Always a pleasure to stop in at Noble Ridge for Wine Tasting - A great spot to enjoy a picnic lunch, with a bottle of your choice - Natalie was/is always an excellent Host !!!
David H — Google review
Noble Ridge provides a beautiful setting for their wine tastings. Had a great time with my family here. The staff were super friendly and knowledgable. The wine was a bit hit or miss for me, but I appreciated that they still include the tasting fee in a purchase, and bought a couple bottles that we enjoyed during the tasting.
Gurv — Google review
Loved our visit here. Stellar setting - one of the BEST in BC's wine country. Karen was an utter delight, sharing interesting info not only about the wines, but vines, Africa, and many other topics. We most enjoyed The Fizzy One and brought a couple home. Great that they waive the tasting fee with purchase. Don't miss the self-serve fridge of wines, other beverages, and cheeses - yum. Make sure you walk through the vines to see those gorgeous grapes up close.
Munro S — Google review
We have been to many wineries. This one rates very high among them We had a lovely visit with the very knowledgeable server yesterday. The wines were very good and reasonably priced. The tasting was, not seated, but was on their patio with one of the most fabulous views. Highly recommend this winery.
Laurie D — Google review
Group of 4 of us showed up and they were busy, but able to accommodate us inside at the bar which we appreciated. Our server started off by explaining that the tasting had a fee, but would be waived with purchase (standard). She then added that there was absolutely no pressure to buy. Tasting started off alright, but when our group said we would skip the rose wine as we all aren’t fans, the server insisted we “live a little” and try it. Weird, but ok. As we moved to the red wines, she said we were going to play a game where 2 people get one of the reds, the other 2 people get another, and we were going to switch and see which one we liked better. “Switching” meant sharing glasses, not each of us getting our own pour of each of the wines. Weirder, and by then we were starting to wonder about this place. Finished our tasting and we decided to buy one bottle amongst our group, for a shared dinner we were having. Our server was visibly dumbfounded and made a comment about why we would only buy one bottle, clearly not upholding the no pressure comment she made earlier in our tasting. A very negative experience and we won’t be back, or recommending it to others.
Kim H — Google review
My sister-in-law organized a private tasting in the Noble Premium Lounge and everyone raved about the wine and our wine expert Preston Radford. It was fun, educational and delicious!
Bernice M — Google review
The wine expert radiated a genuine passion, taking the time to provide intricate and heartfelt descriptions for each exquisite wine. The winery's picturesque surroundings are truly enchanting, enhanced by the delightful option for summer picnics. A return visit is not just recommended; it's a beckoning invitation to relish the beauty and warmth of this exceptional place once more.
Foodie V — Google review
Hands down the vineyard with the most gorgeous views in the Okanagan falls region. Special shout out to Rocky for being an excellent host during our wine tasting experience with a deep passion and understanding of the heritage at Noble Ridge. Great history on the vines here and the exquisite selection of reds and whites that are incredibly smooth and earthy and buttery. The expansion of their facility and the fully booked wine club is a testament of their quality of wine. Highly recommend a stop here and hope they have a kitchen here in the future.

See Ya Later Ranch is a centuries-old winery located high on Hawthorne Mountain, offering a homey and cozy atmosphere with an off-the-grid feel. The staff are known for being extremely knowledgeable and personable, providing a welcoming experience for both wine novices and veterans. The winery is also dog-friendly, making it a great stop for pet owners traveling in the area. Visitors can expect beautiful views and great value wines at this picturesque location in the Okanagan Valley.
We had a really nice relaxing time. I ordered the wrong wine and the server said no problem and brought me another glass. The charcuterie board was perfect to share and the staff was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I love it there.
Hilda V — Google review
One of our old reliable favs. New tasting room, just opened in August, with stellar views. Primrose was a delight, and the wines were lovely, particularly the black label and Jimmy My Pal. The 'dog' branding is a sweet bonus.
Munro S — Google review
We had our micro-wedding on September 10 and the entire process was effortless thanks to Tara and her staff! The recommended vendors were professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They all guided me through the planning and were very attentive. I couldn’t have done it without them. Everyone had a brilliant time, including 4 dogs! The food was amazing and my special requests were flawless!
Bernice M — Google review
Just underwhelming all around! Server brought is the wine but no glasses, we had to go get some after 5 min of waiting. The charcuterie board was basic at best. I don’t want to pay $30 and get saltine crackers on the board and basic cheddar cheese that looks like my 4 yr old grandson cut. Just not elevated at all! Server never checked in, no napkins at all so we used the blankets that were provided unfortunately. Definitely not this places norm that’s for sure!! 5/10
Aimee — Google review
What a beautiful winery! We were guests here for a wonderful evening that was an evening to remember. The staff and hosts were delightful and friendly, and the guest wineries that were showcasing their wines were all pleasant and knowledgeable. The wines were great and it was definitely a place we will come back to.
Robert G — Google review
2025 tasting room rebuild. Very nice. Scenic location. Beautiful views. Dog friendly.
Colleen F — Google review
Spent a nice afternoon at this winery. We tried a few different wines and all of them were excellent. Small menu selection but the food was great. The service was attentive and accommodating, while the atmosphere was wam and inviting. The view from the gazebo is also beautiful. Highly recommended if you're looking for a winery in the Okanagan Valley.

Absolutely a joy every time we come to visit. The wine is incredible, the food is delicious and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We had a lovely experience as always, and can't wait to come back. Shout out to Darren(?), our server who was just fantastic. Thanks for another top tier experience.
Courtney T — Google review
It’s not -only- the Autumn Gold that draws people to Wine Tasting here !!! Thanks for your great care & attention to our group, Steve !!!
David H — Google review
Loved this place! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm welcome (and a few jokes). As an all-around wine drinker along with a non-red drinker, the wines we tasted were delicious and right up our alley. The first half of the tasting was very informative, but the second half felt a little flat. There weren’t any descriptions of the wines, tasting notes, or production details shared. To be fair, there was a photoshoot happening behind us, which may have been distracting for the staff by that time. Overall, that did not take away from our experience—we still enjoyed our time here, and even took home a few bottles! We'll definitely be back and will be reccomending Wild Goose as a stop.
Darrin D — Google review
Their patio is just lovely with views of mountains and vineyards. Of course, their wine is delicious. I bought home their specialty wines as they taste unique flavors of sweetness. The laddies working on the morning of October 1st are as lovely as the views and wines.
Thinh N — Google review
We decided to come to Wild Goose today for a tasting and check out their new bistro. Thanks to Darren for a lovely wine tasting and thanks Steve for accommodating us for lunch. Delicious food, beautiful wine paired with a fantastic view. If you’re in the area stop by Wild Goose.

We visited during the autumn fest 2024. They did a good job decorating the place. Beautiful flowers, nice grist mill. There are so many kinds of apples in their garden. Local people seem to enjoy the festival activities. There's a very limited choice of food though.
Linh T — Google review
We had a lovely visit. Our guide, who is also the owner, was wel versed in the Grist Mill and its history. He provided a nice tour and kept us all entertained with his wit and charm. We prearranged sandwiches for our large group and although we waited for a bit to receive them at the table they were filling and very good.
Scott C — Google review
Hidden gem with loads of restored history. Knowledgeable volunteers enhance the experience and they even occasionally have period cooking and baking to taste. The grounds are beautifully groomed and maintained for leisurely enjoyment. The souvenir shop is full of local preserves and treats, will come back again when in town!
Damaris K — Google review
Very enjoyable to see a actual mill and it's inner workings. It is also set on a beautiful location along, of course, a creek! This place has much more to offer than just a step back in time. They also have a lovely restaurant where they craft very fine, locally sourced cuisine. What a pleasure it is to be around such friendly, helpful staff. I can't wait to go back!
Dean D — Google review
It was a fabulous experience to visit this historic site. To learn the history of the still working mill and property I recommend everyone stop in on their way through Keremeos. The staff is friendly, engaging and share so much history in our conversations. The kitchen on site cooks recipies from it's early years.
Trish M — Google review
Awesome place. Shout out to young man in the mill for detailed explanation
Mark F — Google review
Such a hidden gem! A living museum really takes you back in time. The volunteers are so knowledgeable and friendly, well worth the small price of admission. Tasted Woodford oven baked zucchini bread. Apricots right off the tree. And little gift shop with restaurant is fabulous.
Ingeborg K — Google review
Such an incredible place to visit and learn so much about our local history. Stunning space, beautiful gardens, helpful staff. Loads of room for kids to run around. I will definitely be returning as much as possible.

Great fruit selection with great prices and very good quality. A bunch of other things to buy like honey, drinks, jerky, snacks, kombucha, samosas, hot dogs, ice cream. Large store with lots to see and look around
Sarah G — Google review
Stopped here every summer as kid with my parents. This was my dad’s go to fruit stand! Sadly, over the years, it appears to be in need of TLC. The store, veggies and squash didn’t look as good as they used to, so I worried how long they’d last and taste. I hope my review reminds them how loved their stand is and that perhaps it might be able to get some updates to improve its game again. It’s always a fun sight and stop for tourists!

