This is one of the best malls in Ontario. It is one of my favorite places to go. There are not too many people there and the space is big enough to, not feel uncomfortable. Free and not rushed.

Love visiting Upper Canada Mall! The washrooms are clean, and both floors are easy to get to via stairs, escalators, or elevator. The food courts are good with some halal options, and Toys “R” Us has a fun play area that my son absolutely loves. Great shopping experience overall!

I come here almost twice a week as seniors is incredibly empowering, not so crowded, friendly people and sales person. Everything you want to buy is there at a reasonable price, very clean, bus outside parking big free come and get it. Enjoy the Aircon on summertime.

They refused to make an exception. Ask for the name of the store manager and was told that I can't have it. Referred me to concierge. I told them I can't get through for days now. They said they they respond within 24 hours.I told them I contacted them more than 24 hours ago.They told me they're backed up. One BS answer after another. How do these people stay in business?

Upper Canada Mall is a great place to shop. The mall is always very clean, well-organized, and has a wide variety of stores to choose from. Whether you’re shopping for clothing, electronics, home goods, or just want to grab a bite to eat, you’ll find everything here. It’s a comfortable and enjoyable place to spend time.

I love this park. You have it all. It has a beautiful trail along Holland River. Park is specious and you can picnic. It’s great for kids. Great for walking pets. It’s great to spend time with friends and family there. It’s also beside Main Street in Newmarket so you have access to all amazing coffee shops, restaurants and stores. There always some kind of an event happening there during summer. This park has it all. Picnic area, trails, playground, river, restaurants, coffee shops and more

Its a very beautiful park. Just next to downtown. The trees, tracks everything is super nice. Cyclist track is also there. Autumn season colors are the best here.

2022 October 4★ Fairly lake park runs along the river and as such, has multiple bridge crossings. The park is part of the Tom Taylor Trail which runs about 7 or 8 kilometres North to South. Within the park, you'll come across gazebos, benches and Kilometre Trail Markers. There's markers use natural elements, art is inspired by the environment and the native Ojibwe ancestors. 10 trail markers in total will enhance your experience and help track your journey along our trail system. Free Parking within the park or along the side streets. A playground nearby.

It was early December and it was overcast. It was not busy on a weekday Friday. Went along the east side of the lake, continued after the first bridge, to the boardwalk. Crossed the second bridge, then came back from the west side of the lake. The loop was pretty short and easy.

Also known as Wesley Brooks Conservation Area is a great place for everyone. However, need to be careful of the cyclists as a lot of them are just going way too fast even though the paths are so supposed to be shared with everyone. Yet I had to pull my kids over many times because they don't even slow down or stop even for little kids. Some don't even give warnings that they are coming. Still the kids enjoyed the boardwalk and the playground.

A big lake park with so much greenery and biking space. You get to see Canada goose and their poop ( be careful not to stamp on) all around you. Fortunately we saw the Beaver hanging around the pool that connects the two sides of the park. Play zone is quite beautiful.

Beautifully manicured and a trail big enough for walking, biking and other summer activities. There is a lot of wild life around and tree coverage. It's a beautiful spot to walk - dog friendly as well!

A place to host any fine art performance. The stage is equipped with ample focussed lighting, enhanced audio, good visibility from both ground and first floor seating area. There is always assistance for directing both indoors and outdoors. Outdoors have a patio space too. One of the best places in the city with ample parking. You will definitely love history any musical or dance events. There will be no regrets.

Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts is a cozy and well-run venue that’s perfect for live shows and community events. The space is intimate, with great sightlines and acoustics, making every seat feel close to the action. The staff are friendly and the building is clean and easy to navigate. It’s a great spot for a night out without the downtown crowds, and they host a wide range of events throughout the year. There are parking spots available in the back of the building with 2-hour parking limit.

This theatre has the best acoustics around! No bad seats! Love seeing shows here! Thank you Richmond Hill team for bringing such an amazing array of artists!

Place is amazing although get there early as parking can be a challenge. Great staff, comfortable seating and amazing sound. Order drinks prior to show for quick pickup during intermission.

The staff/owner is super friendly. Nice, quaint little theater. Due for a makeover maybe but still a great place to go. They do lots of special viewings for kids/moms/elderly. Super cheap compared to Silver City...Tuesday is cheap night, my son and I enjoyed a movie for $10!

Ok,to start, the quality of the film was great. When the movie started it was very nice. The problem i had was with the pricing, I felt I was getting ripped off for buying treats for my wife and I. Really, come on $5.50 for a very small bag of m&m's is unreal. The same bag could be bought at the Dollar store for a dollar. Also they had no choice of water, only what they wanted to sell, which was totally criminal $5.00 for a water, come on. Anyway the short of it is I felt ripped off, but liked the movie,"Jurassic World".

I love the GEM! It’s a great theatre that supports the community it’s in. Prices for tickets and concessions are great value. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I love the personal touch of having the staff introduce the film and tell everyone of upcoming events. Keep up the awesome work everyone!

I went to see Dr. Doolittle. It was very good. Good family movie but not really young kids. Maybe 10yrs and older. That's just my opinion. Some scenes are scary but not that violent. The seats are very comfy and big. An adult ticket is $12.00. Not bad price. I'd definitely go again.

Awesome little theatre! The owner is amazing and does a lot for the community. I absolutely LOVE the Way Back Play Back in July and August when he plays a free old movie every Wednesday night at 9:30!! Not only that but it is half price for regular movies and all snacks! The Gem is a "hidden gem" known to us locals for a long time now!

Friendly and helpful staff, and reasonably priced concession snacks. The snack buckets are such a brilliant idea! I cannot tell you how many close calls I've had carrying popcorn and drinks in those shallow cardboard trays offered at other theatres.

One of the key entertainment facilities in this town, indeed worthy of the crown atop its head. Old school style brings the theme of this Theater to life! Amazing staff and management, great food, beverage and snacks and very well kept up. Despite visible signs of aging (which I believe deserves to be ignored in any and all reviews due to how old this theater is), it is one of the most amazing places to go in Georgina!

Obviously this place has an amazing view. I ordered an old fashioned. It was perfectly made. My food was amazing. I got the multi-course meal that included an appetizer, the main dish, and a dessert. It was definitely on the pricey side. For one person with a good solid tip and of course the alcoholic drink. My total bill was about $160. That said the view is amazing. The service was great. The food was amazing. Absolutely worth every bit of it and it was a great evening to myself with a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend getting reservations and I would also recommend to look and see what time is sunset is and get there about a half hour before

I recently visited the CN Tower with a group of friends on a weekday, and it was an unforgettable experience! We decided to buy our tickets online beforehand, which meant we didn't have to wait in long lines. This definitely helped make the whole experience smoother and more enjoyable from the start. The moment we stepped into the lift, the excitement was already building up. The staff in the elevator were not just professional but also incredibly funny and engaging, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to the ride. The fast ascent gave us a sense of anticipation, and the view as we reached the top was nothing short of breathtaking. From the observation deck, the city sprawled beneath us like a living, breathing landscape. The buildings seemed to stretch endlessly, while the cars and vehicles below appeared as tiny moving dots—it's amazing how perspective shifts when you're so high up! The day view was spectacular, offering a clear, panoramic look at Toronto's impressive skyline, and we could see all the way to Lake Ontario. But what really made the experience even more magical was seeing the city transition as the sun began to set. Watching the sky change from golden hues to the deep blues of night, the lights of the city flickering to life below, was truly mesmerizing. One of the highlights of our visit was the chance to see the vastness of Lake Ontario. The enormous water body stretched out endlessly, and you could almost feel the peace that it brought to the bustling city. It’s hard to put into words how incredible it felt to take in such a stunning sight from such a height. While we soaked in the views, we also treated ourselves to some delicious food at the restaurant, which had its own glass floor. Dining while looking out over the entire city, surrounded by the endless sky and twinkling lights, made the meal even more memorable. Everything down below seemed so small and far away—the buildings, the busy streets, even the people—all of it felt like a different world from up there. It was a perfect blend of nature, cityscape, and human activity, all from the comfort of the CN Tower. We enjoyed the beauty of the tower. We opted for the trip to the top. It's a tad overrated. The clouds at the top made getting good pictures a difficult task. The elevator is super crowded, but very fast. The staff members are kind, respectful and helpful. I think going to the observation deck would have been a better option for us. It is lit beautifully at night from the outside. The glass floor and big beautiful images behind it were fun!

