The Aga Khan Museum is honestly one of the most beautiful spots in Toronto. The outside of the building itself is stunning and super peaceful with so much natural light. I felt like I landed in a foreign place. The staff are all friendly and polite, making u feel welcomed into their space. Altough I would wish they can have a staff member at the entrance welcoming in guests and leading them to checkin. The exhibits are amazing — you really get to see the richness of Islamic art and history, and everything is presented in such a modern, thoughtful way for all kinds of audiences to learn and explore. The gardens and reflecting pool outside are perfect for just sitting and relaxing after walking through the galleries. There is a small cafe inside as well. Overall, such a unique and inspiring place. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something unique and meaningful to do in the city.

During our visit, we even saw a wedding taking place, which added to the charm of the whole experience. A wonderful place to explore art, culture, and history.

Spectacular cultural and social experience! We arrived and were welcomed by a very nice gentleman who briefly described the museum. We took the guided tour of the”As the Sun Appears from Behind,” which was absolutely fascinating. It’s a temporary exhibit from the Al Budra award-winning Islamic art. Adding to the vibe, a duo played Islamic music in the courtyard. The restaurant menu (available on the website) looked very tasty. Since we visited between lunch and dinner, we enjoyed the fresh offerings at the cafe. We highly recommend this oasis. It was about 30 minutes by Uber from our hotel in Toronto, but well worth the effort. Also glad to see that the cafe used cutlery produced from plant starch rather than plastic. Oh, don’t miss the signature museum piece “Your Way Begins on the Other Side.” It’s a contemporary work 18’x6’ made with over one million gold plated pins. (See last of photos.) it speaks to the pitfalls and paradoxes encountered on the journey toward spiritual bliss.

Located in a cozy complex that is modern and chic, Aga Khan provides a glimpse into the Islamic culture and traditional art that is both astonishingly stunning and intellectually inspiring. We spent the afternoon in the museum and learnt a lot of about the culture. The permanent exhibition brings artefacts from around the world into the building, with many approaching a thousand years of age and still preserved in very good condition. We were slightly disappointed from the fact that the collection is quite limited, and I wasn’t sure if there is a particular story telling in how the museum collection is planned. It was by region and I feel like I did not learn a lot about how Islam was developed in each region and the contrast and the similarity. The special exhibition we saw was from the calligraphy and we did learn more about the specifics of it, but some of the information was overlapped with the permanent exhibition. Overall it was a joyful 1-2 hour visit but it wasn’t a whole afternoon activity.

Not much to see to be honest. The price for the entry is fair, so I don’t feel scammed. It may be good if you know how to read Arabic or the language on display there. Coat check is included or complimentary. There was some good pieces to see, for example, the old books. Mild experience for me. Maybe worth a visit if you are close by.

Since my family and I have a membership, we decided to come and visit the museum today. The bus ride was about 20 minutes. We walked instead of taking the shuttle bus because the line was too long. Previously, we have had experiences of food poisoning from the cafe, so we packed our own lunch and were able to get seating. This museum is amazing. There are exhibits for all- from deep water exploration to bat caves to the reproductive system. Came with kids and explored the play area on the second floor. Had a blast. Overall a great experience and would come back again.

There are a lot of activities for small kids. My 5 year old and 4 year old kids loved the experience. We needed more than 3 hours to truly experience the whole place, which unfortunately we didn't have. The exhibit halls have to be accessed from the rear entrance, and there are frequent shuttle busses that run between the main and the rear entrances. The family center was really fun and engaging for us. It's a great learning experience.

Great experience to re-learn the basic knowledge of Science. Wish I took a picture of the planetarium but I was so busy following the comets ☄️ 🤣 plus the Human anatomy is something that I’m always fascinated about. Not busy during the weekdays but planetarium is packed. These were taken during Spring time (April 2023 if I’m not mistaken) Wish I took my time to read the boards and comments and explore / observe / experience what the kids were doing with tools and machine etc etc kinda wanna go back! 😕

Incredible museum that enchants young and old. The explanations for natural and scientific phenomena and the exhibits are made so interactive that you want to see them all!!! It is worth spending a day. If you have children they will appreciate it. You too. Parking costs 15 CAD. It has a cafeteria inside where you can eat or drink something. But you can also have your own food and sit at tables outside the dining room.

Good place to visit with kids! Big parking space, fee is 12$. Tickets are 22 for adult, 13 for kids. We were there for 3 hours and see only 2 levels, so definitely will visit again. My children like the kids area.

I haven't been back here for a while (a decade +) and forgot how fun and educational this place is! It's definitely a great place to spend the day with kids. There are plenty of interesting things for the adults as well. Did you know there's a big plant called Tulip Tree? I didn't. I like it that the entire place is spacious with high ceilings. There are so many interactive & interesting things strategically placed not too far from each other so visitors don't crowd into one place. Can you spot the dragon lizard?

Was very excited to come here, we arrived later in the day due to other plans having been priority. The main entrance- we realized we needed to take a shuttle to the exhibits as the bridge is closed? We didn’t have to wait long for a ride thankfully (each way). The exhibits don’t seem to have an order to follow and sometimes we found ourselves a little turned around. There’s some on different floors as well. Probably should’ve done research on areas to see prior to going but usually museums and things like this have a better flow. we used a city pass to get tickets which was well worth it since this experience wasn’t our favourite. It’s aimed more so at children and families. It has a lot of fun experiments but it seems very dated in some ways and a lot of things were out of service which was sad. I enjoyed the Moderna exhibit- maybe because I’m in health care. I didn’t learn too much- but what I did was fun little tidbits and I really liked seeing the models and human body in action. We didn’t try food court. Parking was 12$ on entry. It’s a lot of walking as well but they have a lot of accessibility options. A little underwhelmed and disappointed, it seems if you plan your day to do the live experiments and events with the staff it would be better. Also staff was super involved and fun.

Yonge Street Animal Hospital was incredibly considerate when I shared my dog’s condition and they helped get him seen right away. From reception, to technicians, to veterinary, the clinic is outgoing and has created a very welcoming environment. My dog Peanut is typically nervous in new environments, especially when he is being examined. Dr. Bastos and the team made Peanut as comfortable as possible. We were amazed that he did not exhibit any anxiety or fear and discomfort was minimal. This is how we knew we brought Peanut to the best possible clinic. Both my fiancée and I are incredibly grateful to the entire team for helping Peanut get back to his normal self. We are so happy to have a reliable and trustworthy veterinary clinic so close to home. I've been bringing my pets to this veterinary clinic for two years, and I cannot recommend them enough. The level of care and affection they show to all my animals is truly heartwarming. Specifically, I have a 13-year-old dog who requires extra attention due to her age, and the team here has always made sure she receives the care she needs to stay comfortable and healthy. It's also a huge plus that they have Brazilian veterinarians on their team, which adds a touch of familiarity and ease for those who prefer to communicate in Portuguese. A huge thank you to Dr. Crozier, Philippe, and the rest of the team for taking such great care of my Lady. Was able to have her examined within less than an hour of noticing her facial swelling and everyone was so gentle with me while I was panicking and fearing the worst due to past trauma of losing my other babies to cancer. I was updated every step of the way after her check in and even sent photos of her to put my anxious mind at ease. The most amazing team that goes above and beyond for not just their patients, but for their clients during stressful times.

