The Blackhawk Museum is absolutely amazing! We've already been there twice and every time we are blown away. The animals inside are so realistic — it feels like you're seeing them in real life! Even though we are big animal lovers, we discovered so many species we had never even heard of before. It's such a fun and educational experience. Outside the museum, there are plenty of food options with restaurants and stores nearby, plus a great playground for kids. It’s the perfect place to spend a whole day with family. Highly recommend!

My son heard about the Blackhawk Museum from a friend, I was a little skeptica to visit since we had to drive an hour and 15 minutes, thankfully I was pleasantly surprised. What a fun place! The had a variety of displays. There is a car display, privately owned the owners are sharing with the museum. There are rare cars to see ip close,what a treat. There's an exhibit on China, the wild west, nature something for everybody. We didn't give ourselves enough time to explore the wild west, we need to go back. The staff were all very professional and helpful.

The museum hosted the San Ramon and Danville Chambers of Commerce for a fantastic networking mixer. It is a beautiful location for any event, and its exhibits are unique—no other museum in the East Bay can compare! Thank you for a really fun evening!

Absolutely amazed at the size of this museum, beautifully designed with incredibly detailed displays. Very clean , extremely friendly staff . There is a plaza with Plenty of little shops and restaurants and a playground for kids adjacent to Blackhawk museum.

Nice Place to visit. Special Concession for Senior citizen. Ticket once Purchased is valid for whole day.Personal collection made available to the public. The car section, China section and the wild west section are amazing. The African wood carvings section has a small collection, but it's also beautiful.

We had a large group picnic at Pena Adobe. It's a nice place. They had barbecue pits. Great place to sit and eat our lunch. Large grassy area. Bathrooms were clean. I really liked it. The only downside was it's pretty close to the freeway but didn't really seem to mess with our festivities. I know there's hiking and other things to do there but we never got to do it. I will be going back. They have a great garden and that's full of natural flowers.

A great find for a walk/hike to celebrate that spring has sprung and learn a bit about local history! This park is nestled in with the Lagoon Valley Park. Peña Adobe Park has the oldest structure in Solano County (as early as the 1840s). CA landmark #534. Museum and Adobe tours are the first Saturday of the month. Parking was easy during the week. Peña Adobe Park has a lot of shade and one can also reserve space at the picnic area. The only negative is that the I-80 juts up against the park so freeway noise seeps into the park. Trails connect to the grounds and I was able to go for a hike and see the green rolling hillside around me. Thank you Peña family for making this available. I will return!

Such a cool place. Cows wander everywhere as your hiking. The views are incredible.

A lovely spot for a picnic. I like to stop here when leaving the Bay Area. Its a neat place to walk around and read a little local history. There are now QR codes to enhance your self-guided tour. The restrooms and drinking fountains are always clean. There is even a fountain on the ground for dogs to get a drink.

Beautiful place, especially if you don't know where you're going(if you prefer to not pay attention to the trails) it's fun. Like you're lost in the wilderness. I could walk and hike this park for hours

Nice area to spend some time in. Around the pond is busy. Lots of ducks and geese and all they entail. I prefer the back trails. Not a lot of shade hiking, which can be an issue in Summer. I do like it around the old homestead the best. Lots of shade there.

The employees are doing the best with what they got. Typical amusement park food was over priced and under temperature. lol. At least they have over priced cold beer to soften the blow from the over priced room temperature food. The kids had fun and that’s what really matters. Thank you to the lifeguards. Without you guys all us parents would have to be on edge all day. 🛟💪🏽💪🏽

Great place to chill this blazing hot summer time. Take your whole family and friends and relax to the cool pools around its vicinity. Meet new friends, share great experiences. Clean surroundings, cold water, great cabana and shelter to stay-in. Snacks/foods was adjusted, before it was 3hours to take refills, now its 4hours. It was a fun experience!

We visited on 7/13/2025 and had a mostly good time. The kids had a good time in the wave pool, on the slides, etc. As others have said, they could do a better job moving people thru the slides more quickly and efficiently, but it was good enough for what it was. Also, the men’s bathroom by the end of the day was an unhygienic disaster. They really need a separate, dedicated changing area. The really odd thing is the food situation. Many places we went for food, we were regularly told that the menus were not accurate in showing what was actually available. The attached photo shows the entrees and says “Served with fries.” I read this to mean that all items on this screen were “entrees” and all included fries. I did four orders of pizza and four kids meals and none of them came with fries. When I asked about it, the cashier said that only the first two items came with fries. That is certainly not indicated in any way on this menu. It feels like a bait and switch. I then made a second purchase for two orders of fries and the cashier failed to produce a receipt for the order even though I asked her for it within seconds of paying. She looked around for the receipt and asked a coworker for help and they came up empty handed. She then shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. I was not happy and she knew it. When I got back to my cabana, I then noticed that my fry orders were of two different sizes. I paid the same amount for the two orders, why would they be different sizes? What is going on here? Between the inconsistent food quantities, inaccurate signage, high prices, and inability to get a receipt when requested, I couldn’t help but feel exploited. As you can see from the screens, we are paying a lot of money for food that is mediocre at best. They should at least update the digital signs so that they are accurate and the employees should deliver us a correct order and produce receipts when requested. I’m still giving this place three stars (really 2.5 stars feels more accurate) because I want to be fair and the experience, aside from the food and the bathroom, was fine (grading on a curve). However, if we’re going to be gouged on the food, at least be clear on what we actually are, and are not, getting for our money and make sure that everyone is able to get a receipt for every single purchase.

There are workers that look like they’d rather be somewhere else. Why are they there in the first place? It looks like they are getting paid to stand and stare at nothing. Especially in the kids slide areas. There are numerous times where the kids slam into each other because they don’t watch how many kids go down the slide. My nephews got hit in the back and I caught one of the times when it happened. Also if a worker asks a little kid if they are tall enough to ride the ride, is safety on the top of their mind? How can they ask a little kid? Shouldn’t they be the ones to check?

Great on a hot day. Get tix in advance online as they are cheaper. No food allowed. A small locker cost $11. Lines were long and not all the slides were in operation

Coming from Texas, this place lacks some things for us. It's small, 2 of the main rides were closed, the drop slide only one slide was working, I think it's beyond ridiculous that you have to rent out tubes for the day. Very little lay out chairs. On the positive side the park is very clean, the staff was really great.

My experience here was terrible to say at the least. I will not be returning. First of all, the food is unnecessarily expensive, almost all the big rides were closed, and the same songs were playing on repeat the whole entire day. I also rented a cabana for $250 which promised a ceiling fan and beverages, and NEITHER of them were fufilled. In addition, after the main pool was closed, there was a goose in the pool. The bathrooms are also beyond disgusting, and I am not over exaggerating. I am very unsatisfied with my stay and DO NOT RECOMMEND TO OTHERS.

Great place for kids to experience sky dive feel. We took both our kids and they loved it. You need to take the high flying ones vs standard one. Each flight is for 1min only. That’s the only disappointment side vs rest is all great as expected. Best is to go in group for full fun. Total Time like in and out will be around 1-2hrs. Appointment is recommended for weekend visit.

I've always wanted to try flying in an aerodynamic tunnel, ever since I jumped with parachute for the first time. Jumping with parachute is very scary, and it's a whole deal to do. Flying in a wind tunnel, on the other hand, feels very safe, it's pure joy without scary element of stepping of a flying plane. The instructors are awesome, I felt very relaxed and confident through the whole experience (which I wish was a little longer!) Flying high is worth additional $20, definitely recommend 👌🏻 Will come back for some advanced training for sure.

If you’re looking for a thrilling and unique experience, iFly San Francisco – Bay Area is the perfect destination! The indoor skydiving facility offers flight options of 1 or 2 minutes, and every participant goes through a brief “flight school” session with an instructor to prepare. Our instructor, Rick, was phenomenal—his energy, patience, and expertise made the experience both fun and safe. I highly recommend adding the High Fly option to your package, where the instructor takes you soaring up to the ceiling. It’s an exhilarating addition that really elevates (literally!) the experience. Although it’s a fairly pricey activity for the amount of time, the rush of “flying” and the overall excitement make it well worth it. The staff at iFly were friendly and efficient, and the facility itself is clean and well-organized. This is a great activity for all ages, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking to try something new. I left with a big smile and memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

We celebrated our son’s birthday at iFLY — an absolutely unforgettable experience filled with incredible emotions and a true wow effect for all the guests. Everything was super clean, and the party room was spacious. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. The instructor was incredibly patient with the kids and had a great sense of humor. Hosting the birthday there was the best decision we could’ve made!

