, and accessible restrooms. The park also has lockers, where you can rent and leave your belongings. Along with all the animal facilities, the zoo also has a splash pad that opens in spring and closes in the first weeks of fall, a zip line, a carousel, and souvenir shops. The tour is very cool, and everyone is sure to be delighted.

Toronto Zoo is a great place for families. Even though there is construction happening right now and a few animals are not available to see, it’s still absolutely worth visiting. The zoo is clean, spacious, and well organized. My son enjoyed the kids’ learning areas and interactive displays. Friendly staff, lots of walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax. A great outdoor experience for kids and adults — we’ll definitely visit again!

We got our family season pass and would come about once every one or two weeks. There would be a lot of people on the weekends and can get quite noisy. We prefer to go on weekdays. There are many animals in the zoo and my toddler love it. There are some animals who are alone and it would be great if they may have a companion for them so they would be less lonely. The staff are usually very friendly and helpful.

Honestly, I love this place, but man, it is a workout. You absolutely need your most comfortable shoes because the zoo is massive and you will be walking all day. ​The enclosures are huge, which is great for the animals, but it does mean sometimes they’re hiding in the back and you can't see them. The polar bears were actually active this time though, which was super cool. It's a solid day trip, just be ready to be exhausted by the end

Overall great place. The only reason I removed a star is because, although I understand many of the animals not being out because November is cold, in the canadian area there were supposed to be 6 animals out and we were only able to see 3 of them. That was definitely not worth the absurdly steep hill we had to climb on our way back. That was the only downside of the experience. Loved the place though.

We were there in early November, I was surprised at how many animals we saw. In their winter housing situations and not available for public to view. I was impressed by the cost, it's very affordable for a family of four. And stayed at a local hotel with a pool. The kids already want to go back.

It is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends. We had a good time seeing all Fall colors and walking around. While animals in captivity is bad, it is still important to understand them and value their importance in our lives. They have so many different species of all kinds of animals. Some animals are always resting so you don't get to see them always. You have to pay $20 for the parking and the tickets are extra. They have plenty of parking though. Definitely recommend visiting once.

I have been going for a couple of years whether it be with family or friends and I always have a great time. This year was the first time I went in the fall — for Halloween haunt and let me tell you the vibes, decoration were way better. (Also fewer line ups) this year I went to the conjuring limited edition maze and I loved how interactive and fun it was. They did a great job. Do recommend

Cons: Overpriced and overrated. Parking is expensive, and food options inside are mostly unhealthy and way too costly for what you get. The overall experience doesn’t match the high ticket and food prices. Definitely not worth it for what’s offered; 1 out of 5. Pros: I visited Canada’s Wonderland this past summer and spent a full day enjoying both the rides and the water park. It was a hot day, so I started with Splash Works; the water area was lively but not overwhelming. There are several pools and slides for every age, and it’s a great place to cool off. The wave pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of shaded spots and chairs to relax between rides. After the water park, I explored the rest of the park and went on a few of the main roller coasters. The sight of the massive tracks and loops from a distance still makes the park feel impressive every time you visit. The atmosphere is energetic but family-friendly; with lots of music, food stands, and people having fun. I ended the day near the main fountain and mountain area, which looks especially beautiful in the sunlight. The water and landscaping give it a resort feel, and it’s a perfect spot to take photos before leaving. Overall, it was a great summer day; well organized, clean, and full of energy. If you plan ahead and arrive early, you can easily make the most of both the water park and the rides.

My husband and I went for the first time during Halloween Haunt on Halloween because we purchased a gold pass from a different amusement park. We got to try a Beaver Tail - Avalanche flavor and it was delicious! The level of detail that went into designing the Halloween Haunt was impressive. The decorations were awesome, there was specially named and unique food options, and there were different themed areas with actors dressed up in scary costumes. One area there were all zombies and another had clowns. The actors were clearly having a good time scaring people and it was sometimes entertaining to just watch them scare other parkgoers. It was also possible to bypass these areas if you didn't want to get scared. There was a freak show, a fire spinning show, and music performances throughout the night. We didn't opt to buy the extra pass to enter the haunted mazes - mainly because I'm not a fan. I rode a few coasters because there was no wait, but it was quite chilly. It was still exhilarating and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back when it is a bit warmer.

This place is fun, but a bit scary with the height of the rides. It is not for the doubtful patrons. Rides are going upside down over your head as you walk around in the park. Every one should try going to wonderland at least once in their lives. You don't have to buy a season pass, just a day pass will do the trick. However, if you are a lover of these Rides buy a seasonal pass. You can also add meal pass to the mix. It will work out very well the kids love to go to this amusement park 😀 there is everything for everyone from babies to adults. Sometimes you will be entertained with fireworks. Check it out! 🔥

WinterFest at Canada’s Wonderland was truly amazing! The heated igloo add-on option was the best warm choice of the night — cozy, private, and perfect for taking breaks from the cold. Canada’s Wonderland is fun for kids, but the experience feels more like a money trap than a family park. The atmosphere is designed to highlight thrills and fun, but underneath it’s clear the priority is profit, not guests. Parking is $39.99, food and drinks are overpriced, and water access is limited to old fountains or dirty sinks. You can’t bring in much from outside, yet security checks are inconsistent—sometimes too strict, sometimes too lax, raising safety concerns. Customer service is lacking; staff rarely smiled or welcomed guests. Ride wait times stretch 1–2 hours unless you pay $179.99 per person for Fast Lane Plus, which doesn’t even include all rides despite the marketing. My kids had a great time, but they weren’t the ones paying. For what I spent in one day, I could have taken a family trip down south. The park succeeds at creating a “fun” image, but in reality, it’s a polished price-gouge. If you want true value and enjoyment, a small-town festival will give you more smiles, less stress, and far better bang for your buck.

Excellent experience as it was my 1st time here. Super thrilling rides, had the best time. Wait times are awfully long with regular ticket, highly recommended to get fast track tickets. I am definitely going back, still lots to do. The park is clean, they are doing a great job.

Family and I went to this amazing St.Lawrence Market and it was so many shops inside for whatever you need. It had amazing Food options and so many Meats options also. What are the unique thing is how different culture kind of meat and cheese and fruits that were in this Market. The food was so fresh anywhere you tried to eat because it was made fresh right away. We try the pizza place and it was very delicious. The only reason why I give it a four star is because it would have been nice to see some Halal Options in Market as it had None and we had to find Cheese pizza to eat. Also bathroom could been cleaner! Overall Very Amazing and Unique Market to visit.

If you would love to visit local market as a tourist, this is the place to go! It has nice market atmosphere and I see long queue at many shops in the market by locals. It also cater both raw and ready to eat food. So you can buy beef steak to cook in your homestay or buy ready to eat food. Variety range from meat to seafood to fruits to bread to tarts to desserts and even maple syrup! Beautiful atmosphere and nice yummy food.... A nice brunch place and market!

Had a terrific time spending the day browsing St Lawrence Market. Bought an amazingly creative bouquet of flowers to brighten our hotel room. Had a delicious charcuterie lunch made from purchasing items from various vendors. Dessert was the largest berries we’ve ever seen, sweet, juicy, and delicious! Bought some pork belly to bring home after our trip. Purchased wines, a few souvenirs for our kids, generally had a nice day browsing through the enormous market. For reference I’d say it is about six times the size of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Pretty much every visitor to Toronto knows this market. It's in a class of its own among public markets. Think about the scale, the vibe, the amazing selection and quality of products. You can even eat and drink while you shop—how great is that? On a nice day (if it's not too cold), the outdoor patio is the place to be. It's spacious, with pigeons wandering around, and another market is just across the street. Picture this: you're eating a lobster roll or pasta, feeding the pigeons, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with friends. What a fantastic scene!

A nice place to visit, lots of options for fancy goods, food particularly seafoods, meats, cheese, backed delicacies, sweets and farm produce. Liked the bright, happy vibe and roaming carefree environment. It was Christmas buying time, it added colourfulness. Good for buying souvenirs too.

Wonderful experience of the oldest market in Canada! There was a booth that has been there since before Canadas birth! The main floor is where fresh food is sold. The lower level has all the international flavours… will visit again. Lively atmosphere… need sitting area in winter. Has a mini-museum in lowest level where the jail used to be.

Possibly the best market in downtown Toronto. Full of fresh and unique items. A really great peameal bacon sandwich. Fresh coffee. Fresh seafood, including sushi and pickled herring. If only it opened earlier

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the vastness of Lake Ontario. The enormous water body stretched out endlessly, and you could almost feel the peace that it brought to the bustling city. It’s hard to put into words how incredible it felt to take in such a stunning sight from such a height. While we soaked in the views, we also treated ourselves to some delicious food at the restaurant, which had its own glass floor. Everything down below seemed so small and far away—the buildings, the busy streets, even the people—all of it felt like a different world from up there. We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!