I visited the CN Tower with my family a few years back, and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. You really get to see the city from a whole new perspective. Standing on the glass floor was both exciting and a little nerve-wracking. I definitely felt a bit anxious looking straight down, but it was a fun and memorable experience. The CN Tower is a must-see! A unique place any time of year. The view from the top is indescribable – the entire city looks like a scale model, with Lake Ontario stretching out to the horizon. The biggest attraction? The glass floor, which you step onto with a little trepidation, but then burst into a broad smile 😄 The whole experience was perfectly organized and with very friendly service. It's worth buying tickets online. If you're in Toronto, you simply can't miss it! I recommend it to anyone who wants to see Toronto from a completely different perspective. My first time experience here was amazing. The walk to the restaurant is a little bit much but once you are in the building it’s actually pretty neat. You go up the sky lift that gives you amazing views of the city and immediately out of the elevator you are guided and seated to you seat. Now I did make reservations that were honored so I’d recommend making arrangements ahead of time, we were there for a birthday and they accommodated my wishes of acknowledging the special with a cute placard and a special desert for his birthday with a cute placard. The food however was 10/10 I had the lamb shank and grits, with a deconstructed Caesar salad. Everything tasted great even my guys food was good he opted for the seafood route with a lobster style meal and Brussels. I can say 10/10 even our waiter was attentive and helped up pick out items and plan our meal accordingly. I missed his name but he was amazing and well wishes to him. I inquired about if there were any semi sweet wines and he recommended me one and even let me sample it ! Of course it was amazing right from Canadian vineyards which was a plus. I’d definitely recommend if you are okay spending a good penny.

We absolutely loved this experience and we're going to come back to do it again. We enjoyed everything about it. We were able to walk up and buy tickets, there was no wait. I was truly surprised by the size of the tower. The views were incredible and there's an art exhibit. I don't want to give it all away but this was worth every penny.

We absolutely loved our experience! It was so much fun for everyone, and truly perfect for all ages — especially the kids. There were so many activities that kept them entertained and excited the entire time. Everything was well organized, clean, and safe, which made it easy for us to just relax and enjoy ourselves. The staff were friendly and helpful, and you could tell they really cared about making sure everyone had a great time. We’ll definitely be coming back — such a wonderful place for families to make memories together!

Ripley’s Aquarium is an amazing place for families. My son loved watching the stingrays — you can see them from above (bird’s-eye view) in open water, just a few feet away. The kids’ section has a small filtration system for play purposes, where children can learn how water moves through the aquarium. It’s educational, fun, and a great way for kids to explore and understand how filtration works. The place is clean, well-organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for both kids and adults!

Its a really cool, fairly big aquarium. It was a little cfowdwd, but other than that, it was fun. There were so many decorations and things to see, and unique sea creatures. The kids indoor playground looked fun, and all the tanks were very clean, and the creatures were well maintained. The only problem was the food. I there were more fikd options. The only cafeteria type food place only had a couple crowded tables, and barely had anything on the menu. But that wasnt enough to bring my rating down to a 4 stars, because the aquarium is so great. I love this place.

Awesome for all ages. Plenty of seating arrangements for elders. Touching the sting ray is the best thing as a climax kids can have. My kids had an amazing day. The aquarium has a lot of variety of sea creatures . Moreover the way it has been presented is amazing. Information display is very clear and simple. Its worth the money. Memorable experience.

9:00 a.m. Toronto My CityPASS said I could visit Ripley’s Aquarium anytime, so with an hour to spare before my CN Tower reservation, I decided to head inside. I asked the girl scanning tickets how long it usually took to get through. She told me about an hour and a half. It was Monday morning, and the place was completely empty. It was quiet, the kind of quiet that hums in your chest. Just the low music and the faint whoosh of water cycling through the tanks. The blue light made everything look like it was breathing. I wandered slowly, taking in the small faces of the fish and the strange calm that filled the rooms. There was even a “quiet tent” set up for anyone who needed a break. I understood why. If I had another encounter with that sawfish staring at me like it was judging my entire existence, I’d need it too. For a quick stop, it ended up being one of the most peaceful hours of my trip so far.

It was nice, but honestly, $56 for adults and $38 for children is way too expensive for what you offer. There were no glow fish, no dolphins, and not even a dolphin show. For the amount you charge, at least include some impressive or unique marine life that makes the visit feel worth the money. They seriously needs to improve its exhibits or reconsider its pricing it feels more like a tourist trap than an educational experience.

One of the best Aquariums I have ever gone to. Great tour of the water life in Lake Ontario, this place taught me a lot about the creatures in the water. They have a great jellyfish exhibit which has glow in the dark jellyfish under blacklight which was an amazing experience. If you have never visited this aquarium I highly recommend you check this place out!

Great food. Great drinks. Great service. Great atmosphere. Great history. Located in an old roundhouse which is full of railway history, this part brews some great beer and has a good menu for food. There is a separate tap room for those wanting just drinks. A good selection of inside and outside seating. On match days it can be very busy, as the stadium is opposite. If you are in Toronto and looking for a good place to eat and drink, this will not disappoint. Any railway fans, this is an absolute must.

We attended this place when the Blue Jays were playing the Houston Astros, namely in September 2025. It was lovely to see so many customers in the restaurant supporting The Jays. Heather was our waitress and she was extremely enthusiastic. It is refreshing to see someone so perky and happy to be at her place of work. She was adept at explaining the menu and making us feel welcome. Furthermore, there was a young woman who stated that she visited Ireland for a year and we were grateful that this member of staff took the time to speak to us. I ordered cheese & biscuits and the portion was quite substantial. The food is excellent and someone clearly made an effort to ensure that it looked well-presented. The service was efficient and it was a relief that we did not have to wait ages for our food. The restaurant is spacious and it is suited for large groups. Every single member of staff was extremely enthusiastic and interacted well with the customers.

Great spot right by the CN Tower! We loved the laid-back vibe and the outdoor seating. The unfiltered Pilsner was refreshing. We had the chicken wings and the fish and chips—both were delicious. It's the perfect place to relax with good food, awesome views, and cold beer. We will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a hidden gem—warm, welcoming, and perfect for catching up with friends or family. The patio is spacious and beautifully set up, ideal for relaxing conversations in a laid-back, airy vibe. The food is outstanding. The fish and chips were the star... crispy, golden, and full of flavor. Paired with one of their house-brewed beers (lots of great options for every taste), it was the perfect meal. What truly made the experience unforgettable was our server, Olivia. She was friendly, attentive, and built a sweet connection with our daughter. Her thoughtful service made us feel like we truly belonged. Can’t wait to come back!

Pretty good brewery with a amazing view. Went here to try something different on tap to what we get back home. Luckily I came on the day the Unfiltered Larger was kegged, which was in itself very refreshing to have on a hot day. Had few others as well, no complaints. Tap room was spacious but chose to sit outside to soak in the weather and view of the CN tower.

We had a great experience at the Steam Whistle. Inside was full, but we had a nice time on the patio. The Steam Whistle is conveniently located right across from the CN Tower and is apart of the Roundhouse Train Museum. We had kids, and they had a high chair and kids menu available. The food was hot, fresh, and very good. The pilsner was good too. The environment is laid back and casual. We had great service. No complaints about this visit! I would recommend.

You must visit this establishment in downtown Toronto if you are in the area. Sit out in the sun soaked patio, complete with the original cobblestone, and tucked away between vintage trains and simply get a sweet look at the CN Tower. The staff are the humblest of people you'll ever meet and the serviceis efficient. The menu is delish, reasonable priced and portions satisfactory. The feeling here's memorable ✨️

Beautiful, scenic and relaxing! Stunning views of downtown Toronto en route by ferry to this quaint set of interconnected islands. Lovely boardwalk from Ward’s Island to Centre Island. Clean and lifeguard-supervised swimming area on Centre Island. Cute amusement park and gardens. Spend the day or just a few hours.

Toronto Islands are one of the best places to visit in the city. The view of the skyline from across the water is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset. Whether it’s summer or fall, the islands are stunning. There are three islands, each with its own charm. You can take a boat to any of them (check the schedule), or grab a water taxi near Harbourfront for a more relaxing ride. The return trip from the island is free even if you didn’t take the ferry. The are a few beaches which are clean and scenic, perfect for summer days. I highly recommend going on a weekday, ideally in the morning to avoid crowds (it can be VERY crowdy on weekends). On weekdays it is quiet, peaceful, and you might feel like you have the whole place to yourself. The best way to explore is by renting a bike through Bike Share. There are lots of them available. There is also a nice boardwalk on the opposite side of the islands (no bikes permitted though). But the best part is of course the iconic view from Centre Island. There are also a few cafes for a quick snack, plenty of picnic spots, lots of water stations. Overall, Toronto Islands are a must-see!