Did the AFF prep here, had a great experience. Rick was my instructor and was great to work with. He gave me good coaching in the tunnel and good feedback afterwards so I had an idea of how I was doing and where I can improve. To maximize the experience I’d recommend watching a few videos on YT and doing a little studying so you can focus solely on the flying and not trying to remember everything. I did not, and felt like I could’ve gotten more out of it had I done some more prep on my end. Either way, great learning experience if you’re planning on doing AFF.

I recently took my husband to enjoy an iFly experience as a surprise, but the surprise ended up being for me. Upon arrival, we found the facility was full of children and young people. When I accessed your website, I had the impression that the experience was more focused on adults. However, overall, it seemed to be geared primarily toward younger participants. My husband, who is 43 years old, did not really enjoy the experience. Additionally, there were two groups scheduled in the same time slot, which meant he had to wait over 20 minutes between flights. I honestly feel that $120 for a one-minute "flight"—which is not really a flight—was very expensive and did not match the adult-focused experience portrayed in your website videos. I understand that first-time flyers undergo training, but I believe it would be helpful to separate groups by age or experience level. This would make the experience more enjoyable and suitable for adults. Overall, we were quite disappointed, and I hope this feedback can help improve the experience for future visitors.

The Oakland Zoo was awesome we been to a handful of zoos this has been my favorite so far. You have to buy your tickets online for a specific time pulling up around our designated time, parking and getting in was super easy. There is a lot of ground to cover we opted for going up the Gondola first up at the top we saw wolves, a jaguar, bears, and more they also have their cafe at the top up there which has an awesome view - it may be a little crazy trying to find a table as everyone is there with their family but this particular day weather was perfect so we sat outside and had an awesome view. Would definitely recommend. They have another little lift for $5 per person that takes you directly over the Lions - that was surreal they even let out a little roar while we were going over the top it was insane. There was so many animals it was awesome. They also had some cool reptiles and a little insect room. All in all would definitely recommend be ready to walk.

I feel we nailed it on our timing. We got there before they opened and were first in line. When we got inside we headed straight for the far end of the park and worked our way back. We were able to catch many animals being fed and almost all of them were out and about. We also didn't have to wait in line for the ride or wait to get close to the animals. The weather was perfect and the animals seemed to be putting on a show. The lions were roaring and playing, the monkeys and chimpanzees showing off, and more. It was a fantastic experience and a wonderfully kept up zoo. The animals seemed well taken care of. I value that.

I'm a teacher in San Francisco, and I'm always on the lookout for the best field trip experiences in the Bay Area. The Oakland Zoo has become one of our absolute favorites. Over the years, I've tried several of their educational options: the first year we booked a wildlife assembly (we were the only class there), the second year we participated in the ZooSchool program, and this year we explored the self-guided option. Each experience has been well-organized and engaging for students. In the past we never had time to ride the gondola or explore the zoo on our own so we never collected Zoo cards. My students this year loved collecting cards throughout the day, but what really stood out was an Oakland Zoo staff member who went above and beyond at the end of the day. He took the time to trade cards with my students and make the experience feel extra special. The Oakland Zoo is, in my opinion, far superior to the San Francisco Zoo in terms of both educational value and visitor experience. We'll definitely continue returning year after year. Highly recommend it for teachers, families, and anyone looking for a meaningful and memorable day at the zoo! I also attended glowfari for the first time last year and WOW! It is worth every penny. The decorations are up and it's looking EPIC this year.

It's a good Zoo, but the access for people walking is difficult. The lower entrance was closed and we have to walk the road with all the cars. There is a "sidewalk", but we had to walk around it using the road most of the time. The installations are great and big for the animals, bigger than other zoos, and there is enrichment. The workers were really nice and enthusiast, explaining facts about the animals and the conservation efforts. The views from the California Trail are excellent, you can see Oakland and San Francisco skylines.

Had an amazing experience! There are so many fun learning areas and awesome playgrounds for the kids. The animals were super active, the gondola rides were a bonus, and the bay views were the cherry on top. Definitely a place we’ll visit again!

It was my first time to Oakland zoo and it was such a fun time! We went around 1pm on a Saturday, it was pretty hot and luckily some animals were very active! Favorite exhibit was grizzly bears, wolves, giraffes, we went to 3 different bear exhibits and they were all so cute. Definitely take the sky ride! We took it and were able to see sleeping lions resting underneath the shade further back in their exhibit. If we didn’t take the sky ride, we definitely wouldn’t have been able to see them. It also has great views of the bay! We also did the train ride- this one took a bit long to get on as there were so many families and large parties. This is the only way to access wallabies and emus. It was fun to see emus up close- but maybe would skip if you’re short on time and the train line is too long. Definitely would come back again to enjoy the park- who doesn’t love animals?

I have loved the Oakland zoo forever, for their top-notch habitats, husbandry, and ethics. But today I had such a unique experience and felt like I needed to leave a review. I went with my family around opening this morning, and shortly after we took the gondola up to the upper zoo area, it had to be temporarily shut down for safety. The staff (specifically the EMT) checked in with us regularly to answer our questions (like if the cafe would still be opening with only a small handful of people up there- it did! And when the shuttles would be coming to take us down). It was kinda fun to have a more "private" experience at the zoo since nobody else was able to come up, and to get to see the veterinary hospital in a normally private section of the zoo as the shuttle took us back down. But the point of my review is just how wonderfully all the staff handled the weird situation (and my in-law's redundent questions, haha). Definitely eat at the cafe- it was yummy and the outdoor view over the bay was beautiful. Unfortunately, the gift shop is currently closed for construction.

We arrived on a Saturday around 10 AM, and there were already many people in the park. Since the park is quite large, it didn’t feel crowded. We chose the Stream Trail, which is a loop trail. It took us about two hours to complete the loop. Most of the trail is shaded, making it very comfortable on a summer day. There is approximately a 30-minute hike uphill, so I recommend carrying a hiking stick for those who may have balance issues. The trail itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with lots of redwood trees, and most hikers were very friendly and courteous. There are plenty of clean restrooms at the trailhead, and I highly suggest using the restroom before starting the hike. Additionally, there are several large parking lots, and we had no trouble finding a parking space.

Kimmy and I hiked here for time. We both impressed. Long paved trails with bathroom and water stations along path. Trail gently sloping and easy to walk. If you are more adventures, review map at trail head. Highly recommend. Kimmy gives 2 paws 🐾 up.

Love this place. Taken my mom and friends and everyone enjoyed. There are some bugs so bring spray and you can't get lost all the paths ends up leading you back out just remember if you go up come back down. Beautiful trees and birds and sometimes you can hear the creek running and it's so nice. There's lots of parking and the park stays open late and it's free after 5pm so it's nice in the summer to have 3hrs or hike or outside time before dark. I've met some really interesting people some from New York even a cat that's famous on Instagram. There's dogs and they are supposed to be in leashes but not always just be careful and keep an eye out. There's a ton of bathrooms. The air is so great I always feel 1000x better each time I go.

Beautiful redwood park. Wide paths. Saw bike riders there. Lots of bathrooms. Nature wonder land. Free parking during the week. Great place to get a nice hike in and de stress. Passed by a playground. Dogs on leashes! Passed by a picnic area.

Beautiful hiking trail with lots of large Red wood trees which makes it shady and cool in hot summer days. You may see some lady birds and squirrels. Horse riders, runners and hikers share the same trail.

Beautiful park and great place to go for a walk and enjoy the nice weather! Took a quick trip to Oakland and went here to see the trees and took a nice walk. Very nice and clean park to visit!

For being to close and easy to get to it’s great to enjoy some nice trails with pretty views. I didn’t plan well so just went out and back about 3 miles and it was nice. Probably a good idea to look at all the different trails and plan a route but even just wandering was nice.

Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is, overall, a nicely designed park that offers an interesting mix of thrill rides, family attractions, and animal exhibits – somewhere between a zoo and a theme park. 🎢🦓 The park is clean, well laid out, and has something for everyone. Up until about 5 PM, I had a really good time – great atmosphere, nice weather, and a fun day overall. One big plus was the Oktoberfest event that happened during my visit. 🍺 Of course, it doesn’t quite reach the level of a real German Oktoberfest, but I have to give them credit – they put a lot of effort into making it feel authentic with themed decorations, music, and matching food and beer. It was a really fun and well-done touch that added to the experience. 🎶🥨 And I say that as a German. Unfortunately, things went downhill later in the evening. I went across the street to check in at my hotel and tried to re-enter the park at 6:10 PM for the Halloween event, but was denied re-entry because of a park policy stating that guests can only re-enter until 6:00 PM. The park wasn’t even close to being full, so the rule felt unnecessary and inflexible. Even after speaking with a supervisor, there was no exception, no understanding, no real effort to help. That’s sadly the kind of poor customer service Six Flags is known for – sticking rigidly to rules instead of showing flexibility or basic guest consideration. It’s especially disappointing because I would have gladly spent more time (and money) in the park that evening, especially with the Halloween and Oktoberfest activities going on. On top of that, the ride operations were, as usual for Six Flags, very slow and inefficient – dispatches often took five to seven minutes per train, which kills the pacing of the day and causes unnecessary waits. Bottom line: A nice park overall, with an interesting mix of rides and animals and a well-organized Oktoberfest that showed real effort and heart. But the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left a bad impression. With better operations and a more guest-friendly attitude, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom could easily be a top-tier park – unfortunately, this visit left me with mixed feelings and just two stars.

Fright Fest was fun and the Halloween decorations were really good! They turned on fog machines as soon as it got dark and had scary characters walking around. My son had soo much fun it was like being in a real haunted graveyard. It was a long walk from the parking lot to get to entrance I suggest dropping people off by the front. They have great roller coasters. We rented a locker for $22 which was soo helpful. The average wait for all rides was 45 min to 2 hours so that was tough for a group of boys under 12 yo. If the lines were quicker I would give it 5/5. It's a long walk back to the parking lot.

I had a great time at Six Flags even though a lot of the reviews I see are negative. Good: - We got the FLASH Premium pass and it was absolutely the right call - we barely waited in line, and when the Batman ride opened at night we got on after about 15 min in line instead of 90 minutes - We went for the Fright Fest as well, and the mazes were well done! I liked the haunted mansion the best, club fear wasn't that great since it was very empty and not as many actors inside. The spooky vibes were great and the actors seemed to have a good time - My favorite rides were the Joker, Batman, and the Wonder Woman Lasso ride, that's definitely the longest ride. Superman was also high thrill. - The park wasn't super busy on a Saturday, and parking was easy as well. Very walkable - Dolphin show had cool tricks, but the talk track is definitely for kids Bad: - Food is really expensive, $20 for basically a single slice of pizza and salad - Gets really hot during the day, but cool during the night so bring layers Overall this was a really great experience and would come again

What a mighty park for its size! Good variety of roller coasters and friendly park staff. Lines are long as usual but if you can afford a flash pass it makes the day that much more enjoyable. The cool thing is they have a mini zoo in the back of the park. The animals were so cool to look at and offered a nice change to the loud and hectic front of the park.

Great park! Grab a flash pass if you're visiting for the day, they have some fantastic coasters that you'll want to ride multiple times! Scare Feat was meh, I wouldn't pay for any of the mazes again, but it was great to ride their iconic coasters at night.

It use.to be a great place for rides and animals, but it's depressing to see less animals and expensive to eat, perhaps they offer more over the summer. I went in late October, only offered the dolphin and walrus show, dolphin show was cute, the walrus show was boring. The aquarium is a joke, like 1 small shark, 1 or 2 nurse shark, a handful of big fish. The cheetahs were active though and plenty of them compared to other animals. A lunch of burger, fries and a drink for one person is 30! Funnel.fries were good but 17 bucks is crazy. They don't take cash

It's decent. Some rides gave me a headache and would not recommend. Food is decently price and around the same price you'd get at any other cedar fair parks. Their scare fest is really small and very wimpy than from what I've expected. But overall, their sea lion and dolphin shows were great!

The Ferry Building has my favorite coffee shop in it as well as a top room, so it's a social hangout spot while you wait for the ferry to arrive. I've only used the ferry itself once, and it was an easy experience. It can get EXTREMELY busy, so make sure to give yourself plenty of time. My favorite thing about the ferry building? THE VIEWS. The whole area is beautiful. It's right across the water from Mare Island, which make for beautiful scenery. Make sure to stay and walk around and enjoy the waterfront.

Can’t complain, fast, efficient , and quiet boat, only thing I can add is that they should and NEED to clean the windows so we can actually see out to the ocean

We love taking the Ferry from the Vallejo Ferry Building. It’s the perfect travel experience into San Francisco. There is a walkway along the water, a nice coffee shop, brewery and restaurants for convenience while waiting to catch the ferry.

It’s an amazing adventure to get on this. Minus point is the size of the ship is kinda small.

Absolutely avoid parking in the assigned parking area! It’s not worth it. You might as well drive to San Francisco yourself. My family and I drove down 3 hours for a Giants game. We thought taking the fairy would be fun. Came back and our Cadillac converter was stolen from our car. This WAS DONE IN PURE DAYLIGHT. This place definitely lacks security. There is absolutely no security cameras. Sketchy people parked all around that will sit there for hours watching people as they leave. Homeless tents everywhere and doubled the 3 hours we were gone. Last time we choose to go. Environment is not safe.

The Ferry ride was fine. We parked in Vallejo and took the Ferry to SF , and stayed 3 nights. We came back and our car was broken into. Broke the small window in the back. Nothing was stolen but they went through my cargo bag.

This was lots of fun. I can see why people chose this method of transportation over BART! It was spacious, clean, there were bathrooms, had a great view, you can eat and drink on the ferry too! I don't know why it took me so long to try this. It was a little more expensive than other forms of commuting, but definitely worth it! On the return trip, there was a Ferry employee that told us stories and made everyone laugh. It was great weather and lots of fun to sit outside and watch the water! I don't ever want to take BART to get to San Francisco again! Once it got dark, it was such a treat to enjoy the lights from the deck. I would like to ride the ferry every day.

CJ was so informative and fascinating to listen to. I was designated driver for this winery so can't speak to the wine (my girlfriends liked it!), but I loved the experience and would happily return.

Great wineries! It was a blast to come over for their wine tasting! We were introduced about how the wines were made, the fire, and the contacts the winery made with the farmers. Such a great amount of knowledge! The wines here were extremely good. The Chardonnay and the white wines were pretty standard, with some of the mixing ones standing out as having a great ore&after taste. The ones I like the most were the 2011 mix, as it gave a little bit of bitterness initially, but it went away quickly to leave on the fruit flavors. The popular rose was fine, but a little sour and not outstanding for me. The estate was fantastic. It was definitely a very good made with little taste of alcohol, but yet you can tell the wine was deep and strong. The fruit ness of the grape mixed really well with everything else, giving you a great aroma as well as the richness of the grape - simply a condensed feeling. We had a fun blind tasting event suggested by the staff. We enjoyed it a lot and were offered with some sweet wines later on! Their sweet wine was on point, not as sweet as the ice wines I had in Canada so I bought two back. Fantastic experience in a great yard. Love it a lot!

Last day for Ryan but we super enjoyed his knowledge of grapes. Loved the samples we tried and got a couple bottles to go.

Had a lovely time! It felt really mellow there and we had a view to look at while we sampled wine. I did the cab flight, which had some really great tasting wines. Rose was super friendly and got us a last minute appointment.

The fantastic wines were our second favorite thing about Judd's Hill. Our host CJ was first - a great educator, storyteller and comedienne.

We had such a great time at our tasting today! Todd was very friendly and gave us a personalized tasting. We learned a lot about the different varieties and some history of the valley. The wines were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Our experience at Judd's hill is the highlight of our entire vacation in Napa. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Todd, and he gave us the most personal and intimate wine tasting experience we have ever had. He stayed with us for 2 hours, leaving only to grab more wine. He is funny, charming and knowledgeable, and we learned so much from him. We enjoyed our experience so much that we came back the next day for the "make your own blend" session. It was unique in that we could take samples directly from the barrel and create a red blend that was specific to our palate. We even got to design the label on the bottle. These personal bottles (along with our picture holding them in the vineyard) will be the centrepiece of our cellar. Thanks Todd!