Michelle D — Google review

Mark F — Google review
Great fruit, veg, and selection of local products. They have a great fall display every year and tons of fabulous pumpkins to choose from.
Justine L — Google review
Run by the nicest Latin American immigrants. Prices are the best for peaches, pears and tomatoes. So much good stuff here, and ellos hablan Español tambien. ¡Mucho gusto! Disclosure: I went here first because of the review where the foreign visitor found acts of kindness. This speaks well of them, and I support them!
Gloria Z — Google review
One of my favourite fruit stand stops with wonderful selection of local fruits in season, apples, peaches, pears and cherries.
Jack W — Google review
Origins of fruit and veg not labeled, which I found suss. Apricots were a bit off, peaches will have to ripen quite a while, rock hard. First stand you see when you're coming from the west but there's many, many more.

The Book Shop

Sights & Landmarks
The Book Shop in Penticton is a massive used bookstore, spanning over 5000 square feet and offering an extensive collection of books, including out-of-print editions and rare finds. It's considered one of the largest used bookstores in Canada, with floor-to-ceiling displays covering various subjects like sports, photography, fashion, and travel. The store's layout creates a maze-like experience filled with literary treasures waiting to be discovered around every corner.
I emailed The Book Shop asking if they had an online inventory (they did not) and offered shipping (they do) and so to accomodate me, Tavis then spent the next long while patiently taking pictures of the spines of books of several different areas of interest and then provided a price list for every title I saw of interest (and I threw a lot of these at her!). Not only was the service extremely accomdating, friendly, and beyond helpful, but the product that arrived would be hard to beat! The books were all in like new, beautiful condition and they were also by far the BEST packed parcel of books I have ever recieved (and I've gotten LOTS!) ! Many thanks to Tavis and The Book Shop for all the time and effort and I look fowrard to doing it again!!
Steff R — Google review
Whenever I make it Penticton, The Book Shop is always on my list for places to visit. I never leave without finding a treasure or two to add to my collection. Everyone is so friendly whenever I need a hand with finding a book or when checking out.
Jolene M — Google review
I love the concept, but not sure on the execution. I have worked in similar used bookstores but at about half the size. Its hard not to get overwhelmed with books and honestly seems like someone might cause a book avalanche just moving through the stacks. I also had about a dozen older but popular enough books in mind. It took a long time to locate where the books *would* be, even with staff help, but also were not available. If you were just looking to fill your library with a concept it would be a good stop, but any specific topic or book series might be hard to research/find here.
Jeannie — Google review
My favorite place to go. Had a crummy experience 2 weekends ago. Older lady was basically refusing to help me find any books and look at my want list. Younger girl who usually helps me stepped up as usual and found a handful of my wish list. The younger girls here are always so helpful and amazing.
Amanda — Google review
Perhaps I shouldn't have read the reviews before going to The Book Shop but I was disappointed. I found it smaller than expected. Some sections did not boast as much as I hoped for. We bought a book for our daughter but didn't scan the end pages. On reading it in the car, we noticed 10 pages were torn. Should do a better job of reviewing the condition of the books.
Chad D — Google review
Best selection of used books. An unique experience feeling like you are stepping into a story book or studio Ghibli universe. Books stacked everywhere you can look. Being able to trade in your old books for store credit is a wonderful way to keep the reading habit going.
Jewel Z — Google review
Amazing. Many books, many sections, well organised. I left buying lots of books…
Philip K — Google review
This is a cute second hand book store. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I was look for, but the staff were friendly and very helpful. I honestly could spend hours and a lot of money in this store.

Thank you for your friendly, inviting, and patient welcome. The staff helped above and beyond , answering every question in explicit detail, taking the time to really help. That was so much appreciated, and I'll be back when I need some more hiking advice. Thanks!
Mandy E — Google review
We cycled out purposefully to find out about wine tours. It was challenging to get the information we wanted. One would think that at a place like this you would get advice tailored to your desires. Not so much. And when I told the fellow that I had almost cut myself on some broken glass outside he seemed to take a very nonchallant attitude. We ended up just going on our own - self guided touring. Actually, the best way to tour the vineyards, I think, is to take a bicycle on the trails! That was amazing!!!

LocoLanding Adventure Park is a family-owned amusement park in Penticton that offers a wide range of activities for all ages. From go-karts and an 18-hole mini-golf course to bumper boats, high-level ropes courses, and inflatable games, there's something for everyone. The park also features unique attractions like Monkey Motion and Aeroball, providing endless entertainment for families.
Loco landing, an iconic park! So many things they offer now: -mini golf -monkey jumpers -bumper boats -go karts -rockwall -r/c boats -ropes course Prices are fair, fun for younger and older kids. Not a lot of shade available but they have misting stations around as well as a small concession with ice cream and cold drinks.
Meghan — Google review
We had a great time. It's a well laid out park; everything is close together but spacious that each activity isn't on top of the other. It was very quiet when we went so the kids had free rin of the park, no lines for anything. But I could see it being very busy. Definitely worth checking out with kids. The stuff were all friendly and helpful.
Kelly H — Google review
We stumbled upon LocoLanding Adventure Park while killing time in Penticton, and it ended up being the perfect spot for our kids to burn off some energy after an afternoon of wine tasting for the parents! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and there were so many fun activities to choose from. Our kids especially loved the bumper boats and go-karts—they didn’t want to leave! A fantastic family-friendly spot that we’re glad we found. Highly recommend if you’re in the area with kids!
Davin G — Google review
LocoLanding Adventure park is a decent option for Penticton. We found the park to be clean and offered some nice attractions like bumper boats with water sprayers. Cons: - no water misting units to keep guests cool with 30degC weather - long line up for the high ropes course and after you got harnessed up, the lanyards are attached to a 1-way line which means you can only go 1-way. The staff stayed on the ground while young children were not following these 1-way paths which caused bottlenecks. There is no time limit either, which made the lineup longer. - small pools of water in the large bouncy house that is open to air and got wet during the rainstorm the previous day which meant the kids' socks got soaked - unenthusiastic, young staff. None were rude, but most acted like they didn't want to be there. - only 1 staff member at the attractions booth when there should be at least 2 or have a kiosk where we can buy more attraction tickets Overall, we probably won't return to LocoLanding and will pick the beach or channel to float down instead.
D M — Google review
Just a great way to spend the day. Bumper boats, mini golf, giant bounce house, sky course, go karts, rock wall, and fun bouncy thingy. Prices might seem a little high at first, but you gotta remember it's based on spending the whole day there
Kevin A — Google review
This place was a lot of fun for my family and child. The pricing seemed fair and there was multiple activities to make it a day of fun. If you have children and you’re in the Penticton area I think it’s worth a stop.
Olim82 — Google review
We mini golfed. Everything was good: staff, parking, location, and the cool layout of the course in general. I'm picky about the hole layouts and here, it seems like there was no attention given to the way the holes actually play. Lots of strange starts, no tee mats, and lots of unused areas on each hole.

The SS Sicamous Marine Heritage Society is a must-visit destination in Penticton, stretching along Lake Okanagan. The beautiful promenade offers various activities such as walking, biking, and rollerblading. Free parking is available but can be competitive during the summer. Starting at the skatepark near Loco Landing Adventure Park and continuing past the SS Sicamous allows visitors to explore Okanagan Lake all the way to Penticton Yacht Club and Marina.
While visiting Penticton for a month, I was interested in this museum from reading about it online. I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. It’s a work in progress with many fabulous stories and preserved history on several levels. I especially enjoyed the wedding dress room and the Prince of Wales suite.

Beautifully kept and restored. It does shows the history of Okanagan lake and how it's popularity erupted because of the orchids.

There were no wait lines, admission was affordable, and it was such a unique experience walking through the ship. The highlight was being able to go up to the roof and stand on the captain’s deck—such a cool perspective! Our kids had a blast exploring and picked out some fun souvenirs to remember the visit. A great little gem that’s well worth the stop if you’re in the area!

An unexpected gem! Inexpensive tickets were a no brainer for us to take a peek inside and see what this place had to offer. We were pleasantly surprised by how long we ended up staying and how much we learned about the history of Penticton. My kids loved going around the boat and soaking up the scenic views of the beach nearby. We read a lot of the signs and learned so much - Great place to break between the beach festivities and action park!

We made a special trip to see this museum only to find they were closed for the season. However, as my friend was looking in the window declaring "I see people", they let us and a few others in. This is one of the most interesting museums I have seen so far. You will not be disappointed. Special thank you for allowing us access and also to Chris for the tour of the wheel house.

Great experience! A lot of information throughout the museum with a lot of cool artifacts. Definitely worth the visit!

You can tour the boat for a nominal fee. Well worth it to learn about the history of this boat and the time period it operated in. Crossing the border from Washington state was a bit of an experience.

Excellent visit and well worth the entrance fee. It felt like going into a time warp visiting this historical site. I highly recommend a visit to SS SICAMOUS.

