We came here for our anniversary to explore Williams & take the train to the cabin. The experience & area were fantastic! The train ride was so beautiful & fun. For food, there were local places that we enjoyed, but we also did visit the buffet diner attached to the hotel for breakfast & it wasn't bad at all. The speakeasy style bar in the hotel was nice, but Historic Brewing Company is unbeatable & quite close. The rooms were a little dated but clean. Not an awful place to sleep, but didn't inspire any excitement by itself. We also visited the indoor pool & hot tub, but they seemed a bit grungy, so we abstained. Very beautiful area tho & the service was great. We had an overall great time!

Our stay was awesome! We purchased a package deal and all the details were arranged including meals and train tickets. All staff were courteous and outgoing. A big surprise was the grounds were decorated for Christmas with carols playing throughout the premises. Rooms were very comfortable and from desk was very responsive. Train ride to the canyon was very memorable. Highly recommend this experience!

The Wild West adventure that is the Grand Canyon Railway & Hotel was a perfect treat on our road trip around the area. We chuckled at the cowboy shootout to start our day, marveled at the sights up to the Grand Canyon - and of course we were awe struck with the Grand Canyon, which you’ve got just enough time to really experience. We highly suggest the bus tour, that made things super easy and we were guaranteed to be back with just enough time. HOT TIP: You can skip the lunch and tour combo. The lunch is middle of the road at best and nothing special when you have access to other options while you’re up there. We thoroughly enjoyed the domed train cabin and after walking through the other cars were glad we paid the extra money for it. Nancy was our stewardess hostess and bartender, she was lovely! The hotel is a great location and well priced for the bundle with the train ride experience. It’s worth the stay and the breakfast buffet was delish!

We spend one night at the hotel; Morning cowboy show was fun, we had a great time in the train, round trip first class was very comfortable, includes pastries, water, soft drinks, snacks, fresh veggies, fresh fruit, coffee and charcuterie board! Terryl was a great host in our parlor and shared many cool and interesting facts and stories during our rides :) Grand Canyon Village at South Rim was cute! We took the Red Line free buses stopped at every lookout and the GC views are delightful <3

Hotel is nice, service is great. Staff is pleasant and helpful. We did the train ride to GC and stayed the night at maswick lodge. I would say the only negative was when we returned I asked for a 2nd floor room again and was told our bags were already in room. Not sure why I couldn't move them but we just stayed in room they gave note. We did the included food breakfast and dinner. The food and buffet is good but if your not a big eater it's not worth it. If you like eat go for it ! You will have plenty.

Staying at The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel felt a bit luxurious. The warm, relaxing ambiance amidst famous artwork, Old-West architecture, and the beautiful central fireplace prompted casual conversations with newly met acquaintances in a wonderfully comfortable place. The hotel offers an indoor swimming pool and spa tub, along with other desirable amenities. A unique feature of the hotel is the Cowboy Show for entertainment. Travelers may board The Grand Canyon Railway just out from the rear entrance.

I can not say enough wonderful things about our whole experience at Grand Canyon train and hotel experience . Hotel 10/10, clean , staff polite, friendly, accommodating ! Train ride 10/10, we were in the luxury parlor car, Jenny was our hostess, fabulous. Food and drink satisfying. Loved the ride itself ! The level of organization regarding moving our luggage and explaining when and where we needed to be for transfers and meals etc , 10/10 . We recommend this experience to all !

Family of 6 APPROVED! Great way to see the landscape and history of how most early travelers got to the Grand Canyon. We have done many train rides on various vacations. Black Hills, SD. Smokey Mountains, TN. Branson, MO. Etc. This one operates very much on the same format as those. A fun way to travel and gain local experience and history of the area. Pack some snacks, (also available on the train for purchase) Next time it would be great to spend a night at the hotel at the Grand Canyon and see the sunset and rise again. I’d recommend that! The street shoot out in Williams after the train ride was great too!

This was a amazing experience from start to finish. We booked the train ride with the Luxury dome. The seats were comfy the air was cool. The view was amazing. The service and history of the area and by Mike was fantastic. They served juice, coffee and fruit & donuts on the ride out and tea and coffee with a meat tray on the way back with a Champagne toast. Just a relaxing and beautiful trip. Mile provided 5 star service. We had someone come play a few songs each way and a train robbery (not a real one) on the way back. Bring dollar bills to hide , just makes it so much more fun .

Recommend this 100%. Worth every $$. Did the Luxury train ride. Very nice. Had singing cowboys, train robbery, snacks and beverages. Met fantastic people. Loved our train lady, Jenny, she was so awesome. She made the trip so fun.

Train ride was amazing and it was great to see all the scenery changes as we got closer to the Canyon. The women's bathroom on the train has like a lounge area. We're your able to sit on the couch if you need to wait for someone in the toliet area. Toliet area is slightly bigger than airplane restrooms. But the door handle is weird to get out as you need to lift it backwards. Buffet area has a good selection of items & we had different things going up vs going back to Williams. Train ride was very smooth in 1st class car. My sister & her husband went to check the Cafe Car & also checked the Pullman car which is not air conditioned. They said it was also a rougher ride, that the car itself was about 100 years old. Definitely worth taking, was fascinating to learn so much about the train & grand canyon area.

Train travel was easy when boarding and unloading at the Grand Canyon Railway Depot. Every Attendant was friendly, kind and attentive to the needs of their passengers. They helped whenever needed, with professionalism and respect. They interacted well with passengers and exhibited excellent humor.

Drops you off literally a 2 minute walk away from the village. Brilliant location. The whole experience of the train was incredible. From cowboy shows to just great views. The gentleman in our carriage was incredible.

The most efficient, entertaining way to reach the Grand Canyon. Our PSA, Teryl, was a wonderful host that was full of stories and historical nuggets during the whole ride. Not to mention, a great bartender. We will be back!!

We stopped by Pete's Route 66 Gas Station Museum on a weekday in May, 2023. It's a really nice place that has some nice stuff. It's located in a nice spot in Williams that make visiting that much easier or nicer. Unfortunately the owner was busy with other folks, so we didn't get to speak with him. So I looked around and took some pictures. The nice lady in the gift shop informed us that you were not allowed to take pictures inside the gift shop for some reason. So I abided by her wishes and just took some pictures of the building and garage section. A nice little place to stop and visit.

Nice nostalgia items. The smell is even notalgic. The entrance is free and it has a small gift shop.

I have been a mechanic by trade most my adult life. I can say that this is the coolest place ever if your mechanically inclined. And the T’s are a good thing as well. Good quality silk screen cotton, not thin crappy iron on stickers.

Wonderful stop on Route 66! The owner was so friendly and spent some time chatting with us and sharing the story of the little museum. All of the memorabilia in the museum is from his personal collection! There’s also a small gift shop with some great Route 66 souvenirs!

Great place for Route 66 souvenirs. We must of caught the owner in a great mood after reading some of these reviews, because we really enjoyed him telling us the history of the place and history of his car. Prices were reasonable and no charge to enter.