I have been going for a couple of years whether it be with family or friends and I always have a great time. This year was the first time I went in the fall — for Halloween haunt and let me tell you the vibes, decoration were way better. (Also fewer line ups) this year I went to the conjuring limited edition maze and I loved how interactive and fun it was. They did a great job. Do recommend

Cons: Overpriced and overrated. Parking is expensive, and food options inside are mostly unhealthy and way too costly for what you get. The overall experience doesn’t match the high ticket and food prices. Definitely not worth it for what’s offered; 1 out of 5. Pros: I visited Canada’s Wonderland this past summer and spent a full day enjoying both the rides and the water park. It was a hot day, so I started with Splash Works; the water area was lively but not overwhelming. There are several pools and slides for every age, and it’s a great place to cool off. The wave pool was a highlight, and there were plenty of shaded spots and chairs to relax between rides. After the water park, I explored the rest of the park and went on a few of the main roller coasters. The sight of the massive tracks and loops from a distance still makes the park feel impressive every time you visit. The atmosphere is energetic but family-friendly; with lots of music, food stands, and people having fun. I ended the day near the main fountain and mountain area, which looks especially beautiful in the sunlight. The water and landscaping give it a resort feel, and it’s a perfect spot to take photos before leaving. Overall, it was a great summer day; well organized, clean, and full of energy. If you plan ahead and arrive early, you can easily make the most of both the water park and the rides.

My husband and I went for the first time during Halloween Haunt on Halloween because we purchased a gold pass from a different amusement park. We got to try a Beaver Tail - Avalanche flavor and it was delicious! The level of detail that went into designing the Halloween Haunt was impressive. The decorations were awesome, there was specially named and unique food options, and there were different themed areas with actors dressed up in scary costumes. One area there were all zombies and another had clowns. The actors were clearly having a good time scaring people and it was sometimes entertaining to just watch them scare other parkgoers. It was also possible to bypass these areas if you didn't want to get scared. There was a freak show, a fire spinning show, and music performances throughout the night. We didn't opt to buy the extra pass to enter the haunted mazes - mainly because I'm not a fan. I rode a few coasters because there was no wait, but it was quite chilly. It was still exhilarating and a lot of fun. We will definitely be back when it is a bit warmer.

This place is fun, but a bit scary with the height of the rides. It is not for the doubtful patrons. Rides are going upside down over your head as you walk around in the park. Every one should try going to wonderland at least once in their lives. You don't have to buy a season pass, just a day pass will do the trick. However, if you are a lover of these Rides buy a seasonal pass. You can also add meal pass to the mix. It will work out very well the kids love to go to this amusement park 😀 there is everything for everyone from babies to adults. Sometimes you will be entertained with fireworks. Check it out! 🔥

Canada's Wonderland is probably one of the most famous Staples in Ontario to go visit, it's lots of fun. Great place to go spend time with the family. I have memories from this place from when I was a kid and now I bring my own kids, Roller coasters are always my favorite and they have some of the best roller coasters I've ever been on. While this place does get very busy and crowded I have yet to found a good day to go where it's not very crowded Prices are very expensive for tickets and if you don't want to wait in line then you have to pay an enormous amount of money in my book for speed passes and then if you want to ride the big roller coasters for the speed pass you have to pay even more money for on VIP speedpass, The water park has lines just as long as the rides. It is very crowded and busy there as well in the summer, Halloween haunt was lots of fun when I was a kid but after covid everything's changed and from what I hear now you have to pay and buy a special pass just to go into all the haunted houses now because the haunted houses were the favorite part of this event in my book. Although riding a roller coaster in the dark is pretty fun as well

Parking is $39.99, food and drinks are overpriced, and water access is limited to old fountains or dirty sinks. You can’t bring in much from outside, yet security checks are inconsistent—sometimes too strict, sometimes too lax, raising safety concerns. Customer service is lacking; staff rarely smiled or welcomed guests. Ride wait times stretch 1–2 hours unless you pay $179.99 per person for Fast Lane Plus, which doesn’t even include all rides despite the marketing. My kids had a great time, but they weren’t the ones paying. For what I spent in one day, I could have taken a family trip down south. The park succeeds at creating a “fun” image, but in reality, it’s a polished price-gouge. If you want true value and enjoyment, a small-town festival will give you more smiles, less stress, and far better bang for your buck.

We are absolutely thrilled with Wonderland! 🌟 This park is a true wonder for the whole family. We visited it with our kids about 15 times this year, and each visit was a unique adventure. We especially loved the extreme roller coasters, which are packed with adrenaline, as well as the calmer, fun carousels perfect for the little ones. Every corner of the park is filled with a magical atmosphere — from the well-kept green pathways to the vibrant decorations and themed areas. Wonderland is a place where you can fully immerse yourself in magic, joy, and fun. What really stood out was the variety of dining options from quick bites to full meals, there’s no shortage of places to refuel between shopping. I also appreciated the spacious layout, which made navigating through the mall easy and enjoyable, even during busy hours. Beyond shopping and food, Vaughan Mills has entertainment and family-friendly attractions, making it more than just a retail destination. It’s truly a one-stop spot for a full day of shopping, eating, and exploring. If you're in the area and looking for a well-rounded shopping experience, Vaughan Mills is definitely worth a visit!

Large indoor outlet mall that is quite unique in design in comparison to other malls in the Toronto area. Some outlet stores will offer better discounts and clearance products in comparison to the same stores in other malls. It can be tough to find parking at busy times. They only have 4 J1772 chargers which is not sufficient for a mall of this size. Tesla owners also use them instead of superchargers - go figure.

Very good place to shope branded products at reduced prices. Well ranges of various products are there. I would say very best place with your family and spent whole day. A big food court is there to provide different types of cuisine with comfortable seating spaces.

This outlet mall is one of the best shopping destinations around. It’s a huge indoor mall with a wide variety of stores, from basic everyday brands to luxury names, offering something for everyone. The collections are updated and the outlet prices are definitely worth it, making shopping here a great value. Since it’s fully indoors, we can visit any time of the year without worrying about the weather, which is very convenient. We make it a point to visit at least once a month and always enjoy the experience. A must-visit mall for outlet shoppers!

Probably one of Not the biggest mall if ever been to. It’s so huge. But you can find everything there. We spend almost 5 hours in there and easily took 20000 steps. Good selection of everything. There could be more toilettes though. I don’t wanna walk 10min inside for a pee. Anyway, nice experience

A beautiful gallery nestled in a forested area, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection in Kleinburg, in the city of Vaughan, Ontario, Canada, focuses on Canadian art, especially the Group of Seven and Indigenous artists. The space is peaceful, well laid out and full of natural light with a great mix of classic and contemporary works. There are walking trails just close to the gallery. A relaxing and inspiring place to spend a couple of hours, it is perfect for art lovers or anyone looking for a quiet escape. Besides the exhibits, the museum often hosts special shows, artist talks and workshops for children and adults. There's also a small cafe and a gift shop with art books, prints, and handmade items. One of the highlights of my visit was the Morrice in Venice exhibition - a glimpse into the work of Canadian artist James Wilson Morrice and his time in Venice. The collection captures the light, colour and mood of Venice in a way that feels both dreamy and grounded. The Morrice in Venice exhibition runs until September 25, 2025.