Nestled in the Okanagan Valley, Apex Mountain Resort is a popular destination for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. With over 60 named trails and 1,112 skiable acres, it offers a good mix of terrain including steep chutes. The resort's somewhat remote location keeps crowds at bay, ensuring fresh tracks on powder days.
Great little mountain but beware - there’s only one major lift, plus a smaller lift and a T-bar. Conditions were great the day I went, with groomed runs and small crowds. Would recommend buying a lift ticket pass from Costco to save yourself ~$30.
Viola C — Google review
Great hill, great terrain, and super fast lift lines. The triple chair especially. I have never had more than one person in front of me. Great variety of terrain, with some expert runs plenty of gladed skiing and it is a steep mountain. Ski patrol awesome, my daughter ended up with a spinal compression fracture they took great care of her we have been back many times since.
Matt M — Google review
Hill was more than I was expecting. There were lots of nice steep pitches to keep you entertained. Snows was great, groomers were fast. With lifts in the mid 100s, I'll be hitting Apex up again.
Baret E — Google review
For a skiing area with only 2 chairlifts, the amount of terrain accesed is absolutely huge! It feels more like a larger locals hill, not an international destination resort. The vibe is relaxed, the ticket pricing simple and clear, good steep runs at the top, friendly liftees, old school hand scanned tickets, beatiful views (you can see both Big White and mt Baldy from the top) . Would recommend to ski here for a couple days to try out all the runs.
Tom S — Google review
Nice hill to go to if you are local. Not an easy hill! If you are new to snowsports, this might not be a hill to start on. Mostly groomed runs with lots of powder options.

Awesome rooms, awesome trails. Had a lot of fun definitely would do it again
Thomas G — Google review
We stayed for three nights in December of 2023. We could tell it had lots of potential, unfortunately the weather wasn't great for ski conditions at that point in the season. That said, the rooms in ski in ski out were amazing, the tubing was our favorite and the groomers were phenomenal. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious in the base area restaraunts. I hope to return for another trip with better snow and the skate loop open. *Returned December 2024 and had fun skiing the steeper terrain!
Jack W — Google review
We went up at 3:30 wanting to skate in the loop that was open until 10pm. My boyfriend needed to rent skates and they told us that we could but we needed to return them by 4:00pm or 9am tomorrow. Because the skate loop is open until 10 we assumed there would be a drop box or someplace we could drop the skates off when we were finished with them as we were told on the phone. We travelled 2 hours from lake country to get there and with the lack of misinformation on the website and the cluelessness of the rental shop it was completely disappointing. For an activity that is open until 10pm there should be some sort of service open until then as well. We left extremely dissatisfied and disappointed.

Dirty Laundry Winery

Dirty Laundry Vineyard in Summerland is a down-to-earth and welcoming winery with a fantastic selection of delicious wines. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent, making it a great place to visit. The winery also offers a wonderful patio where visitors can relax and enjoy food and drinks. Additionally, the wine club is worth considering for those who want to access their selections from afar, especially for Calgary residents.
This place is literally fabulous!! The patio is absolutely gorgeous, shaded, great views! The wine is delicious!!! But it is NOT Dog Friendly anymore!! Right now Google labels it dog friendly, so we drove all the way out there just to discover it is not. There is a red umbrella and bench out by the parking lot, with no view, where you can sit with your dogs and the might agree to let you drink your wine there. Make sure you have plans for a cool place for the pups.

We had an amazing time at Dirty Laundry ...the food, the wine & the atmosphere were all top notch. We enjoyed lunch with a view and had a great afternoon. Bob was a super host!!! Definitely worth the trip to Summerland!
Hyundai P — Google review
Our visit was completely lovely from the moment we entered to room. Our tasting host was pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. She managed to host three separate tastings with ease and shared the winery story with the group of us. Her delivery was funny while informative. The winery decor cleverly plays up the dirty laundry theme.
Carol G — Google review
I came up to the Okanagan with a girlfriend and she wanted to visit a winery. Out of all the wineries up here I chose Dirty Laundry for her to visit. I have brought family from Germany here, so I knew she would enjoy this one. The wine tasting was good and for only $6!!! Viktoria was very informative and super friendly, when we were looking to purchase wine she came and asked if we need helping with any of our choices. After we were done wine tasting we sat out on the patio to listen to live music and have some pizza. Oh was the pizza ever good!!! And the views and ambience on the patio were beautiful. When we left my girlfriend said to me, thank you so much for bringing me to this winery, I loved it!! So sounds like my choice of wineries to visit was perfect!

Absolutely incredible place. We arrived on our travels from Ottawa, to find out sadly that no dogs were allowed on the patio. Sherri the Manager was fantastic and found us a spot to accommodate us and Lewis our Golden Doodle. Moreover, she went above and beyond with a bottle of the Vineyards Pinot Gris - gratis. An amazing spot and great customer service Sherri and love the vineyard.

Wow, wuat a hidden gem and concept! Excellent ratings, tastings, wine, atmosphere, pizza and smokehouse. If you wine touring finish here! Smokehouse and pizza are very impressive. Staff excellent and trained, red wines are excellent. We will be back. It's a goto for Summerland wine tastings!

This was our first time, and I'm totally coming back. The pizza was awesome, and the view from the patio was incredible. We had to wait for a table, so we did the wine tasting, and I'm so glad we did. It was fun trying new wines. I can't wait to go back.

Nestled in the picturesque Myra Canyon just a short drive from Kelowna, Myra Canyon Adventure Park offers an array of thrilling activities for visitors of all ages. From rope climbing courses and zip lines to team-building games and specialized physical activities, the park provides endless entertainment. Families can also take advantage of on-site amenities such as BBQs, firepits, and picnic tables for a well-deserved break between adventures.
Awesome experience taking our 12 & 15 year old nephew/niece there for the afternoon! We did the “big kid” high rope adventure course and zip lines. There are 6 different courses to choose from, some very challenging but all do-able! Definitely make time for the zip lines. We spent 3 hours there but it could have been more! Options to buy a few snacks, but I’d recommend packing something. There are places to have a picnic and eat. Washrooms too. There was a chance of rain/thunderstorm when we went and they said they would possibly have to close the course, but luckily they did not as the clouds stayed away. So, check the weather before you go. Owner and staff was very nice, albeit a little lax on safety (these were their words— referring to other staff that didn’t know/enforce some safety rules). Nonetheless it was a great day! Would recommend and return!
A. M — Google review
Overall was a great experience, I wanted to be challenged with the different difficulties they had for courses. Felt like a full body workout but in the most fun way! Had to mentally push myself through the fear, which I thought was cool :). Amazing views of the mountains and the valley, stopped a couple times during courses to take some pictures. Only rated it 4/5 because I thought the zipline part would be more than just 3 short lines. Learned then that this place is definitely obstacle course dominant. Would highly recommend for a good mental booster and workout :).

I took my hiking buddy here on the 8th of August, (did this 6 years ago) we did a lot of adventures but this was another level of adventure for her, she had a blast. What I can recommend is bring gloves to protect your hands from blisters, there's a lot of obstacles, unfortunately 5 were closed cause the tree died but they did put more zip lining to enjoy. Staff were friendly and nice, we had a blast. We wil come back again next year. (From Alberta)

This was by far the best hidden gem no one told us but we just find out in Kelowna... everyone with kids MUST visit this place. I felt like the owner himself don't want to be a millionaire.. 😊no ads .. poor signage and roads.. hats off to the lovely staff..

We attended the Scare Walk for Halloween and let me tell you I have never been so scared in my life!!! It was the best Halloween experience I had, I actually felt like I was in a horror movie….and I don’t get scared easily! The props were great, the walk through the forest was long, and the live actors did a great job scaring the 💩 out of us!
Shab F — Google review
This trail was terrifying! My friend and I screamed the whole way. The staff were incredibly helpful; besides scaring us, they were also very kind and gave us directions. The path was a bit dark, but perfect for Halloween. One of the staff members told us that this haunted park is the scariest in Kelowna. I totally agree! 😂 You definitely have to come here for a unique Halloween experience! 🎃
Sunny — Google review
This place is all about outdoor adventure in the trees. The park has high ropes courses, climbing routes, and zip lines that range from kid-friendly to pretty challenging, so it works well for families or groups with mixed ages. Staff are friendly and safety-focused, which helps if you’re new to this kind of activity. Parking is available on-site and usually straightforward, though it can get busy in peak summer. There aren’t hiking trails or camping here—it’s more of a half-day activity spot rather than a full park experience. No big amenities like washrooms beyond the basics, so plan accordingly. The views of the surrounding canyon are a nice bonus, and it’s close enough to combine with a visit to the Myra Canyon Trestles if you want a full day out.