This is worth every penny. It's a bit pricy at $30 per person until you're alive what you get. A self guided driving tour, then a walking zoo, and Moore! The animals are well maintained and the park itself is a sight! I would recommend 10 out 10 every time.

This was my 4th or 5th visit to Bearizona, so I clearly enjoy it. It's fun for children and adults of all ages. The drive through portion is really neat with lots of animals to see while they are in their natural habitat. We drove through three times this visit so we could see different behaviors at different times of day. The walk through area is also great and they have a restaurant with good food, a bar and other drink and snack options, shopping and more animals to see!

This was a very unique and wonderful experience! My 12 year old and my 76 year old mom both enjoyed it equally! The price is a bit high but we thought it was worth it. We came on a Saturday in early November and all the food stores were closed. I wish there was a little more activity or perhaps there is earlier in the day. The animals were phenomenal and the staff were very friendly

Very impressed with Bearizona in Williams AZ. Had heard good things from friends who had been but was even more impressed after being there! Most impressed with variety of animals and with the enclosures. In the drive through section, you get a close up look at black bears and Arctic wolves roaming freely throughout their habitat but feel very safe inside your vehicle. And the grizzly bears along the walking trail were very active and the story of their rescue was great to learn about.

A highlight of my trip to Arizona! It was so cool getting up close and personal (from within a car) to bears, deer, bison and more! The animals were calm and weren't stressed by being close to vehicles. You could even drive through the various areas as many times as you wanted to! The walk-through area was great too - the animals were active and obviously well cared for. The few that were sleeping looked very comfortable! The zookeepers seemed very well trained and were passionate about the animals. 10/10, would easily recommend!

Bearizona one of out favorite places to visit. You can drive through a path way and see all the wild life. Windows must remain up. After you can park and walk around the wild life zoo. We went in December and it was cold. Something to keep in mind. They have souvenir shops and café/ restaurants. This is the perfect activity for families and all ages.

What an Amazing Park! Drive through at your pace. See the animals up close & take fabulous pictures. The walk through is just as Amazing. The habitats are made so you can see the animals. What's great, is you can drive through again if you choose.

Neat museum off the beaten path. Building is an old school so it's cool that it's been repurposed as a museum. Lots of stuff to look at. Super nice gentleman working the counter. Definitely worth a stop to see all the artwork and artifacts and history.

Arizona copper museum is such a nice place to go, I’ve visited three times now!! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to talk if you ask!! there is so much to see so plan a hour or two to go through. It’s very affordable and my favorite thing about it is THEY ARE PET FRIENDLY!! you can bring your dog inside so they don’t have to sit in the hot car and they can walk around with you :)

This is a wonderful museum. Beautiful collections that surprisingly include some items from antiquity. The gentleman who greeted us was inviting and friendly. I was in awe of the beauty and the history contained in this small town museum. If you're in this area do not miss the Copper Museum.

It's very interesting seeing coppers history. There are so many beautiful copper pieces. The history isn't played up enough, and theres a lot of binders to tumb through. Sadly, my husband doesn't have the attention span for me to go through pages of information, so I'm not sure what all is covered on those pages. It's worth a peek to find out. I would have loved it to be more informative as to the processes to get to the end products, as in more story boards with pictures to go along with the equipment. It's creatively set up, so you follow copper Footprints around the museum, from room to room. You'll see an astonishing amount of copper crafted into all sorts of items from different time periods. I personally found the ammo shell creations and the records the most surprising of all. It's not over the top WoW, but it's pretty cool overall. It's worth checking ✔️ off your bucket list.

Great! Deep in the heart of Copper country is the Copper museum. Beautify art gallery and lots of information about copper. Probably more than you wanted to know. LOL. Don't miss this gem.

Wonderful stop during our group tour! If you ever wondered about the mysterious world of copper, this is your place to absorb that information! Great group of people with an absolute endless knowledge of the the copper industry. You'll need at least an hour to walk through this small building but the time spent will be worth it!

Interesting collection of copper items and vast information on the history of copper in the area. Worth a visit when in the area.

Oh my goodness we had a blast! Our normal cup of tea is the casino. Lately my husband and I have been going through a rough patch after being together for 38 years. I searched for something different for us to do, came across Blazin M Ranch. Let me tell you the atmosphere was so welcoming from the moment they opened the gates! I almost felt like we just got invited to a friends ranch for so much fun and great homemade food and don’t even get me started on the amazing entertainment show they put on for us. The owners were so inspiring to me a husband and wife and they worked so hard and entertained all of us. Even came by and asked how are meal was. Seeing them work together made me remember my husband is my true partner in life. Thank you to the owners and they worked so wonderful employees for taking us out of a rough patch! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Blazin M. Its really good family entertainment. We did ax 🪓 throwing & the escape room. There's a mechanical bull you can ride, a photography place to dress in western wear & have a photo taken, a small bar for beer, wine, & mixed drinks, a ping pong table, miniature golf, & there's a small museum near Ax throwing. It was so fun. Food was amazingly delicious. Bbq'd chicken, ribs, coleslaw, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn bread and a slice of cake. And you can go back for seconds, too! The show was so fun, lots of great music and laughs.

First and foremost I’d like to thank the staff for their amazing hospitality. Our family of 10 was treated very kindly. Our children were lucky enough to ring the dinner bell! The facility is gorgeous and well maintained. The extracurricular activities provided were a hit with our family. The food is probably too good, seconds are nearly impossible to resist! The show that the performers put on after dinner was so fun and very engaging. Overall this was a great experience. Our children loved it and we’ll cherish the memories made at the Blazing M ranch! Something fun to do near Sedona, we booked this on a whim and really glad we did. About a 30 mins drive but very much worth it. Lots of fun and games - the prickly pear margaritas and the little escape room were our favourites. We booked the 5pm slot and there was about 90 mins to enjoy before dinner and the show. Hugely entertaining. The staff there were excellent. We were a little disappointed as they forgot to give us our photos which we had paid for with our VIP upgrade but given the effort put in couldn't take away a star. Really fun!

A rootin' tootin' good time for the whole family. The music show is lots of fun but is likely to be more appreciated by the adults due to the song selection. The little old western town they have created is quaint with lots to see and do before the show. The food was incredible and the staff friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the trip.(A local, family owned business.)

Took my dad here for his birthday. The pre-dinner activities were so much fun! The VIP experience was worth every penny! The show was hilarious! It was chilly and the fire pits were awesome! Will definitely go back.

We enjoyed our visit to Blazin' M Ranch very much. It's a fun, family themed entertainment. When you check in, you are given a meal tag with your table assignment and a tag notifying the serving line of your dietary restrictions. The cute Western "town" has plenty of activities to do before the dinner/show. The short tractor ride was fun and informative. The dinner is very well organized. Over 200 people were served very quickly. We were the last row of tables to be served and I was surprised how quickly our turn came up. The food is delicious. We were served mac & cheese, bbq'd chicken thigh/leg & pork ribs, prickly pear coleslaw, mashed potatoes with gravy, dinner roll and bread pudding. And every dish was delicious. The meat fell off the bone, the ribs were meaty, the mac & cheese was wonderful (and I don't normally like mac & cheese). What I found very impressive is how my lactose intolerant husband was accommodated. I had stated his intolerance on the reservation website (there is a space for dietary restrictions) and when he came through the food line with his restriction tag, he was offered noodles with no cheese. They had cooked a separate small batch of noodles. My husband said the noodles were wonderfully seasoned and delicious. The show was fun. It does not take itself seriously and is very entertaining. This is a true family business where people play multiple roles. The sales clerks and activity assistants and tractor driver pop up as servers and entertainers and even owners. At the end of the show, everyone is brought out and acknowledged for their hard work. That was very impressive. The Blazin' M Ranch has a lot of heart.