A very nice place to visit. You can join as member or pay when you visit. I have been here couple of times mostly summer. Yesterday visit was nice as it has Halloween 🎃 theme and trolls. It was a nice walking under the on and off rain and warm. This place is nice to visit with ftiends and families and has walking trail beside the garden.

We’ve been members for years and experienced a number of special events. Nightfall and the Trolls did not disappoint! The attention to detail and special decor make every visit a true joy! We highly recommend visiting anytime as every season brings something new and special to see.

A splendid walk. Walk in a park-like setting to see amazing trolls, gorgeous gardens and a bountiful Mansion. Accessibility paths available. Parking for the special events can be a bit tight so be patient or early. They're Halloween seasons had lots of pumpkins to enjoy for families. Many little playgrounds to climb around on too. I hope the trolls do save the humans.

The gardens are wonderful. Well maintained. Excellent place to see mature plants and get a better idea of how they will be in your gardens. Lovely place to spend an afternoon. There are trails that are fairly easy. We enjoyed walking through the redwoods, over the creek, and being in the quiet spaces of the woods. There’s a nice area to have a picnic as well.

The gardens are absolutely stunning. The pathways are very walkable and there's plenty of benches if you need to sit for a minute, we went on a warm day. After 2 hours we viewed only about a quarter of the grounds and the full portion of the house that was open. The house was opulent but inviting. There was a casual grace to the rooms that made it seem very comfortable. I can imagine what living there would have looked like. The task specific kitchen areas were to be envied. Wowza! It would have been wonderful if more of the home was viewable. The experience could be improved if they added additional restroom locations. We had an issue with admission. We paid at one entrance but the restrooms were outside the ticket location for a different entrance. We used it ans walked back k and and were stopped. The woman at the booth We purchased admission from forgot to give us wristbands. It should have been a simple fix, we had an email confirmation but the gal who stopped us was really rude about it as if we were sneaking in. After we showed her the email proof she never even bothered to apologize for her attitude.

Beautiful location for the family. The Trolls exhibit was so much fun for the little to find. Walking to the gardens was pleasant and an adventure to stroll the different parts of the garden...put your feet in the pool. There was even a flower shop to buy plants and garden items. There are restrooms throughout the gardens, and they are very nice. The staff is really friendly.

I absolutely LOVE Filoli gardens!!! I just wish they had a better bar area. We went last week and thought that they would already have mulled wine and didn't 😔💔 I hope im the future they have more drinking choices especially for winter: mulled wine, hot cider, hot authentic chocolate versus powder, hot chestnuts like in Europe , etc etc 🙏🍷🍷🍫🍫🌰🌰

Very nice winery but the tasting was a little commercialized compared to others. The location is located near a highway but the grounds were beautiful. The views were nice as well. The tasting was average as we shared a waiter who explained the wines but would end up having to leave to help other tables. We sat with many others. The wine was pretty good and the Charcuterie we ordered was good.

Domaine Carneros is known for their bubbly, but they also have fantastic Pinot Noirs. The grounds are absolutely gorgeous and the perfect single stop before hitting DT Napa so my parents from out of town could experience the beauty of Napa Vineyards. The service was wonderful and we were so happy with how tastings were executed: they bring all the glasses and wines out together, pour each glass one at a time and give their spiel for each one as they are pouring, and then they leave you to enjoy each one at your own pace (as opposed to pouring them one at a time and constantly interrupting your group convo/not allowing you to tasting each one to decide which is your favorite) highly recommend if you like bubbly or pinot noir!

Very beautiful place. I believe our waiter was named Neil. He has some amazing green eyes! He was friendly and helpful. Great explanations.od the wine and the Peruvian pairing. It was truly just "bites.". So eat before you go! We ordered charcuterie as well, but still ended up going down the street to get food after. I definitely could have eaten a whole bowl of the stew!

My visit to Domaine Carneros was absolutely lovely. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable—they took their time explaining each wine in our tasting flight, which made the experience both fun and informative. The tasting room had a calm and elegant atmosphere with beautiful vineyard views through the windows. It felt peaceful and relaxing the entire time. The wines were excellent, especially the sparkling ones, and the small cheese and snack platter was a nice surprise (I honestly can’t remember if I ordered it or not!). The place was clearly popular, but it never felt crowded. I’ll definitely come back again—and yes, I’m including a video because pictures alone can’t capture how nice it was!

Great experience. I strongly suggest a tasting room reservation as this place is usually packed. And aim for late afternoon, this is when things slow down a bit. Bring a camera or charge your phone because there are great photo opportunities as you make your way up the stair. Yes, I just said stairs, and there are quite a few of them, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Everyone was able to choose their own flight selection, we paired it with the caviar flight and charcuterie board. And the food tasted amazing. We bought the mimosa sugar cubes on our way in and trust, they helped with some of the flight samples. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (we opted for the indoor seating, and lucked up and landed a spot next to the blazing fireplace). Overall we had a great time, and will definitely be visiting again soon. If you have never been this is definitely one to add to your bucket list.

This was the first winery i visited on my Napa trip and it was a great way to start, i think if i ended with it i may have been underwhelmed. The location is gorgeous and perfect for photos, the lighting is perfect. The pours are generous and i enjoyed all of the wine we got to try. They have food available to add on, we got their charcuterie board and it was pretty overpriced but it paired well with the wine. The service was okay, it took a while for anyone to help us and our waiter spilled wine and water while pouring a few times. Overall, this was a fun time and it was on the cheaper side for a wine tasting so it was definitely worth it!

The inclusion of winery-only selections in the tasting menu was a highlight, offering a unique opportunity to savor wines not available in retail. While the main winery north of Napa is closed for renovation and additions we went to the tasting room at Arch and Tower in downtown Napa. Our host was very knowledgeable and gave us great regional information. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the wine quality since Mondavi is a big “grocery store brand” wine. The options in the tasting were either Mondavi Estate wines or exclusive to their wine club / tasting rooms.

Must-go winery and never goes wrong! Their souvenir shop was wonderfully renovated during pandemic. I bought their wine opener(great quality with wooden box) as a gift for multiple times🎁

Gone are the days you can just pull up at a winery or tasting house without a reservation. We wanted to check out the grounds as we were early for another reserved tasting nearby. It’s beautiful and spacious. Though we were not able to go inside-the outside grounds were equally scenic and gorgeous

One of the most famous winery in Napa valley. Tasting was excellent. Wines were awesome and it was more pleasant thanks to our wine expert Vincent. Our family spent a wonderful time here! We bought 3 bottles of wines we've tasted and got 15% off. Thanks again for making a precious memory for our family.

Wine boutique had very little variety. Only two reds and two whites available for sale. They sell it at Costco for the same price. And visitors are only allowed in the shop. You must book a tasting to have permission to walk the winery. Not even customers can. Waste of time.

We had a fantastic experience at Cakebread. We originally booked just a wine tasting but when they saw it was a birthday celebration we got upgraded to the food and wine experience and we loved every second. Our guide, Carl, was so knowledgeable and made the most of our time. The food and wine pairings were expertly curated and absolutely delicious. It was so neat to see the facility, grapes, gardens, and barrels. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a worthwhile visit.

We traveled to Napa from Tennessee and Cakebread Cellars was one of the wineries recommended to us. We toured the site, and our host/guide (Kathy Martin) was amazing! This is my favorite winery thus far. It's still family owned, which I love. The walking tour was incredibly informative and the wines are wonderful. The building and grounds are so beautifully curated, too. Definitely do the walking tour, at a minimum. You must make reservations. Request Kathy Martin!

We visited Cakebread Cellars today and did a tour with Kathy Martin. She was absolutely made our trip! She was so personable, informative and fun! I cannot recommend her enough, and if we ever come back I hope we see her again!

Many years ago (in the 90's) at a nice restaurant we saw Cakebread Chardonnay. At $100 for a bottle it was really above our price range, we'd never heard of it but were celebrating an anniversary and decided to splurge. It made the dinner and our celebration very special. Through the years we would order it when dining out on special occasions like when we went to NYC upon my return from the war in Iraq in 2003. We were having brunch in the Boat House in Central Park and again, your wine made everything that much better. This week when we came to Napa to explore the one winery we had to visit was yours. We took the tour and Jeff made the tour wonderful and it was awesome to see where the wine that has touched our lives over the year comes from. Thanks' for the memories.