Summerhill Pyramid Winery

Summerhill Pyramid Winery in Kelowna is a unique winery that stands out due to its iconic pyramid structure. The owners have conducted studies on the effects of geometry on liquids, leading them to build a striking white pyramid. For over 20 years, barrels of wine have been stored inside the pyramid, with blind taste tests revealing that wines aged within it for up to three months exhibit improved aroma and smoothness compared to those aged outside.
We recently visited Summerhill Pyramid Winery and while the experience started with a long wait, it was well worth it in the end. The winery was very busy, even though it wasn’t peak hours be prepared to wait if you are coming for a tasting, as it takes time to serve each party 4–5 glasses and give proper attention to the wine storytelling. Since the indoor tasting area was packed, we were redirected to the gazebo tasting room outside, which had a lovely setting. Still, we had to wait about 30 minutes as 2–3 groups were ahead of us. When it was finally our turn, we were served by the manager, Daniel (if I recall the name right), and he was absolutely fantastic. Despite being pulled in every direction, Daniel remained calm, warm, and engaging. He didn’t rush us at all he explained each wine thoughtfully, poured generously, and made the whole experience enjoyable and educational. He also didn’t pressure us to make any purchases, which we appreciated. In the end, we left with several bottles and a box of wine, including a few delicious ice wines. The wait was long, but the customer service and quality of wine made it worth it. Pro tip: If you’re planning a visit, try to arrive early in the day or on a weekday to avoid the peak crowd

There is a beautiful view, a large parking lot. There is a restaurant and a shop where wine is sold, there is a very beautiful interior and polite staff. But the prices seem too high to me. Although there were a lot of people, several buses with tourists from Asia.

Mix feelings about this one. Definitely one of the best views in town. The food was good but quite expensive. Unfortunately, as it is a winery, the wines did not impress me. Located only a few minutes from downtown Kelowna, you'll find a huge, heated terrace overlooking lake Okanagan, perfect to watch the sunset. You cannot beat that. Inside decor is... a tad weird. Not sure what is going on with all the sculptures and pyramid references? We started with a wine tasting. They know their product but, except for their version of a champagne, I did not find anything of interest. The food was a redemption, I must say. Our server was sweet, and we had overall a great night. It is just so expensive for what it is. I guess you pay for the views? I've been told it's a very popular place, but we went on a Friday, and we were maybe nine people total, and our group counted for six. Oh well.
Katerine G — Google review
This place offers great views and good photo ops while you visit this winery. Famous for its pyramid cellar, they offer a broad selection of whites, reds, sparklings, and ice wines. They can offer you a tasting of their product free of charge provided you buy a bottle. Additional wine tasting options and a winery tour is optional by reservations.
Charlie C — Google review
Me and my family wanted to stop by to have a taste of wine. We were enjoying the view and how nice the place was. Unfortunately, we felt horribly mistreated by the man working at the tasting room. We wanted to have a taste before buying, so we asked what’s something he recommends and what their best selling wine was. We waited for his reply, however, it seems though he was ignoring us on purpose and acted like we weren’t there. A few minutes go by and we see him giving out wine to two ladies who just came by dressed gracefully. I’m not assuming but it felt as if it had to do with the way we look. I hate to be look down upon especially when it comes to customer services like these. Customers should be valued and treated equally, it’s basically called human decency.

This was my very first wine tasting experience, and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. The host was extremely knowledgeable, cheerful, and engaging throughout the tasting. She not only provided excellent service but also shared educational information in a way that was easy to understand and enjoyable to learn. Her energy and professionalism made the experience both fun and memorable. I left feeling not only impressed by the wines but also grateful for the outstanding service. Highly recommend!

Great place for an early spring camping weekend. The highway is right there, so traffic noise is a bit annoying but you get used to it! The beach is lovely — soft sand, lovely ambiance. Really enjoyed ourselves.

A lovely camping spot with a spacious beach with big sandy spots. Camping spots are super spacious and would fit big tents. No shower and the toilet doesn’t have running water though. There was a water well for washing dishes (not sure if it was potable). There are more beaches in the area if you’d like more privacy. 10-15 mins away there is a small town with basic groceries and gas station. The nights reveal plenty of stars, it’s amazing! The highway is a little close so at night it might be disturbing if you’re a light sleeper.
MAXIM P — Google review
This was an incredibly well kept campsite. The bathrooms were very clean and the park rangers were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Our sites were clean and almost all had a little path down to the river for private access, the day use area was easily accessible as well. Personally I did not find the highway noise disruptive at all, we will definitely be back here to camp again!

Nice little campground. Water is normally clear as in my video. Unfortunately, overnight it turned muddy brown apparently from a slide. Nice swimming holes. No showers or flush toilets.
Jon F — Google review
Was a great place to swim and sun. Has a very nice sandy beach like area with both sun and shade. While the river was very low at the time I was there people were still cliff jumping in a couple of deep areas.
G A — Google review
Offering both day use and camping, this is more than a place to take a rest or stop for the night, majestically tall pine trees greet you at the end of the parking lot. More than a dozen well-kept picnic tables are about 20 feet from the your parking spot. Walking down to the river is a sandy beach where you can get a sun tan, listen to the water running over the rocks. If you swim across the river you can climb Bromley Rock and jump into the water, about a 15 foot drop. Even if you don't like swimming or jumping it is fun to watch other people do it!

A very nice small park, beach is nice, sand is soft, there is aslo trees along the beach you can find shade. The most amazing here is there is very big rocks on top of the river, there is always people there diving. The wash room there is also very clean.

The restaurant is renowned for its use of the freshest local ingredients, serving up new seasonal specialties regularly. Guests can also enjoy the popular long table dinners on Wednesdays throughout the summer, featuring a four-course dinner paired with Quails' Gate wines amidst the vineyard.
What a wonderful meal and location. We had three courses and a wonderful bottle of wine. We sat outside and were at first worried it would be a bit cold but the heaters were perfect and we were offered blankets also but didn’t need these! View was such a wonderful bonus and music and atmosphere was great. Food was absolutely amazing and our waitress Paige was just wonderful, she was so kind, friendly and attentive, making some wonderful choices/recommendations for us on the wine and dessert. We spoke at the table about how lovely she was! Thank you Paige and Quails gate for a fantastic evening!

We’re members and we came in for a tasting, yesterday. The tasting was lead by Amelia, and she was as outstanding! She had a bubbly and welcoming personality, she was super knowledgeable on her tasting notes and pairings and just delivered an all-in-all exceptional experience. Probably our favourite tasting we’ve had here yet. She also helped me find my new favourite red at the winery, the Queue!

I was on a road trip with my small dog, so I deliberately sought out this winery because I heard here is dog-friendly. I was so pleased that I was allowed to hold my dog while doing a tasting and purchasing wine. I had been informed that dogs needed to be held while inside the building, so I was prepared with a cross-body dog carrier bag, which made it perfectly manageable. The staff member who guided us through the tasting was incredibly friendly and professional. Their kindness was a wonderful bonus. I would love to visit again next time I'm not the designated driver!

We celebrated our one-year anniversary here and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The view was absolutely breathtaking; truly unforgettable. Quails' Gate Restaurant was an absolutely fantastic experience with incredible food. We went for dinner one evening and returned for lunch another day, both meals were outstanding. The duck, in particular, was unbelievably flavorful and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried from the happy hour lunch menu was also delicious, the salad and beef tartare were personal favorites. The setting and location are also stunning. We’ll definitely be back in the future :)

Outstanding Okanagan gem. One of the oldest wineries in BC, truly exceptional. Neil our host for our anniversary tasting was fantastic and charming. His depth of wine knowledge was brilliant. Beautiful setting, grounds and of course wines. Stewart Family reserve Chardonnay was top notch.
Stephen Z — Google review
Wonderful experience at Quails Gate. We had lunch at the restaurant (separate review), then a stroll in adjacent vineyard, followed by a reserve tasting. We were guided through the tasting by a delightful lady Valerie, who it turns out had much in common. She not only introduced the wines but shared extensive background on the history of the winery. The tasting began with a Pinot Gris. They were sold out of top rated Riesling, chenin blanc, and gerwurstraminer. We then had a Pinot noir, which had very aggressive tannins, unusual for a Pinot. Next came a Marshal Foch, a non-vinus-venifera, and was a little funky, without much finish. The final was the queue, a red blend made from grapes from elsewhere in BC. The tasting was on the deck backdropped by the beautiful lake, hills and vineyards.

Mission Hill Family Estate Winery is a leading winery in the Okanagan Valley, known for its modern buildings, amphitheater, and locavore restaurant. The estate was established in 1981 on Mount Bushiri and gained recognition after winning an award for the best chardonnay at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in 1994. With its European architecture and a 12-story bell tower, the West Kelowna estate offers stunning views of Okanagan Lake and exceptional wines.
This is not your usual stop on a winery tour. This truly stunning spot requires hours to explore and appreciate. We opted to dine in the restaurant for the three course chef tasting menu with the reserve wine pairing, as well as a regular pairing. The meal offerings changes seasonally with what’s fresh, and I can truly say the chefs and servers are at the top of their game. This was a $350 bill before tip, and it was worth every penny, nearly three hours of dining, wining in the most beautiful place you can imagine… it’s a luxury experience we felt was worth every penny. You won’t want it to end. The only critique I could possibly find is we stopped passed the wine shop and tasting room before our reservation, and the sales person was quite pushy to get us out the door, as they closed in 20 minutes. A bit of a sour start to the evening, but the meal more than made up for it. A couple things to expect: parking is ample, the grounds are glorious so take your time to explore and take pictures before your meal, there are affordable and expensive bottles (so something for everyone), but maybe skip the gift shop if you have no interest in overpriced, kitschy items and $2000 luggage (I get this is a luxury place, but come on), you WILL need a reservation and you WILL need to put down a credit card to do so, it books up fast but we were able to get a table for the next day. 10/10 experience, will be raving about it to anyone who asks how my summer was. Cheers!