What an incredible structure. It’s a must visit if you’re visiting the area. It’s fascinating, putting yourself in the shoes of the ancient ones who built this place. And the collection of artifacts in the visitor’s center is super impressive.

It was pretty awesome, the walk in mid day is pretty intense though if your not used to the heat Seeing the room at the top though is totally worth it There is also a small museum nearby which has some cool things and some very lovely rangers to talk to

Worth a visit if you're in the area. National park free with park pass. Small museum and gift shop with friendly, helpful staff. Paved walk up to the reconstructed pueblo, not suitable for wheeled vehicles. Short walk around the ruins, inside, and on the roof for photos. Restrooms, water bottle filler, plenty of parking. Go early to avoid the heat in summer.

We thought this was super cool. Plan on spending about 2 hours to "get everything". I don't remember if they took my America the Beautiful pass, but that means that if they charged us it wasn't much and it was worth it.

Fascinating view into the history of the Verde valley. Only takes about 30 minutes to see the small museum and ruins. I was impressed by the variety of artifacts from the site, especially the large pottery jars. Make sure you also see Montezuma Well and Montezuma Castle.

Very cool step back in time. Nice to be able to imagine how these people survived as you walk thru the rooms. Great exhibition in the welcome center of the artifacts that were found during excavation

Excellent historical site with explorable ruins and museum. Gorgeous views! You can keep receipt of paid entry to Tuzigoot or Montezuma to visit the other site.

Such a fun time! They do know that you are the food giver so you can get overwhelmed quite quickly when you first walk in to the deer pen. It helped circling around and walking away from the front gate. We had so much fun feeding, petting, and walking with the deer. It was a little warm when we went so a lot of the other animals were resting while we walked. If you want a good family time this is something to go try!

This is a wonderful place for kids also for adults. The animals can be a a little overwhelming for younger kids. But they are friendly and really beautiful wish I would have taken more pictures but I was too busy enjoying everything praying

I don’t review often, but I felt this deserves a shoutout. Free parking, clean restrooms and a great gift shop. The animals are definitely the highlight! For the cost of going to the movies, you get so much more. The deer were so friendly and sweet. Great for all ages. It was paved and easy to walk throughout, they even had staff sweeping the walkways. The workers were friendly and knowledgeable. You can tell that it’s a labor of love for the owners and staff, the animals were well kept with clean pens and enclosures! You can see wallaby’s, porcupines, coatis, even reindeer! For the price you’d be hard pressed to have a better day out with the family 👍

Had a very nice visit, took our 2 year old on her birthday. She enjoyed petting and feeding the deer which are very friendly. We had a bucket of food to feed the deer and needed to hold it tight and away from the deer because like to swarm you if they know you have food. Watch you clothing, one deer started eating my wifes extra long scarf 😁 and one was chewing the straps on my back pack which i could have left behind. Met some goats, lamas. Reindeer, one Bison, turkeys, peacocks, one camel and porcupines'. Weather was pleasant for early November about 76 deg. Great experience for kids and adults. I do recommend the Grand Canyon Deer Farm

This was actually pretty cool. Thomas loved it, and it was fun for us as well. There were lots of deer and other animals as well. The deer were pretty pushy while you were feeding them. We loved it but may be overwhelming for some. You don't have to feed them. The cockatoo talked too. I think it's would probably be worth the money for most family's. We live on a farm and still enjoyed it.

What an amazing farm! This little farm is located east of Williams and this is a MUST SEE if you’re coming to Flagstaff and or Williams for summer break! My girls had a blast feeding and petting the deer and so did I! There are also other animals such as porcupines, a little pig, Mozart the cockatoo, goats, zonkey’s, and even a bison. Furthermore, the staff who work here are very warm & welcoming, making sure you’re experience at this farm is good ❤️🦌 Also the gift shop is very cozy and offers unique souvenirs for you to take home.

I signed up for the Adult Zookeeper program. It’s been several months since, and I still think about how fantastic an experience it was to hang out with the animals while learning from one of the zookeepers. It was money well spent for me, and in comparison to Bearizona, the experience at Grand Canyon Deer Farm was more my speed, with its closer interaction with a broader diversity of animals. It’s awe-inspiring to see what they’ve done to care for the animals, and it was a great opportunity to see some coatimundis.

Very well organized. The astronomers were knowledgeable and helpful..but it you had a picture in mind of the sky filled with stars then thisay not be it. One reason was also there was full moon. The astronomers said that it has to be a lot darker to enjoy that. We went in December. Be prepared for extreme cold temperatures

The photos on the website do not portray what you will see. I have a telescope at home and I stargaze on my own time but I was hoping this would show me something I couldn't see with my own telescope at home but that was not the case. I was hoping for actual surface views of the planets. But, the sky view is amazing in Arizona, the telescopes on sight are great quality and you also get binoculars to view other things in the sky while you wait to view the telescope images. They also provide blankets and chairs and that is a great amenity especially for a chilly night. I did learn a lot and did learn how to locate certain star clusters and the milky way so that when I gaze at home I can find them without digital telescope help bc I do not have a digital scope. The astronomers are wonderful and informative and answer any questions. I think the advertisement on the website should be altered to show ppl what you will actually see. Overall I was disappointed in parts of the viewing experience for the price but I was satisfied with the concept and knowledge that I am able to take home. This is definitely for city folk who don't have star viewing at home, if you are a city dweller with no dark sky knowledge or the ability to see dark sky this would be a good experience.

Did not deliver what was promised. We paid for two private tours and we were promised two astronomer guides. We got one person who was anything but an astronomer. What they delivered was not worth the price paid. We paid $100+ per person and we didn’t feel valued as customers. On a cold Sedona night this company offered nothing to comfort their guests. Even our astronomy club offers hot cocoa to guests at their free monthly stargazing nights. The best part about the evening was looking at the amazing Sedona sky with the naked eye.

The Devil’s Bridge Trail leads to natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area. It’s a popular must to do hike and one can go on the bridge for the views. We did the Mescal Trailhead and keep hydrating thru out the hikes

My favorite place in Sedona. The trail is long and we went there with 7 years old. I recommend to go there as early as you can, so it will be not hot, not crowded and you will see sunrise 🤩. The trail is not very hard except last 5 minutes. There are some high steps over there, but the view is amazing. The line to take a picture is long but it goes pretty fast.