We had a fantastic time at Cakebread with our wonderful guide for our tasting, Kathy. We were visiting Napa with our 5 month old so Cakebread was one of the few family-friendly wineries that welcomed and accommodated all ages. Kathy was very knowledgeable not only about the wine, the Cakebread family and their journey into winemaking but also the rich history of Napa being a local herself. She was so sweet with our son and the other children who were also part of the family tasting. It was impressive how she was both leading the tasting for the adults but also would point out a few fun elements for the kids to keep them engaged and entertained like looking for the frogs in the fountain or telling them about the sheep that would come once a year to eat the grass. Kathy knew all the best spots for photos, answered all our questions with enthusiasm, and most of all, her passion for Napa wine really added to the experience. Thank you Kathy for an amazing tasting experience at Cakebread. Would highly recommend Cakebread and Kathy, and we look forward to coming back again as a family.

This was quite a nice section of San Fran with the Ferry Building, the Port of San Fran and the markets / food sections. There's a couple of street shops too which had some unique items which was cool. The food markets are not too bad although some were closing up at 5pm on a weekday. There is a bit of homeless action going on down there though so whilst we didn't feel unsafe or anything - it's something to be aware of especially if you are tourists. I probably wouldn't be walking around at night which is a shame as it looks like it would be beautiful then. Walking there or catching the train is quite easy. There are ferries taking you to Oakland which we didn't do but looked worthwhile (we just couldn't find a reason worth going there). We ended up walking up The Embarcadero which was really nice and easy to walk. We nearly ended up all the way back at the Fisherman's Wharf in 30 minutes or so.

Beautiful place to walk around. The whole area is just really nice — lots of shops, lots of food, and plenty of spots to sit down and take in the views. It’s also super close to Pier 39, which makes exploring both really easy. I’d definitely come back again and spend more time here. Highly recommended.

My first time taken a ferry since I became an adult. It was incredible! The staff was super friendly i met Dj cheerful attitude has a way of brightening the room. His optimism and good humor create a more pleasant atmosphere for everyone around them. He has a welcoming smile."I have no doubt Dj will continue to be a positive influence in all his future endeavors." The ride was peaceful! The water was liberating! I'd be definitely,be riding the ferry more often.

The Ferry Building is a must-visit in San Francisco with so many great food options and local shops all under one roof. The farmers’ market is lively and full of fresh produce, and the views of the Bay Bridge make it extra special. It’s a bit pricey, but the quality and atmosphere make it worth the trip.

It's a nice place on seashore where you can do good shopping in ferry building shops and can have some awesome snacks with coffee. Behind the ferry building, it's a very scenic place to view the cable bridge and also city's skyline. There is Mahatma Gandhi's statue also behind the ferry building. As an Indian, it was a proud moment for me to find this statue here. His message written below the statue is so much relevant in today's world of wars between the various countries. There is a good sitting area behind the ferry building.

How has this place not yet been ruined? This whole neighborhood tho, has mostly prevented/blocked/crushed Market/Tenderloin drift. If your compassion excludes helpful structure, it's just toxic "charity" not compassion.

Overall, I liked everything, but the area around the building wasn't perfectly clean, and there were queues in the toilets, too, and they weren't very clean. Overall, I had a good impression, and of course, there were quite a lot of people everywhere.

Sea lions, sunsets, and a lively boardwalk vibe Pier 39 is one of those places that instantly feels alive, a mix of sea breeze, music, and the occasional bark of a sea lion echoing from the docks. I didn’t need to buy any tickets in advance; the main attraction, the sea lions, are free to watch if you find a good spot by the water. It’s one of those simple yet memorable moments where you just stand there, camera in hand, and enjoy their lazy, sun-bathing charm. The pier itself is full of options, cozy restaurants, souvenir shops, ice-cream stands, and smoothie bars. I didn’t get to try everything, but everything I did try, from snacks to smoothies, was genuinely good. The staff were friendly and helpful everywhere we stopped, which made the whole experience even better. Nearby, there are a few attractions like the Ferris wheel and some boat tours that might require tickets, but they’re optional. Honestly, just walking around the pier at sunset already feels like an experience on its own. If you’re coming by scooter or bike, I’d recommend checking how busy it is first. Scooters are manageable, but on crowded days, maneuvering a bike could be tricky. All in all, Pier 39 is more than just a tourist stop, it’s a place to slow down, take in the bay air, and feel the pulse of San Francisco by the water. 🌅

My family and I really enjoyed our day stroll at Pier 39. The weather was perfect when we visited! It was a bit crowded in some areas, but we still found plenty of nice spots to sightsee and walk around. There are lots of great food options and cafés to choose from. Finding a restroom was a bit of a challenge, but overall, it was still a wonderful day!

Fun place to spend a little time. Easy shopping. Got to see some sea lions and had a yummy bowl of chowder in a bread bowl and freshly made donuts. Great view of Alcatraz at one end and San Francisco at the other!

The typical place for all tourists to visit at least once. A few carnival-style rides & attractions for kids, Bubbz Gumps restaurant a Mexican & surf themed casual restaurant & bar ,biscoff cafe , Hard Rock cafe. There is a In & Out burger joint just a little further back past the ship wheel.

Visiting fisherman’s wharf was probably the highlight of our San Francisco trip. So many cute shops, the best place to buy any souvenirs for your family and friends. The Biscoff Café was so good as well as the ice cream shops. Highly recommend!

A very educational Museum with lots of information on the fantastic little cable cars you can get throughout San Francisco. Highly recommend you ride the Cable Cars while you're here, they're incredible fun, and a good way to see the sights too. We paid $35 on the MUNI app for unlimited rides on both Buses and Cable Cars. If you ride the Cars and are then interested in learning how they work, then visiting this FREE museum is a must!

💚 Fans infrastructure or public transportation history will be in heaven at this museum. 💚 Visitors are able to fully view the mechanics, in operation, powering the cable car lines throughout the city. 💚 The museum is full of displays and historic photos. Many with the sole purpose of explaining how the cable cars operate. 💚 Great gift shop! 💚 FREE admission!

Amazing displays, we can see the infrastructure powering the cable cars around town, as well as displays outlining the history of cable cars around San Francisco. this place is great for anyone who is interested in history and San Francisco!

If you hate interesting in learning first hand how the cable cars work or are in the area, the visit is worth the time. The entrance is free and the museum provides easy to understand information regarding the operation of cable cars of San Francisco. There is a nice souvenir shop in the museum too.

I was blown away at the complexity of the cable car system and the inside view you get here. There are many wonderful stories about the cable cars here, you will receive quite an education by spending an hour or two here.

Wow, that was such a great experience! It’s totally free to get in, and you get a super cool look into the history of San Francisco’s cable cars.

Great layout, free admission, neat to see how it all works. Good little gift shop, but they only took cash and we had to put back dome of the items we wanted to buy because we didn't have enough money on us.

This is a must-see attraction in SF. Everyone loves to see or drive down this path. The view was gorgeous from the top, and the flowers were in bloom. Great pics to take, and I preferred to walk to really take it all in.

This is my third time to this attraction. The scenery here is still pleasing to the eye. I like to see tourists from all over the world being intoxicated in this way. It is very romantic.

This is a must see. Everyone should experience this beautiful street. We walked down and back up and also drove down this street. Highly recommend doing all three. The flowers we so amazingly beautiful.

Great to see absolute disaster cars everywhere. Honking. People taking illegal turns I don’t blame them some of the time it’s a nightmare to get down the road. I got there from the top maybe it’s better at the bottom? But I didn’t bother was complete mess. The traffic cops do there best but it’s overwhelming.

If you are in San Fran, you have to visit Alcatraz. I used Alcatraz City Cruises and I recommend them. It is a smooth process getting to and leaving the island. Once you are on the island, you can take a guided audio tour or explore on your own. From a historical perspective, it is worth checking out and it gives you a really new perspective on how the "Rock" was used and how it has evolved over time. Being there and experiencing it is a lot different than reading about it or watching shows about it.

This tour was a lot of fun. Enjoyed learning the history of the prison and hearing stories of other things that happened. A nice ride out and great photo ops. Book your tickets ahead and plan on spending at least 2 hours to do the walking tour and self guided tour.

Loved it! The audio tour was really great and informative! Got a full walk through with the tour then you are free to wonder around and see more of the Island and can always go back and look at the block all over again if you want! Was a great time!! We did the night tour and it wasnt to packed.