I visited the CN Tower with my family a few years back, and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You really get to see the city from a whole new perspective. The CN Tower is a must-see! A unique place any time of year. The view from the top is indescribable – the entire city looks like a scale model, with Lake Ontario stretching out to the horizon. The biggest attraction? The glass floor, which you step onto with a little trepidation, but then burst into a broad smile 😄 The whole experience was perfectly organized and with very friendly service. It's worth buying tickets online. If you're in Toronto, you simply can't miss it! I recommend it to anyone who wants to see Toronto from a completely different perspective. An unforgettable experience!

My first time experience here was amazing. The walk to the restaurant is a little bit much but once you are in the building it’s actually pretty neat. You go up the sky lift that gives you amazing views of the city and immediately out of the elevator you are guided and seated to you seat. Now I did make reservations that were honored so I’d recommend making arrangements ahead of time, we were there for a birthday and they accommodated my wishes of acknowledging the special with a cute placard and a special desert for his birthday with a cute placard. The food however was 10/10 I had the lamb shank and grits, with a deconstructed Caesar salad. Everything tasted great even my guys food was good he opted for the seafood route with a lobster style meal and Brussels. I can say 10/10 even our waiter was attentive and helped up pick out items and plan our meal accordingly. I missed his name but he was amazing and well wishes to him. I inquired about if there were any semi sweet wines and he recommended me one and even let me sample it ! Of course it was amazing right from Canadian vineyards which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend if you are okay spending a good penny.

We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

We absolutely loved our experience! It was so much fun for everyone, and truly perfect for all ages — especially the kids. There were so many activities that kept them entertained and excited the entire time. Everything was well organized, clean, and safe, which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a wonderful place for families to make memories together!

Ripley’s Aquarium is an amazing place for families. My son loved watching the stingrays — you can see them from above (bird’s-eye view) in open water, just a few feet away. The kids’ section has a small filtration system for play purposes, where children can learn how water moves through the aquarium. It’s educational, fun, and a great way for kids to explore and understand how filtration works. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Its a really cool, fairly big aquarium. It was a little cfowdwd, but other than that, it was fun. There were so many decorations and things to see, and unique sea creatures. The kids indoor playground looked fun, and all the tanks were very clean, and the creatures were well maintained. The only problem was the food. I there were more fikd options. The only cafeteria type food place only had a couple crowded tables, and barely had anything on the menu. But that wasnt enough to bring my rating down to a 4 stars, because the aquarium is so great. I love this place.

Awesome for all ages. Plenty of seating arrangements for elders. Touching the sting ray is the best thing as a climax kids can have. My kids had an amazing day. The aquarium has a lot of variety of sea creatures . Moreover the way it has been presented is amazing. Information display is very clear and simple. Its worth the money. Memorable experience.

9:00 a.m. Toronto My CityPASS said I could visit Ripley’s Aquarium anytime, so with an hour to spare before my CN Tower reservation, I decided to head inside. I asked the girl scanning tickets how long it usually took to get through. She told me about an hour and a half. It was Monday morning, and the place was completely empty. It was quiet, the kind of quiet that hums in your chest. Just the low music and the faint whoosh of water cycling through the tanks. The blue light made everything look like it was breathing. I wandered slowly, taking in the small faces of the fish and the strange calm that filled the rooms. There was even a “quiet tent” set up for anyone who needed a break. I understood why. If I had another encounter with that sawfish staring at me like it was judging my entire existence, I’d need it too. For a quick stop, it ended up being one of the most peaceful hours of my trip so far.

It was nice, but honestly, $56 for adults and $38 for children is way too expensive for what you offer. There were no glow fish, no dolphins, and not even a dolphin show. For the amount you charge, at least include some impressive or unique marine life that makes the visit feel worth the money. They seriously needs to improve its exhibits or reconsider its pricing it feels more like a tourist trap than an educational experience.

One of the best Aquariums I have ever gone to. Great tour of the water life in Lake Ontario, this place taught me a lot about the creatures in the water. They have a great jellyfish exhibit which has glow in the dark jellyfish under blacklight which was an amazing experience. If you have never visited this aquarium I highly recommend you check this place out!

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing! Stunning views of downtown Toronto en route by ferry to this quaint set of interconnected islands. Lovely boardwalk from Ward’s Island to Centre Island. Clean and lifeguard-supervised swimming area on Centre Island. Cute amusement park and gardens. Spend the day or just a few hours.

Toronto Islands are one of the best places to visit in the city. The view of the skyline from across the water is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Whether it’s summer or fall, the islands are stunning. There are three islands, each with its own charm. You can take a boat to any of them (check the schedule), or grab a water taxi near Harbourfront for a more relaxing ride. The return trip from the island is free even if you didn’t take the ferry. The are a few beaches which are clean and scenic, perfect for summer days. I highly recommend going on a weekday, ideally in the morning to avoid crowds (it can be VERY crowdy on weekends). On weekdays it is quiet, peaceful, and you might feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The best way to explore is by renting a bike through Bike Share. There are lots of them available. There is also a nice boardwalk on the opposite side of the islands (no bikes permitted though). But the best part is of course the iconic view from Centre Island. There are also a few cafes for a quick snack, plenty of picnic spots, lots of water stations. Overall, Toronto Islands are a must-see!

We ended up catching the ferry to Billy Bishop Airport (~10minutes). From there, we walked to Center Island. It was incredibly crowded for a weekday. Prices were high for pretty much everything. The highlights for us were the little farm, where we got to pet the ponies, donkeys, and goats. We caught the ferry back to the mainland maybe 40 minutes after exploring Center Island.

I always have a great time on this island—beautiful nature and delicious food. The only thing I didn’t like this time was that some people were going into the fountain pool, which isn’t allowed. Security should take steps to prevent this.

Visited Toronto Island Park around 3 PM in October with friends. We spent about two hours walking around and watched a beautiful sunset. It was a bit cold, and there isn’t much to do during the colder months besides walking, grabbing a coffee or snack at the small café, or checking out the restaurant that was open. The views of the city and lake were great, but overall it’s a quiet, simple experience in the off-season. Also, in winter the ferry doesn’t reach the main island, so you have to walk about 30 minutes to get there

had a great time at Toronto Islands. The place is peaceful and has amazing views of the city skyline. I went during the air show, and watching it from the island was a perfect choice. The planes flying over the water and skyline made it a great experience. We also had a small barbecue there, which added to the fun. The open space, fresh air, and calm surroundings made it a relaxing day. The ferry ride to the island was smooth and easy. Overall, it was a lovely day,good weather, exciting air show, tasty food, and a perfect spot to enjoy nature while still being close to the city.

Beautiful islands to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. It’s an easy ferry ride or water taxi from the harbours. During weekend a very busy place, so a wait for ferry is long. However if you wish to save time, get a water taxi which is quick for some extra dollars. Overall the island is very clean with great sights and activities for everyone. It’s huge with different sides of it. Centre island is the main attraction for a new person or tourist. Easy to walk around or rent a cycle for better experience. Lots of places to get a quick drink or snacks. Lot of signage’s available and its self explanatory. Best views of Toronto skyline from the islands.

I had a terrible experience here on January 8th. The shoes I bought were advertised on sale at a specific price and even had the tag with the price on them, but when I went to check out, the cashier cut off the tag with the sale price and I got charged $20 more. When I told the girl cashing me out she said that they didn’t have time to change the tags on the sale items at all that day but it was already 4pm in the day, I’m sure they could’ve had time to change it or at least honor the price on the shoe. Instead she said there’s nothing she can do and couldn’t give me the show for that price.

I come in, buy some boots..went home, only to realise i received a size larger ..not only the wrong size..but the wrong boot too ..they didn't fit, they were too big, bring them back to store.. and what does manager Azra say? They are WORN! CANT RETURN, THERES MUD ON THEM. How can they be worn when they never fit? Also, can someone please show me the mud?!?! Ive been shopping here for the last 5 years, buying everything from sneakers to boots, even the wife has bought from here so many times. Never had a problem before. All this really goes to show me is that they sold me shoes that had been worn before.

I wanted to buy a shoe for my girl but the attendant is not very helpful. She made me feel like im disturbing her several times when I asked for a size. I’m a salesman, too. My daughter and I walked into 5 or 6 different shoe stores on a quiet Tuesday morning in Square One. Not a single employee in any of those stores asked if we needed help finding anything and in one case he couldn’t be bothered to look up from his phone. Not until we walked into Journeys and were greeted by Ali. She was kind and helpful and steered us to a shoe that we would never have looked at. She is definitely a kind soul and a great employee! I came in to return a brand new pair of shoes and was told I couldn’t return them because they were worn. I bought them online and attempted to return them the same day I received them. They were a simple pair of black vans with not even so much as a spec of dust. Staff were condescending and made me feel like a criminal.

I purchased a pair of heeled Crocs from this store months ago. The cashier from that time recognised me when I went in recently, and asked about me. That made my day. I appreciate it. Also, the Crocs are awesome. I wear them everywhere. The price was very reasonable.

Great shoe selection for men, women and kids. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I ordered a shoe from them that they didn't have in store and there was a big mix up. When I came into the store to solve it, associates Tashèe and Alex went above and beyond to come up with a solution and I left satisfied.