The trail itself is absolutely beautiful and there are many scenic spots to stop and take photos of the whole valley below. The only unfavorable thing was the lack of available parking, even on an overcast day during the off season. The bridge itself was majestic though, and the trail is not too difficult until the very end (which was mostly because the rocks were slick with mud). Overall, the hike definitely won't disappoint, nor is it too difficult for non-hikers to do.

Beautiful hike; we went at sunrise. Saw some wild pigs and a tarantula along the way. Went early in the morning, so light crowd. The hike was easy; the climb up to the bridge was moderate. Take plenty of water.

What a hike! One of the best. Did it on a weekday late evening so it was very less crowded. The views are amazing and the hike is medium to hard.

One of the best easy hikes. I came with my family, and it’s a good hike with kids. My nephews were able to do it, and they’re not outdoorsy kids, but they were able to walk. From the parking lot all the way to the bridge, we took about 3 hours total (round trip). I've got to say it's worth the hike, bro, with no water, snacks, or proper hiking shoes.

From the closest parking lot the bridge is about 4 miles round trip. The bridge has a long line to take a photo so be prepared to wait. I got their at sunrise and there was already about 15 people in line. Great hike with amazing views the whole time. Can’t go wrong!

There are no words. The emotions I felt getting to the top are indescribable. I truly felt the energy. The climb was difficult but well worth the entire experience. Don't forget to go to the left at the end of the trail for another part!

Loved our experience hiking there. To be noted it is pretty steep going up and coming down, and yet totally worth the climb. 💕Beautiful scenery from the top!

Got there on a Tuesday morning in late Oct at 7 am. Found plenty of spots in the additional parking. The hiking is very fun and challenging! Don’t be scared of the little tunnels at the tail! It’s only a small portion of the whole trail. If you can climb up, then there is no problem going down! Turn left to find the platform at the end of the trail!

We started at the Baldwin trail. Parking was $5. It was lovely, shaded and refreshing.

Watched the sunset here with my sister and it was such a memorable experience. Beautiful scenery, great views and a really nice hike. Loved this trail and the views cannot be beat.

The breathtaking sunset views up there are absolutely worth the effort!! It wasn’t super difficult as I was hiking in a group and I only needed to follow the footing of people in the front which helped a lot. If I were to figure out the submitting route myself, it would have been horrifying. It’s about half a mile going up with 600+ ft elevation gain. It took about 30 mins to go up and about 20 mins to go down so I recommend start descending right away after sunset(if you are here for the sunset view) to have enough date light while scrambling down. I highly, highly recommend wearing shoes with good grips as that will make this adventure much safer. Parking becomes impossible within one hour of the sunset time.

It is a short but demanding hike up some steep sections, including some rock scrambling up to the base of the cathedral rock… Spectacular views and great workout .. I highly recommend go early morning and beat the crowds…

Cool loop hike, with good views of Sedona and the surrounding rock from the trail. It's a nice way to see the area from a higher viewpoint while on a hike. Very urban, you don't ever feel you are really "in nature" but I would still recommend it as a way to get a quick visual tour of the area. Another nice place to watch the sunset without having to go very far. You can just hike up as far as you want and then sit down on the grassy hillside (some parts are more tree-covered that others).

Beautiful. We ended every day watching the sunset and started every morning watching the sunrise. Breathtaking every time. Must do both at least once. It gets busy so show up early for both.

Beautiful at sunset. Get there early so you have time to park and hike up to the top. We really felt the energy of the vortex. My friend and I were sitting beside each other and had a completely different experience. Highly recommend! When it gets dark, it gets dark so bring a headlamp. Perfect spot for stargazing!

Pretty view. Lots of people there to watch the sunset. Can see the whole town and miles into the mountains.

A short walk in a beautiful red rocks landscape (though probably not the best one in Sedona!). Hike up a little higher other than the base path and be blessed with sweeping views of the area.

Great place to hike! Some paths are easy and others are more challenging. Parking is a bit of a challenge. There are a couple of lots ($5.00/day) but all were full with cars coming in constantly. We lucked out by finding someone leaving.

Great hike but park in north parking if you intent to climb. The climb was good. Surprisingly at the top I felt tingling effect in my feet and legs. After coming down my wife told me about vortex at bell rock. I don’t believe these but I felt something, kind of interesting.

Easily one of the most wonderful stops we made on our trip. We spent time here enjoying the views and peaceful vibe. Everything from the drive in to the walk up the ramp was stunning. Once you reach the entry you are greeted by friendly staff. I can understand why it has so many good reviews. We picked up some items from the amazing ladies in the gift shop and enjoy part of a mass. The gift shop had things packed into every available space so take your time and you’ll find something for sure. Most are religious items, however there are many items that were not. So many people showed for mass, they placed chairs outside to maximize the amount of people who could enjoy it. Parking is a bit tricky, with only a few handicapped spaces, and the walk uphill once you find a spot made people a bit frustrated - I would suggest trying to find a slow time. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty busy. I have to assume earlier weekdays would be better. You can drop people who can’t do the uphill walk at the top of the hill but getting a vehicle turned around and back down can be tough and take a bit. They have team members on golf carts if you can get one! Take a small car if you can!

This Chapel is alive with the energy of God, beautiful place to come and pray and see very beautiful scenic view.. if you’re doing cross country trips or just visiting Sedona, Arizona I highly recommend that you put this on your bucket list of places to see as well worth the trip

Parking is very limited. As well as safely getting a good picture. Be safe taki.g photos below the road. The insode of the church is very small. They do allow you to come inside and talk to God. There's a smal gift shop below. The views of sedon is beautiful at the top of the church

Beautiful place with stunning views and a well-known tourist destination. Parking: Free parking is available either right outside the chapel or at the lower level, with golf carts available to take visitors to the top (free service, accept tips). You can drive up and park if a spot is open, or return to the lower lot if full. There is also a Sedona shuttle connect service that takes guests to the top, providing another great option. Kudos to the staff for their excellent efforts in managing and assisting visitors despite the limited parking availability.

I went on a busy Saturday, but still found a parking spot in one of thier 2 small parkings lots. You park below and walk up the street or the labeled dirt trail, and there is about 5 disabled parking spots at the top..... plenty of room to get in and walk around the Chapel and gift shop downstairs, without waiting. You can walk up the the front of the Chapel, once inside and see the Jesus footprints in Bronze. Be sure to get lots of scenic pics on both sides, when outside by the Chapel. Worth the quick stop, it was free and it took me about 30-45 min. Worth of time to see.

Nice place to stop and visit. It was packed with people so we ended up parking on the lower section and took the trail up to see everything. Short little hike but not all that difficult. Nice walking path to get to the Chapel. Amazing location / views with all that surrounds it.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful hikes you can take in Sedona. While most people only venture a mile or so in, the canyon really gets more beautiful the further you go back (and more peaceful!). Between the creek that you cross several times, the towering cliffs, and the lush trees and ground cover you really can't ask for more. Take a lunch and go back 3-4 miles and you will have the place to yourself. Take time to sit down and take in your surroundings as the canyon is overwhelming. My favorite time of year is fall and time of day is mid to late afternoon. That time of day really allows you to take in the beautiful colors of the surrounding cliffs as the sunlight sneaks away. Make sure to wear good shoes and be prepared to fall in love with this place. I would give this trail 5 stars but the $11 fee to park is a little high in my opinion and your regular red Rock passes that everyone stops and buys in town do not work there. Also the fact that they only accept cash is a little inconvenient as there is now where close to go and get it if you forget. So make sure you have money before you take the drive up. Plan in spending at least a few hours and make sure to look around, as there are hidden ruins and things to see everywhere you look!!