We ended up catching the ferry to Billy Bishop Airport (~10minutes). From there, we walked to Center Island. It was incredibly crowded for a weekday. Prices were high for pretty much everything. The highlights for us were the little farm, where we got to pet the ponies, donkeys, and goats. We caught the ferry back to the mainland maybe 40 minutes after exploring Center Island.

I always have a great time on this island—beautiful nature and delicious food. The only thing I didn’t like this time was that some people were going into the fountain pool, which isn’t allowed. Security should take steps to prevent this.

Visited Toronto Island Park around 3 PM in October with friends. We spent about two hours walking around and watched a beautiful sunset. It was a bit cold, and there isn’t much to do during the colder months besides walking, grabbing a coffee or snack at the small café, or checking out the restaurant that was open. The views of the city and lake were great, but overall it’s a quiet, simple experience in the off-season. Also, in winter the ferry doesn’t reach the main island, so you have to walk about 30 minutes to get there

had a great time at Toronto Islands. The place is peaceful and has amazing views of the city skyline. I went during the air show, and watching it from the island was a perfect choice. The planes flying over the water and skyline made it a great experience. We also had a small barbecue there, which added to the fun. The open space, fresh air, and calm surroundings made it a relaxing day. The ferry ride to the island was smooth and easy. Overall, it was a lovely day,good weather, exciting air show, tasty food, and a perfect spot to enjoy nature while still being close to the city.

Beautiful islands to enjoy some quality time with friends and family. It’s an easy ferry ride or water taxi from the harbours. During weekend a very busy place, so a wait for ferry is long. However if you wish to save time, get a water taxi which is quick for some extra dollars. Overall the island is very clean with great sights and activities for everyone. It’s huge with different sides of it. Centre island is the main attraction for a new person or tourist. Easy to walk around or rent a cycle for better experience. Lots of places to get a quick drink or snacks. Lot of signage’s available and its self explanatory. Best views of Toronto skyline from the islands.

I was impressed at how big this shopping centre is. There are a lot of stores of all kinds; high to low end. Although there was a lot of people everywhere, place looks clean and well organized. If you need to go somewhere else in the city, public transit is just within walking distance. Food court and bathrooms are nice and clean taking into consideration place has a lot of foot traffic.

For me, this shopping mall is one of the most beautiful and impressive in Toronto. It’s not only huge in size but also has one of the best food courts in the city. Starting from the lower level — the food court is spacious, lively, and offers an incredible variety of dishes to suit every taste. From fast food to more refined meals, it’s truly a paradise for food lovers. The range of stores is also great — from H&M to Guess, there’s something for every shopping enthusiast. Now, to the downsides. Unfortunately, some of the security staff behave unprofessionally. Instead of focusing on maintaining order, they often pay attention to the wrong people. At times, homeless individuals enter the mall freely while security watches ordinary visitors — it doesn’t feel very reassuring. Another issue is the cleanliness of the restrooms, especially the one near the Queen Street exit — it’s honestly very dirty, and the smell can be noticed even from the hallway. Overall, despite a few drawbacks, I will definitely come back to this mall because it truly has many great things to offer. I just hope they improve the cleanliness and the attitude of the security staff. Pros: wide variety of stores, excellent food court, convenient location, clean main areas. Cons: unprofessional security, dirty restrooms.

I would label this as a high end mall based on the stores inside. It’s aesthetically pleasing but some escalators were broken. I saw two separate food courts which were both better laid out than any mall food court I’ve seen in the US so far. One food court seemed serene like it was designed for bringing a date.

A big mall in downtown Toronto with a great selection of brands. I enjoyed wandering around and checking out the stores. However, the food court had limited options, so me and my partner ended up going elsewhere to eat.

My favorite shopping centre. So many stores, from Miniso, Winners to Lululemon and Kate Spade. The food court has wide variety of food too.

Big mall in Downtown Toronto with a good selection of brands. Really liked their Sephora store as it had most of the make up brands I wanted. The mall is clean and looks very modern. Had a good wander around although the food court had limited options so had to go somewhere else to eat

The tree was absolutely beautiful, and I was able to catch it on time.So that I could see it all lit up to music, and they even made it snow inside the mall. Not sure what the showtimes were during the day, but I highly recommend.If you go, you try to find out and stay the three minutes to watch this massive beautiful tree.

We had a fantastic visit to the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. An absolute must for any hockey enthusiast or even casual sports fans. The exhibits are world-class, rich with history, and beautifully curated. Standing in front of the Stanley Cup and exploring the interactive displays was a highlight. The only disappointment was that the theatre was closed for a private function, which we only discovered after purchasing our tickets. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand. Overall, the experience was outstanding, and we highly recommend the Hockey Hall of Fame for an unforgettable glimpse into the sport’s greatest moments.

I'm not a massive hockey fan, but this museum was a great way to spend about 2-3 hours. Every gallery is filled with history, epic moments and team superstars. Jerseys covered hallway cabinets and screens showing the best plays were everywhere. I'm sure if your a hockey fan, you'd enjoy it even more. They also had a fairly large gift shop, with lots of NHL merchandise. My favourite section was definitely the hall of masks.

I spent all day here, from opening to close…to give a hint at how much I loved it here. Unlike the baseball and football halls of fame, which feel stuff, self-important, and frankly boring, the Hockey Hall of Fame is bright, vibrant, with loads of ways to explore and interact within the museum thanks to QR codes and “quests” to complete. See Rocket Richard’s 500th goal puck? Scan to QR code to watch the goal! Find a cool artifact and want to learn more? You can watch the conservator talk more about it. Beyond the 100+ year history of hockey as a sport and the NHL in general are also games where you can shoot a foam puck on goalies…or become a goalie yourself! And I haven’t yet gotten to the Great Hall, a former bank turned into a stunningly gorgeous “cathedral to hockey”, with the famous Stanley Cup and other trophies. The old bank vault now holds the most historic of treasures, a fun touch! Absolutely anyone can come in here and have fun. NOTE: the HHOF is in the basement of the Brookfield Building. There are signs all over telling you how to get to the entrance (but you will head downstairs). When you buy your ticket, your hand gets stamped for reentry…the basement of Brookfield Building has a food court with well over a dozen stalls, perfect for lunch or a snack.

What can I say? It's the Hockey Hall Of Fame!! Such an incredible experience. Everything from historical game worn jerseys, tons of classic vintage gear (all donated) all NHL, International Tournament memorabilia, Olympics and country's you just wouldn't expect to love hockey (like Holland) but they do and also have beautiful jersey there. The women's hockey is so rich in Canada and the displays showcasing them is such a point of pride. We got to see (and touch) the Stanley Cup and get a ton of cool info on it and so much more from hhe attendant. Goalie mask display was one of my favourites but the Stanley Cup Ring display was easily the most interesting one of all. A full Montreal Canadians locker room sits in the middle of it all and it really encompasses the love of the game when you go in. Great job over there, entry was only $25 (CHEAP) and you won't see it all in one visit! If you're in Toronto as a Canadian you HAVE to go and if you're not from around here you MUST go! And enjoy. I got to see Sidney Crosbys Gold Medal Winning stick and Jersey but whats even better for me is Jarome Iginla (Calgary Flames) assisted that goal in the most beautiful way. What fun. #gocanadago

I’ve been coming here since I was young, and it never disappoints. There’s so much to do and see, with an incredible amount of hockey history on display. The interactive section with shooting and goalie saves is a blast—always a hit with kids, and big kids like me! The gift shop is awesome, full of memorabilia and souvenirs for hockey fans. This is an absolute must-visit for any hockey fan!

Absolutely brilliant. For me, as a lifelong hockey fan, it's a dream come true. The museum is wonderfully presented and brings back so many memories. It not only contains anecdotes about old players and jerseys, but also all the trophies and pays due respect to the legends of the sport. Highly recommend. The only downside: I participated in the shoot-out challenge on-site and would have loved to take my video home with me. Unfortunately, due to an employee error, it's not available. Even after asking there, they couldn't help me. It's a real shame, as it would have been a great souvenir.