Amazing venue designed for stage plays! The staff, architecture, washrooms and maintenance were all excellent. The food and drinks at the cafeteria could have had more variety though.

We went to see Ransacking Troy, and I was blown away. And not just by the play, but by the theater as well. A beautiful building inside and out, with a store, dining and bar areas and not a single bad seat in the whole house. I will definitely be coming back!

Incredible theatre built in 2020. Modern amenities, brilliant architecture, exquisite staging, lighting, and stagecraft. We saw two plays here (The Winter's Tale and Forgiveness) and both were extremely well done and enhanced by their presentation at Tom Patterson Theatre.

A very nice, modern theatre. The stage forms a narrow peninsula surrounded by the audience. This makes for a very different experience.

An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues. The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable. Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

I came here for a lunch buffet. Despite the bad reviews, I gave it a try. I lowered my expectations, so it was just like how I expected. The restaurant reminded me of a dormitory dining hall, extremely noisy and crowded. The food was not as bad as the reviews I read. There are plenty of options, one way or another you will find something to enjoy. It’s relatively cheap, so the price-quality point was good. However, your visit reason shouldn’t be for dining, but for the view and the overall experience. You can definitely find better food around the area, but you can’t always eat on top of the tower. So, I would suggest visiting this place once in your life and one time only.

We came for the views with a relaxed meal experience. We got that absolutely 100%. The food was good, without being brilliant. No complaints. The service was ok, but a little chaotic. The views and revolving restaurant (not the buffet) was what we came for, and what we got as an experience. Its a litle over priced for what you get for sure. We came to Niagara for a once in a lifetime experience, and this restaurant played its part. We also got to experience the views from the observation deck afterwards as well, so overall would do it again, even knowing the rest of what i mention.

While I did not go to the restaurant, I did go for the observation deck and it was so stunning. The view of Niagara Falls is amazing as well as being able to see the Buffalo and Toronto skylines. I highly recommend. The elevator up was also such a cool experience!

Recommended, view is worth it. Food was nice good portions, salmon was really tasty cook perfectly. Service wasn’t good we have two waiters one a girl was nice but the older guy was no patient and kind of rude. But we saw other tables were really happy with services maybe just our luck. Nice place to go, as the CN tower rotates so you can have a 360o view in around one hour period.

I really enjoyed the Prime Rib dinner in the revolving restaurant. You get 90 minutes for your reservation which is plenty of time to enjoy your meal and enjoy the views. The restaurant rotates once per hour, we got to see the falls 2x while we were sat. Afterwards we went to the observation deck as it is included. All of our meals were good with no complaints from any of us. I would definitely return as this was a memorable experience for me.

Had an amazing experience at the Skylon Tower! The views of Niagara Falls from the top are absolutely breathtaking. Tickets were around $23 per person, totally worth it for the panoramic scenery. The shop at the top was a fun surprise — the guy who owns it is super funny, friendly, and makes everyone feel comfortable. Overall, a great visit and a must-do in Niagara!

Absolutely stunning, i highly recommend visiting once in your life time. We went during a weekday in September and it was not very crowded. Pretty east walk from one side of the falls to the other (about 30-45 min at a very leisurely pace and stopping for photos.)

This was a bucket list adventure and it was absolutely amazing! The falls are so beautiful and powerful. The scenery is incredible in the park, especially in the fall. We did a boat ride to the falls and we could feel the water spraying up on us as it hit the water below. Of course Canada is just on the opposite bank.

Amazing place. So clean, so beautiful, with the falls accessible day or night. To access the closer parts, like the boat or the tunnel, you'll have to buy a ticket. Our group booked via the hotel. You pay more, but the tour guide/ driver reduces all stress and offers an in depth historical tour to boot. The falls themselves are so beautiful, majestic in size and yet so calming. Nature the way God intended. Incredible views, and the USA side more relaxed compared to the Canadian side. The view of the falls better from Canada overall, but you get up closer from the USA side. Weekends much busier than week days, but worth it no matter what day you choose. All hotels are within 10 minutes walk, so don't worry what one you choose. Free fireworks show at 10pm every night, lasting between 5 and 8 minutes. Spectacular place.

It was Wednesday morning when I arrived at Niagara Falls, and since it was the end of the season, the streets were almost empty. Only a few people, including me, could be seen around the state park or walking along the city roads. The view of Niagara Falls is absolutely breathtaking, and I highly recommend visiting the Shoreline Trail either early in the morning or in the evening.

Amazing experience, definately come early, it may be chilly but you will definately benefit from coming earlier. Parking wasnt a issue and crowds weren't as well. Parking is 10 dollars and e erything else besides the boat ride is free.

Walking behind and right up against the Falls is an unforgettable experience! The only other attraction that surpasses this is the Cruise that takes you into the heart of the Horseshoe Falls. Highly recommend this venue to get views of the Canadian Falls up close! One observation point gives you an incredible view up the falls to see the water cascade roll over into the Niagara river! Tunnel views are behind the falls with stunning close up of water rolling past you! They provide rain slickers to keep you dry We went in November no crowds no wait!!! Summer spring early fall high season wait can be 2 hours!!!! Definitely no exceptions do this off season!!!!!!

We traveled by bus from Union bus station to Niagara falls bus station, around 43 CAN/adult. There, we bought another ticket to the falls which was about 10 minutes far by that bus. The scene was breathtaking, especially that it was snowing. We walked around for an hour, took amazing pictures and had some coffee in the adjacent cafe, then came back the same way It is a must experience for those who visit Toronto, and it deserves the effort done to reach the location

Even though I’ve seen the falls many times from above, nothing quite compares to standing right behind that massive curtain of water and hearing the thunderous roar echo all around you. It’s surreal The moment you step out of the elevator you can already hear the rumbling of the water. it’s deep and powerful, like the heartbeat of nature itself. The tunnels lead you to two observation portals directly behind the falls. When you reach them, you see millions of gallons of water rushing down in front of you, just a few feet away. The mist and the sound together create an atmosphere that’s both thrilling and calming at the same time. Then there’s the outdoor observation deck which is easily my favorite part. Standing there, you can feel the mist spraying your face while watching the falls from an incredible vantage point. It’s one of those moments you don’t forget. I’d recommend going early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and get more time to take it all in. What else everyone knows Niagara falls! Just dress properly especially your sleeves that will be exposed if you do the mist boat cruise! Memories shop is also nice and have wifi. Didn t had to wait long for the boat on a sunday.

Great place to bring kids to, lot of different war time planes to see. There are 2-3 different types of aircrafts where the kids can go in and even sit in the cockpit. Lot of historical information related to specific planes and the role they played during various wars. They have 2 propeller planes which offer the opportunity to fly in them as well. They also have free flight simulators which are a lot of fun. There is a small merchandise shop which is nice. There is ample parking. overall lot of fun for kids and adults alike. Overall must visit place for anyone interested in WWII, Canadian history and aviation history.

Great place to learn about Canada's contribution to the world wars. Minus one star for the aged and disabled who wish to visit the open flight deck but have to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Thanks to all the young and experienced cadets who are really impressive with their product knowledge. The restorers and engineers are doing an amazing job fixing up this rare collection. The Runway cafe is really good value with all the usual fast-food you'd expect. And acknowledgment to the pilots who give their passengers an unforgettable experience

A surprise birthday flight on the C-47 Dakota was a very memorable experience. My original flight was cancelled due to poor weather conditions so I rescheduled the next available date which was Rememberance day. The pilots and other volunteers provided excellent information about the history of the plane. We flew over multiple Rememberance day services during the flight and experienced the excitement of banking into a turn. I've flown many times on commercial and smaller planes to northern communities but this flight will always stand out as unique with the rumbling roar of the piston engines and the bare bones interior. Would highly recommend to any plane enthusiast, a truly unforgettable experience.

Excellent place to visit and see the planes and learn how they were helpful to RCAF in defending sovereignty of our country. Interactive videos of decorated airforce personnel, who are not amongst us but the museum has kept them to see and learn about their lives. Place worth visiting.

We had our wedding here in October 2025. Stevie-Jane couldn’t have been more accommodating and easy to deal with. She communicated everything to us clearly and set expectations appropriately!! The day went as smooth as can be! All of our guests said the venue was so unique and fun! If you’re looking for a unique, and classy wedding venue, this is the place to be!!

What an awesome place. My 13 yr old wants to be a pilot and just being there with him was such a great experience. There was a large group of air cadets when we were there so we could not get a guide, but the self guided tour of the museum was fine. Would absolutely recommend to any plane enthusiasts and also anyone wanting to see some really neat Canadian history. Very well maintained, I really loved seeing these planes being restored, just awesome important work! Would definitely go back

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is more than just a museum – it’s an experience. What I loved most was the hands-on aspect. Unlike many museums where everything is kept behind ropes, here you actually get to climb into cockpits and explore the interiors of some of the aircraft. It felt amazing to sit where real pilots once sat and imagine what it must have been like to fly. The collection itself is incredible. Each aircraft comes with detailed stories and history. I was especially impressed that many of the planes are still in flying condition — it’s not just a static display, but a living museum. The museum is also very family-friendly. Kids seemed to love the interactive displays, and adults could spend hours taking in all the history. Overall, the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum offers more than just a look at planes — it’s an immersive, hands-on experience that connects you to Canada’s aviation history in a very real way.