Absolutely gorgeous and easy hike. Very family friendly with amazing views to take awesome family photos. There are restrooms and parking at the entrance. The trail is 3.3mi one way and has 13 stream crossings.

Parking is cash only, so be prepared! A stunning hike once you get farther from the start and the road. It can be crowded at the beginning. When theres water, its a fun place to find slide rocks and get your feet wet! There is plenty of shade to keep cool in, and though certain river crossings can be more precarious, kids would be fine. Be prepared to pet some adventure doggos too! An awesome hike if youre looking for something a little more shaded than cathedral rock.

Unfortunately we missed the fall color by two weeks but this was still an amazing lil adventurous hike . Suggestion get to trailhead early. This place gets packed and no other place to really park around other than parking lot. Also you may get wet at one of the many water crossings

Stayed in Sedona for 2 weeks. Hiked many trails, this being my favorite. Easy casual walking, lots of shade from vegetation. Historical architectural ruins along the path. Take a walk in the creek, sit on the rocks, and be present with the ravens, singing birds, butterflies, dragon flies, and little fish swimming at your feet. Locals hiking around me verbalized Fort Creek Trail was their favorite too.

Excellent place to hike, beautiful scenery and very calming atmosphere. People are friendly and helpful when you’re unsure as to how much further you have to go. Highly recommended for the photo opportunities and for a place to bring your significant other.

Absolutely gorgeous hike! Be prepared to cross the creek numerous times. My watch showed 7.33 miles round trip.

Canyons are always awe-inspiring, and it’s remarkable to think how nature has shaped and preserved them over time for us to experience today. This beautiful red rock canyon is no exception, with green accents adding contrast to the dramatic landscape. Though I didn’t visit in the early morning, I imagine that would be an ideal time for birding. The bridge connecting Sedona and Oak Creek Trail is especially breathtaking, a short span, but perfectly positioned to take in the views. It also serves as a convenient access point for several excellent hiking trails, including the Huckaby Trail and Wilson Mountain Trail, both offering stunning vistas and immersive nature experiences. A scenic spot well worth a stop.

Stunnninly beautiful place!! Wouldn't go fish there again but def will hike down. The access point is marked with a sign that states "water access" and then there are steps half concrete half boulder

Stumbled across this great hiking area totally by chance. There are several crossings where it would help if you had a hiking stick. Trail markers are generally good but having alltrails app def a big plus. End of trail a bit anticlimactic but the way there is super exciting and moderating challenging. Plenty of mini water crossing on wood or ice depending on time of year. Would def come back again.

Great place to go swimming and do family water activities. The water was quite clear, and very cool. There were other people there but not so many it was crowded, we went on a Monday.

Snowbowl in Flagstaff is always a great time during snow season! If you’re looking for family fun, the gondola ride is a must. For those who love snowboarding or skiing, the slopes are fantastic—just be mindful, your speed can pick up pretty quickly. Even if you’re not hitting the slopes, the atmosphere alone makes it worth the trip. And if you happen to forget something, their shop has everything you need to make the most of your snow day. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I’ve ever given a review that’s not five stars—and unfortunately, it’s due to the worst customer service I’ve received, especially from a manager, at the Snowbowl Store next to the Gondola ride. On September 28th, our group of five came for the Gondola scenic ride. It was raining and cold, but our excitement to see the mountain wasn’t dampened. As season pass holders, we visit often in the winter and were eager to see the fall colors. However, we underestimated how cold it would be that day. The ride operator kindly told us that the store sold blankets and jackets, so we went inside. I printed our passes and purchased a blue blanket (around $20 and it just had a price sticker with no tag tied on it, it’s probably returned by someone but I didn’t give it much thought) and two jackets (around $240 total). We placed our water bottles and an extra jacket we’d brought into the large bag given to us, went up the ride, and enjoyed what little scenery we could see—it was foggy but still a nice experience. We planned to come back later if the weather cleared up. After coming down, I remembered that we never used the blanket, so I decided to ask if I could return it. The cashier politely asked if it had been used, and I said, “Not at all, since we ended up using the jackets.” She went to ask her manager, and while waiting, I picked up a few small items for the kids. When the manager came out, he asked, “Why did you buy the blanket?” I explained that it was in case it got too cold, but we forgot about it and never used it while feeling his judgement in his eyes. Then he said, “We are not runing a rental shop here. You know what I believe? I think you used it and now want to return it…” I was stunned by that accusation and said, “I swear to God, I did not use it.” He replied that it was not returnable—though there were no signs anywhere in the store stating that. I, suck at arguing, walked away soon after. If he had simply said from the start, “Sorry, we don’t accept returns,” I would have understood. I spent over $400 in that one hour between the jackets and lift tickets. I wouldn’t have minded the no-return policy for $20ish but the fact that he accused me of lying made it the worst experience I’ve ever had as a customer. I left angry and disappointed, telling myself I wouldn’t spend another penny there. Unfortunately, since I already purchased the 2026 season pass, I’ll have to return. Then a couple of days later I read in a holy writing that if someone wrongs you, forgive them immediately so I’ve made peace with this unpleasant experience. However, during a family dinner last weekend when my family asked about our trip and I shared the experience, they encouraged me to leave a review—so that this kind of behavior might be corrected. To be fair, most of the staff member we’ve met at Snowbowl over the years has been wonderful. We’ve had many great experiences skiing there with our kids… But you know what they say about one bad apple… I wouldn’t wish anyone to experience what we experienced… So watch out and hope you have a good time.

We had a fantastic time yesterday here . The area is absolutely gorgeous and very well maintained too ! The hamburger and fries were delicious too . There were many activities for the whole family . Awesome customer service too . We will definitely be back soon . Have a blessed day 😇

I visited in early August to see the Aspen leaves flutter. It was extremely peaceful with beautiful views. The gondola was working but I didn’t try it. 100% you should make time to visit.

If you're looking for a great place to snowboard in Arizona, this is pretty much the only spot—but luckily, it's a solid one. I had an awesome time hitting the slopes with my friends. The runs are fun and well-maintained, with options for both beginners and more experienced riders. The views from the mountain are amazing, especially on a clear day. The rental process was smooth, and the staff was helpful. It can get a little crowded on weekends, but that’s expected at a popular spot. Overall, if you're in Arizona and want to snowboard, this is the place to go. Definitely recommend!