We visited the McMichael Gallery for the exhibition of Canadian artist James Morris and his Venetian cycle of paintings. The show was fairly compact but beautifully presented, with many works on loan from private collections. There was also plenty of additional material about the creation of the paintings and the artist’s biography, which made the experience even richer. The gallery itself always has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The gift shop is excellent, and I enjoy the café as well. You can also take a walk in the surrounding park - it’s easy to spend a whole day there. I usually buy an annual membership that lets me bring guests, and it’s a wonderful place to meet up with friends.

Can easily spend 2-3 hrs here, hike outdoors or admire the art indoors. Also recommend their Cafe the Cabin, the food is amazing. I had the squash soup and it was very creamy.

It's a bit of a trek from downtown Toronto, but the selections are incredible. There are a couple exhibits, including over 90,000 drawings from Nunavut West Baffin Co Op. There are many group of seven painters in this collection. The Morrice collection is fascinating, and it has many study paintings. This helps to understand the creative process.

A lovely place to spend the day. The gallery building, the grounds, and the trails are beautifully maintained. The cafe serves tasty light bites. The artwork is, well, spectacular. The history of the gallery as a private home and the collecting passion of the owners are very interesting. Well worth the drive from Toronto.

There were over 7000 Canadian exhibits displayed at Mc Micheal art Gallery and people are happy to learn about Canadian artists. If you have the time I highly recommended it, it's warranted a try. There are natural trails on the ground and Kleinburg is a quaint town to explore as well.

A hidden gem in Mississauga! It’s a beautiful conservation area with a long boardwalk over the marshes. You can follow the boardwalk all the way to a shingle beach. The beach is fairly long with lovely views of the Toronto skyline. It’s a peaceful place; even on the weekend it was not busy. One of the entrances to the conservation area is from a quiet, secluded residential area. It’s a great place to connect with nature and get some exercise.

Beautiful park! Took the stroller and did the most of the Waterfront Trail, the Knoll Trail and Silver Maple Trail. I would say the Knoll Trail was best for the stroller as it was almost all boardwalk. The Silver Maple Trail had parts where it was less flat / maintained, with tree roots and such, making it a bit harder without a proper jogging stroller. There was a couple of small steps where the Waterfront Trail connected to the Silver Maple Trail, as well. No entrance fees or tickets needed. Overall the park is gorgeous, the trails are well maintained and it is a great spot for hiking!

No tickets required to enter the place. We can park vehicles at Jack Darling memorial Park as there are no parking at Rattray Marsh Conservation area. We need to be in foot only on the broadwalk, no bicycle is allowed. Get prepared for insects and ticks. It has a good views and many animals to view.

A lot of great views. You will have to park through John Darling Park. The view of the skyline and the water in John Darling is worth a trip. And an entrance to the marsh can be found around the back. Alot of nice spots to stop and take pictures on the trail. ~40-60 minutes to enjoy everything. No tickets needed.

Had a fantastic day at Jack Darling Memorial Park! The free parking is a huge plus, with plenty of spaces even on a busy weekend. The Lake Ontario shore is beautiful, and the fishing scene is lively – tons of people casting lines and having fun. Great for picnics, walks, or just chilling by the water. Highly recommend this vibrant park!

This park is the perfect spot to launch your paddleboard or kayak and enjoy a peaceful sunrise or sunset on the water. It offers convenient amenities like public washrooms, a foot rinse station, and plenty of picnic tables and open space, ideal for a family BBQ or picnic. Just be sure to arrive early; while there is ample parking, it fills up quickly!

The park is pretty, beaches are nice, but it's very crowded on the weekends and we couldn't find space in the parking lots. We saw that many many cars had parked on the right side of the road where there are signs that say parking is forbidden on certain hours and days. However, we saw some of the cars there with fines on their windshields. Does someone know what these signs mean then? Those cars were outside of the days and restricted hours so ...utterly confused

Scenic, family-friendly park by the lake Jack Darling Memorial Park is a great spot for all ages—lots of green space, a splash pad, playground, picnic areas, and one of the best off-leash dog parks around. The lakefront views are beautiful, and One of the best parts is that the park connects directly to the Rattray Marsh Conservation Area via the waterfront trail, making it perfect for a longer, scenic walk through nature. It gets busy on weekends, so parking can be tight, but it’s a perfect place to relax or spend time outdoors with family, friends, or your dog.

We attended the Whiskey weekend and took the tour. A great place and very informative. Bonus was the live music, BBQ, corn hole game, bottle signing, gift shop and the free samples. Definitely going to make this a yearly event. Well worth it.

Forty Creek has been one of my favourite Whisky’s for a while, since the Tariff’s took away Kahlua is no longer obtainable, I decided to try Bolivar’s Coffee Liquor and it is easily a superior product. I always order directly through the distillery and they always get the package to me the next day. This last order was suppose to come with a free 50ml sample of Pickled Vodka that never came in my package, but the shipping is so quick and everything else was right that I don’t really care. The packaging they send the items in is also really nice and ensures the bottles do not ever touch. I hope to get the 3L barrel they sell soon and maybe in the future, get a chance to tour the distillery in Grimsby Ontario.

Forty Creek is an awesome spot to stop if you are looking to purchase, or sample some pretty nice Canadian whiskeys. Brewed right on premises, they have a nice selection from their popular Double Barrel Reserve to their Confederation Oak, and many unique varieties in between. There is something for any whiskey connoisseur. There were specialty items such as their maple flavored whiskey that reminded me of liquid pancakes. Their cream was smooth and delicious as well. Samples were at no charge, but we would have been remiss not not leave a nice tip as the staff was warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting space has gone though some recent renovations and is clean and relaxing. There is a special tasting room available if you book in advance (best for larger groups). There was outdoor seating and a gift shop as well. Restrooms are also on premises. The location is conveniently located just off the QEW in Grimsby, We were in town for a hockey tournament right around the corner and this made for a great stop with the team, in between games. Quite a few bottles left with us to enjoy at home as their products and selections were worth of their purchase price! RECOMMENDATION:. We did not have time, but heard the tour of the facility is well worth it and very informative. We will definitely do this the next time we are in town.

We had a terrible experience at Forty Creek Distillery after driving roughly 20 minutes out of our way to visit them. The moment we walked in, we were treated like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Despite arriving 30 minutes before closing time, they immediately shut down the tasting option and seemed annoyed when we asked to try just one whiskey. The three girls behind the counter had a negative energy and made us feel unwelcome. We were the only customers in the store after a few others left shortly after our arrival, yet they still couldn't be bothered to provide decent service. We ultimately decided not to purchase a bottle from them and will be looking for another local distillery to support. Overall, I was incredibly disappointed with the service at Forty Creek Distillery and would not recommend them to anyone.

Had a wonderful experience tasting the different whiskies produced by fourty creek. It is a facility to buy their liqours and other soveniours branded on Forty Creek.