I took the 75-minute tour today and absolutely loved it. Lou was my guide and he did a great job. I've been to around a dozen or so Frank Lloyd Wright properties, and this was the most spectacular. The property is sprawling, the home is meticulously restored, and the landscaping is so beautiful. This is a must do in Buffalo for any architectural buffs.

We took the 2 hr tour. Parking is in the surrounding streets and watch the signage for allowed days and times. Tickets were on every car illegally parked. The house is obviously impressive and massive. Being fairly tall, I really didn't care for the areas with low ceilings that were intended by wright to either move you along or to sit down. Interior woodworking was impeccable and outside construction flawless. The guide seemed focused on minute details of the owners life and family rather than the house. But it was informative and very well run.

Frank Lloyd Wright architecture lovers will be very excited to see the restoration and current condition of this beautiful piece of residential art! Every detail was understood and perfectly restored to its original condition. Part of the house and an adjacent FLW home were destroyed in the past and all of it was rebuilt to exacting details and materials. As soon as you step into the home, it takes your breath away with sights, lights and sounds like no other home. It is not Renaissance grand, but it is FLW grand and I like that better. The warmth of the woods, the glass that makes the light talk to you and the art all over the house secretly disguised as furniture are all amazing. The docents were professional, very knowledgeable that provided just enough time for guests to stop walk around and take it all in. They answered questions politely with additional stories about the family and additional history bits. There are several choices of options for the tour with progressively longer and more complete tours of the home, adjacent buildings, and grounds. I highly recommend touring this Frank Lloyd Home in Buffalo!

The tour began with an excellent video laying the background for the design and building of the estate. Dave, our tour guide, was a wealth of information, and very entertaining. He was able to respond to all questions. We took the two hour tour, which I would highly recommend. We went in October, but I would love to return in spring/summer when the gardens are in bloom.

What a spectacular place! My family enjoyed hearing about the history of the home and the relationship between Mr. Wright and Mr. Martin and their partnership in building this house. The house has been beautifully restored and is a treasure. Our volunteer guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We are glad to have gotten a membership and look forward to returning.

Amazing tour. We took the 2 hours tour and it surprisingly went very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the house, the history of the person that commissioned the house to be built, FLW, and the neighborhood. Even if tour are not a fan of FLW, you will enjoy this tour of the property.

We visited the Martin House on our way to Niagara Falls. The architecture is beautiful, and the history behind it is fascinating. It even inspired us to visit Paris to see the original piece of the Statue of Victory.

Came early for dinner but didn't want the buffet so ordered from the bar. Bar staff is great but they were overwhelmed with drink and food orders. We ordered at 5:30 and waited over an hour for our food. Another table waited 2 hours. We spoke with a female manager about our experience. Her response was that the customers are very happy with the buffet. Unfortunately the regular bar patrons are not happy but that didn't seem to matter. We later spoke with Rob, he was extremely understanding, listened very patiently and did what he could to take care of one of the tables that still hadn't gotten their order after 2 hrs. He is an asset to Delaware North as well as the bar tender, Rich, who was also very helpful and did his best given the situation. This is a good example for how to handle a negative situation. Well done Rob and Rich!

Great place to meet up with friends. Friendly bartenders and great service. Restaurant is clean with a good selection of menu options. Quick service area accommodates all your snacking needs. Local bands on the weekends play a variety of genres making it the perfect place to go on those rainy weekend nights!

Hamburg Gaming is a wonderful, clean, safe, fun casino. It is one of our most favorite casino's to visit and we live 90 minutes away. Love to play here every chance we get.

Erie County Fair - I forgot how great the stunt artists are!! Go. See. These. Shows!! The Red Trouser Show (hilarious and great acrobatic stunts). Also the Ultimate Stunt Circus - I realized a few times that my mouth was hanging open as I'm watching. These are impressive, Nationwide shows in our little neck of the woods! Some party of my WNY brain wants to discount the fact that they are coming here like a grade school project, but ALL of these acts are Great! Don't miss the Yummy Goodness here. Will Will was the nice guy up front when you enter and my mom didn't have her ID so I have he let her wait right with him and told me don't worry just go to the car and get her info. Very nice man and the money guy with the glasses it was very nice and funny especially I told him not to tell my wife I took some money out of the ATM and he just left and then my wife had to cash in her winnings and I said you didn't tell her did you? Nice man

It needs to be a little updated staff was friendly but they didn't have drinks excessible or easy to get to also. There wasn't many wait staff but A-OK casino. I do recommend this for my friends and I will be back. Oh yes You're also as a live band there which was a decent Band.

We had a quick stop before heading home. Beautiful park! Definitely want to come back and explore when we have more time. There are 6 different beaches entrances, 3 different piers, ferry rides and even a park. Beautiful!

Presque Isle State Park is an absolute gem along Lake Erie! The park is beautifully maintained, with clean restrooms, plenty of walking and biking trails, and several gorgeous beaches to choose from. Beach 6 and Beach 8 are the most popular, offering calm lakeshore waters perfect for families and a relaxing swim. My favorite is Beach 10 — the water there is crystal clear with open waves, giving it a more adventurous and refreshing feel. It’s a fantastic spot to just sit back, enjoy the breeze, and watch the waves roll in. Best of all, entry to the park is completely free! I highly recommend bringing your own food and turning it into a picnic — it’s the perfect way to spend a day by the beach.

Presque Isle was magnificent! I’m sure it’s super packed on the summer, but ours was a fall visit and while it was busy, it was not too bad! Great foot and bike paths. Lots of beach area, the water was great and the lighthouse didn’t disappoint even though it was closed. This was recommended from a friend and I’m so glad we went! Definitely worth the trip if you are within an hour or two drive.

This is seriously one of those places you visit and cznt wait to come too. Super safe, there's always rangers/ law enforcement driving around. Clean, with lots of garbage cans and restroom areas. I grew up around Lake Erie and I still get pleasantly surprised at how clear the water is at these beaches. Great place to grab Primanti Brothers and spend the afternoon.

I suggest everyone go! Beautiful views, nice beaches, clean, and a lot of areas for parking and easy access. Nice drive, beautiful fall colors, and lots of small things to do. Playgrounds, bathrooms, and parking all year. We were able to get out and in easily. Found lots of seashells and my littles had a blast. Take extra clothes, kids don't care if its cold!

It is absolutely beautiful here. I love view. It's nice sand to walk in, we had a great time! Free to go, and you can rent boats. I think they are pet friendly as well. I didn't go anywhere other than the beach area, so I'm not sure about restrooms, picnic areas, or playground.

The water was very shallow at beach 7, only up to hip height on an adult. We considered bringing floats but I was glad we didn't. I don't know for sure but we saw nobody using them &after being told we couldn't pass a pool football in the water I doubt floats would be allowed. Not the lake adventure we're used to &not what we were looking for. Beautiful area &you can see through the water all the way out to the buoy perimeter.

We had a wonderful experience. Even with different schools visiting the lines went quick. Everything was extremely clean. The only thing that I would say is that certain staff would let my daughter go down the sides by herself, as she is 48 in tall. However some staff when they switched over would not let her go without an adult. Other than that, there was so much to do. Not only is there a water park, but there's also an arcade. And there are lots of food courts and Quaker steak is attached to it. Play kids also love looking out over the balcony at the boogie board place and the wave pool. And they had so much fun at the boogie boards, and the instructors were so sweet. If they fell off too soon, the instructors would let them have another turn.

We had a great experience. A few things to keep in mind when visiting, take your own towels. It is a Cashless resort as well. Not a ton to do for your older kids/adults to do but still able to have some fun. The staircase for the water slides is a tight squeeze with inner tubes that all use the same stair case with 3 lines. All in all had a lovely experience, not enough lifeguards for all the areas. Definitely look for the best deals when going to enjoy the most for the least!

Found an amazing deal online! Included 4 passes for 2 days and an overnight stay! Staff was super friendly, facilities all very clean, kept the floors in bathrooms dry, and lots of places to sit. No long waits for slides and great kid area. Lifeguards watch and do their jobs. Arcade is huge. Only thing is food prices are a little steep.