Econic winery high on a West Kelowna hillside. Like it's name, it's as though you are entering a missionary. A tall bell tower rings for 5 minutes at noon, and shorter periods every fifteen minutes. To the right as you enter is the wine and gift shop. It has rooms for dedicated tastings, where we had a tasting with hor d'oeuvres, cumulating with a tasting of the iconic Occulus - which received a 100 point rating, and consistent ratings in the mid-90s. The tasting included Sauvignon Blanc, rose, merlot from the Terroir Collection, and Quatrain from the Legacy collection. Our favorite was the merlot - with distinctive merlot on the nose and taste. Our guide Mia was very friendly and informative. The shop had things you don't expect to see in a wine shop - luggage priced at $25 k, a book about Milan,... You get the idea. Classy...More for show. To the left on entering is the restaurant. All the tables in the restaurant have a lake view. We had a wonderful lunch (See the review). The grounds have a number of statues. Lending to the elevated experience. BTW Mission Hills was selected Winery by NWAC, the 7th time in the 25 year history of the awards. sected

I visited Mission Hill Winery because everyone kept telling me it’s a must-see in Kelowna, and honestly, it lived up to the reputation. The service, the interior, and of course the wine were all excellent—everything felt refined and thoughtfully curated. The only thing to note is that the price range is definitely on the higher side compared to other wineries. And while the staff who recommend the wines are very friendly and knowledgeable, I did feel a slight sense of being rushed at times, probably because it’s such a popular spot. There’s also a separate VIP tasting area, and seeing it from outside really makes you want to try it someday. It has that “I want to experience that too” kind of pull, especially because the entire setup is visible from outside. What I loved was how they display a wide range of wines—from premium to more affordable options—all arranged beautifully so you can see everything in one glance. The overall decoration and presentation are incredibly well done. One thing I wished for was being able to enjoy a glass of wine outdoors. There’s a park-like area with a stunning view of the lake, sky, and landscape. It would’ve been amazing to drink wine out there, but even without that, the indoor experience is still lovely. Whether you enjoy it inside or outside really just depends on what kind of wine experience you’re looking for.

My husband , my sister and I all had such a beautiful experience at Mission Hill. From start to finish our server named Guy led with such class and poise! Very knowledgeable, friendly and polite service. Simon also popped in whenever he passed our table, topped up waters and overall we had a great conversation and vibe with both of them. We wish them both all the best in their future plans. The Mission Hill property is in top knotch shape and very picturesque. Looking forward to future visits here!

We had an amazing time at the guided tasting tour! Simon gave us a fascinating tour of the winery, showing us the bell tower and the wine cellar, and we even got lucky enough to spot a little deer along the way. Kiran and another lovely staff member led our tasting session. Kiran was especially wonderful, patiently answering all of our questions—some of which were quite out-of-the-box—about red and white wines. As people who aren’t very familiar with wine, we gained so much enjoyment and interest from their explanations. Both Simon and Kiran were extremely well-mannered, friendly, and welcoming. Their passion and professionalism truly made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

I’ve visited several times this year, and I have to say—I was never a fan of Canadian wines… until Mission Hill. It’s an oasis in the desert. I’ve rarely encountered such sophisticated wines, and so consistently so. Even their most approachable bottles surpass many others around the world. Unlike so many wineries, Mission Hill’s pricing truly reflects quality: if the budget-friendly selections are sensational, the upper-tier bottles are nothing short of divine. During my first tasting, I was struck by the quiet depth of emotion these wines evoke for the wine romantic—a gentle stirring of memories, of great bottles shared with special people, of perfect pairings from years past. These beautiful wines are, in every sense, a treat for the soul.

Absolutely stunning winery. The architecture and design is grand. The interior store is warm and inviting - like walking into the living room on Christmas Day. Amazing energy. Shaylin walked us through a wine tasting and was 10/10.

What a gem! This beautiful walk over several gorgeous bridges leads to a fantastic volcanic fall. The path, especially at the end, is icey and very slippery, but you can manage to path it if you want! Loved it!
Yasamanl — Google review
Hardy Falls is a lovely spot to visit. The falls aren’t very big, but they run year-round, which makes it a nice stop in any season. In September, you can see lots of salmon swimming up the river, which is really special to watch. A peaceful place to enjoy nature and a nice short walk to the falls.
C N — Google review
perfect little easy walk to the falls on a gravel path. You cross over multiple bridges with a beautiful stream meandering the whole walk. Takes approx 20 mins to the waterfall. The falls run all year & in mid Sept to Oct the Kokanee salmon are spawning. Parking is free, no fees & well maintained.

Easy walk. Shaded. Good trail with several bridges over Peachland Creek.
BC G — Google review
Great stop on the road, falls are about 5 mins away from the parking lot. But the coolest thing is to see the big salmons on the creek, so beautiful!!!
Maria M — Google review
To get to the falls, there is a good little hike that can be done by very young kids or older folks. It's not much of a view really but it's still a nice time to spend with nature.
Krianne V — Google review
I enjoy visiting here in the summer and this was the first time going in the late winter. It looks so different with the trees empty and many frozen water formations including the falls. The different winter light also makes the canyon look different. As always a short pleasant stroll.
Rita M — Google review
Very easy walk to reach the falls, it takes less than 15 minutes. We crossed several bridges and took the time to read the tags sharing some facts about the flora and fauna. Be advised that there are very few parking lots available at the entrance to the trail. For more pictures visit my IG (@kelledstyle) :-)

Zoo
Kangaroo Creek Farm, located in the heart of the Okanagan Valley, is a unique and family-friendly destination where visitors can immerse themselves in an up-close experience with a variety of fascinating marsupials. The farm is home to diverse kangaroos, wallabies, emus, goats, sugar gliders, and other exotic animals. It offers an educational opportunity for visitors to learn about animal habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts.
Make sure to save PLENTY of time to take it all in! We were on a tight schedule of the many things we wanted to do while in Kelowna from Alberta. But our greatest regret from the trip is not allowing more time at the kangaroo Farm. First of all, the amount of love, dignity and respect they show to the animals is why why the animals are also chill! It was a little bit pricey to get in for a family of six but worth every penny! Everyone from the adults to teenagers and toddler all had a wonderful time. They could have stayed there all day! But they do close at 3:00 p.m. so make sure that you keep that in mind. Most of the animal handlers were very friendly except for the bird guy.. he took his job a little too seriously. But once again care for the animal is their primary concern, which isn't the bad thing. All of the staff were knowledgeable and genuinely loved the animals. I think 4 hours would probably be a good amount of time to spend here. Just like most places, the snack stand is outrageously priced. But it's really nice that they supply little treats to feed the animals, for free. I know some zoos and such make you pay coins for treats. We had an absolute blast and would definitely go back!

My family and I had a great time exploring the park. There’s lots to see in the staff were super friendly. Some of the amenities could be worked on as as well as the cleanliness of the washrooms, I’m sure it’s a busy place but for the price they charge With concessions and entry, they should have people on duty making sure things are clean. It can get very hot there so I would recommend bringing something to keep you cool like an umbrella. Overall off on place to take company from out of town
Joshua S — Google review
It's a fun experience for the entire family. Being able to walk between the wallaroos and kangaroos is enchanting for all ages. The place is beautiful, lots of space for a picnic (although they do sell snacks and beverages). You really need to come during the low season and on a weekday. The place can get packed fast.

Came all the way here from Maple Ridge to see the kangeroos because it’s cheaper than flying to Australia. It was for my daughter’s birthday as she loves animals and especially kangeroos. We had a great time. The capybaras and the sugar glider were surprising fan-favourites. My kids (9, 10 & 16) all liked the rabbits and pigs too. We got bored around the two hour mark. The animals are pretty docile and pretty much just lie around. I hope they’re happy here. Although we can feed them they don’t really want to be fed (must be full). One pig had a tantrum at the end and got really loud. Coming here is something you must do once but probably would never come again. Some of the staff were great and others seemed a little harsh with kids. Prices are a little high but if it’s mostly going towards the animals’ care that’s fine.