I popped in yesterday morning to ask if they sell a gift pack I saw online, in the store. The lovely girl said "Unfortunately no, but I can build you something similar if you'd like" For me, that was above and beyond customer service! A wonderful little lake, excellent views and nice hiking trails. Easy access with picnic areas and parking. Did not have difficulties ourselves but for some the hike could be longer to go around. Remember where you entered , eg L1 to L18 markers.

It is very expansive and expensive to enter. Approx $28 after tax for a car of two persons. Trails were hard to navigate and very much nothing. The lakeside is lame. This place wpuld be great for a peaceful picnic. Lots of tables and space. The cost would clearly keep the population out. Its clean lots of parking.

Heart Lake is such a beautiful and wide open park. Everything is really well kept and maintained, and even the washrooms are clean, which is a huge plus. There are tons of picnic benches scattered around, so it’s easy to find a spot to sit and relax. The park has a bit of everything: a splash pad, pool, hiking trails, Treetop Trekking, and lots more to do. The entrance fee is on the steep side at around $28 per car, but it feels worth it when you see how much care goes into keeping the place nice. You can come here for a picnic, to hang out, or just to spend a day outdoors. Parking is never an issue either since there’s a ton of it, and it’s also a popular spot for people to host events.

It’s a wonderful scenic area with easy access for trails n family gatherings. Truly enjoyed a race event there. Treetop trekking is another great activity there.

We had an amazing time here! It’s a great place for a family picnic. The pool was perfect for swimming, and the lake offers a beautiful view. There were also other features we didn’t get to try, like the tree-top trekking, which would be a great option for our next holiday trip..

I did the kayaking by the lake with some friends. Customer service was great--I called a few times in advance for booking changes and was also greeted kindly and provided with support. We had a great time. Would come again.

In Parking lot, there are so many big nails. Why management is not looking into this. I saw around 8 nails in the parking lot. Be careful while parking. First you pay $28 for parking and then end up with a flat tire.

Such a beautiful place. Its far from us, but we went for the fall pumpkin trail and it was a wonderful night. Everyone we spoke to there was also so kind. Its like stepping out of thrle harshness of the world and letting this beautiful place refill your heart with joy.

Went here during day time for the pumpkin display. Beautiful decorated. Although most activities are closed for the day time and there isn't much food options, the display was nice to walk through and take photos.

A gorgeous and serene garden. The grounds are well maintained. The rock garden is beautiful. There are trails to walk. You can learn about all of the plays. It’s a great place to read and relax. Overall, the place is lovely. I recommend visiting.

One of my favorite places in Ontario! I’ve visited during summer, spring, and fall, and each season is stunning in its own way. The gardens are beautifully maintained, with peaceful walking trails and scenic spots for photos. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and there’s even a nice café for a quick break. A perfect spot for nature lovers, families, or anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors.

Very beautiful w a waterfall, reflection pool, gazebo however there seemed to be a lot of weeds and various sections were closed for a $17.00 ticket. That was a bit surprising. But overall we got some beautiful photos.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this complex is… combination of Mediterranean Greenhouse, with a nice collection of indoor decorative unique plants and European style outdoor gardens perfect for romantic occasions like weddings, it’s just walking distance from jungle where you can find wild life such as snakes, chipmunks, frogs and even bluejay!!!

A cool step into the past. Our tour guide Roxanne was very knowledgeable and gave a great tour. So many interesting artifacts to see and a fascinating history. Tickets also included entry to another military museum at any time, looking forward to checking that one out in the future.

We planned on always visiting but something came up so we decided on that day to just go and we did. We loved it beyond words, from start to finish. The atmosphere was incredible, clean, friendly with the staff always greeting us answering anything we needed. The tour guide was the sweetest person very polite and informative as were the other members inside. I would highly recommend visiting and taking a tour. If you’re from Hamilton I would recommend getting your library card to cover the cost. No issues with parking as there was ample space. I would suggest taking the tour twice to fully embrace the experience.

Another National Historical Site in the City of Hamilton. Very well-kept and well-maintained grounds. Free entry for those with a Hamilton Library Card. Gift shop available. Decent size parking lot available. Hall rentals available. No free WiFi. Benches around for you to sit and enjoy. There is a playground as well as a coffee shop.

We stopped by Dundurn Castle while driving around and only explored from the outside this time. The grounds were beautiful—we even caught a glimpse of a wedding, which made the visit extra special. The highlight for us was the Kitchen Garden, a large and well-kept space where staff dress in period costumes. It’s a lovely spot for a stroll, and we look forward to coming back to do the full tour another day.

This place has a completely different vibe. It was my first shoot here, and I’m definitely coming back for more. A true photographer’s heaven — stunning architecture, diverse backdrops, serene water, and lush greenery all in one spot.

What a beautiful historic castle. Beautifully decorated and set up. Taking the tour was well worth it, our guide was a wealth of information. We very much enjoyed our visit.

Even just seeing Dundurn Castle from the outside was worth the trip! The architecture is stunning, and the grounds offer amazing views that make you stop and stare 😍. It’s easy to imagine how grand life must have been living here back in the day—like stepping into a history book, only with fresh air and geese for company 🦆. Next time I’ll definitely go inside, but for now the exterior alone gets 5 stars!

Why visit: 1) This lake is beautiful but more than that it is a geological gem as it is a MEROMICTIC LAKE . Where the water layers in the lake do not mix . Thus helps scientific research to learn about the generations past studying the lake sediments. 2) Great trails around the lake and towards Rattle snake conservation area. 3) You can picnic the whole day here with family. 4) Being a green belt,even during the highest temperatures in the summer,you will get cool breeze and dense forest cover from the intense sunshine.Perfect respite from intense heat. 5) A good place to bring kids and toddlers 6) Huge wooden statues of various species are fun and entertaining for kids and adults both

A real gem. The 1km trail circumventing the lake is iconic. The 2.5 km escarpment trail is also interesting. The part from CL01 to the lookout is slightly difficult with some rock sections but the part from the lookout to CL02 is easy. The visitor centre closes at about 4 pm and so does the access to the washrooms, which is not ideal.( There is another one near the picnic area which is rustic hole-in-the ground). A good place for a summer picnic with friends and family. Would recommend buying tickets online as the gate is not manned till 11.00 am, making it a little complicated. Also cheaper.

Lovely place to roam several trails and boardwalks, around the lake or through the woods, one trail connects to Rattlesnake Point. Visitors centre has souvenirs and basic snacks with a coffee machine, also plumbed toilets. The reconstructed village is excellently layed out.

I visited the area in the weekend. I paid online the fees , $10.50 per adult. I purchased the tickets when I arrived. We went in three trails. The one I liked was escarpment trail. The nature is beautiful. However the washrooms don't have soap and water. I recommend having your hand sanitizer and your toilet paper 🧻.

Well, this is truly an amazing place. I recommend a visit here and a visit to the wildlife care centre while in the area. The walk down to Lake Crawford is similar to a hike down to the Don River in Toronto from south Leaside. It isn’t something I would recommend for elderly or wheelchair individuals. The re-created long houses are really spectacular and harken you back to a time when these were community houses for entire families of indigenous peoples. Pick a sunny day, get in the car and head west. Enjoy

Beautiful trail, dont bring bananas because the monkeys in the trees will try to take them from you. The views are amazing. I got to the top, and could see the CN Tower.