Family and I went to this amazing St.Lawrence Market and it was so many shops inside for whatever you need. It had amazing Food options and so many Meats options also. What are the unique thing is how different culture kind of meat and cheese and fruits that were in this Market. The food was so fresh anywhere you tried to eat because it was made fresh right away. We try the pizza place and it was very delicious. The only reason why I give it a four star is because it would have been nice to see some Halal Options in Market as it had None and we had to find Cheese pizza to eat. Also bathroom could been cleaner! Overall Very Amazing and Unique Market to visit.

If you would love to visit local market as a tourist, this is the place to go! It has nice market atmosphere and I see long queue at many shops in the market by locals. It also cater both raw and ready to eat food. So you can buy beef steak to cook in your homestay or buy ready to eat food. Variety range from meat to seafood to fruits to bread to tarts to desserts and even maple syrup! Beautiful atmosphere and nice yummy food.... A nice brunch place and market!

Had a terrific time spending the day browsing St Lawrence Market. Bought an amazingly creative bouquet of flowers to brighten our hotel room. Had a delicious charcuterie lunch made from purchasing items from various vendors. Dessert was the largest berries we’ve ever seen, sweet, juicy, and delicious! Bought some pork belly to bring home after our trip. Purchased wines, a few souvenirs for our kids, generally had a nice day browsing through the enormous market. For reference I’d say it is about six times the size of Pike Place Market in Seattle.

Pretty much every visitor to Toronto knows this market. It's in a class of its own among public markets. Think about the scale, the vibe, the amazing selection and quality of products. You can even eat and drink while you shop—how great is that? On a nice day (if it's not too cold), the outdoor patio is the place to be. It's spacious, with pigeons wandering around, and another market is just across the street. Picture this: you're eating a lobster roll or pasta, feeding the pigeons, enjoying the scenery, and chatting with friends. What a fantastic scene!

A nice place to visit, lots of options for fancy goods, food particularly seafoods, meats, cheese, backed delicacies, sweets and farm produce. Liked the bright, happy vibe and roaming carefree environment. It was Christmas buying time, it added colourfulness. Good for buying souvenirs too.

This is probably the best market in town for fresh produce and so much more. For example, you can indulge yourself in all things protein in many shops on the main floor. If you feel more adventurous, you might want to check out the seafood stalls as well. My vegetarian friends will also find their delights. This is one of the oldest and simply best places in Toronto for the freshest food possible. I feel blessed to live nearby and be able to take advantage of this privilege to get the food of my choice at anytime. I especially love the lamb chops and marinated chicken breasts 😊 Highly recommended to all foodies living downtown Toronto.

Wonderful experience of the oldest market in Canada! There was a booth that has been there since before Canadas birth! The main floor is where fresh food is sold. The lower level has all the international flavours… will visit again. Lively atmosphere… need sitting area in winter. Has a mini-museum in lowest level where the jail used to be.

For my first camping experience, I couldn’t have chosen a better location than Sibbald Point. The campground offered ample space for parking and setting up multiple tents; we comfortably managed with two tents and one car, and still had plenty of room to spare. The site is meticulously maintained, with a variety of amenities that enhance the experience. There’s a beach and a boat area for water activities, designated spots for BBQs, and a food area, ensuring that all your outdoor needs are covered. One of the highlights is the abundance of washrooms conveniently located around each campsite, making the stay more comfortable. The campsites themselves are surrounded by trees, providing a sense of privacy and seclusion, which added to the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the proximity to a nearby neighborhood was a bonus. It’s reassuring to know that if you forget something or need to stock up on food or supplies, everything you need is just a short drive away. Sibbald Point truly offers a well-rounded camping experience, making it a perfect choice for both first-timers and seasoned campers alike.

Overall I recommend this beach. The beach has plenty of parking most of the time. My family has a season pass as we go here often as its close by. The beach is great for young children as they can go out fairly far and it is still shallow. There are also cool rocks to either fish from or snorkel. We camped here one time and it was a decent experience. One down side is the need to pre-register for each day use, although if you can get passed this its not bad. Another downside is because it's close to Toronto it gets many sketchy and disrespectful people. When we camped with my family and children the camper next to our site started blasting evil music with curse words in it and when we asked them to turn it down they didn't care. The park ranger ended up having to talk to these campers and give them a warning. Also almost every time we get a picnic table near the beach and start using it with our stuff all over it some disrespectful people place their belongings on our picnic table that we are using. I think it's a cultural thing and these recent immigrants don't understand Canadian values and respect for peoples space. Other than these incidents, this park is beautiful and fun for my family so we still will end up going here due to it being close and convenient.

Beautiful spot. You can do a lot of beach activities. You need to bring your own canoe or kayak as rentals are not provided in the provincial park. Couple of Canadians and refugees were feeding sea gulls. Please avoid doing that. Other than that lake simcoe is love.

Spent two nights camping here and absolutely loved every minute. The grounds are very well kept as are the facilities. Such a beautiful and relaxing experience. Took a tour of the little museum and visited the shops as well, friendly staff. The water is clean as was the beach, overall a great place. Highly recommended. We left the dogs at home this trip but the lots are roomy enough to bring your pets and the dog beaches are easy accessible. It would be great if you could get a paddle boat or jetski rental nearby but you can bring your own as they do not have any on site or nearby.

Great place to camp not too far from Toronto. Sobeys is just a 9 minute drive away if you need more groceries. Camp grounds can be noisy, especially in the west camp where there are electric outlets. People blast music on loud speakers, sing and hold parties both at camp sites and at the beach, but it was lively and fun since they happened to play good music when we stayed there. Things quieted down before 11 pm. Electric outlets come in handy for people with electric cars, RVs, campers. Also many of us used the plugs to pump air mattresses, charge cell phones, etc. One family had string lights decorating their camp site at night which was pretty. Beautiful beach and lake for day trips or to enjoy while camping. Beach gets busy and crowded but we got there for 10 am on a Saturday and had a nice picnic table by the lake. Staff at the front gate and at the little amphitheatre were friendly and helpful. It was educational to go to amphitheatre to learn more about bugs. They had nets and containers for visitors for catching bugs which are then gently released back into the meadow. Be careful about ticks! I’ve attached the warning from the guide/guide to the park.

This park offers a great camping experience with beautiful natural views. The beach is decent for swimming, and there aren't many mosquitoes. However, the washroom cleanliness could be improved, and the provided toilet paper is of low quality—it's best to bring your own. On the bright side, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful park with nice beach and facilities. We visit every year with our family. There is a daily ticket per vehicle that is affordable. You can bbq with the following of safety rules. Make sure you clearly understand the law - drinking alcohol beverage in public is not allowed and we witnessed some people being charged by the Police.

I visited on a very hot summer day and unfortunately many of the animals were either hiding in the shade or sleeping, which made it harder to see them. I was especially excited to see the polar bears, but they were resting during my visit. The zoo itself is quite large, and it can easily take half a day to explore all the different sections. I think going in the fall would be a better experience since the weather is cooler and the animals are likely to be more active and visible. Despite the heat, I really enjoyed walking through the different areas, and my favorite part of the zoo was definitely the Africa section with its wide variety of animals and beautiful setting. Overall, it was a fun visit and I would recommend it, but the timing of the season can make a big difference in what you get to see.

In Toronto, the Zoo is one of the most visited attractions for tourists and locals alike, as its focus on entertaining children and young adults means it's always bustling. If you're planning a visit, I recommend purchasing your tickets online in advance to avoid lines at the entrance. However, you can also try buying tickets at the door and get discounted tickets. The Zoo often hosts events at certain times of the year, such as this one for Halloween, so it's a good idea to keep an eye on their social media for more information on opening days. To get there, there's a shuttle service from Union Station and a bus that runs directly to the Zoo. If you're driving, they have private parking. For food, the park is very well-equipped, with plenty of snack bars, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a Tim Hortons. However, you can bring your own food, as the park has picnic tables. The park has excellent facilities for visitors with disabilities, with paved streets without potholes, access ramps, staff support, and accessible restrooms. The park also has lockers, where you can rent and leave your belongings. Along with all the animal facilities, the zoo also has a splash pad that opens in spring and closes in the first weeks of fall, a zip line, a carousel, and souvenir shops. The tour is very cool, and everyone is sure to be delighted.

Toronto Zoo is a great place for families. Even though there is construction happening right now and a few animals are not available to see, it’s still absolutely worth visiting. The zoo is clean, spacious, and well organized. My son enjoyed the kids’ learning areas and interactive displays. Friendly staff, lots of walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax. A great outdoor experience for kids and adults — we’ll definitely visit again!