Visited the Arizona Snowball this August with my kids. We rode the gondolas to the top, got out and walked around for a bit, and took in the views. I had purchased my tickets earlier in the week and then noted before we headed up from Phoenix that the gondolas were on hold due to rain and lightning. The website said you could only get a rain check if you were present on site, so we drove up and hoped for the best. When we arrived the gondolas were still on hold. Customer service said that we could hang out and wait to see if they open up as the lightning seemed to have moved on or get a refund on a gift card to use in the future or other activities on site. Because there were other activities we decided to hang out. We purchased snow cones, played in the hamster wheel and poked around the gift shops. There was an event going on with a live band, a restaurant and a section that was for 21 and up only. They also had a bungee trampoline, and downhill tubing slides for kids. The gondolas did open up within about 30 minutes and we were good to go even with it sprinkling. The views from the top were beautiful. It seemed there were some hiking trails but they were closed presumably due to the rain and lightning.

What a wonderful place to visit for the whole family! Toddler play room, interactive room for all ages, demos and talks. Looks like these guys thought of it all. Very beautiful campus to walk around. Definitely go see different telescopes they have and take a look at the sun and the sun spots during the day. Make sure to come back at night because this place is happening! You will see a variety of celestial object in the sky through telescopes and with a naked eye. Make sure to ask questions. Everybody who works here is super friendly and will gladly engage in a conversation about all space matters ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely amazing. I live in Colorado and I have no problem making the 8 Hour Dr. back exclusively to visit this place. The staff is wonderful, the amenities are very nice and clean, it’s incredibly family, friendly, and well designed, and the night viewing is fantastic. One of my favoriteplaces I’ve ever gone to.

My first visit was a fantastic experience! The live constellation show, while an additional cost, felt like a worthwhile investment for a complete nighttime experience. There are plenty of exhibits to explore, making it easy to spend a lot of time on the grounds. The auditorium show was a definite highlight, with the immersive elements truly enhancing the sense of scale. For those planning a visit, I'd highly recommend checking the moon phase beforehand, especially if you're interested in the rooftop observation. When the moon was nearly full, it made spotting constellations more challenging, as they were often positioned behind us, away from the observation area. It was also difficult to see the guide's laser pointer due to the bright light. Planning around the moon's cycle could help you get the most out of this particular part of the program."

WOW. That's all ai have to say about the updates and new visitor center. I took my family today and had a wonderful experience. The exhibits are educational, but so much more! They are interactive with sensory based learning, and everyone left with new knowledge. I have always recommended Lowell and now I can be even more enthusiasts about it. Bravo.

My 9 year old daughter is obsessed with space. This place was great!! We didn't make it early enough for tickets to the outdoor planetarium which was a bummer. We had a great time walking around the grounds at night, looking through the telescopes and playing in the play zone. The inside exhibits are very informative. The smells are the best and worst! I feel like I can still smell one in particular weeks later. 😂 I wish there was better organization at the group of outdoor telescopes. And maybe better signage or markers between the Clark and the indoor exhibits. We still made it where we needed to go but I could see how it'd be easy to get lost or end up somewhere you don't belong. All in all it was an amazing visit. We showed up around 8pm on a Friday night and it was definitely busy. But the skies were clear and the weather was nice. We'll absolutely be back. Especially since Lowell participates in the Museums For All program.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Lowell Observatory! The exhibits, engaging activities, and telescopes were absolutely fascinating. The staff was knowledgeable and made the experience even more enjoyable. We didn’t have enough time to explore everything, but we’re definitely looking forward to returning on a dark night to get the full stargazing experience!

I definitely recommend if you're in town to visit. The interactive entertainment is great for all ages. They even have inside playground for kids now. The outside campus is also amazing. The entire campus is ADA accessible I have a food court if you want to snack.

This museum contains plenty of artifacts from native Americans and nature. After visiting you’ve learned a lot from the history and environment of Northern Arizona. Outside there are a few nice walking trails.

Beautiful & respectful accounting of Indigenous history & interesting evolution of Earth Science! We were there for about 3 hours, and captivated the entire time. For parents with kids of all ages, (mine are 18), each room had interactive activities for them to learn interactively. A must-see in Flagstaff, AZ!

Very quiet place, great for kids to learn some history. It has some trails you can walk outside as well. Very interesting stuff but I wish it was more interactive. The gift shop prices were insanely highly. But overall a good experience.

I spent a morning at this wonderful, beautiful museum and plan to return in the future. The staff are welcoming, helpful and responsive to questions. There is accessible parking and the outside setting is beautiful. I was most interested in the history and ways of life of the first people and was delighted by the artifacts and detailed explanations. One of the distinctive aspects of the museum is its focus on history, art and their intersections. It would be easy to spend an entire day, immersed in this well presented discovery/learning environment. In sum, it was time well spent, a lifetime memory.

Took my two young daughters to check it out and they loved it! Lots of things they are aloud to touch and tons of information to teach them about culture and history. They loved the dinosaurs the most but they definitely learned some things and were very happy with the trip.

The visitor center was recommended by a sweet lady from one of the gift shops we visited downtown Flagstaff and i have to say stopping here is a MUST if you are visiting! Everyone was very sweet and super informative! 🫶🏼 Lastly, grab you a coupon for the Snowbowl Gondola while you are there! 😘

One of the best visitor centers I've ever been to. So many historical souvenirs and trinkets. Plenty of informational brochures and packets for tourists like myself. The train station is in the same building. Public restrooms are available. Parking is available. Your guides are available to lead you through downtown as well. The staff is nice and courteous. Best part is the train that goes around the top part of the store. 25 cents to press the button.

Maintains the ambience of a historic train station. Super pleasant and attentive staff. The best Route 66 souvenirs! Definitely a “must stop” for a visit if in Flagstaff.

Went inside at 4:45 pm, got some brochures, and started looking at the T-shirts. The clerk asked if I was ready to check out. I said “Not yet. You close in 10 minutes right?” And she looked at her watch and said “We close in 6 minutes. So you’ll have to check out now.” I walked out without purchasing anything.

Great place to stop and stretch your legs in Flagstaff. The staff is helpful and the visitors center is full of informative brochures. There are a few historical items on display and gift shop. This is also a working train station. I loved the train diorama and trains on display.

Very cute shop and info in the train station. You can sit and wait for one of those iconic American trains and the people are super nice. Tho it closes at 5 pm

Enjoyable discovery. Downtown area has lots of cafes, coffee shops and stores to check out amongst a collection of historic buildings. I like how many of the building had plaques describing the history of the building along with historic murals and photographs (Auto shop murals were very neat!) we stopping at the Amtrak train station which is also the visitor center with staff to describe local details, plenty of brochures and a gift shop with nice Route 66 memorabilia for sale. Parking was easy and lots to check out!

Beautiful city on Rt 66. Historic Old Town is loaded with good food, unique and adventurous fun, tons of shopping, great bars, and a rich history of Flagstaff. This is a great place to set up your base camp to travel to about a dozen adventures including The Grand Canyon.

Flagstaff is a great two hour escape from the heat and strip malls of Phoenix. Flagstaff has a vide that you don't often find in Arizona with a walkable downtown area filled with cute shops and amazing restaurants. Nice to see people out of their cars and walking around. Highly recommend this Arizona getaway.