A good and quiet place to visit. It has some multiple trails but most people consider board walk trail We bought tickets to experience Board walk around the lake and were not disappointed

Found this on a last minute whim and absolutely loved the area. The 8km walking trail was beautiful. Restrooms were clean, my dog loved his time here. We went on a Friday evening, it was quiet and peaceful. A hidden gem, I can’t wait to be back!

The scenic view is captivating and amazing to think we have not explore the whole area. it is spacious good for any outdoor activities for family, friends and team building event for companies. I quite surprise not to experience chasing after mosquitos here compare to the other places we visited. May I suggest to add a washroom to the other area too. we definitely visit again to explore the whole place.

We drove from Kitchener and it was worth it! We went on a Friday morning and reserved our admission online the day before. The price is cheap for two people ($13). Do the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, it's a must! You can park at lot 3 and the loop takes about 1.5-2hr to complete. There are so many scenic spots to stop and enjoy. The trail is really well maintained with various terrain and fairly flat throughout. The bridges over the water were our favourite. The park overall was well maintained and so were the washrooms! We then did the Kayak rental. It was quick and easy and the prices were reasonable! Although it was a further drive for us it was 100% worth it. It's a large lake, great trails and good rental options.

Island Lake is one of the parks part of the Credit Valley Conservation, where this park acts as a head water for the Credit River. The park has a number of trails, most of which are not very difficult along with various picnic areas and fishing spots. The most popular trail is the Vicki Barron Lakeside Trail, which covers the perimeter of Island Lake. It connects smaller islands within the lake by a series of wooden bridges and boardwalk style trails. The trail surface is about 1/3 boardwalk, which is easy to walk on and is wide enough for hikers and cyclists. Many of the viewpoints along the trail are also fishing spots as well. Generally, the trails are not very difficult and are very clearly marked with points of interest. The park also has plenty of picnic areas, with a larger area near the P2 and P3 parking lots. There are also spots to launch for any water activities such as canoes and kayaks. Overall, this park is good if looking for a picnic spot or for a simpler walking trail. On popular times, the wait time can be 30 mins or more, so it’s recommended to pay online in advance to help with getting in quicker.

An incredibly beautiful and serene conservation park with lots of scenic views. It has a few short trails and one long Vicki Barron Lakeside trail that goes around the lake. The trails are very well kept and marked for easily navigating around. The main trail is great for walking or cycling but if you want to complete the trail, cycling would be a better choice. There are a few benches along the trail where you can take a break in a relaxing environment and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake. Canoes and kayak rentals are also available in the park, and you can bring your own as well. The lake is also great to go for fishing, you can also have a picnic in the park and bring your own charcoal BBQ grill. There is an entrance fee of $6.5 per person to enter the park. Overall, a great place for a weekend outing.

Great little Gaming hideout on west side of Milton North of Hwy401 on Guelph Line . Good floorspace with on premise live horse racing. Feeling like something different? Go down grab dinner/drinks, watch the races then if you continue to feel lucky grab a beer and play the tables and Slots.... there is plenty!

A racetrack that is very nice! Big grand stands that are glassed in, lots of lights, food hut outside as well as a bar with a good selection of drinks, a small patio area around the food hut to eat at, small smoking section, and lots of picnic tables, chairs and some patio couches. There is a trackside restaurant, usually you need reservations but they gave us a table in the back we couldnt see the track but they gave us drinks (even doubles, casino wont do that) and took our orders, the food took aome time but when it came it was yummy broccoli soup and the beef brisket with onion rings. It was pricey as expected and the bar tender was our waitress since we were seated so close to the bar, overall it was an ok restaurant it did the job and filled us up..

Servers are so pleasant, the food is tasty. I am gluten free and appreciate the new menu options. If you have questions there is always someone to help. If you book ahead you will get a window seat which is fantastic rain or shine. It's nice to be able to go outside to watch each race.

Wanted to have a nice dinner out with races but did not get great service and less then quality food.. Asked for manager but server said wasn’t available at the time… So we waited and still not found so server presented the bill for the night with less then Happy for all that transpired that evening

What a fun way to enjoy our Victoria Long weekend! Thank you Mohawk park team for the Free Community contribution. All our family members had a blast on this evening, Starting from face painting, food, watching the race and end with upbeat moments of fireworks. Highlights of Woodbine Mohawk Park were ample car parking, well maintained racecourse, helpful welcoming staffs, great betting site, food options avail indoor and clean restrooms. If you are a horse🐴 lover, this a right place for you!

We were disappointed! Started in the casino, seems to be games with heavy house odds...no craps, no poker. No luck with slots...ever, have gone a few times this year, sadly we won't be going again. We then had dinner at trackside bar to watch the horse racing. Horse racing is always fun to watch and betting is fun, however...dinner was really, really bad! Good service, really bad food. Probably won't go again until things improve alot! So disappointing

Great place to bring kids to, lot of different war time planes to see. There are 2-3 different types of aircrafts where the kids can go in and even sit in the cockpit. Lot of historical information related to specific planes and the role they played during various wars. They have 2 propeller planes which offer the opportunity to fly in them as well. They also have free flight simulators which are a lot of fun. There is a small merchandise shop which is nice. There is ample parking. overall lot of fun for kids and adults alike. Overall must visit place for anyone interested in WWII, Canadian history and aviation history.

Great place to learn about Canada's contribution to the world wars. Minus one star for the aged and disabled who wish to visit the open flight deck but have to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Thanks to all the young and experienced cadets who are really impressive with their product knowledge. The restorers and engineers are doing an amazing job fixing up this rare collection. The Runway cafe is really good value with all the usual fast-food you'd expect. And acknowledgment to the pilots who give their passengers an unforgettable experience

Excellent place to visit and see the planes and learn how they were helpful to RCAF in defending sovereignty of our country. Interactive videos of decorated airforce personnel, who are not amongst us but the museum has kept them to see and learn about their lives. Place worth visiting.

We had our wedding here in October 2025. Stevie-Jane couldn’t have been more accommodating and easy to deal with. She communicated everything to us clearly and set expectations appropriately!! The day went as smooth as can be! All of our guests said the venue was so unique and fun! If you’re looking for a unique, and classy wedding venue, this is the place to be!!

What an awesome place. My 13 yr old wants to be a pilot and just being there with him was such a great experience. There was a large group of air cadets when we were there so we could not get a guide, but the self guided tour of the museum was fine. Would absolutely recommend to any plane enthusiasts and also anyone wanting to see some really neat Canadian history. Very well maintained, I really loved seeing these planes being restored, just awesome important work! Would definitely go back

The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum is more than just a museum – it’s an experience. What I loved most was the hands-on aspect. Unlike many museums where everything is kept behind ropes, here you actually get to climb into cockpits and explore the interiors of some of the aircraft. It felt amazing to sit where real pilots once sat and imagine what it must have been like to fly. The collection itself is incredible. Each aircraft comes with detailed stories and history. I was especially impressed that many of the planes are still in flying condition — it’s not just a static display, but a living museum. The museum is also very family-friendly. Plenty of parking and open space to wander around the zoo. Playground for the kids was nice. The enclosures were pretty big for the animals and appeared clean. We also appreciated how much shaded areas there were to get out of the sun.