I haven't been to the zoo in 30 years! My one year old grandchild was in awe and it brought back wonderful memories of visiting with his mother. I loved how clean it was and the hospital was pretty amazing. The staff were most helpful too. A great day had by all.

Overall great place. The only reason I removed a star is because, although I understand many of the animals not being out because November is cold, in the canadian area there were supposed to be 6 animals out and we were only able to see 3 of them. That was definitely not worth the absurdly steep hill we had to climb on our way back. That was the only downside of the experience. Loved the place though.

We hadn't been to the zoo in over a decade. Though we got there relatively early in the day, we ended up skipping the whole Canadian section for two reasons: time, and the sheer amount of walking we would have had to do. The day we went, the Capybaras were also block off (or at least we could not figure out how to get to them). A tad disappointing for one of our party. I think that some of the signs were a tad difficult to follow, even with a map to help guide us. There was also limited staff on the premises with visitors, so there wasn't really anyone we could ask other than other visitors. I strongly encourage the following: 1. Buy your tickets in advance. If buying on location, make sure to show your presto card for a discount. 2. Bring food and water. You will get hungry, and as with all day long trips you will need to refresh and fuel yourself. 3. Bring a good camera. You're not particularly close to any of the animals in outdoor enclosures (understandable), so if you wish to take pictures, make sure you bring your best camera or phone. 4. Make note of washrooms. There are a good number of them, but you do have to walk a good little while between each one.

It is a fantastic place to visit with family and friends. We had a good time seeing all Fall colors and walking around. While animals in captivity is bad, it is still important to understand them and value their importance in our lives. They have so many different species of all kinds of animals. Some animals are always resting so you don't get to see them always. You have to pay $20 for the parking and the tickets are extra. They have plenty of parking though. Definitely recommend visiting once.

We came here for the North Pole Experience as a family of three. We did not enjoy the experience at all. The train ride is 15-20 minutes south and then it reverses back to the station. There is no stop. There are very limited food options on site, which is unacceptable especially given that outside food is not permitted. We do not recommend this experience at $200. Save your money and go to Wonderland. Go read the other reviews and see that I'm not the only one. Huge disappointment!

This was cute but it really wasn’t worth the price of admission. Unfortunately it was a rainy day but the outdoor stuff was still open. The prices for souvenirs were marked at one price but we paid far less than marked (which we were happy about). I was sure for the $400+ I spent for 5 adults, 1 child & 1 child on lap, there was supposed to be a show onboard (there wasn’t) but Elsa, Anna, The Grinch & Santa did make an appearance and stopped briefly at each table and chatted with the kids. Myself and people at other tables also thought there was supposed to be a show. There was a small singing group on the grounds prior to boarding, concession stands to but popcorn, hot chocolate, butter tarts and alcohol. The face painter wasn’t available but a young staff member did paint a Christmas tree on my granddaughter’s face for her. We did not receive the certificate like we were supposed to. I also “assumed” there would have been Christmas lights along the route, outside, but you know what happens when you assume. I was so excited about the excursions with my fans very disappointed for the price we paid.

We did the murder mystery dinner. It was much better than the older reviews would have you believe and it seems like they've addressed many issues, but it's still not worth the $130 price. You're better off getting dinner somewhere and going to a play. Good: vegetarian food was good, cake at the end was great, some cast members did a great job involving people that looked interested. Bad: food service was odd because people near us got food like 20 minutes before us and while we waited, food was being carried past us all the way down the train. The murder mystery was okay. The actors share their time between 3 cars, there wasn't much of a story and there was no strong motive. You could easily miss details if you weren't paying attention or facing the right way. Overall it was okay, but not worth $130 a ticket. I know it's a "donation" and there are many volunteers, but the people paying for this treat it like an outing comparable to other similar activities. Even in the summer, the train was VERY cold, I guess this is nice for the busy staff, so bring warm clothes.

We went to the Easter event on the 8th, due to the previous Christmas event cancelled, they gave us free admission tickets. And it was a fun event, people there are nice and friendly. Most likely they are senior people work as volunteers. And plenty of activities, face painting, jumping castles, carriage ride, little train ride, nothing cost a penny. My son and me were really enjoyed it. We can tell it is a non- profit organization. As I saw a lot of bad reviews about the cancellation. And bad words towards it, it is really unfair. The weather is something hard to control, also we could tell the train is old they do need maintenance sometimes. We should give them more patience and understanding. Our local people suppose to support local businesses.

Such a unique opportunity! I bought tickets for my friends birthday and we went to the murder mystery event. They had free parking near the station which was great and we arrived at 6. The invitation said that the fun starts at 6, it wasn't clear to us we should be mingling with the actors to start the game. But once we did it was great. I do think the young man serving the drinks was really overwhelmed with the line up and cooler. Maybe a additional person to help on the future would be helpful. The best thing about the entire experience was learning that the majority of the people involved were volunteers. That warmed my heart and definitely made me want to come back. The food was better than expected. We recieved a salad, our main plate and a piece of cake. We got the vegetarian option which was a stuffed pepper. The singing and dancing was great! We had to guess the murderer. We happened to be right, I think the end was a bit rushed because we didn't learn the motive or details about the initial murder which you usually do in murder mystery parties but honestly it was a great night. Thinking of coming back for the fall or winter for sure !!

I did the father's day wild west and the food was the best part of the entire experience. They offered brisket and pulled pork with mac and cheese and potato salad and all of it was hot and tasty. It wasn't advertised what would be served so this exceeded expectations. What was underwhelming was the rodeo and train ride. The rodeo had 2 horses in a small pen that stood on pedestals and there was some quick rope tricks and a whip demonstration. In my opinion it was lack luster and not very entertaining. The train ride provided exactly what was advertised at the mimum viable effort required to not be considered false advertising. We were to be robbed during the train ride and that's the only thing that happened. 4 people, some dressed up in western clothes, others just bandanas, said this is a train robbery and then walked up to each person asking for money (goes to charity). This took place over 5 minutes and then they walked around chatting with riders and took pictures with them. The other 55 minutes of the ride we just sat and chatted and looked at the trees since that is all you can see out the windows until you reached the end overlooking a swamp. I understand this is a non profit, but I can't recommend this to anyone I know. I'm likely not the target audience for this kind of experience as a young adult, as it appears to be geared more towards seniors and families with very young kids. At least I got to spend quality time with my dad.

Felt like cheated when we arrived at the location. Kids bouncy castle passes were for $25 and tokens for $3. Some bouncy castles require 2 tokens and some required 3 tokens. At the time of booking the website mentioned ground pass in it. What’s the point of including ground pass if kids have to pay for the fun additionally. Website should mention it clearly that bouncy castle costs $25 on top of train rides. Overall a below par experience of slow train ride and worn out facility.

So grateful to have this gem in our community. Great pop corn, comfortable seats and polite staff. It’s heartwarming to see youth get their first opportunity at a job thanks to the kind management. Great experience!

Old time movie theater without the ridiculous prices for food like the galaxy cinema empire. The seats were super comfortable and the sound was good , we could hear a little of the action movie going on in the next theater but not enough to be a distraction . We drove 1.5 hours to come here and it was worth it.We will definitely be back .

We moved from Uxbridge last May to Pefferlaw but still come back to this Theatre 🎥 as it so amazing with it timeless feeling in a small town. You get everything you need here like you would in a big box theatre and So Much More! This is still our favourite theatre ever.

This cinema is fantastic! The venue is beautiful and has a great style. Highly recommend it for an excellent movie-going experience.

A two-theatre cinema with a snack bar, wine, beer and grazing boxes. Servers will layer the butter onto your popcorn. The seats are comfortable. All this is within 100 feet of the sidewalk. For those who prefer a quieter, cozier movie-going experience, it is perfect. The sound system is up to the job, though! Old movie posters and art deco styling add to the vintage atmosphere.

Roxy Theatre Uxbridge has always given back to their community. Whether through the amazing Movie, Manicure & Martini night to raise funds for a local charity that is one of my favourites, to my kids growing up with Roxy Kids in Action doing volunteer work around the community, to the most recent Covid-19 opening up for us to by their yummy popcorn for their door. They have an awesome nostalgic theatre too. How many people can say they have a movie theatre owned by such caring people like we do? Thank you Cathy Christoff. From the bottom our our hearts.