I love kangaroo creek farm so much. I’ve been there many many times and I’ve never had a bad day there. They have local honey as well available for sale outside the grounds (also delicious). I love that you can interact with so many different species. They have capybara, kangaroos, bennetts wallabies, a Patagonian Mara, a porcupine, sugar gliders and more. This is one of my favourite places in the world. @katjaspov on Instagram for more of my favourite spots 🥰

I recently visited Kangaroo Creek Farm in Kelowna, and honestly, it’s such a fun and unique spot, especially if you have little kids. The farm gives you the chance to get up close with kangaroos, wallabies, capybaras, parrots, and even some exotic animals you don’t usually see in Canada. It’s hands-on, interactive, and way more personal than a traditional zoo experience. What makes it really special is how relaxed and welcoming the vibe is — the animals have space to roam, and you get the chance to feed and pet them at your own pace. The staff are super friendly too, always happy to answer questions and make sure the kids are having a great time. Tickets are about $20 per person, its about 1 hours trip. And they have shows at 11:30 and 1:30 every day i believe. I’d say it’s the kind of place where kids can learn, explore, and have fun all at once, and adults will definitely enjoy it too. Whether you’re a local or just visiting Kelowna, Kangaroo Creek Farm is definitely worth adding to your list — it’s one of those experiences you’ll remember for a long time.

A very lovely farm with lots of different animals to see! The kangaroos are super friendly and you can even pet them. It’s a perfect spot for a fun date or a family outing — very kid-friendly and relaxing overall.
Alisha_Jira — Google review
We went to the Kangaroo Creek Farm in July and were so excited to see the animals. The farm was busy when we got there but parking was easy to find. It was a very hot day and we were worried the animals would be hiding or not around for us to see. Upon entering, we went to the capybara and sugar gliders. They were out, and although the heat made them lazy, we got to pet and hangout with them and even hold a sugar glider. The kids enjoyed the show we watched, which was quick and engaging. The bird exhibit was fun and they were all hanging out. The emu feeding was awesome and we enjoyed watching it interact with people. The kangaroos were pretty lazy and weren’t interested in eating our treats but we couldn’t blame them because it was +35. It was fun to see the babies and watch them be bottle fed. There was even a momma with one in its pouch, which was cool to see. The facilities were clean and we enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend to anyone going to Kelowna to check out the farm and hangout with the animals.

Nestled in the stunning landscapes of Peachland, this attraction boasts the highest, longest, and fastest ziplines in the country. Visitors rave about their exhilarating experiences as they soar through treetops at breathtaking speeds while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding forest and canyon.
An Unforgettable Adventure for All Ages! We recently visited ZipZone Peachland with my 5-year-old daughter, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, she was brimming with excitement, and ZipZone certainly delivered on the thrill. What truly made our day, though, were the amazing staff. They were so welcoming, patient, and engaging with my daughter, making sure she felt comfortable and confident throughout her adventure. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and it really added to the overall enjoyment. My daughter absolutely loved soaring through the trees, and watching her face light up with each zip was priceless. It's a truly great place for families, offering an exciting and memorable outdoor activity.

Such an amazing experience! We had a little zipper with us and Fish & Eggs did an amazing job with him! Looking forward to the next time when we can do more lines!

Booked the morning of for 2 of us to do the full 6 line tour. Loads of fun, and the only thing you need is bravery to make the first step off the platform. Things that help are a strap to keep glasses on your face, keeping hair tied back under your helmet so you get a clear view, clothing with zippered pockets to avoid dropping items, and the ability to do a short hike back up to the top when done. Absolutely worth the price, and a terrific adventure to add to your to-do list!

Awesome experience! Views were fantastic. Kudos to guides Twig and Vulture! They were great - explained everything in detail, had awesome personalities, even went extra with my son that got cold feet last minute. Highly recommend. Just a heads up that the road is no longer paved about 1km coming up to the location.

Loved it. It seems kinda like a goofy thing to do, but the views are gorgeous, and it's damn fun flying through the air. The staff are wonderful tour guides as well as extremely safety conscious and thorough. I'll definitely bring visiting friends/family on this very cool adventure, at least so I can do it again and again and again. Luv it!

Great as it was a donation only place. It was pretty cool, but I think my dad liked it better than me. "The first Nation baskets were really cool I also like the cabin because you can walk inside." He said and I agree with him on the cabin part.

Review Date: July 22nd, 2015 Interested in Canadian history, eh? On the strange and long journey through Canada, I didn’t expect us to end up at a Museum dedicated to Princeton and the surrounding area. We headed to Princeton for a few days before making that long trek home. While there, my cousin’s wife took us around to show us the little town. We ended up at this museum and learned a bit more about Canada. This museum, despite the small-looking size outside, offered a ton of information and historical artifacts on the inside. I was astounded by the amount of cool antique objects and small replicas that the small museum held. It was really cool to look over and learn about not just the history of another country but the story behind the local area. Compared to some other museums that I have been to, this one felt homely and welcoming. The few staff members made us feel really welcomed and answered any questions we had. Not sure what else to say about this place. It was a nice little history stop in our long journey. If you find yourself in Princeton with an afternoon free and you got a hankering for learning, this place won’t disappoint.

Very lovely collections of minerals and fossils. Did find it to be lacking in information compared to other small town museums I've visited but definitely still worth visiting if your in the area

If you are interested in Canada history, This is an amazing place! I wondered here around 4 hours, enjoyed all treasures on display. I learned many facts about the the town story, pioneers, mining, and the crazy gold rush. I will bring my friends here to enjoy the history of Princeton and District's unique heritage and culture.

Talk about a hidden gem! We were just looking for shade to park in and happened upon this little museum in the core of a quaint little town of Prinction and I was so glad I went and took a look! They have a huge collection of rock from multiple different people on lone to them. They have a ton of stuff from the history of the local area and a bunch of stuff from the old HBC fur trade company. Lots of knowledge tucked away here. I highly recommend check this place out with your family or friends. Don’t forget to walk around outside too the have so old fire trucks and mining equipment too!

Thank you! The gentleman here was very knowledgeable and friendly. Entry by donation. Very compact with so much fun stuff! Free postcards as well. Stop by if you can!

Came through to see it but arrived too late in the day. We will be back though! Edit: One of the staff spotted us digging fossils on a hill and invited us in to see the collection. What a treat! The Pollard collection is a must see for anyone with any interest in geology or paleontology. Staff assisted us in our fossil hunting trip and directed us to several great locations. Managed to find us some decent flora fossils and one fantastic insect wing specimen!

What a little gem of a location. I stopped in with my girlfriend and her family for a tasting. Everyone was so nice and the space was really cool. We tried the tasting and grabbed the cheese platter. Just to die for!! it really is the little touches that people add that make or break an experience. This place has a ton of charm and I can’t wait to come back again and see what they’ve got in the summer.

We did the regular tasting here. Our server was so friendly & knowledgeable on the wines. It was our anniversary so he added a sparkling & rose tasting on the house. Good wines served in a pretty serene atmosphere- recommended

Had a great experience here ! The hosts had been very kind and provided great wine! The cheese board was delicious. We had the signature tasting which includes 5 tastings & a cheese board with chorizo which was delicious. The property is very nice and the seating area is shaded. I highly recommend this winery!

This was our second time ExNihilo and it again spoke to our souls. This place makes you feel like family and delivers wine that is second to none in the Okanagan. Honestly we have tried dozens of wineries in the area and this one tops all, year over year. We look forward to staying for dinner here next time and indulging in the culinary art of these talented chefs and sommeliers.

We were there Sunday for a tasting…didn’t expect that great seated tasting! First of all, what a well organized and comfortable place. We had the privilege of being served by Nena, beautiful, interesting and well spoken young lady; her first year as a tasting server and she’s doing great! We had a wonderful time and of course, bought some great quality wine! Try it, you won’t regret it!

Ex Nihilo was one of our stops during our wine tour and we had a good experience. The venue is beautifully maintained and the wines were good. We were happy to try their reds as Lake Country is more known for whites. I am not sure if they were just short staffed or if it’s common practice but our wine guide was shared with another group that was there and it just didn’t flow. Will be back.

Nice location, friendly staff, good service. We enjoyed the wines we tried. Specifically the pinot noir and the sparkling. Happy hour made the price appealing as well. We sampled a salad, pizza, and main (short rib). All were well prepared and delicious. Comfortably casual attire was the norm. I would definitely go again.

A view equal or better to all wineries in Okanagan. I think it's super interesting and a wonderful community event that they have a weekend market/craft fair for local crafts people. Hopefully it's repeated for several weekends over the summer because I thought it was brilliant. The wine is also well regarded from this establishment but true draw is the outside sitting and the view.

I visited this place last Friday—such an amazing location with a beautiful view, just what you need at sunset. This time, they had the Apero food truck on site, and it was my first time trying their tapas. The food paired perfectly with wine and tasted absolutely delicious. A lovely spot to unwind and enjoy the evening!

I'm usually a food blogger, but I also participated in the wine tasting here. We visited 5 wineries this day and out of all of them, Arrowleaf was by far the most beautiful and most fun. The man that assisted my group with the wine tasting was extremely outgoing, knowledgeable and approachable. You could tell he loved what he did. Now onto my favourite thing I tasted my ENTIRE trip... THE HAZELNUT CHOCOLATE CREAM PUFF ($9.5). This cream puff was delicious, fresh, masterful, beautiful, flavourful... did I say delicious? Whoever makes these is through and through a pastry chef. They know what their doing. Don't miss out on visiting this winery for the great wine, good vibes and the phenomenal cream puffs.