Excellent collections and easy going for kids. Kids prefer to walk and see for themselves all the animals at their enclosures. Well kept Zoo. Need 3 hrs max to cover all enclosures leisurely.

There’s a nice variety of animals to see, and it’s the perfect size for kids to walk around without getting too tired. The staff were all very friendly and happy to answer questions. You can tell they really care about the animals. A really fun and family-friendly place to spend a few hours!

This is a great little zoo we had a great time seeing all of the animals the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I visited with my two daughters and my granddaughter. My Granddaughter brought her barbie with her. At some point she dropped the Barbie and my daughter's and I didn't notice. However one for the lady staff members remembered it in my granddaughters hand and knew whom it belonged to so she picked it up jumped on a golf cart and began searching for us.....she found us and gave it to my granddaughter totally saving the day Thank you so much Twin Valley Zoo and staff for a very beautiful outing with my family.

Visited this zoo for the first time with my toddler, It’s a perfect spot for a family outing or anyone who loves animals. Great place to spend a 3-5 hours stay. Such a great little zoo. My toddler enjoyed a lot.

Such an incredible time at the Twin Valley Zoo! We brought our entire group of special needs athletes to the zoo a few years ago and it was such a wonderful experience. We went again this past weekend and holy it is even better! Every year that we go this place just seems to be getting better and better. It was extremely inclusive, welcoming and the most wonderful zoo experience that I’ve ever had. Fierce N Fit Boxing cannot wait for our next trip to the Twin Valley Zoo! These animals were very interactive, happy and such a joy to be around.

just visited the Basilica of Our Lady Immaculate in Guelph, and it was seriously impressive! I'm always on the lookout for stunning landmarks, and this one definitely delivered. Inside, it's so peaceful and beautiful. The light streaming through the colorful stained glass windows was magical. You can really feel the history and the importance of the place. It's the kind of place that makes you stop and just take it all in. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Guelph. It's easy to find, and wandering around inside is a great way to spend some time. It gives you a real sense of the city's character and history.

A beautiful church (Basilica ) constructed in 1800s . Awasom construction I have checked the mass timings on the church site , so that was able to participate in the mass of 11 am on Sunday Inside the church it's very calm and buetiful.. well lighted (naturally) with colour full stained glass Highly recommended to visit at least once if you pass through Guelph

This is one of my favorite historic site in Ontario. inside and out are so stunning, well detailed. Though I not visiting church like other Christian I would say I will be regular here if I am living in this area. So beautiful, if you see the interior of the church you definitely be in 'awe' moment.

I visited the BASILICA OF OUR LADY IMMACULATE today, which is in Guelph. It was a half an hour drive from my place in Waterloo and I have been wanting to visit the Bascillica for the longest time ever. Although the website said the Basilica closes at 3 pm, we were able to visit and pray in peace when we reached there at 3:30 pm. The place has a very calm and soothing vibe, it's very peaceful and beautiful. I spent around 20 minutes there talking to GOD. And then witnessed the amazing architecture. One should visit the Bascillica if they need a break from the busy world and want some peace and time to talk to GOD. Don't forget your 3 wishes if you're visiting the Bascillica for the first time. 🤭

Beautiful basilica! I love coming here during the weekdays, with no one around to calm my mind in thoughtful prayer. I’m in absolute awe with the artistic intricacy and architecture, both interior and exterior. The stain glass windows come to life as the sun shines through it. Beautiful all year round.

Was here for a wedding and I have to say the place is immaculate, the intricate details, the paintings, the stain glass. I mean it was was just amazing to behold. The ceremony was flawless, and the sound when the organ played...wow, highly reccomend a visit

Saw Jesus Christ Superstar at the Hamilton last week. Situated in an revitalized section of Cambridge next to the Grand River. Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance. Theatre could hold just over 500 patrons, and was sold out for this show. Great performances and ice cream at the intermission. Will ansolutely visit again.

We went to see Ali Hassan’s comedy show at the Hamilton Family Theatre and had an amazing time! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly. The seating was comfortable with a great view from every spot. Perfect venue for a night of laughs and entertainment!

One of my favourite theatres. Due to the size there is not a bad seat anywhere. Even to the fat sides you don’t get a blocked view. There is lots of parking and the staff are very kind. Been to many shows here, they always hire great performers, directors and crew that make every show feel like one of kind.

A group from my church went to see the play Jesus Christ Superstar. The theatre is beautiful and I think every seat has an excellent view. The acoustics were great. Judas was amazing. I could listen to his voice all night.

We had the pleasure of visiting Bellstead in Brantford, and it was truly one of the most enriching and memorable experiences we’ve had in Canada. Standing in the very place where Alexander Graham Bell lived and where the world’s first long-distance phone call was made felt nothing short of magical. The house is beautifully preserved, and the storytelling throughout the tour brought history to life in the most engaging way. A special note of appreciation goes to our guide — a kind and knowledgeable lady (I believe her name is Katie / she’s also featured in our pictures posted here) — who patiently answered every question and took the time to ensure everyone in the group felt involved and informed. Her passion for history truly made the tour unforgettable. For anyone interested in innovation, history, or simply a quiet, meaningful outing, Bellstead is a must-visit. Thank you for preserving this treasure and for making our visit so special.

Visited the site during 2025 Victoria Day long weekend. We were blessed as it was a beautiful day with no rain but a slight overcast, so it wasn't too hot either! Countryside is always beautiful and a treat for the eyes. It is a quaint neighborhood, and I'm always curious how people in these small towns spend their time. Whereas we living in the main city/downtown literally have everything at a short walking distance! Spring and summer are the six months where most Canadians make the most of outdoor activities.

I thought this would be a quick 10–15 minute stop at a small historic place, but I was pleasantly surprised! The visit included a fascinating 1.5 hours guided experience covering Bell’s life, the invention of the telephone, and the evolution of early communication technology. Every minute was engaging, and the stories truly brought history to life. At just $12.50 for admission, it offered excellent value — highly recommended!

We had such a great time. We did the 5 senses program with my homeschooling group. Friendly and engaged staff. We had to guess which rooms were which based on the hints of what was in the room. The story reading part was fun but too long. Definitely needed to be cut down or some how more interactive. Would love to actually have the kids try an old phone system. The Braille section was far too boring explaining the eye and how it sees differently. Kids were at the end of the tour and getting quite antsy. It's certainly interesting but again needs to be far more interactive/ hands on like a model of the eye or glasses that they can wear that shows different ways people can see. The Art station wasn't what I expected. That was the most disappointing. Painting some sort of landscape would be much more interesting just like Eliza would have. That requires much more work but would flow well with everything offered. Overall it was really good and fun to learn and discover about the Bell homestead. I highly recommend making the trip.

Drove by late night when closed. I thought, let's stop. I'm in town and may as well. It was lovely and an opportunity to dream about the past and the Canadian who invented such a revolutionary tool, serving as a launching pad to the device so many of us carry. He would be so blown away! A beautiful homestead lovingly preserved. Antique lovers will appreciate its ambience. A link to the past, history is a journey back in time. Magic!