It is a cute little downtown in Flagstaff. The downtown is clean and walkable. There are also many shops, restaurants, bars and hotels. Small but lively. A nice place to hangout with friends.

What a cool town. We went on Labor Day weekend and there was an art festival and Farmers market that we really enjoyed. Parking is kind of a hassle and expensive but otherwise a really great getaway.

Great for every age and every walk of life. Hardest part is finding parking. So many shops/stores, restaurants, brewery/pubs, ice cream and frozen yogurt shops, plus tons of hotels from historic to modern.

I'm not sure if I just expected something nicer or what but I was pretty disappointed. The drive out there is pleasant and scenic. The lower Lake Mary looked dried up and the Lake Mary we took pictures of was low and just really murky. Not sure if id want to come back and fish or anything when it warms up. Much better places in the area to spend your time at.

Sitting here in a hammock on the side of the lake is literally heaven on Earth. Puffy clouds, 80°. I never want this to stop

The water here always seems to be a little murky, but you don’t have a lot of choices in Flagstaff. I like to take my E-Foil here and sometimes a sunfish or a hobby cat. In the summer there seems to be a lot of people wake surfing which I enjoy poaching waves with my E-Foil surfboard It looks like they’re going to charge to park here again. It was nice last summer. I believe you can use your national parks pass, but I’m not 100% sure @TomThomas360

Anyone who thinks this lake is "beautiful" has never been to a real lake. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at most of the other reviews here. It's a mud puddle covered in inconsiderate boaters and full of invasive species. About as disgusting as a lake can get without being a literal pool of toxic waste

Changes season to season on whether there's 9s plenty of water or not, support services are minimal as is local cabins or air BNB, options Immediately nearby however they do exist and somewhat close just limited.. there is an RV park with decent air BNB options just outside the lake and a community and gas station about 10 minutes away. Very pretty area otherwise and especially so and busy with runners n the winter even with snow!! ❄️🌨️❄️

Wonderful ride! Cameron was very knowledgeable about the area and was very funny. Attentive to all our needs and helped us in every way he could. Definitely would recommend for families

AMAZING! My girlfriend and I took the one hour ride at Mormon Lake and were completely blown away by the experience. She had never been on a horse before and I hadn't ridden for decades. But our wrangler, Cameron, made it fun and easy. He was obviously quite experienced with horses. Beyond that, he was incredibly knowledgable about about the local area, history and wildlife. Most interesting was everything we learned from him about his tribe and their history. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a ride with the folks! It will be the ride of a lifetime!

I took 4 children on this ride at Mormon Lake and it was awesome, worth every penny. The workers/guides are the nicest people and really care for the guests. They make sure everyone is safe and comfortable. The horses are well behaved and calm. You will not be disappointed. Best experience on a horseback you’ll find.

Such a nice and peaceful ride…Robert was our guide and he did an amazing job making sure everyone in the group was good and gave some pretty interesting history while on the ride. Well taken care of horses and would highly recommend using them for your next ride.

Fantastic experience! Well mannered and trained horses, beautiful trails, incredibly nice guides, safe experience. We did the 90 minutes Navajo Spring ride and saw deer, squirrels, birds. They provided helmets ( which they disinfected between riders), and had water on hand.

Had a great time with our guide Robert. The scenery was beautiful, the horses were well taken care of and the 6 of us had a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

AZ High Mountain Trail Rides, a FAMILY OWNED business, was amazing! If you’re nervous about riding or have little experience, don’t be! Robert, my guide and wrangler, made me feel comfortable, safe, and kept me entertained while on the ride. My only concern was the lack of mounting block-- though Robert was able to help me up. The horses were well cared for and clearly loved. They have two locations-- Phoenix and near Mormon Lake. I chose the latter and the drive up from was beautiful and easy (don’t let the directions on the website scare you, my Waze app brought me right where I needed to be). Highly recommend!

The rangers and volunteers here are so kind and sweet. Loved this park so much. Love that its less crowded too. Ive been to a few with native dwellings. I plan to see all of them. This one is in the top 3. Beautiful views.

The history here is incredible, what a great place to visit. You need to know that it is not a quick in and out if you want to hike the whole trail, and there are a billion, or maybe 10 billion stairs. 😄 But it really is a good hike, read up on it a bit before you go so you can see the significance of this awesome place. The visitors center has restrooms, information, and a small gift shop. There is the Rim trail also which is shorter and flat, in case the stairs are an issue. Plenty of parking too, I highly recommend.

Wulnut Canyon was a surprise for me and I would recommend to visit this place. Amazing walk and tour through the Canyon. There's a parking place on the front and you pay the National Park entrance fee what is valid for next 7 days if you visit again or other things in National Park. It's not valid for the Grand Canyon, you pay for that separately.

A wonderful experience exploring ancient cliff dwellings in a spectacular setting. Great visitor center with helpful park staff to learn about the villages and the people who once lived there. There are two paved trails, The Rim Trail with great overviews, and the Island Trail, which was my favorite. The Island Trail has more than 700 steps, and it takes you right up to the dwellings.

A Hidden Gem on the Road: Walnut Canyon National Monument During a road trip, we discovered Walnut Canyon National Monument by surprise, and it turned out to be a truly beautiful and unexpected place. It's a slice of nature that hides from the highway, revealing a spectacular landscape with ancient ruins. A Place to Explore and Enjoy: The park is very well-organized and maintained. The facilities are clean, including the restrooms, and the staff is very friendly. Although it was a quick visit for us, we realized it's a place where you can stay as long as you like. There's a picnic area with breathtaking views of the canyon, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The site has a visitor center, a souvenir shop, and, most notably, trails that lead down into the canyon. These paths allow visitors to get a closer look at the ruins, which are like "houses" built into the canyon walls by past civilizations. Although we didn't have time to do these hikes, they looked safe and well-marked. A Worthwhile Destination: In summary, Walnut Canyon National Monument is a tranquil and beautiful place that is definitely worth visiting. It's a perfect addition to a road trip and a gem we hope to explore with more time in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place! The scenery is breathtaking and the trails are very well maintained. A special thank you to Ranger Lucy — she was so kind, caring, and incredibly patient with us, even though we arrived about 20 minutes before closing time. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel so welcome. Her dedication truly made our visit extra special. Highly recommend visiting this gem!

Walnut Canyon National Monument is absolutely stunning. It does not require a long hike and you can take in so much of the canyon with just a short walk. The staff here was so friendly and helpful. The views were stunning and very much worth stopping by.

Definitely one of my favorite parks. If you're going to be in the area, it's absolutely worth a stop. If you're looking for a spot to camp for free, basically all of the roads outside the park allow dispersed camping.

Beautiful crater with an interesting history as to its formation and magnitude. Trails at the base offer unique views.

Small, but wonderful park. It doesn't seem as over run with people as some ofvthe others. Very peaceful. It's a shame that so much of the park was burned in a fire in '22. Some of the trails are closed. Still some very interesting walks to take, getting up close the the lava. Beautiful views. Nice visitors center.