My mom and I attended a Film Tour led by Parkwood this weekend. It was so much fun and so well organized! The tour was for one of our favourite shows, The Way Home, which has scenes filmed at Parkwood Estate. The tour took us to filming spots across Durham region and speakers from each municipality would share information about filming in their city/town. We were provided a coach bus, lots of food, and awesome behind the scenes details. People even drove/flew in from the States to attend. It was certainly a day to remember!

Parkwood Estate in Oshawa is a stunning historic venue — every part of the property feels timeless and elegant. The gardens, stone architecture, and natural light make it one of the most beautiful places in Durham Region for proposals, weddings, and portraits. This photo was captured at what many might think is the “back” of the estate, but it’s actually one of the main entrances — and it created the perfect romantic backdrop for a surprise proposal. The photography permit is very reasonable considering the estate’s history and charm, and it’s more affordable than many other venues of this caliber. Beautiful ground with parking but be there early in the morning as it’s busy on the weekends specially during the weekend. There are guided tours or like me I just walk around by myself. Also check if there’s a scheduled events to help your experience. There’s a Tea House/Restaurant and a Gift shop. Also 2 washroom locations, by the gift-shop and just behind the Mansion. The garden is so beautiful and well maintained.

Really beautiful place! Definitely take the tour — there’s so much to explore inside the house. It’s fascinating to see how the wealthy lived in the 1920s, with features that many of our modern homes still don’t have. What stood out most is how, when you have money, everything can be custom-made exactly the way you want it. A must-visit for history, design, and architecture lovers.

The garden & surrounding areas were nice, well maintained; the washrooms clean ! The tea restaurant was just regular, had other expectations like tea in Victorian times ; the website it said you can enter the house, then when we got there found out there is a fee around $20 per person and is only scheduled for certain times; parking was free

This place is truly a hidden gem. We had a lovely afternoon tea & our server Amit was super attentive and charming. Grounds beautiful and so well taken care of. Staff was super friendly, made us feel welcome and thanked us for coming from Hamilton & Niagara. Was truly our pleasure! 🤩 Wonderful experience all around.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the restaurant inside the Great Blue Heron. The food was absolutely worth it—flavorful, warm, and generously portioned. The servings were more than sufficient hat my family and I were able to share, making it even more enjoyable. The plating was well done, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. On top of that, the service was excellent—the staff was incredibly polite, helpful, and welcoming. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend, the only suggestion we have is additional food on the menu if possible.

It smells very musty upon entering, the hotel is very outdated. I understand since this is on a property with a casino the owners may not want to include any amenities, but since this is the only fairly decent hotel in Port Perry that is pet friendly we stayed here. Almost $400 a night, no meals included, no pool, it took a long time for the room to cool down (no air conditioning running when we went in the room) We weren’t interested in the casino; we wanted to visit beautiful Port Perry on our last stop of our week long road trip. Port Perry didn’t disappoint, but this motel did. It’s too bad. They could really take advantage of being a large hotel in a beautiful area.

Clean, beautiful rooms. Comfortable beds and pillows. Friendly staff. Complimentary morning coffee in the Eatery is robust and flavourful. Restaurant in the Casino serves amazing meals - generous portions - delicious.

NO WIFI. good experience, casino entry for ID is an unnecessary interrogation. I’m 36 and Asian, felt targeted just for looking Asian and the other ethnic bodies just walked in. But I had a good time either way. Lots of parking and slot machines were nice. Some table games. No water or drinks in sight. Couldn’t even find a place to signup for the membership. Would only come back really if I’m in the area, it’s very remote.

The room was clean and welcoming. A card and chocolates were left on the bed for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast. The service at the restaurant was impeccable and the food was fantastic. The casino staff were knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend. We will go back on our next trip to Canada!

The hotel is very nice and clean. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. They have a room where you can get coffee for free in the morning. I think they should also offer some orange and apple juice for the none coffee or tea drinkers. The staff are great! As far as the casino goes, it could be better. I don't expect to win, but I would like to be able to play, please.

We visited the Casino. We hadn’t been to it in over a decade. It appears that they’ve renovated since then as the interior looked different from how I remember. Staff was nice, however I felt the casino had a lot of slot machines (which isn’t unusual) and then some blackjack tables. They had two roulette tables, but only one operating. I swear they used to have more. The roulette table was crowded by what looked like regulars. It didn’t feel welcoming or easy access, so I just left. For a 45 min drive to Port Perry, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Great collection of vintage and classic cars! The Canadian Automotive Museum may not be huge, but they’ve done a fantastic job managing the space they have. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into preserving and presenting these vehicles for future generations—and we should be thankful for that. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and it was pleasantly quiet, which gave us time to really enjoy each display. Free parking was a nice bonus too. Admission was very reasonable—just $16 for an adult—and you can easily buy tickets right at the door. There’s also a washroom inside, which is always good to know when visiting with family. If you’re even a little interested in automotive history or just looking for a unique local outing, this place is definitely worth a visit!

A Retro Style Nostalgic Experience , in the heart of Oshawa City, I loved the Collection , The cars in the display were definitely taking us to time travel and check the Old Gems more than 100 years old. The Place is a great feast for car Enthusiasts including Kids and Oldies , We know that Canada has a wonderful history Automotive Industry , This place definitely do justice to it , I want all visitors to spread the words about this place so that It can be well maintained and attract more attention ....I will visit This time to time , I have to see my love Lighting McQueen !!

This is a very distinctive car museum, especially suitable for children who like cars. We saw a one-to-one McQueen here. The parking lot next to the museum is also very convenient, and it is worth recommending everyone to come and play!

As a car enthusiast and from the land down under (Australia) I travelled far and wide to visit this place. There are some beautifully preserved and presented vehicles to admire and read about. While the cars are tightly packed in some places , this museum could do with some extra space. However I enjoyed looking and admiring at the Canadian Automotive Museum’s history and knowledge. Allow an hour or two to take in all that it has to offer.

See the first hybrid gas electric vehicle, back to the future car and others. Adults $16 Street parking. Expect to spend about 2 hours inside. Non profit and great for the community.

Nice muséum with a good diversity of Canadian vehicles. From firsts Canadian carts to Bugatti type 35, going by Flash McQueen, y9u will be able to see and learn about a large variety of historic cars. I also really enjoyed the brochures available at the end of the visit. Thanks

I loved this museum. It's worth a visit. The gearhead and those interested in 20th century Canadian history will appreciate it. The museum is located in beautiful downtown Oshawa, in an historic commercial building. There's free parking on site, as well as metered street parking in front. Entrance fees are very reasonable. The first floor has many first rate, rare and expensive collectible cars, including Lester Pearson's custom Buick staff car, and the exquisite 1914 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost, driven by Prince Edward ( not the current one, the King Edward VIII one) during his 1919 debauched jaunts around Montreal. Additionally there's rare treasures like a 1930s Bugatti race car, a Packard Twin-Six, and an aluminum classic blower-Bentley. The upper level has a mix of more ordinary cars plus some rare gems like a early Chevrolet converted to snow use, a friction drive CarterCar, a Brooks Steam car, and Canada's earliest existing electric car. Or, more precisely, the remains of it. One of the features of this museum is many cars are unrestored. They're displayed with the accumulated wear, use, dents and patina accumulated in their actual useful existence, decades or even a century ago This adds authenticity and realism to the displays. Of particular interest is their life-size diorama of a barn -find Buick. This museum is worth a visit, even if you've been there in the past. I last visited in the 1990s, but I found many cars on display weren't present back then. A visit takes about 1 to 2 hours to take everything in. There's some opportunities for better displays. They have both a DeLorean AND a Bricklin, two completely unrelated but very similar cars, in their history, engineering, development and marketing. They're missing a huge opportunity by not displaying them side-by -side with a comparative analysis of their circumstances. Such a display would be a real standout, especially given that the DeLorean is popular, but few people remember Canada's own Bricklin. Otherwise the museum is well done.

I had a fantastic experience at the Our Lady Peace concert! The venue itself was well-organized, with a smooth and efficient operation of both security and staff, which contributed to a positive overall experience. While the sound quality was decent for a hockey arena, the atmosphere was truly elevated by the energy of the crowd. It was vibrant and full of life. However, I did feel a bit let down at times when Raine Maida seemed to avoid hitting some of the higher notes. Despite this, his unique voice and impressive songwriting continue to be a significant part of the band's success, and it was evident throughout the performance.