It's been in my backyard my whole life but I finally got there with my friends. I was so happy I went. It was worth the drive from out of town to experience and learn about the technology that created the number one item in the world - the telephone. Our tour guide Addison, dressed in period costume was FANTASTIC. He didn't just read a script about Alexander Graham Bell and his family and legacy, he TOLD their STORY. He knew his stuff, and he was able to answer all the questions that were asked. It was engaging, interesting, fact-filled and I enjoyed it throughly. Would recommend booking a time for your tour if you on a schedule. We went in the morning without a booking and had to go and have breakfast, and then go back in the afternoon, but that suited my friends and I just fine. Kids area, lovely grounds. Kudos to all the staff we encountered who were pleasant to deal with.

This was an awesome experience, we loved it all. I booked us in for the one hour guided tour and Katie was an excellent guide, super informative and answered all our questions. The history was intriguing and the family stories were so inviting to learn more. We also enjoyed tea and cake in the Exchange Cafe, which was so yummy. First off, the reservations — you have to book a time slot online and pay for tickets ahead of your visit. They clearly state they may turn away walk-ins if it’s busy. Understandable, since the butterfly area is small, and they don’t want to overcrowd it. On the plus side, parking is free and there’s plenty of it. Inside, there’s a small cafeteria and even a little playground for kids. The entrance leads to a small welcome area, and then you pass through double doors into the butterfly conservatory. The space is kept warm and humid for the butterflies — which feels nice on a cold winter day, but on a sunny day I was sweating buckets. There are lots of butterflies, and if you’re lucky one might even land on you. Now the downsides: the arena is very small. You can easily see the whole thing in under 15 minutes. For the size, the ticket prices feel steep. They don’t allow outside food, which is tough considering many visitors are families with kids, and there’s no designated area to sit and eat your own snacks anyway. If you’re a larger family with kids over 2, expect to spend quite a bit between tickets and the cafeteria. Overall, it’s worth visiting once for the experience, but don’t stress if you skip it — you’re not missing a full-day adventure.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to the Butterfly Conservatory. It was quite easy to tour around the facility. The building is very accessible for people who might require wheelchairs too. The variety of butterflies and birds is quite astounding. I really enjoyed seeing the Nicobar pigeons. I’d recommend the butterfly conservatory for people who might be on a date, also if you’re single it’s a lovely place to visit too.

I recently went to a wedding at the Butterfly Conservation in Cambridge, and it was such a unique and beautiful venue. Being surrounded by butterflies and lush greenery made the whole day feel magical and intimate. It’s such a peaceful setting — perfect for a wedding which is what I was there for. The staff were kind and helpful, and everything felt really well taken care of. It was such a special experience, and I can’t think of a more memorable place to celebrate a wedding.

Such a beautiful and relaxing place to visit! The Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory feels like stepping into a tropical paradise right in the middle of the city. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by warm air, lush greenery, and butterflies flying all around you – some might even land on you if you’re lucky! 🦋 It’s not just butterflies either – there are little birds, fish ponds, and some really unique insects to see in the side displays. The whole place is very clean and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and happy to answer questions. It’s a great spot for kids (they get so excited when a butterfly sits on them!) but also really peaceful for adults who just want to enjoy nature and take photos. You don’t need a ton of time to go through, but it’s such a calming and refreshing experience that you’ll want to stay longer. Definitely recommend this place for families, couples, or anyone looking for something different and relaxing to do in the Cambridge/Kitchener-Waterloo area.

I had a pleasant overall experience, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit enjoyable. The pricing seemed fair, but it did feel a little less worthwhile because of the limited space and the relatively small variety of species available to see. The place itself is quite compact, so it’s best to visit during quieter times. If it gets crowded, the area can feel congested and a bit overwhelming. There are lots of butterflies, although most of them are of the same species, which reduces some of the excitement. Other than butterflies, there are only about ten different types of creatures to observe. There is also a cafeteria on-site, but the menu options are limited, so don’t expect too much variety in food choices.

This will be such a great place for family with kids, or couples. Lovely garden with tons of butterflies surrounding, and if you take a little peak in the bushes, you might spot some little birds under. Me and my friends spent at least 2 hours there, just in an awe.

This is a great place to learn about the life cycle of butterflies and admire them closely. My visit last weekend was my third time around. There is no extra cost for parking and generally, I get the feeling that I was able to see more butterflies than the other version in Niagara Falls. The staff is very friendly and enjoy interacting with those visiting this location.

We had a great time watching liars at a funeral play!!! The building itself is so cute and clean on the outside and rustic and abin like on the inside. Theres a bar with snacks and beverages a bit pricey but expected. The theatre area was smaller than i expected very cozy and stage was probably easy to see everywhere. Will hopefully go back aomeday!!

The Sounds of Soul Created by Lee Siegel is an amazing stage show packed with hits of a truly amazing time in music history. An immersive show you will enjoy. I highly recommend!

Nice, cozy little theatre. We've seen several Drayton productions there and they're always amazingly well done. My only caveat is not to buy front row tickets unless you're really tall as the stage is quite high up.

I’ve seen many, many performances here over the years and it is still my favourite venue to watch a show in. The theatre is the perfect size to feel like you’re a part of something really special and connected to the actors on stage. The stories chosen to be told are always something that gets conversations going and promotes sharing.

This is a very good theater. Well laid out, plenty of parking available. Drinks purchased on-site are allowed in the seating area. We normally select Loges seating. There are a variety of Drayton Entertainment productions. All are excellent. Looking forward to the 2026 Season.

Such a cute theatre. Perfect size that anywhere you sit you can see the stage well. Been here to watch a few shows now and I definitely recommend it.

The show "Grease" was very well done. Not a mediocre voice in the entire cast! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because my seat was at the far edge of the stage so I ended up sitting a bit sideways ...which got uncomfortabe and the arm of the seat was sticking into my back. There should be more angle on outside seats

Unique venue, anyone with mobility issues will want orchestra level or go early to wait for the elevator which is very, very slow. One set of small bathrooms for the whole venue, long waits. Cash only for 50/50 draw. Debit accepted at concessions. Great staff. Climate was very comfortable, as it was a very hot day.

Great small local theatre. Only 13 mins away from our small rural town, Arthur. Old historic building. Great theatre. Old, classic set up. Usually entertaining shows. For adults and occasionally for kids. Price? Affordable. Free parking. No major crowds, no traffic. Drayton chop House a great place for a local beef burger or appetizer, a beer or glass of wine before the show. Better than go out down town Toronto.

Wonderful small venue. Staff could not have been more helpful. Had a great wheelchair bathroom, big enough for an assistant as well. Free parking and site and a other a block away.

What an incredible experience! Went to Drayton Theatre for first time and absolutely loved it. The staff, environment and experience was outstanding. Saw the play Grease and we were all up dancing at the end. I cant wait for my next experience at the Drayton Theatre.

The shows at Drayton are always entertaining and well done and The box office staff and volunteers are as proffesional and proficient at their parts in the show as the actors, directors and stage hands. A gem of a theatre group right in our back yard.

Grease was an entertaining musical - great performances by the DJ, Sandy and the actor who performed in the red sequined jacket. Comfortable seats. Interesting building.