Had a great time at Splash Lagoon with the family! It’s a classic indoor water park in Erie and perfect for kids and family members of all ages. Plenty of fun attractions, clean facilities, and a great way to spend the day together. Highly recommend for a family outing

SENSORY DAY 2025 (Friday May 16th) We took advantage of sensory day at Splash Lagoon. They had a special rate for an overnight stay. We were able to stay overnight and 4 passes to the water park, plus we bought an extra pass because we are a family of 5. Check in day you can arrive as early at noon for the water park and 4pm for your hotel. Check.out day the Waterpark opens at 11am for hotel guests only and noon for everyone else, you are welcome to stay all day. Destiny, at the Wyndham front desk, was so professional and efficient. We got our wristbands and headed over to the Waterpark. We found the Waterpark to be so clean, the staff was plentiful and accommodating. This place is very well run. There are alot of lifeguards and they are very focused on the water and safety of the guests, but not rigid. The food at the café was about $12 per meal, burgers-pizza-hot dogs-fries-chicken tenders-ice cream. There is so much seating you will not have a problem finding a seat. Tables and chairs as well as pool chairs by the wave pool. There are bathrooms located throughout the park, changing areas, family changing as well. There are lockers to rent at a kiosk, very easy and affordable. **you do need your own towels, they do not provide them at this location ** The hotel was pretty nice for what we paid. Our room was on the 5th floor. We had 2 queen/full beds as well as a pull out. Plenty of pillows and towels. There is a jacuzzi tub that was big enough for me, my 8yo and 5yo to soak in together. We had a coffee table, and eating table, a desk, a swivel tv, a mini fridge and freezer, microwave and a small bar area with a coffee pot. Breakfast was your usual free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle makers, juice, fruit, breads. Lots of coffee. There was a ton of room to eat in the breakfast bar. The staff there were hustling and getting everything cleaned up as guests turned over. Overall, this was a great stay.

Took our kids there as a weekend getaway and they absolutely loved it! They are talking about making reservations again they had so much fun. Their favorite thing to do was the surf simulator, the staff there Saturday was great with kids encouraged them to do their best followed by high fives and the urge to try again! All staff seemed friendly, restrooms and changing rooms were very well maintained and clean, floors we're kept as dry as possible to prevent fall hazards. We will definitely be going again

PNC Park is hands down one of the best ballparks in the country! Getting there is incredibly easy – it’s just a short walk from downtown Pittsburgh, and the area around the stadium is very walkable. Entry into the park was smooth and hassle-free, which made the whole experience even better. The ballpark itself is beautiful with plenty of concessions available throughout. As expected at a major league park, food and drinks are on the pricey side, but the variety of options makes it worth it. The views are absolutely spectacular – you get an amazing backdrop of downtown Pittsburgh and the river, which adds so much to the game-day atmosphere. Even if your seats aren’t the best, PNC Park has plenty of areas to move around and take in different perspectives of the game. From the outfield concourses to open standing areas, every angle seems to offer a great view. Overall, the combination of easy access, great amenities, and one-of-a-kind views make PNC Park a must-visit for any baseball fan or visitor to Pittsburgh.

The stadium has good history, atmosphere. Easy to walk to from nearby hotels. Very clean, staff friendly and accommodating. This was the only stadium that the usher wiped down my seat so far. We've been to several. Nice area, worth the trip. It was kind of confusing to walk around inside the stadium to check it out. Before we sat in our seats.

This is my favorite ball park. We travel the country just to see baseball stadiums. This is a great place. The view... the people. MLB has to do a better job with the food but the prices are below average and if you go when the gates open drinks were on happy hour prices. The ushers were great. This is the one ballpark that you want to sit higher up on the first base line so you have a great view. Normally I like to sit as close as I can to the field but the view is worth the sacrifice and the tickets are way cheaper. Take in as many games as you can while you're there.

Calling yourself the Best Ballpark in America takes some big ones. Being an SF Giants fan, I might have to disagree. I attended a Sunday afternoon game here, was a rather warm day, but my seats were soon in the shade and I was able to enjoy the rest of the game. The views are quite stunning, it’s a perfectly situated ballpark. My only complaint was that the concessions weren’t as special as the park.

The best baseball views in the country. The concourses are open and have lots of food and drinks available. Large bathrooms, easy to find seating. The exterior has lots of foor and bar options and the walk over the Clemente bridge makes for a great outing.

Best ballpark in the world with the best view of Pittsburgh! The employees are all very friendly- everyone at security, to the elevator operators or the vendors all make you feel immediately welcomed and seem very proud to work there. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking which is anywhere from $25-$40 on game day. The lots fill up quickly, so be prepared for a walk from the parking lots or garages surrounding the stadium. Food prices are also outrageous but there’s a lot of choices. I ordered the a slice of “world-famous” Caliente pizza which was huge and equivalent to two slices and cost $12 a slice. It was very good and also very greasy! All in all, if you’re a baseball fan, add this ballpark on your list to visit…you won’t be disappointed!

We went for a game and it was an awesome experience!! We loved how the bridge was closed from cars so we could walk comfortably without having to worry about cars. I love how there are several entrances to the park. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. I love how there are so many things the kids can do. The food stands look like airport style restaurants and everything was clean. We had an overall very good experience!

On a beautiful sunny afternoon, my dad, my husband, and I decided to explore Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. First and foremost, the parking situation is absolutely atrocious! We drove around for probably about 15 minutes, just looking for a spot before we finally managed to find one about half a mile away. I think with it being located so close to two university campuses, parking is never good here. The terrible parking situation aside, this place is absolutely beautiful! The variety of plants and various vegetation in beautiful arrangements was definitely something to behold. We had such a wonderful time, exploring the exhibits and even had fun looking for the hidden toucans in the various rooms. Such a pleasant afternoon and definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in Pittsburgh.

Phipps Conservatory is an absolute masterpiece. As an educated plant collector and a partner with a degree in horticulture, we came in with high expectations—and Phipps exceeded every one of them, earning a 10/5 rating from us. ​The level of thought and care that has gone into every single space is breathtaking. Beautiful botanical gardens! The pictures speak for themselves. The art in the orchid room was my favorite. Mysterious little statue men. I wish the signage was a little more obvious so I could know what I’m looking at.

Adding my 5 star review into the mix because this place was amazing. Beautiful botanical displays of all shapes and sizes all under these magnificent victorian glass greenhouses. You will feel like you were magically whisked off to London or Paris for the afternoon. Worth the visit to escape the madness and chaos of the world around you. Today I needed a nice, calm, relaxing, warm, inviting stroll through a garden and I was glad I stopped by. Thank you to everyone, especially Barbara keeping us going left and on the tour. 😎😎

Really cool experience for those interested in botanical gardens. Well worth the price of admission. Parking can be a tad tough to find on the street so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of exhibits inside with rooms dedicated to rainforests, chrysanthemums, and ferns. My favorite was the cactus room!

I’ve been to several large botanical gardens, but the Phipps absolutely blew me away! My dad and I spent several hours walking around and I left feeling inspired and having learned a lot. This is an absolute must-visit, even if you’re only in Pittsburgh for a day or two.

What a wonderful experience! We've been here many times through the years and its always enjoyable. The Fall flower show was especially beautiful, and a treat to stroll from one area to another. I look forward to the next time here. We did learn if you go first thing in the morning (9:30), parking is readily available.

I enjoyed this funicular side trip. The view at the top was nicest part of the trek. Crossing the street from the parking lot felt like a game of Frogger. Up top there’s a few touristy things to see, but not much. I’m biased because I’m comparing this with the many I’ve done in the EU. Overall it was a nice side adventure, but not much to write home about.

Ticket prices r great and it’s a really cool experience. It’s old time feel to it which is cool it’s like u stepped back in time which I always love that feeling. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because when we went their was a group of rowdy teens playing around in the car and shaking it the whole way up the hill making it a little scary to say the least and the staff did nothing about it. But we will definitely be returning again

I didn't enjoy my visit for several reasons: 1. You have to pay for parking, which costs $5 for 2 hours. 2. I came with my wife and kids (13, 10, and a baby in a stroller). It was very hot, and we all felt tired. We had to wait in a long line to buy tickets, and they only accept exact cash. 3. The staff were rude and unhelpful, with one lady shouting instructions through a microphone. 4. The gift shop at the top was small and sold trivial items. This place needs updating. They should accept credit card payments, have a website for advance ticket purchases, and add air conditioning—it was unbearably hot.

Make sure you have exact change in cash! $2.50 each way so $5 per person. No change or credit cards here. Great view of Pittsburgh and some cool spots to check out at the top of Mt Washington

Ride the cable car At Duquesne Incline and see the best views of downtown Pittsburgh So whenever you see pictures of Pittsburgh, I am sure you are looking it downtown with and cable car in the foreground. it is easily one of the best things to do in Pittsburgh. From the cars, there are great views out over the city. Once used to transport workers all the way back since the 1800s. they are still using two original 1877 cable cars, the Duquesne Incline is a working museum, with the upper station providing photos and displays on the history of the incline. at the top, you can also see the working mechanism, wheel, and all. I don't know if it is the norm, but there was a guide in our cabin and he gave a brief idea about incline history, and how it come into the picture. Duquesne Incline was rescued and restored by a group of local residents in 1963 and still delights residents and visitors with its original, elegant, wooden cable cars Parking: $10 and that's valid for 24 hours. Parking is more expensive than tickets which are just $5. You don't pay at the counter, you put the exact amount in a cylindrical box (nobody checks what you are putting in the container). a counter lady comes in a while and shoves it with a stick. i have never seen a system like this. if you want to experience a slice of the city’s long history, go for it.

Rode the incline up and down as part of an excellent sightseeing tour offered by Molly's Trolleys. There is a panoramic view at the top of Pittsburgh from the north side. The ride is in a no-frills vintage car and there are antique photos in the waiting area.