My First Wine Tasting – What an Experience! This was my very first wine tasting and I couldn’t have asked for a better introduction. Took my family for lunch/tasting for my dad’s 70th birthday. Definitely had an great experience today. Our servers Morgan and Steph were superb and so attentive. Really enjoyed the tasting trio and would absolutely recommend it. The views are of course stunning. The only “negative” was that the menu was very limited. But we shared charcuterie plates, truffle fries, and pistachio ice cream. All 10/10.
Greasygirlgoneclean D — Google review
Excellent food and fantastic service. If they had more staff front of house it would be amazing. We were there early and were treated to all kinds of information on the wines, the food and why they were paired. We tried wines we never would have because of this. We hadn’t even considered wine! When it got busy around 6:30 with only 3 servers on the floor they can’t do that. From a business perspective that is a huge mistake. Our server, Cassandra, was a delight. Let her shine with a reasonably-sized section and you would increase revenue. Food was amazing and also able to accommodate my wheat and dairy avoidance. It was also nice to have a menu that doesn’t look like every other menu in town. Scallops were amazing and so was the steak. And the view can’t be beat.

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience today ! Rachel was an absolute pleasure and very informative! We choose the $20.00 taste of the Estate which included 5 different wines! We really enjoyed all of them and talked about our favourites with Rachel! We chatted about ours and Rachel’s travels that included some fantastic wine regions! The Pinot Gris was our favourite wine today and we had just been to the Alsace Wine Region in the Spring where the Gray Monk owners were inspired from! What a great story to hear! Our other two favourites were the Rose and Pinot Noir. Rachel made our experience really lovely! She was friendly, educated on the wine and the history of the winery! She genuinely wanted to interact with us! We will definitely return when the patio and restaurant is open! Great experience! We bought a bottle of Pinot Gris to go!

My friends and I great time at Gray Monk Winery on our tour. Our guide, Karen, was fantastic. She was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable with all our questions. Sadly the vineyard was closed due to spraying for crop protection, which was a little disappointing to miss out on as part of our tour, but we still got to see the wine tanks and learn about the process and history. A fun and informative experience overall with gorgeous views of Kelowna that I've never experienced before!

Monck Provincial Park

Nestled along the serene shores of Nicola Lake, Monck Provincial Park is a hidden gem just 30 minutes from Merritt. This stunning park is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, offering an array of activities such as swimming, boating, fishing (with 26 species to catch!), waterskiing, windsurfing, and hiking. Its warm and dry climate makes it a favorite among families looking for a camping getaway.
Monck Provincial was really pretty. The drive from Merritt is gorgeous, we passed many pastures and cattle guards to get to the campground. We stayed there in August and it was quite warm but many sites had shade for a good portion of the afternoon and evening. The roads are mostly paved which is good for kids on bikes. There is a small playground for young children. The "outhouse" toilets are plumbed/flush. The sites were nice and level for our tent trailer. The park had desert-like terrain and was very dry but there were many places to hang hammocks and very little bugs. Mosquitoes were not an issue. The stars and moon at night were incredible. The new park water system was having challenges so we were notified prior to arriving and we brought our own potable water. We chose not to bring our dogs swimming as there were signs posted warning of a blue-green algae issue (toxic for dogs or humans if ingested). There are a number of sites right close to the water if you can get one. The camp staff were very friendly and actively seen around maintaining all the facilities.
Krista K — Google review
A very well maintained campground. We went here for a night with kids. The campsite is very clean and spacious. The washrooms at the campground are equipped with flush toilets and are hygienic. Night sky view is amazing as the trees in campsite are spaced. The lake has a very nice beach and a great day out picnic spot with groundhogs roaming around in the park. All in all a great peaceful place to be at.
Parteek B — Google review
Walking in this beautiful park during off-season is so peaceful and calming. The park attendants have done an amazing job of keeping the place clean and natural. I also love the fact that I am a senior , and they have some outhouses open in each loop.
Mae W — Google review
The campground was so beautiful! The park rangers were super sweet and helpful which made our stay more enjoyable. There was a large group that was VERY loud during quiet hours and playing music late into the night. They were so loud that four different parties had complained about them. They also left food out which is a big no no when camping with the risk of bears. I applaud the park rangers for how well they handled the situation judiciously by removing the group from the campground.
Sadie — Google review
Looking for an amazing Provincial Park camping spot? You have to go visit Monck! We arrived mid-day and the check-in staff was so friendly and kind. We went and set-up our site and we luckily got one with a view to the lake that had a little path down to a beach. Everything was clean and well-kept! The site was on the larger side which was great! The facilities were well maintained and clean. The park staff came by to ensure we were all set-up okay and came around later asking if we needed more firewood. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short as I came down with food poisoning but we want to come back for a full stay soon!
Mirella H — Google review
Super nice campground. All the toilets (including the outhouses) are flush toilets and kept very clean (just be aware there aren't showers). The site hosts are all lovely. Unfortunately our trip was very bad timing because it was in the middle of a heat wave (38°!), their water system was having issues so it wasn't clean water (okay for washing dishes but not okay for ingesting) and the lake had toxic algae blooms so swimming wasn't recommended. All of these things are obviously out of their control and not permanent problems. The only reason I took one star is because I wish the spots were more shaded.
Crystal D — Google review
One of our favorite places to camp (if not our top fave). Hosts are awesome and friendly, everything is always clean and well cared for, sites have space and trees between, noise curfew is well enforced to make it a great experience for families and those who enjoy a quieter setting. The algae bloom was cleared when we got there which was amazing!
Kelly E — Google review
The lake has algae in it that makes it unsafe to swim and fish when it is blooming. If you are planning on booking a site here and want somewhere to fish and swim, I would suggest booking elsewhere. We went while it was about 35°C weather and had to go to other lakes each day which took away from the camping experience. Other notes: - The tap water also unfortunately had manganese in it making it unsafe for consumption. - The campsites do not have many trees so the sites get a lot of sun. I would suggest bringing a tarp or multiple tarps and a lot of rope just to help make some shaded spaces on your site. - The park staff/rangers were very helpful and nice. - The lawn/beach/picnic area is beautiful and would be perfect for lawn games.

Merritt downtown is a tourist destination. There is a very easy to find Visitor information. They provide a walking map to find Country & Western's Walk of Fame. The stars are framed upright, with handprint & signature (unlike Hollywood where you find them in a sidewalk). Some nice little shops and a bandshell that may have live music on weekends. Quaint little town but don't need more than a day or two stopover. It was 35-38C in July. Stay hydrated.

Super friendly staff! Cute nostalgic place with some souvenirs, local products, and donated knickknacks for sale. They also serve ice cream and have space for picnics out back.

Free charging here for your Tesla if the Tesla Chargers are out of order like today. You just need the standard adapter that came with your car.

we dropped in for information and were offered free coffee, lemonade and delicious home made baking (while it lasts). Lovely and knowledgeable staff, nice gifts made locally. A chance to meet some of the locals and start your trip to the interior with a friendly small town welcome.

Absolutely wonderful people, easily the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful info centre I have been to - which is saying something, as I've only ever had positive experiences with info centres! The ladies here really go above and beyond; they even, very kindly, mailed me something overnight when I forgot it behind after using the centre's bathroom, to ensure I would get it before I moved on to my next destination!

Amazing tourist info place with free lemonade and interesting things to see and buy. Stopped here to use the wash room (single stall) with the family and there was plenty to keep the interest while waiting my turn. :)

Super scenery! Fishing this time was slow... But still very relaxing.
Clint W — Google review
The road into the west campground is horrendous and needs to be fixed. Plus the boat launch is ridiculously shallow and needs some TLC. Love the lake if that's any consolation.
Todd C — Google review
Very nice spot. Peaceful. Serene. Only complaint is sites are not very level. But overall amazing spot.
Manuel G — Google review
Friendly staff, and the restaurant has good food. Lovely lake, great fishing. Their tap/drinking water comes from the lake, and tastes of fish and swamp. The coffee and tea are affected as well. Next visit I will bring more of my own water!
Centaurfemale C — Google review
Best fishing lake in BC. You need a boat because there are few places to wade and trees stop you from shore casting. In May/June you can't miss with trolls, flys, or bait. Provincial sites are fine and they have a nice boat launch but it is way better if you can get into one of the sites at the resort. $30/night/site gives you a pool, store, hot showers. Great quad trails nearby and lots of smaller lakes to explore. I do a week every year plus a couple of weekends if I can make it work.
Brad M — Google review
Wonderful facilities and fishing. UPDATE: Park Operators, Barry and Paul, are excellent for the 2023 season. I have never seen the park look so well kept, have been attending Roche Provincial for 15+ years.
Owen D — Google review
My favorite medium sized lake in BC. So many amazing fishing trips here. For me it really is a World Class Fly Fishing Lake!! The sites do not get raked and the fire pits do not get emptied. When I PAY for a site I like it to start like I leave it...... CLEAN. With that said there is toilet paper in the outhouses and they pick up the bear proof garbage and your money without fail.
Jay E — Google review
Some of the best lakes in the region for fly fishing. Roche, Black, Horseshoe, all fished very well, but Frisken was slow and high algae bloom with few fish this season. Large open campsites, but very busy. Resort is nice with reasonably good food in their restaurant, and lots of boats to rent.