It’s my first time for monster truck, and it’s a wonderful experience. The only problem is this arena is an indoor environment, so the noise would be way louder than I expected. If you come here for monster truck, you’ve better get your earplugs.

Excellent facility! 2 Ice Pads, best mens recreational hockey league in Durham Region. Not a lot of nonsense on the ice with most needing to work the next day. Also home to the Oshawa Generals OHL hockey club. Great concert events. Whether its recreational hockey, competitive hockey, or a great concert venue this place has something for everyone.

Great place. Brought my kids to an Oshawa Generals game and they loved it! Would definitely recommend. One of the staff members Tyler was very nice and helped us find our seat. Cashiers were friendly with my kids which made them so happy!

We saw Lynyrd Skynrd here Sept 25. The sound was terrible. 4th time seeing them, always good. Not this time. Quite a low ceiling for a hockey rink. Very little parking available, but no fee after 6pm on the streets.

Amazing place for a night of family fun at the Gens game! Cash and cards are accepted as payment which was great. Not all vendors accepted cards, so it is good to take some cash. There is a bank machine if needed. Clean venue and friendly staff. Someone always willing to help if you needed to find your seats.

Cute historical theater small but bigger on feelings and love of movies. I would argue better than the name brand theater's and their prices for admission and popcorn combos. Friendly respectful employees, 10 out 10 will be back again and again.

This theater is great! So quaint and cute. I love the old style. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and the snacks are average for a theater (small popcorn was $5.00, medium popcorn was $7.00, large popcorn was $8.00, there are snacks/drinks to be purchased and a combo). This place is definitely dated and in need of renos, especially to the ceiling. However, for a little town like Lindsay, it's cute and a great addition to the downtown!

One of a kind theatre! So glad we chose it on our trip to Lindsay. We were debating between the cineplex in Peterborough or the Century Theatre. We decided on this small town oldie to watch Goosebumps 2 and couldn’t have been more happy! It’s such a gem. You seem to step back in time when you walk in the door. The 70’s era is alive and well here with bright upbeat colours, old displays, and vintage-looking advertisements. It’s clean, has comfortable seating, and the movie volume doesn’t deafen you. The staff is also friendly and snacks are reasonably priced. We cannot wait to go back!

This is definitely an old time theater as is the hvac system. I thought I was gonna die of heat stroke while watching top gun maverick. All the seats are below screen level so your looking up at the screen but the price for admission is good and there's no lineup.

An unforgettable experience at Jungle Cat World! This place is absolutely amazing and brought so much joy to my son Samy, memories that will last a lifetime. Samy has a rare genetic disorder, and the generosity, kindness, and warmth shown by everyone here truly touched our hearts. A huge thank you to Candice, who made our Behind the Scenes experience so special ; her passion and care for the animals (and for people) shines through in everything she does. And to Kory, whose big heart and kindness in the office made us feel so welcome from the very start. The whole team is genuine, caring, and full of love for what they do. The Behind the Scenes experience was simply magical we got to feed lions, pet a wolf, hug a fox, and feed lemurs! My kids got plush animals from the souvenir shop that they’ve been hugging nonstop they’re already inseparable with them ❤️ We can’t recommend Jungle Cat World enough. It’s more than a zoo, it’s a place full of heart. We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying at the on-site lodge, especially since guests can visit the park after hours and see how the animals are at night. A must-try for families and animal lovers! 🐾

We had such an amazing time, the behind the scenes experience was a dream come true! If you're looking for a fancy zoo, this is not the place for you. BUT if you are looking for a place where you can tell the people love their jobs and the animals they work with this is the place. You get up close with the animals without spending a fortune. You don't have to hope you will see the animals because they are right there, they even have animals just walking around like Mikey the donkey and beautiful peacocks. This place is definitely a hidden treasure. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a different kind of animal experience.

Had a blast with the kids! We got to watch the lions and wolves be fed, interact with the free roaming alpacas and donkey, and the bunnies were asking for pets. The peahen and chicks were shy but still came around. The playground was a lot of fun for the kids. The food there was good and well priced. I would highly suggest a visit.

Friendly, helpful staff and the zookeepers feeding the animals were informative and entertaining. They mentioned they act as a sanctuary to accept any animals which other zoos did not plan to have and cannot accommodate. Can bring in your own food and drinks hut don’t feed them to the animals. Lots of shaded benches to sit and eat. There are tiki umbrellas providing shade for the tables outside the restaurant. Also there are many tables and chairs in the area next to the restaurant in the covered area. Enclosed areas are small for the large lions, tigers, pumas, etc. but animals looked healthy. Peacocks, ducks, geese, alpacas roam free around the zoo. Can buy food to feed the birds and alpacas. Fun playground for kids with climbing structures, mountain with tunnels, slide and squeaky, vintage metal teeter totters.

This past weekend we visited Jungle Cat World for a behind the scenes experience. My father and son participated while my daughter and I followed along and explored the rest of the zoo. The staff were INCREDIBLE in making sure we felt welcomed and educated on the experience we had paid for. The tour guides were exceptional!! They helped to take a ton of photos so my dad and son have memories to share and show the rest of our family. It was so much fun, and a highly recommended gift to give someone!! We picked any 3 of the massive list of animals they had, and the staff were more than accommodating if we wanted to change our minds the day-of. We will definitely be back, especially for another behind the scenes.

Such a cool place to visit! We went today and it was way bigger than expected, the artworks were so beautiful and they had the coolest shop filled with so many different things to buy! We're definitely coming back to visit.

This store is simply incredible, whether in person or shopping on line it is a must for shoppers looking to buy anything indigenous in a good way and with reciprocity. As an ally it is really important to me to know I am purchasing and supporting indigenous artisans. Whetungs carries a wide array of artists, and products. From bead work jewelry, quill work, wood work, clothing, shoes, ribbon skirts and shirts in all sizes, ceremonial items, sacred medicines, and so much more. It’s an amazing place run by local curve lake First Nation people.

September 14, 2024 recently visited Whetung Ojibwa Centre after a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Pickering. We spent over two hours exploring the center, which features a stunning collection of Indigenous crafts, including dreamcatchers, jewelry, moccasins, paintings, and much more. The center also offers a museum, totem poles, and sculptures that provide insight into the Curve Lake First Nation and other Indigenous groups across Canada. One of the highlights for me was the beautiful selection of crystals, accompanied by a detailed guidebook. I ended up purchasing a bear claw, three Every Child Matters t-shirts designed by Freddy Taylor, a Residential School Survivor and Curve Lake First Nation member, along with some candy sticks for my kids. My friend gifted me a gorgeous porcelain mug featuring a design by artist Leah Marie Dorion, symbolizing the "Breath of Life"—a reminder that our breath is sacred and our words carry the power to impact the world positively. If you're looking for a peaceful and enriching day trip filled with beauty, positivity, and a deeper appreciation for life, I highly recommend visiting Whetung Ojibwa Centre. A quaint theater in the very pretty town of Port Hope. The staff are extremely patient, helpful & friendly! Inside the theater is decorated beautifully, washrooms are easily accessible & the seats are very comfy! Only negative point would be that there was no intermission for the hour & a half show which can prove to be challenging for little ones & seniors. Check their website for upcoming shows!

What a hidden gem! I've seen a few plays here now, and they are top-notch quality. The set designs are incredible. This theatre is quite nice and there are no bad seats. The actors have a long list of credits, and we're amazing. Overall, I'd say Toronto Mirvish theatre quality for half the price. Worth the drive!

I watched the final performance of Waitress here, and it was amazing. From the set, to the cast, to the singing/sound technicians. It was amazing! I have spent a lot more money Downtown Toronto ($100+) and had a lot less fun. Lol I can't wait to come back! Community Theatres are kinda a hidden gem. I have a feeling you won't regret trying them out.

Capitol Atmospheric Theatre is so beautiful. The sky around the ceiling moves. One of three in North America. Very unique.

What a wonderful experience. We were celebrating some special birthdays within my family, came to see a phenomenal show. The staff and volunteers are friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. The Actor's in the performance were above and beyond, talented. Wonderful! Place to visit and see a phenomenal production.

The park is amazing for a day out with family. The kids play area has different sections for different age groups. The splash pad is also very nice for the kids to enjoy. The zoo area is great with a lot of animals to see. I had never seen a sloth before. The parking and zoo are free here. They do accept donations though. All in all a great place to see a lot of things and relax in the park.