If you visit San Francisco this tour is a must. Recommend going on the Park ranger walk. It's very informative. The audio tour, while in the cell house was also well done. Park staff were very friendly. Take the time to enjoy this national land mark.

We opted for the Behind The Scenes Tour and are very glad we did! We've been to numerous prison, penitentiary and jail museums and wanted to see all of this one, the alpha omega of prisons! The tour includes places not accessible without a guide so we got to see more than most. Our tour guide was amazing, he was very knowledgeable of both the military prison and the federal prison eras which was greatly appreciated. He eagerly answered questions and happily elaborated on any areas requested. Getting to go underground through the tunnel and mote and learning how they were used during both eras was fascinating. The behind the scenes part is pretty quick, we were whisked from one spot to the next and although our guide said he'd wait until the entire group was reassembled, he started way before we all got there! Had to be super quick up those steep hills! Also included was the Night Tour and the audio tour so it's a complete look at Alcatraz! We thoroughly enjoyed the Indian Occupation exhibit and highly recommend going through all of it, it's quite moving.

We visited Alcatraz recently and really enjoyed the experience! The boat ride was pleasant, and once on the island we had access to a very informative audio guide that helped us understand how the prison operated during its time of use. I especially liked that you had to walk and listen at the same time, it made the visit more immersive! The ticket was a bit expensive, but we’re really glad we went!

Absolutely beautiful building and proiperty with mediocre wine and service. We came earlier in the day and thoroughly enjoyed an olive oil tasting at their “Pressed” location so we expected similar service here, but it fell short. The wines were decent, we bought a case, but there were only 2 we liked enough to buy. The guy who did our tasting seemed disconnected from us, though he tried to be pleasant. Overall, we weren’t impressed.

We visited this winery on a Wednesday and were able to walk in for a wine tasting without a reservation. Our server was very knowledgeable and gave us information on each wine, where the grapes grew, and other interesting facts about the family. We ordered a charcuterie board and also sampled the olive oils in their olive oil shop. We stayed in Sausalito and were able to get here in about 45 minutes.

Beautiful place to spend an afternoon tasting wines. We found the place while driving and were not disappointed. They have gorgeous outdoor seating where we enjoyed their wine looking out the vast field of the vineyard. Their food menu is not extensive yet the choices will fill you up. We ended up ordering pizza with bruschetta. We were a group of 4 so we tried their white & red wine. The prices were reasonable for a bottle and the wines were really good. You can bring kids but i would recommend making an adult trip to this place.

We had a great experience at the bar with the bartenders Sam and Tim, after taking a look in the shop there and trying some pretty spectacular olive oils and balsamics. I bought a 6 pack that I put together with my favorites and just know I will be bummed when I run out, being from Chicago will make it hard to just go and stock up again but wow their carmalized onion balsamic is beyond words. I ended up joining the wine club because of how amazing the service and wine was. The chocolate wine shot was fun. The wine is poured directly into a piece of chocolate. Beautiful property and A++ would recommend.

I'm from Utah. This is my favorite winery, hands down. Everyone is so accommodating, the wine is fantastic, the grounds are phenomenal, and the experience is always the best. I bring cases of wine home because I can't get it in Utah. I could rattle off a handful of different times where everyone; like literally the whole winery went above and beyond to appease me. I visit every year. Multiple times in some years, and Jacuzzi is just always a high mark above...everywhere else. *FAVORITE*

We came without a reservation and they were so kind to fit us in, very beautiful property, loved the bread oil tasting, the chocolate shot was fun and Derek was great! Would definitely come back!

We came to Cline Family Cellars on a Monday during vacation with our kids — and came back again on Tuesday because it was that good. The wines are beautifully crafted, and we especially loved tasting Cline’s “Shifting Tides” — elegant, smooth, and full of character. But this place is so much more than just wine. The grounds are open and peaceful, with so much to explore. There’s an original vintage train car, several ponds filled with fish you can feed, donkeys and plenty of open space. It’s crazy how relaxing and beautiful it can be — even with kids in tow. They were entertained and welcomed, and we had real time to enjoy ourselves. When we shared a personal story with a staff member, the owner came out to meet us. Their warmth, curiosity, and incredible generosity were beyond anything we’ve experienced at any winery, ever. We left with great wine and even better memories. Cline is a place we’ll return to again — and tell others about. Special thanks to Emma and Quinnie.

We dropped in unannounced but still treated to an amazing tasting. Wine was fabulous! The grounds were amazing from the mission, to the pond to the donkeys! Loved it all!!

What a beautiful garden and pond! Loved walking the grounds. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and our host Emma had a great sense of humor and immense wine knowledge. Enjoyed the classic Sonoma flight, although the Chardonnay was the winner in our group! Very kid friendly and pet friendly!

Came down for a small trip for our 10yr anniversary, Jerry was amazing we loved him and loved how family friendly and beautiful the winery is! My daughter really enjoyed feeding the fish, we left with two bottles, can’t wait to come back!

4 stars for our awesome server & the beautiful outdoor area. Wines were ok nothing that we wanted to buy a bottle of. Kids are allowed outside (not sure about inside) so if you don't mind rugrats running & screaming all around your table, sit outside and enjoy the scenery.

Cline Cellars has a spectacularly beautiful property! It's welcoming, clean, and stunning. The staff was very friendly and our wine specialist was super knowledgeable and kind. I will happily return but also recommend this family owned oasis when you're in Sonoma!

We really enjoyed our time spent at Cline and hope to be back in the future. The grounds were beautiful and relaxed (heads-up, it was EXTREMELY kid friendly and felt more like a brew garden than a winery). This was easily the only wine we had on our most recent trip to napa that had a taste and experience in line with their pricing.

Every quarter we visit, their wines are simply amazing. Joey always makes thoughtful, precise, and perfectly matched selections to our tastes. His extensive knowledge and genuine passion for the winery make the experience both enjoyable and memorable. I highly recommend seeking his guidance when visiting.

This was a fantastic experience! First off, the view is absolutely beautiful and the lounge area we were seated was comfortable, sunny, and had a great vibe. All of the wines we tasted were wonderful and i would love to have again. Kenny G was the one helping us out and he was very knowledgeable, helpful, and overall a great host. His passion and love for the wines was evident. He gave us generous pours and even offered us more if our hearts desired. We ordered some tapas and it surprised me how high quality they were. I'm usually underwhelmed with the food at wineries but not here. We got the olives, pistachios, garlic mushrooms, patatas bravas, shrimp, duck leg confit, and the dessert platter. The olives were some of my favorite that i've had and the duck leg confit was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! The dessert platter was the perfect way to end the tasting and really went well with the wines. Our whole group agreed at the end of our trip that this was our favorite of the wineries we visited. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this experience!

A Sparkling Sonata in Sonoma Let me set the scene: It’s a June morning. Not just any morning. A crisp, sun-kissed, California morning, and the kind Texans write country songs about because we can only dream of being outside this time of year without melting like a sno-cone in a sauna. We had 11:00 AM reservations for the Taste of Carneros experience at Gloria Ferrer, California’s most awarded sparkling winery and folks, the award shelf must be sagging under the weight of excellence. When we arrived, our table was already staged like a magazine spread: glasses twinkling, menus placed with precision, and views that could silence a room. My adoring sidekick: refined, radiant, and ever-so-prepared for bubbly, was already in her element. As I adjusted my chair to soak in the panoramic perfection of rolling vineyards and olive trees swaying like old souls, she was mid-sip, eyes closed, communing with the first pour. The sparkling wines? Ethereal. Each one whispered something different to the senses: crisp orchard fruit, warm brioche, a flirtatious hint of citrus, and all pulled from the estate like liquid gold. This wasn’t a tasting. It was a symphony, and we had front-row seats. We added Spanish tapas to the mix because, let’s be honest, bubbles demand a supporting cast. The Charcuterie Board: A rustic dream. Manchego, almonds, salami, dried fruit, crackers, and yes, the caper berries, plump as grapes and twice as sassy. The Marinated Olives: These weren’t the olives pressed for their estate olive oil, but a separate batch served up with bold, briny flair. While I maintain my lifelong diplomatic distance from olives, my sidekick declared them “sensational,” and I respect her palate as much as I respect her judgment in husbands. The Empanada: Flaky, golden, and filled with something that made my taste buds do a double-take. A savory masterpiece with a side of greens for moral support. Our wine guide, Ava, was the human equivalent of a great toast—elegant, warm, celebratory, and perfectly timed. Her knowledge flowed freely, her stories were engaging, and her hospitality sealed the deal. She elevated an already magical experience. The interior spaces? Picture a Restoration Hardware catalog crossed with a Sonoma dream—open, modern, and inviting. Even the vine sculpture on the wall seemed to lift its arms and say, “You belong here.” Outside, we explored more seating areas, including some modern Adirondack chairs that looked like they belonged on the cover of Architectural Digest: Vineyard Edition. And the views, dear Lord, the views. We stood together overlooking those vines, taking a photo not just to capture the moment but to testify: we were here, and it was glorious. As we wrapped up, my wife lingered with one last glass of her favorite pour, like a perfectly placed encore before the curtain closed on a flawless performance. We didn’t just enjoy the experience. We absorbed it. TL;DR: Gloria Ferrer is the Beyoncé of bubbles. Sparkling wine that sings, tapas that thrill, and views that steal your breath. Impeccable service, stunning surroundings, and a patio made for Texas escapees. Come for the wine. Stay for the soul-realignment. Already planning our return.