Riverside Park in Kamloops, British Columbia is a picturesque green space located along the Thompson River. It offers a variety of outdoor activities and amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features a sandy public river beach, perfect for swimming and relaxing by the water. Additionally, there are recreation paths that wind through the park, providing opportunities for leisurely strolls or bike rides.
This is a really nice riverside park. It should be very popular for locals in summer. The new water park is great for kids. If you bring kids make sure you bring the swim suits, they can enjoy the water park in hot summer. There are many tables and benches in shady area. The beach is beautiful with the sunset too. It's good for the whole family have fun and walk there no matter you are locals or visitors. The parking lot is big and free after 5pm. A park you should go for a walk.

The water park is a great spot for kids to cool off in the summer, and there are plenty of benches and picnic tables in the shady areas for a relaxing break. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, it’s a lovely place for a walk. Don’t miss the Rose Garden and the peaceful Japanese Garden — they add a special touch to the park. A must-visit in warm weather!

The greenery and open spaces make it ideal for family picnics, kids’ playtime, or just sitting by the water to enjoy the view. There are plenty of benches and shaded areas to relax, and the calm sound of the flowing river adds to the park’s charm. It’s also a great spot for photography, casual gatherings, and enjoying fresh air away from the busy city. Riverside Park in Kamloops is an absolute gem! We visited in the summer and had an amazing time. The park was full of life, families, kids, and people enjoying the beautiful weather. It offers stunning views of the river and has a clean, well-maintained beach that’s perfect for relaxing. The atmosphere is vibrant and peaceful at the same time. A huge thanks to the city government and park management for keeping this place so clean, safe, and welcoming. If you’re around Kamloops, this is definitely a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Riverside Park in Kamloops is a beautiful riverside spot with walking trails, playgrounds, and a splash pad—perfect for families. The views of the Thompson Rivers are stunning, and summer concerts add a lively vibe. Parking can get busy, and shade is limited in some areas. Overall, a clean, relaxing park worth visiting — I’d rate it 4/5 stars.
Parth S — Google review
A beauty of a park for everyone. We visited the park early September. There are many large old trees to sit under for shade from the hot sun, its close by the river and has a long walking path alongside it. I was told there is live entertainment each evening during July and August.
Joan Z — Google review
Awesome place to play, watch and have fun in the splash park. They have an updated playground that is wheelchair accessible. The water park is so much fun. We stayed and watched the sunset. It was beautiful. Would definitely come back
A S — Google review
Excellent amenities, busy with lots going on, this is a great gathering place. Great people watching, lots of entertainment, and a lot of shade on hot summer days. There was even a concert when I was there on a Thursday! There is a water park, limited parking, a swimming beach area that is sectioned off so it is a safe place to swim in the river, paved trails and much more.

Great service at Match in Kamloops by Ashlee R. She went above and beyond and was very attentive to us. Great food. Floor Manager was also very nice, didn't get her name.

So disappointing. Was in town for a wedding, decided to end the night at the casino. A couple groups of us went, the second group arrived at 120am. Approached the bar & was told last call was done at 130am. Started ordering for the group, got bounced to a different bartender bc one wanted to cash out, pass on the order and then was told sorry, cant serve you anymore its 130am. It was implied that they wanted to avoid more work for themselves. Tried a couple slot machines after and both smelled like spoiled food. Bizarre experience. Kamloops is cool though.

While playing poker, the dealer made a mistake and gave the turn to one of the guys he knew from before. That player took advantage of being the last to act and raised, even though he should have been the first to check or raise. We noticed the mistake, and the dealer admitted it was his fault, but no one did anything about it. The dealer was also shuffling the cards by hand, which is unusual since other casinos use machines for that. This is the worst casino I’ve ever been to.

Park
Kenna Cartwright Nature Park is a vast, year-round park with picturesque trails suitable for hiking, cycling, and snowshoeing. It boasts over 40 kilometers of gentle paths and is the largest municipal park in the province. The park offers a variety of trails, from easy to challenging, including wheelchair-accessible options. One of its highlights is the Tower Trail, a family-friendly 3.4-kilometer hike with stunning city views from a viewing platform at the top.
Trail is well maintain! Our dog love it. We walked in black diamond trail and its doable if you walked alot before. Nice view in the top! Free parking, toilet pit in the area, there is a bike repair station near in the parking lot. There is a lot of trail in the area too.
Adette B — Google review
There are quite a few trails here. Most are steep so be ready to go up. The view from the top was great and I felt a good sense of accomplishment when I made it up. We took the main viewpoint trail. It took about 1 hour to go up, hang out a bit at the top, then go down. I would not take my kids. They would have complained a lot. It is all up! There was parking, it was easy to find, there was a bathroom and garbage can at the base of the trail and this was a good trail to try if you are looking for a good little hike and aren’t from town - it was easy to find and it is well marked, you won’t get lost.
Lyndsay A — Google review
A great walk with stunning views. You can choose your difficulty level. Watch out for trail bikes coming down. Easiest way was to park off hillside. Beautiful views.
Kimberly C — Google review
Lovely short and quiet hike. Trail was well kept. You get beautiful views of the town & the surrounding mountains. If you have time to spare, definitely come explore this place. Tower trail goes straight up btw.
Raheel K — Google review
Some very challenging hiking trails. Make sure you bring loads of water and a wide brimmed hat, because shade can be scarce. Some parts of the trail were quiet, mostly you could hear the highways.
Cam M — Google review
Kenna Cartwright Nature Park is a gem for anyone into hiking, biking, or just soaking up views. The trail network is huge, with options for all skill levels, and the scenery — especially at sunset — is unreal. You get panoramic views of Kamloops, the rivers, and even Kamloops Lake from some spots. It’s dog-friendly too, which is a bonus. Downsides? Some trails are poorly marked, so it’s easy to get turned around if you’re new. Also, parts of the park are pretty exposed, so bring water and sun protection. Still, it’s one of the best places in Kamloops to get outside and feel like you’re miles away from the city.
Riya S — Google review
This is the place to hike if you want an all-encompassing view of Kamloops from above. The trail doubles as a service road to the cellular towers on top of the mountain. Thus it is wide, smooth, and impossible to veer off course. The trail is very short but the gradient is steep all the way up the mountain. It's a hike that promises great rewards for little time and effort. Highly recommended.

Nestled in the heart of Kamloops, British Columbia, McArthur Island Park is a sprawling green oasis that beckons both locals and travelers to indulge in outdoor activities. Spanning over 51 hectares on McArthur Island along the North Thompson River, this park is a vibrant hub for sports enthusiasts and families alike. With its well-maintained baseball and soccer fields, as well as a skate park for thrill-seekers, there's no shortage of ways to stay active.
All parks should be 5 ⭐️ especially this one. Absolutely beautiful park on an island on the Thompson River. Great paved trail that completely circles the entire park. It’s about 3 km. There is lots of parking available and public washrooms also. Lots of green spaces. Lots of benches but no picnic tables. The park supports multiple sports ⚽️ ⚾️🏒🏏🛹🚴‍♂️🥏 also mini golf. Lots of wildlife 🦆🪿🦉🦇🐿️

Beautiful park for baseball and other activities. As we were there for a baseball tournament (considered an "event") so we were allowed to camp there at a cost of $16.50/night. Lovely facilities with a beautiful 3.2km path along the perimeter of the island. Washrooms and garbage kept up nicely.
Erin P — Google review
It's an island not a park. The design of the park is good. There are a few big sport fields around the road. If you are a visitor, you may drive a little half round of this island. There are many parking and washroom along the road. We go there in the late evening so we didn't see any wild life. If you have time, I think there are a good trail goes around the whole island. I see people using bikes to stroll around. It may take some time for a round stroll.

Safe, well maintained park I love coming to Mac Park for a morning blade. Beautiful venue for soccer and ball. Great paved running path. Hockey arena.

Great location for sports. We've attended the BC youth rugby 7s tournament here the last 4 years. Super jealous that Kelowna doesn't have anything comparable. No wonder they call themselves the tournament capital! Good job, Kamloops:)
Matt F — Google review
This park’s a full-on activity hub. You’ve got soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a skatepark, disc golf, and even a big indoor sports centre. I liked the 3.1 km paved loop — great for walking or rollerblading, and it passes through some peaceful riparian areas with birdwatching spots. It’s family-friendly and well-maintained, with lots of free parking. Downsides? No dogs allowed, which might be a dealbreaker for some, and it can feel a bit too busy during tournaments or summer weekends. Some areas could use more shade or seating. Still, it’s one of the most versatile parks in town.
Joon C — Google review
Lovely walking trails, lots of wildlife and great sporting facilities

I've taken to walking here daily and it is a great place to start getting active. Always clean, and very well looked after. I like that there are several public washrooms available and several different options for how far you want to walk.