The ride is worth the wait. The view up top is good, but the ride from the from the back of the car is really unique. It is shaky and is not smooth, which made it a fun ride.

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you should check out the Tipsy Cauldron pop-up! And if you’re not, it’s still totally worth it. The atmosphere is a perfect escape with great music, the coolest decor, and the friendliest staff. The food and drinks have the cutest presentation & they taste even better!

I went to The Delvin Miller Adios Pace for the Orchids and it was such a fun, unique experience! This was my first time at a harness race, and I was blown away by the energy, the tradition, and how much there is to take in. From the starting gate to the final race, the day was packed with excitement. I even got to go behind the scenes to see the paddock and ride in the starting car, something I never expected, but will never forget! The whole event was really well-run, with an awesome mix of races, food, music, and a big purple theme that made everything feel festive and fun. If you're looking for something different to do in Pennsylvania that still feels local and exciting, this is it. 10/10 recommend checking it out — I’ll definitely be back next year! 🐎💜

I go there to country line dance. The floor is spacious & seating is abundant. There is a convenient bar by the dance floor! Bring your slick boots though. The floor can be grippy. The DJ plays the latest dances with some older ones mixed in.

Really cool casino with kind of an oldie type style. I really enjoy our time here and playing in the arcade. With the bowling alley would be open until 4AM or something though but it might be under a different company possibly. I included a photo of the arcade which I think is in the perfect place for the casino since it appears to be filling an empty space and right outside the bowling alley which makes sense. I will be returning to enjoy the arcade and possibly bowling next time. Thank you for the memories and laughter we had tonight. 😄🥰

The Tipsy Cauldron Pop-Up Halloween Bar at The Meadows Casino was amazing! Such a fun and unique experience — 10/10! The staff were super nice and so committed to the Harry Potter theme, which made the whole night feel extra magical. The decorations were incredible, the drinks were delicious, and the whole vibe was festive and fun. Definitely recommend checking it out — can’t wait to come back next year

Attended a concert there. Wouldn’t go to another outdoor concert there ever. They ziptie small folding chairs together and you have no space. You can’t even sit properly every other person had to sit forward to fit. And the isles were so close together you couldn’t get in and out. Ticketmaster shows section 7 directly center of stage, however they set it up shifted one section down the whole way so instead of center we were to the right. And section 8 was center. But it wouldn’t have mattered anyway. They allow people to stand in the isle behind section two which is higher than the back sections already. So you literally can not see the stage even standing. And one tv monitor is also set up to low because the people are just blocking it. Perhaps if when they moved the concert from indoors to outdoors if they didn’t change us from being section 2 to 7 without notification it would have been semi enjoyable. Only two stars because the place was clean.

Just like the other Hollywood Casinos in PA, this one was really nice. Stopped here on a Monday night to watch the Phillies in the 2025 playoffs. Great venue to catch a game or place a bet. The TVs are massive and there were multiple games/content on. The bar staff was super friendly and helpful for us business travelers. I had the ribeye steak and didn't know what to expect beings it was a sports bar. It was superb! Cooked exactly as requested and great flavor. Had some fun in the casino, but the slots seemed really tight. Not many bonuses and didn't get to play much for the money put in.

Overall, we liked it. We stayed in the Byrd Wing in the Lodge and it was very dated. The toilet was so close to the bath tub and carpet in the bathroom areas aren't the most sanitary. Super confusing layout and honestly, not very kid friendly. No kids menus at any of the restaurants or highchairs/kids cups. We went down to the lake for the Fall Nights and beware there is zero lightening on the walking path down. We used our phone flashlights. Cars do fly around so be very alert! This place is nice for adults, kids I would take elsewhere next time. Also, no fridge or microwaves in rooms. Ice machines and most vending machines did not work properly. Staff was very friendly though! I think the property just needs a good upkeep/overhaul.

First time at Oglebay and won't be my last. Great, very spacious room with inside and outside access which I love. Plenty of amenities and super friendly staff. The fig and pig pizza at Skyline was worth the stay alone but the staff in the bar were excellent. Kyasia made killer old fashioneds and Tyler and Emmy kept things lively. Definitely will return.

Chalets are musty, no microwave, no frig, have to go into lodge and walk down long halls to just get ice. Front desk would not accommodate and switch rooms. Night staff was helpful. Housekeepers were very sweet & helpful. Food was delicious from Skyline especially the fish.

I called their customer service for a future booking for my big family of 10. Call customer service for some information on the five connecting room not only was she Super rude but also hung up on me when I tried to clear a question. I will definitely be taking my $7000 vaction somewhere else. I see why you have 3 star customer service is everything.

The staff is friendly BUT. There where bed bugs in the cabin. It was a whole scramble on their side which ended with improper treatment. They treated the cabin but the bed bugs were back the next night. We did not get to use the room all day so we had to eat at their restaurant which is incredibly overpriced, any there are not many free activities onsite. We got 50% of the cost comped, but that doesn't cover the fact that we now have to deal with the "did we bring them back" issue and we couldn't eat the food we bought to save money. They initially said we would be comped 100% of the price of the room but then on check out there was all of a sudden protocol and because we did not move to the smaller cabin that did not fit our needs, we only got a 50% comp. This trade off was by no means communicated to us at any point until check out. The onsite coordinators for the wedding we were there to attended also barely coordinated, and its internal resources. -Added note on 10/23/2025 to respond to the businesses comment. It was a cabin reservation for a group. Reservation was under my friend. He has only received "Sorry that was your experience" platitudes. It is very clear that bed bugs are expected by management.

Had a great anniversary. Room was spacious and everything was nice. They even gave my hubby and me a complimentary bottle of wine for our 27 th anniversary. Will be back again!

My review is about the Oglebay website. It is so outdated. It is not easy to navigate. It does not provide photos of each room in the cottage or home you are renting. People would like to see what they are paying for and not have any surprises when they get there. Your website is not mobile friendly. My recommendation is to reach out to your website company 'FINE' and come into this century.

Parking was fairly easy with plenty of parking spots(if you selected a your time online and just show up for your scheduled time) if not parking can be much harder. Once you arrive you check in at the gate and then the pavilion at the desk in the middle and they will get you in the next tour regardless of scheduled time. The type was about an hour and it feels very scripted to stay on time. But you have time to go through parts of the house and all of the ground on your own. We found the experience to be very good and run very smoothly. The audio devices were good so you could always hear your guide even if you couldn't see them. Give this review a like 👍❤️ now please. And thanks for reading. There are restrooms at the pavilion but those are the only ones. There is a cafe with coffee and some light snacks. There is a building about the Kaufman's, if you don't know then go to that exhibit before or after your tour. There is is a gift shop with lots of stuff for your flw fix. Pro tip: Definitely but tickets online in advance for the best experience 💯

Book tickets ahead of time. Parking is easy, but you’ll need to wait for your scheduled entry. Restroom is available as well. It’s an easy walk around the site. I’ve always admired Frank Lloyd Wright’s work—Fallingwater is beautiful and unique, though it didn’t move me as much as some of his nearby designs. Still, worth visiting at least once for its remarkable setting and design.

Would have been 5 stars, but a third of the outdoor balconies are under renovation (new stucco and paint), detracting from FLW's elegant design. Didn't expect to need reservations during the fall shoulder season, but when we arrived at the gate we were told all tours were booked for the day! $20 per person to walk the grounds and the exterior of the buildings (there are two!) was well worth it, even though we didn't get to go inside.

Frank Lloyd Wright was a genius! I was fortunate enough to tour this on a ninth grade field trip; decades later privileged to revisit this architectural marvel. The harmony between nature and home, water actually runs through the home, with a pool, plunge pool, stairs that descend into the stream and of course, falling water. Step back in time to see how the ultra wealthy Kaufmann’s spent weekends or holidays outside of Pittsburgh. Original furnishings, appliances and priceless art await you as if you stepped back in time. The in-depth tour was exceptional; Ron C. and all the staff are rightfully passionate about the preservation and sharing of this one of a kind masterpiece! Recommend making reservations for tours well in advance. There is free dedicated parking. Please note the tours are not ADA friendly with uneven ground and narrow rock stairs.

So spectacular to see one of the most iconic homes ever built in person, again - the first time I was here was in June of 2020 and the health restrictions kept us from touring the inside, so this fall season view and inside tour of the magical Fallingwater masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright was all I'd hoped for and more! Frank's a family favorite, and I've toured many homes and displays of his work in NY, IL, VA, PA, OR, CA and AZ, but this one takes you to another place and time more distinctly. Hearing the little extra details of the family, their style, the furniture, the history from its construction to its endowment, and the maintenance of such a monstrous endeavor plus current renovations were all fascinating! The only thing that could possibly make it better was if it was a Bed & Breakfast and you could have your morning coffee with Frank and the owners themselves. To live in a FLW house must truly be a magical existence. I booked a tour, and recommend doing so in advance.