10/10 recommend this winery! The brunch and tasting were our favorite visit during our entire three day trip to Napa and Sonoma. They give you five star treatment and the wines are simply superb! Kenny G was by far the best wine educator and host. He recognized what we liked and made suggestions that fit our palate and lifestyle. Can’t wait to go back again and are looking forward to receiving all of the divine bottles we are having shipped home. :) 🥂

Definitely love the venue with the lovely view over the vineyard. Some good service, food and the VN Vista Brut sparkling wine was the best. Definitely make a reservation before you go.

Easy trail along the coast with access points to the beach. Trail is filled with beautiful natives, and other flowers mostly yellow colored variety! Good for walks, runners etc. flat pathway takes through RV parking and has restrooms. Good for relaxed stroll out in the nature.

Very easy trail and I personally consider it as a jogging trail. It usually takes an hour to complete. The views were awesome, access to the clean beach and perfect vibes. I recommend this trail for beginner hikers.

Stunning! The Half Moon Bay coastal trail is so beautiful and inviting with the trail skimming the coastline in some areas and taking one through woodsy trails in others. It begins (or ends) near the Half Moon Bay Ritz Carlton, along the golf course, and ends in Pillar Point Harbor. A worthwhile hike.

Trail with beautiful beach and ocean view. It’s surrounded by beautiful and colorful flowers. Multiple walking paths which makes it less crowded.

Wonderful beach. Very windy and requires to buy tickets. Well worth it. Lots of flowers and good walking trails. Recommend going to Venice beach, which is one of the 4 beaches in half moon bay

Beautiful because of the magnificent waves. I've never seen waves like this. They are high and far-reaching on the beach. I also saw a huge number of seagulls resting on the beach. They form their own territory just between two areas filled by human visitors.

A very enjoyable entry point to the beach. Restrooms are generous in size and very clean. There are also sinks and lowered faucets for feet washing outside. The parking lot is rather small which makes this spot more intimate compared to the nearby beaches. There is an entry to the walking/biking pass from the parking lot. Picnic tables are also available on the cliffs above the beach with the views.

Windy ….. but nice and clean beach. Campgrounds are very close to the beach. May be camping would be my next option for the San Francisco Area Visit.

Bring a jacket before coming out. Also remember to pay for the parking, there’s always couple of rangers around. Not sure they are there to patrol the park or doing parking enforcement. We came on a Friday and once you go down to the beach it’s so beautiful and isn’t crowded at all. Only few people is down by the water. Wonderful!! Oh, the bathroom was bit dirty. They could use some normal maintenance. 🤗

Windy, foggy & cool when we went. Typical San Fransisco weather I didn’t care for. We skipped the park so no idea what that would have been like. There is a walking trail if you’re a hiker. Parked down the road to avoid any entrance fees. View to the left of the beach was cool. Horses traveling on the beach frequently, which is totally my vibe of interest.

A very beautiful beach with camping facility. Parking here is $10 and you can do overnight camping. You can take your RV here as they have campsite with hookup facility for $50 for overnight camping. Enough restrooms . It's very beautiful currently due to full spring bloom. So many picnic tables here with bbq facility. So basically you can have a wonderful time with family and friends be it for some hours or overnight plans. There are some nets also for people to play beach volleyball as you can make out from the pics .

The Golden Gate Bridge is simply Spectacular! I recommend visiting the visitors center at the south entrance. Here you can learn about the history of the bridge. Absolutely astonishing how these engineers and steel workers survived brutal cold elements to construct this bridge! Visit Fort Point National Historic Site at the base of the bridge for more Historic facts. Take the 1 hour bay cruise and the boat travels underneath the bridge for an unbelievable experience! I recommend driving to the north side of the bridge through the Marin Headlands and visit Golden Gate Bridge overlook it is a breathtaking view of the bridge and you can look into the city of San Francisco.

The Golden Gate Bridge is absolutely stunning and one of the most iconic sights in the world. The bright red color, the ocean breeze, and the sweeping views of San Francisco Bay make it unforgettable. Walking or biking across is an amazing experience you can see the city skyline, Alcatraz, and the Marin Headlands all in one view. Whether it’s covered in fog or glowing at sunset, it’s always breathtaking. A true masterpiece of design and a must-see when visiting San Francisco!

The Golden Gate Bridge was fantastic! Went during the week, not crowded. Was able to cruise across at our leisure and not worry about someone on our ass. Fisherman's Wharf was quiet, no lines. Food is always great in the area. And I'm talking about seafood. Everything is slowed down during the week. We really enjoyed our time there. Hotels were plentiful and cheaper. Looking forward to another visit.

I'm not sure how you even review a bridge, but since I have never driven across the Golden Gate before now, I will say this: it is iconic for a reason. Gorgeous construction, incredible views...and frighteningly, unbelievably narrow lanes for its whole length. Seriously.

Okay, if you have not crossed this legendary Landmark whether by car, bike or walking, you are missing out! Wife and I walked it thinking it was going to be a bit windy and chilly! Quite the opposite, the weather was perfect! I mean perfect! We both wrapped our jackets around our waist and began our walk. Stopped along the way and took pics! Got to the other side and rested for about 20 min. Vendors were at the rest area providing grilled hot dogs and mango/watermelon slices with tajin sprinkled all about. We walked back over and on to Crissy Field. Each way is about 1.7 mile walk. Will definitely do that again!

A childhood dream come true! Visiting the Golden Gate Bridge was a truly special moment for me — something I’ve dreamed of since I was a child. It always reminded me of the TV series Charmed, and seeing it in person felt surreal. The engineering is absolutely incredible, and it’s such a beautiful bridge to walk across — or even to explore by bike if you prefer. A must-see landmark that perfectly combines beauty, history, and innovation.

Beautiful every time! It's worth stopping at the scenic lookout. There's are trails through a wooded section that zigzags up the mountain for spectacular views!:

Beautiful spot on the water. There are several places to pull off the road and hike. I like the first official one, where the historic housing was. The upper parking area has beautiful views. The lower lot has beach access with swimming in the summer and a lovely walk along the stony beach all year.

Such a beautiful, spacious place to camp. Clean restrooms and hot showers too! There was a noise issue that I hope is not typical so I won't take stars away for that. The walking trails nearby were fun and the location in Marin County made quick trips so easy. I do plan on coming out here again to explore further! Don't be too intimidated by the walk in. The trash cans made it weirdly fun.

Fantastic state park only minutes from San Rafael. Beautiful well maintained campground with fabulous hosts. Great mountain bike area mile & miles of trails!

Excellent views and pull offs for trailheads. The original camp town is a wonderful piece of history to walk around the few remains structures. Go!

Great palce for short hiking, cycling and camping. With easy qccess to beach nearby, this is perfect escape from the city. Enjoyed our getaway with family there. Highly recommend it!

Historic, beautiful, and a nice place to stop and have a snack. Lots of people riding bikes, so be aware while driving. Most parking and picnic areas ask $5 self-pay. A lot of people park off the main road and ride bikes, I stopped by the Ranger Station and purchased a trail pass since this park receives no funding!