Lovely park, very large. Lots of baseball fields, skate park, memorial garden, decent river running through and waterfowl, splash pad and playground. They hold lots of special events, and July 1st is a great time! However, there is almost no parking for the size. Most of us park on the grass beside the roads, and create parking spots under trees. And parking on the streets outside the park is difficult. It would be great to have better parking.

I have visited first time loved it the most, must visit Park nice flowers, trees & rock fountain i like the most. Lake and water fall also best location for all in summer 😘

This is a beautiful park. The park encompasses so much you could spend a day relaxing there. You must watch where you step closer to the river as there are many Canadian Geese and Seagulls there, lol. Definitely don't let it stop you from visiting. I am not from the area but would go just to have a nice day!

Quiet and spacious park to visit. This spot is perfect if you want to have a more low-key area with amazing views. There was an interesting amount of things to see such as the ducks and geese, the small lake and the waterfall rock. Parking isn’t an issue as there’s a good amount of free parking spots.

It was a nice park . This park has lots of activities for your kids. You can have a family time here. This is a huge park You can enjoy quality time here. You will see lots of Canadian goose and few swans in the lake beside this park. It has free parking and washrooms too! Overall a nice experience!

Nice park. Always full of kids easy for children to play with one another. Just watch out for that rolly slide as it has left marks on kids legs and looks like it could possibly pinch fingers. A lot of different activities for all ages even for the younger ones. Has a shaded picnic area with tables. Baseball diamond. Restroom area. Has a pond area as well and floral area with a mini rock water fall.

Amazing venue designed for stage plays! The staff, architecture, washrooms and maintenance were all excellent. The food and drinks at the cafeteria could have had more variety though.

We went to see Ransacking Troy, and I was blown away. And not just by the play, but by the theater as well. A beautiful building inside and out, with a store, dining and bar areas and not a single bad seat in the whole house. I will definitely be coming back!

Lovely modern theatre with interesting architecture and kind staff! It was a joy to watch The Winter’s Tale here with friends.

Incredible theatre built in 2020. Modern amenities, brilliant architecture, exquisite staging, lighting, and stagecraft. We saw two plays here (The Winter's Tale and Forgiveness) and both were extremely well done and enhanced by their presentation at Tom Patterson Theatre.

A very nice, modern theatre. The stage forms a narrow peninsula surrounded by the audience. This makes for a very different experience.

An amazing experience in a beautiful, light filled and airy theatre. The common spaces never felt crowded. You can see the river from wherever you are in the lobby. There were an ample number of washrooms and no queues. The theatre space is lovely and seats were velvety and comfortable. Be sure you enjoy the outdoor patio and the adjacent garden.

The Avon Theatre in Stratford is a charming venue, with a classic look on the outside and a comfortable, welcoming feel inside. The seats are fairly comfortable with the sound and lighting being usually excellent. The location is great too — right in the heart of Stratford, close to shops, cafes, and parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. One thing to note is that the seating can feel a bit tight if the theatre is full, especially in the older sections, as was my case when I went to watch Macbeth there recently. Also, some of the best seats tend to sell out quickly, so it's a good idea to book in advance. Overall, the Avon Theatre is a nice place to enjoy live performances, especially as part of the Stratford Festival. The quality of the performances is first-rate.  As part of the Stratford Festival, the productions are top-tier. The Stratford Shakespeare Festival was launched in 1952 by Tom Patterson, a local journalist. Today, it has grown into one of Canada’s most popular cultural events. His vision was to bring Shakespeare's works to life in the town of Stratford, Ontario, a location that shared its name with the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. At the time, Stratford was a small town, but Patterson believed that bringing Shakespeare’s works to the town could not only elevate its cultural profile but also serve as an economic boost, drawing tourists from around the world. The idea was somewhat ambitious, given that Stratford was not known for its theater scene at that time. Patterson's vision eventually gained support from several key figures, with local residents rallying behind the project.

We watched a beautiful reproduction of the Anne of the green Gables in Avon theatre in downtown Stratford. The venue is great with a beautiful layout. The production was also amazing. Strongly recommend watching Anne of the Green Gables.

Came here for the first time and experienced the Anne of Green Gables play. To me it was just ok. Our first impression of going to Stratford was a pain because this city doesn't have enough parking for the theatres so we spent 20 minutes looking for parking with every lot full. Then rushed to arrive on time. Small issue: this venue lacks having enough washrooms for the amount of people during the 15 minute break. The play itself was mediocre. The actors/actresses were tremendous but this was a very liberal twist on the story of Anne of Green Gables. They added a gay character. Took a shot at the current USA VP. Among some other things I won't mention. To me, politics should stay out of plays unless it's necessary. The story lacked authenticity in the second hour and I wish I just left at half and explored Stratford. 2/5 ⭐⭐

Saw Macbeth and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels playing here this season. Superb. All the theatres in Stratford are excellent, with the Avon being no exception. Comfortable seating. Recommend coming here for top quality theatre.

We watched anne of green gables. Loved the production and set. Well executed. The theater is cozy and everything is well managed.

We came to see Macbeth and I don't think I've ever seen a show with better stagecrafting! The theater was lovely, with a really nice shop and a concession area where you could pre-order for intermission! What a great idea! We'll definitely be back again!

The Avon Theatre is a real treat. Not a bad sightline in the whole theatre (in my opinion). I often sit in "obstructed view" seats and rarely feel that I'm missing any of the action. The seats are comfortable, the lobby is light and the staff are helpful and kind.

Beautiful weekend, park and trails were full of bikers, joggers, walkers, people with thier fur babies. We traveled with our RV., and stopped to have a barbq. Park is well groomed and maintained to perfection. A must spot to stop and enjoy the day with your family.

this is a great Park to bring your kids to. There is a very current up-to-date climbing equipment along with a splash pad. The Pats are well maintained although they can get busy at times. The smell of the river isn't that bad if you stay far enough away. There are ample public washrooms that are extremely clean and well-maintained.

The park is spectacular right now with a superb display of blooming spring flowers and giant blossoming trees. Bring the family and friends for some magnificent photo opportunities. A walk through the Graham Arboretum section will definitely put a smile on your faces. There are about 20 kms of paved multi- purpose trails with some parking immediately adjacent to the paths which makes this one of the most accessible parks in London. The signage is clearly marked and it provides excellent information about the nearest public restrooms, picnic areas, and attractions. The long bridge across the Thames River offers wonderful views and beautiful photo opportunities. The ancient willow trees along the shoreline pathway are fantastic. There is a long staircase from the upper parking lot off of Springbank Drive but the lower park can also be accessed by the paved roadway at the end of the parking area.

Good for walking around the park! It's more like a park for nature sightseeing, so most people come here for picnics and relaxation. I got to see a lot of squirrels as well. The squirrels were really friendly (they even stood up to greet me as well).

Very nice park. In the fall, a variety of colors. The river I think is suitable for rafting, the current is decent. Ducks and geese walking on all lawns and paths leave a lot of surprises))) it's a little uncomfortable. .the child liked it, a large area for running and walking. There are many barbecue areas.

Excellent playground with lots of things for the kids to do. Great paved pathway throughout the park, lots of wildlife to see. The wading pool is about 2 feet deep in the middle and it's amazing for kids of all ages. Hours of fun!