Stopped here while in the area. House and grounds tours were sold out so all we could do was the $20 property pass. It was well worth it. It was a beautiful day and we were able to follow the well marked paths, look in the windows and even walk on all the patios and porches of the home and carriage/guest house. The walk to the lookout is worth it as well. If you have any interest in FLW, or architecture, this is not to be missed.

We had a wonderful tour guide that provided information on this house & the that lived & vacation there. The house is amazing everything is be conserved to protect it for the future. The grounds were beautiful. Lots of trails to walk & explore. We tried but the rain wouldn’t cooperate. The have a nice cafe with drinks, bake goods & sandwiches.

This park offers 4 waterfalls. Although this is listed as ADA, only the muddy falls trail is ADA accessible. The trail leading to the other falls starts off very deceivingly flat. You are then greeted to stairs leading down to the first waterfall. Unfortunately we the little one in a stroller so we couldn’t go down to see it. We then thought we would proceed down the trail to the second waterfall only for the trail to become steeper and full of roots. Being optimistic, we continued down the bumpy path until we were stopped by large rocks. We pushed the stroller back up and walked the road back. We then found the muddy waterfall trail which was ADA accessible to view the top of the falls. However, if you wanted a nice photo at the bottom, you would need to take the steps down. So for the $10 parking fee, we were able to see the top of 1 waterfall. Might try the trail again once our little one can walk

The trail I mostly easy. Not crowded. The beginning and end are especially easy. I actually was a fan of it. Typically I'm not big on hikes because of my asthma and weak legs which I'm working on. But this was pretty nice. Relaxing too! I would actually do this trail again.

One of our favorite spots we visited this trip to Deep Creek. We went on a day where the temps were in the high 80’s but with the shade and mist coming off the waterfalls it wasn’t a problem. Ages 6-40 hiked with us and it was friendly for all ages. Some of the more steep hills can get slippery with rocks but overall it was a great trip. Plenty of shade and great sights.

My wife and I, (both senior citizen's) walked the trails between all the falls. It's about 2 1/4 miles all together. All the trails were well maintained and each scenic lookout provided beatiful views. We would highly recommend visiting this park.

One of my most favorite places to capture weddings and elopements. The trails are nicely marked and they have options for both a more scenic challenging hike as well as an easy trail option with handicap parking that puts you super close to Muddy Creek Falls. The staircase of various waterfalls here make for a full day of fun for sure. Just be mindful you are in nature, remember to leave no trace and that yes there are snakes and bugs, and larger fuzzy forests guests as well. Also if visiting make sure to wear the appropriate footwear, the rocks are slippery and the scenic trail has many rocks and tree roots and places where mud is a thing depending on time of year and rainfall. They offer the most lovely stone pavilion with dual fireplaces as well that is most perfect for smaller events, there is even a water pump nearby the pavilion, as well as restrooms. The restrooms are well, park restrooms and could always use some assistance in cleanliness but they aren't the worst I have seen either. Just remember it is a State Park, so it does close once darkness hits. They are mostly dog friendly, Memorial Day weekend they are not. That is something to keep in mind if you plan on visiting. Memorial Day weekend is usually super busy and packed and while parking is usually plentiful, that weekend.... not so much. Also to keep in mind, once the first week of October passes it is often chilly here. Pack some coats and wear warmer layering clothes. Deep Creek is also known for random snow even in late spring or early fall. So have options packed just in case and check the weather. Cell phone service in the park also isn't the best. Especially if you are visiting from outside the area and have Verizon as your cell phone carrier, make sure to pre download your google maps so you don't get lost.

Beautiful place for sure. Just wish it had more water. So glad I finally got to visit. A good 5 hours from home but well worth the trip! So serene, calm, quiet, and peaceful. Well managed. ❤️

I havent been to swallow falls in 10 years. This summer i stayed at the campsites with a friend and it was great. Not too ocupied [intentionally planned]. The bridge to the 5.5 mile hike was closed, so we just followed the loop around back to the road. The day we left we went to the waterfalls and adventured on the rocks [make sure to have 3 points of contact.... no need for avoidable accidents]. Definitely planning more trips on the future. Always a good time at swallow falls.

Falls were nice. Water level in the river was low due to low rain this summer. Well maintained path and stairs to access the falls. The Lodge was clean and the staff was friendly. Smokehouse restaurant was adequate. Park is beautiful with well maintained roads. Stayed 3 days so was able to walk several trails. Well marked trails that are challenging for people who enjoy hiking.

This stop was our two-day “play and reset” window between Acadia NP and New River Gorge NP — a quiet breather in the beautiful WV mountains. We stayed at the lodge and had breakfast there both mornings, mostly because options nearby are… well, nonexistent. Luckily the buffet was generous, the food was decent enough to fuel the day, and the views helped everything go down a little easier. Service, however, could definitely benefit from a hospitality tune-up — a smile and a bit of warmth go a long way before coffee! That said, the park itself is lovely. We enjoyed peaceful trails surrounded by lush forest, and the falls are truly worth the trip — dramatic and grounding. I got in a few good hikes, while my husband happily took in the waterfall views from the accessible paths, which are thoughtfully laid out and easy to navigate. This is a beautiful park! We went to the Blackwater Falls overlook. It is handicapped accessible and a beautiful view of the falls. If you can do steps, there are 2 trails to the falls, one has 1/3 fewer steps than the other. The friendly staff in the visitor center are more than helpful and can tell you where each begins. We ran out of time, so that was all we could there.

We walked the River Road Trail, which takes you from the town of Davis straight to Blackwater Falls. Across the trail, there is a ton of beautiful scenery, and streams. We’ve been visiting this state park for several years and didn’t know about this trail, I would recommend checking it out!

This place is absolutely gorgeous! We decided to take our time on the way back from our honeymoon and stopped here to see the falls and state park, we were blown away by how beautiful it was, how up-kept the roads and trails were, and of course how amazing the falls were! It was so worth going out of the way for and we are so happy to have experienced this beautiful state!

What a dream! This is the most beautiful park I’ve seen in West Virginia. There are numerous hiking trails and enough activities for the whole family to enjoy. It’s worth the trip! There are restaurants, gas stations and grocery stores nearby.

I recently took the paranormal tour at the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum, and it was an unforgettable experience! The tour was incredibly informative, diving into the asylum’s haunting history with fascinating details about its past patients and eerie events. Our guide was fantastic—engaging, knowledgeable, and great at balancing spooky stories with historical facts, making the atmosphere both thrilling and respectful. The tour itself was a blast, blending creepy vibes with just the right amount of fun, as we explored the asylum’s shadowy halls and learned about its paranormal activity. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, this tour is a must-do for its unique mix of history and chills. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Took my 15YO daughter on a day trip and she loved it. We took the 90 daytime paranormal tour. It covers all 4 floors and lots of information. Our guide (Kaylee) was wonderful. She new the historical side of the building along with paranormal facts. It's highly recommended anyone go see it. The only cautionary thing to be said it's cold in the winter, we went in the end of October on a 50° day and it was pretty chill in the building and I can only imagine it being hot in the summer. It's not climate controlled do dress accordingly and hydrate if you will be going in the summer.

My son and I visited on 11/2/25. We did the 4 floor tour with the medical center. Our guide (who I forgot her name but will add a pic to give her credit) was very informative and knowledgeable. I asked a lot of questions and she answered them all. Some of the stories were very frightening and some heartbreaking. It’s sad to think about what a lot of people went thru here. But it is nice to be able to visit and learn the history of this place. I’ve been wanting to visit for years and finally got the chance to. I was not disappointed! And this place is massive too! You really have no idea until you get inside. We loved it so much that we added the criminally insane tour after. We plan on coming back and touring some parts we missed. It’s very cold in the buildings so dress accordingly. And the price of these tours are extremely fair considering that all the money goes into the upkeep and restoration of this facility. Thank you for an amazing adventure! We’ll be back for sure!

My husband and I went on the 4th floor tour and were very impressed! Our tour guide, John, was excellent! He spoke loudly and clearly, was very knowledgeable, and took plenty of time to answer all of our questions. The tour covered a good portion of the facility, and we had ample time to look around and take photos. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended! Please dress warmly if you visit during the cooler months. The tours are on the hour so we didn't have to wait long. We went on a Saturday and had 17 people in our tour.

Went on 3 tours. Nick, John and Kayley were extremely kind, knowledgeable about their tours and answered questions with ease. The building was clean, both bathrooms were clean and they welcomed both of our service dogs in with no problems. This location is animal friendly anyways which makes it much easier. The history is worth the money in itself. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful! I give it all 5 stars!!

We did the historical tour (Ashley was a phenomenal guide) and it was fascinating. The architecture, the stories, and the history packed into those walls are incredible. While everything was great, the cherry on top was meeting Pickle the opossum in the gift shop. He completely stole my heart. 💜

We visited in late January and had a great experience. They had a ton of snow. Loved the feel of a real ski resort with the village, plenty of trails, and a great ski school for the kids. Pretty easy to navigate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Silver Creek is a great alternative as well.