Don't have the words to describe this park. Simply astonishing! You need q whole day to go around.. multiple days of you wish to make long stops in the sites and enjoy. I think the best way to make the most of it, is to take a look on the several sites, decide which ones you want to see and follow the Google map of the park. This way you will not get lost and you' ll have plenty of time to enjoy - bring coffee and food and no worries, there are clean public restrooms in several points.

Such a beautiful park in the heart of San Francisco! There are so many parts to go and see, from the Conservatory of Flowers down to Blue Heron Lake. In addition, there are many museums to go and explore, such as the California Academy of Sciences and De Young Museum. There is also the serene Japanese Tea Garden, which is an amazing place to walk around and relax. I will definitely come back again!

Golden Gate Park in San Francisco is a vast and beautiful urban oasis filled with gardens, lakes, and walking paths. Stretching over 1,000 acres, it’s home to landmarks like the Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden, and de Young Museum. The park offers space for picnics, biking, and peaceful strolls, making it a perfect escape from city bustle.

Honestly it's just a great park to stroll. The landscaping with the varying vegetation gives it an otherworldly feel like the rest of the city. A lot of juxtaposition. On top of that there are world class museums scattered throughout. Definitely can spread a day out here alone if you're visiting.

We were there for the Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival. String Cheese Incident was phenomenal, as expected, and our favorite act. But the park itself is amazing, festival or not. Excellent birding spot and for walking/strolling. Wheelchair accessible.

This has to be one of the most beautiful parks in the US. Especially love the Japanese Tea Garden, de Young Museum (Art of Manga exhibit was available when I went), and the JFK Promenade to go for a run. Such a nice place to spend the day!

Golden Gate Park is a San Francisco treasure, larger than Central Park and full of things to explore. You’ll find miles of trails for walking or biking, wide lawns for picnics, and lakes with paddle boats. At Strawberry Hill, the park’s highest point, you can enjoy peaceful views, a small waterfall, and dog-friendly paths. We even came across a fun “sea monster” exhibition. Perfect for families, pet owners, or anyone who loves the outdoors.

Kunde Family Winery was a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and totally welcoming. We learned so much about the wines (all we tasted were fabulous) and the history from Jordan Kunde (5th generation winemaker). We very much enjoyed our visit to the winery and look forward to returning! I highly recommend a visit!

We stopped in too late for a tasting but they still poured us a glass to enjoy outside. They recommended we come back in the morning for a tour and tasting. We did and were so happy! Their caves are amazing and Ryan was so friendly and knowledgeable. The wine was fabulous. Definitely recommend stopping by!

The dog walk was fantastic and we couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Jordan Kunde had great stories to tell since he literally experienced them himself. They took very good care of us and our pets even offering 4 different kinds of dog water at lunch. I would definitely recommend and plan to do it again next year. Cheers!

Overall impression: good budget experience for those visiting Sonoma on a quick trip. Tip: make reservations in advance, if you can. Wineries across Sonoma tend to fill up quickly depending on time of year. Like so much in life, we all have our own preferences. This is especially true for wine. For me, the wine at Kunde is mediocre. Probably why they give each table a spittoon. I’ve been here a few times to make sure my opinion isn’t based on a single experience. The food and snack options are fairly run of the mill - nothing that makes Kunde stand out from the crowd. Cheese plates, chips, crackers, and the like. Sadly, not many options for vegans by way of food to enjoy with the wine. The estate is quite beautiful and is kept very nice. Every time I’ve been at Kunde the facilities have been clean and the staff very kind. There’s options for sitting outside on a patio, in a wine cave, and atop a mountain (so plenty of options for one to pick in terms of scenery). This is a commercial winery and it definitely feels like one. This isn’t the winery I’d take someone for a special date, event, or celebration. Kunde provides an atmosphere more appropriate for a casual crowd and agenda. If that’s the type of vibe you’re going for then this might be a good place for you! If you’re looking for wineries that offer more of an upscale feel and experience at a reasonable price then check out some of my other reviews.

We loved our trip and tour of Kunde Winery this past week! Reiner was a wonderful host and made our visit both fun and informative. The grounds and facilities there are beautiful. Oh, and the wines were outstanding. If you’ve been before, you already know. If not, I’d highly recommend you add Kunde to your visit list.

My experience of participating in a Kunde Mountaintop Wine Tasting was a dream come true. I loved every minute of it, including Ryan (our professional wine host) sharing so many details about the 5th generation property and wines. It was so very impressive and DELICIOUS.

Very small venue in front of the downtown center. Fresh produce, arts, jewelry, and music.

Great place for a stroll, lots of fresh produce, meats, cheeses, seafood, bread. If it's fresh seasonal food your looking for you can't go wrong. It can get busy but you can usually find parking somewhat in the civic center parking lots.

It's a great Farmers Market, we have not had it this year due to Coronavirus. We will have it again. People look forward to this. The venders are nice, I had made a few friends there. Fresh fruit and vegetables, 🍯 honey you buy from the bee keepers and flowers as well as fresh food being made in front of you, all different kinds of food from Indian curry's to 🌮 tacos and more. Music and tables to eat. It would be ending around now, from summer to fall. It draws a crowd. I give it 5 stars. Enjoy.

It's so fun every Thursday evening I go there for fresh fruits and vegetables but they have really good food trucks options that changes every week. Music, games, dance. So fun.

Unfortunately I found this fair lacking. It's just not as good as past years. Very few tables with fresh fruit and veggies. Not that much of anything but food vendors. The music was the only thing worth going for . Very disappointing.

Love the people there they're always nice and polite the produce is great and I found the best honey I've been able to find anywhere in the Bay Area... the young lady who brings the honey there is quite nice, lets you taste the honey and there's a good variety of it.. and the price is okay

Cute petite little stop for lunch, wine, and chocolate! We dont drink but needed something to eat so was nice to travel through wine country and find a quaint little pet friendly spot offering snacks. Service was super friendly, Jenna and Sophia were very sweet and helpful in answering my 5000 questions. Highly recommended swinging by for a pit stop if you're in this neck of the woods

My wife and I did a wine tasting here with Courtney. Courtney was fantastic; described the history of the winery and explained the various wines perfectly. The winery is gorgeous with a real Italian feel to it. Great experience, thanks again, Courtney (and VJB)!

Came in from outta state was recommended for the food…. The food was about worth 10 cents. Had a pizza and bit into a dime in the pizza crust wasn’t compt any of the food only offered more to say the least I will not be coming back or recommending to anyone if you need a good winery to visit move on down the road to St. Francis Also was given excuse after excuse on how pizza is made as an explanation on why the dime was in there In the first place.

The venue and service is nice. The staff was friendly. The tasting pours for our group went a bit slower than we'd like and they do not comp any tastings for buying wine. At least that's what someone in our group was told. I can tell the wine is well made but I do not enjoy Italian varietals.

We had an amazing experience at VJB. Our group did the wine and pizza lunch tasting and it was wonderful. The wine was excellent and the pizza was top notch. They made our group feel so welcome and relaxed it was truly a treat. Don’t forget to try the gelato! I would highly recommend this winery to anyone touring the Sonoma area. It does not disappoint!!

VJB is one of my wife and I's new favorite wineries in all of Sonoma! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Our server Bo gave us an incredible and warm hearted tasting experience, making us feel like fast friends. One thing that makes this winery unique is their incredible wood fire pizza, which is a family recipe made with fresh ingredients completely from scratch... some of the best pizza I've had in a long while! After our tasting and during our dining portion, several other servers stopped by our table to check on us and make us feel cared for. One of them even learned that it was our 17-year wedding anniversary and brought us a complimentary glass of prosecco. VJB offered us everything we would want in a tasting experience in wine country, taking us on a journey to Old Italy. It just may be our new go-to spot. Highly recommend!

This place from the moment we walked onto their property was amazing, a host immediately greeted us and gave us a walkthrough overview of what and where things are. We stopped in for a quick tasting and stayed for that and lunch. Beautiful patio area. I’m getting ahead of myself tho. We started in the tasting room and got a lot of great information and history from the gal ( whose name I’m sorry I forgot) and enjoyed everything we tasted. We decided to join their club and next ordered lunch, where we had the most amazing Arugala salad with a dressing that was really special, and a pizza. Jennifer was kind enough to include a jar of the dressing that we got today with our first shipment. We will definitely continue to order from them and visit of course whenever we go up there, we were visiting from Ventura Cheers to the staff for a wonderful experience Craig & Eugenia