We were there on Dec. 4.2023. We had Ben hear back on April 2018. We found this place simply awesome . Seeing the lava flows. Around and the nice walk ways around the Crater part is really nice also have nice trials to walk on to . There where area when come in to park you can pull off and get a good Picture of the Sunset Crater . And the Mountains behind you when there they had snow on them . It was really pretty to see.

We love coming here, it's peaceful, has great trails and I love the "crunch- crunch" sounds when walking on the rocks of the lava flow. Beautiful!!

Neat place to observe volcano(s). Lots of plants growing in the lava remains and nice trails

Very cool! Glad I stopped to see it. The have it set up nicely. Even though you can on go out so far (to prevent humans from damaging it) you still can see how everything was setup and the way of life. The visitors center has a lot of information and items to buy (I got a mug).

Awesome sunrise and sunset shoots at wukoki Pueblo. Great sunrise at the Wuptaki pueblo, barely any ppl here, lovely dark sky park for astrophotography, bathrooms at most Pueblos, easy walking distance to view each Pueblo.

We drive to the park, but the park was closed. Looking some structure, sink hole and beautiful view.

Very cool ruins. The house structure was neat and my husband was very impressed with the blow hole that blows cold air.

Wupatki is a well preserved gem and a must visit place if you're interested in ruins. It is a place that gives you a true sense of what living must have been like in the harsh environment of the area. Never crowded and easy to get to. You could explore here all day and not seeing everything

We decided to drive through Wupatki, Az. It was really amazing to see these structures that were built so long ago still standing. You are allowed to walk on the ruins. The natural blow hole was interesting. The hat kept getting stuck on the bill. The rangers were so nice and informative. We saw a raven and it was really friendly too . Haha

What a great experience, from the pueblos to being able to hike in a lava field, this was awesome!! The "mothers breath" vent that blew COLD air, I did not want to leave!

It would be 5 stars - however, according to the Navajo Bureau of Tourism as of September 2025 = they are still closed. As it is often the sad case = tourists littered and did not respect the sacred ground

The place is closed and here's a bag of reasons why. People are filthy and disrespectful hooligans. What on earth, the discarded trash I found... We should all be doing this. I shouldn't have found so much trash

I’m sure it’s an amazing 5-star site but it’s permanently closed to the public due to littering and tourist not respecting the site. Posting this so others may know just in case, or try to get a closed tag on Google maps.

We drove all the way to Flagstaff from Show Low AZ. To get a computer. But is all they had was a few gaming computer. Nothing for a home office so all in all they didn't have what we were looking for.

...well worth the drive. Just east of Flagstaff. Good road most of the way. Last few miles are rough on cars. Definitely take an SUV or truck. The falls are from the melting snow so best viewed in March thru May. Also known as Chocolate Falls because the water is silty and looks like Chocolate. Easy to find by GPS.

Amazing place to view some giant waterfalls of mountain run off water. It’s free to get in and you just have to drive down a gravel road to get there. I see a lot of people throw their garbage and overloaded the trash cans here so I suggest not cleaning out your car at this location.

I was thankful to see it in March 2015 🥰🥰 soo beautiful and grand 😍 it was scary to see people at the bottom of the falls because i was like how did they get down there 🤣 and yes they was alot of trash on the sides of the falls , it was very sad but to think that they closed it now because of that , its ok 🥰👍 we are soo messy as a society 😝👎

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently visited The Creator in Arizona, and it was an unforgettable gorgeous, experience! The vast beauty of the wide-open spaces took my breath away, and the stunning views were nothing short of spectacular. The family-friendly visitor center was a great addition, providing informative displays and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely pack your own snacks and water- no food onsite. I also want to highlight the knowledgeable tour guides who made our visit even more enjoyable. They were passionate about the area and shared fascinating insights that truly enriched our experience. I highly recommend visiting The Creator for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Arizona!

We had a great visit to the Meteor Crater! The drive itself was beautiful on a cool Saturday morning - calm and pleasant with little traffic despite the rain warning. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared fascinating details about the crater’s history and science. The museum and 4D experience were engaging, and the highlight was getting to see and actually touch a real meteor - truly the star of the show! If you enjoy astronomy, you could easily spend the whole day here.

What a spectacularly massive site to see!! Even the little ones easily made it to the top. There are free water bottle filling stations and a great coffee shop. The children’s play area is neat. The gift shop is great too and even has meteor shards for sale. I’ll never forget the smell of the meteor chunk either-like a huge bag of nickels and iron. The amount of informational displays in the visitors center is phenomenal and fun! We’ll absolutely be back!!!

Visited 11/1/2025 Amazing to see - we were greeted with smiles and welcomed in. The building was clean the restrooms were clean very well kept. The grounds were beautiful. Getting to the crater (the view point) was steep walk the rails came in handy. The rails were nicely painted. They do have an elevator to assist getting to view point. The gift shop was great loved all the mineral rocks they do have space items also. They have tours, attractions, a little museum and other room for kids. It was an interesting. Place. Price 29.00 adult or each.

We had a a great time! The kids and husband loved it and I’m a space nerd so I really enjoyed this! I was like a kid in a candy shop! Just 20-30 minutes out side of flagstaff! Worth the money and the time! Worth the experience! There is soo much to do kids zone restaurant/coffee shop gift shop a 4D movie and a 3D ride! Hayden did the tour and was amazing he made the whole group laugh and he was very patient with our 5 year old answering ALL the questions/statements he asked! We highly recommend stopping for a visit if your around meter crater!!

Impromptu stop on our way to Vegas 🔥 Awesome addition to our road trip. We loved the facts shared at the site. The information gained from the discovery of that meteor crater that helped with discoveries world wide was game changing. Super cool. Glad we all had jackets! Happened to be raining and was pretty chilly out. Overall great. Worth the 31 dollars per person because I'm a nerd and like things like this.

I get it. It’s a hole in the ground, but somehow it’s more. If you’re interested in science this is a worthy stop. You can spend several hours here if you want, including hiking around the crater, but you can also get the highlights and views in an hour or so if you’re in a hurry. There are some interactive things for kids, including a 4D “ride” where the seats move around with a big screen to simulate flying into space. If you’re worried about motion sickness there are some seats that don’t move. There’s also a brief video that explains what happened there, and they offer guided tours (included with admission cost).

This museum is amazing. The amount of information that you can learn is endless. There is so much rich material history to explore. It is so important to support a place like this, I really appreciated the museum staff who helped answer questions about Winslow and its history.

The best part of my trip to Winslow was getting a tour in this museum. Standing on the corner was awesome, but the guide we had knew so much about everything on display, the history of the town, and really took the time to tell us everything. She was such a sweetheart. I definitely recommend having her as your guide through the museum.

I stumbled upon this museum by chance, and upon entering, I was amazed by the artifacts from previous generations. It's truly fascinating. Another thing I'd like everyone to experience here is the connection to our ancient roots. She's a local who's been here since birth, and I wish everyone who visits Winslow would take the time to explore its historical museum and greet her.

Nice little museum and information center. Staff gave us a map and highlighted areas of interest in town.