I’ve only visited in the summertime and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful scenery, fun activities, and great shopping and dining options. I loved riding the chair lift to enjoy the scenery and was surprised when a doe and fawn ran across the grass right in front of me. There are wildflowers everywhere. My kids loved the climbing wall and the lake with kayaks, canoes, and inflatables.

Awesome veiws, awesome trails, the personnel were friendly and helpful, the eateries were really good, clean and inviting, cant wait to return! Might even buy a condo! If your into outdoor activities weither mountain biking, snow sports or just hiking, snowshoe has it all!

We absolutely love Snowshoe! It is only 10 hours from us and we go at least once a year. We have stayed all over the resort, from the inn to different cabins/condos over the years. There is something for everyone and I love that it never gets too crowded. The snow cannons make for good skiing even if Mother Nature doesn’t produce much.

A Magical Christmas Getaway at Snowshoe Mountain – 10/10, Highly Recommend (Especially if You Like Joy, Snow, and Santa) We spent our Christmas holiday nestled in a cozy cabin at Snowshoe Mountain, and let me just say—if you’re looking to turn your holiday into a Hallmark movie with better snacks and actual snow, this is the place. From the moment we arrived, everything felt like it had been perfectly scripted for a festive family adventure. On our second night, we were gifted 8 inches of fresh snow—like Mother Nature had read the memo and decided to deliver a Christmas miracle. The kids woke up to a postcard-perfect white Christmas, complete with jaw-dropping views and the kind of scenery that makes you pause mid-sentence just to soak it all in. We booked our lift tickets alongside the cabin a couple of months in advance (pro tip: plan ahead), and the pickup process was smoother than a freshly waxed snowboard. We were first in line at Top of the World rentals, and the staff had everything down to a science. Lift lines? Barely a thing—our longest wait was four minutes, which is just enough time to adjust your goggles, question your skill level, and remind yourself you’re here for fun, not the Olympics. Lockers were available for all the gear and personal items we didn’t want to launch off a mountain, and with every lift running thanks to the fresh snow, we got in a full day of skiing—interrupted only by vital snack-and-cocoa breaks. Transportation around the resort was a breeze thanks to the on-call shuttle service. With limited parking, we were thankful not to play bumper cars in the snow. The shuttles picked us up and dropped us off like VIPs on vacation, which, honestly, we were. Despite it being the holiday, everything was open as usual—some spots even extended their hours to host a Santa and Mrs. Claus tree lighting event, complete with hot chocolate, candy canes, and enough Christmas spirit to warm even the iciest toes. Yes, the shops were charming and touristy (we expected nothing less), and yes, the food prices reflected their mountaintop exclusivity—but when you're dining at the top of the world, a little sticker shock is part of the view. We also signed up for the snow tubing family pack, which was an absolute blast. Laughter was non-stop, snowballs may have flown, and no one left with dry gloves or a straight face. There's also a delightful little coffee shop in the village—perfect for warming up, refueling, or just pretending you're a winter sports pro on a break. In short, Snowshoe Mountain gave us everything we hoped for and more: unforgettable family time, spectacular scenery, and memories that will outlast the pine needles still hiding in our luggage. Whether you’re skiing, sipping hot cocoa by the fire, or simply gazing at the snowy mountain peaks, Snowshoe is where holiday magic happens. 10/10 would recommend. Best Christmas we’ve had in years—and that’s saying something, because we’ve had some pretty great ones.

This is a very nice place. The scenery is beautiful. We have a family reunion going on here with ages from 70+ to 7 years old and there is plenty to do for every age group and mobility. Wheel chair friendly and low steps for those that are physically challenged. Lots of hiking trails and biking opportunities. Bars, restaurants and shopping are all within walking distance, includng small grocery store. If you are staying more than a couple of nights I would recommend that you buy your groceries before you come up the mountain (Super Walmart & IGA are available.

Wonderful ride through the gorge. Well worth the 45 minutes that I cludes a few stops to grap pictures. Scan the QR code to listen to the audio file of history as you take the ride through beauty and history. The rangers at the welcome center was awesome!

We came for bridge day and it was spectacular! They close the bridge and catapult adventurous spirits straight into the New River below. Over 300 base jumpers from all over the world put on their packs and parachute down. It’s a sight to see! Lots of great vendors, food and events at during that weekend. We attended the taste of bridge day the evening before at the adventures on the gorge and it was awesome!

One of the most iconic views in West Virginia. Seeing the bridge in person is completely different from photos, it stretches across the gorge like it’s floating, and the scale doesn’t fully hit you until you’re standing at the overlook looking out across miles of mountains. The bridge itself is one of the longest single-arch steel bridges in the world and also one of the highest in the U.S. It sits almost 900 feet above the river. The engineering alone is impressive, but the landscape around it is what really makes it special. The mountains roll in layers, and in the fall the colors are stunning reds, oranges, golds, and deep greens all stacked into the valley. There are several great viewing spots, but the Canyon Rim Visitor Center overlook and Long Point Overlook give the best angles. Long Point especially feels unreal, you’re right across from the bridge, eye-level with it. If you visit in October during Bridge Day, people BASE jump and rappel directly off the bridge, it turns into a full festival. Whether you’re hiking, just passing through, or stopping for photos, the New River Gorge Bridge is a must-see. Beautiful, massive, peaceful, and unforgettable.

If you love history and nature at the same time, one of the best place to see in USA 🇺🇸❤️. 🏞️📍SUMMER 2024 The completion of the New River Gorge Bridge on October 22, 1977 solved a travel challenge. The bridge turned a 40-minute drive into less than a minute. It removed the need to navigate down narrow mountain roads across an ancient river. When it comes to road construction, mountains do pose a challenge. At New River Gorge, the challenge transformed into a work of structural art. The New River Gorge Bridge is the longest steel span in the western hemisphere. It is also the third highest bridge in the United States. The New River Gorge Bridge is one of the most photographed places in West Virginia. In 2006, the U.S. Mint chose the bridge to represent West Virginia on the state commemorative quarter. In 2013, the National Park Service listed the New River Gorge Bridge in the National Register of Historic Places. This listing signifies the importance of the bridge as a historic resource.

Beautiful fall colors and bridge view was outstanding! We were there on a Thursday before Bridge day on Saturday. Board walk was easy accessible from Visitors Center. Steps are 175 if you decide to walk all the way to the bottom. We only went about half way and did fine with an amazing view anyway. You can also drive around to the bottom

Went mid October 2025. This was a nice stop, a full service welcome center with bathrooms. It was very clean. However, it was also very crowded at this location, even after the welcome center closed. The bathrooms are locked inside the welcome center, making it impossible to go after 5pm. It is a short walk to the view of the bridge then some steps down to see a better view. Maybe a 5-10 minute stop total. This place is partly dog friendly. You can bring your dog to see the bridge. But for bridge day dogs are not welcome. Which is wild and quite frankly very sad considering it is quite literally an outdoor event. That made us disappointed and we did not go to bride day because of that. I would go back to see the view if I was in the area. No hiking or anything else exciting around there. But stunning views it was my second time here.

An iconic piece of architecture and featured on the West Virginia version of the state series quarters, this is the third tallest bridge in the US. While you can't really appreciate its height from the 4-lane highway that crosses it due to the high concrete barriers, seeing it from the Canyon Rim Visitor Center or from down below it is pretty impressive. Worth your time to visit, as the area is beautiful, especially during Fall like it was when we were there over the last week.

A nice place to take a break from driving, but if you aren't interested in buying art pieces, it might not be for you. There were plenty of nice things to look at and some local food items (think jams and jellies). There were a few t-shirts and souvenir items, and a place to get some snacks and sit. If you're looking for local hand-crafted pieces, this is the place.

The facility is beautiful with wonderful products made in West Virginia. They also have one of the tourist swings you can take photos at. I took pictures of some stuff I liked. I no where near captured everything.

This has been a tourist attraction in wv off of I-77 for as long as I can remember. I’ve stopped here many times over the years and love to look at all the beautiful artistic creations from the people of my awesome state. Today I stopped here while I’m on a mission to find all the “almost heaven” swings with my husband. The building and grounds are beautiful and unique.

Wife and I have been here on a few occasions. A must see destination for local artistry of West Virginia, Virginia. Also, they allow campers and they have water on site only for RV freshwater holding tanks. A nice quiet place to stop for the day or evening and tour to see all of the artist work.

While visiting Beckley WVA my wife and I stopped by the Tamarack Marketplace to see what it was all about. This was our first time at the Marketplace and I haven't seen anything like this out west where we live so, it was a new experience for us. The marketplace was very impressive inside and out with so many beautiful things and an array of items including food, wine, glassware, pottery, quality woodworks, quilts, jewelry, restaurants and coffee. There is something here for everyone no matter the occasion and taste you'll find it at the Marketplace. It is a great place to visit. The service, the employees and the food was great.

Loved the different varieties of local art and craftsmanship. The atmosphere was nice really easy to walk around and want everything they had to offer. We only got coffee but it was fresh and good too.

Really great place to stop by if you are passing through. All items are created by local artisans. You can create your own glass blown ornaments or atch the process being done. I was really impresed by this chainsaw made completoit of wood...even the chain!