I really enjoyed my visit to the Peterborough Zoo. It’s such a nice place to spend a few hours, and the best part is that it’s free to enter. The zoo is not huge, but it has a really good variety of animals, and everything is well looked after. The enclosures are clean, and you can tell the staff care about the animals. My favorite part was watching the monkeys and the big cats – they were so fun to see up close. The walking paths are easy to follow, and there’s plenty of space to just relax and enjoy nature. It’s also a great place for kids, with the playground and picnic areas making it feel more like a family park than just a zoo. Parking was easy, and the whole place felt safe and welcoming. Overall, it’s a hidden gem in Peterborough and definitely worth visiting.

Riverview Park and Zoo is such a great spot, and the best part is that it’s completely free! The zoo itself is pretty good with a nice variety of animals, but what really stood out for us were the kids’ play areas. They’re awesome — lots of space to run around and different structures to explore. My 3-year-old especially loved the long slide, which quickly became the highlight of our visit. It’s a perfect family outing spot with a good mix of animals, green space, and fun for the kids. Definitely worth checking out!

This is a great spot to take the younger kids. Our 4yr old grandson enjoyed the animals and then a little play time in the park. They do have a splash zone area as well. There is no fee to enter and enjoy all it had to offer. A couple public washroom areas however the line up were a turn off. One suggestion if I could offer is to have the screening windows cleaned maybe more often throughout the day. We really had no contact with staff . You are basically on your own . I do recommend it for the kids as it gives plenty of options to entertain them!

Nice park and zoo in Peterborough. Perfect place to bring your kids and family. There are kids play area, water splash pad, zoo and ample parking. Lots of picnic tables as well if you plan to have lunch or dinner after some exciting moment with your kids. This park also has a free zoo with lot of animals to see. Kids will love it for sure. Donation to the park is appreciated as they have to maintain everything for free. The park and every place was maintained very well. Everything was clean. The splash pad water was not too cold which was good and convenient for the kids. There is a parking and access area towards the river but the parking was closed when we visited. Overall very pleased and definitely recommended.

Wow, this place is small but so many animals to see. Plus, there is a train ride. That ride was closed today but we will make sure to go again, the following year. And the animals are so cute. There's otters, camals, sloths, llamas, ducks, snakes, just to name a few. There's a splash pad, play area for the kids, not too much walking. Plenty of pinic areas. The size is really good. Will go again.

It’s rare to find a place like this where you can see animals, let the kids play, and enjoy a relaxing picnic—all without an entrance fee. An awesome museum worth every minute! It's amazing to see such a great collection of canoes through history - ones from famous stories, famous people, and monumental events. Learng about canoe culture is particularly interesting seeing as I'm a travelling Australian. Go check it out.

We loved the tour! It's easy to spend about 2 hours in their stunning new home. With about 100 canoes on display and another 1000 or so in storage, there is alot to see. The history, the craftsmanship, the variety, the stories of the original owners and their adventures add up to a uniquely Canadian experience, well worth a visit!

Beautiful new museum and exhibit overlooking Little Lake in Peterborough! Very comfortable and chill atmosphere. Took the afternoon tour with the kids and felt like they were able to get a lot more out of the exhibit. Very kid friendly with video, listening stations, scavenger hunt, and drawing pages.

Darn! What a nice museum here in Peterborough Ontario. I found out afterwards that this town was the birthplace so to speak of the canoe. So it’s no wonder the Canoe Museum is here in Peterborough. It’s such a nice museum and lots of facts and figures to explore throughout. The only gripe I have is that I thought the price was maybe a little much for what they have but honestly it is worth it if you want to learn the history of the canoe. 👍😎

I really wanted to love this place. With a really curious mind who can be interested in almost anything and a love of canoes (been canoeing since I was 8 years old and own my own cedar-strip canoe built for me), I still found the exhibits pretty dry and the labeling not engaging. The best part of my visit was seeing the canoe vault.

Fascinating museum showcasing both the mastery and beauty of the canoe, but the history of the indigenous peoples and their journeys. Also an astounding piece of architecture, using natural materials to perfection.

I recently visited the Peterborough Lift Lock, and it was a fascinating experience. The surrounding park is perfect for a picnic, and the nearby visitor center offers informative exhibits and a short film about the Trent-Severn Waterway. Climbing the stairs to the top provides a panoramic view of the area, making it a must-see spot for anyone in the region

A beautiful structure and fun place to be at the annual paddle and lock event in July! Would come again but maybe in a canoe or a comfortable kayak (not a playboat kr white water kayak) as you may be sitting in this for 3-4 hours (specifically for the paddle lock event) depending on crowd sizes and line ups to get up and down the lock!

Really cool place to see but the visitor center was closed when we arrived. The scale of the lift is not obvious until you are up close. You can walk to the lock and go up the stairs to see it from the top. All in all, with the history of has, worth the visit.

We had such a wonderful day at Cobourg Beach! The weather was absolutely perfect — sunny, warm, and with just the right breeze coming off the lake. The beach itself was clean, well maintained, and very family-friendly, which made it an ideal spot for a relaxing day outdoors. The sand was soft and golden, perfect for walking barefoot or building sandcastles. The water was clear and refreshing, and it stayed shallow enough near the shore for the kids to play safely for hours. They had an amazing time running around, splashing in the waves, and making new friends. There were plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the view, whether you wanted to spread out a blanket, set up chairs, or just stroll along the shoreline. The atmosphere felt peaceful yet lively — families, couples, and groups all enjoying the sunshine without it ever feeling too crowded. We also appreciated how clean and well-kept everything was, from the beach itself to the nearby restrooms and picnic areas. Parking was easy to find, and local cafes and ice cream shops nearby added to the experience — perfect for a quick bite after swimming. Overall, Cobourg Beach is a beautiful, welcoming place for families and anyone who loves the lake. We’ll definitely be coming back soon — it’s one of those places that leaves you smiling long after you’ve left.

Nice beach downtown Cobourg. The sand is soft and brown. Beach is very clean. Parking is just beside. It's 5$ / hour. Water is a bit cold, very nice place for young kids. We were there for the weekend. The marina is just on the other side. Also there is a camping site just behind the beach. You can easily go grab something to eat from a restaurant nearby, in a easily walkable lap of time.

Visited here recently for the first time and my kids had a blast. They loved the clear shallow water and clean sand. There is also a park and splash pad to enjoy and wash the sand off. However the water does seem to shut off early in the evening. There's a convenient path for wheelchairs or stroller. My kids say this is their new favourite beach!

For those looking to escape downtown and explore other cities near Toronto and beyond, Cobourg Beach is a great option. The city is about an hour and 20 minutes from Toronto, and has a good road network. There are many paid parking options, but they're all very busy. There are also paid street parking spaces, which are also very busy, so you might have to drive around for a few minutes to find a spot if you're looking for something closer to the beach. Parking usually costs $40 Canadian dollars for 8 hours. Dogs are not allowed on the beach, and there are signs warning you of this, so be aware. Barbecuing is not allowed on the beach; there are camping and parking areas for that; read the instructions on the city website. There are some public restrooms scattered throughout the city, but depending on the time of day, they can unfortunately get quite dirty. The beach restroom has changing tables. The city has many restaurants and tourist attractions, such as the city hall. For those who prefer to stay farther from the main beach entrance, pay attention to the signs indicating a reserved beach or residential area, as homeowners are always there to point this out (I don't know how the law works, but it's good to know). For visitors with disabilities, the parking lots near the beach have designated spaces for those with disabilities. The beach path has a rubberized surface for wheelchairs, canes, and walkers. It's worth a visit, as well as the small waves and crystal-clear water.

This beach has only gotten better over the years! It’s surprisingly clean despite the numerous visitors… we did not notice any litter. Even the porta potties are clean. And even with so many people enjoying the beach, it never felt crowded or chaotic. Police and ambulance are on sight. The sand on the beach is so soft, and there is no seaweed along the shore. There are plenty of food trucks on site now, and they even have bouncy castles! The splash pad was a hit for our little guy, and the two little playgrounds also provide added amusement for kids. Definitely worth the drive from Toronto—we will happily visit here again!

A beautiful and peaceful beach in Ontario, perfect for a relaxing day. The water is clean, the sandy shore is soft, and it’s great for swimming on warm sunny days. Right next to the beach is Victoria Park — a large green space with plenty of picnic areas, a splash pad, and children’s playgrounds. There’s also a wide, scenic boardwalk by the harbour that’s perfect for walking or just enjoying the view. Highly recommended for families, couples, or solo visitors during the summer!
